- 2:37appreciate it. All right, y'all, Well, let's go ahead and get
- 2:40this show started, okay, because we have so much to talk about today.
- 2:45And I was about a minute late because I got carried away talking to
- 2:47John backstage. There are legends and sightings of blackford, red eyed, vicious
- 2:53beasts that lurk around graveyards and cemeteries, seemingly guarding the underworld. They are
- 3:00associated with places where executions are particularly violent, murders have taken place, and
- 3:06whenever they appear. They're usually said to be an omen of death. Tells
- 3:09of hell hounds go back to at least the eleven I guess around eleven twenty
- 3:14seven a d in literature, and stories of them exist to this day,
- 3:20alongside sightings of dog men in werewolf light creatures across the world, particularly in
- 3:25the US and in Europe. We're going to be discussing hellhounds and dog men
- 3:30today. And to help me go over all this, we have John Vendaventer
- 3:37here. John is a sixteen year veteran of the United States Air Force.
- 3:42His first novel, Relics, was published in twenty seventeen, after he spent
- 3:45a little over two years writing in the novel, writing the novel and researching
- 3:49the topic of Sasquatch as he wrote. In twenty eighteen, he and his
- 3:53wife moved to Honobi, Oklahoma, in the heart of Oklahoma Sasquatch Country.
- 3:58He's been a guest speaker at Hanobia Big Hanobi Bigfoot Festival in twenty eighteen,
- 4:03and served as an MC for the twenty twenty one and twenty twenty two festival.
- 4:10Let's See. He's now completed two complete series Relics fiction adult series in
- 4:15the Shadow Chasers young adult fiction series. And he has retired, which is
- 4:19a loaded word, retired, and he is now. He's just released his
- 4:25new book, the Channeling of his new series net Fall. Okay, and
- 4:30I just got my copy of his book yesterday. I cannot wait to get
- 4:33into this. Please help me. Welcome to the show, my friend,
- 4:38John Bendaventer. I am, how are you hey? I just wanted to
- 4:44share my glitchen and matrix. So that's my that's my iPhone tripod. So
- 4:49if he ended up with a shot of my carpet, it's because I breathe
- 4:53too hard or something and knock my phone off the pencil box that's holding it.
- 4:58Oh my gosh. There's always glitch. You know. We didn't have
- 5:00a technical glitch, but you had. You had a three D glitch over
- 5:03there today. So we always the show must go on, and we always
- 5:11make it work, don't we. There you go, we do. We're
- 5:15troopers over here. Yeah. Well, John, thank you so much.
- 5:17I got your book and I cannot wait to read it. Tell us before
- 5:23we get started, tell us a little bit about your new book that just
- 5:25came out. Okay, it's a it was meant to be a standalone.
- 5:29I wanted to do a standalone UFO type deal, and as I started writing
- 5:34it, I thought, man, there's so much to add to this.
- 5:36I'm probably going to make it a trilogy. And as I continued writing,
- 5:42I was thinking, well, I'm man, I sure could use that character
- 5:45from Relics and this and that. So actually it's kind of a companion to
- 5:48Relics and even the Shadow Chasers trilogy because Shadow Chasers took place in twenty fifteen
- 5:57twenty fourteen. Well it's twenty twenty five in this novel, so those kids
- 6:01have all grown up and I'm finding places for them in the next series.
- 6:05So it's, uh, it's gonna be a UFO alien encounter engaging thing with
- 6:12a twist. I don't want to give anything away, but it's looking at
- 6:16it from a different perspective and it's a different threat. We'll just put it
- 6:21that way. Another threat. There's always a Threatris, Well, you got
- 6:27to have something threatening to make it in you know. Yeah, it sounds
- 6:30like modern day. It sounds like modern day. There's always a threat,
- 6:33you know. Yeah, if I get really bored, I just don't pay
- 6:35the electric bill for a while and see how long I can grow. You
- 6:39know, I need attention. You live on the edge man like Actilia.
- 6:46Well, you know, with things that are going on in the world right
- 6:49now. I mean, we've got aliens coming out of portals in a mall
- 6:54down in Miami, and uh you know, we got cern being cut on
- 6:58timeline shifts and Mandela effects, and we have dog Man reports, we have
- 7:05dog Man. We have an uptick in a lot of cryptid sightings too.
- 7:09Now you live over near O, Nubby. If I'm finally saying that right,
- 7:13I think, Nubby, we're in Oklahoma. That is Sasquatch country out
- 7:17there. Uh so, do you have you guys had any more or any
- 7:21heard of any sightings lately or anything. Nothing In a couple of years now,
- 7:28it's been real quiet. You know, I'm wondering if they're there,
- 7:33if things like the logging affects them, because you know, there's a big
- 7:39timber industry here in these Kaimichi mountains, and yes, Oklahoma does have mountains
- 7:46in the southeast corner. And it's been really quiet. I haven't heard,
- 7:50you know, anything, nobody havn't any sounds or encounters or anything like that
- 7:58for the past couple of years. I'd say two years. It's been quiet
- 8:03awesome. Well, you know, there'll be another uptick ebbs and flows with
- 8:07all like all things. And you know, I've been getting out for the
- 8:11past two weekends. Now, I've gotten out with my well, I went
- 8:13up with my son. Actually I took him out into the woods on two
- 8:16different locations. One was the meadow and then the other one was down at
- 8:22the Troop Heard corridor. So we've been out bigfooting and going places where we've
- 8:26had dog man reports excuse me, dog man sightings. I have not cited
- 8:31a dog man yet. Okay, Uh, somebody did make a comment on
- 8:35one of my posts I posted we found we came across an abandoned house,
- 8:39like an old, dilapidated old home, and it was full of stuff.
- 8:43It looked like maybe some squatters have been living there, or maybe some hunters
- 8:48have been using it as a blind. I don't know. But somebody made
- 8:52a comment that it looked like a wind to Go shack. So I mean,
- 8:56I've never come across the wind to Go. That's another crew that I
- 9:00have not really dived into yet. But like more towards Canada, that's like
- 9:05a it's a Native American kind of cryptid? Is it not spiritual thing?
- 9:11Maybe? Yeah, it's some kind of walking zombie like not like what's the
- 9:16other thing of skin walker? It's kind of a verd Is it like a
- 9:22virgin of the skin walker? I think? Isn't it kind of is?
- 9:26Yeah? Excuse me, Well, this happens every time I go live.
- 9:33I don't know, I name my cob dropsyeall, yeah it is. It's
- 9:37like it's like a skeleton. Okay, it's like a zombie skeleton. And
- 9:41I don't I don't know. I don't know. Well I have to look
- 9:43into that in the future, because today we're looking into something that I have
- 9:46never done a show on before, and that's hell hounds. And I guess
- 9:50y'all everybody in the audience can probably tell I actually wrote it. I wrote
- 9:54it wrong. I wrote hell hounds like two words and it's actually one word.
- 9:58And I just I just caught that this morning, Okay, so I
- 10:00went back and changed that all over. So you know, what is the
- 10:05difference between a hell hound and a dog man? Well, you know,
- 10:11dog Man's like it's supposedly encrypted hellhounds. That legend goes back to the ancient
- 10:16Greeks, and it's pretty much what you would think of like a guardian to
- 10:22the gates of Hell. I don't know it's keeping you out or keeping you
- 10:26in, but you know they're they're in Greek mythology, Norse, Northern Europe,
- 10:33Asia, India, similar creatures or creatures that do the same basic things.
