- 1:33Speaker 2: talking about. This morning went to the birthdays and the
- 1:36Speaker 2: porno birthday. I did want to share this is this
- 1:39Speaker 2: is fun. It's a Woody Show Got Talent clip. Right,
- 1:42Speaker 2: we haven't had a Woody Show Got Talent for a minute.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But this this woman, I bet you she was all
- 1:49Speaker 2: the rage at band camp. Okay, all right, because this
- 1:52Speaker 2: girl is really good. Videos she posted it went viral.
- 1:57Speaker 2: She beat boxes while playing the flute. Now, this this
- 2:01Speaker 2: is talent. Here we go. Are you actually kidding me?
- 2:14Speaker 2: You can?
- 2:14Speaker 3: You can?
- 2:14Speaker 2: You can see the video. That is so good.
- 2:20Speaker 3: That's incredible.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I might even watch that. Yeah, that's really good. Actually
- 2:25Speaker 2: is so hard.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Well, the flute is the perfect instrument for this because
- 2:28Speaker 5: you're not, unlike most you know, reads and wood wooden instruments,
- 2:31Speaker 5: you're not actually.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Blowing into across it.
- 2:35Speaker 5: So it's it's a perfect time because you can kind
- 2:36Speaker 5: of time your breast across that little hole.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Or like when you play trumpet and you have to
- 2:40Speaker 2: do that. You couldn't do this with a trumpet. Yeah, dude,
- 2:44Speaker 2: I had one year. I told you I joined the
- 2:47Speaker 2: band because it got you out of class to go
- 2:49Speaker 2: to the practice. It wasn't marching band. It was like
- 2:52Speaker 2: the band band, right, Yeah, and uh so it was great.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Didn't have to go to like football games and credit
- 2:57Speaker 2: like that. Uh, but the thing that was the most
- 3:00Speaker 2: disgusting I think about the trump is it has that
- 3:02Speaker 2: little drain like towards the end. Yeah, because like that
- 3:05Speaker 2: when you play the trumpet, you go right and uh
- 3:11Speaker 2: spit collects inside and there's this little kind of drain
- 3:14Speaker 2: that you push the button thing and it just all
- 3:17Speaker 2: pours out.
- 3:17Speaker 5: It's that. It's disgusting. You get a more trumpet concerts Menace,
- 3:26Speaker 5: I guess.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yeah, he should have been in the band Dogs. Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Greg's digging it. Yeah, I'm gonna buy her album. I'm
- 3:40Speaker 2: really There's this one guy. I don't know where he's at,
- 3:42Speaker 2: Brazil or something anyway, He's he's like a one man
- 3:46Speaker 2: band dude, and he's really good. He's playing guitar, he's
- 3:48Speaker 2: got a drum set on his back. Yeh, he's got
- 3:50Speaker 2: the harmone harmonical harmonious. Does he have those things on
- 3:55Speaker 2: his shoes too? Yeah, but he'll do like a because
- 3:59Speaker 2: he like just kind of kicks his foot up a
- 4:00Speaker 2: little bit. It's it's cool. I watched those videos forever.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Greg something one man bands, something that was huge one
- 4:07Speaker 5: hundred years ago.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, let's see how about this. This sounds like
- 4:13Speaker 2: something you could go to Sea Bass and go talk
- 4:15Speaker 2: to the people. The Great Florida Bigfoot Conferences next month.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I'm going to see if that's on my schedule. It's

- 4:59Speaker 2: be distinguished by its overpowering foul odor, hence the skunk
- 5:05Speaker 2: of the skunk ape Maybe it's just a real skunk
- 5:08Speaker 2: organized just say. People travel across the country to hear
- 5:11Speaker 2: first hand encounter stories, meet researchers they've seen on television.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Maybe like your cousin is your cousin? Yeah, Bobo, Sammy's cousin,
- 5:22Speaker 2: Brow's exhibitor booths, including a dedicated skunk ape row. The
- 5:26Speaker 2: event also features live town hall discussions, interactive exhibits, and
- 5:30Speaker 2: family friendly activities. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
- 5:34Speaker 2: says there is no direct evidence that the creature exists,
- 5:37Speaker 2: but it's not going to stop all his people from
- 5:39Speaker 2: governents not why, but they do acknowledge that a handful
- 5:41Speaker 2: of recent sightings and reports from various parts of the
- 5:44Speaker 2: state have come in. Reports absolutely, I know, like DNA
- 5:51Speaker 2: or foss photo. Yeah, nothing super consequential, but that could
- 5:56Speaker 2: be something you could put on your to do list. Yeah, gross, Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 2: the the the big Foot people. All right, time for
- 6:05Speaker 2: your birthdays shown it's shiver. We won't sit.

- 6:32Speaker 5: a with a speaking part that was dubbed in by
- 6:34Speaker 5: somebody else.

- 8:19Speaker 2: is a little look at what's happening here this morning
- 8:21Speaker 2: with the Woody Show doing We're doing it.
- 8:31Speaker 7: Woody Show.
- 8:33Speaker 2: And we're into another hour here with the Woody Show, Woody,
- 8:38Speaker 2: Greg Menace. Yeah, Gina Grant phones eight seven seven forty
- 8:42Speaker 2: four Woody text over to two to nine eight seven.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I noticed looking at the receipt because you know how
- 8:50Speaker 2: like when you're on the toilet, you'll read shampoo bottle.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Or the show in the.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Drive room picking up some food for the for the kids.
- 8:59Speaker 2: It's gonna be a good dad, fun dad. Not a
- 9:01Speaker 2: good dad. Good dad wouldn't be getting drive through the
- 9:03Speaker 2: Uh huh, fun dad. Yeah, there was a request from McDonald's.
- 9:08Speaker 8: Okay, what you're about to say something with the receipt
- 9:12Speaker 8: in McDonald's.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, I have something I've never noticed before. Okay,
- 9:17Speaker 2: go for it. What did you notice that it's like fancy,
- 9:20Speaker 2: it's really nice? Oh no, okay, I was a receipt.
- 9:24Speaker 8: No, it was like, I don't know it was at
- 9:26Speaker 8: least the McDonalds.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I went to you the like good quality stock. Yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 2: like the.
- 9:29Speaker 8: Paper was really nice stock color, like it was all
- 9:33Speaker 8: in color on the back.
- 9:34Speaker 2: It was like really like high quality receipt. I'm sitting there,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I'm looking at the receipt. I never realized that they're
- 9:41Speaker 2: even charging you for bags in the drive through. Bag
- 9:46Speaker 2: charge to put the food for the supposed to am
- 9:53Speaker 2: I supposed to bring my own bags to the drive through?
- 9:56Speaker 3: My god, I know, I never noticed.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I mean you, no way attention. Usually I get the
- 10:03Speaker 2: receipt in the drive through. Now is because if they
- 10:04Speaker 2: mess up the order, I can look and go all right, no, hell,
- 10:07Speaker 2: look I'm missing this, that's it. That's it. I don't
- 10:10Speaker 2: really look at the receipt.
- 10:11Speaker 8: Damn they were distracting me with the quality of the receipt. Yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 8: I may even notice that.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Are you one of the people that won't leave the
- 10:17Speaker 3: window until you go through everything?
- 10:19Speaker 9: Now?
- 10:19Speaker 2: Now he is. You have to know. I never used
- 10:21Speaker 2: to be, but I got burned so many times.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, damn it, Like how hard is this? I know,
- 10:26Speaker 3: I keep trusting him and I keep getting burned.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Yeah, And apparently it's the one by your guy's house
- 10:31Speaker 8: that has the most issues, right, you've had there's one
- 10:34Speaker 8: for a couple of years.
- 10:35Speaker 2: There's one in particular, there's one in particular, but in general,
- 10:38Speaker 2: I've noticed there's a lot more slacking when it goes
- 10:40Speaker 2: to especially if they're doing the dual lanes.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm like, how is this gonna work?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I'll get somebody's completely I'll get the completely
- 10:49Speaker 2: wrong order. Yeah, like I'll get the car that was
- 10:51Speaker 2: maybe supposed to be behind me or whoever's maybe in
- 10:53Speaker 2: front of me. Nervous, Yeah, because they're they're doing that
- 10:56Speaker 2: whole weave. Yeah, zipper zipper.
- 11:00Speaker 3: That's like the same thing as a waiter who refuses
- 11:02Speaker 3: to write it down.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Like there's one it's gonna work out yea cool. Yeah,
- 11:05Speaker 2: And there's one that has like like a payment window
- 11:08Speaker 2: and then two different pickup windows. Yeah, you know.
- 11:12Speaker 8: I hate it when I do the payment window and
- 11:14Speaker 8: there is two different pickup windows and they never tell
- 11:16Speaker 8: me which window to go to.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I go to which everyone's open. If the far one's open,
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'm going all the way down. And maybe I think
- 11:22Speaker 2: that's the whole reason is to make rooms will be
- 11:24Speaker 2: so you can keeping keep things moving.
- 11:26Speaker 8: I have gone to the wrong window before and just
- 11:29Speaker 8: sat there.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Well that's the other thing. Maybe I have abandonment issues.
- 11:32Speaker 3: But when they're like, oh, just pull over that spot
- 11:34Speaker 3: and we'll bring it out, I'm like, they're nevercomer.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I hate. I'd almost rather leave never noticed, never notice
- 11:42Speaker 2: they're charging for bags.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 11:44Speaker 10: Do you still have that receipt?
- 11:45Speaker 2: I don't. I can go through it. I can go
- 11:47Speaker 2: through the drive through again just to get one.
- 11:48Speaker 10: Yeah, I'd like to take a picture of it so
- 11:50Speaker 10: you can get like five cents from it.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Are you serious? I still use that app? I was
- 11:54Speaker 2: telling you all about, are you scanned the receipt?
- 11:57Speaker 11: It takes all my data or whatever?
- 11:58Speaker 2: But yeah, but cares and what have you gotten from it.
- 12:01Speaker 10: Oh, I need to look up the amounts, but I'll
- 12:03Speaker 10: get like a twenty dollars gift card to Amazon, thirty
- 12:05Speaker 10: dollars gift card to Chewy.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Here you've actually gotten those.
- 12:07Speaker 10: Yeah, I've probably made over one hundred bucks.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Man, because my son was like, every time my wife
- 12:11Speaker 2: and I would go anywhere, he was asking for the receipts.
- 12:13Speaker 2: He was doing it. He was doing the same thing.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I feel like a crackhead.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I go, hey, whatever happened to that? This is got
- 12:18Speaker 2: two years ago at this point, Hey, whatever happened to that?
- 12:20Speaker 2: He goesh, it was bs man. Just you know, you
- 12:23Speaker 2: scan a thousand receipts and you get like two dollars.
- 12:26Speaker 10: Yeah, but it's like Greg's slot machine game where when
- 12:28Speaker 10: I get a lot of points.
- 12:29Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, do you want receipts, I've got yeah, bring
- 12:33Speaker 12: them in receipt like for anything basically anything.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Well, wasn't there there was something with a
- 12:41Speaker 2: bag fee that now got you off of Like yeah, dude,
- 12:45Speaker 2: like you're submitting.
- 12:46Speaker 8: I'm submitting I'm finally just kidding showing I'm just gonna
- 12:49Speaker 8: be one of those losers that brings their own bag
- 12:51Speaker 8: to the door.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Or and I've they got me. I folded.
- 12:55Speaker 8: I try to hold out for like a decade and
- 12:57Speaker 8: not bring your own bag type person. And I'm just
- 13:01Speaker 8: gonna go on Amazon and buy these reusable bags. Because
- 13:05Speaker 8: when I was at the airport with you just recently,
- 13:07Speaker 8: just at the airport, the bag was fifty cents. Then
- 13:10Speaker 8: I go to the grocery store the other day, it's
- 13:12Speaker 8: eighty cents for the bag, like okay, and Gray goes
- 13:17Speaker 8: and he's he's told me this forever and I didn't listen.
- 13:20Speaker 8: He's like, if you add that up over the course
- 13:23Speaker 8: of the year, I'm getting like crazy money on bags.
- 13:27Speaker 8: I was just recently when I again, when I went
- 13:29Speaker 8: to go buy some merch somewhere, two dollars for the bag.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So I bought a hole. I told you, like a
- 13:35Speaker 2: like a giant disposable one. It's not a role. It's
- 13:38Speaker 2: like they like you would see in the grocery store
- 13:40Speaker 2: where they hook them onto the two yeah arms, yeah yeah.
- 13:43Speaker 2: And but these are not even like the really thin
- 13:46Speaker 2: old school grocery bags. These are the ones that used
- 13:48Speaker 2: to replace those with that you were supposed to be
- 13:50Speaker 2: able to use more than once. I bring in all
- 13:52Speaker 2: the time I was the less green than the normal one.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I've got easily five hundred of these steps, right, and
- 14:01Speaker 2: what I should start doing, just to make a point
- 14:05Speaker 2: is bring those in. Yeah you should, right, that's what
- 14:07Speaker 2: they're for. Yeah, but then throw them right away. Oh yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 2: stick it because then when I let everybody know, so
- 14:14Speaker 2: like when you're going through, you're like, oh no, I
- 14:16Speaker 2: have my own bags. Just so you know, after I
- 14:18Speaker 2: unload the groceries, I'll be throwing these directly in the garbage.
- 14:25Speaker 2: It's the principle then, so that I will not be
- 14:29Speaker 2: forced into using your bags, your fifty cent, I know,
- 14:33Speaker 2: your canvas, the no thank you.
- 14:35Speaker 8: So at least this one grocery story that I went
- 14:38Speaker 8: to where they charged me eighty cents for the bag.
- 14:40Speaker 8: They're at least trying, but I'm not going to do it.
- 14:42Speaker 8: They have a bin in the front. It says leave
- 14:45Speaker 8: a bag, take a bag, and I'm like, I'm not
- 14:47Speaker 8: gonna take some dirty target bag and use it. I'm done.
- 14:55Speaker 8: They got me.
- 14:55Speaker 3: When you bring your bags in, do you don't?
- 14:58Speaker 2: I don't bring bags in.
- 14:59Speaker 3: When you no, when you have your little black.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Oh for heresh, Yeah, that's my briefcase. I don't have.
- 15:05Speaker 2: We have really nice, high quality what do you show backpacks?
- 15:08Speaker 2: I don't know why I don't.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Use that, you're the only one.
- 15:10Speaker 2: But I think because I just put like drinks and
- 15:12Speaker 2: stuff like that in there. Or I'll have stuff like,
- 15:14Speaker 2: you know, materials like reading stuff or show prep that
- 15:18Speaker 2: we've written or whatever. I'll bring that in and out.
- 15:21Speaker 2: But it's all Yeah, I just think it's but when
- 15:23Speaker 2: you do that, that's my briefcase.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Do you throw that bag away every day?
- 15:27Speaker 2: No? I don't throw it away every day. Good. I'm like, well,
- 15:29Speaker 2: maybe I should now have said.
- 15:31Speaker 3: That, you know what, I think that's wrong.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and everybody will see. Everybody see everybody's just fine. Yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 2: the world will see. Right, that's exactly right. You become a.
- 15:39Speaker 12: Robot though, Like with me with canvas bags, I always
- 15:41Speaker 12: keep them in the truck of my car, and then
- 15:43Speaker 12: when I go to the store, they're in the trunk,
- 15:45Speaker 12: and then when you get home, you unload your groceries,
- 15:47Speaker 12: and before you do anything else, you go back to your.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Car put in the trunk.
- 15:51Speaker 3: You never ends up back in the.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Man. No, I'm digging in on this the way that
- 15:56Speaker 2: people dig it on sea bass with returning the carts. Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna be a stuff an ass about it.
- 16:04Speaker 11: And I find that they were usable.
- 16:05Speaker 13: Bag are much more helpful because because you can wear them,
- 16:11Speaker 13: you can bring more in from the car at one time.
- 16:13Speaker 13: Because you can put them all on your shoulder and
- 16:15Speaker 13: stuff and carry them all in.
- 16:16Speaker 11: It holds more groceries.
- 16:18Speaker 2: And the canvas bags, no, they don't.
- 16:21Speaker 8: They they're all like floppy and then like the second
- 16:25Speaker 8: you put something in it, like the close on it.
- 16:29Speaker 9: No.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I use like like bags from stores that have like
- 16:31Speaker 3: the cardboard bottom, you know, so they stand up straight.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Yeah, just do that. Not only will I throw them
- 16:36Speaker 2: in the garbage, Greg, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm
- 16:37Speaker 2: gonna I'm gonna bury them in my yard. Yeah, throw
- 16:40Speaker 2: them in the ocean. A new survey looking at prices
- 16:46Speaker 2: of things and they ask people how they feel about
- 16:49Speaker 2: dynamic pricing. Speaking of the grocery store, have you seen
- 16:52Speaker 2: the dynamic pricing stores has some difficults and walmarts and
- 16:57Speaker 2: stuff for doing it. The digital price tags. There's digital
- 17:00Speaker 2: price tags on the shelves, Gre, I have seen those. Yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 2: And I've seen videos like where someone's shopping and all
- 17:04Speaker 2: of a sudden, they kind of blank and then the
- 17:06Speaker 2: update with the new price. They could do it in
- 17:09Speaker 2: the in the moment. Sixty seven percent of people want
- 17:11Speaker 2: to see the use of those and the pricing surveillance
- 17:15Speaker 2: banned because but this is the dumbest reason. They don't
- 17:19Speaker 2: trust the stores not to increase prices whenever they feel
- 17:22Speaker 2: like it. They can anyway, It just takes any physical act.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Any business, you can decide right now. You know, they
- 17:30Speaker 2: can decide right now. You know what that gallon of
- 17:33Speaker 2: milk is now going to be thirty cents higher, and
- 17:35Speaker 2: as of right now that is. They'll put it in
- 17:37Speaker 2: their system. And the only difference is it's going to
- 17:40Speaker 2: take some worker to go grab a new new tag,
- 17:43Speaker 2: print a new tag off and put it on the
- 17:45Speaker 2: on the shelf, whereas this is just once they enter
- 17:47Speaker 2: it in the system, it just updates on the shelf.
