Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Hey everybody,
- 0:05Speaker 1: this is Trista. We are back for a very out
- 0:11Speaker 1: of nowhere episode breaking News. Taylor Frankie Paul is in
- 0:17Speaker 1: the news again and Ben and Ashley are out, So
- 0:21Speaker 1: I'm filling in right now with our producer, Heather, and
- 0:26Speaker 1: we've got a lot to talk about the last twenty
- 0:28Speaker 1: four hours. Some headlines have come out about Taylor, so
- 0:32Speaker 1: we're gonna break it all down and go through what
- 0:36Speaker 1: we have read. We have not talked to anyone involved
- 0:41Speaker 1: in any of the he said she said in particular,
- 0:45Speaker 1: but we're just breaking down what.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Is breaking news for you right here, and obviously the
- 0:51Speaker 2: story is constantly developing, so we will be keeping an
- 0:55Speaker 2: eye out for anything else because I definitely think this
- 0:59Speaker 2: is not the end of this saga, and I think
- 1:01Speaker 2: we're going to be hearing a lot more, probably in
- 1:03Speaker 2: the coming days.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Yeah, unfortunately. Okay, So first article that we've got is
- 1:10Speaker 1: on People and the title is Taylor Frankie Paul's ex
- 1:15Speaker 1: husband Tate Paul files for temporary restraining order. This was
- 1:19Speaker 1: published today June thirtieth, and he filed for a petition
- 1:23Speaker 1: to modify the terms of their divorce and custody agreement,
- 1:27Speaker 1: as well as seeking the temporary restraining order. It says
- 1:32Speaker 1: that Tate filed against Taylor in a Utah court today.
- 1:36Speaker 1: According to court documents obtained by People, the pair, who
- 1:39Speaker 1: share a daughter, Indy and a son, Ocean, were married
- 1:42Speaker 1: from sixteen to twenty two. In addition to his restraining order,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I said this, he filed a petition to modify the
- 1:50Speaker 1: terms of their agreement or their divorce and custody agreement.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And on June third, he was quote, it is saying
- 2:00Speaker 1: my co parenting relationship has been peaceful for the most part.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And I thought this was really interesting that he wrote
- 2:07Speaker 1: in the comments of a live stream hosted by Crew Eaton,
- 2:11Speaker 1: who is Dakota's roommate? Right?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Yes? Who's also? Can I tell this is weird?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Yeah? Please?
- 2:19Speaker 3: He's also a single father and.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Me and my team put him on a reality dating
- 2:26Speaker 2: show for Hulu about three or four years ago.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Isn't that crazy?
- 2:31Speaker 2: This this little reality book right in Utah that keeps
- 2:35Speaker 2: for some reason like connecting with each other. But yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 2: Crewe was on a dating show called Back in the Groove.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Oh okay, that.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Was also We've said his name before that's an Elon
- 2:46Speaker 2: Gale show, so connected back to The Bachelor as well,
- 2:50Speaker 2: right of course.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Small world, Small world, Small world. Okay, So Crewe was
- 2:57Speaker 1: hosting a live stream and he is Dakota's roommate. Dakota
- 3:03Speaker 1: is Taylor's ex as well, and I just find it
- 3:08Speaker 1: interesting that Tate, Dakota, and crew are all chatting, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and I feel like, in my mind it has been
- 3:20Speaker 1: pretty well established. I feel like there's also a lot
- 3:23Speaker 1: of evidence to the fact that there's a lot of
- 3:26Speaker 1: coincidences on Dakota and the fact that it seems like, well,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I shouldn't say the fact, it seems like he just
- 3:35Speaker 1: wants to put out information when it is going to
- 3:40Speaker 1: be the most impactful in ruining Taylor's life. And not
- 3:46Speaker 1: to say that what he puts out there isn't aren't
- 3:51Speaker 1: things that have happened. But I also just feel like,
- 3:54Speaker 1: timing wise, it's really interesting to me that Tate is
- 3:58Speaker 1: talking to Crewe, who is Dakota's roommate, about all of
- 4:01Speaker 1: this stuff, especially when they have been recently talking about
- 4:06Speaker 1: her season of The Bachelorette airing soon.
- 4:09Speaker 2: It is interesting and if you will remember back to
- 4:14Speaker 2: March when Dakota initially filed his protective order, his restraining
- 4:20Speaker 2: order against Taylor. Him and Tate passed in the courthouse
- 4:26Speaker 2: and TMZ snapped a photo of them.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Yep.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And we had our legal expert on after that, and
- 4:33Speaker 2: she said that.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I believe she said that.
- 4:37Speaker 2: That restraining order had already been filed, that Tate had
- 4:41Speaker 2: followed through with that or had put that into motion
- 4:44Speaker 2: back then. So that's what he was doing at the
- 4:47Speaker 2: courthouse as well, was trying to obtain an order of protection.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Maybe because of this comment, like we're seeing, he says that,
- 4:55Speaker 2: you know, for the most part, I'm paraphrasing, but for
- 4:58Speaker 2: the most part, he's saying that his co parenting relationship
- 5:01Speaker 2: with Taylor has been good. So maybe at some point
- 5:04Speaker 2: he dropped that protective order after he went to court,
- 5:08Speaker 2: maybe they were on good terms, but looks like today
- 5:12Speaker 2: he has put something into motion.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It did say. Also, I want to add to that.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It says the last what he said on the live
- 5:20Speaker 1: stream that I haven't said yet is the last few
- 5:23Speaker 1: months have not been so so they were having a
- 5:27Speaker 1: very peaceful co parenting relationship in June third, and then
- 5:32Speaker 1: he said the last few months have not been so
- 5:34Speaker 1: the last few months has been not so. So it
- 5:38Speaker 1: seems like I don't know, I just I just question.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I just question that they're like, wonder if they're ganging
- 5:47Speaker 1: up on her at all, if they have the same mentality.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And also she's been you know, she's put out videos
- 5:54Speaker 1: of her with her kids. They've they bought this go
- 5:57Speaker 1: not like a golf cart, a golf cart. Yeah, I
- 6:00Speaker 1: saw that you've been writing around in the golf cart
- 6:02Speaker 1: and making memories, and it seems like, you know, having
- 6:06Speaker 1: a great summer for all intents and purposes. But I
- 6:10Speaker 1: wonder where this, Like I wonder why the restraining order
- 6:14Speaker 1: was filed by Tate, like what happened, because we obviously
- 6:17Speaker 1: don't have any any information.
