- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us on air with a
- 0:06Speaker 2: Ryan Secret Kiss. Pay the bills. This is the month, well,
- 0:11Speaker 2: every month is the month to get your bill paid.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Nothing about it, even the font, just the font of
- 0:16Speaker 2: a bill and an invoice. I like the I don't
- 0:18Speaker 2: like invoice font. You don't have to read it, and
- 0:20Speaker 2: you know it's bad news. But we're here with good news.
- 0:23Speaker 2: One thousand dollars to pay your bills every single day.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Good morning, good morning, Ryan, morning, Tanya, good morning, good morning.
- 0:31Speaker 2: In turns Sophia, good morning. Into the back room. Hi, guys,
- 0:34Speaker 2: how are you? Good morning? Oh my gosh, I'm looking
- 0:37Speaker 2: at me surrounded by wisdom. The gang's all here. I
- 0:40Speaker 2: am surrounded by wisdom. I can't wait to pry into
- 0:42Speaker 2: all of your lives and just hear. I just love it.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I love it. So if I want to know about
- 0:47Speaker 2: something with the dude you're dating, Mikayla, I want to hear,
- 0:50Speaker 2: or are you dating a dude? Are you looking forward
- 0:52Speaker 2: to Valentine's Day or dreading it? I'm not leaning into
- 0:55Speaker 2: Valentine's Day this year. There have been years when I
- 0:58Speaker 2: have gotten so excited about Valentine's Day. This is not
- 1:02Speaker 2: one of them. So anyway, that's kind of that's the
- 1:06Speaker 2: frame of mind we're going to take on this Tuesday,
- 1:08Speaker 2: January twenty seventh. That month went by fast, it really
- 1:13Speaker 2: did we have for you a second date update today,
- 1:18Speaker 2: speaking of Valentine's Day, Speaking of dating, they met on Hinge.
- 1:22Speaker 2: They soon discovered they had met at a party years before.
- 1:26Speaker 2: But this is a second date update, which means the
- 1:28Speaker 2: happily ever after has ended. Sopha, are you still happily
- 1:33Speaker 2: with this guy skeletor are you still in the gray area?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Still in the gray area. It's been a month of
- 1:39Speaker 2: the gray area. You need to get out of it.
- 1:40Speaker 2: More than that, it's been like two months. Yeah, that's
- 1:43Speaker 2: too long. He's I don't like it because he's he's
- 1:46Speaker 2: having his cake and eating it too. So they met
- 1:48Speaker 2: on Halloween.
- 1:48Speaker 3: November would have been an okay month of being the
- 1:51Speaker 3: great area. They met on Halloween, they did we know that,
- 1:57Speaker 3: So I say, like November, no conversation of what we
- 1:59Speaker 3: are off. But then December you would have wanted to
- 2:01Speaker 3: get out of the gray area. And now obviously all
- 2:03Speaker 3: of January.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I've lived all of these lives. You guys
- 2:07Speaker 2: have I've lived them, so I know that this is
- 2:10Speaker 2: too long now. He's just happy that you haven't pushed it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: That's my take on this. That's not for now. Oh
- 2:17Speaker 2: my god, you went there. Yeah, well that's it. He's
- 2:21Speaker 2: not going to be happy. Cciy. I've lived this. I've
- 2:24Speaker 2: lived as skeletor for Halloween. I don't know. He's just
- 2:28Speaker 2: not going to bring it up because he doesn't want
- 2:30Speaker 2: to bring it up, all right. Anyway, that's seven twenty.
- 2:33Speaker 2: The second dating thing, this is kiss How about you
- 2:35Speaker 2: guys hanging out with Harry Styles? Oh my gosh show
- 2:39Speaker 2: there's a vibe to that in there, so good aperture,
- 2:42Speaker 2: mister Styles. On one of two point seven. It is
- 2:45Speaker 2: Kiss FM. So when you leave or lose your phone,
- 2:51Speaker 2: can you breathe? Can you survive? Now? If you cannot,
- 2:55Speaker 2: then we need to discuss the problem. Ciny, this happened
- 2:58Speaker 2: to you.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And I'm really ashamed that I couldn't survive. Essentially, yesterday,
- 3:06Speaker 3: I left the station kind of late and it was
- 3:10Speaker 3: about five o'clock and so I'm like done, I'm like
- 3:13Speaker 3: I'm getting home, and that's when I realized that I
- 3:16Speaker 3: don't have my phone and so I go, oh, I
- 3:20Speaker 3: can get all my messages on my laptop, every text
- 3:23Speaker 3: message I can get on my I messages.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Here's the thing in that moment, there's two things. Number One,
- 3:29Speaker 2: I would have a problem not knowing if it was
- 3:32Speaker 2: lost or not. Did you know it was at the station?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Did somebody find it? I knew. I knew exactly where
- 3:36Speaker 2: it was.
- 3:37Speaker 3: It was on my charging pad, on my desk, in
- 3:39Speaker 3: my owniness.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Now it's a blessing. Now it is a blessing. Now
- 3:42Speaker 2: that you know where it is. You don't have it,
- 3:43Speaker 2: it is a blessing. You have every excuse not to
- 3:45Speaker 2: be on it and use it. And you could just
- 3:47Speaker 2: send an email to anybody here Mark saying hey, guys,
- 3:50Speaker 2: don't on my phone, talk to you tomorrow. Good night.