- 17:50Speaker 2: That way, there's fewer people going to the weight to measurements.
- 17:52Speaker 2: People like Greg does, I will well the shelf said,
- 17:56Speaker 2: and then it gets locked.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Convenience. They're going to do it every second.
- 18:02Speaker 13: It could change by the time you pull something off
- 18:03Speaker 13: the shelf to the time you get.
- 18:04Speaker 11: To the register.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and can that could happen as well with the worker.
- 18:08Speaker 2: That could happen anyway, I guess the point because once
- 18:11Speaker 2: they put it into their system and the little back
- 18:12Speaker 2: office there, it's updated, so it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
- 18:16Speaker 2: If anything, it'll be quicker to let you know, like
- 18:19Speaker 2: what the price is on the shelf compared to what
- 18:20Speaker 2: it is now where they got to reprint it and
- 18:22Speaker 2: put it on there and.
- 18:23Speaker 8: You grab the item man walk away by the time
- 18:25Speaker 8: you get the restaurant updates.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yes, I get what people are saying. I mean, I understand,
- 18:30Speaker 2: but they can do that already, like any business can
- 18:32Speaker 2: decide right now where.
- 18:34Speaker 3: The legwork keeps you honest.
- 18:35Speaker 12: The way that you're stubborn about the bags, I'm stubborn
- 18:37Speaker 12: about my money. Like if it's ten cents difference, I
- 18:41Speaker 12: don't give a rats ask about the ten cents, but
- 18:43Speaker 12: it's my ten cents, right, so don't rip me off.
- 18:47Speaker 12: It's plain and simple. And if you have the tag,
- 18:50Speaker 12: honor the price the end.
- 18:52Speaker 2: That's it. We're all in agreement on that. I'm in
- 18:54Speaker 2: agreement with it on that. Yeah, I'm talking about this
- 18:57Speaker 2: this survey and problems changing there because people say the
- 19:00Speaker 2: reason they don't like is because they don't want stores
- 19:02Speaker 2: to be able to increase the price whenever they feel like, well,
- 19:04Speaker 2: that's that's how it works. But this is like surge already.
- 19:07Speaker 3: This is like, oh more people want it. Let's just
- 19:10Speaker 3: type that in real quick.
- 19:11Speaker 2: But that's that's how the market works. That is supply
- 19:14Speaker 2: and demand. That's like, that's the way it always.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Works, right, But at this pace, at this speed, just
- 19:19Speaker 3: by entering it in a button.
- 19:21Speaker 8: What are you saying like they can do that with
- 19:23Speaker 8: the worker.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I said, the leg work keeps them honest. They're not
- 19:26Speaker 3: going to dedicate an employee to go around and changing
- 19:29Speaker 3: the tags every five minutes, correct, when you can just
- 19:31Speaker 3: do it on the computer and it's fast and it's
- 19:33Speaker 3: free for them.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, they're going to do with the computer anyway, which
- 19:35Speaker 2: is changing it when you scan the barcode and it
- 19:38Speaker 2: shows up on their register of what it is. That
- 19:41Speaker 2: is as fast as it is. That's not getting any faster.
- 19:44Speaker 2: What's getting faster is getting an updated price to the
- 19:47Speaker 2: shelf on the tag.
- 19:49Speaker 13: Right, I guess that's that's what right? And men, you
- 19:51Speaker 13: might know this because you worked in a grocery store.
- 19:52Speaker 13: I thought that the deals and stuff changed by the day,
- 19:55Speaker 13: so like this is on sale today and if you
- 19:57Speaker 13: get here during this time and you know, it all
- 20:00Speaker 13: get spot up like great, and that's that.
- 20:02Speaker 11: And then the next day it'll be a different price
- 20:04Speaker 11: if it's there or whatever.
- 20:05Speaker 13: So are they frequently changing price in the middle of
- 20:08Speaker 13: the day.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know how it works.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I mean neither I was the same things I was.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I was a grocery store cashier when I was boy.
- 20:16Speaker 9: That was it.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't like people would haggle, trying
- 20:19Speaker 2: to haggle me on the price of my head. I'm fifteen, right,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I wanted to sear scanning and stuff. I don't know
- 20:26Speaker 2: what you want from me, Jeff Costco. Yeah, they're trying
- 20:29Speaker 2: to barter with me. I just want to go home
- 20:31Speaker 2: and Joe.
- 20:32Speaker 8: I've worked at three different grocery stores, and yes, we
- 20:34Speaker 8: have people there all day long, like changing prices.
- 20:36Speaker 13: Okay, because I know that there always used to be
- 20:38Speaker 13: at least like the flyers and stuff that go out
- 20:40Speaker 13: of the deals of the week, the deals that.
- 20:42Speaker 8: Wouldn't change in the middle of the day. If yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 8: there's like flyers going out for stuff, but yeah, but
- 20:46Speaker 8: there would be people changing stuff.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Okay, and Gina grad is standing mine, she's got the
- 20:56Speaker 2: trending news headlines.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Well, you know we've been following that case, that girl
- 21:00Speaker 3: Anna Kaepner, she's the one that was found dead on
- 21:02Speaker 3: that carnival cruise ship, like stuffed under the bed. Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 3: So now a federal judge is ruled that her sixteen
- 21:08Speaker 3: year old stepbrother, who's accused of killing her, he can
- 21:10Speaker 3: stay out of jail for now while heats for his trial.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Oh he's fine. Why, Yeah, Well he's been I.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Would do way less as a kid. I'd be like
- 21:18Speaker 2: on house arrest. Literally, yeah, I couldn't. I was so grounded.
- 21:21Speaker 2: He's been kill your sister and you're just out.
- 21:23Speaker 3: And you're like, now, think about what you've done. He's
- 21:26Speaker 3: being tried as an adult, and he's charged with first
- 21:28Speaker 3: degree murder and aggravated a sexual abuse after prosecutors saying
- 21:31Speaker 3: he sexually assaulted her and strangled her on the cruise.
- 21:34Speaker 2: So this is the point. First degree murder, Yes, murder
- 21:37Speaker 2: in the first degree, Yes, sexual assault.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Yes, he's not a threat to the community.
- 21:42Speaker 8: Being tried as an adult and police don't tell me,
- 21:45Speaker 8: he's saying with his parents.
- 21:46Speaker 2: In the meantime, you're just supposed to be out there.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Well, he something is the kind of persons.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Right, this is the kind of person who someone's got
- 21:54Speaker 2: maybe nothing to lose.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Yeah, right now, Well it's okay, you guys. The judge
- 21:59Speaker 3: decided he can day under strict house arrests with a
- 22:02Speaker 3: GPS monitoring while living with relatives.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Wow the relative. Yeah, I got a call for my sister,
- 22:10Speaker 2: my you know, nephew or something's in this kind of trouble. Yeah, hey,
- 22:13Speaker 2: can he come of it?
- 22:14Speaker 9: Oh?
- 22:16Speaker 2: With your GIF showed up?
- 22:18Speaker 8: And how's this guy not a flight risk? Wouldn't that
- 22:20Speaker 8: be your number one goal if you were well?
- 22:23Speaker 3: Speaking of that is sixteen But have you heard about
- 22:26Speaker 3: like the ankle monitors and how it's not like somebody's
- 22:30Speaker 3: just monitoring you twenty four hours a day. That thing
- 22:32Speaker 3: could be off for days before anyone figures it out.
- 22:35Speaker 3: It's a private company.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Put it on the dog exactly.
- 22:38Speaker 3: So uh, there he's living with relatives. The court is
- 22:41Speaker 3: considering moving him closer to where the trial is going
- 22:44Speaker 3: to be, which is scheduled in September. But yeah, he's
- 22:47Speaker 3: definitely feeling the weight of his punishment. Right now.
- 22:49Speaker 11: Yeah, and the stepdad's pissed that he's still out.
- 22:52Speaker 13: Obviously that was the girl's dad, and he's like, why
- 22:55Speaker 13: are they doing this?
- 22:56Speaker 11: Yeah, like he's really pissed.
- 22:57Speaker 3: It's pretty gross. Well, we talked about Matthew Perry's living assistant,
- 23:01Speaker 3: Kenneth Ewamasa. He got sentenced and now we know he's
- 23:05Speaker 3: about to spend three well basically three and a half years,
- 23:07Speaker 3: three years and five months in federal prison for injecting
- 23:10Speaker 3: Perry with the kenemine that killed him. And prosecutors say
- 23:13Speaker 3: Kenneth became much more than an assistant. He was basically
- 23:16Speaker 3: Perry's drug supplier and injected him a bunch of times
- 23:19Speaker 3: obviously medical day.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a weird looking dad. Weird looking like seemed
- 23:23Speaker 2: like he was all smiling and happy.
- 23:25Speaker 12: Right, and what an odd chore to have for the
- 23:27Speaker 12: guy you work for. I'm going to inject you now.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Well, remember when we were like the other day, we're like,
- 23:32Speaker 3: what's a living assistant when you need round the clock
- 23:35Speaker 3: ketamine doses? Iwamasa has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute
- 23:39Speaker 3: ketamine resulting in death, but he did cooperate with investigators,
- 23:43Speaker 3: which helped them build that wider case. In total, five
- 23:45Speaker 3: people have been convicted in connection with the death, and
- 23:48Speaker 3: a lot of that was because of him. Well, Packer's
- 23:51Speaker 3: running back Josh Jacobs has been led out of jail
- 23:53Speaker 3: while cops and prosecutors keep looking into the domestic violence
- 23:56Speaker 3: allegations against him. Jacobs was arrested in Wisconsin on a
- 24:00Speaker 3: bunch of charges like battery, property damage, disorderly conduct, intimidation,
- 24:05Speaker 3: and a felony strangulation charge, but prosecutors say they're not
- 24:09Speaker 3: ready to file formal charges yet. They would still need
- 24:12Speaker 3: more evidence before making a big decision. And Jacobsen his attorney,
- 24:16Speaker 3: they deny.
- 24:16Speaker 2: All of it.
- 24:17Speaker 3: They say he'll be cleared, and the Packers they're they're
- 24:20Speaker 3: not saying nothing right now.
- 24:21Speaker 12: We're talking about that the other day, about how NFL
- 24:23Speaker 12: players are constantly getting into trouble and how easy it
- 24:26Speaker 12: would be to stay out of trouble. Got a text.
- 24:28Speaker 12: I don't know if this is a fact or not,
- 24:30Speaker 12: but apparently when you're in the NFL and you need
- 24:32Speaker 12: a ride anywhere, all you do is call the NFL.
- 24:34Speaker 12: They'll pick you up anywhere, take you anywhere. So there's
- 24:38Speaker 12: no need for that for any DUI's ever ever, Ever.
- 24:41Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Extra're done well.
- 24:43Speaker 3: So stupid and Morgan not that you fall into this category,
- 24:47Speaker 3: but think of like boxing. You know, if you're being
- 24:50Speaker 3: paid basically all your wrongs, you're training stuff to be
- 24:52Speaker 3: in a sport that is super high contact, super on
- 24:55Speaker 3: the offense, you got to be mean, you gotta be tough.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Like maybe some people just can't turn that off.
- 25:00Speaker 12: I think it's like that with box or stubbornness. I'm
- 25:03Speaker 12: not going to call for a ride.
- 25:04Speaker 10: I can do it right, or like, look at all
- 25:06Speaker 10: this stuff I have in my life, let me enjoy.
- 25:07Speaker 3: It, and I've gotten, you know, I've gotten where I've
- 25:10Speaker 3: gotten successfully in my career by like pounding somebody else
- 25:13Speaker 3: into the ground. Why can't that work in regular life?
- 25:16Speaker 11: And just ego in general?
- 25:17Speaker 14: Right?
- 25:18Speaker 3: Absolutely well. A former high ranking CIA official is accused
- 25:23Speaker 3: of stealing more than three hundred grand or the gold cash,
- 25:26Speaker 3: luxury items, all from the government and hiding them at
- 25:30Speaker 3: his house in Virginia. Investigators say David Rush claimed the
- 25:33Speaker 3: golden money were needed for work related reasons. You guys,
- 25:36Speaker 3: Oh but yeah. The suspicions led to an FBI raid. Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 3: they searched his place. They found gold bars, millions in
- 25:44Speaker 3: crash Rolex watches, and Rush spent decades in intelligence and
- 25:50Speaker 3: military service. He's now facing big charges and turns out
- 25:53Speaker 3: he's been lying to his employers about his background history
- 25:56Speaker 3: for almost two decades. So like, this is someone you'd
- 25:59Speaker 3: want to hire.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Is that good?
- 26:01Speaker 3: For now? Investigators are working to figure out whether anyone
- 26:04Speaker 3: else was involved with this, where all the missing stuff
- 26:06Speaker 3: ended up, what he's doing with it, they just don't know.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So he was able just to go in and say, hey,
- 26:11Speaker 2: I'm working on this case or working on this thing,
- 26:14Speaker 2: and you need to sign out the bars and like
- 26:17Speaker 2: sign out, I'll taking this with me. Yeah, it's like
- 26:20Speaker 2: the prop warehouse at a movie studio, exactly a nineteen
- 26:25Speaker 2: fifties time piece.
- 26:26Speaker 3: He digested for fingerprints in my bathroom.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy. Go I need a telephone of the era,
- 26:33Speaker 2: then just sign it out.
- 26:34Speaker 3: The princess phone. But who are the dummies like in
- 26:37Speaker 3: the you know, evidence room, that are like okay, sign
- 26:41Speaker 3: and yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 8: To question him if you slip them a gold bar.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeah that's true.
- 26:45Speaker 2: They keep their moush up like way too tempting. Yeah,
- 26:48Speaker 2: so then they just had to. So do they have
- 26:51Speaker 2: gold bars and roll exes and all these things? Like
- 26:57Speaker 2: I know, but where does it sit? Is it? Like
- 26:59Speaker 2: how the the Disney Archives. You know, we've been over there,
- 27:03Speaker 2: Like they have all this crazy stuff like locked away,
- 27:06Speaker 2: must have like a warehouse or and uh medicine. I
- 27:09Speaker 2: got to go and take a take a tour of this,
- 27:11Speaker 2: and they were like bringing out all this stuff like
- 27:13Speaker 2: well here's the original oscar that Walt Disney want.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Wow.
- 27:17Speaker 2: But like and then they sign it out and they
- 27:19Speaker 2: do the whole thing, but they just keep it in
- 27:20Speaker 2: this like cages. Yeah, well like a storage like a
- 27:23Speaker 2: very secure storage room or what I guess the FBI
- 27:27Speaker 2: and the CIA. They just got rolexes and.
- 27:29Speaker 5: Meth gold bars, tigers, yeah, tigers, endangered animals, whatever else
- 27:36Speaker 5: you might need.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I'm just going off stuff like Breaking Bad where it's
- 27:39Speaker 3: just an evidence room and everything's in cages and you
- 27:42Speaker 3: you know, unlock it, sign it out.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I'm sure it's like that too. But dude,
- 27:47Speaker 2: it's a giant magnet. Well we Greg and I were,
- 27:50Speaker 2: you know talking about like if you're a FBI, aged
- 27:53Speaker 2: cop or whatever law enforcement person, you have this big
- 27:56Speaker 2: bust and there's like millions of dollars. You just say
- 27:58Speaker 2: you found two hundred thousand, yeah, exactly. How easy would
- 28:01Speaker 2: that be these guys whatever whatever would get the case done? Right,
- 28:04Speaker 2: Like there was a million dollars there, let's just say,
- 28:07Speaker 2: but the threshold for it to be a felon, he's
- 28:09Speaker 2: anything over one hundred grand. You found two hundred grand?
- 28:12Speaker 12: Yeah, and then and then the thief would be easy
- 28:15Speaker 12: in a weird position because they would have to, you know,
- 28:17Speaker 12: be forced to say.
- 28:18Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, it was a million? Yeah, oh
- 28:21Speaker 2: it was, oh yeah, because we're going to believe you,
- 28:24Speaker 2: because that's not going to help their case, Like, how
- 28:25Speaker 2: did you end up with a million dollars? Two hundred
- 28:27Speaker 2: thousand dollars? While a lot of money is more reasonable
- 28:30Speaker 2: to think that somebody might have it than a million dollars?
- 28:32Speaker 3: Absolutely, you know.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Who are they going to believe? Life the cops? A
- 28:38Speaker 2: brand new seedws home?
- 28:42Speaker 15: Was it?
- 28:43Speaker 3: American gangster with Russell Crowe? He's the one that goes
- 28:46Speaker 3: against all the dirty cops, So no, no one will
- 28:48Speaker 3: help him?
- 28:50Speaker 2: Oh right right right?
- 28:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so you can't go against the you know, right,
- 28:55Speaker 3: I guess you're gonna have to take the money.
- 28:56Speaker 12: Remember that movie Mad Money with those women that were
- 28:59Speaker 12: supposed to their job was to destroy old crappy money.
- 29:02Speaker 12: But I got to steal it. It was so good
- 29:05Speaker 12: because that would be way too attempting too. They're just
- 29:07Speaker 12: taking tons of money and shredding it, so they figured
- 29:11Speaker 12: out how to steal it.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Nice, really good. Oh right, well that's what's going on
- 29:15Speaker 2: with Thank you very much, Gina grad.
