- 0:39Speaker 2: In the Middle East, Deron Stark Israel. Israel retaliated even
- 0:42Speaker 2: though Trump told them not to. We will let you
- 0:44Speaker 2: know what we can figure out about where things stand
- 0:46Speaker 2: this morning. Trump also with an explosive interview with Kristen Welker,
- 0:50Speaker 2: almost literally massive rain and thunderstorms in the background.
- 0:54Speaker 4: He raged quit at one point. There were a lot
- 0:56Speaker 4: of interesting.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Comments about Iran so we'll break that down for you
- 0:58Speaker 2: as well. Intel community is raising the red flag about
- 1:03Speaker 2: Israeli unhinged, that's their words, spying efforts against the United States.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Soccer has some exclusive information on that one. We're going
- 1:10Speaker 2: to take a look at the stock market. The Asian
- 1:12Speaker 2: markets actually were in freefall. US market's also down significantly
- 1:16Speaker 2: on Friday. We'll see what's going on there. And Jess
- 1:19Speaker 2: Stine is going to join us. Has been a while
- 1:20Speaker 2: since we've had him on the show. He's been actually
- 1:22Speaker 2: out writing a book. He comes back with a very
- 1:25Speaker 2: significant scoop about what OpenAI is asking the White House
- 1:29Speaker 2: to do. And we also want to talk to him
- 1:31Speaker 2: about that imminent SPACEXIPO which is going to make Elon
- 1:35Speaker 2: Musk a trillion ere and seems to be designed to rob.

- 2:00Speaker 3: a podcast, share an episode with a friend. But let's
- 2:02Speaker 3: go ahead and start with all of these breaking developments.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Missiles flying all over the Middle East.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yes, so if you will rewind, if you will to
- 2:10Speaker 2: last week, you'll recall that Saga and I brought to
- 2:13Speaker 2: you the news that supposedly Israel.
- 2:15Speaker 4: And Lebanon had a ceasefire.
- 2:16Speaker 2: This was very significant because Iran has always said Lebanon
- 2:20Speaker 2: needs to be included in the ceasefire, and there is
- 2:23Speaker 2: no ceasefire if Lebanon is not included. However, almost immediately
- 2:26Speaker 2: Heswela came out and said, we don't agree to this
- 2:28Speaker 2: because this includes the IDF remaining in Lebanon and forces
- 2:32Speaker 2: are withdrawal. So they continue to fire on northern Israel.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Israel continue to fire at Lebanon and Beirut in particular.
- 2:41Speaker 4: And Iran, rather than.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Standing back and watching this and effectively, you know, looking
- 2:46Speaker 2: like they're not good to their word and that this
- 2:48Speaker 2: is at an important red line, did something quite extraordinary here,
- 2:52Speaker 2: and they decided to go ahead and strike inside of
- 2:55Speaker 2: Israel for the first time in quite a while. Let's
- 2:58Speaker 2: go ahead and take a listen to Trey Yengs, Fox
- 3:00Speaker 2: News correspondent who was on the ground there as this
- 3:02Speaker 2: was unfolding.
- 3:03Speaker 4: This is breaking news.
- 3:05Speaker 5: Iran is launching a missile attack against Israel as we speak.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Sirens are currently sounding across the northern city of Haifa,
- 3:12Speaker 5: Israel's third largest city. We will be live on Fox
- 3:15Speaker 5: News with this update. We do expect more information shortly.
- 3:19Speaker 5: But again, these launches are coming from Iranian territory and
- 3:22Speaker 5: are in response to the Israeli strikes against the Lebanese
- 3:26Speaker 5: capital of Beirut earlier today.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So Israel, of course looking for any excuse to get
- 3:30Speaker 2: back to war making. They do not want any sort
- 3:33Speaker 2: of a deal to resolve this war between the US
- 3:36Speaker 2: and Israel versus Iran. However, Trump came in and told
- 3:40Speaker 2: a number of reporters immediately that he did not want
- 3:45Speaker 2: Netnyahu and Israel to retaliate.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Let's go and put a four up on the screen here.
- 3:50Speaker 2: This is from Barack Ravied, of course, one of Trump's
- 3:52Speaker 2: favorite reporters on these matters. He spoke with Trump on
- 3:56Speaker 2: the phone. Trump said the Iranian strikes did not hurt
- 3:59Speaker 2: anybody hopefullull. Israel is not going to retaliate if Bbe
- 4:02Speaker 2: strikes them back. It's just going to keep going like
- 4:05Speaker 2: the last forty seven years or the last three thousand years.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I don't know what he's talking about there.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Trump added, we are very close to a final deal
- 4:11Speaker 2: with Iran. It is going to be a good deal.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I don't want it to blow up because of what
- 4:15Speaker 2: is happening now, and stressed, I am going to call
- 4:18Speaker 2: Bebe right now, which reporting says he did, and tell
- 4:21Speaker 2: him not to retaliate. Each of them had their fun.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Israel had its strike and Iran had its strike. We
- 4:28Speaker 2: don't need another one. He also spoke with the Financial Times.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Let's put the next element up on the screen here
- 4:34Speaker 2: as well. Is it's really Prime Minister Benjamin Netnaho will
- 4:38Speaker 2: have no choice but to accept whatever deal the US
- 4:41Speaker 2: negotiates with Iran. Donald Trump said, because the US president
- 4:44Speaker 2: quote calls the shots, he won't have any choice. Trump
- 4:48Speaker 2: told the FT in a telephone interview. I call the shots.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I call all the shots. He does not call the shots.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So bron strikes Israel. The present comes out and says
- 5:01Speaker 2: to numerous reporters, I do not want Israel to retaliate,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and I call the shots, and I'm in charge. Lo,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and behold what happened next? Israel went ahead and retaliated.
- 5:15Speaker 2: We can put this next element A to B up
- 5:17Speaker 2: on the screen. Here you can see the vo there
- 5:20Speaker 2: on the side. The video of some of the strikes
- 5:23Speaker 2: inside of Iran. Drop site says Israel strikes targets across Iran.
- 5:27Speaker 2: The Israeli Air Force has struck sites in western and
- 5:29Speaker 2: central Iran, with explosions reported across multiple cities. The IDF
- 5:33Speaker 2: said in an initial statement it had struck quote military
- 5:36Speaker 2: targets belonging to the Iranian terror regime in western and
- 5:39Speaker 2: central Iran, adding details would follow. Iranian state broadcasting confirming
- 5:43Speaker 2: multiple explosions in Tehran, Tabreeze and Ispahan.
- 5:45Speaker 4: The scale and.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Impact of the strikes remain unclear. Next element here A
- 5:50Speaker 2: to D. We get confirmation here from the IDF several
- 5:54Speaker 2: infrastructure sites. This is from the IDF at the petrochemical
- 5:57Speaker 2: complex in masha Are in southwestern Iran. These facilities were
- 6:02Speaker 2: used by the armed forces of the Iranian terror regime
- 6:04Speaker 2: to produce and export raw materials for weapons production. The
- 6:07Speaker 2: targeted infrastructure produced unique materials that serve as critical components
- 6:11Speaker 2: for the development of ballistic missiles. So confirmation from both
- 6:15Speaker 2: the IDF and from the Iranians that Israel did in
- 6:18Speaker 2: fact retaliate within Iran against this petrochemical facility, and Iran
- 6:23Speaker 2: in response sent several more missiles into Israel. We can
- 6:28Speaker 2: put these images up on the screen here. You hear
- 6:31Speaker 2: the sirens, and this is very significant because you see
- 6:34Speaker 2: the missile coming in, You see the attempted interception which fails,
- 6:39Speaker 2: and then this is a what appears to be a
- 6:42Speaker 2: strike to the ground inside of Haipho, which also Soger belies.
- 6:46Speaker 2: You know, Israel's claiming that they were able to intercept
- 6:48Speaker 2: all of these, it does not look that that was
- 6:49Speaker 2: the case. So the very latest after all of this
- 6:52Speaker 2: unfolded this morning, is Trump had this to say on
- 6:56Speaker 2: true social life. Both sides, Israel and Iran, are to
- 7:00Speaker 2: do an immediate ceasefire. Final negotiations on peace in quotes
- 7:05Speaker 2: are proceeding. Subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way.
- 7:09Speaker 2: The blockade will remain in place and in full force
- 7:12Speaker 2: and effect until a final deal is reached.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Things should move quickly.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump,
- 7:19Speaker 2: of course, just in time for the markets however, soccer.
- 7:22Speaker 2: The Iranians seem to be accepting this from Trump at
- 7:25Speaker 2: least for now.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Let's go and head and then put the latest A
- 7:28Speaker 3: nine B please up here on the screen. Breaking now
- 7:31Speaker 3: from the Iranians. A response from the Iranian government the accordingly,
- 7:36Speaker 3: the armed forces operations are declared to be halted. However,
- 7:40Speaker 3: it is emphasized that if aggressions and atrocities continue, including
- 7:44Speaker 3: in southern Lebanon, much harsher and more crushing actions than
- 7:47Speaker 3: before will be on the way. The reason why this
- 7:50Speaker 3: is so significant note here the Iranian statement makes clear
- 7:54Speaker 3: it is not just applicable future strikes if they strike
- 7:58Speaker 3: the Dahia district in Beirut, it explicitly includes all of
- 8:02Speaker 3: southern Lebanon, which is all currently occupied by the State
- 8:05Speaker 3: of Israel and where ongoing war operations have continued now
- 8:09Speaker 3: for over a month. This demonstrates explicitly that they have
- 8:13Speaker 3: actually moved the red line from strikes on Beirut to
- 8:16Speaker 3: southern Lebanon, effectively saying that the precondition for a ceasefire
- 8:20Speaker 3: means that Israel must leave southern Lebanon because that's the
- 8:23Speaker 3: only time that quote aggressions and atrocities will continue.
- 8:26Speaker 6: A eight.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Please let's also put that up here on the screen.