- 3:52Speaker 3: No, I should have and I didn't. I turned right around.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I in thirty minutes back to Burbank and rushed hour.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Like one of the gurus, one of the guru said,
- 4:00Speaker 2: I spend time with one of these gurus has has
- 4:02Speaker 2: said to me, Hey, when those things happen, it's it's
- 4:06Speaker 2: meant to be that, like you're you are needed to
- 4:08Speaker 2: focus on something else. I don't spend time with gurus.
- 4:11Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, like it seems like a guru
- 4:13Speaker 2: thing that if that happens, then the world the universe
- 4:16Speaker 2: to plant something is requiring your attention, so don't fight it.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And like, I really didn't even need it, by the way,
- 4:22Speaker 2: no one called me. I did not.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I did not need it at all, and I went
- 4:26Speaker 3: to bed four hours later. So it was just a waste.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And I lock mine away.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I have.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I have that little cubby hole that we put it
- 4:32Speaker 2: away for certain dinners and meals, and when I am
- 4:35Speaker 2: traveling many times I will luck it away. And I'm
- 4:39Speaker 2: here advocating that when you are not a quick response person,
- 4:42Speaker 2: and I've been a quick response person all my life,
- 4:45Speaker 2: when you are not, it's so cool. It's so cool
- 4:48Speaker 2: these days when you're not a quick response person.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Not for you, you don't think it's cool.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I do. I want to be a non response person.
- 4:57Speaker 2: But for us to you term you text me about something,
- 5:02Speaker 2: I don't hit you back. You look laid back. I questioned, Mark,
- 5:09Speaker 2: question Mark kiss Justin Bieber and you can something that
- 5:13Speaker 2: came up people were up in arms about, Sofia said
- 5:16Speaker 2: her roommate. Friend of hers wanted to wear a very
- 5:19Speaker 2: cool birthday outfit with the tags on, and then after
- 5:23Speaker 2: the birthday return it with the tags on. Yeah, now,
- 5:27Speaker 2: the intention is not good. However, Let's say that she
- 5:32Speaker 2: wasn't quite sure if it fit well, and she wanted
- 5:34Speaker 2: to take it for a test drive, hoping it would
- 5:36Speaker 2: work out. But then the next day she realized, you
- 5:39Speaker 2: know what really doesn't fit is that? Okay, oh, fair question.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I'm here for that, like a test, like a real
- 5:44Speaker 2: test drive that.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Like she wore it out and then she was like,
- 5:46Speaker 3: you know what, I don't like it. I don't want
- 5:48Speaker 3: to keep it for life.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Now she did not fit. She was actually trying to
- 5:52Speaker 2: scam it and give it back. Ruby then called out
- 5:56Speaker 2: e J and said, EJ does that all the time
- 5:58Speaker 2: at Zara at Zara, and Randy heard it in Southgate.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It is interesting. I mean I have brought I don't
- 6:10Speaker 2: like to try on anything, so I've brought things home
- 6:12Speaker 2: and put it on and it doesn't really work, and
- 6:15Speaker 2: then I'll take it back. But I have put it on,
- 6:18Speaker 2: I've tried it out. Santa went out into the wild
- 6:22Speaker 2: with it. Okay, Randy, your wife owns a clothing store
- 6:27Speaker 2: and she has a hard rule right about this.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Yes, Ryan, I'm so glad you bring this up because
- 6:34Speaker 5: this is really reached epidemic levels at this point, and
- 6:39Speaker 5: we've all become too custom like too comfortable with the
- 6:43Speaker 5: Amazon's basically no questions to ask return policies, but especially
- 6:48Speaker 5: when it comes to women's clothing. Ryan, my wife is
- 6:51Speaker 5: doing with at least one nightmare return complaint issue a
- 6:56Speaker 5: month during the holidays, as you expect it really, am
- 7:00Speaker 5: sub It's almost but we're dealing with issues of bidiod
- 7:05Speaker 5: er perfume. It gets worse than that. It gets worse
- 7:09Speaker 5: than that. And Ryan, I know you you have kind
- 7:11Speaker 5: of a dark sense of humor like me, so I
- 7:13Speaker 5: can get more descriptive if you want.
- 7:16Speaker 1: No.
- 7:16Speaker 2: No, I understand, I understand, I understand. H Yes, I
- 7:20Speaker 2: don't know if my sense of your is dark, but
- 7:21Speaker 2: I understand anatomy and the way the body works. Okay,
- 7:25Speaker 2: So you're you're saying that that Amazon essentially has moved
- 7:29Speaker 2: the chains here and created there's no questions asked culture
- 7:33Speaker 2: when it comes to returns.
- 7:36Speaker 5: And that's my personal opinion and why I think that
- 7:38Speaker 5: is because the attitudes that these people.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Come in with, like the arrogance, how could you not
- 7:43Speaker 2: take this back?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:45Speaker 5: And the one, the one quote we really detest is
- 7:49Speaker 5: but you're a small business owner. Can't you be in
- 7:52Speaker 5: the rules.
- 7:53Speaker 2: We're a small business owner. We need to sell this garment. Yes,
- 7:58Speaker 2: since you are a small business owner. What is the
- 8:00Speaker 2: name of your wife's story and where is it? Let's
- 8:02Speaker 2: give it a quick shout.
- 8:04Speaker 5: No, I can't, I can't the retribution, Ryan, Today we
- 8:10Speaker 5: get negative reviews. We'll get three or four negative reviews
- 8:14Speaker 5: just because we deny somebody for returning something that was
- 8:16Speaker 5: clearly worn in.
