Latest / Deadly Intentions / Inside the Hunt for Israel Keyes, America’s Most Elusive Killer
Transcript
- 0:00He just did it because, as he told the FBI later on, he was
- 0:02getting an interview. Why not?
- 0:04He had no consistent victim type.
- 0:06See someone in a rural area and whoever it is, it is everything
- 0:09he would need. He would construct kit and then
- 0:12bury him. He's got a he had a dozen kids
- 0:14all over the country. Israel keys the most elusive
- 0:17serial killer and modern era. Raised in a very conservative
- 0:26religious family associated with the Mormon faith, but the family
- 0:31kind of goes on to the the more extreme elements.
- 0:36Of being of. Mormonism and it could transfer
- 0:40over, basically. To a a.
- 0:42Group that referred to generally as Christian Identity, which
- 0:45could be a little bit more on the more he was explicitly
- 0:48raised in a white supremacist communities both initially in
- 0:53Utah. He was also raised in
- 0:54Washington, Oregon and like they moved around quite a bit and
- 0:59they lived off the grid. You know, at one point he's
- 1:03raised like essentially out in the woods in a small cabin,
- 1:06large family and no running water, no electricity, no
- 1:10toilets. I mean basically he lived like
- 1:11people did in 1860s and he this is where he became desensitized
- 1:16actually to islands because him and his siblings had to go out
- 1:20and hunt. Right, that's how they ate.
- 1:22That's right. So that usually in the serial on
- 1:25a living world, a lot of times it starts with be killing with
- 1:33yeah, arming animals and and arson and fire.
- 1:37And those are the some of the most the common denominators
- 1:40amongst people that are wired this way is they usually start
- 1:42with with animals. Didn't Dahmer start with
- 1:44animals? I haven't recently.
- 1:45Yeah, I think I think Dahmer started with animals and it and
- 1:49and so it one of the common denominators is the an alive of
- 1:54animals, so they had to do it too.
- 1:56He didn't necessarily do it for to be a psycho.
- 2:00He did it because that's how they.
- 2:01That's how they ate. That's how the family.
- 2:03Ate, but it's desensitizes. You desensitized them.
- 2:05And later on, when he was speaking with the FBI, he was.
- 2:08He referenced specifically the visceral thrill he received by
- 2:13skinning the Deers. Yeah, 'cause you have to
- 2:15understand there's a, you know, you, you catch them, you, you
- 2:19alive, the animal and that's, you know, that doesn't where it
- 2:23stops, then the gruesome part comes and then you have to skin
- 2:26it and quarter it and make it available to eat.
- 2:29And that's very, very visceral, if you will.
- 2:33Yeah, that's that's where he developed this fascination with
- 2:38that entire process. Right Dahmer when you when you
- 2:41eventually look his stuff. Pete, same thing.
- 2:43Absolutely. I watched documentary, same
- 2:46thing, except his dad introduced in Dahmer's situation, his dad
- 2:50introduced him into the hunting aspect of it and and encouraged
- 2:54him to do it. The little does his dad know
- 2:55that he was going to turn into what he did.
- 2:57But you know, so we're in, we're in Utah, we're in the Mormon sub
- 3:01act. They move off the grid.
- 3:03By all accounts, does he have a normal childhood other than no.
- 3:07He was homeschooled. Very little interaction with
- 3:09people outside of the family. And let me ask you a question,
- 3:11Pete. How do you home school if you
- 3:14don't have Internet? I mean, do they have the way?
- 3:16Just essentially wasn't sold, you know, Yeah, if this is just.
- 3:21A loophole within the home sewing technology, because at
- 3:25that point your mom would have to have books and do tests and
- 3:28things like that, and I'm sure she didn't.
- 3:30I mean, it's just these are small communities that tend to
- 3:35be on the very extreme fringes. Right.
- 3:38And so he grew up in that particular environment where he
- 3:41was comfortable in a rural setting, familiar with those
- 3:44type of environments. He.
- 3:46No amenities so. There's no amenities.
- 3:49Later on, when he was involved in his state, that's where he
- 3:51would watch the targets of his hunting.
- 3:55Essentially, he'd be out in the woods for a couple of days
- 3:58keeping an eye on him. He wouldn't break cover.
- 4:00And and by normal people's, you know, that would be like you,
- 4:05you and I couldn't survive in the woods for three days.
- 4:07I'm from LA. I've.
- 4:08Been right right. I need air conditioning some
- 4:10some some food, you know, ATV whatever.
- 4:13So so we got Israel keys. He's born in 1978 Utah moves
- 4:18around. He has comes from a large
- 4:21wizard. Did we ever find out how many
- 4:22siblings he had? Large family.
- 4:25They are borderline white supremacist.
- 4:28Borderline. Off the living, off the grid, he
- 4:30was the especially the black sheep in the family that
- 4:33ultimately rebelled. And so towards the latter part
- 4:38of his teenage years, right before his adulthood, he decried
- 4:42his atheism, which of course caused a huge problem in the
- 4:44family. Sure.
- 4:45I mean, there's these, these, these really, really, really
- 4:47stringent slash Christians. And he wants to say, OK, I don't
- 4:51believe in that whole temple of God.
- 4:53Yeah, so he he went the atheist route and then developed the
- 4:57interest with Satanism. So this is the probably 18 when
- 5:02he can finally leave the flock. He's now telling mom and dad,
- 5:05OK, I'm an atheist and praise Satan, which they're like get
- 5:11that, get the hell out of here. The family shunned him and he
- 5:14right was it called within from their their entire little
- 5:18community. So he goes from that community,
- 5:21wherever that may be. He might have been in
- 5:22Washington. He from them goes into the army.
- 5:24He OK, so he goes into the army a lot of times when you don't
- 5:27have any options, what do you do?
- 5:29Certainly you go into the military and he.
- 5:32And most of the time, Pete, military can clean you up.
- 5:35Most of the time military can get you back on, you know, trap.
- 5:38I've had numerous interactions. I was the coordinator for the
- 5:41Veterans re entry program but interactions with literally
- 5:44hundreds. You're very familiar with that.
- 5:47It's all, yeah, it's a, it's a story that I've come across
- 5:49frequently. Of course not them turned into
- 5:51these kind of. No, no, they actually it did
- 5:54what it was supposed to. Do, certainly, yeah.
- 5:56But. So he goes into the army.
- 5:59To the army, he has his first incident.
- 6:02OK so gets defrocked. Is it defrocked or from the
- 6:06family defrocked? Essentially expelled.
- 6:09See you later. You believe Satan?
- 6:11We're hardcore Christians, Mormon weirdos.
- 6:15And Christian and you know, like like I said, the Christian
- 6:17identity sect. I don't mean to imply normal
- 6:20Christian to someone on far extreme.
- 6:23Of a fringe. A fringe Get out of here prior
- 6:27to the army. Prior to the army.
- 6:29Our first incident. He'd been fantasizing throughout
- 6:32his teenage years. As his interest in Satanism came
- 6:34in. He wanted to participate in a
- 6:35ritual unaliving. And that's what his testimony
- 6:38was to the feds When so he he he testified that OK, after I got
- 6:44thrown out of the family. Subsequent to his arrest, he
- 6:46made a series of statements to the federal authorities, and in
- 6:50doing so, he documented his involvement about the course of
- 6:54his history. He identified this is the first
- 6:55of his assault when he it was a, you know, group of kids inner
- 7:00tubing down a river. Oh, so that's, that's who he had
- 7:03his eye on. He's.
- 7:05Deemed to be highly methodical and random, but the randomness
- 7:12was a function of how he later on decided he's going to swore
- 7:15investigatory tactics. He was also very opportunistic,
- 7:19so he just happened to be there. See some kids tubing?
- 7:22See some Where's this at in Oregon?
- 7:24See some kids right, you know right water rafting type of
- 7:28stuff, absolutely and the. Things in Oregon kids do.
- 7:30That's right. So the last tube was a young
- 7:34girl, never identified by name, 14 to 18 years old.
- 7:38So she's like kind of broke off from the back, right?
- 7:40So she's like a little bit far behind.
- 7:41Kind of lost the pack a little bit.
- 7:43So she's kind of the, you know, odd man out A.
- 7:45Ways back, able to snatch her up, you know, go down the water,
- 7:49right? Right on the river.
- 7:50Right out of the river, pull her up and he drags her to a
- 7:55especially a porta potty that was out in the woods, takes her
- 7:59out there, ties her up and he brought his knife kit.
- 8:04He's had this whole ritual set up and he that he restrained her
- 8:11mostly at one time, sexually assaulted her and from here on
- 8:15out we'll just call it assault. So he assaulted her and later on
- 8:20when he spoke with the authorities, he said that he was
- 8:22too timid on a liver like he couldn't complete the ritual.
- 8:29He ultimately let her go. Oh, he did, yes.
- 8:31But she never you know, because. She did not report.
- 8:35It Oh, she did not report. It she did not report it.
- 8:37Man, how do you not? I mean.
- 8:40You know, it's difficult for for her, Yeah, either how we, who
- 8:43are we doing, right? I mean, so yes, she was 1418.
- 8:46That's what he's identified. That basically got a pass on
- 8:48that one because she didn't report it.
- 8:51She. Didn't report and he had no idea
- 8:54of what her identity was. She's just some inner tubing
- 8:56girl. Wow, so incident number.
- 8:58One incident #1. We'll call her.
- 9:00Tape. Satanic ritual that he wasn't
- 9:03able to complete right because he quote UN quote was too timid.
- 9:06Now at the end of the day, his intentions were well certainly
- 9:09too UN alive. And he said from that, after
- 9:11that, he resolved he was never going to do that again.
