- 0:43Speaker 7: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I you're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 7: I'm the Sportshock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out
- 0:51Speaker 7: there listening land. Glad to be here with you this
- 0:54Speaker 7: last Thursday of April, and it is NFL Draft Night,
- 1:01Speaker 7: number one, you know, primetime Thursday night, eight o'clock, just
- 1:08Speaker 7: gonna get one round in so a lot of people.
- 1:11Speaker 7: I would imagine, what's your favorite player or your team
- 1:14Speaker 7: goes off the board. You might check out and maybe
- 1:19Speaker 7: flip over and gets NBA. But tonight the NFL and
- 1:25Speaker 7: its draftees take center court. Who will be the first
- 1:31Speaker 7: off the board. The Tennessee Titans are on the clock
- 1:35Speaker 7: as they say, follow by the Browns, Giants, Patriots, and
- 1:42Speaker 7: jag Wars. Those are the top five picks. Will they
- 1:47Speaker 7: stay in that order? You never know, especially in the NFL,
- 1:51Speaker 7: who is splashing in a little bit of that NBA
- 1:56Speaker 7: love NBA. You never surprised when teams do trade. NFL
- 2:02Speaker 7: kind of have always been very firm on taking their
- 2:06Speaker 7: draft pick or making whatever decision early. You should never
- 2:11Speaker 7: really be any kind of day of type movement. It's
- 2:16Speaker 7: usually something that was already discussed. But we will see,
- 2:20Speaker 7: Well the Titans with the first pick, where they go
- 2:23Speaker 7: with cam Ward as a quarterback, or should Door Sanders
- 2:28Speaker 7: or the safest first round pick in many years here
- 2:32Speaker 7: Travis Hunter. Looking at different draft boards, people have the
- 2:38Speaker 7: Titans taking Ward and Hunter going to Cleveland where Cleveland
- 2:43Speaker 7: might let him play on both sides of the ball. Now,
- 2:49Speaker 7: Big Kenny is in the building, comanch you, Greg is
- 2:52Speaker 7: in the building with me. We expect the bad producer
- 2:54Speaker 7: here soon. And I would just ask you, guys, I
- 2:59Speaker 7: know you've never been on the field, so I know
- 3:02Speaker 7: my answer. But the Travis Hunter pick and his kind
- 3:10Speaker 7: of dogmatic approach to whoever takes me has let me
- 3:17Speaker 7: play both ways. Do you think he's factoring in the physicality.
- 3:26Speaker 7: And I say that because it is a different world
- 3:31Speaker 7: each and every level that you go, where what you
- 3:37Speaker 7: have on one level starts becoming what you have each play.
- 3:44Speaker 7: So when you're in high school, whoever that best high
- 3:48Speaker 7: school and that you played that season. Now when you
- 3:52Speaker 7: move to college, that's each player that you play, right,
- 3:57Speaker 7: and then the same with the pros. Whoever was your
- 4:00Speaker 7: best competition in college. When you get to the pros,
- 4:04Speaker 7: that's your day play to play competition and then and
- 4:08Speaker 7: you kind of sometimes catch your break and you can
- 4:12Speaker 7: do things. And I say that with his position, yeah,
- 4:16Speaker 7: you were able to flip the ball, but a lot
- 4:18Speaker 7: of times when you went to play corner, I can
- 4:20Speaker 7: almost position you on people that you might be physically
- 4:25Speaker 7: more dominant than or even bigger. But you're saying, you
- 4:31Speaker 7: want me to allow you from Deuced Gardener, what's the
- 4:38Speaker 7: guy named from Salt Gardener tackling you and chasing.
- 4:42Speaker 5: You around the field.
- 4:44Speaker 7: So now you're gonna flip on the other side, and
- 4:47Speaker 7: now you're going to tackle a J.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Brown. Just want me to just keep letting you go,
- 4:54Speaker 5: so you know you're gonna get a J.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Brown I don't even say right right, that's like trying
- 5:02Speaker 7: to That's like trying to guard like Michael Jordan on
- 5:06Speaker 7: offense and then get the ball to come down and
- 5:08Speaker 7: Michael Jordan defending you.
- 5:11Speaker 8: There's there's a psychological term for it. It's called you tripping.
- 5:19Speaker 8: It's in the book you tripping?
- 5:21Speaker 5: Is it? Is it? Why oh you? Why oh? Or
- 5:24Speaker 5: just you no?
- 5:25Speaker 7: Why oh you ill.
- 5:27Speaker 8: With an e en no g just the end you tripping? Now, See,
- 5:31Speaker 8: this is the other thing I think about what a
- 5:33Speaker 8: Travis Hunter sports jack is. On top of him having
- 5:38Speaker 8: that experience with the best player, the best players he
- 5:42Speaker 8: was playing against were still in the swack, they were
- 5:45Speaker 8: still in just the Big twelve.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Now he's playing.
- 5:50Speaker 7: They found the most elite athletes from all of those
- 5:54Speaker 7: and now that guy will be and and maybe he
- 5:58Speaker 7: hasn't had He keeps saying, my he's prepared.
- 6:00Speaker 8: Sometimes I feel like it's hubris. You said it so
- 6:03Speaker 8: long that you can't say anything else now. But when well,
- 6:08Speaker 8: when some of these defensive linemen or safety start hitting
- 6:14Speaker 8: you as a wide out, you now and I don't
- 6:16Speaker 8: want to go in this next little series.
- 6:18Speaker 7: And that's what I think sometimes, I mean, you can,
- 6:21Speaker 7: and we've seen it in history where a player sometimes
- 6:26Speaker 7: spot checks just because they's just one of those you
- 6:30Speaker 7: run a couple of plays where you just try to
- 6:32Speaker 7: get the ball in the hand right on one side
- 6:34Speaker 7: of the ball, or on a specific play, maybe a
- 6:39Speaker 7: big like a refrigerator Perry, we just flip over for
- 6:43Speaker 7: a certain package. But the way he's demanding it just
- 6:46Speaker 7: kind of throws me from the standpoint of He's making
- 6:50Speaker 7: it seem like, no, you can do me this solid
- 6:53Speaker 7: and I can fill in on both sides. I'm gonna
- 6:56Speaker 7: let Michael Parson tackle me on this play and when
- 7:00Speaker 7: I don't get the first down, then I'm gonna go
- 7:03Speaker 7: over on the other side and I'm going to tackle
- 7:06Speaker 7: say Kwan Barkley, and I'm.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Gonna do that. I'll see. That sounded like a three
- 7:13Speaker 5: game plan.
- 7:14Speaker 7: What it sounds out like game four And this is
- 7:17Speaker 7: we're talking about a two weeks I are and this
- 7:20Speaker 7: is the thing.
- 7:21Speaker 8: I'm going to do all of that as someone that
- 7:24Speaker 8: most people consider kind of undersized, kind of an undersized guy,
- 7:28Speaker 8: and I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna do that.
- 7:30Speaker 5: We'll see.
- 7:31Speaker 8: I think that with this being the business of football,
- 7:35Speaker 8: and this has always been the business. It's not at
- 7:40Speaker 8: student athletics transferring over into business. It's always been about
- 7:45Speaker 8: the business of football. They will look at that and go, Travis,
- 7:49Speaker 8: sit down and if we can't risk you that.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Way and the party.
- 7:52Speaker 7: I'm really just shouting out there for him, and then
- 7:55Speaker 7: hopefully it vibrates through the through the air, and through
- 7:59Speaker 7: the soul or system into someone you know who knows him.
- 8:03Speaker 7: It's more of the wear and tear that kind of idea.
- 8:08Speaker 7: You'd be retired by twenty eight in a sense, and
- 8:13Speaker 7: that's being optimistic. You know, he's twenty one, maybe twenty
- 8:17Speaker 7: two at most, and you're looking at trying to do
- 8:20Speaker 7: something that sounds exciting and people won't stop you from
- 8:24Speaker 7: doing it. In this business of making money. In corporate
- 8:28Speaker 7: structure and jerseys, they have half jersey, one color, half jersey.
- 8:33Speaker 7: You know, you have some marketing person who'll come up
- 8:37Speaker 7: with something.
- 8:37Speaker 8: Oh you know, you know when Prince was in them
- 8:39Speaker 8: six inch heels jumping off them thirteen foot speakers, everybody
- 8:44Speaker 8: was like, we love that Prince, but that ended up
- 8:47Speaker 8: being the downfall of Prince in his quality of life.
- 8:51Speaker 7: So the draft, you excited tonight, command Chick Gregg. When
- 8:54Speaker 7: is the Cowboys pick?
- 8:56Speaker 5: We got the twelfth pick. Twelfth, Okay, what you're thinking?
- 9:00Speaker 5: You're thinking?
- 9:01Speaker 3: Uh?
- 9:01Speaker 9: While I was thinking at Ashton genty a running back,
- 9:05Speaker 9: but okay, he's actually moving up where he may go
- 9:08Speaker 9: in the top five. So after that, I don't I
- 9:14Speaker 9: don't know.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Well.
- 9:14Speaker 7: I did to hear something about maybe the Jaguars, which
- 9:17Speaker 7: would be interesting because they still have Travis in t end.
- 9:21Speaker 7: I think he's still there. Remember they got him like
- 9:24Speaker 7: three four years ago from Clemson. Yes, okay, so but
- 9:30Speaker 7: maybe they're trying to hit you with that one two
- 9:32Speaker 7: punch and take some pressure off of Trevor Lawrence maybe
- 9:36Speaker 7: and sat down a foundation of a good strong run
- 9:40Speaker 7: game so he can play action pass. So that's not
- 9:43Speaker 7: that's not a bad gentry to the Jags at five,
- 9:47Speaker 7: Big Kenny before we go.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Uh your j.
- 9:49Speaker 8: E T s Jet Jets, Jets sitting solid at number seven,
- 9:54Speaker 8: got seven, seventh number. What you're thinking, I'm thinking that
- 9:58Speaker 8: we Uh, the projections are saying maybe a Ryan Wilson
- 10:03Speaker 8: at offensive tackle, but because Woody Johnson owns the team,
- 10:05Speaker 8: we'll probably.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Draft Cam Newton, cam No, cam Ward No.
- 10:10Speaker 8: I'm saying Cam Newton's twenty Johnson Whatody Johnson don't care
- 10:15Speaker 8: about nothing, the fact conventional stuff.
- 10:17Speaker 5: You're not Ward, not the guy out of Florida.
- 10:20Speaker 8: I'm talking about the Auburn Trophy winning Cam Newton for
- 10:25Speaker 8: that dude, not cam Ward out of mind, No, the
- 10:27Speaker 8: dude jump kids over in College Park. I'm talking about
- 10:31Speaker 8: Woody Johnson won Hill.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Well what he doesn't.
- 10:34Speaker 7: The Jets do need an offensive line and they need
- 10:36Speaker 7: to sure up that position. The kid that was there
- 10:39Speaker 7: from Dallas just retired, and then who they had they
- 10:43Speaker 7: brought in Tyron Smith. Wasn't he there trying to fill in.
- 10:49Speaker 5: This last year?
- 10:50Speaker 9: We'll check doing the break Oh yeah, yeah Tyren Smith
- 10:53Speaker 9: and he yeah, he signed the one day contractor to
- 10:57Speaker 9: retire as a cowboy. Yes, we'll be back with more
- 11:00Speaker 9: the Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 11:03Speaker 10: And should do something to that line Hittig with the
- 11:06Speaker 10: five Pha phari Phi pH phar.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Hey Romans. If this roll was of mine, I take it,
- 11:19Speaker 5: James and Mamosa.

