- 0:07Speaker 1: The stable coin bill is the lynch pin on possibly
- 0:10Speaker 1: a market explosion. Guys, you want to stick around for
- 0:13Speaker 1: this one. My name is Paul Barren. Welcome back in
- 0:14Speaker 1: the tech path. Let's get started. Coinbase thanking our sponsor,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and that is a place where you, guys can get
- 0:20Speaker 1: started on your crypto journey.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 0:22Speaker 1: If you are brand new to crypto, now is the
- 0:25Speaker 1: time to get in. Go over and set up an
- 0:26Speaker 1: account on coinbase, Buy some bitcoin, some ethereum, some avalanche,
- 0:30Speaker 1: whatever you want to get into.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Check it out and get started. Guys.
- 0:33Speaker 1: We are in a market position right now that I
- 0:36Speaker 1: think is about ready to take open. Here's Cody Carbone
- 0:40Speaker 1: coming in from the Digital Chamber and he says, hey,
- 0:43Speaker 1: feels like a.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Good week to move on stable coin legislation.
- 0:46Speaker 1: A lot of people are still pointing at this week
- 0:49Speaker 1: being the week for a stable coin, a bill coming through,
- 0:53Speaker 1: other things that are happening, first time ever that the
- 0:55Speaker 1: Treasury is barring at the Barring Advisory Committee discusses stable
- 0:59Speaker 1: coins as a new payment mechanism. Let me show you
- 1:01Speaker 1: something here that is pretty interesting. Look at this data
- 1:05Speaker 1: right here. I want to kind of zoom in on
- 1:06Speaker 1: this what they're expecting is potential rapid growth of around
- 1:11Speaker 1: nine hundred billion for t bills. That's coming into course,
- 1:14Speaker 1: remember treasuries or what backs most stable coins, especially if
- 1:17Speaker 1: you think about tether, and then if you look further
- 1:20Speaker 1: into this, let me go to another chart here within this,
- 1:23Speaker 1: remember the growth of stable coins. This is another other
- 1:26Speaker 1: than the twenty twenty two tra collapse. We were pretty
- 1:30Speaker 1: much on an upward swing here on stable coins. Obviously
- 1:34Speaker 1: it had that dip during this downturn, but now we've
- 1:37Speaker 1: seen nothing but a rising tide, and that has been
- 1:39Speaker 1: without a stable coin bill. That's why I think this
- 1:43Speaker 1: market catalyst is set up for a very very big
- 1:46Speaker 1: move overall other things that are happening right now. Because
- 1:49Speaker 1: the key here is that when you look at the
- 1:52Speaker 1: current bipartisan lineup in DC and whether or not this
- 1:57Speaker 1: is going to get passed right now, Democrats are possible
- 2:00Speaker 1: reversing course. And the reason is is it's kind of
- 2:02Speaker 1: the only position that they hold in terms of a
- 2:06Speaker 1: little bit of a card. A group of Democrats who
- 2:09Speaker 1: have previously backed the industry friendly crypto legislation wrote in
- 2:12Speaker 1: a statement Sunday the bill is currently stands still as
- 2:15Speaker 1: in numerous issues must be addressed, and I think what
- 2:17Speaker 1: they're doing this is typical in DC is they're leveraging
- 2:21Speaker 1: something they know is going to get through, but they
- 2:24Speaker 1: can cause a little bit of turmoil by getting something
- 2:28Speaker 1: they want, So it is just politics as usual. The bill,
- 2:31Speaker 1: which needs support from at least seven Democrats to pass
- 2:35Speaker 1: the Senate, is key. Those seven Democrats are going to
- 2:38Speaker 1: be the lynch pins going forward on this stable coined legislation.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Tom Emmer has talked about this as well, and his
- 2:45Speaker 1: statements are that if we get a stable coin bill
- 2:49Speaker 1: through along with it, the market structure bill is going
- 2:53Speaker 1: to come with it, and all of this could be
- 2:54Speaker 1: a huge catalyst going forward for the markets in general.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Stable coins obviously will be a big factor. Other things
- 3:01Speaker 1: that are happening right now in DC, of course, is
- 3:03Speaker 1: Senator Warren. She's out there using anything she can to
- 3:07Speaker 1: try to get in on the Genius Act, and she's
- 3:10Speaker 1: trying to denounce it by basically pushing back on what's
- 3:14Speaker 1: been happening with Trump.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And we're a liberty finance.
- 3:17Speaker 1: We'll talk about that in a second, but a lot
- 3:19Speaker 1: of this is boiling down into her just utilizing something to.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Throw out the crypto moves forward. Take a look at
- 3:27Speaker 2: this clip.
