- 0:11Speaker 1: It's I do a Part two with your celebrity mentor
- 0:14Speaker 1: Kelly Clin mets On. So I'm talking to one of
- 0:18Speaker 1: my producers, Feather today and we are talking about a
- 0:21Speaker 1: guy that they set me up with Amy Sugarman and
- 0:24Speaker 1: had their Monday set me up with this really great guy,
- 0:26Speaker 1: and I can't wait to tell you every thing.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I Kelly have there.
- 0:33Speaker 3: So first of all, we have to dive in because
- 0:37Speaker 3: I believe you had a phone date with mister Tennis.
- 0:41Speaker 3: And if you don't know who mister Tennis is or
- 0:44Speaker 3: what we're talking about, you definitely need to go back
- 0:46Speaker 3: and listen to the last episode where we gave all
- 0:49Speaker 3: the intel on that. But okay, so first of all,
- 0:53Speaker 3: you had your phone date with mister Tennis. Tell me everything.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Okay, So miss stro Tennis, we were supposed to talk
- 1:01Speaker 1: last night. I was working until like eight thirty and
- 1:04Speaker 1: we were supposed to talk last night. He's in LA
- 1:06Speaker 1: and I'm in New York and he was like, no problem,
- 1:09Speaker 1: So hoop number one. I was like, you have a
- 1:11Speaker 1: certain amount of time to talk to me. No problem,
- 1:14Speaker 1: he called. I had my phone on silent because I
- 1:16Speaker 1: was doing a podcast, so my phone on silent, so
- 1:18Speaker 1: I didn't see his call, and I was like watching
- 1:23Speaker 1: like some TV show and I looked at my phone
- 1:26Speaker 1: and I was like, I'm just going to text him.
- 1:28Speaker 1: And it was literally like twelve forty five in the
- 1:30Speaker 1: morning here, and I'm just like, hi, sorry, I mister,
- 1:33Speaker 1: your phone call my you know my phone. I was like,
- 1:35Speaker 1: I just want to let him. I just wanted to
- 1:37Speaker 1: let him know that I was responding because he had
- 1:40Speaker 1: made the effort and I wanted him to know, like,
- 1:43Speaker 1: you know, I'm a I'm a I'm a lot of things,
- 1:45Speaker 1: but I'm not a jerk, and so like I'm going
- 1:47Speaker 1: to just respond and be like, hey, sorry, my phone
- 1:49Speaker 1: was literally on silent, but I'm up, so if you
- 1:53Speaker 1: want to talk. And then I was like talk question mark.
- 1:57Speaker 1: And then I'm like I just got to call him.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So I called him left to have a.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Message, so then he didn't answer.
- 2:03Speaker 1: He didn't answer. But this is something I never ever ever.
- 2:06Speaker 1: First of all, I'm not a phone person. I'm a
- 2:08Speaker 1: texting person, so you know, this is like so out
- 2:12Speaker 1: of my wheelhouse. But I was just like it's fine.
- 2:14Speaker 1: And then I was like, let's talk tomorrow morning.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait, go back did you leave him a
- 2:20Speaker 2: message when you called him on the phone.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yes, And I said, let's speak tomorrow morning because I
- 2:28Speaker 1: have to leave for to go skiing at eleven you
- 2:32Speaker 1: know New York times, And so he was like, okay,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'll call you at seven thirty LA time. I was like, wow, okay,
- 2:42Speaker 1: Like it's the holiday week, it's a big week for people.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Most people are off, and I just thought it was
- 2:47Speaker 1: really great that he was just like hoop one, number one,
- 2:50Speaker 1: hoop number two, like didn't care, like it's just like
- 2:54Speaker 1: a problem.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I also really liked the pace of communication. Right, he's
- 3:00Speaker 3: not leaving you on red, he's not not returning you
- 3:04Speaker 3: know all those kind of tropes that people think that
- 3:06Speaker 3: you have to do in the dating scene. You have
- 3:08Speaker 3: to wait three days to call somebody back, or wait
- 3:11Speaker 3: two hours before you respond to a text. He's not
- 3:13Speaker 3: doing any of that, you know what I mean? Which
- 3:15Speaker 3: I love. I love this, So way to go, mister Tennis. Okay,
- 3:19Speaker 3: so tell me then what happens.