- 9:14Meaning if I'm going to take it that far, I'm going to take it
- 9:16to the to the full gimmick. So inner tumens #1 that's Prior
- 9:20to joining the. Army Now he pivots in the Army.
- 9:22Before he served from 1998 to 2001, which is an honorable
- 9:26discharge. During his stay in the Army,
- 9:30however, there were two instances while in the army,
- 9:33while in a service, yes, on leave in Egypt, he assaulted a
- 9:39woman and then on leave in Israel, he assaulted, assaulted
- 9:45a second one. So there's a two women in the
- 9:47Middle East. The first one was an escort that
- 9:51he assaulted. The second one escalated to just
- 9:54a college girl. He just snatched up some college
- 9:56kid, but again, women he wasn't able to identify by name, but
- 9:59these are individuals that he identified to the authorities as
- 10:03he was demonstrating his progression and escalation.
- 10:05And talking about the timeline as to who, when, where, what and
- 10:09how as far as one inner tubing girl 2, Egypt girl, 3 is real
- 10:16girl now, as is Egypt girl and Israel girl.
- 10:20Were they unalived? No, they were still.
- 10:22They just assaulted. He's still at this point has not
- 10:27unalived anybody. He's just a serial assaulter.
- 10:30Serial assaulter at. This point, at this point.
- 10:32He completes his tour, He's honorably discharged in 2001,
- 10:36and this is where he begins the unaliving.
- 10:39The O1. Now, just so we framed things
- 10:43correctly, most of the information comes through the
- 10:47FBI reporting subsequent to his final unaliving.
- 10:52And it's why her event is significant.
- 10:55And this is a young woman named Samantha Koenig.
- 10:58She's the one who worked in the Common Grounds coffee shop.
- 11:02Yep, common. She worked in this little this
- 11:04little shed in Anchorage, AK. Yes, and it's literally the size
- 11:09of like a toll booth. Yes, maybe a.
- 11:11Little bit bigger and it was a coffee shop, yes.
- 11:14A drive through coffee shop? Yes.
- 11:15So he gets out of the Army. He he's living in the state of
- 11:18Washington. 2001 to 2007, he's living in Washington.
- 11:21In 2007, he moves to Alaska. So now the principal events
- 11:27occur while he's in Alaska. This is how we get our
- 11:29narrative. And so it's much later, 2012,
- 11:32where the incident so obviously involving Samantha Koenig came
- 11:35up in. Now what's interesting about
- 11:37Keys is by the time that event occurred, he had a methodology
- 11:43he had established where he did not target individuals either in
- 11:50his primary location where he lived and he was supposed to
- 11:54never use his vehicle. Now, he ultimately broke both
- 11:56rules with her. When you talk about
- 11:59geographically profiling, that means not.
- 12:03Operating in a particular area, he made a deliberate decision 1
- 12:06He was going to disrupt the profiling of target him by not
- 12:14having a specific geographical area.
- 12:16In and out, kind of. In addition to becoming the
- 12:18serial and alive, he was involved in a series of criminal
- 12:23categories like he started out with burglaries escalated the
- 12:27arson escalated to bank robberies escalated to the
- 12:31assaulting of women. Kidnapping.
- 12:34And it escalated to Deanna Levings and often times he began
- 12:39utilizing the travel to facilitate a bank robbery.
- 12:45And while he was there knocking off the bank on the side, he
- 12:48snatched some person up. And then flight of Vermont.
- 12:52Well, yeah, well, Ben, because he's out of Alaska.
- 12:54And So what he would do is he would travel well.
- 12:55What made him well, one, several things make him unique.
- 12:58One, the the lack of a geographical profile. 2, the
- 13:01fact that he had no consistent victim type.
- 13:05The guy from New York was focusing on escorts.
- 13:07He preferred short women. Like there's commonality where
- 13:10he was just completely. Completely all over the road.
- 13:12That's where it becomes random. You would see someone in a rural
- 13:16area and whoever it is, it is but distinguished him.
- 13:19In addition to his efforts to just spark the ability to create
- 13:24this profile to target him, he created what were essentially at
- 13:30one time murder. Kits, kits or he would take
- 13:35unaliving kits. Yeah, a 5 gallon Home Depot
- 13:38bucket. Build it with all of.
- 13:41Everything that he would. Be a firearm, A suppressor, a
- 13:45rope, you know, 909. Everything he would need, he
- 13:50would construct kit and then bury him.
- 13:53He's got a he had a dozen kids all over the country.
- 13:55So he would travel to whatever, wherever he would get these
- 14:00unaliving kits, bury them and then the next time he went to
- 14:04that area, he had a already an established he didn't have to go
- 14:08buy this stuff because a lot of times they get you on where did
- 14:13they'll get to go to Home Depot and look at the surveillance and
- 14:16see that you So if there is none because you bought that.
- 14:20Three years ago. Three years ago, 450 miles away,
- 14:24because you rented a car into Chicago down to Kentucky, bought
- 14:27a couple of these kits, buried them in a State Park somewhere
- 14:31that you knew where it was under underneath the third tree by the
- 14:334th Bush 4 foot down. All you need to that point is a
- 14:37shovel. You go get your kit and then
- 14:40this kit is virtually untraceable.
- 14:43You no matter what type of of that you leave behind because
- 14:46they cannot forensically find out where that kit faint came
- 14:49from. Yeah, that that was part of his.
- 14:51That's brilliant. Yeah, part of his.
- 14:52I mean, I'm not trying to. He's been characterized as a,
- 14:58you know, a genius, a mastermind.
- 15:01And look, he was clever, but he was methodical and it was these
- 15:09type of efforts to Swart. So how he's able to travel, not
- 15:11having to carry anything on him. He's like with respect to the
- 15:14Vermont with the with the married couple.
- 15:17Yeah. Well, that was a kit that he had
- 15:18buried. That was in 2011.
- 15:20He buried that kit 2009. So that was sitting there for
- 15:22two years. Yeah.
- 15:24And so now, you know, in a rural community, there may be a one
- 15:28hardware store in the area. So if something were to happen,
- 15:30obviously the detective, if they have no leads, they're going to
- 15:32go there and cops go. In the last three weeks, anybody
- 15:34that bought rope? Nope.
- 15:35They find the people. And it was Farmer Jones who had
- 15:39who lived down the road. That's the last rope by Farmer
- 15:42Jones. And Farmer Jones is not a
- 15:44suspect. Sure.
- 15:45And so that's why they he was able to work the ability to
- 15:49develop those kinds of leads and by having the stuff already
- 15:54situated, he called it his insurance policy.
- 15:56And so whenever he would have the need to engage in this court
- 16:01of conduct, he'd fly to wherever he's going to go knock off the
- 16:04bank, knowing that, OK, well, I got a kid up in New York, let me
- 16:07shoot up in the New York going I.
- 16:09Got a I got a prepaid kit from two years ago.
- 16:12Let me shoot the York. Let me get that out of the way.
- 16:14Get that, get my craziness out of the way, which would be an
- 16:18assault with an unaliving and boom, fly back out.
- 16:22Meanwhile, you know, with regards to the world that we
- 16:26live in, the things that we talk about, most people don't
- 16:30distance themselves hundreds if not thousands of miles from
- 16:35where they do the crime in the last week, last week was our
- 16:38first time that we had a guy that just went district to
- 16:40district. This guy's going.
- 16:42Not just geographically distance, but a temporal element
- 16:46where he's putting the kit there in 9 and utilizing it in 11.
- 16:51Has there been? I've never heard of that.
- 16:53Yes. And so the authorities have
- 16:54already recovered 4 of the kits. Well, three of them.
- 16:57The authorities recovered and then a fourth, a independent
- 17:01journalist podcaster, found it, found they went like they went
- 17:05through the, the FBI has a there's so much interest in the
- 17:09case that there's Freedom of Information, essentially.
- 17:11FOIA Act. Database where people can access
- 17:14the information. Instead of submitting 100
- 17:15different requests, just go right to the database and so
- 17:17people pulled the information off and they started.
- 17:19Looking at where he had told FBI where his kits were and so the.
- 17:244th 1 was discovered by independent journalists who.
- 17:27And podcaster, yes. So we go to, he's living in
- 17:30Washington. We're going to go to the.
- 17:33We're now we're in Alaska where he.
- 17:34Does well, Yeah, yeah, yeah. He moved to Alaska.
- 17:36Moved to Alaska. And he has the the, the coffee,
- 17:40the common ground, a little, little coffee drive through.
- 17:46Shed. It's essentially a kiosk.
- 17:48And if you if you know, if you watch Land Man or not, but Land
- 17:52Man is this really popular show and it's about the oil workers
- 17:57in in Texas and how they wake up real early in the morning and
- 18:01they have these drive through coffee shops.
- 18:03It's very much modeled like common grounds of where you know
- 18:08are unaliving at this point. The first one he takes
- 18:11responsibility for or the first one they forensically get.
- 18:15And we've talked about a couple prior, but we got that through
- 18:18his testimony. This is the one that they this
- 18:20is our first. This is a kind of victim 1.
- 18:23From the investigation. From the investigation and then
- 18:25they back right, right, they reverse engineered it once got
- 18:28him in custody. But the one that they initially
- 18:32caught him for would be this one here, Samantha.
- 18:34He's a he's over a decade into engaging in this course of
- 18:38activity. Initially, it was just he was
- 18:40just to rob the place. And he, according to his
- 18:44statements, he, you know, she was an attractive young 18 year.
- 18:48Old got a picture of her pretty boy.
- 18:50That's her when she's a blonde. And he reported that when he saw
- 18:53her he couldn't control himself. She was so pretty.
