- 0:00Speaker 1: Yo, it's the Bootleg Caps Show. We got a special
- 0:02Speaker 1: guest in here. I'm gonna say it because all of
- 0:05Speaker 1: the amazing rappers that I know that I talked about,
- 0:08Speaker 1: who's that motherfucker? You know, rappers got their favorite rappers.
- 0:11Speaker 1: One of the illdest mothers alive j Id is here.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Welcome man. That's good. First of all, I've been very
- 0:18Speaker 1: appreciative of the Lucy's you've been dropping. Obviously, the Spillage
- 0:20Speaker 1: Village Project was incredible. Why has it taken so long
- 0:26Speaker 1: to drop a new body of work from you? Uh?
- 0:30Speaker 1: Four years? Right? Four years and some change? Fakely like
- 0:34Speaker 1: I will say three you know what I'm saying, because
- 0:36Speaker 1: I dropped November like twenty eighteen. Yeah, so about three. Yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Then that whole year we toured, like the whole twent
- 0:41Speaker 1: nineteen we tour, and then twenty twenty came did the
- 0:46Speaker 1: Grammys because of the spill because of the Revenge Project
- 0:49Speaker 1: came out two nineteen. Obviously you got the Grammy. And
- 0:53Speaker 1: then twenty twenty we're supposed to go to Japan. It's
- 0:57Speaker 1: supposed to go on to tour in Tokyo whatever. And
- 0:59Speaker 1: then and that's when I really started working on the album.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying about my regognizance. You know
- 1:05Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I started working on it, so you
- 1:06Speaker 1: started like twenty like your process has been like a
- 1:08Speaker 1: two year process kind of Yeah. And I've been dropping
- 1:11Speaker 1: so much work since. You know, the Conway record is crazy. Yeah,
- 1:15Speaker 1: that's my dog. It's hard. You got one of them
- 1:17Speaker 1: ones from him too, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, So yeah,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I don't see it like that. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:22Speaker 1: just the circumstances of the world. I'm sure it would
- 1:26Speaker 1: have came out of twenty twenty without minus the state
- 1:29Speaker 1: of the world. Of course. Talk about your relationship with
- 1:31Speaker 1: with with Conway. Obviously you hopped on Scatterbrain, which is
- 1:34Speaker 1: close to going gold it is. Yeah, I just talked
- 1:36Speaker 1: to him earlier last week. I think it's going to
- 1:38Speaker 1: go gold soon. Did you get I know he did
- 1:42Speaker 1: that on TV? Did you were you on TV with
- 1:43Speaker 1: him when he did that? Yeah? Yeah, we did it
- 1:45Speaker 1: on I believe it was falling. When you see someone
- 1:47Speaker 1: like Conway or just in general, like an MC that
- 1:50Speaker 1: you feel like, is you know one of them once?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Like do you feel like kind of like you know
- 1:56Speaker 1: as like almost like a Jedi relationship with like certain rappers,
- 2:00Speaker 1: you kind of got to like reach out and be like, yo,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I see what you're doing. Yeah, we I feel like
- 2:04Speaker 1: we tapped in and maybe twenty eighteen just on some
- 2:08Speaker 1: like mutual respective. I feel like it was around the
- 2:10Speaker 1: time I did like the funk flesh free style, and
- 2:13Speaker 1: ever since, I feel like we've been tapped in super
- 2:16Speaker 1: solid dude. But all of them guys over there, you
- 2:17Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Ben west Side, like body, all
- 2:21Speaker 1: of them, They're amazing. I love all these incredible. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: love all of them. So I feel like my comedy too,
- 2:27Speaker 1: is he with them? Yeah, my commys with them. Crazy.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You know on the streets there's a lot of crazy
- 2:32Speaker 1: Stove got Cooks, Martie Caesar. Yeah, they got adult camp
- 2:36Speaker 1: over us. I just respect it. I like movements like
- 2:38Speaker 1: that when it's like super based in like the the
- 2:41Speaker 1: pure form of like hip hop. I would say, you
- 2:43Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, one of my favorite new artists
- 2:46Speaker 1: who relatively new. I mean it's been doing the same.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But I love Kenny Man and you got Kenny on
- 2:52Speaker 1: this uh this drop that just just came out. Obviously
- 2:54Speaker 1: somebody from from atl somebody who I think somehow was
- 2:59Speaker 1: a little underappreciated, you know, but it's I feel like
- 3:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a crazy career ahead of him. Just
- 3:05Speaker 1: talk about like linking up with Kenny Man and just
- 3:06Speaker 1: kind of, you know, shine some light on on on
- 3:09Speaker 1: him in general, because I feel like he's he's one
- 3:11Speaker 1: of them ones as well. Yeah, she's dope real. I'm
- 3:15Speaker 1: just like a super fan of like Atlanta, you know
- 3:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Just just what that whole scene brings.
- 3:23Speaker 1: So I'm like super supportive or whatever, even if some
- 3:25Speaker 1: people may hate it or whatever. Like I'm just super
- 3:27Speaker 1: supportive of it. This sounds just coming from the city.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So there's a lot of upcoming artists that I like,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I show love to, you know what I'm saying, just
- 3:35Speaker 1: because it needs that light being shined. You know what
- 3:37Speaker 1: I'm saying. I got blessed with the opportunity with somebody
- 3:40Speaker 1: like shine a light on me. You got me to
- 3:42Speaker 1: this point where I'm talking to you, you you know what
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm saying, So I just try and do my part.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It ain't even too much thought into it, you know
- 3:47Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you talented, like you're from the city,
- 3:50Speaker 1: like I'm doing this this black and white for real,
- 3:52Speaker 1: give me some of the background. Obviously, Spillage Village is
- 3:57Speaker 1: a crew. Before you guys were everyone was signed. You
- 4:01Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You give me the dynamics because
- 4:04Speaker 1: it was at the house everybody was living in. Was it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Shout out to Maria, shout out to black, shouts to
- 4:09Speaker 1: everybody who's involved. Give me kind of like the breakdown
- 4:12Speaker 1: of of of like the roots of Spillage Village because
- 4:15Speaker 1: it's like almost like y'all are like low key, like
- 4:17Speaker 1: very reminiscent of the Dungeon family coming out of the
- 4:19Speaker 1: a you know what I mean. It started with me
- 4:22Speaker 1: and Earth Gang. We literally said, hey, we should be
- 4:25Speaker 1: a collective. You know what I'm saying. We was going
- 4:27Speaker 1: to school at the same time in Virginia, so we're
- 4:31Speaker 1: able to do but cook for sure. That's amazing. I
- 4:34Speaker 1: love that reference. Shout out the push that or who
- 4:38Speaker 1: said that, that's that's malice. Yeah, that's malice. Amazing. But yeah,
- 4:44Speaker 1: we was all up in through Virginia, but I got
- 4:47Speaker 1: kicked out of school, so like trying to figure out
- 4:49Speaker 1: what's next. He was like, let's start this collective. Like
- 4:51Speaker 1: he's really was already wrapping together fakely in the dorms,
- 4:55Speaker 1: like trying to figure out how to put it together.
- 4:57Speaker 1: But then we said, let's put it together, me and
- 4:59Speaker 1: Earth Gang, so we started it. And then we had
- 5:02Speaker 1: the homies like Hollywood Jab and Jordan Bryant like they brothers.
