James 2:14-26 - Well Done is Better Than Well Said
In chapter one, James emphasized the importance of being Doers of the Word and not hearers only. Here in Chapter Two, James says, the faith that produces good works is the faith that saves. In these verses, James illustrates two types of people who profess faith: people who say they have faith but have no works; James says, the faith that has no works is the same as the faith demons have, believing without obedience; and people who have saving faith, which is faith that has evidence of good works