- 18:57So what initially I'm going to the Common Grounds coffee drive
- 19:01through shop. I'm just going to rob it, get
- 19:03some cash, sees how attractive she is.
- 19:06I can't help myself. Yeah, and so he's, these guys
- 19:09become fixated and they start obsessing.
- 19:13And so he initially was, you know, Anchorage in the middle of
- 19:17February is not going to have its traffic.
- 19:18No, like you go to where you're going and you know, so he.
- 19:21And you're staying in your car, you're not out on foot too much.
- 19:25Like it's brutal up. There and there's no no one's
- 19:27going to be suspicious because he was wearing a ski mask.
- 19:31Yeah, and and that's what people would wear that are walking
- 19:32outside. That's right.
- 19:33Because it's provided. Him 5 below 0.
- 19:35Deprived him with that so he was able to monitor the situation.
- 19:40See that? There's 18 year old girl.
- 19:42She works by herself, she does the overnight shift and she
- 19:46locks it up when she finished. So not only does she do the
- 19:49overnight shift, but she's won the locks, the door at night,
- 19:52might have the bag of money to take to the bank, but she's a
- 19:55very vulnerable situation. You know when you're just well.
- 19:57Overnight. I mean the sense that.
- 19:58She did he pre scout her? Oh, so that's something we need
- 20:03to get into. So this wasn't really a random.
- 20:05This was a pre scouted. Yeah.
- 20:06Well, he didn't say like, remember, his rule was never to
- 20:09He didn't have a problem with the robberies in the drill area.
- 20:13It's the snatching someone up and then unaliging them.
- 20:17He's like he wait for that to be travelling out of state.
- 20:20But in this one, he just needed to come up on some money because
- 20:23he was getting ready to go on vacation with his daughter.
- 20:26So again, we're going on a two week cruise.
- 20:27So he's like, OK, I'm going to knock off this.
- 20:29Oh, so he's getting ready to go on a two week?
- 20:30Cruise, Cruise his. Daughter, he needs to catch a
- 20:33knock off common grounds. Knock off the but.
- 20:35While I'm doing that, I can't help myself because she's so
- 20:38attractive that I have to go through my my gamut.
- 20:40Of yes and so now remember the 2 rules are don't engage in
- 20:44discourse of conduct in his geographical area and never use
- 20:47his own vehicle. He broke both of those, yes.
- 20:50And so all the ones that he had done where he had gone
- 20:53geographically very far away, he'd had the kits.
- 20:57He he didn't use his own car. He had a rental car, like you
- 21:00said, flying to Chicago, go to Kentucky.
- 21:03That's some of his things. Those were those were some of
- 21:05the reasons why he was able to stay aloof.
- 21:08Now he breaks his first two. Yes, he breaks the 1st.
- 21:10Geographic. And.
- 21:12I use my personal vehicle. So and he approaches the Common
- 21:16Ground coffee shop and it's the bubbly teen you're doing.
- 21:21So he pulls out the firearm, say, you know, obviously there's
- 21:25a robbery and he has her take, you know, get down on her knees.
- 21:29He spots out the entire area that he directs her, Hey, give
- 21:33me the money. So she goes and he's a cash
- 21:35register. Now keep in mind there's
- 21:36surveillance cameras inside. Right, we have them right here.
- 21:39She produces the money for the guy.
- 21:40Eden jumps in, ties her up, you know, dags her essentially so
- 21:47she's not able to scream. Tells her hey, look, I'm going
- 21:50to. He led her to believe he was
- 21:52kidnapping her for the process of securing a ransom.
- 21:56That's what he's telling. That's what Samantha.
- 21:58Yes, so now he she leaves with him and walks out into the truck
- 22:03and he drives off. They're actually driving around
- 22:06for a little while in his truck and he's allaying her concern
- 22:09like he, this scumbag already knows what he's going to do, but
- 22:10he's trying to keep her mollified.
- 22:12Essentially. And so which is even like, even
- 22:15like. What's shocked?
- 22:18Like I said, all the other ones were bad, but this is like this
- 22:21guy. He's an 18 year.
- 22:22Old. What a fuck.
- 22:23Yeah. And this guy's got a dad and a
- 22:25mom and brothers and maybe a boyfriend and just, you know.
- 22:28Well, she had she was living with her father and yes, she had
- 22:32a book. And this becomes part of the
- 22:33story. And so the he snatches her up
- 22:37and he's taking her. He decides to take her back to
- 22:41his property. Now his property has a shed.
- 22:44He's living with his girlfriend and his 10 year old daughter,
- 22:46right? So he takes her to the shed,
- 22:50ties her up. On his property.
- 22:51On his own property. So now he sends, he decides he
- 22:57is going to ransom he's so he sends to to deflect attention
- 23:02from the investigation. It's obviously going to
- 23:04commence. He sends a text to his boyfriend
- 23:07because earlier her and her boyfriend Dwayne had gotten
- 23:10into. A little dust up.
- 23:12A dust up because she'd been accusing him of being faithful
- 23:16goofy teenage teenage. Teenage shit.
- 23:19And so we both said the same thing.
- 23:21Teenage. Shit, so the the boyfriend was
- 23:22supposed to pick her up when she got off work and so she sends
- 23:28him, hey, you know, I got there in the middle of this dust up.
- 23:32She's going to pick up her, her friends is going to pick her up.
- 23:35She needs time to think about the situation.
- 23:37But she sends him that text, that text, hey, listen, my
- 23:41friends pick me up. Don't worry about it, You know,
- 23:44blah, blah, blah, you're piece of shit, you're cheating on me
- 23:46and blah, blah, blah. Yeah.
- 23:47So, you know, he doesn't show up to pick up.
- 23:50He was. Told not to but then he starts
- 23:52texting earlier on like hey, did you get home OK what's going on?
- 23:55Did and she no response. So then he goes over to her
- 23:58home, talk to the father. Now, of course, you know, the
- 24:02father's concerned. He's raised her since she was
- 24:05two years old, essentially since like a little kid.
- 24:08And they were very close for her to just up and leave without
- 24:12letting the dad know. She had no problems with OPS.
- 24:15Yeah, like she So he starts contacting no response keys, has
- 24:22her phone and so he says, well, what he needed from her was the
- 24:27debit card so he can go make cash withdrawals.
- 24:31Her debit card. Well, she'd have it on him on
- 24:34her. She had it in her boyfriend's
- 24:36car. So now Keys leaves her tied up,
- 24:41goes on the boyfriend's place, breaks into the truck.
- 24:48Now while he's doing that, the boyfriend comes out and there's
- 24:51a confrontation between them. He's just thinking it's just a
- 24:53regular burglar. Some some scumbag trying to
- 24:56break into my car runs the guy off but Keys got the.
- 25:00Debit card, he's got it. Yeah, so the boyfriend is
- 25:03dealing with the missing girlfriend.
- 25:04Didn't put too much data rewarded like.
- 25:06Just just ran off. Some scumbag tried to jump in my
- 25:08truck. Get the hell out of here.
- 25:10Doesn't realize there's not a two and two connection.
- 25:12There, that's right. Now the.
- 25:14Because he's frantic trying to find Samantha along with her
- 25:17dad. And so now in the morning the
- 25:22father and the boyfriend report missing person.
- 25:26But now after Keys gets the debit card, he gets the
- 25:29information from her and he assaults her again.
- 25:36He assaults her at this point. And prior to doing so, he had
- 25:40like this whole little ritual where he was, he had a glass of
- 25:43wine, he drank, smoked a cigar and.
- 25:47Oh, on the prior essays. I know I'm just right here.
- 25:49He's got her in the shed. Oh, OK, So on on this particular
- 25:53assault with Samantha, he has this whole ritual where he
- 25:56smokes a cigar, drinks a glass of wine.
- 25:58And he's telling her what he's going to do and that she's not
- 26:02going to be leaving. Oh.
- 26:05And so like the the on a fear in this 18 year old girl that this
- 26:09point is just profound is just. Because up to this point, she
- 26:11probably thought there, you know, because she driven her
- 26:15around a little bit and but she probably thought it was just
- 26:18he's, he's going to drain my account, you know, But you know,
- 26:21he, he, he hadn't indicated. Yeah, it didn't indicate any
- 26:24physical. Harm, right, You know, and.
- 26:26So there's the, the that moment of terror, not a moment how long
- 26:31the period was, but it was this terror for this poor girl.
- 26:34And of course we know this now because he was later on
- 26:37recounting it. So he he goes through his
- 26:39ritual. Smoking a cigar, Drinking wine.
- 26:43Assaults her and at one point he turns around while she's not
- 26:48looking. Takes his knife, stabs her in
- 26:50the back. This fits.
- 26:52Creates her. She's now deceased.
- 26:56He rolls her up in whatever he's going to conceal her in and
- 27:01leaves him in the shed. At 5:00 in the morning, he wakes
- 27:03up his daughter and they take off to go under.
- 27:08Two week tour on their. Cruise on their cruise.
- 27:10He comes back now. Do you remember this is in
- 27:11Anchorage in February, he said. Now when he returned and he went
- 27:17out to the shed, he was surprised that she looked as
- 27:20lively as she did. Probably because of the frigid
- 27:22temperatures and you know, right, because that preserves,
- 27:26doesn't it? Yes.
- 27:27At what point do you think he switched in his mind that he was
- 27:31going to turn this to a from a ransom to just an alive?
- 27:35Oh I think you missed the timeline.
- 27:38He unalived her. Remember he initially kidnapped
- 27:42her in February 2012 right? Took it her shed, tied her up,
- 27:47turned up the radio the camouflage couldn't scream loud
- 27:50enough and assaulted her. Assaulted her, unalived her,
- 27:55goes on vacation, comes back, discovers 2 weeks later.