- 5:06Speaker 1: They were just amazing. And then Mariba and Black was
- 5:08Speaker 1: just like we knew them from the city, did shows
- 5:11Speaker 1: around the same type of little scene we had, and
- 5:14Speaker 1: then it just all worked out. It was really family,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. We all lived in the
- 5:17Speaker 1: same house at the time. Period was just sleeping on
- 5:19Speaker 1: couches and stuff like that now Marie, but more so
- 5:21Speaker 1: because you know what I'm saying, shit lady, but all
- 5:23Speaker 1: the boys we used to rough it, you know what
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm saying, college doing room style, Like what's like, what's
- 5:27Speaker 1: that crib like with you Earth getting Black? Everybody in
- 5:30Speaker 1: the crib? Is it like everyone's always recording? Is like
- 5:34Speaker 1: what like what is that like? Yeah, it wasn't like
- 5:36Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. We was moving around. We
- 5:39Speaker 1: wasn't just sitting in the house recording. So some days
- 5:41Speaker 1: like somebody be on the me. I wake up every
- 5:44Speaker 1: morning got right to it before anybody. I'm up six
- 5:47Speaker 1: in the morning with it. But everybody's moving around doing
- 5:49Speaker 1: different things, and we just tried to find time to
- 5:51Speaker 1: make music together and then like separately, we had to
- 5:53Speaker 1: make our projects to get us the individual like you
- 5:56Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So it was it was kind
- 5:59Speaker 1: of organized, it was kind of mature. It's hell because
- 6:01Speaker 1: he knew what he was going for nah, and it
- 6:03Speaker 1: worked out. I feel like it. I feel like there's
- 6:05Speaker 1: not enough. I feel like people don't know that story
- 6:09Speaker 1: enough because if you think about everybody's really doing their thing,
- 6:12Speaker 1: everybody signed, everybody likes Black, Like the first guy that
- 6:16Speaker 1: really kind of popped off, Yeah, Black killed it three
- 6:19Speaker 1: Black was fucking classic, fucking insane bro. And I just
- 6:23Speaker 1: saw it in him, like I saw the trajectory of
- 6:25Speaker 1: where he was gonna go, just off his work ethic
- 6:27Speaker 1: and just how he used to move around. Like, do
- 6:29Speaker 1: you have any intel on it when he's gonna put
- 6:31Speaker 1: out a new album because it's been a while. No,
- 6:35Speaker 1: I ain't got too man, I'll be on it though
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm beyond it. I say that. I'll tell you this.
- 6:40Speaker 1: The lvr N guys have come through here with like
- 6:41Speaker 1: three artists in the last two months, and every time
- 6:43Speaker 1: they come, I'm like, guys, what is going on with
- 6:46Speaker 1: the black shit? We need a new I feel like
- 6:49Speaker 1: the last album was twenty nineteen. What's it twenty eighteen?
- 6:53Speaker 1: It might be eighteen, yeah, might be eighteen. It feels
- 6:58Speaker 1: like it feels like a while at least it got
- 7:01Speaker 1: to be. I think it's eighteen. You obviously are very distinct.
- 7:07Speaker 1: You're very unique in your delivery. I feel like, in
- 7:11Speaker 1: a world in which we have so many artists that
- 7:14Speaker 1: sound alike or at least very you know, influenced by
- 7:18Speaker 1: each other, I feel like you're kind of quite the opposite.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Who would you say you grab inspiration from, whether it's
- 7:25Speaker 1: old heads or you know shit you grown up growing
- 7:28Speaker 1: up listening to, or new shit. It really like bounced around,
- 7:34Speaker 1: Like my number one inspiration in music from when it
- 7:39Speaker 1: came to me, Like at a time when I needed
- 7:41Speaker 1: it was like a group called Little Dragon, Little Dragon
- 7:44Speaker 1: from Gothenburg, Sweden, Bros. Like my favorite group in the world.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Word Yeah, Like I was going through something crazy and
- 7:50Speaker 1: I found in music and it helped me even become
- 7:54Speaker 1: a better writer. Better The music in English ers and
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's in English and it's super soulful. You know what
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm saying, pop funk. He's not like rap ship, but
- 8:01Speaker 1: it's great sounds. And and then of course like all
- 8:05Speaker 1: the mega hip hop people we know, of course jay
- 8:09Speaker 1: Z like little Wayne like these are my like I'm curious,
- 8:12Speaker 1: who's who's on your like mount rushing out like give
- 8:15Speaker 1: me your five like no, no order. You don't got
- 8:18Speaker 1: to give you an order because that's where things get
- 8:19Speaker 1: kind of hairy. You're like jay Z Wayne where your
- 8:23Speaker 1: cast has one little dragon and sliding and family Stone
- 8:28Speaker 1: or D'Angelo like they're super Okay, we're talking about MC's here.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Oh we gotta talk about rap. We're talking about rap. Okay,
- 8:33Speaker 1: straight rap. So jay Z Wayne outcast is one. It
- 8:42Speaker 1: gets tricky, right, it does get tricky, Wayne Hove outcast
- 8:46Speaker 1: so farward you three for three sweat shirt earl sweat
- 8:49Speaker 1: Shirt's got crazy right, Wow, it's tough, you know. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 1: one more you feel think like a lot of names,
- 9:03Speaker 1: Look at the names. What are some names going through
- 9:06Speaker 1: your head? Like the like like of course different vibes.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Was y'all seen Bay Like it's so many people that
- 9:21Speaker 1: I just like love so much. Yeah, you have, you
- 9:23Speaker 1: have your scene bay Aka are formerly noticed Most Depth
- 9:26Speaker 1: on the project crazy, that's crazy, hear that first? I
- 9:29Speaker 1: have not. I have not yet, but let me tell
- 9:32Speaker 1: you something. I just had a Conway. Me and Conway
- 9:37Speaker 1: are riding around in Denver last week and we're listening
- 9:40Speaker 1: to Respiration by Black Star and we're going back and
- 9:43Speaker 1: forth about live quality versus Most and I was like,
- 9:47Speaker 1: I love Tyler, that's my guy. But I'm like, I
- 9:49Speaker 1: don't even think it's a discussion. I think Most Death,
- 9:51Speaker 1: Like if Most Death like applied himself and hip hop,
- 9:54Speaker 1: he'd be like ship Man, you gotta think like black
- 9:58Speaker 1: we got black on both sides and Black Star and
- 10:01Speaker 1: then what was the name of the album that came
- 10:03Speaker 1: out like a few years later where he had the
- 10:05Speaker 1: ship over his face had sunshine on there. But I
- 10:08Speaker 1: feel like he always was one foot in, one foot
- 10:10Speaker 1: out with the rap shit. Like imagine if he really
- 10:13Speaker 1: was like dug In, it would have been crazy. Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I heard Chappelle say, like, even the way he moves
- 10:19Speaker 1: just like super brilliant too. I think because I heard
- 10:22Speaker 1: Chappelle say something like artists don't want you shouldn't want
- 10:25Speaker 1: to be a commodity. You know what I'm saying. You
- 10:28Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Yeah, I feel like that's like
- 10:31Speaker 1: kind of a powerful ass statement to accept, you know
- 10:34Speaker 1: what I'm saying, commodities or like water, like right, all
- 10:37Speaker 1: of the shit that you need. But it's just like, no,
- 10:40Speaker 1: you don't want to be seen is that you want
- 10:42Speaker 1: to be seen as like one to one or you
- 10:44Speaker 1: want to be seen as a fingerprint, snowflake or some shit. No,
- 10:47Speaker 1: it's kind of deep to me. I think you're doing
- 10:48Speaker 1: a pretty good job of that. Yeah, for sure, my
- 10:53Speaker 1: favorite artists are consistent, but it's more so in their product,
- 11:00Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. They're not always in your face,
- 11:02Speaker 1: but when they come they come up with that shutters
- 11:04Speaker 1: that's what that's That's what I love about it. Yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I love artists drop a lot consistency as well, like
- 11:09Speaker 1: a lot of trap artists like stay on it, like
- 11:12Speaker 1: that stay bag and that ship is beautiful. It's I
- 11:14Speaker 1: love it, you know what I'm saying. But it's just
- 11:16Speaker 1: different ways to skin a cat. Who where do skinny
- 11:19Speaker 1: cat come from? That's kind of crazy to say I'm
- 11:21Speaker 1: skinner cat. Skinner cat. Do you know anyone who's skinned cat.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I think it'll be a hard fucking task too. My
- 11:28Speaker 1: cats are crazy, you know that. I would say I
- 11:32Speaker 1: would fucking I'll take a fight with a dog over
- 11:34Speaker 1: a fucking tom depends. It depends on the type of
- 11:37Speaker 1: dog though, because dogs get busy. Okay, like a golden
- 11:40Speaker 1: lab give me the golden airbuod. You're gonna fight airbhood.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'll fight airbud over fucking Jerry Bros. Tom Tom. Cats
- 11:50Speaker 1: are fucking and they're quick as their ninjas and they
- 11:53Speaker 1: got the claws. Bro. I name my cat. Frank Ocean,
- 11:57Speaker 1: do you have a cat? Would you consider your off
- 12:00Speaker 1: a cat? Person? I hate his ass, but we just
- 12:03Speaker 1: got like a more faster things Like it's like he
- 12:06Speaker 1: be doing ship like it's my shorty cat, So nigga
- 12:12Speaker 1: get on the tallest part of the whatever. Yeah, just
- 12:16Speaker 1: standing there like you just at the top of prime rock,
- 12:18Speaker 1: like he's overlooking the peasants Like this is just so
- 12:21Speaker 1: y'all know this is my ship and ship like that.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So different. But the person, Frank Ocean, Yeah, do you
- 12:28Speaker 1: have a dog as well? I had a dog passed away,
- 12:33Speaker 1: rough man. I'm a huge dogs as a turtle name turtle.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Turtles lift they're supposed to kind of. So this is
- 12:40Speaker 1: we went to a fair or some ship and got
- 12:43Speaker 1: a small little turtles. You know when they give that's
- 12:45Speaker 1: the corner. Yeah, oh yeah, we got it. Anywhere you're
- 12:48Speaker 1: going and they're selling animals on the side of the
- 12:50Speaker 1: streets and they just giving these bitches out. It's like like,
- 12:53Speaker 1: we can't get these off. These joints are sick. Take
- 12:55Speaker 1: the turtle. Gave us this one turtle. We keep the
- 12:58Speaker 1: turtle for a couple of weeks, feeding all of this stuff.