- 14:36Speaker 11: Of stylish talk Big T Shirt, Billy Banish, that's my
- 14:40Speaker 11: first by Night Bad Dimond talk crazy, want to pull
- 14:43Speaker 11: up his sight.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Welcome back to this Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 14:46Speaker 7: Shock Wayne Game. Good morning to you out there and
- 14:49Speaker 7: listening man, glad to be We're here with you on
- 14:51Speaker 7: Draft Thursday tonight, the first round of the Draft. They
- 14:58Speaker 7: had to make it prime time and just a football
- 15:01Speaker 7: purist like me, I used to love the Sunday. It
- 15:05Speaker 7: was Sunday and Monday. They would wrap it up on
- 15:08Speaker 7: those two days. And now with the night production, because
- 15:12Speaker 7: remember it was Sunday, it wasn't at night. The draft
- 15:16Speaker 7: started like one o'clock on a Sunday, so it was
- 15:20Speaker 7: you could really go in and out of watching the draft.
- 15:24Speaker 7: They would get like the first three rounds in that
- 15:27Speaker 7: first day and then get the rest of it on
- 15:31Speaker 7: day two and you could go, you know, see who
- 15:35Speaker 7: you wanted picked, like Big Kenny at pick seven, and
- 15:37Speaker 7: then go do whatever you want to do. Come back
- 15:40Speaker 7: and still get involved. Now, like I said, when you
- 15:44Speaker 7: start talking about eight o'clock at night and you your
- 15:48Speaker 7: team has the twenty fifth pick, you might be finding
- 15:55Speaker 7: out tomorrow or in the middle of night when you
- 15:58Speaker 7: get up to use the restroom. Who you google it?
- 16:02Speaker 7: Don't really quit. If you're on time it right, that's
- 16:04Speaker 7: when you will find out. So just something I used
- 16:08Speaker 7: to love the daytime draft. It even gave you a
- 16:11Speaker 7: bit of an energy to be able to see the
- 16:13Speaker 7: players a little more. But the powers that be corporate
- 16:18Speaker 7: decided they would make it like more of a prime
- 16:21Speaker 7: time special. And I will tell you that I have
- 16:25Speaker 7: barely watched since they've changed to this format. I just
- 16:32Speaker 7: will wait till tomorrow and get all the results. It's
- 16:36Speaker 7: just that one of those things that I'm gonna let
- 16:40Speaker 7: I'm not gonna throw a party around it. You know,
- 16:43Speaker 7: none of those things come to me. So when I
- 16:45Speaker 7: look at the draft, hopefully your team gets what you
- 16:48Speaker 7: need tonight. The bad producer now is on set with us,
- 16:53Speaker 7: command you, Greg, Big Kenny is in here as well. Guys,
- 16:57Speaker 7: let me read something to you since we're on the
- 17:01Speaker 7: draft and before we get to the nineteen year old
- 17:04Speaker 7: Instagram model. So don't want to get there too soon. No, no,
- 17:11Speaker 7: nineteen year old Instagram.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Off.
- 17:15Speaker 7: Gotta take your time with them. I'm actually reading a
- 17:20Speaker 7: quote here. He can't handle the expectations that are coming
- 17:25Speaker 7: his way. He's gonna be an epic failure. He's gonna
- 17:28Speaker 7: get set excuse me, he's gonna set your organization back
- 17:32Speaker 7: another two or three years. These are words from former
- 17:38Speaker 7: still A running back and TV analyst Merril Hodge, centered
- 17:43Speaker 7: around Colorado quarterback Shoudure Sanders. And we've talked about this
- 17:52Speaker 7: draft and these quarterbacks where it seems like no one
- 17:57Speaker 7: really sees these guys as the bona fide quarterbacks from
- 18:04Speaker 7: last year. I've heard references that they remind them of
- 18:08Speaker 7: the class of like twenty twenty one or twenty two
- 18:12Speaker 7: of guys. I've saw some references where they see Chadeur
- 18:19Speaker 7: like a Teddy Bridge water type guy in different references.
- 18:27Speaker 7: That's Meryll Hodge, and everybody has their opinion. I think
- 18:33Speaker 7: everybody's opinion still kind of simmers that these aren't necessarily
- 18:37Speaker 7: from this moment, the home run hitting quarterback that everybody's
- 18:45Speaker 7: looking for.
- 18:47Speaker 8: Now when you say, like from the season before, I
- 18:53Speaker 8: think the only difference in my opinion between some of
- 18:58Speaker 8: them and a shador Anders is people have questions about
- 19:02Speaker 8: Shadur now. Even at the college level. The other guys
- 19:09Speaker 8: like the Caleb Williams, they were highly touted to be
- 19:11Speaker 8: that guy, and then the Justin Fields to be that guy.
- 19:17Speaker 8: Then they got to the NFL, we were like, that
- 19:19Speaker 8: wasn't the same dude that we watched in college.
- 19:23Speaker 5: I think some of.
- 19:26Speaker 8: People's excitement and expectation of a Shadeur has been tempered
- 19:31Speaker 8: by people like.
- 19:32Speaker 5: The Justin Fields and the Caleb Williams.
- 19:35Speaker 8: We thought they were going to be solid too, and
- 19:37Speaker 8: they turned out to be not solid, not as solid
- 19:40Speaker 8: as we would hope they would be. The only guy
- 19:42Speaker 8: that really is putting up numbers and being who we
- 19:45Speaker 8: thought he would be is the kid up in Washington,
- 19:50Speaker 8: so Jayde and Daniel, and that was a surprise to
- 19:54Speaker 8: most of us that he did as well as he did.
- 19:56Speaker 8: So I think a lot of that, on top of
- 19:59Speaker 8: should dou were looking questionable from time to time, like
- 20:03Speaker 8: nobody's really just hating on him. But to say that
- 20:06Speaker 8: he's going to undo your organization, I think a lot
- 20:10Speaker 8: of what people give him credit for that kind of
- 20:14Speaker 8: stuff or would be the cause and effective when he
- 20:16Speaker 8: was there with his father in Colorado, the circus kind
- 20:21Speaker 8: of followed itself out there. But I don't think he'll
- 20:26Speaker 8: be that much as they're.
- 20:28Speaker 7: Comparing Jackson Dart to Baker Mayfield, which remember it is
- 20:35Speaker 7: taking Baker. Baker Mayfield basically six years got the Tampa
- 20:39Speaker 7: to come around to be serviceable where people really can
- 20:44Speaker 7: see him as helping you win. It's taking a long time,
- 20:48Speaker 7: but Baker was the first pick of the draft. They
- 20:51Speaker 7: are comparing Jackson Dark to him, Jalen Millroe, they are
- 20:55Speaker 7: comparing him to a Taysom Hill who doesn't even really
- 20:59Speaker 7: play QUI order back or the Saints, right, that's what
- 21:03Speaker 7: they draft him at. Now he's a Swiss Army Knights.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Yeah he's done anywhere, which we need a bottle open.
- 21:09Speaker 7: But he takes me which makes him very dangerous. And they,
- 21:12Speaker 7: as I said, compare it Shader Sanders to Teddy Bridgewater.
- 21:16Speaker 7: And I think a lot of that comparison just comes
- 21:19Speaker 7: that there's no aspect of shoulder physically, and I think
- 21:24Speaker 7: that's sometimes what you're not watching. He does have the
- 21:27Speaker 7: intangible meaning when the light shines. We've seen him show
- 21:31Speaker 7: up and he seems that he can persevere through you know,
- 21:36Speaker 7: the sacks and stuff, but he doesn't do anything physically
- 21:42Speaker 7: that lights up the board. And that's typically what they
- 21:45Speaker 7: look for in your first rounders, no matter who they are,
- 21:49Speaker 7: what position, they're looking for somebody that runs fast, or
- 21:54Speaker 7: it's super big, or it's super strong. You know there's
- 21:58Speaker 7: something about them, yeah that stood out in your first
- 22:02Speaker 7: They fling the.
- 22:03Speaker 17: Ball at these these pundits, just like Meryl Hodd saying
- 22:07Speaker 17: two years he's gonna have the organization in the uproar.
- 22:11Speaker 17: If he doesn't have the organization and the uproar is
- 22:14Speaker 17: Meryl Hodd is gonna make a statement saying I was wrong?
- 22:18Speaker 5: You know, that's my biggest thing.
- 22:19Speaker 17: You got a lot of these people that's coming out
- 22:20Speaker 17: saying that these guys are whether it's not even should
- 22:23Speaker 17: do or whoever the being drafted, they're gonna do this
- 22:25Speaker 17: till the franchise.
- 22:26Speaker 5: They're going to do that.
- 22:27Speaker 17: They haven't even got to the first ot as, And
- 22:30Speaker 17: so how can you just put that on them that
- 22:34Speaker 17: that's the same.
- 22:35Speaker 8: Way we project to them, how good they're gonna be
- 22:37Speaker 8: in the NFL. Yeah, he's gonna he's gonna change the position,
- 22:41Speaker 8: and no he didn't.
- 22:43Speaker 5: He's gonna be hard. Yeah, yeah, I saw. I'm just
- 22:46Speaker 5: saying that. You never hear him come back and say,
- 22:48Speaker 5: well I was wrong after two years he didn't do that.
- 22:50Speaker 7: Well, some guys do, uh, based on what position you're
- 22:54Speaker 7: put in the next year. But if somebody if asking
- 22:59Speaker 7: you about somebody in that same position, you get that chance.
- 23:02Speaker 7: You don't always get that chain. You're not just gonna
- 23:04Speaker 7: come off of your couch and make something. Let me
- 23:06Speaker 7: call a press conference to say I was wrong. But
- 23:09Speaker 7: if I find myself in next year's draft and I'm
- 23:12Speaker 7: able to sit here and have this conversation, and I, well,
- 23:15Speaker 7: I did get such and such wrong last year, but
- 23:19Speaker 7: I know you're you're so sole long at your door.
- 23:22Speaker 7: You take everything offensive, so you're blinded that it's all
- 23:26Speaker 7: success where I always ask.
- 23:28Speaker 5: You, what is it you you see?
- 23:30Speaker 7: No, I not only should do. I said, there's a
- 23:32Speaker 7: lot of like no, no, no, we know who you're
- 23:34Speaker 7: talking about. But I met you before. I'm just we'll
- 23:37Speaker 7: be back more to Sports Job show right.
- 23:38Speaker 5: After this.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Messages that had to hit the zone. Turns out the
- 23:44Speaker 3: girl was really a June. Think you slipped back till
- 23:48Speaker 3: I slipped back my link.
- 23:52Speaker 12: Don't go Awayne Born of the Sports John Hill with
- 23:55Speaker 12: Wayne Gandy is coming up next.
- 23:58Speaker 13: Oh spot, Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots.
- 24:04Speaker 3: And now a speech.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 24:09Speaker 1: heart and brain.
- 24:11Speaker 5: Who's with me?
- 24:12Speaker 18: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 24:14Speaker 18: brain is saying, when it's time to go home, Somebody.
- 24:17Speaker 5: Call me a ride.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Love that guy, me too. Know your buzzed warning signs,
- 24:22Speaker 1: call for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Buzz Driving is drunk driving.

