- 0:51Speaker 1: of some of the recent chaos of the NFL, we
- 0:55Speaker 1: want to be very cognizant of that time as we
- 0:57Speaker 1: do here. So, without further ado, spring our guest onto

- 1:21Speaker 2: But also we've been talking about the Bills NonStop. Obviously
- 1:23Speaker 2: top ten offenses, things like that, So go check out.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You can find it all at YouTube dot com, slash
- 1:28Speaker 2: at minachimes.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Awesome. Yeah, you've been doing tremendous work. I mean covering
- 1:32Speaker 1: what it's touching on the Bills or anything and everything
- 1:34Speaker 1: football related. Last year, hedge you on twice. We did
- 1:38Speaker 1: Bill Seahawks in the season and we did kind of
- 1:41Speaker 1: like a Bill's offensive focused outlook in June at that time.
- 1:45Speaker 1: A lot of I would say, a lot of unknowns.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Joe Brady full time OC, first time Stefon Diggs has gone,
- 1:52Speaker 1: changes in body types at wide receiver, more scheme and
- 1:54Speaker 1: structure questions this year going into twenty twenty five less
- 1:59Speaker 1: I think severity of the questions, especially on one side
- 2:03Speaker 1: of the ball. But I wanted to bring you back
- 2:05Speaker 1: to do something similar to what we did last year
- 2:07Speaker 1: and essentially answer several questions around the Bills that essentially
- 2:10Speaker 1: form as a season outlook for this team in twenty
- 2:14Speaker 1: twenty five. Mina will start with the first question, the
- 2:19Speaker 1: most important thing to the Buffalo Bills twenty twenty five
- 2:22Speaker 1: season besides Josh Allen. He doesn't count. I think he's
- 2:25Speaker 1: the fact that I answered so many things. But the
- 2:27Speaker 1: most important thing to the Buffalo Bills twenty twenty five
- 2:30Speaker 1: season besides Josh Allen is what for you?
- 2:34Speaker 2: I would say, if they can get the past defense
- 2:39Speaker 2: to just be average this year, it's kind of where
- 2:42Speaker 2: I'm at.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I mean, you know, there's other players on the offense.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I think, like if they were to lose Deon Dockett,
- 2:48Speaker 2: I could point to like important players in terms of health.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But I'm operating from the place that the offense is
- 2:53Speaker 2: going to be top five again and you can kind
- 2:55Speaker 2: of set it and forget it. It's also like identical
- 2:57Speaker 2: to last year in terms of like the roster they
- 2:59Speaker 2: bear changed it outside of one edition we could talk about.
- 3:02Speaker 2: But defensively, the Bills were very cognizant of the fact
- 3:07Speaker 2: that the defense, the pass defense, was a weakness last year,
- 3:09Speaker 2: perhaps a bigger weakness than people recognized because they were
- 3:12Speaker 2: able to compensate it for so many turnovers, and Brandon
- 3:16Speaker 2: Bean being the smart jam that he is, knowing that
- 3:19Speaker 2: that kind of thing can regress here to year through
- 3:21Speaker 2: a lot of resources at both the defensive line and
- 3:24Speaker 2: the cornerback position. Although that is probably my biggest question
- 3:26Speaker 2: about the entire roster right This defense was really bad
- 3:29Speaker 2: on third down last season. You know, I've talked about
- 3:32Speaker 2: that at my pot as being like the one thing
- 3:34Speaker 2: that kind of like keeps me up at night about Buffalo,
- 3:36Speaker 2: and I think if they can improve the pass rush
- 3:38Speaker 2: over last season with some of those younger players, in
- 3:41Speaker 2: particular Orbosa working out, that could go a long way
- 3:44Speaker 2: towards mitigating any I would say regression because of turnovers.
