  I'm 50 years. 50 years, you're in the the, what is it, the Mile

  High Club? You know, like when you go to

  the airport, you get privileges. Yeah, 50 years.

  Well, I'm not that far behind you.

  Trudy's a big part of IC 26, which is going on this July in
• 0:53
  Monterey, CA and not too far from Monterey.

  And tell us what this conference is about and your involvement.

  And what is expected at at this year's international conference?

  OK, well I am chair and my Co chair April Helen loves you is

  is my Boone companion in planning this and.

  You know, I used to live in Monterey and I know that area.
• 1:17
  It's not far from Carmel and there's a road, I think it's
• 1:20
  called 17 Mile Rd. or something. And it's one of the most
• 1:22
  beautiful spots in the United States.

  If it's not foggy. So your, your timing is perfect
• 1:28
  because July, that June gloom kind of goes away and it's more
• 1:32
  sunshine and it's a it's a very spiritual area.

  There's no question about that. And So what is the theme is Tell
• 1:40
  me again, the theme is what? Angelic.

  Influence. Emergence.

  Emergence. Yes, emergence.

  OK, so. As we were there sorry we

  learned that it was built or designed by an architect Julia

  Morgan and Asilomar means refuge by the sea and and the con
• 1:58
  center is about a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach so.

  Yeah, no question. That'll certainly set the mood.

  So who are some of the people that are coming and what are

  they going to be talking about? Okay, well, I can go through the

  days. On the first day on Monday is
• 2:15
  about the father, dedicated to the Father and it's about
• 2:18
  personal emergence. And our first speaker is Anna
• 2:22
  Zevin, coming from the Netherlands to talk about
• 2:25
  connection with our thought adjusters.

  And in the afternoon, Felipe Arigoriaga from Chile, we'll
• 2:33
  talk about his personal spiritual journey.

  And of course, we'll have workshops in the morning, in the
• 2:37
  evening. And that night, Umm Pacho Banpan

  is going to give us a concert. So I don't know if you've ever
• 2:44
  seen heard Pato. Oh who hasn't heard of Pato Ban?

  My gosh, he is a legend. He was one of my first
• 2:52
  interviews, him and Antoinette and they set the world on fire.

  And, and I love what they do. They've been probably one of the
• 2:58
  most influential, wouldn't you say?

  I mean, they go around and they do these concerts and then they
• 3:03
  and they say, hey, let's talk about the tarantula book.
• 3:05
  And it drives the the people crazy.

  And I mean, in a good way. They just love his energy and
• 3:09
  hers too. She's been, you know, I haven't
• 3:12
  talked to him in a long time, but boy, that'll be a worth
• 3:14
  trip. Oh, I know, I know.

  They put on a party too. Everybody's dancing and just joy
• 3:21
  with the message of love. So it was going to start with a
• 3:24
  bang like that. And then the next day is
• 3:28
  dedicated to the spirit of truth in Jesus.

  And our plenary speakers are Diane Labrecque from Montreal.

  We'll talk about Team Jesus and the spirit of truth.

  And then we'll have a panel discussion in the afternoon
• 3:41
  about modern ways to spread the teachings.

  You know how as we move in this new age of technology, you know
• 3:49
  what are the most ways to reach people, especially young people?
• 3:54
  So and then evening we'll have a social at the BBQ pit with light
• 3:58
  jazz and then on Wednesday as dedicated to the to the mother

  spirit and it will be emerging into light of life say from
• 4:09
  emergency to emerge and see you will clever discover.

  Yeah you know I live in such full times that we're you know
• 4:19
  we have to the cocoon has to open and we'll see what happens.

  But we Antoine will be our our morning speaker.

  She's going to give a performance and play some music
• 4:30
  and bring us into a deep state of meditation with the mother
• 4:34
  spirit. And then in the afternoon, Gary

  Culligan is coming from Ireland. He's going to give a rousing
• 4:41
  mention of his topic is called taking the Kingdom by his troll
• 4:45
  assault. So we'll have our come to Jesus
• 4:49
  moment and set be set off on our mission.

  And then that evening 0. Go ahead.

  No, no, go ahead, please. Well, that, and I'm not going to

  have many details here because it's a surprise, but we're

  working with the Reversion directors to create a musical

  comical tragedy about Adam and Eve.

  I would love to see that. That'll be, I think.

  It will be fun. Yeah.