- 26:18Speaker 20: Sunday, I find you, I think.
- 26:26Speaker 8: Sunday.
- 26:30Speaker 7: Welcome back to this more Shock show. I'm this Morre
- 26:32Speaker 7: Shock Wayne Canny. Good morning to you out there listening land.
- 26:35Speaker 7: The draft is tonight, we are called in the NFL world. Uh,
- 26:40Speaker 7: there is not a lot of hooplah around this draft.
- 26:46Speaker 7: When you look at big names from the college level
- 26:50Speaker 7: moving up outside of the four or five names we
- 26:54Speaker 7: have mentioned already here on the show, which like typical
- 27:00Speaker 7: quarterbacks and Ashton gent I do Carter out of Penn State.
- 27:05Speaker 7: You start getting out of those couple of names and
- 27:10Speaker 7: it starts to fade. Not that there aren't good players
- 27:13Speaker 7: and quality, workable, top notch that's going to make impact.
- 27:18Speaker 7: It's just that a lot of the football world, with
- 27:24Speaker 7: the way that Dion Sanders in prime time kind of
- 27:31Speaker 7: absorbed a lot of the attention of the football world,
- 27:36Speaker 7: did a great job. I mean, prime I can't even
- 27:41Speaker 7: hate you on that. For the four years you've been around,
- 27:43Speaker 7: you hogged all the spotlight must be the money. Did
- 27:48Speaker 7: a great job, a lot of focus to And it's
- 27:52Speaker 7: really and that's why I've said that before. It's really
- 27:55Speaker 7: him and the same two players, because I'm quite sure
- 27:59Speaker 7: there's the people.
- 28:00Speaker 5: From Colorado up from this draft. But what name do
- 28:05Speaker 5: you hear? Yeah? And you know what I mean, like
- 28:10Speaker 5: and don't hear anything else.
- 28:12Speaker 7: I didn't say you don't know. I said here, because
- 28:18Speaker 7: you know, when you talk like that, people are yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 7: this person. I didn't say you don't know somebody else.
- 28:23Speaker 7: I'm saying you don't hear and here means that the
- 28:27Speaker 7: average person won't know because You're gonna throw in Shiloh
- 28:31Speaker 7: his son, and then I'm gonna say, well, who after Shiloh?
- 28:36Speaker 21: You know.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Exactly the virus Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Horn Jr. Is that right?
- 28:46Speaker 5: And then they have to check Jimmy Horn Jr. Am
- 28:48Speaker 5: I right? I think he already he didn't play, but
- 28:53Speaker 5: didn't he play already? So but we will see.
- 28:57Speaker 7: Will Chadure go early or some people saying he might
- 29:02Speaker 7: even be around for the Stillers and pick twenty one,
- 29:05Speaker 7: which would be on they have picked.
- 29:07Speaker 5: Twenty one something they do. I had I had a
- 29:09Speaker 5: question about that. Interesting, Yes, so I heard like shouldur
- 29:13Speaker 5: can go anywhere between three and twenty one? What do
- 29:17Speaker 5: you think of?
- 29:18Speaker 9: Like some people believe that Shador is being talked about
- 29:25Speaker 9: in a negative way to get teams to back off
- 29:28Speaker 9: of him so that he'll fall to a certain team.
- 29:32Speaker 9: It's soundly that that happens a lot, or do you
- 29:35Speaker 9: think that's what's happening now with him to where maybe
- 29:40Speaker 9: he'll fall to you know, and then the Steelers can
- 29:42Speaker 9: get him at twenty one. But it's just it's not
- 29:47Speaker 9: that like we don't really think he's all has all
- 29:51Speaker 9: these bad things that we're saying. We just want other
- 29:54Speaker 9: teams to think that so that he'll.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Oh so, so the band producer really liked the girl
- 29:58Speaker 5: that you're going out with.
- 30:00Speaker 8: He keep telling man I wouldn't let her talk to
- 30:02Speaker 8: me that way, and then all of a sudden, you not,
- 30:05Speaker 8: and then he call up with.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Uh, he should treat you better. Yeah, I don't. I'm
- 30:11Speaker 5: in that collusion, conspiracy or something like that. I would
- 30:14Speaker 5: answer that.
- 30:15Speaker 7: I will answer that by telling you that I don't
- 30:17Speaker 7: think any of these thirty two teams want to pick
- 30:20Speaker 7: any of these quarterbacks at all in the first round.
- 30:25Speaker 5: So you do it that which you want. I don't think.
- 30:27Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 30:28Speaker 7: I didn't see first round talent. I saw second round,
- 30:35Speaker 7: third round possibility that can become good pros. But I'm
- 30:41Speaker 7: telling you the same thing I saw in Baker Mayfield
- 30:44Speaker 7: and I saw in Jameis Winston. I didn't see it.
- 30:48Speaker 7: I watched them, and I watched him do that thing,
- 30:51Speaker 7: and I would sit in the stands or watch on
- 30:53Speaker 7: TV and think, yeah, that ain't gonna work next level.
- 30:58Speaker 7: I didn't see this, or I didn't see the tug
- 31:03Speaker 7: or I saw the happy feet. Nothing of what I
- 31:07Speaker 7: am saying has any anything about want to see these
- 31:11Speaker 7: young men fall anywhere. I would like him, if anything,
- 31:15Speaker 7: someone like us should do it to go to an
- 31:17Speaker 7: organization that's gonna show him that patience. I liked that
- 31:21Speaker 7: Michael Pennix was here in Atlanta and didn't have to
- 31:24Speaker 7: do nothing the week fourteen.
- 31:28Speaker 5: I like that. I would love hitting all these people.
- 31:31Speaker 7: I would like him to go to do it, go
- 31:33Speaker 7: to maybe Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh get the run game going
- 31:36Speaker 7: and develop him like they did with Ben and everybody
- 31:41Speaker 7: forget everybody forget the first six seven year Ben Roethlisberger
- 31:45Speaker 7: and they jumped to Big Ben with the four receivers.
- 31:48Speaker 7: They forget the big Ben that only threw four hundred
- 31:50Speaker 7: and thirty six yards today because he was giving the
- 31:52Speaker 7: ball to listen that kind of stuff, you know, Levon Jerome,
- 32:02Speaker 7: that guy, the other little speech that they had Parker,
- 32:04Speaker 7: Willie Parker, that's what they were doing. And he was
- 32:07Speaker 7: throwing the ball. He was thirteen eighteen and he would
- 32:12Speaker 7: just do that one thing where it looked like he
- 32:14Speaker 7: was gonna get sacked and get out of it and
- 32:17Speaker 7: hit the tight end for the big first down that
- 32:20Speaker 7: solidified the game, and then he evolved into the Big Ben.
- 32:27Speaker 5: I would love that for all young quarterbacks. Cam Ward.
- 32:32Speaker 7: I don't want Tennessee just to grab him and put
- 32:34Speaker 7: him out there. I don't know that he's ready. I
- 32:37Speaker 7: did believe that Jade Daniels would do what Jaydon Daniels did.
- 32:41Speaker 7: He looked like the most complete, versatile But what I've
- 32:45Speaker 7: seen quarterback to be out there, So I'm pulling for
- 32:48Speaker 7: you doer. And I think the drafting is, like we said,
- 32:52Speaker 7: so many of these teams at the front already are
- 32:55Speaker 7: in contracts with guys they just drafted. Yeah that if
- 32:59Speaker 7: he don't, if he doesn't go like somewhere like the Giants,
- 33:04Speaker 7: then nobody really is scheduled to need a quarterback until
- 33:09Speaker 7: the Saints. And that's because of the injury to Derek Carr.
- 33:14Speaker 7: They don't know what that injury is with him, so
- 33:16Speaker 7: they might draft him and then it's the same thing
- 33:19Speaker 7: after them. Those teams already either just paid somebody or
- 33:24Speaker 7: just drafted somebody, so the next team that would be there.
- 33:27Speaker 7: And that's how you you didn't necessarily fall in the draft.
- 33:32Speaker 7: It was just the windows of where you could go
- 33:36Speaker 7: were there when I would came out to be drafted,
- 33:39Speaker 7: and my agent and friends we would just where were
- 33:43Speaker 7: you know, where you might be able to go to
- 33:45Speaker 7: Tampa at five because you got to look, who wants
- 33:47Speaker 7: to tackle?
- 33:50Speaker 5: You can't just go to a team.
- 33:52Speaker 7: You know, the first three teams don't need to tackle,
- 33:54Speaker 7: so I'm not going there. These two teams don't need
- 33:57Speaker 7: to tackle. So there was Tampa Bay at the Tampa
- 34:00Speaker 7: Bay at five. The next team that needed maybe a
- 34:03Speaker 7: tackle was Philadelphia at fourteen. So Trent Dilford went to
- 34:09Speaker 7: Tampa at five. Bernard Williams went to Philly at fourteen.
- 34:16Speaker 7: I went to the Rams at fifteen. Those were the
- 34:21Speaker 7: next two teams that needed lineman.
- 34:26Speaker 5: There it goes.
- 34:27Speaker 7: So it's no knock like oh man for your door.
- 34:29Speaker 7: Don't look at it like that. He went to the
- 34:33Speaker 7: next team that was available. We needed a quarterback if
- 34:36Speaker 7: he ends up in Pittsburgh, which all let me cry
- 34:40Speaker 7: you a river that you ended up in a place
- 34:43Speaker 7: that has always seemed to be able to keep a winning,
- 34:48Speaker 7: stable environment around their quarterback.
- 34:51Speaker 8: And now, with you just giving us that bit of
- 34:54Speaker 8: analytics and inside information about where players go based on
- 35:01Speaker 8: need and position, why do you think players like a
- 35:04Speaker 8: Shador will campaign so hard.
- 35:07Speaker 5: For where they're not going.
- 35:09Speaker 8: You got about two spots in the first round that
- 35:11Speaker 8: you could possibly go, and you mean to tell me,
- 35:14Speaker 8: you want to openly say I'm not going here.
- 35:17Speaker 5: Well, because he wants he's competing for cam Ward spot. Okay,
- 35:24Speaker 5: I would imagine that's what he knows.
- 35:26Speaker 7: He knows that some one of these tamp either Cleveland
- 35:30Speaker 7: or Tennessee, is going to take a quarterback.
- 35:33Speaker 5: He's trying to make sure he's fit up in that inituation. Okay.
- 35:37Speaker 7: And that's the only other thing, and we can move
- 35:39Speaker 7: on from this young man that it seems to be.
- 35:41Speaker 7: He seems to be trying to talk people into liking him,
- 35:45Speaker 7: how liking him and how much he gonna be this
- 35:47Speaker 7: and that.
- 35:55Speaker 5: We call it over.
- 35:57Speaker 8: He's marketing himself. I'm saying in comedy, we call it
- 36:01Speaker 8: over selling man. I'm gonna rip it tonight back. They
- 36:04Speaker 8: gonna be on who you trying to tell them. I
- 36:08Speaker 8: want to agree with Greg, I mean just a little bit.
- 36:10Speaker 17: I think that a lot of the neg stuff is
- 36:12Speaker 17: to the point that he's gonna fall down and agree
- 36:14Speaker 17: with you that most of the quarterbacks that have been
- 36:17Speaker 17: picked past the fifteenth I mean in the first round,
- 36:21Speaker 17: who they have did better down the road because they're
- 36:25Speaker 17: with a more stable organization that has just came out
- 36:28Speaker 17: of the playoffs, so right there that are on the
- 36:30Speaker 17: edge and That's why I keep saying I'm in the
- 36:32Speaker 17: heart of hearts.
- 36:33Speaker 5: I still think that he's.
- 36:34Speaker 17: Gonna fall in the laps of the Dallas Cowboys to night.
- 36:37Speaker 17: I just think that they're gonna be the ones.
- 36:39Speaker 5: There's no point.
- 36:40Speaker 9: But with Dallas drafts drafted quarterback, I just don't I just.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Can they afford a quarterback?
- 36:47Speaker 9: But I just think that it was just not not
- 36:50Speaker 9: a first round But I mean, there's no point in
- 36:52Speaker 9: Dallas drafting a quarterback in the first round because of
- 36:56Speaker 9: what unless they're trading that tonight.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Right training dak tonight, We'll see, we'll see, That's what
- 37:04Speaker 5: I'm saying. I just don't know.
- 37:05Speaker 17: I just think that it's just the the marketing part
- 37:08Speaker 17: of it. Like you said, he's trying to sell itself. Uh,
- 37:11Speaker 17: I mean you can. It's just like the Brownie situation.
- 37:15Speaker 17: You're gonna sell t shirts regardless if he play or not.
- 37:18Speaker 17: I mean, you're gonna sell the shirts, You're gonna sell
- 37:19Speaker 17: the jerseys. You're gonna have the people buying the merchandise.
- 37:22Speaker 5: I think the Dallas fans will turn on Jerry if.
- 37:25Speaker 8: He show will Now now you can only play on
- 37:29Speaker 8: my face. All the other dumb mistakes believing that it
- 37:34Speaker 8: was possible. I kind of believe that was gonna be
- 37:38Speaker 8: who you said he was gonna be till he got hurt,
- 37:40Speaker 8: which is why he ain't who we thought he was
- 37:42Speaker 8: gonna be. We never saw this dude. It's somebody that
- 37:45Speaker 8: we was trying to get in bed with and you
- 37:47Speaker 8: didn't put up You.
- 37:48Speaker 17: Know that was drafted. He wasn't drafted to be the
- 37:50Speaker 17: franchise guy, and Tony Romo was that guy. Dak was
- 37:53Speaker 17: drafted to be the backup, and they they drafted Dak
- 37:56Speaker 17: to replace Tony Romo. They was gonna use him as
- 38:00Speaker 17: long as he was serviceable, and then passed the torch
- 38:03Speaker 17: to Dak that always.
- 38:05Speaker 8: Came there to be the starter. He was not somebody
- 38:07Speaker 8: that are we just gonna get what they got out there,
- 38:10Speaker 8: should do. They're taking him because they have nobody left
- 38:13Speaker 8: after cam War and Should Dour. Those are the two
- 38:17Speaker 8: names out there that everybody's talking about.
- 38:19Speaker 7: An I don't see what what you're weaving, what getting
- 38:24Speaker 7: rid of? And first of all, you replacing the guy
- 38:28Speaker 7: with the same guy pretty much their games are the same.
- 38:35Speaker 7: We'll be back more than Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 38:39Speaker 3: You ain't know I was a hit of cook.
- 38:41Speaker 5: I'm always looking fleet.
- 38:43Speaker 11: Put your cast out now, bar amg outside bull and
- 38:46Speaker 11: gun with some bloody red I like Reggie it'll be
- 38:51Speaker 11: if you were.
- 38:53Speaker 8: Going in.
- 38:55Speaker 12: Don't go Awayne Boord of The Sports John Show with
- 38:58Speaker 12: Wayne Gambe is coming out the.