- 13:00Speaker 1: But I started doing research and they say these turtles
- 13:02Speaker 1: need a companion or they will it's off themselves. So
- 13:07Speaker 1: in the next couple of weeks, nigga stop eating, started
- 13:11Speaker 1: making little turtle noise, and then you start putting his
- 13:14Speaker 1: head under the you know you got the little at
- 13:17Speaker 1: the bottom of the tank. His nigga was in pure loneliness,
- 13:20Speaker 1: like he committed suicide. It was the sadish I seen turtle.
- 13:23Speaker 1: So it was the sad shit I ever seen in
- 13:24Speaker 1: my life. I'm talking about in the span of like
- 13:26Speaker 1: three days, four days, he was just like I'm done.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He just killed himself. He's like, I'm not eating where's
- 13:30Speaker 1: my girl, where's my Where's anything? I just need to
- 13:32Speaker 1: knock around some stuff. I know. If the cat's Frank Ocean,
- 13:35Speaker 1: who's the turtle? His name was Turtle, just turtle. I
- 13:38Speaker 1: respect that. I don't feel like I don't feel like
- 13:40Speaker 1: you're amphibian, right? Turtles? Amphibians? There? What the fuck is
- 13:45Speaker 1: it is? What a reptile? What the fuck is the
- 13:48Speaker 1: amphibian and a lizard? A frog is an amphibian? Okay, Okay,
- 13:52Speaker 1: Turtles reptiles, they don't hear. I don't feel like they.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I feel like they only see like heat. When I
- 13:58Speaker 1: was a kid, I had a box turtle and I
- 14:00Speaker 1: named him Fat Joe. That's hard. I'll be knowing my
- 14:04Speaker 1: shit knowing. Hey, we gotta stop the interview real quick

- 15:06Speaker 1: your dog? When your dog passed away? I actually don't know.
- 15:09Speaker 1: It was crazy. He was trying to find like this
- 15:12Speaker 1: is the crazyt door. This is maybe like three four
- 15:14Speaker 1: years ago. We was trying to get a bull mastive.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Got on Craigslist, got the dog for like sixty bucks.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Said it was a bull mastive. It wasn't. Nigga was
- 15:27Speaker 1: anything but a bull mastive. It could have been mixed
- 15:29Speaker 1: with cat far as I know, but he uh, I
- 15:32Speaker 1: don't know how sixty bucks for a bull mastive feels
- 15:35Speaker 1: like a little low. It was just rough times, you
- 15:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like, you know what, Yeah, I
- 15:39Speaker 1: trust this guy sixty dollars even though it's probably like
- 15:41Speaker 1: a two thousand dollars dog. That's a huge, two thousand
- 15:44Speaker 1: dollar dog, and it was supposed to be way bigger.
- 15:46Speaker 1: He just had big palls, you know how they say
- 15:47Speaker 1: big palls, especially if it's a puppy that'll be like,
- 15:49Speaker 1: look at his pause, it's gonna go up to be huge.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That dog was not it. He was not him, but
- 15:53Speaker 1: he lived for maybe I don't know. He ran away
- 15:56Speaker 1: and then never seen him again. So I just he
- 15:58Speaker 1: might still be out here, man, he might be out
- 16:00Speaker 1: here doing his thing. That's running it up. Yo. When
- 16:06Speaker 1: it comes to your album, I saw the artwork. Uh,
- 16:09Speaker 1: the artwork is crazy. Give me kind of like the
- 16:11Speaker 1: whole concept but behind the title and the artwork. So
- 16:16Speaker 1: this project is, uh, it's a sequel. I love doing
- 16:19Speaker 1: sequels because I like movies and shit. So I feel
- 16:21Speaker 1: like if it's a good first movie, like I want
- 16:22Speaker 1: to see the second Okay, so I was like that.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So I've been doing that my whole career, just making
- 16:26Speaker 1: them a sequels. This was just like if you look
- 16:29Speaker 1: at the first cover, it was animated drawing out a
- 16:32Speaker 1: bunch of chaos, almost Where's Waldo, But you see a
- 16:34Speaker 1: lot of like trauma and black issues and stuff like that, cops,
- 16:37Speaker 1: football players, basketball players, people in jail. And then we
- 16:40Speaker 1: decided to bring this cover to live action, to like
- 16:43Speaker 1: to real life. So we got even like some of
- 16:46Speaker 1: the family members that represented some of these places, some
- 16:48Speaker 1: of my sisters, some of my brothers, my cousin, friends,
- 16:51Speaker 1: and and then just other people who just could feel
- 16:54Speaker 1: those roles, and we brought it to life. And it's
- 16:56Speaker 1: just kind of showing like even if you see like
- 16:58Speaker 1: where I'm placed at in the first when I'm kind
- 17:00Speaker 1: of like on the outside, but I'm still close to
- 17:02Speaker 1: the center, and it's when I'm like dead in the middle.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's kind of like representing like where I see myself
- 17:08Speaker 1: at this point in my life. You know what I'm saying, Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I left, did all the torn and stuff, made success
- 17:13Speaker 1: for myself, whatever my mom would say, and when I
- 17:17Speaker 1: come back, it's kind of like I see the same things.
- 17:19Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, This was kind of like
- 17:21Speaker 1: a representation to do my mind set. Yeah, I think chaos.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I think. I feel like artwork nowadays is like very
- 17:29Speaker 1: my I just feel like people don't put enough thought
- 17:31Speaker 1: into their ship. Well, so when I see like your ship,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm like, damn this this is crazy or so shout
- 17:35Speaker 1: out to you. Even like like a guy like west
- 17:37Speaker 1: Side Boogie his his artwork is what's crazy on his
- 17:39Speaker 1: album Crazy album too. By the way, shout out to
- 17:41Speaker 1: Boogie Baby Taits on the project She's Fire. I just
- 17:45Speaker 1: met her in Miami. She's an amazing shout out to her.
