- 6:54[SPEAKER_17]: Okay, good afternoon.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_17]: Welcome to the hotline.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_17]: Welcome to the hotline.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_17]: No doubt about it.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_17]: We're here.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_17]: That was Whitney Houston, May 14th, 1991 at HBO.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_17]: And her splendid rendition of the National Anthem on this 25th anniversary of 9-11.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_17]: And I'll have to tell you that.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_17]: I don't have to tell you what happened.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_17]: You know what happened.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_17]: And it's bad enough.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_17]: So anyway, we've got to guess today.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, good, good.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_17]: And it's kind of a downer anyway, talking about 9-11, but sure.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_29]: here to talk about a event on suicide right yes correct so this Sunday September 13th we are hosting the out of the darkness walk for suicide prevention it is at Thompson Park right here in Watertown, New York registration starts at 10 a.m. following a ceremony before the walk at 11 and I will be the keynote speaker this year and I'm super excited for it okay you come
- 7:58[SPEAKER_29]: the couriers.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah, I don't have my dad's fast talkings.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_29]: I can't talk as fast as him though.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_17]: You could sell ice to ask him away.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_17]: I see a question, right?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_17]: Well, that's good.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_17]: Well, we're glad to have you here, but suicide obviously not a funny subject, but and there's all sorts of types of suicide.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_17]: I mean, obviously you hear about the people who
- 8:22[SPEAKER_17]: very sick or something and do themselves in and all of that.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_17]: But also you read stories like today in the papers that was reading that the fastest growing segment is young girls 10 to 14.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah, it's a growing, I mean, with social media now, it just was really becoming more of a way that suicide rates and depression is just skyrocketing.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_29]: And this is why I advocate so much for mental health because when I was growing up, I'm 27 now, but growing up in high school, it was not talked about.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_29]: I had my own struggles and, you know, I want to be the person that I wish I had growing up and just keep advocating to break the stigma and to it.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_17]: Well, social media is a big deal, especially younger olds, maybe boys too, I don't know, but they get intimidated by it, they get embarrassed by it, people say things on it, you know, I look at it, it's just water off a duck when people say stupid things about me, because they do every day.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_29]: if you go on the internet but you know for somebody that age impression of all of that it's a big deal absolutely and it's you know it can be very scary you know there's great sides of the media but there's also scary sides as well and you know
- 9:38[SPEAKER_29]: When I, like I said, growing up social media, I mean, it's come a long way, but there was the bullies out there and such and having such a sensitive heart, I just, you know, kind of let it enable me, but, you know, going through my own recovery now is just made me realize that do not be afraid to speak up and open up about your own internal struggles.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_17]: So what's the, I don't keep up on all the social media nowadays, Facebook and all of that, there used to be, what was the one before Facebook?
- 10:07[SPEAKER_29]: Oh, my space.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_29]: I've never had my space though.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_29]: I was a little bit younger than that.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, all these different things.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_17]: And there's talking of regulating them.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_17]: There was a big settlement with one of the big internet companies over this recently, but should parents be, it's a constant issue when I have the school struggle with their cell phones and
- 10:27[SPEAKER_17]: whether they should have iPhones or just a flip phone or something, yeah, but what should people have?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_17]: I mean, is obviously some people deal with it, but...
- 10:36[SPEAKER_29]: Absolutely.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_29]: I mean, I know a cell phone has its pros and cons, but when it comes to a crisis, you want to be able to reach out to a crisis, hotline, if you're in a moment where you just need to reach out to somebody, whether you try to phone a friend and somebody doesn't answer, you want to be able to.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_29]: be openly and freely speak to somebody about what's going on.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, no, no, I was in school, there were no cell phones.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_17]: No internet.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_17]: You were there at school, you were there at school.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_17]: Then you went home.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_17]: So there was none of that nonsense going on.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah, and like I said, like mental health really, like, I mean, it's far better sorry dad, but I went out to help.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_29]: But far back to his age, it was not talked about the way it is today, but it wasn't nearly as, I mean,
- 11:26[SPEAKER_29]: bad.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_29]: I mean, I know the rates of skyrocketed in the last 10 years, but it's just very important to just keep speaking about it and bringing it up.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_17]: Because it's real.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_17]: It's not just some made up thing to make people feel sympathetic.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_29]: Absolutely.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_17]: And there's something on Saturday or Sunday is what time again?