- 41:03Speaker 6: And now back to the sports John Wing Betwing log.
- 41:27Speaker 26: As you can see a sports joint all sing even
- 41:31Speaker 26: the joy.
- 41:34Speaker 7: Welcome back to this spot shock show. I'm the Sportshock
- 41:36Speaker 7: Wing Gandy command you. Greg sent me a story about
- 41:41Speaker 7: New York pet Co selling chickens. I always knew pet
- 41:45Speaker 7: cow to sell chickens. If you go in the back,
- 41:49Speaker 7: you never been in the You must have never been
- 41:53Speaker 7: in the pet co. But the reason why they're selling
- 41:56Speaker 7: the chickens while we're they're selling them other than people
- 42:00Speaker 7: will squear eggs are high.
- 42:02Speaker 5: That is for the It's for the egg. So that's yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 5: But what else would you have a chicken? Some people
- 42:11Speaker 5: have them as pets just at the house. Nah, dog,
- 42:16Speaker 5: I don't know what you don'd them by? That chicken
- 42:18Speaker 5: walking that's called it where you live.
- 42:23Speaker 7: Yeah, let me ask you something when people because I
- 42:27Speaker 7: had this conversation with my own mother the other day
- 42:30Speaker 7: and I laughed. Basically, an egg is about seventy five
- 42:39Speaker 7: cent now right in there somewhere. I haven't done the math,
- 42:44Speaker 7: but somewhere between fifty five cent seventy five cent if
- 42:49Speaker 7: you broke it down by a dozen, right, what else
- 42:52Speaker 7: in our country can you get that you can literally
- 42:56Speaker 7: eat and sustain yourself pop cent?
- 43:04Speaker 5: I mean depending on what you plant, if you grow
- 43:08Speaker 5: it is fruit, some freezes, some fruit. Yeah what what? What?
- 43:13Speaker 7: Because I went in, if I went and bought one banana,
- 43:16Speaker 7: how much would that banana be?
- 43:19Speaker 5: Probably almost a dollar? Yeah, bananas, I'm trying to cut.
- 43:23Speaker 8: If the line is sixty five, if I went and
- 43:25Speaker 8: bought an apple dollar fifteen cents?
- 43:30Speaker 5: You you see my point?
- 43:31Speaker 7: My point is like, so when people are sitting there
- 43:33Speaker 7: all eggs, it's like, but anything else you're buying in
- 43:35Speaker 7: this grocery store is about fifty to seventy five cent individually.
- 43:41Speaker 7: But all of a sudden, you say, the egg is
- 43:44Speaker 7: this is what you want to waste?
- 43:47Speaker 8: The egg?
- 43:48Speaker 7: Well, I don't understand. I'm gonna sell your egg for
- 43:52Speaker 7: seventy cent. I'm gonna sell your banana for seventy cent
- 43:54Speaker 7: either or pick one can't put that banana in? No,
- 44:02Speaker 7: no corn bread though?
- 44:05Speaker 5: What's then it? Because?
- 44:06Speaker 7: But then okay, I just was making that if you
- 44:10Speaker 7: do it by how it is, because right now a
- 44:13Speaker 7: dozen of eggs is about six ninety nine something like that.
- 44:18Speaker 5: But if you took that and divided by twelve.
- 44:20Speaker 7: You would see each individual egg is selling for what
- 44:22Speaker 7: I'm saying, And then you would see what else in
- 44:26Speaker 7: this store? Can I go and boil or scramble and
- 44:31Speaker 7: eat and sustain me or sixty cents sixty five cents.
- 44:39Speaker 7: You can't even get a sneaker's bars.
- 44:46Speaker 5: Two dollars for the loans. So that's all.
- 44:51Speaker 7: So when people say, I'm not saying eggs haven't gone up,
- 44:53Speaker 7: I'm just saying, but they could have been.
- 44:57Speaker 5: Too low.
- 45:00Speaker 7: And you know, now you just having to bite the cost.
- 45:04Speaker 7: And I'm not eating any more eggs than I did before.
- 45:07Speaker 7: So I don't get with the whole.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 45:09Speaker 17: A lot of people they cook because they cooked a
- 45:11Speaker 17: lot of things that they make and they cook with
- 45:13Speaker 17: them using the eggs in the recipe versus like just
- 45:17Speaker 17: for breakfast. And that's where a lot of people are
- 45:20Speaker 17: are having a problem with and and and then to
- 45:24Speaker 17: what you were saying, like my neighbors across the street
- 45:26Speaker 17: didn't look they have hens and they sell eggs all
- 45:30Speaker 17: day and they've been selling them for like the last
- 45:33Speaker 17: year or so. So I mean, uh, it's like a
- 45:37Speaker 17: new thing. Everybody wants to, Oh, we gotta go get
- 45:39Speaker 17: some hens. So when we run out of milt, what're
- 45:41Speaker 17: gonna go? Get a cow? Do milk and your cow?
- 45:43Speaker 8: Do you think that A lot of what people are
- 45:45Speaker 8: reacting to now is the fact that they haven't realized
- 45:49Speaker 8: that we've been paying really really super low bargain basement
- 45:54Speaker 8: prices for food for a long time, and now that
- 45:57Speaker 8: food costs what food costs to produce and deliver, and
- 46:01Speaker 8: all of those things that we want, we wanted convenient,
- 46:04Speaker 8: and we want it delivered today within three hours of
- 46:07Speaker 8: ordering it from a phone, and all of that has
- 46:10Speaker 8: to be factored into the cost of getting that.
- 46:13Speaker 17: I think of the shock of people seeing it just
- 46:15Speaker 17: jumped that quick. Instead, it wasn't like a gradual I
- 46:17Speaker 17: mean like let me walk it up, let me step
- 46:20Speaker 17: it up. It's like you went from zero to one
- 46:22Speaker 17: hundred real quick.
- 46:23Speaker 8: Well, the number of birds, from what they're saying, that
- 46:27Speaker 8: were affected by av and flu and the production of
- 46:30Speaker 8: eggs was affected by over a quarter to thirty percent
- 46:35Speaker 8: of the poultry producing population. So I mean, you know
- 46:40Speaker 8: the fact that it went from fifty five to sixty
- 46:42Speaker 8: five cents, we're still doing good.
- 46:45Speaker 7: And you know, I know, and I used to eat
- 46:47Speaker 7: pickled eggs. They were like a dollar, you know, in
- 46:51Speaker 7: the ball in the jar. All the all the pickling
- 46:55Speaker 7: eggs is vinegar. Yeah, and red dye. And the red
- 46:59Speaker 7: dye might legal. Now yeah, I think they out that
- 47:03Speaker 7: isn't pink. It just would drop to make it more colorful.
- 47:07Speaker 7: They started selling them white and people would look at them.
- 47:10Speaker 7: And when they dropped the little red dyeing there and
- 47:14Speaker 7: made it pink, it drew more customers. It didn't make
- 47:18Speaker 7: it taste any different. It's tastes like a pickled egg.
- 47:22Speaker 7: But but people don't get your chicken.
- 47:25Speaker 5: That's what I was.
- 47:26Speaker 7: That's what you choose to a chicken. I don't know
- 47:30Speaker 7: how many eggs that chicken will give you.
- 47:33Speaker 9: I think there's the most that some people think, Oh,
- 47:35Speaker 9: it's endless eggs if you get this chicken.
- 47:37Speaker 5: No it's not. But it might be two eggs a week,
- 47:41Speaker 5: might be five. I think endlessly. I think said his
- 47:45Speaker 5: hand dropped about five a day.
- 47:47Speaker 8: And and this is the thing I've known people who
- 47:51Speaker 8: farmed their entire life and can't get the how many
- 47:54Speaker 8: eggs are he and laced down to a science And
- 47:58Speaker 8: here you go, you living in a high rise and
- 48:00Speaker 8: you're you're gonna start breeding and raising chickens and collecting
- 48:03Speaker 8: on the top of your roof. You don't know what
- 48:05Speaker 8: they're doing.
- 48:06Speaker 7: Tylerdega Speedway this Sunday. I know we're just really in
- 48:12Speaker 7: the nf I'm not in it. The NFL Draft is tonight.
- 48:15Speaker 7: We're in the NBA playoffs, which I don't even particularly
- 48:19Speaker 7: like to report on.
- 48:20Speaker 5: We're so.
- 48:22Speaker 7: We're so far far away from the end that it
- 48:27Speaker 7: almost makes no real middle of the city talk about.
- 48:31Speaker 7: Now we're not even in the middle. We gain Junie, Hey,
- 48:34Speaker 7: we June. It's June before we finally June seventeenth or something.
- 48:40Speaker 7: We're so far away, but this is a playoffs, so
- 48:43Speaker 7: we ought to be engaged. That's the seven. It's a long,
- 48:47Speaker 7: long journey to get to a champion. But we'll be
- 48:52Speaker 7: back with more The Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 49:05Speaker 12: Don't Bowl awayne or of the Sports Jock Show with
- 49:07Speaker 12: Wayne Dan videos coming up next.