- 17:48Speaker 1: She had. I asked her who was her all time
- 17:52Speaker 1: trap artist, and she did not include Gez Gez or
- 17:54Speaker 1: Ti Crazy. I was a little I was a little thing.
- 17:58Speaker 1: She said, Scooter Fire. You're really Atlanta girl. Know Scooter
- 18:03Speaker 1: is fucking incredible. Gucci obviously the egos and said owe
- 18:11Speaker 1: me a birth. I'll say you owe me a birth.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I don't know why I can't think of the guy's name.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Make the trap say a we signed a Gucci ju
- 18:18Speaker 1: juice man, oh j the juice Man. Mm hmmm mm hmmm.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Where would you put like your if you had. We're
- 18:24Speaker 1: talking about trap trap music Atlanta. Mm hmm. I mean
- 18:30Speaker 1: of course like T I like the it's T I
- 18:35Speaker 1: g Z Yeah, yeah, in that order, in that order,
- 18:40Speaker 1: just because TI trap music. That's a staple who's got
- 18:43Speaker 1: more classics. But I'm not doing it. I'm not answering
- 18:46Speaker 1: it's Geez. I think it's Geezy. I think you got
- 18:56Speaker 1: I'm pleading in fifth all right, only because random question.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Would you take uh TM one on one or the
- 19:03Speaker 1: recession one on one? Easy? But the recessional session was amazing,
- 19:11Speaker 1: But I'm taking in one one is just minded me
- 19:13Speaker 1: of a time period in Atlanta, holding the wall party
- 19:16Speaker 1: like just some young ship. So we gotta fill it out. Well,
- 19:19Speaker 1: you said, uh T Cheezy still got guys out there
- 19:24Speaker 1: like Gucci. Gotta say Gucci. I don't go the little
- 19:32Speaker 1: baby of that already, let's go baby. I've never seen
- 19:38Speaker 1: somebody improve so drastically at rapping so fast, don't you agree?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Like he's nudy was my last one? Yeah, shot out
- 19:46Speaker 1: to Nudy. Nudy also someone that doesn't get enough flowers nationally,
- 19:50Speaker 1: at least little baby. Though you're a fucking m c's
- 19:55Speaker 1: MC hasn't been crazy to see just how impeccable he's gotten.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Like at this rapping ship, this what he's made for.
- 20:03Speaker 1: It's so it's so impressive. You could tell when it's somebody,
- 20:05Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I could tell this was
- 20:07Speaker 1: his calling because he went from like being like really
- 20:09Speaker 1: open to be like yeah, Gunner like helps me help
- 20:11Speaker 1: me start to write and ship, and like now he's
- 20:14Speaker 1: like top tier, don't miss He deserves it though, Yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 1: he deserves it, really gifted. So we said, offset o
- 20:23Speaker 1: you a verse? Anybody else will your verse? Now that's
- 20:25Speaker 1: my dog. I'm just no, no, no, no, no no verse?
- 20:29Speaker 1: Uh is there? I mean this is the quintessential. Is
- 20:33Speaker 1: there going to be another Dreamville compilation? Question? That'll be smart? Yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, that'll be smart to do that.
- 20:39Speaker 1: The last one was so epic, and if we brought
- 20:41Speaker 1: it in hone it in Moore, just about make it
- 20:43Speaker 1: more so about the collective, you know what I'm saying.
- 20:45Speaker 1: It's a lot of outside Yeah, we just a couple
- 20:48Speaker 1: of features here and there, just make it about the collective.
- 20:49Speaker 1: It'd be way. It was so good though, man, he
- 20:52Speaker 1: was I tell Eve. I was like, bro, the fact
- 20:55Speaker 1: that you because I know that y'all pulled from He
- 20:56Speaker 1: pulled from so many records, and I was like, bro,
- 20:59Speaker 1: the fact you're able to pull from so many different
- 21:01Speaker 1: joints and make like, I'm sure a scattered creative process
- 21:05Speaker 1: sounds so cohesive, so many different artists. This thing good
- 21:09Speaker 1: guy for sure. Man on the album rapping he was
- 21:12Speaker 1: on the albump what Yeah, don't forget I said that,
- 21:18Speaker 1: just listen for He sounded like m F doom on God.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You got Ibrahim rapping his bos on the song too.
- 21:26Speaker 1: You're doing like you got Boss on the album? Right, yeah,
- 21:29Speaker 1: you know like backgrounds and you know what I'm saying, Yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 1: I love Boss now that he's like kind of in
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's like melodic bag that's what. Yeah. Like he killed
- 21:38Speaker 1: the Cold album Facts Facts. I love his party. When
- 21:41Speaker 1: I was like, who the fuck is this? I said, should,
- 21:44Speaker 1: I'm like, you got a new pocket? What? Yeah? You ah,
- 21:49Speaker 1: craig me if I'm wrong. You were on like a
- 21:51Speaker 1: kind of like a pop tour or is that? Oh?
- 21:53Speaker 1: I was going around doing shows. Imagine dragons, Imagine dragons.
- 21:58Speaker 1: What was that like? Bro? You know I'm just saying
- 22:01Speaker 1: because an imagine Dragon's concert is like a whole different world.
- 22:04Speaker 1: It's a serial, like a serious level of Caucasian that
- 22:06Speaker 1: goes to those shows and album definitely like the minority
- 22:14Speaker 1: and the biggest regard, you know what I'm saying, So
- 22:16Speaker 1: I fuck with it. Though they got some anthems, yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 1: you like they literally have stadium music one. You heard
- 22:22Speaker 1: that shit in Target. You heard it in commercials and
- 22:24Speaker 1: commercials everywhere in the movies and soundtracks and all of
- 22:27Speaker 1: that stuff. It's crazy, bro, It's just a whole other
- 22:30Speaker 1: level of performing. It teaches you, like I shouldna say
- 22:32Speaker 1: that has to really like you gotta cut your teeth
- 22:34Speaker 1: going into a crowd that's probably not there for what
- 22:36Speaker 1: you're bringing to the table. All arenas, uh. But our
- 22:40Speaker 1: song is one of their biggest songs ever, you know
- 22:42Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's probably I think it was the
- 22:44Speaker 1: fastest to reach the heights of you know what I'm saying.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I don't know, to the heights of eight, But that's
- 22:49Speaker 1: a big as hell, so they know who I am.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Like every time I performed it is roaring applause. It's crazy,
- 22:54Speaker 1: like just making sure like even the way I'm wrapping on,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I'm rapping super fast, so it's just like me doing
- 23:00Speaker 1: twenty six seconds of like and I'm out of there,
- 23:02Speaker 1: but they don't know. It helped me become a better performer.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I would say who reached out was someone in the
- 23:07Speaker 1: group that was just a fan of you, that was like, yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: like Dan Reynolds, he's the lead singer. I feel like
- 23:14Speaker 1: he was a fan. He told me that he was,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and it was done through the label. The label reached out,
- 23:19Speaker 1: though I think it was because of you. Fuck with me.
- 23:21Speaker 1: When people chop and they do the I feel like,
- 23:28Speaker 1: sometimes it's amazing. Sometimes there's guys like Ritz from Quinnett
- 23:33Speaker 1: County who could rap really fast and say incredible things.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Tech nine is really good at that. But then sometimes
- 23:39Speaker 1: it's like unbearable. It's it's like really unbearable, you know
- 23:43Speaker 1: what I actually, I'm just like this. I hate I
- 23:48Speaker 1: hate it though, like this is who I am. I can't,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't. Would you? Would you listen to your own album? Yes?