- 8:17Speaker 2: The soiled understood, he understood in the sandbox. I got you,
- 8:22Speaker 2: all right, Randy, Well, thank you for calling. We appreciate that.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And good luck with your wife's business. You take good care.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. Now you know only that dark sense
- 8:29Speaker 2: of human I understand what he's talking. I've never even
- 8:32Speaker 2: like thought about what type of humor. You are obviously clever. Okay,
- 8:39Speaker 2: So now in just a second here, what we're gonna
- 8:41Speaker 2: do is people with first names to start with this
- 8:44Speaker 2: letter are seen as powerful people, more powerful than others.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Let me, I just was reading this. Let me get
- 8:50Speaker 2: your thoughts on it. On two point seven kiss FM.
- 8:53Speaker 2: All right, So, expert, spiritualist, numerologist. They believe that our
- 9:01Speaker 2: names hold significant meaning. Yeah, you think about when someone
- 9:05Speaker 2: is a certain name, you think they might have certain
- 9:07Speaker 2: traits that happens sometimes. But basically they're saying that this
- 9:11Speaker 2: is our destiny. They say that if your name begins
- 9:13Speaker 2: with one of these letters, people see you as more powerful, energetic,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and grounded. Okay, if your name begins with an H.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Do we have any h's here? Who do we have? No,
- 9:25Speaker 2: we don't have any h's. Okay, do we have any
- 9:27Speaker 2: cues here? Any qu's any q's q's no, c's all right?
- 9:32Speaker 2: And do we have any z's any z's No z's
- 9:34Speaker 2: all right? Strike strikes strike. So if you're having a baby,
- 9:37Speaker 2: consider Harper Quincy or Zoe just Zoey. Today's quote for
- 9:46Speaker 2: things to change, think about this in your life. For
- 9:50Speaker 2: things to change, you have to change. For things to
- 9:54Speaker 2: get better, you have to get better. And now it
- 9:59Speaker 2: could go either way. That seems like a lot of work,
- 10:00Speaker 2: but I get it. If you do it, it might
- 10:03Speaker 2: pan out. If you're feeling complacent stagnant, maybe that's something
- 10:08Speaker 2: you should try just to set the tone for the day.
- 10:11Speaker 2: One of two point seven Kiss FM Good Morning headline.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Kiss FM Headlines with siciny Well.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Exposition Park is set to get nearly one hundred million
- 10:21Speaker 3: dollars in upgrades as it gears up for the World
- 10:24Speaker 3: Cup and the twenty twenty eight Olympics. Students at Palisades
- 10:28Speaker 3: Charter High School are returning to their main campus today
- 10:32Speaker 3: after nine months attending classes in an old Seers building
- 10:36Speaker 3: while fire damage was repaired. Southwest Airlines ended its open
- 10:40Speaker 3: seating policy, switching to assigned seating for all passengers starting today,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and Caltrans installed IVY on the walls along the one
- 10:49Speaker 3: oh one through downtown LA, hoping to stop graffiti. Well
- 10:53Speaker 3: eight hours later, the IVY itself was covered in graffiti
- 10:57Speaker 3: You're on one of.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Two point seven. It's kiss FMO. When you fail, it's
- 11:01Speaker 2: difficult sometimes to be vulnerable about the failure. It hurts,
- 11:05Speaker 2: like when you don't get it you strike out. It
- 11:09Speaker 2: hurts and he become self conscious. But I think there
- 11:12Speaker 2: is a lot to be gained if you can do
- 11:14Speaker 2: it by being vulnerable. And that's why the story that
- 11:17Speaker 2: Tany was telling us a few minutes ago is a
- 11:20Speaker 2: great story. It has to do with two artists that
- 11:23Speaker 2: you may have heard of or not Nick Jonas and
- 11:25Speaker 2: JP Sacks? So what happened? Tanya?
- 11:28Speaker 6: So in case you need a little refreshing this, this
- 11:30Speaker 6: is JP Sacks.
- 11:32Speaker 1: If you come hover right, you come on?
- 11:36Speaker 2: You love this? Okay? Yeah?
- 11:39Speaker 6: So he is a Grammy nominated artist and he posted
- 11:42Speaker 6: a very vulnerable video this was last summer, basically saying
- 11:45Speaker 6: begging his fan, saying, I need to sell roughly twenty
- 11:48Speaker 6: thousand more tickets in forty eight hours to avoid canceling
- 11:51Speaker 6: my tour. He in fact did not hit that number,
- 11:54Speaker 6: so he did have to end up canceling his tour.
- 11:57Speaker 6: But because of this video that he made, he got
- 11:59Speaker 6: a lot of praise from other artists saying that they've
- 12:02Speaker 6: been there and they've had these experiences, but everybody's.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Too afraid or too prideful to share that.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Everybody just wants to share their successes and post their
- 12:10Speaker 6: highlight reels. And so Nick Jonas during this these Sunday
- 12:15Speaker 6: sessions for his new album, he was talking about how
- 12:18Speaker 6: he reached out to JP after he saw that video.
