- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca, Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we are scrubbing in. It's that scrubbing in life with
- 0:16Speaker 1: my scrubbing in wife.
- 0:18Speaker 2: That's right, it is. We're back. We're in different seats today.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Yeah, our function is a little off.
- 0:25Speaker 2: We'll see it.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Maybe I like this, may it might help. It might
- 0:28Speaker 3: might help with what the pod. Oh, just increase the numbers.
- 0:32Speaker 1: No, it might just like give us some jush to
- 0:34Speaker 1: make give us something crush. Yeah, all right, how you doing?
- 0:38Speaker 1: It's been better?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, we're in.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Different seats because Tanya is germy with a cold over
- 0:45Speaker 3: in the corner.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Germy squirmy, surely.
- 0:49Speaker 3: But she's a dedicated business woman and came to work anyway.
- 0:53Speaker 1: If there's anything that I do, it's work. Yeah, Mark
- 0:59Speaker 1: doesn't seem to I do it for you, Mark, and
- 1:02Speaker 1: I appreciate that because you're a person that if anybody
- 1:05Speaker 1: clears their throat in your general vicinity, you look like,
- 1:07Speaker 1: oh my god, are you sick?
- 1:08Speaker 4: Oh my god. They'll freak out.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like germs.
- 1:13Speaker 5: I'm more of the mindset that sometimes you get sick
- 1:16Speaker 5: in life and you get over it.
- 1:20Speaker 1: But if you can avoid it, why would you not.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I wash my hands vigorously.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I don't wash my hands vigorously.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Well they should.
- 1:26Speaker 5: That's a better option than alienating people around you.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I lean in between the two of you a little, like,
- 1:34Speaker 3: if I have to go somewhere, I'm aware that there
- 1:38Speaker 3: might be sick people there, Like if I get on
- 1:39Speaker 3: a plane, I'm like, there's probably some here with very
- 1:42Speaker 3: contagious germs near me.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But I have to do what I have to do.
- 1:46Speaker 3: If it's like I am feeling really sick and it's
- 1:50Speaker 3: a Monday, and I'm like the podcast I could do
- 1:53Speaker 3: from home or zoom or you know, not infect anyone,
- 1:57Speaker 3: I'm going to stay home. Yeah, that's just a little
- 2:01Speaker 3: bit about me.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Well, if I felt the way that I felt on
- 2:04Speaker 1: Friday and Saturday, I would not be here today for sure.
- 2:07Speaker 1: But I woke up Sunday and I had turned a corner,
- 2:11Speaker 1: which I was very grateful about. So I'm here working.
- 2:17Speaker 3: By the way, this all started because Tanya and I
- 2:20Speaker 3: because she missed me so much. As you recall, last week,
- 2:22Speaker 3: we made dinner plans at our little oh no, not
- 2:26Speaker 3: at the Little Fish Shock about a different, different pace,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and she texts me and like kind of the morning
- 2:33Speaker 3: of Thursday, and she's like, hey, FII if I sound
- 2:37Speaker 3: a little congested, it's just allergies, mind you. I have
- 2:41Speaker 3: been friends with Tanya for eleven years at this point. Okay,
- 2:46Speaker 3: never once has Tanya had allergies.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I'm like, allergies?
- 2:51Speaker 3: What, Like, how do you know there are allergies not
- 2:54Speaker 3: a cold. I go, why don't you take an allergy
- 2:56Speaker 3: pill and see if it clears them up?
- 2:58Speaker 2: That's how you know?
- 2:59Speaker 3: And she goes, well, it's the same symptoms, so if
- 3:01Speaker 3: it clears the allergies, it's going to clear cold correct,
- 3:03Speaker 3: which is not true.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But yes, the whole thing is like these these medications
- 3:06Speaker 1: that you take are symptom relievers. They're not like curing
- 3:10Speaker 1: whatever you have.
- 3:11Speaker 2: They're just like they're just no.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I take xertech for allergies, and then I take other
- 3:15Speaker 3: things when I have a cold.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Such as see I don't I don't dabble in the
- 3:20Speaker 1: medication world as much, not as familiar, but I feel
- 3:23Speaker 1: as though most medications just suppress your what's the word symptoms.
- 3:29Speaker 1: They don't they don't get to the root of the issue.
- 3:32Speaker 1: So like, if I have a cold and I'm taking
- 3:34Speaker 1: mucinex to like get rid of my mucus, I'm not
- 3:37Speaker 1: getting rid of my cold. I'm just getting rid of
- 3:39Speaker 1: the symptoms, which is problematic because then I'll go about
- 3:41Speaker 1: my day infecting others.
- 3:43Speaker 3: But what's causing the cold is the mucus sitting there,
- 3:48Speaker 3: So you're getting rid of the thing that's causing this.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on
- 3:53Speaker 1: this because I'm just not well anyways.
- 3:55Speaker 3: The whole point is that I was like, well, take it.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Take an allergy pill. If it's allergies, you'll you'll feel relief.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And then she goes Robbie, Robbie says, I've never had
- 4:05Speaker 3: allergies before.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Robbie too was like, Babe, you've never had allergies.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm like, I hear about Robbie's allergies all the time,
- 4:13Speaker 3: but never once have you said you have allergies.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And I'm just like, not in the mood to get sick.
- 4:17Speaker 3: So I was like, we're going to push this, and
- 4:19Speaker 3: then she goes, yeah, Robbie's yelling at me to go.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Get back in bed.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm like, what you were going to go to dinner
- 4:25Speaker 1: with me.
- 4:25Speaker 2: When Robbie's fully no. So I'm glad you're feeling better.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I'm glad you turned a corner.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Here's the thing about me. Yeah, what I'm going to
- 4:34Speaker 1: fight tooth and nail to just always be good. You know,
- 4:38Speaker 1: Like if something's like nipping at me, like I'm feeling
- 4:41Speaker 1: a little bit down, I'm gonna do everything that I
- 4:43Speaker 1: can to power through to like not go down. M hm.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But then ultimately Friday I went down. Yeah, I went
- 4:50Speaker 1: down hard. And that times you have to listen to
- 4:52Speaker 1: your what your body needs.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, So you did a lot of resting this weekend.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I mean if Ley was it is,
- 5:04Speaker 1: if Lay wasn't down, it would be me. Okay, because
- 5:09Speaker 1: Lay I did.
- 5:11Speaker 5: You're back in your TV are You got out of
- 5:12Speaker 5: it for like a day or two, but now you're
- 5:14Speaker 5: right back into watching every out of it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: For like a day or two, I was dabbling in
- 5:18Speaker 1: the thoughts of like coming up with a hobby before
- 5:21Speaker 1: bed instead of TV.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Oh I didn't.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I didn't even hear that. It was a quick stint,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because then a day later I went down and watch
- 5:31Speaker 1: a lot of TV.