- 6:21Speaker 2: As too exactly, we don't have any context to that,
- 6:25Speaker 2: And I think that is probably one of the most
- 6:28Speaker 2: surprising things to me to come out in the last
- 6:31Speaker 2: twenty four hours. We're also going to get into this
- 6:34Speaker 2: rehab stint, because I think that's also surprising. Yeah, but
- 6:38Speaker 2: you know, with the court system and what she was
- 6:41Speaker 2: going through with Dakota, we know that her last you know,
- 6:45Speaker 2: hearing in the custody she got it lifted that she
- 6:49Speaker 2: did not have to have supervised visitation with her son
- 6:53Speaker 2: ever who right now primary custody is with Dakota, which
- 6:57Speaker 2: means Crue the roommate like living together.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And so that was a good sign.
- 7:03Speaker 2: That was like a win for Taylor that things were
- 7:06Speaker 2: starting to maybe go back to some sort of quote
- 7:09Speaker 2: unquote normal for them. And then we also know that
- 7:12Speaker 2: they have another court hearing coming up on July eighth,
- 7:16Speaker 2: which is going to be talking more about this custody situation.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I believe she also got her hours or days increased
- 7:23Speaker 2: of how much she could see him, because at first
- 7:25Speaker 2: it was only like eight hours of supervised visitation, and
- 7:28Speaker 2: then after this last most recent one that also increased
- 7:32Speaker 2: a little bit. So things were looking like they were
- 7:35Speaker 2: going in a positive direction, right, But this last twenty
- 7:40Speaker 2: four hours, we've gotten quite a bit of information. Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah, And let me just say, like I am, I
- 7:51Speaker 1: feel like we always need to give people the benefit
- 7:53Speaker 1: of the doubt, and you never know what's going on
- 7:56Speaker 1: in other people's lives. And you know, she did go
- 8:01Speaker 1: to jail. I don't agree with you know, the things
- 8:05Speaker 1: that have happened that we've seen in a video, But
- 8:08Speaker 1: I also I know her, but I don't know her.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You know, I've met her once, but no one even
- 8:15Speaker 1: if you, even if you're married to someone, you don't
- 8:18Speaker 1: necessarily always know everything about them, right, So I feel
- 8:22Speaker 1: like I've always tried to give her the benefit of
- 8:26Speaker 1: the doubt, and I'm going to continue to do that
- 8:28Speaker 1: until you know, I guess until forever, because I feel
- 8:34Speaker 1: like she is part of our family, and if she's struggling,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I feel like I want to be one of the
- 8:40Speaker 1: people that is on her side that she feels like
- 8:44Speaker 1: she has support from. Because I am very maternal towards
- 8:48Speaker 1: everyone on the show. You know, there are limits, but
- 8:52Speaker 1: I also feel like I just want to give her
- 8:55Speaker 1: the benefit of the doubt. So if she's hurting, I
- 8:58Speaker 1: feel like this next this next article, I feel like
- 9:03Speaker 1: was a step in the right direction. It's been reported
- 9:05Speaker 1: that she entered rehab and it's on people as well.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It says Taylor Frankie Paul voluntarily entered rehab facility and
- 9:15Speaker 1: is committed to getting better. Source says the people around
- 9:19Speaker 1: Taylor want her to get help, So I feel like
- 9:22Speaker 1: that's great. It's a step in the right direction. She
- 9:26Speaker 1: is acknowledging that she needs help outside of what she's
- 9:31Speaker 1: currently getting. And at first I was really confused because
- 9:35Speaker 1: I feel like the social media post or I don't
- 9:40Speaker 1: know the link to it. Basically, it seemed like she
- 9:44Speaker 1: went into rehab today, but I believe she probably went
- 9:47Speaker 1: into rehab last week. And I follow her and she's
- 9:51Speaker 1: been posting like every day. I went back to her
- 9:55Speaker 1: Instagram account and she has posted pretty much every day
- 10:00Speaker 1: in the last week. And of course I do remember
- 10:03Speaker 1: a time though when it went dark, yes, totally, but
- 10:06Speaker 1: also I wanted to say that other people can take
- 10:09Speaker 1: over for her. Of course, you know, so someone else
- 10:12Speaker 1: can be posting for her, it doesn't mean that that's
- 10:14Speaker 1: in real time.
- 10:15Speaker 2: There was a period, though recently. It wasn't the full
- 10:20Speaker 2: dark moment when she like shut down her social media,
- 10:24Speaker 2: but it was very I thought, very convenient. It was
- 10:28Speaker 2: around the exact same weekend that the men from her
- 10:32Speaker 2: season were flown out by Bachelor Nation to go to
- 10:35Speaker 2: that game.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yep.
- 10:37Speaker 2: She then posted an Instagram story saying got to catch
- 10:41Speaker 2: a flight tomorrow or something, haven't packed, and so then
- 10:46Speaker 2: the next day, the next two days, I believe, no posting,
- 10:51Speaker 2: no posting stories, nothing to the grid, nothing, So I
- 10:55Speaker 2: took that as she's shooting promo for her season to
- 11:00Speaker 2: be announced, like she was flown out to LA and
- 11:03Speaker 2: this is this is purely guys hypothetical.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I have no inside information. This is me being a snoop.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I feel like that's what the whole situation was. Those
- 11:13Speaker 2: guys were not flown out to go to a Dodger game.
- 11:15Speaker 2: They were flown out to do some sort of promo
- 11:18Speaker 2: shoot or something. Because there was also tons of footage
- 11:21Speaker 2: of them in a studio setup with like.
- 11:25Speaker 3: A white background and all that stuff.