- 12:19Speaker 6: He invited him to come out and perform with the
- 12:21Speaker 6: Jonas Brothers when they were on tour, and then that
- 12:23Speaker 6: led to JP working on Nick's solo album Sunday Best
- 12:27Speaker 6: with him and they wrote they did some songs together,
- 12:29Speaker 6: and I just thought it was a really beautiful story
- 12:31Speaker 6: about you know, that probably took a lot of courage,
- 12:35Speaker 6: and he was probably embarrassed to post that video and
- 12:38Speaker 6: it turned into some of these amazing career opportunities that
- 12:42Speaker 6: I don't think he would have had had he not
- 12:44Speaker 6: shared that.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Well, you think about tours have been canceled in the past,
- 12:48Speaker 2: and there usually is a positive line about scheduling. I
- 12:53Speaker 2: mean that's a positive, but there's usually some sort of
- 12:55Speaker 2: an excuse, correct about scheduling or the demand of this guy. Yes,
- 13:01Speaker 2: when an artist cancels, but if you're really thinking about it,
- 13:04Speaker 2: no one's canceling a tour unless they're super, super sick
- 13:07Speaker 2: or it just doesn't sell, correct, It's just too much
- 13:10Speaker 2: at stake. But I do think this is a good
- 13:12Speaker 2: lesson in vulnerability. If I'm thinking back to my life,
- 13:16Speaker 2: I guess I probably have failed most in relationships, Like,
- 13:22Speaker 2: if I'm being honest, I probably didn't understand how to
- 13:26Speaker 2: communicate in relationships in the past, and that's my shortfall
- 13:31Speaker 2: the most. And I think that over with each relationship
- 13:35Speaker 2: I understand it a little bit better, but have a
- 13:38Speaker 2: long way to go, which is ironic because all we
- 13:40Speaker 2: do is communicate for a living.
- 13:42Speaker 6: It is something to ponder for you.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yes, yes, what is it? Well, I've given you signed
- 13:48Speaker 2: a ponder you one of two point seven kiss FM
- 13:53Speaker 2: Seacrestier second date update, Dear all of us, We met
- 13:56Speaker 2: on Hinge and realized we had actually met before to
- 13:59Speaker 2: party years ago. That seems like a good start, right
- 14:03Speaker 2: you already kind of know there was something there. They
- 14:05Speaker 2: go on three dates and the last one ended with
- 14:09Speaker 2: a sleepover. And now she's not responding. I mean, who
- 14:13Speaker 2: wants this one?
- 14:16Speaker 4: Like?
- 14:16Speaker 2: It doesn't I don't know. It doesn't take a magician
- 14:18Speaker 2: to get to the solution. No, it might not be Well, well,
- 14:22Speaker 2: come on, if you're doing stats, odds are Kevin, good
- 14:26Speaker 2: morning and thanks for coming on with us.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Good morning, Thank you guys for having me.
- 14:30Speaker 2: So Sisney thinks it's because there was a failure on
- 14:32Speaker 2: the night. I do actually there might have been a
- 14:35Speaker 2: failure on the night or the performance in general.
- 14:40Speaker 7: I would hope.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I speaking of that story of admitting your failures, this
- 14:44Speaker 2: would be a tough one to admit, right, Kevin, for anybody.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Yeah, and I that's I'm like ninety nine point nine
- 14:52Speaker 7: percent sure. There's no way it was like a performance.
- 14:54Speaker 2: It could be like it happens. It's fine, it could be.
- 14:59Speaker 7: You're right on. I just will until that's like said
- 15:02Speaker 7: to me that, No, no, I don't want to figure
- 15:05Speaker 7: out all right.
- 15:06Speaker 2: So in your mind, what could have gone wrong? You
- 15:08Speaker 2: guys knew each other, you had a pass, you met
- 15:10Speaker 2: on hinge. That's a good sign. You go on three dates,
- 15:12Speaker 2: that's a great sign that you have this sleepover and
- 15:14Speaker 2: it's over. What happened in your mind?
- 15:17Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I's I'm trying to figure it out. I
- 15:19Speaker 7: have everything that I can imagine about. It was perfect
- 15:23Speaker 7: a night of honestly on schedule. It's like three dates.
- 15:26Speaker 7: It didn't feel too soon, didn't feel like it was perfect,
- 15:29Speaker 7: I will say immediately the next morning, her demeanor was
- 15:32Speaker 7: just different. So I'm trying to figure out, like what
- 15:34Speaker 7: did she like, didn't EX call her when I was asleep?
- 15:37Speaker 7: Did I pass gas? Did I just snored? It like
- 15:39Speaker 7: she didn't sleep at all? What happened when I went
- 15:42Speaker 7: to sleep and woke up? That changed her demeanor? Because
- 15:45Speaker 7: from what I remember, it was great like I expected a.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Fourth Okay, all right, well I'm clear on this and
- 15:50Speaker 2: she's agreed. I believe here the back room is telling
- 15:52Speaker 2: me she's agreed to come on with us, So stand by,
- 15:55Speaker 2: will get Liz is her name on the phone next
- 15:57Speaker 2: to kiss seven Kiss FM. You know, when something is
- 16:03Speaker 2: a little off, like you get rejected or someone blows
- 16:06Speaker 2: you off. I talk to myself. Do you talk to
- 16:08Speaker 2: yourself to try and figure out, like why did this happen?
- 16:12Speaker 2: What does she not like about me? Like I have
- 16:13Speaker 2: an inner dialogue about it?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:15Speaker 2: I think we all do have an inner voice. So
- 16:17Speaker 2: Kevin has that and he wants us to actually find
- 16:20Speaker 2: out for him. He knew this woman named Liz from
- 16:25Speaker 2: back in the day. They had actually met at a party.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Now cut to today these you know currently they met
- 16:31Speaker 2: on Hinge, they went out for three dates, they had
- 16:35Speaker 2: a sleepover, and after that sleepover she cut it off.