- 49:20Speaker 27: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 49:23Speaker 27: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 49:27Speaker 27: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 49:30Speaker 27: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't
- 49:33Speaker 27: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go

- 50:42Speaker 6: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 50:47Speaker 20: Center Court on sports news gossip blah blah blah.
- 50:54Speaker 28: Blah blah, shoulder.
- 51:18Speaker 5: A corner wool total because and I've heard that you
- 51:24Speaker 5: want to so whoa who she be?
- 51:26Speaker 6: On kind of film?
- 51:27Speaker 5: Wait, he showed me some most looking back to this
- 51:29Speaker 5: What Shock show. I'm this what Shock Wing Kennigo. Morning
- 51:33Speaker 5: to you.
- 51:33Speaker 29: Uh.
- 51:34Speaker 5: Anthony Edwards a gentleman who has basically.
- 51:39Speaker 7: Going on the record, I mean it hasn't been a
- 51:42Speaker 7: flat out statement of saying he doesn't want to be
- 51:47Speaker 7: the face of the NBA, but he definitely through his actions,
- 51:53Speaker 7: have been campaigning to command you, Greg Big Kenny and
- 51:58Speaker 7: Bad Producer that he does not want to be the
- 52:00Speaker 7: face of the nb A. And we've talked about with
- 52:05Speaker 7: this generation, all these guys, John Moran and that age group,
- 52:11Speaker 7: those gentlemen aren't necessarily from an era that was shouldered
- 52:18Speaker 7: with or laid upon that because even with the idea
- 52:24Speaker 7: of winning a championship after you get Lebron and maybe
- 52:30Speaker 7: a couple of guys after him being drafted first, a
- 52:36Speaker 7: lot of the guys that are drafted first don't even
- 52:39Speaker 7: get the weight of having to deliver a championship, right.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Have you noticed that, Like they don't have that.
- 52:48Speaker 7: Role put on them, like, oh, your career is going
- 52:52Speaker 7: to be judged right by winning a championship. And John Morant,
- 52:59Speaker 7: and as we say with Anthony Edwards, the superstar out
- 53:04Speaker 7: of Minnesota, a couple of days ago, being fined he
- 53:10Speaker 7: said fifty thousand dollars yelling into the crowd about his
- 53:15Speaker 7: private area being bigger than one of the gentlemen in
- 53:19Speaker 7: the stands and that league. It was caught on tape.
- 53:25Speaker 7: They find him fifty thousand dollars. We've seen at this
- 53:30Speaker 7: entire season, it's almost like he took the baton. Last
- 53:35Speaker 7: year it was the Chronicles of Ja Morant, and this
- 53:40Speaker 7: year it was the Chronicles of Anthony Edwards. Can can
- 53:45Speaker 7: the church say amen on that?
- 53:46Speaker 5: Or is it? Do you think do you think a
- 53:49Speaker 5: lot of that, Let's go on to pass the play,
- 53:54Speaker 5: let's time to go on to collect.
- 53:55Speaker 8: Do you think they competing for choir director? I mean,
- 53:58Speaker 8: somebody seemed like they want to be the It's not
- 54:03Speaker 8: a lot of the way that it seems. Maybe it's
- 54:05Speaker 8: just timing, but it doesn't seem like there's a tragedy
- 54:13Speaker 8: of errors here. This is just bad timing or a
- 54:17Speaker 8: poor sequence of events. It seems like, oh, you thought
- 54:21Speaker 8: that that was incendiary and offensive, watch this hold my beer?
- 54:27Speaker 8: And then they go right in and do something and
- 54:29Speaker 8: all of this stuff is being caught and they're being fined.
- 54:32Speaker 8: And I'm sure right now fifty thousand dollars seem like
- 54:35Speaker 8: a flex a.
- 54:36Speaker 5: They find me if they want to.
- 54:38Speaker 8: But post career, you'll be man, that was fifty thousand
- 54:43Speaker 8: dollars for just saying something, well and see the thing
- 54:46Speaker 8: in response to somebody response, that's my thing.
- 54:50Speaker 5: We can't see or really hear what they were saying
- 54:52Speaker 5: to them.
- 54:53Speaker 17: You can just but you can hear Anthony Edwards real
- 54:56Speaker 17: clear and to me, like Russell Westbrook, Braun or anybody
- 55:01Speaker 17: they had that person, they wouldn't stood there arguing with him.
- 55:04Speaker 5: They're just like, hey, let's get them out of here.
- 55:06Speaker 5: I'm not gonna do that.
- 55:07Speaker 17: But it seems like Edward Man and John Morant them
- 55:10Speaker 17: they ready to be like mad Max Charles Barkley and
- 55:14Speaker 17: just take on the fans, just like I'm.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Gonna say something back to you.
- 55:18Speaker 8: But it seemed like they up, they doubled down.
- 55:22Speaker 5: That's what like. No, I just shout. I shouted you suck,
- 55:26Speaker 5: you suck where you could my big old way.
- 55:31Speaker 7: Hey, hey hey, that's what I'm saying sitting here with
- 55:34Speaker 7: my mama, you know, and you went to.
- 55:37Speaker 5: Yeah Straighten said, these are just the ones that are
- 55:42Speaker 5: that are caught. I seen.
- 55:44Speaker 9: I saw a YouTube compilation of like trash talk like
- 55:47Speaker 9: people on the court. There are so many threats of
- 55:51Speaker 9: players slapping fans. Fans, yeah, wanted to fight the players
- 55:55Speaker 9: like it's it's rampant. So this is just an I
- 55:58Speaker 9: this is this is the one we sweak in here
- 56:01Speaker 9: but see here.
- 56:02Speaker 5: But that's why I say it.
- 56:02Speaker 17: Should you applaud Russell Westbrook and the Lebron's and ones
- 56:05Speaker 17: who say, hey, can you let's go ahead, and that
- 56:08Speaker 17: NBA messiness they read, do not do this, do this.
- 56:11Speaker 17: They take advantage that where like you say, seem like
- 56:13Speaker 17: these other guys, they like, man, you can't talk to
- 56:16Speaker 17: me like that.
- 56:17Speaker 8: Well, I think that it's I think it's a double
- 56:20Speaker 8: edged sword, and it's kind of unfair that a lot
- 56:23Speaker 8: of fans will use the perception that the customer's always right.
- 56:29Speaker 5: You're not supposed to talk to me that way. But
- 56:32Speaker 5: I'll say whatever I want about your.
- 56:33Speaker 8: Mom and your kids, and I'm just being a fan,
- 56:37Speaker 8: and you're not supposed to be a human. There's something
- 56:39Speaker 8: really going on in your life. Your dad's really sick,
- 56:42Speaker 8: and I'm there screaming you need to be there with
- 56:44Speaker 8: your sick. Wait a minute, did you just bring my
- 56:47Speaker 8: daddy into this? I'm hoping to night and you brought
- 56:50Speaker 8: my whole personal life into it. So I turn around
- 56:53Speaker 8: and you don't push my button, and I let one off,
- 56:56Speaker 8: And now the whole league is on some of you.
- 56:58Speaker 8: How can you be that way when the Lebrons and
- 57:01Speaker 8: the Russells have figured it out that the game is
- 57:04Speaker 8: rigged against me.
- 57:05Speaker 5: So I'm gonna make you feel it.
- 57:07Speaker 7: I'll have you put out and I think I think
- 57:09Speaker 7: that what you're to get Creed, what you're saying is
- 57:13Speaker 7: that with these younger guys, as we talk about, they
- 57:17Speaker 7: are YouTube, Instagram. Yeah, they actually let fans into their life.
- 57:23Speaker 7: Even though Lebron and Russell aren't that much older than them.
- 57:27Speaker 7: They they wasn't playing. They don't open their whole life
- 57:31Speaker 7: right to them. Whereas you can catch and and jaw
- 57:35Speaker 7: hole encounter from the moment they went up and don't
- 57:40Speaker 7: just be eight seconds. They got a whole three or
- 57:43Speaker 7: four minute movie.
- 57:47Speaker 5: It got my dog go for there.
- 57:49Speaker 17: That's my and just like you got to applaud like Lebron,
- 57:54Speaker 17: just for like Kevin. The situation is going on right
- 57:57Speaker 17: now with Kevin Gates. You know people want him. You
- 58:00Speaker 17: get too deep. I don't know what what do you
- 58:02Speaker 17: mean Kevin Gates?
- 58:05Speaker 7: Uh?
- 58:06Speaker 5: I know who he is. What happened?
- 58:08Speaker 7: He made some comment about Lebron's wife and then came
- 58:13Speaker 7: to the game the other night.
- 58:15Speaker 5: And everybody wanted Lebron to approach him, like Steven A. Smith.
- 58:18Speaker 8: Forget that, man, Lebron, I'm coming man, dude, forget that.