- 23:55Speaker 1: She is fire, Yes it's some nigga shit. Can't comment
- 23:59Speaker 1: on that, no idea what you're talking about. But and
- 24:03Speaker 1: I respected it all, but I it's kind of crazy.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't be like really delving into it. If I
- 24:08Speaker 1: notice is your niche. I don't think it's my niche.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I think I could just do it. I just do it,
- 24:13Speaker 1: like you know what I'm saying, effortlessly, effortless. I'm not
- 24:16Speaker 1: trying to rap like this. My name is jittery for
- 24:19Speaker 1: a reason because I'm just like my brain. But I
- 24:23Speaker 1: don't really aim for that style of music, right, or
- 24:27Speaker 1: I wouldn't even say rap is the first thing I
- 24:29Speaker 1: will play on in my car. Yeah. I feel like
- 24:32Speaker 1: Eminem for being like one of the greatest rappers of
- 24:34Speaker 1: all time. I don't like any raps like that. It's
- 24:38Speaker 1: not for me. What's current? Call too out? Now? Oh God?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Did you listen to Eminem growing up? I used to
- 24:48Speaker 1: love staying listen to He's a great first three albums,
- 24:53Speaker 1: like first three albums great, Yeah, yeah, all of the craziness. Yes,
- 24:56Speaker 1: that's the g unit ship that whole era. But I
- 24:58Speaker 1: was I wasn't like super am I like what it
- 25:02Speaker 1: was Eminem like super prominent two thousand and fucking two
- 25:06Speaker 1: until I mean no, no, technically like ninety nine, ninety eight,
- 25:12Speaker 1: ninety nine, un two and at this time I'm really
- 25:15Speaker 1: like at this age, I'm really like catching up on
- 25:17Speaker 1: I'm in a New Orleans sound. I'm really four hundred
- 25:20Speaker 1: degrees all of that. Hey, listen, let me tell you something.
- 25:23Speaker 1: You know what one of my favorite albums is of
- 25:25Speaker 1: all time? I got that work by the Big Timers. Wow,
- 25:28Speaker 1: that is bro id bro spoken about. You understand that
- 25:32Speaker 1: it wasn't on DSPs until like four months ago, and
- 25:35Speaker 1: now it's on fucking I don't know. There's a lot
- 25:37Speaker 1: of old cash money shit that's just in the air somewhere.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I'm looking for the member of the song on Tuesday
- 25:42Speaker 1: and Thursday, you gotta w I'm looking for the album
- 25:44Speaker 1: with that on it. I cannot find. It's like Tuesday
- 25:47Speaker 1: and Thursdays. It's like, uh, like the many Fresh first
- 25:51Speaker 1: solo album is not available. The Birdman album with what
- 25:54Speaker 1: Happened to That Boy? Was that? Do you remember that
- 25:56Speaker 1: artwork by the way, with the half Oh my god,
- 25:59Speaker 1: it's kind of crazy. It's so crazy to think that
- 26:02Speaker 1: that was like flying back there, like like those those
- 26:05Speaker 1: like old school Southern covers with the but that was
- 26:08Speaker 1: that one was egregious. The Birdman album cover was egregious.
- 26:11Speaker 1: It was insane, but I used to love them old
- 26:13Speaker 1: covers with like the How Boys Amazing or like the
- 26:16Speaker 1: Silk the Shocker charges to the game. I used to
- 26:19Speaker 1: never be the biggest slish Well he was a terrible
- 26:21Speaker 1: rap to him. I respected him because master p like
- 26:24Speaker 1: this your brother give. I think Silk the Shaker is
- 26:26Speaker 1: the best worst rapper of all time or or platinum.
- 26:30Speaker 1: He's the worst worst went platinum before streaming, so we
- 26:34Speaker 1: can't even hit him with that. And he was and
- 26:38Speaker 1: he was uh romantically involved with Maya in about in
- 26:41Speaker 1: ninety eight, so God bless him, salute kudos him and
- 26:45Speaker 1: Maya had some joints. Silk he was in a video
- 26:48Speaker 1: in a white jacket and on the snow slopes and
- 26:52Speaker 1: ship you know, early cash money was the best. Fuck
- 26:57Speaker 1: yeah bird, that's big timers though. That's the album Get
- 27:01Speaker 1: Your Role on Man, one of our favorite songs of
- 27:03Speaker 1: all time. Damn fucking man. I feel like they still
- 27:06Speaker 1: play that's in like commercials, right, I think? So? I
- 27:09Speaker 1: love that ship. Yeah. So this album, are we gonna
- 27:14Speaker 1: have another drop off in terms of just bodies of
- 27:17Speaker 1: work from you? Because you feel very intentional when you
- 27:19Speaker 1: drop music. See I've been working on like a couple
- 27:22Speaker 1: of albums in this time period. So we're gonna spend
- 27:24Speaker 1: the block again. You're gonna spend the block that's solo.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yeah what about I was like Spills the Village coming out? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: we definitely. I've been trying to like get us pushed
- 27:35Speaker 1: us in itation. I think we can get some We
- 27:38Speaker 1: just gotta find everybody's schedule and get together and do it.
- 27:40Speaker 1: A lot of moving parts, a lot of moving parts.
- 27:41Speaker 1: But I know it's uh another album. I know it's
- 27:45Speaker 1: damn near tour, Like we need to tour off of
- 27:48Speaker 1: these these probably we've been dropping. So yeah, yeah, I
- 27:50Speaker 1: definitely got a tour. Yeah yeah, I mean I feel
- 27:54Speaker 1: like with you, like your live because I've seen you
- 27:58Speaker 1: live before. I feel like the live aspect of what
- 28:01Speaker 1: you bring to the table is so important. Wasn't frustrating
- 28:03Speaker 1: and like not being able to perform hit the road? Yeah? Yeah,
- 28:07Speaker 1: of course that was. And it's like most artists made,
- 28:10Speaker 1: like mainstream of income is just torn and festivals and
- 28:14Speaker 1: merch and you know what I'm saying. Of course you
- 28:16Speaker 1: gonna see you may see some streaming money or whatever.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I guess you know how this shit works. But I
- 28:21Speaker 1: just know, like most of the artists, touring is the income,
- 28:23Speaker 1: so that shit probably hit people in different type of ways.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It ain't fucked me up too bad because I toured
- 28:28Speaker 1: the whole twenty nineteen, Like we did almost three hundred
- 28:31Speaker 1: shows in a year with three hundred and sixty five days.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, So you kind of got
- 28:36Speaker 1: a little bit out of your system. I got it,
- 28:38Speaker 1: I got it out. I did my major torn in
- 28:39Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, and twenty twenty was just like when everything
- 28:42Speaker 1: stopped in twenty one, everything came back and now we're here.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Did you ever catch the covid? Uh? Once? Once? Once?
- 28:49Speaker 1: It was a mild it was my maybe a few
- 28:51Speaker 1: days costs and sneeze. I was that bad. You know
- 28:54Speaker 1: what's crazy is like monkey Pock's not as deadly as COVID,
- 28:57Speaker 1: but everyone's a lot more freaked out because that ship
- 29:00Speaker 1: looks crazy. It looks that's how you know, how everybody is.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So everyone's so vain, they're like, I don't give a
- 29:07Speaker 1: fuck that once give me the ship that could kill me.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I try to look crazy. That is I didn't even
- 29:12Speaker 1: peep that, but that is I can't even post on
- 29:14Speaker 1: Instagram for how many months? What months? No? I mean,
- 29:16Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I don't Okay, it
- 29:18Speaker 1: just looks wild, ye like you low he can't leave
- 29:22Speaker 1: the house. You could leave the house with COVID. You're
- 29:24Speaker 1: a piece of shit if you did it. Yeah, it's
- 29:26Speaker 1: supers better, but you could and no one would know
- 29:31Speaker 1: that monkey pox. You're at the fucking gym with monkey pox. Motherfucker.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Don't call the police on you. Bro'n jesus yo, Uh,
- 29:42Speaker 1: give me some insight, man, obviously. Uh. Being signed to
- 29:46Speaker 1: Dreamville is the gift is amazing, right because I feel
- 29:50Speaker 1: like they are a label that has the highest uh
- 29:53Speaker 1: integrity when it comes to who they sign. I truly
- 29:55Speaker 1: believe that. I feel like calling Eve when they signed somebody.