- 3:28Speaker 3: The United States is getting ready to bless Donald Trump's
- 3:31Speaker 3: latest grift. A shady Abu Dhabi investment firm just announced
- 3:37Speaker 3: it's going to make a two billion dollar business deal
- 3:41Speaker 3: with a foreign crypto company called Binance. So here's a kicker.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Binance and the foreign investment firm are going to use
- 3:50Speaker 3: Donald Trump's stable coin to finance their transaction, essentially giving
- 3:56Speaker 3: Trump a cut of that two billion dollar. Dear boy,
- 4:01Speaker 3: looks like corruption. Smells like corruption. Look, we could fix
- 4:05Speaker 3: this bill so that it stops this kind of corruption.
- 4:09Speaker 3: But if we do not, then every senator must volk
- 4:13Speaker 3: know or risk aiding and abetting Trump's corruption.
- 4:19Speaker 1: All Right, So, as you can see, this is not
- 4:22Speaker 1: new from Senator Warren. She's pretty much going to do
- 4:25Speaker 1: this regardless of anybody, including Trump or anybody else doing
- 4:29Speaker 1: anything in the crypto space. She has been that far
- 4:32Speaker 1: against crypto from the very beginning. Or remember, she's been
- 4:35Speaker 1: part of choke Point. She's been part of this whole
- 4:39Speaker 1: left side really pushing difficultly toward a lot of these
- 4:42Speaker 1: companies that have been trying to get things done. All
- 4:45Speaker 1: of that have been thrown out of courts now here recently,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and now we're starting to move in the right direction.
- 4:50Speaker 1: She's really grasping for straws, is what it boils down
- 4:53Speaker 1: to her. Here's Ron Hammond coming in from one of
- 4:56Speaker 1: the lobbies out there and he's talking about this month.
- 4:59Speaker 1: This is back to the point of the minority leverage.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Even though it's very small. They are going to push
- 5:05Speaker 1: a little bit on this bill and I think there
- 5:08Speaker 1: may be some things that end up getting taken out
- 5:10Speaker 1: of it. We don't know what that will be, but
- 5:11Speaker 1: the likelihood is this still is going.
- 5:13Speaker 2: To press forward very quickly.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Other things you look at right now, enough politics, let's
- 5:18Speaker 1: focus on doing what's right for change. Let's pass this
- 5:22Speaker 1: stable coin action now. And of course this is really
- 5:25Speaker 1: built around the fact that finance is moving forward with
- 5:29Speaker 1: or without us. One of the things that they're talking
- 5:32Speaker 1: about is how this may be moving in the side.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Of stable coins.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And if you look at the stable coin chart right
- 5:37Speaker 1: here and all coins, I want you guys to kind
- 5:41Speaker 1: of consider these bull run positions and the explosion that
- 5:46Speaker 1: we see when stable coins explosions occur.
- 5:49Speaker 2: We are right here.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And this could be the premises of an unbelievable all
- 5:56Speaker 1: coin run going forward. So a lot really writing on
- 5:59Speaker 1: this lable coin action this month.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Other things right now.
- 6:03Speaker 1: The SEC Commissioner Hester piersis tokenization is a technology that
- 6:07Speaker 1: could significantly transform financial markets. I believe this is pretty
- 6:11Speaker 1: much a done deal. I think the globe is now
- 6:14Speaker 1: starting to understand where this is going to be going.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And I think now we're going to see some of
- 6:19Speaker 1: the biggest countries in the world in a race to
- 6:22Speaker 1: compete with the United States around all of this. The
- 6:25Speaker 1: SEC also says they are announcing details for its fourth
- 6:29Speaker 1: industry roundtable. This is going to be happening on May twelfth.
- 6:32Speaker 1: There's a lot of people here that will be important
- 6:35Speaker 1: and one actually there's several Fidelity, Apollo Global, Securitized, robin Hood, Blackrock.
- 6:42Speaker 2: All of these are major.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Players in Wall Street moving into the idea of tokenized
- 6:49Speaker 1: securities and also maybe the shifting of the very stable
- 6:54Speaker 1: concept of Wall Street in itself. A lot is moving
- 6:57Speaker 1: right now in this month. May is going to be
- 6:59Speaker 1: a very month. And of course Warren Buffett retired and
- 7:03Speaker 1: kind of his parting thought was this, it might be
- 7:06Speaker 1: a good idea to own a lot of other currencies
- 7:09Speaker 1: beside the US dollar. So this is something that we've
- 7:11Speaker 1: talked about, is that there is a structure and a
- 7:14Speaker 1: belief that Trump and the administration is trying to weaken
- 7:17Speaker 1: the dollar for the ability to trade outside that. If
- 7:21Speaker 1: Buffett is correct and if that is happening the alternatives
- 7:25Speaker 1: around other assets like bitcoin, ethereum and mini all coins,
- 7:30Speaker 1: that is going to open up I think a huge
- 7:32Speaker 1: opportunity to possibly mainstream and legitimize what we've been talking
- 7:37Speaker 1: about here on this channel for years, and that is
- 7:40Speaker 1: the future of all of this blockchain and digital assets.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Let's go over to a couple of things I want
- 7:46Speaker 1: to look at right here, and that is the growth
- 7:49Speaker 1: of these stable coins. Here's Tether of course leading the way.