- 3:22Speaker 1: So we start to talk, and he's very you can
- 3:26Speaker 1: tell immediately he's a very educated human just by the
- 3:29Speaker 1: way he talks, how he talks the subject matter.
- 3:33Speaker 2: What did you think of his voice.
- 3:35Speaker 3: When you heard his voice on the other end of
- 3:38Speaker 3: that call, Was it like deep and sexy? Was it like,
- 3:43Speaker 3: I don't know what did he sound like?
- 3:46Speaker 1: You can tell that he talks a lot on the phone.
- 3:49Speaker 1: He's got a great like game on the phone. Okay, charismatic,
- 3:56Speaker 1: very easy on the phone. Again, like I'm a Texter,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Like I can text you and till you're blue in
- 4:01Speaker 1: the face, but to talk to me on the phone,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, Okay, I like it for
- 4:08Speaker 1: some reason, you know, because he was vetted by you
- 4:13Speaker 1: and Amy. I just feel like I just want to
- 4:16Speaker 1: be open with him too, and so this is something
- 4:20Speaker 1: I would never do. But he I was just like,
- 4:24Speaker 1: I need you to know who I am from my
- 4:26Speaker 1: mouth so that we can just like have fun. And
- 4:31Speaker 1: he was like, okay. It was like, shoot, tell me whatever.
- 4:34Speaker 1: And so I told him about you know, not getting
- 4:37Speaker 1: married and why and you know, not that I'm like,
- 4:40Speaker 1: you know, money hungry. I just was protecting my kids.
- 4:44Speaker 1: And so we had a really really nice conversation about
- 4:48Speaker 1: all of that, and we talked about his kids, and
- 4:53Speaker 1: we talked about his ex wife. We talked about where
- 4:56Speaker 1: he grew up, and you know, his parents have been
- 4:59Speaker 1: together for my parents were together, so we had a
- 5:03Speaker 1: lot of like common upbringing, which I think means a
- 5:06Speaker 1: lot to people. You know, He's like, I'm I like
- 5:10Speaker 1: to play tennis, I'm an athlete. I'm like, I have
- 5:12Speaker 1: athletic tendencies. But I wouldn't say I'm like an athlete.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I just am like, you know, I like to go
- 5:17Speaker 1: for a run. That doesn't mean I'm, like, you know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: an all star athlete. But he's just got a lot
- 5:23Speaker 1: of the similar we have, like a similar upbringing, which
- 5:26Speaker 1: really makes things like it was just very easy to
- 5:29Speaker 1: communicate with him. I thought I was talking to someone
- 5:31Speaker 1: I had known for a long time.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Okay, was there flirting happening on the phone.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It was like I wouldn't say I was like a flirting,
- 5:43Speaker 1: but I was like doing things I wouldn't normally do,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Like I made a coffee and I was just talking
- 5:49Speaker 1: to him like I was. I wasn't sitting down. And
- 5:52Speaker 1: then I got my picked my dogs up, but I
- 5:54Speaker 1: took them to the walked them to the dog park.
- 5:55Speaker 1: We're outside, and I was just like it was like
- 5:58Speaker 1: a real life conversation, which normally again like if I'm
- 6:03Speaker 1: if anyone is taking me on a date or trying
- 6:06Speaker 1: to talk to me, I'm usually really really buttoned up
- 6:09Speaker 1: because I'm like they have all these preconceived notions. They
- 6:12Speaker 1: think I'm crazy, they think I'm this They like, you know,
- 6:16Speaker 1: why isn't she be married after all this time? What's
- 6:18Speaker 1: wrong with her? So like I just like self sabotage myself,
- 6:23Speaker 1: like crazy, and so I just don't say anything, which
- 6:27Speaker 1: makes a lot of guys think that I'm like you know,
- 6:31Speaker 1: they're like they're get they get mixed messages because I'm friendly,
- 6:36Speaker 1: but then I'm super reserved. So they're like you are
- 6:39Speaker 1: like you have so many you know, barriers and boundaries.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Was he flirting with you?
