- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here. And on this episode of The
- 0:44Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a very powerful
- 0:48hypnosis session that was created for a client that often
- 0:52felt disrespected or unseen, unlistened to that their values
- 0:59and standards weren't being met. And that got them quite
- 1:03frustrated, quite annoyed, and also just feeling like they
- 1:07weren't worth very much. And what was happening with this
- 1:11particular client is that they were projecting their standards
- 1:14and how they would treat other people and assuming that other
- 1:18people should treat them in the same way.
- 1:21And of course, not everyone is going to play by the same rules
- 1:24or operate from the same values. So this hypnosis session works
- 1:28in that area. There was also something else
- 1:31going on with this client and that was the quite often if
- 1:34there was a delay or an interruption into something that
- 1:38they were working on, quite often they would just stop and
- 1:42not do anything until that thing was out of the way.
- 1:45And the problem with that is that it was really creating
- 1:48friction and impeding the quality of their life.
- 1:52So how they wanted to respond is to either find a different a way
- 1:58to deal with the same situation or to get to a point where they
- 2:02could do other stuff while they were waiting for whatever the
- 2:05issue is to resolve. This hypnosis session uses lots
- 2:09of metaphor, uses parts integration therapy and other
- 2:14direct suggestions as well, so that they're able to trade these
- 2:20certain expectations for a different paradigm where the
- 2:24expectations get lower, but in return they're able to feel more
- 2:28appreciative when they're. Pleasantly surprised when.
- 2:32People treat them a certain way. When they are.
- 2:34Considerate and they switch the until way of thinking to more of
- 2:40a while way of thinking. So if there is a delay, they can
- 2:43be doing. Other things while.
- 2:45They are waiting, so there's quite a bit going on here.
- 2:48The ideal way to experience this hypnosis session is going to be
- 2:52to find a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be
- 2:55disturbed, to relax and to enjoy the session.
- 2:58But please bear in mind that it was created.
- 3:00For a specific. Individual and not all the
- 3:03suggestions are going to make sense for you on that basis.
- 3:08If you like the idea of having a bespoke session, check out the
- 3:12links in the show notes or the description.
- 3:14There will be a link there where you can book a completely free
- 3:17consultation call to explore working with me, but for now,
- 3:21find a nice place to relax and enjoy the session.
- 3:53Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in a
- 4:01wonderful feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 4:06And as you exhale, feel a wonderful sense of letting go,
- 4:14of releasing tension. That's it.
- 4:18As you breathe out, scan your body for any clues of tension
- 4:26and allow yourself to position your body in different ways that
- 4:36would facilitate deeper and deeper relaxation.
- 4:52And the more. Relaxed you feel the deeper you
- 4:56breathe, and the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you
- 5:01feel. And I wonder if you can start to
- 5:07feel more of that relaxation in the tiny muscles of your
- 5:13forehead or around your jaw. Just feel that sense of drifting
- 5:24inwards to a place that some people call imagination and
- 5:32other people call hypnosis or reflection or reverie.
- 5:40Allow yourself to go to that place, a place where changes
- 5:47happen easier, and I wonder if you could imagine yourself at
- 5:55the edge of a quiet Cliff overlooking a vast ocean.
- 6:08Imagine it being early, gentle, no one around, and the sky is
- 6:17still dim and dark, but far out there on the horizon a soft
- 6:31amber light begins to rise. Imagine feeling the cool breeze
- 6:44and your skin, a sense of steadiness on the rocks beneath
- 6:51your feet. And each breath, your awareness
- 6:58settles deeper into this moment. And maybe you can hear the
- 7:07rhythm of the waves beginning to match the rhythm of your
- 7:11breathing, rising and falling, steady and calm.
- 7:22And as you gaze at the horizon, the first golden rays of the
- 7:28sunrise breakthrough the sky. And you can consider this a
- 7:34birth of a new day, full of potential, just like this
- 7:41sunrise. Maybe you realize that something
- 7:46deep within you is awakening also.
- 7:53As the sun rises higher, it's warmth begins to touch your
- 7:58shoulders, melting away any echoes of lingering tension, and
- 8:09any tightness in your body starts to loosen and soften.
- 8:15Now the golden light moves through your neck, your jaw,
- 8:23your chest and your stomach, and all the way down to your legs
- 8:28and toes. It's as if the sunlight is
- 8:35releasing all tension and inviting in new calm.
- 8:44With every breath, the light grows stronger and your body
- 8:48feels lighter, more open, more free.
- 8:55And with that light, a sense of clarity and calm floods your
- 9:01inner world. Because deep within you, there's
- 9:10a part. A part of you maybe once
- 9:16frustrated when things didn't go to plan.
- 9:18A part that felt disrespected, not listened to, unseen.
- 9:32But I wonder what would happen if today something is different.
- 9:39What if that part of you now learn something new?
- 9:47That delays are not obstacles, they are invitations.
- 9:53Invitations to adapt, to create, to grow stronger than ever.
- 10:02It's possible that every block contains a hidden path and
- 10:07you're learning to find it, that every disruption is simply a new
- 10:15question. What else is possible now?
- 10:26And there is a wiser part of you, patient, calm and powerful,
- 10:34the part that steps forward now gently embracing the part that
- 10:40used to feel triggered in some way.
