- 0:01Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: How's your tongue?
- 0:05Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I heard so bad. I bit my
- 0:08Speaker 3: tongue so bad last night. I was eating dinner and
- 0:12Speaker 3: talking to my brother at the same time, and apparently
- 0:15Speaker 3: I can't do those two things correctly.
- 0:18Speaker 4: It bled for.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hours, sick hours.
- 0:21Speaker 5: I taste pennies.
- 0:22Speaker 3: It happened at like five point thirty, and I brushed
- 0:25Speaker 3: my teeth at eight o'clock to go to bed, and
- 0:27Speaker 3: I was still spitting out loads of.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Spit, like red, like straight up.
- 0:32Speaker 3: I bit well, No, I know, apparently I have very
- 0:36Speaker 3: thin blood, but I do not recommend biting your tongue.
- 0:40Speaker 4: It hurts a lot. I was eating. It was a
- 0:43Speaker 4: healthy plate. It was cucumbers, tomatoes. I know. I was
- 0:46Speaker 4: just trying to get it done quick.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I was trying to get out of your mouth.
- 0:49Speaker 3: It was gonna buite me back like I was just
- 0:51Speaker 3: like into it. But it hurts so bad, and even
- 0:54Speaker 3: I woke up this morning because I had to.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Take ibuprofen last night. It hurt so bad.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I woke up this morning and it still hurts. So
- 1:01Speaker 3: if it's hard for me to spit out words today,
- 1:03Speaker 3: it's because I can't.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I just did.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I don't know what happened.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It's time of play.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Get ready for that.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's a mile eye hype. You're the local stuff today,
- 1:14Speaker 2: Happy birthday? How can this be? Jersey Mikes has ended
- 1:20Speaker 2: Chick fil A's eleven year rain as America's uh top
- 1:26Speaker 2: fast food restaurant. It's like an American customer satisfaction index.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Because those peppers, what's what the peppers?
- 1:34Speaker 5: The red peppers spread.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Put on top of that sandwich makes I've.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Never had one.
- 1:38Speaker 5: You had the rosemary palm bread.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I want that now.
- 1:42Speaker 3: The way they level up the real and their vessels
- 1:46Speaker 3: in which they love their sandwiches.
- 1:48Speaker 6: They're pickles, I'm sorry, thousand times better than Chick fil a.
- 1:50Speaker 6: Well makes it so great, crispy or crunchier, much more
- 1:54Speaker 6: like a Grillo's pickle.
- 1:55Speaker 5: And that's the kind of eye.
- 1:57Speaker 2: That's the superior pickle right there.
- 1:59Speaker 5: It's the best.
- 2:00Speaker 7: Well.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I think it was really smart of them to pick
- 2:03Speaker 3: up Danny DeVito as.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Their spokesperson, right because.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Because here's the thing, Jersey Mike's wasn't anything special, and
- 2:13Speaker 3: then they teamed up with Danny DeVito made a very
- 2:16Speaker 3: strong comeback and now they're everybody's favorite.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Those commercials were extremely funny.
- 2:20Speaker 4: They're amazing.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's it could be on point right, Yes.
- 2:23Speaker 4: So I think they just did everything right.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I rolled into a Chick fil A on the way
- 2:27Speaker 2: home yesterday and I grabbed some sandwiches for me and
- 2:29Speaker 2: the kids and some fries. And I'll be honest with you,
- 2:32Speaker 2: the past few times I've had a Chick fil A
- 2:33Speaker 2: sandwich Oh no home, Oh no.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I had someone else told me that the other day and.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It was like, sums up with them. It's different.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I haven't had it in a minute, but every time
- 2:43Speaker 3: I've been through that drive through or into that restaurant,
- 2:46Speaker 3: I'm satisfied.
- 2:47Speaker 4: So like I'm just like, oh maybe I.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Just I don't know, no somethings they're like greasier now
- 2:53Speaker 2: or something.
- 2:53Speaker 5: It was a little squish, I'd agree with that.
- 2:55Speaker 6: And they got rid of the pretzel bun last summer
- 2:57Speaker 6: and that really made me sad because they had that
- 3:00Speaker 6: nice little pretzel bun sandwich. And after that, I was like,
- 3:02Speaker 6: I don't know CFA, Yeah, I don't know.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Well, Jersey Mikes is where it's at apparently, so who's
- 3:07Speaker 2: buying today.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Yeah, oh, I got you.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to give you this quick story really quick,
- 3:12Speaker 2: because I know what Josh is going to be talking
- 3:15Speaker 2: about in sports and this kind of goes with it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Researchers analyze health data and found zero health benefit from
- 3:24Speaker 2: alcohol at any level of consumption. In fact, they found
- 3:29Speaker 2: the risk of death increases even among people who would
- 3:32Speaker 2: be considered moderate drinkers, even those like one glass of
- 3:36Speaker 2: wine at night type people. They say, men who drank
- 3:40Speaker 2: about two alcoholic beverages a day face roughly a four
- 3:43Speaker 2: percent lifetime risk of dying from an alcohol related illness
- 3:48Speaker 2: or injury. Hey, watch me jump off.
- 3:50Speaker 4: This house into this pool, bro, you know it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Study also found that women face greater risk of alcohol
- 3:57Speaker 2: related liver disease than men at similar drinking levels. Watch
- 4:02Speaker 2: my liver jump off the top of his house into
- 4:05Speaker 2: a pool, bro. They're saying, do not drink alcohol. Essentially,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you should probably just cut it all out. And I have,
- 4:13Speaker 2: I really have. I know Katie totally yes, because she
- 4:16Speaker 2: was that person jumping off the room, had a margarita
- 4:22Speaker 2: or a cocktail or sit in.
- 4:23Speaker 4: A long time.
- 4:24Speaker 3: It'll be nine years in September for actually, and so yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 4: And it was kind of this. I always call it.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I forrest gumped it because I just kept saying to myself, well,
- 4:33Speaker 3: I made at this farm as well.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Just keep going.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Because honestly and truly, there are so many good things
- 4:41Speaker 3: about it, not just my you know, energy level and relationships,
- 4:46Speaker 3: but overall health and just the way I retained information
- 4:50Speaker 3: and my skin and my hair like.
- 4:52Speaker 2: So supple all of it. And no duys, no car crashes,
- 4:57Speaker 2: no domestic violence.
- 4:58Speaker 8: Yes, wanted pregnancies again, I'm over here, really went in
- 5:05Speaker 8: uh so?
- 5:06Speaker 4: Yeah, and it truly, you got it made my whole life.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I caught it.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Okay, not another one.
- 5:16Speaker 5: How are you going to celebrate your decade long of
- 5:18Speaker 5: no beer, no alcohol?
- 5:19Speaker 4: I always go out to Chinese food in love.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Yeah, Actually that decade is a huge thing.
- 5:24Speaker 2: You get drunk off the sash one chicken and there
- 5:26Speaker 2: you go, beef broccery, absolutely, that rainbow roll watch out.
- 5:31Speaker 2: We had these little want on things last night with
- 5:34Speaker 2: some uh some I don't know, some sort of sauce
- 5:37Speaker 2: and rice. They they were good. I love that one time. Okay,
- 5:42Speaker 2: all right, So with all that being said, I know
- 5:44Speaker 2: what you have in sports, and they'd be drinking in
- 5:46Speaker 2: Scotland and.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Here unbelievable how much they're drinking. So the Scottish fans
- 5:51Speaker 6: have been making headlines everywhere for the World Cup because
- 5:54Speaker 6: so many of them specifically have kind of congregated in
- 5:57Speaker 6: Boston because that's where their team has been playing right now.
- 6:00Speaker 6: So Scottish supporters are that are attending the FIFA World
- 6:03Speaker 6: Cup matches have created unprecedented beer shortages essentially across.
- 6:08Speaker 5: All of Boston right now.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Sam Adams has been their beer of choice, as multiple
- 6:14Speaker 6: bars are saying last weekend they had to make emergency
- 6:18Speaker 6: Saturday delivery runs all over Boston because they had run completely.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Bar who has been operating in Boston for over thirty years,
- 6:28Speaker 6: sold out entirely on Sunday. The chief operating officer, Noel
- 6:32Speaker 6: Summers said it tripled Saint Patrick's Day sale. Yeah, I
- 6:37Speaker 6: could drink on Saint Patrick's Day okay, and said, hold my.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Barland, my buddy, uh Scotland rob man. He could put
- 6:44Speaker 2: them back. I beg when we're drinking whiskey, he could
- 6:47Speaker 2: put them back.
- 6:48Speaker 6: What's different about them because truly like it's a tough
- 6:51Speaker 6: They can.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Drink like there is no tomorrow and.
- 6:54Speaker 3: You can now drink Bostonians who celebrate maltlic A Tuesday weekly.