- 27:59Oh, that the that the body looks uncannily good.
- 28:02Looks uncannily good, so he said he engaged in necrophilia with
- 28:08her. As if you get any worse.
- 28:10It couldn't get any worse. It just couldn't get any worse.
- 28:12This guy is fucking horrible, right?
- 28:15No, it gets worse. OK, give it to me please.
- 28:19So he, he and now he has the idea, you know what, I'm going
- 28:22to ransom the main make a ransom demand to the family.
- 28:27Now the parent, the father is going crazy.
- 28:30For two weeks he mobilized the entire city of Anchorage.
- 28:33Just 300,000 people looking for a girl.
- 28:35For two weeks because homeboys have been gone on a cruise for
- 28:3810 of days. Strangers have donated shit.
- 28:40They raised, you know, 10s of thousands of dollars for a
- 28:42reward. They've scoured and probably
- 28:45with Air Foot. Every everyone's looking for
- 28:48this poor girl. So he comes back from his
- 28:51vacation, discovers that she's surprised, relatively in good
- 28:55shape, engages in his necrophilia and decides he's
- 28:59going to issue a ransom demand. So what he does is he gets some
- 29:05makeup to the Corp, dolls are up.
- 29:08So that picture that we see. Been on the line for.
- 29:11Two weeks. So that picture that we're going
- 29:13to show or that we showed already, the picture that we
- 29:15showed that was from he. Took a fishing line, sewed her
- 29:20eyelids open, braided her hair, put on her makeup and then took
- 29:28a photograph of. Her with the paper with the
- 29:32today's paper paper. So he was able to demonstrate
- 29:35her that she's alive and this is what I want.
- 29:37He makes issues of demand for 10s of thousands of dollars.
- 29:41So he takes the photograph and a note.
- 29:44He old man manual type typewriter types out the ransom
- 29:49demand on the back of the photograph, a black and white
- 29:52photo, puts it in a Ziploc bag, puts in a location out in the
- 29:56woods, sends a text to her boyfriend, say hey, go out to
- 29:59this, you know. Woods.
- 30:01Third tree behind the pick a fence or whatever the hell it is
- 30:03right and follow the instructions.
- 30:06He goes and recovers, retrieves the.
- 30:08Boyfriend goes and gets the ransom.
- 30:10And of course, the father at this point, there you go, they
- 30:11get the information. She's alive.
- 30:14Because I got the picture that is the most Pete out of
- 30:18everything we've talked about. This was terrible.
- 30:21Out of everything we talked about Go Go guy, the Golden
- 30:24State guy, none of them took an unaligned body, used fish line
- 30:31to keep their eyes open, put makeup on them, propped him up
- 30:34with today's newspaper. Yeah, propped up against the
- 30:37wall. So she's looking up against the
- 30:38wall. And he holds the newspaper to
- 30:41establish, you know, a contemporary photo.
- 30:43This is the proof of life issued to the man in conjunction with
- 30:46the ransom. That's that's next level shit.
- 30:48Next level. I mean, my Lord.
- 30:51And so of course, the father follows the.
- 30:53Instructions and they have no idea to not think that that is
- 30:57you know, they're I mean because she the picture they showed and
- 31:00we'll show it again, it just a black and black and white, you
- 31:05know, technology they had back then you would not know any
- 31:07different. He deliberately did it in black
- 31:09and. White.
- 31:10Yeah, absolutely. And because the contrast.
- 31:14Right. Camouflage and so like you know
- 31:18when she you know but. As a parent, you're just.
- 31:20You're looking for any sign of any hope of of of.
- 31:24There's desperation. And so that pictures, I mean,
- 31:26you're like, Oh my God, we're good.
- 31:27So the father was able to take the money that was raised, you
- 31:31know, the 10s of thousands of dollars that were raised for.
- 31:33To find. The the award for inflation
- 31:36leading to her return took that money and deposited into the
- 31:39bank account. Her bank account because he's
- 31:42got the debit card. So is that what the instructions
- 31:44were? The money in the Samantha's
- 31:46account now the FI of course, is now aware of, doesn't they're?
- 31:51Laying on Yeah, this is really not very smart as as brilliant
- 31:57as he's been in other scenarios that we've talked about the kits
- 32:01and stuff like that, which I want to say brilliant because
- 32:04that makes a person. But you know, the maniacal pre
- 32:08meditation that you never have heard of before is now all of
- 32:13that gets wiped away because now you're having to put it in her
- 32:16account. You know, the feds are laying on
- 32:18it. I mean, they're on it.
- 32:20And so now he's able to do withdrawals in Alaska because
- 32:25wearing the ski mask, if we can go, they know that some some
- 32:28guys withdrawing money, right? But you know, you go, you make
- 32:32the withdrawal, you leave by the time the authorities get there,
- 32:35right? Have you?
- 32:36Already gone, right And I don't know that they have the
- 32:38technology to have like to put that routing number and that ATM
- 32:44number in a system that would alert you immediately that it's
- 32:48like I don't think we even I don't know that we have.
- 32:50That I'm sure that it would have triggered the authorities quick.
- 32:53The problem is just a large geographical area and you don't
- 32:56know where. And it's very rural.
- 32:58I mean, you know, Anchorage is not like, you know, New York
- 33:01City where, you know, I mean, you're talking about, you know,
- 33:05hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of, of, of rural miles.
- 33:09Yeah, so like, and so then he leaves Alaska.
- 33:11Does he go and get the money out?
- 33:13You know he's. Withdrawal, but you're limited
- 33:14in the amount you can withdraw. He doesn't go out and take.
- 33:17Right, like 5-6 hundred bucks. You're limited to your with the
- 33:20the withdrawal cap. A daily cap.
- 33:23Or presumably an 18 year old, or maybe a couple thousand.
- 33:26She doesn't. Have right, right.
- 33:28You know what? Do we know the amount?
- 33:30We don't know what the cap. Is we?
- 33:31No, no, we do. Do we know it?
- 33:32The dad. Some somebody in the neighbor
- 33:35around $30,000. 30,000 that he'd put in her account that they had
- 33:39raised to the community and stuff like that.
- 33:41And so, but like you said, he can't get all 30.
- 33:45No. So he's has to make the the
- 33:46withdrawal. So now he flies from, let's say
- 33:48from Alaska down to California and he goes into Arizona, rents
- 33:53a car or he's got a Ford Focus. And so he starts making
- 33:56withdrawals. Yes, but now he's wearing a
- 33:59disguise, but he can't wear a ski mask.
- 34:01Not in Arizona. Not in Arizona, right?
- 34:03So now he's wearing a disguise and he goes and he does the
- 34:07withdrawal. It's in the car drives off, he
- 34:11stopped. There's another withdrawal, goes
- 34:14from Arizona to New Mexico, from New Mexico, like he's doing
- 34:17withdrawals, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas.
- 34:19Now the FBI knows. Right, but they still you got
- 34:22time. Don't know where he is.
- 34:24He's somewhere off the 10 quarter, essentially.
- 34:26Do they have Intel on the kind of car he's driving?
- 34:28This is where it gets interesting you.
- 34:30Mentioned a Ford Focus. That yes, he the mistake he
- 34:33made. Well obviously all of this is
- 34:35horrible, but the mistake he made was on one of them.
- 34:39He allowed for the photo of for the car to appear in the
- 34:42background. And yes, so he's out here going
- 34:46do, do, do, do, do and the camera shooting here.
- 34:48Like over his shoulder. Whatever, they got a shot.
- 34:50Of they got the Ford Focus, they got, the idiot wasn't smart
- 34:53enough to pull it down the street a little bit, right?
- 34:55That's right. And so then, so that's.
- 34:57That's that's the hiccup 1. Yes, right.
- 34:59So now they're looking for a white Ford Focus with someone in
- 35:04and around A10 quarter, essentially Arizona, New Mexico,
- 35:07all the way out to Texas. Right.
- 35:10He has mechanical problem with the car and so now he takes car
- 35:15up to, you know, let's say it's a budget rental car.
- 35:17He's 2 states over. So he takes the car over to get
- 35:20it swept out. They give him another Ford
- 35:23Focus. Oh, they did.
- 35:26Just just. Just out of happenstance.
- 35:27Right, just out of coincidence, they gave him a white folk, they
- 35:31gave him white. So the so the feds still got the
- 35:33hunt on for the white focus, even though they know that he
- 35:37didn't have they don't know about the car trouble.
- 35:38It just happened. They so that was a brilliance of
- 35:41that was. A That's a shrink of luck for
- 35:43the authorities. And so while he's in Texas,
- 35:47he's, you know, just pulling over these little roadside
- 35:49hotels. One of the things that he did is
- 35:50he didn't leave electronic trails in that he would stay at,
- 35:54like roadside motels. We'd just pay cash.
- 35:56Right. Be like, you know, 81 bucks a
- 35:58night. Yeah, 40.
- 35:59And he's like here. There you go and you just give
- 36:00him the cash as opposed to having to leave, You know, if
- 36:03you fight for him Anchorage to Chicago, he can leave his cell
- 36:06phone there, get a burner phone. So as far as the his phone
- 36:09indicates, he's still in Chicago.
- 36:11He rents the car and then takes off and then comes back.
- 36:14And so that was part of his his methodology to the ability to
- 36:20create a profile of the individual.
- 36:22They can't connect him to other alive wings and they're not
- 36:25going to be able to follow his movements.
- 36:27But in this particular instance, they know about the white Ford
- 36:29Focus. He's staying the night at the
- 36:31hotel, and an astute Texas trooper sees the vehicle like.