- 11:45[SPEAKER_29]: It's registrations at 10 a.m., then there'll be on-site activities, there'll be free food, free ice cream, and raffles as well.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_29]: But registration after that, there'll be like a ceremony held before we take a walk around Thompson, which is just a short walk.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_29]: And I want to be sharing my story on how I became on the other side of recovery.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_29]: And just having that story impact
- 12:12[SPEAKER_17]: So you weren't bad, shape it one?
- 12:13[SPEAKER_29]: Yes, absolutely.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_29]: I'm a five attempt survivor.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_17]: Really?
- 12:17[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_17]: Look healthy now.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_29]: I honestly feel like I've been the best of ever been in the last couple of years.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_17]: You stay away from social media.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_29]: Um, I honestly just use it to advocate and promote mental health.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_17]: I don't really care for it much as far as or anybody's Facebook friend or any of that stuff.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_29]: Uh, yeah.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_29]: I mean, I have friends on Facebook, but they all know like, I, since I advocate so much for it that if they're in a crisis that's happened before, they've reached out to me and somebody to talk to and I encourage them like, if I know somebody or they reach out to me, I'm more than happy to help them.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_29]: there is and there's as well if you were to look up online crisis numbers in your area in county it'll pop right up.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_17]: Mm-hmm.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_17]: Oh that's great.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_17]: That's great.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_17]: Anything else I should know?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_29]: As far as I know, I don't think so, I know we covered the walk, what's going to be held and most importantly, if you're around the area, if you're free that day, it's free to register and help support the cause and break the stigma, so actually listening.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_17]: And again, the date is Sunday, what time?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_29]: 10 a.m. for registration.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_17]: 10 a.m. up at the park.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_29]: Yep, correct.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_17]: Okay, it should be nice weather, right?
- 13:31[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah, there is a chance of rain, but I'm really hope I mean rain is rain, but yeah, it'll be for the most part good weather Summer's over, almost.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_29]: I know, but I do love my fall.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, you'll find as you get older people at this time of year They always say
- 13:47[SPEAKER_17]: I can't believe it went so fast.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_29]: I literally said that to you when I... And they say it every year.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_29]: It's like, oh, I know, and it's like, man, I didn't get that much done in the summertime or it just does fly.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_17]: Well, sure you did.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_17]: Just working hard.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_17]: Working hard.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_17]: Is that a full-time job you've got doing that?
- 14:02[SPEAKER_29]: Um, no, it's just on my own terms.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_29]: I just do it.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_29]: Um, I volunteered for it.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_17]: You're gonna get into car sales like you're doing it.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_29]: Oh, goodness no.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_29]: Ha ha.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_29]: Maybe a commercial?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_17]: I did, I did that a couple of years.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_17]: That was enough for me.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_29]: Oh yeah.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah, I'll let him handle the cars.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_29]: He can handle the bookings.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_17]: Oh he's working down in Adams.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah, when Billy had passed, he got bought out by Wallys and then for somewhat of a reason Wally got in a lawsuit, that didn't ask much detail, but now it's owned by CDJR.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_29]: They have an annoying
- 14:38[SPEAKER_17]: Well, don't say that.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_17]: Don't say that.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_17]: Not on radio.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_17]: But, uh, no, anyway, that's good.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_17]: Well, Englishy Fred down there and, uh, get a new Chrysler.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_29]: Yep.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_29]: That's right.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_17]: Okay.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_17]: Sounds good.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_17]: And, uh, we appreciate you coming in.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_17]: Stevie and all of that.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_17]: The people confuse you with Stevie next.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_29]: Not many Stevies.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_29]: No, I get called Steve though.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_29]: Really?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_29]: I'm like, but I just, yeah, it's a fun, I like my name.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_17]: Okay, well good for you and congratulations on all your work and good luck on Sunday.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_29]: Thank you so much.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_17]: All right, we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_33]: You can feel it in the air.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_33]: The lights are back on.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_33]: The stands are filling up.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_33]: And Friday night football has returned to the North country.

- 16:21[SPEAKER_16]: Radical anti-Trump donors from Hollywood and New York City are funding his campaign with millions.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_16]: Yet he expects us to believe he'll work with President Trump.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_16]: Kathy Hopel's already poured tens of thousands into his campaign.