- 5:32Speaker 2: What hobbies were you looking into getting.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Into looking into like, uh, what is it? Stitching? Not crochet,
- 5:41Speaker 1: but like where you were you No, not knitting, but
- 5:43Speaker 1: like you make like beautiful images with needle point. You know.
- 5:50Speaker 4: I don't know what that's like.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I know what you're talking about. It's yeah, anyone, Oh
- 5:58Speaker 1: my gosh, it's on the tip of my hung like
- 6:01Speaker 1: where you have like a picture, like let's say it's
- 6:03Speaker 1: a tree and may get with out of threads, different
- 6:06Speaker 1: colored threads.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what you're saying.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Crochet. No, it's not because that's like a beanie.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I know.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So I was gonna I was attempting that or maybe
- 6:14Speaker 1: like an adult coloring book.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Of sorts I love.
- 6:17Speaker 3: I have some good Rex with some good markers if
- 6:19Speaker 3: you need that.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Because I found that I've just become addicted to television
- 6:23Speaker 1: like crossticks another word in there, because cross stitch wasn't
- 6:29Speaker 1: what I was embroidered.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Ordering is what I was saying.
- 6:33Speaker 1: No, is the same thing, far harder I think than
- 6:37Speaker 1: it's similar. Oh really, Yeah, I found that I was
- 6:41Speaker 1: getting addicted to television. I didn't like this addiction where
- 6:44Speaker 1: it was taking me. Okay, so I wanted to yea
- 6:47Speaker 1: curb that with another hobby before bed. Didn't even get
- 6:51Speaker 1: there because.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Like, what are you supposed to start a new hobby
- 6:55Speaker 3: while you're sick.
- 6:55Speaker 2: That's not realist.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I know, I know. So the sickness really came at
- 6:59Speaker 1: a bad time. Was wanting to make myself better and
- 7:01Speaker 1: then it just took me back down.
- 7:03Speaker 3: If I could recommend puzzling, absolute bliss, oh like word puzzles.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Nope, just a classic puzzle, I don't know.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I don't know about that.
- 7:13Speaker 3: A jigsaw puzzle you just to puzzle, you guys, A
- 7:16Speaker 3: five hundred piece puzzle. I thought a jigsaw puzzle is
- 7:21Speaker 3: like a like really complicated shapes or something.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I thought there was what you're saying, a box puzzle pieces.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I want something I could do in bed.
- 7:32Speaker 3: So you can get a table and then you you
- 7:35Speaker 3: can put this thing on top of it so it
- 7:37Speaker 3: say it does nothing moves, and then you can slide
- 7:39Speaker 3: it under your bed.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you could sit in bed and together.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I don't hate this now, I'm telling you
- 7:48Speaker 3: it is therapeutic.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. I don't hate that idea now.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Okay, So we're in between cross stage and puzzling if
- 7:57Speaker 3: she can escape the addiction. Yeah, okay, do you ever
- 8:00Speaker 3: put your TV timer on? No, maybe there's a start there.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You've given yourself a certain amount of time that it
- 8:07Speaker 3: shuts off.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Not sure, somewhere far away. The problem is it's not
- 8:12Speaker 1: so much turning it off, is like it's just running
- 8:14Speaker 1: through my head at all times, you know, like I
- 8:16Speaker 1: want to come back and see, like did they figure
- 8:18Speaker 1: out who the killer was?
- 8:19Speaker 5: You know?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, addiction is like running through my veins.
- 8:23Speaker 2: What about reading?
- 8:25Speaker 3: I mean reading? I know you get that same high. Yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 3: you're wondering what's going to happen, and then you're.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Also to sleep. It makes me sleepy. So your no, no, no, no,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I want some good time in that bed before I sleep.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Well, you just gotta do what you gotta do.
- 8:43Speaker 5: You know.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That's just a little bit about me. Yeah, you know, so.
- 8:47Speaker 2: You did a lot of laying. What'd you watch over
- 8:49Speaker 2: the weekend?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I watched that new Sophie Turner show.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Steal What's that?
- 8:55Speaker 1: On uh Amazon Prime?
- 8:57Speaker 2: It was good?
- 8:58Speaker 1: It is so good, like so good. So I watched
- 9:03Speaker 1: it with Robbie, which was a bad call. Because I
- 9:06Speaker 1: couldn't keep watching it without him. He wanted to obviously
- 9:10Speaker 1: watch it, and I all I wanted to do on
- 9:11Speaker 1: Saturday was just watch more TV and he was like
- 9:14Speaker 1: living life and I was like, when are you coming home?
- 9:18Speaker 1: I want to keep watching Steel. So I had to
- 9:20Speaker 1: like wait for him, Otherwise I would have binged it
- 9:23Speaker 1: all in one go.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Can't you just watch it and then watch it again
- 9:26Speaker 2: with him?
- 9:27Speaker 1: No, because he'll see Yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 3: But can't you just be like I want to watch
- 9:31Speaker 3: it and then I'll sit and watch it with you.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You can't do that in a relationship. That's like cheating.
- 9:37Speaker 3: No.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I don't think it's like cheating.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It is like cheating.
- 9:41Speaker 5: No.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Like if you told him, like I really want to
- 9:43Speaker 3: watch it and then I'll watch it with you when
- 9:44Speaker 3: you get.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Home, he'd be so upset.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Oh well, okay, No one wants to watch something.
- 9:50Speaker 1: That someone's already seen.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Yes, that you're not experiencing together.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Oh okay, is this an US thing?
- 9:58Speaker 3: No? I Haley probably would feel the same way as you, guys.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I'm not like super into I don't get into shows
- 10:05Speaker 3: that deeply, So like if she watched it a bit, okay,
- 10:08Speaker 3: I'll just watch it on my own time.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I would never never and Robbie would never ever.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of respect there.
- 10:17Speaker 1: There's a lot there's a lot of respect for the
- 10:19Speaker 1: TV shows. Okay, okay, Yeah, so you were waiting for that. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I was waiting for him to come back from doing
- 10:26Speaker 1: all the housework. On Saturday, I watched Beauty, The Beauty,
- 10:31Speaker 1: The Ryan Murphy.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Show, Okay, And.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I like the the I like the concept, I like
- 10:38Speaker 1: the concept. Is a lot going on for me to.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Follow Ryan Murphy Show.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Ever, I'd give it like a six out of ten.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's quite high.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yeah, because I liked it. Okay, will I continue? I'm
- 10:53Speaker 1: not sure it's no steal? Okay, okay, which really is
- 10:58Speaker 1: your recommendation steals my recommendation? The week?
