  Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. And as always, I invite

  Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. You know,

  Speaker 1: I heard that praise will steal the hand of the enemy.

  Speaker 1: It'll stop him in his tracks. When we praise God,
• 0:15
  Speaker 1: no matter what's going on in our lives, he gets confused.

  Speaker 1: So Father God, in the mighty, matchless, and powerful name
• 0:22
  Speaker 1: of Jesus, today we come before you with a praise
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: that has nothing to do with our circumstances. God, we're
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: going to give you a praise in spite of, in
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: spite of what we're facing, in spite of what we're feeling,
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: in spite of what we see, in spite of what
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: we don't understand. Lord, you are worthy of our praise.

  Speaker 1: Your word says in Habakkuk 3, 17 through 18, though
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: the fig tree does not bud and there are no
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: grapes on the vine, yet I will rejoice in the Lord.

  Speaker 1: I will be joyful in God, my Savior. Father, that's
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: the kind of praise we're bringing you today. We praise
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: you in spite of the diagnosis, in spite of the disappointment,
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: in spite of the financial struggle, in spite of the
• 1:02
  Speaker 1: closed doors. In spite of the unanswered prayer, in spite
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: of the betrayal, in spite of the heartbreak, in spite
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: of what our family may be going through, in spite
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: of what we may have lost, in spite of what
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: hasn't changed yet. All because our praise is not based
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: on what's happening around us. Our praise is based on
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: who you are. Lord, the enemy may have expected us
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: to break, but we're still standing. He may have expected
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: us to become bitter, but we're choosing to forgive. He
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: may have expected us to stop believing, but we're still
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: trusting in you. He may have expected us to give up,
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: but God, we're still praying. He may have expected us
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: to lose our joy, but we're going to praise you anyway. Oh, Father,
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: let our praise rise in the middle of the storm.

  Speaker 1: We'll praise you, God, while we're waiting. We'll praise you
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: while we're being healed. We'll praise you, God, while we're rebuilding. Oh, God,

  Speaker 1: we will praise you before we see the breakthrough. Because

  Speaker 1: sometimes the greatest declaration of faith is saying, God, I

  Speaker 1: don't understand, but I still trust you. So, Lord, we

  Speaker 1: don't need everything to be perfect to give you glory.

  Speaker 1: We can praise you with tears in our eyes. We

  Speaker 1: can praise you with questions in our heart. We can

  Speaker 1: praise you while we still are waiting for answers. Oh, God,

  Speaker 1: we can praise you because you kept us. And, God,
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: we thank you that we're not broken. You protected us
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: all through danger, seen and unseen. You made a way
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: when we couldn't see a way. You gave us strength
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: when we wanted to quit. And, Lord, we thank you
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: that if you never do another thing, God, you've already
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: been better to us than we deserve. So today, God,
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: we bless you. We lift our hands. We open our mouths. And, God,
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: we tell you thank you. Thank you, God. We praise you, God,
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: in spite of. And Lord, let our praise become a weapon,
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: not a weapon against people, but a declaration that circumstances
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: don't control our worship. When we praise you in the
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: middle of storms, God, we're reminding ourselves that everything around
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: us is still in your control. So let the enemy
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: hear our praise. Oh, God, let doubt hear our praise.
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: Let fear hear our praise. Let disappointment hear our praise. God,
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: we're still here. We're still trusting, we're still believing, and
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: we're still going to praise you. Father, turn our mourning
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: into dancing, our sorrow into joy. And God, our test
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: into a testimony in your perfect timing. God, we won't
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: wait until everything changes. We're going to praise you right now. God,
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: we're going to praise you for who you are and
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: because of whose we are in Jesus' name. Amen, amen,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: and amen.