- 8:29Speaker 3: This is from Jeremy. He released this late yet last night.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Iranian official says at this point, reaching agreement with Trump
- 8:36Speaker 3: is not feasible. The primary person responsible for the current
- 8:38Speaker 3: situation is Donald Trump himself, the Iranian official told Jeremy Scalhie,
- 8:42Speaker 3: referring to Israel's massive escalation in its attacks against Lebanon
- 8:45Speaker 3: and Iran's retaliatory strikes. Should Israel carry out another attack
- 8:48Speaker 3: in Beirut in the coming days, missiles will immediately target
- 8:51Speaker 3: areas within the occupied territories in retaliation. For nearly twenty days,
- 8:55Speaker 3: the draft of the potential agreement has been on Trump's desk,
- 8:58Speaker 3: saying that Trump is driven by his fear of the
- 9:00Speaker 3: Israeli lobby and is hope that the naval blockade plan
- 9:03Speaker 3: will prove effective. Iran will no longer accept or tolerate
- 9:07Speaker 3: his current position. There also is a majorly important footnote
- 9:11Speaker 3: to this entire thing. One of the preconditions for a
- 9:14Speaker 3: memorandum understanding was a genuine belief from the Iranian side
- 9:17Speaker 3: that the Israel the United States could actually restrain Israel
- 9:21Speaker 3: if it wanted to. Now we have just had explicit
- 9:24Speaker 3: proof of either two things. One, Trump used the cover
- 9:27Speaker 3: of going forward and saying and telling all these reporters
- 9:30Speaker 3: immediately in the moment, I don't want them to strike.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I call the shots. They need to stop firing. Three
- 9:35Speaker 3: separate true social posts all throughout the night, all saying
- 9:38Speaker 3: they need to stop quote shooting. I don't know why
- 9:40Speaker 3: that was in quotes, but that's what he said, they
- 9:42Speaker 3: need to stop quote shooting. What this proves definitively is
- 9:46Speaker 3: that the US does not have the current capability under
- 9:49Speaker 3: the Trump policy to actually restrain Israeli action. If he's
- 9:52Speaker 3: going to explicitly say they can't strike and they do
- 9:55Speaker 3: strike anyways, this proves two things. He's either feckless and
- 9:58Speaker 3: useless and or he greenlit the strike otherwise. By the way,
- 10:01Speaker 3: just to make very very clear from the Iranian side,
- 10:03Speaker 3: which they're actually correct about. It's not like US Sentcom
- 10:06Speaker 3: data wasn't used in all of these targeting. It's not
- 10:09Speaker 3: like ISR and refueling tankers USU refueling tankers are all
- 10:13Speaker 3: up in the air. And were scrambled from Bengarian airport.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Did they refuel Israeli tankers? No confirmation currently from SITCOM.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Second to that, as the Israelis themselves have acknowledged this morning,
- 10:23Speaker 3: many of the intercepted Iranian missiles were shot down by
- 10:27Speaker 3: US systems and or with US targeting data, which demonstrates
- 10:31Speaker 3: that we are actively involved in a lot of the
- 10:34Speaker 3: defense of the State of Israel. So even though we
- 10:37Speaker 3: may not necessarily be explicitly bombing them, we are supporting Israel.
- 10:41Speaker 3: We're giving them targeting data, and we backed them up
- 10:44Speaker 3: whenever it came time because they were shot at. Remember
- 10:47Speaker 3: that in many cases this reporting from the Washington Posts
- 10:49Speaker 3: over a month ago. Now at this point it proved
- 10:52Speaker 3: explicitly and many times the United States spent its precious
- 10:55Speaker 3: stockpile at the behest of conserving Israeli ammunition.
- 10:59Speaker 1: So this is only furthering that.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Remember, we have a very very limited amount an over
- 11:04Speaker 3: five year time period now in order to replace what
- 11:06Speaker 3: was already used just in the thirty nine day conflict.
- 11:09Speaker 3: And this comes on the heels now of renewed firing.
- 11:12Speaker 3: But I think what this demonstrates more than anything is
- 11:15Speaker 3: that despite what Trump keeps saying, is that we're going
- 11:17Speaker 3: to closer and closer and closer to a deal. It
- 11:19Speaker 3: proves the opposite, because this was a critical test from
- 11:22Speaker 3: the Iranian side. Number one, they have to prove deterrence.
- 11:25Speaker 3: They said explicitly, if you strike Beyrout, we're going to
- 11:28Speaker 3: bomb you.
- 11:28Speaker 1: They struck bea route. They went ahead and bombed them.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Israel also, by the way, struck the Iranian Foreign ministry.
- 11:33Speaker 3: So I'm just waiting for the news, inevitable news. Some
- 11:36Speaker 3: negotiator somewhere has been killed, don't you know, Just wait
- 11:39Speaker 3: twenty four hours. Yeah, I'm sure we'll get some confirmation.
- 11:42Speaker 3: But the bottom line, bottom line Trump was not able
- 11:45Speaker 3: to restrain Israel, or he decided or he actually supported
- 11:48Speaker 3: it again. Either way, it moves you further away from
- 11:52Speaker 3: an agreement. Is you cannot have an agreement with a
- 11:55Speaker 3: bilateral agreement when you have this tertiary party which is
- 11:59Speaker 3: rampaging through Lebanon and also is continuing to break many
- 12:03Speaker 3: of the terms of the ceasefire. Literally, the United States
- 12:05Speaker 3: currently is engage and a potential further war with Iran,
- 12:11Speaker 3: all because Israel wants to occupy southern Lebanon and Bombbay.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Route at will and basically.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Keep this country subjugated so that they can control it
- 12:20Speaker 3: and probably even occupy it for all of eternity. That's
- 12:23Speaker 3: what this entire thing is about. Is that worth paying
- 12:26Speaker 3: four dollars and fifty cents a gallon whenever it comes
- 12:28Speaker 3: to gasoline.
- 12:29Speaker 2: You're absolutely right that it almost doesn't matter whether Trump
- 12:32Speaker 2: was just doing this whole Israel stop for show or
- 12:35Speaker 2: whether he actually meant it and they were defied. Either way,
- 12:39Speaker 2: the Iranians are going to be looking at this and saying,
- 12:41Speaker 2: you're either unable or unwilling to restrain Israel, and they have,
- 12:46Speaker 2: especially with this latest round of attacks directly at Israel,
- 12:51Speaker 2: has made it clear that they will enforce this red
- 12:54Speaker 2: line on no hostilities against Lebanon, that Lebanon has to
- 12:58Speaker 2: be included in any ceasefire and certainly in any more
- 13:02Speaker 2: extended piece. I wanted to put up a treat to
- 13:06Speaker 2: Parsi's analysis here. This is a eleven because with regard
- 13:10Speaker 2: to Lebanon in particular, he made a really important point here.
- 13:14Speaker 2: He said, the magnitude of what just happened may take
- 13:17Speaker 2: some time to sink in. This is the first time
- 13:18Speaker 2: Iran has struck Israel after Israel struck another country's territory
- 13:22Speaker 2: that is not Iran.
- 13:25Speaker 4: That means the battle lines have been moved.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Iran's deterrence had already been restored in the sense Israel
- 13:30Speaker 2: knew any strike and it would be responded to. But
- 13:32Speaker 2: now Iran has proven it will also respond to Israeli
- 13:36Speaker 2: strikes on Lebanon. This is the first time in decades
- 13:40Speaker 2: that a regional power has the means, capacity and willingness
- 13:45Speaker 2: to put hard power against Israeli military maneuvers or aggression
- 13:49Speaker 2: against a third party, and one wonders whether that may
- 13:52Speaker 2: also ultimately be extended to Gaza, to Palestine, to the
- 13:57Speaker 2: occupied territories as well. And just think of what we've
- 14:00Speaker 2: experienced over the past several years, where not only has
- 14:03Speaker 2: Israel been committing genocide in Gaza, but has bombed seven
- 14:07Speaker 2: different countries over the past several years, and no one
- 14:11Speaker 2: really did anything about it. The Houthis and Yemen they're
- 14:14Speaker 2: the only ones that really did anything about it, and
- 14:16Speaker 2: obviously they're not strong enough or in a position to
- 14:19Speaker 2: fully stop or check Israel's ambitions. The fact that Iran
- 14:23Speaker 2: now has the capacity and the willingness to do this
- 14:26Speaker 2: at all is a sea change, and that is exactly
- 14:29Speaker 2: why the fact that Iran has that capability is exactly
- 14:33Speaker 2: why Israel is absolutely committed to their destruction. The Israeli
- 14:37Speaker 2: view of security is that they have to have absolute security,
- 14:41Speaker 2: meaning that no one around it, whether it's Iran or
- 14:43Speaker 2: whether it's in the future Turkey, can have even the
- 14:46Speaker 2: ability or the possible capacity to check their ambitions for
- 14:50Speaker 2: the greater Israel project. And that's what Trita is pointing
- 14:53Speaker 2: to here. Doctor Parci's pointing to here is the fact
- 14:56Speaker 2: that this really is a new dawn of an era
- 14:59Speaker 2: in the Middle EA, least in terms of Iranian ability
- 15:01Speaker 2: and willingness to check some of Israel's most insane, you know,
- 15:06Speaker 2: rogue state behavior that we've experienced for however many years.
- 15:10Speaker 2: At this point moving forward, just to just to recap
- 15:13Speaker 2: where we are, so, we had the strikes back and
- 15:15Speaker 2: forth between Lebanon and Israel. We have Iran responding with
- 15:18Speaker 2: strikes inside Israel. We have Israel responding to Iran. Then
- 15:22Speaker 2: we have Trump coming in and saying, you know, we've
- 15:24Speaker 2: got to We're going to have this cease farre and
- 15:26Speaker 2: Iran accepting it. At this point but Sagar, I think
- 15:29Speaker 2: if we look at Jeremy's reporting here, no one should
- 15:31Speaker 2: be under any illusion that Aroan like takes Trump's word
- 15:34Speaker 2: for anything. They have consistently had their red lines. They've
- 15:40Speaker 2: had a consistent position on what a deal would look like.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It has been on Trump's desk for weeks. But Trump
- 15:47Speaker 2: is unable, unwilling to be able to actually conclude this
- 15:51Speaker 2: thing because of the level of humiliation it would require
- 15:54Speaker 2: him to accept. The whole world would see very clearly
- 15:57Speaker 2: what a massive strategic loss this was for the United States.
- 16:01Speaker 2: And also he has been unable or unwilling to restrain Israel,
- 16:05Speaker 2: which it's very clear at this point Iran is not
- 16:08Speaker 2: going to allow.
- 16:09Speaker 3: That to disc ex And I think this is so important.
- 16:11Speaker 3: You coming back to the previous post that we had
- 16:15Speaker 3: from Trump, where he keeps saying things like, don't worry,
- 16:18Speaker 3: everything is on track for a ceasepire.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You cannot be Trump's words.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Trump has proven time and time again that words actually
- 16:25Speaker 3: don't matter. So the Iranians look in a lot of ways,
- 16:28Speaker 3: this was a test not only of their ability to
- 16:32Speaker 3: enforce their own red lines, it was a test of Trump.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Bringing it back to my earlier point, I also want
- 16:36Speaker 3: to note this one. The blockade will remain in place
- 16:40Speaker 3: and in full force and effect until a final deal
- 16:43Speaker 3: is reached.