- 29:20Speaker 10: Show.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Alright, talking about that former CIA official who stole like
- 29:28Speaker 2: three hundred thousand dollars worth of golden cash and luxury
- 29:32Speaker 2: items from the government and was hiding them in his
- 29:34Speaker 2: house in Virginia. Now that's a that's a justifiable firing. Sure,
- 29:40Speaker 2: there was another story this former broker for JP Morgan
- 29:47Speaker 2: who was just awarded some serious cash after a pretty
- 29:50Speaker 2: strange workplace dispute over a Super Bowl food order. Oh so,
- 29:57Speaker 2: here's what happened to broker. He was fired after they
- 30:00Speaker 2: had flagged a six hundred and fifty expense for a
- 30:04Speaker 2: deli platter and the food was for a small, preapproved
- 30:08Speaker 2: client gathering that he hosted at his house around the
- 30:11Speaker 2: Super Bowl. Now, JP Morgan argued it was more like
- 30:14Speaker 2: a Super Bowl party and treated the expense as a
- 30:17Speaker 2: violation of company policy, which is what contributed to his firing.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Now I do know people that work in this industry,
- 30:24Speaker 2: and it is so highly regulated about what they can
- 30:26Speaker 2: and can't do when it comes to things with clients. Meaning,
- 30:31Speaker 2: if I'll give you an example, I have a financial advisor,
- 30:35Speaker 2: and my financial advisor is through Merrill Lynch. Okay, and
- 30:41Speaker 2: Merrill Lynch has to follow all these things. He is
- 30:44Speaker 2: not allowed to send me a birthday card without it
- 30:50Speaker 2: going through the office protocol. Like he just can't as
- 30:53Speaker 2: my financial advisor goes, oh hey man, happy birthday and
- 30:56Speaker 2: send me a birthday card. It has to be something
- 30:58Speaker 2: officially done through company channels, and it has to get
- 31:01Speaker 2: signed off on and it has to be documented that
- 31:03Speaker 2: they're setting out this card.
- 31:05Speaker 3: I thought it'd be the other way around that.
- 31:08Speaker 2: No, no, because it's so highly regulated. Yeah yeah, like
- 31:12Speaker 2: there's uh you know, you know, all conversation has to
- 31:16Speaker 2: happen through official Merrill Lynch email, like with the email address,
- 31:21Speaker 2: so no personal cell phone. Like if he's talking to me, nothing,
- 31:25Speaker 2: he can't have a conversation with me about the super
- 31:27Speaker 2: Bowl as an example, but anytime any kind of business happens. Hey, man,
- 31:32Speaker 2: I got to call you back from the business phone,
- 31:35Speaker 2: and he's back from the cell phone that's for the business,
- 31:39Speaker 2: that's for Merrill Lynch. Yeah, investigate that for sure. It's
- 31:43Speaker 2: not about like anybody's on there listening or whatever. It's
- 31:46Speaker 2: just like that's the rule, and it's so highly regular.
- 31:48Speaker 2: It's like it's it's big, big problem trouble.
- 31:52Speaker 8: I have a friend that does something similar, similar and
- 31:54Speaker 8: in his voicemail he has to have instructions like don't
- 31:58Speaker 8: you know, leave any business in front in voicemail or anything.
- 32:02Speaker 2: So anyway, the guy pushed back on this because he
- 32:05Speaker 2: got this deliplatter. Yeah, I mean it's a lot of
- 32:07Speaker 2: this has a been delay and I don't know how
- 32:12Speaker 2: many people he had over to his plaser. Anyway, he
- 32:14Speaker 2: pushed back. He took the case to arbitration because that's
- 32:17Speaker 2: what his employment agreement called for, claiming to the bank
- 32:20Speaker 2: in this case, JP Morgan exaggerated or mischaracterized what you
- 32:24Speaker 2: know actually happened just to justify terminating him. So the
- 32:27Speaker 2: arbitrator sided with the guy, saying that he was wrongfully
- 32:31Speaker 2: fired and then his employment record should be cleaned up
- 32:33Speaker 2: so it doesn't show a termination. Okay, fine, And he
- 32:36Speaker 2: originally had asked for like tens of millions of dollars
- 32:40Speaker 2: in damages, and which they did. They didn't go that far,
- 32:44Speaker 2: but they awarded him four point twenty five million for
- 32:48Speaker 2: a six hundred and forty two dollars deli platter plus
- 32:53Speaker 2: interest in fees, which is, you know, a pretty significant
- 32:56Speaker 2: win for what started, you know again, some catering, which
- 33:00Speaker 2: was pre approved. He said, pre approved. Wow, lucky. Yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 2: I mean you can smear my reputation till the end
- 33:08Speaker 2: of time. Yeah, I don't know. Well, here's the thing.
- 33:10Speaker 2: If he's I don't know what he's doing. He's a broker,
- 33:13Speaker 2: so who knows how much he was making right, so
- 33:16Speaker 2: that you know, he could have ended up over the
- 33:17Speaker 2: next handful of years until he retired making way better
- 33:20Speaker 2: than that, which is probably why I was asking for
- 33:22Speaker 2: tens of millions of them. Right, but still four point
- 33:25Speaker 2: two five take it?
- 33:27Speaker 12: Yeah, not ban Wait, so back to this birthday card thing.
- 33:31Speaker 12: If he's at home on a random Tuesday and it's
- 33:34Speaker 12: your birthday coming up, he can't do it from home
- 33:36Speaker 12: just now with a grocery store birthday card.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Nope, that is so well it has to come from
- 33:41Speaker 2: the office, has to go through like and then somebody
- 33:43Speaker 2: else at the office has to like log it that
- 33:45Speaker 2: they sent this prison. Well, so they sent this card.
- 33:49Speaker 13: Is the purpose so that they know people aren't stealing
- 33:51Speaker 13: clients or something or what's the prison?
- 33:54Speaker 3: It's not a conflict of interest, I'd imagine.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I forget exactly, like, yeah, it's it's it's all
- 33:59Speaker 2: about you know, inside you know whatever preferential treat like
- 34:05Speaker 2: is the is the broker receiving some type of benefit
- 34:10Speaker 2: or bride or yeah. I don't know. I don't. I don't.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I don't pretend to understanding. I just know what the
- 34:16Speaker 2: rules are, you know.
- 34:19Speaker 3: So strange your birthday cards always look rifled through like jail.
- 34:22Speaker 8: I remember, you know, our our station that we used
- 34:27Speaker 8: to work at used to be down the street from Levi's,
- 34:29Speaker 8: and Levi's was like huge fans of our show and
- 34:32Speaker 8: they're like, oh, we're gonna send a bunch of stuff
- 34:34Speaker 8: over and then they go, oh, can you mention it
- 34:36Speaker 8: on the air, And we said, sorry, I can't do that.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I can't do it. Oh well, yeah, we have rules
- 34:42Speaker 2: with radio payola plug.
- 34:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 2: In fact, I think I told you there was a
- 34:46Speaker 2: guy in our company that just got busted not that
- 34:49Speaker 2: long ago. He had his entire wedding paid for because
- 34:53Speaker 2: he went out to like the people who do you know,
- 34:56Speaker 2: the chair rentals or the the flowers, and said, all right, well,
- 34:59Speaker 2: well we'll mention need a certain number of times on
- 35:01Speaker 2: the radio in exchange for the whole thing was paid for.
- 35:04Speaker 2: And it was just things he was doing because he
- 35:06Speaker 2: had a show, and he but it's not your it's
- 35:10Speaker 2: not yours to sell writing for personal for personal game, right,
- 35:15Speaker 2: So they found out. They found out about it because
- 35:18Speaker 2: the people that he had done the business with were
- 35:20Speaker 2: calling to the sales managers and to the guy who
- 35:22Speaker 2: were like the general manager of the entire radio station,
- 35:26Speaker 2: going like, hey man, we haven't really heard any of
- 35:28Speaker 2: our yeah exactly. They're like, what what are you talking about?
- 35:34Speaker 2: And that's how that's how. That's how he got busted.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Now here's what's crazy. They fired him. That's about federally
- 35:41Speaker 2: against the law. It's not even the radio station's policy,
- 35:44Speaker 2: of the company's policy. It's a federal thing. Like the
- 35:46Speaker 2: same way like I can't take any kind of money
- 35:49Speaker 2: from a band or a record label or whatever to
- 35:53Speaker 2: play their song that's called payola, right plug Ola is
- 35:57Speaker 2: what this guy was doing is you know, receiving personal
- 36:00Speaker 2: goods or services in exchange for mentions on the air.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Now you can advertise, you could be an advertiser and
- 36:06Speaker 2: do a trade, but that has to be through the company.
- 36:08Speaker 2: They get a documentation channels. The proper channel is the
- 36:11Speaker 2: whole thing. I just can't go and do it as
- 36:14Speaker 2: Woody and just tell people people offered. All the time.
- 36:17Speaker 2: They'll go like, hey, so, uh we could work something.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I go, dude, I can't. We're gonna send you some
- 36:20Speaker 2: sandwiches if you that's worth my career. No, I can't
- 36:24Speaker 2: anyway anyway, So this guy who violated the federal law,
- 36:29Speaker 2: and we have training all the time. It's not a
- 36:31Speaker 2: secret before you go, oh, you know what, I just
- 36:33Speaker 2: didn't really know. No I didn't. I didn't know. Now
- 36:37Speaker 2: we watch hours of videos. He turned around and sued
- 36:40Speaker 2: the company for wrong full termination. How is that wrong?
- 36:43Speaker 2: You know why? Because it's what people do, because they go, oh,
- 36:46Speaker 2: I'll file this and even though I am completely in
- 36:49Speaker 2: the wrong, I'm just going to try to get a
- 36:51Speaker 2: little bit of extra money out of the company because
- 36:53Speaker 2: they'll settle they're not going to want to spend the
- 36:54Speaker 2: time with the lawyers and whatever. But guess what they
- 36:57Speaker 2: did with this guy? What No, I'm saying, No, they
- 37:01Speaker 2: didn't settle. They're like, no, because we're to fight that. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 2: and guess what he got nothing good?
- 37:06Speaker 3: Yeah, he got exactly what he needed.
- 37:08Speaker 2: He got free wedding.
- 37:11Speaker 11: That's expensive.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Yeah, he got another. Oh here, this is a This
- 37:14Speaker 2: is just an FII for HR related things. This is
- 37:17Speaker 2: this woman. She's an HR expert, and she says these
- 37:22Speaker 2: are things that basically HR doesn't want you as an employee,
- 37:26Speaker 2: doesn't want you to know.
- 37:27Speaker 16: Here five things HR knows that you do. Not One,
- 37:30Speaker 16: you have twenty one days to sign the severance agreement.
- 37:33Speaker 16: If you're over forty, they know it. They hand you
- 37:35Speaker 16: a pen anyway and expect you to sign it right then.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I didn't see. I didn't know that.
- 37:38Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Yeah, they usually go o, hey, we need to know
- 37:41Speaker 2: by the end of business tomorrow in an hour usually yeah, minutes.
- 37:45Speaker 2: And I don't know why over forty matters.
- 37:46Speaker 3: It's a protected class.
- 37:48Speaker 2: But even still, like I would think of just employee
- 37:50Speaker 2: protection like an exit agreements and exit agreement like you
- 37:54Speaker 2: would have yeah, but I.
- 37:55Speaker 11: Guess to have time to have someone look it over
- 37:57Speaker 11: for you.
- 37:58Speaker 3: I don't know, twenty one days.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's fine. And sometimes hey, look I could
- 38:02Speaker 2: have the flu today. I call my doctor. You know
- 38:04Speaker 2: how long it takes to get me in. They go, well,
- 38:05Speaker 2: we can see you in October. I have the flu today,
- 38:09Speaker 2: So twenty one days doesn't seem that long.
- 38:11Speaker 9: Aer Two you can request your personalfa and whatever is
- 38:14Speaker 9: already in it has probably been in there for a while. Three.
- 38:18Speaker 9: A PIP has a predetermined end in most cases.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so a PIP a performance improvement plan. So like
- 38:25Speaker 2: you do your review and they go, well, we're going
- 38:27Speaker 2: to put you on a performance improvement plan. You're basically
- 38:31Speaker 2: on probation. Yeah, they go, you know, you're not really
- 38:34Speaker 2: meeting your sales goals, you're not meeting whatever. Uh here,
- 38:39Speaker 2: we're gonna come up with a plan. This is a
- 38:41Speaker 2: we're gonna start doing this x y Z. We're gonna
- 38:43Speaker 2: start doing this x y z, and then we're going
- 38:45Speaker 2: to review this in two months. Is what the what
- 38:48Speaker 2: those things typically call for. But she's saying that's all.
- 38:50Speaker 9: BS has a predetermined end. In most cases, they decided
- 38:53Speaker 9: the outcome before you ever signed the first page. Four.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so like they put you on this just to
- 39:01Speaker 2: create the paper trail, just so they can fire you,
- 39:04Speaker 2: give you your exit paperwork and tell you have to sign
- 39:07Speaker 2: it before you walk out of the building, even though
- 39:08Speaker 2: you have twenty one days, which they don't tell you, which, yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 2: which they don't tell you.
- 39:12Speaker 9: All right, here, let's go back and in there for
- 39:14Speaker 9: a while. Three, A pip has a predetermined end. In
- 39:17Speaker 9: most cases, they decided the outcome before you ever signed
- 39:21Speaker 9: the first page. Four, Your exit interview is not confidential.
- 39:25Speaker 9: That room isn't closure. It's a deposition with coffee. And
- 39:29Speaker 9: five you do not have to sign anything the day
- 39:32Speaker 9: they walk you out. The deadline they gave you is
- 39:35Speaker 9: not real. The urgency is just not for the reason
- 39:38Speaker 9: that they.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Said, Yeah they have urgency, all right, but it's not
- 39:42Speaker 2: for the reason that they're telling you interesting. They just
- 39:45Speaker 2: want you to sign it because as soon as you
- 39:47Speaker 2: sign it, they relieve them of you know, yeah, all
- 39:49Speaker 2: kinds of all kinds of stuff. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Can we if we can just pull our files at
- 39:53Speaker 3: any time? Can we all pull our files? Be fine?
- 39:57Speaker 2: Oh, this is going in your.
- 39:58Speaker 3: File let's if we have a file.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I want it. Can you do it as an
- 40:03Speaker 2: active employee or can you only do it? Are you
- 40:06Speaker 2: just in it is like your credit report, you can
- 40:08Speaker 2: see it at any time or I don't know.
- 40:10Speaker 3: That's what she was implying.
- 40:11Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 40:12Speaker 3: We should read files and guess who's.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Human resource is not there for the employees, there to
- 40:17Speaker 2: protect the company. Of course, every single time you go,
- 40:19Speaker 2: try to fight our HR department and see if you
- 40:21Speaker 2: can go right on just to have an HR person here.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Now they don't they it's a it's a center, Oh yeah,
- 40:27Speaker 2: and you have to call them, and it's just it's
- 40:30Speaker 2: one office that handles HR for the entire company, which
- 40:33Speaker 2: is in every single state.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I'll never forget. The last company I worked for, there
- 40:38Speaker 3: was a major layoffs and the HR woman had to
- 40:41Speaker 3: go around letting everyone go, letting everyone go. Little did
- 40:43Speaker 3: she know the last person she had to fire was herself.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Had to do all her own paperwork and then she
- 40:49Speaker 3: was gone.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, so the CEO of this financial technology business,
- 40:53Speaker 2: he was in the news because his name is Ryan Breslow,
- 40:59Speaker 2: and he hired his entire human resources team alleging that
- 41:03Speaker 2: they created more problems that didn't exist. They just they
- 41:06Speaker 2: create these problems that don't even exist, Like, uh, basically
- 41:11Speaker 2: those guys every once in a while, the fire bugs,
- 41:13Speaker 2: they set that they're a firefighter. They set the fire
- 41:16Speaker 2: to put the fire out. Kind of yeah, yeah that
- 41:20Speaker 2: the move is part of a thirty percent reduction in
- 41:22Speaker 2: the company's workforce, but said that all the company's problems
- 41:26Speaker 2: disappeared once I let hr go weird, weird crazy.
- 41:30Speaker 13: They made things way more difficult if I don't hear
- 41:32Speaker 13: about problems than there.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I we got to take a quick break more what
- 41:37Speaker 2: he shows. Next thing. Show will be right back The
- 41:43Speaker 2: Woody Show and we are into another hour for you
- 41:50Speaker 2: here on The Woody Show. Woody, Greg Ams, Gina Grad
- 41:53Speaker 2: Phones open eight seven seven forty four, Woody Text two
- 41:57Speaker 2: two nine eight seven finals. Follow us on on social media.
- 42:01Speaker 2: You can find us there at the Woody Show. Our
- 42:06Speaker 2: friend Dexter Holland from Offspring. He's a smart guy man.
- 42:11Speaker 2: He like a legit genius. Yeah he was. He was
- 42:14Speaker 2: going to be a doctor, that's what he wanted. He well,
- 42:17Speaker 2: that's what he went to school thinking he was going
- 42:19Speaker 2: to do, and then he ended up being Dexter from
- 42:23Speaker 2: Offspring things happened. Oh and you know, by the way,
- 42:27Speaker 2: also learned how to fly a plane. And he's a
- 42:30Speaker 2: certified flight instructor. He's atp rated. He's like, he's done
- 42:34Speaker 2: all these things. He got his master's in molecular biology.
- 42:38Speaker 2: He's just a smart guy. But he was speaking at
- 42:42Speaker 2: USC's commencement or you know, he was the commencement speaker.
- 42:46Speaker 2: That's cool at the USC graduation. Here's a little bit
- 42:49Speaker 2: of what Dexter from Offspring had to say as a
- 42:52Speaker 2: USC graduate.
- 42:53Speaker 14: I want to say that USC toornsiphe is where I
- 42:55Speaker 14: learned some of the most important skills of my life.
- 42:58Speaker 14: I learned that when you have a goal that carries
- 43:00Speaker 14: enough weight, it creates its own will, its own pull,
- 43:04Speaker 14: a force that's pulled me throughout and kept me moving
- 43:06Speaker 14: even when I was struggling. My own pressure came from
- 43:09Speaker 14: feeling pulled in two different directions, one towards science and
- 43:12Speaker 14: one toward art. You're told to pick a lane, and
- 43:15Speaker 14: it feels like a massive, heavy decision that you have
- 43:18Speaker 14: to stick with. But I've learned that life is an
- 43:20Speaker 14: iterative process. You try something, you make adjustments, and you
- 43:24Speaker 14: try again. Life is not a straight line, but a
- 43:26Speaker 14: series of pivots. Be prepared to pivot, especially if you
- 43:30Speaker 14: follow your passions. My path took me from education to
- 43:34Speaker 14: rock and roll and back to education. I hope you
- 43:37Speaker 14: find your dual life, that you harness the gravity of
- 43:40Speaker 14: your aspiration, because the gravity that pulls you also grounds you.