- 10:39You know, it's been it's been talked about. It's a legend spans
- 10:43the world and through all, you know, through all the civilization. It
- 10:46seems since you know, since civilization became aware of, you know, and
- 10:52talked about like the spiritual side or the presence of a heaven or hell,
- 10:56they seem to have been around. I know in the eleven twelfth century in
- 11:01England there was a lot of reports people walking around at night with might encounter
- 11:07one on a road or a trail. And I remember as a kid,
- 11:09you know, I would read things, paranormal stuff, and I remember stories
- 11:13about hell hounds in England being reported. Now, I was there three years
- 11:18and I never saw one of three years I was there. But I don't
- 11:22know if anybody's ever seen the old Sherlock Holmes movie hown do the Baskerville's.
- 11:28I think that was based supposedly based on a hell lound. Oh yeah,
- 11:33you know when I was when I was going through some information about hellhounds,
- 11:37I started thinking about that movie that I watched when I was a kid that
- 11:41was pretty terrifying to me. It was called Kudo. Do you remember that.
- 11:46Yeah, he was a hell lound for sure, I think so.
- 11:50I. Actually, I don't know if you weren't born and you know,
- 11:54there's a lot of people that watch my show that are a lot younger than
- 11:56me. If you were a kid of the nineteen eighties, this was a
- 12:00This was a really cool movie. Actually, but it was like, here,
- 12:01this is a real dog man right here, right here, just kidding.
- 12:05This is the guy I guess, I guess he dressed I have to
- 12:07put. Yeah, this was great. But yeah, this was a movie.
- 12:13I think Stephen King wrote this movie from the book actually yeah, and
- 12:18that that dog actually it's not an actual hellhound that that guards the gates of
- 12:22Hell, but it it had rabies. Okay. It was almost like a
- 12:26story about you better get your dog vaccinated or else. Okay. You know
- 12:31an old book by Whitley Streever. It's a novel called The Wolfing and it's
- 12:37kind of kind of like kind of a hell hound story, but it takes
- 12:39place in Manhattan, and I remember reading it in the early eighties and it's
- 12:46a really good book. I think they made a movie out of that.
- 12:48But if somebody's looking for a good kind of hellhound werewolf kind of thing,
- 12:52find The Wolf In and read it. It's really good. Oh yeah,
- 12:56I have to check that out, you know, because we have a whole
- 13:00lot of movies that are made about were wolves, like The Howling and I
- 13:03mean we even watched Michael Jackson transform into a were wolf during his his video
- 13:09thriller. Okay, where wolves just have a place in you know, pop
- 13:13culture, I guess in a way. But yeah, Kudo was scary.
- 13:18Who would have thought that Saint Bernard could be so scary? Okay, but
- 13:22they are. But okay, but I have not really seen a whole lot
- 13:26of movies about hellhounds, and hellhounds are portrayed as having like three headed dogs
- 13:31and things like that. Uh So I figured maybe we'll kind of go through
- 13:35a little bit of the information about hellhounds and then we're kind of going to
- 13:39tie in some dog men to it, and some stories and some actual sightings
- 13:43of dog men, and how they're they're so close in nature, and how
- 13:46they're different as well. So so yeah, because I loved looking into hellhounds.
- 13:52I had never even I've never done this before. A good example of
- 13:56a hellhound might be the old movie Ghostbusters, remember too, dogs of Yes,
- 14:01I think the kind of gargoyle, but very doglike if they were gargoyles.
- 14:09Yes, oh yeah, I remember that for sure. I love me
- 14:11a good gargoyle too, and I'll love me a Ghostbuster movie. Okay.
- 14:16So there are different types of hellhounds, John, Uh, it's a broad
- 14:20term that covers kind of two groups of dogs, and one being the literal
- 14:24hellhounds, which are actually from Greek mythology that standguard of the underworld. Now,
- 14:30when I think of a dog that guards the underworld, I think of
- 14:33Anubis, and and I know Anubis was a jackal. We've established that Anubis
- 14:39was a jackal. But he looks like a dog, okay, and so
- 14:41most people think that he's a dog. But there's also something called the black
- 14:46dog. Okay, this is another another type of a hell hound. And
- 14:52uh, and so and a lot of times when we hear about a dog
- 14:56man, we hear that they're either gray or black. Almost every single one
- 15:00of them are black or gray, like super dark. So, but they're
- 15:05terrifying and benevolent. Uh. They're associated with cemeteries, graveyards, and places
- 15:09where executions or particularly violent murders have taken place, and when they appear,
- 15:16they're said to be an omen of death. Okay, So, so you
- 15:20don't really want to run into a hell hound, John. And when I
- 15:24when I thought of a hell hand before, I was thinking it was like
- 15:26a phantom. Maybe not not solid three D form, you know, like
- 15:31flesh and bone. But but it sounds as though when people see them,
- 15:37they actually are in the three dimensions, the third dimension right here with us.
- 15:41They're not. They're not like ghost dogs. These are actual flesh and
- 15:43bone types of creatures. So yeah, So anyway, so you said you
- 15:52had seen some you knew of some stories of black dogs. This is the
- 15:58thing, and especially in the UK. Okay, I've seen Jeb in the
- 16:02chat. There's several people from the UK in the chat today. Hey,
- 16:04y'all, they probably know a little something about these black dogs. You know,
- 16:10I can't I remember reading stories about them when I was younger, but
- 16:14I don't remember them ever really posing a threat to the witness. And I
- 16:18don't know if it was like a like it was bad luck or a bad
- 16:23omen if you saw one or came in contact with one, like something bad
- 16:29was about to happen in your future. But I don't recall anyone ever being
- 16:33attacked by one. But you know, that was probably at least fifty years
- 16:37ago I was reading about those. Oh yeah, okay, Well, you
- 16:42know I always felt bad for black black dogs when you go to a shelter
- 16:48A lot of time in case, see, we got black cats, and
- 16:51black dogs and black cats a lot of times are associated with bad omens,
- 16:56right, and like bad luck. I think they're good luck. I think
- 16:59black cats are the most beautiful cats. Of course they're they're like familiars,
- 17:03you know. But I remember my mom has a really good friend who used
- 17:07to run the animal shelter in our town, and uh, and they would
- 17:11say that the black dogs would have a harder time getting adopted out, so
- 17:15they would put like bandanas on them and make them look cuter, you know,
- 17:18and to make them more adoptable because they got overlooked. My dog,
- 17:23op, he's a big black dog, and he's just a big lovable slopp
- 17:27because nothing evil about him at all. Yeah, well, I think it
- 17:33has to do something. I mean, I don't know if it's just something
- 17:34that is in the subconscious, maybe about it being a bad omen like a
- 17:38black cat is or what, or maybe maybe this becuse goes back in our
- 17:45genetics, like oh, there's something wrong with the you know, the hill
- 17:48hounds and them being black dogs. To this day, I don't like when
- 17:52a black cat runs in front of the course, you know. But then
- 17:56again, I don't know why that bothers me because I have qualms about Friday
- 18:00the thirteenth. In fact, I usually have a good day on Friday the
- 18:03thirteenth, soum one. The black cat thing gets to me, but it
- 18:08does. I don't like it, you know, always wonder what's gonna happen.
- 18:12Yes, oh my gosh, okay, oh my gosh. J J
- 18:18True Seeker, Oh no, that is scary, he says. Abandoned churches
- 18:22with abandoned cemeteries, you can probably conjure up giant black dogs using Ouiji boards
- 18:29on the tomb sounds. Now, don't be given the audience any ideas,
- 18:32Jay True Seeker. Okay, that's terrible. Don't do that, y'all.