- 16:38Speaker 2: He doesn't know why. He thinks maybe he did something,
- 16:40Speaker 2: he snored or something else. We're not quite sure either,
- 16:44Speaker 2: but Kevin, Liz has agreed to come on and tell us,
- 16:45Speaker 2: So hold tight, don't say anything. We're just gonna ask
- 16:48Speaker 2: her next. All right, teagre that Okay, here we go.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Hey Liz, it's Ryan Seacrest, Sis Anditanya everybody. How are
- 16:56Speaker 2: you good? How are you good? You're on the air
- 16:59Speaker 2: with us. Okay, so we know you went out with
- 17:03Speaker 2: a guy named Kevin. You knew him from the past,
- 17:05Speaker 2: and you met on hinge and went out three dates.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Why did you decide not to go on a fourth
- 17:10Speaker 2: date with Kevin?
- 17:12Speaker 1: Oh?
- 17:12Speaker 8: Okay, okay, Well, you know dating is not easy. But
- 17:16Speaker 8: that's her run for another day.
- 17:18Speaker 4: What about him?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Actually, what about him? No, that's what I'm saying. Why
- 17:22Speaker 2: three dates and not a fourth? Yeah, something happened.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Oh, I mean it's I feel like he's not a
- 17:29Speaker 8: bad guy. But you know what, I feel like parents
- 17:32Speaker 8: are not raising young men probably actually.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Oh, tell me more.
- 17:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean he was a nice guy. We had
- 17:39Speaker 8: some dates, we stayed he stayed over. So the next
- 17:43Speaker 8: morning I get up to make us breakfast and he
- 17:46Speaker 8: lays in bed. He comes to breakfast, he eats everything
- 17:49Speaker 8: in like thirty seconds, and then he sits on the
- 17:53Speaker 8: couch scrolls while I'm doing everything cleaning up. And he
- 17:57Speaker 8: didn't offer any help.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You know, A different kind of guy. After the night.
- 18:02Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I was thinking we yow go for a
- 18:07Speaker 8: walk or something. But after seeing all of that, I
- 18:09Speaker 8: always done.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Yeah. All right, Liz, Kevin is on the line hearing this. Kevin,
- 18:14Speaker 2: you were, you had all of this charisma going in,
- 18:19Speaker 2: and then after the night you didn't things change. Do
- 18:22Speaker 2: you understand what she's telling you?
- 18:24Speaker 7: I ashamed. I'm ashamed.
- 18:27Speaker 4: I do.
- 18:29Speaker 7: Now, you're right about that. Honestly, she's on thousand percent right,
- 18:33Speaker 7: and I really feel embarrassing it. But that was really rude.
- 18:36Speaker 7: I didn't think about all of those accents, kind of
- 18:40Speaker 7: what it came across like.
- 18:42Speaker 2: So, Liz, now that you hear him say that, is
- 18:44Speaker 2: there a shot that you'd want to see him again?
- 18:47Speaker 4: No?
- 18:48Speaker 8: No, I don't think so.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Wow. All right, well, well, thank you very much every much.
- 18:54Speaker 7: Sorry for that. I didn't I didn't realize that. I'm sorry.
- 18:58Speaker 8: It's okay, but you know what I'd like, I'm all
- 19:00Speaker 8: I can think about a relationship with you. Will be
- 19:04Speaker 8: sleeping in playing video games on the couch while I'm
- 19:07Speaker 8: doing everything now I mean. And also, you left the
- 19:10Speaker 8: toilet set up.
- 19:11Speaker 2: So this is a good lesson for all of us. Awful,
- 19:15Speaker 2: but good lesson for everybody listening right now. Thank you both.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Wait hold, hold, has anyone ever made you breakfast the
- 19:24Speaker 2: night good morning after?
- 19:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Justin Bieber's on Kissing it's one of two point seven kids, JB.
- 19:41Speaker 2: We had a giggle faster in that song. All right
- 19:43Speaker 2: now listen. Breaking news next week on the show, We're
- 19:46Speaker 2: giving away trip to New York to go see Harry
- 19:49Speaker 2: Stop major, major, major tickets, flight, hotel, all of it
- 19:55Speaker 2: to details for you. Monday Morning Sublime on Kiss AM SO.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Today's teacher of the Day is Nicole Sparks. He teaches
- 20:02Speaker 2: at Del Lago Elementary School in Mission Veehile. Congratulations Nicole,
- 20:05Speaker 2: you're in the running to win five thousand dollars for
- 20:08Speaker 2: your class A. Nominate your favorite teacher kissmm dot com
- 20:11Speaker 2: sass Teachers on.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 20:20Speaker 2: One of two point seven Kiss FM. Now Sophia. Since college,
- 20:26Speaker 2: she met a guy in Halloween. They have been hanging
- 20:29Speaker 2: out quite a bit. Actually we call him Skeletor because
- 20:32Speaker 2: that's what he was dressed as, and they've been in
- 20:34Speaker 2: the gray area for about two months. I think it's
- 20:39Speaker 2: not great to exist in the gray area, but my
- 20:42Speaker 2: view is as long as you're not pushing it he's
- 20:44Speaker 2: not going to bring it up. What are the red flags,
- 20:46Speaker 2: Sisanit Tanya, we should listen to this. What are the
- 20:48Speaker 2: red flags you've seen, Sophia And are they symbolic? Are
- 20:51Speaker 2: they significant?