- 11:00Speaker 2: And did you watch the Grammys?
- 11:02Speaker 1: I did watch the Grammys? Did you I did?
- 11:05Speaker 2: Mark?
- 11:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I watched them. I thought they were a little
- 11:07Speaker 5: snoozy this year.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Yeah, we had the same feeling more snoozy than usual.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think? It was.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Worse news than news?
- 11:16Speaker 3: I wish there was more dancing, Like what to get
- 11:20Speaker 3: Bruno marsh twice and not get to watch him dance?
- 11:23Speaker 2: Was like but like, what are we doing?
- 11:31Speaker 1: I have the same thought, and then I was like, no,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I see.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I felt like it was Aptah and then it was Manchild,
- 11:39Speaker 3: which I'm like, Okay.
- 11:43Speaker 4: The whole airport they built.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I would like to talk about that because is she
- 11:48Speaker 1: foreshadowing something? It seemed so random, too random?
- 11:52Speaker 2: What was random the airport?
- 11:56Speaker 1: What is she foreshadowing some new album? Sc airline is
- 12:00Speaker 1: like some sort of new era of hers, Like, I
- 12:04Speaker 1: don't know. To me, you just felt like too random
- 12:07Speaker 1: to be so extravagant with the set.
- 12:11Speaker 3: No, that's just how we were talking about her production,
- 12:14Speaker 3: Like her budget and production design just crushes.
- 12:17Speaker 2: They most amazing.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Just just just.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Listen, We'll keep an eye out for airline launch.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna be keeping my eyes out.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Serenni Carpenter's new airline coming soon, you never know, and
- 12:33Speaker 3: n it after that until I quite enjoyed Kat's eye.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I really enjoy Olivia Dean's everything. I am obsessed with her,
- 12:47Speaker 3: wanted her to win more. Every time there's a new
- 12:49Speaker 3: another category is like Olivia Dean.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Tinya silence implies that she's not on board Olivia.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I felt the whole medley with the yeah oh you
- 12:57Speaker 1: didn't like it went on forever.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I agree. I thought it was too long too.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah, favorite part of the whole show.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I thought it was fun that they gave everyone their moment. Cool,
- 13:07Speaker 3: but I did it was long because there were so
- 13:09Speaker 3: many of them.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, my other could cut a few out.
- 13:15Speaker 1: To be honest, I mean, to be fair. No, I
- 13:17Speaker 1: mean just in general, like they don't need to have
- 13:19Speaker 1: eight people nominees in every category. It's like, let's rein
- 13:23Speaker 1: it into like four or six.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I felt really horrible for Alex Warren, I know, but
- 13:29Speaker 3: you know what he everyone in that he posted about
- 13:32Speaker 3: it and everyone in the comments.
- 13:33Speaker 2: It's like he's got a lot of support. If anything.
- 13:37Speaker 3: It was like people were like he was singing live,
- 13:39Speaker 3: so it was cool to see.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah. I felt really bad for him too. It was
- 13:43Speaker 1: like I thought it was my TV at first, Like
- 13:46Speaker 1: am I lagging? Like what that's going on here? And
- 13:48Speaker 1: I was like, oh, no, that's his performance.
- 13:50Speaker 5: We know why because he was getting weird stuff in
- 13:53Speaker 5: his ears. Yeah, we have audio of that.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Do you want to hear that?
- 13:55Speaker 2: This is what he was hearing?
- 13:56Speaker 4: This is what he was hearing?
- 13:57Speaker 5: Is he was up suspended above twelve thousand people in
- 14:01Speaker 5: Crypto dot.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Or he got suspended though, Yeah, he was walking out.
- 14:05Speaker 5: We're supposed to be hearing himself performing, and what he's
- 14:07Speaker 5: hearing is it's like.
- 14:18Speaker 4: A double echo situation.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Which one does he follow? I don't know. Yeah, rough, rough,
- 14:24Speaker 1: and like the only one like that messed up?
- 14:27Speaker 3: Really, But I don't know that a lot of people
- 14:29Speaker 3: are singing live, so if anything, you know, in a
- 14:33Speaker 3: sense that it made him stand out because we're like, oh,
- 14:38Speaker 3: he's singing live, but unfortunate for him.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you think of Bieber's performance?
- 14:46Speaker 1: I have a hot take. I'm gonna take him. We
- 14:50Speaker 1: get back, you are.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Anymore. I'm just proud. That's the feeling right now.
- 14:58Speaker 2: It's proud. We're back. We're back, all right. Hot take
- 15:22Speaker 2: about Justin Bieber's performance.
- 15:24Speaker 1: It was my favorite of the night.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Oh, I feel like a lot of I felt like
- 15:28Speaker 2: everyone loved it.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Really Yeah a cold take.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Wait, really go through all those commercials for that. Everyone
- 15:38Speaker 1: loved it. I really talking about everybody's always shading Bieber.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Everybody's always like, oh, what did you see?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Well I didn't see anything, okay.
- 15:48Speaker 3: So a very lukewarm take from Tanya I thought.
- 15:55Speaker 1: It was so cool that he was stripped down, that
- 16:00Speaker 1: it was just him literally stripped down him the vocals.
- 16:03Speaker 1: The only thing I didn't understand was the mirror because
- 16:06Speaker 1: it's supposed to be like a bedroom, like he was
- 16:07Speaker 1: in his bedroom. Hard to say, that's the only thing.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I can't quite like piece together, but like beautiful, perfect performance.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Wow, Okay.
- 16:21Speaker 3: I wanted more personally, like more clothes and less like
- 16:26Speaker 3: more like upbeat. I think, ah, yeah, you wanted to
- 16:32Speaker 3: perform Daisy's.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I would have loved Daisy's or Yukon like not stripped.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Down, stripped down to strip down you don't like, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: just figuratively like.
- 16:43Speaker 2: The whole show.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I wanted more dancing, and I felt like everything was
- 16:48Speaker 3: very non non dancing and I was missing that.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And I just I watch old videos.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Of him performing, and I'm like, I love watching him
- 16:58Speaker 3: dance and perform. So I don't I feel like I
- 17:00Speaker 3: missed that from him because we haven't seen him do
- 17:02Speaker 3: that in so long.