- 6:58Speaker 4: You something motherfulness.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Many other bars have said, we have truly never seen
- 7:04Speaker 6: anything like this. The White Bull tavern exhausted all beer supplies,
- 7:08Speaker 6: particularly their tenants Logger, which is Scotland's most popular brew.
- 7:11Speaker 6: So they'd be drinking Sam Adams because they love America,
- 7:14Speaker 6: and then they'd be drinking their home brew right there
- 7:15Speaker 6: because they're like nothing tastes like homes So Boston businesses
- 7:18Speaker 6: are now even prepared for this Riday's Scotland versus Morocco
- 7:22Speaker 6: game in Foxborough.
- 7:23Speaker 5: They're sweating this thing in.
- 7:24Speaker 2: They're rolling kegs in from the street.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Let's go. They they are so worried.
- 7:28Speaker 6: And I love this because they're going viral all over
- 7:31Speaker 6: these different taverns and bars and everything. And no matter
- 7:34Speaker 6: how much beer they're drinking, they're either learning the new
- 7:38Speaker 6: John Denver song or they are like remembering it from
- 7:41Speaker 6: over the cross the Pond. I don't know, but they
- 7:43Speaker 6: are singing John Denver like there's no tomorrow.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 5: They drove a Scottish shanty hammered.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Well. As you head off to work today, be aware
- 8:15Speaker 2: you might be seeing a few more people walking around
- 8:18Speaker 2: or riding a bike. It's today's National Dump the Pump Day,
- 8:22Speaker 2: which encourages people to leave their cars at home, maybe
- 8:27Speaker 2: even hop like a light rail or a bus. Maybe,
- 8:29Speaker 2: I don't know, if you do have to drive, maybe
- 8:31Speaker 2: carpool with somebody. Just less cars on the road. Kind
- 8:35Speaker 2: of a day to give the middle finger to gas stations.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I guess, and dig it you dig it?
- 8:40Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I guess it's so expensive.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I walked in today. I left it, Tue, I left
- 8:47Speaker 2: it in the morning. I made my way in thumb dumped.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I dumped the pump. Today. New Spider Man movie is
- 8:55Speaker 2: coming out called spider Man Brand New Day. I watched
- 8:57Speaker 2: the trailer this morning. I am so to the loop
- 9:00Speaker 2: on all the Spider Man movies. Oh yeah, I don't know.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I don't even know who's Spider Man right now.
- 9:05Speaker 6: I was excited for this one because this is like
- 9:07Speaker 6: Tom Holland's kind of finale.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Oh is that what it is?
- 9:10Speaker 5: Allegedly it brings back all the old Spider Man's too.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Oh no, like the Toby McGuire, see you, I don't
- 9:16Speaker 5: get that whole thing. Andrew Garfield, Well.
- 9:18Speaker 2: It's so different universes.
- 9:20Speaker 5: It's all the Spider Verse, the different world.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Marvel went crazy, but they brought back Toby Maguire makes
- 9:25Speaker 6: a happy Josh.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Okay, so this one, the Hulk's in it, Punisher and
- 9:29Speaker 2: the villain Scorpion. Are we happy about that?
- 9:31Speaker 5: Oh?
- 9:31Speaker 4: Sure, there's more than one Spider Man.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I flipped on Disney Plus the other
- 9:36Speaker 2: day and there was like nine different Spider Man's. I
- 9:38Speaker 2: was like, I don't even know where to start, Like what,
- 9:40Speaker 2: I don't I don't know, So I just turned the
- 9:42Speaker 2: TV off. I went outside.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Honestly, I still thought it was the same Spider Man, though.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I just thought that they kept recasting it to make
- 9:49Speaker 3: it him. Stay young, you know, Toby, you're too old.
- 9:52Speaker 5: No, it's different universe, different universe.
- 9:55Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, there's some Spider Man popcorn books.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Disappointed in me.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I didn't know either, Katie. It's fine. I didn't even disappointed.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Marvel did what they did.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Okay, why wasn't it just Toby Maguire the whole time?
- 10:07Speaker 5: I agree, I agree, we'll probably get bored. He's fifty now, so.
- 10:12Speaker 2: The guy who plays Hulk is like seventy now, Martin Ruffalo, right,
- 10:17Speaker 2: problem with his net doors getting up there? Who else
- 10:21Speaker 2: is there?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Well?
- 10:23Speaker 5: The Gold of Thunder doesn't really get.
- 10:25Speaker 2: With Iron Man. He's getting up there?
- 10:27Speaker 5: He is, Yeah, Robert Downey. Anyway, Marvel needs to look
- 10:30Speaker 5: at us.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And the only movie that really matters is this one
- 10:33Speaker 2: right here. Mike Myers has confirmed that a fourth Austin
- 10:36Speaker 2: Powers movie is happening. Yeah, baby, but no, miny me.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Oh why he did passed away, Katy?
- 10:45Speaker 2: He did enjoyer passed away? Ye oh yeah, I think
- 10:49Speaker 2: he's still.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Dead, Katie. I'll look it up.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I think he's still dead.
- 10:52Speaker 4: My bad.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Sorry, ah, poor Katie.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Kept okay? And then one more thing, This is kind
- 10:58Speaker 2: of funny. Sales of bass point and shoot digital cameras
- 11:02Speaker 2: continue climbing right now as younger customers embrace early two
- 11:06Speaker 2: thousands photography. They like the imperfect look, maybe a little
- 11:10Speaker 2: grainy image, and the fact that pictures don't immediately end
- 11:14Speaker 2: up on social media. It's all part of the reaction
- 11:18Speaker 2: to like getting rid of smartphones and the nostalgia culture
- 11:21Speaker 2: right now. Yeah, and they're going back to those little
- 11:24Speaker 2: point and shoot cameras. I found one of mine in
- 11:27Speaker 2: my basement. The other day, Nicole gave me a point
- 11:29Speaker 2: and shoot camera for my college graduation dating, a really
- 11:34Speaker 2: nice camera, and there's a little SD card in it,
- 11:36Speaker 2: and I was like, okay, what's on this?
- 11:37Speaker 4: So it's still digital. It's not the film.
- 11:40Speaker 2: It's not film. I don't even know where you go
- 11:42Speaker 2: to buy film. I know, probably online somewhere.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I was just thinking, so they like, you know, bringing
- 11:46Speaker 3: it in to get it developed, that's part of their.
- 11:49Speaker 2: This one still says digital digital cameras.
- 11:52Speaker 5: My sister's obsessed with her as she got to.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Every time I see her at a party, she is
- 11:56Speaker 6: holding the digital camera instead of her phone.
- 11:58Speaker 2: So is this your hot sister?
- 12:00Speaker 5: My younger sister of.
- 12:02Speaker 3: His sisters are gorgeous. That's than you're so many? Don't
- 12:07Speaker 3: you pit them against each other?
- 12:08Speaker 4: They're both they both have kids. Know they're both gorgeous.
- 12:11Speaker 5: No, my older sister has three adorable.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Right, Okay, so it's the younger stop.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Stop anyway. I have gotten this my entire life.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I know you're used to have outgrown it, but good for.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Them, though. Do you have pictures of her holding your time?
- 12:28Speaker 4: Okay?
- 12:29Speaker 5: No, I don't have pictures.
- 12:32Speaker 2: What's your name?
- 12:33Speaker 5: I don't even know.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I can't remember, isn't he or something?
- 12:37Speaker 5: Haley or.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Hannah? Which was the younger one? Hannah Hayley's the younger one.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Hey Haley, good morning. Less what you got?
- 12:48Speaker 4: Sweet young ladies too, they are okay.
- 12:50Speaker 3: So we do have an adorable local story starting things
- 12:53Speaker 3: up here with the Lakewood Police Department. So they're getting
- 12:56Speaker 3: a lot of traction on social media right now for
- 12:58Speaker 3: their latest traffic stop.
- 12:59Speaker 4: It is so cute, so they said.
- 13:02Speaker 3: One of its officers recently pulled over a quote speedster
- 13:06Speaker 3: who was caught exceeding the adorable speed limit in his
- 13:09Speaker 3: custom design ride around the street's Lakewood. They put up
- 13:13Speaker 3: a picture of this police officer from Lakewood talking to
- 13:17Speaker 3: a young man who was probably four or five years old,
- 13:20Speaker 3: and he was in a mini McLaren.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Have you been drinking shit?
- 13:24Speaker 4: Is the cutest, cutest picture? Make fun well in the post.
- 13:29Speaker 3: They said his excuse was I had to get home
- 13:32Speaker 3: for a nap.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Then he spit on the officer and they took him down,
- 13:36Speaker 2: and he.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Was very adorable.
- 13:39Speaker 3: The agent just had to issue a sternly humorous warning
- 13:43Speaker 3: for driving the miniature McLaren way too fast for the neighborhood.