- 18:36I don't. I mean, you can, but I don't. I do,
- 18:37I don't. I don't think that you should. Okay, but yeah,
- 18:42that's that's scary. Okay. So the earliest sighting, I believe either
- 18:47you or I had mentioned. The earliest sighting in literature or reported in writing
- 18:52basically goes back to eleven twenty seven a d. And people were beginning to
- 18:59report groups of hunters. But they weren't exactly earthly hunters. These hunters were
- 19:06black and large and loathly, and their hounds were all black with white eyes,
- 19:11and ugly. They rode with white eyes, and they were ugly beauties
- 19:15in the eye of the beholder, by the way. Okay, but they
- 19:18rode on black horses and on black bucks. This was seen in the very
- 19:23dear part of the town of Petersborough, and in all the woods from the
- 19:27same town of Stanford. Now this isn't out I guess it's in the UK.
- 19:33And the monks there heard blasts of the horns which they blew at night.
- 19:37Now this reminds me of something different. It's called the wild hunt.
- 19:41Okay. Are you familiar with the wild hunt? John? No, I
- 19:45haven't heard of this. Okay, let's see if I can find I think
- 19:49I have a picture of the wild hunt, and this is this is there's
- 19:55almost like a story of the wild hunt and all these different traditions, all
- 19:59these different cultures. So it kind of gives it a little bit of more
- 20:02mystery. I do I think I do have a picture. We had that
- 20:07and pull this up the wild Hunt. Okay, here it is. I
- 20:14have several pictures of the wild hunt, and it kind of reminds me a
- 20:18little bit of Game of Thrones a little bit too. But these are we
- 20:22go find wild hunt. Here we go. Okay. So among some of
- 20:26the different types of hell hounds are those that run with the wild hunt.
- 20:30According to Norse mythology, the wild hunt motif spans the ancient to the modern
- 20:34world, particularly in Northern Europe. It's alternately called the terrifying ride, the
- 20:40raging host, or as gardriya. And you don't want to be around to
- 20:45see this. Anybody who catches a glimpse of this is likely to get swept
- 20:52up by a rider, and if they're fortunate, they'll get dropped off miles
- 20:56and miles and miles down the road. Okay, you don't you know,
- 20:59all these guys coming after you from the sky. That sounds absolutely terrifying.
- 21:03Leaders of the hunt in some areas they say it's Odin, while other it's
- 21:10per Perchasta or Herne the Hunter. And in the Middle Ages it was even
- 21:14said that the hunt was led by King Arthur or Charlemagne. There's just in
- 21:18different areas it's led by different people, but it's usually the Lord of the
- 21:23Dead. His hellhounds were a little different sometimes that they always had hellhounds there,
- 21:30Okay, usually they were they were black. But this person, okay,
- 21:33when the app nud the Lord of the Dead, had white hellhounds with
- 21:41blood red ears, and they anytime if you saw them, they their presence
- 21:45meant imminent doom was coming. Now, was this a literal cloud full of
- 21:52ghosts and the dead and like the grim Reaper looking stuff here? Or was
- 21:56this like a storm, like a literal storm. It's it sounds terrifying.
- 22:03But different cultures talk about this wild hunt, okay, and uh, and
- 22:10I think yes, it is mostly in Europe. Okay, it is totally
- 22:12mostly in Europe. However, this was this goes way back John to that
- 22:18Well, if you're you know you were talking about it. Some believe it's
- 22:22odin. Well that's going to go back to the North Northman in the north,
- 22:26the Vikings, Scandinavia, and of course you know they probably brought their
- 22:30tails to Europe when they came down and rated. So oh yeah, well
- 22:37it's it's a little it's a little terrifying. I do not want to get
- 22:41swept up by it, because if you're if you're lucky, I mean,
- 22:42they usually will make you become a part of their hunt party, which means
- 22:47you're not going to be living in the three D reality anymore. They take
- 22:51your life, okay. Uh And then like I said, if you're lucky,
- 22:55they'll drop you off down the road somewhere. Okay, it's it's gonna
- 22:57be a hard fall though, so make you wonder too. It's a dimensional
- 23:03thing. If it happens and they come, you know, like in a
- 23:07storm, I would think, well, they're crossing over another plane of existence
- 23:11through a dimension, you know. So I think like when you're looking at
- 23:17the hellhounds, we're talking more of a spiritual type being than maybe encryptid like
- 23:22a dog man or something. If you catch where I'm going, I think
- 23:30a dog man's more of an earthbound thing and a hellhound's more of a dimensional
- 23:34thing. Okay, I think I think that's a good thing. You're looking
- 23:37for a difference, and that's just my opinion. So yeah, I think
- 23:41I think you're right on that one for sure. Now let's let's get into
- 23:45this three headed hellhound, okay, because this is I mean, that's a
- 23:49kind of a badass picture right there. I like that. I can see
- 23:53that being a tattoo on somebody, not me though probably not, but I'm
- 23:57just saying that's a cool vigure. Okay. So some said cultures say that
- 24:00hell han hounds either act as spirit guides or take the souls to their their
- 24:08spirit guide that takes the soul of a person to let's just say Hell,
- 24:14okay, take them to Hell. Or they're just guards of the underworld,
- 24:19guards of the underworld. The most famous is Cerebras, the three headed hound
- 24:25of Hades. That's I guess that's who we're looking at right now. Cerebras
- 24:29is that I think that's how you pronounce his name. He was one of
- 24:32the monstrous children of e Aquina. I can't pronounce these names. I'm terrible
- 24:38and type typhon and siblings of hydra and the chimera, which is interesting because
- 24:42we talk about chimeras a lot. Those three heads may not they may have
- 24:48been a more convenient way to depict them in art because some people said this
- 24:51dog had fifty heads, not just three, had fifty, and some had
- 24:56say he had one hundred heads, which is so weird. That'd be a
- 25:00big old dog having all those heads. Actually it could just be like a
- 25:04big body a lot of little, tiny heads. Okay, sorry, I
- 25:08know my imagination runs wild with this stuff. So well, you know,
- 25:12it's not there's a in focal or mythology religions, there's I mean, that's
- 25:22not an uncommon thread. I mean, look, you know, if you
- 25:25know the Bible, one of the one of the uh descriptions of I forgetive
- 25:30is so what type of angel but has four faces? You know, when
- 25:34you're trying to wrap your head around that, and you wonder, well,
- 25:38what did it mean? Four heads or poor faces or so fifty heads could
- 25:45translate to maybe twenty five sets of eyes, maybe not fifty full heads,
- 25:51who knows, you know, Like it's always like you said, it's in
- 25:53the eye of the beholder, and they're they're to describe what they're seeing.
- 26:02You know, fifteen hundred years ago, what they have to base it on
- 26:06on how to describe things is a lot different than what we have today.