- 17:03Speaker 1: But this is the new Beabs, Well, this is what
- 17:05Speaker 1: this is.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Take as hot, then I miss the old Beabs. But
- 17:11Speaker 3: I he sounded great. I do feel like his voice
- 17:15Speaker 3: is amazing. I thought it was cute watching Haley watch him. Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 3: so I have no like it was. I was just like, oh,
- 17:21Speaker 3: I wish I felt that about everybody, Olivia and Sabrina.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I felt like even dance, I'm like, what.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Is going on? Are they limited to how many moves
- 17:34Speaker 2: they can do?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:36Speaker 3: So yeah, I just that's that's something I felt. I
- 17:39Speaker 3: felt like it was just a little slow snoozy. It's
- 17:41Speaker 3: so long, so long. I wish they did the memorial
- 17:45Speaker 3: stuff a little sooner because by the time they get
- 17:47Speaker 3: to that in the show, I'm just like tired.
- 17:51Speaker 5: You know. I really enjoy the Parade of the Dead
- 17:54Speaker 5: and all these shows, whether it's the Grammys, the Oscars,
- 17:57Speaker 5: the Globes. I enjoy that because I was like, oh,
- 17:59Speaker 5: I forgot that person died, or oh I didn't know that.
- 18:02Speaker 4: I enjoy that, huh. But last night they took out
- 18:04Speaker 4: the big ones.
- 18:04Speaker 5: They took out Brian Wilson, that took out Auzzy Osbourn
- 18:06Speaker 5: and to do their own separate things for them, which
- 18:08Speaker 5: I guess is commendable, but to me, it made the
- 18:11Speaker 5: actual Reba McIntyre performance. It's just a parode of knowing
- 18:15Speaker 5: you've ever heard of I didn't know a single person
- 18:17Speaker 5: they put up there during that because the impactful people
- 18:21Speaker 5: who passed away got their own separate stuff and like
- 18:23Speaker 5: the why why are we even.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Bothering with this, which kind of feels like sad, like oh,
- 18:26Speaker 3: the other people were, Oh.
- 18:28Speaker 5: This guy's a tamboline, this guy is an executive, and
- 18:31Speaker 5: this guy's an agent, and like, yeah, I'm not interested.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Yeah, sorry, they died.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Do we have any controversial feelings of winners or people
- 18:39Speaker 3: not wanting I will say this, you know what. I
- 18:43Speaker 3: know that Taylor Swill always gets a ton of hate
- 18:45Speaker 3: for like being excited and being up and whatnot. But
- 18:48Speaker 3: my god, do we need a little more excitement.
- 18:51Speaker 1: It's only the fans or that's just all fellow fellow.
- 18:55Speaker 3: I'm like, your artist's biggest music awards show in the
- 18:59Speaker 3: world and you're just sat looking like you don't want
- 19:02Speaker 3: to be there.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I agree, I agree with you.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Like, here's my thing. If you don't want to go,
- 19:07Speaker 3: just don't. If it's listen, the way the world right
- 19:10Speaker 3: now is not in a super happy place. But if
- 19:14Speaker 3: you're gonna go, try to bring some joy with it.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Like Lola Young winning, I was so excited to watch
- 19:21Speaker 3: her because she was so unexpectedly like excited about it, yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 3: or she was so she did not expect to win,
- 19:29Speaker 3: so her reaction was so raw and real, and I'm like,
- 19:32Speaker 3: that's the energy I wish that people had when they
- 19:35Speaker 3: want a Grammy. Yea, even bad Bunny winning at the
- 19:38Speaker 3: end and having that moment where he just sat there
- 19:40Speaker 3: and I was so emotional because I'm like that, I
- 19:45Speaker 3: don't know.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it, that's it, You're winning a gard ride.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Young Nuts Dean was like.
- 19:53Speaker 3: In the crowd, was like, yeah, I'm saying the crowd
- 19:55Speaker 3: is just very lame.
- 19:57Speaker 1: You're just like, man like when Taylor's there, she is dancing,
- 20:01Speaker 1: she's standing up.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Peoples on why she's doing that, what she's doing, but
- 20:04Speaker 3: it's like, get.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Up, be excited, celebrate the other people. Yes, I'm with you.
- 20:11Speaker 1: There was an energy that was that was not there.
- 20:14Speaker 1: And I also feel like, look, i feel like we've
- 20:17Speaker 1: been doing a lot of critiquing and I'm not like
- 20:19Speaker 1: a critique train on our on the show, on the Grammys. Yeah,
- 20:23Speaker 1: on the Grammies. Yeah, we're not like, you know, I don't.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Know that anyone's like, oh my god, did you hear it? Back?
- 20:28Speaker 2: Tanya said about the gravy because like a.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Lot of people spend a lot of time and money
- 20:33Speaker 1: and energy and effort into like making these shows. But
- 20:36Speaker 1: I felt like as the ship leader, like I feel
- 20:40Speaker 1: like Trevor Noah didn't even seem like super excited to
- 20:43Speaker 1: be there.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah, and listen again, it's I think there's there's Ah,
- 20:49Speaker 3: it's hard right now to be in this like celebratory,
- 20:53Speaker 3: super excited headspace with where things are right now. So
- 20:56Speaker 3: I I think there's that part of it, obviously, but
- 21:00Speaker 3: I'm more so talking about just like the general excitement
- 21:03Speaker 3: of being nominated and celebrating the music that you've made
- 21:08Speaker 3: in the performances that people put so much effort into.
- 21:11Speaker 1: And here's the saying, Nicki Glazer did it at the
- 21:13Speaker 1: Golden Globes. Did what brought the the energy, the the
- 21:21Speaker 1: she brought little pizzazz?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Well that's I feel like Nikki Glazer has a little
- 21:26Speaker 3: more pizaz personally, Yeah, something.
- 21:29Speaker 4: More than you did.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Clearly, I enjoyed his little bit where he kept sitting
- 21:32Speaker 5: with Bad Bunny trying to get performed.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I enjoyed that you didn't like that, And then the
- 21:38Speaker 1: joke about the discount codes. I was like, oh again
- 21:41Speaker 1: that the discount code. Here's like, you're all rich.
- 21:44Speaker 3: I I appreciate that everyone who puts on the Grammys.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I sat and watched all three and a half hours
- 21:50Speaker 3: of it, so at the end of the day we're
- 21:52Speaker 3: able to have opinions on it. You know what I'm saying, Like,
- 21:55Speaker 3: I'm not I just have so much.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Respect for the Grammys, Like I I really do, like
- 21:59Speaker 1: I really really feel and I think I get what
- 22:01Speaker 1: you're saying that there was this like lack of like
- 22:05Speaker 1: not respect like it's the Grammy.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I kind of felt the feeling I feel is like
- 22:11Speaker 3: is everyone too cool? Like does everyone kind of feel like, uh,
- 22:14Speaker 3: we've been here, done this, like they've already for more.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I think that's why Lady Goga's reaction, You're like it's
- 22:20Speaker 3: endearing because she's won so many Grammys and she still
- 22:23Speaker 3: had an emotional reaction to it. Right.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I don't know, you guys, I just that's.
