Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod, which Teddy Mellencamp and Cambridge Edge.
- 0:11Speaker 2: All right, guys, welcome to another episode of TWATS Flashback,
- 0:17Speaker 2: flash Back.
- 0:18Speaker 3: It makes me a flash dance.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I've got to say the fact that The Real Housewives
- 0:23Speaker 1: of Orange County continued on with what season.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Are we on right now?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Cham seventeen seventeen additional seasons after this one is mind blowing.
- 0:35Speaker 3: You have to keep in mind that it was the
- 0:37Speaker 3: very first franchise Bravo knew that they had a hit.
- 0:41Speaker 3: It was sold to Bravo, which obviously changed the name.
- 0:44Speaker 3: We're supposed to Behind the Gates or something like that,
- 0:47Speaker 3: and they changed it. It changed. When I got on,
- 0:51Speaker 3: it was really as you have you seen. It's like
- 0:53Speaker 3: the girls are all doing their separate things and hanging
- 0:55Speaker 3: out with different friends. They're not hanging out really together
- 0:57Speaker 3: that much. They didn't even really know each other. And
- 1:00Speaker 3: this the first of the third and fourth is like
- 1:03Speaker 3: Gina meets Joe, and it's really it's really different. Now.
- 1:08Speaker 1: The other thing that I find odd is that I
- 1:10Speaker 1: when I was watching the show, I thought at different
- 1:13Speaker 1: times something was mentally happening to me because they kept
- 1:16Speaker 1: playing this background music during the show.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Oh the porn music.
- 1:22Speaker 2: As I'm listening to it. Multiple times I had to
- 1:24Speaker 2: pause the show because I was like, is someone playing
- 1:27Speaker 2: music in my house? Isn't it so weird?
- 1:29Speaker 3: How about the confessionals? There were no confessionals at that time.
- 1:33Speaker 3: It wasn't a green screen. There was no hair and makeup. Literally,
- 1:36Speaker 3: they would take you to the side after you were
- 1:38Speaker 3: filming and they'd be like, how do you feel about that?
- 1:41Speaker 3: How do you feel about that? But one thing that
- 1:43Speaker 3: I did notice in one scene where Joe was doing
- 1:47Speaker 3: whatever she was doing her little confessional, was in a
- 1:52Speaker 3: different outfit.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but I feel like Slade had her do
- 1:57Speaker 1: outfit changes a lot.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Maybe costume changes.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Costume changes, But I need I have a question before
- 2:03Speaker 1: we even get into episode three and four.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Is Joe hammered this entire time?
- 2:10Speaker 3: Things like it?
- 2:11Speaker 2: I just can't wrap my head around.
- 2:13Speaker 3: She's like twenty three years old and she's with a
- 2:16Speaker 3: guy that's fifteen years older than her. He's got a
- 2:19Speaker 3: couple of kids from another marriage.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I wonder how long we should have asked her how
- 2:24Speaker 3: long were they dating before they started the show.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Well, I don't know.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I feel like, if I was married to Slade, I'd
- 2:32Speaker 1: probably have to be pretty tipsy too.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But yeah, there was actually times on one of these episodes.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I can't remember what t one it is. We'll get
- 2:40Speaker 3: to it where I'm like, oh my god, is Slade likable?
- 2:44Speaker 3: When Joe's out drinking and he's at home with his kids.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I never found him, and then I thought, no, I
- 2:51Speaker 2: couldn't forget the other scene.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and then he goes on to be you know, Slade.
- 2:57Speaker 1: All right, so we start off this is synopsis of
- 3:00Speaker 1: this episode.
- 3:01Speaker 2: We hope that you guys are watching long because we
- 3:05Speaker 2: shouldn't be having to do this alone. We had all
- 3:07Speaker 2: of your support, thoughts, questions, concerned.
- 3:10Speaker 3: But it is interesting the evolution of the show and
- 3:12Speaker 3: how it started out just being so simple and then
- 3:15Speaker 3: what it is today.
- 3:17Speaker 1: There are parts that I really loved, Like there's real
- 3:19Speaker 1: moments that you don't get now on Housewives, like even
- 3:22Speaker 1: watching Don digging around looking for his fires extinguisher. Yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and like actually getting mad at Vicky, Like.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's that's like husband and wife stuff that actually happens
- 3:33Speaker 2: that I don't feel like the show really captures anymore
- 3:35Speaker 2: because everybody's so buttoned.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Up or worried, worried about about what they say, and
- 3:40Speaker 1: they do right, but that moment, you know, he's.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Like, shut up.
- 3:43Speaker 2: You know, I'm looking the cops standing or the security.
- 3:47Speaker 3: It was a cop.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It was actually a cop, and she's blurting with them.
- 3:50Speaker 2: But okay.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Anyways, Shane visits a college in Arizona. Kara passes time
- 3:56Speaker 1: by spending money. Vicky and Laurie get a botox treatment,
- 3:59Speaker 1: which are we I believe that was the first botox treatment,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and then VICKI worries that Lourie isn't dedicated enough to
- 4:06Speaker 1: her career.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Well, what cracks me up is Lourie's like, I don't
- 4:09Speaker 3: I'm not going to get a day over thirty two
- 4:11Speaker 3: as if she was thirty two years old. I'm pretty
- 4:13Speaker 3: sure she was forty five at that moment. But it's
- 4:16Speaker 3: funny just that the film quality is so grainy and
- 4:19Speaker 3: so bad, and I mean, they've definitely come a long
- 4:23Speaker 3: ways since two thousand and six.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean the Kardashian filters and full effect.
- 4:28Speaker 3: How old were you in two thousand and six?
- 4:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm not good at math, Damra, Can
- 4:32Speaker 2: you go ahead and do it? I was born in
- 4:34Speaker 2: nineteen eighty one. Twenty five, Yeah, twenty five.
- 4:38Speaker 3: But did you notice that a tagline was taken out
- 4:44Speaker 3: of this episode?
- 4:46Speaker 2: I did, but now I can't remember what it was.