- 43:44Speaker 14: I hope you never feel forced to trade your aspiration
- 43:47Speaker 14: for a paycheck or your passion for a title. I
- 43:50Speaker 14: hope you find the space to be both a rigorous
- 43:52Speaker 14: thinker and a wild dreamer. We need people who can
- 43:56Speaker 14: solve the world's most complex problems with a scientist's precision,
- 44:00Speaker 14: but we also need people who can see the world
- 44:02Speaker 14: through an artist's eyes and heart. Don't just choose a career,
- 44:05Speaker 14: choose a life that is as messy and as brilliant
- 44:08Speaker 14: as you are.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Wow, he's a cool guy, man. I love that guy.
- 44:14Speaker 2: He's he's a nice dude. Man. That's so smart, it's
- 44:18Speaker 2: so genuine. You know, I'm gonna a I wrote that. Yeah,
- 44:28Speaker 2: I'm kidding. That's good. You know, you learn stuff as
- 44:33Speaker 2: you know, you get older, as you go along, and
- 44:36Speaker 2: you realize really kind of what's important, what people really
- 44:39Speaker 2: need to know and so when you have an opportunity,
- 44:41Speaker 2: I just know as a as a dad, I'm having
- 44:43Speaker 2: these conversations with my son or my daughter and just
- 44:46Speaker 2: trying to impart some of that experience or wisdom. And
- 44:49Speaker 2: it's not always well received no way, because you know,
- 44:52Speaker 2: you're seen as an idiot or what do you know?
- 44:55Speaker 2: You're just saying things because that's what you're supposed to say.
- 44:58Speaker 2: And I really wish when I was younger that I
- 45:02Speaker 2: would have been more open to hearing and heating heating,
- 45:08Speaker 2: you know, that that wisdom, that advice, because there was
- 45:12Speaker 2: so much waste of time. But same same thing I
- 45:16Speaker 2: say to my son on occasion. Now, I go, you
- 45:19Speaker 2: know what, man, I could sit here, because I could
- 45:22Speaker 2: sit here and I could tell you a thousand things,
- 45:25Speaker 2: and I've I've said to him, I could tell you these,
- 45:27Speaker 2: and I could try to get you at some point.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I just maybe just need you to experience it for yourself,
- 45:33Speaker 2: because then you're really Then you'll really see and hopefully
- 45:36Speaker 2: those things that you end up ignoring me and experiencing
- 45:39Speaker 2: for yourself aren't anything too too terrible, you know. But
- 45:43Speaker 2: sometimes you got to get burned to learn not to
- 45:45Speaker 2: touch the stove they'll see in the future and they'll
- 45:48Speaker 2: say Dad was here. We go this is this is
- 45:55Speaker 2: pretty good. People were asked what actually mattered in the
- 45:58Speaker 2: long run and what didn't Talking to people forty plus
- 46:02Speaker 2: so you know, really old people. Yeah, all these old heads. Health,
- 46:11Speaker 2: friends and getting a do my job and go home attitude,
- 46:15Speaker 2: that's what actually mattered in the long run. Somebody said,
- 46:18Speaker 2: spending time with family. The older you get, the more
- 46:20Speaker 2: you realize that you could you could lose loved ones
- 46:23Speaker 2: at any second. Make sure you value getting together more.
- 46:27Speaker 12: That's what Sammy's been saying.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, all of that is accurate.
- 46:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:34Speaker 12: And when you're a kid and adults say, oh, time flies,
- 46:37Speaker 12: the years go by so fast, and you say.
- 46:39Speaker 2: No, they do.
- 46:42Speaker 8: Summer felt like forever. Yeah, it feels like seconds, two seconds.
- 46:46Speaker 9: You know.
- 46:46Speaker 2: It's something people tell my wife and I and we
- 46:49Speaker 2: are like children listening to adults giving advice, and we go, please,
- 46:53Speaker 2: that sounds awesome. When people talk about, you know, empty
- 46:56Speaker 2: nesting and their kids get old and go to college
- 47:01Speaker 2: and you know they're out of the house. Yeah, or
- 47:02Speaker 2: graduate college and they're out of the house, We're like,
- 47:05Speaker 2: that sounds awesome.
- 47:06Speaker 3: You have.
- 47:08Speaker 2: And they're like sad about it. We're like, so I
- 47:11Speaker 2: don't know. I'm sitting here going like, oh I wish
- 47:13Speaker 2: I would have. You know what, Maybe it will come
- 47:15Speaker 2: and you will be bumped. Maybe maybe maybe you will
- 47:18Speaker 2: Maybe you'll just miss it. I think. So okay, So again,
- 47:22Speaker 2: people forty plus were asked what actually mattered in the
- 47:25Speaker 2: long run and what didn't? What doesn't matter? Getting so
- 47:28Speaker 2: lost in your milestone checklist that you forget to actually
- 47:31Speaker 2: live life? Sure makes sense. If you get on the
- 47:35Speaker 2: wrong train, get off the next stop. The longer you
- 47:38Speaker 2: stay on, the more expensive the return trip. Don't stay
- 47:41Speaker 2: in a bad relationship. You can waste decades trying to
- 47:45Speaker 2: change people or even yourself in order to make things work. Yeah,
- 47:49Speaker 2: that's good. People forty plus as what actually mattered in
- 47:52Speaker 2: the long run? What didn't I think people like on
- 47:54Speaker 2: their death better forty plus? What you think of yourself,
- 47:59Speaker 2: not what others think of you. Yeah, that's true. That matters.
- 48:03Speaker 2: You're learning that. Yeah, you're just talking about that. You
- 48:07Speaker 2: love quotes?
- 48:07Speaker 11: What is it what people think of me as.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Not my business, none of my business.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah that's good.
- 48:14Speaker 8: Yeah, there's a really good Yeah.
- 48:18Speaker 2: So I was in an her.
- 48:20Speaker 8: She's like, you know, she's like, what people say about
- 48:24Speaker 8: me on the internet is none of my business.
- 48:26Speaker 2: I just you know, do what.
- 48:27Speaker 10: I I love that classic.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a good one. This is actually from Billkuer,
- 48:34Speaker 2: former head coach Bill Cower.
- 48:37Speaker 3: That's what I was going to say.
- 48:38Speaker 2: You're never as good as you think you are, but
- 48:40Speaker 2: you're never as bad as they say you are.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Oh, also very good.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because you don't want to buy your own hype.
- 48:45Speaker 2: You don't want to be saying that. The opposite of
- 48:47Speaker 2: people feeling bad about themselves based on what other people
- 48:49Speaker 2: say are the people that just really think that they're
- 48:52Speaker 2: super awesome and buy their own hype. And you know
- 48:55Speaker 2: there's swaggy douchebags. God, I hate that.
- 48:58Speaker 3: I must be entitled to this because three people told me.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Uh mattered, sleep saying no, keeping friendships alive, learning to
- 49:07Speaker 2: cook didn't matter, staying late to impress a boss who
- 49:11Speaker 2: forgot my name after I left, buying stuff to look successful.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Every argument I quote one on the internet. Oh yeah,
- 49:21Speaker 2: the scoreboard at forty looks completely different than the one
- 49:23Speaker 2: at twenty five.
- 49:24Speaker 3: True hopefully, yeah.
- 49:26Speaker 2: True love. And then I'll give you one more knowledge
- 49:30Speaker 2: compounds don't stagnate or ever stop learning. Absolutely, yeah, people
- 49:36Speaker 2: forty plus res What actually mattered in the long run.
- 49:40Speaker 12: I have a new doctor who gave me a really
- 49:42Speaker 12: good quote because we had this really long consultation, and
- 49:46Speaker 12: I said, you know what, I feel like, I've never
- 49:48Speaker 12: had a good doctor. And he said, you have the
- 49:50Speaker 12: best doctor yourself. You're your best pati.
- 50:00Speaker 8: Species you are, you have the best doctor itself.
- 50:05Speaker 2: It's here, here you go. Morgan. What changed in your
- 50:10Speaker 2: life that made you care less about what people think
- 50:13Speaker 2: for you? It was following a cult leader, according I'm
- 50:26Speaker 2: happy for you. That's helped me, as president said, I
- 50:30Speaker 2: realized life is short and most people are too busy
- 50:32Speaker 2: worrying about themselves to notice me everyone else. Caring less
- 50:36Speaker 2: became easier once I treated other people's opinions like background noise.
- 50:39Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 50:40Speaker 2: This other person says, when I realized I couldn't take
- 50:42Speaker 2: people pleasing, I couldn't take people pleasing anymore, like it's
- 50:46Speaker 2: just enough, Like oh god, it's hard failed publicly at
- 50:50Speaker 2: something I really cared about. Once the worst case scenario
- 50:53Speaker 2: actually happens and you survive it, you realize most of
- 50:55Speaker 2: the stuff that you were afraid of was never that
- 50:57Speaker 2: serious after that, other people's opinions to stop hitting the
- 51:00Speaker 2: same way.
- 51:01Speaker 10: It's true and all true. Just willing to put yourself
- 51:04Speaker 10: out there and fail. That's the stuff, further than most
- 51:06Speaker 10: people are willing to take.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Absolutely And this person, I know you had a real
- 51:10Speaker 2: struggle turning thirty. God, I'm almost thirty two. Borderline suicidal, right,
- 51:17Speaker 2: This person said turning thirty made me value peace over approval. Yeah,
- 51:21Speaker 2: I agree with that. Yeah, good stuff. So you're living.
- 51:24Speaker 8: The other one I like is everything's cringe until it works,
- 51:28Speaker 8: and everyone's like, everyone thinks you're cringe, But then when
- 51:31Speaker 8: it works, they celebrate you and say how awesome it is.
- 51:34Speaker 10: But even just not even waiting to win, living and
- 51:37Speaker 10: cringe is a very powerful, brave thing to do, right,
- 51:41Speaker 10: And that's where the magic happens.
- 51:42Speaker 11: When you're out of your comfort zone.
- 51:44Speaker 8: Yeah, people constantly make fun of you and tell until
- 51:47Speaker 8: it works. It takes off and works, and they're like,
- 51:49Speaker 8: oh man, that's awesome.
- 51:50Speaker 10: But you've got to be willing to be cringe for Yeah.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a method to the madness here, this conversation.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Because ladies and gentlemen then annual tradition is waiting for
- 52:00Speaker 2: you next. Oh, but chucking, Gregry it's a while, yes, summer,
- 52:08Speaker 2: But would you have done that during training? But I would?
- 52:14Speaker 3: But checking creating, Yeah I was.
- 52:19Speaker 2: No, it's not it's not butt chugging. It's Greg Gory's
- 52:24Speaker 2: commencement address. Nice for the class of twenty twenty six. Yeah,
- 52:28Speaker 2: high school college, right, yeah, anybody, but Greg does a
- 52:33Speaker 2: great job of these because Greg is super smart and
- 52:35Speaker 2: super insightful and sensitive and all that stuff, and he's
- 52:37Speaker 2: such a great writer. Hey, yeah, thank you, And he
- 52:41Speaker 2: promises he didn't use AI, of course, not to write this.
- 52:44Speaker 12: And what did I tell you yesterday? The older I get,
- 52:46Speaker 12: the more disturbingly stupid I guess.
- 52:49Speaker 2: So this is probably gonna be dumber than last year.
- 52:54Speaker 2: But Greg will address the commencement addressed for Greg for
- 52:57Speaker 2: the class of twenty twenty six is coming up next week.
- 53:00Speaker 2: We are a heavy metal band.
- 53:02Speaker 11: I mean everybody knows that.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait, wait where am I the Woody Show?
- 53:11Speaker 2: Graduation promotions depending on uh what what what we're talking
- 53:17Speaker 2: about here? Like when you're going from kindergarten to first grade,
- 53:20Speaker 2: that's a promotion ceremony, that's right. Yeah, you're going from
- 53:24Speaker 2: fifth to sixth grade. We're promoting you. I know, that's
- 53:28Speaker 2: a that's more of like a newer thing. That's more
- 53:31Speaker 2: of a newer thing.
- 53:32Speaker 12: In kindergarten, they gave us a rolled up piece of
- 53:34Speaker 12: paper with nothing on it and put a ribbon around.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Parents. Yeah you parents get the photo. Yeah, junior high
- 53:46Speaker 2: into high school that was that was that was the thing,
- 53:49Speaker 2: and then obviously high school and then college. I think
- 53:51Speaker 2: those are the ones that are legit. All the other
- 53:53Speaker 2: ones are lame, kind of dumb. Yeah, But whether it's
- 53:57Speaker 2: high school or it's college, these are things that our
- 54:00Speaker 2: honorary doctorate recipient Greg Gory, oh wow, from the School
- 54:04Speaker 2: of Hard Ducks. He has his annual commencement address to
- 54:11Speaker 2: the class of twenty twenty six. My if I'm the
- 54:19Speaker 2: if I'm the dean or whatever, what do I How
- 54:22Speaker 2: do I address as students my student body? I guess
- 54:25Speaker 2: we all all right, everybody's here's here, Hey, people, here's
- 54:31Speaker 2: Greg Glory.
- 54:32Speaker 12: Well, ladies and gentlemen of the graduating class of twenty
- 54:34Speaker 12: twenty six. Each and every year, various commencement addresses will
- 54:38Speaker 12: make their way into the headlines, and they're generally filled
- 54:41Speaker 12: with platitudes. Now, for those of you who went to
- 54:44Speaker 12: the same high school as Menace, a platitude is an
- 54:46Speaker 12: overused statement, not a semi aquatic mammal.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you may hear.
- 54:52Speaker 12: A platitude here and there today, but not if I
- 54:54Speaker 12: can help it. Instead, I'm going to stick to the
- 54:56Speaker 12: spirit of honesty and reality, because sometimes if you want
- 54:59Speaker 12: something done the way you envision it, you just gotta
- 55:01Speaker 12: do it yourself.
- 55:02Speaker 2: So let me just.
- 55:03Speaker 12: Simply start by giving a resulting congratulations to you all.
- 55:07Speaker 12: It's been a hell of a year, a year during
- 55:10Speaker 12: which you and all of us have been put to
- 55:13Speaker 12: the test, a year where our wallets have been stretched
- 55:17Speaker 12: wider than a sphincter in prison, or MENACE's throat when
- 55:21Speaker 12: a celebrity walks through the door, or MENACE's mouth of
- 55:26Speaker 12: the Coachella VIP pavilion, or the elastic on MENACE's underwear
- 55:31Speaker 12: that one time with Diplo and a Betha. Now, if
- 55:36Speaker 12: you paid your own way, congrats, you did it yourself.
- 55:39Speaker 12: You learn just how cruel and uncarrying the world can seem,
- 55:43Speaker 12: and you learn that you too often have to do
- 55:45Speaker 12: it yourself if you don't know the difference between a
- 55:47Speaker 12: router and a modem. Do it yourself, make that call
- 55:51Speaker 12: yourself and have your friends hook them.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Up for you.
- 55:53Speaker 12: You gained weight, then you lost it, your neck ended
- 55:57Speaker 12: up looking like saggy lady bits. Well, guess what You're
- 56:00Speaker 12: calling your doctor friend and booking that surgical procedure all
- 56:03Speaker 12: by yourself, because now you're all set to learn about
- 56:08Speaker 12: the majestic healscape known as adulthood, where you're going to
- 56:11Speaker 12: need to download a nap that doesn't work in order
- 56:14Speaker 12: to get a better price at a grocery store that
- 56:16Speaker 12: doesn't honor their own pricing policies. Now you've heard that
- 56:20Speaker 12: old line it takes a village, And in most cases
- 56:23Speaker 12: that is not true at all. The village is understaffed
- 56:26Speaker 12: and underpaid, they don't care, and they probably quote work
- 56:29Speaker 12: from home on Fridays. But at least in one case,
- 56:32Speaker 12: it certainly does take a village. Have you heard about
- 56:36Speaker 12: Aurora Avenue in Seattle. The residents on Aurora Avenue have
- 56:40Speaker 12: been so frustrated by recurring gunfire and the long running,
- 56:44Speaker 12: increasingly deadly crime problems that the neighbors have started barricading
- 56:48Speaker 12: streets themselves. They are using planter boxes, dirt rocks, random
- 56:54Speaker 12: big pieces of metal to stop gunmen from speeding down
- 56:57Speaker 12: streets during shootings over turf disputes, or to keep people
- 57:01Speaker 12: from speeding down the street after a shooting over prostitution
- 57:04Speaker 12: and human trafficking. Now, sure, opponents to this idea say
- 57:07Speaker 12: it could delay fire crews and ambulances responding to emergencies.
- 57:11Speaker 12: But damn it, sometimes you gotta do it yourself. And
- 57:14Speaker 12: the neighbors rallied and they said, if our socialists may
- 57:17Speaker 12: or won't do it, damn it, we will. I mean all, babe.
- 57:20Speaker 12: It's truly a very sweet story. Now you're about to
- 57:23Speaker 12: enter a world with a do it yourself philosophy. You
- 57:26Speaker 12: want customer service, sorry doesn't exist anymore, do it yourself.
- 57:31Speaker 12: You want to ring up your nine dollars coke and
- 57:33Speaker 12: your seventeen dollars magazine at the airport, do it yourself
- 57:37Speaker 12: and be asked to leave a tip. You want to
- 57:39Speaker 12: hand your suitcase over to a desk agent as you
- 57:42Speaker 12: embark for.
- 57:42Speaker 2: That one vacation it took four years to save up for.
- 57:46Speaker 12: Oh no, no, get your boarding pass print that luggage tag,
- 57:50Speaker 12: toss that too, mey luggage onto the conveyor belt yourself.
- 57:53Speaker 12: You want a new console table, good luck, you need
- 57:55Speaker 12: a degree in architecture, You're gonna have fourteen leftover screws
- 57:58Speaker 12: and three unused alley wrenches because guess what, you're building
- 58:02Speaker 12: it yourself. Because the business world has said with resounding clarity, wait,
- 58:08Speaker 12: we used to pay people to do our tasks. Let's
- 58:11Speaker 12: have the customers do it.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Now. Let's hope you succeed in every way personally and professionally.
