Transcript
- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome back to this week's Off the Bench podcast from
- 0:18Speaker 1: the Premier League. I'm Sam from FPR family.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Hey Sam, and I'm press Pras.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It was a big week in FPR this week, with
- 0:24Speaker 1: many managers expecting very big things from their teams, especially
- 0:28Speaker 1: those that own Jel Pedro and Cole Palmer, who were
- 0:30Speaker 1: the most transferred in ahead of Chelsea's match against Burnley,
- 0:34Speaker 1: But for Palmer's owners it ended very much in disappointment.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Game Week twenty eight was also the week that we
- 0:40Speaker 1: passed a thousand defensive contribution returns for the season, meaning
- 0:44Speaker 1: that over two thousand defensive contribution points have now been
- 0:47Speaker 1: awarded in the game. But it was really low scoring.
- 0:50Speaker 1: How was your week, Pras.
- 0:52Speaker 2: It was one of those weeks where I felt like
- 0:54Speaker 2: I got away because I didn't have the aforementioned Jo
- 0:57Speaker 2: Pedrou and Palmer, so going into the burn I was
- 1:00Speaker 2: a little bit nervous with just Enzo. They disappointed and
- 1:05Speaker 2: ultimately I got forty seven points, which was just enough
- 1:07Speaker 2: for a green arrow and pretty much carried by Virgil
- 1:11Speaker 2: van Dyke and we'll talk about him in a second.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But to honor the defensive contributions, I got none from
- 1:16Speaker 2: my defenders, So who's that?
- 1:19Speaker 1: Do you know what? Your game week sounds very similar
- 1:21Speaker 1: to mine because I was in the same spot. I
- 1:22Speaker 1: didn't have jarped Joe, I didn't have col Palmer, and
- 1:25Speaker 1: I was terrified about that Chelsea game. I just had
- 1:28Speaker 1: Enzo Fernandez, who I really wanted to sell, but you
- 1:30Speaker 1: can't sell ahead of the game at home to Burnley,
- 1:33Speaker 1: so I thought, well, yeah, one more week. But I
- 1:35Speaker 1: bought him Virgil van Dyke this week and he did
- 1:37Speaker 1: save my game week in the same way that it
- 1:39Speaker 1: sounds like he did yours. I also managed to bench Cinesi,
- 1:42Speaker 1: so that was fun for his clean sheeet because I
- 1:45Speaker 1: just didn't see that coming, to be honest. Forty two
- 1:48Speaker 1: for me, it's a very very small red, but the
- 1:51Speaker 1: first red I've had in weeks now, so I was
- 1:53Speaker 1: on a bit of a hot streak and it's a
- 1:54Speaker 1: bit annoying to see that little red one appear in
- 1:56Speaker 1: that long list of greens. But alas, I still like
- 2:00Speaker 1: it should have been a lot better. The team on
- 2:03Speaker 1: paper should have done a hell of a lot better
- 2:05Speaker 1: than it did do. But there we are, and it
- 2:08Speaker 1: has been a bit of a difficult season for me.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And I think for you as well, which is why
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'm actually really looking forward to the launch of the
- 2:15Speaker 1: Adobe Express Badge League for Game Week twenty eight. All
- 2:18Speaker 1: managers who have created a team badge either in the
- 2:21Speaker 1: Premier League GAP or on the website will automatically be
- 2:24Speaker 1: entered into a new league with some fantastic prizes to
- 2:26Speaker 1: be won. The scoring starts from zero in Game Week
- 2:30Speaker 1: twenty eight, hurrah, So it will be a great way
- 2:33Speaker 1: to track our progress over the running and the manger
- 2:35Speaker 1: of the season. But that does mean as if I'm
- 2:39Speaker 1: going to win the Adobe Express bad League, I need
- 2:41Speaker 1: to start getting my team right and so Gay Week
- 2:44Speaker 1: twenty eight feels like it's going to be really important.
- 2:46Speaker 1: So let's reflect on game Week twenty seven and make
- 2:49Speaker 1: sure that we get our teams set up in the
- 2:51Speaker 1: best way possible for this running. Shall we start with
- 2:54Speaker 1: Chelsea then, given that we both only had Enzo Fernandez
- 2:57Speaker 1: and their assets were incredibly pop pillar heading into this week, Yes,
- 3:02Speaker 1: let's do that. Worried like I was when Joe Pedro
- 3:05Speaker 1: gets that goal in the fourth minute and thinking, oh
- 3:07Speaker 1: my goodness, this is going to end in tears for
- 3:09Speaker 1: us non owners and and the owners probably thinking the
- 3:12Speaker 1: complete opposite. This is going to be an absolute hole.