- 22:28Speaker 1: What I felt, Yeah, as a viewer, as a viewer, and.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I'll be tuning in next year. Get wait, I'm actually.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You know, it's funny. I had this thought of like, man,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I wish I was like involved. I wanted to be.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I was like, put me in, coach, like I had
- 22:40Speaker 1: that feeling like like a hype person.
- 22:43Speaker 3: No.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I was like, I want to be there.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I want to be at the Grammys. I want to
- 22:46Speaker 1: work the Grammys. I want to be like more involved,
- 22:49Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like I was like, I
- 22:50Speaker 1: just kept saying like put me in, like I kept wanting.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I kept having that sentiment of just like, yeah, I
- 22:56Speaker 1: want to be involved. Yeah, next year you should. I'm
- 22:59Speaker 1: not sure are having involved, but I do want to throw.
- 23:02Speaker 5: My hat And you can't manifest it because Tanya was
- 23:06Speaker 5: telling me earlier she's not doing any more of that anymore.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Manifesting no mark.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Is now.
- 23:13Speaker 4: See I'm paraphrasing.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Perhaps it's very much a man thing. You say one
- 23:18Speaker 1: thing and they hear something else, and then it math
- 23:20Speaker 1: comes out of their mouth. Okay, you tell us, Yeah,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm done with the hocus pocus.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Wow.
- 23:28Speaker 1: So I decided that this year, on the first of
- 23:33Speaker 1: every month, I was going to do a cinnamon ritual,
- 23:35Speaker 1: which is where you blow cinnamon into your home the
- 23:40Speaker 1: first of Sorry, yeah, I actually need to chat to
- 23:45Speaker 1: be takes exactly what.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Put cinnamon like the palm of your hand and then
- 23:48Speaker 5: you blow it into your house. Yes, and then you
- 23:50Speaker 5: have to vacuum. I guess at that point, well, you
- 23:52Speaker 5: don't do so much.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Yeah, where did you see this on Instagram?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Or like who who was doing it?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Like who was doing it? You know, like astrology influencers.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Aw.
- 24:09Speaker 1: So the cinnamon ritual is a popular spiritual manifestation practice,
- 24:12Speaker 1: mostly about attracting abundance, prosperity, and good energy. So yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 1: so basically you blow it and it's for wealth, luck
- 24:19Speaker 1: protection in your home. Okay. So I did it on
- 24:23Speaker 1: January first, and then January second. I went into the
- 24:27Speaker 1: er and I decided because I was going to go
- 24:31Speaker 1: do it on Sunday my cinnamon ritual, and Robbie was
- 24:35Speaker 1: like really, I was like, yeah, I want to do
- 24:39Speaker 1: the first of every month this year. He's like, did
- 24:42Speaker 1: you do it January first? I was like yeah, January
- 24:45Speaker 1: was not the best. I was like, he said, please,
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't do this one of the worst months of my life.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah, he said, please not in our home.
- 24:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 1: So you know what, I was like, He's right, I'm done.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I did not do my cinnamon ritual February first, And
- 25:01Speaker 1: if I see it on Instagram. I'm gonna leave it
- 25:03Speaker 1: on Instagram.
- 25:05Speaker 4: What about the twelve grapes.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it anymore.
- 25:08Speaker 4: You did it.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I did it on New Year's Eve. Done with that,
- 25:11Speaker 1: done with it.
- 25:11Speaker 4: So done. Now horoscopes, goodbye. That's it.
- 25:14Speaker 5: No more horoscopes, No more hocus pocus. That would qualify.
- 25:17Speaker 1: No, no, okay, it's going to read the horoscopes you are.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not what you refer to when you for
- 25:23Speaker 4: her focus. But no more enneagram right, because that's not.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Well, that's scientific, isn't it.
- 25:33Speaker 5: I'm not sure all right, but so like but love languages,
- 25:37Speaker 5: that's gone.
- 25:37Speaker 1: No more, No, that stays. That's not hocus pocus.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Okay, no, no, no, no, of course not.
- 25:42Speaker 1: You know what I mean when I say hocus pocus, well, yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 1: your honey jar and yeah, got it right.
- 25:48Speaker 5: And like ingredients, going to see that guy who's spit
- 25:50Speaker 5: into a metal bowl, You're not doing that anymore.
- 25:52Speaker 1: No, I'm definitely going back to him.
- 25:57Speaker 3: She's it's just like, if it involves like ingredients in
- 26:00Speaker 3: the home, she doesn't need to do it. Yes, yeah, yeah, okay,
- 26:04Speaker 3: So no more of the blowing cinement change.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Really, when you think about it.
- 26:09Speaker 5: It's just your New Year's I'm getting a look, it's
- 26:12Speaker 5: just your new Year's ritual.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Listen, I'm with Robbie on this. Like whatever you did
- 26:20Speaker 3: January first? No mos like none?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Yeah, changing it up, you.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Know, maybe pray, maybe just pray.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I've been doing it daily. Thank you, thank you for
- 26:32Speaker 1: that suggestion.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I think that's a beautiful switch daily.
- 26:37Speaker 1: But I hadn't been praying daily and in a minute
- 26:40Speaker 1: a journal. But you're going good? All right, She's back
- 26:44Speaker 1: in action, Okay, back on the knees. There were some
- 26:47Speaker 1: responses for your noisy neighbors.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Are they moved out?
- 26:50Speaker 1: By the way I think they are?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Okay, No, you haven't heard anything.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I haven't heard a thing, and I haven't seen cars
- 26:55Speaker 1: parked in front in like a couple of days. I
- 26:58Speaker 1: do think they did move out.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Mark, do you want to read something? Responses from Alie.
- 27:03Speaker 5: She said, maybe Tanya's neighbors have been hearing her for
- 27:05Speaker 5: months and months and this is the way of telling
- 27:07Speaker 5: her that they can hear her. They're moving, so they
- 27:10Speaker 5: wanted to let her know before you go. Walls are
- 27:13Speaker 5: thin that way, now you know before you have new neighbors.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Really nice, It sounded kind of over the top, like
- 27:19Speaker 5: maybe they were just putting on a show to let
- 27:20Speaker 5: you know that this is something we can hear.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Wait, Mark and I did get a chance.
- 27:24Speaker 4: To hear, and yes, Tanya played a definitely.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Did sound like what she assumed was happening. Yeah, thank you, Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: thank you for the validation.
