- 1:15Speaker 1: takes place Super Bowl sixty San Francisco, Seattle, Seahawks, New
- 1:20Speaker 1: England Patriots, our boy Rabes, Mike McDonald. Yeah, and it
- 1:26Speaker 1: was exactly how the public sow it. You talk to
- 1:29Speaker 1: a lot of people about Hey, like the sharps are
- 1:31Speaker 1: big on Seattle. It's on Seattle. It's on the over.
- 1:34Speaker 1: That's where all the money was, Seattle.
- 1:36Speaker 2: And the over.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Did the over end up hitting?
- 1:38Speaker 3: No, he didn't.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I thought it was like a forty five. It wasn't
- 1:40Speaker 1: forty five.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It was forty four and a half or something like that.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Right, then that doesn't count. That doesn't add up. You're right,
- 1:49Speaker 1: doesn't add up. But it was.
- 1:52Speaker 2: You know, you do the math.
- 1:53Speaker 1: If you do the math, if you carry the one
- 1:55Speaker 1: and you move it around, that doesn't hit forty five.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So that's on me for that. But dude, the defense
- 2:01Speaker 1: was incredibly dominant. Exotic Blitz has also got there with
- 2:04Speaker 1: Ford Drake May he seems like he was a little lost.
- 2:06Speaker 1: The offensive line had a tough time protecting receivers weren't
- 2:09Speaker 1: getting separation. Jysm's even out for a quarter, and Buddy
- 2:13Speaker 1: Kenneth walker.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Man crushed it crushed.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So how do we feel, boys.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Let's just call spade a spade. The super Bowl was
- 2:21Speaker 2: a snooze fest. Yeah, yeah, it was. It was a
- 2:24Speaker 2: snooze fest. It was boring, like the Siico in you appreciates,
- 2:29Speaker 2: you know, an ass beating or schematically when you know,
- 2:32Speaker 2: as a defensive guy too, Clay, It's like when you
- 2:34Speaker 2: see defenses getting home with four like, oh man, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: covered checks whatever, it is just getting after Like I
- 2:40Speaker 2: appreciate that, but you know, in this older age, like
- 2:42Speaker 2: I want to see some exciting football. And I caught
- 2:46Speaker 2: myself because I was on Seattle the whole time, but
- 2:48Speaker 2: we had the week there, we had the interview with
- 2:50Speaker 2: Variable like we're round more Patriots, Like I started to
- 2:53Speaker 2: fall in love with the story. I started to fall
- 2:55Speaker 2: in love with the idea, you know what, maybe they
- 2:56Speaker 2: can do it. I was hopeful that they did that,
- 2:59Speaker 2: they could do it. I bet against them still.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But you put yourself in a win win situation.
- 3:05Speaker 2: And then when it happened, you're just like, yeah, it
- 3:07Speaker 2: was always going to be this way. It was always
- 3:09Speaker 2: going to be this way. I'm mad at bon Knicks.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I'm mad Josh Allen couldn't get it done in Denver,
- 3:14Speaker 2: and then I'm mad at bon Knicks for getting hurt
- 3:16Speaker 2: at the end of that game. Yeah, not saying that
- 3:18Speaker 2: they would have beat him, but.
- 3:20Speaker 3: It would have been more excited.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It'd have been more exciting.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I just want I just want good ball.
- 3:25Speaker 4: You know my mother in laws and who do you want.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I'm like, well, I like the underdog story of the Patriots,
- 3:29Speaker 4: like we all think Seattle and their defense. You want
- 3:32Speaker 4: to see Sam Donald. I'm like, i just want a
- 3:34Speaker 4: good game and halftime. I'm texting you're just being like this,
- 3:37Speaker 4: this is a snooze fest. I was just walking around upset.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I didn't even watch the fourth quarter, I don't think.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But it was just it's exactly what we all envisioned,
- 3:46Speaker 4: and even more so, it reminded me of that forty
- 3:48Speaker 4: nine Ers Seahawks game the two times they played, specifically
- 3:50Speaker 4: the week sixteen seventeen whatever it was, where don't from
- 3:55Speaker 4: Seattle's point of view, Sam Donald, don't turn the ball over,
- 3:57Speaker 4: don't make mistakes, Kenneth Walker, run the ball run the cut.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Let our defense win the game. And yeah, the sick
- 4:03Speaker 4: on one. You was like, this is great defense. Like
- 4:05Speaker 4: let's not be confused, or let's not be let's not
- 4:08Speaker 4: misinterpret this. This was a dominant defense. But like, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 4: you want to see both quarterbacks duel it out for
- 4:16Speaker 4: three hundred like we saw in the Rams Delanne, you
- 4:18Speaker 4: talk about the rams Seahawks game in the NFC Championship game,
- 4:22Speaker 4: like that is what we want to see in the
- 4:24Speaker 4: Super Bowl and for all, for all intents and purposes,
- 4:26Speaker 4: that was the Super Bowl winner of that game.
- 4:28Speaker 2: They felt like you're sitting there watching it home when
- 4:31Speaker 2: that fourth quarter hit and it was pretty much out
- 4:33Speaker 2: of reach. You just felt like any old average weekday,
- 4:36Speaker 2: that's what are you watch a Thursday night game, that's
- 4:38Speaker 2: or any game that's like over where you're just like,
- 4:40Speaker 2: all right, let's start getting ready for bed.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah that sucks, because, yeah, you want the Super Bowl
- 4:44Speaker 1: to be great. And they had like a wide view
- 4:46Speaker 1: where they had like end zone, and the end zone
- 4:48Speaker 1: kind of showed the crowd a little bit. They see
- 4:49Speaker 1: guys walking around, and it just it didn't feel like
- 4:52Speaker 1: the most important game of the year. At one point,
- 4:55Speaker 1: because it was so out of reach. But there was
- 4:56Speaker 1: a I mean, you guys talking about wanting good ball.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Get to like the part where Drake May goes down
- 5:02Speaker 1: the field those adopted Collins and in the back of
- 5:04Speaker 1: the end zone, in the front of the end zone,
- 5:05Speaker 1: and you're like, okay, we got a little something. Then
- 5:07Speaker 1: they go like four and out.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And because Delaney started saying this, y yeah, yeah, I'm
- 5:14Speaker 2: the champion. And then once the page scored, I'm like, oh,
- 5:16Speaker 2: ship something about that.
- 5:22Speaker 1: The Patriots get the ball back and they start dicing
- 5:24Speaker 1: up and you're like, oh, let's fucking They're actually about
- 5:26Speaker 1: to turn this into a game. Because as much as
- 5:28Speaker 1: Seattle was dominant, they were just kicking threes the whole time.
- 5:31Speaker 1: So they had, you know, three possessions with points and
- 5:33Speaker 1: it was still a two score game, like it was nothing.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And literally I look at the group chat and I
- 5:39Speaker 1: see your text says what is Drake May doing? I'm like, fuck,
- 5:42Speaker 1: something about to happen. Sure Enough, the next play, Drake
- 5:45Speaker 1: May just sails one in the middle of the field.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I'm like, what the fuck what are we doing?
- 5:49Speaker 2: That one wasn't even the pick. It was the start
- 5:51Speaker 2: of that series. Where he missed Austin Hooper. Oh why
- 5:55Speaker 2: Hooper got right behind the defense miss him on the overthrow.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Then the next play he throws into like triple coverage,
- 6:01Speaker 2: could have been picked off. Then he went on that scramble,
- 6:03Speaker 2: which is like going triple coverage. Then he takes off
- 6:07Speaker 2: running on third down, and we're trying to figure out
- 6:09Speaker 2: if we're if I'm behind, if I'm ahead. It's like, oh,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you're you're lying or something about about lying and maybe
- 6:16Speaker 2: then the pick happens, and then I'm like, Okay, you
- 6:20Speaker 2: know what I'm talking about. You thought did you think
- 6:21Speaker 2: I was trying to cover up?
- 6:22Speaker 5: I thought you were trying to cover up to health
- 6:24Speaker 5: because I didn't see the pick yet.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Oh got you you were talking about? Yeah, and then
- 6:32Speaker 2: he throws that pick. It's just like son of a
- 6:34Speaker 2: bitch man. There there was a long period of time
- 6:37Speaker 2: where I want to say, Collinsworth came on and said
- 6:39Speaker 2: that they hadn't had a first down since like the
- 6:41Speaker 2: first quarter.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, and it was just three and out after
- 6:45Speaker 1: three and out, man, It's it shocked, But there was
- 6:49Speaker 1: a piece of hope in me when when Drake threw
- 6:51Speaker 1: that touchdown and all that was happening before he threw
- 6:54Speaker 1: that insane pick. I was like, oh, we're about to
- 6:56Speaker 1: have a game, like a game that's so terrible but
- 6:59Speaker 1: ends up the last like fifteen minutes is unbelievable. And
- 7:02Speaker 1: it wasn't. There was like three minutes of like all right,
- 7:04Speaker 1: here we go, we got little something.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Here and then and it felt like too like Seattle.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Even when they were taking threes, like they were almost uh,
- 7:11Speaker 2: just playing like all right, we're in range here. It
- 7:13Speaker 2: it'd be like what third and five or third and
- 7:15Speaker 2: six and they'd run the football. It's almost as they
- 7:18Speaker 2: would just play for three. Yeah, we're gonna beat this team.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Like this offense isn't gonna move on us, right.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It's almost as if they watched the Patriots Bronco game
- 7:24Speaker 1: and they're just like, yeah, we'll just take points when
- 7:26Speaker 1: they give to us yep. And instead of like trying
- 7:28Speaker 1: to press and get seven or get six, like, let's
- 7:30Speaker 1: just take three and let this game come to us.
- 7:32Speaker 2: In all sixty minutes, almost even New England it felt
- 7:35Speaker 2: like wasn't playing aggressive. They ran the ball on a
- 7:38Speaker 2: third and five and just kind of played for field position.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We're just like trying to get in trying to get
- 7:42Speaker 2: in some kind of scoring range.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Collinsworth was bringing that up, like both teams were
- 7:46Speaker 1: playing so conservative at points in the game where it's like,
- 7:49Speaker 1: now you open it up, Like I understand that the
- 7:51Speaker 1: first couple of series on both sides, like the nerves
- 7:54Speaker 1: have to be insane. Yeah, I mean you two both
- 7:56Speaker 1: know what it's like walking into a super Bowl and
- 7:57Speaker 1: how everyone's butt holes are super tight. But once you
- 8:01Speaker 1: get into like the second quarter, it's like, Okay, now
- 8:02Speaker 1: you're playing, you should have like all the nerves off
- 8:04Speaker 1: of you and understanding, Okay, this is just a game.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's try to.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Is it like that like when you hit you know,
- 8:11Speaker 2: that first quarter when you guys are experiencing the Super
- 8:13Speaker 2: Bowl for the first time.