- 3:15Speaker 2: It's it's it's the timing of it, right. I mean
- 3:17Speaker 2: you just the game weeks just started in three minutes
- 3:19Speaker 2: and you're like, here we go. Jao Pedro probably assisted
- 3:23Speaker 2: by Palmer. It wasn't, of course, but you know those
- 3:26Speaker 2: two have been combining really well, whether it's for penalties
- 3:28Speaker 2: or other other open play goals. And it was like, yes,
- 3:31Speaker 2: Enzo's just watching from the sideline. So I was exactly
- 3:34Speaker 2: in your position where in the end I was very
- 3:36Speaker 2: relieved that jah Pedro only got the goal, only one
- 3:40Speaker 2: bonus point, and essentially Palmer was unlucky because he had
- 3:44Speaker 2: that one on one which poc Ron was gifted to him,
- 3:47Speaker 2: which he didn't take advantage of. And now they go
- 3:50Speaker 2: into playing Arsenal in an away game, which is not
- 3:53Speaker 2: that easy.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Absolutely, And it was one of those where I
- 3:56Speaker 1: was looking at the fixture last week thinking probably should
- 3:59Speaker 1: get jar ped or Cole Palmer, but it feels like
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's too late because then I look at the fixtures
- 4:03Speaker 1: that they have both of the weekend and also in
- 4:05Speaker 1: the midweek round coming up, and neither of them are
- 4:08Speaker 1: particularly great games. And you know, I think most managers,
- 4:12Speaker 1: if you have them and you're planning to try and
- 4:14Speaker 1: play through in game week thirty one, then you might
- 4:16Speaker 1: be in a position where you're thinking, well, I'm going
- 4:18Speaker 1: to hold my Chelsea assets. But they're certainly not one
- 4:20Speaker 1: of those teams that will be looking to target. Interesting
- 4:23Speaker 1: that they've now dropped seventeen points from winning positions at
- 4:26Speaker 1: home in the Premier League this season. That's more than
- 4:28Speaker 1: any other side. And to be honest, they were a
- 4:31Speaker 1: little bit lucky right at the end of this game
- 4:32Speaker 1: to come away with the one point that they did,
- 4:35Speaker 1: because it could very easy have gone differently. I guess
- 4:38Speaker 1: the other thing that we need to talk about is
- 4:40Speaker 1: the Chelsea defense because they have been really popular. The
- 4:43Speaker 1: likes of chaliber and of course Robert Sanchez and goal
- 4:46Speaker 1: have been really heavily owned by FPR managers over the
- 4:48Speaker 1: last few weeks and when those clean sheets stick, it
- 4:52Speaker 1: really hurts for those managers that don't have them. But
- 4:55Speaker 1: actually they haven't been sticking. We've been seeing this odd
- 4:59Speaker 1: goal conceded here or there. It's not been brilliant for
- 5:02Speaker 1: Chelsea defensively, so do they also look like a quite
- 5:05Speaker 1: a hard sound now heading into the next couple of fixtures.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I think in general, yes, you can start to come
- 5:11Speaker 2: up your Chelsea picks. Now, it's all of these things
- 5:14Speaker 2: are very team dependent on what else do you have
- 5:16Speaker 2: as a problem in your team. But when I look
- 5:18Speaker 2: at Chelsea defense, I mean to play Burnley, Leeds Wolves
- 5:21Speaker 2: in west Ham in your last four games and not
- 5:23Speaker 2: have a single clean sheet, that's I mean, you can
- 5:26Speaker 2: say unlucky, slash, it's just you know, it's not ideal
- 5:30Speaker 2: at all. And their numbers have not been that great
- 5:33Speaker 2: now in in terms of extra conceded they have all
- 5:38Speaker 2: been around one. So it's not like they have come
- 5:40Speaker 2: away saying, you know, they should have kept those clean sheets.
- 5:42Speaker 2: We were saying this about vandyk by the way, three
- 5:44Speaker 2: four weeks ago, where he was a little bit unlucky
- 5:46Speaker 2: to concede, but it wasn't the case for Chelsea and
- 5:48Speaker 2: a big reason for this is set pieces. They obviously
- 5:51Speaker 2: conceded that that corner. In the end, they are now
- 5:54Speaker 2: the bottom team in the Premier League for xt conceded
- 5:58Speaker 2: from set plays, which is a remind Arckable's stat, which
- 6:01Speaker 2: is fourteen goals conceded or fourteen XG conceded from set
- 6:04Speaker 2: place and it's not ideal when you're playing Arsenal as
- 6:07Speaker 2: your next.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Week as well for Gabrielle, doesn't it exactly which was Las? Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, and we'll talk about Arsenal a little bit later.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But Rice is on my potential well he is on
- 6:17Speaker 1: my cell list over the next few weeks, because obviously
- 6:20Speaker 1: there's the blank coming up. But those XG numbers from
- 6:24Speaker 1: set pieces for Chelsea was making me kind of go, oh,
- 6:26Speaker 1: maybe I should just give Declan Rice one more week,
- 6:29Speaker 1: because BlimE me, they are really struggling from set pieces.