- 11:27Speaker 2: So unless they were just you know, doing a photo
- 11:30Speaker 2: shoot with each other for no reason, you know, I
- 11:33Speaker 2: think it was all very aligned. But now looking at this,
- 11:37Speaker 2: could that have been the time that she actually did
- 11:40Speaker 2: this very short rehab stint, Because we do know that
- 11:43Speaker 2: she is not in rehab currently as we are recording
- 11:46Speaker 2: this on June thirtieth, all the reports are saying that
- 11:51Speaker 2: she had a stint in rehab, and she has in
- 11:54Speaker 2: people's reporting that she has already left, so we don't
- 11:58Speaker 2: know the duration explicit, But there is the TMZ article
- 12:03Speaker 2: that does go into a little bit more detail as
- 12:06Speaker 2: to how this rehabstant is part of the chain of
- 12:11Speaker 2: connection to some of these other things. It says, basically,
- 12:17Speaker 2: Sorces is close to Dakota tell TMZ Taylor Frankie Paul
- 12:20Speaker 2: allegedly violated the restraining order he has against her multiple times,
- 12:25Speaker 2: once by having a third party reach out to a
- 12:28Speaker 2: third party on Dakota's side to set up a visit
- 12:31Speaker 2: with their son. We're told she was trying to make
- 12:34Speaker 2: up for missing a previous visit while she was voluntarily
- 12:39Speaker 2: in a one week rehabstant for an undisclosed reason. Now,
- 12:44Speaker 2: a source connected to Taylor tells TMZ she's checked.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Taylor tells us she's checked into that facility. Okay.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Now, a source connected to Taylor tells TMZ she checked
- 12:57Speaker 2: into the facility on recommendation from doctor. TMZ is told
- 13:03Speaker 2: that Dakota also thinks she skirted the limits of the
- 13:06Speaker 2: protective order last weekend when she posted an Instagram story
- 13:10Speaker 2: claiming cops were called on her by someone obsessed with her.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw that Instagram story. I
- 13:17Speaker 2: for sure did, and it was one of these ones
- 13:22Speaker 2: that she did was quickly taken down. People in Taylor's
- 13:26Speaker 2: camp think Dakota is running to the cops. Is part
- 13:29Speaker 2: of his never ending campaign of intimidating and harassment, which
- 13:34Speaker 2: can go beyond what is currently allowed in their protective orders.
- 13:38Speaker 2: And Taylor's team also allegedly think that the timing of
- 13:43Speaker 2: his allegations is a little too perfect, considering that, you know,
- 13:47Speaker 2: it was just announced that her season is potentially airing
- 13:51Speaker 2: as of next month.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Again, that's not confirmed either.
- 13:54Speaker 2: That's just what TMZ and everybody else is reporting that
- 13:58Speaker 2: they've heard.
- 13:59Speaker 3: So what we're.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Hearing it sounds like, though, is she's not in rehab,
- 14:04Speaker 2: Whether she went for a week, whether when she got out,
- 14:07Speaker 2: we don't know.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I would think it's not today.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I would think that she's been out because of like
- 14:13Speaker 2: you said, she's been posting quite a bit in the
- 14:16Speaker 2: last few days, so I don't think it's recent.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Let me show you. So she posted on this was
- 14:24Speaker 1: five days ago. This post where she's in a hotel room. Okay,
- 14:29Speaker 1: and the caption says, I'll just leave this as is
- 14:32Speaker 1: dot dot kind of fun to read assumptions on what
- 14:35Speaker 1: people think they know. And so that was around the
- 14:40Speaker 1: time that you said, well, not this could be she
- 14:44Speaker 1: was away. She was, you know, at a hotel. But
- 14:47Speaker 1: they could have filmed this months ago and exactly you know,
- 14:50Speaker 1: you don't really know. But what I find interesting is
- 14:54Speaker 1: that she's right, like, as she's saying, people are just
- 14:58Speaker 1: assuming that they know what the heck's going on. So
- 15:01Speaker 1: I just I mean, we can, you know, obviously, give
- 15:04Speaker 1: everyone the breaking news and everyone, you know, you can
- 15:08Speaker 1: decide what you pull from that information. But I guess
- 15:12Speaker 1: my point is, you know, there's the truth, and there's
- 15:15Speaker 1: like three what do they call it, like three sides
- 15:17Speaker 1: of the truth, my side, your side, and yeah.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Something in the middle. But I'm interested to hear what
- 15:23Speaker 2: your take is because I saw that post as well,
- 15:27Speaker 2: and my interpretation of it was the allegations of the allegations.
- 15:33Speaker 2: My interpretation was that she was reacting to the idea
- 15:38Speaker 2: about her show airing.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I definitely it's what it was about
- 15:42Speaker 1: the show. But that's the funny thing, because she's saying,
- 15:46Speaker 1: it's funny people assume they know what's going on. You
- 15:50Speaker 1: and I both thought the same thing without even talking
- 15:53Speaker 1: about it. But it could be very well related to rehab.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, it.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Very well could be because everybody I know, us on
- 16:01Speaker 2: this podcast, what the biggest shock to us when we
- 16:04Speaker 2: were reporting on that was the fact that everybody was
- 16:07Speaker 2: saying that the show is going to air on ABC
- 16:10Speaker 2: when we were all kind of leaning into the Hulu
- 16:13Speaker 2: camp that that's where it would end up. So that
- 16:16Speaker 2: when I saw that video that she posted, that is
- 16:19Speaker 2: what I thought, like.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Oh, you guys all think you know?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Or maybe the fact that people have been saying that
- 16:25Speaker 2: her and her quote unquote winner like aren't together, or
- 16:30Speaker 2: I know that I myself have speculated that they aren't
- 16:33Speaker 2: together and that it's actually a pr stunt all the
- 16:37Speaker 2: little stuff that they've been doing together as of lately
- 16:39Speaker 2: when it comes to commenting and calling each other. But yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 2: we you're so right in the sense that we're never
- 16:45Speaker 2: going to really know because you don't know when stuff
- 16:49Speaker 2: is recorded. You just don't and nothing, and we don't
- 16:53Speaker 2: live in her day to day life and we don't
- 16:55Speaker 2: have that kind of intel.