- 16:51[SPEAKER_16]: He funds his own campaign with absolutely no special interest and no strings attached.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_16]: Anthony will fight corruption in both parties, cut our taxes, secure the border, defend the Second Amendment, he'll protect our farms and fork drug.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_16]: Anthony will fight for our veterans and answer to no one but you.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_16]: He's nobody's man but yours.

- 18:52[SPEAKER_17]: This is according to the police bladder, the news media were there.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_17]: That's not news to them.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_17]: Police officer assault, and I think it is.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_17]: You know, if the skin was broken, that's assault, too.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_17]: Now, if it's just a little pressure on a short sleeve, probably not.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_17]: But, you know, because that's dangerous.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_17]: You could get hepatitis or a staff infection, any number of things.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_17]: And God knows what you're going to get from a homeless person.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_17]: The human mouth is not a clean place, I'm saying.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_17]: I'm just saying that about homeless people.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_17]: There's a lot of bacteria there.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_17]: So getting bit, whether it's by a human or an animal, can be very serious.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_17]: So that's a new story.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_17]: CityComp police officer bit by homeless person.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_17]: You know, one of the ones probably with the shopping

- 20:25[SPEAKER_17]: It's a town thing, I guess, but holy cow, who's going to pay for that, the people on the Cagwin Road, or are they going to get a grant?
- 20:32[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, they should pay for it.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_17]: We're going on for years.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_17]: 17 million, what do they get for their 17 million?
- 20:43[SPEAKER_17]: They are, yeah, well, they built free roads for developers and they did all his other stuff and the lawyers and developers and consulting engineers and other people, the Ching-Kacching Kacching out of the town barn, 17th and old Jim Wright there, he's just getting them straight in the round, but what's he going to do?
- 21:09[SPEAKER_17]: Jim, what are you going to do?
- 21:12[SPEAKER_17]: Oh my god, oh my god, so I haven't seen Senator right in a while.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_17]: I was like, I mean, I get along with him well, but they brought him into straighten out the mass and he must have said, oh, Jesus, what have they taken on here?
- 21:28[SPEAKER_17]: All righty, in any event, we'll see what goes on out there, and of course we can talk about 9-11 of any reminiscences you have of that, too.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_17]: Good afternoon here on the air.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_20]: Policeman, she probably heard those bad voices that told her to, uh, I'd like to policeman or maybe she was over medicated.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_17]: Well, it was, I think it was a man who bit the policemen.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, I either way.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, 30, I had ever said, I don't know, 20.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_17]: I saw it on the police slaughter of all places.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_17]: I didn't see it on the news.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know why a sulting an officer is not news, but apparently it's not in this town.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, so what do you think couldn't help themselves?
- 22:17[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, what do you think should be done?
- 22:21[UNKNOWN]: What?
- 22:21[SPEAKER_20]: What can you do with those people?
- 22:23[SPEAKER_20]: There's nothing.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_20]: And let's say, while they can even murder someone today and all you got to say is that your voices and you were over-medicated and it takes care of that.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_20]: But I don't know what you can do with these people on the street running around.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_20]: uh... they have nothing they don't have any money or uh... uh... do them a favor if they put them in jail you get three squares in a car you know yeah it was a twenty four year old man named Matthew barlow uh... listed his home list is most of the people on the blotter are
- 23:00[SPEAKER_17]: uh... happened and one-on-one public square second degree obstruction of governmental administration a misdemeanor resisting arrest a misdemeanor and second degree harassment of violation i don't know depends on how serious the bite was as to whether it's higher charges but those charges would if it was broke you know that's still a violation look at millie uh... uh... so i don't know you know he hey if they put him in jail for a while
- 23:28[SPEAKER_20]: You'll get a shower, clean up, and some clean clothes.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_20]: But I don't know what they're going to do with these people.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_20]: Of course we know with all the new apartment complex is open and up for them.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_20]: For free, hey, I'd come here from somewhere else.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_20]: If I could get free leaven, medical food, everything.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_20]: I'd come here if I was homeless from somewhere else.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_17]: Well, I'll tell you, if I could get a brand new apartment over in that building on May and Avenue, I would.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_17]: Why not?