- 29:58Speaker 1: It is never short sighted. It is all a ways.
- 30:00Speaker 1: First of all, they develop artists and they always see
- 30:04Speaker 1: the long play is the downside every interview you do,
- 30:06Speaker 1: so would ask you a Jake Cole question, by the way,
- 30:09Speaker 1: only Jake Cole question of the interview. No, No, I don't,
- 30:15Speaker 1: good guy, cool dude. Yeah, you ever played basketball? Like
- 30:18Speaker 1: y'all ever fucking I play one of the tours you
- 30:21Speaker 1: shout around like, got a little game going to the gym.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I feel like it was in Virginia kind of crazy
- 30:27Speaker 1: because huh, you got to throw that in there? Got
- 30:30Speaker 1: to well, yeah, I hooked around with him a little bit.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I ain't no really no football. I ain't no basketball
- 30:35Speaker 1: at all? What we played football with him before? Did
- 30:39Speaker 1: you play football in high school? Yeah? High school and college?
- 30:42Speaker 1: What were you play in college? Any school in Virginia? Way?
- 30:45Speaker 1: None of yep? What's your team Falcons? How you feeling?
- 30:52Speaker 1: How you feeling with Mariota? Is it Mariota? It is
- 30:56Speaker 1: Marioda And we got ridder Rider? Is somebody drafted? He
- 31:00Speaker 1: just came in. I feel like he would do Cincinnati.
- 31:02Speaker 1: They did Calvin really dirty or or I mean white white.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Let me ask you why you said that. First, he
- 31:12Speaker 1: gambled on a game that he had not I mean,
- 31:15Speaker 1: he shouldn't have gambled on the game. But he got
- 31:17Speaker 1: suspended for a year, a whole year. And Deshaun Watson's
- 31:20Speaker 1: out here getting the habitual rubbed downs and got six
- 31:23Speaker 1: six games. Does the NFL hate women? You'll not say.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I can't say that. Think about ray Rice, Kareem Hunt, easy,
- 31:33Speaker 1: Kareem Hunt, Ezekiel Elliott. All those motherfuckers played like he
- 31:37Speaker 1: would know Ezekiel Elliot ship was what minimal mine got.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Calvin really bet on a game and it wasn't even
- 31:46Speaker 1: I don't think think it was like anything crazy a
- 31:50Speaker 1: whole year. Bro fucked up my fantasy ship. Bro, Oh
- 31:55Speaker 1: that's your beat. Let's get you play the root of it.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Do you play fantasy foot I did it the first
- 32:01Speaker 1: time last year. I think I don't know if I'm
- 32:04Speaker 1: a good GM I would be a better coach. I
- 32:06Speaker 1: thought I'd be good at it because I know personnel
- 32:07Speaker 1: and players and shit, but it's more of about like this.
- 32:11Speaker 1: It takes up a lot of time. Couldn't do it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: So I lost it on What was the draft? Like?
- 32:15Speaker 1: Did you have an in person draft? Because because my
- 32:17Speaker 1: favorite part that falling ship. The best part about fantasy
- 32:20Speaker 1: football is when you get together with your friends and
- 32:23Speaker 1: you just say just domeaning things to them, canceble things
- 32:27Speaker 1: even you know, while you're in the same room you
- 32:31Speaker 1: got the fucking easel with the fucking thing and you're
- 32:33Speaker 1: writing the fucking things down. There's wings, there's beer, you know,
- 32:36Speaker 1: and then you know when someone drafts like I just
- 32:40Speaker 1: love just just putting down my best friends. It's actually
- 32:44Speaker 1: my favorite thing to do when they pick a yeah,
- 32:47Speaker 1: like what the fuck are you doing? Or some new
- 32:49Speaker 1: motherfucker who picks like a kicker in like the ninth round,
- 32:51Speaker 1: and I'm like, bro, you know you could have just
- 32:53Speaker 1: waited until the end for that. Give them the time.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Why do you have three defenses? Like what's going on?
- 32:59Speaker 1: That's yeah, yeah, shout out to the fact. I'm a
- 33:02Speaker 1: Cardinals fan. So she's harry for us right now because
- 33:04Speaker 1: Kyler Murray seems to be you know, he got paid,
- 33:07Speaker 1: thank god, hopefully now it's behind us because they put
- 33:10Speaker 1: the clause in his contract where he has to study.
- 33:13Speaker 1: That's racism. That's pure blatant racism. Ah. You know what
- 33:22Speaker 1: I love the NFL with. There's some moral things I
- 33:26Speaker 1: can't even really stand with that. The black man can't
- 33:28Speaker 1: even really have to like the shun he's a different thing.
- 33:33Speaker 1: But I think I think that Shawn just all these
- 33:37Speaker 1: black quarterbacks and stuff like that, Like they're trying to
- 33:39Speaker 1: give them a little claust and stuff like that, right right, right, right,
- 33:41Speaker 1: that's I think that Deshaun Watson is probably just a
- 33:47Speaker 1: single man. I kind of don't even want to talk
- 33:48Speaker 1: about him. Well, I was disgusting me for I don't
- 33:51Speaker 1: even you know, he might just like a rubbing tug.
- 33:55Speaker 1: He might just love to get the tug, you know
- 33:57Speaker 1: what I mean? Hey, when what's the owner of the Patriots,
- 34:02Speaker 1: Robert Kraft? Robert Kraft. They got photos of him believing
- 34:10Speaker 1: I don't need meat meal coming from me, but Robert Kraft. No,
- 34:15Speaker 1: but listen, Robert Craft, there's fucking pictures of him leaving
- 34:18Speaker 1: the Robin tug. They couldn't, they couldn't. They didn't even
- 34:21Speaker 1: suspend him. Let me tell you a funny story, crazy story.
- 34:24Speaker 1: So at the Grammys, we sit next to Robert Craft. Oh,
- 34:29Speaker 1: we tell them we focus from Atlanta. Brug tapsis whatever
- 34:34Speaker 1: is holder. He pulled out the ring eighty three dimes
- 34:40Speaker 1: because we lost twenty eight twenty eight to three. Was
- 34:43Speaker 1: no, no no, no, you guys yeah yea yeah yeah, three diamonds.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Homies just poured it down. Robert Craft did that, his homie.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I was like, yo, wait wait wait, so he was traveling.
- 34:58Speaker 1: It wasn't even on a spring dick. It was on dick.
- 35:00Speaker 1: So you just had a guy holding the Super Bowl rings.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I'll never forget it. Bro. Imagine that's your gig. Like, Yo,
- 35:06Speaker 1: your job one hundred thousand a year is I give
- 35:09Speaker 1: you six bends or six six figures. You just got
- 35:12Speaker 1: to carry the rings. And when some random piece of
- 35:14Speaker 1: shit sports fan comes up to me, pull them boys out, Rob.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I called him Rob, like you're my boy. Rob looked
- 35:20Speaker 1: at us, he was like, this is the ring? What

- 37:09Speaker 1: My daughter Zack Fox posted it on his page, and
- 37:11Speaker 1: he needs hilarious. He's crazy, he's so funny. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

- 37:20Speaker 1: one of them. He's you know what I'm saying, said,
- 37:22Speaker 1: that's what you were talking about earlier. Not a commodity.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Not here to be your commodity, bro, one hundred percent.