- 3:48Speaker 1: That's a great answer. The defense is I think a
- 3:53Speaker 1: significant focus for this team, especially with how they been
- 3:56Speaker 1: bounced from the playoffs the past several years, where it
- 3:59Speaker 1: always seems like the onus is more on the defense
- 4:02Speaker 1: with how many points they put up, and then the
- 4:04Speaker 1: focal point on Josh Allen and you hit it on
- 4:06Speaker 1: the third down defense overall thirty first and success rate
- 4:10Speaker 1: thirty first in EPA per pass seventeenth and EPA per
- 4:13Speaker 1: rush twenty ninth, and EPA per play third and long
- 4:16Speaker 1: so seven or more yards even worse, thirty second in
- 4:19Speaker 1: EPA per play, thirty second, in success rate thirty second,
- 4:22Speaker 1: EPA per pass thirty first, and EPA per rush. That's
- 4:25Speaker 1: a huge, like subset of that pass defense. And you know,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm not going to go to in depth with my
- 4:31Speaker 1: answers because again, I want to be cognizanti of your time.
- 4:34Speaker 1: But that's a big focus for me and a small
- 4:36Speaker 1: one for me as well. Tying into that the spine
- 4:39Speaker 1: of the defense I'm worried about last year, their best
- 4:45Speaker 1: way to defend the run was gamescript and opponents having
- 4:48Speaker 1: to get away from it because they were chasing points.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Teams that were able to stay in games with the
- 4:52Speaker 1: Bills were able to run the ball on the only
- 4:54Speaker 1: way they weren't was that the Bills gapped out and
- 4:56Speaker 1: committed numbers to the box. That also ties in to
- 5:00Speaker 1: some of the questions at safety, the coverage structures. If
- 5:02Speaker 1: you're walking his safety down into the box, that means
- 5:05Speaker 1: Taylor rap or Cole Bishop or single high safety Bishop
- 5:08Speaker 1: doesn't really have the processing yet rap doesn't really have
- 5:10Speaker 1: the range, so it's a very it can get little
- 5:13Speaker 1: money on that side of the ball. I like that.
- 5:15Speaker 1: That's kind of where your head is acted. That's where
- 5:16Speaker 1: mine is as well.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely some attrition on the in the back end
- 5:21Speaker 2: over the years is starting to add up. And yeah,
- 5:23Speaker 2: I'm so focused on CB two. Safety is also a
- 5:26Speaker 2: big question mark, especially given the importance of that position
- 5:29Speaker 2: in uh Sean Mcerri's defense.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been saying it's like football karma for all
- 5:34Speaker 1: the years of having hide employer, that the football gods
- 5:36Speaker 1: are like, we got to change some things a little bit.
- 5:38Speaker 1: You have to pay for that. I like that employer back.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Do I see that somewhere it is.
- 5:43Speaker 1: He's on the practice squad. It's more of a it's
- 5:46Speaker 1: more of a culture character hip role.
- 5:49Speaker 3: We'll see if one would hope.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, one would hope because he doesn't. His tape wasn't ideal.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I didn't watch a ton of Dolphins defense last year,
- 5:56Speaker 1: but what I did watch, he's been on his last legs.
- 5:59Speaker 1: He was on his last eggs in Buffalo in twenty
- 6:01Speaker 1: twenty three. So yeah, I do hope. It's more of
- 6:03Speaker 1: a leadership perspective. Second question we want to answer here,
- 6:08Speaker 1: what concerns you the most about the Buffalo Bills in
- 6:11Speaker 1: twenty twenty five.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so I alluded to this CB two, although I
- 6:15Speaker 2: will say in the Bills defense, there's kind of like
- 6:17Speaker 2: a cornerback drought across the league like so many like
- 6:22Speaker 2: the Eagles, have the exact same problem CEB two. I
- 6:24Speaker 2: don't know if you've been paying much attention to their office.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I mean, the Eagles are also like an all star team, right,
- 6:28Speaker 2: but defectively, that second cornerback position is a real problem
- 6:33Speaker 2: with them. It's a real problem with a lot of teams,