- 8:14Speaker 4: What year were you in, because, like I've always said this,
- 8:16Speaker 4: I was only in year two. So in two thousand
- 8:19Speaker 4: and nine, my rookie year, that's when a Rod started
- 8:21Speaker 4: getting hot. We lost that fifty one to forty nine
- 8:23Speaker 4: overtime thriller to the Arizona Cardinals, And so for me,
- 8:27Speaker 4: even though the season ended, I was like, thank goodness.
- 8:29Speaker 4: You know, you talk about how long that season is.
- 8:32Speaker 4: And then the next year we're kind of underdogs, a
- 8:35Speaker 4: sixth seed, And so I didn't like the Super Bowl
- 8:37Speaker 4: to me in my second year, like you don't you
- 8:40Speaker 4: would hope, you know, Drake would have that same that
- 8:42Speaker 4: same mindset, which is like, don't make it bigger than
- 8:44Speaker 4: it is. So that's kind of how I approached it.
- 8:46Speaker 4: And I think I played lou still talking, talking my
- 8:49Speaker 4: stuff out there, like having fun, and you know, our
- 8:52Speaker 4: defense showed up. But I think if I was in
- 8:55Speaker 4: year ten or whatever, it was like, you know, you
- 8:58Speaker 4: might be a little tense in the first quarter, like
- 9:00Speaker 4: you had mentioned I'm not sure about you doing Yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 4: I stal with or you just I mean, you just
- 9:05Speaker 4: realized the magnitude of the game. Like I think about
- 9:07Speaker 4: it now, like the loss is really like the NFC
- 9:10Speaker 4: Championship game against the Seahawks, Like we beat the Patriots
- 9:13Speaker 4: earlier that year. Granted it was at Lambeau, but that's
- 9:16Speaker 4: a Rod versus Tom Brady in the super Bowl, and
- 9:18Speaker 4: that Super Bowl still gave us that the interception on
- 9:21Speaker 4: the goal line. But you think of like anybody can
- 9:23Speaker 4: win one Super Bowl, like what about two times? You know,
- 9:25Speaker 4: you start thinking like that and like what what type
- 9:28Speaker 4: of places would you have made and what does that
- 9:29Speaker 4: mean for your legacy? Like you start playing those games,
- 9:31Speaker 4: but you know when you're young in your career, like,
- 9:33Speaker 4: oh man, that's whatever, Like you know the next year
- 9:35Speaker 4: we're fifteen and one, you know we're gonna be back again.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah I was. I was in year seven. So that
- 9:41Speaker 3: was like you come out, you You're like, am I
- 9:43Speaker 3: ever gonna get here again? I gotta win this game?
- 9:46Speaker 3: So you kind of playing with that for the stats.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Here you got a nice little picture with you.
- 9:49Speaker 1: That's a nice little picture right there.
- 9:52Speaker 3: That's uh, I forget his name. He was one of
- 9:55Speaker 3: those big dbs.
- 9:56Speaker 1: He was good. He was good unless earn it, right,
- 10:00Speaker 1: unless they earn it.
- 10:01Speaker 3: But no, I was I'll be honest. I was nervous
- 10:04Speaker 3: as hell until to the second half. I think the
- 10:06Speaker 3: second half. That's when we came back out and was
- 10:08Speaker 3: just like we've done this before, we've been here. All
- 10:11Speaker 3: the guys kind of chilled out after that. But I
- 10:14Speaker 3: think being a seven year bet going and going to
- 10:17Speaker 3: the Super Bowl, you're not really knowing if you're gonna
- 10:18Speaker 3: have that opportunity to go back. I mean, shit, that's
- 10:22Speaker 3: like you gotta win because I don't know when I'm
- 10:24Speaker 3: coming back, And I never went back obviously.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But.
- 10:30Speaker 1: We had a chance. We had a chance, you did.
- 10:33Speaker 1: We had a chance for Delanny, for you this when
- 10:37Speaker 1: you were in the Super Bowl playing, what was that
- 10:38Speaker 1: week like? And then because you go every year to
- 10:40Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, you're there in San Francisco, Like I'm
- 10:43Speaker 1: thinking about it as a guy that's never been there,
- 10:45Speaker 1: but watching like Opening Night, all the media taking place,
- 10:48Speaker 1: how it's like a true event for seven days, and
- 10:52Speaker 1: I can only imagine how I would be sitting in
- 10:53Speaker 1: a hotel room like you an tame me get on
- 10:55Speaker 1: social media, you realize everybody and anybody in your world
- 10:58Speaker 1: is talking about this. Was it like that when you played.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Everybody in the city?
- 11:04Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like it was like that, but
- 11:06Speaker 3: the magnitude obviously is way better because of social media podcasts.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You got everybody in there.
- 11:13Speaker 3: But I'd say I wasn't as a big as a
- 11:16Speaker 3: star back then. So when you that star, you you
- 11:19Speaker 3: really getting pulled here here, here. You gotta do interviews,
- 11:23Speaker 3: you gotta go meet these people. You gotta do this.
- 11:24Speaker 3: So Drake being young and being a star and him
- 11:28Speaker 3: the runner up to MVP, like I feel like he
- 11:30Speaker 3: was being tugged to do a lot of things, and
- 11:34Speaker 3: and it almost probably took him away from football a
- 11:37Speaker 3: little bit, because you there, you know, you get there early.
- 11:40Speaker 3: They're like, hey, we got a lot of appearances. You're drake.
- 11:42Speaker 3: You gotta stop at hospitals, you gotta kiss babies, you
- 11:44Speaker 3: gotta take pictures, you gotta do all these interviews.
- 11:48Speaker 1: All the things.
- 11:48Speaker 3: And it's probably like, damn, I made it second year,
- 11:51Speaker 3: and everybody tell him how good he is. And sometimes
- 11:54Speaker 3: you put that put football on the back burner because
- 11:56Speaker 3: you know, practice is not as hard.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I'm cut you off here, but like I read, I
- 12:01Speaker 4: thought this was interesting that the Patriots did not install
- 12:04Speaker 4: their game plan until they got to San Francisco. So
- 12:07Speaker 4: here's what we did in Green Bay is we spent
- 12:10Speaker 4: that first week putting in the install We treated it
- 12:14Speaker 4: you know, hey, you'd have Tuesday off, We treated it
- 12:16Speaker 4: the same Wednesday, Wednesday, shells Thursday, full pads Friday, and
- 12:20Speaker 4: then you travel out there maybe Saturday. So the next
- 12:22Speaker 4: week all the you were ready to go, but you
- 12:25Speaker 4: had another week of preparation. I and obviously I'm saying
- 12:29Speaker 4: this in hindsight now, like and Josh mcdamiels has coached
- 12:31Speaker 4: in a number of Super Bowls where even if they've
- 12:33Speaker 4: lost Brady Stone for five hundred yards, I don't you know,
- 12:37Speaker 4: you look at the result and what you saw, Like
- 12:39Speaker 4: with all the distractions out there, would they have changed
- 12:42Speaker 4: things up.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Or the different perspective of maybe football is not on
- 12:45Speaker 2: the back burner, like football is sitting at the forefront
- 12:48Speaker 2: of your mind. And when you're trying to study and
- 12:49Speaker 2: do all the ball, but you're also thinking about all
- 12:51Speaker 2: the obligations you're gonna have to do, you know what
- 12:53Speaker 2: I mean, Like, all right, I got to get all
- 12:54Speaker 2: my studying in and I only have like an hour
- 12:56Speaker 2: and a half right now before I got to do
- 12:58Speaker 2: this or do that. Kind of just pulls away. That's
- 13:01Speaker 2: the part that kind of like pulls that you because
- 13:03Speaker 2: you can't be fully focused on the task at hands.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Yeah, how much entertainment is too much entertainment? Like when
- 13:09Speaker 1: we're watching the Super Bowl last night, every time they
- 13:11Speaker 1: would go to or from a commercial break, it'd be
- 13:13Speaker 1: like solo shots of like Lawrence like.
- 13:16Speaker 2: And like.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And I'm thinking, when did they do thisself? Like, Okay,
- 13:21Speaker 1: we're doing we're doing a photo shoot for this like
- 13:24Speaker 1: if someone was like Taylor super Bowl, we have to
- 13:26Speaker 1: do a photo show, even my attention Hordness would be like,
- 13:29Speaker 1: I don't need to. This is that's ridiculous. Might just
- 13:32Speaker 1: take a photo like you saw Harold Landry, Yeah, did
- 13:34Speaker 1: you see it all? Everybody's in like nice outfits or
- 13:38Speaker 1: what they they're like styled up, and then Harold's just
- 13:40Speaker 1: in like the zip op like whatever the team gave him.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Like Harold's doing it right. Yeah, Harold understood the process here.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I just thought it was weird that they had like
- 13:49Speaker 1: SNL cutaway type of things where they're like showing guys
- 13:53Speaker 1: like doing.
- 13:53Speaker 2: The little.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Like that.
- 13:56Speaker 4: It looked like the Seattle boys like they got dressed up.
- 13:58Speaker 4: They looked like Cooper's down on the knee like new kids,
- 14:01Speaker 4: like ken Walker's got his glass. It looked like the
- 14:03Speaker 4: Patriots were buttoned up like you had said, they had
- 14:05Speaker 4: the zip up and whatnot, like that was their media
- 14:07Speaker 4: day attire. But you kind of get caught up in
- 14:09Speaker 4: it all too when you go through it, like and
- 14:11Speaker 4: you know, when you're playing to you almost feel like
- 14:13Speaker 4: you don't have a voice until you're older. You kind
- 14:15Speaker 4: of just go with the flow because you don't want
- 14:16Speaker 4: to be abrasive. So there's a bit of that, And
- 14:18Speaker 4: I mean, who knows.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I actually like that if they would have won, it
- 14:23Speaker 3: would have just really.
- 14:25Speaker 4: And the Warriors. I'm blanking on Buddy's name. I just know,
- 14:28Speaker 4: I just know he's always barefoot. Yeah, he scored a
- 14:30Speaker 4: touchdown right.
- 14:31Speaker 1: In front of the show a booth.
- 14:33Speaker 5: At the Super Bowl for opening night, your own individual boots.
- 14:37Speaker 5: What's that like?
- 14:38Speaker 2: Man?
