• 0:54
[SPEAKER_06]: Are you all World Cup down yet, or are you still going down in the finish line on this thing?
• 0:57
[SPEAKER_06]: Hell no man, messy baby messy!
• 1:02
[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to hear Charlie Tanks for the show and then just like, oh, no, no, no, no.
• 1:08
[SPEAKER_03]: No, you know what, man, I mean, honestly, I wouldn't, I wouldn't give a damn, you know, but that's one of our guys, man.
• 1:15
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Miami, you know, down here.
• 1:17
[SPEAKER_03]: He's, he's revitalized soccer in the U.S. Again, you know, MLS, even though I don't, I don't watch very many games.
• 1:24
  [SPEAKER_03]: I did subscribe.
• 1:25
[SPEAKER_03]: I already had Amazon Prime when it was at the beginning, but hey, man,
• 1:29
[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's I love like Olympic sports and things like that when countries come together and I love what I love what World Cup is done for, you know, the North Americans, you know, the the amount of people that have shown up and, you know, been in Canada, been in the United States, been in Mexico, you know, it's been it's been great.
• 1:51
[SPEAKER_03]: It really has been man and, you know, obviously United States, we're not into.
• 1:56
[SPEAKER_03]: football, like everybody else is, but same time, no man, the craze has been crazy.
• 2:02
[SPEAKER_03]: When, like we talked about a little bit last week, right, Mike, when I hop in, you know, Apple bees and all that stuff, you want to race, you're really bad, man.
• 2:10
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, why went to London and they had no season and no nothing.
• 2:13
[SPEAKER_03]: It was all bland, bland, bland.
• 2:14
[SPEAKER_03]: So, I get why they come over here and they're enjoying
• 2:18
[SPEAKER_03]: You know how, you know how we eat over here.
• 2:20
[SPEAKER_03]: We eat well over here.
• 2:21
[SPEAKER_03]: We really do have a lot of other countries and some people get a taste of that literally a taste of that big set
• 2:29
[SPEAKER_06]: I see what you did there.
• 2:30
[SPEAKER_06]: I see what you did there.
• 2:31
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he's on it.
• 2:32
  [SPEAKER_06]: He's on it.
• 2:33
[SPEAKER_06]: So before we get too deep in anything as always we are joined by our Emmy adjacent producer.
• 2:40
[SPEAKER_06]: He has the legendary Savak getting that car fired up.
• 2:42
[SPEAKER_06]: It sounded really good before we started things up over here and the lighting is perfect.
• 2:46
[SPEAKER_03]: The lighting is perfect Savak.
• 2:48
[SPEAKER_03]: So nice work and man.
• 2:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: Wait a minute.
• 2:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: Hold up me.
• 2:51
[SPEAKER_03]: He's looking way too light skin right now.
• 2:56
[SPEAKER_03]: He got a great camera.
• 2:57
[SPEAKER_03]: Why does he need all that lightning, man?
• 2:59
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, when he turns that light on, it's a different deal.
• 3:01
[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't think there's any window in that room.
• 3:03
[SPEAKER_06]: That garage is all blacked out over there for sure.
• 3:07
[SPEAKER_06]: And we are thrilled to have our buddy Mike O'Liva back from Don't We Talk.
• 3:12
[SPEAKER_06]: So Mike, I'm glad you're in here.
• 3:14
[SPEAKER_06]: I purpose was supposed to be here.
• 3:16
[SPEAKER_06]: But he said he was meeting up with a bunch of buddies to watch the World Cup game.
• 3:19
[SPEAKER_06]: And he said he wasn't sure what was going to happen after that.
• 3:21
  [SPEAKER_06]: So.
• 3:23
[SPEAKER_03]: The game is only over like five o'clock.
• 3:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, damn, he was just getting harder.
• 3:30
[SPEAKER_03]: You might have pulled some out of there, you know, man.
• 3:33
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, the person where you go big Seth, you know, you might, you mean, did you go to English pub?
• 3:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Or did you go to an Irish, you know, I mean, you know, Argentinian bar or club, or something like that.
• 3:44
[SPEAKER_03]: I would go watch with Argentinians because
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I think that the selection there is probably a little better than, you know, not better, let me talk about it.
• 3:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Let me shut the hell up, but I said do.
• 3:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know where you're going.
• 3:56
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know where you're going.
• 3:57
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know where you're going.
• 3:58
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know where you're going.
• 3:59
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, thank you, Mike.
• 3:59
  [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Mike.
• 4:01
  [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Mike.
• 4:01
  [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Mike.
• 4:02
  [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Mike.
• 4:03
[SPEAKER_06]: We've been in while it is July 15.
• 4:05
[SPEAKER_06]: There are a few things to discuss in Dolphins land.
• 4:07
[SPEAKER_06]: But before we get in any of that, Mike, I know you wanted to discuss the Dolphins talk military fan of the year contest.
• 4:14
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, real quick, because I haven't had a show since we put this out.
• 4:18
[SPEAKER_04]: This is your number six for us if you are serving in a military or if you have someone in your family or a friend who has served or is serving and if they want to go to a Miami Dolphins home game this year, drop me a quick email at DolphinsTalk1977 at email.com, give me your name, one in where you're served, and just a quick short few sentences on why you think you should win.
• 4:43
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, let me know what home game you want to go to as well and then I think like for a second week August myself and Tom in a few of us here from our website We go through all the people and we pick a winner which is always the hardest part because there's so many people and probably should when we pick a winner And you can win two tickets to a home game a parking pass and give you it and you also get 100 bucks to spend on food You wanted to have sure whatever we give you a hundred bucks as well
• 5:07
[SPEAKER_04]: So, if you know someone or if that's you, please be sure six years in a row we've done this.
• 5:13
[SPEAKER_04]: It's always a lot of fun to support the military and support a fan of the Miami dolphins who served in the military and if you had people, once they've told them they won't, they've cried.
• 5:25
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's just, it's a great thing.
• 5:26
  [SPEAKER_06]: It's beautiful, man.
• 5:28
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so if you're into that, uh, you know, please be sure to submit your entry here in Mike also let me let me add this Mike whoever the winner is I'll be sure to find a way to meet and greet with those guys and there we go I mean and you know the mean on top of that man and
• 5:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully, if it's tough, it's tough, it's hard to get into the alumni's sweet big sad, but I know a couple of people, man.
• 5:52
[SPEAKER_03]: If I can get it, come in and say high real quick, I know what you're going to be able to come in and stay.
• 5:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 5:57
[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to be trying to say what's up, man.
• 5:59
[SPEAKER_03]: And you're going to be great.
• 6:00
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we'll try to figure that out.
• 6:01
[SPEAKER_04]: Also, real quick, we said they didn't tell you this.
• 6:04
[SPEAKER_04]: I loved that, uh, because I know I had one, then you helped me out, sort of making one, two, are this day in Miami Dolphin's history.
• 6:12
[SPEAKER_04]: And this weekend on July 18th, the ring that's far, I'm not sure.
• 6:15
[SPEAKER_04]: July 18th, we got a big day in Miami Dolphin's history.
• 6:19
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 6:20
[SPEAKER_04]: And it involves our friend, O.J.
• 6:22
  [SPEAKER_04]: O.J.
• 6:23
[SPEAKER_04]: What happened on July 18th?
• 6:28
[SPEAKER_03]: 1993 flight team that's the year I was drafted July 18th it's probably we didn't play a precinct game did I take a kick-off now I'm the girl right that's too way too early even better
• 6:43
[SPEAKER_04]: you signed your first NFL contract.
• 6:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, man, that car.
• 6:48
  [SPEAKER_03]: Real money.
• 6:48
[SPEAKER_03]: We often fail that day.
• 6:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the contract, that's supposed to be a million dollars.
• 6:52
[SPEAKER_03]: And I got the check in the $500,000 that one.
• 6:55
[SPEAKER_03]: That one, July, 19th, 19th, 19th, 19th, 19th, who the hell fack is, man?
• 7:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Who the hell is fack?
• 7:01
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, they have a new name these days.
• 7:06
  [SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's cool.
• 7:07
  [SPEAKER_06]: Very cool.
• 7:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, we have to go back.
• 7:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, man.
• 7:10
[SPEAKER_03]: I got to write that one down.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_04]: I think Seth put that one on my list.
• 7:12
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, because I don't like it because I don't know what it is.
• 7:15
  [SPEAKER_04]: I think Seth.
• 7:16
[SPEAKER_06]: Back for that, like 37 podcasts, we were going to start.
• 7:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
• 7:21
[SPEAKER_04]: One of the brainstorming ideas is that sound good.
• 7:24
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm paper.
• 7:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Glad we're not doing that one.
• 7:26
  [SPEAKER_03]: So.
• 7:28
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, big Seth, I need a quick time out.
• 7:30
[SPEAKER_03]: You guys, I'll see you on.
• 7:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'll be right back.
• 7:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
• 7:33
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be on the door.
• 7:35
  [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
• 7:36
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, so here's what I wanted to get into.
• 7:38
[SPEAKER_06]: And I guess if you were waiting for this, you saw it as the thumbnail in YouTube.
• 7:42
[SPEAKER_06]: What I wanted to get into was obviously training camps right around the corner here.
• 7:48
[SPEAKER_06]: Are we set where we are, or do the dolphins need to make one more big move before they open up camp?
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_06]: And we can go, we can do a round robin here.
• 7:57
  [SPEAKER_06]: I'd love to get everybody's opinion.
• 7:59
[SPEAKER_06]: And there's some rumors out there.
• 8:00
[SPEAKER_06]: In fact, I think Savac was telling me he was reading one this morning.
• 8:03
[SPEAKER_06]: There was a potential rumor about signing a wide out.
• 8:06
[SPEAKER_06]: What was that that you were reading, Savac?
• 8:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I, yes, that was pertaining to a wide receiver room.
• 8:13
[SPEAKER_02]: The Bleacher Report's Mo Moton recently suggested the Dalton should attempt to acquire the Carolina Panthers wide out in former first rounder Xavier Legut.
• 8:24
  [SPEAKER_06]: the Xavier legate.
• 8:25
[SPEAKER_06]: So, you know, outside of all the great social media stuff with his accent, his country accent, skin and squirrels and all that other stuff, that's the question I want to pose to you guys.
• 8:38
[SPEAKER_06]: And you could comment on the legate situation or if you think there's something else you need to do, or if you just want them to get the camp with the roster set the way it is, choose, what are your thoughts?
• 8:48
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm always about bringing in all kinds of receivers.
• 8:53
[SPEAKER_03]: It's always about the receivers, you know, and, you know, I like like it, you know, so that's not a bad idea either, you know, also looked at, you know, some people might scratch their head about guys like Stefan Diggs, you know, you, you want a veteran presence out there.
• 9:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I still like Debo San use.
• 9:10
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, guys that that can can do multiple things.
• 9:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the dolphin brass is looking at guys that do multiple things and and that's one guy that can do multiple things.
• 9:22
[SPEAKER_03]: So I like that, you know, always want to, you know, both sir that why I was here position especially because we're so young there.
• 9:28
[SPEAKER_03]: I'd rather have a veteran guy come in, that's obviously low money, low headache.
• 9:35
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, those two guys I suggested are low headache, but at the same time, no, sometimes you get into a situation where, you know, I mean, you get Randy Moss and guys like that that go to a New England Patriots and then become different guys and they
• 9:58
[SPEAKER_03]: guys that if had a past you know we know Jimmy Johnson tried to resurrect a lot of guys that were pretty bad and they were good for a little while and then they you know coming south Florida and it's a problem.
• 10:10
[SPEAKER_03]: South Florida might be the biggest issue of all that stuff.
• 10:13
[SPEAKER_03]: You can go to New England, you can go to Buffalo, you can go to Green Bay and be okay.
• 10:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Because the environment will allow you to just play ball, you know, and focus on football.
• 10:24
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not the case to hire a big staff as you know, man.
• 10:26
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of, a lot of distractions like we just talk about Argentina.
• 10:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: There's 30 something.
• 10:32
[SPEAKER_03]: It's basking robins down here when it comes to stuff.
• 10:36
[SPEAKER_03]: 30 30 exactly right exactly right Mike it's you know and it's and it's open 24 7365 you know and that's always I could always be a problem for anybody coming in as a young guy or as a guy that comes here with little money in their pocket so it's always tough so I don't know if we were talking to other guys you know there's a guy also that I thought that you know could be a big boost this is about the boost because I you know I was grabbing my food
• 11:03
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he'd be bicycle over here.
