- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's another episode of the Almost Famous podcast in another.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Episode that Ashley is with us. And it makes me
- 0:11Speaker 3: so happy, but it's bittersweet. You think this is your
- 0:14Speaker 3: last episode.
- 0:17Speaker 4: I think we could maybe do Monday morning, but and
- 0:19Speaker 4: that I'm going to call that my last probably episode.
- 0:21Speaker 4: But you know what's a really anxiety written is that
- 0:25Speaker 4: Jared isn't here right now in Virginia. He was here
- 0:28Speaker 4: for a week, yeah, and he is not supposed to
- 0:33Speaker 4: come back until Monday morning. And I'm like, I don't
- 0:37Speaker 4: know why I wasn't so nervous the first time. The
- 0:41Speaker 4: first time when he was going back and forth, I
- 0:43Speaker 4: just wasn't that nervous. I think it's because I think
- 0:45Speaker 4: this labor is going to go so fast that if say,
- 0:48Speaker 4: like something happens in the middle, then I don't think
- 0:51Speaker 4: he'd made it.
- 0:53Speaker 3: You know what, here's how I think in life, as
- 0:56Speaker 3: we get older, we have to look at a lot
- 0:58Speaker 3: of these things. It might not be ideal, but it
- 1:01Speaker 3: will be a story. And I know it's really would
- 1:05Speaker 3: bum him out not to be there for at least
- 1:07Speaker 3: it's the second kid, right, Yeah, it's the second kid,
- 1:11Speaker 3: what are you gonna do?
- 1:12Speaker 4: I'm kidding, I know what you're talking about. It would
- 1:15Speaker 4: be kind of funny because Jared staying on Sunday, well
- 1:19Speaker 4: because he has a wedding after party which goes till
- 1:22Speaker 4: one am, but also because he has softball, so like,
- 1:27Speaker 4: you know, that'll be that'll be the joke.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Wow, I love it. I actually really respect this because
- 1:35Speaker 2: that's hilarious.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Well, you'll probably get someone to cover for him at
- 1:38Speaker 4: work that night if he didn't have softball.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I really I kind of respect him for this.
- 1:45Speaker 4: It's like if you were at the Master's or something.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, if I I had my like member guest
- 1:51Speaker 3: golf tournament at my local club and I was like, sorry, honey,
- 1:55Speaker 3: I don't know if I can be within a thousand
- 1:56Speaker 3: miles of you.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Than a thousand miles. I think it's like four fifty.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's close enough. But we do have headlines.
- 2:06Speaker 3: There are some big headlines out there, especially kind of
- 2:09Speaker 3: wrapping around now Jin's season of the Bachelorette. It just
- 2:13Speaker 3: started this week. We do have our breakdown episode out
- 2:15Speaker 3: there now for you to listen to. And also Ashley
- 2:18Speaker 3: did a one on one with Jin. It's a great
- 2:20Speaker 3: conversation that you can go listen to as well.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Well.
- 2:23Speaker 3: One of the things that Jen's been talking about recently
- 2:26Speaker 3: is this, She's been discussing the pressure of being the
- 2:29Speaker 3: first Asian bachelorette and if she has any regrets so far.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Okay, So she told me that she has no regrets,
- 2:38Speaker 4: and like I told you guys in the last episode,
- 2:42Speaker 4: She's like, yeah, no regrets, Like I'm content, right, But
- 2:45Speaker 4: she didn't seem overally giddy when she said that she
- 2:47Speaker 4: had no regrets. Okay, So you know, Ben and my theory,
- 2:51Speaker 4: you can go listen to it more from you know,
- 2:54Speaker 4: the previous episode this week, but our theory is that
- 2:58Speaker 4: she doesn't end up with anyone. But then, as far
- 3:00Speaker 4: as the pressure of being the first Asian bachelorette, we
- 3:04Speaker 4: talked about this on Mike Q and A with her
- 3:06Speaker 4: and she says something along the same lines that she
- 3:09Speaker 4: told Bachelor Nation dot Com this week. She said, of
- 3:12Speaker 4: course I feel the pressure. A lot of it comes
- 3:16Speaker 4: from me wanting to be a good role model and
- 3:18Speaker 4: doing it right.