- 58:19Speaker 2: That is the hope for sure. Now I have this
- 58:22Speaker 2: one good friend. He hosts a morning radio show, and
- 58:25Speaker 2: his advice to me often fits a very different theme.
- 58:28Speaker 2: Don't do it yourself. Get a gardener, get a housekeeper,
- 58:31Speaker 2: have a mobile car detailer, have an in home messuse,
- 58:34Speaker 2: and when you travel, only go first class. Now, for
- 58:36Speaker 2: some reason, I have followed none of that advice. I'm
- 58:39Speaker 2: not sure why, but it might have something to do
- 58:42Speaker 2: with that wallet that now resembles the aforementioned inmates poo
- 58:46Speaker 2: poop pocket. But honestly, and really, even for those doing
- 58:50Speaker 2: it themselves, nobody even really knows what they're doing. Every
- 58:53Speaker 2: adult you ever admires is just sitting in a parking
- 58:56Speaker 2: lot getting life advice. From chat GBT. Your doctor is
- 58:59Speaker 2: just being symptoms into a computer and nodding confidently while
- 59:03Speaker 2: saying just keep an eye on it and show me
- 59:05Speaker 2: your penis and lose some weight. So do your best
- 59:09Speaker 2: to learn to do things yourself, cook a decent meal,
- 59:12Speaker 2: unclog a drain, know when to walk away when you
- 59:14Speaker 2: hear the terms circle back, and let's put a pin
- 59:16Speaker 2: in that. Independence not about individualism. It's about accepting that
- 59:21Speaker 2: help is currently unavailable because of high call volume. Life
- 59:25Speaker 2: really is just one giant do it yourself project with
- 59:28Speaker 2: zero instructions, bad hair days and bad lighting. Remember it,
- 59:31Speaker 2: nobody is coming to save you. And weirdly, it's kind
- 59:36Speaker 2: of the good news because it means you don't have
- 59:38Speaker 2: to wait for permission or approval or a time when
- 59:41Speaker 2: you're gonna suddenly feel ready, because you're never gonna feel ready,
- 59:44Speaker 2: and because most of life is just people improvising with
- 59:47Speaker 2: alarming confidence and alarming cockiness, and rest assured you will
- 59:51Speaker 2: have that one coworker who thinks he knows everything but
- 59:54Speaker 2: wouldn't know the meaning of self deprecation. If a ramdom
- 59:57Speaker 2: in the butt cheek like a syringe full of gonrhea
- 59:59Speaker 2: medica Now, these successful ones aren't necessarily the smartest or
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: even the most talented. They just figured it out as
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: they went along. So build your life, which you're going
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: to have to do cheaply at first, held together with
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: duct tape, preferably not guerrilla tape. And one day you
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: will look back at this strange trip that we're all
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: on and you're going to realize, against all odds and
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: against all expired passwords and endless apps that you'll have
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: to download just to order a goddamn cheeseburger, you actually
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: made it work.
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: Congrats Class of twenty twenty six ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Greg Dory, Yeah, that is awesome, big as always, Thank
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: you always, Greg, Thank you very nice, very thought out.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: It's brilliant, except for the David Ghetta whatever my face.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: All right, well there is Gregory oooop pockets. I think
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: that of all the things he said, that's the one
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: thing that Gina will take away from you. Remember that
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: forever more. What he show is coming up for you
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: next hang out, So what do you show? We'll return
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: It's what's up with What's going in SoCal Sports with
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Jeff ge and with another throwback Thursday Requests right after
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: an update on the sports Jeff G. What's up man?
- 1:01:27Speaker 16: What up?
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Good morning? What do you show?
- 1:01:28Speaker 17: The Dodgers won their fifth in row last night.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Tommy dead center field? Did he get enough? You body?
- 1:01:36Speaker 17: Jud Dodgers won four to one. Show Hey o Tani
- 1:01:39Speaker 17: money again, not only at the plate, which you.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Just heard, but on the mound as well.
- 1:01:43Speaker 17: He didn't even really have his best stuff, but he
- 1:01:46Speaker 17: didn't give up a hit and had seven CA's bad
- 1:01:49Speaker 17: news from last night, though, Dodger fans Tayl Hernandez heard
- 1:01:52Speaker 17: his hamstring running to first base. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
- 1:01:55Speaker 17: Dodgers are off tonight. By the way, a strange Dodger
- 1:01:58Speaker 17: story coming up in about thirty seconds ground for that,
- 1:02:01Speaker 17: Angels lost in Detroit. Same two teams today at ten
- 1:02:04Speaker 17: ten NBA Playoffs, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Spurs get
- 1:02:08Speaker 17: down tonight game six at five thirty. Spurs have to
- 1:02:11Speaker 17: win in order to stay alive and force the game seven.
- 1:02:14Speaker 17: And finally, this morning, Dodgers outfield prospect Kendall George suffered
- 1:02:18Speaker 17: an injury to his pateller tender while he was jumping
- 1:02:20Speaker 17: out of the way to avoid a bat fetching dog
- 1:02:24Speaker 17: while he was playing for double as Tulsa Drillers.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: So a picture of this.
- 1:02:28Speaker 17: Right, this dude scores a run and why he's running
- 1:02:30Speaker 17: from home plate back to the dugout at the same
- 1:02:33Speaker 17: time that batfetching dog comes running out of the dugout.
- 1:02:36Speaker 17: So Kendall tries to jump over him to avoid hitting him,
- 1:02:40Speaker 17: and when he does that, he hurts his pattel attendant.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Now listen, what do you show you? Guys know, I'm
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: a dog person.
- 1:02:44Speaker 17: I have three dogs myself, but having a dog that
- 1:02:46Speaker 17: fetches bats at a stadium is a great idea until
- 1:02:50Speaker 17: it is it time for that dog to find another job.
- 1:02:52Speaker 17: I'm JEFFG and that's your SoCal sports.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: All right, Jeff makes everything worse God rain, okay, Green,
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: but when your face snow show man Greg, we can
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: add something to your list of things. Then I don't
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: get why they're as expensive as they are. So I'm
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: trying to think fake fake house plants.
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: Fake house plants are okay, Like do you want to
- 1:03:31Speaker 12: have a mortgage or get a fake furn.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: It's a fake house plants. Audio furniture, audio furniture, an
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: outdoor patio furniture is a trillion dollars, umbrellas seventeen million dollars. Oh,
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: you need the front door for your house, like an
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: exterior door, billion dollars. I mean everything's exact billion. Everything's
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: expensive gas, expensive groceries, or expensive blind thing. If you
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: were just asking, that might be something good for, you know,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: young adults who are just getting out there on their own.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: And you would say, all right, how people would ask, Oprah,
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: how much a gallon of milk costs? Right? All right?
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Just if you had to guess, uh, you know, recent
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: college graduated person getting your first apartment, how much do
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: you think, let's just say you need to replace your
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: front door, how much would that be? That's a great
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: question and do It's just here's the thing. It's way
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: more expensive than you think, and it gets to more
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: expensive than you think to just absolutely ridonculous on the
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: on the price range.
- 1:04:32Speaker 12: A decent kitchen faucet. I would have thought, bugs, Well.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: I mean you can get you can still find it
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: pretty good for the motel exactly if you want to
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: do that, like like a home depot kind of kind
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: of thing, but way more than you would think. Dude.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: So I ended up and we can add windshields to
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: that list. Holy crap, the labor, the glass, the whole thing. Right,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: So I got this crack in my windshield. I can
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: count on I don't know three fingers my entire life,
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: how many times I've had a a piece of glass
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: to replace on the car. I seem to remember it
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: being a lot easier and a lot cheaper. It is not,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: it is not at all. I've replaced two windshields recently,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I can. I want to hear yours. Yeah, on the
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: cyber truck.
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: Well, the cyber truck because they were doing like standard
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: cleaning some cameras or stuff like my yearly whatever. The
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: cyber truck they called me, they said, oh, hey, we
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: accident only broke your windshield.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: It didn't cost me anything.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: But I remember a couple of years ago on the
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: Honda Accord, I had parked it on the street as
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: you do, and crazy methed out homeless guy was just
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: going around bashing things, and my windshield was one of
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: those things that was only three hundred bucks. Three that
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: delivered three hundred bucks came to me.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Did the whole thing well, it depends. Ye, that's a
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: hot to say, fifteen year old.
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: Also, it's like, do you get the windshield from like aftermarketplace,
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: or you get the windshield from the truck yeah yeah,
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: or you get fine or yeah yeah, or you get
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: it from the dealership and then the dealership. There's a
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: drastic difference.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Well because the other thing that makes it crazy, uh
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: now compared to maybe how it used to be, is
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: there's all these things that are that need to be calibrated.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: So rain sensor, if you have some kind of forward
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: facing camera that's built into it depends on the car,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: right like, but the more modern the car, the more
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: chance that you have something like that that's built in there,
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: like that connects.
- 1:06:37Speaker 12: Yeah, I don't know if they do it anymore. Remember
- 1:06:38Speaker 12: the old timey little pin stripes were antennas like in
- 1:06:42Speaker 12: the windshield.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, a little R defrosts on your ear. Yeah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: So not not so much that anymore. Now. It's more about,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: like I said, the the rain sensors and the camera
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: kind of stuff and that that that type of thing.
- 1:06:54Speaker 11: Yeah, it's a smart windshield.
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: I will say my cyber truck would have cost me
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: nineteen hundred bucks had I had to pay for it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Okay, So, uh, get this crack in the windshield with
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: the labor, and they this is the insurance price because
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I have the coverage because you know, when you get
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: the car, you sign up and you could do tiring
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: wheel and you can do windshield and blublahlah. So I
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: have the windshield thing. Somehow, I don't remember signing up
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: for that, because like I said, it doesn't happen very often. No,
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: it is out of pocket four thousand dollars the labor.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: The labor is twenty one holy And I said, what
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: what are you talking about? Are flying in a windshield surgeon?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Exactly exactly? And I was told and the woman's like, yeah,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: you know, you can call around. And I did call
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: around to a couple other places, and dude, it was
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: maybe two hundred dollars cheaper. Oh but what she was
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: letting me know. She goes, yeah, she goes, just so
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: you know, because here like we'll we'll completely disassemble everything
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: like some of the other they'll kind of just like
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: they'll chip at it, they'll chip it out and to
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: crash it out or whatever. And because it has all
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: these things, you got to take everything apart so that
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: way something else doesn't break in the process. Whatever she goes,
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: if it's a big difference. She goes, I would then
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: I wish I would take it somewhere else. Otherwise, if
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: it's a matter of just like a few hundred bucks even,
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: you know, I would trust us to do it just
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: because of the way. It'll take a little bit longer,
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: but it'll be done right, And I go all right,
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: And it was. It was a two hundred dollars.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: Difference, damn. And everything was no matter where you went.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: It was around four grand.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. The cheapest one I got was three thy
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: seven hundred change. Yeah.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: So what I did this recently too, and I was
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: shocked much a cost. But they you know, they glue.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: There's a glue. They have to like, don't get it wet.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, four hours. Yeah, so they're doing it. They're
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: doing it today right now, but I can't pick it
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: up until sadder day or something like that has to sit.
- 1:09:02Speaker 12: Yeah, and whatever the diamonds have to say.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: How much My mine was about a grand and I
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: thought I was gonna have art.
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: Yeah I have, Well, I have a dilemma to mine
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: my my windshield if you look at it, it looks like
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: as a bullet hole in it because I lock hit it.
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: And yeah, I took it in for an estimate, and
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: like to get the official official windshield from the manufacturer,
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: it will be like thirty eight hundred bucks, and then
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: to get it like after market, it's I think it's
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: like two thousand.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Oh right, yeah, so and the onlyly, the only difference
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: by the way between the one from the manufacturer, like
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: the you know, whatever the brand of the vehicle is
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: is they'll have their little logo in the bottom left
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: corner that nobody see. Super Yeah it's it. Oh yeah,
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: it's because that's that's the only.
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: But then you have insurance take care of it. And
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: then the insurance DEDUCTI bowl is like a thousand so like.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: After I replaced, after they replaced my windshield on the
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: cyber truck, they I started getting messages they're offering a
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: thirty five dollars a month windshield insurance. Oh really, it
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: says it's a free winshield every twelve months with only
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: one hundred dollars deductive.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: You know what, that's not a bad idea.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: So what I worked in auto glass, One of the
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: most expensive windshields I ever saw was twelve hundred bucks
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: just for the glass for a land rover.
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: Yeah, you should be twenty one hundred dollars of labor
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: even at whatever.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Two hundred dollars an hour? How many How long is
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: that take? Well, they have to unplug the little sensors
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: for the rain and.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: Take at your next to it while the blue dries.
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: Am I getting a windshield? Or am every Bailey defending
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: me against?
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Yeah? At the list of things that are just like
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: abnormally expensive, I didn't, although I mean glass. Anytime you
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: need glass.
- 1:10:49Speaker 12: For anything, glass is always expensive expensive. I recently got
- 1:10:52Speaker 12: new glasses for the first time in ten years, glasses,
- 1:10:55Speaker 12: and I got the frames picked out and they said, oh,
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: this is going to be whatever four hundred and the
- 1:11:00Speaker 12: lenses are three fifty.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: I thought, oh, I forgot. Lenses aren't part of glasses,
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: it's just the frame sleek. Oh then, and then do
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: you want the whatever coating on them, the anti glare more?
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: You do?
- 1:11:12Speaker 12: All in it was like seven fifty eight hundred bucks
- 1:11:14Speaker 12: for glass.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: And then you come to find out they're all made
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: the same factory, and the cheap ones go this way
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: and the expensive ones go this way. It's all the
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: same thing. Unreal, It's crazy. I did the same thing
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: because I'd never worn glasses before. And that's like people
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: pay for five hundred dollars.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Quoting doesn't include the lenses. It's the cost of the
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: electrical cameras, et cetera, not the glass.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: But it started getting labour's twenty one hundred though. That's yeah, right,
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: that's labor you're right, Yeah.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: I guess it takes four months to do. I guess, so, yes,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I guess. So eighty four wood The Woody Show, And
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: into another hour you're on The Woody Show, Woody, Greg
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: yel there's Menace High. We got grad c Mass, Yeah
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: he has. This week in audio, we got some uh
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: some food news slash media news here.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: Okay, this is a an anchor on Good Day Lubbook
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: that's the Fox affiliate and all these Good Day shows.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: That's light news. They're just kicking stuff around. Let's the
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: anchors have a chance to kind.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Of improvise chat show. Yeah chat you know, it's usually
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: like the nine o'clock hour TV. People are really great
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: at ad libbing too.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: Oh yeah, well, let's let's finish here. They are discussing
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: the new bts. That's the kpop super sensation Megaband. They
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: have a new Oreo collab Ooh, they gonna tell us
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: all about it.
- 1:12:37Speaker 18: Oreo is releasing a limited edition BTS themed cookie.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Couldn't name one BTS song and baffles me.
- 1:12:44Speaker 10: I mean, I'm sure they're great, obviously, they keep winning
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: every award and they're always trending, but I literally cannot
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: think of one song.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: Cookie's wafer is BTS signature color Purple.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Wafers are also engraved with one of thirteen.
- 1:12:58Speaker 17: Designs which spell out a message to fans when put together,
- 1:13:02Speaker 17: and that is death to America.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: That was not cut, That was not edited time. Uh,
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: there there was more to it. Well indeed, so that's
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: that's what he said. That was that's the line. Yeah,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: that wasn't the end of the statement.
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: That's the part that got clipped and put on Twitter,
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: yes exactly, which is where BTS fans live and they breed.
- 1:13:27Speaker 17: Uh.
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: And by the way, there's nothing Menacessin said a thousand
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: times at manson all platforms about bt S.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Let's continue. That is death to America, which I think
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: is really straight. It's not I made that up. See
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: that's the part that people are clipping out. Of course. Yeah,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: like they ended with the death to America and they
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: left that. They left that run online on social media.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Freaks out.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's exactly how I went was death.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: To America, which I think is really straight.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: So here's the thing. I grew menace on social media.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: What menace is saying?
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: Yes, if that was on SNL, I would think that's
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: kind of a weak joke, but off the cuff from
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: a good day lubbook news.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Agg what you don't expect it coming. I like that joke.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Ya look at that.
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: I think for him Sea Bass giving the man his flowers,
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: as likes to say.
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: I say all the time, for that environment and humor
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: is the unexpected. That was highly unexpected, right, And I
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: you know, of course I looked. I looked on their
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: social media. There's the customary twenty four hour outrage, which
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: we've dealt lo here a number of times, and that'll
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: go away in a day or two.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: They're trying to get him fired. He does like he
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: does like guest lecturing at some Oh stop it. Well
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: it's the BTS fans, Okay, Well, I know K pop
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: and everybody can't wait to talk about what a huge
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: K pop fan they are. This is the same as
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: the people who wear the T shirts that don't listen
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: to the band, Right, they have the shirt they don't
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: name one Nirvana song just because they sell any target. Right,
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: I'm convinced it's a fashion. It's not really a fandom.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: It's just that people say that they're into this. It's
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: trendy because you name one like God, name one song,
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: go to one hundred people on the street, name one song.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: I don't think anybody our age.
- 1:15:20Speaker 8: But so I don't know how it's grasped children off
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: the top.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Of Demon Hunter, Yeah kids, yeah, the k Demon Hunter, I.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Guess that movie.
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: Yeah, kids can name all this stuff.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: But the BTSC do you guys haven't heard smooth like but.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: But yeah, dynamite?
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: When when the last time I went to Coachella, they're
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: they're the one group of fans that were lined up
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: for the opening of the gates or the black Pink fans. Yeah,
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: and they were. They were outside before the gates opened.
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: They were going to stand in front of that stage
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: for twelve hours.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Is it because they're into the music or again my
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: question and I'm not saying they all look to be
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: like sixteen year old size, right, is it just the trend?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: In the fad of it is the fashion so to
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: speak of it, or I said, like, man, this is
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: just really good. It's the way that we were into
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: the actual music or the actual whatever it was.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: Because when you listen to the music, real thing or
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: is it just a it's no different than any other
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: thing boy band of the past thirty years, except in
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: some of it's in a different language.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: And we see it here.