- 59:11Speaker 28: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 59:14Speaker 28: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 59:17Speaker 28: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 59:20Speaker 28: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 59:23Speaker 28: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 59:27Speaker 28: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 59:30Speaker 28: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 59:34Speaker 28: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 59:36Speaker 28: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 59:39Speaker 28: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 59:42Speaker 28: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 59:45Speaker 28: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 59:48Speaker 28: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back

- 1:01:12Speaker 2: a chat. This this is the sports Shock Ship with
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Wayne Danty.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: You Bill began, do me up?
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Can you put me down against you? Won't frank me down?
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Dot com to fun, comes to Cote, get it comes

- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it big again.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna go on the way Pill Vegan tell me
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: welcome back to this what shock Show.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: I'm in the wort shock Wayne Candy, good morning telling
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: you with this draft Thursday for the n f L
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: Draft having happening the night the Titans are on the clock.
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: Comand you Greg wants a running back and Aston Genty
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: to still be around that Kenny is looking to get
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: an old lineman for his Jets, a position that last
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: year they were very weak at and the bad producer.
- 1:02:12Speaker 17: You're looking for? What for the Falcons? We need defense?
- 1:02:18Speaker 17: But man, right now, we just need something just to
- 1:02:22Speaker 17: get us going. I'm just I just so you want
- 1:02:25Speaker 17: you want a defense? I need defense. I mean, we
- 1:02:28Speaker 17: just need defense. I mean our whole drafts this year
- 1:02:30Speaker 17: should be everything that we got. The fifteenth and the
- 1:02:33Speaker 17: forty six, those first two picks should be defensive minded.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: And Matchew Greg One of our loyal listeners, Jared, a
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: Raiders fan out of New York, says, gente is ours
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: Raider Nation.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: Okay, so y'all, I don't know if you knew, y'all. Five,
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: that's that's Jacksonville.
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: So you got the Raiders have the sixth pick, I believe, yeah,
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: six or seven before I think, so there's.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: Six and that's a Raider pick. Running backs like that.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: They known to pick that that. You know, the waste
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: the draft for the running back or something when they
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: need something else.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: Well, why would you say they wasting the draft? Now
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: they picked they don't they don't have a running back.
- 1:03:18Speaker 9: They don't have there they could use one. They could
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: do with the Okay, well.
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: You got Yeah, you got Geno Smith in there, you
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: got Pete Carroll, Pete Carroll loves and you know, running
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: the ball, trying to keep a balanced offense. Sot looked
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: like a guy that can be consistent in between the tackles,
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: keep the chain moving kind of guy to keep Gino
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: Smith out of those third and lungs, because that's your
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: quarterback at least you've imagined for the next two years.
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: It's Gino for the Raiders. They picked them up in
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: the trade right when the trade with the with Seattle
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: signing trade. Yeah, so you want defense, any particular player
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: or you just I.
- 1:03:58Speaker 17: Mean the ones I want, he want, they won't be
- 1:03:59Speaker 17: there by the time. You know, we're not the top ten,
- 1:04:01Speaker 17: but just we need some We need rush in rush.
- 1:04:05Speaker 17: You know, we get Grady's out there, just got Grady
- 1:04:08Speaker 17: just moved on. So we definitely need something to clog
- 1:04:11Speaker 17: the middle. I mean, I mean, we really need something
- 1:04:15Speaker 17: that could clog the middle. I mean it's true nose guard.
- 1:04:19Speaker 17: And I think if we had a real true nose guard,
- 1:04:22Speaker 17: the defensive end plays player. I mean, our defensive ends
- 1:04:25Speaker 17: can be able to help out our cornerbacks to be
- 1:04:28Speaker 17: able to play better defense.
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: Okay, we never got around discussing Harriet Dart, the tennis player.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: About ten days ago, she requested that one of the
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: players she was playing against needed to go put on
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: some deodorant, and people criticized her about that. Should I
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: be able to you come out here smelling all that's
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: a strategy. That's warfare, Kenny, while you're criticizing me, that's
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: war fam sports Josh, Well, I'm not.
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: I'm just I'm saying, kids, tell were playing tennis and
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: I'm so musty that you can smell me from from
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: from your baseline.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: Is that what you're saying.
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: I guess we're in an open air arena and you
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: own some hold on, hold on, big Kenny, playboy, Uh,
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: you're gonna need to go put some deodermant on.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: Nah, I need you to smell this funk that's coming
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: with this power serve.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: That's I mean, that's some really powerful powerful or one
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: of us has some overpowering senses.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: My sense of smell either distracting because that the who
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: she was saying that to, like she lost to them.
- 1:05:49Speaker 17: Well, we'll see I can say this and this like
- 1:05:51Speaker 17: in a test, sports jock, possibly can a test for me.
- 1:05:56Speaker 17: I've had kids officiating. I've had kids tell me they
- 1:06:01Speaker 17: ain't putting on DLRN. That's part of their strategy.
- 1:06:03Speaker 19: You know.
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: Somebody don't want to body up against some they don't
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: want to rup.
- 1:06:06Speaker 17: You stink, you know if you especially in this woman her,
- 1:06:09Speaker 17: she's so worried about the smell and the stink. She
- 1:06:12Speaker 17: forgot to be an athlete and just forgot that she
- 1:06:16Speaker 17: was playing a match to move forward.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: So a lot of times that's uh, well, she gagsmanship.
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: Harriet did apologize after asking the chair umpire to tell
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: her opponent to put on deodorant because she smells bad.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: I don't know which way I have played against guys
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: that you you know, when I when I was young
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: NFL player, those guys used to use that tactic. A
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: couple of de tackles intentionally would not put on deodorant
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: when they came out to play, and you get that
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: sweat jammed up on you and it flings in your face.
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: I guess my point is, but does Harriet have the
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: right to go to the chair umpire well, and and
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: once she did it, why is she apologizing? I'm apologizing,
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: but they had social media that she so so you
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: mad at me because she don't bathe. All I did
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: was make the excuse me, sir, But you got something
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: in the corner of your eye.
- 1:07:22Speaker 17: But if somebody come to you and say, hey, mister Reff,
- 1:07:25Speaker 17: they little funk, I can't do nothing.
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: I mean, but that's his coach.
- 1:07:32Speaker 28: His coach.
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: The coach ain't told him to put none on. I
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: can't tell her. Did you catch a shuttle over here?
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: What I'm saying, he was around other people. You knew
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: this was play day, you knew you were coming here,
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: and you neglected to bathe. I just noticed it. Maybe
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: I'm courageous. How come people don't see it like that anymore.
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: You want to help, I'm just trying to help out
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: trying to I'm just trying to help, that's all I mean.
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: That's a strategy. She did apologize, So I guess everything.
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: Why excuse me, sports jock, Amen, you need a piece
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: of gum?
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: Well see, you know me like that.
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: But as a as a stranger, you don't go to
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: a stranger at and y'all standing there waiting in line
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: somewhere for something, and no, but we're on it. We're
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: having a debate, and you really hurting me right now
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: with this this garlic and pesto. Well, I was in
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: that situation having a meeting with someone and their breath
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: was a little tart, and I.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: Didn't know what.
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: I don't know what to do, and I don't know
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: what to do the next time I encountered a person either,
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: And I'm hoping maybe down the road, or maybe it
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: was a one off because I don't know the person,
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: so maybe it was just a one off. Right, well,
- 1:09:02Speaker 7: I don't know them enough to know if this is
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: their you there norm well see, and this is the thing.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: There have been situations where maybe I have something on
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: my face, something in my teeth, and I've been around
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: people that didn't mention it, maybe because they felt like
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: they didn't know me well enough. And then when I
- 1:09:19Speaker 8: saw the debris in my teeth or saw something on
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: my face, I thought these people had me out here,
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: like what kind of savage lets you walk around with
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: crust in the corner of your eye this big?
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: That's ever say anything?
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: And so I thought it would be more polite to go,
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: excuse me, sir, come here for a second. Look brown, yeah, way,
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: I mean, you need to stick a gun and you
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: overhear that, and now I got to apologize to you
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: for trying to help you.
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: So what do you do when a man has something
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: on their face? Do you help them get it off?
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: Depending on the man? Okay, yes, depending on well, yeah,
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: depending on the man. Whoever it is, same with you, comanchi,
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: depending on the man. Now who does the man have
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: to be? And don't say your son? Oh that was