- 16:44Speaker 6: By the way, that.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Contradicts every single thing we know about the Memorandum of Understanding,
- 16:49Speaker 3: which was supposed to see a lifting of the blockade
- 16:52Speaker 3: from the Iranians on the straight of Horn Moves and
- 16:54Speaker 3: the blockade of the United States. He says here the
- 16:57Speaker 3: blockade will remain in place, in full force and effect
- 17:00Speaker 3: until a final deal is Considering what happened yesterday, the
- 17:07Speaker 3: level of Zionist freak out that we saw after Trump
- 17:10Speaker 3: had said I'm going to tell Bebe not to strike
- 17:12Speaker 3: was unbelievable. First of all, just proving that, you know,
- 17:15Speaker 3: their Panican is plenty whenever they want to be, Whenever
- 17:18Speaker 3: Trump doesn't, you know, you know, lap at the feet
- 17:20Speaker 3: of Bebe, they freak out and are criticizing the White House.
- 17:23Speaker 3: They're not exactly real friends, they're fairweather friends on behalf
- 17:27Speaker 3: of Israel, people like Mark Levin and all of these
- 17:29Speaker 3: other folks. But I think it also showed their power
- 17:33Speaker 3: because immediately Bebe, you know, for his own reasons, because
- 17:37Speaker 3: inside of Israel you had neftally Bennett.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I think we have that, don't we? A twelve? Can
- 17:42Speaker 1: we put that up there on the screen. This is
- 17:44Speaker 1: the moderate in Israel. Remember that one who says there's
- 17:47Speaker 1: a moment of truth.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Is Israel a sovereign state capable of defending itself. A
- 17:50Speaker 3: weak or symbolic response will signal to our enemies the
- 17:53Speaker 3: blood of our citizens has been spilled with impunity. Therefore,
- 17:56Speaker 3: Israel must act with strength and effectiveness in this matter.
- 17:59Speaker 3: We all of Israel stand together calling for a retaliatory strike.
- 18:05Speaker 3: You also that was from Ftaali Bennett. You also had
- 18:08Speaker 3: Ben Gavier say Tehran will burn to the ground tonight.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So from both sides of the Israeli spectrum, Bbie was
- 18:15Speaker 3: in a place that he has created a bloodthirst really
- 18:18Speaker 3: within the Israeli government, and for a lot of his
- 18:20Speaker 3: own domestic political reasons, he couldn't not respond. But he
- 18:23Speaker 3: also it took a calculated risk. He knew if he
- 18:26Speaker 3: did this, we're not actually going to back away from them.
- 18:28Speaker 3: And that's what backstops this entire thing is that cost
- 18:33Speaker 3: benefit analysis is predicated on cost. Israel has no cost,
- 18:37Speaker 3: and so we should create a scenario where they have cost.
- 18:40Speaker 3: All Trump has to do is say I'm not defending
- 18:42Speaker 3: you anymore. And let's see what the skies of Israel
- 18:45Speaker 3: look like when US Dad and Patriot missiles are no
- 18:48Speaker 3: longer shooting down the vast majority. Let's see how long
- 18:51Speaker 3: they can actually last on their own.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Good luck to the.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Israeli Air Force and to the Israeli people if they
- 18:57Speaker 3: have to live under what a real bombardon actually would look.
- 19:00Speaker 2: You'll recall drop sized reporting that they were down to
- 19:02Speaker 2: double digit interceptors double digit, and yeah, every single significant
- 19:07Speaker 2: attack that they have weathered, they have weathered it with
- 19:11Speaker 2: our assistance.
- 19:12Speaker 4: We have been vital.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It's the one country that we have really consistently defended,
- 19:16Speaker 2: whereas our Gulf Arab allies we have relatively.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Hung out to dry.
- 19:22Speaker 7: Here.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I think the other thing we see really clearly, and
- 19:24Speaker 2: this is why the US is sort of like stuck
- 19:27Speaker 2: in this terrible limbo where you know, gas prices just
- 19:31Speaker 2: continue to be high, and you know, every week we
- 19:33Speaker 2: get market moving tweets abou oh a deal is really close,
- 19:36Speaker 2: and Barock revied reports and then the whole thing falls
- 19:38Speaker 2: apart on the weekend. Trump is terrified to go back
- 19:42Speaker 2: to full hostility. I think You see that really clearly
- 19:46Speaker 2: in this exchange. You know, whether or not it was
- 19:48Speaker 2: an act with Israel and he was going to allow
- 19:50Speaker 2: them to strike or not, he clearly put out this
- 19:53Speaker 2: message because he wanted to establish some separation from Israel
- 19:58Speaker 2: at least create the impression that all they're just acting
- 20:01Speaker 2: on their own, it's not us, like, let's not blow
- 20:03Speaker 2: up these whole negotiations. He does not want to go
- 20:06Speaker 2: back to full hostilities. He's very fearful of that because
- 20:10Speaker 2: Iran has successfully demonstrated to him that anything beyond what
- 20:14Speaker 2: we've already done. You know, we could go in with
- 20:16Speaker 2: more air strikes, although they've become more sophisticated about being
- 20:20Speaker 2: able to take down even our air assets. But yes,
- 20:22Speaker 2: we could go back in with more air strikes. They're
- 20:25Speaker 2: going to blow up our bases again if we went
- 20:27Speaker 2: in with some sort of ground invasion, like which would
- 20:30Speaker 2: be the next step that you would take. We all
- 20:32Speaker 2: saw how much of a disaster that could be with
- 20:35Speaker 2: that alleged pilot rescue situation that occurred, where so much
- 20:39Speaker 2: of our equipment had to be destroyed on the ground,
- 20:41Speaker 2: and the question surrounding you know, whether we're really getting
- 20:43Speaker 2: the full story on that all remained, but it was
- 20:46Speaker 2: immediately after that messy situation whatever it was, that Trump
- 20:52Speaker 2: ends up pulling back. He does all of these insane threats,
- 20:55Speaker 2: but ultimately it results in him going to the negotiating
- 20:58Speaker 2: table and trying to come up with some sort of deal.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I mean, the other.
- 21:00Speaker 2: PC here soccer is you know, I don't know. We
- 21:03Speaker 2: continue to have this negotiating team that it's hard to
- 21:06Speaker 2: take seriously, right, it's actually gotten worse because now it's Kushner,
- 21:09Speaker 2: it's Witkoff, and it's this guy from the Foundation to
- 21:12Speaker 2: the Defensive Democracies, which is like a you know, totally
- 21:14Speaker 2: hawkish pro Israel outfit that has done some of the
- 21:19Speaker 2: worst misinformation about Oh, if we just blockade their blockade,
- 21:23Speaker 2: Iran is going to collapse in a mere amount of days,
- 21:26Speaker 2: you know, Oh, we'll take them out in their regime
- 21:28Speaker 2: will crumble immediately. That's who the negotiating team is. There
- 21:32Speaker 2: are no direct negotiations. So it continues to be very
- 21:36Speaker 2: hard to see how you can believe these reports we get.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Every single week. Oh, they're so close to a deal.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Oh they have a deal, they.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Have a memo of understanding any day now, we're going
- 21:45Speaker 2: to get an announcement. This whole thing is going to
- 21:47Speaker 2: be over how how and this latest round between Iran
- 21:52Speaker 2: and Israel only puts that even further because one of
- 21:55Speaker 2: the things Iran has to believe if they're going to
- 21:58Speaker 2: move forward, is that you're able and willing to restrain Israel.
- 22:02Speaker 4: And there is zero sign.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Sorry breaking news.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Just five minutes ago, remember recall I specifically said Iran
- 22:09Speaker 3: said southern Lebanon. Israel is now striking the southern Lebanese
- 22:12Speaker 3: village of Kirbat Dal Wire. I apologize to all Lebanese
- 22:17Speaker 3: if I said that incorrectly. And there are now rocket
- 22:21Speaker 3: sirens sounding all over northern Israel a mid incoming Hezbola
- 22:25Speaker 3: rocket fire. So just to show everybody that, despite the
- 22:29Speaker 3: fact Iran explicitly said things are off as long as
- 22:32Speaker 3: you don't strike Southern Lebanon, they immediately start lighting up
- 22:35Speaker 3: Southern Lebanon, which immediately Broughs has bull afire, which we
- 22:39Speaker 3: know will bring more Israeli strikes, which means, now Iran,
- 22:42Speaker 3: the ball is in their court, are they going to
- 22:44Speaker 3: actually fires? So this is the sheer unsustainability of it all. Hey, Israel,
- 22:49Speaker 3: please just don't invade southern Lebanon. Why can't why can
- 22:52Speaker 3: we not say it, Please retreat to your own internationally
- 22:56Speaker 3: recognized borders. Yeah, I mean we're going through an entire
- 22:59Speaker 3: price war with Russia right now over invading a sovereign
- 23:03Speaker 3: nation over some you know, Oh, Russia claimed an immediate
- 23:06Speaker 3: threat in Ukraine.
- 23:07Speaker 1: To do that doesn't mean that we think it's real.
- 23:09Speaker 1: It was bullshit. So same with here.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Nobody says one word about violations of norms. You have
- 23:14Speaker 3: this country which bombed multiple different ones, basically annexed parts
- 23:18Speaker 3: of Syria, now annexing Lebanon, rampaging through the West Bank.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Didn't they just do something in Gaza yesterday? They just
- 23:24Speaker 3: shut down the humanitarian.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I mean, this is madness, and we're.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Just not the Lebanon one is where there's not it's
- 23:31Speaker 3: not even a dispute like it's Lebanon.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It's a country.
- 23:33Speaker 3: They can't there's no you know, nineteen forty eight, ninety six, ton, No,
- 23:38Speaker 3: we just invaded the entire country. We're occupying all and
- 23:40Speaker 3: we sit here and we just take it. And it
- 23:42Speaker 3: just shows you the sheer madness of the entire thing.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Why can Trump not say every single Israeli smoot is
- 23:48Speaker 3: getting off out of Lebanon right now. The United States
- 23:51Speaker 3: and Israel, or the United States and Lebanon will come
- 23:53Speaker 3: to some agreement whatever, and then in the future you
- 23:56Speaker 3: will not be struck.
- 23:57Speaker 1: It's not difficult.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Why Yeah, Well, and previously Ron's position had been tit
- 24:02Speaker 2: for tat. You strike us, we are going to respond
- 24:06Speaker 2: in kind, effectively like a horizontal escalation. So we're not
- 24:10Speaker 2: going to go above and beyond. We're going to respond
- 24:13Speaker 2: in a way that is consistent with what you did
- 24:15Speaker 2: to us. Their new model, and that's I think in
- 24:19Speaker 2: evidence with the retaliation on Israel here is that if
- 24:23Speaker 2: you hit us, we are going to hit back harder.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So what does Israel want here? Obviously they want to
- 24:29Speaker 2: blow up the peace negotiations. They also want they would
- 24:32Speaker 2: love to see some look American service members dead, just
- 24:35Speaker 2: to be honest with you, because what would that require
- 24:36Speaker 2: then we would be fully back in it.