- 6:45Speaker 1: I think he was just trying to like get a
- 6:47Speaker 1: sense of like who I am, what I what my
- 6:52Speaker 1: what my possibilities are, Like I mean, obviously he lives
- 6:55Speaker 1: in California. Obviously I live in New York, so like
- 6:58Speaker 1: what does that look like? I think he was just
- 6:59Speaker 1: like Okay, he was like, you're a real You're a
- 7:02Speaker 1: cool chick. He's like, and I don't mean that, Like
- 7:05Speaker 1: he's like, you're just like really cool, easy and fun,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and like I'm like, I'm just I'm just ready for
- 7:12Speaker 1: my next chapter, like really ready, and I know people
- 7:14Speaker 1: are like my second chapter is going to be like this.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I don't have any preconceived notions of like what that
- 7:20Speaker 1: looks like. I just know that I don't I want
- 7:23Speaker 1: to be in an environmenthere I can trust someone and
- 7:26Speaker 1: I can just like feel good about feeling good. Like
- 7:30Speaker 1: that's my whole twenty twenty five forward thinking.
- 7:44Speaker 3: So tell me, like, did you guys make plans for
- 7:49Speaker 3: your first date in real life?
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yes, well, he says to me, very sweet. He was like,
- 7:55Speaker 1: you know, he was like, I know you're talking about me,
- 7:58Speaker 1: and I'm like, yeah, I'm talking about you because I
- 7:59Speaker 1: want the world to know. First of all, one reason
- 8:02Speaker 1: that I'm talking about this in real time is because
- 8:06Speaker 1: I want the world to know that there's nothing wrong
- 8:09Speaker 1: with being vulnerable, and there's nothing wrong with taking a risk,
- 8:12Speaker 1: and there's nothing wrong with doing something you might necessarily
- 8:15Speaker 1: think that's not the right thing for you because it
- 8:17Speaker 1: doesn't check all those boxes that everyone's checking. And so
- 8:22Speaker 1: I don't need to check a box. I just want
- 8:24Speaker 1: to enjoy my life. I've raised my kids on my own,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I've like gotten more degrees and licenses than I know
- 8:32Speaker 1: what to do with I. You know, I have this
- 8:34Speaker 1: like laundry list of like all of these accolades, but
- 8:38Speaker 1: I don't have trust. So what am I going to do? Like,
- 8:42Speaker 1: am I going to lay in my casket with like
- 8:45Speaker 1: my real estate licenses? Or am I going to be
- 8:48Speaker 1: smiling and happy?
- 8:50Speaker 2: I vote for smiling and happy, me too, thank you.
- 8:53Speaker 2: And also in.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Twenty twenty five, right, it's about, like you said, doing
- 8:59Speaker 3: things that you know, maybe you normally wouldn't do. Maybe
- 9:03Speaker 3: you normally wouldn't dat a guy that's on the other
- 9:05Speaker 3: side of the country, but maybe we just need to
- 9:09Speaker 3: switch it up a bit, you know, and try something new.
- 9:12Speaker 3: And it's not like he never comes to New York.
- 9:15Speaker 3: He has not only reason now, but he also works there.
- 9:20Speaker 3: So it kind of makes sense in you know, an
- 9:23Speaker 3: interesting way. I think that there's a lot here. So wait,
- 9:26Speaker 3: so go back, tell me about what's the plan for
- 9:30Speaker 3: the first date.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So he's like, we're definitely doing something in the new year.
- 9:33Speaker 1: And he was like, you know, your offices are at
- 9:36Speaker 1: iHeart and my offices are right around the corner. And
- 9:40Speaker 1: he also works with someone in it. He works in
- 9:42Speaker 1: the entertainment space and so and one of my really
- 9:45Speaker 1: close friends when I went to college with does something similar.