- 6:32Speaker 1: And who's the one team you don't want to come
- 6:34Speaker 1: up against when you're struggling defending set pieces, Well, of
- 6:37Speaker 1: course it's Arsenal. Before we move on, I think we
- 6:41Speaker 1: just give a little shout out to Fleming, who was
- 6:43Speaker 1: playing ninety minutes for the first time since game Week
- 6:45Speaker 1: thirteen in this one, scored his six goal of the season,
- 6:47Speaker 1: picks up three bonus points and look, you know, I'm
- 6:50Speaker 1: not for a minute suggesting that you invest in any
- 6:52Speaker 1: Burnley assets, but he is ticking over Nicety and so
- 6:56Speaker 1: if you are looking for a kind of cheap forward
- 6:59Speaker 1: in the game, you could do a lot worse, I
- 7:02Speaker 1: think than having somebody like him if you're reshuffling the
- 7:04Speaker 1: budgets around. So yeah, but I don't think there's anyone
- 7:07Speaker 1: else at Bernie. I mean, obviously, if you've got Debravka
- 7:09Speaker 1: you hold as a second goalkeeper, he's great. But otherwise,
- 7:12Speaker 1: no real interest in Bernie assets right now.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I don't think, not really. But it's been a tough
- 7:17Speaker 2: season for forwards right so whenever there's any gems emerging
- 7:20Speaker 2: in the forward slot, we're all very interesting because we
- 7:22Speaker 2: want to spend as little as possible for players who
- 7:25Speaker 2: get goals. And yeah, Fleming looks like a good option.
- 7:28Speaker 2: We've talked about others in the past and this podcast,
- 7:30Speaker 2: like dcl who are showing potential. But yes, it's been
- 7:34Speaker 2: a tough season for forwards in fbield.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Okay, well, let's go from one end of the forward
- 7:38Speaker 1: spectrum to the other and Earlin Harlan and Manchester City.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I try to be brave in this game week Pras
- 7:46Speaker 1: and move the armband away from Harlan and put it
- 7:48Speaker 1: on some meno because I did think that Manchester City
- 7:51Speaker 1: would try and use this as an opportunity to get
- 7:54Speaker 1: a March on Arsenal they were playing ahead of them.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Newcastle have been away and Azerbaijan over the midweek playing
- 8:00Speaker 1: in the Champions League, and though they did incredibly well,
- 8:04Speaker 1: I did think that the travel might have an impact
- 8:06Speaker 1: on the way that Newcastle will play. It was a
- 8:07Speaker 1: home fixture. I didn't get an attacking turn out of Semeno,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but I did get defensive contribution points. Now that was
- 8:15Speaker 1: the second time in a home match this season he's
- 8:17Speaker 1: got them against Newcastle, because of course he picked them
- 8:19Speaker 1: up for Bournemouth earlier on in the season. I did
- 8:22Speaker 1: feel a little bit aggrieved though, because Antoine Semeno really
- 8:25Speaker 1: should have got more points from this game. There were
- 8:27Speaker 1: a number of moments where Marmo she's in on goal
- 8:29Speaker 1: and all he's got to do is play se menu
- 8:31Speaker 1: in and I was screaming at my TV malmost pass
- 8:35Speaker 1: it to Semeno and he didn't. He took the shan himself.
- 8:39Speaker 1: It is a bit annoying when Marmose plays both for
- 8:42Speaker 1: Harlan and for Semeno, because Marmoo she is that greedy
- 8:47Speaker 1: striker that actually we often love owning in FPL because
- 8:50Speaker 1: they take the opportunities themselves. But when you've got the
- 8:52Speaker 1: other players playing alongside him. BlimE me, it was a
- 8:56Speaker 1: bit of a frustrating watched this one.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear what you're saying. As soon as I
- 9:00Speaker 2: saw the team lineup it was a little bit of
- 9:02Speaker 2: a different shape than the more usual four two two
- 9:04Speaker 2: two that Pep's been putting out, and so Marmoush did
- 9:07Speaker 2: make that big difference both for Semenu and Harland, and
- 9:10Speaker 2: it ultimately also affects the minutes right because in some games,
- 9:14Speaker 2: and I don't know, not speculating, but you know, for Harland,
- 9:17Speaker 2: for Semeno, are they going to be playing consistent nineteen
- 9:20Speaker 2: minutes when Marmosh is getting more minutes around Forden is
- 9:23Speaker 2: going to get some minutes at some point he wants
- 9:25Speaker 2: that spot in the England team as well. You know,
- 9:27Speaker 2: you've got share Key as well, who did so well
- 9:29Speaker 2: in the middle part of the season, but now it
- 9:31Speaker 2: doesn't seem to be starting again. So that competition in
- 9:35Speaker 2: that attack is just very difficult to predict. But for
- 9:37Speaker 2: the moment, I think Semnia is a great pick. And