- 36:38There's a BOLO on a white Ford Focus.
- 36:41He watches the car, outcomes the guy, outcomes keys, gets in the
- 36:45vehicle, drives off. Trooper's following now at the
- 36:49point and he's looking for any pretext to pull the guy over.
- 36:53Right. And at one point, Keys ends up
- 36:56going like two or three miles up the speed limit.
- 37:00So the cop comes over, you know, trooper pulls him over.
- 37:02Keys, of course, is unaware of what's going on.
- 37:04Sure forgets his ID, Alaska driver's license, but there's
- 37:10been a a BOLO. Right.
- 37:13Looking for somebody from Alaska on.
- 37:16The. Samantha Day on the 10 corridor
- 37:19doing bank withdrawals. Right, that comes up.
- 37:22That comes up because now there's a nation where look be
- 37:25on the lookout type of a notification.
- 37:27They're looking for the Alaska guy in and around the 10
- 37:30Freeway. Driving a white Ford Focus.
- 37:32White Ford Focus making withdrawals on this missing 18
- 37:37year olds bank card, credit card or debit card.
- 37:39Excuse me? And so he sees that he's from
- 37:42Alaska. He's playing it off like
- 37:44everything's fine. He calls in backup.
- 37:46Backup shows up. He arrests the individual.
- 37:50The officer searches the car incident to the arrest and he
- 37:53finds money from a bank robbery he had committed that had ink on
- 37:59it from the explosive pack. So while he was fleeing from
- 38:03Samantha with her card in a white Ford Focus that started in
- 38:08Arizona, he also knocks off a bank, knocks off a bank in the
- 38:13in that. In the stretch.
- 38:15So he's on the middle in the midst of a bank robbery run,
- 38:17right? He's also draining this account.
- 38:20Right while having just on a live somebody in Anchorage,
- 38:23Samantha. This is a few weeks now back.
- 38:25Sure, right. He's just at this point tying
- 38:28completing the offense by extracting the money from the
- 38:31situation. And so he does the bank robbery
- 38:35and he's doing the bank withdrawals, gets pulled over
- 38:39and accessed. The authorities discover Alaska
- 38:40driver's license. They searched the car, money
- 38:43tainted with the dye packs. Probably her debit card.
- 38:46Her debit card got the disguise the individual is using to do
- 38:52the bank. Rob, they do the bank.
- 38:53Withdraw. I mean they got.
- 38:54Him. They got him dead to rights.
- 38:55And they got him dead to rights. Is that what took him?
- 38:57Is that inevitably what? No, he said.
- 38:59At this point, they take him into custody and now the FBI
- 39:02comes in. Now, normally this would be a
- 39:03federal case. Right, because it would be a
- 39:06state case it. Would be a state case involving
- 39:08him doing what he did with respect to poor Samantha.
- 39:11However, the the feds were able to develop a jurisdictional hook
- 39:17because he's actually on a bank robber spree.
- 39:20Through multiple states. And he's in the process of
- 39:24draining the account, the money from Samantha's account.
- 39:27Yeah. So he's doing Grand Theft of of
- 39:30X amount of dollars a day from her account Well crossing state.
- 39:34Lines and bank, it's essentially a bank fraud.
- 39:37It's bank fraud, right? And I'm sure they could hook in
- 39:39like a identity type theft. You have permission to use that
- 39:42stuff. While crossing.
- 39:44Banks and so these are all jurisdictional hooks that the
- 39:47authorities were able to to utilize.
- 39:49And state compared to federal levels.
- 39:51Whole different ball game it would be.
- 39:52Yeah, the resources are, yeah, particularly in Alaska, the the
- 39:55FBI is going to be able to come in just.
- 39:57And so now the FBI, of course, steps and take over the case.
- 40:01And they are able to charge him federally because the homicide
- 40:08was incident to the federal offense.
- 40:10Like there's a most homicides aren't prosecuted as federal.
- 40:14There has to be a federal interest.
- 40:15So we got the feds. They roll in here, the feds roll
- 40:18in. They tell the local guys, we,
- 40:21we're, we're, we got it. We're, we're, they're working in
- 40:23conjunction with the authorities.
- 40:25And so when they get them back to Alaska and the authorities
- 40:30start confronting him with the evidence because at this point
- 40:34they think she's perhaps still alive, like they're trying to
- 40:37say. They have found Samantha yet,
- 40:39have they? No.
- 40:40So while he's in custody in Anchorage, they still haven't
- 40:43found Samantha. This is like, where is she?
- 40:45Unbeknownst to them, she's of course been alive several weeks
- 40:48ago. And after he sent the proof of
- 40:51life photo, he dismembered her, chopped her up and disposed of
- 40:57her in a frozen lake. And so at this point, he once he
- 41:05realizes the jig was up, he told the investigators, hey, look,
- 41:11I'll give you all the details, but what I want is an Americano,
- 41:18peanut butter Snickers and a cigar.
- 41:21So I'll, I'll sit here and tell you all the details where you
- 41:25can potentially find her, what I did.
- 41:26Yeah, he said, he said, he said she is UN alive.
- 41:29I'll give you the details, but I need these things and we'll have
- 41:32a conversation. And this is where he starts the
- 41:35psychological manipulation. He begins with the authorities.
- 41:39Right, Usually they don't start with the authorities the the
- 41:42psychological manipulation, right?
- 41:44That's how sick this. Is yes and This is why.
- 41:47So the the feds were probably like, no problem.
- 41:49Yeah, yeah, I. Just wanted to go get get him,
- 41:51give him whatever he wants. He and he indicated that she's
- 41:54not the only one. And that's how they went and
- 41:57found Bill and Loreen. Well, we're going to get to get
- 42:00to. But you know, so they were
- 42:02actually. Under horrible circumstance.
- 42:03But so we don't the feds and yes.
- 42:08So now they get they got him the interrogation and he starts
- 42:12laying out his conditions. 1 he wants his snacks before the
- 42:16meeting. He also his concern was he
- 42:19wanted he's going to provide the information.
- 42:22He didn't want it released publicly because he didn't want
- 42:26it to harm his. He didn't want his 10 year old
- 42:29daughter to become aware of the gruesome facts.
- 42:32Sorry, but I mean. Well, so do enforce the
- 42:35authorities agree like, OK, we're not going to disclose the
- 42:37information like, you know, they they can charge in public in a
- 42:40document, but they're not going to identify this information
- 42:44the. Information he's given now.
- 42:45This information. Which is really not anybody's
- 42:47business because it's still an active open investigation and
- 42:50maybe the family. At some point, there's going to
- 42:53be those type of disclosures, but at this point he's trying to
- 42:55control the narrative. The narrative because
- 42:58ultimately, like the other two circumstances, the New York
- 43:01individual, the California individual, these are just guys
- 43:04who for them, the physical assault isn't the purpose of
- 43:10what they do. It's the control and the
- 43:15institution of terror, like power and you.
- 43:18Want the common denominator? So far, this is our third.
- 43:21Is that it? It's come in different shapes
- 43:23and sizes. You know, Rex, obviously, you
- 43:26know, then obviously the golden the, the, the golden stick guy
- 43:29last week and now and now Israel.
- 43:32But in some way, shape or form, every one of them had to exert
- 43:37that manipulative power. Like, like it's, it's like
- 43:42almost, it's a prerequisite to be in this business, so.
- 43:46To speak Well, yeah, that's the the the sickness that drives the
- 43:51conduct. You know, like when I was in, I
- 43:53was in federal for a couple of decades and I met numerous men
- 43:56who had a lot of mod dies. Dominic from Philly had 16
- 44:03unalivens and Henry had from New York had 20 unalivens.
- 44:06But none of them were like these.
- 44:07None of them were like that. They.
- 44:09They are all transactional. They, they get a call in from
- 44:11their, you know, their, their tap calls a minute and says,
- 44:13hey, we got a headache out in Jersey.
- 44:15Go, go, go. Take care of.
- 44:16It go make that headache go away.
- 44:18And Antonio goes down there and. Makes He goes down to Drake.
- 44:21He makes the headache go away. But it's not premeditated, It's
- 44:24not anything to do with, it's just.
- 44:25Business, it's just, yeah, like most of the time they don't even
- 44:27know the people that they're targeting.
- 44:29It's like they get a job to go and they do what they got to do
- 44:31and they come. Way different these.
- 44:33Individuals are driven by a compulsive need to institute.
- 44:39Fear. Now let me ask you a question,
- 44:40Pete. This is a personal question.
- 44:42Hopefully we can, you know, have to edit it out.
- 44:44But like having interactions, you know, for over 2 decades
- 44:48with these type of people, you know, and being around all types
- 44:52of different people from fraudsters to, you know, just
- 44:55the the amount of people that you that are in the facility
- 44:58that you were at or several different facilities.
- 45:02Would the people like the Israel keys be looked at way different
- 45:07than the mob guys? There are very few individuals
- 45:10like that. Like that?
- 45:11Like Israel? In general population.
- 45:14Yeah, I was going to say because the mob guys, they're from I, I
- 45:18don't want to say their killings are transactional.
- 45:21They're not personal. They're not to power other than
- 45:26their their family of of of. Yeah, they're resolving it
- 45:30forever. Dispute resolution.
- 45:31Right, right. It has nothing to do with making
- 45:33their calling their wives up and making them in any more mentally
- 45:39messed up. No, no, no, there wasn't any of
- 45:41that. It was just a boom, boom, boom.
- 45:44And so when you did you ever have any interactions with any
- 45:48of these kind of whack jobs? They don't hit the general
- 45:52population. I can say certainly within the
- 45:54Italian Jewish are that man would never walk the.