- 9:50Speaker 1: So he understands like my life and he understands too,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you know when you're like when I tell people that
- 9:56Speaker 1: I started modeling when I was fifteen, they're like, oh wow.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm like no, no, no, no no no wow. Like no,
- 10:04Speaker 1: like teaching yourself Latin at fifteen, because you're like traveling
- 10:09Speaker 1: to Mauritius with you know, by yourself. Like that's not
- 10:14Speaker 1: a wow, that's a okay, Like that was your path.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That's like when you had like someone that was like
- 10:19Speaker 1: on television when they were younger, It's like that's part
- 10:23Speaker 1: of their narrative. It's not a wow, it's like a oh, well,
- 10:27Speaker 1: you had the opportunity and some people do things with
- 10:30Speaker 1: it and some people don't. And he really kind of
- 10:35Speaker 1: understood that it's been really challenging for me to continue
- 10:42Speaker 1: to pivot to provide for my kids. And he was
- 10:44Speaker 1: very like, very very very sweet and very understanding.
- 10:48Speaker 3: What would you say was like your favorite part of
- 10:50Speaker 3: the conversation? Like what are you taking away from Like that?
- 10:55Speaker 3: Was there a moment?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Was there? Did he make you laugh?
- 10:57Speaker 3: Was there a story he told you about himself that
- 11:00Speaker 3: you were like, I think this is why I want
- 11:03Speaker 3: to talk or get to know mister Tennis a little
- 11:05Speaker 3: bit more.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I want to go get to know mister Tennis a
- 11:08Speaker 1: little bit more because he spoke about when his kids
- 11:12Speaker 1: were young and he got divorced and instead of moving
- 11:16Speaker 1: into like, you know, an equally big house, he moved
- 11:19Speaker 1: into a smaller apartment and he was with his kids
- 11:25Speaker 1: in this environment that was a far away from you know,
- 11:28Speaker 1: where his ex wife was, because he wanted his children
- 11:32Speaker 1: to have their home. And to this day he's like
- 11:36Speaker 1: his two kids are like, oh my god, remember when
- 11:39Speaker 1: we lived there, and how much fun that was. And
- 11:42Speaker 1: I really appreciate the fact that he got divorced and
- 11:48Speaker 1: made a concerted effort to ensure like the genuine wellness
- 11:53Speaker 1: of his children by like having a small environment so
- 11:57Speaker 1: that everyone was together and it was like a big hug.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And I know what that feels like because I'm in
- 12:01Speaker 1: that hug space right now with my little apartment. I
- 12:04Speaker 1: love being here. I mean, I just love it. And
- 12:08Speaker 1: so it was just really just felt good, just felt
- 12:13Speaker 1: good to hear that from men. And it wasn't like
- 12:16Speaker 1: I'm a single parent and I do everything my ex
- 12:20Speaker 1: one wife was not that. It was all about how
- 12:22Speaker 1: he could make his children feel safe.
- 12:26Speaker 3: And what do you think about dating a guy long
- 12:31Speaker 3: distance that also has kids that are maybe not as
- 12:35Speaker 3: old as your kids, Like, what do you think about that?
- 12:37Speaker 1: So I always wanted like a farm of children. I
- 12:40Speaker 1: love love kids, And that's one of my biggest regrets
- 12:43Speaker 1: is that I didn't have more kids. And I know
- 12:45Speaker 1: my two girls would be like mom, but I really
- 12:48Speaker 1: I love children. I just really appreciate them, their minds
- 12:53Speaker 1: and just like I just love children so much, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: so I wish that I had had more. I just
- 12:59Speaker 1: wasn't with the right peaceeople that I was in an
- 13:01Speaker 1: environment where I could, you know, be what you know,
- 13:03Speaker 1: make have more children. So I really regret that. So
- 13:07Speaker 1: that's one thing. And to hear him talk about his
- 13:10Speaker 1: kids just really made me like very happy. And I
- 13:14Speaker 1: love that. I love that I'm a Almi bear. That's
- 13:18Speaker 1: like who I am, Like, yeah, that's my first, that's
- 13:21Speaker 1: my first. You know, people are like, I'm a multi
- 13:24Speaker 1: heights in it. I'm like, I guess i am, but
- 13:26Speaker 1: I'm not really, I'm I'm a bear.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I think that's great.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And I love that you guys are connecting on something
- 13:32Speaker 3: that is so foundational to both of you, right, which
- 13:35Speaker 3: is being a parent, being an active parent in your kids' lives.