- 14:39Speaker 4: You know what? It's one you guys were loaded with
- 14:48Speaker 4: about like your super Bowl team. I mean I kind
- 14:50Speaker 4: of understand, and to be honest, like we've talked about
- 14:52Speaker 4: you were always playing second fiddle to Vernon Davis. Was
- 14:54Speaker 4: he still on the team at the time. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 4: so like but they I mean everybody and that was
- 14:58Speaker 4: Cap and Frank or just Smith Patricks like bro, you're
- 15:04Speaker 4: forty nine or I love like in hindsight, when you
- 15:07Speaker 4: think of those matches, it was a good matchups defensively
- 15:10Speaker 4: Alton Smith with his.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Long as Justice Smith Smith McDonald's Brooks.
- 15:18Speaker 4: So what really happened that halftime when they shut the
- 15:21Speaker 4: lights off? Because I know San Francisco, you got the
- 15:24Speaker 4: electrical substation and a lot of conspiracy theories floating around
- 15:27Speaker 4: what happened.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, back in the game, we had talked about it
- 15:30Speaker 3: on the bus. We had Patrick Willis.
- 15:35Speaker 2: It hasn't here yet.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Well, never mind, don't.
- 15:39Speaker 2: He'll break it down and say, look at the dudes
- 15:42Speaker 2: in the suits that's come up right before the lights.
- 15:44Speaker 3: All you got to do is look at the guys
- 15:47Speaker 3: and and then and you see how it's like shadow
- 15:49Speaker 3: The lights are not even all off.
- 15:51Speaker 4: How is the how are the auxiliary lights? You know,
- 15:55Speaker 4: call generator. You know what I'm saying. Just in case
- 15:57Speaker 4: there's an emergency, so the generators don't kick on all
- 16:00Speaker 4: the lights just they We need a big generatorator.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, big as well. No, I think it was
- 16:10Speaker 3: I think it was turned off purpose. The game was
- 16:13Speaker 3: getting it was getting out of hand and they needed
- 16:16Speaker 3: to slow the game.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Yeah it worked.
- 16:18Speaker 3: And I feel like even with the like even I
- 16:21Speaker 3: know it's subtle, but these streakers, the games was getting
- 16:24Speaker 3: out of hand. The streaker comes out, slows the game down.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Patriots scored touchdown. Keep it one, honey, look think about it.
- 16:32Speaker 3: That's how it's like. They do things like that to
- 16:35Speaker 3: slow Yeah, slow the game. Yeah, it definitely is something
- 16:42Speaker 3: about it.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I don't know, you know.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Uh, this is a good job of I don't even
- 16:45Speaker 1: know the streaker happened. I was on Twitter and then
- 16:47Speaker 1: I ended up seeing the streaker. Yeah, but I want
- 16:51Speaker 1: to see that on TV.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Now. They they yeah, they won't do it.
- 16:54Speaker 1: You see all these things down like these different gambling apps.
- 16:57Speaker 1: We can gambling like regular like every day streaker people
- 17:01Speaker 1: will bet on a streaker, like they'll bet on a
- 17:04Speaker 1: streaker and then they'll be the one that streaks and
- 17:06Speaker 1: get paid.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what he was doing, saying his back, he's
- 17:09Speaker 3: streaking because he betted, he betted on it.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Zooming on his back.
- 17:13Speaker 6: But it's something at his yea, yeah, and hands in
- 17:21Speaker 6: the hands and hands oh man.
- 17:24Speaker 3: That's a social media trained, flex trained.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Buddy is Buddy is rock.
- 17:31Speaker 2: He's got a nice back.
- 17:35Speaker 3: But when he saw a Patriot coming after a kicker
- 17:40Speaker 3: or something like that, it was a receiver.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Outside of Christian Zal, he is probably the only one
- 17:51Speaker 4: who played defense at the defense was.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Tell you what, early in the game.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I want to say that if it means something crazy, okay,
- 18:02Speaker 3: all right, I've never been.
- 18:04Speaker 2: For sure, Yeah, but I thought though based on the
- 18:07Speaker 2: first couple of series I was like, Sammy d might
- 18:09Speaker 2: throw himself a pick at some point because Patriots and
- 18:15Speaker 2: he he was still slinging it to me in my mind,
- 18:18Speaker 2: He's like, all right, I'm not gonna let this moment
- 18:19Speaker 2: get too big, Like I'm just gonna cut it loose.
- 18:21Speaker 2: He was cutting it.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah, there was one of the linebacker was so tight
- 18:25Speaker 1: and they went and stapped and everything over.
- 18:31Speaker 2: About when the tight ends.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Barnum Barnum, Michigan Man, Barner Barnum, Michigan.
- 18:37Speaker 2: State clump in on the first touchdown.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Out what you called that one one of the social contractors.
- 18:46Speaker 5: He was like, I have a weird feeling that the
- 18:48Speaker 5: first touchdowns.
- 18:50Speaker 1: It's weird that happened in the second half.
- 18:53Speaker 2: And then what what do you say? I can't believe
- 18:56Speaker 2: this Barner touchdown, first touchdown still alive because I been scored.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It was like nothing minutes after that text too. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 1: thought I thought the Patriots game plan was real basic too,
- 19:07Speaker 1: Like they didn't every time.
- 19:09Speaker 2: We felt that way when you watch the play Like
- 19:11Speaker 2: when we were sitting there breaking down and watching kind
- 19:12Speaker 2: of the playoff film, I was like, man, their running
- 19:15Speaker 2: game is just duo in one back, maybe a couple
- 19:18Speaker 2: zones and then they get into two back and try
- 19:20Speaker 2: to run the ball. I'm thinking in my head, like,
- 19:23Speaker 2: there's no way this team is just gonna be able
- 19:25Speaker 2: to run the football Seattle right break, not a.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Whole lot of motions, And like when Henderson was in,
- 19:32Speaker 1: it was, hey, let's try to get the perimeter every
- 19:34Speaker 1: single time with pitch concepts, tackle pulling out to the perimeter,
- 19:37Speaker 1: and then with a Remandre it's like, yeah, duo duo
- 19:41Speaker 1: inside zone. Let's just try to beat him up. And
- 19:43Speaker 1: it's like then the passing game was, Hey, let's let's
- 19:46Speaker 1: drop back and just see what happens. Let's have like
- 19:48Speaker 1: route concepts, like there was no like getting getting Drake
- 19:50Speaker 1: to use his legs, Like let's roll him out, hit
- 19:52Speaker 1: a little mar or like a Randall type thing. You
- 19:54Speaker 1: fake the handoff, you keep rolling so he can have
- 19:56Speaker 1: that that run option in front of him, but also
- 19:58Speaker 1: a flow of like wide receive coming over the top
- 20:01Speaker 1: as you just kind of sait there, like you kind
- 20:02Speaker 1: of just put it looked like day one install.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And then that's why I felt like Drake was kind
- 20:06Speaker 2: of feeling the pressure because there would also still be
- 20:08Speaker 2: guys that he could have hit before he takes the sack.
- 20:12Speaker 1: No, And it breaks my heart too, because like they
- 20:14Speaker 1: were like Collinsworth and them who are calling the game
- 20:17Speaker 1: were so ready to come out Will Campbell, And to
- 20:19Speaker 1: be like fair to them, Will did not play good
- 20:22Speaker 1: by any means, Like it wasn't like he had like
- 20:24Speaker 1: a great game, and you know, people were just talking
- 20:26Speaker 1: shit like he played not bad. He played bad, But
- 20:29Speaker 1: there were a lot of plays that figures are getting
- 20:31Speaker 1: pointed at him, and I'm like, well, that's not necessarily
- 20:34Speaker 1: his fault. One specifically was the bull rush that took
- 20:36Speaker 1: place earlier in the game. Guard hits him and hits
- 20:39Speaker 1: him off of a will Drake starts rolling out to
- 20:41Speaker 1: the right because there's pressure on the right side, ends
- 20:43Speaker 1: up ending up in a sack, and they're like, Will
- 20:45Speaker 1: Campbell got bullied on that plan. I'm like, well, not really,
- 20:48Speaker 1: but they just there's a couple of times too. Drake's
- 20:51Speaker 1: like sitting there in the pocket, He's got a clean
- 20:52Speaker 1: pocket for seconds and the guards getting just like dying
- 20:55Speaker 1: a slow death to the point we're like, look at
- 20:57Speaker 1: the guard, be like, buddy, that's you can't really do
- 21:00Speaker 1: anything more than that. Yeah, And it gets a sack
- 21:02Speaker 1: over the top of the guard.
- 21:03Speaker 3: They just showed it. Yeah, first sack. I think it
- 21:05Speaker 3: was his first career sack. That gout get in there
- 21:08Speaker 3: and just bull rushes him. Yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I think the biggest difference maker in this game is
- 21:12Speaker 4: like what we saw we talked about with the Patriots
- 21:14Speaker 4: doing you know, single back. They never had two backs
- 21:16Speaker 4: in the backfield. They never brought in or they did
- 21:18Speaker 4: bring in six I think one time to block and
- 21:20Speaker 4: they hit Booty on like a twenty plus yard reception.
- 21:23Speaker 4: But you look at the Seahawks and what they did
- 21:25Speaker 4: bring in Witherspoon, especially like he hadn't blitzed all year
- 21:28Speaker 4: and then he comes out and blitzes like six times
- 21:30Speaker 4: more than he had all year. Could have had MVP
- 21:33Speaker 4: if they would have counted that interception to Nuosu as
- 21:37Speaker 4: a sack caused fumble for a touchdown. But I mean
- 21:40Speaker 4: that's the biggest difference I thought. I think we all understood, like, hey,
- 21:43Speaker 4: Seattle roster wise has a better team. But as far
- 21:47Speaker 4: as the simulated pressures they had, not allowing the Patriots
- 21:50Speaker 4: to run when they were in too high early and
- 21:52Speaker 4: downs like it, they just I think they made those
- 21:55Speaker 4: those two weeks because you never know what's going to happen.