- 24:01[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_20]: And the one that cross from the mail station, boy, that's huge.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_17]: Now, did you hear Councilman Kimball says, you don't want to take away the shopping cars because you'll inconvenience the homeless?
- 24:15[SPEAKER_20]: You know those shopping cuts are about 300 bucks a piece.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, I know.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_20]: That's, you know, that's fact.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_20]: the Plaza and Washington Street.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_20]: And there were two or three cards from save a lot up the other in the state street.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_20]: So somebody had to push him from that law down to Washington Street all the way to the Plaza.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_20]: So I call him and I told him he got two or three cards here that somebody brought down here.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_20]: They didn't care.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_20]: So they got a lot of cards to take
- 24:55[SPEAKER_17]: All right, thank you.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_17]: You know, that's the thing.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_17]: And you know, I mean, I think they have a right to the police.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_17]: They're to the, uh, cards.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_17]: You know, there's no doubt about that, but, uh, whatever.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_17]: Then the other things in the blotter, here's somebody I'm pretty avenue.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_17]: That's right up the street.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_17]: That's a pretty street.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_17]: It's a lot of sin that goes on and pretty evident.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_17]: I'll tell you.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_17]: I'll tell you as a light going on here.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_17]: Criminal possession of a control substance, seventh degree.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_17]: I've always wondered about these drug trade.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_17]: If something seventh degree, how serious is it?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_17]: First degree, second degree, third degree, fourth.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_17]: Seventh degree?
- 25:30[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_17]: Doesn't sound like much to me, but what else are we going to do?
- 25:39[SPEAKER_17]: There's a guy who stole an X-Box.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_17]: I don't even know what one is.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_17]: There's somebody in danger to welfare of a child.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_17]: That was, you know, unsafe or unsanitary living conditions.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, here's a guy.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_17]: He's almost, of course, 23.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_17]: Yep.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_17]: Second degree harassment.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_17]: He's accused of punching a 19-year-old woman on the right side of her jaw.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_17]: That's just harassment.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, that's okay.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_17]: That's his own lesson.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_17]: What can you do?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_17]: He's a thug.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_17]: David, it's the salvation army.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_17]: Oh boy, here's somebody of a woman, it's a woman, homeless, homeless.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_17]: Secondary great trespass, a misdemeanor, he's accused of remaining in a dwelling and refusing to leave after being advised by police officers to get out.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, I'll tell you, there's a 65-year-old.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, she left the scene of an accident.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_17]: So that's the crime wave in Watertown.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_17]: It's the perception of crime, I guess.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_17]: Well, anyway, we wish the best for the officer who was bitten the arm, don't know how serious it was.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_17]: I'm surprised the media hasn't taken a closer look at that.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_17]: You know, seven, five, five, 12, 40 is the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_17]: We can check and see what else.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_17]: If you have any reminiscences of 9, 11, fine, I know you've probably heard enough about it on TV again, all of that, I get that, I get that.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_17]: But obviously it was a seminal of all of our lives.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, I think it was, wasn't it?
- 27:49[SPEAKER_17]: Hmm.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_17]: So, I don't know, anything else on your mind?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_17]: There's a call coming in.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_17]: But after you do it on the air.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_26]: Hey, you're after noon, man.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_26]: About her, and voice is that snog excuse.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_26]: Look at that son of Sam Keller.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, the guard.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_26]: Voice is anyone who is a mass smother.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_26]: The guy who shot John London.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_26]: He said he heard of voice, stuff.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_26]: That's crazy.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_26]: Well, I'm just saying, I mean, you can't blame it on a hand of voices, but they gave that guy shot line in 40 years, and I don't know if he made pro or not.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_17]: Uh, that would be Mark David Chapman, I believe, isn't it?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_26]: Well, he said he heard voices in my point.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_17]: Well, I guess, son of Sam, I didn't a dog speak to him or something.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_26]: Yeah, yeah, he heard voices.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_26]: He asked some dog told him to do it.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_17]: That is weird.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_26]: Anybody who wants to use that for L.B.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_26]: is crazy.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_17]: There's an Ogden's Bergman accused of stealing a gulf card at the governor's fair.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_17]: Wow.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_26]: What do you mean, Wesley, that stealing, if you bring it back, you just want to close it around for the night?
- 29:05[SPEAKER_17]: You know, that's an interesting thing.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_17]: If you rob a bank today and return to money tomorrow, are you still a bank robber?