- 45:58Yard never. Quite frankly, within the
- 46:01Caucasian group of prisoners like the the Whites, whether it
- 46:06be any of the prison gangs or just the independents that are
- 46:10just part of like the wood pile they call themselves, they
- 46:13wouldn't accept this guy. So they got they got Keys.
- 46:16Feds take him to Alaska. He makes these demands.
- 46:19Give me the. The Americano, the snicker and
- 46:23the cigar. What's an Americano coffee?
- 46:25Oh, OK, so give me a a bad ass coffee, like probably Starbucks
- 46:30quality, some kind of high dollar coffee or whatever.
- 46:32A Snickers, which I love Snickers, by the way, and a
- 46:36cigar. I'm not a cigar, so they're
- 46:39like, no problem, he tells them with audio.
- 46:40He tells them about what happens with Samantha.
- 46:42Mantasuka, Mantasuka Lake. Yeah, I can't pronounce it.
- 46:47Yeah, I think it's Mantasuka. Lake.
- 46:48Yeah, so he says he explains what happens and tells him how
- 46:53he how he dispose of the body and he lays down a condition.
- 46:57He tells the prosecutor, look, he will lay out all the
- 47:00information concerning. He says there's not 12. 11 is
- 47:06what he said. But at this point.
- 47:08They only know about the one. They only know Samantha.
- 47:10That's all they know. And.
- 47:11He says, but I'll tell you about the other ones.
- 47:14However, he's insisting upon receiving the death penalty and
- 47:22he doesn't want the information closed and he wants to be on
- 47:24alive within a year. Like he doesn't want to spend a
- 47:26whole time. No appeal.
- 47:27No, no, no, end of. I mean, if there's anything that
- 47:33we can admire about this guy, which I use that term loosely,
- 47:38is I appreciate the fact that he didn't want to use the judicial
- 47:42system as a weapon like most guys do.
- 47:43And, and go 22 years. He's like, you know, no
- 47:46nonsense, let's get this done. I'm a scumbag, you know.
- 47:49He's gonna lay this out. He'll.
- 47:51That's the only. Thing he'll stipulate to it and
- 47:55he he can elect not to appeal, right?
- 47:58Sure. If he elects not to appeal, he
- 47:59knocks the knocks out. He elects not to pursue post
- 48:02conviction litigation. Well, it'd be challenging to get
- 48:07him on a live within a year. Yeah, but within two years,
- 48:09sure. And so he starts leaning out the
- 48:11information. He tells them about everything
- 48:15that happened with Samantha. Right.
- 48:17And then he and then he gives them some Easter eggs that
- 48:19there's a bunch of others. A bunch of others.
- 48:21He's talking about the kids all over the country, and I'll do
- 48:24it. This is a whole other level.
- 48:27Of they're, they're thinking we got A and really they got
- 48:30BCDEFG&H. Sure.
- 48:33Right. And he's of course explaining
- 48:34that look, he robbed these 25 to 30 banks like this time period,
- 48:39like sometime in O5I got one over here in New York, I got 1.
- 48:42So he's just laying it out. So now, of course, it's an
- 48:44enormous undertaking for the FBI because.
- 48:48They have to go and. Well, certainly they have
- 48:50resident offices all over the country.
- 48:51You know, call this guy in New York, he run over.
- 48:53There, but what started as maybe a single on living is now.
- 48:56You know a shitstorm. Yes, right.
- 48:58It's a shitstorm. It's a shitstorm.
- 48:59Yes, and. Well, of course, and the focus
- 49:05of the attention all times turns against the authorities like why
- 49:08didn't you stop this earlier? So now it becomes.
- 49:11So they're kind of defensive. They're the defensive.
- 49:13People are like, hey man, you know what's going on?
- 49:15So when do we find out about? During the course of his
- 49:18investigation, he refers to the incident in Vermont.
- 49:21Right, which had been a year prior.
- 49:23Which happened in just a year. Prior so we're 12 yes when he's
- 49:27you know getting questioned by. Interrogated by the authorities.
- 49:30For Samantha, we're in 12 as he's running through his
- 49:33various, you know, unliving and kits and all this kind of area
- 49:36bank. Rob.
- 49:37Dangling, he's telling about the robberies, he tells about the
- 49:39kits, but he's just dribbling out the information on the
- 49:43unalivings and the same manipulative type gang that for
- 49:50whatever reason he's driving. Some sense of Rolfront and even
- 49:55the investigators later on when they appeared on several of
- 49:58these documentaries about to end of the state, like whenever he
- 50:00would discuss, you know, like he'd be sitting at the edge of
- 50:03his seat. He'd be all excited to see the
- 50:05adrenaline flowing and like for him, it's able to these guys.
- 50:08It was his only way to get off. Still, it was his only.
- 50:11And again, he's a manipulative piece of shit.
- 50:13So the you know, he wants to make a game.
- 50:15This. And so now he's discusses what
- 50:17happens with. And really, it's the only power
- 50:19he has left, right? Yes, yeah, at this point, yeah.
- 50:23And so, you know, on the one hand, it's interesting because
- 50:25he wants to protect his daughter from the activity, but on the
- 50:29other hand, he's, you know, unaliving Samantha at the in the
- 50:34shed on property and his kids in the.
- 50:35House, right, right. And takes her on.
- 50:37Vacation on vacation. Right after he did it.
- 50:39Yes, you know he had the 10 year old girl with him when he was
- 50:42doing the on the 10 freeway. I did not know that so when he
- 50:47was on his spree. He's taking her with like.
- 50:49The white Ford Focus, yes, she's with, yes, I did not know that.
- 50:54So when they take him down, they have to separate.
- 50:56Him and her and her back home Child Protective Services I'm
- 50:58sure to contact your girlfriend or perhaps the the biological
- 51:01mother. Right, so I mean I'm sorry
- 51:04buddy, you don't your your kid to know, but she's you.
- 51:07You got in on a. Car with a, you know, money
- 51:10saturated with. Dye pack.
- 51:12Explosive taint and. So he's the feds got him under
- 51:16the French fry lots. They're talking to him, he's
- 51:18throwing these little Nuggets. He's still being manipulative,
- 51:21playing the power broker game, playing games.
- 51:24He tells him about the. Vermont interested.
- 51:26So now he says, hey, look. So he tells him I'm going from
- 51:29by some anchorage to Chicago. Rents the car in the midst of
- 51:35one of his robbery sprees. He's in Vermont and he just
- 51:38randomly sees this couple. Bill and Bill and the rain.
- 51:43And so now he sees. He just sees him.
- 51:45Yes, so he watched them because he's in, he doesn't have the
- 51:49daughter with him and he's comfortable rural environment
- 51:54and he spots them, he sees that they don't appear to have any
- 51:58visitors, live alone, live a bit of a saluted area.
- 52:02He identifies A abandoned warehouse slash farmhouse
- 52:07nearby. He goes to Bill in the rings,
- 52:10breaks in, kidnaps them. In the course of that break in,
- 52:16he recovers A firearm from the home or he builds firearms.
- 52:21So now he takes them with the firearm he recovered from the
- 52:25house, takes them to the farmhouse slash warehouse,
- 52:29wherever the hell he's the structure that he uses to do
- 52:32what he does. When he gets there, he separates
- 52:36them, takes the husband off and just may have been kind of
- 52:41subterranean room characterized as a basement and takes down
- 52:47there. And of course he's like, what
- 52:48are you doing? Where's my wife?
- 52:49I want to see my wife. According to Keys, it triggers
- 52:55anger in him. So he analyzed the husband right
- 52:58there with his firearm. Right with Bill's own garden.
- 53:02Yes, well, he analyzed the husband goes back to Lorraine.
- 53:05And, and, and like he said, that triggered his, the, the, the
- 53:09husband's sense of urgency or of scaredness or.
- 53:12Yeah, because they up until this point, he's not emotional and
- 53:17that's one of the characteristics that define him,
- 53:20a trait that defines him from the other individuals that are
- 53:23exhibiting some type of anger issues in conjunction with their
- 53:27need to have control. Whereas he's the methodical non
- 53:33emotional. Cool in the pocket, so to speak.
- 53:35So and so when he's does what he, you know, analyze Bill and
- 53:39he goes and and restrains Lorraine.
- 53:43Assaults her and then analyze her.
- 53:45Well before he analyze her, he spends his time assaulting her
- 53:50and then he takes her watch, sports her over to where her
- 53:55husband was and says look, this is your husband.
- 53:58He just wants to exert power. Again.
- 54:00And you know, of course and do. And install fear.
- 54:02And just and so now he sees. So now at this point, she knows
- 54:05that her husband's UN alive. He's, you know, obviously
- 54:08deceased there. And and then he takes a rope and
- 54:13asphyxiates her. It's like like you, why don't
- 54:19you just mean look, you shouldn't have obviously done
- 54:21any of. This why couldn't you couldn't
- 54:22have done it in way less of a barbaric manner?
- 54:25Like you did. Bill, I mean it's it's way more
- 54:27instant and. Yeah.
- 54:28You know just that that and so now with the.
- 54:32Again, it's the, it's the inner psychological gravity of his We
- 54:37can't see, we can't comprehend because we can't comprehend.
- 54:41Like we can't like say like we sit here befuddled because we
- 54:45can't comprehend the the just sickness.
- 54:48We've both done stupid shit in our life that we're not proud
- 54:51of, but we're fundamentally not sickly wired that way.
- 54:56And so he I'm alive both of the Bill and Lorraine.
- 55:02And that was a year before Samantha.