- 20:52Speaker 9: Okay, I've noticed that this one's kind of in the middle.
- 20:56Speaker 9: But he doesn't use any social media, Like he has
- 21:00Speaker 9: an Instagram account, but he tells me I don't have
- 21:02Speaker 9: notifications on. And he also never sees my stories or
- 21:05Speaker 9: likes my posts.
- 21:06Speaker 2: And you want him like you put these things up there, so.
- 21:08Speaker 9: He yeah, like, I'm not like sending him like the
- 21:12Speaker 9: Q photos that I take, so I post him on
- 21:14Speaker 9: Instagram so that he can hit them.
- 21:17Speaker 2: All right, well, there's questionable. Give me the others. How
- 21:19Speaker 2: many are there? There's honestly a couple.
- 21:23Speaker 9: He every time he gets a phone call, he always
- 21:25Speaker 9: kind of like hides the phone and then he's like, oh,
- 21:27Speaker 9: give you one second, and then he does takes the
- 21:29Speaker 9: phone call.
- 21:32Speaker 2: That found's weird. It might be work.
- 21:35Speaker 9: But every phone call, even if it's like a long
- 21:38Speaker 9: phone call or a short phone call, he's like, yeah,
- 21:40Speaker 9: hold on.
- 21:41Speaker 2: If it's work, that's weird. You want to show that
- 21:44Speaker 2: you're working, you know. That's like a double life.
- 21:46Speaker 6: No, not if he has a job that's discretionary.
- 21:51Speaker 2: For example, what do you mean by that? I don't know,
- 21:57Speaker 2: like like a double life kind of thing.
- 21:59Speaker 6: No, trying to be Sophia can't know.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Oh he's in the CIA. Maybe I don't know, all right?
- 22:05Speaker 2: And is there any other red flag with this guy?
- 22:07Speaker 2: So I am like the worst person at making decisions.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I'm so indecisive. And every time we're like, oh, what
- 22:13Speaker 2: should we do today? Where should we go? Where should
- 22:15Speaker 2: we eat?
- 22:16Speaker 9: And I give him options, He's like, I don't know,
- 22:18Speaker 9: you choose or you choose what do you want?
- 22:20Speaker 2: What do you want the most?
- 22:21Speaker 9: And I'm like, I got far enough to give you options.
- 22:24Speaker 9: You give me the final decision.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Land the plane?
- 22:26Speaker 1: I know.
- 22:27Speaker 9: And sometimes I want him to just like make decisive
- 22:30Speaker 9: and make the decision for me.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I think that's hot. That's hot when when anybody.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Is the bad when Michael says like, get ready, I'm
- 22:37Speaker 3: picking you up in five minutes or whatever, I'm wait, do.
- 22:42Speaker 2: You remember the Do you remember the date I went on?
- 22:44Speaker 2: This is a while ago. Now remember the date I
- 22:46Speaker 2: went on and it went well? And I said, what
- 22:47Speaker 2: are you doing for the next forty eight hours. Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 2: yeah it worked. I mean we dated for five years
- 22:53Speaker 2: from like twelve years ago. Yeah, from when I was
- 22:57Speaker 2: in college, drop out baseball, when I dropped out. So anyway,
- 23:01Speaker 2: so if you I'm just going to say this to you,
- 23:03Speaker 2: you know you got to go with your instinct. But
- 23:05Speaker 2: these can be things that are so clear when you
- 23:07Speaker 2: look back in hindsight and didn't follow through on them
- 23:11Speaker 2: being red flags. So just be careful. You get the
- 23:13Speaker 2: gray area. I don't know what he's hiding, but he
- 23:16Speaker 2: can because he's in a gray area. So if you
- 23:18Speaker 2: want to sift through this, you need to be decisive
- 23:22Speaker 2: and tell him probably that you want to be out
- 23:24Speaker 2: of the gray or you need to move on. It's time.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It's been too long time. I'm even ready for it.
- 23:31Speaker 2: I'm embarrassed now. But thank you for vulnerably talking about that, right,
- 23:35Speaker 2: I hope you're not. I actually would like him for
- 23:38Speaker 2: to listen social media and posted that he listened. There's
- 23:42Speaker 2: lights silly golding on on a two point seven. It's gonnacept.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Then I just tell you I've been fascinated. I'm always
- 23:47Speaker 2: fascinated by roadworks. I'm fascinated by wide loads like you
- 23:53Speaker 2: ever seen an airplane on the back of a truck
- 23:55Speaker 2: or something.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Like what I'm with you whenever you see that. Yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 3: it's so crazy.
- 23:58Speaker 2: And they you know, they got to shut down parts
- 24:01Speaker 2: of the freeway or take over all these lanes. If
- 24:03Speaker 2: you saw a house recently cruising up Wheelshirt, you were
- 24:07Speaker 2: not making that up. It was not for a movie.
- 24:10Speaker 2: They're doing an actual phase where they're taking historic homes
- 24:14Speaker 2: and are they relocating them syity.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's called the Historic House Relocation Project and it
- 24:20Speaker 3: takes unwanted old homes. This one was about to be
- 24:23Speaker 3: torn down. It was in West Hollywood, built in nineteen
- 24:26Speaker 3: twenty six, small house, but nice, and they relocated it
- 24:30Speaker 3: to Alta, Dina And so they actually were replacing a home.
- 24:34Speaker 2: That was lost in the Eating fire.