- 3:19Speaker 3: It has so far been a season where I think
- 3:22Speaker 3: you and I both would say we're very impressed.
- 3:25Speaker 2: In after episode one, right.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Mm hmm, Yeah, she did a great episode one, but.
- 3:30Speaker 3: We're both convinced that, yes, this season is not going
- 3:33Speaker 3: to end like the others. Speaking of Bachelor contestants, Chelsea
- 3:38Speaker 3: Vaughn shares dating update and reveals how many xes she's blocked.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Well, the last time we heard from Chelsea's love life,
- 3:48Speaker 4: she had just broken up with Austin Tinsley, who was
- 3:53Speaker 4: actually on Katy Thurston season of the Bachelorette, and they
- 3:57Speaker 4: met on Bachelor in Paradise cam and they were just
- 4:01Speaker 4: they had just moved in together in New York or
- 4:04Speaker 4: it was moving week something like that, and then they
- 4:06Speaker 4: broke up very abruptly. But she says that right now
- 4:11Speaker 4: she's kind of over dating apps. She's trying to get
- 4:14Speaker 4: her flirt on in real life, trying not to have
- 4:17Speaker 4: an accidental mean mug out there walking around New York's,
- 4:21Speaker 4: trying to bring in the positive flirty energy. She also
- 4:26Speaker 4: says that when you know, when it comes to breaking
- 4:29Speaker 4: up with somebody, are these guys blocked? Only one guy
- 4:32Speaker 4: and she said she'd barely ever consider him an ex
- 4:34Speaker 4: because we weren't technically boyfriend and girlfriend. However, dated exclusively
- 4:39Speaker 4: for a few months. Do you think that? I like,
- 4:45Speaker 4: if you weren't technically boyfriend and girlfriend but you were exclusive,
- 4:48Speaker 4: isn't a boyfriend and girlfriend? Like, how other way do
- 4:51Speaker 4: you define that?
- 4:52Speaker 3: I think it's I think what she's prior referred to
- 4:54Speaker 3: is more of an emotional connection. Like when she looks bad,
- 4:57Speaker 3: does she look at it as a relationship or does
- 4:59Speaker 3: she look at it is like, yeah, that was just
- 5:01Speaker 3: like a weird fleeing thing.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Yeah, good job, Ben, you didn't you buy it? That's
- 5:06Speaker 4: I feel that.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I get that, I understand it.
- 5:10Speaker 3: A couple headlines coming out obviously around one of the
- 5:14Speaker 3: biggest things that happened Bachelor Nations this week, and that's
- 5:17Speaker 3: the Hannah and wedding she marries Jake Funk in Italy.
- 5:25Speaker 3: It was just the two of them. That's kind of surprising, honestly,
- 5:30Speaker 3: she said. Her quote is we decided to just be us.
- 5:33Speaker 3: There's another headline out here too, actually that we can
- 5:35Speaker 3: kind of tie together all into one. Hannah Ann also
- 5:41Speaker 3: is making headlines this week for her European honeymoon. So
- 5:47Speaker 3: they had a European honeymoon and a wedding in Italy.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Ashley tell us all about it.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I was also shocked seeing the pictures of the wedding.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I know she'd had her bridle shower, bachelorette party and stuff,
- 5:58Speaker 4: but for some reason, I was just like, there was
- 6:01Speaker 4: no posting from what I saw of them, like leading
- 6:05Speaker 4: up to the wedding day, and all of a sudden,
- 6:07Speaker 4: we see the pictures of her in her wedding dress,
- 6:10Speaker 4: and then we didn't see them with any guests, and
- 6:12Speaker 4: I was like, huh, I wonder if it was kind
- 6:13Speaker 4: of like an elopement, and it ended up being. So
- 6:17Speaker 4: she and Jake did it together, just the two of
- 6:19Speaker 4: them in Italy. They are going to have a big
- 6:22Speaker 4: party with friends and family in Florida this coming month.