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: How many times have you walked out the front door
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: and there's a line of fifteen girls waiting for something
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: We have artist signing that we've never heard of. Yeah,
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: we never heard it, never will again. It's the flavor
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: of the of the year. Pts areos though, manuts.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the death to America Oreos. You've heard it here. Yeah,
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: they're trying to get them fired. How stupid. Well, that's
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: what they do.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: This weekend audio, this is some audio that's sort of
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: becoming immortalized online. We had the latest one, the latest
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: shooting at the White House over the weekend, and it
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: caught the NBC News anchor Julie Sirkin.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: She was she was set up.
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: It's so funny to well, the audio is funny in
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: a way. Uh, ironically, but she's like clueless. She's looking
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: around as she's hearing this.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: What is that on Saturday.
- 1:17:25Speaker 18: Afternoon, middle of the day?
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Could that be at the White House? Everyone? So what's
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: funny is that people are taking her video where she
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: turns around like what is and they're editing into green
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: major green screen into other things. It's so funny. Checked
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: out what he produce her?
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: I put a the folsome street f in the background,
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: a bunch of furries Joe in each other?
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: What what is that? What is that? And one of
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: the funniest things is true the look on her face, like,
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: oh my god, the little side eye Chloe girl grew up.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Remember this little mean girl, the little girl in the
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: back seat.
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: And she's given that kind of side eye. And let
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: me say this about Julie Serkin. I've never seen her.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: I never heard of her before.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: She can get it by all.
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: What she's got that sort of like tired, tired look
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: look in her eyes.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Like pants right at what I think? What I think?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: What do you I think you like?
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Because she's got the girl next door, girl next door
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: brown hair, look, you know, shoulder lengthd hair.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: I don't like how shoulder how sheltered. She is, though
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: you know, I want, I wanna, I want a woman
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: who recognizes a gun shot. She seems too prissy for me.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: She seems irritated by it, and someone is that.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: Someone had to tell her, Hey, we're going to escape
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: right now, active shoot, etcetera.
- 1:18:41Speaker 8: Look how long that gunfire was before they're like, oh yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 8: let's leave.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: Somebody, Michael, it was.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: It was buried in the in the the gunfire. But
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: some guys like this sounds like fireworks.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: It usually does. This week in audio, h.
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: Morgan, bad news for you, as speaking of the White House,
- 1:18:58Speaker 5: the UFC event obviously come up soon. Of all people
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: to be against it, would you believe Joe Rogan. I
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: know he was talking to what's his name, Big Joe. No, no, no, no,
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: not that comedian, the big guy, the big guy who
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: does a lot of the UFC brapfing and has done
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: it since the beginning of the UFC. And this is
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: what they had to say, Oh let's get it on guy, No, no, no,
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: big something. I'll tell you a second.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: I don't like the idea of fighting outside at all.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: There's problems with it.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: And then June and it's DC and we looked it
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: up the last time, like last year, same day it
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: was one hundred degrees, Like, how are you gonna stop
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: the bugs? I just don't think that you should compete
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: in a World championship fight in a non controlled environment.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I think it should be inside an air conditioned arena.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: It should be a controlled environment, just like every like
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: you don't ask someone to do any of you.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: You wouldn't ask them to.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Play a World championship basketball game outside in the sun.
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: That would be crazy, crazy, But what about baseball football
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: or the rumble in the jungle?
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: I have two theories.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: Also got to wonder like how is the moon pie
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: stand going to hold up in the heat?
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: And then we just like build a new wing the
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: fighting there.
- 1:20:12Speaker 10: But do you think Steve asked that Joe Rogan's just
- 1:20:15Speaker 10: saying these things so that it gets hits on line
- 1:20:18Speaker 10: and that people start.
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: Well, if there's one thing that he doesn't need his hits,
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: his clickbait, I'll get that.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: But he's not wrong, DC. It's it is a swamp.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: It is going to be hot and.
- 1:20:28Speaker 11: Buggy, but you're fighting like who cares?
- 1:20:30Speaker 9: What right?
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: It's not But it's not unlike you guys are saying
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: it's not unheard of. You know every high school it
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: does two a days in the same heat.
- 1:20:38Speaker 10: They just thought that the Egyptian Pyramids.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: It's not an ideal condition, certainly is it? Is it
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: a question of all things equal? So if the other
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: championship World championship fights, yeah, does that does that change.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: The But they're both in that It's not like ones
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: fighting outside one right, and this.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Is again not unprecedented. The famous Evander Holyfield ride bow
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: where the guy came in on the parachute and landed
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: in Like, those are obviously outdoors. They've done WrestleMania's outdoors
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: Like it's it's not optimal, it.
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: Could rain, you could have bugs, but it's kind of cool.
- 1:21:12Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: I wonder what happened if it started raining when they
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: postpone it. I guess. Yeah.
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: Haven't they done outdoor basketball games where they opened stadiums.
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: I'm pretty damn sure they have well to do for
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: Hockey Winter Classic stadiums as it adds the elements quite literally.
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: But it's not unprecedent eight seven seven forty four. What
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: if you want to call in, you could text over
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: to two two nine eight seven. You have seen the
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: white house is just like the movie Idiocracy five six two.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, but I mean it's like one movie. Oh
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: my god, how long have we been hearing that? Yeah?
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Years now. Well, it's kind of like the Simpsons called
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: it same kind of yeah, right, it is. It is
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: following a It is following a certain I don't know, trajectory. Yeah,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: I'll say it is.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: It is a weird timeline, as the kids say. As
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: much as that it is, it's sort of a tired observation.
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: I had that observation at at a Walmart over the week.
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: I was looking around, like, these are not like, these
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: are barely human beings, right, It's not.
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: It's not just here's the thing, I guess.
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: I guess, well, I thought I thought of like the
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: costco scenes and Idiocracy, like there's just the sloths, like
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: barely dressed.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: It's not just this, it's overall like society has become
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: pretty trashy. You look at the and that's the point
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: about the Walmart or the Hey, your wife swore off
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: Walmart years ago? She did, and I look, I'm still
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: out there repping, but but I was like, oh, boys, depressing, Yeah,
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: my wife is in a Walmart. And she was getting
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: a couple of things, and there was this woman pushing
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: a cart and the baby baby. This kid was big enough,
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: you know, could have been could have been walking alongside,
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: but was sitting in that little basket that faces the
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: parent by the handle there and was leaning forward. And
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: the woman had her boob out, was breast and my
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: wife goes, that's it, and then I go, you know what, whatever.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Of course there's characters Walmart like, but you know, Walmart's fine,
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: get me there and get the hell out. It's fine
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: to get a little people watching it. And then the
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: very next week they had to shut down that Walmart
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: for like half the day because some woman brought a shaken,
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: big med lab in at that same Walmart that was
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: by our house.
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: It was hard to argue that she won't go anymore.
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: She'll get the delivery from Walmart, but she's sworn off.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: Walmart.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: But that Walmart is pretty no, no, no, this is
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: this is your a different one.
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: Because a woman was following me around in a rascal
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: I think God bless her. I think half her face
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: was burned. And she kept following me around in a
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: scooter saying, bless you, God, bless.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: You the a on the aisle number. I'm a grown adult,
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: but I wouldn't put up my grandmother in there.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: After dark the show.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: And right back to Sea Bass as we continue on
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: this week in audio, I don't know if we're allowed
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: to play this on the air. We'll find out this
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: This did air though on ESPN.
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: The Arizona State in Texas had a softball matchup, a
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: little college softball action. Yeah yeah, and uh, one of
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: the fans in the audience spotted a field microphone. These
- 1:24:23Speaker 5: are the mics that pick up, you know, crowd noise
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: at the ball, et cetera, et cetera. And as the
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: announcer is talking about whatever, she said.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: This wonderful relationship those two.
- 1:24:34Speaker 18: And she said, when you come to Austin, they tell you.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: You're gonna as an assistant and then they're gonna send
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: you off.
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: So I bet you the the announcers couldn't even hear
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: that just by the way they mixed the crowd. Maybe
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: how they miss it well because the sound mixer may
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: send the announcers a different feed than he sends out
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: to the broadcast, you know, so they can concentrate more
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: on Yeah, what's going on?
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Because if he if he did hear that. He kept
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: on talking.
- 1:25:05Speaker 18: Relationship those two and she said, when you come to Austin,
- 1:25:08Speaker 18: they tell you.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: To compete for national championship. She just saw it lean
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: over her head. Yeah, it's a girl, so it's not
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: even real. That's crazy, that's funny, that's good. Yeah, this
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: week in audio, all right to get mad at some people.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: Uh, I can't find where this is from exactly originally,
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: but this is a woman who did the move where
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: the plane lands, and she needs to be at the
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: front of.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: The plane real fast. That just so much time.
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: Doesn't matter that that there's other people trying to get
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: their luggage out.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: She needs to be like shouldering past people. Well, thank god.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: The guys in front of her said nahuh rap, And
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: she tried to try to reason with them like this,
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: why are you so special because I'm trying to get
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: it in front. Yeah, we're all trying to get to
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: the front. We all paid the same goddamn money. Okay,
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: I'm saying, so I'm just telling you, excuse me if
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: you move and the door ain't open, I'm just saying,
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: it doesn't matter, don't matter to the front.
- 1:26:07Speaker 14: We all are.
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: Everybody excuse me, Yeah, where do you think everybody else
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: is going out?
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: But she wasn't even smart enough to lie and say
- 1:26:13Speaker 5: she's got a connection, that's it.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: And it doesn't even matter because they'll say, please stay
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: seated for the people trying to get to the next
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: way and jaff years. It's happened to me so many times, and.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: You know why, because people suck and you don't have
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: the connection, you're gonna get up anyway exactly. And so
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: how do you It's not like you have a special
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: you know, like sometimes they have only the regular security
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: line open, not a TSA pre check line. If you
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: have pre check, they give you that little placard you care, like,
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: oh this passenger has are they holding the placer Okay,
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: we'll let them go first because they have a connection.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: Like no, everybody just assumes that everybody else And so
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: they're like, well, if everybody else is gone, I'm going right,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: which is a deck move.
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: I agree, but at least a least at least that's
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: an easy lie that she wasn't even smart enough. Think
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: of which, if you recall a few years ago when
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: unfortunately I was in the back of the plane, some
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: lady tried this on me, and I just full on
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: body block.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: I didn't get out of get the back talk. I
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: didn't get the the sides.
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: Yeah, well she said, she said, excuse me, So that
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: works right. Well, she's polite, and then she she offers
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: a less polite hypothesis, Sir, I'm.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: Fan, excuse me, you're just going to block my way.
- 1:27:16Speaker 17: Yeah, so if I've hit you.
- 1:27:20Speaker 19: Got thirty witnesses on you, man with hair, you'll get
- 1:27:23Speaker 19: arrested and then you will get.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: A lifetime flight.
- 1:27:25Speaker 14: Then you want that, Okay, But what I'm saying is
- 1:27:27Speaker 14: I'm just saying.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 1:27:28Speaker 12: What you're saying is you think that you were more
- 1:27:30Speaker 12: special than everybody else on this goddamn excuse me?
- 1:27:34Speaker 18: Yeah, excuse you.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: This is up.
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: If I was in this situation, I just don't even interact,
- 1:27:43Speaker 8: you know, let them be upset, like like Mel says,
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: you know.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: Just let robins. Yeah.
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: I just don't go back and forth with dumb ass
- 1:27:51Speaker 8: people like well, if you and if you are going
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: to go back and this is right in general, don't
- 1:27:55Speaker 8: go back and forth because you're likely to make a mistake.
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: People like myself who are used to being screamed at
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: all the time, I'm getting death threats. Literally, he's talking
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: of my job.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: You're going to say something stupid or do something right.
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: I can handle it, but you've got to be condescending.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Don't yell back.
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: At her with calm descending.
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: We're all waiting and there's people in front of us. Man,
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: maybe be very rude for you to go to come
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: past me. Yeah right, if you were to hit me, yes,
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: that would be that would be a violation and assault.
- 1:28:19Speaker 12: Battery past cartnark academy or well.
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: No, he raised his voice. He's not a trained professional, right,
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: but to his but to his point, will she get
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: on a permanent no fly list? We don't think so.
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: We know we've seen this kind of behavior too many times,
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: and if that list really existed, these people wouldn't exist either.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: Now, independent of her behavior, why does it take people
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: fourteen hours to get off a damn plane? Agree with you?
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: Watch these it's their turn and they.
- 1:28:44Speaker 12: Slow get they get their bag out, Like.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: I wonder that about a lot of things. You are
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: ordering a fast food restaurant that you've been to a
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: billion times. You are getting money from a cash machine
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: car like, why is that so difficult? Leaving a parking space. Right, Well,
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: maybe the machine's just going really slow, and then you
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: get up there and you're in and out there in
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: thirty seconds. She's like, Oh no, it's just this person
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: was an idiot. I was in line at the cashier recently.
- 1:29:11Speaker 5: There's a big long gas station line, and there's and
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: once everybody's gangetting nantcy and then when they.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: Get there, oh, oh here's my wallet. Oh I forgot
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: here's hey. Let me.
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: Okay, let's be mad at another lady. This is a
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: lady who she got to go get a hot and
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: skeezers hot and ready. Yeah it was seven bucks. She
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: only had like six hundred dollars and forty cents. How
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: much six dollars and forty so I said six hundred. Yeah,
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: she only had six and forty dollars, got a couple.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: She was sixty cent short, and she was very mad
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: that the woman just didn't give her the sixty cents.
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: I just want you to tell little theaters that you
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: just refused sixty.
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: Cent and I just brought my baby here and I
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: have seven but I'm crying, and I.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: Just want them to know that you could have helped
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: me off of sixty cent and I'm trying to feed.
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: The baby pizza.
- 1:29:57Speaker 12: Pizza sixty sixty cent.
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: You could have liked six lot sense this long.
- 1:30:11Speaker 9: Now my baby still.
- 1:30:12Speaker 10: Won't be home.
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: I don't worry. Don't worry about the bitch. Wow, don't
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: worry about the bitch.
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: That's my favorite thing. Where she's recording the cashier. I
- 1:30:24Speaker 5: think it's gonna make the cash here look.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: Bad about well. Look, I feel I feel bad for people.
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: Are you know, tough spots, a tough situations, And she's
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: clearly at the end of her rope. So I get
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I get it. Baby needs pizza. Yeah, yeah, we got
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: jam a slice in the kids bottle.
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: Hey man, I know that. Like we weren't babies, but
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: growing up with a single mom at the time, we
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: ate a lot of Little Caesars for dinner.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: Yeahs did we? Yeah?
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: But and let's not forget when you say, who feeds
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: baby's pizza? Honey, booboo got fed mountain doing in red.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: Balls, steady. Don't forget that she's going.
- 1:30:54Speaker 8: To school now, So what what's up, bitch?
- 1:30:57Speaker 20: Yeah?
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Yeah, who who outside this week? And audun, let's get
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: mad at this guy.
- 1:31:02Speaker 5: This is a dad and all we know is that
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: he's in Pigeon Force, Tennessee at the outlet models.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: So that's that's like the middle of just.
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: You're not even suburbia, just you know, it's tourist trapia.
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: We don't know what happened beforehand. This could have been
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: a cart narking situation because it's a parking lot. The dad,
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: as the start of the video, has his shirt off.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: He is doing that gorilla flex where he's got his
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: arms in front of them, screaming at some other man.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: This guy, Oh dude, our buddy Jeff g loves this guy.
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: It's a guy who's probably forty five. Do you look
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: at no shoulders.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: He's got no.
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: Shoulders, okay, shape, I'll say, y, yeah, he's not. But
- 1:31:38Speaker 5: he's clearly forty five years old if judge by his hairline.
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: Behind him, as you'll hear in the clip, is his
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: wife and his two young children.
- 1:31:46Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, and this watch and everything.
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: And and he's got one phrase and it's gonna he's
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: gonna f up the cameraman.
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: What Yeah, no, kids, what is wrong with you?
- 1:32:07Speaker 7: Dare you come around and fall?
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: You do need to get a hold of him.
- 1:32:16Speaker 5: She's not yelling at her husband to put your shirt
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: back on. A stop threatning to f up this guy
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: yelling at the guy.
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: Yea draft legs lady here.
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: Yeah, the kids are terrified.
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: I'll give the guy a perfect example here. The guy
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: with the camera is doing exactly the right thing. He's
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: being calm. He's like, dude, your kids are crying.
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: What are you doing. He walks up while he's flexing.
- 1:32:39Speaker 8: Immediately start stepping back and does like.
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: A wide receiver shake and then turns around and immediately
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: full psyched.
- 1:32:48Speaker 5: And if this dad, stupid Number one, that your kids
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: are there and your wife is there, they be a
- 1:32:52Speaker 5: bigger man and walk away. The number two, if you
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: come at a person like that, they have a reasonable
- 1:32:57Speaker 5: fear that you're going to hurt them, and you're, hopefully
- 1:33:01Speaker 5: are gonna be a less than lethal response.
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: Hopefully. Yeah. Yeah. Another piece of audio that people are
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: talking about again is this woman who got pulled over
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: by the cop and he was claiming that she was
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: distracted driving. He saw her with a cell phone in
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: her right hand. Yes, the story, Well, here's the thing
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: is this story. We covered the story we did. Now
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: there is an update. There is an update to the story. Okay,
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: so the up the update to the story. We'll get
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: to in a second. But like it's going viral again.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: Reason Yeah, anyway, so, uh, because she requested the body
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: cam footage from the traffic stop, and now you see it.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: The cop walks up. He says, hey, man, well, here
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: here's the here's the auto. Now here's what you should
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: know about it if you don't know the story already. Uh.
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: The woman has no right hand. It's just a nub,
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: just a stump. Yeah, she's missing, she's I don't know
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: why what happened or whatever, but she doesn't have her
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: right hand. So the fact that she'd be holding a
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: cell phone in her right hand is impossible. Not just
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: she clarified my right hand, not not yet, not not
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: to say that she could have been holding in the
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: left hand. Maybe he thought, who knows, But here's how
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: that went.