- 13:47Speaker 3: But I put that picture up in our stories Jeremy
- 13:50Speaker 3: Katy Josh on Instagram and you can go check it out.
- 13:52Speaker 3: The way he's looking up at the officer like.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I was only going sixty is so cute. It made
- 14:01Speaker 4: my whole day. So make sure you get on a.
- 14:06Speaker 2: We need backup, We need backup.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Did you just grab your panther?
- 14:11Speaker 3: It's oh my gosh, it's adorable.
- 14:16Speaker 4: You have to go check it out again in our.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Stories on Instagram at Jeremy Katie Josh.
- 14:21Speaker 4: No, you want to, you do?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Okay, you also have to go to Rocky Mountain National
- 14:26Speaker 3: Park because according to HAPA, which is an airport transportation company,
- 14:31Speaker 3: they just analyze TikTok and Instagram hashtags across the country
- 14:36Speaker 3: to find the most iconic national parks that have the
- 14:40Speaker 3: best sunsets. Okay, you know we're on this list, Josh.
- 14:44Speaker 3: You know we're in the top five, Jeremy, So number one,
- 14:47Speaker 3: we just got to give a shout out to Arizona's
- 14:49Speaker 3: Grand Canyon National Park. Auditorately a lot of great sunsets.
- 14:53Speaker 3: They are Grand Canyon.
- 14:55Speaker 4: But number two is Rocky Mountain National.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Park, and they say it's really our elevation is what
- 15:02Speaker 3: gives us the number two spot because you get a
- 15:05Speaker 3: straight view of the sunset. I mean you and the
- 15:08Speaker 3: sun are essentially at the same height because twelve thousand
- 15:11Speaker 3: feet is where it peaks out there in Rocky Mountain
- 15:13Speaker 3: National Park. So absolutely stunning sunsets. I can say that
- 15:18Speaker 3: from experience. I love mountain sunsets. They are my absolute favorite.
- 15:22Speaker 6: So well say I like them over beach sunset. Beach sets,
- 15:25Speaker 6: that's beautiful, it really is. But when you see it,
- 15:28Speaker 6: you know.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Cresting over the mountains, there's nothing better.
- 15:30Speaker 3: And we get that pink kind of hue that comes
- 15:33Speaker 3: over the mountain peaks as.
- 15:35Speaker 5: The greenery of the trees gorgeous.
- 15:38Speaker 3: We've had quite a few this week that have been
- 15:40Speaker 3: just stunning here in the city. So if you can
- 15:43Speaker 3: imagine up in Rocky Mountain National Park well deserving of
- 15:46Speaker 3: that number two spot. And then we've just got some
- 15:48Speaker 3: things for you to get in on this weekend. Happy
- 15:51Speaker 3: Father's Day of course to all the dads out there.
- 15:54Speaker 3: And Pike's Peak International Hill Climb will take place this weekend,
- 15:59Speaker 3: so that's a shout out to dad's I didn't realize.
- 16:02Speaker 4: They did that on Father's Day weekend. But have you
- 16:05Speaker 4: ever been to the hill climb?
- 16:06Speaker 5: I have not, where they're just like hiking pikes people, no.
- 16:10Speaker 4: The cars. Yeah, yeah, it's the hill.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Just get a bunch of dads together and they hike
- 16:14Speaker 2: up a mountain.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Well exactly, yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 6: My brother's done that before. You've done there, so I
- 16:20Speaker 6: have Is that your hot brother? Yes, yes, it is
- 16:24Speaker 6: my hot brother, Jake.
- 16:27Speaker 4: That's good. That's funny. What up, Jake?
- 16:29Speaker 3: Okay, So, and then there's other things for you to
- 16:32Speaker 3: check out as well. Because Strawberry Days in Glenwood Spring,
- 16:36Speaker 3: what is this?
- 16:37Speaker 4: This is something I have been to.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And if you can imagine strawberries take over the whole town.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I mean they have a parade, All the restaurants have
- 16:45Speaker 3: some kind of strawberry theme dish that they serve. People
- 16:48Speaker 3: walk around rested as a strawberry. It's a good time.
- 16:51Speaker 4: If you've never been up to Strawberry Days and Glenwood Spry.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Guess just one place I'm not gonna be this weekness.
- 16:58Speaker 2: It's not this Well, my strawberry costume is a dry
- 17:01Speaker 2: cleaner right now.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Unfortunately, Oh, I forgot. You have that phobia with strawberries too.
- 17:06Speaker 3: That's probably not I do for you, JERBYO.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Right with all the little holes in them.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Oh you don't like the strawberries, don't bother me?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Oh I thought it was.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Now.
- 17:14Speaker 2: The things that bother me with strawberries is when they
- 17:16Speaker 2: do those things where they put them in like a
- 17:18Speaker 2: bowl of vinegar, a little vinegar and water, and all
- 17:21Speaker 2: the bugs come out of them. Oh yeah, that's what
- 17:23Speaker 2: gets me with strawberries like that. It's surprising how many
- 17:26Speaker 2: little little insects or in strawberries.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Okay, well they're not going to put any of these
- 17:29Speaker 3: strawberries in water and no bugs allowed.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Bood springs eight days, okay, okay, I'm back check it out,
- 17:35Speaker 4: and then one more.
- 17:36Speaker 3: We just want to give a shout out to Juneteenth
- 17:38Speaker 3: because festivities, oh my gosh, all weekend, the big one
- 17:41Speaker 3: in Denver because now they made it a three day festival,
- 17:44Speaker 3: so all along the historic five Points area. It kicks
- 17:47Speaker 3: off Tomorrow night with the DJ music, all kinds of
- 17:50Speaker 3: fun stuff, and then it continues through Sunday.
- 17:52Speaker 4: So June teeenth looks like a really.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Long weekend for a lot of people to Friday again.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Absolutely, so go live it up, have some fun, get
- 17:59Speaker 3: your straw very.
- 18:00Speaker 1: On h Jerry, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Now Katie is our resident couch potato on the show,
- 18:10Speaker 2: and she's got another Netflix recommendation, but she got our
- 18:13Speaker 2: little potato. Okay.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I do my part, guys, just saying I am so
- 18:18Speaker 3: sucked into this show sixty days in have you heard
- 18:22Speaker 3: of it?
- 18:24Speaker 4: Okay?
- 18:25Speaker 3: So it is essentially regular people who are going undercover
- 18:30Speaker 3: in prison, all right, so they are.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Attention, I know, I know.
- 18:36Speaker 3: So what it is is they're actually attempting to eliminate
- 18:39Speaker 3: like rival gangs, drugs, and corruption within their facilities.
- 18:43Speaker 4: So it is like the cops.
- 18:45Speaker 3: And the sheriffs and the people who are within the
- 18:47Speaker 3: prison system who set all this up, and they have
- 18:50Speaker 3: regular normal people spend sixty days in the prison trying
- 18:54Speaker 3: to figure out what's wrong with it so that they
- 18:56Speaker 3: can then correct it.
- 18:57Speaker 4: But the part about that just like blows my mind.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Are the people who volunteer to go in there for
- 19:05Speaker 4: sixty days?
- 19:06Speaker 2: Are they like little mousey, like nerdy guys or.
- 19:09Speaker 3: You know, immediately I thought it was like, you know,
- 19:13Speaker 3: rich people who have too much money, too much time
- 19:15Speaker 3: on their hands, and they've just run out of thrills, right,
- 19:17Speaker 3: they're like, I'll go into prison for sixty days, it's fine.
- 19:20Speaker 4: But no, it is normal, regular day people. I just
- 19:24Speaker 4: started watching it.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I'm two episodes in and they're focused on this woman
- 19:28Speaker 3: who was a mom of.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Six, and her whole thing is, I'm a mom of six,
- 19:34Speaker 4: I can handle prison. Just wait a minute. I don't
- 19:37Speaker 4: think you know what you're getting yourself into. Is this
- 19:40Speaker 4: you just trying to day exactly?
- 19:43Speaker 3: I think she's just trying to get a vacation from
- 19:45Speaker 3: her family. I don't think she knows what she's getting
- 19:48Speaker 3: herself into.
- 19:49Speaker 2: But they actually put them, like in the cell and yeah, they're.
- 19:55Speaker 4: For ten prisoners. They have a backstory when they go in,
- 19:58Speaker 4: Like this woman who's a mom of six.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Her backstory is she ran over her ex husband and
- 20:02Speaker 3: that's why she's in prison.
- 20:05Speaker 4: So they have a backstory.
- 20:07Speaker 2: They go in, why did she run over it?
- 20:08Speaker 4: No, she did it.
- 20:09Speaker 3: That's just that's her backstory. It's her fake backstory to
- 20:13Speaker 3: go in and be a part of. That's what she
- 20:15Speaker 3: tells all the other inmates.