- 26:11That's true. And speaking of what we have today, Scott has an interesting
- 26:15comment. I just seen a Scooby Doo cartoon about that dog. Okay,
- 26:18my son on the way to school this morning, was telling me about a
- 26:23cartoon that he saw, and for some reason, a lot of cartoons today
- 26:29involve hell in like it's almost I was like, why where did you see
- 26:33this cartoon? Kid? Okay, but he said that it's really it's like
- 26:37for kids, it's almost like that one about Oh my gosh, I can't
- 26:42remember what it is. It's got a lot of Masonic symbolism and stuff in
- 26:45it. I can't remember the name of these cartoons, but anyways, he
- 26:49said that there's a cartoon about hellhounds. It's about a hell hound and it
- 26:53has to do with a people that are trying to make a vacation spot out
- 26:57of Hell. They're trying to make get into a place that was like heaven,
- 27:00and they had a hellhound that guarded the property. Okay, so my
- 27:04my kid told me he had seen this thing, okay, and I was
- 27:08like, don't watch that again, kid. But but that's but that's they're
- 27:12they're putting this in cartoons today and stuff. So I just I just wanted
- 27:18to point that out. Just wanted to point that out. Okay. So
- 27:23speaking of other cultures too that have hellhounds. Uh. So, Cerebras is
- 27:29not the only hellhound. Okay, it's known about ancient Egyptians had we whip,
- 27:37will wet Okay, we will wet, a wolf god whose name means
- 27:41the opener of ways. He was the one that guided souls on their path
- 27:45through the afterlife, and it was it says he was eventually absorbed into a
- 27:49Nubis and Osiris. Okay. The Aztecs had zolotole I think is how you
- 27:56pronounced that? A dog or dog headed god who carried the son and the
- 28:00human soul. There's Gamar, the Viking age dog no Norse mythology. Uh,
- 28:07he's been who's connected to hell okay and uh. And he's also linked
- 28:14to Finn Rear fin rear and and that's another dog in the underworld. Okay.
- 28:19So we got the Aztecs, We've got the Egyptians, we've got the
- 28:23Vikings, they all have a hellhound in their in their mythology that goes back.
- 28:30So, uh, it's it's not just in Europe. Now, in
- 28:34Europe you mentioned we mentioned the black dogs and uh, and there was a
- 28:37very famous black dog name black Shuck. Have you looked into black Shuck?
- 28:45And are you familiar with that one? John? This is the first Okay,
- 28:51I'm going to see. I think I may have a picture to pull
- 28:52up here. I mean, black Shuck is a pretty popular, pretty popular
- 28:57dog, Okay, black dog. From there here he is on top of
- 29:00a light post or something. It's like it on the top of a weather
- 29:04vein. Okay. And when I was looking at this, it really reminded
- 29:10me a lot of another beast that I've looked into, and that's the Beast
- 29:14of Jev Houdan. Now, this was the Beast of Jev Houdan was actually
- 29:18from let's see, let me get my notes on that, because I did
- 29:22a show on the Bisa Jabudan a long time ago and had been I had
- 29:26remote viewed that as a matter of fact, So the best of jab Houdan
- 29:30between seventeen sixty four and seventeen sixty seven, a creature ravaged the rural region
- 29:37of Javad javadon France. Over one hundred women and men and some people say
- 29:44like three hundred or more and children fell victim to the beast of jab Houdan.
- 29:49They said that it was like a wolf, but it was not a
- 29:53wolf. Okay, it looked like wolf. Some people said that it walked
- 29:56on two hind legs at times. I think what we the conclusion we came
- 30:03to with the data was that it might have been a hyena, a gigantic
- 30:07hyena, or it was a hyena type dog man. And for all my
- 30:12dog man enthusiasts y'all made y'all may be familiar with this hyena type dog man.
- 30:19Uh, this is a I'm showing right now on the screen for people
- 30:22who are listening on podcasts. I'm showing a picture on the screen of the
- 30:26different types of dogmen and there's one that is called the canine variant too,
- 30:30and it looks like a hyena. Now, hyenas are not dogs, Okay,
- 30:34They're actually more related to a cat, I think. But this is
- 30:38a a hyena type and we came to the conclusion that it could have been
- 30:42a hyena type dog man. That was the beast of Javodon, but it
- 30:45could have also just been a gigantic hyena. Right, not to say it's
- 30:51not a hellhound. This this was an actual animal that lived and breathed and
- 30:56it unalived a lot of people, particularly children and women. So not a
- 31:03fun time to be alive during that period at of French rural history. You
- 31:10don't make a good would have made a good Internet search prior to this,
- 31:15I didn't think about it would be looking up pub names in pub signs in
- 31:19England that had to do with a black dog or a hell hound or a
- 31:25black hound. Have you ever? Have you ever looked at pub signs in
- 31:30England? Have you ever? I have not been to England yet, Oh
- 31:34my goodness, while I was there, I was there eighty to eighty three.
- 31:37You would not believe the artwork and the skill that goes into these signs
- 31:41on these pubs. And they'll have a name, and most pubs will have
- 31:47just these beautifully painted signs, you know, depicting you know where, whether
- 31:52it's the red lion or the black hound or the you know, the duck
- 31:56and feather or whatever. But they're just gorgeous and I would you know,
- 32:00I think that would be interesting to look at paranormal themed pub signs in England.
- 32:07See what you came up with. Okay, well, I love a
- 32:09good pub and I love a good brew. Okay, I've got to love
- 32:14a good pint. Okay, I played rugby just like you did. We
- 32:16love a good pint, right there, you go. Okay, Oh my
- 32:21gosh, yeah, I bet so. We have a brown Dog deli okay
- 32:24where I grew up. It's not a black dog though, and that that's
- 32:29something that's out of South Carolina, so I don't think there's a connection.
- 32:34But it's a pub and they got when you read in the Fall, you'll
- 32:37see a bar in there mentioned in Tucson called Bob Dobbs. That was a
- 32:42rugby bar we went to back when I was playing. So you'll you'll get
- 32:45a kick out of that. For I love that. Yes, I love
- 32:51me. Like I said, we're familiar with John. You and I.
- 32:53We both have a lot in common. Okay, bigfoot in rugby and beer.
- 32:58Okay, how'd you get I know? I know? Right? Okay,
- 33:02Well, let's get to black Shuck. Let's go back to Blackshuck a
- 33:05little bit, because Blackshuck is a really cool hell hound, an alleged hell
- 33:10hand and the most famous, most famous hello hound in Britain is black Shuck.
- 33:16They say he's a bar guest, the bar guest. It sounds like
- 33:20a bar guest, so I guess that's how you pronounce it, which is
- 33:22a monstrous dog that only comes out at night, and he's easily recognizable because
- 33:28he only has one eye. Now I can't tell if he's like a Cyclops
- 33:34dog or if he just has one eye on one side of his face.
- 33:37So if anybody in the chat knows, y'all, y'all throw it in the
- 33:39chat, okay, because I didn't. I don't think he's a Cyclops.
- 33:44But it says he had one eye and he has a red eye. So
- 33:47around fifteen seventy seven, that's a long time ago. John black Shuck broke
- 33:53down the doors of two churches, the Holy Trinity Church in Saint Mary's Church,
- 34:00and he ran through the congregations that were gathered there. During the first
- 34:05attack, which led to the collapse of the church's steeple, he reportedly unalived
- 34:09a man and a boy, and the second attack, he made a bee
- 34:13line through the crowd, heading for two people. Who knelt in prayer.
- 34:17They were unalived before they knew what hit them. The sightings have continued for
- 34:22a long time. In eighteen ninety three, a man was driving a car
- 34:27along a lane in Norfolk, a black black lane and Norfolk black dog okay,
- 34:32and this written wrong. Okay, the driver I guess he ran out
- 34:38in front of a car okay, and the driver refused to swerve for him,
- 34:44and they ended up hitting him the car when they hit the dog,
- 34:46the car burst into flames and the dog, the dog was never seen again,
- 34:52but the driver did pass away over that. But that was in eighteen
- 34:55ninety three, so this was like from fifteen seventy, so, I mean,
- 34:58this was for five hundred they've had these black dog sightings and they say
- 35:04it's black Shuck, but it's like over and over, like there's no way
- 35:07black Shuck could live for that long unless he was immortal, right, unless
- 35:10he was a hell hound. Right. So in twenty fourteen, there were
- 35:16some archaeologists who found a dog, okay, the bones of a dog,
- 35:21and they were saying that it was seven feet tall if it were to stand
- 35:24on two legs. And since one eighty dever is in the chat she says
- 35:30it's one eight. Oh my gosh, that's yeah, that's a long time.