- 13:39Speaker 3: I think that's really amazing. Tell me, so we're going
- 13:42Speaker 3: to have our first.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I R L date in the new year. I love that.
- 13:46Speaker 3: But between now and then, what's the plan are you do?
- 13:51Speaker 3: You guys have another phone date set up? I know
- 13:54Speaker 3: you're about to leave on a ski trip. Like what
- 13:57Speaker 3: what are you thinking about doing or what's the next step?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Well, he was just very sweet too, and he was
- 14:03Speaker 1: like listen, He's like I want to talk to you.
- 14:05Speaker 1: He's like, you know, I know you're gonna be in
- 14:07Speaker 1: Vermont with your kids, but like I'm here and I'd
- 14:09Speaker 1: love to talk to you and call you and send
- 14:11Speaker 1: me pictures and you know, it's everything safe with me.
- 14:14Speaker 1: You can do you know, whatever you want to do,
- 14:15Speaker 1: you can't. I mean, obviously, just like not being weird,
- 14:17Speaker 1: but he was just like he loved the fact that
- 14:20Speaker 1: I sent him a little video with Tarzan and I
- 14:23Speaker 1: I love it.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Can I make a suggestion for the fun Okay, let's
- 14:27Speaker 3: think about this. Maybe it's when you're in Vermont maybe
- 14:33Speaker 3: it's a little uh like opery ski, little wine face
- 14:39Speaker 3: time or something together. You know, maybe the kids are
- 14:43Speaker 3: off doing something and Kelly's back at the lodge by herself.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Or maybe it's like a little I don't know, a
- 14:50Speaker 3: fond due date FaceTime or a little cooking like maybe
- 14:55Speaker 3: you're cooking dinner and you have him on FaceTime and
- 14:58Speaker 3: like he's chatting with you about like your day on
- 15:01Speaker 3: the slopes or something like. I think it's I don't
- 15:05Speaker 3: think it's inappropriate now that there's been an initial great
- 15:09Speaker 3: phone call to then follow that up with like a
- 15:12Speaker 3: cute little FaceTime mini date prior to the IRL date.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I love that. It was interesting too, is that he
- 15:30Speaker 1: was like I know that there's you're probably dating and
- 15:33Speaker 1: talking to a lot of people, which I was like okay,
- 15:38Speaker 1: and he was just like I just like hope that
- 15:40Speaker 1: you like wait for me and like so I can
- 15:42Speaker 1: meet you, Kelly.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I am dead.
- 15:44Speaker 3: That is so excuse me, mister Tennis. Mister Tennis. That
- 15:51Speaker 3: is such a gentleman line. That is I just asked
- 15:56Speaker 3: you if there was flirting. That is flirting. It's like
- 16:00Speaker 3: not like yes, that is like laying it down. That
- 16:04Speaker 3: is literally like, I understand that you are a high
- 16:08Speaker 3: value woman, because that is what he's saying by saying
- 16:11Speaker 3: that there are other men in your aura. Is I
- 16:15Speaker 3: acknowledge you are a high value woman, and I want
- 16:18Speaker 3: you to know that I am interested in you. So
- 16:22Speaker 3: I hope you don't forget about me like a girl.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I know this is calear communication. There is no gray
- 16:30Speaker 3: area with this man. Mister Tennis is interested.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Wow.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I love this, Kelly. You sent the universe.
- 16:42Speaker 3: You're like, this is what we've talked about, right, like
- 16:45Speaker 3: using this podcast to put out to the world what
- 16:49Speaker 3: you want. Right. So the first thing you did was
- 16:51Speaker 3: you wrote a letter to your dear future husband. And
- 16:55Speaker 3: now we're watching the ripple effects of that huge moment
- 17:00Speaker 3: where you put it all out. There is now coming
- 17:03Speaker 3: back to you.
- 17:04Speaker 2: This is so exciting.