- 16:57Speaker 1: No one does and no one will. You know, if
- 17:00Speaker 1: she doesn't want anyone to know, then she's not gonna
- 17:02Speaker 1: want it. She's not gonna tell anybody. Like literally, you
- 17:05Speaker 1: could be like an investigator and be like, ooh, like
- 17:09Speaker 1: there's a tag on her bag, you know, let's look
- 17:11Speaker 1: at the hotel and see where she is, Like, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: just don't know, and why would you spend that much
- 17:16Speaker 1: time like trying to figure it out. We've got another
- 17:30Speaker 1: breaking news article. This one's on US Weekly. Taylor Frankie
- 17:33Speaker 1: Paul's ex Dakota Mortensen calls cops with questions about X's
- 17:37Speaker 1: protective order. This was published yesterday on June twenty ninth,
- 17:43Speaker 1: and it goes on to say that Dakota called the
- 17:46Speaker 1: cops with questions about the ex's protective order and mid
- 17:49Speaker 1: their ongoing custody battle. The Bluffdale Police Department confirmed to
- 17:54Speaker 1: US Weekly on Monday, June twenty ninth yesterday that Mortensen,
- 17:57Speaker 1: thirty three, called the authorities at around ten pm on Friday,
- 18:01Speaker 1: June twenty sixth. According to the police, Mortensen called with
- 18:05Speaker 1: questions about the protective order that he and Paul, thirty
- 18:08Speaker 1: two have regarding two year old son Ever's visitation, specifically
- 18:12Speaker 1: about who can help with the drop off and pick
- 18:14Speaker 1: up exchange. Mortensen wanted to know if the protective order
- 18:19Speaker 1: had been violated. Officers made contact with Paul via a
- 18:22Speaker 1: phone call and gathered statements from all parties involved. The
- 18:25Speaker 1: case was sent to the district attorney. They'll decide if
- 18:28Speaker 1: a violation occurred. So we're just waiting to see if
- 18:34Speaker 1: the district attorney's office will determine if a violation has
- 18:38Speaker 1: occurred or not. And I wonder if it's about like
- 18:42Speaker 1: if we're correct and that she went to rehab, missed
- 18:46Speaker 1: one of her visitations, realized that it might affect her custody,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and tried to have someone pick him up and drop
- 18:56Speaker 1: him off. Who knows what This is all speculation from
- 18:59Speaker 1: me because we have not talked to any sources, but
- 19:03Speaker 1: just reading what has been published. But they do go
- 19:07Speaker 1: on to say cops called. Oh this is the quote
- 19:10Speaker 1: from Taylor where she said cops called on me again
- 19:14Speaker 1: this week? What are the odds? According to a screenshot,
- 19:17Speaker 1: And it's not people, it's one person, the same person
- 19:20Speaker 1: is obsessive. What you already said, Paul and Mortensen have
- 19:23Speaker 1: been involved in an ongoing custody battle Overever following multiple
- 19:27Speaker 1: domestic violence incidents and allegations. Yeah, it just talks about
- 19:32Speaker 1: their the history of what has gone on between them.
- 19:37Speaker 3: And our legal expert.
- 19:38Speaker 2: When she came on and taught, we asked her what
- 19:41Speaker 2: happens if the protective orders are violated in any sense
- 19:47Speaker 2: like what that could mean, and the long and short
- 19:50Speaker 2: of it was really bad, really bad if if any
- 19:54Speaker 2: of this is violated, because everything is pending right now,
- 20:00Speaker 2: like everything when it comes to her child and her visitation,
- 20:05Speaker 2: and you know, so it's it is not good to
- 20:09Speaker 2: violate in any capacity the restraining order, and they were
- 20:14Speaker 2: ordered to not communicate with each other, and that included
- 20:19Speaker 2: Instagram posts. Well it also I don't know about the
- 20:21Speaker 2: Instagram post, but it included like she's not allowed to
- 20:24Speaker 2: contact his family, got and vice versa. That was like
- 20:28Speaker 2: a question we asked our legal expert. And so when
- 20:32Speaker 2: he's claiming and he's calling the police asking about this
- 20:35Speaker 2: third party situation, this is why because however, whatever happened,
- 20:41Speaker 2: he feels that this is being violated. And we know
- 20:44Speaker 2: for a fact that they are not allowed to speak
- 20:47Speaker 2: to each other and they're not allowed to speak to
- 20:49Speaker 2: each other's family gota in terms of this anything to
- 20:53Speaker 2: do with the child. So we'll have to see how
- 20:56Speaker 2: that unfolds. My big takeaway from all of this is
- 21:00Speaker 2: I don't think that the rehab stint was long enough.
- 21:03Speaker 2: It says all we've been seeing is one week as
- 21:06Speaker 2: of right now. Whether it was meant to be longer
- 21:08Speaker 2: than that or not, I don't know. But one week
- 21:11Speaker 2: I think is not enough of intensive care. I know
- 21:16Speaker 2: that you said earlier at the top of this episode,
- 21:19Speaker 2: you know, if she's hurting, you know, I beg that
- 21:23Speaker 2: she is hurting and that she has been crying out
- 21:26Speaker 2: for help four months. She was crying out for help
- 21:30Speaker 2: because we were doing Frankie Friday every week. You know,
- 21:33Speaker 2: even before the while she was still in the filming process,
- 21:38Speaker 2: we were saying, the thing she is posting online is
- 21:42Speaker 2: not good. She needs help. And this was before the situation.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It was very obvious that she was filming both shows
- 21:49Speaker 2: at the same time, she was extremely overworked or what
- 21:55Speaker 2: was happening. So I don't want to beat a dead
- 21:58Speaker 2: horse when I say this, but I really don't think
- 22:03Speaker 2: that the show has been having her best interest and
- 22:08Speaker 2: really looking out for her. And I think that she
- 22:14Speaker 2: has people in her life. It seems like that care
- 22:16Speaker 2: about her. But I don't think she has enough. And
- 22:20Speaker 2: I don't get the sense that she has a strong
- 22:24Speaker 2: team in place of professionals, like a real crisis PR manager,
- 22:30Speaker 2: like a real like really good lawyer, you know, like
- 22:35Speaker 2: I really think she's she's either got the wrong people
- 22:40Speaker 2: in place, or she is blatantly not listening to people.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I think because I think the social media posting is
- 22:51Speaker 2: not necessary.
- 22:52Speaker 3: It really is not.
- 22:53Speaker 2: When it comes to getting the cops called on you
- 22:56Speaker 2: or anything like that is not needing to be on
- 23:00Speaker 2: your platform. He's not posting that stuff on his platform now,
- 23:04Speaker 2: is his roommate his weird roommate. Sure there's not. We
- 23:07Speaker 2: can't control that, right, But she has free will and
- 23:13Speaker 2: she is choosing to post and share things that I
- 23:16Speaker 2: think is damaging to her. It's damaging to her family.
- 23:21Speaker 2: And when I say that, I mean her children and
- 23:25Speaker 2: the people that could see this in the future. I
- 23:29Speaker 2: really think she needs to go to something that is
- 23:33Speaker 2: a longer facility treatment, and she really needs to get
- 23:39Speaker 2: a better grasp on her job is social media. Social
- 23:45Speaker 2: media is not your life. There are plenty of people
- 23:49Speaker 2: in this world with extremely large platforms with a lot
- 23:52Speaker 2: of eyes on them that are ginormous celebrities that have
- 23:56Speaker 2: managed to separate these worlds and put things in place
- 24:02Speaker 2: and barriers so that you're not reading your comments, so
- 24:05Speaker 2: that you're not the one doing all the posting. You
- 24:08Speaker 2: shoot the content you have somebody else post for you
- 24:11Speaker 2: whatever those need to be. I don't think she's doing
- 24:14Speaker 2: that right, and I think that that is a huge problem,
- 24:19Speaker 2: is that she's clearly chronically online and she's consuming not
- 24:24Speaker 2: only this weird narrative that is being put out there.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I'm saying weird narrative because that's how she's interpreting it,
- 24:32Speaker 2: or her team is interpreting it. We don't know if,
- 24:34Speaker 2: like what he's saying is completely factual or not. But
- 24:38Speaker 2: she's absorbing his narrative. She's constantly trying to course correct
- 24:44Speaker 2: and put out her own narrative, then backpedaling by deleting it,
- 24:49Speaker 2: and it's it all comes across as extremely trigger happy.