- 1:34:10Speaker 21: They would do in an operation for the distracted driver.
- 1:34:12Speaker 21: And you drove past me holding the phone with your
- 1:34:14Speaker 21: right hand, manipulated left phone.
- 1:34:15Speaker 9: I saw you.
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: So she holds up, she goes, obviously, not I have
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: no hand, called manipulate, nipping.
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: So you want to just call this a day.
- 1:34:29Speaker 21: I don't want to call a day. You had a
- 1:34:30Speaker 21: hand on money hand. Well, I thought I told you
- 1:34:34Speaker 21: right hand a hand, the right hand. I saw you
- 1:34:38Speaker 21: with the right hand, perhaps not right when I saw you, didn't.
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: You I know what I just said.
- 1:34:44Speaker 21: I know what I said.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: I'm asking you.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: No, did you?
- 1:34:46Speaker 21: Did you hand to got you to have had the
- 1:34:52Speaker 21: other hand a guy?
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: You don't have oney hand. So she held up the
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: ste hand other hand a guy. And I'm assuming she
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: was steering with the other hand. Yeah, maybe, I mean
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: I drop, especially when I'm texting, driving while eating a bagel.
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: You could have done this, but he did step in it.
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: By Yeah. So the comments and people are all over this,
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: this police officer. And then so the update on the
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: on the story is that the officers asked for the
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: ticket to be dropped. Oh that's he.
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: Should immediately did that exactly?
- 1:35:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's the update. Miss. Let's put a nice
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: little bow on the week in audio.
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: To feel good audio for Greg specifically Ricky Carnley. He's
- 1:35:40Speaker 5: a semi retired plumbing contractor something rather and he just
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: got on his TikTok one day and wanted to unapologize
- 1:35:50Speaker 5: jetically say this.
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: All right, Hey, I love being drunk.
- 1:35:54Speaker 20: I know a lot of you don't he agree with it,
- 1:35:57Speaker 20: some of you will. But I love getting up, love
- 1:36:00Speaker 20: being drunk. I love life, but I love being drunk.
- 1:36:03Speaker 20: I'm a goddamn drunk alcoholic and I love being drunk.
- 1:36:07Speaker 20: I go to work when I need to. I pay
- 1:36:09Speaker 20: my damn bills most of the time.
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:36:12Speaker 20: I just love being a drunk.
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: All right, there you go here, Yeah, I just want
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: to put this out there, you know, a contributing member
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: to Society drunk. There's just a headline I just all
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: splashed across the TV screen about how gen Z is
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: trading the bar for the gym where not?
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: This guy being sober and clean is so huge pretty
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: much podcasters these days. Yea.
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: And this guy's like no rules, he continues.
- 1:36:42Speaker 20: A lot of people won't admit it. Their closet drinkers.
- 1:36:45Speaker 20: They need to come out of the closet like they
- 1:36:47Speaker 20: did years ago in that other world, that other kind
- 1:36:50Speaker 20: of life that some people live.
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: Not me, but yeah, yeah, a drunk, y'all.
- 1:37:00Speaker 20: I love getting drunk, walking around out here in the woods,
- 1:37:04Speaker 20: not knowing what the hell is going on in the
- 1:37:06Speaker 20: world around me. I just don't care sometime because I
- 1:37:09Speaker 20: just love drinking.
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: Y'all. Thank y'all for listening.
- 1:37:13Speaker 20: Hell you only got one.
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: Go Yeah, sound pretty good.
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: Getting drunk walking around.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: In the woods preach and does sound good. Yeah, that's
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: all I got. Just recap what we talked about here today.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: I love being drunk. Aff and rules, stay dry it rules,
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: pay most of my bills. Stop hiding it. I'm functional.
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: It's refreshing. Actually, I like that.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: Stop overthinking it. Just get drunk this weekend audio. All right,
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: this is uh.
- 1:37:39Speaker 5: You know, people came down on myself in Menace, especially
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: after we said, look all this AI, especially the graphics
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: AI and stuff, it's here. You might as well learn
- 1:37:48Speaker 5: how to use it. It's just another tool like computer
- 1:37:49Speaker 5: generated blah blah blah. And they said, well, you know
- 1:37:51Speaker 5: what medicine sea bass. We just wait till AI comes
- 1:37:54Speaker 5: after your job. Okay, and guess what it sure has.
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: There are full on radio stations that are one hundred
- 1:38:01Speaker 5: percent humanless. Now, yep, they've not here, not here guaranteed human. Yeah,
- 1:38:06Speaker 5: I am still a real person. Hi, but they you
- 1:38:09Speaker 5: can take any AI agent. Now, it'll program radio station,
- 1:38:13Speaker 5: put in fake voices. It'll even do like today in
- 1:38:16Speaker 5: history sort of stuff, things that you would hear on
- 1:38:19Speaker 5: a regular radio station. This is what something they did
- 1:38:20Speaker 5: at and Don Labs in San Francisco. And this is
- 1:38:23Speaker 5: a Google Gemini giving us a fun This day in history.
- 1:38:26Speaker 7: November twelfth, nineteen seventy the Bolas cyclone. They estimate five
- 1:38:32Speaker 7: hundred thousand people died. It's going down. I'm yelling Timber
- 1:38:38Speaker 7: Popull and Kesha Hill.
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: Yeah death. Now you tell me that thought entertaining. It's
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: funny because if I go to like a really small
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: town somewhere, I feel like that's the DJ I hear smiling. Yeah,
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: I'm talking. I got to hear that again. But yesterday
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: I was a cocktail with Today, I find myself in
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: a radio studio. This is my first day. I'm reading
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: things in the same inflection, regardless of what it's about.
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: It's the hits of two thousand today with none of
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: the rap. Yeah, and five thousand people died.
- 1:39:16Speaker 7: November twelfth, nineteen seventy the Bola cyclone. They estimate five
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: hundred thousand people died. Yeah, it's going down, yelling Timber
- 1:39:27Speaker 7: Pitbull and Kesha Hell.
- 1:39:29Speaker 2: Yeah. I love it. I got more yeah that cyclone. Yeah.
- 1:39:37Speaker 8: The AI, the AI Spotify DJs are way better than that.
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: They do that kind of stuff, like the fun facts
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: and things.
- 1:39:44Speaker 8: That is fun and like that fun facts.
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: So let me ask a uc bass. There's a lot
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: of talk about how okay, well AI comes in, the
- 1:39:58Speaker 2: robots come in, they do these different things. Everybody's just
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: gonna be basically put on human beings. We put on
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: an allowance. None of us will have to work. We
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: don't have to worry about saving for our future. We
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: don't have to worry about we don't have to worry
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: about any of that stuff because like the money won't
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: matter because you know, you don't need to work and
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: therefore worry about how much things cost because the machines
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: and everything. We're just gonna be what what do we do? Well? Yeah?
- 1:40:20Speaker 5: Like what like as Karl Marx said on Humans Need
- 1:40:23Speaker 5: Purpose fifty years ago, we'd be literary critics. But to
- 1:40:26Speaker 5: be seriously answer your question, you would you would have
- 1:40:28Speaker 5: to do higher level stuff.
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: You'd be doing more creative things. Have you looked around, Yeah,
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: it would. It would take a good look at people.
- 1:40:35Speaker 5: It would be And Zach Alfanachus raises this in his
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: The Gardening Show on Netflix. Now is you go out
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: and go to the garden you do basically with with
- 1:40:45Speaker 5: Greg does when he retires.
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you'd have a little farm. Yep. You you know,
- 1:40:50Speaker 2: you hang out with your kids, you play games. Oh yuh,
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: you know you would. There would still be you'd mind
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: the robots.
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: But what if you have this pesky drive to succeed, you.
- 1:40:59Speaker 5: Could still do that? You could you could, Hey, I
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: want to go to uh, I want to go to
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: s alpha Centaury six. Let me build a rocket ship
- 1:41:05Speaker 5: and figure it out. Hey, robots, come with me. Let's
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: try that out. You know it's it's you're not gonna
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: be but you're not going to be driving a truck
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: first forty years of your adult life anymore.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: That's going away. Jay Leno did a he rode along
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: in the new Cyber, the new Tesla over the road
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: long haul truck. That think's awesome? Right, So yeah, all
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: these little like functionary you won't be You won't be
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: getting change or giving change at the grocery store, because
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: that's that's the question. Okay, great, yeah, robots AI all
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: this stuff comes in. Where how are people earning money? Like,
- 1:41:35Speaker 2: where do you get money? If you can't work, where
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: do you get money to pay for the things that
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: you need, housing, food, entertain yeah, whatever, anything, whatever.
- 1:41:44Speaker 8: Well, these companies need you to buy products. So there again,
- 1:41:48Speaker 8: like there will be a way, here'll be a new
- 1:41:51Speaker 8: uh swatchwatch collab with us.
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:41:53Speaker 5: Well this is where the the the depopulation of the
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: planet may not be such a bad idea, is you
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: where if we go back down to a couple billion
- 1:42:02Speaker 5: people because we have and we just because birth rates
- 1:42:04Speaker 5: are dropping worldwide, and that coincides with robots, robots I
- 1:42:08Speaker 5: should say, coming up, Maybe that's a good intersection. Maybe
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: that's a good thing.
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: Actually, I mean we'll be dead before any of this, Greg,
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: I mean more than that.
- 1:42:16Speaker 5: Yeah, that's two hundred something plus years from now, assuming
- 1:42:18Speaker 5: we all live there. The problem, that's the other thing
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: is maybe you will maybe not you and me, but
- 1:42:23Speaker 5: maybe our grandkids will have the singularity and their their consciousness.
- 1:42:28Speaker 5: They're already doing it with you know, they're trying to
- 1:42:30Speaker 5: replicate people now by feeding all their social media or
- 1:42:33Speaker 5: in our case, our radio show into and then the
- 1:42:36Speaker 5: AI will become you, so you'll sort of.
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: Still be alive.
- 1:42:39Speaker 7: November twelfth, nineteen seventy the Bolas cyclone. They estimate five
- 1:42:45Speaker 7: hundred thousand people died. It's going down. I'm yelling timber people.
- 1:42:51Speaker 7: And Kesha returns right after these messages.
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: Sure, well, we are into another new hour insensitivity training
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: for a politically correct world. My name is Woody. That
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: is Greg Gory. Hi. We got Menace Gina grad and
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: also joining us here on this throwback Thursday, as he
- 1:43:17Speaker 2: always does right around this time. He is the senior
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: vice president managing partner of Club Turn Up. He is
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: the Pride of Pacoima. Yes, eld presidente himself. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: I give you Tim. Yeah, that's like, hey, hey, what's up, buddy.
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: So we tried it out last week? Yes, and uh yeah,
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: so we're asking Tim questions Uncle Tim, the elder statesman
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: of the group in the evening because you're.
- 1:43:49Speaker 15: Wise, you're you're wise.
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: But anyway, so, uh, we had some questions that we're
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: sent in. We have some other people who have some questions.
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: Maybe you can answer. Sure, I don't think there's really
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: anything for us to guess on this week ago. But yeah,
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: hook uh right, But yeah, Jeff g has the the
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: questions over there he's been going through because like we
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: we filter him through. Jeff listeners send him in to
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: nine eight seven email email at woodieshow dot com. Jeff
- 1:44:21Speaker 2: goes through them and then we we bring them to you. Tim.
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: I'm ready, You're ready? Yeah, all right, and then we'll
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: then we'll go up in the club here on this
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: throwback Thursday. All right, question number one here, Jeff, all right,
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: deal Tim?
- 1:44:34Speaker 17: What is a procedure white people should drive to Tijuana
- 1:44:37Speaker 17: to get done?
- 1:44:38Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: You know Greg is a big Greg Greg is a
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: big fan of procedures. Yeah. Oh I thought he was a.
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: Big fan of the Ijuana.
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, it used to be. He got his neck done.
- 1:44:50Speaker 2: He does.
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: No Why why would you get your neck?
- 1:44:54Speaker 3: He did?
- 1:44:55Speaker 12: Just did it flabby wattle gun or at least minimi.
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: He did it over. He did it over Christmas last year.
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: Ya crazy, and I'm doing full face. Look of all
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: the things that you could do. You were like a
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: good idea. There's a lot of room for improvement. Start
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: with your stupid next.
- 1:45:17Speaker 4: Like penal in large.
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: I know, I mean there's so many things on the list.
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: That's remember Randy that used to work with us here, Yeah,
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: Randy's dentist. Uh is Hejana? That's my answer?
- 1:45:33Speaker 14: Is it.
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: Dental was on it. Yeah, literally dental. Everybody goes to
- 1:45:42Speaker 2: TJ for dental.
- 1:45:43Speaker 8: Yeah, but people go there for veneers and they get jack.
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: Yeah. You gotta you gotta find you gotta find the
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: right one, but hundred.
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: Percent pocket and get it done.
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: Yeah, like you just show up.
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: There's what I want.
- 1:45:55Speaker 22: I mean, we are we have open any Latino's mouth
- 1:46:00Speaker 22: and it's like crowns upon crowns. Yeah, cavities upon cat
- 1:46:04Speaker 22: like feelings.
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: Like yes, I freaking water is all soda.
- 1:46:11Speaker 8: Soda in the back, yeah, for sure, So it's got
- 1:46:13Speaker 8: to be dental, Okay, Yeah, that.
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: Pure cane sugar Coca cola in the bottle with the
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: big giant.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: White people for like bbls and stuff.
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: Oh absolutely absolutely.
- 1:46:24Speaker 22: But I'm just saying like in general, in general, Yeah,
- 1:46:27Speaker 22: I mean there's all kinds of things that you can
- 1:46:30Speaker 22: go on.
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: Greg for the longest time is talking about going to
- 1:46:32Speaker 2: Colombia for absculpting. Could walk in with the pot belly
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: walk out red.
- 1:46:39Speaker 19: Literally zero efforts. I can't even deal with you right now,
- 1:46:42Speaker 19: painted for you. Wait until there's all there's a T
- 1:46:45Speaker 19: shirt for.
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: That, you know that?
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: Right? Oh yeah, right, right, next question, Tim.
- 1:46:50Speaker 17: Yes, all right, do you guys know what Sanchez are?
- 1:46:54Speaker 17: Anybody snchez?
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: Is that like side piece? Yes it is?
- 1:46:59Speaker 17: Yeah, yes, okay, So Tim, what do Sanchez do better
- 1:47:04Speaker 17: than wives?
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: Oh? Wow, hold on, let's see now this one, this one.
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: I guess we could. I guess we could take a
- 1:47:10Speaker 2: guess on this.
- 1:47:11Speaker 8: Also, how did you know?
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: Yeah, don't if you hear, if you hear a say
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: the answer, don't don't say that's my answer. I'm sorry, Sorry,
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: I got excited.
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: I write it down.
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: All right, we can discuss. But I know better better
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: than wives. I would think it would have to do like,
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: maybe not as much like his wives feel like they've
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: they've already got you on lockdown, so they're they're more like, okay,
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: perfect example. My wife is so nice. Everybody goes, oh,
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: your wife is so sweet, she's so nice. But I'm like, dude,
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: all she does is nag. She's nice to everybody but me,
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: everybody but me and sometimes you guys have seen it, right, I.
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: Have never seen that.
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: Never see him. Don't lie to me.
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: I've never seen that.
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: A good front of you. I was there.
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: That's true, that's true. I'm with Tim. I got blinders on. Yeah, anyway.
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: So I will say, do you bet? I would say
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: that's more like a do less. I would say nag,
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: But I'd.
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: Say the mouth game has got to be way stronger.
- 1:48:14Speaker 12: Yeah, it's not going to go oraling orling, Yeah.
- 1:48:17Speaker 13: For sure in the bedroom, all right, I would say,
- 1:48:19Speaker 13: dress better, like they care more.
- 1:48:22Speaker 17: They go to a different house afterwards, which is amazing yet, right,
- 1:48:26Speaker 17: so you don't have to go home with them.
- 1:48:27Speaker 22: They're separately, tim, So what does a sunsha do better
- 1:48:33Speaker 22: than a wife?
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, text back.
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: Oh, they're just sting.
- 1:48:38Speaker 15: They were sitting by their phone, and I will I
- 1:48:42Speaker 15: will say, like, my wife never text me back like ever,
- 1:48:47Speaker 15: really ever, And the seven sanchas that I have.
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: Immediately wore you at that, Right, you're a you're a
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: one woman guy, or like you ever like as a
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: younger man, Jimmer stray Man.
- 1:49:03Speaker 22: I gotta be honest, man, I've been with my wife
- 1:49:04Speaker 22: since nineteen ninety two. I will say, in the in
- 1:49:10Speaker 22: the very beginning, like it was like trying to feel
- 1:49:12Speaker 22: each other out whatever, But I.
- 1:49:14Speaker 4: Gotta be honest, man, like that's my that's my rider
- 1:49:17Speaker 4: die all right.
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: So you're gonna make Greg. I love that you're gonna
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: make Greg go to Tijo wanna and it's not his
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: His ducks closed up, so he stops crying. Exactly. That's
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: the most romantic thing in the Yeah, oh, I love it. Right,
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: we'll get to up at the club. But first, one
- 1:49:35Speaker 2: more question too, Tim, Jeff g what's the question? All right, Tim?
- 1:49:39Speaker 17: If your daughter gets pregnant by her boyfriend Shot and
- 1:49:45Speaker 17: she lives with you, okay, would you let him move in?
- 1:49:48Speaker 2: Okay? All right, to look at Tim, I'm ready to fight, dude. Yeah, okay,
- 1:49:53Speaker 2: Now let's let's let's take this one and try to
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: guess based on what we know of Tim.
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: Well, it's not would you let him live with you?
- 1:50:00Speaker 3: It's would you let him live?
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: Well, okay, let's assume that he lets him live. Okay,
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: for the sake of argument, right, plausible deniability? Right, all right,
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: So the daughters Tim's daughter's pregnant, Yes, she lives with Tim.
- 1:50:16Speaker 3: He's getting heated.
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: Would you let the.
- 1:50:18Speaker 17: Boyfriend move in so they could be a happy little
- 1:50:20Speaker 17: family under your room?