- 21:57Speaker 4: I think that's what why we all had hoped that
- 21:59Speaker 4: the Patriots would find a way to do something, but
- 22:01Speaker 4: it seemed more of the same, and to be honest,
- 22:03Speaker 4: they struggled through the playoffs. We talked about strength of schedules. Now,
- 22:06Speaker 4: I know they played three of the top five defenses
- 22:10Speaker 4: and then played the number six ranked defense, but it
- 22:12Speaker 4: was more the same where Seattle, defensively speaking, found a
- 22:15Speaker 4: way to take advantage of at least the left side
- 22:18Speaker 4: of the line, but it seemed like it wasn't like but.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Seattle also just has a great offense as well, Like.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Yeah, they didn't have to do anything different. They just
- 22:26Speaker 4: ran the ball, don't turn it over, kick field goals
- 22:28Speaker 4: and allow your defense. But the defense forced Drake into
- 22:31Speaker 4: that interception. They sacked him six times, they got pressure
- 22:34Speaker 4: on him. You know, however many times I think that
- 22:36Speaker 4: was the difference maker then. But I mean it was,
- 22:39Speaker 4: like like you mentioned earlier, it was fun to watch
- 22:42Speaker 4: from a defensive standpoint, but outside of that, like.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Then running Kenneth Walker, like, the only time they really
- 22:48Speaker 1: got into trouble is when they're like, let's try to
- 22:49Speaker 1: pass here, Like if it is were have kept running
- 22:52Speaker 1: for Kenneth, buddy, it would have had been even more of.
- 22:55Speaker 2: A blowout than it actually was.
- 22:56Speaker 4: He was going into I don't know, thinking franchise and
- 23:00Speaker 4: I'm not sure, maybe it was a second round pick,
- 23:02Speaker 4: but going into a contract year. Winning that Super Bowl
- 23:05Speaker 4: MVP good for him.
- 23:07Speaker 2: He turned it up.
- 23:10Speaker 1: He had that Leveon Bell type of patience in that
- 23:14Speaker 1: he sit there, He's like, but Ei, there was one
- 23:16Speaker 1: It was just kind of since pats Vee boom, Yeah,
- 23:19Speaker 1: because there was one. They were in like a duo
- 23:20Speaker 1: type of play. You can see from the side and
- 23:22Speaker 1: it looks like it's all hemmed up. Linebackers are in there.
- 23:24Speaker 1: It's like, oh, this is going nowhere. And he just
- 23:27Speaker 1: sitting in the sitting in the backfield, sitting and then
- 23:28Speaker 1: hits a small little area and gets seven or eight yards.
- 23:32Speaker 1: He it was very impressive.
- 23:33Speaker 4: With Sharboney going down. I mean, you never want to
- 23:35Speaker 4: see anybody get hurt, but that was the best thing
- 23:37Speaker 4: for him too. And I know, obviously we talked about
- 23:39Speaker 4: this on one of the shows, Kenneth Walker, how he
- 23:42Speaker 4: was running early in the year. But I mean, yeah,
- 23:45Speaker 4: I mean he took advantage of his opportunity and NF.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I mean you look at the rosters too. It's strict
- 23:51Speaker 4: segueing here, but you look at Seattle like they're loaded,
- 23:54Speaker 4: Like you got your quarterback for another two years, you
- 23:57Speaker 4: lock up your running back. They drafted well on the
- 23:59Speaker 4: off offensive line with Zabel getting yeah, defensively with those dbs,
- 24:06Speaker 4: you know even worry uh uh DeMarcus Lawrence and williams Uh.
- 24:12Speaker 4: You know, they're getting older, they get long in the tooth.
- 24:14Speaker 4: But like brother, they should be the number one team
- 24:17Speaker 4: next year, if not the Rams, like it's gonna be
- 24:19Speaker 4: one a one.
- 24:19Speaker 2: On top of all that, they're like they might be
- 24:23Speaker 2: five or six in cap space top five and caps
- 24:28Speaker 2: of the spend.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Is Jayson on his rookie deal?
- 24:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Jason's a rookie deal. Sam Darnold, Like, I
- 24:34Speaker 1: think it's it's weird to say only one hundred million
- 24:37Speaker 1: as opposed to some of these quarterbacks.
- 24:39Speaker 4: You know, ralf a bill that they got rookie contract
- 24:42Speaker 4: running back, yep.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Squad that they got guys coming back and having that
- 24:45Speaker 2: much money to also spend.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I don't think he even money like run
- 24:53Speaker 3: yeah basically yeah.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but un is not like a death for running Yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 2: who gonna break? Yeah, I mean you think Seattle, like
- 25:02Speaker 2: Seattle is gonna want them take a hometown discount.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yes they are.
- 25:06Speaker 4: But I think as a running back, you don't get
- 25:08Speaker 4: paid a whole lot. How much too? How much does
- 25:10Speaker 4: did Derek Henry got realp he got there? What's he making?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Eleven million?
- 25:13Speaker 3: Thirteen?
- 25:14Speaker 4: That's nothing? Yeah, I think, but we always talk about
- 25:16Speaker 4: running backs and tight ends. As much as they contribute
- 25:18Speaker 4: to the offense, they don't make as much as pass rushers, quarterbacks,
- 25:23Speaker 4: you know, comparatively whatever the word would be. Where you know,
- 25:26Speaker 4: they're making fifty sixty million dollars, like a running back
- 25:28Speaker 4: who can run for should have been one seventy if
- 25:31Speaker 4: not for the holding uh call one should have brought
- 25:33Speaker 4: Terrell Davis is a super Bowl record, But nonetheless, like
- 25:37Speaker 4: twelve million is nothing. I mean, I hate that, you know,
- 25:39Speaker 4: but yeah, with the cap and the CAP's going up
- 25:41Speaker 4: every year, probably another ten million.
- 25:43Speaker 2: You know.
- 25:44Speaker 4: It's so you think they're standing.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I think he's gonna test the market just to see
- 25:48Speaker 3: where he was.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Just well, you should get offers.
- 25:50Speaker 1: But they march before the new year it opens up because.
- 25:54Speaker 5: The NFL salary cap has increased by almost one hundred millions.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Two yeah, because a gambling that's why, Because of Taim
- 26:02Speaker 3: Swift and because of these.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Gambling games out in Australia. Yeah yeah, and forty nine
- 26:11Speaker 4: playing in Australia next year.
- 26:13Speaker 1: No ship, How much.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Bullshit is that?
- 26:14Speaker 5: Bro?
- 26:15Speaker 2: I hate that? Think about it, dude, They're right there
- 26:19Speaker 2: in Cali, like you got a division rival, Like how
- 26:24Speaker 2: far away are you guys from each other? That's not half?
- 26:28Speaker 4: I'm sorry, well you know Seattle, Yeah, something like that.
- 26:30Speaker 4: But either way, now you gotta fly twelve and a.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Half hours playing Australia. Man longer.
- 26:36Speaker 1: No way you're saying it. I'm with you right now.
- 26:39Speaker 5: How do you feel about the halftime show topic?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this is so Clump doesn't have a mic,
- 26:45Speaker 1: but he just asked Will about the halftime show?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Wanted to watch? I sent her to a room. You
- 26:50Speaker 2: ain't watching this ship. I'm trying to raise an American.
- 26:53Speaker 4: You didn't like.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Hey, no, buddy is American?
- 26:57Speaker 2: No he ain't. He don't love us.
- 27:01Speaker 4: I love how you lean into it all the time.
- 27:03Speaker 4: That's what you're so great?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Well told us come down here, sweet, I got something
- 27:07Speaker 2: else on for you. She comes down. We got kid
- 27:08Speaker 2: Rock playing.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Listening is Alex Jones podcast.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yeahein files keep watching Kidat. How was you able to
- 27:22Speaker 2: when did that come on the Kid Rock halftime?
- 27:25Speaker 1: I think it was at halftime where at you.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Had to go to like I don't know, you know,
- 27:29Speaker 4: a different the White House law, the White House, don't
- 27:32Speaker 4: know it was.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Watching something I saw getting killed. Yeah I did too.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yeah I was yeah, and again I was just getting
- 27:43Speaker 2: that from my my ex timeline. But it seemed like
- 27:45Speaker 2: everybody was killing the viewership. That is honestly, we had uh.
- 27:53Speaker 2: We had told rue like now we have the power
- 27:55Speaker 2: back on and everything else, like we're gonna get the
- 27:57Speaker 2: hot tub up and going. So during halftime we went
- 27:59Speaker 2: out and just got hot tub. But it wasn't for
- 28:01Speaker 2: like a protest. I told myself this, I let my
- 28:04Speaker 2: family go and do that, like I'm gonna join you guys,
- 28:06Speaker 2: And internally I was like, this is me protest.
- 28:10Speaker 4: You what did you think of the show?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Though?
- 28:12Speaker 4: In all honesty, when I I don't.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I didn't see it. I didn't see any of it.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Okay, you were just out.
- 28:17Speaker 2: We were out in the hot tub.
- 28:18Speaker 4: I feel like you didn't miss much. I don't think
- 28:21Speaker 4: there was any contra anything controversial about it. I think,
- 28:25Speaker 4: aside from the song that starts with the violin, Like
- 28:27Speaker 4: I was like, okay, I've heard that song. I had
- 28:29Speaker 4: no idea what was going on, but it was filmed
- 28:30Speaker 4: in such a way. We talked about this when the
- 28:32Speaker 4: show started, like it was cool in that regard, but
- 28:35Speaker 4: I felt like the music video, yeah, it felt like
- 28:37Speaker 4: you were there, Like it was not like the fish
- 28:39Speaker 4: Eye Lands, but like, I don't know the way it
- 28:41Speaker 4: was filmed. It just didn't look like it was from
- 28:42Speaker 4: behind a camera. So it was kind of cool in
- 28:44Speaker 4: that regard. But and then you saw we talk about
- 28:47Speaker 4: Ricky Martin looks good man, it looks good out.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Listen. I didn't understand a word in the whole halftime show,
- 28:57Speaker 1: but I thought it was kind of solid. It was
- 28:58Speaker 1: somebody kind of went off little bit. I'm thinking, I'm like,
- 29:01Speaker 1: he's got to be saying something cool right now what
- 29:03Speaker 1: I did. And I love how all the plants were people,
- 29:05Speaker 1: but they had the plants walking out after the bushes
- 29:08Speaker 1: were people falls through the house and that was then
- 29:12Speaker 1: it cuts to him like getting up. I'm like, dude,
- 29:14Speaker 1: this dude, and you know, it was.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Like it was supposed to be like the nineteen seventies
- 29:17Speaker 3: when he fell through, That's why everything changed.
- 29:20Speaker 2: It was like the nineteen seventies.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Then he walked back out right into twenty twenty six,
- 29:24Speaker 3: like that was supposed to be. Like the message behind
- 29:26Speaker 3: it because I use my ear pods and put it
- 29:29Speaker 3: on a translation, so I can pretty much.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Understand everything in a different level. I mean, you know,
- 29:35Speaker 1: he was saying that, you know, they got he was
- 29:37Speaker 1: saying that they did, dude when he when he fell
- 29:43Speaker 1: through the house. I'm like, me and Town are talking
- 29:45Speaker 1: a little. I'm like, yeah, this is like entertaining. I
- 29:47Speaker 1: don't know what's going on, but it's it's solid, Like
- 29:48Speaker 1: I don't even so mad about immediately cuts the two
- 29:51Speaker 1: guys grinding, I know, by the truck. What the fuck
- 29:56Speaker 1: were doing here? When return to that, guys like I
- 29:59Speaker 1: don't know, Like, but why what was that that was
- 30:02Speaker 1: about the truck?