- 24:39Speaker 4: They want our basis to be struck.
- 24:42Speaker 2: They want us to have some sort of justification that
- 24:46Speaker 2: means we have to get back fully into this war.
- 24:49Speaker 2: That is what they're pushing for, That's what they're looking for.
- 24:52Speaker 2: And so you know, with this latest round. We are
- 24:56Speaker 2: dangerously close to going back to.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Full s war.
- 25:00Speaker 2: And look, there's a reason we've been having Professor Robert
- 25:03Speaker 2: Pape on the show every week because.
- 25:05Speaker 4: The escalation trap.
- 25:07Speaker 2: When you have that frame where you can see how
- 25:09Speaker 2: we end up in this position, and why even though
- 25:12Speaker 2: Trump is desperately afraid of going back into full scale war,
- 25:17Speaker 2: why that does not mean that that is off the table.
- 25:20Speaker 2: It is not off the table. And you can see
- 25:22Speaker 2: very easily the logic of this. I wanted to put
- 25:25Speaker 2: one more thing here up on the screen.
- 25:27Speaker 4: This is a too c. I thought this was significant
- 25:30Speaker 4: as well.
- 25:30Speaker 2: We've talked over the course of this war repeatedly about Okay,
- 25:34Speaker 2: what are the hu this going to do? Are they
- 25:36Speaker 2: going to get more directly involved? And so in the
- 25:39Speaker 2: midst of this exchange of fire, of these attacks between
- 25:43Speaker 2: Iran and Israel, the Thi's jumped into the fray. Here
- 25:46Speaker 2: the Yemen struck in the television area declared a total
- 25:50Speaker 2: ban on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea. As well,
- 25:52Speaker 2: the Many Armed Forces launch a missile barrage targeting what
- 25:55Speaker 2: it described as sensitive Israeli targets in the Yafa area
- 25:58Speaker 2: of Tel Aviv, claiming the strikes achieve their objectives with precision,
- 26:01Speaker 2: according to a statement from the Sona based Saba News agency.
- 26:05Speaker 2: They also declared a complete and total ban on Israeli
- 26:07Speaker 2: maritime navigation in the Red Sea, stating that all Israeli
- 26:10Speaker 2: movements would be considered legitimate military targets and of course
- 26:14Speaker 2: this should be assumed to have been done in conjunction
- 26:17Speaker 2: and in coordination with the Iranian So again it just
- 26:21Speaker 2: shows you that they are willing to up the ante here.
- 26:24Speaker 2: And this was all again in response not to attacks
- 26:27Speaker 2: on Iranian soil, but to attacks in Lebanon. And now
- 26:31Speaker 2: we see this morning, as Soccer was just saying, those
- 26:33Speaker 2: attacks have restarted in southern Lebanon, jeopardizing any sort of
- 26:39Speaker 2: detent that Trump was announcing this morning, it.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Was just it's just going to keep on going this way.
- 26:44Speaker 3: By the way, the price, I don't know what's going
- 26:45Speaker 3: on with the oil markets. They're just kind of delusional.
- 26:47Speaker 3: I guess. Still Brent is still only at ninety four
- 26:50Speaker 3: dollars a barrel, so I mean, look, I'll take it
- 26:53Speaker 3: means everybody gets to pay less in terms of gasoline.
- 26:56Speaker 3: But I don't know, maybe the Doomers and all these
- 26:58Speaker 3: warnings were incorrect, or maybe that they were just way
- 27:01Speaker 3: too early. They are just hell bent on any time
- 27:04Speaker 3: Trump is like, we're going to have a deal. They
- 27:06Speaker 3: really do seem to believe it. I think the stock
- 27:08Speaker 3: market is even up this morning, literally only because what's it.
- 27:11Speaker 3: It's up by almost a full percent.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Which is wow, especially after because the Asian markets, well
- 27:16Speaker 2: we'll we're to talk more about this later, but they
- 27:18Speaker 2: got crushed yesterday again on chip worries and also you know,
- 27:22Speaker 2: overall tech worries. So you would think that would have
- 27:26Speaker 2: some impact on our markets, but apparently not.
- 27:28Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Taking in the interim.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Ryan's theory is that it's not necessarily that the traders
- 27:33Speaker 2: are stupid. It's that they assume that the other traders
- 27:36Speaker 2: are stupid and that they are predicting that, like you know,
- 27:39Speaker 2: everybody will take Trump's word for it. Oh, I'm sure
- 27:41Speaker 2: the ceasefire and the memo of the understanding is you know,
- 27:45Speaker 2: coming any moment now, and so they trade based on that.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I don't know what was it's I'm forgetting eco. It
- 27:51Speaker 3: was like rational market hypothesis or something. Yeah, I think
- 27:53Speaker 3: we can put that well to bad one from econ
- 27:56Speaker 3: one on one. I hope all the produce, all the
- 27:58Speaker 3: teachers are going to update. Okay, let's get to the
- 28:01Speaker 3: Trump interview. Turn down to Donald Trump sat for an
- 28:06Speaker 3: extraordinary interview. Explosive, as Crystal said, in many ways, including
- 28:10Speaker 3: the weather, which is genuinely insane when you listen to this.
- 28:13Speaker 3: For some reason, there was a massive rainstorm that was
- 28:15Speaker 3: conducted or that was happening around the place that the
- 28:18Speaker 3: interview was being conducted, presumably outside. But the one that
- 28:21Speaker 3: stuck out more than anything was Trump saying I never
- 28:24Speaker 3: guaranteed no new wars.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 28:27Speaker 8: What changed because you insisted no new wars.
- 28:32Speaker 6: I didn't guarantee new war.
- 28:34Speaker 7: Why would I have built the strongest military in the world.
- 28:36Speaker 7: I built our military. I inherited a terrible military. We
- 28:39Speaker 7: had no equipment, we had nothing. I built a tremendous military.
- 28:43Speaker 7: Biden gave a lot of it away, but it's still
- 28:45Speaker 7: a relatively small portion compared to what I built. You said,
- 28:50Speaker 7: why would I build the military?
- 28:51Speaker 9: Now?
- 28:52Speaker 7: I didn't want to use this, but I'm doing you
- 28:55Speaker 7: and everybody else a big favor. In the midst of
- 28:58Speaker 7: the greatest stock market and in the midst of the
- 29:01Speaker 7: most successful country because, as you know, in the last time,
- 29:04Speaker 7: we were dead country. Christian, I know you you're a
- 29:07Speaker 7: big liberal, big progressive.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Yeah, just a journal So he says, I never guaranteed
- 29:13Speaker 3: no new more. Why would I build the strongest military
- 29:16Speaker 3: in the world. Well, just a little trip down memory lane.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Here's Trump saying there will be no new war.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 29:22Speaker 10: Look at him.
- 29:22Speaker 7: He's going to start a war. I said, no, no,
- 29:24Speaker 7: I'm going to stop wars. I'm going to stop him,
- 29:26Speaker 7: stop the chaos in the Middle East and prevent World
- 29:29Speaker 7: War three, which is going to happen.
- 29:32Speaker 6: World War three.
- 29:33Speaker 7: We're closer to World War three than we have ever been.
- 29:36Speaker 7: Wait out need the wars. Foreign lands, countries you've never
- 29:39Speaker 7: heard of, countries that don't even want us there. This
- 29:42Speaker 7: election is a choice between strength and weakness, competence and incompetence,
- 29:47Speaker 7: peace and prosperity.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Or war or no war.
- 29:51Speaker 7: They like a war. They love wars, you know, they
- 29:53Speaker 7: love killing people. It's so wonderful. We will restore peace
- 29:56Speaker 7: through strength that we will prevent world War three.
- 29:59Speaker 3: We will prevent World War three. We're going to stop wars.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Those all this chaos in the Middle East. In fact,
- 30:04Speaker 3: do you remember when Jad endorsed Trump in twenty twenty three,
- 30:07Speaker 3: He literally wrote a Wall Street Journal op ed saying
- 30:09Speaker 3: the best thing about Trump was no new wars.
- 30:12Speaker 4: How all they were all on that.
- 30:15Speaker 3: That was part of the reason that a lot of
- 30:16Speaker 3: people supported him. It's at least the more libertarian faction
- 30:19Speaker 3: of a lot of these people, the anti woke libertarians.
- 30:22Speaker 3: And now he comes out humiliates them and said, what
- 30:25Speaker 3: did he say? He says, I never guaranteed any new war.
- 30:28Speaker 3: And this is I think demonstrates a couple of things.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Number one, how testing he gets on the subject, but two,
- 30:35Speaker 3: how committed he is now currently to this vision of
- 30:38Speaker 3: the war, not just with Iran, but you have to
- 30:40Speaker 3: put it together with Venezuela. And also what's happening right
- 30:43Speaker 3: now in Cuba.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Cuba is on the verge of collapse.
- 30:45Speaker 3: I know we've covered it quite a bit, but I
- 30:47Speaker 3: mean it's seriously, things are getting very bad over there.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Visa MasterCard just pulled out, very imminent, you know, potential
- 30:53Speaker 3: US action, all kinds of crazy Bay of pigshit being
- 30:56Speaker 3: planned by Marc or Rubio and the rest of the team.
- 30:59Speaker 1: So this definitively.
- 31:00Speaker 3: It makes it clear he's like, no, I never said that,
- 31:02Speaker 3: even though we literally have it on camera a million times.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, this is him being like a sleazy
- 31:07Speaker 2: car salesman, like, well, I never technically said I will
- 31:10Speaker 2: guarantee that there.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Will never be no new wars.
- 31:14Speaker 2: You know, things change, and why would I have this
- 31:16Speaker 2: incredible military if I wasn't start any new wars, Like,
- 31:20Speaker 2: obviously I'm going to use it. And I mean, in
- 31:22Speaker 2: a way, there's there is a kind of truth to that,
- 31:24Speaker 2: because if you did not listen to what he said,
- 31:27Speaker 2: but looked at his previous actions and also looked at,
- 31:30Speaker 2: you know, some of the people who had long been
- 31:32Speaker 2: in sort look in the fact that he had John
- 31:33Speaker 2: Bolton in the first administration, you would say, yeah, I
- 31:36Speaker 2: can't really take his word for these assurances. And the
- 31:39Speaker 2: other thing that he does is he would say no,
- 31:42Speaker 2: I won't go to war with Iran, you know, on
- 31:44Speaker 2: one day, and then the next.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Day we would posture in a very.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Hawkish manner towards Iran. So it really was sort of
- 31:51Speaker 2: like hear what you wanted to hear, choose your own
- 31:53Speaker 2: adventure type of situation, and here we are we have.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I guess I don't know that we chose this adventure,
- 32:00Speaker 2: but this is the adventure that we ultimately got. He
- 32:02Speaker 2: was very agitated throughout this entire interview. And you know,
- 32:06Speaker 2: Kristen Welker has done Trump interviews before, and it's not
- 32:10Speaker 2: that he likes her, but he has tolerated her.