- 55:05You know he provides this information to the FBI during
- 55:08the course of his interrogations post Samantha arrest.
- 55:10Now, what's complicated the investigation was after he
- 55:15unlocked them, he took them camouflaged, some kind of a tarp
- 55:21and the kind of a. Bill and right yeah to.
- 55:23Carpeting, whatever the hell he used like to roll her up and.
- 55:29He. Hid the bodies amidst like this
- 55:32warehouse shed type structure along with a lot of other
- 55:35debris. Well, a few months after being
- 55:40arriving, that structure was torn down.
- 55:44Some construction guys came with an excavator and just.
- 55:48Got rid of everything, including the bodies.
- 55:50Bodies, Sure. So they were never able to
- 55:52recover the body. So now the authorities, in the
- 55:55course of their investigation in Vermont, they're all determined
- 55:57that, yeah, well, these guys are the two people are missing.
- 56:00Yeah, because, but they weren't. Able to recover, but they were
- 56:03able to this guy's, you know, keys emission ties him in with
- 56:07these two missing individuals. But they never did find bodies
- 56:10on them. They never did.
- 56:11So now that information goes for the FBI, gets transmitted to the
- 56:17local police officials in Vermont, that particular
- 56:19Vermont, with the understanding that do not disclose this
- 56:22information publicly because this guy's providing information
- 56:25under the condition that the information doesn't get
- 56:28disclosed to the media. So they can't.
- 56:30The Vermont officials can't go and talk to the guys who
- 56:33excavated the area well. No, they, they, they interviewed
- 56:36them, they was tried. They were determined that the
- 56:38excavation debris went to this particular dump site, but now
- 56:43they're conducting their investigation at that dump site,
- 56:45but it wasn't disclosed publicly that the case has been solved.
- 56:49Sure. Problem for the for the feds in
- 56:52Alaska, however, is that information was shared with the
- 56:55local authorities of Vermont. Somebody in the Police
- 56:57Department leaked it to the local TV station.
- 57:04So now. That information gets
- 57:06publicized. That case has been cracked.
- 57:09The case has been resolved. Killed Bill and Lorraine.
- 57:12They got Israel keys name publicly disclosed from Alaska
- 57:17and this is the circumstances. This is a shitstorm for the
- 57:20feds. No, it's a problem for the feds
- 57:22because that information gets released publicly, he's
- 57:26discovers. And so he's probably full hot.
- 57:29He's full hot. He shuts down all more any
- 57:32additional conversation. So anything they were going to
- 57:34get post Bill in the rain because he was they were playing
- 57:38by his terms. When there's a breach now he's
- 57:42like. Yeah, that because for him, you
- 57:44have to say his goal, in addition to his psychological
- 57:48gamesmanship, was to expedite the implementation of a death
- 57:54sentence. Right.
- 57:55Of him being gone, well. Him laying out the circumstances
- 57:59surrounding numerous other events was going to result in
- 58:04him being charged in multiple venues.
- 58:06He's going to spend 3456. You're going through pre trial
- 58:08proceedings that go to Vermont, get charged.
- 58:10Got to go over here and get charged.
- 58:11Got it. Well, he didn't want to spend a
- 58:13decade. Of travelling to be.
- 58:16You know, county jail to county jail dealing with these
- 58:18different prosecutions. So now he shuts up.
- 58:20Because they they against their word.
- 58:23I mean, right? Well, they shared the
- 58:25information with local offer. The feds didn't.
- 58:27Right. I mean it wasn't the feds fault,
- 58:28it was the local guy. Did they ever find out who the
- 58:31knucklehead was? Or detective leaked it to his
- 58:34buddy. So at that point is that
- 58:35complete the process here with regards to we don't the reason
- 58:40why they they they believe that there's eleven more but he he's.
- 58:45He's shut down at this point. And now during the course of the
- 58:48pretrial proceedings in Alaska, he realizes now he's in a really
- 58:51bad spot. He, during one of the court
- 58:55hearings, tries to endure an escape.
- 58:59He was able to slip and they to this day, they don't understand
- 59:02how he did it, but he was able to get out of his.
- 59:06He was able to disentangle the cuffs that they put the ankle
- 59:10cuffs. Sure.
- 59:11And when and on the federal level, when you're a guy of that
- 59:15type of danger, I mean, they really, they like shackle, Yeah.
- 59:19In pre pre trial cities you're going to be like shackle, 'cause
- 59:21it isn't a jury, it's only in front of a jury.
- 59:23In front of a jury, must you not be look like they try to get put
- 59:27a nice shirt on you and they not?
- 59:28Right. Or if they are going to like
- 59:29shackle you, they're going to have a cloth over the table.
- 59:32Yes, right. But this is a pretrial hearing,
- 59:34and it's part of a. Judge, So you know.
- 59:36But he's able to slip out of him, jumps into the alley,
- 59:41trying to get his way out. People are screaming, yelling,
- 59:44and of course you got the, you know the.
- 59:46The the local. No, her father.
- 59:48Oh, Oh yeah, Samantha. 'S father and all things they're
- 59:51all the civilians like. Get him, get him, kill him.
- 59:55How far does he? He gets he doesn't make it out
- 59:56of the courtroom because the marshals were able to attack
- 59:58him. They Taser him.
- 59:59And they have no idea how he got out.
- 1:00:01No idea how he got out. So now they take him back to the
- 1:00:03pretrial detention facility and they put him in segregated
- 1:00:06housing. I'm sure he was already in
- 1:00:07segregated housing, but now he was, you know, in segregated
- 1:00:09housing because he harmed a young female.
- 1:00:12That's never guys like that have a hard time in prison.
- 1:00:15Right. And so now the individual, he's
- 1:00:17in the shoe. And somehow while when you're in
- 1:00:22the shoe, you're limited, it's what you're going to be able to
- 1:00:24have. Well, your escapes are like, you
- 1:00:26know, what was this comeback? Epstein?
- 1:00:28He was in the shoe. Oh, he was sure, Yeah.
- 1:00:32You know, because those guys are either suicide risks or now he's
- 1:00:37a documented escape risk. Right, right.
- 1:00:41And so they have him in the shoe, and much to the surprise
- 1:00:46of the authorities, he was somehow able to secure a razor,
- 1:00:51which is something you should never have in the shoe.
- 1:00:54Yeah, I, I from, you know, all the movies and stuff that I
- 1:00:56watch documentaries, what have you, Like the shoe, like you're
- 1:01:00allowed, maybe your clothes and like, that's it.
- 1:01:04Yeah, you'll get like a rubber pen like these little pen like
- 1:01:08this long and a rubber. Right.
- 1:01:10And you'll get, like, you know, sheets of paper.
- 1:01:13But like, you're not going to get a shaving kit or you're not
- 1:01:16going to get, you know, anything that you can whittle down to to
- 1:01:19and like, you know, they it's it's highly regulated, right?
- 1:01:23So he but he somehow got a razor.
- 1:01:24Exhibited a razor into the shoe. Now, how would that have
- 1:01:27happened, Pete? Usually in orderly.
- 1:01:31OK, Yeah, Guy that's cleaning at night or guy.
- 1:01:35That's, you know, sweeping him up in the hall.
- 1:01:37Bringing the food. None of the officers.
- 1:01:39The officer bring the food, OK. But it means you have an you
- 1:01:42have an orderly in there passing out the toilet paper, passing,
- 1:01:44you know, dropping off the laundry bags.
- 1:01:47Sure. And the officer then open the
- 1:01:49door. And and so the again, that was
- 1:01:52speculation, but it's pretty informed speculation.
- 1:01:55So what's irresputable is the fact that he had a razor blade.
- 1:01:58And so he created a contraption where to facilitate his suicide,
- 1:02:08he laid out on his bed, took a kind of like, almost like how
- 1:02:16Epstein was able to engineer his suicide, right?
- 1:02:19Took a sheet and he tied it to his ankle.
- 1:02:25Well, he's laying on the bed with the sheet tied to his
- 1:02:27ankle. Right.
- 1:02:28Like almost like he's almost hog tied.
- 1:02:30Almost. He's got his foot up, he's got
- 1:02:32his legs up, and he's writing out what's his, his Death Note.
- 1:02:38They characterize it as manifestos.
- 1:02:39It's like a three page scribe. But in there he has a pentagram
- 1:02:45with 11 skulls. On his On his final.
- 1:02:50On his final note, so he's making statements like, no,
- 1:02:53we're all together now. So it's like him.
- 1:02:55And that's why the authorities are saying he had, he had
- 1:02:58definitively said it. It wasn't 12.
- 1:03:01When he was talking, when he was talking.
- 1:03:03And now, so they've got two data points now.
- 1:03:05They got the suicide note with the skulls depicted on there and
- 1:03:13some pretty hackneyed poetry he was trying to write.
- 1:03:16And he set it up to where he slices his wrists.
- 1:03:22And he had these little milk taners.
- 1:03:24You know, you'd like little cartoons of milk.
- 1:03:26And he used that to collect the blood.
- 1:03:29His own blood. His own blood.
- 1:03:31He spices his wrist. He's collecting his blood.
- 1:03:33He's on the bed. He's got the sheet tied around
- 1:03:36his neck. To his leg.
- 1:03:38And tied to his ankle. Ankle.
- 1:03:40Because once he blacks out from the blood loss, the leg is going
- 1:03:47to drop and when it drops it's going to asphyxiate for sure.
- 1:03:58Wow. All I can say is wow.
- 1:04:01You know, I was reaching like, wow, this is, this is.
- 1:04:04Bizarre and borderline brilliant.
- 1:04:09I mean I I love it because he got a lot.