- 30:03Speaker 3: I said, what was that?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Right?
- 30:05Speaker 1: Quick little flash?
- 30:07Speaker 2: Hey?
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, a little bit that right there. I thought
- 30:12Speaker 1: that was sick.
- 30:13Speaker 4: You know, it's just a cutaway though, right yeah?
- 30:16Speaker 3: Oh what? Oh yeah, Okay, I was wondering.
- 30:19Speaker 2: I'm glad I was about that. It has happened.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Hey, that really wasn't cut away? I could like I thought,
- 30:29Speaker 1: I thought it was an incredible camera was acting because dude,
- 30:35Speaker 1: bad him. You see all the celebrities walking by, like, hey,
- 30:38Speaker 1: are you excited for the bad Bundy? Like no, like
- 30:39Speaker 1: people just being like outwardly angry about bad Bunny. People
- 30:42Speaker 1: forget about how great he Wasn't happy Gilmore too, Like
- 30:44Speaker 1: you don't want to give credit for that?
- 30:46Speaker 2: What was he? What was he doing?
- 30:48Speaker 1: He was a caddy?
- 30:48Speaker 2: Was the caddy the whole down?
- 30:51Speaker 4: You see happy Goodmore to sport that.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah, look that's him.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Oh ship. He worked at the red he took the
- 31:00Speaker 2: fro the restaurant, and he was good.
- 31:02Speaker 1: He was good in the movie. Have you not seen
- 31:04Speaker 1: the movie?
- 31:05Speaker 2: I've seen it. I've seen it, but I've kind of forgotten.
- 31:09Speaker 4: You know that lets you as you are.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I'm thinking there's no way that you've forgotten.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Remember I didn't watch it the opening night, that's okay.
- 31:17Speaker 2: So when we were talking about on the pod the
- 31:19Speaker 2: next week, I hadn't watched it yet. I remember like
- 31:21Speaker 2: they played some you know, but modern video game type
- 31:24Speaker 2: golf at the end for the wind.
- 31:26Speaker 3: They loved him until he got the super Bowl halftime show.
- 31:30Speaker 3: That's just how I have, Like, you know, Donald Trump.
- 31:33Speaker 3: They love Donald Trump to he became the president.
- 31:35Speaker 4: So I mean, weve got a messag from Donald Trup.
- 31:39Speaker 3: I said, loved him until he became the president. That's
- 31:43Speaker 3: how they loved him until he had the super Bowl
- 31:46Speaker 3: halftime show.
- 31:48Speaker 2: How you guys feel about him sitting down during God
- 31:50Speaker 2: Bless America. Didn't love that.
- 31:51Speaker 3: I didn't see it.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Didn't love that when that was a clip.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It was a clip that showed like bad Buddy was
- 31:57Speaker 1: sitting there. Well, they're saying, I don't think it was
- 31:59Speaker 1: God Bless America was national anthem?
- 32:00Speaker 2: Was this real? But was real?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Hey, I'll tell you what I mean.
- 32:05Speaker 2: My kids up the one photo I saw, I don't
- 32:08Speaker 2: know if that was him, but.
- 32:11Speaker 4: You saw it on that and it's gotta be true.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I was looking for some rage out there.
- 32:17Speaker 3: So they supposed to be about anything that's not him.
- 32:20Speaker 4: That's him at a baseball game, even that that ain't
- 32:23Speaker 4: the super Bowl. Man, I know what I'm saying this
- 32:25Speaker 4: game that don't even.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Do that look like him to you?
- 32:30Speaker 4: Yeah, he said America.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I'm like, yo, I didn't see that.
- 32:41Speaker 4: No, no, no, there they're he didn't sing taking out
- 32:43Speaker 4: to the ball game in the six He's an anti
- 32:46Speaker 4: American right there?
- 32:47Speaker 1: How can we tell that I did see the same
- 32:48Speaker 1: thing you did? Why why do not you stand up thinking?
- 32:51Speaker 2: And then when I saw too, they're like, oh, the
- 32:54Speaker 2: entire show was in Spanish ball ball. I was like
- 32:56Speaker 2: it should be fucking English.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Lots of clips.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Jake Paul told me not to watch this and go
- 33:05Speaker 2: watch watch in the hot Human.
- 33:10Speaker 4: So then you you must have loved last year' Kendrick
- 33:12Speaker 4: lamar a super Bowl, then if you if you enjoyed
- 33:15Speaker 4: bad Bunny this year, right, tell me about last year's.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Is that when he was doing that, he did the
- 33:19Speaker 2: Drake song?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:21Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I are you with?
- 33:23Speaker 2: That was what are you?
- 33:27Speaker 4: Are you Drake or Kendrick Man?
- 33:31Speaker 3: It was all Drake before the beef?
- 33:33Speaker 1: You think I think the majority of majority of the
- 33:36Speaker 1: country was all drink before the beef. And then Kendrick
- 33:39Speaker 1: came out of nowhere like wait a minor hold on, yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 1: hold on this guy, Hey, we were talking about we're
- 33:45Speaker 1: talking about Yeah.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Last name commedy. You don't support because.
- 33:52Speaker 3: That was great.
- 33:54Speaker 4: Been hard to Yeah, but watching it with kids a
- 33:58Speaker 4: year before are sure? Little John two thousand and four
- 34:02Speaker 4: senior year in high school, that was.
- 34:04Speaker 3: A good I think the way I think they changed
- 34:07Speaker 3: the dynamic of because you got to think about yeah,
- 34:09Speaker 3: prior to Super Bowls, just like can't kid friendly artists
- 34:13Speaker 3: that plays that? You know everyone knows their music? White, black,
- 34:16Speaker 3: Asian masking. You know Kendrick Lamar, I don't know how
- 34:20Speaker 3: many people knew his music. A couple of white folks.
- 34:23Speaker 1: A couple of white folks, last confident?
- 34:27Speaker 2: Do you know his music? Did I know?
- 34:29Speaker 4: It's usually before?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Yeah, if you you would have put on one of
- 34:31Speaker 1: his I know this, I've.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Heard this before. I didn't even have that's this is
- 34:41Speaker 2: that Bambino?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Hey?
- 34:45Speaker 1: That song came out like ten years ago, like last year,
- 34:47Speaker 1: two years. Have you just heard this song? This is
- 34:49Speaker 1: America song? But I think it was like Jack and
- 34:53Speaker 1: garyl like, yeah, that's been out for a decade.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Uh, Claiff, you could have one one band artist be
- 35:01Speaker 1: the halftime show at the Super Bowl.
- 35:02Speaker 2: What would it be for you?
- 35:04Speaker 1: What would seem to Clay Matthews the most top A
- 35:08Speaker 1: sharp dress man, just open it up.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I'd like to be prepared, you know.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Thanks producer clump over here you got I don't don't.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I texted I take the Globus. I was like, I'm
- 35:21Speaker 1: gonna ask about the halftime show, so make sure everybody knows.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Put me on the spot now. I don't know, I
- 35:27Speaker 4: think something for the like I'm at the age now.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Where I like you Clay Matthews.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Yeah, what does Clay Matthews want to listen to?
- 35:33Speaker 4: I don't listen to a whole lot of radio, to
- 35:35Speaker 4: be honest with you. In the bar, but I don't
- 35:37Speaker 4: know who's.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Some hot hot like no, no, no, I don't know
- 35:40Speaker 1: who hot is. What does Clay like listen to you?
- 35:42Speaker 1: It's like if you could pick the Halse, you won't be.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Really good if you've got a bunch of country music
- 35:46Speaker 4: stars together. If you were able to get a bunch
- 35:49Speaker 4: of like old and new country stars up there, because
- 35:52Speaker 4: I think country has you know that, along with pop
- 35:55Speaker 4: has really taken over. So you can get like Morgan
- 35:57Speaker 4: Walling and uh Thomas Redd you just.
- 36:00Speaker 2: He just run he running the Jelly Road playbook right now?
- 36:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, which I do.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I think that would be gas.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred and seconds. I felt like that Nashville
- 36:08Speaker 4: after after the Grain, I disagreed, like they've got like
- 36:11Speaker 4: it's not just countries and country where it's a lot
- 36:13Speaker 4: of pie grounds, like they could transcend just being a
- 36:17Speaker 4: Southern genre of music. So that that's what I would
- 36:20Speaker 4: like to listen to.
- 36:21Speaker 3: I'm gonna say fifty he did.
- 36:24Speaker 4: He did it in l A with us. He came
- 36:27Speaker 4: out down Yeah, rush, he was, he was gas.
- 36:30Speaker 3: He was like that ship was hard though, But give
- 36:32Speaker 3: him his own super Bowl and see.
- 36:34Speaker 2: What he have.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I promise you in New York can't be anywhere else
- 36:37Speaker 3: he'll be because.
- 36:38Speaker 2: That's right because they was talking about him looking like
- 36:40Speaker 2: a dollar instead.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Of get a little He came out. We were at
- 36:46Speaker 1: Oklahoma Alabama and he came out in the fourth quarter.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Holy ship kind of went.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Off to you see is a door dash commercial?
- 36:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, all that ship was hilarious.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, I don't think they had it on TV,
- 36:59Speaker 2: like on the internet and on social an ad.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Fifty he was oh he killed it.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Job, he cooked it.
- 37:06Speaker 2: You know who he cook it? Yeah?
- 37:08Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, it was that.
- 37:11Speaker 2: You know, He's like, oh they got some combs And
- 37:14Speaker 2: then who else it was? It was diddybod No, I
- 37:19Speaker 2: don't think it was jay Z. And then he's like
- 37:24Speaker 2: four years fifty months, who's count who count this star?
- 37:28Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, we were when we're watching the game. Obviously,
- 37:32Speaker 1: my kids are in it, but not really in it
- 37:34Speaker 1: like they want like they're excited about like hosting the
- 37:36Speaker 1: super Bowl party when it was really just my family
- 37:39Speaker 1: and plus the neighborhood girl. But they only want to
- 37:41Speaker 1: have snacks. So like between one break and my hey,
- 37:43Speaker 1: let's watch the commercials and you guys tell me what
- 37:46Speaker 1: they're trying to sell us. The first commercial to pop
- 37:48Speaker 1: up once I said that was that fucking lace commercial.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Oh buddy, yeah, hey, let's all let's all watch this one.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Any hands of the keys. I'm watching the commercial, I'm
- 37:57Speaker 1: tearing up till and I are like sitting there like crying.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I'm like, so what are they try to sell?