• 11:05
[SPEAKER_03]: But give a nice tip.
• 11:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: And it's still a dedication.
• 11:08
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, absolutely.
• 11:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, Mike, he's a paying a gas money man.
• 11:11
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's, you know, you know, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, 49, what they paid for gas, he didn't have to pay that man.
• 11:18
[SPEAKER_03]: I think his bike was elected to, I didn't really see it.
• 11:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: So he really's cheating.
• 11:21
[SPEAKER_06]: He's also not caught up in traffic, right?
• 11:23
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he can just, you know, do the rest of the time.
• 11:25
[SPEAKER_03]: I walk and do it at wherever the hell he wants down here.
• 11:28
[SPEAKER_03]: It's our Florida, but, you know, another guy, you know, that we're talking about, we're talking about the same thing.
• 11:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, this is what we're talking about, right?
• 11:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Other than, you know, just guys that we're talking about it possibly coming in.
• 11:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: Correct.
• 11:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's what I guess.
• 11:42
[SPEAKER_06]: So the question is, do you think they need to do anything?
• 11:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Do they need to do anything?
• 11:46
[SPEAKER_06]: And whether you do think they do or don't?
• 11:49
[SPEAKER_06]: What would be one move you'd like to do?
• 11:51
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 11:51
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 11:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 11:52
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's what I thought makes sense.
• 11:54
[SPEAKER_03]: I got the outline, bro.
• 11:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 11:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: Pay attention.
• 11:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you have a question.
• 11:57
[SPEAKER_03]: So I just was like, you know, I was going, man.
• 11:59
[SPEAKER_03]: You just filled me in, but I might get back, bro.
• 12:01
  [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm here.
• 12:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Are you talking about Savak and what do you add in mining stuff, man?
• 12:04
  [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
• 12:05
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm back.
• 12:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
• 12:07
[SPEAKER_03]: But a guy that I really I think could be very interesting even though I have a lot of problems with his dad.
• 12:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, boy.
• 12:14
[SPEAKER_03]: It's Joey Bosa He isn't his dad and I go back and forth man.
• 12:20
[SPEAKER_03]: We we do not like each other, but you know I mean there are a lot of guys I did not like on the football field You know my team that I play with you know, I mean I they can if they can ball
• 12:31
[SPEAKER_03]: That might be not a bad idea for him to come home.
• 12:34
[SPEAKER_03]: And honestly, pick up his dad's legacy where his dad felt short, you know what I mean?
• 12:41
[SPEAKER_03]: That'd be interesting, I enjoy both of pick up.
• 12:43
[SPEAKER_03]: So there's just some guys that we should do.
• 12:45
  [SPEAKER_03]: I like a veteran presence though.
• 12:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: We're so young, we're so young.
• 12:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Find a veteran presence on, you know, in different positions, especially those that lack a veteran presence.
• 12:55
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think our defense event or edge wrestlers probably are still young with chopping those guys.
• 13:00
[SPEAKER_03]: And noted, our widest he was a very young.
• 13:02
[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, those are the two positions that I would think about.
• 13:05
[SPEAKER_03]: We're having some guys that, you know, that, you know, that could help this football team out, but also bring some leadership, hopefully leadership quality to team.
• 13:14
[SPEAKER_03]: On the cheap though, right.
• 13:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you don't want to be on the cheap everything's on the cheap on you Mike.
• 13:19
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm as money.
• 13:19
[SPEAKER_06]: We got left Mike Mike Mike much, well, that's the thing I think it's my give for the stuff anyway.
• 13:26
[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly, you're going to 100 bucks this year.
• 13:28
  [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, just kidding.
• 13:29
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, that's the thing with this, like sure.
• 13:32
[SPEAKER_04]: I would add anybody because I have a list here of a lot of things that would help this team because I also think in the Secondary we need a ton of help as well.
• 13:41
[SPEAKER_04]: So add Russia wide receiver secondary would be the three spots like you said Samuel.
• 13:45
[SPEAKER_04]: You got Martian, lad a more corner.
• 13:49
[SPEAKER_04]: You got Hassan, reticate the edge, Joey Bosa, the one who bring back John who smith the tight end, you can bring him back.
• 13:56
[SPEAKER_04]: He's still out there on site.
• 13:57
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's a lot of names, but I inside and anybody for more than a minimum.
• 14:03
[SPEAKER_04]: And on this list, it's got what these guys made last year, Marshall on Latamore, 1995, Samuel, 175, all these guys are 12, 10,
• 14:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Are they going to sign a one-year deal for the vet minimum?
• 14:19
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'd be very surprised.
• 14:21
[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's where John Erick Sullivan and his new packer's way.
• 14:25
[SPEAKER_04]: It's about forever to develop.
• 14:27
[SPEAKER_04]: You bring in these guys.
• 14:29
[SPEAKER_04]: They might stop some of these younger players from getting more players out of time.
• 14:32
[SPEAKER_04]: I understand, you bring in that progress.
• 14:34
  [SPEAKER_04]: I understand it.
• 14:35
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's right here.
• 14:36
[SPEAKER_04]: And you don't want to progress stop or but.
• 14:39
  [SPEAKER_04]: Look.
• 14:40
[SPEAKER_04]: I think we all know what this year is.
• 14:42
[SPEAKER_04]: It's 180 million a dead money on the cap.
• 14:45
[SPEAKER_04]: Is it worth signing one of these guys or just let the young kids play?
• 14:49
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what we got.
• 14:51
[SPEAKER_04]: We got a lot of first and second year guys.
• 14:52
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just see, sink or swim.
• 14:55
[SPEAKER_04]: Everyone, if you can't get time on the field this year, if you remember the dolphins, that's a you problem.
• 15:00
[SPEAKER_04]: Because there's a lot of opportunity at a lot of position.
• 15:03
[SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know if this is the year to do something like this,
• 15:07
[SPEAKER_04]: Now, look, if we had Chris Greer, he probably signed five of these guys and would be, and he'd just go load up.
• 15:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: What I don't know.
• 15:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
• 15:15
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
• 15:15
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's July 15th.
• 15:16
  [SPEAKER_04]: Come out.
• 15:17
[SPEAKER_04]: I got to get the last few wins before we get to camp.
• 15:20
[SPEAKER_04]: We don't talk about it anymore.
• 15:21
[SPEAKER_04]: But the point is, I don't know if you want to sign Leonard Floyd who got like 9 million last year.
• 15:29
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so he comes in one year, four or five months.
• 15:32
  [SPEAKER_04]: Can you afford it?
• 15:32
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 15:33
  [SPEAKER_04]: Is it worth it?
• 15:34
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
• 15:35
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I just think this year is what this year is.
• 15:38
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what the young kids got and because there's a lot of them and I don't know if this is the year to make that type of move.
• 15:46
  [SPEAKER_04]: That minimum sign anybody.
• 15:49
[SPEAKER_04]: But no, these guys are signin' for vet minimums.
• 15:51
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's the problem.
• 15:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, here's the thing too though, Mike.
• 15:53
[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, I love that.
• 15:55
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a great point right there, but a lot of times the guys that made the money they've made, they're trying to get one more year in.
• 16:01
[SPEAKER_03]: another year and you know I mean they they've made a lot of money and if they're sitting at home still they're not they can't expect to make a lot of money if they come into a camp in July or August or early September I mean they really can't but some of them that probably gets in the way
• 16:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Hell, they would've told me to come in except Timber and you know make the vet minimum I'll come in and yeah, I strapped it up for one play and then get hurt again And then you know me and then I take my money and run with it, you know, and maybe some of these guys You know, pride is a motherfucker.
• 16:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Excuse my French you guys.
• 16:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there we go now Ready
• 16:39
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, but I'm saying like if somebody's guys want to come and be a part of some, and one other fact that a lot of teams don't have is they, the Miami factor, man, who wouldn't want to come with any shopping and and like living Miami for a year no matter what.
• 16:54
[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen a lot of guys come and play for very little money here, you know, they didn't give us much out of the, but living in my ass.
• 17:00
[SPEAKER_04]: That's the thing, like, is it worth a ton at that point?
• 17:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, you know, like you said, with that minimum, I mean, it could be worth it.
• 17:07
[SPEAKER_03]: If they can come and look, we, we, we asked some guys that have been here, you know, that, hey, men here.
• 17:15
[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't think there would be very good.
• 17:16
[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't think they'd be able to work out for who's our tight-end last year.
• 17:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Who's the tight end who came in the top of the Yeah, last year warrior.
• 17:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you know, I mean, and we didn't think he was going to be worth anything And you came in and you gave us half a season of pretty good football And kind of the touch on the game has touched on a lot of games of good football and they might be I forgot he was on the field that point there without that one happening.
• 17:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so speaking of tight-end when you brought up John who Smith
• 17:48
[SPEAKER_06]: They traded John and Smith, right?
• 17:51
[SPEAKER_06]: And with with Rams, he got rid of a headache.
• 17:55
[SPEAKER_06]: John and Smith got paid the $12 million.
• 17:56
[SPEAKER_06]: They did not, they did not, I guess, to come to the Drew Rosenhaus, John and Smith leverage there of the $12 million total washout.
• 18:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he did, you know, nowhere near the season that he had in Miami.
• 18:10
[SPEAKER_06]: If they end up getting him back on the cheap,
• 18:13
[SPEAKER_06]: And they got those draft fix.
• 18:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Is that a Chris Greer gift?
• 18:16
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we're taking shots of Chris Greer.
• 18:18
[SPEAKER_06]: I think that was a good decision made there.
• 18:22
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, for sure.
• 18:24
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think they'll sign in.
• 18:25
[SPEAKER_04]: I think if they're going to spend any money on like one player I actually don't think would be why receiver because they took three in the draft, which is Yeah, I actually think it would be Eddrasher or someone that's back there.
• 18:36
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, someone in the second area It can be a safety corner because if you look at that second area, that is right.
• 18:41
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, look I'm hoping for the best for somebody who's fighting, but that's that's a rough group right now Well, that's what I was going to say was for me Someone in the second or an Eddrasher.
• 18:49
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah
• 18:50
[SPEAKER_06]: That those were the two position groups, and I did have receiver on the list if there was a vet to OJ's point where somebody was getting somebody was holding out for something that wasn't showing up and they decided they would take you know what I'll go not pay state taxes and
• 19:07
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, Samuel had his best year in the NFL with Bobby Sloak and San Francisco.
• 19:13
[SPEAKER_04]: I think he was like the offensive passing game coordinator there.
• 19:15
[SPEAKER_04]: That was his best year.
• 19:16
[SPEAKER_04]: He has ties to him.
• 19:18
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if you're going to want to play for a vet minimum, but if he did.
• 19:22
  [SPEAKER_04]: probably not.
• 19:23
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 19:25
  [SPEAKER_04]: What if he doubled?
• 19:26
[SPEAKER_03]: What if he doubled in that minimum?
• 19:27
[SPEAKER_03]: We play for that money?
• 19:28
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you doubled.
• 19:30
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's your point.
• 19:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: Five million dollars.
• 19:33
  [SPEAKER_03]: That minimum now, man.
• 19:34
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it was like 50 dollars in a bag of chips when I played.
• 19:41
  [SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know what we're in now.
• 19:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Just a little more than that.
• 19:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: I think there's a Gatorade, a cold Gatorade.
• 19:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Gatorade too.
• 19:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 19:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: Whoa.
• 19:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I think a year supply of Gatorade.
• 19:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Big sad thing with that.
• 19:51
[SPEAKER_04]: So 1.3 it looks like is a that minimum for anyone with more than 7 years.
• 19:56
[SPEAKER_06]: That's not so bad, that's not so bad.
• 19:59
[SPEAKER_06]: So okay, so Daniel, in me hand, it's not what you guys want.
• 20:02
[SPEAKER_06]: Sully is good with the current roster.
• 20:04
[SPEAKER_06]: I agree with you, Daniel, that Sully is good with the current roster.
• 20:07
[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm not necessarily saying we want anything either.
• 20:10
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm just saying, do they need to make another move?
• 20:13
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, somebody, I think it was uncle would run, put in here that the move is to resign.
• 20:18
[SPEAKER_06]: It's the recent brooks right like that.
• 20:20
[SPEAKER_06]: That's the one thing that's missing that that would be the big move I know you feel strongly about that juice when you Mike and I had that conversation about should they and or should they wait I mean they've held Pat so far We'll see what happens when camp starts.