- 35:35That's thousands of years there. Okay. So in twenty fourteen, the
- 35:40legendary devil dog who terrorized sixteenth century East Anglia with uh, they said that
- 35:47they found they uncovered the remains of a dog. Now I think that it
- 35:52was debunk as being a Great Dane. Okay, I think it was.
- 35:54But this was the leg made the news. At least that's what some people
- 35:59say. That it actually ended up being. Ma Wanna says dire wolves bones
- 36:04probably. Yeah. I read that this this skeleton they found that was like
- 36:08seven feet from end to end if it were to stand up, it ended
- 36:13up being a Great Dane, and someone who just loved their dog buried it
- 36:19very delicately and intricately, give it a proper burial. But see, the
- 36:23people who found it thought, well, this has to be black shuck.
- 36:27It must be black chuck. Okay, so yeah, I mean I would
- 36:34you know, I've buried a dog or two. They weren't that big though,
- 36:37they were not that big. Not that big. That's a big dog.
- 36:42I mean, you just don't see dogs a Great Dane or a mast
- 36:45m is a mask step larger than a great Dane. They're about the same
- 36:51size. Yeah, they're about the same size. They are. Now here's
- 36:55the thing. Coming from a field researchers standpoint, We have never. I
- 37:01have never. My team is never because they would have told me we've never
- 37:05come across the bones of a dog man or a werewolf or a sasquatch.
- 37:10Okay, but not to say that, I mean because I've seen them.
- 37:15I've seen bigfoots okay, But like where where are the bones? Where the
- 37:19bones go? And another thing is like when people ask me that, I
- 37:22say, well, if you go to the body farm, it's safer,
- 37:25insince and you go to learn about decomposing corpses and bodies. Those bones get
- 37:31scattered around and they get eaten by predators or scavengers. I guess my yard.
- 37:38My dog brings them in from the woods. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 37:44yeah. Nothing like getting a femur brought up to your back door, not
- 37:47knowing what it came from when you talked about it. You haven't found bones
- 37:51or seen bones. Do you remember what was in a movie Harry N.
- 37:57Henderson's came back out years ago, And remember when somebody was saying how they
- 38:00didn't believe in Bigfoot, and the guy said, he goes, well,
- 38:05I've never seen one. Guy says, have you ever seen a baby pigeon?
- 38:08And he goes, well, well, I'm sure. Well you know
- 38:12what, I still haven't seen a baby pigeon. I always think about that.
- 38:15If I go into the city and I see pigeons, I'm like,
- 38:17where are the babies? Yeah, somewhere. Just because we don't see it
- 38:24doesn't mean it's not there. That's the point. I guess. It's like,
- 38:28well, we don't we don't see it, but doesn't mean it's not
- 38:30there at all. And we have Barry Littleton in the chat. Hey,
- 38:31Barry, that's a wa Heila, very cool. Yes, Barry has done
- 38:37a video on that. You guys go check out Barry's video after the show
- 38:40today and and it's he says, reported to there aren't black, but they're
- 38:45reported to look like timber wolves that are bigger than people. Okay, Now
- 38:50wolves are huge, regular wolves are gigantic. John No, scarily big.
- 38:57Okay. I saidyone on the road in the mountains here step out in front
- 39:00of my car about four years ago, and I'd never seen one. I've
- 39:04seen the coyotes, and I didn't realize there was. But this guy came
- 39:07out and I stopped, and you know, the coyotes are skittish, they'll
- 39:10just run, run, run. This guy just trotted out and the road
- 39:14stopped, looked at me, and just slowly trotted away. He was in
- 39:19no hurry. And I was like, yeah, there's a difference. There's
- 39:22a huge difference. He was massive. I couldn't believe how big he was.
- 39:27Oh yeah, so, I mean it's almost we hear about dog man.
- 39:31Dog men are really big like that too, So I had to do
- 39:36I mean, that could have been a dog man. John could have just
- 39:40then you never know. But there's a whole there's a whole lot of things
- 39:45that get misidentified to and you know, we I could get into the story
- 39:50about the couple who hit a werewolf down on the south the south part of
- 39:54the county that I live in. Is they swore they had hit a were
- 39:57wolf, they said, because it got up and ran off on two legs.
- 40:00Okay, so yeah, but it looked like a wolf. It like
- 40:05a wolf, but then it got up. It's always getting up on those
- 40:07two hind legs. That's the telltale sign, right, there now the bar
- 40:12guess what I was getting into just a little bit. Just then it says
- 40:15that it was. It's the sign of a of a bad omen, right,
- 40:21a bad omen. Anyone who gets the slightest glimpse of this hellhound has
- 40:27months to live, months, while anyone who got a super good long like
- 40:34that's if you get a glimpse, if you get like a long layer at
- 40:37it, like a long stare at it, you will pass away within days.
- 40:42They say, so wow, I mean that would make you not want
- 40:45to look at these things right when to ever see one? Yes, okay,
- 40:52Hobveer is in the chat. Hey, Howveyer? We krypt it?
- 40:55Five five nine. Have you heard of any accounts of hellhounds on two legs
- 41:00wearing a cloak that are seen near a cemetery? I have never heard of
- 41:04one wearing a cloak before. I don't. I don't recall ever here one
- 41:07wearing a cloak. Now we do hear about them sometimes wearing like dog men
- 41:12wearing articles of clothing, which makes you kind of think, well, maybe
- 41:15that's a werewolf. Okay, like a human that had transformed like a skin
- 41:19walker some outthres is all kind of combined I think, Okay, they're all
- 41:23connected, not combined, but connected in some way. So, and that
- 41:30brings us to another point is that the hell hounds are generally seen at burial
- 41:37mounds, buried as cemeteries, places where people have been unalived, or like
- 41:44a battle ground. And we talk about these Civil war battlefields here in the
- 41:46South. I talk about them all the time, and how we get a
- 41:51lot of crypted reports from those areas where the blood was shed, Okay,
- 41:54where the battles took place, where all of that energy is stored, the
- 42:00trauma, the sadness. It's like a breeding ground for for cryptids and not
- 42:07not the good kind of crew. I'm not saying cryptis are good or bad,
- 42:10but it's one's it or out there eating dead corpses and stuff. Not
- 42:15the corpses are alive unless there's Yeah, they're out there like old green eyes.
- 42:20So I don't know, what do you think about all that, John,
- 42:25Uh, I don't know. I would think if they're wearing a cloak
- 42:31or wearing any kind of clothing, I don't know that that just parkens back
- 42:38to like you said, the old wolf man wear wolf tails from from Europe.