- 6:26Speaker 4: He is now he's on one of the Florida NFL teams,
- 6:30Speaker 4: so he's back at practice this week and they just
- 6:33Speaker 4: said that for his football schedule, it was best for
- 6:37Speaker 4: them to do the wedding and the honeymoon back to
- 6:39Speaker 4: back like that really quick, and then do something in
- 6:41Speaker 4: the States for the big celebration. So they went to
- 6:48Speaker 4: Tuscany for the honeymoon as well as Switzerland. And Jake's
- 6:54Speaker 4: last name was Funk, and there's this like chocolate Funk
- 6:57Speaker 4: place that he's been wanting to go to Relation in
- 7:01Speaker 4: Switzerland and they just did that towards the end of
- 7:03Speaker 4: their chip and you can see on her Instagram the
- 7:06Speaker 4: chocolate does look quite impressive. But yeah, just a quiet
- 7:11Speaker 4: wedding the two of them was very beautiful, all the
- 7:14Speaker 4: videography and photography, but super small.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I think it's sound.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I mean, I get it right. Like you and I
- 7:21Speaker 3: have talked about this, there's a beauty to a big wedding.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Some people want it. There's also a really romantic and
- 7:28Speaker 3: a very special I think I would imagine moment around
- 7:32Speaker 3: it just being the two of you. So congratulations to
- 7:35Speaker 3: the two of them, and you know, good luck to
- 7:38Speaker 3: Jake Is in his upcoming season.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Oh and I should mention that the vows happened in
- 7:44Speaker 4: a twelfth century castle in Tuscany.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah you could do worse. Yeah, you could do worse.
- 8:02Speaker 3: A bunch of Bachelor girls got together for a Bachelor
- 8:05Speaker 3: Girls trip. We got Jess, we got Kylie, we got Katie,
- 8:09Speaker 3: Mercedes and a few others. This was kind of shown
- 8:14Speaker 3: all across social media, mostly, if not everyone was from
- 8:19Speaker 3: Zach Shell Cross season. These girls are still hanging out,
- 8:23Speaker 3: still getting together a little bit surprising because we usually
- 8:27Speaker 3: see that, you know, kind of initial hangout, everybody's best
- 8:31Speaker 3: of friends, and then they kind of go their own
- 8:32Speaker 3: separate directions.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But these girls are staying close.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Yeah, they said it's their annual get together, and there's
- 8:40Speaker 4: no awkwardness when it comes to Katie and Zach being
- 8:43Speaker 4: together and all these girls having also dated Zach on TV,
- 8:47Speaker 4: but including Gabby who was his runner up, and there
- 8:50Speaker 4: was so much emotion there. They all flew to Austin
- 8:55Speaker 4: just to visit Katie, and it seems like they're going
- 8:59Speaker 4: to try to make a year thing about it. Jess
- 9:02Speaker 4: said in a caption that it was their annual reunion
- 9:06Speaker 4: and friendships are the best kind of love.
- 9:09Speaker 2: The absolute best kind.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Well, speaking of love, we do have a little baby
- 9:14Speaker 3: section coming up. Christina Mandrel and Brayden Bowers, along with
- 9:22Speaker 3: Bennett Jordan and Romeo, both appearing on The Patcherrette. Romeo
- 9:27Speaker 3: was season eighteen and Bennett was season sixteen. It looks
- 9:31Speaker 3: like they both welcome little girls to the world this week.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Now, we were expecting Bennett's daughter to arrive. He's been
- 9:39Speaker 4: documenting it with his wife for a while now, the
- 9:43Speaker 4: pregnancy and he's been doing some really funny TikTok reels.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Their baby arrived at forty one weeks on June twenty fifth.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Her name is Harper Lily Jordan. His wife held on
- 9:56Speaker 4: and the baby for forty one weeks. He said that
- 9:59Speaker 4: she's the most magical, on inspiring, precious and perfect little
- 10:02Speaker 4: bundle of joy, very very cute. And then this was
- 10:08Speaker 4: way more of a surprise for me seeing that Romeo Alexander,
- 10:12Speaker 4: who you remember having like some complications with romance in
- 10:18Speaker 4: Bachelor in Paradise, not this past season, but the season before.
- 10:23Speaker 4: And yeah, so he actually got married in March. They
- 10:29Speaker 4: hard launched in September, They got engaged in December, and
- 10:35Speaker 4: then they had this little baby just a couple days ago.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Her name is Josephine Simone Marie Alexander. Oh and yes
- 10:46Speaker 4: this the babies were born one day apart on She
- 10:49Speaker 4: was born on June twenty sixth.