- 27:34Speaker 5: If you're looking for warding to address the noise issue
- 27:36Speaker 5: with neighbors, try this. Remember when both of our cars
- 27:39Speaker 5: got banged down the street. Well, I promised myself if
- 27:42Speaker 5: I heard anything else, i'd reach out. Turns out I
- 27:44Speaker 5: heard you getting banged in your home? Can you hear
- 27:46Speaker 5: us too? It's not bad?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Can you hear us too?
- 27:50Speaker 1: It was so funny, so crazy. Yeah, you know, when
- 27:54Speaker 1: I played it out, the scenario of like how you
- 27:57Speaker 1: do that? How I would do it, it did make
- 27:59Speaker 1: me a little quel.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 1: So then I thought maybe an anonymous like letter would.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Help anymous I'm your neighbor.
- 28:09Speaker 1: It's got yeah, but I'm hoping they think it's the
- 28:13Speaker 1: other side.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Well, you don't have to worry about it anymore. But
- 28:18Speaker 3: I do think it's a It was a good lesson
- 28:20Speaker 3: of knowing that you can be heard, but quite loudly.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, it was definitely a lesson. It was a
- 28:28Speaker 1: lesson that took note. I took note, and windows will
- 28:35Speaker 1: be shut when when that time comes.
- 28:40Speaker 3: What did you think about Harry styles appearance last night
- 28:43Speaker 3: at the Grammys?
- 28:44Speaker 1: I thought, whoever works with the Grammys and put that song?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Whereas my husband as he walked out on stage was genius. Genius.
- 28:56Speaker 1: That's the level I need, the level of thoughtfulness, Yes, genius. Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 1: what you thought he looked bad that he looked back? Yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I kind of missed his old hair.
- 29:10Speaker 3: But I mean, I don't think I think he's so cute.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I don't think he can look bad. There's just something
- 29:14Speaker 3: about It's his aura though. It's like he's physically attractive, obviously,
- 29:19Speaker 3: but there's something about him that's that's what makes him.
- 29:23Speaker 1: The aura gives.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's got it. Yeah, and he knows it.
- 29:27Speaker 1: He knows it.
- 29:28Speaker 3: But the fans are outraged by his ticket prices, Yes,
- 29:32Speaker 3: they are. Basically it's kind of the Taylor Swift thing, right, So.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I haven't actually gone on to purchase tickets for this show,
- 29:41Speaker 1: so I don't know.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Well, they sold out in twelve minutes, so I don't
- 29:46Speaker 4: think that.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Makes sense that you aren't able to get on there
- 29:48Speaker 1: and look.
- 29:49Speaker 5: Yeah you don't waste your time now, but prices didn't
- 29:52Speaker 5: slow people down clearly, clearly.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my thing I have.
- 30:00Speaker 3: I feel I don't like that the artists get like this,
- 30:05Speaker 3: the brunt of their tickets being expensive.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Because who but who decides that?
- 30:11Speaker 2: I'm sure?
- 30:12Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if if they have I'm
- 30:14Speaker 3: sure at a certain extent they do have a say,
- 30:17Speaker 3: but if they have someone that's going, hey, people are
- 30:20Speaker 3: people are gonna buy these regardless of what the cost is.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Do you want us to cap them or not? Like,
- 30:26Speaker 3: I don't know, I guess for someone to do that,
- 30:29Speaker 3: it's a very integrity based move to make sure your
- 30:37Speaker 3: fans are just like everything's you know, capped. Yeah, But
- 30:41Speaker 3: at the same time, our world doesn't our world system
- 30:44Speaker 3: doesn't actually work like that, you know what I'm saying, right,
- 30:47Speaker 3: And people buy tickets and then they have all these
- 30:49Speaker 3: resale sites and it's like people are just desperate to go,
- 30:53Speaker 3: so they're spending the money. But I just think it's
- 30:56Speaker 3: like making it about the artist being a bad person
- 31:00Speaker 3: and are like, you know what I'm saying.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Right, Because who knows how involved he was.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I guess bad Bunny did have his Red Bunny.
- 31:08Speaker 5: All of the shows he did in Puerto Rico, which
- 31:09Speaker 5: were many, were between thirty five and two hundred and
- 31:12Speaker 5: fifty dollars. All tickets were in that range.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it is kind of crazy to imagine a
- 31:17Speaker 3: ticket price being more than two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Yes, and all food was below ten dollars.
- 31:22Speaker 1: But if you think about it, I feel like there
- 31:24Speaker 1: are tiers because like when we were getting our tailor tickets,
- 31:27Speaker 1: if you're getting front row, I feel like some of
- 31:30Speaker 1: those front row tickets were like thousands.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Like in the tens of thousands. Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but then as you go back, yeah, the tickets
- 31:38Speaker 1: in the back. But what I appreciate about Taylor's show
- 31:41Speaker 1: is that her screens were so big that I feel
- 31:44Speaker 1: like like that's the whole thing is like she made
- 31:47Speaker 1: it to where even if you had a really high
- 31:50Speaker 1: up seat, you could still see. Yeah.
- 31:54Speaker 3: But I think the thing is is with ticket prices
- 31:56Speaker 3: right now, because they're so competitive that even if you're
- 31:59Speaker 3: in the noseble, you'd.
- 32:00Speaker 1: See they're like one hundred and fifty bucks.
- 32:01Speaker 2: They're so expensive. Yeah, and you're like, wait, I'm I'm.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Just trying to get yeah, yeah, space.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but yeah, I guess there, And I guess when
- 32:14Speaker 3: you hear about people like Bad Bunny doing it, that's
- 32:17Speaker 3: why it's kind of like a call to other artists, like, no,
- 32:19Speaker 3: wonder if.
- 32:20Speaker 5: It's easy to do that in Puerto rican or somewhere else,
- 32:22Speaker 5: because maybe you're not under the thumb of Ticketmaster.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I don't know how that right, and like how.
- 32:26Speaker 1: The taxes and stuff. Well, I guess, I don't know.
- 32:30Speaker 5: Artists have tried to fight the Ticketmaster thing for years
- 32:32Speaker 5: and years and they've always failed.
- 32:33Speaker 4: So I don't know.
- 32:34Speaker 5: If Ticketmaster doesn't have doesn't reach into Puerto Rico, I
- 32:37Speaker 5: don't know.
- 32:37Speaker 4: I don't know how any.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Of this works.
- 32:38Speaker 5: But good for Bad Bunny and I was very happy
- 32:40Speaker 5: to see that.
- 32:40Speaker 1: You want Yeah, me too, think of that.