- 42:46I don't know. I don't know what to think about a cloak wearing
- 42:50dog man or a hell hound. Or again though, if it's a hell
- 42:53hound, if it's a spiritual being, you know, sky's the limit probably
- 43:00on what it what it can do, what it can manifest or mm hmm,
- 43:06that's right, that's right. Now we also have to I was reading,
- 43:10sorry I spit it out just so, I was reading about the the
- 43:15hellhounds being either solitary or impacts, okay, And so this is something that
- 43:20we hear about with dog men, and Hobvier has had his own experiences with
- 43:23dogmen up close and personal. As a matter of fact, a lot of
- 43:29times you hear that they're just there's just one of them, Okay, there's
- 43:31just one. But then when you if you hear about them, people seeing
- 43:35them potentially hunting their impacts just like these hell hounds, which leads people what
- 43:39leads me to think, well, could dog men be hellhounds and hellhounds be
- 43:44dogmen? Okay, it could be, even though we're we are trying to
- 43:47see the differences in them. But I think there's more similarities than there are
- 43:52differences. It says that in the British countryside and in ancient mythology. You
- 44:00mostly hear about them being lone dogs, Okay, but there's an occasional telle
- 44:06of packs of hell hounds. Now that's not a pack that I want to
- 44:09stumble across, especially by myself late at night at all. But they they
- 44:19actually are super violent. They unlive people indiscriminately. And yeah, you just
- 44:25don't want to stumble across these things ever, which sounds like it could be
- 44:30dogmen as well. Okay, I'm talking about hellhounds, but we could also
- 44:35be talking about dog man too. Now I have a picture of something because
- 44:38I'm thinking about now with the with the cemeteries, okay, and hobby ER's
- 44:44comment here, let me take this down. So I was contacted about two
- 44:47weeks ago by a very nice lady who may be coming on my show soon.
- 44:52I hope. I need to get back in touch with her. But
- 44:54she is the person who owns the video of this dog man. Uh.
- 45:02Well, it's an alleged dog man digging through a cemetery. I believe that's
- 45:07in Ohio. I've seen years ago, yes, and uh, and so
- 45:13it it's a really crazy looking video. Okay, it's uh, it's actually
- 45:17a little unnerving and this is what this being was digging right here. It
- 45:23was digging a hole in a cemetery right there by a mauslem. And it
- 45:28was two young ladies who were driving through the cemetery and they were on their
- 45:31dinner break. There's so she said. It was their suffer break. Hey,
- 45:35their dinner break, uh, while they were working. And they they
- 45:38have a video. It's just on one of the one of the girls had
- 45:40it on her cell phone and uh, and she told me they thought it
- 45:44was a human, like a dirty woman. That's what they said, like
- 45:46a dirty human like digging. I mean because when you watch the video,
- 45:51you can find this video on the North American dog Man Project dot com I
- 45:54think is their website. Go to the look up the North American dog Man
- 45:58Project and uh and they have the I don't know if they have the video
- 46:00there, but they have still photos. Okay, I have. She sent
- 46:04me the video of this. It is fascinating, Okay because it's in a
- 46:10cemetery. Okay. This is where we hear about dog men, okay,
- 46:15being where wolves. We hear about them being seen at Indian burial mounds,
- 46:22Okay, digging into Indian burial mounds sometimes we hear them being at graveyards and
- 46:25at cemeteries. No, I have a Chalktaw cemetery that borders my property.
- 46:34My property borders a little chalk Taw church ground too, and now I have
- 46:39to keep a closer eye on the cemetery. But I noticed the other day
- 46:44went for a walk and about a half mile down the road, somebody has
- 46:47taking the flowers, the plastic flowers from the graves that cemetery, and they
- 46:52displayed them on the road, you know, like people will do, like
- 46:57they'll say a monument when somebody's killed in a autoreck or something. And nobody's
- 47:01died on the road within a half month. You can't get going. It's
- 47:05a dirt road. You can't go that fast anyway. But I was wondering
- 47:07what that meant. I wondered who would be doing that and why, you
- 47:13know, like I don't even go over that cemetery, not out of fear
- 47:16what's in the cemetery, just out of respect for the Chartile families. I'm
- 47:21not going to go walk around and look in the cemetery. You know their
- 47:24loved ones are there. And but I was I was struck by that.
- 47:29I was trying to hear who would be doing that, and I would think
- 47:31they would anger people, you know, so, yeah, they must be
- 47:37doing it at night, not in broad daylight. I would think, I
- 47:42don't know, I just don't know why anybody would go mess with somebody's graves.
- 47:45Okay, Well, well I had a conversation with the lady who who
- 47:50I was talking with, who has this video, and she said that.
- 47:53Okay, so I was looking at this video and I'll put the picture back
- 47:57up as one of the still shots from it. I was thinking it was
- 48:00digging up a corpse. Okay, because when you see that and you see
- 48:05something digging, yeah, it's trying to get it a body. It's hungry
- 48:09or something. It smells death potentially. Well, she had a whole different
- 48:15take on that, and uh and I can't wait to have her on the
- 48:19show and day she's She was actually saying that she thinks that it was mimicking
- 48:23what humans do and burying their dead. She thinks potentially it had made maybe
- 48:29it had a dead child and it was trying to marry it. I thought,
- 48:32you know, it's interesting. You'll see how dogs when their owner passes
- 48:37away, they will know where that that person's body is and it'll lay it
- 48:42the grave or you know, I've seen a lot of videos of that.
- 48:47Maybe they have a sense or smell or you know, who knows. I
- 48:51don't what if it's okay, what if this thing is say, it's not
- 48:55a dog man or a hell and it is a weird one. It is
- 49:00human and it's related to whoever's grave that was. I don't know. I'm
- 49:06just throwing out ideas, just brainstorming, but yeah, that's that's pretty interesting.
- 49:12The fact that it was out in broad daylight's pretty interesting. And I
- 49:15remember seeing that video years ago, and at the time, I think they
- 49:21were saying it was possibly a sasquatch and I was wondering, why would why
- 49:24would sasquatch be digging up a grave? But it makes more sense to be
- 49:29something like a dog man or some canine type deal. Yeah, stupid woolf
- 49:35Hounds of the Baskerville. That that's what I was talking about earlier, as
- 49:39far as the hell Hounds and stuff. He's probably seen that old movie.
- 49:44Oh yeah, yeah, I was. I was a little behind on the
- 49:46comments. So that was that was back when you were talking about it.
- 49:50I'm all right, I'm just out pulling it up. I get a little
- 49:55I get a little behind because I get I get to talking, and and
- 50:00this chat moves so fast it's hard to keep up sometimes. But but I'm
- 50:04over here doing I'm doing it. I'm doing it. We're getting it done.
- 50:07We're getting her done today. Yeah, somebody in the chat let me.
- 50:10I was gonna try to find this comment. I'm so sorry I pulled
- 50:14it up while ago. But they were asking, is the dog man's head
- 50:16just gigantic in its body smaller as the whole dagum thing huge? I think
- 50:21the whole dagum thing is huge, Okay, I do. I was gonna
- 50:25say, I was gonna pull up a picture of old shuck, the black
- 50:29black shuck, okay, and uh and this, and I'm gonna read this
- 50:32article okay, because this is from fifteen seventy seven. I had to think
- 50:37that. I see what. My door just came open. We mentioned the
- 50:47Oh my gosh, y'all, we're having paranormal activity live on air today.
- 50:54Oh my gosh, live on air. Oh that was fun. You saw
- 50:59it here? I was looking down, so no, I did not see
- 51:04that. But hey, we'll go back and watch that. Monica come home
- 51:07early from work or something. But the door, Oh my gosh. Okay,
- 51:12well let's let's hope it happens again. That's kind of fun. Okay.
- 51:19No, I usually have orbs that fly in front of my face and
- 51:22between me and the camera. So okay, So this is this is the
- 51:28This is the black black Shuck from fifteen seventy seven. This is I guess
- 51:31this was in like there. I want to say, a newspaper. I
- 51:35don't know if they have newspapers. It was on their scroll from back then.
- 51:39It says a terrible wonder wrought very late in the in the parent I
- 51:45can't see the church some Okay, maybe I shouldn't read this, okay,
- 51:49because it's in old English. I can't even read it because my eyes are
- 51:52bad. Okay, but this this is the article. I would have read
- 51:55it for you if I could have seen it. But yes, and this
- 52:00is in the middle. I mean, people have always there's always been these
- 52:02stories of dogs, like gigantic dogs, attacking people. Uh my goodness.