• 20:34
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he'll be out there But I could see where whether it's either signing him or you know somebody needs a linebacker that caliber
• 20:44
[SPEAKER_06]: And as well in the give up some real draft capital, I could see that that potentially, when they get to camp, if they feel that these rookies are ready to play, or that they're at least ready to give them that year, and the year that you can, you know, I don't know, say mail it in, nobody's tanking here, but in a year where you have a little longer runway from your ownership, I could see them taking an offer.
• 21:06
[SPEAKER_06]: So that could be the big move is something to do with Jordan Brooks.
• 21:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and also after three linebackers.
• 21:13
[SPEAKER_03]: That's that's that's the that point right there that part right there.
• 21:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Brooks is a tough position, man, you know, I mean, I mean, when you look at your guy that did all he did though, man, and then we're going to talk a little bit about where he ranks in NFL rankings, you know, a little bit in the show.
• 21:29
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this dude, this dude was that dude last year.
• 21:32
[SPEAKER_03]: course now what do we know and you guys you guys can help me out because I don't get into all this you know I love my boy Travis with Travis can tell us and Mike can tell us you know how he fits in a half a scheme whether that you know what I mean well because you can think about it if you got a dog of a linebacker and half these are a form of defense coordinator and I'll hate coach you got a guy that fits your scheme perfectly I've helped like Jimmy Johnson Jimmy Johnson care
• 22:00
[SPEAKER_03]: This one the case here here in this team is they took care of the offensive guys first.
• 22:05
[SPEAKER_03]: No, you got a wonder, you know, when it comes to a guy like Jordan, but he's done everything right here.
• 22:11
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, he's, I mean, he's made plays and argue that pro baller.
• 22:14
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, great in a locker room, you know, team player shows up when it's, when it's in contract talks and things like that.
• 22:24
[SPEAKER_03]: What the hell's going on here.
• 22:26
[SPEAKER_03]: That's my question when it comes to it, you know, when it comes to a guy like that.
• 22:30
[SPEAKER_03]: Are they asking too much or, you know, and then he feels like his via be, you know, is being under under appreciated here in Miami still.
• 22:39
[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't even know where that even lands when it comes to a guy like Jordan Brooks.
• 22:44
[SPEAKER_03]: But I know that, you know, we talk about bringing in veterans in different positions with their young and it's too right here.
• 22:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Who better for those young three linebacks you're talking about Mike than Jordan Brooks to leave you know to me.
• 22:56
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's probably it's got it is I mean, it's got to be a numbers game.
• 23:00
  [SPEAKER_03]: And it's always.
• 23:02
[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what we said on that show what you'd probably like a month old now We said look.
• 23:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure they have a number in mind and I don't think John Eric Sullivan again It ain't Chris Greer and I think he's gonna go one set over that number at the end of the day Maybe once that but ain't going to and if To earn Brooks in his agent have their number in mind and they're not close.
• 23:25
[SPEAKER_04]: I think you know he won't get to you.
• 23:27
  [SPEAKER_04]: Now look
• 23:29
[SPEAKER_04]: I'd be shocked if they don't get something done in the next 10 to 14 days here prior to camp when everyone has to report.
• 23:35
[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's shot I'd be a little surprised If this goes into camp, I'd actually be a little surprised and but here's the deal if this goes into camp
• 23:46
[SPEAKER_04]: He ain't gonna be here long, but he'll be gone by the deadline.
• 23:50
[SPEAKER_04]: There's no way they're gonna hold on this guy.
• 23:51
[SPEAKER_04]: You just let him walk at the end of the year for nothing.
• 23:53
[SPEAKER_04]: So I think something will get done here in the next 10 to 14 days or however long it'll camp starts.
• 23:59
  [SPEAKER_04]: But,
• 24:00
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's always about the money.
• 24:02
[SPEAKER_04]: It's a he fits in any system Jordan Brooks.
• 24:05
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's been a volunteer.
• 24:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: He'll fit.
• 24:07
[SPEAKER_04]: Especially right now where he's in his prime.
• 24:09
[SPEAKER_04]: This is his probably largest payday he'll ever get.
• 24:13
  [SPEAKER_04]: And I don't blame him.
• 24:14
[SPEAKER_04]: Hold out for not cold output.
• 24:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Aim for as much money as you want.
• 24:19
[SPEAKER_04]: And I do think they will get something done here.
• 24:21
[SPEAKER_04]: Why this is take it like,
• 24:24
[SPEAKER_04]: We were talking about this back in April to draft and they started taking all these line backers.
• 24:28
[SPEAKER_04]: They might treat Jordan Brooks.
• 24:29
[SPEAKER_04]: I like two of the drafts.
• 24:29
[SPEAKER_04]: I like three of the drafts.
• 24:31
  [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
• 24:31
[SPEAKER_04]: It didn't happen, but it's got to be about the money and I do think by the end of July something will get done and if not, then all bets are off and we'll see.
• 24:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, who's going to flinch still here?
• 24:45
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 24:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Who's going to flinch?
• 24:47
[SPEAKER_03]: And it's going to be us.
• 24:48
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to be us.
• 24:49
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to be us.
• 24:50
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's going to have to be other side because somebody's got a flinch here a big set and survived.
• 24:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 24:54
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, somebody's got a flinch and, you know, when I was dealing with contract negotiations, my agent was always the bad guy, but I was really the bad bad guy.
• 25:04
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it was always me that was saying like, yo, you know, I want to be there.
• 25:08
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, my 18 doesn't think it's right, but I'm the one who's like, you know, what, what do you, what, what did they say?
• 25:13
[SPEAKER_03]: No, I'd hell with that man.
• 25:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 25:14
  [SPEAKER_03]: We're not taking that.
• 25:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 25:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, so we'll just see who French is in this situation, man.
• 25:19
[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, hopefully they get it fixed.
• 25:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully we do get something, either.
• 25:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Him as a player or him, you know, with some draft, you know, some draft capital or something like that, because Jordan Brooks is that dude, man.
• 25:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's a dog in this game.
• 25:33
[SPEAKER_06]: juice I agree with Mike by the way on I don't think it will be solid and I just think it's it's too early on their regime like they have a strategy it they don't have an attachment to these guys and so he said he was one of his foundational pieces he obviously believes in him as a player but I think he's determined that I'm going to do we saw it with the whole trade when they traded back with proctor and whole deal like
• 25:59
[SPEAKER_06]: he was going to get what he's going to get and that was it.
• 26:01
[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, you know, also big Seth, if this team was like a team there by saying that, you know, can go out there and win the win the division, win the conference.
• 26:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: That'd be different.
• 26:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that'd be different.
• 26:10
[SPEAKER_03]: And they'd be, they'd be going out yet.
• 26:12
[SPEAKER_03]: They'd go out there and make it happen.
• 26:13
[SPEAKER_03]: We got to have this guy.
• 26:14
[SPEAKER_03]: We have, but since it's a bar so load, they're like hell.
• 26:17
[SPEAKER_03]: When you're one of a bit of a man, they'll deal with the rebuild.
• 26:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
• 26:21
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly right.
• 26:21
[SPEAKER_06]: Now, we're talking about you just said he's a dog, he's that dude, all those other things that everything the right way.
• 26:26
[SPEAKER_06]: For the first time in his career, Jordan Brooks cracked the NFL's top 100, came in at what?
• 26:32
[SPEAKER_06]: Six seven, he came in, he's a player number six, he's seven.
• 26:35
[SPEAKER_06]: And so, you know, exciting for him, we know it means a lot to those guys when they make those lists.
• 26:40
[SPEAKER_06]: And it means a lot to the fans to know, hey, we've got a few guys on that list and at
• 26:44
[SPEAKER_06]: And I imagine there's 800 dudes in the league, right?
• 26:47
  [SPEAKER_03]: Something close to that.
• 26:48
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, if you do the math and carry the one, it's like 32 times, you know, let's go to 60, because that's, you know, it's easy for me to round up.
• 26:55
[SPEAKER_03]: You said it around down.
• 26:56
  [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
• 26:57
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 26:58
  [SPEAKER_03]: There's like, 1800 dudes, be 67, that's high praise, bro.
• 27:03
  [SPEAKER_06]: I agree.
• 27:04
  [SPEAKER_06]: I agree.
• 27:04
[SPEAKER_06]: So no, I mean, that's a great list to be on.
• 27:07
[SPEAKER_06]: And it's chosen by your peers.
• 27:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: Play on that.
• 27:10
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 27:11
[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that's a big reason why they like it.
• 27:14
[SPEAKER_06]: We saw how excited Tyree Kill was to be voted number one.
• 27:16
[SPEAKER_06]: That was kind of, you know, everything went downhill.
• 27:18
[SPEAKER_04]: That kind of is a big deal.
• 27:20
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:20
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:21
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:22
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:22
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:23
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:24
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a huge deal.
• 27:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, cracking that list is a huge deal, man.
• 27:27
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's a number one overall.
• 27:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think I was like 1781 or something like that.
• 27:33
[SPEAKER_06]: No, I'll come on, Jews.
• 27:34
  [SPEAKER_03]: Come on, Jews.
• 27:35
[SPEAKER_03]: I think they did, you know, I mean,
• 27:42
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I mean, how do you lead the league and this is, you'd be number eight, you're probow voting, you know, I mean, fuck you.
• 27:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's fair.
• 27:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's fair.
• 27:52
  [SPEAKER_06]: the bad bad guy.
• 27:53
[SPEAKER_06]: Ladies and gentlemen, it's the bad bad guy.
• 27:55
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, David Duffy.
• 27:56
[SPEAKER_06]: So all right, we'll see if there is one more big move.
• 27:59
[SPEAKER_06]: And we said before training camp, as we all know, a lot of times those big moves come a week or so into training camp when unfortunately that injury bug hits.
• 28:09
[SPEAKER_06]: And that's when things start to happen.
• 28:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: So that's the reality.
• 28:14
[SPEAKER_06]: The bills have a new, oh, I was reading it.
• 28:16
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll go back and look at it.
• 28:18
[SPEAKER_06]: A new coach that could be catastrophic, the Patriots have seen this situation, because a lot of them has asked her, especially, I don't think it's going to matter in there.
• 28:25
[SPEAKER_06]: And if anything, it'll bring those guys closer.
• 28:27
[SPEAKER_06]: This division is set up for Malik Willis.
• 28:29
  [SPEAKER_06]: Pete is fired up.
• 28:30
  [SPEAKER_04]: Pete, think Pete.
• 28:31
[SPEAKER_04]: Pete, I wish I thought like you.
• 28:33
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, the offense we're just we talked about it last week.
• 28:37
[SPEAKER_06]: They were voted as the worst roster in the national football league.
• 28:39
[SPEAKER_06]: Pete says they've got talent just just it's it's in their pores.
• 28:44
[SPEAKER_06]: It's seeping out of their pores.
• 28:45
  [SPEAKER_06]: There's talent everywhere.
• 28:46
  [SPEAKER_06]: Pete, I hope you're right, man.
• 28:48
[SPEAKER_06]: I hope it'll be right to it'll be it'll be interesting to see.
• 28:51
[SPEAKER_06]: 20 and oh, here we come.
• 28:52
  [SPEAKER_06]: Let's go Jordan.
• 28:53
  [SPEAKER_06]: I like it.
• 28:54
[SPEAKER_06]: But Pete said so, you know, you talk about Jeff Haffley and we're talking about Mollique Willis.
• 29:00
[SPEAKER_06]: Jeff Haffley recently was invited to throw out the opening pitch for Miami Marlins game.
• 29:07
[SPEAKER_06]: Juice, were you at the game?
• 29:08
  [SPEAKER_06]: I know you're a big Marlins fan.
• 29:09
[SPEAKER_06]: You're at a lot of these games.
• 29:11
[SPEAKER_03]: I was not at this game.
• 29:12
  [SPEAKER_03]: They actually lost.
• 29:13
[SPEAKER_03]: They got swept by my Guardians that weekend.
• 29:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I was out of town and it was, yeah, it was, I mean, it was other than the pitch.
• 29:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Everything else was garbage for my team that weekend.
• 29:24
[SPEAKER_06]: Hot garbage for sure, but that's it.
• 29:27
  [SPEAKER_06]: there was some heat.
