huddle for January 6 2025 welcome to the
• 0:05
new year uh your two-minute play of the
• 0:08
day for applying God's word in your life
• 0:10
so let's huddle up and start this New
• 0:12
Year from Genesis 11 now the whole world
• 0:16
had one language in a common speech and
• 0:18
then they said come let us build
• 0:20
ourselves a city with a tower that
• 0:22
reaches to the heavens so that we may
• 0:24
make a name for ourselves otherwise
• 0:26
we'll be scattered over the face of the
• 0:28
whole earth the Lord said as if if if as
• 0:31
one people speaking the same language
• 0:35
they've begun to do this then nothing
• 0:37
they plan to do will be impossible for
• 0:39
them come let us go down and confuse
• 0:42
their language so they'll not understand
• 0:44
each other so the Lord scattered them
• 0:47
from all over the Earth and they stopped
• 0:49
building the city and that's why it was
• 0:51
called Babel because there the Lord
• 0:53
confused the language of the whole world
• 0:55
from there the Lord scattered them over
• 0:57
the face of the Earth you know one of
• 1:00
the great difficulties uh for humans is
• 1:03
  the language barrier between people
• 1:05
Unity is hindered by the inability to
• 1:07
  communicate why are there different
• 1:09
languages in the world like the answer
• 1:12
to why there is evil in the world is
• 1:13
that humans chose to be God instead of
• 1:16
recognizing the one true God as God and
• 1:19
worshiping him God responds to our
• 1:22
Rebellion against him with judgment that
• 1:25
should cause us to repent and follow him
• 1:28
  our difficulties are self inflicted
• 1:30
  wounds from Rebellion against God
• 1:33
originally God created Humanity to be
• 1:35
Humanity to be his sons and daughters
• 1:38
Unity of purpose language and Destiny
• 1:40
was his plan for us but we wanted
• 1:42
nothing to do with his rule over us
• 1:44
though it is good and best for us we
• 1:47
continue to go on our own way choosing
• 1:49
our own purpose and Destiny and giving
• 1:52
God an occasional recognition at best
• 1:55
life is hard because we disobey God life
• 1:58
is hard even when we obey God God now
• 2:00
because so many others refuse allegiance
• 2:03
to him in Jesus the savior of The World
• 2:06
God will recreate the heavens and the
• 2:08
earth when he returns to earth
• 2:10
recreating the bodies of those who love
• 2:12
him now with bodies that will live with
• 2:14
him forever when God and his people live
• 2:17
together on the new Earth it'll be
• 2:19
forever with one language in joy peace
• 2:22
love and unity because all will
• 2:24
acknowledge Jesus as king of kings and
• 2:26
Lord of lords people will no longer
• 2:29
Rebel against God but will obey his good
• 2:32
commands for they bring life and health
• 2:34
to our mind our bodies and our spirit
