- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, am I going to get to listen to this
- 0:02Speaker 1: episode or do.
- 0:02Speaker 2: I need to join the Patreon?
- 0:04Speaker 3: I think it's the only way.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I just remembered I still have a Patreon account that's.
- 0:09Speaker 4: Been collecting dust.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Oh, but we should tell them about that. The fact
- 0:16Speaker 3: that this.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Week is a Patreon episode and if you, the rest
- 0:20Speaker 2: of you people, were cool, you would be supporting the
- 0:25Speaker 2: show and be kicking in like, I don't know, two
- 0:27Speaker 2: bucks and then you can go and listen to An
- 0:30Speaker 2: awesome episode where we say amazing things like this. I
- 0:35Speaker 2: feel like I'm.
- 0:36Speaker 1: So tired of this ghost murder switcheroo. At first you
- 0:42Speaker 1: think it's ghosts, and then it turns out your dad's
- 0:45Speaker 1: a serial killer, but your brother's also a serial killer.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I don't remember that being a thing until last week.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I know, and maybe it's just these two movies.
- 0:56Speaker 2: That I'm like, not again, damn it. But I did,
- 0:58Speaker 2: it was mostly as, you know, that's what brought it
- 1:01Speaker 2: on my radar as I'm scrolling through our options for
- 1:04Speaker 2: this week and just like, ooh, mental illness. I mean,
- 1:07Speaker 2: obviously Mental Illness Girl is going to want to jump
- 1:09Speaker 2: on board with this. Boy, oh boy, do I have thoughts.
- 1:12Speaker 2: As Mental Illness Girl, how would you like to address
- 1:16Speaker 2: the mental illness?
- 1:18Speaker 1: What the hell kind of psychiatrist makes the discharge plan
- 1:22Speaker 1: for a guy who's been in a mental hospital for
- 1:24Speaker 1: 20 years?
- 1:24Speaker 4: That was so weird how he pressed a button and
- 1:27Speaker 4: he was like, okay, you can take him back.
- 1:30Speaker 2: You're free!
- 1:31Speaker 1: And we're going to send you back to this... It
- 1:33Speaker 1: was like a game show. We're going to send you
- 1:35Speaker 1: back to this giant mansion where your dad just committed suicide.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And by the way, you're going to be totally by
- 1:40Speaker 1: yourself on house arrest for 30 days. And also, I'm
- 1:44Speaker 1: never going to call to check in on you And
- 1:46Speaker 1: your parole officer is a total psychopath.
- 1:48Speaker 2: That's so funny. Yeah, as soon as she mentioned that,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I was like, well, we're going to be seeing a
- 1:55Speaker 2: ghost dog eating dad's face in a few minutes, I'm guessing.
- 1:59Speaker 3: And I'm like, there it is.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I was like, they delivered.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yep, we knew it was coming.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I even thought like, oh, ghost dog, that's not so bad. Oh, nope,
- 2:07Speaker 1: they're eating his face.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Kind of just go with that, you know, just as
- 2:12Speaker 4: long as we get that weird twist and that weird
- 2:16Speaker 4: tongue in a jar queue with the loud music and
- 2:19Speaker 4: you know we're good like which.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Why is that the best place to keep your tongue
- 2:24Speaker 2: in a jar i can understand there are many like
- 2:26Speaker 2: psychos who want to keep a trophy but in your
- 2:29Speaker 2: electrical box next to the pool like.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Finding the most the weirdest place to put a tongue
- 2:35Speaker 4: in a jar honestly if i were in a hot
- 2:37Speaker 4: image i would never have thought to look in a
- 2:41Speaker 4: pool circuit board in the pool.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Like this giant house yeah yeah there's so many giant
- 2:46Speaker 1: office with a fancy desk with like 10 drawers shove
- 2:48Speaker 1: it in.