- 4:48Speaker 3: It was Vicky saying her tagline, I don't want to
- 4:50Speaker 3: get old. It was during her botox treatment. They used
- 4:53Speaker 3: that as her tagline.
- 4:55Speaker 2: But also the taglines weren't even taglines because they were
- 4:57Speaker 2: like a half of a sentence.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm I remember when I did my tagline the
- 5:03Speaker 3: first season, I'm the hottest house wife. Anyways, it was
- 5:06Speaker 3: something joking, hold on, what calm down?
- 5:10Speaker 2: What was your first I.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Think my first one was I'm the hottest house wife
- 5:14Speaker 3: in Orange County. You're lying, No, no, it was actually
- 5:17Speaker 3: a joke that was said while filming, and they used
- 5:22Speaker 3: it as a tagline, I'm sorry, Thank you, guys, thank.
- 5:26Speaker 2: You, I'm sorry with us in Barson.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I know, I remember Simon going, oh, you're gonna regret that.
- 5:31Speaker 3: You're going to regret that, and I'm like, please, I're
- 5:33Speaker 3: not going to show that it was literally a joke,
- 5:36Speaker 3: but oh well, oh well, oh well. Well.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It starts out when Vicky talks about how much skinnier
- 5:43Speaker 1: and prettier Lauria is than her. VICKI has shown getting
- 5:46Speaker 1: botox for the first time.
- 5:48Speaker 3: The first time.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I'm finding that hard to believe. Well, that's that's what
- 5:52Speaker 1: I was curious about. So I was twenty five in
- 5:54Speaker 1: two thousand and six.
- 5:55Speaker 2: We just learned. So I don't think I had got
- 6:00Speaker 2: I don't I think I got botox when I was
- 6:02Speaker 2: twenty eight for the first time, which is those of
- 6:04Speaker 2: you who are listening are probably like, what the hell,
- 6:06Speaker 2: why did you get botox at twenty eight? But I
- 6:07Speaker 2: remember somebody telling.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Me it was preventative, and I like saved up like
- 6:12Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I was so excited to get my first botox treatment.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I was the thirties when I got my first botox
- 6:18Speaker 3: treatment because I was pregnant prior to that when people
- 6:23Speaker 3: were starting to get it, and I was pregnant at
- 6:25Speaker 3: like I think, I want to say, like thirty and
- 6:28Speaker 3: thirty three, So I was after I had Spencer.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Do you think that me and Vicky would get along
- 6:35Speaker 1: better if we bonded over a nice botox session.
- 6:39Speaker 3: No, let's be honest.
- 6:43Speaker 1: No, No, okay, Then Joe and Slade are at another
- 6:48Speaker 1: couple's house for drinks. Joe corrects herself in a conversation,
- 6:52Speaker 1: saying a Questrian center. Slade says, we call these joeisms.
- 6:57Speaker 1: There are certain things that are obvious to the calmon folk,
- 7:01Speaker 1: and for Joe, Joe's from Peru, so many things escape her. Then,
- 7:06Speaker 1: Joe says, you know she's upset because essentially her fiance
- 7:10Speaker 1: calls her dumb right.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Question, Yeah, no worry.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I've only met slave one time and he was nice. Yeah,
- 7:21Speaker 2: well he was nice to me. He didn't seem like
- 7:24Speaker 2: he was It's.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Not about being nice or mean. It's the douche level.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Well, that's so like passive aggressive, And I don't even
- 7:34Speaker 1: know is it passive aggressive. It's just like condescending. That's
- 7:37Speaker 1: the word I was looking for, just condescending. But is
- 7:40Speaker 1: he condescending in nature to everyone or just the women
- 7:43Speaker 1: he's with?
- 7:44Speaker 3: I have no idea. I feel like he was trying
- 7:47Speaker 3: to control Joe and wanting to, you know, make the
- 7:53Speaker 3: money and make sure she stays home. But it seems
- 7:55Speaker 3: like in his relationship with Gretchen he wants Gretchen to
- 7:58Speaker 3: make the money so he can stay home. Well, I
- 8:01Speaker 3: think I think it's pretty offensive to just people in Peru.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Like that would not fly today. But things that were
- 8:06Speaker 3: said way back then, like ten, fifteen years ago, whatever,
- 8:10Speaker 3: seventeen years ago would not land well now. So it's
- 8:15Speaker 3: times have changed and we've all, you know, smartened up.
- 8:19Speaker 1: The whole entire time I'm watching them, I'm curious, how
- 8:22Speaker 1: did these two even end up together?
- 8:24Speaker 3: I know we should have asked her, We should have
- 8:27Speaker 3: asked Joe.
- 8:27Speaker 1: When we had her on well, but she DMed me
- 8:29Speaker 1: so I should I'll just ask her and then I'll
- 8:31Speaker 1: fill you guys in on the well.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Next time we're in La. She wants to hang out,
- 8:35Speaker 3: so I told her absolutely. So slaid at the questioning
- 8:38Speaker 3: center when he ran into Brett, which was a big
- 8:41Speaker 3: mortgage guy back in the day. I don't know if
- 8:43Speaker 3: he still is, but he comes with cameras and acting
- 8:46Speaker 3: like hey, nice to run into you. I mean, it
- 8:49Speaker 3: was like so staged in.
- 8:52Speaker 2: But also, wouldn't Brett have known in advance if they
- 8:55Speaker 2: were and they need permits back then, or of course.
- 8:59Speaker 3: They did he and how did he know Brett was there?
- 9:02Speaker 3: You know? Brett was Mike like all these things like hey,
- 9:05Speaker 3: fancy meeting you here? Remember me I did a meeting
- 9:08Speaker 3: in your office, and then Brett explaining his pool in
- 9:13Speaker 3: his backyard, and this is flown in Italy in Paris
- 9:16Speaker 3: and d D. This was so typical of the guys
- 9:20Speaker 3: in mortgage in two thousand and eight.