- 29:10[SPEAKER_17]: You can find lawyers that will say you're not.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_26]: I was down in a Japanese county fair, some one of them fairs and then guys are cruising around with the golf carts, picking up a guy with his stuff, I'm like, well you better dump this one because it's all in the mall, with a ground, you know, they're way over fall.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_17]: Well don't forget, don't forget them.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_17]: You know, kids you're whatnot, and then I go.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_26]: But we drive that out, thank you for also your exact where it is.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, okay.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_17]: Okay.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_26]: Okay.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_26]: Okay.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_17]: Well, don't forget that Bravo Italiano festival starts this evening.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_17]: Good food, good people over at the Italian American Club in Belly-Reverdo.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_17]: I'm surprised nobody called in to tell us about it, but we'll tell you about it in any way.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_17]: Bravo Italiano.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_26]: Well, Mayor, Mayor, can I see something?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_26]: I think you should go to the brood to see you and be a special guest and you don't have to play 40 bucks ticket.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_17]: I don't mind paying 40 bucks.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_17]: The idea isn't that good.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_26]: I don't know.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_26]: I don't know what you get.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_26]: Was it?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_26]: It's up for you and see you lying at the time.

- 30:13[SPEAKER_26]: It's not the current mayor's supposed to be there as a secret guest.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_26]: It's not a record.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_26]: Well, she should pay 40 bucks.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_17]: She could afford 40 bucks for paying her $17,000 a year.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_17]: She could afford it.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_26]: No, I just bus a guess you probably get a fleet pass, but I'm just saying but think I want to have a date All right, thank you The point is you should be a special guy.

- 30:46[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_17]: All right.

- 30:52[SPEAKER_17]: It's your you donate a 40 bucks to the cause
- 30:56[SPEAKER_17]: I know, I know one of the things in here on waterchannel is like, well, what a fool do I get with that?

- 35:40[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_17]: Why is that?
- 35:44[SPEAKER_19]: Just because fresh out of jail man, you don't want to disorderly conduct.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_19]: Got to tell him how I felt.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_19]: It's all great.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_19]: Hey, I got that gear up.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_19]: It fits into your narrative, though, but I think you're mad enough because you come on the radio every day and you've faced this community, so I'm going to ask you questions about it.
- 36:04[UNKNOWN]: What do you think about all these bars so in drugs in the city?

- 37:38[SPEAKER_17]: Good for you, and he got nothing to show for it.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_17]: What do you got to show for it out in the town?
- 37:43[SPEAKER_17]: Nothing.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, he got an event set.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_17]: Well, no, you don't.

- 38:05[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, that was good news.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_19]: Well, say something.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_19]: I got something to do tomorrow, but if I was going to go to the zoo and get the $40 wrist dance to drink, did you have cover sleep beer or do I have a pay for beer on top of the day?
- 38:27[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know, but why don't you slip a couple of maddy datties in your pocket and you'll be all set?
- 38:34[SPEAKER_19]: Wow.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, I don't want to cheat them.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_19]: I'm just curious if Yes, I want to get to risk the other kids making a few beers.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, I don't mind giving to someone either to do.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_19]: But I would take the regular tickets like what?
- 38:57[UNKNOWN]: $18.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_19]: So right here in all the extra, I think the beers should be free.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_17]: Okay.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_17]: Well, that may be, I don't know.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_17]: But...
- 39:09[SPEAKER_17]: All right, sounds good.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_17]: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 39:43[SPEAKER_17]: Stop it.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, I mean, I'm not complaining.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_19]: I'm saying this.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_19]: There are no.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_17]: You have a good day.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_17]: Let me just make it clear.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_17]: These people make the accusations or assumptions.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_17]: I'm sure you know.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_17]: And it's silly.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_17]: Don't worry, it's silly.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_17]: We may have to ban them if they talk that way.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_17]: It doesn't matter me.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_17]: You can insult me.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_17]: I'm a public figure.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_17]: If you want to say I'm of whatever you want to say, you can't, you've got a constitutional right.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_17]: But not other private business people, you don't.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_17]: And most those people, I don't know all of them, but most of them, I know they're good people.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_17]: Good Godfaring people.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_17]: 755, 1240 is the phone number.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_17]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show
- 40:37[SPEAKER_17]: We'd like to get those.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, let's see, um... How much in here, really?