- 32:43Speaker 5: When you're starting out as a musician in Puerto Rico,
- 32:46Speaker 5: you don't envision one day winning Album of the Year
- 32:49Speaker 5: at the Grammys, especially since there's never been an Album
- 32:51Speaker 5: of the Year that wasn't in English. Yeah, that's just
- 32:53Speaker 5: an incredible accomplishment.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I just was so good. He there has been
- 32:59Speaker 1: so much scuttle with the Super Bowl stuff.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and it just felt so beautiful to watch him
- 33:07Speaker 3: when multiple times and it's.
- 33:08Speaker 5: He's having a moment like Kendrick had his moment last
- 33:11Speaker 5: year one record of the year.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I didn't realize the super Bowl was next weekend, like
- 33:15Speaker 1: either he's seeing a little a little ditty or something,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and I was like, oh no, it's like literally in
- 33:21Speaker 1: a few days.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Yeah, back to back, that's right. Happy, So happy for him. Okay,
- 33:30Speaker 3: we're gonna take a Oh what do you have?
- 33:33Speaker 1: Have you been seeing the Margot Robbie and Jacob Alordi stuff?
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yes, we should talk about it. Yeah, okay when we
- 33:39Speaker 3: come back.
- 33:59Speaker 2: We are back. Okay.
- 34:01Speaker 3: So, Margot, Robbie and Jacob Lordi are in Wuthering Heights
- 34:05Speaker 3: together and there has been a lot of mutual love
- 34:10Speaker 3: shared between them on this press tour.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yes, what are your thoughts on it? What are your
- 34:16Speaker 1: thoughts on it?
- 34:16Speaker 3: Oh?
- 34:17Speaker 2: You storry you brought it up.
- 34:18Speaker 4: We'll give us the details.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Well, I feel like this pertains mostly to you because
- 34:22Speaker 1: you have a fiance in the entertainment industry, so like, well,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I'll explain. So they are starring in Withering Heights, which
- 34:33Speaker 1: looks amazing. It's in theaters February thirteenth, right before Valentine's Day. Genius.
- 34:40Speaker 1: But as they've been doing all this press, I'll just
- 34:42Speaker 1: basically give you the cliff notes. Margot Robbie got them
- 34:46Speaker 1: these like matching signet rings that have this inscription on them.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are
- 34:53Speaker 1: the same. Jacob Alordi decorated her trailer in Roses on
- 34:59Speaker 1: Valentine's from Heathcliff, which is his character in the movie,
- 35:03Speaker 1: and along with several other things like Margot Robbie said
- 35:07Speaker 1: that she's like codependent on him on set. I mean,
- 35:10Speaker 1: the list goes on and on, but that's kind of
- 35:12Speaker 1: the gist of it.
- 35:13Speaker 2: And her husband.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Margot's husband serves as an executive producer in the.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Film correct, which means he's met Jacob. I'm sure he
- 35:22Speaker 1: knows Jacob.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Well, listen, this is a press stour, and.
- 35:28Speaker 3: I feel like people have seen the way that it
- 35:32Speaker 3: ramps up the hype for the movie, regardless of what
- 35:34Speaker 3: PA about it.
- 35:36Speaker 1: And Ariana like their their codependency on each other. I
- 35:39Speaker 1: feel like became its own thing.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Well, it's like Sidney Sweeney and Glenn pwell, you know,
- 35:44Speaker 3: like ramped up the chemistry for the movie, thinking that
- 35:48Speaker 3: they have this like love, even if it's a platonic
- 35:51Speaker 3: love in real life.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I don't know why it hits different because she's married
- 35:55Speaker 1: to me.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Same but her husband being in a executive producer, he's like,
- 36:02Speaker 3: I feel like he's.
- 36:02Speaker 2: In on the game.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It's like, hey, you just sell this movie, baby. I
- 36:06Speaker 1: just feel like Marmo Robbie is so above that, do
- 36:09Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like she she's such a
- 36:12Speaker 1: mega famous superstar, Like she doesn't need to just like
- 36:16Speaker 1: create something to people for people to watch the movie,
- 36:20Speaker 1: do you know what I mean?
- 36:21Speaker 2: I think everyone's doing this now though. Really yeah, I
- 36:25Speaker 2: feel like.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Even you know, it's interesting because I've been watching all
- 36:29Speaker 3: the interviews with Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien, which they
- 36:32Speaker 3: have like talk about like this friendship and this bond
- 36:35Speaker 3: that they have, but it feels very platonic, Like it's
- 36:38Speaker 3: not worded in like a super romantic way, but it's
- 36:42Speaker 3: this going on press tours together and having these I'm
- 36:46Speaker 3: so jealous chicks in the office got to interview them.
- 36:49Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so happy for y'all and also
- 36:52Speaker 3: just seething with jealousy.
- 36:54Speaker 1: The movie looks really good actually so scary, Yeah, a
- 36:57Speaker 1: good scary.
- 36:58Speaker 2: But yeah, I.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Feel like that's just what people are doing to hype
- 37:02Speaker 3: up movies, because now I think it takes a little
- 37:05Speaker 3: more to get people to go to the theaters because
- 37:08Speaker 3: I think a lot of people because.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Opening weekend is everything for these movies, right, and then
- 37:13Speaker 1: people a lot there's a lot of people, like the Marks
- 37:15Speaker 1: of the World, who just wait till things come out
- 37:17Speaker 1: on streaming.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's like this push to be like, I
- 37:21Speaker 3: need to go see what all this is about.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yeah, which I do want to see what all this
- 37:26Speaker 1: is about, you know what I mean?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, But because now if it was me.
- 37:33Speaker 3: And it was Haley and Margot Robbie talking about how
- 37:37Speaker 3: codependent they were on each other, I would be like, let.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Me get in on that.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I don't even not like it. I don't think it
- 37:46Speaker 1: would be very hard. Yeah, I think.
- 37:48Speaker 3: I think her husband being a part of all of
- 37:50Speaker 3: it makes me go, oh, he's.
- 37:53Speaker 1: But I'm wondering if there's this part of you, if
- 37:55Speaker 1: you're an actor and you're supposed to be so deeply
- 37:57Speaker 1: in love for this role, there's a part of you
- 38:00Speaker 1: that has to disassociate from your real life and become
- 38:05Speaker 1: in love with this character that you're playing and the
- 38:08Speaker 1: person that they love. Like that's also like kind of freaky.
- 38:12Speaker 3: No, I mean yeah, I think that's why it's like
- 38:17Speaker 3: Brandelina happened. And you know, it's like, you get two
- 38:20Speaker 3: of the hottest people in the world on a movie
- 38:22Speaker 3: set having to be in love with each other.