- 9:22Speaker 2: But was that is that a questrian center right next
- 9:25Speaker 2: to where I show?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Is that now that's actually the old equestrian center?
- 9:28Speaker 2: Is that coded a caaza? That's what I thought? Yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 2: I was like, I'd been there, okay.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, And actually that the clubhouse that they're filming in
- 9:35Speaker 3: is not even a clubhouse anymore. It's like a party
- 9:38Speaker 3: rental place. The clubhouse is like newer and nicer and
- 9:41Speaker 3: all that.
- 9:42Speaker 2: And I realized that now we're gonna we could jump around,
- 9:45Speaker 2: but I kind of just want to stay on the
- 9:46Speaker 2: Joe Enslade stuff for a minute. So you just clear
- 9:48Speaker 2: that up, okay.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So then she goes to Joe ends up meeting Brett's
- 9:53Speaker 1: wife to go riding. This is another one of those
- 9:56Speaker 1: things where I just don't understand why Joe would I
- 10:00Speaker 1: think she should wear high heels to go riding.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I also can't believe that.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They were allowed to show that these women were all
- 10:10Speaker 1: riding drinking Margarita's without a helmet on why.
- 10:13Speaker 2: They didn't even have saddles? I was gonna ask bareback riding.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I mean, I know that has multiple meanings, so yeah, right,
- 10:20Speaker 1: it is what it is. But bare back riding without
- 10:25Speaker 1: a helmet while drinking alcohol are all things that I
- 10:30Speaker 1: I mean, you can't. When we were in Berlin for
- 10:32Speaker 1: Beverly Hills and we rode those horses, we had to
- 10:36Speaker 1: sign like fifty seven waivers.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Like, well, things were different back then, so different. Yeah
- 10:44Speaker 3: to me, I'm like, wait, why don't they have saddles?
- 10:46Speaker 3: It seems like it be harder to ride without a saddle.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Why are they drinking? Why don't they have helmets? Like
- 10:52Speaker 3: that would never fly nowadays. The safety on the show
- 10:55Speaker 3: would safety coordinator would be like, no way, nope.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I I'm surprised the safety coordinator coordinator
- 11:03Speaker 2: didn't step in on your recent episode of Orange County
- 11:06Speaker 2: when your guide's balls were hanging out of his pants.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Well, you know, we didn't know it didn't. It wasn't
- 11:12Speaker 3: the entire time. It was towards the end.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Well, I split up my water when Taylor says, I
- 11:18Speaker 1: wish said sort of something other for lunch like spaghetti
- 11:22Speaker 1: and him meet.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Oh they didn't show it all. We all were making
- 11:26Speaker 3: comments like that. They cut them all out except for Taylor's.
- 11:29Speaker 3: So it was hilarious. And then then I found out
- 11:33Speaker 3: you know Shane that works with Jeff Lewis, Yeah, that's
- 11:37Speaker 3: his cousin. K Dog is Shane's cousin.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Okay, we need to ask I need to ask a
- 11:44Speaker 2: lot of questions of Shane and the balls and all.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Well, when I saw Shane at Brabo Cohan, he goes,
- 11:50Speaker 3: oh my god, my cousin said he filmed with you.
- 11:52Speaker 3: He's so excited. I go, oh. I'm like, oh, well,
- 11:56Speaker 3: I hope he doesn't have a TV. And that's when
- 11:58Speaker 3: he goes, no, he livesened to ten on the side
- 12:00Speaker 3: of the river and I got our lake and I go, well,
- 12:03Speaker 3: his balls were hanging out. He goes, oh my god,
- 12:07Speaker 3: so good.
- 12:08Speaker 1: All right, Well, we got to get back to Vicky
- 12:11Speaker 1: and Laurie's trip to New Orleans for a business trip.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Vicky stays at the Windsor Court Hotel while Laurie is
- 12:19Speaker 1: staying at a they said, lesser priced hotel because she
- 12:22Speaker 1: can't afford it, and Vicky thinks that Laurie needs to
- 12:26Speaker 1: pay her dues to see I know.
- 12:28Speaker 3: So it's like Vicky checking into Windsor Courts with her sister,
- 12:32Speaker 3: and then it was Laurie checking into Crappy Lake hotel
- 12:35Speaker 3: is basically what it was. It was such a shithole.
- 12:37Speaker 3: It's like one of those like I'm like, come on,
- 12:39Speaker 3: throw the girl a bone by the.
- 12:41Speaker 1: No, Actually, Laurie's hotel seems five stars compared to Crappy Lake,
- 12:45Speaker 1: did it.
- 12:46Speaker 2: You hear Vicky being like, I really just want somebody
- 12:49Speaker 2: that's professional and on time and ready and blah blah blah.
- 12:52Speaker 2: And then they're like and then Laurie was thirty five
- 12:55Speaker 2: minutes late and her bags didn't make it. I'm like,
- 13:01Speaker 2: poor Laurie. Like and then even Laurie's daughter, the whole
- 13:05Speaker 2: thing with the car, all of it. I'm like, this
- 13:07Speaker 2: is a Laurie. I want Laurie on this pod.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Because I feel like Lourie's okay, I'll get her on now.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Clearly the show had no budget back then, because it
- 13:16Speaker 3: if that was happening now, you know, there would either
- 13:19Speaker 3: be a trade out or the network would pay for
- 13:23Speaker 3: the hotels. But no, Laurie, you're getting the shitty one
- 13:26Speaker 3: and Vicky's getting the nice one.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But also the meeting of the top the top people
- 13:33Speaker 1: in the company, where it's like eight of them sitting
- 13:35Speaker 1: in that conference room or.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Wherever it is. It is a high class. I feel
- 13:41Speaker 2: like I've been to those type of things before.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And I just I don't know, really, Let's talk about
- 13:47Speaker 3: Vicky and Brianna. So Vicky's leaving for this trip, and
- 13:50Speaker 3: it's like I love you? Do you love me?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I love you?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Do you love me?
- 13:53Speaker 3: No no drinking, no drugs, no boys, no this, no that.