- 6:35Speaker 2: even in the NFC North, where teams are so strong.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I was, I'm talking about the Packers all day. Cornerbacks
- 6:39Speaker 2: are problem. The Vikings defense is great. Cornerbacks are problem.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So there's not like these great there's And that's part
- 6:44Speaker 2: of the reason why I think so many teams are
- 6:46Speaker 2: week is that even the competitors or contenders rather, there
- 6:49Speaker 2: just aren't that many cornerbacks floating around. There weren't like
- 6:52Speaker 2: guys that the Bills could easily sign in so that
- 6:54Speaker 2: I would say, and they tried to address it in
- 6:57Speaker 2: the draft, but you know, Harriston hurt and missing a
- 7:01Speaker 2: lot of the ausseison program is concerning. I know Bills
- 7:04Speaker 2: fans love Trey White, but I mean I watched him.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I don't know if they've watched him.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Again, I'm rooting for the guy, but like this is
- 7:12Speaker 2: definitely he's definitely not the guy who was a few
- 7:14Speaker 2: years ago. To put that way, I guess. And I
- 7:17Speaker 2: know he's also banked up right, So I don't know
- 7:19Speaker 2: what it was like Ingram or something. It's just especially
- 7:22Speaker 2: I think going back to the playoff loss against Kansas
- 7:24Speaker 2: City and seeing them so relentlessly attack, whether it was
- 7:27Speaker 2: Kyrie Elam or Douglas. So it is very obvious to
- 7:32Speaker 2: me when you look at this Bills defense. If I'm
- 7:34Speaker 2: an offensive coordinator, what I want to go after, and
- 7:37Speaker 2: I think whether or not the Bills can compensate for that.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I think game script is going to be their best
- 7:40Speaker 2: friend in that regard. But yeah, that would be the
- 7:44Speaker 2: one thing that concerns me.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I like that point for the Bills, and I like
- 7:47Speaker 1: your your broader point of kind of like the CB
- 7:49Speaker 1: drought across the league in great examples with Philly, like
- 7:52Speaker 1: is keethy Ringo going to be the answer there, like
- 7:54Speaker 1: opposite of Quinnon Mitchell and then ironically like they get
- 7:57Speaker 1: rid of Isaiah Rodgers, who is now the CB two
- 8:00Speaker 1: in Minnesota, like you mentioned, and that I mean, Flores
- 8:03Speaker 1: finds a way to correct for so many things. And
- 8:05Speaker 1: what's what I like about you bringing up both of
- 8:08Speaker 1: those defenses in relation to the Bills. You and you
- 8:11Speaker 1: hit on it. But the Eagles have this all star
- 8:13Speaker 1: lineup right. We saw it in the Super Bowl. Even
- 8:15Speaker 1: though Milton Williams has gone and we said we've had
- 8:17Speaker 1: some changes, they just have such a great roster and
- 8:21Speaker 1: at the end of the day, it's like, well, we
- 8:22Speaker 1: can just let our front four do work and then
- 8:23Speaker 1: we still have strength on the back seven to play coverage.
- 8:27Speaker 1: And then the Vikings you've got some really good guys
- 8:30Speaker 1: on paper as well, and then you've got Brian Flores
- 8:32Speaker 1: as this mad scientist who's attacking you. The Bills have
- 8:37Speaker 1: been traditionally more just like, no, you know what, we're
- 8:40Speaker 1: gonna what coverages we're gonna play. We're just gonna run,
- 8:42Speaker 1: We're gonna rush for and that's it. And it's I
- 8:44Speaker 1: don't want to say it's easier, but essentially as easier
- 8:47Speaker 1: to pick on a guy because there's less schematic coverage,
- 8:50Speaker 1: there's less ways to protect that guy. If there's a vulnerability,
- 8:54Speaker 1: teams can attack it. Because the Bills have been even
- 8:57Speaker 1: when they've been disguising coverages and getting it into shifts,
- 8:59Speaker 1: it's more just going from two to single or single
- 9:02Speaker 1: two and changing the pre to postnat picture there. But
- 9:05Speaker 1: it's easy to kind of isolate and attack a guy.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And I think that's a good point. And like you said,
- 9:09Speaker 1: Hairston is already you know, on the IR Trey White's
- 9:12Speaker 1: banged up, his questionability is significant for Week one, I
- 9:16Speaker 1: doubt he plays. And then yeah, is it JaMarcus Ingram?