- 38:01Speaker 2: What he said? I think I'm retiring to think this
- 38:03Speaker 2: is it? She's like one last one.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Yeah, being a kid, I'm with you guys in like
- 38:09Speaker 4: the Chevy ad. Like that Chevy ad from a couple
- 38:12Speaker 4: months ago. I think was was done really well. But
- 38:15Speaker 4: there's a part of me when I see Laises putting
- 38:17Speaker 4: it on and I'm.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Like, come, Toyota did another one that was like but.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Like I saw it and it was, well, it's funny
- 38:23Speaker 4: because like my son and I we planted some uh
- 38:27Speaker 4: some bulbs. What about what are those flowers that come
- 38:29Speaker 4: out early bulbs?
- 38:31Speaker 1: Well, the bulbs are no, they're like they're they're like
- 38:34Speaker 1: not white. I don't know, three hundred bulbs getting planted.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Yeah, we planted three thousand, my son and I. And
- 38:42Speaker 4: then I saw the commercial.
- 38:43Speaker 2: He just dunked the.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Just But that commercial reminded me of my son because
- 38:52Speaker 4: I thought of, you know, the father and daughter. You know, Clay,
- 38:54Speaker 4: we gotta go check on her.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Two.
- 38:56Speaker 4: I'm blanking on the flowers right now.
- 38:58Speaker 1: But you did three thousands?
- 38:59Speaker 4: What's the first what are the first ones?
- 39:01Speaker 2: Snow drops?
- 39:03Speaker 4: Like man, not the actual name like that.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Either way, when you're saying you that wasn't I always
- 39:12Speaker 2: liked that family marketing because I feel like it just
- 39:15Speaker 2: it ties your heart. You're gonna remember the Lay's commercials you.
- 39:19Speaker 4: To buy junk, is what I'm saying. Yeah, that's all
- 39:24Speaker 4: they're trying to do, right, Yeah, that's like I'm with
- 39:28Speaker 4: you and they're gonna put Marlborough on, and you've been like, damn,
- 39:30Speaker 4: what a.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Great Right, we're kind of the middleman because we might
- 39:38Speaker 2: see it and be like, oh, we ain't messing with Lays.
- 39:41Speaker 2: But if we talk about the Lays commercial and everybody
- 39:43Speaker 2: yet like everybody.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Great commercials. Meanwhile they nola oil?
- 39:49Speaker 2: Uh oh back, why is it? Beer?
- 39:56Speaker 1: Full said?
- 39:57Speaker 4: Beer companies always have the best commercial? What is it
- 40:00Speaker 4: about them?
- 40:01Speaker 1: Because they go they you know why fastballs they fastballs fastball.
- 40:06Speaker 1: But even people want to go and do some crazy
- 40:09Speaker 1: ship like this right here, this commercial every every Americans like,
- 40:14Speaker 1: but even a.
- 40:14Speaker 4: Farmer at the end, like just the dust is in
- 40:17Speaker 4: my because he's supposed to be a hard ass when
- 40:19Speaker 4: he sees an eagle and like.
- 40:20Speaker 2: They just together together. Yeah, just always find it being
- 40:25Speaker 2: a baby close.
- 40:27Speaker 3: No, that was crazy.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Running over there, I'd probably say that was I enjoyed
- 40:33Speaker 4: that commercial.
- 40:34Speaker 2: That was a good That was number one. Yeah.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Yeah, as you sat back, you're all right that mixed
- 40:40Speaker 1: up for the halftime show.
- 40:42Speaker 3: For me, I'm in the country. That's all my neighbors
- 40:45Speaker 3: right there.
- 40:45Speaker 1: So country halftime shows easy top fifty cent for anybody's wondering.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Are they getting back together, not Angels and Airwaves or
- 40:54Speaker 4: they've been together. Okay, yeah, that's right.
- 40:56Speaker 1: They did a whole tour last year.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Man.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Yeah, the whole tour came whole album.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Florida Georgia Line comes back and gets in on the
- 41:03Speaker 2: halftime show. You're talking about.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Florida Georgia line comes back. They need to call us
- 41:06Speaker 1: with the boys and say thank you as what they
- 41:08Speaker 1: need to do.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Yeah, are they from the Bay.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was there.
- 41:17Speaker 1: When they were like going off about Trump the President.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I was there, President, you were at the Fando party.
- 41:28Speaker 2: They did it up.
- 41:29Speaker 3: It was I'm shocked, Johnny and go we did.
- 41:32Speaker 2: We did the whole blue carpet thing at the beginning,
- 41:34Speaker 2: but I had to take a red eye back and
- 41:36Speaker 2: we had to hit another one and show face at
- 41:38Speaker 2: so we had to kind of like structure it out
- 41:40Speaker 2: to where we couldn't like stay the whole time. Yeah,
- 41:42Speaker 2: we went.
- 41:42Speaker 1: We went back and they started. They were dude. They
- 41:44Speaker 1: sounded so good.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Hey, oh so you went you went back and listened.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yo, Yeah, they were awesome. They were awesome.

- 41:55Speaker 1: this little area it's like the stage on the side
- 41:58Speaker 1: and we walk up in some kind of suits like
- 41:59Speaker 1: man Taylor the one right. I was like, yeah, He's like,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I have somebody that wants to meet you. We walk
- 42:05Speaker 1: over Gavin Newsome. Wow, He's like, I thought you did
- 42:11Speaker 1: well on Sean Ryan podcast, that you did well there.

- 43:29Speaker 2: I mean there's I agree.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Nashville, Like, it's not Nashville's fault like out West or
- 43:35Speaker 1: just Mexicans.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Here.
- 43:38Speaker 1: People are from like Ecuador and Argentina and the.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Hispanic following. Bro.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, watch out the Hispanic community, especially in East Nashville.
- 43:48Speaker 4: The dinner out there. Sometimes they say what's up with

- 44:18Speaker 1: That's what you want, that's what you want.
- 44:20Speaker 3: What you want, I'm saying down.
- 44:21Speaker 1: But if you go like like the the barrier of
- 44:25Speaker 1: entry to say, hey, this is good Mexican food is
- 44:27Speaker 1: extremely low. But it's not like there's like good like
- 44:30Speaker 1: the Mexican food is just good in general the ingredients.
- 44:33Speaker 1: You go out west, that's great Mexican.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Oh it's on a whole nother level, whole another level.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Yeah, the West has better Mexican food.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's just but you can find some good
- 44:41Speaker 1: Mexican food in Nashville for Nashville. Sure, yeah, you can

- 45:05Speaker 2: It was fire.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Yeah. We went to the Tacoia, which is like I guess,
- 45:08Speaker 1: an award winning boydo and it was fire. Yes, it
- 45:11Speaker 1: was awesome. This was good too. This was yeah, good quality,
- 45:14Speaker 1: like yeah, you can kind of find it anywhere Mexican food.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Uh yeah, cafe.
- 45:20Speaker 2: But did y'all go to the deli, bros?
- 45:23Speaker 1: You know that's where the boys, those boys went there.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Yeah it was fire fire. Did you get the forty
- 45:29Speaker 3: nine er? I got the mix?
- 45:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, fire Yeah. I waited in line for
- 45:37Speaker 2: like an hour. Yeah, I love sandwiches. Brother.
- 45:43Speaker 4: What do you guys think of San Francisco?
- 45:44Speaker 3: Other than the it was it was no homeless people.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Really.
- 45:48Speaker 4: They cleaned that ship up. They cleaned them up, so weird.
- 45:51Speaker 1: You brought the pockets, Yeah, little pockets, but like anywhere
- 45:54Speaker 1: we would go. But hey, the city's actually really nice
- 45:57Speaker 1: and clean.
- 45:57Speaker 2: And everybody that I loved.
- 45:58Speaker 1: It would be like justa in a week, everybody coming.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Out saying like, oh he just your boy Gavin cleaned
- 46:05Speaker 2: it up.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:12Speaker 2: I enjoyed. I enjoyed the week out there.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well you probably went there fosom and stuff though,
- 46:17Speaker 3: like that, because Jack took y'all to the hood to
- 46:20Speaker 3: the deli. But so y'all, yeah, you tell you went
- 46:22Speaker 3: to FoxM near that area over there is where all
- 46:25Speaker 3: the smokers and stuff is at. Yeah.
- 46:28Speaker 2: They they bodies, They can't pick their bodies up. It's
- 46:31Speaker 2: just bent over It's crazy.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Those little kid toys when you pressed the bottom and
- 46:35Speaker 1: will walk down, their legs will stay. Yeah, it was
- 46:39Speaker 1: some of these people out here dangling. You have the
- 46:42Speaker 1: craziest balance I've ever seen in my life. Insane and
- 46:45Speaker 1: they were a slump tom yeah.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Right there.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but a couple of cats that I saw were
- 46:52Speaker 1: like touching the ground.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Even more so.
- 46:55Speaker 2: When they talk about like cleaning it up, like what happens,
- 46:58Speaker 2: they just kind of like forciately like go.
- 46:59Speaker 3: So they bust them out, They bust them out, but
- 47:01Speaker 3: then they put they get the homos, Hey come here
- 47:04Speaker 3: and we have something for you, and they put them
- 47:06Speaker 3: on the bush.
- 47:07Speaker 1: They literally drive them out of.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Town right Also to what they get them to a
- 47:14Speaker 2: different area. Yeah, well, as people.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Were like, hey, well if you can do this, like
- 47:19Speaker 1: why aren't we doing this all the time, They're gonna
- 47:22Speaker 1: come right back.
- 47:22Speaker 2: They'll come right back.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Also, what you'all don't know is they fence them in
- 47:26Speaker 3: another area just let them stay over there.
- 47:28Speaker 4: Like youreat zombies or.
- 47:33Speaker 1: They legit did that like see that a couple of times.
- 47:37Speaker 3: So this is actually what shoes like that.
- 47:41Speaker 2: They're they're the spots that we were at. It'll look
- 47:45Speaker 2: like that.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Most of the time, they'll just be sitting there panhandling,
- 47:49Speaker 3: tweaked out because they You man, bro, do you think
- 47:52Speaker 3: homeless people are not gonna be out during the Super
- 47:54Speaker 3: Bowl trying to panhandle? This is the most people they
- 47:57Speaker 3: gonna see. They had those boys. I don't know where
- 48:01Speaker 3: they put them at, but people were saying they got
- 48:03Speaker 3: them fenced up somewhere.