- 13:57Speaker 3: And Brian is so mature, she always has been. And
- 14:02Speaker 3: then you have Laurie's daughter where they're like, no parties
- 14:04Speaker 3: and she's like, oh, you know, girls gone wild at
- 14:07Speaker 3: her house and it was just, oh yeah.
- 14:10Speaker 2: The juxtaposition of the two is pretty insane.
- 14:14Speaker 3: And then and then Ashley getting a call from her
- 14:16Speaker 3: landline from Josh from Juvenile Hall and not taking it,
- 14:20Speaker 3: I know, and then it was like, no big deal,
- 14:22Speaker 3: that's my brother and Julie, who.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Do you think Do you think there was a film
- 14:26Speaker 2: crew filming that at that moment? Because that was like
- 14:30Speaker 2: the more I watched Laurie, the more I'm like Laurid.
- 14:33Speaker 3: iPhones back then.
- 14:35Speaker 2: True, I mean, Laurie.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Definitely put the reel in reality.
- 14:40Speaker 2: How many seasons is Laurie on?
- 14:42Speaker 3: Oh? Lordie?
- 14:43Speaker 2: So she was on? Was she still on when you
- 14:47Speaker 2: came on?
- 14:48Speaker 3: Yes, she was. I went to her wedding. That's when
- 14:51Speaker 3: it starts getting good. I mean when I get on.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I hate to brag about himself.
- 14:55Speaker 3: It just changed. The whole dynamic of the show changed.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Nobody was calling anybody out and I just came in
- 15:00Speaker 3: calling people out and they're like, whoa, this works. And
- 15:03Speaker 3: then it just changed everything. But then why did Laurie
- 15:05Speaker 3: get the boot? I don't remember. I really don't remember.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Gina was like, oh, Laurie was let go, and you
- 15:13Speaker 3: know it might have been Laurie left because her son
- 15:17Speaker 3: was having a lot of problems. I can't remember. But
- 15:20Speaker 3: she did come back a season.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Well, she was main cast for the first four seasons.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I just looked it up. Yeah, but then she was
- 15:26Speaker 2: a guest in season six, so guest means yeah, she
- 15:31Speaker 2: suggest she appeared once, but a friend of in season eight. Yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 2: my gosh. We have a lot of seasons.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I need to catch seventeen.
- 15:39Speaker 2: What season do you think I'm gonna like you the
- 15:41Speaker 2: most in and the least in.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Dude, I can't remember that far back. I mean when
- 15:47Speaker 3: I come on, it's like season three and it's still
- 15:51Speaker 3: a little you know. I think when Gretchen comes on,
- 15:54Speaker 3: I think at season four, that's when her and I
- 15:56Speaker 3: start fighting, and I'll like you.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Then I will just like you.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Well, I think you'll like me because you know that
- 16:03Speaker 3: I'm usually right when it comes to I am. I'm
- 16:05Speaker 3: usually right.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I love the know it all.
- 16:07Speaker 3: No, it's just a matter of I have like a
- 16:10Speaker 3: radar detector for bullshit like no other like I have
- 16:13Speaker 3: like a sense that I just like Brooks. I met Brooks,
- 16:16Speaker 3: I'm like, Nope, this guy ain't good.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I thought you were saying bullshit. I was like, mm so.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Then, Kimberly says nine years ago she had her third
- 16:37Speaker 1: malignant melanoma and was told she had had two to
- 16:40Speaker 1: five years to live. She says the doctors were obviously wrong,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and facing that fear has allowed her to have a
- 16:46Speaker 1: better attitude towards life.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I actually really like her. I never met her or
- 16:51Speaker 3: worked with her. She I want to believe she moved
- 16:55Speaker 3: out of state somewhere where there it wasn't a sunny yeah,
- 16:59Speaker 3: because she she was getting skin cancer a lot. She
- 17:02Speaker 3: seemed intelligent, She was fun.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, she seemed to really want to
- 17:10Speaker 2: enjoy life.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I mean, first off, we have to do a little
- 17:12Speaker 1: melanoma awareness. Here is how long this has been prevalent
- 17:17Speaker 1: in people's lives and how little people have talked about
- 17:19Speaker 1: it up until now. But she obviously shared it here.
- 17:22Speaker 1: But you guys, this is a reminder, this is a podcast.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Break write a little note right now. Go get your
- 17:28Speaker 1: skin checked.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And times that you didn't think that you would get
- 17:32Speaker 2: sun like for example, they said, Teddy, do you spend
- 17:35Speaker 2: more time in the driver's seat or the passenger seat?
- 17:38Speaker 1: And I said the passenger seat. Why I don't really drive,
- 17:41Speaker 1: And they said, because.
- 17:42Speaker 2: All of your melanomas are on your right shoulder, so
- 17:46Speaker 2: when you're in the car, son is constantly beating down
- 17:49Speaker 2: on you. I never thought to put sunscreen on if
- 17:51Speaker 2: I was in the car. I know, So go get checked.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Then we get to Joe getting her dream job as
- 18:01Speaker 1: a mortgage consultant. Slade does not like her decision to
- 18:05Speaker 1: get a job. Slay said they can come together as
- 18:07Speaker 1: a couple to create a plan for their future. If
- 18:10Speaker 1: she does stuff like this, Joe says, it's because she
- 18:14Speaker 1: decided to do it her way and not his. It's
- 18:17Speaker 1: wrong in his eyes. Slade says, he's not building there.
- 18:21Speaker 1: She's not building their future, She's building her future.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like twenty twenty three Slade could say
- 18:29Speaker 2: this or do you think no differently.