- 10:52Speaker 2: That's really exciting.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Well, speaking of babies, Emily Ferguson Carlson brainstorms baby names
- 10:59Speaker 3: for baby boy number two. Her quote and social media
- 11:04Speaker 3: is so helpful.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Yeah, so she reached out to you know, everybody on
- 11:09Speaker 4: Instagram for baby boy name ideas. So they're really struggling
- 11:15Speaker 4: with the baby boy number two names, as Jared and
- 11:18Speaker 4: I have been very much. This is my word of
- 11:21Speaker 4: advice to everybody out there who plans on having two
- 11:25Speaker 4: or more children. Do not name your child your first
- 11:30Speaker 4: child's middle name your second favorite name. It should be
- 11:35Speaker 4: your third or fourth favorite name. Because Jared and I
- 11:40Speaker 4: really are are feeling the middle Dawson's middle name as
- 11:44Speaker 4: possibly being an option for our second son's first name.
- 11:50Speaker 4: And I think that not that Emily is having those contemplations,
- 11:56Speaker 4: but just having a hard time with the name. And
- 11:58Speaker 4: then this really fun Instagram baby naming consultant named Naming
- 12:05Speaker 4: bb B E b E came up with some baby
- 12:10Speaker 4: ideas for Beckham's little brother. Some of the recommendations include Brooks, Brigg, Bowen, Body,
- 12:20Speaker 4: and Beale if they want to have another B name
- 12:24Speaker 4: alongside alongside Beckham and if Emily doesn't want another B name,
- 12:31Speaker 4: this consultant is recommending Camden, Hayes, Caylin, Grady, Lennox, Dyer, Stockton, Axel,
- 12:40Speaker 4: and Steele as all names that would work for Emily
- 12:44Speaker 4: and her husband William Carlson, as they are kind of
- 12:48Speaker 4: sporty meat style.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I had no clue there is baby named consultants out there.
- 12:55Speaker 4: She did one for Jared and I and she of
- 12:57Speaker 4: course made it like pop culture theme. She's so like,
- 13:00Speaker 4: since Dawson is named after Jack Dawson, we could do
- 13:03Speaker 4: this plus this, plus this, And she suggested a name
- 13:09Speaker 4: in that Instagram reel that my sister thinks that she
- 13:12Speaker 4: might use for her future child that we never thought
- 13:15Speaker 4: of before. So consultants might be awesome for this.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's very impressive. Well.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Hey, Also in the headlines this week, Katie Thurston made
- 13:27Speaker 3: the headlines. She has been very open and very vulnerable
- 13:33Speaker 3: about an event in her life that she hasn't really
- 13:37Speaker 3: shared I don't believe publicly before this headline is this
- 13:41Speaker 3: Katie Thurston opens up about sexual assault and receives support
- 13:46Speaker 3: from Bachelor Nation. The quote she uses is my pain
- 13:51Speaker 3: has purpose.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Yeah, so we don't have a lot of details about
- 13:56Speaker 4: when this happened, but we know it happened when she
- 13:59Speaker 4: was living in San Diego, which was actually after her
- 14:02Speaker 4: whole stint on The Bachelor and Bachelorette. So she yeah,
- 14:09Speaker 4: I saw this on social and I had no idea
- 14:12Speaker 4: that this happened to her, especially so recently. But let
- 14:16Speaker 4: me tell you what she said on social I called
- 14:19Speaker 4: nine one one to report my rape. They sent an
- 14:22Speaker 4: officer to take my statement and then drove me to
- 14:25Speaker 4: a special medical center to perform an exam. I had
- 14:28Speaker 4: two women with me. One was a nurse, the other
- 14:31Speaker 4: one was my advocate. They were kind and nurturing and patient.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I felt like a small lost child who was vulnerable
- 14:36Speaker 4: and scared. They thoroughly examined the process, asking for consent
- 14:41Speaker 4: along the way, allowing me to decide or change my
- 14:43Speaker 4: mind at any time. She said that she was given
- 14:47Speaker 4: a blood draw to check for STDs, drugs, and other
- 14:51Speaker 4: blood alcohol concentration. Katie was also given Plan B, a
- 14:55Speaker 4: shot for bacterial infection drugs to treat possible TDS in