- 38:25Speaker 2: What could go wrong?
- 38:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 38:26Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, so it's got God's strongest soldiers are
- 38:30Speaker 3: the people dating and married to these movie stars.
- 38:35Speaker 2: These stars.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, of those, I couldn't handle it even
- 38:40Speaker 1: I remember Robbie has a coffee meeting with a client.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm like, woo, just a Faber.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Is in that music video.
- 38:49Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know, I Haley did that. Yeah, so yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 3: bless up. I'm excited to see the movie. I hope
- 38:56Speaker 3: it's amazing.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I think it is going to be amazing.
- 38:59Speaker 2: I really do.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Hope it is, because I've I've been very excited to
- 39:04Speaker 3: see it.
- 39:05Speaker 1: How's your pickup basketball league going? Oh?
- 39:09Speaker 4: Great?
- 39:09Speaker 3: I played last week. It was super fun. Just one
- 39:13Speaker 3: of the girls brought me basketball shoes.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Okay, so.
- 39:18Speaker 3: The first time I played, I was just in my
- 39:20Speaker 3: regular clothes and sneakers and not because I don't like
- 39:25Speaker 3: I am capable of getting clothing and gear for myself.
- 39:30Speaker 3: But I was like, I'm just gonna go check it
- 39:31Speaker 3: out where what I have? And everyone's like.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Hey, I have some basketball shoes that you that people
- 39:37Speaker 1: have sent me.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I'll bring them for you. Like feeling could tell that
- 39:39Speaker 3: they're feeling bad.
- 39:40Speaker 1: For me because do they stick to the floor.
- 39:42Speaker 3: The basketball shoes are way easier to play in on
- 39:45Speaker 3: a basketball court because you're not sliding around so much.
- 39:48Speaker 3: So Ray brought me some shoes that shoe was sent
- 39:52Speaker 3: and they were my size. So I had basketball shoes.
- 39:55Speaker 3: I felt way more like a hooper.
- 39:56Speaker 2: They were like, wow, Becca's slowly.
- 40:00Speaker 1: They're coming up, basketball player.
- 40:01Speaker 2: They were like, next, we got to get you some shorts.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Do you play tomorrow too?
- 40:05Speaker 3: No, I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow with whom Haley and
- 40:12Speaker 3: In two of her employees.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Yeah, are you jealous?
- 40:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm excited though, so I'll get my exercise in.
- 40:21Speaker 5: This is a good time A year ago, it is. Yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 5: there's not a lot going on there. Kids are in school,
- 40:26Speaker 5: a lot of family don't plan a lot of trips
- 40:28Speaker 5: in February from around the country. So yeah, it's pretty
- 40:30Speaker 5: good time to go.
- 40:31Speaker 2: It's gonna be hot, though it's hot in.
- 40:33Speaker 5: You're beating weekend President's Day weekend.
- 40:35Speaker 1: You know what. I actually, this girl that I met
- 40:38Speaker 1: is getting married in March, and she was this March
- 40:42Speaker 1: and she was asking me about getting married the month
- 40:45Speaker 1: of March, and you know what, I wanted to give
- 40:48Speaker 1: just a little pro tip to anybody that's out there
- 40:50Speaker 1: maybe perhaps planning a wedding. Uh huh, Becca, March is
- 40:57Speaker 1: a really excellent month to get married because May, June, July, August, September,
- 41:05Speaker 1: or like the wedding months, everybody is like going to
- 41:08Speaker 1: wedding after wedding, they usually kind of just like pile
- 41:13Speaker 1: on right. So unless you're like in the very forefront
- 41:15Speaker 1: of those months, people get wedding fatigue. Okay, in March,
- 41:21Speaker 1: there's not a lot of weddings going on. People usually
- 41:24Speaker 1: travel around the holidays, and then they don't in January
- 41:27Speaker 1: and January that it was the longest month of the year.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Everybody always says it. February people don't really travel either,
- 41:32Speaker 1: and so they're like fresh out of like wanting to
- 41:36Speaker 1: just have like a good time in March.
- 41:40Speaker 3: We were also looking at the least humid months in
- 41:44Speaker 3: certain areas where we are thinking about, and it was
- 41:48Speaker 3: like basically December through April, so we were thinking March
- 41:53Speaker 3: we had. I mean, there wasn't anything about your wedding
- 41:56Speaker 3: that I didn't feel was a good choice.
- 41:59Speaker 1: But I think the destination part of it was like
- 42:01Speaker 1: an important factor because people hadn't been away, like you
- 42:07Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like people aren't people aren't really
- 42:09Speaker 1: doing much. January and February, they were especially ready to travel.
- 42:12Speaker 1: They were freshly ready. They wanted to they were ready
- 42:14Speaker 1: to get away. They wanted to get away come May, June, July, August.
- 42:18Speaker 1: People do get a little bit of wedding fatigue because
- 42:22Speaker 1: there's so many well.
- 42:23Speaker 3: We're like not trying to be overly hot anywhere, so
- 42:27Speaker 3: the summer's out much okay, unless we go somewhere that
- 42:31Speaker 3: doesn't have a.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Well in La like May is quite nice.
- 42:34Speaker 3: M hmmm, yeah, I don't know that La is my
- 42:36Speaker 3: wedding destination. My wedding communication just sharing anyways, for anybody
- 42:41Speaker 3: that is, for anyone who's I'm there in that season
- 42:44Speaker 3: of life.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well that is all.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I will say.
- 42:48Speaker 3: You know, I wanted to talk about Bad Bunny speech
- 42:51Speaker 3: when he said, you know, there is a lot of
- 42:54Speaker 3: hate going on.
- 42:55Speaker 1: In the world.
- 42:56Speaker 3: It's it's being there, it's visceral, it's very tense, and
- 43:00Speaker 3: it's the only thing that's stronger than hate is love.
- 43:03Speaker 3: And I loved that he said that because it's obviously
- 43:06Speaker 3: something we hear all the time, but it's just a
- 43:09Speaker 3: reminder of like how we speak to each other and
- 43:13Speaker 3: how we perceive people and how we perceive the world.
- 43:17Speaker 3: We don't need more hate going back and forth. And
- 43:20Speaker 3: even though it's really hard sometimes to show love, it's
- 43:24Speaker 3: it's the only thing more powerful than hate.
- 43:26Speaker 1: True.
- 43:27Speaker 3: So just a reminder of that out there. And I
- 43:30Speaker 3: love you all.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I love you all.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Thank you for being here.
- 43:33Speaker 3: We'll be back with the Dear Bonio on Thursday, and
- 43:37Speaker 3: we love you so much.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Love you bye.