- 32:12Speaker 4: They seem to have, like.
- 32:13Speaker 2: I don't want to say, a rapport, but she has
- 32:16Speaker 2: been able to you know, push him and have some
- 32:18Speaker 2: exchanges back and forth in a way that he has
- 32:20Speaker 2: at least been able to sort of accept in talk.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I Recovered the White House with Christian. He's always kind
- 32:24Speaker 3: of had a thing for her, Like I don't.
- 32:26Speaker 4: Mean, you know, she's a very likable person.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Ye know, she's very sweet.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you personal level, she's super nice. But I remember
- 32:32Speaker 3: he'd always would always gravitate her. My theory is because
- 32:34Speaker 3: she's on Meet the Press and she's on NBC News, and.
- 32:37Speaker 1: That's what he' likes.
- 32:38Speaker 10: Like boomer, He's a boomer like for him, was a
- 32:40Speaker 10: oh Tim Ruster, And you know Tim Ruster died when
- 32:42Speaker 10: I was like twelve, but you know, in Trump's brain,
- 32:45Speaker 10: that's you know, like that was Yesterdayade yeah, that was
- 32:48Speaker 10: yesterday exactly.
- 32:49Speaker 3: So for him, he loves like Fox News Sunday and
- 32:52Speaker 3: George Stefanopolis and Meet.
- 32:54Speaker 4: The Press, and.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Yeah, why is he obsessed with the New York Times anyway?
- 32:59Speaker 1: That's that's just said mistakes.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Well, And so I actually think because several times during
- 33:03Speaker 2: this interview he commented on the storm, and his hearing
- 33:07Speaker 2: is going, you know, he struggles to understand questions that
- 33:10Speaker 2: are asked, you know, of him in normal circumstances. So
- 33:14Speaker 2: I think his like old man agitation was coming out here.
- 33:17Speaker 2: They get into this exchange about you know, whether the
- 33:20Speaker 2: election was stolen previously, about whether the election is being
- 33:24Speaker 2: stolen from Spencer Pratt currently in California, and he gets
- 33:29Speaker 2: so frustrated and like just completely spases out and rage
- 33:33Speaker 2: quits this entire interview. Let's go ahead and watch a
- 33:37Speaker 2: little bit of this exchange so you can see what happened.
- 33:40Speaker 7: What they did to the lives of people. They destroyed people,
- 33:43Speaker 7: They sent people to jail who did nothing.
- 33:46Speaker 8: Wor just be very clear, there's no evidence of what
- 33:49Speaker 8: you're saying.
- 33:50Speaker 7: But there let's talk abou tremendous evidence is nothing, but
- 33:57Speaker 7: the election was rigged. It was a dirty election. This
- 34:00Speaker 7: is happening again right now in Calaforna. You know that
- 34:05Speaker 7: I won an election in a landslide and I got
- 34:08Speaker 7: ninety four percent.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Bad press.
- 34:11Speaker 6: You know why I got that presented.
- 34:12Speaker 8: Because you have no credibility, but you've never presented evidence
- 34:15Speaker 8: that it was ricked. Let's keep talking about I want
- 34:17Speaker 8: to talk about Tom.
- 34:17Speaker 7: You have more evidence, there's more evidence than ever presented.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Let's talk Your elections in this.
- 34:24Speaker 7: Country were like a third world country. Your elections are crooked,
- 34:28Speaker 7: and your crooked, and least the press is crooked, and
- 34:31Speaker 7: so is ABC and CBS and CNN, your one sided
- 34:36Speaker 7: crooked networks. Right, let's call it quits because I've had enough.
- 34:39Speaker 7: Thank you, darling, have a good.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Time for president.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Let's please.
- 34:42Speaker 8: I traveled all the way to Wisconsin.
- 34:44Speaker 7: I've shot that I know way on and off in
- 34:49Speaker 7: the ring, and I've given you enough time. You want
- 34:52Speaker 7: to straighten out your press, because you know what country
- 34:55Speaker 7: can never be great? Travel with justness. We traveled all the.
- 34:59Speaker 8: Way to Wisconsin for the city.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Rage.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Quick there you go.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I mean, look in fairness, that storm was out of control,
- 35:06Speaker 3: like either I'm genuine, I could not have done anything
- 35:10Speaker 3: it was.
- 35:10Speaker 4: It was. It was pretty wide.
- 35:12Speaker 2: It's not like I think they were in like like
- 35:14Speaker 2: a barn look like a metal roof is what it
- 35:16Speaker 2: sounds like anyway. But yeah, I mean the other thing
- 35:18Speaker 2: is as you age, not that Trump has ever had
- 35:20Speaker 2: real impulse control, but as you age, you lose your
- 35:24Speaker 2: impulse control. So he just like she kept trying to
- 35:27Speaker 2: change the subject because she could tell how agitated he
- 35:30Speaker 2: was getting. She's like, oh, let's talk about Todd blanche
- 35:32Speaker 2: Let's move on. But he just wants to go in
- 35:34Speaker 2: and in and in and the other thing of this
- 35:36Speaker 2: California thing has driving me freaking crazy, Like people acting
- 35:39Speaker 2: so shocked that a Trump backed Republican in LA is
- 35:43Speaker 2: not going to win, like this is any kind of shocker.
- 35:46Speaker 2: And people can go back and watch soccer and Ryan
- 35:49Speaker 2: interviewing David Dayan before the election even happened, and he
- 35:52Speaker 2: laid out the first ballots that are going to be
- 35:54Speaker 2: counter going to be very strongly Steve Hilton and Spencer Pratt,
- 35:57Speaker 2: and then as more ballots come in, they're going to
- 35:59Speaker 2: be more democratic and the numbers are going to shift.
- 36:02Speaker 4: This was all predicted in advance. It was no shock.
- 36:04Speaker 2: It was no surprise for people that actually knew what
- 36:06Speaker 2: was going on. But in any case, yeah, I take
- 36:09Speaker 2: it as a sign of you know, I think the
- 36:10Speaker 2: rain agitated him, but also his old man fragility where
- 36:14Speaker 2: he just cannot even you know, keep it together with
- 36:17Speaker 2: someone that he you know, afterwards, he's still like trying
- 36:20Speaker 2: to be a little bit nice to her on his
- 36:21Speaker 2: way out. So this isn't someone that he has like
- 36:24Speaker 2: a deep patrood for. And the other thing that was
- 36:25Speaker 2: funny to me is that CBS caught a strain in there.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Given what we know about how they've gone over and
- 36:30Speaker 2: above and beyond to try to keep him happy.
- 36:32Speaker 3: What I think has really happened here is he cannot
- 36:34Speaker 3: face criticism whatsoever. And this is a very different Donald trap.
- 36:38Speaker 3: I'll tell you I interviewed him many many times. You
- 36:39Speaker 3: can read the transcripts of any of those if you
- 36:42Speaker 3: want to. We would, you know, we did exactly what
- 36:43Speaker 3: Christen did. When he gets mad, You kind of worm
- 36:45Speaker 3: your way around. You don't want to get kicked out,
- 36:47Speaker 3: and so you'll push, you know, here, a little bit there,
- 36:50Speaker 3: push something like this. But from when I understand the
- 36:53Speaker 3: Israel Iran's issue, the Iran thing has become such an
- 36:58Speaker 3: obvious disaster that he is very fragile on the subject.
- 37:02Speaker 3: He cannot hear one word of credit and this translates
- 37:05Speaker 3: to everything.
- 37:05Speaker 1: This is why he's so edgy.
- 37:07Speaker 3: This also explains why in the middle of bombings he's
- 37:10Speaker 3: sitting there picking up his cell phone from all of
- 37:12Speaker 3: these different reporters, being like, Oh, I'm gonna tell them
- 37:15Speaker 3: not to do this. I'm like he's sitting there. Basically,
- 37:18Speaker 3: he's like.
- 37:18Speaker 1: All of us.
- 37:19Speaker 3: He's like monitoring the situation on the news, except he's
- 37:21Speaker 3: the most powerful person in the world. He's probably getting
- 37:23Speaker 3: all of these different military briefings and all these other
- 37:25Speaker 3: people coming in, and he's trying to shape the narrative
- 37:28Speaker 3: from his phone and with words. But that's not something
- 37:30Speaker 3: he's ever been able to do before. It is very
- 37:33Speaker 3: LBJ esque, Like in terms of sitting incostanted in the
- 37:37Speaker 3: White House, you have all this criticism outside everywhere you go.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Every time you turn on the news, you just see
- 37:42Speaker 3: this nightmare. You know, they have this thing hanging over
- 37:45Speaker 3: your head.
- 37:45Speaker 1: And so what do you do.
- 37:46Speaker 3: You surround yourself with yes men and people who tell
- 37:48Speaker 3: you that you're doing such a phenomenal job, and so
- 37:51Speaker 3: this is what happens combination with aging. It's created this
- 37:54Speaker 3: exact situation.
- 37:55Speaker 1: It's more of.
- 37:56Speaker 3: A bubble really than ever before, because I can tell you,
- 37:58Speaker 3: I mean, he would do some of that in the
- 37:59Speaker 3: first turn, and there was also a lot more novelty
- 38:02Speaker 3: to it. To attacking the press, CNN fake news.
- 38:04Speaker 1: A yeah, it's been ten years. Come on, we've heard
- 38:07Speaker 1: it all before, CNN.
- 38:08Speaker 3: It's fake news going after you know, the lying press
- 38:11Speaker 3: and all this stuff.
- 38:12Speaker 1: It's just it's kind of an old act literally.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Point well, also, he's you know, the bloom is off
- 38:17Speaker 2: the rows in terms of feeling like, oh, he's fighting
- 38:20Speaker 2: them because he's fighting for us. No, he's venal, he's corrupt,
- 38:25Speaker 2: he's in it for himself, for his old man, you know,
- 38:28Speaker 2: delusions of what his legacy is going to be, for
- 38:30Speaker 2: his own personal enrichment.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Everyone, and not everyone.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Most of the country, overwhelming majority of the country sees
- 38:37Speaker 2: that very clearly.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Now.
