Warp transit. The Debt Collector stinks. Belba says it's an excremental — a warp-touched sewer horror — and the Captain's already-lost three janitor crews to it. Introductions all around: an astropath who lies in a tarp surrounded by loose lasguns, and Tech-Priest Gamu 4224, a filing cabinet of grudges who has been spamming the Captain's inbox for months. Then the team descends into Septic Unit Four.