- 17:06Speaker 1: When we started, I was very guarded. I was super insecure.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed. I was I was embarrassed. I
- 17:17Speaker 1: was humiliated. I felt like I had, like, you know,
- 17:22Speaker 1: hurt someone else. I felt like I had harmed my children.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Like there was just so much It's not like negativity,
- 17:31Speaker 1: it's just like there was so much. There were so
- 17:33Speaker 1: many feelings that were so raw and real, and I
- 17:37Speaker 1: don't feel like that anymore. I don't feel like there's hurt.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I feel like my kids are happy and healthy and
- 17:43Speaker 1: excited about things. You know, just it just feels good
- 17:47Speaker 1: to be an environment that's like happy, and you know,
- 17:51Speaker 1: who knows, who knows if it's going to be mister Tennis,
- 17:55Speaker 1: But I do know that I'm on the right path
- 17:57Speaker 1: to meeting that special human.
- 18:00Speaker 2: You definitely are.
- 18:01Speaker 3: And what I love about this is that mister Tennis
- 18:05Speaker 3: is being extremely clear right Like a lot of the
- 18:09Speaker 3: time I think we hear in dating stories, especially early on,
- 18:13Speaker 3: it's about like playing games, or it's about like am I.
- 18:18Speaker 3: We talked about this in the last episode, about like
- 18:21Speaker 3: am I texting too much? Am I not texting enough?
- 18:24Speaker 3: And all of that, And he is just being clear
- 18:27Speaker 3: and concise with all of his communication. He is saying,
- 18:31Speaker 3: I understand you're busy. I still want to see you.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I understand that you have a lot going on. I'd
- 18:37Speaker 3: still like to talk to you. I understand that you
- 18:40Speaker 3: have maybe other suitors or men pursuing you. I'm interested
- 18:44Speaker 3: in you. Like he is laying it all out there,
- 18:47Speaker 3: which I think is really wonderful, and I think like
- 18:51Speaker 3: this is a really great start to something special. So
- 18:55Speaker 3: I think all of I speak for all of us
- 18:57Speaker 3: listeners as well, that we can't wait to hear about
- 19:00Speaker 3: what the next mister Tennis update is. But definitely keep us,
- 19:06Speaker 3: you know, informed as to what happens. And you know,
- 19:10Speaker 3: we would we can't wait to have you go on
- 19:13Speaker 3: your first IRL date, Like that's going to be really exciting.
- 19:17Speaker 1: But don't you think it's strange? You know? He said
- 19:19Speaker 1: to me, Sorry, didn't interrupt you, but he said to
- 19:22Speaker 1: me too, he was like, normally I wouldn't do this.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I wouldn't try to make a plan with you. You're
- 19:28Speaker 1: you know, like to see you fly across the country
- 19:31Speaker 1: and see you for a certain for you know, for
- 19:33Speaker 1: an hour or you know. I wouldn't do those things
- 19:36Speaker 1: if I did, if it weren't if I weren't vetted
- 19:38Speaker 1: by a friend. And I was like when he said that,
- 19:42Speaker 1: I was like, that's so true, because he was like,
- 19:44Speaker 1: if I'd met you on RYE or something like that,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't do that. And I know a lot of
- 19:47Speaker 1: people that do, like get on planes and do all
- 19:49Speaker 1: that stuff, and like that's amazing, And I love that
- 19:52Speaker 1: sense of adventure, but like, I'm not that kind of person,
- 19:56Speaker 1: Like I'm I'm not like I would never do I
- 20:00Speaker 1: would never get on a plane to meet somewhere.
- 20:01Speaker 3: We're both doing something out of your comfort zone. But
- 20:04Speaker 3: I think it goes back to what we were talking
- 20:05Speaker 3: about in the last episode, right, which is like we
- 20:09Speaker 3: all need to get out of our comfort zone and
- 20:12Speaker 3: do things that are a little bit different if we
- 20:15Speaker 3: want to see different results. And on top of it,
- 20:18Speaker 3: we're also turning to the core people in our lives,
- 20:22Speaker 3: right for those kinds of great people. So I think
- 20:26Speaker 3: a lot of us are getting stuck in this white
- 20:28Speaker 3: mentality and then being frustrated by you know, those not
- 20:33Speaker 3: turning out well. But when we go to our actual
- 20:36Speaker 3: people in our lives who know us and also know
- 20:39Speaker 3: other great people, that's where really fantastic love connections can happen.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Or if it's not a love connection, maybe you're just
- 20:48Speaker 3: starting twenty twenty five off really nice and having your
- 20:52Speaker 3: faith and men reinstilled, because mister Tennis is being like
- 20:56Speaker 3: a real gentleman and you thus far haven't had a
- 21:00Speaker 3: lot of really great gentlemen in your life in recent years,
- 21:03Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 21:04Speaker 2: In the dating scene.