- 18:32Speaker 3: No, it hits differently nowadays. But I'm just so thankful
- 18:36Speaker 3: that she got out of that relationship. I mean, when
- 18:38Speaker 3: we had her on the show, I felt like she
- 18:41Speaker 3: doesn't have any bad feelings towards him whatsoever. And did
- 18:45Speaker 3: she not say it was like the love of her life.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I don't remember if she said it was the love
- 18:50Speaker 1: of her life, but she was like one of the
- 18:51Speaker 1: I think she Yeah, she said she's the love of
- 18:54Speaker 1: my life.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm like, oh, okay.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But I think also in respect when you start to
- 19:01Speaker 1: think about past relationships, like I remember, even just like
- 19:06Speaker 1: my high school boyfriend, that first like serious relationship that
- 19:09Speaker 1: I had felt the most intense at the beginning. Yes,
- 19:12Speaker 1: because it's all new, it's new, and you never felt
- 19:15Speaker 1: this way, like I remember ten years and you did
- 19:17Speaker 1: a few people You're.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Like, ah, GoF no.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I used to like have my friends, like in like
- 19:23Speaker 1: tenth grade in high school. I would have my friends
- 19:25Speaker 1: call him and be like, have you seen Teddy? Were
- 19:27Speaker 1: looking for her?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Like what what? Oh my god? And I'm like in
- 19:31Speaker 2: the room and he's like, well, I mean I saw
- 19:33Speaker 2: her a cheer practice, like when I was leaving football.
- 19:35Speaker 2: She was in cheer. But I'm sure she's fine. You
- 19:38Speaker 2: know it's wrong with me.
- 19:40Speaker 1: And then we would do drive bys their house, like
- 19:43Speaker 1: and oh I used to do I did drive bys too.
- 19:47Speaker 2: What is the point of a drive by? Like if
- 19:49Speaker 2: he's not home, he's home and he's not calling me
- 19:53Speaker 2: out and I.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I broke up with somebody or he broke up with me.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I can't even remember, but I a feeling he was
- 20:01Speaker 3: interested in somebody else, So I do drive bys.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I mean I had a yellow gribblin How inconspicuous did
- 20:08Speaker 2: I think? I was a bright yellow grimlin but with
- 20:10Speaker 2: no human edge? Show when we drove.
- 20:13Speaker 3: By You're all but Joe telling Slade he was lame
- 20:17Speaker 3: was everything to me. You're so lame? And oh, can
- 20:21Speaker 3: we talk about the Chanel sunglasses that everybody's wearing in
- 20:25Speaker 3: this episode? This episode and next episode the chanel ones
- 20:29Speaker 3: with the big thick ones plastic with the big seas
- 20:32Speaker 3: on the side, and oh, I remember those.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I want to know did they make dupes back then?
- 20:37Speaker 3: I don't think so. I don't think so. I had those.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I mean everybody had those sunglasses. Think Vicky's wearing them,
- 20:43Speaker 3: Joe's wearing them. I think Gina's wearing them. It's funny, but.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I mean, all in all, the most you get from
- 20:49Speaker 1: this episode is I I did really like Vicky.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she's good television.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I only know her from what i've known come in,
- 21:00Speaker 1: but watching her on this, I really like her. I
- 21:02Speaker 1: can see like all of her idiosyncresies where she's just
- 21:06Speaker 1: obsessive about everything and she's fun to watch.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I felt like the dynamic feel really real. If it
- 21:13Speaker 2: was produced by the same type of production, I'm like,
- 21:16Speaker 2: oh my gosh, this would have been so different. But
- 21:21Speaker 2: that's pretty much episode three.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that was it. They getting a little bit more
- 21:35Speaker 3: interesting on episode four.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I think all right well.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Episode four is titled Talk Talk Talk. This air date
- 21:46Speaker 1: was April eleventh, two thousand and six.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Oh my watching along with us, make sure that you
- 21:51Speaker 2: watch Gina takes Kimberly and Scott house hunting. Shane takes
- 21:56Speaker 2: an interest in Joe, and then Slade hires this a
- 22:00Speaker 2: sexy new assistant. Vicky and her husband argue over Brihanna's job,
- 22:05Speaker 2: and Laurie struggles with her children.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Poor Laurie.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I know Joe started her dream job at Countrywide. Because
- 22:15Speaker 1: of this, Slade has hired his personal assistant named Megan,
- 22:18Speaker 1: to pick up the slack. I love that Megan's confessionals
- 22:21Speaker 1: are like outside of a truck.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I have just little I have a little bit of
- 22:25Speaker 3: inside information from Joday hook up. No, this has nothing
- 22:29Speaker 3: to do with this episode. So when she worked at Countrywide,
- 22:35Speaker 3: who Megan or Joe Joe Joe? She worked with Ryan
- 22:40Speaker 3: Ryan or Rin Ryan? Who's on our show now? She
- 22:46Speaker 3: sent me a text message saying, oh my god, I
- 22:48Speaker 3: just watched your show. I used to work with Ryan
- 22:51Speaker 3: until something shady went down and then I know no
- 22:56Speaker 3: longer worked with him. And I go, what tell me
- 22:59Speaker 3: I need to know? And she goes, let's just say
- 23:01Speaker 3: we need to have drinks. So I said, okay, next
- 23:05Speaker 3: time we're in LA this happened.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you're building your Arsenal.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I need to know everything.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, yep.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Well, but Slade was so inappropriate asking Megan can you
- 23:18Speaker 3: grab my balls? And things like that. I mean, I
- 23:22Speaker 3: want an assistant who grabs my balls too. I playeds.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Friend says, I don't know.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I just the whole thing made me feel.
- 23:31Speaker 3: But don't you feel like Slade was basically the sixth
- 23:33Speaker 3: housewife when he started he was so well.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Watched the clip from Andy.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I mean, granted, I think this was like after a
- 23:42Speaker 1: season four or whatever, but when Slade's like, well, I
- 23:44Speaker 1: made the decision not to come back on this show,
- 23:47Speaker 1: and Andy's like, well, I mean Joe.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Was no longer yeah, you weren't asked.
- 23:52Speaker 3: And then what did he do? He started dating Laurie
- 23:54Speaker 3: you'll see, and then he was back on and then
- 23:56Speaker 3: he started dating Gretchen.