- 1:04:12I mean a bad person was able to unalive himself and I have no
- 1:04:15problem with. That.
- 1:04:15Yeah, no, yeah, no problem. Tears lost over that, but I mean
- 1:04:18no. Appeal.
- 1:04:19No, it's. Challenging to unalive yourself
- 1:04:20in the chute? Yeah, because it's.
- 1:04:22Because I'm it's so controlled, don't they have surveillance
- 1:04:26too? Not in the cells.
- 1:04:29Not in the cells. Like for when we were pretrial,
- 1:04:33they put cameras into two shoe cells for Kozinski, who was the
- 1:04:38Unabomber, right? And so he's the only inmate that
- 1:04:43I knew or at this point pretrial detainee who was under 24 hour
- 1:04:47surveillance simply because he's such a high power prisoner.
- 1:04:50Was he very volatile? I mean, was he a very sick man?
- 1:04:53No, he was. I mean, obviously he was sick
- 1:04:57for the conduct that he engaged in, but in the limited
- 1:05:00interactions I had with him. I knew that you'd had some
- 1:05:02interactions with him. He was quiet, soft spoken.
- 1:05:06He'd shoot me some books, anything read like I'd, I'd
- 1:05:09grabbed a bar for him and it was just like John Grisham crap.
- 1:05:12And he's like, And so I went and I got a couple of my books.
- 1:05:16I gave him through the books that I had to read.
- 1:05:18And later on I shot him one of my philosophy books and he got
- 1:05:21transferred before and that was. So, Israel, I'm alive.
- 1:05:26Himself, yes. So he collects the blood.
- 1:05:28Collects the blood. That's a choke and traps him to.
- 1:05:30Choke himself. Out sure he is.
- 1:05:32Like a self choking gimmick. Yes, and the shoe officer while
- 1:05:37taking rounds once he allowed himself, he's still draining
- 1:05:41blood. Right, he don't captured so much
- 1:05:43he. Would have captured so much of
- 1:05:44it. And so the officer making his
- 1:05:47rounds saw the red liquid on the floor.
- 1:05:51Right now he's underneath his cheek, like he's on the bed
- 1:05:55underneath his blanket, but he's just laying there at this point
- 1:05:58because his foot dropped. He's choked.
- 1:06:00Right, he's done. He's done.
- 1:06:01And so the officer of course, once he sees the blood, he hits
- 1:06:04deuces. Here comes he calls for medical,
- 1:06:07he calls for, you know, additional backup and they write
- 1:06:11a sound determined that he's UN alive.
- 1:06:15And so he took the information with respect to the specifics to
- 1:06:19the grave. Now, he had mentioned the fact
- 1:06:21that between 2001 and 2005 there were five people he analyzed in
- 1:06:26Washington and on two of them he similar situation to Bill and
- 1:06:32Lorraine. He snatched them up, did what he
- 1:06:35did, and then he anchored the bodies and disposed of them in a
- 1:06:39lake. That was 5.
- 1:06:42There was two of the five that were out in Washington.
- 1:06:45Again, now the authorities have been able to, in the context of
- 1:06:49their investigation, identify people that are saying, OK, he
- 1:06:53said he did this in Kentucky. Well, there was a bank robbery
- 1:06:57and they're accidentally during that same time period.
- 1:06:59There was a. Person this you know, Erica
- 1:07:02comes up missing. Right.
- 1:07:04And so there was a number of these circumstances.
- 1:07:06They were to put a missing person in proximity.
- 1:07:09With a bank robbery. And him being in the area.
- 1:07:12Right. So through travel records,
- 1:07:14through bank robberies and through missing persons, you
- 1:07:18said they were able to piece together probably 11.
- 1:07:20They said, well, he had the he admitted, he implied there were
- 1:07:2411 during the conversations. You had the 11 skulls in the
- 1:07:28suicide note and from the authorities in the course of
- 1:07:32their investigation, they were able to identify a number of
- 1:07:35individuals that coincided with his travels that were missing.
- 1:07:41And so Keys was able to exploit the fact that there isn't a
- 1:07:45national uniform missing persons database, right?
- 1:07:50He was able to capitalize on the fact that he didn't have a
- 1:07:53specific geographical area. He was kind of hitting, hitting,
- 1:07:57hit and go. That's right.
- 1:07:58And it's so much harder to probably find the bad guy you're
- 1:08:02looking for when he's nowhere to be found.
- 1:08:05He is so geographically gone, like, you know, so he's not
- 1:08:08continuing to live in the community, continuing not to put
- 1:08:11little Easter eggs out there. Yeah, you know, like he didn't.
- 1:08:14And unlike the other individuals, the other couple of
- 1:08:16scumbags, like he wasn't communicating with the press.
- 1:08:19He wasn't, you know, he was monitoring the investigations
- 1:08:22later on. You're able to determine through
- 1:08:23his searches, his online searches, but there wasn't like.
- 1:08:26You know, like Gilgo picked up the phone, called the.
- 1:08:29Sister and then DeAngelo was, you know, calling the the
- 1:08:32newspapers or calling the other police departments.
- 1:08:35And so it was. He was very.
- 1:08:38But so dispassionate when we talk, when we talk about Israel
- 1:08:40keys, you know, one of the thing that that we thought we during
- 1:08:46the Samantha situation is that's kind of where he made his first
- 1:08:50mistake in the protocol that he usually held himself accountable
- 1:08:55to. And in fact, in my notes that
- 1:08:57you'd get me, you know, the demanding ransom, the using the
- 1:09:01debit card which allowed him to go on the spree, that kind of
- 1:09:06was all. Yeah, just.
- 1:09:08Kind of like a hobby for him, if you will.
- 1:09:12You know, I think the ransom, I think the taking the picture of
- 1:09:17her and then that got him too far down the road of getting
- 1:09:20caught, meaning like if he would have done a hit and go there, he
- 1:09:24might have had a better they may not caught him as soon.
- 1:09:27I think they let's let's be honest, they caught him because
- 1:09:30he was using Samantha's debt card and had he not if he's did
- 1:09:34a hit and run there he and then alive during the bad things that
- 1:09:39he did. I think the Samantha case is
- 1:09:42what he got sloppy on and why he got caught.
- 1:09:45Thank God. Good.
- 1:09:46Yes, In fact, that's he and he, boy, in the course of his
- 1:09:51interviews, while he was discussing, he said he came up
- 1:09:53with the plan where he was going to start following climate
- 1:10:01related disasters. And so like the next time there
- 1:10:03was a Hurricane Katrina or tornado, tornado or thing.
- 1:10:06Yeah, so he was because he was a construction worker.
- 1:10:08So he was able to say, look, I'm gonna go out to Kansas.
- 1:10:10I got a job so nobody was ever suspicious with him.
- 1:10:13So if there's a tornado. Well, a lot of my a lot, you
- 1:10:18know, a lot of my guys became independent wealthy on Hurricane
- 1:10:21Andrew that hit Homestead. I had a guy, a bunch of guys up
- 1:10:24here that had construction companies with excavators and
- 1:10:27bulldozers. They became independently
- 1:10:29millionaires by going down to Homestead and getting government
- 1:10:34contracts to you know, to clean X amount of neighborhoods and
- 1:10:38they would it was name your price back then.
- 1:10:40So he, this and then yet other sick but brilliant move is you
- 1:10:45follow natural disasters. Because it was going to provide
- 1:10:48the camouflage he needed to be. Able to be in the area.
- 1:10:51So he's like he laid out this is, this is what I've been
- 1:10:53working on right now had you guys not arrested me.
- 1:10:55Yeah, so he actually told him what his next MO was going to
- 1:10:59be. Yes, because he was.
- 1:11:00In the course of dribbling out information, he was keeping them
- 1:11:05on the hook but just giving them bread crumbs, right?
- 1:11:09But he enjoyed the dynamic. Of and until the breach in
- 1:11:12Vermont. Until the breach into Vermont.
- 1:11:13The hard tunnel, what we would have found out, you know, what I
- 1:11:17love about this Pete and, and this podcast, Deadly Intentions
- 1:11:20is that you find these cases that are so sick and in some
- 1:11:25cases more so sick and demented than the ones that we publicly
- 1:11:29know about that do the media for whatever reason takes an
- 1:11:31interest in. And you find these cases that we
- 1:11:34really don't know, know a lot about, but are so demented and
- 1:11:37so just so deep with with with with sickness and psychological
- 1:11:44power. And just, it's unbelievable.
- 1:11:46And I just, I can't thank you enough for all the research that
- 1:11:49you do and how knowledgeable you are, which I think makes for a
- 1:11:52great podcast. Anyway, the podcast is deadly
- 1:11:55intentions with Pete, starring Pete.
- 1:11:58And I'm just A tag along and and we where we break some of these
- 1:12:02lesser known, very, very, very sick and demented people with
- 1:12:07with deadly intentions. But with with with regards to
- 1:12:11that, we're going to talk about other things.
- 1:12:13It's not always going to be about, you know, serial clers.
- 1:12:16It's going to be about just just the just the world that we could
- 1:12:20get in some cartel drug trafficking stuff.
- 1:12:22We could get into some money laundering stuff.
- 1:12:25We could get into life inside of the the penitentiary.
- 1:12:28That's there's a whole protocol with regards to that.
- 1:12:31I talked to Pete one time few hours and was just amazed by
- 1:12:34What Car he was in and some of the things that he was able to
- 1:12:37do. And so appreciate you appreciate
- 1:12:40you sitting through this. I hope that you learned
- 1:12:42something. I'm Bubba.
- 1:12:43He's Pete. This is deadly intentions.
- 1:12:46Look forward to seeing you next time.