- 20:17Speaker 4: But they do a strip search, like they're cavity searching hers.
- 20:20Speaker 4: She goes into this thing, so it is no they
- 20:23Speaker 4: have to do everything. Where do I sign up Netflix?
- 20:26Speaker 3: You can go watch it on Netflix, but they're doing
- 20:29Speaker 3: it in No where do I sign up Arizona? So
- 20:32Speaker 3: it's in Arizona. So if you want to be a
- 20:34Speaker 3: part of it, you just go ahead and a Penal County,
- 20:38Speaker 3: Pinal County, Arizona or Pinal County.
- 20:40Speaker 4: I don't know if I'm saying that right, but it's a.
- 20:44Speaker 3: But it's filmed around the clock, so they're constantly filming
- 20:48Speaker 3: these people.
- 20:49Speaker 5: They don't get shame.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Yeah, but it is in.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I get stuck touch. I should sign up for this
- 20:58Speaker 2: plea would you be gone if you did this?
- 21:01Speaker 4: To thirty to sixty days is the time frame.
- 21:03Speaker 5: I don't think you could do I don't think you could.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Come out all jacked whatever.
- 21:10Speaker 5: I think a lot of people go to prison and
- 21:12Speaker 5: get fatter.
- 21:12Speaker 4: I know I would not.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You wouldn't, Okay, that would be possible.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Is you have to watch it? Hey?
- 21:21Speaker 2: Okay? So the CPW Colorado Parks and Wildlife reporting an
- 21:26Speaker 2: increase in in vehicle the car versus bear incidents across
- 21:32Speaker 2: the state right now. Wildlife officials are saying drought conditions
- 21:36Speaker 2: in some areas, population growth and expanding suburban development, pushing
- 21:42Speaker 2: bears closer and closer to roads and neighborhoods, and now
- 21:46Speaker 2: people be hitting bears like creepy.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Oh no, not hitting them. I thought they were just
- 21:51Speaker 4: like seeing them.
- 21:52Speaker 2: They're getting hit, like they say. You usually think about
- 21:55Speaker 2: people just tagging deers and elks and things like that.
- 21:58Speaker 2: But I guess the are coming down closer and closer
- 22:01Speaker 2: to town and people keep running into them, and they
- 22:04Speaker 2: say the bears are big and they'll do some serious
- 22:06Speaker 2: damage to your car.
- 22:07Speaker 5: I feel like the bear would be okay.
- 22:09Speaker 3: We No, I'm so sad for the bear. Oh bearing
- 22:13Speaker 3: nanaus like, I'm very sad for them. I didn't know
- 22:16Speaker 3: they were getting hit.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I thought, wasn't there one recently you were talking about, Well,
- 22:20Speaker 2: there was one in Castle Rock that was just like
- 22:22Speaker 2: they had a video of it climbing into.
- 22:25Speaker 4: The Castle Rock police station.
- 22:27Speaker 3: They're parking lot where all their vehicles are stored. They
- 22:29Speaker 3: climbed the fence, got in and just ran across the
- 22:32Speaker 3: parking lot and that was it.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And then they had that he was looking for cocaine.
- 22:36Speaker 3: It's like a cocaine bear Bear Necessities song in the
- 22:39Speaker 3: background playing.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Well, they had the video up. So but yeah, they
- 22:42Speaker 4: are everywhere.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And there are more and more this year because of
- 22:45Speaker 3: the warm winter we had, they woke up early and
- 22:48Speaker 3: they're a lot more just visible this year.
- 22:50Speaker 4: So but I didn't realize that they were getting hit hurt.
- 22:54Speaker 2: What do you do? What's where you're going?
- 22:57Speaker 4: Do we need bear crossings like we have the Do
- 23:00Speaker 4: we need to put up some signs?
- 23:02Speaker 2: Light was flushing, I was crossing. I guess there's a
- 23:06Speaker 2: bunch of posts of people just shooting videos and pictures
- 23:09Speaker 2: of bears running through their neighborhood. A lot of that's
- 23:11Speaker 2: getting posted on the social and somebody actually woke up
- 23:14Speaker 2: to a bear in their hot tub out on their
- 23:16Speaker 2: back Pathos, aren't there? They get a little my muscles
- 23:20Speaker 2: because I was hit by a car exactly. We were
- 23:24Speaker 2: zipping around our neighborhood on our bikes the other day
- 23:27Speaker 2: and we went kind of down into a little ravine
- 23:29Speaker 2: area by like a golf course and it puts you
- 23:32Speaker 2: out by four seventy. So we were riding along four
- 23:34Speaker 2: seventy kind of and as we went down into that
- 23:37Speaker 2: little ravine area, we had to all throw on our
- 23:39Speaker 2: brakes because there was like six deer right there, yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 2: I mean like right there, and we stopped and they
- 23:46Speaker 2: started getting all weird on.
- 23:48Speaker 4: It because you never know what they're going to do.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I mean they look all friendly, right, oh, but you
- 23:52Speaker 2: don't want to they're just sitting there eating their leaves. Yeah.
- 23:55Speaker 2: One of them started like putting his head down and
- 23:57Speaker 2: like going that, well, it's like that whole bring it deer.
- 24:01Speaker 4: If not friend, wife, friend shaped, I know, I just
- 24:04Speaker 4: want to pet you. Why are you so?
- 24:06Speaker 2: And the whole time, you know, I was thinking, like,
- 24:08Speaker 2: what are those scenarios that we talk about all the
- 24:10Speaker 2: time on the air. If I had to fight this deer?
- 24:12Speaker 4: You if you could fight six of them?
- 24:14Speaker 3: Though?
- 24:14Speaker 2: Could I fight this deer? I don't know if they'd
- 24:16Speaker 2: all come at me. I think I think we least two,
- 24:19Speaker 2: so you could. I'd put the bike in front of me,
- 24:22Speaker 2: right yeah, and then I don't know.
- 24:24Speaker 5: They kick though, because they on their hind legs beat the.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Crap out of me. Yeah, they would know a moment
- 24:29Speaker 2: I was like, I could fight that deer right now.
- 24:33Speaker 3: You think you could stand a chance, but you wouldn't,
- 24:35Speaker 3: like they take you out.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Local radio host trampled by deer on the sight of
- 24:40Speaker 2: four seventy and you.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Know, all the other radio people would be like, oh deer.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Okay, it's going so good.
- 24:49Speaker 2: It was, I was having fun. Duncan is rolling out
- 24:55Speaker 2: some new summer items, including its limited edition Barbie Pink
- 25:01Speaker 2: Strawberry Cold Foam. Oh, cold Foam's like a big thing.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Cold foam is having a moment right now, isn't it.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Cold foam is everywhere though, is it?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:11Speaker 4: I'm a fan.
- 25:13Speaker 2: It got some around Thanksgiving. We had like a pumpkin,
- 25:16Speaker 2: yea cold foam or something and you can get it
- 25:18Speaker 2: in the can and you and then you read the
- 25:21Speaker 2: ingredients on the side and you're like, what am I
- 25:23Speaker 2: in my body? I know?
- 25:24Speaker 4: Yeah, didn't need that.
- 25:26Speaker 2: This one says the sweet creamy Topping. You're a creamy
- 25:29Speaker 2: topping can be added to many iced drinks. It appears
- 25:34Speaker 2: in the new offerings such as the Ultimate Pink day Dream,
- 25:38Speaker 2: Double Strawberry Daydream, Pink Mango Daydream, and Pink Cherry Daydream
- 25:44Speaker 2: Refreshers Ox with oat milk.
- 25:46Speaker 4: It says, so different flavors but all pink.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Can you imagine mostly specifically you and me, Josh a
- 25:56Speaker 2: grown man rolling up to Duncan and being like Hey,
- 26:00Speaker 2: give me a large pink cherry Daydream refresher and put
- 26:05Speaker 2: some of that Barbie cold foam on it immediately immediately.
- 26:10Speaker 4: It's so fine. You can get your pink on.
- 26:13Speaker 6: Yeah, tough guys, were pink. Tough guys, drink pink.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Okay, buddy, all right, you know you two pink You
- 26:20Speaker 2: go first.
- 26:21Speaker 7: Us.
- 26:22Speaker 2: You go order and let us know how it is.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It's so good, y'all. Take that pink cherry daydream please
- 26:29Speaker 2: in my diesel truck.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Nitro.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Alright, guys, we'll be backing about two minutes and fifty seconds.
- 26:39Speaker 2: We'll get our fast five on and have some fun
- 26:41Speaker 2: here with JKJ Mix one hundred. So I got this
- 26:44Speaker 2: story here in front of me. We all like snacks
- 26:46Speaker 2: and stuff. How about uh, how about snacking on bugs.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Researchers are finding people who try insect based foods for
- 26:55Speaker 2: the first time often enjoy them more than anticipate. Uh.