- 9:39Speaker 2: again to celebrate thousand Deaf Con points, you've got a
- 9:42Speaker 2: captain return as your Deaf Con. So That's never a
- 9:45Speaker 2: bad thing getting four points as a return. But I
- 9:49Speaker 2: think in general Newcastle did put up a good display here.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think for Harlan, I thought I was
- 9:55Speaker 1: getting away with Albit because he was just getting the
- 9:57Speaker 1: one point more for a while, and then there was
- 10:00Speaker 1: a bonus point that gets added, so eventually it became
- 10:04Speaker 1: two points. And actually that was the difference between a
- 10:07Speaker 1: green and a red arrow for me. Had I captain Tarland,
- 10:09Speaker 1: it would have been a green arrow. With the ce
- 10:11Speaker 1: menu captain those four points lost effectively, then that's what
- 10:15Speaker 1: caused the red. Let's talk about Harlan for a second
- 10:18Speaker 1: before we get to Nico O'Reilly. I think he deserves
- 10:21Speaker 1: a whole chat by himself, but let's start with Harlan.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Just one open play goal now in ten, but in
- 10:27Speaker 1: this one he did have four shots. His creativity is
- 10:30Speaker 1: definitely growing. The assist potential is coming from him, maybe
- 10:34Speaker 1: because he's not that kind of target. I mean, still
- 10:37Speaker 1: is the target man up top, but he's not quite
- 10:38Speaker 1: playing in that position. With the new players that has
- 10:40Speaker 1: around him, you've got a little bit more ability for
- 10:42Speaker 1: him to be creative for them. I think I saw
- 10:46Speaker 1: more from Harlan in this one than I have for
- 10:48Speaker 1: a few weeks though, in terms of the potential returns
- 10:52Speaker 1: and with the fixtures coming the way that they are
- 10:54Speaker 1: for Manchester City over the next few weeks before their
- 10:56Speaker 1: potential blank game week in game week thirty one, he
- 11:00Speaker 1: feels like an important own and for those managers that
- 11:02Speaker 1: have solved, I think I'd be really wary of what
- 11:06Speaker 1: to do now without Harland in my team.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I think there's two things to it, right, I mean,
- 11:12Speaker 2: has there been a drop off in the last six weeks, Yes,
- 11:15Speaker 2: but can he still go big in the next three
- 11:18Speaker 2: because of the things you mentioned the signs were coming
- 11:20Speaker 2: back against Newcastle also yes. Then you also have to
- 11:23Speaker 2: put into context. Let's say you sold Harland, whould you
- 11:27Speaker 2: go for Let's say last week you did Palmer because
- 11:29Speaker 2: you wanted that captaincy. Now Palmer has difficult fixtures. You
- 11:32Speaker 2: went for Salah. Well, we'll talk about Liverpool and how
- 11:35Speaker 2: peripheral Salah was in that game. So it's really about
- 11:38Speaker 2: do you actually need that money to sell Holland? Because
- 11:40Speaker 2: Holland can still do well, he can still be a
- 11:43Speaker 2: captaincy option. You don't have to captain him like you
- 11:45Speaker 2: didn't last week, so I think there's a little bit
- 11:47Speaker 2: of a strategic discussion to be had with holland the
- 11:50Speaker 2: fact that there's a possibility of him blanking three week
- 11:52Speaker 2: game weeks from now. It's not guaranteed, but it's a
- 11:55Speaker 2: possibility that also plays into people's mind. So if you've
- 11:58Speaker 2: sold him, I think it's fine. It's what you do
- 12:00Speaker 2: with that money that counts. But if you have him, yes,
- 12:03Speaker 2: I agree with you completely that I would keep the faith.
- 12:06Speaker 2: He does have good fixtures coming up. Of course, the
- 12:08Speaker 2: next week is leads away, which is not ideal, but
- 12:11Speaker 2: he could still do well. Man City are still expected
- 12:13Speaker 2: to do well. There's a context of the whole league
- 12:15Speaker 2: at play here where it's getting close and he's going
- 12:18Speaker 2: to get he's going to score, So that's where I
- 12:21Speaker 2: am with Harland. I think Pep also praising him at
- 12:24Speaker 2: the end of the game was also a little bit
- 12:26Speaker 2: of a carrot that you know, don't worry, Howland, I
- 12:28Speaker 2: still love you, and you know, I think Pep said
- 12:31Speaker 2: he was his man of the match, So I think
- 12:33Speaker 2: the signs are there and don't be surprised if he
- 12:36Speaker 2: gets that brac or hatrick in the next three or
- 12:38Speaker 2: four games.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Okay, here comes the Nico O'Reilly Appreciation Society. He has
- 12:45Speaker 1: been sold by over one million managers since gaing week twenty.
- 12:48Speaker 1: This was his best ever fl hole. We had two
- 12:51Speaker 1: goals and of course all three bonus points as a result.