- 9:19Speaker 1: What does that look like long term? Very fair, very
- 9:22Speaker 1: fair concern. Our next question to answer here, which and
- 9:25Speaker 1: I'm very interested to get your well getting interested to
- 9:27Speaker 1: get your perspective on everything here, which is why I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: excited to have you. But I think this one is interesting.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Which Bills player do you think is flying under the
- 9:34Speaker 1: radar nationally but won't be after this season.
- 9:40Speaker 3: That's a really hard one with the Bills.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I think most teams I could answer it really easily,
- 9:44Speaker 2: but like I just pulled up the depth chart and
- 9:48Speaker 2: I was trying to figure out who my answer would be,
- 9:51Speaker 2: like who's the you know, because I guess maybe Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you two answers, okay, and you can
- 9:57Speaker 2: let me lay know what you think that's fair. I
- 9:59Speaker 2: think Benford as good as he is, maybe it's not appreciated, Nashley,
- 10:03Speaker 2: I think, you know, just that's reflected in some of
- 10:06Speaker 2: the rankings and accolades that have been circulating over the offseason.
- 10:09Speaker 2: There's a reason why we're talking about CB two and
- 10:13Speaker 2: being attacked relentlessly because teams are not going to throw
- 10:15Speaker 2: on him, right.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I think at this.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Point, at least, you know, smart off when subcordinators are
- 10:21Speaker 2: aware of how good he is and that they should
- 10:23Speaker 2: try to avoid him. Bill's obviously rewarded him with the contract,
- 10:26Speaker 2: so that one is more just kind of like I
- 10:28Speaker 2: guess your perception of what the national I don't know,
- 10:30Speaker 2: like if he is, but he's a good player. I
- 10:33Speaker 2: have kind of a weird answer. Offensively, another player who
- 10:40Speaker 2: I don't think maybe it's appreciated how good he's gotten
- 10:43Speaker 2: is the right tackle Spencer Brown. Oh yeah, maybe that's
- 10:47Speaker 2: a little bit of a relative thing because I'm not
- 10:49Speaker 2: saying he's like a superstar, but he was a player
- 10:52Speaker 2: who I was completely out on early in his career candidly.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And then just this summer, I was watching some Bills
- 10:59Speaker 2: runs for a little project I've been working on, and
- 11:02Speaker 2: I just constantly found my eyes drawn to him on
- 11:05Speaker 2: the move, and I think he's become such a good
- 11:08Speaker 2: run blocker honestly, and so key to a lot of
- 11:12Speaker 2: the They do a lot of interesting things in the
- 11:14Speaker 2: run game. So I'll throw him out there because I
- 11:17Speaker 2: struggled to think of another offensive player. I don't know,
- 11:19Speaker 2: is there anyone that you think offensively you would throw
- 11:22Speaker 2: out there.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I think there's a chance Osirius Torrance could kind of
- 11:28Speaker 1: come from. I think he's more unknown, could raise a bit.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I love your answer with Spencer Brown though, because he
- 11:35Speaker 1: the only person that I've seen from a non Bill's
- 11:38Speaker 1: landscape that has spoken about him. I think Brandon Thorne
- 11:41Speaker 1: had him as like his third ranked right tackle going
- 11:44Speaker 1: into this season, and that was my response. I was like, Oh, like,
- 11:49Speaker 1: that's that's interesting because this even as a group, the
- 11:53Speaker 1: Bill's offensive line is good with what they do in
- 11:55Speaker 1: past pro and how diverse they are in the run
- 11:58Speaker 1: They're a really sound groups, but I don't think they
- 12:01Speaker 1: get spoken about in and I'm not saying they should,
- 12:03Speaker 1: but they don't get spoken about in the same light
- 12:04Speaker 1: as Detroit's offensive line and Philly's offensive line that has
- 12:08Speaker 1: more star power quote unquote. But I love your answer
- 12:11Speaker 1: with Spencer Brown because he does so much for them,
- 12:14Speaker 1: him and Dion Dawkins, who is much more known and recognized.