• 29:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I, you know, and I was, I was Chad was here because Chad threw out the first pitch, you know, courtesy of the Jason Taylor Foundation and Dex imaging from Mike Goodfellow, and, you know, Chad threw it to the Billy the Marlin and Billy can't see anything.
• 29:45
[SPEAKER_03]: He had a damn thing and Chad threw a little high and flew all the way to the backstop for the most part because He passed his bill, you know, so that was a but yeah half-do that was nice, man You could you could see that he's got a little baseball any You know, that's what I wanted to ask you.
• 30:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's got a little baseball any he only that big Seth He almost went all the way to the bump most guys don't go all the way to the mound They you know that not to the pictures man.
• 30:11
[SPEAKER_03]: They go a little bit ahead of it.
• 30:12
[SPEAKER_03]: They don't want to embarrass themselves
• 30:13
[SPEAKER_03]: from the way that he's right.
• 30:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, he really close to the bump through a nice pitch.
• 30:19
[SPEAKER_03]: I like his wind up.
• 30:20
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you could tell that he's done this before, you know, after all the first pitch for the Marlins one time, and I threw a fastball.
• 30:27
  [SPEAKER_03]: It was fast.
• 30:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Some of these guys still a little change.
• 30:31
[SPEAKER_03]: It looked like a little bit of a change up because you can see the arc.
• 30:34
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Sandy, you're why Sandy, I'll come to you or start a
• 30:39
  [SPEAKER_05]: It's ball doesn't do this ever.
• 30:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Even this change up doesn't.
• 30:42
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, you know, it's all straight, straight movement.
• 30:45
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 30:46
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's all, you know, I went out there with a baseball background, big set.
• 30:49
[SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't go out there and throw some garbage up there, you know, but has, it's so, it's so crazy.
• 30:55
[SPEAKER_03]: It's, we're talking about this, because just watching it all start game the other day, you know, yesterday, you know, when President Bush had to go out there after 9-11.
• 31:03
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was a bitch.
• 31:05
[SPEAKER_03]: That was a hell of a pitch.
• 31:07
[SPEAKER_03]: People don't, a lot of people don't know this, but he had to go out.
• 31:11
[SPEAKER_03]: He was warming up in the bullpen, like underneath the throw it, but he had to throw that with a bulletproof vest on.
• 31:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
• 31:17
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 31:18
[SPEAKER_03]: And so for him to throw that pitch, that perfect, it looked like a perfect pitch, like half pitch was, man, that's, you know, that's a lot of pressure out there, man.
• 31:26
[SPEAKER_04]: And the truth is true by Geter.
• 31:28
[SPEAKER_04]: He told him, are you going to the rubber and he goes, I have to.
• 31:32
[SPEAKER_04]: He goes, and he went to the mountain.
• 31:33
[SPEAKER_04]: He's seen through it from the rubber.
• 31:34
  [SPEAKER_04]: Outstanding stuff.
• 31:35
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
• 31:36
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's what not.
• 31:37
[SPEAKER_04]: Because of what happened at the time.
• 31:38
[SPEAKER_04]: That place went absolutely crazy when he did that strike.
• 31:41
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 31:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Back to what you're saying, Big Seth, the fact that half, through such a perfect strike in the Middle East, where it's
• 31:48
[SPEAKER_04]: It might be a bad sign.
• 31:49
[SPEAKER_04]: It might be a bad sign.
• 31:50
[SPEAKER_03]: It might be a bad sign.
• 31:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's it.
• 31:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's different.
• 31:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's different.
• 31:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's different.
• 31:55
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's different.
• 31:55
[SPEAKER_03]: It's on the balls, man.
• 31:56
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's on the balls.
• 31:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what it is.
• 31:59
[SPEAKER_06]: So this is what I want.
• 32:00
[SPEAKER_06]: I have a couple of questions based on this and that's number one.
• 32:03
[SPEAKER_06]: How many head coaches in the national football league do you think would throw a better opening pitch than they're starting quarterback?
• 32:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, man, you know, he coached already.
• 32:16
[SPEAKER_04]: I got, let me call for a list of all.
• 32:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, you look at something to guys.
• 32:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Who would you look at and say they have a baseball, some type of baseball background?
• 32:27
[SPEAKER_03]: I think all these guys see, especially if they play ball, if they play ball somewhere.
• 32:31
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 32:32
[SPEAKER_03]: May they probably played all kinds of quarterback like the starting court.
• 32:36
[SPEAKER_06]: So first I'm like they to me and he was a great high school athlete and certainly great high school football player.
• 32:41
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he was player of the Gatoray player of the year and high school is senior year.
• 32:46
[SPEAKER_06]: But he ain't out throwing them out stat.
• 32:48
[SPEAKER_04]: Like I can't imagine a world, I think the hardball brothers are probably a pretty good, right, both the hardballs are probably a pretty good.
• 32:54
[SPEAKER_06]: You can go back better than Herbert or better than Lamar Jackson.
• 33:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and you go back.
• 33:01
  [SPEAKER_03]: He's coaching dark now.
• 33:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you can go back in the day.
• 33:04
[SPEAKER_03]: You can go back in the day with a lot of these quarterbacks Also got drafting and baseball the marinos the L ways those guys actually, you know, they played baseball Yeah, these dudes don't these dudes all these dudes do now is play football.
• 33:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah
• 33:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they don't play other sports.
• 33:20
[SPEAKER_03]: They might have played a little they might who all the ones we knew could Hoop.
• 33:23
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean every quarterback that we know they can play basketball, but for other sports like baseball And stuff like my just do just play football, man, and and I think that hinders their ability to go on the bump now if you know you can't throw a baseball don't take you ass out there, man when they make the phone call Be like, you know what I just want to make sure I don't throw my arm out because I got you know the false coming.
• 33:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: I got it
• 33:47
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I got training camp.
• 33:48
[SPEAKER_03]: I throw a lot of footballs in.
• 33:50
[SPEAKER_03]: If your arm is like that 50 sitting them dudes who you know me I know he ain't got a word about playing in the fall.
• 33:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't don't get out there in juice.
• 33:58
[SPEAKER_04]: That's himself fish rocket a bad one
• 34:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, unless you're trying to go viral man don't don't go out to on the bottom man and try to throw it man because it's it will it will last forever It'll always Carl Lewis in the National Anthem.
• 34:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, that's not going anywhere You tell me going on business.
• 34:20
[SPEAKER_03]: You chew bacon on business.
• 34:21
  [SPEAKER_03]: No, right?
• 34:21
[SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna be there for ever green.
• 34:23
[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be there forever ever green.
• 34:26
[SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be there forever
• 34:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Just do you think it's the nerves that get to them like obviously Malik Willis could throw a ball.
• 34:31
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you can throw a football, but I mean, do you think that like the nerves get to them in the ball gets away from them and he's You know, okay, sure I'll show up and whatever
• 34:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know, but half of it.
• 34:46
[SPEAKER_04]: I found one head coach.
• 34:47
[SPEAKER_04]: I found one head coach.
• 34:48
  [SPEAKER_04]: Why I'm positive.
• 34:50
[SPEAKER_04]: Throw a much much better strike than his starting quarterback.
• 34:55
  [SPEAKER_04]: It was a fancy.
• 34:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: Kevin's to give me.
• 34:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Give me his history might talk to me.
• 35:00
[SPEAKER_04]: I just look at the starting quarterback.
• 35:03
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I'm giving you a present.
• 35:06
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm on the quarterback.
• 35:08
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not about the coach, but the quarterback.
• 35:11
[SPEAKER_06]: I wonder if two withdraws of baseball right handed.
• 35:13
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not even trying to be funny.
• 35:14
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
• 35:16
[SPEAKER_06]: Everything else right handed except for throw football.
• 35:18
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, it would be left handed.
• 35:20
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, I don't think left handed.
• 35:21
[SPEAKER_04]: If you throw some football, I'm just going to tell you.
• 35:23
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, even like the Braun James does everything left handed.
• 35:27
[SPEAKER_03]: I probably throw a baseball right handed.
• 35:29
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, that's a whole different, whole different animal, man.
• 35:33
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
• 35:34
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
• 35:34
  [SPEAKER_06]: It's a weird deal.
• 35:35
[SPEAKER_03]: I think what you throw a strike makes sense or what do you do?
• 35:39
  [SPEAKER_06]: I think I would.
• 35:40
[SPEAKER_06]: I told you it's the one thing I can do athletically as I can throw a ball, but you know, I would definitely get a whole lot of warm-ups in, but I can't tell you that I wouldn't get out there on the mound in that beautiful stadium and maybe, you know, wet myself a little bit in the ball, you know, I could see that happening.
• 35:57
[SPEAKER_06]: But I have the ability
• 35:59
  [SPEAKER_03]: to do it.
• 36:00
  [SPEAKER_03]: I did.
• 36:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, what I would do, man, what I would do is like, man, you know what, it's always been a dream for me to, you know, play cash with my auto Lopez or one of the other players on the team just to get that arm warmed up.
• 36:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Because a lot of these dudes come in cold, they're taking all these pictures and stuff, they haven't thrown a baseball, you know, since, you know, they were warming up, like, I think tab warmed up with like three or four days with his buddy.
• 36:21
[SPEAKER_06]: Anyway, you know, all the stuff.
• 36:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Right, right over here, you know, we have video week before.
• 36:28
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, getting off 60 feet, six inches in his backyard, it's going to go and now have I ever told you guys the story of when Zach Thomas was this is when he was playing and he was invited to do the free throw thing at the front of my me, you know, he had court side seats and they told me and he said, hey, we're going down to the game, where can I go shoot some free throws like what are you talking about?
• 36:50
[SPEAKER_06]: And I said, what game?
• 36:51
  [SPEAKER_06]: Because tonight's game.
• 36:53
[SPEAKER_06]: And this was like two hours before he was heading down.
• 36:55
[SPEAKER_06]: And so I sent him the DCA park and sunrise, I think.
• 36:59
[SPEAKER_06]: And it was not DCA now.
• 37:00
[SPEAKER_06]: It's whatever sunrise sports, I'd like to send it.
• 37:02
[SPEAKER_06]: And he went down there and shot free throws for 30 minutes.
• 37:07
[SPEAKER_06]: And you know, you talk about the old, he's like, I'm not going out there and embarrass him.
• 37:10
  [SPEAKER_06]: I said, I don't blame him.
• 37:11
[SPEAKER_06]: So he shot free throws for 30 minutes before he went out to the game.
• 37:15
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's Zach Thomas.
• 37:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and the thing about that, too, is just don't, just don't airball in me.
• 37:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
• 37:21
  [SPEAKER_03]: just don't airball it.
• 37:23
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 37:24
[SPEAKER_03]: So just get it, get it on the front of the rim, get it on the back of the rim, even bacon in if you have to, just don't airball it, man.
• 37:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 37:33
[SPEAKER_06]: So juice, this is my second question that I have then.
• 37:36
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, you talked about how you had to, you, you had to fire that thing in there.
• 37:40
[SPEAKER_06]: We saw half fired in there.
• 37:42
[SPEAKER_06]: We saw what Malik Willis did.
• 37:44
[SPEAKER_06]: Tom Brady even had an air throw, I think, and you know, so like of all people.
• 37:48
[SPEAKER_06]: But we saw, um, uh, Fernando Madosa.
• 37:54
[SPEAKER_06]: just throw a little moon ball in there.
• 37:57
[SPEAKER_06]: Is it better to do that and get it over the plate and have it land where it's supposed to?
• 38:02
[SPEAKER_06]: Or is it better to do that and have a couple people chuckle or to try to fire it in there and end up with the milk will as well think?
• 38:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, Fernando is probably, he's a really smart guy.
• 38:14
[SPEAKER_03]: He's probably protecting his wing.
• 38:16
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, make sure he doesn't put it out, trying to throw that light ass ball.
• 38:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Because you see me big assessment
• 38:24
[SPEAKER_03]: I threw my arm out, and next thing you know, I couldn't throw for another, you know, I still can't throw, thanks to, you know, the whiff blast because I was trying to bring that thing, you know what I mean, but right next year I'll be able to throw it again, you know, it's going to take me about seven, eight months to, you know, to rehab and be writing, no, that, no, I'm just playing about that part, but I think it's better just to get over the plate.
• 38:45
[SPEAKER_03]: make it a catchable ball, you know, just like don't, you know, don't, don't hit them.
• 38:51
[SPEAKER_03]: The mask got left the right.
• 38:52
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 38:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: Don't be don't be Ricky Vaughn.