- 7:51Speaker 1: If you look at marketcap and comparison. One thing I
- 7:55Speaker 1: want to notice on is two billion right here on
- 7:58Speaker 1: World Liberty Finance USD one. That is what Warren is
- 8:01Speaker 1: talking about. This has been able to leap forward because.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Of you know who it is.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yes, the world understands this, but World Liberty, I think,
- 8:09Speaker 1: is a company much like anything that you know has
- 8:12Speaker 1: a family attached to it. When you think of the Trumps,
- 8:15Speaker 1: this is going to be one I think that will
- 8:17Speaker 1: continue to grow. I'm surprised that it went up so quickly.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Even if you compare that there's PayPal right there through
- 8:24Speaker 1: USD even Ripple still struggling at around three hundred bills
- 8:27Speaker 1: or three hundred mill So there is some openings here,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I think for stable coins, and there are some key
- 8:33Speaker 1: ones that most likely will be making their way into
- 8:37Speaker 1: the market very soon outside of USDC and tether. Be
- 8:40Speaker 1: on the lookout for those because I think some of
- 8:42Speaker 1: those are going to be pretty significant in some of
- 8:45Speaker 1: the major platforms, whether that's JP Morgan or robin Hood
- 8:48Speaker 1: or others that start to really create a lot of
- 8:51Speaker 1: opportunity there for stable coins. Let's go into one more point,
- 8:55Speaker 1: and this is talking about why this is so important
- 8:58Speaker 1: right now versus take a look.
- 9:01Speaker 4: I want crypto. I think crypto is important because if
- 9:04Speaker 4: we don't do it, China is going to and it's new,
- 9:08Speaker 4: it's very popular, it's very hot. If you look at
- 9:13Speaker 4: the market when the market went down, that stayed much
- 9:15Speaker 4: stronger than other aspects of the market. But I want
- 9:19Speaker 4: crypto because a lot of people, you know, millions of
- 9:21Speaker 4: people wanted I don't know if you know that Biden
- 9:24Speaker 4: went after it violently, and then before the election he
- 9:27Speaker 4: changes tune entirely, his head of the SEC. Everybody changed
- 9:31Speaker 4: their tune. You know why because there were hundreds of
- 9:33Speaker 4: millions of people that are participating in crypto and they
- 9:36Speaker 4: wanted to get their votes, all right.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So I still do believe that the crypto community swayed
- 9:42Speaker 1: a lot of the election direction. I'm not saying that
- 9:45Speaker 1: they were the catalyst of it, but when you look
- 9:47Speaker 1: the amount of money that was put in my coinbase
- 9:50Speaker 1: and a lot of the companies out there that have
- 9:52Speaker 1: been under fire for quite some time, and then you
- 9:55Speaker 1: look at the idea of innovation here in the United
- 9:59Speaker 1: States where we've pretty much run companies out of the US.
- 10:02Speaker 1: These nine Democrats, they are going to be voting on
- 10:04Speaker 1: this and this catalyst this week. They could fall into
- 10:07Speaker 1: the bucket of they were the guys or people that
- 10:11Speaker 1: let China start to win the next fight in the
- 10:15Speaker 1: financial future of the world. That's the kind of challenge
- 10:18Speaker 1: that we're up against right now. This is a very
- 10:20Speaker 1: critical time. We don't see many times like this in technology.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But I go back mini cycles of seeing this all
- 10:27Speaker 1: the way down to the top bomb I have not
- 10:29Speaker 1: seen one like this before, where you have AI blockchain
- 10:33Speaker 1: and a finance infrastructure being remapped almost at the same time.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Get ready, guys, We're going to see some new world powers,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and let's hope that the United States is part of that.