- 12:55Speaker 1: As a Mark Gayey owner, I was so frustrated by
- 12:59Speaker 1: this one because position of Nicko O'Reilly, the role he
- 13:03Speaker 1: is now being asked to play in that Manchester City team.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I mean he was up ahead of Harlem at points
- 13:08Speaker 1: during this game, playing in a more advanced role. I
- 13:12Speaker 1: can't see anything but goals for him coming over the
- 13:14Speaker 1: next few weeks. If he continues to play him in
- 13:17Speaker 1: this advanced position, then he's basically a gift, isn't he
- 13:21Speaker 1: Because he's cheaper than all of the other Manchester City
- 13:23Speaker 1: defenders that you might want to own. He is attacking
- 13:28Speaker 1: at will. Manchester City's defensive numbers are looking better in
- 13:33Speaker 1: recent weeks as well, and of course because he's playing
- 13:35Speaker 1: out of position, if they do keep that clean sheet,
- 13:37Speaker 1: you would benefit from the full four clean sheet points,
- 13:41Speaker 1: and because of that, he is more likely to pick
- 13:44Speaker 1: up the bonus points as well. So it feels like
- 13:46Speaker 1: a whole everything's kind of coming together with the exception
- 13:50Speaker 1: of this unknown game Week thirty one that's kind of
- 13:52Speaker 1: playing out in the background. Because my plan, as people
- 13:57Speaker 1: will have heard, I'm sure on the official problem we've
- 13:58Speaker 1: been talking over the last few weeks, always been to
- 14:00Speaker 1: continue to hold my Manchester City assets because if they
- 14:02Speaker 1: do blank, there's going to them be a double game week.
- 14:06Speaker 1: But Nicko O'Reilly is putting his hand up and going,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I think you could sell Mark gay he ahead of
- 14:11Speaker 1: the blank game week because you can just bring me
- 14:13Speaker 1: back in after the blank. I wish I could bring
- 14:16Speaker 1: him in right now though, because I do think over
- 14:18Speaker 1: the next three weeks we could see some massive returns
- 14:20Speaker 1: from O'Riley.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I have to start with it. Rant I owned him
- 14:25Speaker 2: for about ten weeks. Off those the ones that stick
- 14:29Speaker 2: out in memory was a fifty ninth minute sub when
- 14:31Speaker 2: they kept a clean sheet him coming on the eighty
- 14:33Speaker 2: ninth minute and getting a minus one point and blocking
- 14:36Speaker 2: a clean sheet for me and then just generally losing
- 14:39Speaker 2: a clean sheet. I think he lost one on the
- 14:41Speaker 2: ninety fifth minute for me as well. So now that
- 14:44Speaker 2: that is out of the way, yes, I think he's incredible.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I think if you're playing in that eight position, and
- 14:49Speaker 2: it's not just eight, it's actually the box crashing eight,
- 14:52Speaker 2: which is the guy who does join the attack pretty
- 14:55Speaker 2: much every single time. Makes you an incredible pick. So
- 14:59Speaker 2: if if your belief is that his minutes continue to
- 15:02Speaker 2: remain how they are, and there's no reason not to
- 15:03Speaker 2: because of his form. But I will add a little
- 15:07Speaker 2: bit of a butt here, which is that the MIDWEK
- 15:10Speaker 2: games are back right now. Man City had a mid
- 15:13Speaker 2: week off just before this. They have a midweek off
- 15:16Speaker 2: again after the Newcastle game because they were not in
- 15:19Speaker 2: the qualification rounds in the Champions League. However, from this
- 15:22Speaker 2: weekend they go again weekend midweek. Weken midweek now for
- 15:26Speaker 2: the forstabled future. So when that happens, we've been here
- 15:29Speaker 2: before for the last multiple years with Pep that you
- 15:32Speaker 2: just never know. I mean, ten weeks ago we were
- 15:34Speaker 2: talking about Forden being the ninety minutes man playing every
- 15:37Speaker 2: single game. Where is he now? We were talking about
- 15:39Speaker 2: Cherokee six weeks ago as the guy who's getting a
- 15:42Speaker 2: lot of attacking returns being involved in the attack. Where
- 15:45Speaker 2: is he now? So that's my only caveat that you
- 15:48Speaker 2: just never know. When Rinders starts to get a couple
- 15:51Speaker 2: of games and then you start to panic or is
- 15:53Speaker 2: Lekoraly going to start this game week or not? In isolation, though,
- 15:56Speaker 2: I think he's a fantastic pick. These are the unicorn
- 15:59Speaker 2: picks we love in FBL. Who can get you clean
- 16:01Speaker 2: sheet points, can get you goals, not just assists. And yeah,
- 16:05Speaker 2: I think it's perfect if you have him, very jealous.