• 38:55
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 38:56
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 38:57
[SPEAKER_03]: If you think Ricky Vaughn's out there, you know, and that don't be that bad.
• 39:01
[SPEAKER_03]: And just don't try to show off.
• 39:03
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't have to go get in the car.
• 39:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Nick has been clearing the hell off them.
• 39:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Get the hell off the field, you know what I mean?
• 39:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I think that's a better idea.
• 39:11
  [SPEAKER_06]: I agree.
• 39:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, Jeff Hathley is continuing to make fans here in South Florida, and that pitch was one more example.
• 39:18
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, we had unfair shots here at Chris Greer, Mike McDaniel, I don't know that Mike McDaniel would have been throwing the ball the way Jeff Hathley did.
• 39:27
[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm going to give him some credit there.
• 39:29
[SPEAKER_06]: He definitely put that thing.
• 39:30
  [SPEAKER_06]: Mike.
• 39:31
[SPEAKER_04]: Probably want to get the pitch off in time.
• 39:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Probably want to get a pitch of luck.
• 39:33
  [SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
• 39:33
  [SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
• 39:34
  [SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
• 39:34
  [SPEAKER_06]: They're called a ball.
• 39:36
  [SPEAKER_06]: And they're called a ball on a ceremony.
• 39:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, they would have done it.
• 39:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: Ball one right away.
• 39:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Get it on the right.
• 39:45
[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of low hanging fruit with that group.
• 39:47
[SPEAKER_04]: If people wonder why they got fired, that's a great point.
• 39:51
[SPEAKER_06]: That is a great point.
• 39:53
[SPEAKER_06]: So, all right, what else do we have?
• 39:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: Pro-Fop-Fop-Fop-Fop-Fop-Fop-Fop-Fop.
• 39:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't really even mess with pro football, Focally.
• 39:57
[SPEAKER_05]: So you go right away.
• 39:59
[SPEAKER_06]: The Bradley Walker said that the Von H. and he was on a list of 10 players that could become a first time all pro this season.
• 40:05
[SPEAKER_06]: So does that seem like a shocking prediction?
• 40:08
[SPEAKER_06]: Is he really going out on a limb there?
• 40:11
[SPEAKER_06]: I think we all believe in...
• 40:12
[SPEAKER_04]: He's our offense, who else we got?
• 40:14
[SPEAKER_04]: He's throwing tools, they're gonna run it with him.
• 40:15
[SPEAKER_04]: He could get a lot of work this year.
• 40:17
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he's proven that he's fiercely talented.
• 40:19
[SPEAKER_06]: He is now a lot of times in juice.
• 40:22
[SPEAKER_06]: It was especially this way.
• 40:23
[SPEAKER_06]: And you suffered from it, what you talked about earlier, you saw a lot of guys make the Pro Bowl a year after they should have, not that they shouldn't have the year they made it.
• 40:33
[SPEAKER_06]: But they should have made it one year earlier.
• 40:35
[SPEAKER_06]: But they kind of hadn't become
• 40:38
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, one of those names even amongst the players and I think he's passed all that.
• 40:42
[SPEAKER_06]: He's on the map people know who he is There are aware of him.
• 40:44
[SPEAKER_06]: He's now been paid and everything else.
• 40:47
[SPEAKER_06]: So The fact the entire offense is going to run through a mic as you just said or you would expect it to It's really good chance.
• 40:54
[SPEAKER_06]: He can have an all-proceed.
• 40:55
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's a top-wide receiver.
• 40:56
  [SPEAKER_04]: Let's just be honest.
• 40:57
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's our best-wide receiver.
• 40:58
[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to throw him the ball-ton Right or wrong.
• 41:01
[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to throw him the ball-ton
• 41:03
[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, I think he'll run for like 1200 yards.
• 41:05
  [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe a little more.
• 41:06
  [SPEAKER_04]: He'll probably 70-75 passes.
• 41:09
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's going to get a lot of opportunities.
• 41:12
[SPEAKER_04]: I think he'll run back if you're talking all pro.
• 41:14
[SPEAKER_04]: Now, talking pro will all pro.
• 41:17
  [SPEAKER_06]: All pro wins.
• 41:17
  [SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of competition.
• 41:19
[SPEAKER_04]: You got Robinson with Atlanta.
• 41:21
  [SPEAKER_04]: You got Sake Juan.
• 41:22
[SPEAKER_04]: You got with the lines there Gibbs.
• 41:25
  [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's a lot of
• 41:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, you know what they need to stop trying to make him a wire receiver.
• 41:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and I think that's going to happen this year, where they're not going to make him excited.
• 41:41
[SPEAKER_03]: We don't have anybody, honestly.
• 41:43
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, then my man, Luke Washington, really that's a guy.
• 41:46
[SPEAKER_03]: I do like two to that well.
• 41:48
  [SPEAKER_03]: Guys like that.
• 41:49
[SPEAKER_03]: But stop putting the vine out there as a flanked Y receiver, you know, if you want to throw him screens, you want throwing flares, you want to do things like that.
• 41:57
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's one thing.
• 41:58
[SPEAKER_03]: But for him, I think no matter what, he's going to be, his touch totals got to get 25.
• 42:04
[SPEAKER_03]: If he gets a 25 touches again, our touches.
• 42:08
[SPEAKER_03]: He'll be, he will be all pro because he's that dynamic and I think they'll divide some schemes and so it can those guys have some schemes where he'll be able to get going.
• 42:18
[SPEAKER_03]: But also he's his running game is going to be better than I think it's been I think it's often to line as the best on paper that we've seen him have on paper for us in terms of I think that's the best group of guys in front of him that he's seen.
• 42:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: Great.
• 42:33
[SPEAKER_03]: You look at that left side all if Austin's you know if Austin's healthy if the Vi and I is happy on the right side that we're hoping to use that offensive line I would love to run behind that line I'd love to hide behind that left side.
• 42:46
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, with with all, you know, and proctor, I've loved the hide that and we know Eric Brewer, you know, happy off the new deals, going to be that dude that hopefully that he's always been.
• 42:56
[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be an opportunity for him to go out there and stack up.
• 43:00
[SPEAKER_03]: He could be a rushing leader this year.
• 43:02
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and then you know, once he gets to the next level, second level, you know, it's a tough deal for teams.
• 43:07
[SPEAKER_03]: The biggest third level, it's over for team over, you know what I mean?
• 43:10
[SPEAKER_03]: So don't let him be to the third level.
• 43:12
[SPEAKER_03]: If these guys can keep him clean, kind of like the Dallas Cowboys, you know, I'm, you know, I'm not killing him as Smith.
• 43:18
[SPEAKER_03]: And though he's a gator, big sad.
• 43:20
  [SPEAKER_03]: everything.
• 43:21
[SPEAKER_03]: It touched to the second level a lot of times.
• 43:23
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 43:24
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and that's how he compiled his line was so good.
• 43:27
[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't get touched to the second level.
• 43:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, the only problem with that's going to have with HN is that the fact that we don't have that that virus, he represents the keep guys from stacking the box.
• 43:38
[SPEAKER_03]: you know, where Emmett had, you know, Harper and he had Michael Irvin, you know, he had Nova check, those guys really couldn't stack the box because Troy could pick up a part, Troy could go 20 for 22, you know, and those guys got decent numbers that way and it looked.
• 43:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Emmett knows all those guys on the whole thing.
• 43:55
[SPEAKER_03]: So we've got to have some receivers to help out a running back like HN where as you can't just stack the box against him.
• 44:02
[SPEAKER_03]: So we've got to have somebody emerge that way.
• 44:05
[SPEAKER_03]: If that's the case and the vong is 25 touches, he could be so dynamic.
• 44:10
[SPEAKER_03]: He could be so hard to deal with.
• 44:12
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, we know that Mike McDaniel was a mastermind when it came to design and plays.
• 44:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, we don't know what the game plans going to be offensively or how we're going to handle offensive, you know, game plan and play calling.
• 44:24
[SPEAKER_03]: But I think that no matter what, if we give the bond 25 touches and make it creative, don't be predictable.
• 44:30
[SPEAKER_03]: I think he can be that guy we're talking about, man.
• 44:33
[SPEAKER_03]: And he's going to have to be this year until we can reload on the outside or find out on the outside, which one of these young guns can be that other dog out there in football field.
• 44:44
[SPEAKER_06]: There you go, that's a good one right there.
• 44:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Clip that, Michael Liva, I thought you didn't qualify for guaranteed there from O.J.
• 44:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying, I'm not saying I'm not guaranteed.
• 44:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm hoping for.
• 44:55
[SPEAKER_06]: Garen, if you get that 25 touches, they'll have the production and you know, and that's it.
• 45:00
  [SPEAKER_06]: In all pro.
• 45:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Right, and and these are going well if he's getting 25 touches.
• 45:05
[SPEAKER_03]: These are going really well for the football team if he's getting 25.
• 45:08
[SPEAKER_06]: That's a great point because if you're getting blown out, then you need to take his ass out.
• 45:13
[SPEAKER_06]: All those different things live right or or board right.
• 45:16
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, pound that thing.
• 45:17
[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, that makes a lot of sense.
• 45:18
[SPEAKER_06]: Or you're trying to play catch up ball.
• 45:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: So that's for sure.
• 45:22
[SPEAKER_06]: That makes a lot of sense.
• 45:24
  [SPEAKER_06]: Let's see, what's the last thing?
• 45:25
[SPEAKER_06]: Because the vodka, the heck of a job puttin' some of the stuff together here.
• 45:27
[SPEAKER_06]: Zach Sealer says he wants to retire a Miami Dolphin with 2026.
• 45:31
[SPEAKER_06]: We'll decide that story by our guy, Antoine Staley.
• 45:35
  [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't see the story.
• 45:36
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, we all love Zach Sealer, but Hatt, Agent Money.
• 45:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, how's he gonna, he wants to retire a Dolphin, but at what cost?
• 45:44
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because I'm going to call it up now.
• 45:46
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
• 45:46
[SPEAKER_06]: He's not going back to the RV.
• 45:47
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know his contract next year jumps significantly.
• 45:52
[SPEAKER_04]: 2020 so this year, his cap number is 11 for next year.
• 45:57
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's 20.7.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
• 45:59
  [SPEAKER_04]: No guaranteed money.
• 46:00
[SPEAKER_04]: You know that makes him a prime trade candidate.
• 46:03
  [SPEAKER_04]: Come to deadline.
• 46:04
  [SPEAKER_04]: That makes Acceler.
• 46:06
[SPEAKER_04]: This is in him to a contender of a team that might be close.
• 46:09
  [SPEAKER_04]: If my
• 46:13
[SPEAKER_04]: many people think they're going to have and they're going to be trying to move parts of the deadline.
• 46:18
[SPEAKER_04]: He'd probably be at the top of the list because, you know, he's very good.
• 46:21
[SPEAKER_04]: Last year, he was still good, but not having someone opposite him like he's having as with Wilkins and such it was a little different.
• 46:29
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry, those young guys.
• 46:30
  [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
• 46:31
[SPEAKER_04]: If you put him in a time of right team, that dude is a beast and I think, you know, prime candidate, late October, they might be sending him somewhere because I do not see them.
• 46:41
[SPEAKER_04]: Paint with all the young guys they have in that line grant Jordan Phillips and some others Look he's on the wrong side of 30 making a lot of money.
• 46:53
[SPEAKER_04]: That's not where this team is at right now It's all youth and trying to get these young players to where they need to be on the rookie contracts.
• 47:01
[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I just see him as a prime trade candidate Come on
• 47:04
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't even think it's a right now thing.
• 47:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I think philosophically, John Erickson.
• 47:08
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's where they are.
• 47:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's all the time.
• 47:10
  [SPEAKER_06]: All the time.
• 47:11
  [SPEAKER_06]: All the time.
• 47:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 47:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: All the time.
• 47:13
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd rather trade a guy a year or two early than a year to late.
• 47:17
[SPEAKER_06]: And it seems like we're getting something similar there from John Erickson.
• 47:20
  [SPEAKER_06]: Sullivan.
• 47:21
  [SPEAKER_06]: So we'd love that.
• 47:23
[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe he retired at the end of this year.
• 47:25
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
• 47:25
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he's got a little too much ball to much money left there on the contract.
• 47:28
  [SPEAKER_06]: But I'm with you.