- 23:57Speaker 2: He dates LORII.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Yes, yes, my gosh, don't ruin it for those of
- 24:02Speaker 3: us who marry, well, how about when said goes we
- 24:06Speaker 3: don't have to play well because we're rich.
- 24:10Speaker 2: When all the women got jealous over the one hundred
- 24:12Speaker 2: thousand dollars wedding but never but I'm not laughing about
- 24:18Speaker 2: the amount. I mean, that's more than I spent for
- 24:20Speaker 2: my wedding. But I'm just well, back then that was
- 24:24Speaker 2: a lot of money for a wedding. Now Hill, there's
- 24:26Speaker 2: a lot of money. I mean, it has a lot
- 24:28Speaker 2: of money regardless, But just being so like open to
- 24:32Speaker 2: talk about that kind of stuff.
- 24:33Speaker 3: I was like, oh, and it's probably fine. It probably
- 24:37Speaker 3: was thirty thousand.
- 24:38Speaker 2: And by the way, they never got married, so it
- 24:41Speaker 2: was do you know her engagement ring is fake? How
- 24:44Speaker 2: did she find out it was fake? She?
- 24:46Speaker 3: I don't know. She went she went public with it
- 24:48Speaker 3: and said that the ring that he gave her was
- 24:51Speaker 3: a cz It was not even a real diamond. So
- 24:53Speaker 3: if you notice they like flash in, like really zoom
- 24:56Speaker 3: in on her ring and I'm like fake, kashtak fake.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Then Kimberly tells her husband Scott about her girl's trip
- 25:05Speaker 1: and how a man told her he would do anything
- 25:08Speaker 1: to take her home.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Kimberly says she's lucky that she's a stay at home
- 25:12Speaker 2: mom who enjoys herself. How would Eddie react if you
- 25:16Speaker 2: told him that a man had said that to you?
- 25:19Speaker 2: And would you tell him?
- 25:21Speaker 3: I probably wouldn't tell him, and I probably wouldn't have
- 25:23Speaker 3: myself in that situation, Like she really had herself in
- 25:27Speaker 3: Palm Springs or wherever she Palm Desert at Costa's remember
- 25:31Speaker 3: Costa's that was the name of the club. She really
- 25:35Speaker 3: put herself in a position that I would never put
- 25:37Speaker 3: myself in.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Well, this is kind of a parallel of you and
- 25:40Speaker 2: Ryan this season when he says I'm gonna f her.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah, and it all sounds like they had like an
- 25:49Speaker 3: open relationship the way they were talking.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Well, not about the way they were talking. If Edwin
- 25:54Speaker 2: saw me dancing like that was another man, oh it
- 25:57Speaker 2: would at a nightclub national television. No, or if I
- 26:03Speaker 2: saw him not just.
- 26:05Speaker 1: One sided, but like if I was grinding up on
- 26:08Speaker 1: another man that was straight, I.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Would actually my shit. I would lose my shit for sure.
- 26:18Speaker 2: But they he seems to enjoy it. I mean, maybe
- 26:21Speaker 2: they have a situation. But then we get to Shane.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Je He says he's still a virgin and does not
- 26:30Speaker 1: believe in having sex, just to say he's had it.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But yet then when he's playing the basketball game, every
- 26:36Speaker 2: single thing is about sex.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Well, the boy's eighteen, he's ever been laid? What do
- 26:39Speaker 3: you expect? I thought he was really brave. I like Shane.
- 26:43Speaker 3: He got a bad rap.
- 26:44Speaker 2: But I thought he was.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Just so sensitive, so sweet, that he was really pushing
- 26:48Speaker 3: hard to be athletic like his dad and his grandfather.
- 26:52Speaker 3: But you know, we saw him playing basketball, we saw
- 26:57Speaker 3: he saw him playing baseball, and then we saw him
- 26:59Speaker 3: playing kid. Does not have an athletic billy at all.
- 27:04Speaker 3: It's like, poor Shane.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But you know, there was a lot of I'm still
- 27:08Speaker 1: stuck on episode one where I see him like being
- 27:10Speaker 1: so mean to his little brother that I'm like.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Oh, I don't so mean to that.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I don't have a ton of healthy for Shane.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I knows a little bit of an asshole.
- 27:19Speaker 1: But do you think that the daughter is playing it
- 27:23Speaker 1: up for the cameras a little bit?
- 27:26Speaker 3: No, that's Kara.
- 27:27Speaker 2: That is her, no matter what.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that is her. I love her, love her.
- 27:31Speaker 2: No, she's hilarious. But I'm wondering. I was wondering. I
- 27:33Speaker 2: was like, does she is this?
- 27:34Speaker 3: How she should get her on the show?
- 27:38Speaker 2: How old she is now?
- 27:40Speaker 3: She's in her thirties, She's gone through a lot. She
- 27:43Speaker 3: had a baby pass away very sad right at birth,
- 27:47Speaker 3: at home birth, and she is now has had another son.
- 27:52Speaker 3: He's maybe over a year, super cute. They live in Florida,
- 27:56Speaker 3: but she's she's just a good, solid person. Now Shane,
- 28:01Speaker 3: I think he just recently got married within the last year.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I don't know why. Watching this, it feels like this
- 28:07Speaker 2: was like thirty years ago, like I was a baby.
- 28:09Speaker 2: When these shows, it feels like.
- 28:10Speaker 3: It was thirty years ago.
- 28:11Speaker 2: To me.
- 28:13Speaker 3: It's just weird. I just think, oh my god. I
- 28:15Speaker 3: mean I came on a year year after that, and
- 28:19Speaker 3: it's just crazy. Two years after that.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Then we get Vicky.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Vicky's family heads to their second home and like have
- 28:26Speaker 1: a sue. Her son Michael, brought his friends on the trip.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Vicky wonders if his friends think of her as a milf?
- 28:35Speaker 3: Oh yes, do you want Chris's friends to think that
- 28:39Speaker 3: you're a milf? And would you be rubbing your back
- 28:41Speaker 3: all over your his link?