- 38:38Speaker 2: So yeah, now when he throws a temper tantrum, it
- 38:41Speaker 2: just looks like a temper tantrum. It doesn't look like, oh,
- 38:43Speaker 2: you're standing up to the big bad Kristen Welker and
- 38:45Speaker 2: NBC News and the other thing is, you know, to
- 38:48Speaker 2: that point, this over some January sixth elections stealing stuff.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I mean, he's gotten asked these questions many times before,
- 38:56Speaker 2: and he says his nonsense about how it's rigged. All
- 38:58Speaker 2: she tried to say is, look, there's no evidence of that,
- 39:00Speaker 2: and then she tried to pivot the subject and he
- 39:02Speaker 2: just completely lost it over that, which I think does
- 39:05Speaker 2: show you how vulnerable he's feeling right now, how much
- 39:10Speaker 2: he recognizes that his political position is deteriorated, and how
- 39:14Speaker 2: sensitive he is to literally everything. There was another moment
- 39:18Speaker 2: here that we wanted to show for you, and I
- 39:21Speaker 2: think this actually does get to the core of some
- 39:23Speaker 2: of the reason why he is so on edge right
- 39:27Speaker 2: now is because even key Trump supporting constituencies at this
- 39:32Speaker 2: point are struggling, really, you know, heavily because of the
- 39:36Speaker 2: economic decisions that he's made. We're going to talk a
- 39:39Speaker 2: little bit more about this, but his polling on economics,
- 39:42Speaker 2: on inflation in particular, is just catastrophe. You even have
- 39:45Speaker 2: a lot of Republicans now at this point saying he
- 39:47Speaker 2: hasn't done a good job on this. So Christin asked
- 39:49Speaker 2: him specifically about farmers and the way that they are
- 39:52Speaker 2: struggling because of fertilizer costs going up due to the
- 39:56Speaker 2: closure of the Strait of Hormuz thanks to his disastrous war.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Let's go ahead and tell a listen to the way
- 40:01Speaker 2: he spends a complete and total delusion around this.
- 40:04Speaker 8: Gas is up, diesel is up.
- 40:06Speaker 7: It's all coming down as soon as the warspe.
- 40:08Speaker 8: Seventy percent of farmers say they can't afford fertilizer.
- 40:12Speaker 1: What's yours?
- 40:13Speaker 6: They're doing very well.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Let me ask you, what is your message to farmers?
- 40:16Speaker 8: Many who support you, but who's saying struggling?
- 40:19Speaker 7: Who say that because there is nobody been better to farmers?
- 40:22Speaker 7: You know, I gave farmers last term twenty eight billion
- 40:25Speaker 7: dollars because China took advantage and other people and you know,
- 40:28Speaker 7: paid for it China less Jo. You know, I had
- 40:31Speaker 7: a great first term. I had the greatest economy ever,
- 40:33Speaker 7: and you know what, this one's blowing it away.
- 40:35Speaker 8: What's your message to farmers though, mister president, who say
- 40:38Speaker 8: they are struggling, they're struggling to make very.
- 40:41Speaker 7: You really am? I allowed to talk and keep asking
- 40:44Speaker 7: questions and you don't listen to the answers. I love
- 40:47Speaker 7: the farmers, and the farmers loved me, and the farmers
- 40:49Speaker 7: trustful in the first time, I had something very similar
- 40:52Speaker 7: to China and others were in Canada, which he was brutal.
- 40:56Speaker 7: They were taking advantage of our farmers. They don't take
- 40:59Speaker 7: advantage of it anymore. I gave them twenty eight billion
- 41:03Speaker 7: dollars split up. They never had a payday like that.
- 41:07Speaker 7: And the farmers loved me, and they came back and
- 41:09Speaker 7: they voted for me in record numbers. You know that
- 41:11Speaker 7: nobody's ever even come close now. Because of the fact
- 41:14Speaker 7: that we had a choice, I had a choice to make.
- 41:17Speaker 7: I could keep it going. The farmers were doing great.
- 41:20Speaker 7: Fertilizer was very cheap. Everything was cheap. Gasoline was very low,
- 41:24Speaker 7: everything was very low. I could have kept it that way,
- 41:26Speaker 7: but I said, I have to take a little bit
- 41:28Speaker 7: of return of the farmer's going to understand it better
- 41:30Speaker 7: than anybody. We're gonna have higher gasoling, We're gonna have
- 41:32Speaker 7: little higher fertilizer, et cetera, et cetera. But I'm going
- 41:36Speaker 7: to get rid of a nuclear weapon in the hands
- 41:38Speaker 7: of very dangerous people. Excuse me, wait, it should have
- 41:42Speaker 7: been done for forty seven years. No president had the
- 41:45Speaker 7: guts to do it. I did it, and I've done it.
- 41:47Speaker 7: It's almost complete. As soon as that's complete, gasoline prices
- 41:51Speaker 7: are going to drop.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Like a rock.
- 41:53Speaker 2: So you've got actually two contradictory messages there. First the
- 41:56Speaker 2: says farmers are doing great, and then he asked you acknowledge, well,
- 41:59Speaker 2: you know, yeah, things are up a bit, but it's
- 42:01Speaker 2: for a great cause, and it's only kind to be
- 42:03Speaker 2: for a short term period of time. So even he
- 42:05Speaker 2: had to acknowledge, like, yeah, there is some consequence.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Fertilizer is near the all time high. It's already edging
- 42:11Speaker 3: close to the twenty twenty two level. By the way,
- 42:13Speaker 3: in the rest of the world, it is continuing to
- 42:16Speaker 3: destroy a lot of the local farmers. I was just
- 42:19Speaker 3: reading a story in Brazil. I have some of the
- 42:22Speaker 3: data here in front of me. Brazil's has now soared
- 42:25Speaker 3: about fifty percent, which made it an agricultural powerhouse, but
- 42:29Speaker 3: the country's edge is now being tested because of fertilizer prices.
- 42:32Speaker 3: So even in a lot of these Third world countries
- 42:34Speaker 3: where they had had an edge in terms of like
- 42:36Speaker 3: increasing their amount of arable land, what they also had
- 42:40Speaker 3: is the new fertilizer increase is increasing the cost of
- 42:43Speaker 3: any even cheaper goods that you would try to get
- 42:46Speaker 3: into the UA. I'm not saying I support this, I'm
- 42:47Speaker 3: just saying from an economic perspective, same with coffee. If
- 42:50Speaker 3: everybody has noticed, coffee prices are just so unbelievably high
- 42:54Speaker 3: compared to where they were.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Even a year ago.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Beef prices also remain very very high throughout the summer,
- 43:00Speaker 3: and with this whole screwworm thing, they may continue. But
- 43:04Speaker 3: this is the new Trump posture is basically just I mean,
- 43:07Speaker 3: has always been this way, attack, attack, attack, and it
- 43:10Speaker 3: has worked for him to great advantage when it comes
- 43:12Speaker 3: to domestic politics. But you cannot bullshit your way out
- 43:15Speaker 3: of the Gordian knot of the war that you created.
- 43:17Speaker 3: And a lot of people can just take notice of
- 43:18Speaker 3: that every single time they go to buy a gallon
- 43:21Speaker 3: of gasoline. It's just that's the one It's like, the
- 43:24Speaker 3: one thing you shouldn't have done. If he took one
- 43:26Speaker 3: lesson away from the Biden presidency, don't fuck with gas
- 43:30Speaker 3: prices and with inflation. And this time he actually chose it. Okay,
- 43:35Speaker 3: let's see how that works in the midterm.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Elections.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Let's get to spying. Turning now to this discussion of
- 43:43Speaker 3: Israeli spying in the US. I'm gonna give credit to
- 43:46Speaker 3: NBC News, they broke this story first. Let's put s
- 43:48Speaker 3: one up here on the screen. The Pentagon has raised
- 43:51Speaker 3: the threat of his really spying on us to the
- 43:53Speaker 3: highest level. Let me explain some of what they have,
- 43:56Speaker 3: and then I will give you some of.
- 43:58Speaker 1: What I have.
- 43:58Speaker 3: They say the Pentagon is in recently concerned about Israel
- 44:01Speaker 3: ramping up its spying on the US, recently raising the
- 44:03Speaker 3: counterintelligence threat level from America's top ally in the Middle
- 44:07Speaker 3: East to the highest level Pentagon's DIA. So this specifically
- 44:11Speaker 3: is like the internal intelligence agency for the Pentagon. The
- 44:14Speaker 3: Defense Intelligence Agency in recent weeks has issued a new
- 44:18Speaker 3: counterintelligence threat assessment amid rising tensions between Israel and the
- 44:22Speaker 3: US over the way forward in the war with Iran.
- 44:25Speaker 3: They said, the DA posts an internal message viewed by
- 44:28Speaker 3: a current official that raised the level for Israel to
- 44:30Speaker 3: quote critical. The designation stems from concerns within the Pentagon
- 44:34Speaker 3: that Israel's making fun of making a particular effort to
- 44:37Speaker 3: surveil top US officials. I'm going to give you some
- 44:39Speaker 3: of the names of those officials. A little bit later on,
- 44:42Speaker 3: the DIA assessment includes a seven page document and features
- 44:46Speaker 3: a chart. The document says, the assessment of Israel is
- 44:49Speaker 3: its ability to conduct human espionage and technical collection is
- 44:52Speaker 3: at a critical level. It also identifies a series of
- 44:56Speaker 3: specific incidents that heightened US concerns. So the spoke person
- 45:00Speaker 3: for the Israeli embassy said this quote completely false, that.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Israel spies in the US. That Israel spies in the US.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Israel does not gather intelligence on American entities, let alone
- 45:09Speaker 3: US government officials. Israeli intelligence collection efforts are aimed at
- 45:13Speaker 3: its enemies, not as allies. Any claims to the contrary
- 45:16Speaker 3: are either misinformed or politically motivated.
- 45:18Speaker 4: He way, So ask mister Pollard about that one.
- 45:20Speaker 3: Yes, the Pentagon has declined to comment, and a White
- 45:22Speaker 3: House official set in the statement the story is entirely
- 45:24Speaker 3: false and source to someone who doesn't have any knowledge
- 45:27Speaker 3: the od and I the Office of the Director of
- 45:29Speaker 3: National Intelligence was overseas did not respond to a request
- 45:32Speaker 3: for comment.
- 45:32Speaker 1: So let's focus in on a few things.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Number one is this statement from the White House that
- 45:37Speaker 3: says this is completely false.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Comip with C. Two up there on the screen.