• 47:30
[SPEAKER_06]: I just don't I don't I don't see him last thing here for another year Jews, but and if those young guys from last year develop into players that this regime feels good about that makes him even more expendable.
• 47:44
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we know me.
• 47:46
[SPEAKER_03]: This guy's saying one of the retirees of Miami, Dolphin doesn't mean you had to play your last years.
• 47:51
[SPEAKER_03]: What's going on with that?
• 47:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: Good point.
• 47:56
[SPEAKER_03]: My god, it goes somewhere else for a year or two and then come back and I want to win off.
• 48:01
  [SPEAKER_03]: I want that jacket.
• 48:02
[SPEAKER_03]: I want that you know that awkward.
• 48:03
[SPEAKER_06]: You think he was being that savvy when he said that?
• 48:05
  [SPEAKER_06]: He could be.
• 48:06
  [SPEAKER_06]: No, no man.
• 48:08
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
• 48:10
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he was thinking about that short trip to that preserve that he has.
• 48:13
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
• 48:14
  [SPEAKER_06]: I'm 27th.
• 48:15
[SPEAKER_06]: That's probably what he was thinking about.
• 48:17
[SPEAKER_06]: But gentlemen, it's about that time for.
• 48:21
[SPEAKER_06]: One of our favorite segments here, it's not the not-for-nothing segment that Savak I think just introduced in the chat, but it's the I tried to tell y'all segment And there's no way to kick it off other than for O.J.
• 48:32
[SPEAKER_06]: McDuffie to make an happen.
• 48:33
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's go man.
• 48:34
[SPEAKER_03]: You know here we go.
• 48:35
[SPEAKER_03]: I you know, I tried to tell y'all that this Miami Dolphins team could be better this season than most think They can be good, but not great.
• 48:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Not just yet
• 48:47
[SPEAKER_03]: This is year zero of the rebuild and expectations are in the basement as we all know some publications have been ranked with the worst project is starting roster and NFL sitting at the bottom of the power rank is entirely for the lowest win total in the league.
• 49:03
[SPEAKER_03]: But what's how this team is being built?
• 49:05
[SPEAKER_03]: They're investing in the trenches on both sides of the ball and that's what went the winning formula of football is all about.
• 49:11
  [SPEAKER_03]: And that lasts.
• 49:12
[SPEAKER_03]: You went in the trenches, you can troll our scrimmage, you wear a team's down, and you give your skill players a chance to shine.
• 49:20
[SPEAKER_03]: That foundation doesn't show up and flashy highlight reals right away, but it shows up and wins when it matters.
• 49:29
[SPEAKER_03]: When the offensive line, you've got guys like we talked about Patrick Paul left tackle once in Austin, Jack and Jackson at right tackle, Andrew et cetera, join us a via and now you're hopefully in the position that we love and to be, or he might love to be in the right guard position.
• 49:43
[SPEAKER_03]: And the addition of Katie Proctor, you know, on the on the left side, ready to anchor the interior and protect the new quarterback, you know, while opening up holes for the for Devon each end.
• 49:54
[SPEAKER_03]: On the defensive side, you know, Zack Sealer, we just talked about Kind of Grant holding down the interior with Jordan Phillips and Zeke Bigger's and Estrest, like hopefully Chop Robinson brings the heat like we thought it could be when he was the first Brown draft big from Penn State University.
• 50:11
[SPEAKER_03]: These are unsung heroes who make everything else work.
• 50:14
[SPEAKER_03]: The current over under own wins, I think it's critical for our own market at 4.5.
• 50:21
[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of folks are pounding under right now.
• 50:25
[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to double that.
• 50:26
[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to double that total and then some.
• 50:30
[SPEAKER_03]: This young squad has talent like the aforementioned.
• 50:34
  [SPEAKER_03]: except for a miss.
• 50:38
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a big word that we talked about.
• 50:42
[SPEAKER_03]: If he hasn't already done so, which I think he had, we have a mobile quarterback in Malik Willis who can make plays and
• 50:49
[SPEAKER_03]: play in increment weather, IE, the ASEase.
• 50:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Plus, pieces on both lines that could surprise the people.
• 50:57
[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're going to surprise the two people.
• 50:59
[SPEAKER_03]: So Miami-Dolphin fans, stay patient like I said before, but stay loud.
• 51:04
[SPEAKER_03]: This is the surprise team of the upcoming season.
• 51:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: The rebuild is real.
• 51:09
  [SPEAKER_03]: The process is underway.
• 51:11
[SPEAKER_03]: And when the wind starts stacking up, more than expected,
• 51:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm talking about.
• 51:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, real quick before I get out here, big set, big shout out to the Stom family.
• 51:22
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the Spriller, I'm from the Updemic Duffy family.
• 51:24
[SPEAKER_03]: As we had New Orleans for the weekend for 18th family reunion, not every other year.
• 51:31
[SPEAKER_03]: So we've been doing this as 1992.
• 51:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Last year was an LA and we've been doing big things.
• 51:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Just like the Miami Dolphins, you're going to be doing big.
• 51:40
[SPEAKER_03]: building bridges and bridging gaps as you know, big set.
• 51:44
[SPEAKER_03]: One trench at a time.
• 51:46
  [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go, friends.
• 51:48
[SPEAKER_03]: I try to tell you.
• 51:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
• 51:51
[SPEAKER_03]: So first of all, well done fabulous.
• 51:53
  [SPEAKER_06]: Very good.
• 51:53
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 51:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: But if you say,
• 51:57
[SPEAKER_06]: That the dolphins are going to double and then double double I did not start to her is this a 10-win prediction Double and then some half in nine and then when a playoff game you return there you go
• 52:21
  [SPEAKER_04]: is.
• 52:22
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh Jay is from our chat tonight.
• 52:27
  [SPEAKER_06]: I was going to say I think that there's there's a burner account.
• 52:30
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 52:32
[SPEAKER_03]: It's my clip that my clip that for me survived clip that right here.
• 52:37
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, look, you didn't want to come back.
• 52:38
  [SPEAKER_03]: Me and sees it.
• 52:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, not me and see it.
• 52:40
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'll save it.
• 52:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but nice to see you.
• 52:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: Hold her.
• 52:43
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll sign off the top.
• 52:45
[SPEAKER_06]: You might be like an
• 52:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Right, that's what I'll come with you in this part.
• 52:50
[SPEAKER_04]: Now you know, then let's lose the rest of the game.
• 52:52
[SPEAKER_06]: Man, oh, well, let's not do that.
• 52:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: Man, oh, man.
• 52:55
[SPEAKER_06]: So, Savak, are you in on this today?
• 52:58
  [SPEAKER_02]: Actually, yes.
• 52:59
[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's been a month since I've been kind of crazy, but I'm actually gonna, it seems like I'm gonna be coming from the same vein as Juice.
• 53:08
[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, I couldn't not use this thing's take time.
• 53:14
[SPEAKER_02]: That's probably not what Dolphin fans want to hear after the last few years, but it's still true.
• 53:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Miami may not be great today.
• 53:22
[SPEAKER_02]: There are so many new faces on the roster, the equipment staff is probably still asking guys for ID.
• 53:27
[SPEAKER_02]: The highest paid dolphins this year won't even be playing for the dolphins.
• 53:32
[SPEAKER_02]: The national media only seems to remember Miami when it's time to talk about deadcap, and the power rankings have a sit-in at 32.
• 53:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, at least we made the list, and you know what?
• 53:45
[SPEAKER_02]: They managed to deal with those pesky playoff expectations by...
• 53:50
[SPEAKER_02]: eliminating them all together, and believe it or not, that might be the healthiest thing that's happened to this franchise in years, because what we're watching isn't a reload.
• 54:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a rebuild.
• 54:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Now the other night, I watched, well re-watched, Independence Day.
• 54:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: Remember that movie?
• 54:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Everything gets levelled, cities are gone, landmarks are gone, humanity gets knocked flat on its ass.
• 54:14
[SPEAKER_02]: That's where the dolphins were.
• 54:16
[SPEAKER_02]: The roster that everybody thought was going to compete.
• 54:19
  [SPEAKER_02]: The stars gone.
• 54:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: The cap space gone.
• 54:23
[SPEAKER_02]: The draft capital it took to building.
• 54:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: gone.
• 54:27
  [SPEAKER_02]: It was Independence Day.
• 54:28
[SPEAKER_02]: The mothership showed up and Miami got smoked.
• 54:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Now here's where I tried to tell you.
• 54:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I said back in 2023 that if that roster, if that collection of talent, with that head coach couldn't make a serious run, then the organization needed to start thinking about the future while those stars still had value.
• 54:48
[SPEAKER_02]: People thought I was crazy.
• 54:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Then 2024 happened,
• 54:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Now I'm not saying that because I enjoy being right, I do enjoy being right, but I'm saying it because this outcome wasn't some shocking twist.
• 55:05
[SPEAKER_02]: It was predictable, but here's the good news.
• 55:08
[SPEAKER_02]: After Independence Day comes Pacific Rim, different movie, different problem, same-less, one of the very first lines.
• 55:18
[SPEAKER_00]: In order to fight monsters, we created monsters of our own.
• 55:23
[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what I hope Jeff Haffley and John Eric Sullivan are doing.
• 55:28
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not trying to slap another coat of paint on the old house.
• 55:31
[SPEAKER_02]: They're pouring a new foundation, building something that lasts, building something that doesn't fall apart the minute adversity shows up.
• 55:39
[SPEAKER_02]: And here's the part everybody forgets about Pacific Rim.
• 55:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Idris Elba's character is dying because humanity rushed the first generation of
• 55:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Sound familiar?
• 55:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Miami has rushed this process before.
• 55:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: We got impatient.
• 55:56
  [SPEAKER_02]: We chased shortcuts.
• 55:57
[SPEAKER_02]: We convinced ourselves that one splashy offseason could replace years of patient roster building.
• 56:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: It couldn't.
• 56:04
[SPEAKER_02]: So don't make that mistake again.
• 56:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: Don't rush this.
• 56:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Eat the dead cap, develop the young guys, find out who can actually play.
• 56:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Build the culture, build the roster, build the monster.
• 56:19
[SPEAKER_02]: because if independence day was the destruction, then Pacific Rim is the great reconstruction, and great things take time.
• 56:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I tried to tell you.
• 56:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: Where did everybody go?
• 56:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow, there it is.
• 56:40
[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, we lost our career alone.
• 56:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I'm here to, yeah, I'm seeing myself there.
• 56:45
  [SPEAKER_06]: There it is.
• 56:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Very nicely done, very nicely done.
• 56:49
[SPEAKER_06]: And it looks like it happened, you know, right here, did you do it just before you didn't put that together, right?
• 56:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: For a showtime.
• 56:55
[SPEAKER_06]: You just made sure you dress the same.
• 56:56
  [SPEAKER_06]: I like it.
• 56:57
  [SPEAKER_06]: I like it, it's right.
• 56:58
  [SPEAKER_06]: Very nice, juices muted.
• 57:00
[SPEAKER_06]: We got to get hold on juice.
• 57:03
  [SPEAKER_06]: I got you.
• 57:03
  [SPEAKER_03]: Damn.
• 57:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Let me in the game coach, you're in.
• 57:10
  [SPEAKER_03]: Go on.
• 57:11
[SPEAKER_06]: Time to silence that man because he predicted line wins.
• 57:13
  [SPEAKER_06]: Come on.
• 57:14
[SPEAKER_03]: I was about to light when you was talking about now.
• 57:16
  [SPEAKER_03]: I can't stand it.
• 57:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, how can you not stand it?
• 57:20
[SPEAKER_02]: You basically set the same thing.
• 57:22
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
• 57:23
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I didn't know about it.
• 57:24
  [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know about it.
• 57:25
  [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't know about it.
• 57:26
[SPEAKER_03]: I just took me, I should have went last.
• 57:29
[SPEAKER_03]: I said, I should have not even done mine today.
• 57:32
  [SPEAKER_03]: Great.
• 57:33
  [SPEAKER_06]: That was really good.
• 57:34
[SPEAKER_06]: It was very well produced.
• 57:36
[SPEAKER_06]: Pete is on fire in the chat or juices on fire.
• 57:38
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know which of his juice or Pete is iron horn is, but you know, how about guys, I'm going to go ahead and just, we didn't even confer on this.
• 57:48
[SPEAKER_06]: Pete now is predicting a 5-0 start and then trading for a star player like Pook in the Kua or Penae's pool during the by-week.