- 1:18:45Speaker 8: Okay, Malania, Yeah, what I said, I'm sure you stay
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: up later than he does. Yeah, I'm sure you still
- 1:18:54Speaker 8: be up trying to catch the third game. You know
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: what I'm saying.
- 1:18:58Speaker 5: He didn't. He's sleep through the middle of the first game.
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: No President, he don't do no sleeping President. President.

- 1:19:15Speaker 8: two a m. What are you talking about? I gotta
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: get up. We started bombing China like in the middle
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: of the night.
- 1:19:20Speaker 17: So he will play more golf than sleeping. I think
- 1:19:23Speaker 17: he will be on the golf course more to sleep.
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: Well, I guarantee you what he ain't doing.
- 1:19:28Speaker 8: W w E.
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: Superstar and TV done a lot of TV good work
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: too as well. John Cena has revealed that he got
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: a hair transplant surgery.
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: He says a lot of people was bullying him online
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: about his ball spot. He did like a royal rumbo.
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: Do we still do that? I thought we was like
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: over that joke ran its course, it still happens. I'll
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: tell you this.
- 1:20:04Speaker 8: No no no, no, no no no no. You say
- 1:20:08Speaker 8: that as a man who can grow hair, yeah, it
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: still can. Never high faith you think that high faide,
- 1:20:15Speaker 8: not the low. Two things that I didn't that I
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: didn't give any empathy to before, but now I'm much
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: more aware of is. I've never felt pressure or understood
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: the wanting to saw your shins in half to add
- 1:20:30Speaker 8: two inches to be taller, because I've never been a
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: short person. And I've never understood hair transplant surgery because
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: I've never struggled to grow hair. People who live with
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: that see that as the deterrent to why they're not
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: where they think they should be in life.
- 1:20:47Speaker 7: So people like him, you would make forty, yeah, you
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: would think they just let it go. If I look
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: at mid fort you're past the window of king whether
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: you bald her you, you would think you would think
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: I get, I get mid early twenty, late twenty baldness.
- 1:21:09Speaker 7: I don't get. I'm almost fifty and I care. What
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: do you think I'm ballering? I would imagine you saw
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: it with Brian Urlacker.
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: Yeah, all this whole career, whole career, and then he
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: got a whole Hall of Fame. Good ahead of hair.
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: This man got he got some, he got some. Man
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: going on back to sports. Jock should after this Lebron
- 1:21:29Speaker 8: James Day, I didn't won't say that.
- 1:21:33Speaker 28: Red hot, That's what I'm Yeah, come give me something
- 1:21:37Speaker 28: I can feel.
- 1:21:46Speaker 12: Jn't go Awayne Born of the Sports Josh Hill with
- 1:21:49Speaker 12: Wayne gam videos coming up next.
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: Hurting the game.
- 1:21:53Speaker 21: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on, feeling down.
- 1:21:58Speaker 21: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:22:02Speaker 21: times when bootstraps aren't enough. When stress gets to us
- 1:22:06Speaker 21: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:22:08Speaker 21: really going through. So we're going to reach out because
- 1:22:11Speaker 21: sometimes mental health is not a one person job.

- 1:23:25Speaker 1: practice yoga. My dad's going to a club, but not
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: a book club, a salsa club. Finding new hobbies comes
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: with age.
- 1:23:32Speaker 23: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where
- 1:23:35Speaker 23: she's going.
- 1:23:36Speaker 24: Becoming lost or disoriented doesn't Confusion with time or place

- 1:24:19Speaker 4: Oh yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Wait a minute, giddy, how you live it?
- 1:24:32Speaker 30: Ten toes in when we're standing there on Benny's My
- 1:24:35Speaker 30: mid step Ball.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: Welcome back to the spot Shock Show. I'm the spot Shock,
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: Wayne and Kandy. One of the biggest storylines of the week,
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: other than the tariffs in the stock market. Of the
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: last couple of weeks, uh, the Shannon Sharp situation has
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: played a role in all level of TV reporting, media, sports, media,
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: you name it. This story has found its way in
- 1:25:11Speaker 7: Shannon Sharp once again, similar to how we talked about
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: Jahn Moran, Anthony Edwards has.
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: Had a.
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: Very i would say notorious couple of years here. We've
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: talked about several issues with Shannon from his show Say
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: Shay to back when he was with the guy that
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: he used to scream at all the time Skip no problem,
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: no problem, How that worked out, and then he went
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: on to doing his own podcast and now over I
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: think I was he's been about a full year, right,
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: he's been with ESPN something like that. And now another
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: sexual story. I think this is about the third one
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: in the last year year and a half something to
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: do with Shannon Sharp and a sexual angle has brought itself,
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: this time alleging rape. Shannon Sharp the Hall of Famer,
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: one of the best that ever play tight in ushered
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: in the new tight end, two different styles, and a
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: lot of times you just don't realize that the team
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: keeps the two different styles. One of the tight ends
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: is more for catching, one is more for blocking. And
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: Shannon brought in that first era of the danger vertical, speedy,
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: almost tweener, big enough to kind of fall in the
- 1:26:59Speaker 7: tight end, but really more of what we would call
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: a big receiver. And now he's so common that everybody's
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: looking for that height. You've seen so many teams college
- 1:27:14Speaker 7: and in the pro level even go find college basketball
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: power forwards and put them at tight end with the
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: rude Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates, even the guy that was
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: here for US in Atlanta, here, Kansas.
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: City, Gonzales.
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: All these guys are really basketball players, and it's a
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: lot of guys that get considered. You look for that frame,
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: good hands, if you can play basketball power forward, typically
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: you're around six six six', five you're a little more,
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: sturdy and they just put you at tight. End some
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: of the rude changes about how the safeties and linebackers
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: can hit you also help out so you didn't have
- 1:28:01Speaker 7: to worry About, OH i don't have a lot of. Experience,
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: well the collisions aren't as impactful as they once, were
- 1:28:10Speaker 7: where you had to have that fear of. Trying and
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: Now shannon with these rape, allegations and you, know several, friends,
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: texts calls family anywhere you just be sitting if they
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: think you play, ball or if the story is popped
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: up on THE tv while you're sitting, waiting it just
- 1:28:33Speaker 7: comes up About Shannon sharp in your opinion and my
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: thing With, shannon it's just a bad. Optic how far
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: of the rape allegations are. True we have to wait
- 1:28:49Speaker 7: to see what we do. Know is AS i said earlier,
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: nineteen An instagram model.
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: Red.
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: Flag when you're fifty, six fifty seven years old Nineteen
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: instagram model and you twenty, two it's still a red.
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: Flag you it's still a red, flag but you can.
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: Recover you're in the vein of that. Person still a
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: red flag, Though no what you're in the vein now
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: because you're Probably instagram.
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: Too, yeah you're probably, saying probably the one that's paying.
- 1:29:29Speaker 8: A dollar a day to see, her to see, her,
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: right so your expectations of what she brings to the
- 1:29:37Speaker 8: table aren't elevated at. All you know this is Going
- 1:29:40Speaker 8: you know this gonna be even. Swap that's not supposed
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: to be a, swindle correct, You? Shannon you done went
- 1:29:47Speaker 8: in there with your uncle, sensibilities you trying to treat
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: her like a.
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: Person now you fast forward a year and a, half
- 1:29:54Speaker 7: two years, later you have a young lady that's twenty
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: one saying there's different times that she felt, intimidated retting
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: she has information bad.
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: Producer your lawyers.
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: Have put, out at least from what we, see were
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: you at some point maybe offered her some, money which
- 1:30:09Speaker 7: does not show kindness to you at, all because it
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: kind of almost validates whatever she was going to. Say
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: you were trying to keep away from the, public and
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: you're becoming a usual? Suspect CAN i use that term
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: in this? Case in these kind of and we've talked about,
- 1:30:35Speaker 7: it these guys going on these shows and how did
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: Even monday we were talking About dion and how did?
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: You how do you get on some of these? Subjects
- 1:30:45Speaker 7: and in the position you just being d on prime
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: time and you hosting the show and y'all get on these?
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: Subjects is one? Thing you adding THAT i am the
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: head coach AND ceo basically Of. Colorado THEN i just
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: don't See Josh heipel on some show In nashville telling two, ladies,
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: yeah you, know the head coach Of tennessee.
- 1:31:15Speaker 8: Without any kind of, Repercussion, like, Yeah i'll tell y'all
- 1:31:19Speaker 8: something we need to work on our three seven spread.
- 1:31:22Speaker 8: Defense but another, NOTE i ain't never touched myself cause
- 1:31:27Speaker 8: SEE i don't be touching.
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: MYSELF i ain't never had to touch. Myself, YEAH i
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: don't think that is what goes. Along But beyond has
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: so bad. PRODUCED i know this is your, Boy Shay.
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: Shay you watch this, show you watch the one with
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: him In. Oho it's your. Wheelhouse so we're gonna give
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: you the.
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: Flow. First, WELL i think she's only. Fans is one
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: of the things too that she was.
- 1:31:50Speaker 29: On and.
- 1:31:53Speaker 17: My thing of it is it's, like oh, man you
- 1:31:58Speaker 17: want to think it's a money, gram but cause of
- 1:32:00Speaker 17: who the lawyer that's, involved because that same lawyer went
- 1:32:03Speaker 17: after JAY z and JAY z shot him, down and
- 1:32:05Speaker 17: you're hoping that this is just it's one of those,
- 1:32:08Speaker 17: things it's a money.
- 1:32:09Speaker 5: Grab but then now you're starting to see she's released some.
- 1:32:12Speaker 17: Messages his people release the messages and they just show
- 1:32:15Speaker 17: where he offered her ten million, dollars and it comes
- 1:32:19Speaker 17: back to you, know now you're starting to see what
- 1:32:21Speaker 17: these clips where Kat williams is telling, him you, know
- 1:32:23Speaker 17: you can be the, man but in two weekends you
- 1:32:25Speaker 17: can be. Gone and then you see Where monique was telling, Them,
- 1:32:29Speaker 17: shannon you need to chill out and get you an
- 1:32:30Speaker 17: older woman and stop messing with the young.
- 1:32:32Speaker 5: Women he's, like, NAH i Like i'm.
- 1:32:33Speaker 17: YOUNG i Like i'm, young and like you said when
- 1:32:37Speaker 17: you're on the on there With, oho and it could
- 1:32:40Speaker 17: be for content that you're acting like, that but now
- 1:32:43Speaker 17: it's starting to look, like, dude you really are after
- 1:32:46Speaker 17: them girls like that and them young.
- 1:32:48Speaker 5: Ones and and then.
- 1:32:50Speaker 17: There's some people saying that he's doing this to try
- 1:32:52Speaker 17: to cover up the fact that it's still because of
- 1:32:53Speaker 17: the fact his assistant that he was hanging out with
- 1:32:57Speaker 17: and some of the things he's. Doing they saying he's
- 1:33:00Speaker 17: maybe trying to cover up some that he might not
- 1:33:03Speaker 17: really is that lady killer like he.
- 1:33:07Speaker 5: Is so it's a whole lot of mess right now For.
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: Shannon Uh.
- 1:33:13Speaker 9: It THE i guess the conversation That i've seen a
- 1:33:18Speaker 9: lot is is this what's the line between like creepy
- 1:33:25Speaker 9: and and this is okay just because, like well she's of,
- 1:33:32Speaker 9: Age like, no there's still it's still is kind of,
- 1:33:35Speaker 9: weird you, know because she was born this century and
- 1:33:39Speaker 9: he was retired by.
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: Then you, know so.
- 1:33:46Speaker 9: HE'S i think he's he's using his he's using his
- 1:33:51Speaker 9: celebrity in this in this way, too uh to do
- 1:33:55Speaker 9: these things under the table or or or. Whatever and
- 1:33:59Speaker 9: it just looks bad that this it's all in, excess
- 1:34:04Speaker 9: like he's. Been he's the fame has shot, up especially
- 1:34:07Speaker 9: in the last year and a half that it's it's
- 1:34:12Speaker 9: gotten out of control at this.
- 1:34:14Speaker 5: Point so you think that he wasn't having women at
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: him like. THAT i made the.