- 15:00Speaker 4: a medication to treat possible HIV exposure. Katie said that
- 15:05Speaker 4: this was all provided to her at no cost, regardless
- 15:09Speaker 4: of her insurance situation, and when Katie lived in San Diego,
- 15:14Speaker 4: she was offered an online tracker for her exam, so
- 15:17Speaker 4: it took four months to complete this whole cycle, and
- 15:21Speaker 4: during the waiting period, Katie worked with a therapist who
- 15:24Speaker 4: specializes in treating victims of sexual assault and engage in
- 15:27Speaker 4: other community resources. She also shared a book on social
- 15:32Speaker 4: that she found to be helpful at this time. She goes,
- 15:34Speaker 4: I did everything that I should have done as a
- 15:36Speaker 4: victim of rape. I shared all my text, calls, videos, photos, names, witnesses, location, timestams,
- 15:44Speaker 4: surveillance footage, DNA everything, and I was still warned that
- 15:48Speaker 4: a guilty verdict is hard in criminal court. While she
- 15:52Speaker 4: doesn't make clear whether or not this court there has
- 15:56Speaker 4: been a moment in court, she does feel stuck, like
- 16:02Speaker 4: stopped in this fight, she goes, It's not a loss.
- 16:04Speaker 4: This is not a loss to me. I am safe,
- 16:07Speaker 4: I love them supported. Yet another loss in a broken system.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Change happens in failure in the justice system failed me
- 16:15Speaker 4: and continues to fail thousands every single day. But do
- 16:19Speaker 4: not give up. So yeah, this is awful, awful news.
- 16:24Speaker 4: So sad. I feel so bad she's gone through this.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Her comments underneath are filled with support from Bachelor Nation
- 16:32Speaker 4: Susie Evans, Calm Bristo o Taisha Adams. But yes, thank
- 16:38Speaker 4: you Katie for sharing the story despite it being probably
- 16:43Speaker 4: the worst experience of your life.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Well.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Katie is also speaking this week about how she found
- 16:48Speaker 3: her forever kind of love with boyfriend Jeff R.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Curry.
- 16:54Speaker 4: That's right. They have been together since January when she
- 16:57Speaker 4: teased the relationship, and then she soon after went on
- 17:01Speaker 4: a podcast where she said she said it's not quite
- 17:06Speaker 4: love yet, but she was very much enjoying the time together.
- 17:11Speaker 4: And now she goes in you know, June July, we
- 17:15Speaker 4: are past and we're maybe not past the honeymoon phase,
- 17:20Speaker 4: but we are in our full blown weirdo phase and
- 17:23Speaker 4: they're just completely comfortable with each other. And like she says,
- 17:26Speaker 4: this is her hopeful forever love. She's found him.
- 17:31Speaker 2: It's a big deal.
- 17:42Speaker 3: A couple other here, big really big headlines that we
- 17:45Speaker 3: kind of want to finish with The Bachelor. Sarah Harrin
- 17:48Speaker 3: gives birth to twins.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a huge one, massive yes. So congratulations
- 17:55Speaker 4: to Sarah. We are so so happy for her. She
- 17:59Speaker 4: and her husband lost their baby, Oliver at twenty four weeks,
- 18:04Speaker 4: I want to say a little over a year ago,
- 18:07Speaker 4: a year and a half ago, and she has been
- 18:10Speaker 4: going through IVF treatments, fertility treatments for three to four
- 18:14Speaker 4: years now, and she finally has her two twin girls,
- 18:18Speaker 4: their Everett Ray and Collette Rose. They will be going
- 18:22Speaker 4: by Evy and Coco. They were born on July first.
- 18:26Speaker 4: There fraternal twins. They were born early thirty two weeks.
- 18:31Speaker 4: They'll be in the nick you for a while, but
- 18:34Speaker 4: they are doing very well. Just this morning or yesterday morning,
- 18:38Speaker 4: they took a whole bottle and for premies at that age.
- 18:41Speaker 4: She said that that is a really great step to
- 18:44Speaker 4: take in the NICKU and just it shows like a
- 18:48Speaker 4: lot of positivity she is. She's just super happy and
- 18:55Speaker 4: it's really great to follow this story along on social media.