- 52:08We've talked about the old World maps on this show plenty of times, John,
- 52:14where they actually had dog headed men on those maps. I think we
- 52:17might have talked about that when we talked about Antarctica that day. Yeah,
- 52:21yeah, so they definitely. This is something that's been in history for a
- 52:28long time. And uh and to this day we're getting dog man reports.
- 52:32Okay, I know this is your least favorite cryptid. It's one of my
- 52:36favorite cryptis though. Okay, so one of my favorites because I have not
- 52:38found one yet. I have not seen one with my own eyes, and
- 52:42I'd love to see one from far away, from far away. Yeah,
- 52:47the place them, Yeah, i'd like to see them. I would definitely
- 52:54like see when the place that I was researching this past weekend where we just
- 52:58went for a day trip down to the troop Herd Corrinor. They are known.
- 53:01That area is known for dogman reports and it's near an army base,
- 53:07right, Fort Minning is down there in Columbus. So what what is the
- 53:14connection, John, You're you're a retired Air Force all right, I don't
- 53:21know. Yeah, that's that's army. That's I think that's an airborne school
- 53:24and I think the Ranger School may be there. I'm not sure, but
- 53:30yeah, yeah, I'm not gonna comment, you know, I'm sure nothing
- 53:35but sound more ridiculous and an air Force commenting on the army, so I
- 53:38just won't. We'll speaking of the army too. I had just come across
- 53:45a picture from Fort Stewart, which is down in South Georgia, which is
- 53:51a rugby tournament there. I played rugby there, I sure did. I
- 53:53played. You said you played? I did too, in nineteen maybe four,
- 54:00okay, but but yeah, we wed. I played rugby down there
- 54:04too. Okay, not not at Fort Stewart, but I was by there
- 54:07because I went to George. I went to Georgia Southern University, all right,
- 54:10But yeah, yeah, there was a picture that just came out of
- 54:15what looks like it didn't just come out, but it looks like a big
- 54:19UFO or some kind of light anomaly over the base at Fort Stewart. Really
- 54:25yeah, I'll see if I can find it and post it on my social
- 54:29media today today for everybody to see. But a lot of a lot of
- 54:32strange anomalist stuff happens down there. A lot of big foot sightings down there
- 54:37near Fort Stewart, near Fort Benning. We get we get reports a lot
- 54:42of of mostly Sasquatch and dog man down there. So no hellhounds though,
- 54:46no hellhound. I got an Army. I've got an army base big Foot
- 54:52story. I'll have to tell you sometimes it's short one, but I thought
- 54:54it was kind of funny. Yeah, it's crypted. Oh my gosh.
- 55:00The wo Wolf, the wo Wolf, the Woo wolves from space out radio.
- 55:05Thank you Neil. We got Neil in the in the chat today.
- 55:08Neil actually goes to castles all over the UK and uh and does I think
- 55:15it's the UK right now? And uh and goes and visits castles. I
- 55:17was just messaging today about how the energy has to be there. I wonder
- 55:22if there's a lot of dog man reports around those areas, uh, considering
- 55:27all the history of the land and everything, battles that have taken place,
- 55:31all the bloodshed on the ground, just like we have the Civil War battlefields
- 55:36here, and who's to say, like our history is not what we're told,
- 55:38so there's no telling what else happened on the ground here. It's some
- 55:44of these areas, So I don't know, it's food for thought. Like
- 55:47our friend Barry says, who's in the chat, Heybury? So yeah,
- 55:52let's see. I'm trying to figure out if I've covered everything so far,
- 55:58Okay that I wanted to talk about today with the Hellhounds versus dog Man.
- 56:00If the Hellhounds had to fight dog Man, who do you think would win
- 56:04John in a battle water I'm going to say, since I know very little
- 56:08of that either, but I'm going to say, based on my theory that
- 56:13the hellhounds a spiritual thing in the dog Man's a physical thing, I would
- 56:19give the edge to the hell hound because it's I don't know, it's got
- 56:24more mojo going on in my books. So what would you say? Okay,
- 56:30Well, I think dog men are supernatural too. I think some of
- 56:34them are. I mean, if they're coming and going through portals. Some
- 56:36people say they come through portals and trees. I have a friend who's said
- 56:43that his uncle potentially turned into a dog man, okay, or a werewolf.
- 56:47I guess you could call it a werewolf, and there may have been
- 56:51a little black magic involved that, Okay. But he went behind a tree
- 56:54and he came out the other side of a gigantic wolf and went and ran
- 57:00into the woods. So I think there's a supernatural element to dog Man and
- 57:02wear wolves and stuff. So I don't know, you know, we are
- 57:06in a spiritual battle. I do believe Okay, we're in a spiritual battle.
- 57:12Yeah, I agree, Castle Dude, where in the UK? Are
- 57:15you just curious? I was there for three years in Oxfordshire, if you
- 57:21if you can hear me if he's still there. So yeah, I'm just
- 57:24one does his uh where he does his uh research at from where he lives.
- 57:31Oh, he's got a can. He's got a channel, thank you,
- 57:34GARYL. Garyl's in the chat. Uh he's got a YouTube channel.
- 57:37So go to go to his YouTube channel. I'll send you a link.
- 57:42I'll get you a link after the show. Okay, and and you can
- 57:45you can follow him on all his adventures there. H So yeah, Marie
- 57:49says the dog Man would win. Okay, I think I think dog Man
- 57:52would win in a physical battle dog Man. Okay, my bets on dog
- 57:58Man. But spiritually the hell Hounds. I don't know anything that guards the
- 58:02gates of hell. You're not getting past it. Okay, there you go.
- 58:07I know, right if it's a three headed dog like cerebrals the hellhound
- 58:14with drag dog Man and throw him in the pit. So but oh my
- 58:20gosh, yeah, I don't know. I don't I don't know what all
- 58:22the everybody in the chat today thinks about who would win. I think I
- 58:24think dog Man's got it so far. Controversy, Yeah, yeah, it's
- 58:35it's that would be. That would be a fierce battle. Though. Uh,
- 58:37where did the first dog man originate from? That's a good question,
- 58:40prophet, I have no want to tell you. John's done his research on
- 58:46this, and this is made made upset a few dog men folks. Actually,
- 58:52the first allegend encounter, they're kind of based out of Michigan, the
- 58:57whole story, but they're person legend counter was eighteen eighty seven in Westford County
- 59:02by two lumberjacks who said they saw a seven foot dog like creature walking on
- 59:08two legs. Then you didn't hear about it anymore until nineteen thirty seven.
- 59:14In Paris, Michigan, a man named Robert Fortney was attacked by five wild
- 59:17dogs, one of which he claimed walked up right on two legs, and
- 59:22then he goes quiet again. And then there was similar preachers reported in I
- 59:30don't know if I'm pronouncing this right, a Legion County in nineteen fifty,
- 59:34then again in nineteen sixty seven in Manistee, Michigan, and Cross Village,
- 59:38Michigan, so there were reports of two different areas in nineteen sixty seven.
- 59:45Now here's what I thought was interesting, and I'm just gonna put this out
- 59:47there. In nineteen eighty seven, a radio disc jockey by the name of
- 59:57Stephen Cook and I gave you li to the Song, played a song as
- 1:00:01an April Fool's joke, as an April fools prank, called the Legend,
- 1:00:07and it was about a dog like creature. Well after this played, people
- 1:00:12thought it was based on true stories, and then all of a sudden,
- 1:00:14these dog man reports started coming in and dog Man kind of took off.