- 48:04Speaker 1: You talking about fence up is crazy, I'm telling you, bro.
- 48:08Speaker 3: In l A, they fence him up and you go
- 48:10Speaker 3: to Skip Row. It's a fence that blocked that whole freeway.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Area and they all living there. You're going there. It's
- 48:15Speaker 2: danger zone, that.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Is you know that is nuts. Hey, we went to
- 48:20Speaker 1: Alcatraz though I know.
- 48:24Speaker 2: He went with the Pro Bowlers.
- 48:26Speaker 1: No, we went with the bust with the.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Boys crew, I know, but I know the.
- 48:33Speaker 4: You guys play though, Like all that did was remind
- 48:35Speaker 4: me of Rebirth Eye, and I was like, man, it's so.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Brought that up.
- 48:38Speaker 2: A couple of times Clumb brought it up and people
- 48:40Speaker 2: were kind of questioning it, and he was like, I'm
- 48:42Speaker 2: telling you this is that.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that yard.
- 48:47Speaker 4: Is loosely, loosely based.
- 48:52Speaker 1: It's bad as it was awesome, But then you start
- 48:56Speaker 1: at the end of the thing the tour, they started
- 48:59Speaker 1: talking about how like the the prisons now are way
- 49:02Speaker 1: more like intense and dangerous. I want my Alcatraz. I
- 49:05Speaker 1: want to feel like Alcatraz like the most all time
- 49:07Speaker 1: dangerous prison kind of sound like a bunch of boys
- 49:10Speaker 1: hanging out was Yeah, it kind of seemed like, oh,
- 49:13Speaker 1: you just trying to get into the world. Was going on,
- 49:18Speaker 1: like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:20Speaker 3: I mean, but the mafia ran it, so it probably
- 49:22Speaker 3: was as smooth as it could be because you probably couldn't.
- 49:24Speaker 1: You see, the mafia ran Alcatraz most of the the
- 49:27Speaker 1: most of the mafia was in the prisoners. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 49:30Speaker 1: that makes more sense.
- 49:31Speaker 3: But I think they're saying it is dangerous because you
- 49:33Speaker 3: couldn't escape. You. I mean, one person did escape. They
- 49:35Speaker 3: don't know if he ever made it because three three
- 49:38Speaker 3: guys and how many years?
- 49:39Speaker 1: What's that? Im?
- 49:40Speaker 4: Sorry, well, I'm sure they probably told you if you
- 49:42Speaker 4: took a tour, like how many people escaped and how
- 49:44Speaker 4: many how people escaped Alcatraz?
- 49:46Speaker 1: There's three there's so there's one famous story of three
- 49:49Speaker 1: guys who used spoons to like carve out some of
- 49:52Speaker 1: the cement blocks and they went like into the walls
- 49:55Speaker 1: up and over and then got on the raft. These
- 49:57Speaker 1: three guys. The raft was found, but these three guys
- 50:00Speaker 1: were never found on shore. Are just floating in the world.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I don't know about that. They didn't go in the
- 50:05Speaker 1: detail about that, but they say that these guys they
- 50:10Speaker 1: probably drowned sharks the whole thing because you know, growing up,
- 50:15Speaker 1: spoons ain't no way. Yeah, because then Clump started bringing
- 50:18Speaker 1: up all the conspiracy theories they were actually helped out
- 50:21Speaker 1: of there. It's it's yeah, I think.
- 50:23Speaker 3: They were helped out of there. Now they like, you
- 50:27Speaker 3: can't scratch most yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:30Speaker 1: But the way they had them all kind of set
- 50:31Speaker 1: up with the masks and everything, like in the cell,
- 50:33Speaker 1: the way it was, it's it's pretty badass. Play a
- 50:36Speaker 1: little baseball.
- 50:37Speaker 3: So they had total fourteen.
- 50:40Speaker 1: There was a moment though, Clay, we we like walked
- 50:42Speaker 1: down these stairs that are super steep and we look out, like,
- 50:44Speaker 1: look at this view. Why would you want to leave? Yeah,
- 50:48Speaker 1: they had gardens, dudes hanging out just playing cards.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Why they say they shut it down.
- 50:53Speaker 1: They yeah, deteriorating. But there was something else. Someone brought
- 50:57Speaker 1: up something about like something was going on the way
- 50:59Speaker 1: they were tree, like they left a guy in solitary
- 51:01Speaker 1: confinement for too long or crazy?
- 51:05Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, pitch big.
- 51:11Speaker 1: It was interesting. It was Yeah, it's badass. I have
- 51:15Speaker 1: you've seen The Rock with Sean Connery.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Yeah, what a movie?
- 51:18Speaker 1: You think about those little green balls?
- 51:21Speaker 2: Dude?
- 51:21Speaker 1: That that's how I want to view my Alcatraz, not
- 51:24Speaker 1: the way thirty four year old Taylor did, Like, oh,
- 51:26Speaker 1: this is just a hangout place.
- 51:28Speaker 3: And how many people did a hold at the time,
- 51:31Speaker 3: how many inmates could.
- 51:32Speaker 1: I was kind of small, That's what I'm saying.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, because it was like the notorious of notorious, right, yeah, killers.
- 51:40Speaker 1: I mean but that that that wasn't tax fraug al Capone.
- 51:45Speaker 1: It was was like a top mafia guy in Chicago
- 51:48Speaker 1: and they couldn't peg him for anything, but they got
- 51:50Speaker 1: him for tax fraud and that's why they sent him
- 51:51Speaker 1: to Alcatraz.
- 51:54Speaker 3: He was a killer.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Alcatraz was like what do they call it, maximum security
- 51:58Speaker 1: plus or like whatever. It was like this was like
- 52:00Speaker 1: the top of the top, the worst of the worst.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Now there's like thirty we have like thirty prisons like
- 52:04Speaker 1: that now, Yeah, all over the place because you finished
- 52:06Speaker 1: the tour to have this big screen that like shows
- 52:09Speaker 1: through different areas that have like maximum security place. Yeah,
- 52:12Speaker 1: and it talks about how like these ones are way
- 52:14Speaker 1: more intense than Alcatraz ever was. And that's where I
- 52:16Speaker 1: was like, fuck, man, I want my all my Alcatraz
- 52:19Speaker 1: to be scary.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Think about it.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I mean prisons.
- 52:22Speaker 3: Now, these cats can make knives out of a plastic fork.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Those little those little balls. Man, how scared were you
- 52:27Speaker 1: when you're watching that the first time?
- 52:29Speaker 3: You don't remember the movie, but you didn't watch that,
- 52:33Speaker 3: Watch it, watch those balls.
- 52:37Speaker 1: That's a great film. That's a great film.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Cage too, Yeah, yeah, photo faced Sean Connery.
- 52:45Speaker 1: But yeah, Alcatraz reripped? What else did we do?

- 55:06Speaker 1: Yeah, man, damn you know the season tasted the off
- 55:09Speaker 1: season provided by Jim b Man. Park goes out to
- 55:14Speaker 1: the New England Patriots. Drake made but mostly more than anybody.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Mike Rabel sat down with the Boys at six am
- 55:20Speaker 1: on Tuesday, talked about cut off half lever of six
- 55:24Speaker 1: just maybe the best SoundBite we've ever had a busting
- 55:26Speaker 1: with the boys in rare prime.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Mike Rabel form, like his personality got.
- 55:32Speaker 4: You got him to loosen up a bit, not that
- 55:35Speaker 4: he's overly tight, but he's a coach now, you know,
- 55:37Speaker 4: you can't can't act the same.
- 55:38Speaker 3: It was.
- 55:39Speaker 4: It was a good interview with damn know he does.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Though, but even also even followed up talking about being
- 55:44Speaker 2: proud of us and like sending us a clip like
- 55:46Speaker 2: this the most authentic.
- 55:47Speaker 1: The most authentic version of us that it just feels like.
- 55:51Speaker 2: It's fully just developed over the last decade of knowing
- 55:54Speaker 2: the last several years.
- 55:55Speaker 1: And then like like having like a moment of reflection
- 55:57Speaker 1: in this hotel room. Yeah, thinking about the friendship, she said,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and took the time to.
- 56:01Speaker 4: Text us, Yeah, well, I obviously that's awesome for you guys,
- 56:04Speaker 4: But I think that also lends to the fact of what,
- 56:06Speaker 4: fact of why he's such a great coach to Yeah,
- 56:09Speaker 4: I don't really know him all that well, we've played
- 56:12Speaker 4: around the same time. But just here in the relationship
- 56:16Speaker 4: that he has with you guys and the way he
- 56:19Speaker 4: talks to the media, like it just he feels like
- 56:21Speaker 4: he's just present, he's there, like he's a great leader
- 56:23Speaker 4: of man and honestly, like you know, looking in hindsight,
- 56:27Speaker 4: because we talked about Seattle's roster like New England's, I
- 56:31Speaker 4: think they kind of overachieved this. Oh whoa absolutely and
- 56:34Speaker 4: like you know, you look at Drake May only being
- 56:38Speaker 4: in year two.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Maybe what they say on the broadcast like thirty first
- 56:41Speaker 2: year players, but it just felt like thirty first year
- 56:47Speaker 2: of thirty something.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Because yeah, they're also top five in cap space as well.
- 56:51Speaker 4: Right, they're gonna need some I mean you talk about
- 56:54Speaker 4: Campbell like, are we are we are the Patriots going
- 56:56Speaker 4: to keep him out there left tackle? Do you move
- 56:58Speaker 4: him in?
- 56:58Speaker 1: Do you have some help?
- 56:59Speaker 4: You might need another wide receiver defensively, I mean, you know,
- 57:04Speaker 4: like I just think there's a lot of holes there. Yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 4: I think they're probably still the front runner and the AFC,
- 57:14Speaker 4: you really think the East, Yeah.
- 57:16Speaker 1: But you got the Bills man. But Joe Brady head coach.
- 57:19Speaker 2: Now they're going seventeen and four super Bowl runner up
- 57:23Speaker 2: first year after two years of three and fourteen. Oh yeah,
- 57:27Speaker 2: three or four and thirteen, four and four, whatever the
- 57:30Speaker 2: whatever it is, whatever it is, they won four games
- 57:32Speaker 2: the previews.