- 27:01Speaker 2: This is amongst a group of well, they only had
- 27:04Speaker 2: a sample size of about thirty eight adults who had
- 27:07Speaker 2: never eaten insects before, but they sampled both insect protein
- 27:12Speaker 2: bars and insect cereal bars. While scientists monitored their brain
- 27:17Speaker 2: activity and heart rates and The results showed that they
- 27:21Speaker 2: loved them. They became more attentive and engaged while eating
- 27:26Speaker 2: insect based products. They had increased heart rates and heightened arousal.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Oh what, whoa cricketing?
- 27:36Speaker 2: This is a cereal bar? Oh baby, I had no
- 27:41Speaker 2: idea that you'd have heightened arousal if you're eating insects.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I think I'd enjoy it more if they did make
- 27:47Speaker 3: it a bar or a powder or something, though, Like
- 27:50Speaker 3: I imagine just eating a straight cricket or beat the.
- 27:53Speaker 5: Chocolate covered cricket.
- 27:54Speaker 2: How to grind them up, put them in your Yeah,
- 27:56Speaker 2: protein shapes like.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Cereal and stuff like that.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I could probably get on board with a lot more
- 28:00Speaker 3: than just eating a straight insect.
- 28:03Speaker 4: Yeah and everything.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Researchers are calling the findings very surprising. And you can
- 28:08Speaker 2: mash all sorts of stuff up in there, like yellow mealworms, locusts,
- 28:12Speaker 2: crickets that's been a thing forever, like chocolate dipped crickets
- 28:16Speaker 2: and stuff like that. But you're gonna become more attentive,
- 28:19Speaker 2: and your heart rate's gonna spike, and you're gonna become
- 28:21Speaker 2: incredibly aroused if you eat these insects cereal bars. I
- 28:24Speaker 2: think you come home and your wife's like watching insect videos.
- 28:28Speaker 6: What are you doing?
- 28:31Speaker 4: I'm just watching videos?
- 28:34Speaker 2: What are you watching?
- 28:34Speaker 5: I'm glad I got caught watching insects.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Now, I think it'd be bad.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Like, as long as you name it something fun, I
- 28:41Speaker 3: think people would be on board with it, Like which
- 28:43Speaker 3: part like a protein bar made of crickets, Like we
- 28:46Speaker 3: could call it like a crick cat crick cat. You know,
- 28:49Speaker 3: let's come up with a fun name and people will
- 28:52Speaker 3: be okay eating it.
- 28:53Speaker 4: I think that's part of it, you know.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Do you think do you think?
- 28:58Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, here's where we in. You telling
- 29:01Speaker 2: us about your snack.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Well, I have been eating a high protein snack and
- 29:05Speaker 3: my kid is like grossed out by it. It's not
- 29:07Speaker 3: even gross, it's just a little unorthodox. And it is
- 29:11Speaker 3: my protein bread, which is fabulous, by the way.
- 29:14Speaker 4: I love it.
- 29:15Speaker 3: My peanut butter and then blueberries, not jelly, actual fruit
- 29:20Speaker 3: on the peanut butter. And then I smash it and
- 29:23Speaker 3: I make a sandwich and it is like my favorite thing.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I get protein, I get fiber. But for whatever reason,
- 29:29Speaker 3: my kid is grossed.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Out by it. She's like, why are you putting fruit
- 29:33Speaker 4: in it?
- 29:33Speaker 2: When you could just it's no different than jam or jelly. Yeah,
- 29:36Speaker 2: fruit bas and then you got the peanut butter, and
- 29:38Speaker 2: it's like it's a peanut butter jelly sandwich.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It's got a little bit more texture in it too, right,
- 29:42Speaker 3: because I throw a whole handful of blueberries.
- 29:44Speaker 5: Well, and people do the peanut butter and banana sandwiches
- 29:46Speaker 5: for decades.
- 29:47Speaker 4: And shut up.
- 29:50Speaker 3: But I asked a few other people asked my brother.
- 29:51Speaker 3: I was talking to my brother last night, and I
- 29:53Speaker 3: just like, hey, what do you think about a peanut
- 29:55Speaker 3: butter sandwich? But instead of jelly, you put blueberries in there.
- 29:58Speaker 3: It's like, why wouldn't you just with jelly. That's everybody's
- 30:01Speaker 3: answer to me. I just wanted to ask you, guys,
- 30:05Speaker 3: if you were okay with my peanut butter and blueberry sing.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I'm so fine with it.
- 30:10Speaker 4: I can add crickets and we're even better, right.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Okay, what do you need to tell baby?
- 30:15Speaker 3: No?
- 30:15Speaker 2: No, shut up, shut up? No, I love you.
- 30:19Speaker 1: The fun starts now with Fast five.

- 41:09Speaker 9: No?
- 41:09Speaker 2: No, What do you do for a living?
- 41:12Speaker 12: I work for a cannabis company some potweed?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Huh yeah, Katie, you should get her numbers here. I
- 41:22Speaker 2: always enjoy the funny names of the potweed.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 12: Yeah, sometimes I have to come up with those.
- 41:28Speaker 5: Do you really come up with You need to come
- 41:31Speaker 5: up with.
- 41:31Speaker 12: That sometimes, like if they name it something that's like copyright,
- 41:37Speaker 12: Oh yeah, you have.
- 41:38Speaker 2: To like change it up, the Purple Monsters something.
- 41:41Speaker 4: So what's your favorite name you've come up with.
- 41:43Speaker 2: That you can say on the radio.
- 41:48Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 41:48Speaker 1: I can't think of anything.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It's hard to think quick when you're stoned all the time.
- 41:55Speaker 9: She started offices.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Okay, contact, that's all right. You don't need to tell Sarah.
- 42:03Speaker 2: All right. You do need to think quick. So it's
- 42:05Speaker 2: a good thing you're not stoned right now. Okay, Oh
- 42:10Speaker 2: I got two I kind of like okay, in ten seconds, Sarah,
- 42:16Speaker 2: I need you to give me five things that you
- 42:19Speaker 2: might find on a pirate ship.
- 42:21Speaker 14: Go gold swords, an anchor, fruit, men, pirates, fruit.
- 42:33Speaker 4: And men, sir ship all day. Not really the bounty
- 42:39Speaker 4: of berries.
- 42:40Speaker 2: No, because a lot of pirates died of what is
- 42:42Speaker 2: that scurvy because they didn't have access to fresh fruit.
- 42:45Speaker 2: But that's all right.
- 42:46Speaker 3: She still got another one on top of that. She said,
- 42:48Speaker 3: men and pirates, Yeah, after you, Sarah.
- 42:51Speaker 2: You should you should name some of your pot stuff
- 42:54Speaker 2: after pirates. That'll give you some ideas today.
- 42:57Speaker 13: Okay, I'll write it down.
- 42:59Speaker 2: The anchor, heavy anchor.
- 43:01Speaker 4: You can call it scurvy.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Can't just call one of them scurvy, sunrise scurvy or something. Okay,
- 43:09Speaker 2: So do you know what happens when you win fast five?
- 43:15Speaker 14: You play the happy sound.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I need you to say, Jeremy, play me the winni
- 43:21Speaker 2: wind sound.
- 43:24Speaker 14: Jeremy, play me the winni wind sound.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Sarah, you should name some of your weed the Winnie Win.
- 43:36Speaker 5: That's a good idea, the Winnie Win.
- 43:40Speaker 2: All right, Sarah, you were a lot of fun. Thank
- 43:42Speaker 2: you for calling in today. I'm gonna put you on hold.
- 43:44Speaker 2: We'll come back and tell you how to get those
- 43:45Speaker 2: tickets to Red Rocks to go see a j R.
- 43:48Speaker 2: All right?
- 43:49Speaker 14: Cool? Thank you, Thank.
- 43:50Speaker 4: You, Sarah Boom.
- 43:52Speaker 2: That's how we neither name.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Jeremy, Katie and Josh six one hundred.
- 43:59Speaker 2: All right, coming up right around oh eight twenty eight
- 44:02Speaker 2: twenty five ish, we're gonna be opening up the phone lines,
- 44:05Speaker 2: letting you guys call in and sound off and talk
- 44:07Speaker 2: about your dad's and Sunday's Father's Day, and a lot
- 44:11Speaker 2: of us have Tomorrow off because of Juneteenth. We're gonna
- 44:14Speaker 2: talk about dads today and like all those fun little
- 44:17Speaker 2: things that your dad used to tell you growing up.
- 44:19Speaker 2: He know, dad isms, little dadisms, little stories, little tidbits,
- 44:23Speaker 2: little things that Dad used to say, and you're like,
- 44:25Speaker 2: whatever Dad Metil says. What were some of Dad's famous sayings.