- 40:49[SPEAKER_17]: Hmm, what the heck's wrong with that guy?
- 40:58[SPEAKER_17]: Well, the homeless, yeah.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_17]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_18]: Hey, good afternoon, Jeff Graham.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_18]: Chad Day, I think we'll remember where we were that day.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_18]: I just like to point out that the people that attacked us, the hijackers, 15 of them were from Saudi Arabia, two were from the United Arab Emirates.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_18]: They weren't from Afghanistan or Iraq, or Iran, and Trump wants to give a nuclear bomb to Saudi Arabia.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_18]: That's all I got to say.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_18]: Okay.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_18]: I think him and Jerry Kushner, and with cop, they're getting billions from those Saudis and you're at the Arab Emirates, but... Well, you know what they always say about the folk?
- 42:06[SPEAKER_17]: You know what they say about the folks over there, it's not all of them, but it's always them.
- 42:11[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_17]: So.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_18]: Well, that just wanted to point that out.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_17]: Okay, well, thank you.
- 42:15[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_17]: No doubt about it.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_17]: And we'll see.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_17]: Boy, thank you.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_17]: You got an awful convention down in Dallas is over.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_17]: Oh, wow.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_17]: Watch as much of that as I could bear.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_17]: And there was a speech last night by RFK junior that was just exquisite and he really made some points with Trump sitting oh yeah I'm going to give you a $5,000 no you're not yeah somebody texted in bravo Italiano festival this weekend if you feel like mentioned i did mention he minutes ago it's this weekend starts tonight great event down to the Italian american club on
- 43:04[SPEAKER_17]: So I had to promote it, wonderful people, good food, good food.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_17]: Yep, Italian food, I hear.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_17]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call, to be on the show of shows today.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_17]: And whatever you want to talk about is what we want to talk about.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_17]: But we'll see what else is on.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_17]: Now, have you ever been bitten by a human?
- 43:41[SPEAKER_17]: I haven't.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_17]: That's why I never liked it when I did, you know, you always saw those kids in high school with hikks and so on, not pat hikks, but hikks.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_17]: Really, it's kind of dangerous, but it's also kind of a stupid activity.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_17]: But trying to bite a police officer, I would think that'd be a big problem.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_17]: But again, we don't know the severity of the bite or anything like that, but I mean, you'd have to take the homeless person down and get them tested for all that stuff that he might have.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_17]: I mean, we're still all anybody, everybody has bacteria in their mouth.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_17]: But I would imagine almost people person would have more of it.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_17]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_08]: Hey.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_17]: I'll tell you, these people.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_17]: 755, 1240 is the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_17]: Who are the burdens we bear here, the burdens we bear?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_17]: You're not safe.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_17]: One else if we got here going on, I thought that golf cart getting stolen was a big story.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_17]: uh... government will man possesses eleven hundred banks of fentanyl and seventeen grams of cocaine that is something isn't that is something i didn't know that was going to go for more of all good afternoon you're on the air he has to be wrong that last callers another uh... president hater and he is full of that he's spreading fake news the president doesn't want to give
- 45:30[SPEAKER_20]: a comic bombs to a Saudi Arabia.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_20]: He wants to help them build nuclear power plants.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_20]: Sorry.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_20]: He gets on there and he says he wants to give a bombs.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_20]: He's another hater.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_20]: That's all he is.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_20]: Thanks, Mayor.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_17]: Thank you.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_17]: I don't really know that.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_17]: All the things in the Middle East.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_17]: I'll think he's going over there.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_17]: Good, bad, whatever.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_17]: uh... somebody said the officer might get rabies i don't know about rabies but you could get you certainly could get uh... i don't know a lot about communicable diseases i've had them but uh... that this uh... appetite as i guess it be the most serious one from my medical experts i've consulted with
- 46:28[SPEAKER_17]: could be other things too.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_17]: I mean, obviously, you'd want to, again, that's, you know, assuming the skin is broken and all of that.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_17]: If it was against a, you know, a cloth shirt or something and it wasn't broken, it probably isn't as big a deal.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_17]: But you still biting, you're still assaulting somebody.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_17]: It's still assault.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_17]: I don't care what you say.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_17]: So it's not right, but what