- 24:54Speaker 2: What's the word I'm looking for. It's not thought through, messy.
- 24:58Speaker 2: It's messy, and it's impulsive. That's the word I'm looking for.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Everything is impulsive.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's interesting that you say that, because remember when I
- 25:11Speaker 1: didn't know who she was, because I hadn't watched Mormon Wives,
- 25:14Speaker 1: And I feel like you used the word messy when
- 25:19Speaker 1: you were describing.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Absolutely that is what she That word is associated with
- 25:24Speaker 2: her for sure.
- 25:26Speaker 1: So that's the only reason that that popped up for me.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Because we're talking. But and I feel like other people
- 25:33Speaker 1: have said that about just about her persona if you will,
- 25:40Speaker 1: if it's real or not whatever on Mormon Wives. So
- 25:44Speaker 1: I just, yeah, I hear what you're saying. I just
- 25:48Speaker 1: feel like she definitely needs people in her corner for sure.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I don't know who those people are. I don't know
- 25:57Speaker 1: if they're provided by ABC or or by Hulu or
- 26:01Speaker 1: by Disney or whatever. I know that for Bachelorette as
- 26:06Speaker 1: a lead, you have access to psychological services, and so
- 26:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel like she has posted a
- 26:18Speaker 1: lot about self care and what she does for her
- 26:21Speaker 1: mental health, and I feel like she has people in
- 26:24Speaker 1: her corner there.
- 26:26Speaker 3: And I want to add to this.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I was really I don't care what people have to
- 26:30Speaker 2: say about this.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I was really happy.
- 26:33Speaker 2: That in the last week she actually did share that
- 26:36Speaker 2: she is on medication. Oh yeah, that too for her depression,
- 26:41Speaker 2: I believe is what she's that's say. You can all
- 26:44Speaker 2: have your own feelings about that, right. That was a
- 26:47Speaker 2: huge move, and that was a huge thing to share
- 26:51Speaker 2: with the world, And so I really do commend Taylor
- 26:55Speaker 2: for being that honest and for really putting that out there.
- 26:59Speaker 2: But again, I feel like she's she's got a couple
- 27:03Speaker 2: of the building blocks, but she's not putting everything together
- 27:07Speaker 2: at the same time. It's like you really got if
- 27:11Speaker 2: you She's at rock bottom. Right, let's say this is
- 27:14Speaker 2: rock bottom. I don't know what how much worse it
- 27:19Speaker 2: can get than having your custody taken away from your
- 27:22Speaker 2: child and the show that you did and put your love.
- 27:26Speaker 1: In your shows.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Yeah, a few shows.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Like you know not airing and one is like maybe
- 27:31Speaker 2: you shouldn't be on this, you know what I mean.
- 27:33Speaker 2: There's like everything kind of going up in flames all
- 27:37Speaker 2: at once. That's when I'm going to be like, take
- 27:41Speaker 2: my phone, I'm going to go away, and I am
- 27:44Speaker 2: going to work on myself because at the end of
- 27:48Speaker 2: the day, I am a common denominator in this equation.
- 27:54Speaker 2: These are the men I've chosen to create life with,
- 27:58Speaker 2: to marry, to continually let back into my life, to
- 28:02Speaker 2: be intimate with. And I have to work on myself
- 28:05Speaker 2: with that. I need to work on myself about how
- 28:08Speaker 2: much I let the Internet and outside voices impact how
- 28:13Speaker 2: I move through this world. Like I am a social
- 28:16Speaker 2: media influencer, but do I need to be bombarded with
- 28:19Speaker 2: all this information. I mean, we said this when everything
- 28:22Speaker 2: was hitting the fan and people were talking so negatively
- 28:25Speaker 2: about her, and we saw her constantly responding to comments.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Reposting things.
- 28:33Speaker 2: We encouraged her to get off of her phone for
- 28:37Speaker 2: a reason. Nobody in this world, none of us regular
- 28:41Speaker 2: people listening or recording this podcast, have ever faced an
- 28:44Speaker 2: influx of negativity like that. That is the kind of
- 28:49Speaker 2: stuff that pushes people over the edge. And she is
- 28:51Speaker 2: a mother, and with all do Taylor, you got to
- 28:56Speaker 2: put the phone down, Like, I don't care if it's
- 28:59Speaker 2: your job.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I hear that. I just feel like it's easier said
- 29:02Speaker 1: than done, Like this is her life, and I feel
- 29:05Speaker 1: like there's also like an addiction there. I mean, there
- 29:10Speaker 1: is being on your phone, recording content, looking at the comments,
- 29:14Speaker 1: reading everything, and I look back when I was thirty.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Well totally, but I'm just saying, like I was thirty
- 29:22Speaker 1: when I was on the show and got off the show,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and it was a total whirlwind. I didn't have social media.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Thank the freaking God, Thank God for that. I was
- 29:35Speaker 1: going to say thank the Gods, but no, I'm going
- 29:37Speaker 1: to say thank God for that because I can't even imagine,
- 29:40Speaker 1: because I would go on those stupid message boards on
- 29:45Speaker 1: ABC dot com and read all the vile things that
- 29:49Speaker 1: people said about me, And now it's just right here
- 29:54Speaker 1: in your hand, like all the time. And so when
- 29:57Speaker 1: you live in that world, I totally I agree with you.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I feel like, yes, could that have been like should
- 30:06Speaker 1: that have been something that she did? Yeah, but I
- 30:09Speaker 1: feel like that that didn't happen, and it's it's better
- 30:14Speaker 1: late than never going to rehab. Who knows what the
- 30:19Speaker 1: what the reasons were behind her leaving, Like maybe one
- 30:24Speaker 1: of the kids got sick and she who knows like
- 30:28Speaker 1: why she would leave.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Maybe she knew she had to be in court on
- 30:32Speaker 2: July eighth, and it was like, I can't commit to
- 30:35Speaker 2: this right now. You know, maybe it was just a
- 30:37Speaker 2: one week thing. We don't know that. And like we said,
- 30:41Speaker 2: this story is developing, so we will be getting more information,
- 30:45Speaker 2: I'm sure in the coming days. But I I really
- 30:49Speaker 2: think she needs something super intensive. I think she needs
- 30:52Speaker 2: to go away for thirty days.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean I don't know enough about like rehab
- 30:57Speaker 1: and places like that to know what is recommended. And
- 31:03Speaker 1: you know, I feel like you're right.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Don't you know, Trista. I'm a doctor, Yeah, this is
- 31:09Speaker 2: just my opinion.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Guys, I don't.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Know, but you know what I'm saying, I don't know
- 31:13Speaker 1: like enough, Like I don't know if they have like
- 31:16Speaker 1: a couple of days program and then a week program
- 31:18Speaker 1: and then a couple of weeks, like what is it?