- 16:07Speaker 2: If you don't, you can think about getting him. But
- 16:10Speaker 2: there are other defenders you can also get.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Let's talk about Newcastle for a second, because we also
- 16:14Speaker 1: had a defender scoring in this one for them with
- 16:17Speaker 1: his first goal of the season for Llwis Hall. I
- 16:20Speaker 1: don't think Newcastle or a team that I'm really seriously
- 16:23Speaker 1: considering investing in at the moment. I think that the
- 16:26Speaker 1: way that the fixtures are for other teams they look
- 16:30Speaker 1: better than the Newcastle ones. I mean, it's Everton up
- 16:33Speaker 1: next at the weekend before Manchester United, two are in
- 16:36Speaker 1: great form at the moment, and then it's Chelsea before
- 16:40Speaker 1: the derby against Sunderland, the second derby of the season.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Now they want some revenge I'm sure for what for
- 16:45Speaker 1: last time, But nonetheless those next four don't look brilliant
- 16:50Speaker 1: from a Newcastle perspective, and despite the fact that you
- 16:53Speaker 1: would expect them comfortably to go through in the Champions League,
- 16:57Speaker 1: they still have another match to play out against as
- 17:00Speaker 1: a Baijan. Now, I would expect that Adihaw will rotate
- 17:02Speaker 1: that scored quite heavily for that one, given the advantage
- 17:05Speaker 1: that they have going into the game. But nonetheless there's
- 17:08Speaker 1: still another fixture this week, and then the weekend and
- 17:10Speaker 1: then the MIDWEK round. As you say, is there any
- 17:13Speaker 1: interested in any Newcast assets at the minute, because for
- 17:16Speaker 1: me since gamaras his injury, I've lost kind of interest
- 17:20Speaker 1: in investing in Newcastle from an FPL point of view.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing imminent, But I do think for people maybe
- 17:27Speaker 2: like myself, for looking to Wildcatt in Gamemick thirty two,
- 17:30Speaker 2: their home game against some lend in Gamemick thirty one,
- 17:32Speaker 2: presents a good opportunity to what we call dead end,
- 17:35Speaker 2: which is just get that player for that one week
- 17:36Speaker 2: and then wildcut them out. So I think that would
- 17:38Speaker 2: be the only way where I can see myself owning
- 17:40Speaker 2: a Newcastle player in the next three to four weeks.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Later on we'll see what doubles in Blank's picture looks
- 17:46Speaker 2: like but yeah, I think Lewis Hall Gordon keeps coming
- 17:49Speaker 2: back to in the picture because he scored those four
- 17:51Speaker 2: goals incredibly in the mid week in the Champions League,
- 17:54Speaker 2: like he always does in the Champions League, not in
- 17:56Speaker 2: the Premier League. And yeah, I think those are the
- 17:59Speaker 2: two that stick out. I think the other interesting play
- 18:02Speaker 2: with them is just watch Walter Martin's position. He's playing
- 18:06Speaker 2: a lot more in the midfield, which allows in this
- 18:08Speaker 2: game Ilanga and Gordon to almost be the auxiliary strikers
- 18:12Speaker 2: something to monitor in terms of their ship. And if
- 18:14Speaker 2: that continues, Gordon becomes even better, but his minutes are
- 18:17Speaker 2: never that great. So I think those are the two
- 18:20Speaker 2: takeaways for me.
- 18:21Speaker 1: All Right, it's time to talk about Spurs. As much
- 18:24Speaker 1: as I would love to not talk about this game,
- 18:26Speaker 1: I think we mostly have to focus in on it
- 18:27Speaker 1: from an Arsenal perspective, of course, because they are one
- 18:30Speaker 1: of the teams that we were heavily invested in, and
- 18:32Speaker 1: over the last couple of weeks with the double that
- 18:34Speaker 1: they had last time round, we were kind of like, right,
- 18:37Speaker 1: we have to be heavily invested. And then the whole
- 18:39Speaker 1: conversation going into game week twenty seven was what do
- 18:43Speaker 1: you do with these Arsenal assets? Do you keep them?
- 18:45Speaker 1: Do you sell them? Because of course the blank is
- 18:47Speaker 1: coming for them, guaranteed blank in thirty one. Obviously, I
- 18:53Speaker 1: was at the Spur Stadium on Sunday afternoon watching this
- 18:56Speaker 1: one and it was an interesting game to watch from
- 19:00Speaker 1: I was going to say from a kind of neutral perspective,
- 19:02Speaker 1: but clearly I was not neutral in the North London
- 19:04Speaker 1: Derby anything but but I was very impressed by some
- 19:07Speaker 1: of what was going on for Arsenal, and particularly jo
- 19:10Speaker 1: Cerez's performance in this one, very very impressive. His movement
- 19:15Speaker 1: on the pitch, the way that he kind of dealt
- 19:18Speaker 1: with getting in behind that that spurs defense, which is
- 19:21Speaker 1: vulnerable at the best of times, but he exploited that
- 19:24Speaker 1: really well. A couple of goals in this one. He
- 19:27Speaker 1: was quite a popular cell this week because he didn't
- 19:30Speaker 1: perform in that double game week that we had. It
- 19:34Speaker 1: is it's quite interesting to know what to do with
- 19:36Speaker 1: your Arsenal assets now, isn't it? Because last week I
- 19:38Speaker 1: thought about it. I did sell Timber this time around,
- 19:41Speaker 1: but replaced him with Virgil. So I'll take the loss
- 19:43Speaker 1: of the assist, particularly given that he was subbed on
- 19:46Speaker 1: fifty six minutes and so actually only picked up three.