- 37:26Speaker 1: He's gonna do what he wants when he wants to
- 37:27Speaker 1: do it, when it feels good. It feels good. The
- 37:32Speaker 1: cock ring is outside. That shit is amazing. Nigg is
- 37:35Speaker 1: in twenty fifty right now, he said, twenty Can you
- 37:38Speaker 1: imagine if you are the guy that spends twenty five
- 37:40Speaker 1: thousand dollars on that, Like, imagine how rich you gotta
- 37:42Speaker 1: be to be like that's called twenty five thousand, twenty
- 37:44Speaker 1: five thousand, do getting No, don't get one. That's weird.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Why not a cock ring? I feel that it's a weird. Lady,
- 37:51Speaker 1: you're just going on with it, right. I'm not sure.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I'm not sure it's being marketed for the you know,
- 37:58Speaker 1: for the guys with the stop let's stop stop listen
- 38:02Speaker 1: the album. The album is out right now you have
- 38:07Speaker 1: a crazy obviously. The features on this little Wayne twenty one, Savage,
- 38:12Speaker 1: James Blake, fucking wild, also fucking huge in the Caucasian world,
- 38:20Speaker 1: the Mountains of Caucasia. They love James break Baby taits
- 38:25Speaker 1: on the project. Boss, you got the CEO rapping someone
- 38:30Speaker 1: hits play on this. What's the first song? Like, let's
- 38:32Speaker 1: say I can only listen to one song? What would
- 38:35Speaker 1: be your your choice? Like, yo, you gotta go. This
- 38:38Speaker 1: is the one record on here that you should go
- 38:39Speaker 1: straight to if you can only listen to one. Uh
- 38:42Speaker 1: brenter in It's okay featuring Dirk, Okay, it's crazy fire. Yeah,
- 38:47Speaker 1: we got Dirk and like, you know, you know what
- 38:50Speaker 1: I'm saying. We got Tom brought him to my world.
- 38:51Speaker 1: You got Dirk, Like really, it ain't like it's just
- 38:55Speaker 1: it's my world, you know what I'm saying. So a
- 38:57Speaker 1: bunch of different things conna be melodic, it would be
- 38:59Speaker 1: like some rap shit. Yeah, he likes some turn ship.
- 39:01Speaker 1: But I just did something that I ain't think a
- 39:04Speaker 1: lot of people would expect and he went so crazy
- 39:07Speaker 1: bro like spoke about ship. You know what I'm saying
- 39:09Speaker 1: personal ship, and it just kind of moved me. I'm like, oh,
- 39:12Speaker 1: you really like the voice. That's literally everything he says,
- 39:15Speaker 1: and that's what they say. Before you get out of here,
- 39:18Speaker 1: can you shout out any up and coming mcs that
- 39:20Speaker 1: you're just a fan of that you really feel like
- 39:22Speaker 1: are maybe flying under the radar a bit. You want
- 39:25Speaker 1: to shut something on h let me say, okay from Elena,
- 39:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna say my dog Marco. Plus. I don't know
- 39:34Speaker 1: if it's still upcoming, but I think mill is like amazing,
- 39:37Speaker 1: she's crazy, and she's on the new Race Shimmer single.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah the community community dick right, Yeah, he had to
- 39:47Speaker 1: finish it up. I left it up there. It's not
- 39:51Speaker 1: community college. Can you imagine, if imagine if Race Shimmer
- 39:56Speaker 1: had a record called community College. I would love to
- 39:58Speaker 1: hear with that. I stream that ship right away. Funny thing,
- 40:02Speaker 1: funny thing, I was listening to Black beatles. This ship
- 40:04Speaker 1: popped in my head. I was listening to the other
- 40:06Speaker 1: Day classic been age so well in the club, my
- 40:10Speaker 1: twin twins say, Fred Girls, still trying to say it
- 40:15Speaker 1: frat girls, Fred Fraternity. He's supposed to alreaty, but that's
- 40:20Speaker 1: just a little inside. I just thought about it, but
- 40:22Speaker 1: that's my dog. So they could do a community college thing.
- 40:26Speaker 1: They could. The Niggas whole brand is like college fun,
- 40:31Speaker 1: community good good good sitcom. By the way, Chevy Chase,
- 40:36Speaker 1: Donald Donald Glover. Last question, you said you're big on movies.
- 40:43Speaker 1: You're very much in tune with the with with with movies, acting,
- 40:47Speaker 1: et cetera. Give me your three movies. If you're on
- 40:52Speaker 1: an island, you can only take three movies with you.
- 40:54Speaker 1: What are the what are the flicks were taken? Man?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Mm hmm, all right, so we're gonna go Roots. Okay, Roots,
- 41:06Speaker 1: of course I'm talking about Yes, it's like so many
- 41:08Speaker 1: of them. That's a crazy choice, crazy choice to take
- 41:12Speaker 1: on an island. I'm sure watching just be mad all day. Roots.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I'm down with that because if I'm on the island,
- 41:19Speaker 1: would rather be mad, right yeah, because it's motivated to
- 41:22Speaker 1: get off the island. Okay, fair enough, Yeah, so we
- 41:24Speaker 1: go Roots. You know ti I was in the Roots.
- 41:26Speaker 1: They upgraded the movie. The movie came out of like
- 41:28Speaker 1: nineteen sixth We know t I was in when it
- 41:30Speaker 1: came out of like twenty eleven or something about to
- 41:32Speaker 1: say he was a slave it's got crazy. But he
- 41:35Speaker 1: was talking like t I of today. You gotta see it,
- 41:38Speaker 1: you gotta see it. It was amazing. So he was
- 41:41Speaker 1: hitting like with the ill the TI is killing that ship,
- 41:45Speaker 1: but slave clothes. It was outside outside. But I would
- 41:48Speaker 1: bring roots and I would try to bring that version too,
- 41:50Speaker 1: because TI is crazy. I didn't even know there was
- 41:52Speaker 1: this version that's like you know that. Did you know
- 41:54Speaker 1: there's a Belly too? Yeah, with the game terrible movie.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I watched horrible movies and great movies all the time. Belly,
- 42:02Speaker 1: Belly post yours up above you. It's the best worst
- 42:04Speaker 1: movie ever. It's such a great movie. I don't know
- 42:10Speaker 1: if I agree with that. It's so many epic movie,
- 42:12Speaker 1: epic parts in that movie that's classic in our culture.
- 42:15Speaker 1: That no. But storyline, no, no, I agree. Storyline Like,
- 42:18Speaker 1: as a kid, it's like my favorite fucking movie. But
- 42:20Speaker 1: I grow up and I'm like, every time I rewatched Belly,
- 42:22Speaker 1: I'm like, god, damn, this storyline was terrible. Boy. Listen,
- 42:27Speaker 1: motherfucking the dude in Nebraska eating the banana, That's what
- 42:31Speaker 1: did that. That's what popped off. D MX career is
- 42:34Speaker 1: acting right? Was this before m already was already him.
- 42:38Speaker 1: He was already him. Okay, number one album I did see.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I'm talking about As far as acting though, was he
- 42:43Speaker 1: acting before this? Was this one of his first rose
- 42:47Speaker 1: that got him into Romeos Exit Wounds? Was this? This
- 42:51Speaker 1: was first? Yeah, that's what I mean. I think that
- 42:54Speaker 1: what it didn't do was kick off NAS's acting career
- 42:56Speaker 1: because he was god awful in It's It's like you
- 43:00Speaker 1: you just gotta get out of here. He was talking
- 43:02Speaker 1: to Oh, my god, we just gotta make it. I
- 43:08Speaker 1: don't want to go to Africa. My god, t I
- 43:12Speaker 1: was or navs was? It was not the Uh. He
- 43:15Speaker 1: had no rules after day nonhing, none that we though about. Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 1: he was in a movie called Ticker. I swear this
- 43:22Speaker 1: is a straight to DVD like movie where he was
- 43:24Speaker 1: in the movie for like two minutes and then they
- 43:27Speaker 1: kill him. But you know, back in the day, they
- 43:28Speaker 1: used to put rappers in movies so they couldut him
- 43:30Speaker 1: on the artworks that people would rented and buy it.