• 57:56
[SPEAKER_06]: If the dolphins get to five or no feet, I'm inviting you to come on the show here with us, and you're going to have an eye try to tell you all segment.
• 58:03
[SPEAKER_04]: You take the full hour.
• 58:05
  [SPEAKER_06]: That's it.
• 58:06
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly right.
• 58:07
[SPEAKER_03]: We're offering that up right here.
• 58:09
[SPEAKER_03]: We're a quick before we get to the
• 58:17
  [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care,
• 58:44
[SPEAKER_03]: We've got to, we've got to stop the season down the road in four or five years when they come up to tell us where I don't do the damn, right?
• 58:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't get damn.
• 58:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
• 58:52
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 58:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
• 58:54
[SPEAKER_06]: So, now, traditionally, I know I go last year, but Michael Leaver has been on such a than I tried to tell y'all running, and I'm not following Michael Leaver this time.
• 59:06
[SPEAKER_06]: I am definitely not doing that, but what I will say is that I tried to tell y'all that
• 59:14
  [SPEAKER_06]: training camp.
• 59:15
[SPEAKER_06]: And before I get too far ahead of myself, allow me to clarify that I fully recognized the necessity of training camp, and actually much like my out-to-pastor brethren, I don't think today's players or coaches get in enough work to properly prepare for the start of a season thanks to a whole lot of collective bargaining.
• 59:35
[SPEAKER_06]: So this is not a training camp
• 59:43
[SPEAKER_06]: When the dolphins released for training camp schedule last week, I can only imagine the toilet took on expedient.com as Finn's fans prepared to flock the Florida with the belief that they simply cannot miss the official start to the halfliera.
• 59:56
[SPEAKER_06]: Hope springs eternal each and every NFL summer and to many training camp symbolizes that football is back, but gentlemen,
• 1:00:06
[SPEAKER_06]: We're talking about practice, and that's the reality of training camp.
• 1:00:10
[SPEAKER_06]: For decades, we were talking about a grueling physical practice, but it was still just practice.
• 1:00:17
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, this would be the closest thing that we've seen in the real football since the new regime took over.
• 1:00:21
  [SPEAKER_06]: Sure, it will be.
• 1:00:22
  [SPEAKER_06]: but it's still practice.
• 1:00:24
[SPEAKER_06]: And yet, we always want to analyze and over-analyze every frickin' snap.
• 1:00:30
[SPEAKER_06]: Crowds are gonna erupt when receiver wins a one-on-one route.
• 1:00:33
[SPEAKER_06]: Even though there's no safety help over the top juice, there's no pass rush to disrupt the quarterback, but let's all get excited about how that receiver look on that play.
• 1:00:42
[SPEAKER_06]: Perk Omar how happened they're all going to be taken role each and every day Barry Jackson's going to be asking about injuries before you know happily even gets to sip the water or say hello at the beginning of the press conference and while all of us are at home each night
• 1:00:57
[SPEAKER_06]: tweeting like we're in the oval office ourselves.
• 1:01:00
[SPEAKER_06]: The players and coaches and staff will be at work from sun up to sundown, working ridiculous hours.
• 1:01:07
[SPEAKER_06]: Unreasonable conditions and have no days off.
• 1:01:10
  [SPEAKER_06]: And guess what, guys?
• 1:01:12
  [SPEAKER_06]: It sucks.
• 1:01:13
[SPEAKER_06]: Is there bonding that happen?
• 1:01:15
  [SPEAKER_06]: Sure.
• 1:01:15
[SPEAKER_06]: Are there great stories to tell a decade later?
• 1:01:18
  [SPEAKER_06]: Of course there are.
• 1:01:19
[SPEAKER_06]: Who doesn't like the Ben Kelly falling out of the trees at rolling hills?
• 1:01:32
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, everybody loves those stories, but ask a trainer about 11 p.m. night treatments.
• 1:01:37
[SPEAKER_06]: Ask an equipment manager about having to do laundry and get it ready for 150 people morning after morning.
• 1:01:45
[SPEAKER_06]: Ask any of us who served under Harvey Green and had to be wearing long pants
• 1:01:55
[SPEAKER_06]: Have I told you that I hate training camp more than anything I hate training camp because it's not the regular season I get the training camp breaks the all season and then preseason breaks training camp and it sees landmarks that get fans excited and they scratched that edge but don't let them fool you training camp
• 1:02:13
  [SPEAKER_06]: sucks.
• 1:02:14
[SPEAKER_06]: Sure, joint practices are kind of fun.
• 1:02:17
[SPEAKER_06]: We're only getting one practice per opponent this year with the Giants and the Commanders and the one we all want, the Atlanta Vilo of Falcons, it isn't even happening, preseason ball is even worse.
• 1:02:28
[SPEAKER_06]: just don't tell Travis Wingfield that I said no.
• 1:02:31
[SPEAKER_06]: So go ahead and get fired up.
• 1:02:33
[SPEAKER_06]: Plan your days off for work, soak in every moment of every practice that you attend, it is certainly your right to do so.
• 1:02:40
[SPEAKER_06]: Having said that, it's about time that we all understand, training camp is a necessary evil.
• 1:02:46
[SPEAKER_06]: but it sucks, and I hate it.
• 1:02:49
[SPEAKER_06]: I try to tell you all.
• 1:02:50
[SPEAKER_04]: I love that, Seth, because I couldn't not agree more.
• 1:02:53
[SPEAKER_04]: I think, look, if you're on the team, it matters if you're a young player trying to win a spot, it matters trying to win a starting roll.
• 1:03:02
[SPEAKER_04]: It matters why, and I know I'm gonna get a lot of blowback for this, I don't care, though.
• 1:03:06
[SPEAKER_04]: If you're a local fan and you want to go there, it's free.
• 1:03:08
  [SPEAKER_04]: Go for it.
• 1:03:09
  [SPEAKER_04]: Why?
• 1:03:09
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to fly down to Florida.
• 1:03:11
[SPEAKER_04]: Watch a training camp practice.
• 1:03:13
  [SPEAKER_04]: Gotta have your head.
• 1:03:14
  [SPEAKER_04]: Nothing happens.
• 1:03:15
  [SPEAKER_04]: Like nothing happens.
• 1:03:17
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's watching.
• 1:03:18
[SPEAKER_04]: You watch a bunch of guys stretch.
• 1:03:20
[SPEAKER_04]: Then they run some drills.
• 1:03:22
  [SPEAKER_04]: Then it's over.
• 1:03:23
[SPEAKER_04]: If you're going to fly down, fly down, go for a game.
• 1:03:27
[SPEAKER_04]: The practice, I just don't get it, but that's me.
• 1:03:30
[SPEAKER_04]: And I know I'll get a ton on negative feedback for this now.
• 1:03:33
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, it's a hundred degrees in August.
• 1:03:36
[SPEAKER_04]: Just fly through your shirt.
• 1:03:37
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's practice.
• 1:03:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's that I love the part about the the one-on-ones because I remember, you know, then like ripping our secondary part and one-on-ones and then I hear Sam Menace say, you ain't got that much time, dude.
• 1:03:54
  [SPEAKER_03]: Got to me.
• 1:03:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're absolutely right, man.
• 1:03:59
[SPEAKER_03]: But we love it and you know what?
• 1:04:01
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna tell you that crowd goes crazy.
• 1:04:04
[SPEAKER_03]: My first practice in St. Thomas was, you know, a friend of those guys and wouldn't know what I want was huge for us.
• 1:04:11
  [SPEAKER_06]: For sure.
• 1:04:12
[SPEAKER_03]: because the crowd went crazy.
• 1:04:14
[SPEAKER_03]: So don't underestimate how it felt for us big sad because you were on the right in a polo and sweatin' you whatever else.
• 1:04:23
  [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't mind the polo.
• 1:04:24
[SPEAKER_06]: I remember them doctors I had to wait.
• 1:04:27
[SPEAKER_04]: I got the last time the crowd won crazy a training camp.
• 1:04:31
  [SPEAKER_04]: Watch this.
• 1:04:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, what the hell are you gonna do?
• 1:04:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that's dirty.
• 1:04:43
[SPEAKER_04]: That's the end of the archive for a while.
• 1:04:45
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's an all-time right there.
• 1:04:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I think we get it at the end right there.
• 1:04:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: No one's cheering now.
• 1:04:52
[SPEAKER_03]: We get it at the end right there.
• 1:04:53
  [SPEAKER_03]: It worked right there.
• 1:04:56
  [SPEAKER_03]: That was wrong.
• 1:04:58
  [SPEAKER_06]: Too soon.
• 1:04:58
  [SPEAKER_06]: It's good stuff.
• 1:05:01
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, my real quick here is we're all hate and we're not all of us because juice certainly wasn't Pete says fans should hurry up and get their season tickets right now because come December and we're in first place in the east Those prices are going to be crazy.
• 1:05:14
[SPEAKER_04]: That's right in the resell values going to be Man 26 fan of the year Can we can we create that?
• 1:05:23
  [SPEAKER_06]: I know he's
• 1:05:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, just fan the year for the team this right when we do this during the season Mike and survived and Seth I want a ticker of our win loss on there.
• 1:05:37
[SPEAKER_03]: I want it like one and two and a three and a
• 1:05:42
[SPEAKER_03]: For I don't know what the hell I scheduled is.
• 1:05:43
[SPEAKER_06]: If I know if you're counting each wins, for sure.
• 1:05:47
[SPEAKER_05]: I want Pete to be right.
• 1:05:49
[SPEAKER_06]: I want to be right.
• 1:05:49
  [SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
• 1:05:50
  [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no.
• 1:05:51
  [SPEAKER_03]: I don't.
• 1:05:52
[SPEAKER_03]: You all look before the next year's draft, man.
• 1:05:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Get out of here with that booze.
• 1:05:54
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't care about.
• 1:05:55
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't get excited about all that.
• 1:05:59
[SPEAKER_06]: I want Pete to be right.
• 1:06:01
[SPEAKER_06]: I want Pete to be right here in this space on the show with us doing and I try to tell y'all and I just can He crow the whole time.
• 1:06:07
  [SPEAKER_06]: I just don't see it.
• 1:06:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: I don't want to be wrong.
• 1:06:11
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to be right.
• 1:06:12
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to force me.
• 1:06:13
[SPEAKER_04]: I want to throw water.
• 1:06:15
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's make sure we clarify this.
• 1:06:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I've heard that Sunday.
• 1:06:18
  [SPEAKER_04]: I get any younger.
• 1:06:19
  [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
• 1:06:21
  [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
• 1:06:21
  [SPEAKER_06]: We're with you, Mike.
• 1:06:22
[SPEAKER_06]: So what what will officially, because you know five
• 1:06:33
[SPEAKER_06]: You did say nine and a half, so I guess you could have nine and a tie, so nine and a tie.
• 1:06:38
  [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
• 1:06:39
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, there we go.
• 1:06:40
[SPEAKER_06]: See you back in the game.
• 1:06:42
[SPEAKER_06]: That is nine and a half.
• 1:06:43
[SPEAKER_06]: So okay, if they come in and eight wins can juice do throw us absolutely.
• 1:06:49
  [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
• 1:06:50
[SPEAKER_06]: What about what will allow Pete to be right?
• 1:06:53
  [SPEAKER_06]: We can establish this.
• 1:06:56
[SPEAKER_04]: You got to win a playoff game for people to be great.
• 1:06:58
  [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, he's got a good point.
• 1:06:59
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was a 20 and oh, like a half hour ago.
• 1:07:01
[SPEAKER_02]: He's talking about first place.
• 1:07:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's a good point.
• 1:07:03
  [SPEAKER_04]: Five and Otis starts.
• 1:07:04
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
• 1:07:24
  [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, he's at 12 wins.
• 1:07:25
  [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
• 1:07:25
  [SPEAKER_06]: There it is.
• 1:07:26
  [SPEAKER_06]: 12 wins.
• 1:07:26
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, the juice at nine and a half pizza 12 We'll see what happens.
• 1:07:32
[SPEAKER_06]: I just hate training camp.
• 1:07:33
[SPEAKER_06]: What's Mike got for his big staff.
• 1:07:35
  [SPEAKER_06]: Mike got some.
• 1:07:35
  [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
• 1:07:36
  [SPEAKER_04]: Here.
• 1:07:36
  [SPEAKER_04]: Here's mine this week.
• 1:07:38
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't make it.