- 21:05Speaker 3: So it's nice that he's, if anything, he's reinforcing that
- 21:09Speaker 3: faith that there are good guys out there.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, I just want to be open
- 21:14Speaker 1: and follow lead with my heart, like I don't want
- 21:17Speaker 1: to be like And I told him this, and I said,
- 21:21Speaker 1: you know, I've been hiding behind all this work, and
- 21:25Speaker 1: even Cheryl and I talk about like we're so busy,
- 21:28Speaker 1: and we're so busy. I'm working, I'm providing la la
- 21:31Speaker 1: da da. Like the reason that we the reason that
- 21:34Speaker 1: I say that is because it protects me, because why
- 21:38Speaker 1: would I want to be open and trust my heart
- 21:41Speaker 1: with someone when I've had so many times before where
- 21:47Speaker 1: my heart has been broken.
- 21:49Speaker 3: So when you were talking to mister Tennis, did your
- 21:54Speaker 3: connection to Cheryl ever come up in the conversation.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I was like, oh my gosh, I spoke to Cheryl
- 22:02Speaker 1: yesterday and she told me that you guys went on
- 22:05Speaker 1: a date. And what he said he was like, yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 1: he's like she's celibate. And I was like, okay, I'm like,
- 22:12Speaker 1: but that was, you know, that was a while ago.
- 22:14Speaker 1: She's you know, she's amazing, she's so great. And he
- 22:19Speaker 1: was like, yeah, she is so great and he was
- 22:21Speaker 1: said so many really really complimentary things about her.
- 22:24Speaker 2: But he's like, I like you, I love that.
- 22:27Speaker 1: That's amazing, thank you. She's beautiful and amazing. I love Cheryl.
- 22:32Speaker 1: But he just said that. I said, well, don't worry
- 22:35Speaker 1: about I said, I said, you know, she did comment
- 22:37Speaker 1: that you were having a hard time picking a meal.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I said, don't worry about. I'll hope you picked the meal.
- 22:43Speaker 2: This is amazing. I'm so excited for you, Kelly.
- 22:46Speaker 3: You have to definitely keep me and all the listeners
- 22:49Speaker 3: updated on your journeys tennis.
- 22:52Speaker 2: This is amazing. Have so much fun. I can't wait
- 22:56Speaker 2: to hear more.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I'm excited to just again, like it just feels good
- 23:01Speaker 1: to feel good, and I want everyone just to feel good.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I just I just do. I mean, if I could
- 23:06Speaker 1: give the world a huge hug, I would, so, you know,
- 23:09Speaker 1: for twenty twenty five, I think we in the in
- 23:12Speaker 1: the spirit of love, we need to set each other
- 23:15Speaker 1: up with me, with people with friends and family, co workers, Facebook, friends, whatever.
- 23:20Speaker 1: It is, like, hey, you know I know someone he
- 23:22Speaker 1: just just got divorced, or someone you know might be
- 23:24Speaker 1: really good for you. You know, let people be the
- 23:27Speaker 1: matchmaker and you know, match with people that you know,
- 23:30Speaker 1: because because this world of just being out there, Yeah
- 23:34Speaker 1: it's interesting because you're gonna be someone that you wouldn't know.
- 23:36Speaker 1: But I think that that we're missing out on these
- 23:40Speaker 1: real strong connections because people are just afraid to match
- 23:43Speaker 1: make and you're not going to lose a friend. Your
- 23:46Speaker 1: friend's gonna like maybe she needs to work on herself
- 23:49Speaker 1: because you know, or he needs to work on hisself.
- 23:50Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with you. You're just like
- 23:52Speaker 1: matching and removing and whatever happens happens.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I love it so much fun Kelly, this is great.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Thanks Heather. I can't wait to clue you guys into
- 24:04Speaker 1: everything that happens on my journey with mister Tennis, and