- 1:50:21Speaker 3: That's interesting? Okay, really good.
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: Question, man.
- 1:50:25Speaker 8: I'm gonna say every Latino I know, yes, they're moving in.
- 1:50:29Speaker 8: But with Tim, dude, I don't know.
- 1:50:32Speaker 3: Yah, it's it's do you love your daughter more than
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: you hate this kid?
- 1:50:37Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: I have I have my I have my guests, But
- 1:50:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna hear what do you what do you say? Say?
- 1:50:41Speaker 11: I think that Tim is gonna say no.
- 1:50:44Speaker 13: I think that he will want the dude to step
- 1:50:46Speaker 13: up to take care of her, and that she would
- 1:50:49Speaker 13: be allowed to stay with the baby if she wanted,
- 1:50:51Speaker 13: but he doesn't get to move in.
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Greg.
- 1:50:54Speaker 12: I can't put my finger on why, but I'm saying yes, like,
- 1:50:57Speaker 12: yes very much.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: Yes, I say yes.
- 1:51:00Speaker 3: But he's gonna make this kid's label living hell.
- 1:51:03Speaker 8: Reluctantly, Yes, right, reluctantly.
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: I think Tim's wife is going to win this one.
- 1:51:09Speaker 2: She's gonna want them there. Tim is going to hate it,
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: give He's gonna hate it. He's gonna hate it, but
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: he's gonna give into that because that's what the wife wants.
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: He also wants the daughter close. And if that means
- 1:51:22Speaker 2: that he's got to mean mug this guy every day
- 1:51:26Speaker 2: that he's at the house, I think that's what he's
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: gonna do. Tim. Yo, Tim, Hell, no, no, do you
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: put your foot down with Veronica and you're like nope.
- 1:51:40Speaker 22: And when it comes to stuff like that and I'm
- 1:51:42Speaker 22: and I'm like heated, and I'm like hell no, Like
- 1:51:45Speaker 22: she's really good at going like hey, I got your.
- 1:51:48Speaker 2: Back, a right, good night. If they got married first, yeah,
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: I mean came home.
- 1:51:55Speaker 22: I mean, if you want to flip the switch on
- 1:51:57Speaker 22: that one and be like, hey, I'm pregnant and we're
- 1:52:00Speaker 22: moving out, like if you if you guys all leave,
- 1:52:02Speaker 22: I'm not okay with that, but that's a better scenario
- 1:52:06Speaker 22: than come in to my house and live with me.
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: Oh I like that.
- 1:52:08Speaker 2: Damn yeah. All right, well wow, I'm so mad. You
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: know what it is right now? Tim? Is like, uh,
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: Tim is like when your girlfriend or your wife wakes
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: up because she had a dream and she's dream pissed.
- 1:52:21Speaker 19: Yeah no, seriously, Lauren, Lauren, if you're listening, better call
- 1:52:25Speaker 19: me literally right now.

- 1:53:55Speaker 2: You know it sounds really cool, guys, And we saw
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: a commercial for it. It's a TV game show, Greg,
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: I know how much how much you love TV game shows. Yeah,
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: this one's called American Bible Challenge.
- 1:54:13Speaker 3: Oh damn.
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: And It's hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. Way American Bible Challenge, so.
- 1:54:20Speaker 3: Like Bible versus.
- 1:54:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I just saw the I didn't hear the audience
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: because I've.
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: Seen those on Instagram, like they do have those shows.
- 1:54:27Speaker 3: They just don't know they're gonna take it National.
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: Boring Jesus is up Man American Bible Challenge, hosted by
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: Jeff Foxworthy.
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: This looks I thought this looked familiar. This had been
- 1:54:36Speaker 5: a round before. I guess they're bringing it back.
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like you could do this. I did
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: you grow up in this kind of environment? Oh, damn
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: it at all.
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: I had to read parts of the Bible for high
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: school and I didn't under I didn't know what I
- 1:54:50Speaker 2: was reading. The same with my kids with the school
- 1:54:52Speaker 2: that they're in, and well, so they quizzed me the
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: other day, they go, all right, what's the first what
- 1:54:59Speaker 2: are the first words in the Bible?
- 1:55:02Speaker 3: It was the best.
- 1:55:05Speaker 2: There's something that are like four score and years ago
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: in the beginning, in the beginning. Yeah, I think that
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: was a d U i Q question.
- 1:55:13Speaker 5: So too, Yeah, that's we had senior year high school English.
- 1:55:18Speaker 5: We had a whole Bible thing like a Rabbi came
- 1:55:20Speaker 5: and spoke to us. I recall zero percent.
- 1:55:24Speaker 13: Oh really see, I took Bible as lit in high
- 1:55:27Speaker 13: school too, and I remember a lot lit it.
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: And all that.
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:55:34Speaker 8: I would like to go on the Joe McHale show
- 1:55:35Speaker 8: though that one. Yeah, yeah, that one looks pretty cool.
- 1:55:41Speaker 2: Yeah. For the twenty twenty eight Summer Olympics, here's another change.
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: Replacing the horse jumping in the Pentethylon will be Ninja
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: Warrior obstacles. Oh yes, way, yeah, okay, I've watched the
- 1:55:56Speaker 2: hell out of that. Absolutely that's better than the horse jumping.
- 1:56:00Speaker 3: I mean there's fun.
- 1:56:01Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean I had no idea there was
- 1:56:04Speaker 5: a horse jumping hybrid defense.
- 1:56:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that you have to then jump on your horse.
- 1:56:10Speaker 5: Obviously the Catholic made sense, or the equestrian I didn't
- 1:56:13Speaker 5: realize that was hybridized into anything else.
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: Well, the equestrian stuff is I thought that was separate
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: from other stuff.
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: Yeah, like you have to shout and then get on
- 1:56:22Speaker 3: a horse.
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: Why not have how they always have? Like but the
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: uh the Westminster Dog Show. Why not have like a
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: Summer Olympics dog show. You have dogs representing and they
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: could do like frisbee Uh, they can do uh where
- 1:56:36Speaker 2: they prance around like little you know, pussies. Yeah, like
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: in the actual dogs like the pools do with the
- 1:56:44Speaker 2: you know, that's.
- 1:56:45Speaker 11: A pretty good idea the agility shows.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: Yeah, they could do something like that.
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: Oh you know the enhanced games happened.
- 1:56:51Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys were all ripping out for the enhanced
- 1:56:53Speaker 5: You all you idiots were like, oh man, it's gonna
- 1:56:55Speaker 5: be so awesome that they all these roady out freaks and.
- 1:56:57Speaker 3: Instaid It was kind of whatever, Yeah, I guess what happened.
- 1:56:59Speaker 2: Nothing, what it happened. Yeah, but you guys were all
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: ripping out for it. You were like, this is gonna
- 1:57:03Speaker 2: be sweet aout.
- 1:57:05Speaker 3: It was awesome.
- 1:57:06Speaker 2: We talked about we like the idea of like cool,
- 1:57:07Speaker 2: let the Major League Baseball players roight out in hits
- 1:57:11Speaker 2: seven hundred foot moonshots. Yeah, you guys were all like
- 1:57:15Speaker 2: Roy Hobbs and the natural taking out the lights and
- 1:57:17Speaker 2: it causes the explosion that.
- 1:57:21Speaker 5: Well, as I, as I predicted, all the actual real
- 1:57:24Speaker 5: athletes who are really really good are clean and these
- 1:57:27Speaker 5: guys who know juicing doesn't put you over that hump
- 1:57:30Speaker 5: of like super high trained athletes.
- 1:57:32Speaker 2: Otherwise, I did watch a guy. He he tests out
- 1:57:35Speaker 2: different baseball bats based on different like you know, materials,
- 1:57:39Speaker 2: composites or whatever, and man, he launches some bombs. We
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: were talking about the Enhanced Games. Sea Bass mentioned as
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: a whole bunch of nothing. It was a whole bunch
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: of nothing. And somebody texted over saying, there was a
- 1:57:55Speaker 2: world record that was broken, you morons.
- 1:57:58Speaker 5: There was one nothing swimming record that was broken. But
- 1:58:01Speaker 5: the predictions of all these sprinters and powerlifters doing all
- 1:58:05Speaker 5: these superhuman things came.
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: To naught because you have to be so super super
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: amateur to even want to do this to your body.
- 1:58:12Speaker 3: So you because you're going to disqualify yourself from like.
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: Real staff right right.
- 1:58:16Speaker 5: And by the way, a twenty two year old like
- 1:58:18Speaker 5: bodybuilder just died and I think somewhere in South America
- 1:58:21Speaker 5: because steroids are really really bad for you.
- 1:58:23Speaker 2: Yeah, especially photo.
- 1:58:26Speaker 5: Oh yeah, like and that's that cope is a lot
- 1:58:28Speaker 5: in powerlifting, Like the number of power not powerlifting bodybuilding,
- 1:58:33Speaker 5: the number of bodybuilders that died before thirty five is insane.
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't really make it very ill. I mean you,
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: I mean look at the wrestlers, like the ww that's
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: that's that's the worst thing they're getting jacked up on.
- 1:58:43Speaker 5: That's the worst of all all things. You got steroids,
- 1:58:45Speaker 5: a constant work cycle. Uh, you got the I don't
- 1:58:49Speaker 5: know how Rick Flair still alive with vodka as he's
- 1:58:51Speaker 5: drank in his lifetime all the injury.
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: So you pro wrestlers have it real.
- 1:58:55Speaker 3: Bad and just shoot him up get rid of the pains.
- 1:58:56Speaker 3: They can keep working.
- 1:58:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:58:58Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: Text came in here. It says, Hey, Woody, I've been
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: Oh it's been four days of silent treatment from the wife. Congratulations,
- 1:59:07Speaker 2: what a week. Lucky. I'm kind of enjoying the silence
- 1:59:12Speaker 2: and hating it at the same time. Should I make
- 1:59:15Speaker 2: the move and talk to her to move it along?
- 1:59:18Speaker 2: All right? So it's an ask the Woody Show.
- 1:59:19Speaker 12: I wonder, if you're being totally honest, that you enjoy
- 1:59:23Speaker 12: the silent treatment.
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: Yeah, oh I do.
- 1:59:25Speaker 12: There's nothing more awkward than it makes when you're at home.
- 1:59:29Speaker 12: Do you feel uncomfortable? There's no, But I'm not uncomfortable.
- 1:59:33Speaker 2: I think. I think. I think if we had a
- 1:59:35Speaker 2: one room house, a one room house, there was nowhere
- 1:59:38Speaker 2: to go and I just had to like sit there,
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: that'd be a little bit more like annoying. I would
- 1:59:42Speaker 2: even call it awkward. But like when she's giving me
- 1:59:45Speaker 2: the silent treatment for whatever it is, she's in this
- 1:59:49Speaker 2: other room, I'm over here. We don't see each other.
- 1:59:51Speaker 2: Stay from yeah, like she might like right be home,
- 1:59:54Speaker 2: but when you do cross paths, like in the kitchen,
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: it's oh, I don't know how long have you known me?
- 2:00:00Speaker 7: No?
- 2:00:00Speaker 2: I do you really think that I would find I
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: would find that awkwardly?
- 2:00:03Speaker 12: Do not believe you, because I do believe that you
- 2:00:05Speaker 12: would like to have your own apartment during the week.
- 2:00:07Speaker 12: I would the silent treatment makes home life crazy awkward.
- 2:00:13Speaker 2: I would see for you that being true. But can
- 2:00:15Speaker 2: you see for me where it wouldn't. Like That's why
- 2:00:18Speaker 2: when they go, oh, yeah, you're you're going to be
- 2:00:21Speaker 2: in the doghouse? What am I going get the silent treatment?
- 2:00:23Speaker 2: Like that's a that's a reward. Like if you want
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: to like punish somebody like me, you would just talk NonStop?
- 2:00:29Speaker 2: Would you would be like telling me things that need
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: to be done or asking me questions about things that
- 2:00:33Speaker 2: are two weeks away that we need to make a
- 2:00:35Speaker 2: decision on right now. You know, the things that would
- 2:00:37Speaker 2: normally happen right what if there's no impetus for the
- 2:00:40Speaker 2: silent treatment, you're just not really talking that much? Find
- 2:00:43Speaker 2: that awkward to you? No? Really, like if you're eating
- 2:00:45Speaker 2: dinner and you're not having a conversation. No, that's fine.
- 2:00:48Speaker 3: I don't care about that.
- 2:00:49Speaker 2: What about the impedence yea, yeah? What about the impotence? Yeah?
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: What about what if you're impotent? What about the impence
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: is for women? Like, what do you think you're accomplishing
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: when you pull the silence silent treatment on us? What
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: do you think do you think you're getting it?
- 2:01:00Speaker 3: Yeah? I like it too, So I'm not the right
- 2:01:02Speaker 3: one to ask, because.
- 2:01:03Speaker 5: This is a this is a female move the vast majority.
- 2:01:06Speaker 5: What do you think you're doing?
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: Yes?
- 2:01:09Speaker 11: Do I seem like a silent treatment type?
- 2:01:12Speaker 3: And another thing? Person, she's the one.
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: Nobody is sleeping until we figure this out and come
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: to an agreement on my side. Actually, my answer, I'm
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: not like that. I will sleep.
- 2:01:25Speaker 11: I'm not staying up all night to solve whatever problem
- 2:01:27Speaker 11: this is. We can do it in the morning. I'm fine.
- 2:01:30Speaker 2: I'm a believer. As I've mentioned before, I'm a believer
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: the whole thing. Don't go to bed angry, No, like,
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: go to bed, get some sleep, everybody cool down, you'll
- 2:01:39Speaker 2: have some perspective. I think the next morning one where
- 2:01:42Speaker 2: one way or the other right, you know, rather than
- 2:01:44Speaker 2: like if when when emotions are high and people are pissed,
- 2:01:48Speaker 2: what do you think you're going to get accomplished in
- 2:01:50Speaker 2: that moment? Especially both regret are digging in.
- 2:01:54Speaker 3: And I think in my whole life of relationships, I've
- 2:01:56Speaker 3: slept on the couch twice and it was never like
- 2:02:00Speaker 3: I hope he comes and gets me, like just leave
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: me alone. We'll deal with this tomorrow.
- 2:02:03Speaker 2: Was it because you were like banished to the couch
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: I got to get out of That's fine. Don't follow
- 2:02:12Speaker 2: me that you're gonna be sleeping on the couch sine, No, no,
- 2:02:15Speaker 2: I'm not. If you're so mad at me that you
- 2:02:17Speaker 2: can't even stand to be sleeping next to me in
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: the same room, feel free to leave. This is my
- 2:02:22Speaker 2: room as much as your room. You don't lord over
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: the room to go like, well you need to leave
- 2:02:27Speaker 2: because I'm mad at you. You can choose to excuse
- 2:02:30Speaker 2: yourself from the situation, and that's that's okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:02:32Speaker 2: that's that's all right.
- 2:02:33Speaker 8: If you don't want to talk about it and figure
- 2:02:36Speaker 8: it out. I'm like, all right, see, uh get back
- 2:02:38Speaker 8: to me.
- 2:02:39Speaker 2: I would be curious. So, Menace, do you find it
- 2:02:41Speaker 2: awkward sitting there not talking? I mean, I don't like,
- 2:02:44Speaker 2: I'm your wife will sit there and be on phones,
- 2:02:46Speaker 2: which I did read that's bad menace. Yeah, yeah, it was.
- 2:02:51Speaker 2: It was like number one of the same phone habits
- 2:02:53Speaker 2: that can ruin a relationship if you're both just told
- 2:02:56Speaker 2: them yeah, well just yeah, just being there. But like
- 2:02:59Speaker 2: just that, they call it parallel scrolling for hours where
- 2:03:02Speaker 2: both people are sitting there on their phones and they're
- 2:03:05Speaker 2: doing the mindless scroll. Right, Yeah, you're not talking both
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: on your devices. That's become the norm nowadays, though, But
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: I've made a conscience effort to do that way less.
- 2:03:15Speaker 2: But how are you supposed to send really funny memes
- 2:03:17Speaker 2: and stuff to your part sittingt that's, by the way,
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: that's how you know the relationships healthy. You have a
- 2:03:22Speaker 2: meme in a week? What is going on? What's wrong? Nothing?
- 2:03:28Speaker 2: I'm fine, No, we're not fine. We're gonna talk about
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: this right now. Otherwise you're gonna sleep on the counch. God,
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: can I have this silence? Yeah? Give me the silent treatment.
- 2:03:37Speaker 2: I want to know what I did so I can
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: do it again.
- 2:03:40Speaker 3: But that's the thing. You better not go around huffing
- 2:03:42Speaker 3: and puffing. I don't want to hear that.
- 2:03:44Speaker 2: Yeah, also true, but for this texture. After four days, yes,
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: go talk to her.
- 2:03:53Speaker 3: But he's asking he wants to talk to her and
- 2:03:55Speaker 3: fix this.
- 2:03:57Speaker 2: I'm sure he does. But wouldn't you be the slightest
- 2:03:59Speaker 2: bit curious as okay, we're both adults, allegedly, how long
- 2:04:05Speaker 2: i'd be like, how long is she really going to
- 2:04:07Speaker 2: carry this? Because it'd be more funny than me your heels? Yeah,
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: because I would want to see how long is she
- 2:04:13Speaker 2: really going to take this? Will she take this a
- 2:04:15Speaker 2: full seven days? Well? Can she take it a full
- 2:04:19Speaker 2: week of holding on to whatever it is that she's
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: mad about where she's doing this silent treatment thing? Then
- 2:04:23Speaker 2: you're just let's just do it for fun. I've done
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: that with people before, where I go, all right, you know,
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: I'm curious to reach out to this person because I'm
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: you know, I just want to check in friend or
- 2:04:32Speaker 2: a family member or stuff. I wonder how long it
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: would be if I didn't call them, How long would
- 2:04:36Speaker 2: it be before they actually called and I've done that
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: and it's went on for months. Yeah, Buila wouldn't approve
- 2:04:43Speaker 2: the show. That's going to do it for Thursday, nice,
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: I said. A short four day week already almost over.