- 43:31Speaker 1: And I was the one who would rent in and
- 43:32Speaker 1: buy it. And he was He was in it for
- 43:35Speaker 1: two minutes. Wasn't Diddy and muscle Ball for two minutes? Yeah,
- 43:40Speaker 1: he was in prison by the way, raised the song
- 43:46Speaker 1: was listening made made with with Vince fun Wow. But
- 43:54Speaker 1: Monsters Ball all time one of the all time best
- 43:57Speaker 1: nude scenes. Yeah see, I got a problem with the
- 44:00Speaker 1: white guy part of it. I got a black problem
- 44:03Speaker 1: with some Yeah, I get it, but I guess I
- 44:08Speaker 1: get it. Billy Bob, Billy Bob was handling it. Billy Coat,
- 44:11Speaker 1: the coat, the head coach for Friday Night Lights. Yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 1: my sling blade, Billy Bob throwing well yeah, yeah yeah,
- 44:18Speaker 1: the Harry Paul Hey Paul, Yeah, yeah, that was him.
- 44:22Speaker 1: That was great, bro. I just appeared problem with that
- 44:25Speaker 1: and bass. Yeah yeah, I can't, I can't. I was
- 44:27Speaker 1: halle Berry is a kill Bob not sick. So that
- 44:29Speaker 1: was the second movie, not Sexy Man, second movie all
- 44:32Speaker 1: time halle Berry's breasts were exposed. The first one was
- 44:34Speaker 1: Swordfish with Hugh Jackman and John Bolta. Yes, I had
- 44:39Speaker 1: it on VHS and I broke the tape because I
- 44:41Speaker 1: paused on her tis so much. That is savage. So
- 44:44Speaker 1: you got a little scratch on it. Oh yeah, I
- 44:47Speaker 1: was like, sup A drink off this anymore? All right?
- 44:49Speaker 1: You got two more movies and then you get the
- 44:51Speaker 1: funk out of here before we cancel. Yeah, we're having fun.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Two more movies. You got Roots, both versions, the t
- 44:57Speaker 1: I version. Yeah, so that's all one. It's always Roots. Yes, boom,
- 45:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go Avengers, the end in
- 45:05Speaker 1: Game Ship Okay yeah, wait, endgame is the part one
- 45:10Speaker 1: of the when they when Daniels, when they're done, when
- 45:13Speaker 1: they get cooked right now, when they come back. I
- 45:15Speaker 1: don't know. I thought it's all the same kind of right,
- 45:17Speaker 1: don't they I'll be confused. So one of them niggas
- 45:20Speaker 1: one of the movies, and I'm gonna go Apocalypto. Apocalypto. Yeah, wow,
- 45:25Speaker 1: it's a variety there. Apocalypto doesn't really have any like,
- 45:29Speaker 1: isn't it like in like they're like in the jungle
- 45:32Speaker 1: and there's Yeah, there's male gets in my end yep.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Mel Gibson, had he not been such a piece of ship,
- 45:38Speaker 1: one of the best directors. Amazing. He actually did that
- 45:41Speaker 1: Jesus film too as well. Trust me, I'm a fucking
- 45:44Speaker 1: I'm in high school on a date watching the fucking
- 45:46Speaker 1: what's that ship called the Jesus Ship? It's crazy? What
- 45:48Speaker 1: was it called Passion of the Christ and I'm atheist.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I don't give a funk about Jesus, but he made
- 45:55Speaker 1: me give a fuck. Don't say that he made me
- 45:58Speaker 1: care man. That was crazy right there. I'm a god
- 46:03Speaker 1: fear man. I respect your right to be a god
- 46:07Speaker 1: fearing man. I fear like my kids dying or something.
- 46:11Speaker 1: You know, I have children. I fear them getting sick.
- 46:14Speaker 1: I fear aliens in the ocean. There's you know, have
- 46:23Speaker 1: you ever done psychedelics? You know you're enough fucking psychedelics,
- 46:27Speaker 1: you will believe you'll how about something there some inclination?
- 46:31Speaker 1: How about this? I think, more recently, since I've been
- 46:33Speaker 1: a little bit more awakened on the psychedelic tip, maybe
- 46:39Speaker 1: I'm not an atheist. But I tell you what, I
- 46:41Speaker 1: just do you believe in something? I tell you this.
- 46:44Speaker 1: I don't believe in any man made religion. I think
- 46:47Speaker 1: it's all a way to control populations, control poor people,
- 46:52Speaker 1: and it's big business and it's some of the most
- 46:54Speaker 1: corrupt hypocrisy of all time. You know what I'm saying. So, yeah,
- 46:59Speaker 1: I guess that's my stand. I would you I'm more
- 47:01Speaker 1: of a I don't know, Yeah, but I've lived in
- 47:04Speaker 1: a haunted house. So if I've lived in a haunted house.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Then that means that there's some other ship called on
- 47:08Speaker 1: do you do? What do you mean he lived in
- 47:10Speaker 1: a haunted house lived I lived in a house I was.
- 47:13Speaker 1: I know it was on it. Bro We fucking wake
- 47:14Speaker 1: up in the middle of the night and all the
- 47:15Speaker 1: pots and pans would be out and all the doors
- 47:17Speaker 1: would be open. Crazy thing. I bought a house and renovated, Renny.
- 47:22Speaker 1: They had a funeral or a wake, Okay, you know
- 47:24Speaker 1: what I'm saying. They showed him and I was always
- 47:26Speaker 1: thinking about stuff I did, so he kind of freaked
- 47:28Speaker 1: me out. You said it. No, for sure, it was.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Our house was over a Native American graveyard, so it's
- 47:34Speaker 1: pretty fucking wild. The house that I during this era, though,
- 47:37Speaker 1: my dad was smoking cracks, so it could have just
- 47:38Speaker 1: put him in the middle of the night opened up,
- 47:41Speaker 1: who knows. I don't know. Sure then it was never noticeable,
- 47:46Speaker 1: you know, like he was like very functional, you know
- 47:48Speaker 1: what I mean. And I think he just had his
- 47:50Speaker 1: little bouts with it. But me and my me and
- 47:51Speaker 1: my best friends and liked the army anything. No no
- 47:53Speaker 1: no, no no, no, no no. But me and my best
- 47:56Speaker 1: friend ramses uh we were. He's like, yes, of Egypt,
- 48:00Speaker 1: It's my best friend in the world. Rams is jar
- 48:03Speaker 1: Rudy King Taylor. This do you like President Egypt the movie? Yeah?
- 48:05Speaker 1: Good cartoon, keep going. So, uh we're like Thick and
- 48:10Speaker 1: masterpiek ghetto dope era of Like my childhood, I had
- 48:13Speaker 1: a no limit chain. I shoplifted a no limit clothing
- 48:17Speaker 1: jersey from mister Rags, you know. And I'm going through
- 48:20Speaker 1: my dad's drawer next to his bed. I forget what
- 48:23Speaker 1: me and Rams, I'm from Phoenix, Phoenix Hot place the cracks,
- 48:28Speaker 1: and we found crack and my boy Ramas pulled it
- 48:31Speaker 1: out and he was like, yo, this is the ghetto
- 48:33Speaker 1: d Ship said, he's like smoking crack. What the fuck? Ship?
- 48:39Speaker 1: But but but outside of that, and then my mom
- 48:42Speaker 1: later on telling me, yeah, your dad smoke crack every
- 48:44Speaker 1: once in a while for a little bit. But I
- 48:45Speaker 1: never noticed it as a kid. It wasn't like he
- 48:47Speaker 1: was like my dad was like a really hard working dudey.
- 48:49Speaker 1: He worked like NonStop. So he was probably the most
- 48:51Speaker 1: functional crackheut of all time, one of them at least
- 48:53Speaker 1: m HM lots of functional drug drug users. Anyway, Well, listen, man,
- 48:58Speaker 1: this was fun. Likewise, bro, uh, I'm happier putting a