- 57:33Speaker 1: So you're right, like, Will Cambell, do you keep him
- 57:35Speaker 1: in the left to get a tackle in there? But also, dude,
- 57:37Speaker 1: think about your rookie season and hitting the rookie wall
- 57:39Speaker 1: in like mid to late November. I agree, gonna keep
- 57:42Speaker 1: playing over and you played look like three top five
- 57:44Speaker 1: defenses the number six like as much criticism as he's done,
- 57:48Speaker 1: and he deserves some of the criticism. The kid, I mean,
- 57:51Speaker 1: he played what twenty games. He's going to be a
- 57:54Speaker 1: stud He's gonna be a stud man.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Yeah. And when I felt worse the worst for him
- 57:59Speaker 2: is that false art when he was kind of rocking, yeah,
- 58:01Speaker 2: and then the incomes and still bulls and pushes him
- 58:04Speaker 2: on his back of the.
- 58:05Speaker 1: We've all been there.
- 58:06Speaker 2: Man.
- 58:07Speaker 1: It's a terrible feeling, a terrible feeling. But yeah, pouring
- 58:11Speaker 1: out for the new.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Optimism he got ain't easy to go back though, you know,
- 58:17Speaker 2: like you.
- 58:17Speaker 4: Said, you can get, you can win, like uh Dan
- 58:20Speaker 4: Campbell when they lost the NMC championship game a few
- 58:23Speaker 4: years ago and our only chance.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Yeah, they've been back since. I'll tell you what. You
- 58:28Speaker 1: a sleeper in the a f C. You brought him
- 58:30Speaker 1: up earlier in this podcast. Tennessee Titans sleepers.
- 58:35Speaker 4: Just get to like six seven wins. I I really
- 58:39Speaker 4: like their coaching staff. I love great coach they bring in.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Outside of solid there was another obviously able Yeah, sorry.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Gus Bradley's their d C. Gus Bradley.
- 58:51Speaker 4: They made all the right moves this off season. Find
- 58:54Speaker 4: out if Cam Wore is that guy.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Kim that guy that guy around.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Can we get somebody to help him.
- 59:00Speaker 1: The offensive line to play better because you have the
- 59:02Speaker 1: talent on their picks Like this year with the fourth overall.
- 59:05Speaker 4: Pick trade back for two ones, were thinking here, yeah,
- 59:08Speaker 4: put your GM cap on.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I think it just depends on number one.
- 59:12Speaker 4: Yeah, number will we look like probably bring Kenneth Walker.
- 59:18Speaker 3: One fourth pick and.
- 59:21Speaker 4: Bring Derrick Henry.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Smith.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Yeah wait, we got five to five round picks.
- 59:30Speaker 4: Rams got to first round picks with that trade to
- 59:33Speaker 4: Atlanta was.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Its Rams have two first rounds. They trade that they'll
- 59:39Speaker 1: get a nice player to the.
- 59:43Speaker 4: Good check out check out the Rams real quick.
- 59:45Speaker 3: I want to see eight players should help. We should
- 59:48Speaker 3: be able to get some some good out of eight.
- 59:51Speaker 4: Are they going to contribute? Though?
- 59:53Speaker 3: We'll see how this We'll see how does GM do
- 59:55Speaker 3: it do this year? On picking guys who can actually
- 59:58Speaker 3: play and chiefs?
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: How the Packers gonna do?
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: Bro?
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Did you see Michael Parsons and Miles Garrett sitting down
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: doing like a Miles Garrett bottying Michael Parsons Bro, Miles
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Garrett was cooking?
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: Yeah, well, first off with I'll answer your question, but
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: what would would they cook them?
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: And they were, I mean, they're obviously having like a
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: answer and forth, and Miles Garrett was just on his
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: a game with comebacks to the defensive player of the years?
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: How long it took you? Like it's supposed to be
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: us in the Super Bowl this year? And Miles Garrett, man,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: we wasn't healthy. You were fully healthy when we beat you.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: He was just giving it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Back to Bro killing him. I mean, listen, been like
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: hey y'all and he's like, y'all, like I'm more than one.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: That's what he was saying.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: He didn't say one of one. But like that the
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: way the way the clips were going, it seemed like
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Mica up was trying to press Miles be like, I'm
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the best defensive end.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: He said, your light is dimming. He's just because your
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: light is getting and whatsoever.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that, by the way, it is a bar.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: I think I think Miles Garrett is a better pass rusher.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: I think Micah Parson is a better athlete and probably
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: a like a more impactful Do you think so, yes,
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: because you think more impactful. That's that's one of the
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: craziest things you've said as a as a pass rusher,
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: Like you just you're you're to one side of the field.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: You look at Miles Garrett. He got twenty three sacks. Incredible,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: Like you know, it's.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Gonna be a shitty team who is always losing.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I'm not diminishing what he did.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: It's okay, I'm not.
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is like he's on one side,
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: like Mike is moving all around. You know, as far
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: as production, I want twenty three sacks over eleven or
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: whatever Micah finished with might have had like fourteen fifteen,
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: But like the fact you can move and move around
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: make him a spinner. I think it helps everybody else
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: around there, not just the DBS from a sack pressure
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: standpoint at all.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Don't he always go against the left tackle Miles Garrett.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: No, he'll move around, he'll go and he'll go on
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: that rover set where he he'll go on the right time.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I'm just saying, like, again, twenty three sacks on the
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Browns where like every team is running the ball in
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: the second.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: I agree, I'm not dismissing that. By the third time
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Defensive Player of the Year, he's like.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Brother brought he brought those trophies in and.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: He'll break the all time Well, shoot, what's he a
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: What's what are his sacks at right now? Hes get
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: he's gotta get to one ninety nine to be the
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: number at least tie not Reggie White, Uh, nope.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Clay Matthews.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: No, I had to play for another eleven years. He's
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: got one hundred. He needs to get to one ninety
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: nine and he's in what years is eight or something?
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: That's insane. That's insane.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: And dude, I mean I get what you're saying, Like
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: I'm not taking anything away from Michael Parsons and how
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: incredible he is because he's a great player. But if
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you're looking at people to you don't want to go
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: against that's the number one first one. I do not
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: want to go against the.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: One Bruce Smith one ninety nine? Is it two hundred
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: and somebody has one ninety nine? Right, okay? And then
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: it drops off to I think Evan Green and Julius
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Peppers are tied at like one sixty one, might not
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: get closed like the drop off like top five. Then
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: you just you hope to crack a hundred and if
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: you get to one hundred.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: You're like, that made you get her in twenty five already?
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: No, I uh wow, regular season a ninety one and
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: a half postseason, I got eleven, So.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: You got a hundred sacks?
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: Yes, I did.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I like the counter like in your career you got
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: you cliped.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: But like a lot of times, like for instance, if
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: they're gonna say Bruce Smith or Julius Peppers have X
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: amount of sacks, they will not count postseason at all.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: But how do we count?
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: But now with the new era, you'll see like including
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: the playoffs, they'll they'll use it just to say.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: They used to but now we add two more games though.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Playoff, So how it doesn't matter. Back in the day,
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: they used to have fifteen games before they went to sixteen.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: So like Wolf for ever be beaten, you know today's
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: generation will be beating.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Uh playoffs in the record seventeen because he was there
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: for what three games?
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: It's a game, there's no bigger But why is why
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: is the MVP voted on at the end of the
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: regular season. Then they got it right this year based
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: on what happened in the postseason. But like if they
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: would have watched that run right by Stafford, I feel.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Like that was.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Quarterback.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: What's happening right now? But that was huge?
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: No quarterback, no, no quarterback should have got it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: We should have got it done Pooka but he didn't.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Went Offensive Player of the Year.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: I mean he should have got it.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Then, all right, that's all the time we have today.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: I don't think Save should have got it.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: You don't think Saver should got the n v P.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Hey, hey, Delenny, what that's the craziest thing you've ever
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: said on.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: This Let him elaborate.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: You know, it's just because you you're throwing too You're
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: throwing a screen of Pooka. He turning into eighty yards.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: You throw him a two yards slang turning into.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: Shot to Sydney swingy too.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: So I mean he's have we make good.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: By doing all the work and they get the accolades
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: when he was really the key factor.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: If they didn't have Pookah, wouldn't we make him look good.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: I'm a skill player.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: You ain't no pooking the cool.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: I was pooking the core for the Titans.
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: Yes, I was sixteen.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I was a different position playing tight end.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: Yeah you look, you said even a higbee and you
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: have all these people who did they knew we don't
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: even have to cover these guys cover eighty caber eighty
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: two and still getting Have.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: You seen have you seen the comments in the locker room?
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: And you might not be Pooka, but you were the
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: champion this year on the lot, I am the champ,
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: A champ, I don't.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I think people were failing to understand
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: zooming out your comeback the best comeback, one of the
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: greatest comebacks you've seen in the history of sports.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: History of gambling, for sure.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Last place to what week like make a bad last place?
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean y'all be mathematically eliminated close to like.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Taylor was doing his thing, and I just remember in
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: my head like I'm laughing with it and also thinking like, yeah.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: It's a bad he's he's out of it and I'm
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: sitting there like or he's had a.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Terrible year, terrible years because you have what the thirteenth
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: number thirteen gambler in Nashville.
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and his name is Delaney Walker.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Took the spot.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: It's like, so yeah, come on, hey, locker room, next
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: year's gonna be awesome.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I mean, as we're switch it up, we'll do units,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: we'll do a whole, we'll do we'll do a big uns.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: It's really about to be over ye.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Especially when you start doing crazy lines.
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: I can't what what what's part of it?
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: It's part of it.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: No, No, we're gonna pick we not, We're gonna let
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: clump pick the game.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Still it's unions, it's units, units, whatever. You take a
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: big time favorite go money line, like and you win
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: a few bucks, that's tacking onto your unit. Whoever's got
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: the unit.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: The biggest unit, the biggest unit.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: It's like when you put a bet and it says
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: ten dollars to win whatever, so we'll know we'll just track.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: We'll need FANDLE to track, help us track everything.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: It'll be difficult though, because some of the bets we
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: do on the locker room, we also do more bets
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: outside of the locker room as well. Whatever your car
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: dam yeah, okay, okay.
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: All right, you can change that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: We can edit the car.
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: It's only got six months to get it right.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh yeah, that's a verbal commit. That's a verbal
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: commit right there. Clean a man of his word too,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: that's the thing like this n I L thing that
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: goes on with commit to not commit Like Clay would
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: never do that. He's a real mayor.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: You hear holdouts too. You know what I'm saying, I'm
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: in my I'm in the you guys are franchising me,
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: so I can we hold services until you You know
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: what I'm saying, I want that.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: We're putting the franchise tag on you, so now we
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: can negotiate with.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: And then you have a little pressure. I can withhold
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: my services.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Yeah, claim Matthews. Finally a loopole. Hey, that's all we
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: got for the weekend, guys. Big hugs, thank hey, big