- 24:36Speaker 3: And I just think it's such an amazing project and
- 24:38Speaker 3: it feels like a really full circle moment for whoever's
- 24:40Speaker 3: going to be able to live in this house now.
- 24:42Speaker 2: And I think it's beautiful. I do too, and I
- 24:46Speaker 2: you know, to the extent that they can reuse those
- 24:48Speaker 2: houses tearing them down. I mean I could barely tie
- 24:52Speaker 2: a Christmas tree to the roof of my car. How
- 24:54Speaker 2: do they get a house on the back of a
- 24:56Speaker 2: truck and move it across town. And this is not
- 24:59Speaker 2: an easy that's not a easy commute. No, you're talking
- 25:02Speaker 2: about there.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Well, from what the pictures I saw that it looks
- 25:06Speaker 3: like they took the roof off, so it was like
- 25:08Speaker 3: the house to.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Get under an overpasser. A brain you're on Kiss is
- 25:14Speaker 2: Kiss FM, all right, Seacrist with him. If you're not
- 25:17Speaker 2: listening on the iHeartRadio app, it can be lucrative fortuitous.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Last week we posted on the app that anyone who
- 25:25Speaker 2: left us a talk back between nine thirty and ten
- 25:28Speaker 2: on Friday was eligible for five hundred bucks. And we're
- 25:31Speaker 2: gonna pay a bonus bill. That's what we're gonna do
- 25:32Speaker 2: right now. So this is proof of how it sort
- 25:34Speaker 2: of works. This is the talkback we have right Good
- 25:37Speaker 2: morning on air with Ryan.
- 25:39Speaker 6: This is a listener Anna from the City of Ontario,
- 25:43Speaker 6: hoping to get my bills paid.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I need to get that student loan paid a SAP.
- 25:50Speaker 2: So yes, I'm crossing my fingers. Thank you.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Have a good day.
- 25:55Speaker 4: All right.
- 25:55Speaker 2: That was the talk back. That ringing is the phone
- 25:57Speaker 2: live right now calling Anna. Hi's Anna there?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Hi?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Hi Ryan. Anna it's Ryan Seacrets, isn't it Tanya so
- 26:06Speaker 2: Fear in the back room.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Good morning, Oh my goodness, good morning.
- 26:11Speaker 6: Hi guys.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Love listening to you guys. Wait, does that sound possessed
- 26:16Speaker 2: or is it just my head?
- 26:17Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 26:18Speaker 2: Something happened. Oh my gosh, Anna, we have so many questions.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Are you there?
- 26:24Speaker 4: Oh?
- 26:25Speaker 2: Your voice just went into slow mode. Our engineer, what
- 26:28Speaker 2: does that mean? Do you sound like the movie Saw?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Like you want to play a game? It was as
- 26:32Speaker 2: if we were in a horror movie. Hold on one second,
- 26:35Speaker 2: Tubbs has his tail between his legs over there. Doesn't
- 26:37Speaker 2: know what that sound meant. Our engineer never heard, never
- 26:40Speaker 2: heard that before in all your years of broadcast engineering.
- 26:43Speaker 2: All right, Ann are you there?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Hi?
- 26:46Speaker 8: Ryan?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're back. You were like a Dateline NBC
- 26:48Speaker 2: special there for a minute where they slow your voice
- 26:50Speaker 2: down because you don't want to be identified anyway. Anna. Uh, yes,
- 26:55Speaker 2: we are paying your bills in Ontario.
- 27:00Speaker 4: Oh my god, Ryan, are you serious.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I'm totally serious. Thank you for going to the app
- 27:05Speaker 2: and send us a talk back like anybody can do.
- 27:07Speaker 2: We'll do this again on next Friday, but you can
- 27:09Speaker 2: do it for the bonus bill and you got it.
- 27:11Speaker 5: Oh my god, you are amazing.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I love you guys.
- 27:14Speaker 8: I love listening to Why Don't two point seven Kiss
- 27:17Speaker 8: with them?
- 27:17Speaker 6: And iHeartRadio.
- 27:19Speaker 8: Oh my god, like super excited.
- 27:23Speaker 2: We're excited to do this and one of the great
- 27:26Speaker 2: things that we get to do is be able to
- 27:27Speaker 2: pay people's bills and we love doing it. So I
- 27:30Speaker 2: guess I should say thank you for one of the apps.
- 27:31Speaker 5: It's amazing.
- 27:32Speaker 8: Listen, you're listening and waiting for my name, so I'm
- 27:35Speaker 8: just like.
- 27:38Speaker 2: You got it. We are here for you Anna.
- 27:41Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 27:42Speaker 5: I love it.
- 27:43Speaker 8: I'm beyond ecstatic.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Well enjoy the cash and keep it on Kiss of FM. Okay,
- 27:49Speaker 2: you take good care.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Thank you so much.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I love it.
- 27:52Speaker 8: I love you guys. You guys are amazing.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Thank you. We will do another bonus bill. You can
- 27:57Speaker 2: get in on that action on the iHeartRadio app on.
- 28:01Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Harry Styles, Kiss FM next week. Chance to go see
- 28:10Speaker 2: the Styles in New York? Howksighting? What would I wear?
- 28:15Speaker 2: I know what I would wear? That brown outfit I
- 28:17Speaker 2: posted I missed your brown outfit disco out there? Did
- 28:23Speaker 2: I see it? Yes?
- 28:24Speaker 6: With the glasses?