- 19:50Speaker 1: But is interesting with Arsenal because we talked about Chelsea
- 19:54Speaker 1: earlier and their vulnerability, and I do think that the
- 19:56Speaker 1: way that this Arsenal team played against Spurs at the
- 19:58Speaker 1: weekend and the momentum that they will now take from
- 20:01Speaker 1: this game could mean that these Arsenal assets actually a
- 20:04Speaker 1: really good hold for the game against Chelsea.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yes, I do agree with you, and it'll be a
- 20:10Speaker 2: first midweek off for Arsenal after a very long time
- 20:12Speaker 2: because obviously the previous midweek they played their double second
- 20:15Speaker 2: of the double game B twenty six. So I think
- 20:18Speaker 2: it's come at a nice time, this comprehensive win. And yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 2: Asdam put in a great performance. I think they were
- 20:25Speaker 2: a little bit vulnerable at the back, but I don't
- 20:28Speaker 2: want to call that vulnerability. It was more that it
- 20:30Speaker 2: was mistakes. But if you look at open play in general,
- 20:32Speaker 2: I think they controlled the game really well. I think
- 20:35Speaker 2: the fact that Spurs went out with the three at
- 20:38Speaker 2: the back helped your careers in a way because he
- 20:40Speaker 2: could pick sort of he was more stationed closer to Danzo,
- 20:44Speaker 2: who's the weaker of the central defenders than the Van
- 20:46Speaker 2: der Venn and Sokker and Martinelli stretched out the pitch
- 20:51Speaker 2: really well, so I think it worked out in their
- 20:53Speaker 2: favor almost. But you know, Spurs are also still learning
- 20:55Speaker 2: with their new manager in terms of how they shape
- 20:58Speaker 2: up and how they transition in these tougher games. We'll
- 21:01Speaker 2: judge Spurs after they play the easier fixtures or relatively
- 21:05Speaker 2: easier fixtures. But but just finishing on Arsenal, I do
- 21:09Speaker 2: think they're an easy hold. Of course, nobody has to
- 21:12Speaker 2: be held. If there's a confirmed blank game be coming up,
- 21:15Speaker 2: there are other opportunities. But I think if you have
- 21:17Speaker 2: any of Rice, any of their defenders, I think this
- 21:21Speaker 2: week you can definitely hold off because they will be
- 21:24Speaker 2: right up for that Chelsea game.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. From a Spurs perspective, I think you're right.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I mean, I think a lot has been said about
- 21:30Speaker 1: Spurs and injury crisis, and the defense was very much
- 21:33Speaker 1: makeshift at the weekend. Obviously Vanderveen was their captain. The
- 21:35Speaker 1: cyber MAO still suspended dragonson played and actually I thought
- 21:40Speaker 1: did okay, but was definitely the one that they were
- 21:42Speaker 1: targeting because he isn't as quick as as vander benn
- 21:45Speaker 1: At getting back. We will have a number of first
- 21:49Speaker 1: team as back hopefully for the game on Sunday against Fulham.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Expecting to see the likes of Porro back in the
- 21:56Speaker 1: in the in the mix, which will help in terms
- 22:00Speaker 1: of how Tudor wants to set this team up. Little
- 22:03Speaker 1: shout out to Cola Moruani up top. He started the game,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I think mostly because Selanki had a sore throat that
- 22:10Speaker 1: we was reported earlier on in the week. Otherwise, I
- 22:13Speaker 1: think Solanki probably starts that game. But Coole Mowani has
- 22:16Speaker 1: worked with Tudor before a Juventus did incredibly well there scores.
- 22:21Speaker 1: The goal has another one which in my mind was
- 22:24Speaker 1: quite harshly ruled out.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I was like, I was reading for that one.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh really, I mean, yes, he has
- 22:30Speaker 1: two hands on him and by the letter of the law,
- 22:32Speaker 1: yes it gets ruled out. Okay, fine, but he did
- 22:35Speaker 1: barely touch him. It's not like he shoved him over.
- 22:37Speaker 1: He put his hands on him. He fell over, Which
- 22:39Speaker 1: is you know you're going to do that, I guess,
- 22:43Speaker 1: But it's very difficult, I think, to know who's going
- 22:45Speaker 1: to start up top for Spurs, and I think with
- 22:46Speaker 1: the fixtures that Spurs have, yes, there's some better ones
- 22:50Speaker 1: coming and over the coming weeks there's some There's definitely
- 22:53Speaker 1: some defenses that Spurs could get at, but who starts
- 22:56Speaker 1: in that forward position. We saw rechardlesson come back. Selanki
- 22:58Speaker 1: came on for half an hour. Calimuani's there and around.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Hopefully at some point in the next month or so
- 23:05Speaker 1: we're gonna see the return of Mohamma Kudas, which will
- 23:08Speaker 1: make a massive difference as Spurs not to get players back.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Maybe those are the moments then where we want to
- 23:13Speaker 1: start investing. But right now, steer clear and hold your
- 23:17Speaker 1: Asenal assets, I think is what we learn from this one. Yeah,
- 23:20Speaker 1: absolutely enough enough, let's not talk about Spurs anymore. Hopefully
- 23:25Speaker 1: I'll have nicer things to say about them after the weekend.
- 23:28Speaker 1: But let's move to Liverpool because this is a team
- 23:30Speaker 1: that I do think that we want to be looking
- 23:32Speaker 1: to target in on. We both have Virgil delighted to
- 23:36Speaker 1: see that whole coming. Did you bring him in this
- 23:38Speaker 1: week or did you also have him for the whole
- 23:39Speaker 1: last week?