- 12:17Speaker 1: But they they famously like they don't pull their guards
- 12:21Speaker 1: a lot, they pull their tackles. They run a ton
- 12:23Speaker 1: of dart and tackle long trap. And then even on
- 12:26Speaker 1: that right side of the line, you watch Spencer Brown
- 12:28Speaker 1: and o Cyrus Torrens work on duo and they're blowing
- 12:30Speaker 1: guys off the ball. And Brown, as he's gotten healthier
- 12:33Speaker 1: the past couple of years, it's gotten so much better technically,
- 12:36Speaker 1: his punch timing in tandem with his feet, the way
- 12:38Speaker 1: he's able to work his snatch trap. I love that answer,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and I actually didn't even think of that one. It
- 12:44Speaker 1: was whil of it even more my answer, if I
- 12:46Speaker 1: had to go, it was what you said first. Christian
- 12:48Speaker 1: Benford just I think he's a top ten corner in
- 12:51Speaker 1: this league, but not seen as that nationally even on
- 12:54Speaker 1: the was the like ESPN or like the rankings from
- 12:58Speaker 1: execs and scouts across the league, didn't even get like
- 13:00Speaker 1: an also receiving votes or an honorable mention. But you
- 13:04Speaker 1: look at him amongst ninety two corners with at least
- 13:06Speaker 1: thirty targets last year fifth and epa per target tied
- 13:09Speaker 1: for first, and yards per coverage snap fifth and yards
- 13:12Speaker 1: per target eighth, and yards per game tenth in QB
- 13:15Speaker 1: rating when targeted. I think a very good player that
- 13:18Speaker 1: is just not known, and especially if we see some
- 13:22Speaker 1: issues with CB two, I think it could kind of
- 13:23Speaker 1: propel him for very nice answers. I like that a lot. Well, yes,
- 13:27Speaker 1: well done, Well done. We'll move on to our next
- 13:29Speaker 1: one here, which this is one I'm interested for to
- 13:32Speaker 1: see with you as well. Which new offseason edition it
- 13:35Speaker 1: could be a free agent signing, it could be a
- 13:36Speaker 1: draft pick. Which new offseason edition do you think will
- 13:39Speaker 1: end up being the most impactful for the local Bills
- 13:43Speaker 1: this season.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I know, I know this is hard because again they
- 13:46Speaker 2: didn't you know, I would have probably guessed Harriston if
- 13:49Speaker 2: not for the injury, because I think they kind of
- 13:51Speaker 2: need him to be for this defense to be what
- 13:54Speaker 2: so that might still be it. I think I don't
- 13:56Speaker 2: know how long he's going to be out.
- 14:00Speaker 1: No.
- 14:00Speaker 2: One offensively, so it would have to be. I mean,
- 14:03Speaker 2: you know, I get like Josh Warmer is a decent player.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I think people might be surprised by how useful he is,
- 14:07Speaker 2: but that's you know, honestly, probably have to go with
- 14:13Speaker 2: Joey Bosa just because even if he doesn't play the
- 14:17Speaker 2: whole season, which let's be realized, probably not going to.
- 14:21Speaker 3: If he can just.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Be a closer in a big moment, in like a
- 14:27Speaker 2: playoff game, right, which is kind of what he's being
- 14:30Speaker 2: brought in to do, then you'll look back on this acquisition. Finally,
- 14:34Speaker 2: Obviously they're not paying him a ton of money. It's
- 14:36Speaker 2: it's a flyer. But to me, like he doesn't have
- 14:40Speaker 2: to be Joey Bosa a few years ago to be
- 14:43Speaker 2: helpful to this Bill's defense. I think Greg Russo is
- 14:45Speaker 2: a really solid player too, but you know, and then
- 14:49Speaker 2: as far as like all the d tackles that they added,
- 14:51Speaker 2: you know, I think any of them right could be
- 14:53Speaker 2: could be helpful. But I'll go with Bosa just because
- 14:56Speaker 2: you know, this Bills team when I think about, like
- 14:59Speaker 2: what's the different here. You're not really talking about like
- 15:01Speaker 2: over the course of the season. You're thinking like playoffs,
- 15:04Speaker 2: big game, big moment, third down. Can Joey Bosa bring
- 15:07Speaker 2: down the quarterback?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Probably? Right, Yeah, so I'll go with him.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I like that answer, especially with what they've added on
- 15:14Speaker 1: the interior and the potential flashes. You've got guys that
- 15:19Speaker 1: can get quarterbacks off the spot, and Bosa is so
- 15:22Speaker 1: good at reading the angles of offensive tackles and understanding
- 15:27Speaker 1: quarterback drop depth and knowing how to get to guys.