- 31:19Speaker 3: Like what are the outpatient treatment?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Right, There's all sorts of things that can be done.
- 31:27Speaker 3: I just feel with the constant spiral.
- 31:34Speaker 2: That she just does not have the right people around her,
- 31:38Speaker 2: and she's if she does, she's not listening to them.
- 31:42Speaker 2: There's a combination of things happening here, and I see
- 31:46Speaker 2: it with the posting and then the deleting, like that
- 31:51Speaker 2: is the the sporadic posting not being thought through like
- 31:57Speaker 2: that kind of stuff, and that is bury her.
- 32:00Speaker 3: By the way.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I know you haven't watched the show, but like even
- 32:06Speaker 2: last season, we found out that Dakota slept with somebody
- 32:10Speaker 2: that she'd been hanging out with. Taylor immediately like posted
- 32:14Speaker 2: a video of that girl and wrote a bunch of
- 32:17Speaker 2: stuff on the screen that was like the girl that
- 32:19Speaker 2: you think is your friend, but really she's sleeping with
- 32:21Speaker 2: your baby.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Daddy, Like this is who she is.
- 32:25Speaker 2: And that's why I'm like there's no way that somebody
- 32:28Speaker 2: is advising her to post this kind of stuff. There's
- 32:31Speaker 2: no way somebody's advising her to stay on her phone chronically.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 32:37Speaker 2: And so she's making the steps. It's like she's on medication.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Looks like she has well. She does have a therapist.
- 32:46Speaker 2: She has talked about that, and a doctor advised her
- 32:51Speaker 2: to go to rehab and it looks like she went.
- 32:54Speaker 3: So I think that she's on the right path. I just.
- 33:02Speaker 2: I just am I'm concerned, and I don't know this woman,
- 33:06Speaker 2: but I'm concerned because when I see the amount of
- 33:10Speaker 2: negativity and I'm not even absorbing all of it right
- 33:14Speaker 2: because I'm just searching for it. It's not coming at
- 33:18Speaker 2: me twenty four seven, it's not in my DMS, it's
- 33:20Speaker 2: not in my comments. I can't imagine somebody absorbing all
- 33:27Speaker 2: that negativity about themself and just letting it bounce off.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Oh god, No, it's impossible.
- 33:33Speaker 2: At the end of the day, and she's a mother,
- 33:36Speaker 2: and I want her to have the ability to show
- 33:39Speaker 2: up as the best mom possible. And I don't think
- 33:43Speaker 2: it's possible to be the best mom that you can
- 33:45Speaker 2: be when you're in an influx of negativity like that,
- 33:49Speaker 2: and it's on your shoulders. So I appreciate all these
- 33:53Speaker 2: comments and these articles saying that, like, people are concerned
- 33:56Speaker 2: for her kids, and everybody wants to protect the kids,
- 33:58Speaker 2: and I think that that's great.
- 34:01Speaker 3: We need to protect Taylor too.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yeah, because that protects the kids exactly.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, And like Dakota, you deserve to be protected too.
- 34:11Speaker 2: If you feel like things are being violated in your
- 34:13Speaker 2: restraining order, you have every right to feel and call
- 34:16Speaker 2: the cops and to do those things and to put
- 34:19Speaker 2: things in motion so that you are being protected as well.
- 34:23Speaker 2: We've said it before. These two people are extremely toxic.
- 34:27Speaker 2: They do not need to be together. Unfortunately, they created
- 34:32Speaker 2: life together, and so there is going to be some
- 34:35Speaker 2: sort of connection for now until at least eighteen years old.
- 34:42Speaker 3: That's the truth of it.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Everybody should look at this as a warning sign of
- 34:46Speaker 2: or a warning story of, like.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Be careful who you have children with.
- 34:49Speaker 1: No kids.
- 34:50Speaker 2: I don't mean that, and I don't mean that in
- 34:51Speaker 2: a negative way, like she should feel punished or he
- 34:54Speaker 2: should feel punished, but like no, having a child with
- 34:57Speaker 2: somebody that bond you to someone for a much longer
- 35:02Speaker 2: period of time than a quote unquote marriage could.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Totally and you never know, like if that person is
- 35:09Speaker 1: going to be you know, turn into the best father
- 35:12Speaker 1: or the best mother that you've ever seen, or if
- 35:14Speaker 1: they're just going to be horrible. You know, you don't know,
- 35:17Speaker 1: You can't know, But yeah, it's true. I hope that
- 35:20Speaker 1: for my kids that you know, whoever they choose to
- 35:24Speaker 1: spend the rest of their lives with will be somebody
- 35:28Speaker 1: who they can trust and rely on to be the
- 35:31Speaker 1: best parent possible if they have kids. So yeah, it's heavy,
- 35:36Speaker 1: it's a lot. I just I feel bad for her
- 35:38Speaker 1: living in this world of social media and and not
- 35:44Speaker 1: being able to escape it. I know that you're saying
- 35:48Speaker 1: like she should just escape it. I just feel like
- 35:51Speaker 1: it's just easier said than done, and I feel like
- 35:53Speaker 1: we don't know the full story. I would lead holl
- 35:57Speaker 1: for her to get help, I more than she's already had.
- 36:01Speaker 2: You have to admit, though, that there are big, big
- 36:04Speaker 2: celebrities in this world who totally do not touch social media.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Don't touch it, don't post.
- 36:10Speaker 1: One thousand percent, please, I don't. I stay away from
- 36:13Speaker 1: it because of all other you know, we don't need
- 36:16Speaker 1: to get into that now. But no, I totally get
- 36:19Speaker 1: that there. You don't need social media to be in
- 36:22Speaker 1: the world of entertainment.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Yeah, as an influencer, though, there are things she could
- 36:26Speaker 2: put into motion that would protect her.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I know. But I feel like she is also so
- 36:33Speaker 1: authentically herself and like, yes, the messy part of it
- 36:37Speaker 1: is her, but I think that she's like, you know what,
- 36:40Speaker 1: this is me and you if you don't appreciate it,
- 36:43Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be me. I'm just gonna do what
- 36:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna do, and I don't care.