- 44:30Speaker 2: We want to talk about that and we'll watch your
- 44:32Speaker 2: calls and comments. Coming up right around eight twenty with
- 44:34Speaker 2: JKJ Mix one hundred. It's gonna be another hot day today,
- 44:37Speaker 2: about ninety six in the Mile High City. That means
- 44:40Speaker 2: I got a bunch of goofy kids probably running around
- 44:42Speaker 2: my house in the air conditioning all day to day.
- 44:45Speaker 2: There's a kid over yesterday, though not a fan. There
- 44:49Speaker 2: probably are a fan the other rowdy eight alf and
- 44:52Speaker 2: they're jumping all over the place, and this one kid's
- 44:55Speaker 2: kind of a punk.
- 44:56Speaker 3: So well, I can already feel mine because it's hot
- 44:59Speaker 3: attitude coming up. So I get it with the kids,
- 45:01Speaker 3: Like when it gets like this, you're just waking up
- 45:04Speaker 3: on one, right, Yeah, there's.
- 45:06Speaker 2: One in particular, though, I don't care if it's hot
- 45:08Speaker 2: or cold or you know. Every time they're over, I'm like,
- 45:11Speaker 2: I don't like it. I don't like this kid. I
- 45:13Speaker 2: feel bad, you know, as being a grown adult and
- 45:16Speaker 2: you look at this little child, You're like, I hate you.
- 45:19Speaker 5: You know.
- 45:20Speaker 3: It's funny though I've had those moments too where you're
- 45:23Speaker 3: just like, Zoey, really, this is the friend.
- 45:26Speaker 2: This is who we want to be hanging. I don't
- 45:28Speaker 2: think that's a good idea because I hate this.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Your friends are a reflection of you.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I'm very short with them when they're over and done.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Smell funny. Kids.
- 45:39Speaker 2: They all smell funny at this age, honestly, but yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 2: I hate kids.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Probably just like, hey, mister pat get out of here.
- 45:46Speaker 5: You your back, I have.
- 45:49Speaker 2: A snack, No, get out of my house. I hate you.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Come on. Every parent has a they do exactly. It
- 46:01Speaker 2: was probably you, Joshua. Well, when you went to your
- 46:03Speaker 2: friend's houses.
- 46:04Speaker 5: No, my parents just hated me.
- 46:05Speaker 14: I know.
- 46:06Speaker 3: It's when my friend was grading home because like, nobody
- 46:09Speaker 3: talks to my dad, but my one friend who did
- 46:11Speaker 3: talk to my dad annoyed the crap out of my dad, Like.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Hi, mister Richard.
- 46:16Speaker 4: Like, mister Richard, I love what you've done with health Kelly.
- 46:23Speaker 3: I love her, but man, she and like everybody kind
- 46:25Speaker 3: of feared my dad a little bit, right because he
- 46:28Speaker 3: was tall and just you only just like dark and
- 46:30Speaker 3: moody a little bit. But like she always just walked
- 46:32Speaker 3: up to him and hi, mister Richard, has her day.
- 46:35Speaker 2: And he's like.
- 46:40Speaker 4: A kid here exactly.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I might I should probably just leave the house and
- 46:46Speaker 2: just go to a movie or something. I guess. I
- 46:49Speaker 2: guess I could do that. I'm not a big do
- 46:51Speaker 2: things by myself kind of guy, though, so I don't
- 46:54Speaker 2: know if I could do that.
- 46:55Speaker 3: You know.
- 46:56Speaker 4: It's so funny.
- 46:56Speaker 3: So that's kind of floating around on TikTok right now,
- 46:59Speaker 3: called the soul table theory.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Have you heard of a little low table theory. It's
- 47:03Speaker 2: an incredible seg this.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Well, it's kind of it's like a mindful self growth concept,
- 47:09Speaker 3: right because we'll ask yourself this question. Because I am
- 47:12Speaker 3: able to go out and eat at a restaurant by myself,
- 47:16Speaker 3: no problem. But there are a lot of people out
- 47:17Speaker 3: there who did make them uneasy.
- 47:19Speaker 4: So shouldn't you go out to eat by yourself?
- 47:23Speaker 5: Never?
- 47:23Speaker 2: No, never done it. Never.
- 47:25Speaker 5: I can't wait, you've never done it.
- 47:28Speaker 2: But I've never rolled into like an olive garden and
- 47:30Speaker 2: pulled up at a booth and had my little basket
- 47:32Speaker 2: of breadsticks all by myself.
- 47:33Speaker 5: I never done lay, you know, like sit down in
- 47:37Speaker 5: and out.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Never.
- 47:39Speaker 4: Wow, I am never talked about.
- 47:42Speaker 2: You habitually single. So like you want to go do things,
- 47:47Speaker 2: If you want to go do things, you are going
- 47:49Speaker 2: to be alone.
- 47:49Speaker 3: But even when I had to be with family picket fence,
- 47:53Speaker 3: animal situation, I still.
- 47:55Speaker 5: Want to shoot a daughter her hips by.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Myself, Like I still love to be mind have done
- 48:00Speaker 3: it well. And they're saying like, so this is a
- 48:02Speaker 3: new thing because it goes along with all the stay
- 48:05Speaker 3: away from technology stuff, right, But also they say sitting
- 48:09Speaker 3: alone intentionally dining or sitting alone in public builds quiet confidence.
- 48:15Speaker 4: So that's part of it is proves.
- 48:17Speaker 3: You don't need constant community distractions or external validations to
- 48:21Speaker 3: feel complete.
- 48:22Speaker 4: But it's not just people.
- 48:23Speaker 3: It is literally being able to sit in silence and
- 48:26Speaker 3: observe what's going around you without having to look at
- 48:29Speaker 3: your phone. And it also say that the anxiety of
- 48:33Speaker 3: eating alone is largely in our heads because we think
- 48:36Speaker 3: people are judging us.
- 48:37Speaker 5: No one notices every like, isn't the.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Most people are so absorbed in their own little worlds
- 48:47Speaker 3: like oh no, no, no, no no. So I think that
- 48:50Speaker 3: a lot of people have it in their heads that
- 48:52Speaker 3: eating alone automatically makes them look lonely, makes them look like,
- 48:56Speaker 3: you know, they don't have any friends.
- 48:59Speaker 4: But really it says that.
- 49:00Speaker 3: You know, if you're visibly comfortable being alone in a
- 49:03Speaker 3: public setting, people really look at you as you're.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Secured and self assured.
- 49:08Speaker 3: So I think that it really is a lot of
- 49:11Speaker 3: it is in our minds. But they say if you
- 49:14Speaker 3: have a struggle with this, like Jeremy, if you think.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Struggling with being alone, well, people are gonna judge you
- 49:22Speaker 2: with being alone called Frank hazar no.
- 49:27Speaker 3: But they say to go try and practice it. Go
- 49:29Speaker 3: sit at a restaurant, put your phone away.
- 49:32Speaker 6: So it's it's without your phone without doing that, right.
- 49:35Speaker 6: I love a good dining alone experience. Like, honestly, it's fine.
- 49:39Speaker 6: I've been single too for a long time, Katie, and
- 49:42Speaker 6: even with girlfriends in the past, like I'm not with
- 49:44Speaker 6: them constantly, and you know, a guy gets hungry, so
- 49:48Speaker 6: I don't think I've had a problem with that. But
- 49:51Speaker 6: if I'm just sitting there eating my food looking around
- 49:53Speaker 6: at people, that would get me a little creeped out.
- 49:57Speaker 5: I don't. I love having the phone.
- 49:59Speaker 6: I know you're and being able to just you know,
- 50:02Speaker 6: scroll TikTok while I'm eating my Chick fil a sandwich,
- 50:05Speaker 6: you know, but I think that you do look a
- 50:08Speaker 6: little bit creepy.
- 50:09Speaker 4: When you're not looking at your phone.
- 50:10Speaker 6: Well, if you're just eating making eye contact with someone,
- 50:12Speaker 6: you're sitting a love.
- 50:13Speaker 3: In contact, but like looking around and observing, I would
- 50:16Speaker 3: the people across from awkward eye contact. But they say,
- 50:22Speaker 3: embracing the stillness is part of this, So yeah, they
- 50:25Speaker 3: encourage you to put the phone away, put the devices,
- 50:28Speaker 3: to simply sit.
- 50:29Speaker 4: With your thoughts and be fully present. So I guess
- 50:39Speaker 4: you don't like it's all trend buzzy.
- 50:41Speaker 2: It's all trend and does on May alone eating journeys,
- 50:45Speaker 2: they say, what it really does.
- 50:47Speaker 3: It re establishes solitude as a form of arrival rather
- 50:54Speaker 3: than an absence of connection. Oh yeah, so there you go,
- 50:57Speaker 3: buzzy and trend my motive dot com right now or
- 51:01Speaker 3: so calling.