- 10:44Speaker 1: May fifth is the deadline for a Treasury Secretary to
- 10:47Speaker 1: deliver the evaluation on establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve. This
- 10:51Speaker 1: will be another factor whether this actually happens. I don't
- 10:54Speaker 1: know the fact that Bessett is still discussing that. I'm
- 10:57Speaker 1: still questioning whether or not we actually see one, but
- 11:00Speaker 1: I will be the first to talk about it if
- 11:02Speaker 1: it actually does come through. I think this will be
- 11:04Speaker 1: more around digital assets in general. And just as a reminder,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Pectra main NEETs upgrade is happening on May seventh, so
- 11:12Speaker 1: that's of course just here in a few days. This
- 11:14Speaker 1: could be a big deal for Ethereum, and we've talked
- 11:16Speaker 1: about this.
- 11:17Speaker 2: We did a full video on that.
- 11:18Speaker 1: We'll probably do one this week to give you guys
- 11:20Speaker 1: an update on where this could guide the ETH investments
- 11:25Speaker 1: and where that might look in terms of holding that
- 11:28Speaker 1: eighteen hundred mark, which is what ETH has been really struggling.
- 11:32Speaker 2: To outpace over the past few weeks.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Other things I want to hit on right here. House
- 11:36Speaker 1: Republicans Tax Bill one of the things this course is
- 11:39Speaker 1: talking about. Mike Johnson is pushing to have the bill
- 11:41Speaker 1: wrapped up by Memorial Day, so be on the lookout.
- 11:44Speaker 1: This could be a big one if it goes to
- 11:46Speaker 1: the Senate and gets through. One more clip I want
- 11:48Speaker 1: to get to, and that one is Tom Lee talking
- 11:51Speaker 1: about are we in all time highs?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Again? Take a look. I take that at phase value.
- 11:57Speaker 2: But if is it's a permanent regime of tariffs.
- 12:01Speaker 4: You still think we get the new highs in twenty
- 12:04Speaker 4: twenty five or by twenty twenty six.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Yes, I think new highs are possible this year. I
- 12:11Speaker 5: mean one reason is companies have proven themselves to manage
- 12:15Speaker 5: through shocks, and I don't think investors give them them
- 12:17Speaker 5: enough credit. That happened with COVID. Companies survived. Companies survived
- 12:22Speaker 5: a bullwep effect on the economy, They survived a surge
- 12:25Speaker 5: in inflation, they survived the FED hiking at the fastest
- 12:28Speaker 5: rate ever. So I think this tariff shock, well, it
- 12:31Speaker 5: is shocking. I think earnings will probably outperform expectations. I mean,
- 12:35Speaker 5: that'd be one thing, and then I think the things
- 12:38Speaker 5: that were leading us down, whether it's Tesla or the
- 12:41Speaker 5: MAG seven or bigcoin, they've been gone to recover. In fact,
- 12:45Speaker 5: as you know, bitcoin's above, it's April second level. So Bitcoin,
- 12:49Speaker 5: I think, is telling us the S and P should
- 12:51Speaker 5: recover towards a fifty eight hundred level in the near term,
- 12:54Speaker 5: and that's still upside from here, all right.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So some points you have to remember around Tom Lee,
- 13:00Speaker 1: he's been kind of a perma bule. If we play
- 13:03Speaker 1: his clips off in here, he's always bullish. This is
- 13:06Speaker 1: the year for some of these all time high. He's
- 13:08Speaker 1: been calling Bitcoin at one point fifty and greater. He's
- 13:11Speaker 1: also been looking at a complete resurgence of the stock market.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I don't know that that happens in the MAG seven.
- 13:19Speaker 1: But you also have to consider, you know, kind of
- 13:21Speaker 1: the future here of where a lot of this is
- 13:23Speaker 1: going around tariffs, and I think that is really the
- 13:27Speaker 1: guiding factor because we haven't had tariffs truly go into
- 13:30Speaker 1: effect yet, and if Trump comes off of them before
- 13:35Speaker 1: that even happens, do we just get a rebound before
- 13:38Speaker 1: tariffs even become a thing. And has this all been
- 13:41Speaker 1: a negotiation ploy that's the question I think everybody's asking
- 13:45Speaker 1: from Bricks News. President Trump of course says at some
- 13:48Speaker 1: point he's going to lower tariffs on China because otherwise
- 13:52Speaker 1: you can't do any business with him. And he understands
- 13:54Speaker 1: this is the second largest economy in the world next
- 13:57Speaker 1: to the United States, and he understands that this is
- 14:00Speaker 1: going to have to be a bedfellow for trading partners
- 14:04Speaker 1: that has to come to an agreement that tells me
- 14:07Speaker 1: he's ready to negotiate. Hopefully the Chinese see it is
- 14:09Speaker 1: the same way. We're going to be covering that and
- 14:11Speaker 1: much more this week. So make sure and subscribe to