- 1:34:51Speaker 17: And he puts it out there that's ALL i was gonna,
- 1:34:54Speaker 17: say he puts it out, there Unlike Bill, belichick who
- 1:34:58Speaker 17: we're not going to.

- 1:36:14Speaker 8: wrong we like to take a moral high. Ground we
- 1:36:19Speaker 8: talk sometimes about how the law is the. Law if
- 1:36:22Speaker 8: the law says that at nineteen she is of the
- 1:36:25Speaker 8: age of, consent then that is that age to drink
- 1:36:29Speaker 8: is a different. Thing but if she's an, adult that
- 1:36:33Speaker 8: is consenting to adult actions and the two of them
- 1:36:36Speaker 8: are in mutual, agreement all we doing is judging right,
- 1:36:40Speaker 8: now if they was cool with. It now she's saying
- 1:36:42Speaker 8: that there were times she. Wasn't my problem with that
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: comes with a lot of this. Stuff so you're gonna
- 1:36:47Speaker 8: tell me he did this in the seventies and it's
- 1:36:50Speaker 8: twenty twenty, three you.
- 1:36:51Speaker 14: Know WHAT i?

- 1:41:06Speaker 7: were talking about Club Shay shay Oh, Man Shannon. Sharp
- 1:41:10Speaker 7: is the damage, done? Gentlemen uh, yeah, Yeah well see
- 1:41:16Speaker 7: this is the. THING i think that the erosion of
- 1:41:20Speaker 7: his reputation has been in play for some. Time some
- 1:41:24Speaker 7: of his antics have seen so Beneath shannon from what
- 1:41:29Speaker 7: we had seen of him, before who he had established
- 1:41:32Speaker 7: himself as, before some of his credibility has been. Eroding
- 1:41:37Speaker 7: and now this is the final shoe that has, dropped
- 1:41:41Speaker 7: and it doesn't leave him room for. All, Man shannon ain't,
- 1:41:44Speaker 7: dead nothing like, that because usually that's where fans, go,
- 1:41:48Speaker 7: oh not, Mine. Shannon he would Never but now this
- 1:41:52Speaker 7: comes out and people, go, AH i kind of see,
- 1:41:54Speaker 7: It SO i believe the damage is. Done commands, You,
- 1:41:57Speaker 7: greg how much does the, clips even the as the
- 1:42:02Speaker 7: bad producer alluded, to you have clips where two or
- 1:42:07Speaker 7: three people are sitting there Advising shannon years back to you,
- 1:42:14Speaker 7: know maybe get away from these type. Situations how much
- 1:42:19Speaker 7: does that hurt?
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: Him?
- 1:42:20Speaker 9: Uh, well it, yeah it hurts because it will show That,
- 1:42:24Speaker 9: okay this is this is advice that he didn't take
- 1:42:28Speaker 9: and and before and this is this MAY i don't
- 1:42:30Speaker 9: know if it'll be looked as the last, straw but
- 1:42:32Speaker 9: it's basically it's it is devastating because, previously, okay The instagram, Video,
- 1:42:37Speaker 9: okay look that's that's an. Accident some of the stuff
- 1:42:40Speaker 9: he says on The nightcap, Show, okay that's a that's
- 1:42:43Speaker 9: a little risk. Gay but it's it's not like it's
- 1:42:46Speaker 9: it's that's not it's not a show for. Children AND
- 1:42:49Speaker 9: i think, now when it comes to a led sexual,
- 1:42:53Speaker 9: assault that is always going to be taken, seriously and
- 1:42:57Speaker 9: with a company LIKE espn would is Under, Disney, uh
- 1:43:02Speaker 9: they're going to take this. Seriously and it may just
- 1:43:05Speaker 9: be enough that the allegations are enough to let him.
- 1:43:08Speaker 7: Go and how much does this affect his ability to
- 1:43:15Speaker 7: work with other people right?
- 1:43:17Speaker 5: NOW i, MEAN i don't think it affects his work
- 1:43:21Speaker 5: or his working with.
- 1:43:22Speaker 17: OTHERS i think it's more so more or less of
- 1:43:25Speaker 17: if he's gonna be available to work with, us because
- 1:43:28Speaker 17: you don't, know LIKE i, said if he's gonna get,
- 1:43:30Speaker 17: terminated if he's gonna let.
- 1:43:31Speaker 24: Go.

- 1:44:20Speaker 5: got me with that. One.
- 1:44:21Speaker 17: NOW i gotta check my schedule because BUT i don't
- 1:44:24Speaker 17: think it's really it's going to affect the.
- 1:44:29Speaker 5: Too much right.
- 1:44:29Speaker 17: Now until it's final and we know what's happening and
- 1:44:34Speaker 17: it's for, IT i think people still will go on that.
- 1:44:36Speaker 5: Platform, no, no, no no. No see, see this is
- 1:44:38Speaker 5: What i'm, saying.
- 1:44:39Speaker 8: Bapparatus you got to understand when we start talking about
- 1:44:42Speaker 8: things like crimes like sexual, assault we get back to
- 1:44:48Speaker 8: sensibilities like you're judged by the. Company you keep me
- 1:44:52Speaker 8: coming on your. Platform is somehow me signing off on
- 1:44:56Speaker 8: being okay with old creepy men sexually assaulting eighteen year

- 1:45:07Speaker 5: You that's the.
- 1:45:08Speaker 8: Perception but, no, no, no, no no no. No And i'm,
- 1:45:10Speaker 8: saying we're talking about the court of public. Opinion this
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: is all that. Matters when we're in this. Arena the
- 1:45:17Speaker 8: media covers the negative effect of this on his career
- 1:45:21Speaker 8: and his. PLATFORM i don't want to be sitting next
- 1:45:24Speaker 8: to the creepy old uncle, dude not just days after.
- 1:45:28Speaker 5: This, no nobody wants to go on that show and
- 1:45:31Speaker 5: then not be angry with.
- 1:45:33Speaker 8: Him you because when you go on the, show you're
- 1:45:36Speaker 8: going on as somebody friendly to the. Host what you
- 1:45:40Speaker 8: gonna go in there and get into it with him
- 1:45:42Speaker 8: about his outside his job.
- 1:45:44Speaker 17: ACTIONS i just, WELL i mean, Well monique and several
- 1:45:47Speaker 17: others have approached him about how he carries. Himself they've
- 1:45:50Speaker 17: tried to you, know it's been an open and he
- 1:45:52Speaker 17: sat there and open up and he's talked to him
- 1:45:54Speaker 17: and admitted to these different. Things so that's WHY i
- 1:45:57Speaker 17: say it's right. Now we just got to see how
- 1:45:59Speaker 17: this place's course is still like it's a.
- 1:46:01Speaker 7: Lot when when In america do we do? That we
- 1:46:06Speaker 7: all live in the court of public. Opinion monique has
- 1:46:11Speaker 7: had her own.
- 1:46:11Speaker 5: Guilty i'm guilty or not.
- 1:46:13Speaker 7: Guilty people still handle people the same Way Kevin spacey
- 1:46:17Speaker 7: was found not. Guilty not get, Still he's still standing