- 15:30Speaker 1: And yeah, if he can stay healthy, I really do think.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I think he can be an even better closer than
- 15:34Speaker 1: what von Miller was the past couple of years as
- 15:36Speaker 1: he worked back from injury. And there's the chance. I
- 15:39Speaker 1: love Greg Russo, I still don't think he's a true
- 15:41Speaker 1: edge one as a pass rusher. So there's a world
- 15:44Speaker 1: where Joey Bosa matters a lot, and if he stays healthy,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I think he could have a really good impact. So
- 15:49Speaker 1: I like that answer. I have a sneak, kind of
- 15:52Speaker 1: a sneaky one because he's suspended for the first six games.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I love Michael Whyte. I owed so much Rams tape
- 15:58Speaker 1: last year because I love Kobe Turner, and then first
- 16:01Speaker 1: was nasty and I always kept seeing it's like, who's
- 16:04Speaker 1: ninety seven and he's lined up all over the place,
- 16:07Speaker 1: my hope, And this is tiedy into a largest schematic
- 16:09Speaker 1: thing and a bit of what we talked about earlier.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I think the Bills need to get more diverse and
- 16:14Speaker 1: creative with their fronts and their structure, and Hoyt is
- 16:18Speaker 1: such a unicorn for that for them, with where he
- 16:20Speaker 1: can align and what he can do. And I just
- 16:23Speaker 1: think he could be a force multiplier in lining him
- 16:25Speaker 1: up all over the place on the front to attack.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a sneaky loss for the Rams player that
- 16:31Speaker 2: I've watched since the very beginning of his career, and
- 16:34Speaker 2: because I worked at Rams preseason when it was unclear
- 16:36Speaker 2: if he had a spot on this roster. You know,
- 16:38Speaker 2: this is not a high draft pick, and he changed positions.
- 16:42Speaker 2: He was really unselfish about doing what the Rams coaching
- 16:46Speaker 2: staff asked of him, and as you alluded to, it
- 16:48Speaker 2: was always something different. He was probably dropping in coverage
- 16:51Speaker 2: more than any defensive lineman in football, but he was
- 16:53Speaker 2: a really big part of their five man rush package.
- 16:56Speaker 2: They called the Cheeta package in La So I think,
- 16:58Speaker 2: you know, that's something that the Bills if Bobby bab
- 17:01Speaker 2: babbitche can add that to their arsenal Situationally, the Rams
- 17:05Speaker 2: five man rush is significantly more effective than their four
- 17:08Speaker 2: man rush, which might surprise people because they think about
- 17:10Speaker 2: the great players they have on the defensive line. But
- 17:14Speaker 2: you know, I think that's something that Buffalo could do
- 17:17Speaker 2: a little bit more and he could definitely be part
- 17:18Speaker 2: of that.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we had him in the film room to break
- 17:21Speaker 1: down Rams tape and he mentioned the Cheetah package and
- 17:23Speaker 1: then we focused on that so much and just you
- 17:26Speaker 1: got him and Verse on one side and it's Turner
- 17:29Speaker 1: and Fisk and Young on the other and just what
- 17:31Speaker 1: they're doing, how they're attacking the threat potential. I essentially
- 17:37Speaker 1: want that mimicked in Buffalo as much as they can,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and hoyit is a big piece of that. I love
- 17:41Speaker 1: your feedback on that. That's super cool to hear. All Right,
- 17:44Speaker 1: last question here, could be Broadbrush, could be niche could
- 17:48Speaker 1: be anything. What is the biggest obstacle to the Buffalo
- 17:52Speaker 1: Bills finally winning the AFC. I'm not saying win the
- 17:55Speaker 1: Super Bowl, but finally winning the AFC, getting out of
- 17:58Speaker 1: the conference and getting to the Super Bowl in twenty
- 18:01Speaker 1: twenty five.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I would say past defense sort of what I said
- 18:05Speaker 3: at the beginning. I mean, I just.