- 45:40Speaker 3: The entire story is false and source to someone who
- 45:42Speaker 3: doesn't empty knowledge of what's going on. I want to
- 45:44Speaker 3: point to everybody to a very interesting line. The Office
- 45:47Speaker 3: of the Director of National Intelligence did not respond to
- 45:49Speaker 3: a request for comment, and I also want to point
- 45:51Speaker 3: to some very specific examples, including a seven page document
- 45:55Speaker 3: that features a chart. That document, I can confirm to
- 45:58Speaker 3: all of you exists. Let me tell you about some
- 46:00Speaker 3: of the things that are in there. I got to
- 46:02Speaker 3: be a little careful here in terms of protecting some
- 46:04Speaker 3: of the many people who I spoke to about this story. Basically,
- 46:08Speaker 3: what they have seen in terms of their raising too
- 46:10Speaker 3: critical is they have raised it to a similar level
- 46:13Speaker 3: that they treat general US adversaries. This is based on
- 46:16Speaker 3: a few specific incidents. Some of these incidents, again I
- 46:19Speaker 3: cannot go into deep detail, include the explicit surveillance of
- 46:22Speaker 3: top officials inside of the Pentagon who they deem to
- 46:26Speaker 3: be a threat to their agenda inside.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Of the Pentagon.
- 46:29Speaker 3: The New York Times, by the way, I can confirm
- 46:31Speaker 3: some of this as well. Let's put C three up
- 46:32Speaker 3: here on the screen, so it's not just me who
- 46:34Speaker 3: is telling you all of this. I'm going to read
- 46:36Speaker 3: from you a very specific line. The report includes that
- 46:39Speaker 3: Israel has stepped up its efforts to evesdrop on senior
- 46:44Speaker 3: American officials, including Steve Whitcoff, President Trump's top negotiator, Elber J. Colby,
- 46:50Speaker 3: the Pentagon's top official, and one of his main deputies,
- 46:53Speaker 3: Michael Demino now Colby Domino and wit Cooff, I guess
- 46:57Speaker 3: could technically be seen as some sort of the strainth
- 47:00Speaker 3: part of the Pentagon. Colby in particular, we've had him
- 47:03Speaker 3: here on the show. You can go back and watch
- 47:05Speaker 3: some of those past interviews Wikoff. Obviously, look, I don't
- 47:08Speaker 3: really know what Wickcoff believes, but Israel seems to believe
- 47:10Speaker 3: he's a problem because he was one of the people
- 47:12Speaker 3: who initially started that, who initially pressed them for the
- 47:16Speaker 3: cease fire. They've never forgiven him for it and even
- 47:18Speaker 3: for his involvement, despite him still being very very pro Israel.
- 47:22Speaker 3: I also want to point to a very specific line
- 47:24Speaker 3: that they use, which I can also tell you, eavesdrop,
- 47:27Speaker 3: what do you think that means?
- 47:28Speaker 1: It means trying to bug people's phones.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Here are some of the other things that I have
- 47:33Speaker 3: learned is that the Israeli government has been increasingly while
- 47:37Speaker 3: US military officials are in Israel that they have found
- 47:41Speaker 3: themselves basically subject to the same quote threat analysis that
- 47:45Speaker 3: they would whenever they're traveling abroad. Now it is standard
- 47:48Speaker 3: operating procedure for US officials when they leave the country
- 47:51Speaker 3: to actually turn in their government device and to get
- 47:53Speaker 3: a traveling phone. And it's explicitly for this reason because
- 47:57Speaker 3: of potential being able to break into their various devices.
- 48:01Speaker 3: And there was at least some belief that attempts that
- 48:03Speaker 3: that had been made, And now the times in the
- 48:05Speaker 3: NBC News have gone further and they're basically saying they
- 48:09Speaker 3: explicitly tried to eavesdrop on these three officials that we
- 48:12Speaker 3: know about, also military officials inside of Israel Sentcom and others.
- 48:17Speaker 3: But the main target of Israeli intelligence right now, from
- 48:20Speaker 3: based on everything I've been able to see, is to
- 48:22Speaker 3: get as much visibility into the Pentagon's internal decision making
- 48:26Speaker 3: as possible, including into the White House, to make sure
- 48:29Speaker 3: that they can try and influence things from their side. Now,
- 48:32Speaker 3: nothing I'm saying is explosive in such a way that,
- 48:35Speaker 3: like if you watch the show, you probably believe it,
- 48:37Speaker 3: But I think what's explosive is the fact that the
- 48:40Speaker 3: DIA concluded this in a memo. And again, I think
- 48:42Speaker 3: the number one thing I can offer you is the
- 48:44Speaker 3: memo exists, that they definitely have been They have specific
- 48:47Speaker 3: instances in some of these cases where they have tried
- 48:50Speaker 3: to eavesdrop on these US officials. APAC, the US and
- 48:54Speaker 3: others are a pack and the White House are all
- 48:57Speaker 3: denying this, but I can tell you for one hundred
- 48:59Speaker 3: percent this memo exists. It includes multiple specific instances of
- 49:03Speaker 3: Israeli officials who are either caught or where the DiiA
- 49:06Speaker 3: believes that they were trying.
- 49:07Speaker 1: To surveil US officials.
- 49:09Speaker 3: I also should note that this memo does not just
- 49:11Speaker 3: include evidence from after the outbreak of the Iran War.
- 49:15Speaker 3: This Critical Threat memo was issued based on years now
- 49:19Speaker 3: of counterintelligence activity that they have been able to conclude,
- 49:22Speaker 3: and it was done specifically to try and protect the
- 49:25Speaker 3: integrity of the US war decision making process. There are
- 49:28Speaker 3: still people in the Pentagon who care about that. I
- 49:30Speaker 3: can report for all of you this is based on
- 49:32Speaker 3: some of my conversations with multiple different sources who.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Are around this.
- 49:35Speaker 3: But the most noteworthy and depressing part to me is
- 49:37Speaker 3: the White House saying that this story is completely false.
- 49:40Speaker 3: The people in charge of actually making sure that we're
- 49:43Speaker 3: not getting spied on are the ones who are denying
- 49:45Speaker 3: that the story doesn't exist.
- 49:46Speaker 1: It exists. I can tell you explicitly it exists.
- 49:48Speaker 3: The memo is real, the actual things in various contacts
- 49:53Speaker 3: that are made inside the memo. Again, I wish I
- 49:55Speaker 3: could go into even some more, just because it's really crazy,
- 49:58Speaker 3: but that would give away a a little bit too much.
- 50:01Speaker 3: It includes multiple instances where military officers and others found
- 50:05Speaker 3: themselves or believed themselves to be under either electronics surveillance,
- 50:09Speaker 3: human surveillance, or other type of surveillance, either in Israel
- 50:11Speaker 3: and in some cases electronically here in the United States.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Well, they say in the New York Times report that
- 50:16Speaker 2: some officials discovered that the Israelis had either attempted or
- 50:20Speaker 2: succeeded in installing software on their phone could be Pegasus,
- 50:24Speaker 2: something like that.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I want me to go in the details on that one.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Sure, so this appears to have been an effort where
- 50:30Speaker 3: you know, sometimes whenever you go to a secure area,
- 50:32Speaker 3: if you've ever been into a skiff, you often have
- 50:34Speaker 3: to turn in your phone for a briefing. Well, they
- 50:36Speaker 3: would come back and then they would discover, oh, actually
- 50:38Speaker 3: there might be something that's been installed on my phone.
- 50:41Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Now, It's actually a little bit unclear as to where
- 50:44Speaker 3: the software was installed. Either could have been in Israel potentially,
- 50:47Speaker 3: there have been some speculation that occurred in the US.
- 50:49Speaker 3: Best I've been able to tell, it occurred while they
- 50:51Speaker 3: were on travel, while they were in Israel. And they're
- 50:53Speaker 3: actually particularly they're particularly worried about their own personal devices.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Remember that Steve Wikoff and other used have used their
- 51:01Speaker 3: personal advices and signal devices whenever.
- 51:03Speaker 1: They were conducting diplomacy. It's just made them very vulnerable.
- 51:05Speaker 2: And also fly around on private jets, not you know,
- 51:08Speaker 2: official secure government aircraft, and so that makes them more vulnerable.
- 51:12Speaker 2: And what the New York Times points to is that, look,
- 51:16Speaker 2: Israel has been spying on the US, and we spy
- 51:19Speaker 2: on them too, by the way, but they aggressively spy
- 51:21Speaker 2: on the US.
- 51:22Speaker 4: And this has been always known.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Right, that's not new, But they say that the efforts
- 51:27Speaker 2: have been ramped up significantly actually during the Biden administration
- 51:31Speaker 2: after October seventh, as they were trying to get a
- 51:34Speaker 2: window into Okay, what is the decision making that's going
- 51:36Speaker 2: on inside? Are they going to try to constrain us
- 51:39Speaker 2: in any way? The answer turned out to be no.
- 51:41Speaker 2: But in any case, that's when they really escalated these efforts.
- 51:45Speaker 2: And one person that the New York Times quoted here
- 51:47Speaker 2: said that what they're doing now is quote unquote unhinged.
- 51:51Speaker 2: So you know, again, these are not people who are Pollyanna,
- 51:54Speaker 2: who you know, would expect that Israel would not spy
- 51:56Speaker 2: on us whatsoever, which to me seems like a reasonable
- 51:59Speaker 2: expectation of an But in any case, that is not
- 52:01Speaker 2: the expectation that our government apparently has. But even given
- 52:04Speaker 2: that baseline of expectation that they will spy on us,
- 52:08Speaker 2: they consider the actions to have been taken here to
- 52:10Speaker 2: be unhinged. I want to pair this, too with another story,
- 52:13Speaker 2: which is the efforts to effectively link the US and
- 52:18Speaker 2: the Israeli militaries and make them so intertwined that this
- 52:23Speaker 2: is something we talked about last week with Brandon Wikert,
- 52:26Speaker 2: to make them so intertwined as to make it almost
- 52:28Speaker 2: impossible to extricate ourselves from this relationship. This is the
- 52:33Speaker 2: country that we're talking about, a country that spies on
- 52:36Speaker 2: us as aggressively, if not more aggressively, according to these reports,
- 52:40Speaker 2: as our adversaries, as our biggest adversaries in the world.
- 52:44Speaker 2: There is no other ally that is conducting this level
- 52:48Speaker 2: of operations against us.
- 52:50Speaker 4: It is not a thing.
- 52:51Speaker 2: It is only Israel, and so it really does call
- 52:55Speaker 2: into I mean, look to me, the relationship of Israel
- 52:58Speaker 2: as an allies already called into question. This further calls
- 53:00Speaker 2: into question the idea that this country should be an ally,
- 53:04Speaker 2: that we should have this type of relationship with them,
- 53:08Speaker 2: when they are committing, you know, acts against this that
- 53:10Speaker 2: are adversarial all the time.
- 53:11Speaker 4: I said earlier in.