• 1:07:38
[SPEAKER_04]: I tried to tell you.
• 1:07:39
  [SPEAKER_06]: I forgot.
• 1:07:40
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm so used to going.
• 1:07:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
• 1:07:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
• 1:07:41
  [SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
• 1:07:42
  [SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
• 1:07:42
  [SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
• 1:07:42
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with you.
• 1:07:43
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with you.
• 1:07:43
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with you.
• 1:07:44
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with you.
• 1:07:44
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with you.
• 1:07:45
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with you.
• 1:07:45
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it with me.
• 1:07:46
  [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
• 1:07:47
[SPEAKER_04]: I tried to tell y'all and I've been trying to tell y'all their preseason rankings don't matter in recent weeks.
• 1:07:53
[SPEAKER_04]: There's been a lot of rankings of many things in the lead up to training camp.
• 1:07:57
[SPEAKER_04]: PSPN ranked Jordan Brooks the number seven off ball line back or a channel number eighth running back, Warren Sharp thinks Miami's offensive line is ranked 29th out of 32.
• 1:08:09
[SPEAKER_04]: ESPN has Miami with the worst roster in the NFL in Warren Sharp just today said Miami has the worst roster and it will be between two and five games CBS they said today Miami's got the fourth worst quarterback situation in the NFL right now and I see some fans of the dolphins they get big mad over such rankings and you know they get upset and what you could nitpick over something a-chanted eighth maybe he should be six offensive lines or maybe
• 1:08:39
[SPEAKER_04]: Overall, I think these rankings are fair and objective to an unbiased eye.
• 1:08:45
[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I know fans that all fans are unbiased, and no matter what they feel their team is, they're favorite or who their favorite players are, they feel like they're being pooped on and disrespected by those in the media who come out with these rankings.
• 1:09:00
[SPEAKER_04]: But look, these are preseason rankings at the end of the day.
• 1:09:04
  [SPEAKER_04]: Now real quick,
• 1:09:06
[SPEAKER_04]: My grandfather was a very wise man who passed down many life lessons to me over the years before he passed away.
• 1:09:12
[SPEAKER_04]: And I feel like I would be doing the world of disservice, if I didn't share some of those life lessons.
• 1:09:16
[SPEAKER_04]: So let me share three life lessons, my grandfather, of sharing with me over the years.
• 1:09:21
[SPEAKER_04]: One, never play cards with someone named after a state or a city.
• 1:09:27
[SPEAKER_04]: Two, you can't make a hope into a housewife.
• 1:09:30
[SPEAKER_04]: And three, don't pay any attention to NFL, free season rankings.
• 1:09:36
[SPEAKER_04]: They don't matter in about eight weeks.
• 1:09:39
[SPEAKER_04]: The NFL play games for real.
• 1:09:41
[SPEAKER_04]: And if HN runs for 1300 yards, and he catches some of the passes, who cares if he's ranked eighth by NFL coaches, scouts, executives.
• 1:09:50
[SPEAKER_04]: And if HN has that type of year, that probably means the offensive line is way better than 29.
• 1:09:56
[SPEAKER_04]: If Jordan Brooks leads the NFL and tackles again, who cares that he was ranked seventh best off all linebacker by so and so and so and so.
• 1:10:04
[SPEAKER_04]: And if the dolphins truly have the worst roster in the NFL, they will win seven or eight games and prove people wrong.
• 1:10:10
  [SPEAKER_04]: None of this matters.
• 1:10:12
  [SPEAKER_04]: Now.
• 1:10:14
[SPEAKER_04]: is I tell fans that often to chill out and that could upset with these rankings.
• 1:10:17
[SPEAKER_04]: I do want to correct some dolphins fans and something I'm starting to see on social media and various outlets that there's a segment of fans that often they're saying that makes no sense.
• 1:10:28
[SPEAKER_04]: So this is a bonus preemptive.
• 1:10:30
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to tell y'all right now in advance.
• 1:10:33
[SPEAKER_04]: I see many fans of the dolphin jumping to the conclusion that if the experts are right and Miami ends up with a top three pick in the draft, they don't have to take a quarterback next year, if Willis plays well.
• 1:10:44
[SPEAKER_04]: Folks, there is in the world in this solar system where if Miami wins two or three or four games Willis played well enough to tie himself to no longer in your past and not a quarterback at the top around one in a quarterback rich draft.
• 1:10:59
  [SPEAKER_04]: That isn't
• 1:11:01
[SPEAKER_04]: and you are providing to that's even an option.
• 1:11:05
[SPEAKER_04]: So, if, in top three pick, they're not going to take a wide receiver like Jeremiah Smith over a quarterback.
• 1:11:12
[SPEAKER_04]: Plus, side note, don't forget, these guys from the Packers, we're all here now.
• 1:11:16
[SPEAKER_04]: They never take wide receivers around one, and they damn sure ain't taking one at, in the top three.
• 1:11:21
[SPEAKER_04]: I know they took one around one in 2025, but that's only because the roster was so loaded.
• 1:11:27
  [SPEAKER_04]: was all they needed.
• 1:11:29
[SPEAKER_04]: That's not going to be the situation in Miami.
• 1:11:31
[SPEAKER_04]: They also aren't going to trade a top-free pick for ransom of all these other picks when you have a glaring need to quarterback.
• 1:11:39
[SPEAKER_04]: They will take the quarterback of the future because you don't plan on picking top three again any time soon.
• 1:11:44
[SPEAKER_04]: You jump at that opportunity.
• 1:11:46
[SPEAKER_04]: And for the segmented dolphins fans who say silly things, like archmanings really not that good.
• 1:11:51
[SPEAKER_04]: Or Julian slans the same size as two.
• 1:11:54
  [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want him.
• 1:11:54
[SPEAKER_04]: Or that team more runs a slow 40 time to try and justify and lie to themselves and cope.
• 1:12:00
[SPEAKER_04]: And feel better about not taking a quarterback in the top run.
• 1:12:03
[SPEAKER_04]: One F my M happens to be there.
• 1:12:05
  [SPEAKER_04]: Stop.
• 1:12:06
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm so silly.
• 1:12:07
[SPEAKER_04]: Tell me you don't watch calls football without telling me you don't watch calls football, live in reality.
• 1:12:12
[SPEAKER_04]: So I tried to tell you all preseason rankings don't matter and I'm trying to tell you ahead of time.
• 1:12:18
[SPEAKER_04]: If my audience up for the top three pick, they're taking a quarterback, believe that.
• 1:12:22
[SPEAKER_04]: I tried to tell you.
• 1:12:26
[SPEAKER_06]: There's a reason why I have given up the clean up.
• 1:12:32
[SPEAKER_06]: He doubled down, he tried to tell us two things in one.
• 1:12:36
  [SPEAKER_03]: He did.
• 1:12:36
  [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I see it.
• 1:12:37
[SPEAKER_04]: Archmany is looking at the echo.
• 1:12:39
[SPEAKER_04]: You nuts, did you watch Texas play last year?
• 1:12:42
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, he was sensational and more for Oregon was fantastic.
• 1:12:47
[SPEAKER_04]: If you were to came out, he would have been a pick number two.
• 1:12:49
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's a, if they, if, I get, if, you know, if, they have a top three.
• 1:12:54
[SPEAKER_04]: If they're taking a quarter bet folks is you're not picking top three because you're starting
• 1:13:01
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's not reality.
• 1:13:03
  [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
• 1:13:04
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm telling you this, Mike.
• 1:13:05
[SPEAKER_03]: We're not having a top three pig.
• 1:13:07
  [SPEAKER_03]: You're on the right.
• 1:13:08
  [SPEAKER_03]: Told you.
• 1:13:09
  [SPEAKER_06]: Not without a half.
• 1:13:10
[SPEAKER_03]: What if we're not going to have a top three pig, Mike?
• 1:13:15
  [SPEAKER_03]: It's not happening.
• 1:13:19
[SPEAKER_04]: He's the best of both worlds.
• 1:13:20
[SPEAKER_06]: He can't get our training if you win.
• 1:13:22
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, hey, what's up, Pete?
• 1:13:24
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we got to figure out, Pete.
• 1:13:26
  [SPEAKER_04]: What's this?
• 1:13:26
[SPEAKER_04]: When is Super Bowl trained up to one?
• 1:13:28
[SPEAKER_06]: And by the way, Mike, I'm one of those guys who's not on the arch, man and trade.
• 1:13:31
[SPEAKER_06]: I just eat whatever you think.
• 1:13:34
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not on.
• 1:13:34
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not on any of those trains right now.
• 1:13:37
[SPEAKER_03]: I was on a Fernando and those are trained because I saw what he did over and over and over again.
• 1:13:43
  [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
• 1:13:44
[SPEAKER_03]: You're some guys that, you know,
• 1:13:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not for more, like, why are you still trying to stay in college, bro?
• 1:13:51
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 1:13:52
[SPEAKER_03]: The next level, I don't know, I could just want to go to the jet.
• 1:13:56
[SPEAKER_03]: And you talk about size, size matters in the league, because we all know, size does matter in the league, you know?
• 1:14:03
[SPEAKER_06]: So, what's that on my side to tell y'all for?
• 1:14:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, we'll see what happens this year with those guys.
• 1:14:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you know, these guys, you know, maybe they, you know, feel like they can take their team to the promise land, which is nice and college football, but everybody's everybody's dream in my opinion.
• 1:14:21
[SPEAKER_03]: I think ours has to stay right.
• 1:14:23
[SPEAKER_04]: No, you don't have to stay.
• 1:14:25
[SPEAKER_03]: No, I'm saying, he had to stay.
• 1:14:26
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:14:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he had to stay.
• 1:14:29
  [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
• 1:14:29
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
• 1:14:30
[SPEAKER_03]: But so, guys, it don't want to come to the league yet.
• 1:14:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Did they want to be in the league?
• 1:14:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Go to just, you know what I mean?
• 1:14:35
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's my thing.
• 1:14:37
[SPEAKER_03]: If guys don't want to be in the league, then they don't shit.
• 1:14:39
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's our dream as a kid, man.
• 1:14:42
  [SPEAKER_03]: I dream as a kid.
• 1:14:43
  [SPEAKER_03]: I'll say this, too.
• 1:14:44
[SPEAKER_03]: You get a chance of mental league.
• 1:14:45
[SPEAKER_03]: You could have been a number two overall pick.
• 1:14:47
[SPEAKER_03]: But hell you doing, man.
• 1:14:49
  [SPEAKER_04]: What's the chance?
• 1:14:50
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm kidding, man.
• 1:14:51
  [SPEAKER_04]: Where it's at?
• 1:14:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: Pete, man.
• 1:14:53
[SPEAKER_04]: One baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, one baby, somebody bring back those four bombers, man.
• 1:15:00
[SPEAKER_04]: Pete, man, you went back to Tennessee because you don't want to play for the judge.
• 1:15:02
  [SPEAKER_04]: So it's a bad, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, Pete, man, you're going to have to tell the chief because it's family had a lot of money already.
• 1:15:07
[SPEAKER_03]: He had to go to the army.
• 1:15:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, a lot of them have a lot of money now, don't you?
• 1:15:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Y'all got a lot of money now.
• 1:15:12
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you're so dumb saying, they're just doing a lot of them.
• 1:15:14
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll say this to you about Arch.
• 1:15:17
[SPEAKER_04]: Tell me one owner who needs a quarterback, they have a chance to pick a manning that won't.
• 1:15:23
  [SPEAKER_06]: For sure.
• 1:15:24
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's going to get people excited.
• 1:15:25
  [SPEAKER_06]: There's no doubt.
• 1:15:27
  [SPEAKER_06]: But I also think that that's why he's being over-valuated.
• 1:15:30
[SPEAKER_06]: But that's another conversation that we've heard.
• 1:15:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because I thought he played well.
• 1:15:33
[SPEAKER_04]: The second half of the last year, he really came on.
• 1:15:35
[SPEAKER_04]: And I thought he played really well.
• 1:15:36
[SPEAKER_04]: And I want to make a type of man.
• 1:15:38
[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's not all these games look into generate.
• 1:15:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he's a different type of manning, too.
• 1:15:42
[SPEAKER_03]: He has a great different skills.
• 1:15:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and those guys had it.
• 1:15:46
[SPEAKER_03]: He's definitely equipped for this next level.
• 1:15:48
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to be exciting to have you.
• 1:15:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Chelsea, well, Juicy, it has passed about that time.
