  In college basketball, 2 games are at 9:00 Eastern Time and one

  game is at 11:00 Eastern Time. So hopefully we can get 2 out of

  3 eek out of winning night, which is always the goal.

  But really, guys, we're going to focus a lot on college
• 1:13
  basketball because to me, once you get obviously college
• 1:16
  football ending, which by the way, we'll get to Miami Epic,

  epic cover last night. But once college football's over
• 1:23
  with, of course, NFL, we got a huge Sunday coming up,
• 1:26
  championship Sunday, then the Super Bowl.

  There's only three NFL games left, two on Sunday, Super Bowl.

  And of course, then you'll have really a laser focus what we'll
• 1:35
  try to focus on, which is college basketball because once
• 1:38
  football is winding down and ends, you know, again, if you're
• 1:41
  like me in New England, like it's freezing cold and you got
• 1:43
  like a foot of snow and we're going to get even more snow and
• 1:46
  freezing cold weather. But not too far off is baseball.
• 1:49
  Pitchers and catchers will be about only like 2 weeks away, 3
• 1:53
  weeks away. But then we will have wind
• 1:55
  totals to talk about. But really we're going to focus
• 1:57
  on college hoops because we want to get ready for conference
• 2:00
  tournaments and of course March Madness.

  And when you're deep in the winter like me in New England,

  you got to have something to look forward to.

  So I'm looking forward to the good weather, March Madness and
• 2:08
  of course baseball, which feels far away, but it's not that far

  away. So a three pack of college today

  again, try to go 2 and one, which is always the goal.

  Looking back to our last night, guys finished off the college
• 2:20
  football season in style because Miami covered the number for us.

  You love to see it, but that was a play that we identified way
• 2:29
  back on Thursday, Friday and we really did a good job.

  I think it it ended up not mattering because Miami ended up
• 2:35
  losing by by 627 to 21. So again, that line open around
• 2:40
  7, seven and a half. We had a huge public play toward
• 2:44
  the Hoosiers, got up to 8 1/2. But why we jumped on it late
• 2:47
  last week was that we saw it start to creep back down toward
• 2:50
  8 and actually closed down to 7 1/2.

  And one book even touched 7, I believe.

  So that was just kind of a Hall of Fame classic contrarian play.

  We're only about 23% of spread bets we're on Miami.

  So automatically we want to fade the drunk guys at the BA who

  just are saying, yeah, ham of the Hoosiers, they're going to
• 3:07
  win by double digits. But we stayed true to our

  contrarian mindset. We had the late sharp movement
• 3:13
  back toward Miami beat ended up beating the closing line by a
• 3:16
  decent margin. And then also shout out to our
• 3:19
  friends at Rhythm. If you remember mentioning it on

  the pod, but also from the Rhythm live stream, the rhythm

  Last Thursday, my buddy Kate and I were talking about him were

  saying, OK, everyone's playing Hoosiers.

  Therefore, automatically if we want to go Miami, but at the

  time and leading up until kickoff, rhythm was always

  saying, you know, the play there is Miami because there were two

  So first, but on the board for me, I told you these are all

  Let's set the stage talk split system matches and I'll give you

  my play for this one. So SMU comes in 13 and 5:00.

  They have dropped three of their last four however just lost to

  Virginia 72 to 68 did not cover as a 2 point home dog.

  Meanwhile Wake 11:00 and 7:00 on the year did just snap A2 game

  losing skid though with a 6968 win over Florida State.

  Didn't cover though as a 1 1/2 point Rd. favorite.

  So what have you seen across the?

  Market here. Well, this came open.

  SMU listed around a 1 1/2 point Rd. favorite and the public just

  thinks SMU is the far better team.

  They had been ranked for a good portion of the year.

  They have a better record 13 and five verse wake 11:00 and 7:00.

  So public is just saying, hey, this line's too low, let's hit
• 5:29
  SMUSMU should be, I don't know, favored by three or four.

  However, even though 71% of spread bets are backing the
• 5:36
  Mustangs, Mustangs are not up to -2 - 3.

  No, this line is kind of gone the other way.

  We've now seen Wake Forest go from plus 1 1/2 now to some

  shops -1 some shops -1 1/2. Now.