- 10:46And what if together they integrate, working as one, no
- 10:52longer at war, but in alliance? So much so that when plans
- 10:59change, you no longer resist. You respond when someone acts in
- 11:09a way that could be seen as disrespect.
- 11:13What if the default is to pause and breathe and allow yourself
- 11:17to wonder? What if their intention wasn't
- 11:21to harm, to be rude? But it's just misaligned.
- 11:28They're caught up in their world, no malice at all.
- 11:32And what if that thought softens everything?
- 11:40What if it was possible to find it easy now to find a neutral
- 11:46interpretation, or even a +1? Because you know that your power
- 11:55lies in how you interpret. It's the meaning, not the event.
- 12:03I want you to get a sense then. You now believe that emotions
- 12:11and feelings are not a reflection of what happened, but
- 12:17the meaning that you give the thing that happened.
- 12:23New meanings create new emotions.
- 12:28Obstacles could be a game to set, challenges for you to
- 12:32solve. And instead of waiting for
- 12:36something to happen, imagine being tenacious where you shift
- 12:44and pivot. You ask while I'm waiting, what
- 12:50else can I do or what can I move forward?
- 12:57One door is a door of prevention, hesitation and
- 13:04feeling stuck, and the other door empowerment, tenacity,
- 13:11creativity. So imagine walking through the
- 13:15door you would like, and perhaps in that same door you expect
- 13:22less from others now. Not from a place of cynicism,
- 13:28but from freedom. And by lowering those
- 13:33expectations, it feels like a gift when those expectations are
- 13:40exceeded. And the other way round, the
- 13:44other door feels like an entitlement.
- 13:51But that would require everyone on the planet to know your
- 13:54standards, to know your expectations and be thinking
- 13:59about them all the time. And the more you think about
- 14:04that, the more ludicrous it feels.
- 14:08So that door of lower expectations and more gratitude,
- 14:13more feelings of isn't it wonderful those expectations
- 14:19have been exceeded feels like it's leading you to a more
- 14:24positive future. Future where you feel more
- 14:28resourceful, more creative, more in control of your response.
- 14:37And even when you can't control the situation, setbacks no
- 14:43longer break your stride. Instead, they sharpen your focus
- 14:50as you look out over the ocean. It's now daytime.
- 14:55Sunrise has happened a long time ago.
- 14:59Imagine seeing a sailor on a boat.
- 15:04The sailor doesn't mind what the weather is.
- 15:11Storms, rain, wind, they just adjust the sail.
- 15:21They play their position. They deal with things exactly as
- 15:26they are, not as they want them to be.
- 15:31And feel yourself rising above frustration that you can
- 15:36navigate with wisdom and discernment, looking for
- 15:41distinctions so that generalizations become details,
- 15:49new ways of perceiving things that enrich your life rather
- 15:54than lead to frustration or hesitation.
- 16:00Because you are becoming an emotional alchemist, a master of
- 16:07your own state. So from this day forward, when
- 16:13delays come, especially delays not of your making, you remember
- 16:20the sunrise, the way it always rises, that even if the sky is
- 16:27cloudy, even if there's rain, the sun will always rise.
- 16:35Even if it's not on your schedule, it rises and you rise
- 16:41with it. And you can carry this calm with
- 16:45you, this clarity, this strength.
- 16:52Each challenge, each set back becomes a choice.
- 16:59And the more that you choose powerfully, peacefully, and
- 17:02wisely, the stronger this muscle becomes because you are the calm
- 17:09within the storm and the sun always rises.
- 17:18I want you to think of something that absolutely did trigger you
- 17:21in the past, but now happening in your future, and see that
- 17:26future version of you responding entirely different because of
- 17:31these new perceptions, beliefs and strategies.
- 17:36And if you can see that future version of you managing things
- 17:42in a different way that doesn't hold everything up but more
- 17:50encourages tenacity, creativity, or the ability to give new
- 17:58empowering meanings to things, you can see that future.
- 18:04Let me know by nodding your head.
- 18:08Step into that new identity, an evolved version of you with
- 18:14thirst. Different ways of thinking now
- 18:18and all the parts required are. Integrated to this.
- 18:22New way. And if an echo of the past comes
- 18:26up and you get triggered, that's just a feedback loop and you'll
- 18:33ask yourself, what different perception or meaning could I
- 18:37have given this thing? So I didn't feel this way.
- 18:42You either win or you learn. And if learning is a win, then
- 18:47you're always winning, always moving forward.
- 18:53Imagine being back on the cliffs, but this time seeing the
- 18:58sun start to set, and as it sets, feel that you're floating
- 19:04back to your physical body now taking all these changes with
- 19:09you. So breathe in through your nose
- 19:14and out through your nose. Just wiggle your fingers and
- 19:19wiggle your toes. Start to connect and calibrate
- 19:22into the here and the now as very soon I will count from 1:00
- 19:27to 10:00 to awaken you. And you will awaken feeling
- 19:33confident, resourceful, but it's tenacious as a gardener that
- 19:41will stop at nothing to keep moving forward.
- 19:47Starting to count. 123 Waking up 456 More alert 7-8.
- 19:53Open your eyes. Open your eyes. 910 Wide awake,
- 19:57wide awake, wide awake. Thank you for.