- 36:47Speaker 3: It's very much that she is, very much that I think.
- 36:50Speaker 2: The big question as we wrap this up is what
- 36:54Speaker 2: do you think this has to do with her season
- 36:58Speaker 2: airing now?
- 36:59Speaker 1: Well, I don't know, because I have always said from
- 37:03Speaker 1: the get go that I wanted when all of this
- 37:06Speaker 1: kind of came out and the show was canceled that
- 37:10Speaker 1: I always hoped that they still would air it, and
- 37:14Speaker 1: I felt like the probability was pretty high because of
- 37:18Speaker 1: all these people who have put so much time and
- 37:22Speaker 1: energy and money into it. I thought there was a
- 37:26Speaker 1: good chance. And then this past week, I feel like
- 37:29Speaker 1: it was Over the past week there have been people
- 37:32Speaker 1: coming out I feel like reality Steve came out with
- 37:34Speaker 1: something and said, you know that he heard that the
- 37:37Speaker 1: show was airing from his sources, which they seem to
- 37:41Speaker 1: be pretty valid or on it. So I was like, okay,
- 37:46Speaker 1: here we go, this is when it's going to air.
- 37:49Speaker 1: And then of course I get the text from you
- 37:52Speaker 1: saying breaking news. Can we get on a podcast? So
- 37:55Speaker 1: I don't know. Again, I come back to the like,
- 37:59Speaker 1: is it coincidence that this is coming out now? I
- 38:02Speaker 1: don't think so personally, but we who knows. So I
- 38:07Speaker 1: don't know if it will it probably should impact the
- 38:11Speaker 1: airing of the show. And we didn't even know if
- 38:14Speaker 1: it would be on ABC, if it would be on Hulu,
- 38:17Speaker 1: if it would be streamed, if whatever. So we're just
- 38:20Speaker 1: going off of conjecture here. But I still hope that
- 38:24Speaker 1: it airs. Maybe maybe, like you're saying, the best thing
- 38:30Speaker 1: would be for it to just be done and then
- 38:34Speaker 1: she can move on with her life, go get the
- 38:36Speaker 1: help that she needs, and just you know, put a
- 38:41Speaker 1: fork in it and be like, Okay, we're done. We're
- 38:44Speaker 1: just gonna move forward. But I don't know. I feel
- 38:46Speaker 1: like there are still people out there who still want
- 38:49Speaker 1: to see the show.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I don't deny that there would be an audience for it.
- 38:52Speaker 2: My humble opinion after today is, as we were leaning
- 38:56Speaker 2: in that direction, I think this is a no now.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And I say that because you guys have to remember
- 39:02Speaker 2: all the branding and the ads and all of that,
- 39:05Speaker 2: and no brand is going to want to be associated
- 39:08Speaker 2: with a lead that has an active restraining two active
- 39:11Speaker 2: restraining orders out against them, and somebody that right now
- 39:16Speaker 2: as we're recording this does not have full custody of
- 39:19Speaker 2: one of their children.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Well wait, can we go back one really quick? So
- 39:24Speaker 1: I feel like the article, yes she had a restraining
- 39:29Speaker 1: order when it came to Dakota, right, and today it
- 39:34Speaker 1: was about Taate right. But what happened is he filed
- 39:40Speaker 1: for a restraining order. He has not been given a
- 39:44Speaker 1: restraining order, so.
- 39:46Speaker 3: It has not been granted. You are right in that.
- 39:48Speaker 1: So that's also what I'm saying about the benefit of
- 39:52Speaker 1: the doubt. What kind of drives me crazy in our
- 39:55Speaker 1: society is that people are automatically thought of as being
- 40:00Speaker 1: guilty when you the burden is on proving guilt and
- 40:06Speaker 1: not proving innocence. So it's been filed, but ore is
- 40:11Speaker 1: a judge going to say, Okay, you get your restraining
- 40:15Speaker 1: order tape, like we still are waiting to hear if
- 40:18Speaker 1: that's if that's what's happening.
- 40:20Speaker 2: You are definitely correct in saying that. And we should
- 40:24Speaker 2: know Taylor's saying that the cops were called again this
- 40:29Speaker 2: week on her, but she was never arrested, she was
- 40:32Speaker 2: never examined, right, so.
- 40:35Speaker 3: You know we have to acknowledge that as well.
- 40:39Speaker 2: My opinion though, as working on the other side of
- 40:43Speaker 2: the camera is, I don't think a show moves forward
- 40:47Speaker 2: with an airing date with all of these question marks
- 40:51Speaker 2: over the lead, pending filed whatever, it does not bode well.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I think for ads, and we know that The Bachelor
- 41:01Speaker 2: Bachelorette loves to do integrations with brands.
- 41:04Speaker 3: I saw the first episode.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I know that there was an integration within the first
- 41:09Speaker 2: five minutes of a brand.
- 41:12Speaker 3: So you can't cut that. You can cut so much out.
- 41:16Speaker 2: But if they were to put the show on ABC,
- 41:18Speaker 2: like it was being rumored, and the ads pull out
- 41:22Speaker 2: that it's not going to happen, They're not going to
- 41:24Speaker 2: air it now, could they drop it on Hulu and that,
- 41:27Speaker 2: you know, ends up being like less of a concern
- 41:30Speaker 2: for them the ad space. I don't know how the
- 41:33Speaker 2: streaming platforms work in that sense. But I do know
- 41:36Speaker 2: that shows on cable, if the ads do not sell
- 41:42Speaker 2: around them, they get yanked or they get dropped in
- 41:45Speaker 2: an hour or hours that nobody's watching, like four in
- 41:49Speaker 2: the morning.
- 41:50Speaker 3: I've you know, seen that happen as well.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I do have to say one more thing. You brought
- 42:05Speaker 1: up something that kind of clicked. I was at my
- 42:09Speaker 1: wedding location and I was watching television. Entertainment Tonight was on,
- 42:16Speaker 1: and my previous manager, his lawyer, was on entertainment tonight
- 42:22Speaker 1: and I found out watching television at my own wedding location.
- 42:28Speaker 1: It hadn't you know, started. We were just there getting
- 42:31Speaker 1: ready for it, that he was going to be suing me.
- 42:34Speaker 2: And so oh yeah, oh yeah, you guys can't see
- 42:39Speaker 2: my face is so shocked right now.
- 42:43Speaker 3: What happened? What was he going to sue you about?