- 1:00:17And like I said, I'm not poo pooing on a dog man people.
- 1:00:22I've always kind of had an ear for the paranormal. I've never you know,
- 1:00:27I was never an expert. I'm not an expert on any of it,
- 1:00:30but I did always pay attention, and you know, the stories and
- 1:00:32stuff interest me. But I swear I never heard of dog Man until twenty
- 1:00:38fifteen, when I was in a full blown research on sasquatch from my novel.
- 1:00:45I started bumping into this dog Man stuff and it really wasn't much,
- 1:00:50and then it just exploded. It seemed like after about twenty seventeen, twenty
- 1:00:53eighteen, it just became huge, this huge, big thing. So but
- 1:01:01I will admit I'm pretty I'm pretty ignorant on the whole subject. I haven't
- 1:01:06paid much attention to it. But it doesn't go I mean, it doesn't
- 1:01:12have the history or the and less you count werewolf stories or wolfman stories,
- 1:01:16which may be the same thing. It doesn't have the history of say sasquat
- 1:01:21UFO's hauntings, you know, demonic activity, those kind of things, locked
- 1:01:29nest. You know, it just doesn't have that that prehistory before modern times
- 1:01:36like these other subjects do. And that's all I'm gonna say about it.
- 1:01:39Yeah, well, the modern day dog man. Yeah, you know,
- 1:01:43I get we get so many reports of these, and you know the money
- 1:01:45the dog man may be the old time werewolf. It may be, it
- 1:01:50may be similar. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It
- 1:01:53could be. Well, if these old world maps are real, and I
- 1:01:57think that they are, that show dragon and Blimmy's and uh and the dog
- 1:02:04headed men, I mean tribes and communities of dog headed men right to go
- 1:02:08way back, I mean potentially from the beginning of time. Now, I
- 1:02:15just saw that comment who Prophet Pree says, I guess they they're lad made.
- 1:02:23You know, that's a possibility too, it is, I mean,
- 1:02:28anything's possible anymore because people are gonna meet with everything they can. Oh my
- 1:02:32god, this is this is something I've never heard before. Michael. That's
- 1:02:37awesome, Michael says. They also say dog man Roman soldiers guarded Jesus on
- 1:02:40the cross. Okay, I've never heard that. That would be really cool
- 1:02:45though. If they did, man, that would be something crazy. Why
- 1:02:50would they they're trying to kill him. Well, maybe it was to just
- 1:02:54to let him. I don't know, there's no talent, but that's kind
- 1:02:58of cool. Well, we do hear about okay, so we do hear
- 1:03:00about dog men being in the military. I have done shows on it.
- 1:03:06Our government utilizing them as soldiers modern day okay, and you know Vietnam War,
- 1:03:13they're sending wear wolves down into the into the tunnels, right, So,
- 1:03:17uh, it's not super far fetched. Okay, it's really not,
- 1:03:22especially if there is that dog man breeding program in the crypto breeding program.
- 1:03:25So yeah, this this absolutely to keep people from taking them off the cross
- 1:03:31and from taking parts of him as well. Oof man. Well that that
- 1:03:37would make sense. So it's that's another rabbit hole. Man, Maybe we
- 1:03:40should do a show on that one day. You know, this is one
- 1:03:43of the most requested remote viewing targets that I've ever gotten, is seeing Jesus
- 1:03:49on the cross, being Jesus Jesus's crucifixion, and I have not done that.
- 1:03:54I have not remote viewed that. It's not a target I think that
- 1:03:59would be. I think it might end up being super controversial. Actually I
- 1:04:03don't know, but yeah, super controversial. So I haven't done it.
- 1:04:08But now I'm intrigued with the whole dog man, the whole dog soldiers guarding
- 1:04:12him. So I don't know. Man, I tell you what. Our
- 1:04:15rabbit holes turn into portal holes, okay, portals. Uh, they always
- 1:04:21do. Man, this is this is always a good time, super good
- 1:04:25time. John. We've come to the end of the hour today and uh,
- 1:04:30and I want you to tell the audience about your books and uh and
- 1:04:33where they can find you. Okay, Well, I've had I have two
- 1:04:39completed series, as Jessica mentioned earlier, Relics, which it starts out in
- 1:04:44the first book. You think it's a big book foot story, but it
- 1:04:46goes even deeper. Three books, Uh, the Ghosts or shadow Chaser series.
- 1:04:54It's kind of a young adult, but adult readers love these books too.
- 1:04:58There's three of those, and my first book in a news series and
- 1:05:01The Fall is out. And you can find all my books at relicsbook dot
- 1:05:06com and there's a menu there for you click on any book and order it
- 1:05:14in any format. I will say in the Fall and the three Shadow Chasers
- 1:05:18books are available on audio now, so if you're a listener not a reader,
- 1:05:24you can get either of those four books. And there's also there's an
- 1:05:29email link on there if you want to email me and you know, disagree
- 1:05:35or agree or whatever or just make contact. And it's relicsbook dot com.
- 1:05:40And most of the people read my books like them. I get. I
- 1:05:45get the occasional disgruntled reader, but that's usually for killing their favorite character or
- 1:05:49something. But yeah, I and just pay attention to Amazon sometimes I have
- 1:05:56free giveaways on the kindles and things like that. So if you're interested in
- 1:06:00Cryptid's Fallen Angels, UFOs, any of that stuff, look me up at
- 1:06:09relicsbook dot com. Yes, you guys, go to relicsbook dot com.
- 1:06:14Let me pull that back up I was just like, at we're still getting
- 1:06:15more comments in the chat, some amazing comments actually, and thank you guys.
- 1:06:20It's always it's always a good time. Yes, we shouldn't worry about
- 1:06:25offending people, absolutely, I know, but you know, I'm still I'm
- 1:06:28also very diplomatic about what I do. And I maybe maybe if we can
- 1:06:32talk about that and do that kind of stuff on my patreon when it comes
- 1:06:35down to something like a target that would be Jesus on the Cross, Okay,
- 1:06:40like that that would probably go to my patreon and uh because yeah,
- 1:06:44I just I don't know. It just depends. It just depends. But
- 1:06:45we'll see. I don't know. I try to stay away from contract.
- 1:06:49I work in politics, y'all. Okay, that's something that most people don't
- 1:06:54know about me. I worked in politics my entire life. Okay, my
- 1:06:58entire adult life. Now I'm talking about Bigfoot. What a difference, right,
- 1:07:03Bigfoot's way more fun than working in politics, so uh so, yeah,
- 1:07:09I know. I try to stay away from the controversy. Okay,
- 1:07:11I try to do. I try to stay away from the drama in the
- 1:07:14controversy. But but yeah, interesting stuff. John, Thank you so so
- 1:07:18much for being here. Today. It is always a pleasure. And I
- 1:07:24got to tell you that Disigan and Diegoggle show that you and I did together
- 1:07:28is the highest watch show on my channel. Okay, so thank you.
- 1:07:32Check it out again. That one went by in a blur. You know.
- 1:07:35It's funny. I can usually remember our shows, but that one was
- 1:07:39a blur. Maybe that's why. Thanks so much for having me. It's
- 1:07:45always a pleasure to be on your show. I appreciate it. Thank you.
- 1:07:49I love having you here. Yes, Roger Bigfoot for president, y'all.
- 1:07:53He's the he's the candidate we can all believe in. Okay, So
- 1:07:58and right now we need one of those okay. So yes, all right,
- 1:08:01y'all. Well, thank everybody. I want to thank all y'all for