  This number has been all over the place, I fully admit.

  And you have some opportunities here because I'm seeing, let me

  just give an example. Bet MGM has wake -1 1/2.

  FanDuel has Wake plus 1 1/2 -, 128.

  DraftKings has Wake plus 1 1/2 -, 122.

  But Caesar's has wake -1 the score has wake -1 1/2.

  Bally Bet has Wake minus 1/2 point.

  So this is the ultimate game where, you know, to me, the play

  is Wake for us. I'll continue to explain why,

  But it's also an example of getting the best price because
• 6:24
  you have options here. You can go money line Wake.
• 6:27
  You could lay a, you know -1 -, 110 on Wake.
• 6:31
  You could also get Wake at plus 1 1/2 juiced up -120 -, 128.

  So it depends on your preference here, but just building the
• 6:39
  case. Regardless, we're seeing
• 6:41
  liability and movement toward Wake Forest even though SMU is
• 6:45
  the big public play getting 71% of tickets.
• 6:47
  That's the meat and potatoes of why I want to fade SMU popular
• 6:51
  and go with that unpopular sharp RLM play with Wake Forest.
• 6:55
  Now Wake Forest only getting 29% of spread bets, but 62% of
• 7:00
  spread dollars at DraftKings. So really good low bets, higher
• 7:03
  dollars sharp contrary and split.
• 7:05
  This is a 9:00 game pretty heavily bet.
• 7:08
  So you have that contrarian opportunity as well.

  Not quite like you know, Miami last night, but still a a
• 7:13
  heavily bet late night game in college.

  Also you look over at circa 50% spread bets, but 95% of spread
• 7:21
  dollars are on Wake Forest. So both DraftKings and circa low
• 7:25
  bets higher dollars line moving toward Wake technically you.

  Could say wake is. Again, this work gets nitty
• 7:31
  gritty because you know, Wake technically is a dog at some
• 7:34
  shops plus 1 1/2, so therefore they would be a home conference
• 7:37
  dog with a line move in their favor. 50 and 35 ATS, 59

  percent, 13% ROI this year. But again, some shops are now -1

  -, 1 1/2 Wake. So this line's all over the

  place. So becomes a decision to you of

  of how you want to play Wake Forest.

  Now, Wake does have the better defensive efficiency, 47th in
• 7:58
  the country versus 83rd. They force a higher percentage

  of turnovers, 12th versus 89th. And then again, home Rd. very
• 8:05
  important to me. Home Wake Forest is 8 and three
• 8:08
  Rd. SMU is 1 and 3.

  So you have options here. You can go money line wake -110

  -, 115. You can go plus 1 1/2 at -1 one

  10 - 120 - 130. I jumped on Wake plus 1 1/2 -

  118. That was at Valley Bet earlier

  today. So to me, the whole point is,

  you know, do you want to pay a little more juice to protect

  yourself just because if wake loses by 1, you want to cash

  that or do you want to get a little bit more bold?

  You still have a + 1 1/2 -, 122 at DraftKings, which would be

  your best number. So I'm, I'm sweating the plus 1

  1/2 because to me it was, it was worth a little more juice just

  on the off chance again, odds makers are saying it could be a

  basically a pick em game. But if you wanted to go money

  line, you wanted to go -1 totally up to you.

  But I did take wake plus 1 1/2 at -118 So let's go Demon

  Deacons next one for you. Another 9:00 Eastern Time game.

  Yeah, another one, 9:00. We got Georgia visiting Mizzou.

  Now Georgia comes in 15 and three on the year, ranked 21st

  in the country. They've rotated wins and losses,

  however, over their last four games.

  Just beat up on Arkansas 90 to 76 easily covered as a 2 1/2

  point home favorite. On the other hand, Mizzou 13 and

  five on the year unranked. They have dropped two of their

  last three and just came up short against LSU, 78 to 70.

  Did not cover as a 1 1/2 point Rd. dog so.

  What have you seen across the market here?