- 28:43Speaker 2: Absolutely not one. They're eight and two. I no, I don't.
- 28:50Speaker 3: When they're teenagers.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I will be a thousand years old when they're teenagers.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I don't think it's any different than when Vicky Vicky's age.
- 28:59Speaker 3: I think, actually, you'll be younger.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 29:03Speaker 2: No, I'm forty two now, so ten years from now
- 29:07Speaker 2: fifty two. Probably in my backy, I.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Thought you might be a little older. I think she
- 29:10Speaker 3: was in her forties.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Well, she tries to blurred her way out of a
- 29:14Speaker 2: lot of things.
- 29:16Speaker 3: The Don and VICKI thing, you'll see as you watch
- 29:19Speaker 3: they were never on the same level. Ever. There was
- 29:23Speaker 3: never like they were always fighting. It was always they
- 29:27Speaker 3: lived two separate lives. But I liked Don so much.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Well, you could tell she was like disappointed. It seemed
- 29:34Speaker 2: it appeared that she was disappointed and who Don was
- 29:37Speaker 2: as a human, like she wanted him to be more than.
- 29:39Speaker 3: You want to be different. So I talked to Don
- 29:43Speaker 3: the other day. Why it was actually not the other day,
- 29:46Speaker 3: I would say a few weeks ago, we were at
- 29:48Speaker 3: Shannon's house. We were preparing for the Trace a Megas show,
- 29:55Speaker 3: and we started calling Vicky's. We called Vicky's ex Don
- 30:00Speaker 3: and Brooks whiding call Brooks, Shannon did, and Vicky got
- 30:05Speaker 3: him on the phone and he was so funny. He
- 30:08Speaker 3: was in Palm Springs. He was drinking and we're like, hey,
- 30:12Speaker 3: can we can we use your riverhouse? Because he got
- 30:15Speaker 3: the riverhouse. He's like no, He's hilarious.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Do you think Vicky and Don should have stayed married
- 30:23Speaker 2: if they didn't do the show.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I don't.
- 30:27Speaker 3: They were so opposite it was, I mean, it was
- 30:31Speaker 3: quite obvious. I remember going to dinner with them on
- 30:33Speaker 3: Valentine's Day. I was with Simon, she was with Don.
- 30:36Speaker 3: It was the Codo Club. We were there and Brianna
- 30:39Speaker 3: called her and She's like, okay, yeah, I'll be there,
- 30:42Speaker 3: and Don's like, what do you mean we're out to dinner.
- 30:45Speaker 3: He's like, well, Brianna needs me, so I'm gonna go.
- 30:47Speaker 3: It's Valentine's Day. Vic And she's like, no, sorry by her.
- 30:52Speaker 2: She wasn't in like her love bubble with him.
- 30:55Speaker 3: No, But I think now she probably regrets that whole decision.
- 31:02Speaker 3: I don't really think they would still be together because
- 31:04Speaker 3: they were so opposite back then, and I just don't
- 31:07Speaker 3: see it.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Well. Vicky's flirting even back then made me think that
- 31:11Speaker 2: maybe she could use it a little bit of a
- 31:12Speaker 2: lesson from Luanne on the flirting.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I'm like, come on, did you notice the random guy
- 31:20Speaker 3: in the kitchen?
- 31:22Speaker 2: I did?
- 31:23Speaker 3: It was like a production Err yeah, yeah, And I'm like, whoo,
- 31:26Speaker 3: who was that? It was just some kind of a
- 31:29Speaker 3: production guy. In the background just popped in. But Lake
- 31:32Speaker 3: Havasu was a good old days you'll see in episodes
- 31:35Speaker 3: to come. We go to Oh god, I just thought
- 31:39Speaker 3: of something. I'm gonna have to recap it with Simon
- 31:40Speaker 3: on there. Oh oh, I have a question, is Bass.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Lake, Lake Havasu or no Bass Lake?
- 31:47Speaker 3: I went to Boske on Tolongosi likes quite a ways away,
- 31:51Speaker 3: and I think the opposite direction. It's like in a
- 31:53Speaker 3: mountain town.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Because I just read on page six that.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Raquel Rachel from Sand of All Scandall whatever, is in
- 32:02Speaker 1: negotiations to come back on Van and Pump Rules, but
- 32:08Speaker 1: they want her back on to go to this trip
- 32:10Speaker 1: in bass Lake.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I'm like, isn't Bass Lake like one of that?
- 32:14Speaker 3: I really hope somebody screams, did you.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Go to bass right? That's what I was thinking.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Laurie's son Joshua has been in juvenile hall for a while.
- 32:24Speaker 1: They're holding him for a psychiatric evaluation drul out mental illness.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Josh as psychiatrist doesn't show up to the hearings, so
- 32:31Speaker 1: now josh has to be in jail for a couple
- 32:33Speaker 1: more days than we see Ashley looking for her car
- 32:36Speaker 1: because it's repossessed because she.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Owes sixteen hundred.
- 32:41Speaker 3: My question, how do you allow your kids to get
- 32:43Speaker 3: to that point?
- 32:46Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if it's allowing your kids to
- 32:48Speaker 2: get to that point.
- 32:49Speaker 3: It is, I mean, their product of their environment most
- 32:51Speaker 3: of the time, and when they're that young, when I
- 32:53Speaker 3: like summed.
- 32:54Speaker 1: It up pretty perfectly, she said, my parents always gave
- 32:57Speaker 1: me everything. My stepdad he you know, I think if
- 33:01Speaker 1: you're handed every so that's it. You're at a young age, yeah,
- 33:04Speaker 1: and then you don't have any concept of money, and
- 33:06Speaker 1: then all of a sudden everything changes and you have
- 33:09Speaker 1: no idea and you think you're always gonna get bailed out.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Like we didn't have that that upbring, like our at
- 33:16Speaker 1: least mind where I assume yours were too.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It was very much like you want to do it,
- 33:20Speaker 2: you figure it out, here's how you handle it.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I'm worried what I'm creating for my kids sometimes because
- 33:25Speaker 1: I think that I am teaching them more ethic and
- 33:28Speaker 1: all these types of things.