- 51:02Speaker 4: It a power move Jared rather than a consolation.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Press sitting there shoving breadsticks in your mouth by yourself
- 51:08Speaker 2: as a power movement. Power. Have this list in front
- 51:16Speaker 2: of me of the things that dads actually want for
- 51:19Speaker 2: Father's Day, and one of the things on the list
- 51:21Speaker 2: is just to be left alone. So I could smoke meats.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Oh I thought, I hearn say beef, No.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Beef and smoking meats. Just leave me alone. That's one
- 51:29Speaker 2: of my most favorite things, smoking meat. So I get it.
- 51:33Speaker 2: But yeah, Father's Days on Sunday, Sunday Sundays, So don't
- 51:37Speaker 2: forget like I didn't. Whoops. And we want to talk
- 51:42Speaker 2: about dads and all the fun things that dads say.
- 51:45Speaker 2: So phone lines are wide open if you want to
- 51:47Speaker 2: sound off. Three h three six nine one sixteen forty
- 51:51Speaker 2: nine were some of the dadisms that Dad used to
- 51:53Speaker 2: say growing up. Things that he told you that you're
- 51:55Speaker 2: kind of like, I don't know, is that true? Like, well,
- 52:00Speaker 2: lightning really come through the telephone line and strike me
- 52:03Speaker 2: if I'm talking on the phone.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Yeah, or just funny sayings, right cause my dad used
- 52:08Speaker 3: to say the same thing, but it was so funny
- 52:11Speaker 3: every time he said it, and he had a lot
- 52:13Speaker 3: of those, So that's what I'm thinking.
- 52:15Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of different things.
- 52:16Speaker 6: My dad was one of the things, like it made
- 52:18Speaker 6: me believe that like turning on the light in the
- 52:21Speaker 6: car while you were driving at night, you were gonna
- 52:23Speaker 6: get pulled over.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Right away, like turn that, dad back.
- 52:26Speaker 6: Or you know, if you touch the thermostat or leave
- 52:28Speaker 6: a window open, I'm not you know, cooling down or
- 52:31Speaker 6: heating up other dead, the entire neighborhood.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Coffee stunt your growth.
- 52:35Speaker 5: Yes, I drank a lot of coffee as a child.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Shot it. So what were some of the fun things
- 52:42Speaker 2: that your dad said to you? Skip the stereotypical ones,
- 52:45Speaker 2: you know, like we're not you know, cool in the
- 52:47Speaker 2: outdoors three zero three six y nine one sixteen forty nine,
- 52:51Speaker 2: calls and comments the phone lines are wide open if
- 52:54Speaker 2: you guys want to sound off about dad. So what
- 52:56Speaker 2: were some of the ones that your dad said? Katie?
- 52:58Speaker 3: Okay, So my dad, whenever he was like not having
- 53:02Speaker 3: something right, when it was just not okay, he would
- 53:04Speaker 3: be like, well, that dog won't hunt. That dog won't
- 53:07Speaker 3: even come out from under the front porch. And he
- 53:11Speaker 3: said it all the time, like constantly. Whenever he didn't
- 53:16Speaker 3: like something, it was, well, that dog won't hunt. That
- 53:19Speaker 3: dog won't even come out from underneath the front porch.
- 53:22Speaker 5: So it doesn't have to be a dog like with dogs. Yes,
- 53:26Speaker 5: it's from North Dakota.
- 53:27Speaker 4: It's from North Dakota.
- 53:28Speaker 3: But for whatever reason is John Wayne kicked in to
- 53:31Speaker 3: tell us about the dog under the porch. But he
- 53:34Speaker 3: also like anytime we asked, hey, Dad, what's for dinner,
- 53:37Speaker 3: he'd say food.
- 53:38Speaker 4: And then when we say well what kind of food?
- 53:40Speaker 7: Dad?
- 53:41Speaker 4: The kind eat? Those are all the things he said
- 53:46Speaker 4: all the time. And then you lie like a cheap rug.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Yeah that's a dead classic too.
- 53:51Speaker 4: Yeah, so many.
- 53:54Speaker 2: My dad had, so that one. He always used to say,
- 53:56Speaker 2: the the I never wanted you. That was a good one.
- 54:00Speaker 4: Always want my dad loved.
- 54:02Speaker 5: I don't think you're even mine.
- 54:04Speaker 2: I think that was funny. Bring me my whiskey.
- 54:10Speaker 5: If you need me.
- 54:11Speaker 2: I'll be passed out in the bathtub.
- 54:12Speaker 3: That was He didn't say it, he just did it.
- 54:15Speaker 4: That's different.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Stop looking at me, Oh, dad, Ron says, my dad
- 54:22Speaker 2: told me if I drove with less than a quarter
- 54:24Speaker 2: tank of gas, all the dirt from the bottom of
- 54:26Speaker 2: the gas tank will get sucked into the engine and
- 54:29Speaker 2: destroy my car instantly.
- 54:30Speaker 4: Geez, Dad, I guess that's.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Dad's way of telling you just to put gas in
- 54:35Speaker 2: your car. So she always prepared. My dad used to
- 54:38Speaker 2: convince us that every single buffet put laxatives in the
- 54:42Speaker 2: food to keep people from eating too much. That was
- 54:45Speaker 2: from Jennifer. That's pretty good. And then Amanda wrote in
- 54:49Speaker 2: and said, my dad insisted every hotel room had hidden microphones,
- 54:54Speaker 2: so we needed to be quiet on vacation.
- 54:58Speaker 5: It's brilliant.
- 55:00Speaker 4: You're just smart. Dad moves right.
- 55:01Speaker 2: Dad's my brilliant, Amanda.
- 55:04Speaker 4: He does kids in line.
- 55:05Speaker 2: I got to use that one. What were the things
- 55:07Speaker 2: your dad told you? Three zho three six nine one,
- 55:10Speaker 2: sixteen forty nine. Here is Ricky. Hi, Ricky, welcome to
- 55:13Speaker 2: the show.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Hi.
- 55:15Speaker 9: How are you well?
- 55:15Speaker 2: We're super dupes? Would your dad used to tell you?
- 55:19Speaker 13: My dad used to tell me if you like had
- 55:21Speaker 13: an all nighter for like high school and you couldn't
- 55:24Speaker 13: finish your homework and you stay up all night and
- 55:26Speaker 13: then the next day you felt so yucky, And he'd say,
- 55:29Speaker 13: if you don't eat, you've got to sleep. If you
- 55:31Speaker 13: don't sleep, you've got to eat. You got to feel
- 55:35Speaker 13: your body somehow. Even when you feel crappy, when you
- 55:38Speaker 13: wake up after you hold them or you know, all nighter,
- 55:41Speaker 13: you have to eat.
- 55:42Speaker 2: I don't really, you.
- 55:43Speaker 12: Don't live by it.
- 55:44Speaker 13: When I feel crappy, I'm like, I got to sleep
- 55:46Speaker 13: or eat.
- 55:47Speaker 5: Probably wise words to live.
- 55:49Speaker 2: Excuse to pound a bunch of food in your face?
- 55:51Speaker 3: I guess I like your dad a lot.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Were you pulling an all night or like studying or partying?
- 55:59Speaker 1: Uh?
- 56:00Speaker 10: Either, a.
- 56:03Speaker 13: Little bit of both.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like, honey, you're hungover again. You need to eat.
- 56:09Speaker 13: Mostly not with my dad.
- 56:11Speaker 4: Yeah right, good advice. It stuck with you obviously, Ricky.
- 56:15Speaker 2: What was your dad's name, rick Rick rick and Ricky Yay.
- 56:21Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah we did that.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Yeah that was she did that, Ricky. Thank you for
- 56:27Speaker 2: the call. Really appreciate it.
- 56:30Speaker 13: Happy Father's day, have a good thank you.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Thank you. All right, if anyone else wants to sound off,
- 56:35Speaker 2: I got two lines right now, three h three six
- 56:37Speaker 2: nine one sixteen forty nine uh. Somebody on the text
- 56:41Speaker 2: line the four nine eight says, my dad told me
- 56:45Speaker 2: squirrels remember every human they've ever met. Is that true?
- 56:50Speaker 2: But now do they hold grudges or something that are smart?
- 56:54Speaker 4: So I lean towards the truth, right.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Samantha rode in and said, my dad always told us
- 57:00Speaker 2: if you swallowed a fruit sticker, doctors would have to
- 57:03Speaker 2: surgically remove it. I was terrified of stickers on apples
- 57:07Speaker 2: for years. That's a good one. Hi, Gregory Heny, how's going?
- 57:15Speaker 9: Well?
- 57:15Speaker 2: We're super dupes, buddy. What did your dad used to
- 57:18Speaker 2: say to you?
- 57:20Speaker 10: I guess it's not really a funny one.