  Yeah. And then that evening is the

  gala, the King 20s theme. So be sure to pack your zoot

  suit and fedora. And the Light and Life Band will

  be playing 20s music. And we'll you know this.

  Is July right? So this is like right after 4th

  of July. Give me the specifics on the

  date and what packages are available for people who want to

  come. OK, well the dates of the

  concert, July 12th through 16 and I'm happy and sad to

  announce that we've already, we've sold out all of the hotel

  rooms at a still Amar. So dates are still available,

  you know, but you have to say off campus.

  Well, you're not that far from Monterey, which you know, and
• 5:59
  there's plenty of hotels on that.

  Where do you fly in Monterey? Into Monterey?

  You can fly into San Jose, OK, and you have to find track
• 6:09
  tomorrow, but it'd be better if you can fly into Monterey

  because it's so close. It's just a short Uber ride from

  Monterey Airport. Yeah, yeah.

  So. If we can't do that, yeah.

  Trudy, this sounds like a wonderful event.

  You do it every three years, I've been informed.

  And what makes this unique? Do you think this is one of the
• 6:30
  more, let's just say, have the numbers increased?

  Are you starting to see more? What's that term where things
• 6:37
  speed up accumulation? You know, you get tipping point.
• 6:42
  Are we seeing a tipping point? You think?
• 6:46
  You know, it's really hard to judge in these troubled times.

  You know, airline flights are going through the roof, and I
• 6:54
  think people might be a little heaven to travel.
• 6:58
  I don't, but I'm certainly matter.

  Goals. There was a day and you you

  probably remember conferences back in the 1980s that pulled in
• 7:06
  1000 people. But then people were more happy
• 7:10
  to sleep in dorm rooms or camp. And you know, we didn't need so
• 7:14
  many creature comforts. The conferences were more
• 7:17
  affordable than they are now, and that's a big factor.
• 7:22
  Maybe there's a slow uptick, but the world is changing so
• 7:24
  rapidly, and people are getting their information online rather
• 7:29
  than in person. Yeah, even though we.
• 7:31
  Well, if you go to a concert and there you just can't stop
• 7:34
  hugging people, it gets to be a little annoying because you're
• 7:38
  trying to get from here to there and you have to make sense after
• 7:41
  along the way. I was on a zoom call.
• 7:45
  Speaking of which, this is not long ago celebrating the Jubilee
• 7:48
  of Jubilees, and you did a presentation about a wonderful
• 7:52
  book that's out. If you know someone who has a
• 7:54
  young child or if you have a young child, or even if you
• 7:57
  don't have a young child, just want to buy the book, I would
• 7:59
  encourage you to get this. It's a children's book and Trudy
• 8:02
  Cooper was able to read a lot of it and it was written by
• 8:05
  children and it's called I Am a Child of God.

  And it's a wonderful just children S book that sort of
• 8:11
  reaffirms to that young developing mind that they are
• 8:14
  special and that. So the book came about a few
• 8:17
  years ago. If you wouldn't mind, share it

  with me how the book came to be and how people can get a copy.

  About a year and a half ago, I was chatting with other members
• 8:26
  of our study group and I said, well, I'm thinking about writing
• 8:29
  a children's book. And my friend Andre Elizano
• 8:32
  said, Oh well, artist from Bob said, Oh well, I can help with
• 8:38
  correct. And so there we are.
• 8:40
  We've been working on it for about a year and a half.
• 8:42
  I wrote it and we're refining it.
• 8:44
  And and then finally, it was published with the generous
• 8:47
  support of a couple of donors who covered the cost of of
• 8:52
  publishing it. And it's an hour in our next
• 8:54
  phase of trying to distribute it, wrote it in such a way that
• 8:58
  it should be appealing to everyone, no matter what sort of
• 9:02
  religious belief you have. It's like it doesn't mention the
• 9:06
  Urantia book and it's not branded by the Urantia book, but
• 9:09
  it is full of Urantia book ideas.
• 9:12
  And we truly believe that everybody on the planet could
• 9:16
  begin that lies with this sort of understanding that of course
• 9:19
  your other God, of course, God love, of course he doesn't get
• 9:23
  mad at you when you make mistakes.
• 9:25
  That's how you grow. I mean, we, we address so many
• 9:29
  of the things that children think about in really a gentle,
• 9:33
  loving way. And what's the easiest way to