- 53:12Speaker 2: The show, they would be delighted if you, as service
- 53:14Speaker 2: members got killed right now in the Middle East so
- 53:16Speaker 2: that we would get drawn back in. That's our ally,
- 53:19Speaker 2: That's who we send billions of dollars a year or
- 53:21Speaker 2: two without a second thought. That's who we're trying to
- 53:24Speaker 2: directly intertwine our military and intelligence services with.
- 53:28Speaker 3: This is insanity, and I can tell you know, and
- 53:30Speaker 3: the Times have confirmed some of these instances. The ones
- 53:33Speaker 3: that really shocked these officials the most and why they
- 53:36Speaker 3: elevated it to a critical threat, was when the Shin
- 53:39Speaker 3: bet the Israeli Domestic Intelligence Service, the FBI tried to
- 53:43Speaker 3: plant a bug in a Secret Service vehicle here in
- 53:46Speaker 3: the United States.
- 53:46Speaker 1: They literally tried to do that.
- 53:48Speaker 3: The Times has it in there too, that in the memo,
- 53:50Speaker 3: So that demonstrates the level of concern that that Remember,
- 53:53Speaker 3: these are general bureaucrats. They're looking at China, Russia, all
- 53:57Speaker 3: of these others and they're like, hey, you have a
- 53:58Speaker 3: country which literally tried to bugs secret Service vehicle. We
- 54:01Speaker 3: should probably do something about that or alert someone over
- 54:03Speaker 3: at the White House. They tried to put this into
- 54:05Speaker 3: a memo and issued it to the Pentagon, and then
- 54:08Speaker 3: the White House comes out and says it's entirely false.
- 54:10Speaker 3: So that's the concerning part to me is not just
- 54:13Speaker 3: what they got away with, but if this were China,
- 54:15Speaker 3: if this were Russia, if this were literally any other country,
- 54:17Speaker 3: that would freak out. There would be calls from Congress
- 54:20Speaker 3: to come in and to investigate. And instead you have
- 54:23Speaker 3: what Ted Cruz who defended basically is really spying on
- 54:27Speaker 3: the US in his interview with Tucker Carlson. And then
- 54:30Speaker 3: let's also remember there's basically been a year's long sighop
- 54:34Speaker 3: by a lot of these pro Israel people in the
- 54:36Speaker 3: US who are saying that Israel doesn't even spy.
- 54:39Speaker 1: On us in the first place.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Let's throw back to Ben Shapiro making this case several
- 54:44Speaker 3: years ago.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 54:45Speaker 6: This has become the hot speculation on the internet.
- 54:48Speaker 9: Is without evidence, you say that Mazad was running Jeffrey Epstein.
- 54:51Speaker 6: When I say without evidence, I mean without evidence.
- 54:53Speaker 9: Now Taly Bennett, the former Israeli Prime minister said quote
- 54:58Speaker 9: as a former is minister with the Massad having reported
- 55:01Speaker 9: directly to me, I say to you with one hundred
- 55:03Speaker 9: percent certainty, the accusation that Jeffrey Epstein somehow worked for
- 55:06Speaker 9: Israel or the Masade running a blackmail ring is categorically
- 55:09Speaker 9: and totally false. This accusation is a lie being peddled
- 55:12Speaker 9: by prominent online personalities such as Tucker Carlson, pretending they
- 55:15Speaker 9: know things they don't. And in fact I followed up
- 55:18Speaker 9: with the former prime minister enough Tully Bennett, and what
- 55:20Speaker 9: he told me is the Massad has not been active
- 55:22Speaker 9: in the United States since the or against the United
- 55:25Speaker 9: States since the Jonathan Pollard scandal of nineteen eighty seven,
- 55:29Speaker 9: when a US Army contractor he is actually working for
- 55:32Speaker 9: the Navy, revealed.
- 55:33Speaker 6: Classified information to the Israeli government.
- 55:37Speaker 9: He was prosecuted by the United States government and ended
- 55:39Speaker 9: up in prison for almost thirty years.
- 55:41Speaker 6: And so Israel since then has not spied on the
- 55:43Speaker 6: United States.
- 55:44Speaker 3: So Ben called up the Israeli Prime minister former's really
- 55:47Speaker 3: Partnerier said hey, you don't spy on us, right He said, oh, yeah, no,
- 55:50Speaker 3: we don't. And Ben said, yeah, okay, all right, let
- 55:52Speaker 3: me go ahead and report that to my audience.
- 55:54Speaker 4: This is never lied.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Why would they lie.
- 55:56Speaker 3: Let's go to the next one. I love this one
- 55:58Speaker 3: in particular. This is, you know, very pro Zionist poster.
- 56:03Speaker 3: I believe he's done some stuff over there the Middle
- 56:05Speaker 3: Eastern analysts for the Free Press. He says, the deeper
- 56:07Speaker 3: story of the NYT article about and Israeli spying, citing
- 56:10Speaker 3: an alleged report, isn't the spying itself. There's no direct
- 56:13Speaker 3: spying on America because the costs of discovery would be enormous.
- 56:16Speaker 1: But there's obviously a great deal.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Of analysis in open source work on America, just like
- 56:20Speaker 3: there is in a US intelligency on Israel. Neither side
- 56:23Speaker 3: is stupid, but as he claims, quote, there is no
- 56:25Speaker 3: direct spying on America, so the cost of discovery would
- 56:27Speaker 3: be enormous. I just told you that the cost of
- 56:30Speaker 3: discovery was actually nothing. Is that they are literally trying
- 56:33Speaker 3: to spy on top Us and Pentagon officials who in
- 56:38Speaker 3: some cases either oppose the war or expouse views that
- 56:41Speaker 3: were oppositional to their conquest of the entire Middle East,
- 56:45Speaker 3: and they are getting no costs from the White House.
- 56:48Speaker 3: The White House is denying that their own government's conclusion
- 56:51Speaker 3: of spying is not correct. And just to be very clear,
- 56:54Speaker 3: there's no cost and.
- 56:55Speaker 4: There's never been a cost.
- 56:57Speaker 7: No.
- 56:57Speaker 2: When Johnson Pollard was discovered, you know, secrets to the Israelis.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Which they then sold to the Soviet Union, Yeah, there
- 57:04Speaker 1: was a.
- 57:04Speaker 4: Cost to him.
- 57:06Speaker 2: But then what happens years later, he's you know, his pardon,
- 57:09Speaker 2: He's like, oh, he goes back to Israel where he
- 57:10Speaker 2: now serves in the Kannesse Yes, and is getting invited
- 57:13Speaker 2: to meetings with Ambassador Huckabee and.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Serves in the Kannesse or either serves or he's running
- 57:18Speaker 3: for the Cannisset. I forget which one he's doing.
- 57:20Speaker 1: One of those.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Basically a prominent Israeli citizen. He has advocated publicly that
- 57:24Speaker 3: Israel nuke the United States.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Not joking. You can go and look up that clip.
- 57:28Speaker 3: There's a former US citizen, you know, he a citizen
- 57:31Speaker 3: who is now an Israeli citizens who said Israel should
- 57:34Speaker 3: nuke the United States and forces them to pursue a
- 57:37Speaker 3: ceasefire in Gaza. Not joking, he actually did say that.
- 57:40Speaker 3: And who you know, he's very proud of spying on
- 57:43Speaker 3: behalf of Israel and has included calls to other Jewish
- 57:45Speaker 3: Americans telling him that they should spy for Israel. Let's
- 57:48Speaker 3: put ce sex up there on the screen, Mark Levin.
- 57:51Speaker 3: He says the Israeli spying on US story is bullshit,
- 57:54Speaker 3: which links to alleged debunking, all predicated on just the
- 57:59Speaker 3: White House denying that the report exists. Again, if the
- 58:03Speaker 3: report is false, then why did the Pentagon and the
- 58:07Speaker 3: Odie and I deny or request for comment.
- 58:09Speaker 1: You know why, because.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Even they did not want to lie on the record
- 58:13Speaker 3: to the press to say that the memo didn't exist,
- 58:15Speaker 3: because it would mean that someone would lead immediately come
- 58:18Speaker 3: out and they would leak the memo.
- 58:19Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 58:20Speaker 3: The details, some of them which I've been able to
- 58:23Speaker 3: gather the shin bet placing a bug in a secret
- 58:25Speaker 3: service vehicle. But the top one is about the software
- 58:28Speaker 3: installed on other officials. But the top, top, top one
- 58:30Speaker 3: is them explicitly targeting officials and others here in Washington
- 58:35Speaker 3: who they believe are opposed to their agenda. An immense
- 58:38Speaker 3: counterintelligence network that has been put up against them to
- 58:41Speaker 3: monitor either their communications or their beliefs and others to
- 58:45Speaker 3: make sure that they can try to influence the decision
- 58:47Speaker 3: making from the outside. There's a lot of other explosive
- 58:49Speaker 3: stuff in there.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I bet you know.
- 58:51Speaker 3: I'm going to press to see if I can continue
- 58:53Speaker 3: to report. But look, I just want to make very
- 58:56Speaker 3: clear to our audience this memo exists, and the White
- 58:58Speaker 3: House is straight up line one line about this and
- 59:02Speaker 3: the details of this. I mean, it's it's crazy. It
- 59:04Speaker 3: is absolutely crazy. It places is there on the same
- 59:06Speaker 3: category or at least in terms of esterment as a
- 59:08Speaker 3: China and Russia. That's literally the level of threat that
- 59:11Speaker 3: they're having, except in this case they won't even acknowledge
- 59:14Speaker 3: that the threat is real.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's insanity, and so much of our policy vis
- 59:18Speaker 2: Avi Israel. If you really press lawmakers and supporters of
- 59:22Speaker 2: it just comes back to.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Like, well, they're an ally, so that's why we do this.
- 59:26Speaker 4: They're an ally period and a story. And so this
- 59:29Speaker 4: really calls into well, why what are it looks?
- 59:32Speaker 2: You know, for me, I view it from a moral lens,
- 59:34Speaker 2: But if you're viewing this through a realist, you know,
- 59:38Speaker 2: us first, America first lens, What are we getting out
- 59:42Speaker 2: of this relationship that justifies this? I mean it has
- 59:45Speaker 2: been has been utterly disastrous for the United States and
- 59:50Speaker 2: our strategic interest to go along with what the Israelis
- 59:52Speaker 2: want us to do, and then you see, you know,
- 59:55Speaker 2: these actions being taken against us.
- 59:57Speaker 4: It is so I mean, they're there is no one, literally.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: No one who actually believes that Israel does not spy
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: on us at all. Like that is just utterly preposterous
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: and just an update. I looked at up Jonathan Pollard
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: ran for the Knesset, but Withdrew recently, So there you go.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Best of luck, Jonathan and your private citizenry there in Israel.