- 46:57[SPEAKER_17]: And three quarters of the names are followed by a comma, the word homeless, and another comma.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_17]: Never used to be that way.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_17]: Used to be their criminals had addresses.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_17]: So it tells me, you can't do anything to these people.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_17]: Nothing you can do to them.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_17]: They're pretty much bulletproof, if you will.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_17]: It's a criminal justice system.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_14]: So I don't know.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_17]: We'll see, maybe the news media will follow up on that biting, but that's a kind of story that's not really interesting.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_17]: It's a little too water-cooler-ish, that kind of stuff for them.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_17]: They want their news to be more serious than that.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_17]: But I think that's indicative of something in our society.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_17]: 755-1240 the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows and go from there and let's see somebody said i want to hear the angry guy we do too the angry guy is the man he is the man
- 48:23[SPEAKER_17]: You know another thing I saw in these stories about downtown this and that and this spate of closures downtown.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_17]: Let's look at the closures.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_17]: Bstro is closing and haven't been that busy in a while.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_17]: For some other places that have opened.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, they will sandies lunch and that, that's open.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_17]: And Vito is closed because the guy retired, but that's reopening
- 48:54[SPEAKER_17]: paddock club closed for very specific reasons, not necessarily economic, and Mr. Subcodes is the guy wanted to retire, he still goes in on variety like today, and does his chicken barbecue.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_17]: So, it's not like everything is closing down, but there is a natural back and forth.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_17]: I mean, if they spent time covering a amount of closures
- 49:21[SPEAKER_17]: and say I place like the mall, I mean, I'd be quite substantial.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_17]: So, you know, downtown is generally doing fine.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_17]: A lot of good has happened.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_17]: Again, you got to look at the reasons for why something closed, and not just say, well, we got six closures, whatever they claim.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_17]: Anyway, 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_17]: If you'd like to give us a call,
- 49:51[SPEAKER_17]: can be on the air to talk about whatever you want within the bounds of good taste of course.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_17]: And also within the bounds of you can't just make outlandish statements against other people that charge people do things that they may or may not be doing.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_18]: You know, just can't do that.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_17]: It's not how it works.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_17]: But after you're doing it on the air.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_08]: I sat through Maggie's presentation yesterday and you mentioned they're asked what the town got for it.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_08]: It sounds like to me, the majority of the costs there are actually construction of water and sewer facilities.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_08]: One of them you can see now actually they're putting in new water mains for the mobile parks of Northlander States and Pine Metos.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_08]: That project I believe alone was a substantial
- 50:49[SPEAKER_17]: Well, that may be, but there was an awful lot of money spent on lawyers.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_08]: The rest of it, yeah, probably, you know, 10-15 percent equipment, you know, legal technical costs, I'd say, but things, I will say the seven news person there, I had a few maneuvers, they're hint-combeding that we, you know, you didn't trip over the
- 51:19[SPEAKER_08]: with kind of a scary situation there for a second.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_17]: What happened?
- 51:25[SPEAKER_08]: I think you were trying to get a microphone and just it was very dark and was reaching for it.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_08]: You know, I'm luckily very spray individual and was able to negotiate it safely.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_17]: Okay.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_17]: Now who's Maggie?
- 51:42[SPEAKER_08]: She wears her municipal solutions, so they've actually worked for the town.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_08]: They work for a number of towns and villages.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if municipal managers want assumes if they need solutions they it's because they have problems so oh we all got problems right yeah are you on the town board no I just sat through the presentation yeah how do you think the talent's been run in recent years oh well you know that's one there's definitely one way to look at it there mister right you know
- 52:18[SPEAKER_08]: He's run some big ships before, seems to be doing fine to me.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_17]: No, I mean the whole thing with all that money spent on that event center that was never going to be built.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you know, I didn't see, you know, he's a part of, like, track specific figures for that in the presentation that was given in Paul Wake, you know, I, you know, who knows?
- 52:36[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_17]: Well, who knows?
- 52:39[SPEAKER_17]: It's only money.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what it compares to in a city, what is that?
- 52:50[SPEAKER_17]: What's like nowadays?