  Well, this game opened basically Mizzou around A and again,

  here's another game where just these lines are all over the
• 9:43
  place that you're not really getting a consensus with either
• 9:45
  SMU Wake or Georgia Mizzou. But anyway, we open most shops
• 9:49
  around -1 Mizzou. And right off the bat, that's
• 9:53
  important to me because Missouri, yes, they have
• 9:55
  homecourt advantage, but they're unranked 13 and five.
• 9:58
  Why should they be favored against the 15 and 3 ranked 21st
• 10:02
  Georgia Bulldogs team Public is saying automatically the wrong
• 10:05
  team is favored. So you're getting 62% of spread
• 10:08
  bets going with Georgia. However, even though Georgia's
• 10:12
  getting the majority tickets, we've pretty much stayed -1 1/2
• 10:16
  with Mizzou or sorry -1 with some books up to -1 1/2 Mizzou.

  Now, the reason why I say it's all over the place is because I

  do see BET online or sorry BET MGM offering Missouri plus 1 1/2

  - 125. So there are like some outlier

  books still giving you the 1 1/2 really juiced up.

  But most of these books are -1 -, 1 1/2 Mizzou, even though

  public is on Georgia. So Long story short, if you like

  the spot Wake is in public, SME line going awake, you like
• 10:48
  Mizzou as well. Public Georgia Line going to
• 10:50
  Mizzou. Now Mizzou is kind of showing
• 10:53
  that line freeze with the majority tickets.

  Georgia, but pretty much stayed the same or ticked up toward
• 10:58
  Missouri. But also we have good splits at
• 11:01
  DraftKings. Only 38% of spread bets, but 48%
• 11:04
  of spread dollars are on Mizzou. They'd also be a top bet against
• 11:08
  the public play. This is one of the most heavily
• 11:09
  bet games of the night and majority tickets are on Georgia,
• 11:12
  so I want to go with Missouri here.

  You look at the splits of DK 35% bets or sorry, money line play
• 11:21
  here because again, I don't want to lay A1 1 1/2 win by one I
• 11:24
  lose or push my bet. So I really like the money line

  play here. My play was Mizzou on the money

  line. I got him at -1 O 5 a little bit
• 11:32
  earlier today. Again, it's up to you if you
• 11:34
  want to go plus 1 1/2 -, 125 a bet MG.

  I'm not going to argue with you. Just that's getting a little bit

  expensive. And I figured, hey, money line

  minus one O 5 was a pretty short price.

  Well, now you're seeing most money lines around -110 - 115.

  So still not a not a very expensive play, but the money
• 11:51
  line tickets look really good at DK 35%.

  That's 70% dollars on Missouri. Missouri is the classic buy low

  value play as an unpopular ranked home team against the
• 12:02
  sell high ranked and trendy Rd. team.

  You technically would now be the unranked home favors ranked
• 12:08
  opponent system that we love. It's five and two ATS this year.

  It's also five and two straight up.

  It is 65 percent, 6% ROI straight up, I believe.

  Since when was that 2020? And then lastly, Mizzou a

  perfect 11 and O at home. So again, we've kind of had

  these lines all over the place. It tells me that again, you're

  just maybe taking different action or, you know, different

  clientele trending or juicing or shading this line toward either
• 12:35
  the public side or the the sharp side.

  But public's all over Georgia. They're the ranked team.

  They're the better team, right? But no, Mizzou has stayed pretty

  steady -1 -, 1 1/2. So I did play Mizzou on the

  money line minus one O 5. And hopefully they can they can

  play well at home again, which they are 11 and O so far this

  season. I forgot to mention too, with

  Wake. Wake had a 17% sharp mush edge

  love Kansas. Here's the thing about being a

  sports better. I'm betting against Kansas

  tonight, but took him as a dog against Iowa State, they came

  through. Took him as a favorite against

  Baylor, they came through. We got to be prepared to bet on

  a team one night and then bet against on the other if the data

  backs it up. Additionally, we have Colorado

  with a few edges here stat wise. Better effective field goal

  percentage, 73rd versus 82nd. Better turnover percentage, 37th

  versus 52nd, so they take a little bit better care of the

  ball, better offensive rebound percentage, 87th, 1st, 250th and

  better free throw shooting, which could be big in a tight

  So that hopefully that altitude is a benefit here toward the