- 33:29Speaker 2: But there are moments that I'm like, I mean, they
- 33:33Speaker 2: are this.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Age years old and like, have an iPad or have
- 33:36Speaker 1: this or have that, and I don't.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Think that's a big deal. It's the kids that get
- 33:39Speaker 3: to do whatever they want and get bought whatever they
- 33:43Speaker 3: want all the time and don't appreciate it. And I
- 33:46Speaker 3: think you've learned that at a young age, like at
- 33:49Speaker 3: their young age. If they're disrespectful or if they're not
- 33:53Speaker 3: thankful for the things she gets, then you just stop. No,
- 33:56Speaker 3: you're not getting shit.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm or this is going if you don't
- 33:59Speaker 1: do that, this is getting taken away.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Who knew.
- 34:01Speaker 3: But I'm not the mom that's like, oh you want
- 34:03Speaker 3: a new Mercedes? Do you want a new Porsche for
- 34:06Speaker 3: your sixteen?
- 34:07Speaker 2: No?
- 34:07Speaker 3: No, nope, not happening.
- 34:09Speaker 2: No. Well Gina is clearly not like that.
- 34:13Speaker 3: But everything, But let me just say, like the Josh,
- 34:19Speaker 3: this poor kid has struggled his whole life.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Well, even when they showed the like they panned from
- 34:25Speaker 2: like far away, Laurie was talking. They're like, oh, that's
- 34:28Speaker 2: that's Josh's dad.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Yeah they leared him, Yeah they learned him. But you
- 34:33Speaker 3: have to admire Laurie for showing it all on camera
- 34:35Speaker 3: because that's really the bad and the ugly that really is.
- 34:39Speaker 3: That's got to be heartbreaking just as a parent, especially
- 34:42Speaker 3: as a single mom, to have to deal with that
- 34:44Speaker 3: like Ryan. Ryan was never like problems like that, as
- 34:48Speaker 3: you know me being a single mom. But he was
- 34:50Speaker 3: rebellious and to this day he's a little bit rebellious
- 34:53Speaker 3: like my kids, my younger kids versus Ryan, They're totally different.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Then we get to Gina Sunshane think Slade is keeping
- 35:01Speaker 2: Joe and his control and isolating her. Gina thinks Joe
- 35:05Speaker 2: probably has more in common with Shane than Slade because
- 35:08Speaker 2: of her age. Then a couple days after the barbecue
- 35:12Speaker 2: where they have a little chemistry, Joe has Shane over
- 35:15Speaker 2: to help get rid of the rabbits in her yard.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Slade comes home in the middle of it all and
- 35:21Speaker 1: was pissed off, claiming Joe was slurting with Shane.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Do you think Joe was trying to get a reaction
- 35:26Speaker 2: from Slade by doing this or do you think because he.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Had probably well. I think she was playing up for
- 35:32Speaker 3: the TV for sure, and I think he was as well.
- 35:35Speaker 3: But I will give credit to Shane because when they
- 35:38Speaker 3: were at that barbecue in his backyard, Shane really summed
- 35:43Speaker 3: up Slade, really put him in his place just by
- 35:46Speaker 3: meeting him, talking with him and observing watching what he
- 35:50Speaker 3: was doing. It's like this guy is controlling, he wants
- 35:53Speaker 3: to keep her to it himself and sat over there
- 35:55Speaker 3: on the kid's table so nobody can talk to him.
- 35:58Speaker 3: I felt like Shane Joe had more chemistry than slat
- 36:02Speaker 3: In Joe, maybe because they're closer to age.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Well, how about this.
- 36:07Speaker 1: A real question that I have is how bad are
- 36:10Speaker 1: the bunnies in Orange County?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Are seeing one?
- 36:13Speaker 3: Oh, they're running all over my front yard all the time,
- 36:16Speaker 3: all the time. I don't get them too much in
- 36:18Speaker 3: the backyard, but we live across the street from like
- 36:20Speaker 3: a field and a slope, and so there's bunnies just right.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I think what a bunnies do to all these people? Like,
- 36:25Speaker 2: why are they so pissed with the freaking bunnies.
- 36:28Speaker 3: I don't have any problems with them, so I don't
- 36:29Speaker 3: know what they're doing in Kodo, but I feel like
- 36:32Speaker 3: that might be another animal that's eating all the flowers. Oh,
- 36:36Speaker 3: I mean, the bunnies around here are just hiding from
- 36:37Speaker 3: the coyotes that walk up and down my street.
- 36:41Speaker 2: We have a lot of coyotes here too.
- 36:44Speaker 3: They freak me out. They scare the shit out of me.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Oh, they're always so dirty too.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Well, we have one with the mange that runs around.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Oh right, they trying to make friends with Rugby soon
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah no, god no, well that was episode three and
- 36:58Speaker 1: four of you guys.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Are you watching along with us? Make sure that you
- 37:01Speaker 2: watch episodes five and six for our next podcast, and
- 37:04Speaker 2: then we'll bring a guest on soon as well. So
- 37:07Speaker 2: send any questions you have for us.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Tell us who you want, Like, I'm thinking we need
- 37:11Speaker 3: to get Lauri on. We need to get Gina on.
- 37:13Speaker 3: I would love to get Kara on. I don't think
- 37:16Speaker 3: Vicky will come on. What do you think?
- 37:19Speaker 2: I think Vicky would rather pretend that I don't exist
- 37:22Speaker 2: in life.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I've already reached out to Lynn. She'll come on
- 37:25Speaker 3: in the future. And then Tammy Knickerbocker would be a
- 37:29Speaker 3: fun one. She's not on yet, right, No, she knows
- 37:31Speaker 3: on season two. Yeah, she's a good one. So yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 3: all
- 37:38Speaker 2: Right, well I will talk to you soon, tam okay,
- 37:43Speaker 2: bye bye.