- 52:51[SPEAKER_17]: Oh my god, you can't, a city's got tons of dirt.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_17]: Well, a city's got some problems too, yeah.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_08]: You know, if you look at the water treatment plant project bear, I bet the percentage is, you know, for a project of that size track pretty closely to the town, if you're able to compare it to other projects throughout, you know, the trite county area, they're probably
- 53:12[SPEAKER_17]: Well, they probably are all, but it's just a sheer dollar volume of all these municipalities and what they're spending and because we want to have, I don't know I just don't think we can afford the amount of government we have Yeah, it's probably been an ongoing trend for some time unfortunately Well, anyway All right, well, thanks for calling in You have sir All right, thanks by now
- 53:43[SPEAKER_17]: Move back into the city, it'll be alright.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_17]: 755-1240 the phone number back with more in a moment.

- 55:22[SPEAKER_16]: He voted for Kamala Harris and hit it.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_16]: Radical anti-Trump donors from Hollywood and New York City are funding his campaign with millions.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_16]: Yet, he expects us to believe he'll work with President Trump, Kathy Hopel's already poor tens of thousands into his campaign.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_16]: Yet now he claims he'll stand up to her, Jen to be in a tax local workers, calling them lazy and drunk.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_16]: He even mocks local correction officers, viciously claiming they have no self work, Anthony Constantino is different.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_16]: He built his business right here in upstate New York and created a thousand good-paying jobs.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_16]: He funds his own campaign with absolutely no special interest and no strings attached.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_16]: Anthony will fight corruption in both parties.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_16]: Cut our taxes, secure the border, defend the Second Amendment, he'll protect our farms and fork drug.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_16]: Anthony will fight for our veterans and answer to no one but you.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_16]: He's nobody's man but yours.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_15]: I'm Anthony Garzantino and I approve this message.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_16]: Paid for by Constantine O'Forkonkers.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_14]: It might be faster to cross the street in the middle of the block, instead of at the crosswalk.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_14]: But drivers don't expect you in the middle of the block.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_14]: They can't see you very well either, especially between park cars.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_14]: And at 40 miles an hour, if you get hit, there's an 85% chance you'll die.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_14]: You might save some time crossing midblock, but just think what it could cost you.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_14]: CMBC.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_14]: The message from the governor's traffic safety committee in the New York State Department of Health and Transportation.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, you need to know why day I'm 1240 good afternoon.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_24]: You want to know and

- 57:16[SPEAKER_17]: Sunday morning at 10 up at Thompson Park.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_17]: Good thing to participate in.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_17]: Or if you need information, I'm sure you can.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_17]: There's any number of help lines, but sounds like Steve E. Currier is pretty dedicated to the cause.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_17]: I'm going to go for a call.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_17]: All ready?
- 57:32[SPEAKER_17]: And let's see.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_17]: Consumer prices,
- 57:40[SPEAKER_17]: Now you can analyze that and say 3.5 or 6.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_17]: Is that a lot?
- 57:48[SPEAKER_17]: Nobody wants to pay more for anything, do they?
- 57:52[SPEAKER_17]: But you want to, 4% raises every year, right?
- 57:57[SPEAKER_17]: If you're in the path for the CSEA or something.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_17]: So, how do you think that happens?
- 58:03[SPEAKER_17]: Got a charge more for everything.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_17]: I'll be debated on the news over the weekend after all the 9-11 coverage is over with, which it will be the end of today.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_17]: You'd like to see it, but on the other hand, you'd like to see it go too, because it certainly gets to be pretty walled a wall.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_17]: Nice day tomorrow high in the upper 70s chances of rain on Sunday high in the 70s, but still nice weather coming up generally chance of a little rain here and there that those things happen no doubt about it.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_17]: But don't let that get you down.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_17]: And tomorrow being the upper 70s, mostly sunny, that could be a picked in Saturday.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_17]: So re-bob.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_17]: So, you know, that was Shaggy and the gang
- 59:12[SPEAKER_17]: on the St. Lawrence and have yourself a great time, okay?
- 59:16[SPEAKER_17]: And already, well, now what else is coming up today?
- 59:19[SPEAKER_17]: I imagine Glenn Courier will be in at five o'clock with the live at five show, and that'll be entertaining.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_17]: And, of course, we've got a full week of hotline next week.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_17]: No vacations, no days off, no any things.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_17]: A full week of your hotline next week.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_17]: Wow, that's exciting.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_17]: Right here on this community broadcasters stations, we are, of course, WQTK, 92.7 and Ogden'sberg.
