  knew I was in a good spot and I really wanted to build a good

  run. And then I realized that the guy

  that was supposed to push me together, Ron, was Ryan's

  playing teammates. So he wasn't helping much.

  So he wasn't, I was, I was saying.

  So I was like, come on, man. I was like this this.

  So once I realized that, I knew we were gonna take something

  my he's the one that initiated the entire team because he

  pushed, he pushed Bush into play me and I was side by side with

  Bush. He was able to make the move on

  play me and I made the move on him.

  So at that point, once I came, once I got into corner three, I

  already knew I was in a good spot because I wanted to be on

  the outside. Right hand.

  point, I mean it was just I mean anyone could have anyone could

  have won that race, right. It was a matter of inches.

  But luckily, you know, the outside prevailed a little bit

  because I was the car that was the most far back getting into a

  three, which that gave me the advantage of momentum going into

  the stairway from the stairway. So it doesn't work out good for

  finish was amazing for the entire race.

  Each year when you cross the threshold of being a winner,

  you're in the playoffs. Now you know, we got that going

  for you. You can start building.

  shoulders? Yeah, it's definitely a little

  bit of a weight off your shoulders because you know, you

  can try things outside the box. You know, like for example, my

  my teammate Ross and I in the last two months, you know, Ross

  is being working with a staff that we all know is good, right.

  And in the 99 we've been think we've been doing things outside

  the box, you know, trying different things, trying that,

  trying things to trying things that really we have paid the
• 3:16
  price in some races and in some other races we have learned

  something very good. So, you know, I feel like you

  just give us more freedom to try different things.

  Without being said right now, we're only 10 weeks away from

  the playoffs. So right now we have to get back

  on track because it's impossible to start the playoffs, let's say

  tomorrow and just flip a switch and say, OK, now, now, now I'm

  going to start trying. And it doesn't work like that.

  So you have to kind of like start building some momentum

  and, and you know, that's, that's what we want to do,

  Mexico and at the time I was trying to make the transition to

  the United States. And this friend come and say to

  people say, hey, watch out. This guy, man, this guy is gonna

  go to the to the United States. He can't even speak English

  right now, but he's gonna he's gonna go to the United States to

  race NASCAR. And you never know, one day

  you're gonna see him over there. And Fast forward 10 years later,

  you know. So bad we're we're.

  Partners in the same racing and and when we when he find out

  when when he was having this conversation with Ryan House and

  he find out I was the driver I mean that was a huge step in the
• 5:24
  right direction to get the deal lost.

  You know, that's that's something that I feel so blessed

  obviously being the only Mexican driver in NASCAR today in the

  Cup Series, he just give me that opportunity, you know, that to

  to do things a little bit different, you know, because I'm

  going with it and embrace it. Obviously there is there is a

  lot of people from the United States, from outside the United
• 6:31
  States, from Mexico, from Latin American.

  You know that that they support me a lot and I told those and

  it's always a lot of fun on any given weekend in other.

  Professional sports, there's hundreds of people out there

  that compete. This little group of Cup Series

  drivers. There's only 38.

  This is a very small group. It's one of the toughest things
• 6:53
  in professional sports to do is to make it to the Cup Series.

  To be a winner on the Cup Series, that's something else.

  But could you imagine trying to do something that hard when

  you're from a different country, don't know the language at first
• 7:05
  and shoot game. He's doing TV broadcast right

  now. You really overcame some

  hurdles. I just want to congratulate you

  and same way to go or not giving up.

  discipline and surround yourself with the right people.

  And especially all all the young kids, you know, all the young

  kids. Look, there's a little amigo

  right there. All the young kids that you

  know, are starting to starting this journey called life, you

  know, to start to to understand what they want to do.

  You know, obviously when they're very young, you know, they have

  to go to school, they have to learn, they have to go through

  the system by the same time learn what they want to do with

  life, you know, and something that is general, in my opinion,

  is hard work, discipline and surround yourself with the right
• 8:21
  people. So give them a round of

  applause. I mean, it's very inspiring

  because I know I know people right here in town and goes, hey

  man, how do I start racing? I'm like, man, first thing I do

  is be a race car driver. You got to have that dream.