- 2:49Speaker 2: There but also if you're trying to like yeah that's
- 2:52Speaker 2: the sort of thing it seems like you'd want to
- 2:53Speaker 2: hide or you look like a psychopath so at some
- 2:57Speaker 2: point isn't somebody gonna need to like flip a breaker
- 2:59Speaker 2: or you know like gonna need to get in that
- 3:02Speaker 2: for like a real professional reason like an electrician comes
- 3:05Speaker 2: by like That just doesn't seem like a good place
- 3:09Speaker 2: to hide it. In a functional electrical place. Throw it
- 3:14Speaker 2: in the trash.
- 3:15Speaker 1: What are you doing with it?
- 3:17Speaker 2: You need it, but at least go make it into
- 3:19Speaker 2: a necklace or something really cool like that. The other
- 3:26Speaker 2: thing is a thank you to all of you. Specifically
- 3:30Speaker 2: this week to Sam, we'll say is his code name.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I guess if you all want code names for the club,
- 3:36Speaker 2: you can, you know, let me know. We can issue you,
- 3:38Speaker 2: but he's, he's kind of given himself a code name. So, um,
- 3:41Speaker 2: mostly because this past week.
- 3:43Speaker 3: We're coming out of the holiday season, as you all know,
- 3:46Speaker 3: I'm assuming.
- 3:47Speaker 2: And his, uh, he posted on Facebook, his holiday wish
- 3:51Speaker 2: was that everyone else like get on board with this.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Club and come support movie meltdown. And I'm like, that's awesome.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Like the fact that anybody bothers to think about us
- 4:00Speaker 2: is kind of cool. So, He specifically put the link
- 4:04Speaker 2: out for Patreon and told everybody to join up. That's awesome.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I'm not saying you have to, but if anybody else
- 4:11Speaker 2: out there wants to spread the word, that's kind of
- 4:14Speaker 2: the uphill battle we fight every week is trying to
- 4:17Speaker 2: find people in the sea that is the internet. Everything
- 4:23Speaker 2: gets lost in the internet. Whatever you can do to guide.
- 4:26Speaker 3: It towards other geeks like you, that's what we're looking for.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I am trying to up it and come up with new, cool,
- 4:35Speaker 2: not just structured to this part of the club, but
- 4:37Speaker 2: I also sent out a t-shirt maybe to that same person, but, um,
- 4:42Speaker 2: because he was at that level. So I'm trying to
- 4:45Speaker 2: get caught up. I know there's a couple of people
- 4:47Speaker 2: that I, most of it was just t-shirts were lost
- 4:50Speaker 2: during the move, but now that I'm sort of in
- 4:52Speaker 2: a place, I found them and I'm like, Hey, I
- 4:54Speaker 2: can give you your shirts now.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So there's a couple more that those are coming to you.
- 4:58Speaker 3: So you, you, you will be contacted.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Anyone else who isn't getting one.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Maybe you should just give us a couple extra dollars.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Get this awesome shirt that nobody else has. Technically, I
- 5:08Speaker 2: think he's the only one that has one of those
- 5:10Speaker 2: shirts outside of me so far. And probably you should
- 5:14Speaker 2: get one now because I'm assuming we're going to get
- 5:16Speaker 2: hit with some sort of license rights thing. And they
- 5:19Speaker 2: might be outlawed soon. So you really should get one
- 5:22Speaker 2: while you can.
- 5:23Speaker 1: At my t-shirt.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Before a previous guest shuts us down.
- 5:26Speaker 3: So, act now. I can do two bucks. It's not
- 5:32Speaker 3: so bad.
- 5:34Speaker 4: It's half of what I paid for this cup of coffee.
- 5:37Speaker 3: This cup of coffee.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Gladly. From Honey Brothers, which all of you should go
- 5:42Speaker 2: and support.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Get some coffee.
- 5:46Speaker 4: That's right.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Coffee and supporting this show. That's all you need. Just
- 5:51Speaker 3: go get coffee and kick in two bucks. Go to MovieMeltdown.com.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Support the show.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Become a Meltketeer.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Damn the man. Save the Meltdown.