- 57:22Speaker 9: But he always told me to keep my eyes on
- 57:24Speaker 9: the price.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Keep your eye on the prize, work harder.
- 57:27Speaker 10: Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, had me focus on the main
- 57:32Speaker 10: goal behind what I'm trying to achieve.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Well, what what's your main goal right now? Gregory?
- 57:38Speaker 5: Staying clean and sober?
- 57:39Speaker 2: Had a boy I on the prize, Gregory, good luck friend,
- 57:43Speaker 2: all right, good luck, appreciate you, buddy. A couple more
- 57:46Speaker 2: on the text line, my dad said every shopping cart
- 57:49Speaker 2: with a wobbly wheel was deliberately made that way to
- 57:52Speaker 2: slow down shoplifters.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Sticky fingers.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Oh no, every shopping cart's like, let's see here. Chris
- 58:03Speaker 2: rode in and said, my dad claimed that all gas
- 58:05Speaker 2: stations get their gas from the exact same giant underground
- 58:10Speaker 2: gas tank. I believed it for years. Okay, now that
- 58:14Speaker 2: damn funny.
- 58:14Speaker 3: That is unbelievable, right, like you would all believe that.
- 58:18Speaker 2: I know. For me, my dad was always lecturing about
- 58:22Speaker 2: never mowing the lawn when there's wet grass, if the
- 58:26Speaker 2: grass is a little bit dewey or anything. He swore
- 58:29Speaker 2: to me every time, if you do that, you will
- 58:31Speaker 2: slide underneath the lawnmower and it will slice your legs off.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I still think about this day when I
- 58:38Speaker 2: go out and try to mow the lawn. I'm like,
- 58:40Speaker 2: is it dry? Is it dry?
- 58:41Speaker 3: I don't want to lose a foot gory, Like I know, right,
- 58:46Speaker 3: my dad just said it rings the blade.
- 58:47Speaker 4: But your dad said.
- 58:48Speaker 2: You will die legs off me.
- 58:51Speaker 4: H my goodness, I mean.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Hiy, hi morning, well, good morning. Tell us about your dad.
- 58:58Speaker 2: What did you tell you?
- 59:00Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, well, it's it's hard. He hasn't gone
- 59:02Speaker 9: along time. But growing up I was Daddy's girl and
- 59:04Speaker 9: it was only me and my brother right, and so
- 59:07Speaker 9: he would go Instead of saying no to me, he
- 59:10Speaker 9: would say, we'll see Donna Kay. And I knew that
- 59:14Speaker 9: meant no. And I was like, who in the hell
- 59:16Speaker 9: is Donna Kay? There's only two of us?
- 59:20Speaker 2: Did you ever find that out? What that meant?
- 59:23Speaker 9: No? No, I go. I used to watch Hit Comes
- 59:28Speaker 9: with him Dad. There's no characters named Donna Kay, you know,
- 59:31Speaker 9: And I was like, where in the hell did he
- 59:33Speaker 9: get that? You know, It's like, so, where is that
- 59:35Speaker 9: coming from? Yeah? That was my dad thing to this day.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Isn't that such a parent thing? Though? Like every kid
- 59:42Speaker 2: eventually finds out that will c means no, it's not happening.
- 59:46Speaker 7: No, exactly good in a favorite right he had lady easy,
- 59:53Speaker 7: you know, it's like, don't get it all freaked out,
- 59:55Speaker 7: don't get it all paranlem Well, yes.
- 59:57Speaker 2: Thanks much, love to you and your family and t
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: so your dad's this Sunday all right?
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: All right, y'all sank to you.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Thank you, have a good day. A couple more that
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: came in on the text line. My dad always told
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: us that every family has one designated person who's naturally
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: good at finding parking spots, and it was only him.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: What.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Okay, that's a strange one. And this one made me laugh.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Who was it? Andy wrote in, My dad told me
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: not to whistle indoors because it confused the smoke detectors.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Dad's a dad right there that is sick of his
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: kids whistling in the house. I guarantee you, that guaranteed.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Sharon called in, Hi, Sharon.
- 1:00:40Speaker 14: Good morning, Well, good morning to you.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: So what are the fun things your dad used to
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: tell you?
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: My father, when my mom and my dad would be
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: watching TV, he would start josing off and my mom
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: would look over and be like, Arnie, you need to
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: wake up.
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: He'd be like, I'm not fall asleep. I'm just rusting
- 1:00:58Speaker 12: my eyes.
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: Oh, Arnie, you're a liar.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: You know you're sleeping.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Arnie's a liar. That is a dad classic right there.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: I'm not sleeping, I'm just resting my eyes. Sharon, that's funny.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Thank you. Here's Chris. Hi, Chris, welcome to the show.
- 1:01:13Speaker 12: Good morning. This is hilarious.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: All right, what's your fun dad story?
- 1:01:19Speaker 12: Okay, my dad was a sheriff for many, many years
- 1:01:24Speaker 12: and from the time I can just remember being like
- 1:01:27Speaker 12: four or five years old, he would always look at
- 1:01:29Speaker 12: me when I went doing something wrong, and then he
- 1:01:31Speaker 12: would say, if you ever go to jail, don't call me.
- 1:01:35Speaker 12: I'm not going to bail you out.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: At four years old, you were into some stuff though.
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: Yeah, well yeah I was.
- 1:01:44Speaker 12: Yeah, I was a little nipper snicker and I still
- 1:01:46Speaker 12: am so you know, but I stayed out of jail,
- 1:01:49Speaker 12: so it was good advice.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: He kept you scared, scared straight.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: You never shoplift ever again. She waited till she was
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: seven to start shop. Thank you everybody for your calls
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: and comments. Absolutely fantastic. We appreciate you listening. Sports Spirit
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Denver's mixed one hundred. Josh, what's going on in the
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: world of sports.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: We got one of the funniest stories here coming out
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: of Norway and it has to do with the World Cup.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: The Norwegian national team decided to come here and try
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: to win it all here in the World Cup.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: But they did something funny.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: Instead of just trusting US Americans making their food, uh huh,
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: they said Americans don't eat very healthy. We are bringing
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: one thousand kilograms, which is about twenty two hundred pounds
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: of fish and salmon and brunos.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: Which is their sweet brown cheese, their traditional.
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: Sweet Marie brown cheese, and six thousand oranges with them.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: These guys are gonna be so efficient in vitamin C.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Why don't they like our one?
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: And they don't even trust our orgers.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: They brought all this food over as well as their
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: culinary expert chefs to make the team their own food.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: They're like, Americans, stay away from our food.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: We don't want anything to.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Do and touch our sweet brown cheese.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: McDonald's ain't good enough for you, guys.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: I Meanwhile, the Germans start hitting up waffle House and
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: every other fast food place they can.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Kids. The scott is chugging all of our beer.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Talk with that.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: Yeah, they're the only people that decide to do this,
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: because the Scots come to town and they're like, give.
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: Us all the beer, we want everything.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: They are drinking Boston quite literally, out of all the
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: beer that they have there, many many bars are reporting, hey,
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: we have nothing left. We need to make emergency runs
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: to the sam Adams of all things Jarre. Do you
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: like Sam Adams?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I've got no beevis? Okay, all right, cool,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Well they've had the emergency runs before too. That's after
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: five or six after too much sweet brown cheese.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: Well, anyway, the Scotts love it. They're drinking like there's
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: no tomorrow. And they even learned a new song.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Here in America. Oh yes they did, and it sounds
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: something like this.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: What singing.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: They are so drunk, it's so drun and it's the
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: best because they're literally in the videos on top of
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: tables and barstools singing.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: I just love how when they get drunk they just
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: get musical, they do.
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Just let's start singing some old John Denver of all
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: things man accent.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: But leave some of the beer for those Red Sox
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: fans though, right.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: I know, no more emergency runs. There you go.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Let's get you up to date on all the fun
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: things going on locally. What you got Katie?
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Okay, we've got an adorable story starting things up about
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: a Lakewood police officer pulling over a five year old
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: So cute, right, it's actually getting a lot of attraction
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: on social media. Lakewood Police Department said one of its
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: officers recently pulled over a quote speedster who was caught
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: exceed the adorable speed limit in his custom designed ride
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: around the streets of Lakewood.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: This is like a box of wheels on Oh it's
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: a little.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: Mini McLaren Like this kid is rolling like large. It's amazing.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: But the picture is what makes us so great.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: As a Lakewood Police officer again is pulling over this
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: little five year old and this little kid is just
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: staring up at him like what, I'm trying to.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: Get home to take a nap.
- 1:05:23Speaker 12: You know he.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Does.
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: He doesn't even have a shirt on eternal left like
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: he's so cute. But I put a picture.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: There an altercation with the officer. No, no, no, he
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: spit on the cop and they had to tase him.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: It was a quiet arrest.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: The agent had to issue a sternly humorous warning. He