- 42:45Speaker 1: So he was my manager prior to the wedding and
- 42:51Speaker 1: when we were negotiating the contract. He is a manager for.
- 42:56Speaker 3: The wedding special.
- 42:57Speaker 1: For the wedding special, he's a manager, and in LA
- 43:01Speaker 1: and California, as a manager, you are not allowed to
- 43:06Speaker 1: negotiate contracts under the labor commissioner. Okay, So he said,
- 43:12Speaker 1: we had an agreement of a certain percentage all along
- 43:17Speaker 1: what we had had prior, like what you pay managers
- 43:19Speaker 1: to bring you correct brand deals or whatever. They weren't
- 43:23Speaker 1: called brand deals back then, but brand deal's essentially. And
- 43:27Speaker 1: he said, I think we need to bring in an agency.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I had worked with an agency, so we brought her
- 43:34Speaker 1: in and her agency. And because of that, I asked him,
- 43:39Speaker 1: because I'm paying also an agent, are you okay to
- 43:44Speaker 1: split that? And so I am going to continue to
- 43:48Speaker 1: pay you what I've always paid you and then pay
- 43:51Speaker 1: her what I pay you as well. So I'm essentially
- 43:54Speaker 1: paying double, but I'm not going to pay you more,
- 43:58Speaker 1: like using money on this by bringing someone else in.
- 44:02Speaker 1: But I know I need to because legally I need
- 44:04Speaker 1: someone to be able to negotiate this contract for me. Right,
- 44:08Speaker 1: So he just essentially was asking for more money, more
- 44:12Speaker 1: of a percentage of the wedding special. And yeah, I
- 44:17Speaker 1: find out about this at the wedding. Had it aired yet, No,
- 44:23Speaker 1: we're getting ready to film and it wasn't a live show.
- 44:27Speaker 1: They aired it I believe the next week maybe, but
- 44:30Speaker 1: it wasn't a live show. So ABC had time to
- 44:34Speaker 1: be like, well, Trista's manager is suing her in court,
- 44:40Speaker 1: maybe we should pull the plug on this wedding special.
- 44:43Speaker 1: And just because someone was suing me.
- 44:46Speaker 2: So pending litigation being on a television show is actually
- 44:50Speaker 2: something that we ask about, I'm sure early on in
- 44:54Speaker 2: the process. I'm sure, because if you do have pending
- 44:58Speaker 2: litigation and and let's say you end up, you know,
- 45:05Speaker 2: being let's say you're you're the bad guy in this situation,
- 45:08Speaker 2: whatever it is.
- 45:09Speaker 3: That doesn't bode well for totally the show, for the image.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Oh totally. And that's why they do a background check one, I.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Totally does kending litigation come up on a background check?
- 45:20Speaker 3: I don't think it does.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure it does. Are you kidding? Yes? Of
- 45:24Speaker 1: course that's I mean, please, even like applying for college,
- 45:28Speaker 1: like Max had to say, have you ever been arrested?
- 45:31Speaker 1: Have you ever been in trouble at school? You know
- 45:33Speaker 1: all of that stuff. So yes, of course that question
- 45:35Speaker 1: is going to come up on a television show. But
- 45:38Speaker 1: what I'm saying is it came up for me and
- 45:41Speaker 1: I was still given the benefit of the doubt by ABC.
- 45:44Speaker 1: And mind you, this is completely different from what Taylor's
- 45:50Speaker 1: going through because obviously she has had a she has
- 45:53Speaker 1: had a stint in jail because of what happened in
- 45:56Speaker 1: all of this, right so, and there's been controversies around
- 45:59Speaker 1: her whatever. So I get it that there's more background
- 46:03Speaker 1: for her. But also I'm like, just because there's a
- 46:07Speaker 1: file someone has filed for a restraining order doesn't mean
- 46:12Speaker 1: I want to like automatically put her, you know, in jail.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:18Speaker 2: I know what you're saying, and that is important to
- 46:21Speaker 2: note that it's pending, it's not been it's not been granted,
- 46:26Speaker 2: and that's important. But I do think that I do
- 46:30Speaker 2: think that it's difficult to move forward with a lead
- 46:35Speaker 2: when you do have one granted and potentially another one pending.
- 46:40Speaker 2: So that's kind of my stance on it. And again,
- 46:43Speaker 2: like I said, we're going to be following this. It
- 46:45Speaker 2: is developing, and I'm sure we're going to get more
- 46:48Speaker 2: information before the end of the week on this.
- 46:51Speaker 3: But Trista, I.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Really appreciate you breaking news as our og bachelorette who
- 46:59Speaker 2: is way more I will never fully comprehend what it
- 47:04Speaker 2: is to be the face of a television show, to
- 47:07Speaker 2: share your life, you know, with millions of people, and
- 47:10Speaker 2: so that's why it's important that we get to hear
- 47:13Speaker 2: your take on this, because like our listeners, they will
- 47:17Speaker 2: also most likely never understand what that's like. And that
- 47:20Speaker 2: is a unique connection that you and Taylor do share.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah, Yeah, I just I if she's listening
- 47:27Speaker 1: or hears about this, I just want her to know
- 47:29Speaker 1: that I'm I'm pulling for all of us here at
- 47:33Speaker 1: almost famous are pulling for her, and I would just
- 47:37Speaker 1: like to see the headlines go away, breaking news, just
- 47:41Speaker 1: go away.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Breaking news.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Taylor Frankie Paul is on vacation in Hawaii, saving her
- 47:47Speaker 2: best life. Breaking news, Dakota Mortensen is living.
- 47:51Speaker 3: His best life. You know, that's obviously what we all wish.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Yeah, And I just I do want to commend Taylor
- 47:59Speaker 2: if she is listening on putting the Steps in Motion.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Obviously I wouldn't know.
- 48:05Speaker 2: That if she didn't share them on the internet, but
- 48:08Speaker 2: I still stand by that. I don't think she should
- 48:10Speaker 2: be sharing everything as it's happening. I do believe that
- 48:14Speaker 2: you have built an honest connection with your audience, and
- 48:17Speaker 2: I respect it, but I think that this is the
- 48:20Speaker 2: time to put some guardrails in place to protect yourself
- 48:23Speaker 2: because ultimately you need to be the best mom you
- 48:27Speaker 2: can be and I just don't think you can do
- 48:29Speaker 2: that operating as business as usual. But like I said,
- 48:33Speaker 2: we'll continue to cover this And thanks so much for
- 48:37Speaker 2: jumping on Trista for the breaking news.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Thanks everybody for listening. By