- 18:59Speaker 4: So congratulations to Sarah and Dylan. We could not be
- 19:03Speaker 4: happier for you, guys like you deserve the world and
- 19:07Speaker 4: these two beautiful babies.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Well, speaking of something really exciting, Chase McNary got married
- 19:13Speaker 2: this last week to his longtime girlfriend Ellie. This is
- 19:16Speaker 2: a very exciting announcement and I know they're both very
- 19:19Speaker 2: very excited to get married because they've been dating for
- 19:22Speaker 2: a while now.
- 19:23Speaker 4: They've been dating since twenty twenty and they got married
- 19:27Speaker 4: on Saturday, July six and a less than traditional ceremony.
- 19:32Speaker 4: The whole theme was that they were going to be
- 19:34Speaker 4: getting married at well, love reaching new heights because they
- 19:39Speaker 4: got married eleven thousand, five hundred feet ben, that's like
- 19:45Speaker 4: three miles in the sky. This is it was in Colorado.
- 19:48Speaker 4: So I ask you as if you know these things.
- 19:50Speaker 4: It's like three thousand is three miles in the sky.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Its pretty normal around there.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Well, it's not quite three miles in the sky, okay,
- 19:57Speaker 2: more like two one.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Oh okay, two point one.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But it is very high. I mean that's you know,
- 20:05Speaker 2: very high.
- 20:05Speaker 3: But it's also not uncommon a lot of there's a
- 20:09Speaker 3: lot of really cool spots. They got married in Dylan
- 20:13Speaker 3: a Rapa Hoe Basins, mid Mountain Lodge and Dylan, Colorado.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I've been to a base and we call it out
- 20:17Speaker 3: there in Colorado very many times. It is absolutely beautiful
- 20:23Speaker 3: and it is a crazy cool place to ski. And
- 20:26Speaker 3: in fact, this time of year there's still snow on
- 20:28Speaker 3: the mountain typically where they're just finishing ski season. It's
- 20:32Speaker 3: a really incredible place.
- 20:34Speaker 4: And everything was super relaxed. They wanted to be super fun, casual.
- 20:38Speaker 4: It was a weekend full of people that they love,
- 20:40Speaker 4: just kind of chilling. They did not want to stiff
- 20:43Speaker 4: formal wedding. So that's not them. The two of them,
- 20:47Speaker 4: like I said, have been together for four years, engaged
- 20:50Speaker 4: for two, and that's what we got. Happy Toppy wedding week.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Congratulations guys.
- 21:00Speaker 3: So shocking headline that might shock others that it's not
- 21:04Speaker 3: so shocking to those involved. Final headline of the day
- 21:10Speaker 3: is this bachelorette Ginran and Kelly Rippa's discussion about dating
- 21:15Speaker 3: on TV gets awkward.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Fat Ben Save the Juicy is headlined for Lost because well,
- 21:25Speaker 4: Ben has met Kelly Rippa has done the you know
- 21:29Speaker 4: live the show before. I love watching Kelly and Mark.
- 21:33Speaker 4: I love Mark and Silo's huge I mean not huge crush,
- 21:37Speaker 4: but I think he's very smoon worthy. Always loved seeing
- 21:40Speaker 4: their marital dynamic on the show. As soon as he's
- 21:44Speaker 4: started co hosting with her, I've watched the show much
- 21:47Speaker 4: much more, and it disappoints me when I see that
- 21:52Speaker 4: Kelly Rippa has such an acts to grind with a
- 21:56Speaker 4: bachelor franchise. Every time we have a lead go on
- 21:59Speaker 4: the show to promote it, she always seems to be
- 22:03Speaker 4: so skeptical of maybe not a little bit of the
- 22:07Speaker 4: lead in their decision to be the lead, and also
- 22:11Speaker 4: just the process. She just seems to like really shame
- 22:15Speaker 4: the show. There's so many reality shows out there that
- 22:19Speaker 4: are so much more trashy, and she loves to pick
- 22:26Speaker 4: at the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Ben, like, I know that
- 22:28Speaker 4: you have a little bit of an experience. I don't
- 22:30Speaker 4: know if you want to share, but when you were
- 22:33Speaker 4: on the show, Kelly also questioned you very similarly than
- 22:38Speaker 4: she did with Jen, which I'll tell you guys what
- 22:41Speaker 4: she did with Jen in a minute.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, she definitely doesn't like the show.