- 18:08Speaker 2: The Bills offense to me is a machine at this point,
- 18:11Speaker 2: which is hilarious to say about a team without like
- 18:13Speaker 2: a Cure Clear wide receiver one. But the combination of
- 18:16Speaker 2: Josh Allen Joe Brady in the run game when the
- 18:19Speaker 2: run game is including the offensive line of course two good.
- 18:23Speaker 2: And also you know, they were a top five offense
- 18:25Speaker 2: last year with sink groove, so you know, I think
- 18:27Speaker 2: some of those younger players could take a step forward.
- 18:29Speaker 2: The defense I wouldn't say concerns me, but if I
- 18:33Speaker 2: think about them playing, you know, at the end of
- 18:34Speaker 2: the year against Kansas City again, or maybe they're up
- 18:37Speaker 2: against the Bagels passing attack Jamar Chason T. Higgins or
- 18:41Speaker 2: the Ravens in everything that they present in terms of
- 18:44Speaker 2: run pass conflict, I do worry about some of the
- 18:47Speaker 2: holes in the secondary in particular, So I would say,
- 18:52Speaker 2: and then if they like don't get as many turnover
- 18:54Speaker 2: as as last year. But again, I think the offense
- 18:56Speaker 2: is so good and Josh Allen is so good that
- 19:00Speaker 2: it's not going to be a huge problem. And I
- 19:02Speaker 2: think the defense is going to have a lot of
- 19:03Speaker 2: opportunities to get after the.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Quarterback from just on a game script basis, but just.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You know, the depth chart, I look at it and
- 19:10Speaker 2: there are a couple spots that like, I don't know
- 19:12Speaker 2: about that.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Yeah, there's some paper questions, and I'm in lockstep with you,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you know. I think the past defense is a big
- 19:17Speaker 1: part of my answer is just broad brush of being
- 19:20Speaker 1: more matchup sound in the playoffs. I think they're their
- 19:23Speaker 1: defense largely in the regular season is and it goes
- 19:27Speaker 1: this way in the playoffs too, is you know, hey,
- 19:29Speaker 1: we are who we are. We're gonna play what we're
- 19:30Speaker 1: gonna play. We're gonna see how you're gonna play, and
- 19:33Speaker 1: then we're going to adjust off of that. And that
- 19:36Speaker 1: works on the whole. But when you get into the playoffs,
- 19:38Speaker 1: it's a different beast. It's a different animal. I don't
- 19:40Speaker 1: think they do enough dictating to offenses the way Steve
- 19:43Speaker 1: Spagnolo does, the way Louis Rumo did for the Bengals,
- 19:46Speaker 1: the way the Ravens have done under or a bit
- 19:48Speaker 1: and even more so under McDonald, like, and then you're
- 19:51Speaker 1: combating great offenses with great players and usually great coordinators
- 19:54Speaker 1: on top of it. I think there needs to be
- 19:56Speaker 1: more dictation from that defense and that ties into the
- 19:59Speaker 1: schematic creativity in the front and everything in the past
- 20:02Speaker 1: defense piece from you. Yeah, I think that's very very
- 20:05Speaker 1: well said Mina. This is awesome. You are awesome.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Oh, thank you.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I love going on and talking Bill's at you ahead
- 20:12Speaker 2: of the season. It's I feel like we now, we've
- 20:15Speaker 2: been doing it for a few years, and yeah, I
- 20:17Speaker 2: always like hearing your perspective. I can't believe Bill's Ravens
- 20:21Speaker 2: is just barreling towards us.
- 20:22Speaker 1: By the way, No, I'm so excited and also like terrified,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but also thrilled and also terrified. Yeah, it's a crazy
- 20:30Speaker 1: opener that could have long term ramifications that when we're
- 20:33Speaker 1: looking at the seat income January. But yeah, this was awesome.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Thank you so much for taking the time. Everyone, if
- 20:39Speaker 1: you have not somehow checked out Mina on ESPN or