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you got kind of Vibe with some indoor outdoor shades.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Indoor shades, you know what I'm saying. Those are indoor
- 28:31Speaker 2: outdoor No, they're indoor shades. I mean they're actually outdoor shades,
- 28:34Speaker 2: but they're light enough to wear inside. And I did
- 28:37Speaker 2: like it.
- 28:37Speaker 3: I commented, thank you for the comments. I said, yes,
- 28:40Speaker 3: we should disco baby Disco.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Disco is everywhere, retro is everywhere. So all right, we
- 28:46Speaker 2: were talking about this La landlord who runs our deco
- 28:49Speaker 2: apartments and instead of focusing on credit scores or resumes,
- 28:53Speaker 2: he screens potential tenants by asking for their astrological signs.
- 28:57Speaker 2: This is totally legal. We checked on it. He's convinced
- 29:00Speaker 2: that certain signs make better neighbors. Right, He's in the
- 29:04Speaker 2: ViBe's business. Mm hmm. So he loves Leo's because he
- 29:07Speaker 2: thinks Leo's are self sufficient. Apparently he's not a fan
- 29:11Speaker 2: of virgos. He finds them to be nitpicky and he
- 29:14Speaker 2: doesn't want to deal with their headaches. So I think
- 29:17Speaker 2: Jane is or was a tenant of this landlords Jane
- 29:22Speaker 2: in Los Feels. So you lived in the Zodiac Landlords building.
- 29:27Speaker 4: I sure did. With art deco, Dave art deco.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Dave, all right, and how was it? Did this screening
- 29:34Speaker 2: process of signs make for a good living environment?
- 29:38Speaker 1: Uh?
- 29:38Speaker 4: I felt like, you know, it was like pretty chill.
- 29:41Speaker 4: There was like a lot of women with dogs, and
- 29:43Speaker 4: we all got along. It wasn't really upfront that he
- 29:48Speaker 4: uses your zodiac sign, but then it was like a
- 29:50Speaker 4: rumor within everyone. And then once we finally moved out,
- 29:54Speaker 4: he did ask me what my zodiac sign was and
- 29:58Speaker 4: my partner and my.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Husband, wow, he did, and what signs are are you guys?
- 30:05Speaker 4: I am a cancer, which he loves because he said
- 30:08Speaker 4: you were very nurturing and we take care of the home.
- 30:12Speaker 4: And then he asked what my husband was. And my
- 30:15Speaker 4: husband is a Gemini, which he doesn't like. And I
- 30:18Speaker 4: asked him why it's so much Gemini flander and he
- 30:22Speaker 4: said because his ex wife was a Semini.
- 30:29Speaker 2: But it worked out. You enjoyed your experience.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I mean at work, I kind of knew what kind
- 30:35Speaker 4: of person he was. I mean, his buildings are really beautiful.
- 30:40Speaker 4: The tenant clause is like really strict, so I made
- 30:43Speaker 4: sure not to ruffle his feathers and we got along well.
- 30:47Speaker 4: But I knew he could be you know, just like
- 30:49Speaker 4: difficult at times, very protective of his building. But I
- 30:55Speaker 4: came out. I'm scathed.
- 30:56Speaker 2: You did, got it all right? Well we'll see. We
- 30:58Speaker 2: thought there was a very unique story about him. Thank
- 31:01Speaker 2: you for listening, Jane. I'm glad you're unscathed from the event.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 31:06Speaker 2: You take care, Bye bye bye mm hm. Landlord there
- 31:11Speaker 2: picking his tenants based on their signs doesn't want to
- 31:13Speaker 2: deal with the headaches of nitpicky people. Kiss. While we're
- 31:18Speaker 2: just moaning about software for a second here on our phones,
- 31:21Speaker 2: is anyone's contact software slow in your new iPhone software?
- 31:25Speaker 2: And anyone's pictures slow to be able to send in
- 31:29Speaker 2: your iPhone software? Ruby, Yes, I did have.
- 31:31Speaker 3: I've had a little bit of a phone issue the
- 31:33Speaker 3: last week or two.
- 31:35Speaker 2: It's like, doesn't operate fast, Yes, doesn't send. It's weird.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It doesn't send. You can't even get the contacts to
- 31:40Speaker 2: come up when you want to forward some things. It's
- 31:43Speaker 2: not it's not just me, it's you too. It is
- 31:46Speaker 2: me you a hardbody else I've done a hard reset, guys,
- 31:49Speaker 2: I'm not. It wasn't born yesterday. I know how a
- 31:51Speaker 2: hard reset? I do you do? I don't I do.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I don't think you do. How do you do it?
- 31:56Speaker 2: Let's see you do it? I shut the whole thing
- 31:58Speaker 2: off like that boom boom.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Wow.
- 32:03Speaker 2: No, that's not a hard reset. You're just turning it off.
- 32:06Speaker 2: What's the difference.
- 32:07Speaker 3: You need to wait until it's black and then the
- 32:09Speaker 3: Apple logo comes back on and then that's a hard reset.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Black. No, Ryan, you do like you want to check
- 32:16Speaker 2: my shoe size? What you're a ten? Thank you? But
- 32:22Speaker 2: how do I get my phone to work? Tub is
- 32:24Speaker 2: right there next to you? How does they understand any
- 32:26Speaker 2: of this stuff? He's a history major? What I what
- 32:28Speaker 2: iOS are we operating on? Anyway? Something like stop? Stop,
- 32:33Speaker 2: please stop? No more we got I want to say
- 32:37Speaker 2: a load to Jenny and Huntington beat you sent us