- 22:45Speaker 3: I don't know if they like denied her her Bachelorette role.
- 22:49Speaker 3: She just doesn't like the show, and so it always
- 22:51Speaker 3: makes if you look back on past seasons, it just
- 22:55Speaker 3: makes for an awkward interview, I think is the best
- 22:57Speaker 3: way to say it, because like you're sitting there as
- 23:00Speaker 3: this you know, fan of her and the show.
- 23:04Speaker 2: You're excited to be there.
- 23:07Speaker 3: You've gotten this wild opportunity to be on reality television
- 23:10Speaker 3: and be a lead on it, and you feel like, hey,
- 23:12Speaker 3: life is really fun and exciting right now. And there's
- 23:16Speaker 3: so many people that I can name that are just
- 23:18Speaker 3: like super accepting of it. They understand that it's weird,
- 23:22Speaker 3: they understand that it's not common, they understand that it's
- 23:26Speaker 3: a very odd thing to have happen, but they're still
- 23:31Speaker 3: very nice to you. And it's just if you look
- 23:33Speaker 3: back on past interviews with past leads on The Kelly
- 23:36Speaker 3: Live Show, it always gets awkward because it's always questioning
- 23:41Speaker 3: and it puts you in a weird place to have
- 23:43Speaker 3: to respond to questions that you don't really you can't
- 23:46Speaker 3: really answer. Yeah, I get it. It's not traditional. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 3: I get it.
- 23:49Speaker 2: This isn't what I would have expected from my life.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Do I think I'm gonna find love here? I sure hope.
- 23:53Speaker 3: So I don't really know, but it definitely got awkward Jin,
- 23:57Speaker 3: And it's kind of the first time that a lead
- 23:59Speaker 3: has spoken back.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Yes, she fought back a little bit. Now it's all playful,
- 24:05Speaker 4: but because we know Kelly's history, it is yeah, like
- 24:10Speaker 4: because we know her history with these comments, like we
- 24:14Speaker 4: know she really means them. But it does feel like
- 24:17Speaker 4: on TV playful and not like super scary. But I
- 24:20Speaker 4: do like the way that Jen kind of questioned her back.
- 24:24Speaker 4: So what happens is Kelly says, why why would you?
- 24:30Speaker 4: Why would you go on this show? You're so beautiful,
- 24:32Speaker 4: you can find a guy here or there. I just
- 24:35Speaker 4: don't understand, drop dead gorgeous. Why why why? And then
- 24:43Speaker 4: then Jen goes, well, didn't. Where did you meet your husband?
- 24:48Speaker 4: And they met on All My Children? And then she
- 24:51Speaker 4: was like on TV no, And then Kelly was so
- 24:54Speaker 4: quick to shut down the comparison, being like, those are
- 24:57Speaker 4: not the same. We were both professional. Are you acting
- 25:02Speaker 4: on your show? I didn't marry Mark's character Matteo Santez.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I married Mark Consuelos.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Not untrue, but I do think I think the bigger
- 25:13Speaker 3: picture is you can find love in the most random
- 25:17Speaker 3: and the most unexpected places.
- 25:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's you know, it's just a little offensive
- 25:23Speaker 4: to us who have found love there.
- 25:26Speaker 3: You go, I actually should go on there and tell
- 25:28Speaker 3: her that, hey, until next time, I've been there.
- 25:32Speaker 4: I've been Ashley. Next time, if I'm here, I well,
- 25:36Speaker 4: if I'm here soon, I still won't be able to breathe. Well,
- 25:39Speaker 4: if you've been able to tell But then in a
- 25:42Speaker 4: month or so, I should be able to rock breathing again.
- 25:45Speaker 4: So I'm really excited about that.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Guys. Actually, best of luck.
- 25:49Speaker 3: As always, we're going to sign off until well, you
- 25:52Speaker 3: aren't here with us. If it happens between now and
- 25:56Speaker 3: the next time I record.
- 25:58Speaker 4: We sure hope it doesn't, because that I mean, there's
- 26:00Speaker 4: a fiasco of Jared Guys.
