  [SPEAKER_00]: One thing to consider is Parker Washington's health, which I'm not sure what Parker Washington's status is going to be moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just a bevy of injuries at the YGC for position throughout the year, Travis Hunter obviously down for the rest of the year with the LCL injury had surgery on that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jacobi Myers traded for about a month ago, Brian Thomas Jr. has missed time throughout the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's been like topsy-turvy wild ride at the YGC for the Jag wars this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He definitely played with good effort on Sunday against the Titans and made a positive impact.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Britain's strange is also a very important receiver for the Jack Wars and is back making a positive impact in the receiving game as well from the Titans spot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Adam Theland, I definitely think of Parker Washington is going to miss time, would make sense, because Parker lines up in the slot a lot, so does Adam Theland.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like you don't have other guys who can't do that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jakobi could line up in the slot a lot, although he's been playing more outside, Brian Thomas Jr. plays more outside, so I think if like Parker Washington is down, which I hope he's not, I really do hope he's not, because such a high impact player for the Jaguars and multiple facets of the game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Adam Theland does make sense, and he just hasn't had a role.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've just haven't been given him snaps and targets and looks and all that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you go back to, I mean, 2024, 2023 with Carolina, he's been effective as whole career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think especially out of the slot later in his career, the whole time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Early in his career, you could really put him anywhere and he could thrive because he was just a stud.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But he's become kind of this slot weapon and I think he could be really helpful for the Jaguars if they unfortunately are without Parker for any lengthy amount of time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It would be kind of just like really another.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Another new piece to their receiver room, and you do have beyond Parker, Jacobi, Britain Strange, Brian Thomas Jr., you do have, obviously, the Army Brown who was a healthy scratch this past week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have Tim Patrick who has been a little bit up and down, but I think he definitely can make some quality plays for you and do some quality things for your offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the Elin could be a fit, and this is also an organization in Jacksonville that has some ties to Minnesota, right, Grant Ydinsky was in Minnesota for a while, and so

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's some sort of relationship there, you would imagine, between great Edensky and Adam Theland.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They did overlap there, and obviously Nick Mullins was in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Minnesota is, well, I don't know how much of a connection there is or there isn't, but they're certainly, they were there at the same time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would hope that the Jaguars don't have to go pursuing Adam Theland because of Parker Washington's injury, but if he is injured for multiple weeks, it might make sense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Theland Theland, in his statement, was obviously thankful for the Minnesota Vikings organization who, you know, he spent most of his career there, but he wants to go play for

  [SPEAKER_00]: a team that could potentially compete for the playoffs, a team that could play into the playoffs, and that is another potential check mark for the jag wars in the Adam Theland camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We know that James Ladsson is not going to sit on his hands if if an opportunity arises to improve the football team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: fourth receiver, behind Parker, and obviously Jacobian in Britain strange as a tie-in, but at receiver, Parker, Jacobian, BTJ, and then you add Dillon as well, who's just a reliable guy who can do a lot of things.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, it is difficult to onboard this late in the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're talking about it's December 1st right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But this guy is the consummate professional.

  [SPEAKER_00]: really helped Bryce Young out a lot in Carolina, helped every single quarterback he worked with in Minnesota, could he be a reliable set of hands, a reliable player to potentially help things out here and stabilize things, even further in the receiver room.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I would probably rather have Adam Theland on the field than Tim Patrick and they're not the same type of player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Patrick brings a bigger, more physical build,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's younger, feelings more proven, but again, you're onboarding with five games left in the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know for sure that it does make sense, and ultimately we'll find out if the Jaguars have interest, but,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Part of the equation certainly is the Parker Washington injury as well and you just hope that you get him back and even if you did bring in the ill and it wouldn't really end up amounting to a whole lot because you have your top three and you have your top tight end as a big time receiver as well.