- 23:40Speaker 2: I haven't had him since game week eleven.
- 23:43Speaker 1: You deserve, then you deserved.
- 23:46Speaker 2: The two weeks of every single week he was whether
- 23:49Speaker 2: it's home to Burnley, it was home to Bulls, he
- 23:51Speaker 2: kept conceding one goal, missing out on defensive contribution points
- 23:55Speaker 2: by two or three points. This is where I mean,
- 23:58Speaker 2: you can call it patients or stupidity, where if you
- 24:00Speaker 2: hold on two players long enough they start to become good.
- 24:03Speaker 2: And I do think that the goal was a little
- 24:06Speaker 2: bit lucky in the sense of, you know, I mean,
- 24:09Speaker 2: can we call it lucky? I suppose, so it came
- 24:11Speaker 2: in the last minute, but the clean sheet certainly was
- 24:13Speaker 2: lucky because for log of chances, yeah, exactly, exactly, so
- 24:18Speaker 2: we take it.
- 24:19Speaker 1: We definitely do. I mean, I've owned him for a
- 24:21Speaker 1: little bit earlier on in the season. I bought him
- 24:23Speaker 1: back for this week in replacement for Timber So I
- 24:26Speaker 1: was thrilled about this because I thought, you know, this
- 24:28Speaker 1: is a really good opportunity. I was obviously at the
- 24:31Speaker 1: first stadium, so I didn't watch this game until later
- 24:33Speaker 1: when I got back and I got home, and obviously
- 24:35Speaker 1: he's a massive Liverpool fan and he was like, I
- 24:37Speaker 1: don't know how we've cleaned heated in that game. I
- 24:39Speaker 1: don't know how he called it a heist. That was
- 24:42Speaker 1: his descriptive word for this game. He said, we've basically
- 24:44Speaker 1: gone and robbed Nottingham Forest of three points and run
- 24:48Speaker 1: away with them, because if anything, they deserve to win
- 24:50Speaker 1: the game. So I feel like I was maybe a
- 24:52Speaker 1: little bit lucky with the Virgil. The Virgil pick, but
- 24:56Speaker 1: you you know, I picked him because the fixtures for
- 24:58Speaker 1: Liverpool moving forward are fantastic. I appreciate what you've just
- 25:01Speaker 1: said about the deaf cond dot coming in over a
- 25:03Speaker 1: few weeks, but he always has the scope in him
- 25:05Speaker 1: to pick up those defensive contribution points and we've seen
- 25:09Speaker 1: the aerial threat that he offers from set pieces and
- 25:12Speaker 1: then alongside the potential for just being involved in attacking return.
- 25:16Speaker 1: So Virgil feels like a really good pick over the
- 25:19Speaker 1: next few weeks, and far better than any of the
- 25:20Speaker 1: other Liverpool defenders to own. The transfer that I very
- 25:25Speaker 1: nearly made heading into this one was to bring in
- 25:28Speaker 1: Florian Verts. I really wanted him. I've been waxing lyrical
- 25:31Speaker 1: about him for a couple of weeks now about how
- 25:33Speaker 1: much I like him, ever since I sold him to
- 25:35Speaker 1: bring in Bruno. Finlander's back in game week or I
- 25:39Speaker 1: can't even remember when it was now like three or
- 25:41Speaker 1: four game weeks ago when the Manchester United fixtures swung
- 25:45Speaker 1: and I've wanted a route back to verts ever since,
- 25:47Speaker 1: and my route back to verts has always been from
- 25:49Speaker 1: Enzo or Rice. And obviously I couldn't Celenzo because it
- 25:53Speaker 1: was Burnley, and despite wanting to and Rice, I just
- 25:56Speaker 1: kind of felt like I looked at the XGC numbers
- 25:59Speaker 1: from Spurs from set pieces and thought, I don't think
- 26:02Speaker 1: I can get rid of Rice going into this one.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I think I've got to hold him, so maybe I'll
- 26:07Speaker 1: just give one more week to those two bringing verts afterwards.
- 26:11Speaker 1: In the end, that was lucky for me because obviously
- 26:13Speaker 1: he pulls out of the warm up with a back injury.
- 26:15Speaker 1: We don't really know what that looks like. Yets lots
- 26:18Speaker 1: seemed to suggest that it probably wasn't too bad, but
- 26:21Speaker 1: the trouble with a back injury is you just don't
- 26:24Speaker 1: really know until you start looking at it a little
- 26:26Speaker 1: bit further. So, well, guess we're going to have to
- 26:28Speaker 1: wait and see. No midweek action for Liverpool this week,
- 26:31Speaker 1: so it will be waiting right through till Friday's press
- 26:34Speaker 1: conference to find out what's going on with verts? Is
- 26:38Speaker 1: it possible to go for dom Sa Boslai instead, because
- 26:42Speaker 1: we do know that whatever come, what made dom Bosi
- 26:44Speaker 1: is going to start. The problem we have with him
- 26:47Speaker 1: is is he going to start right back? Is he
- 26:49Speaker 1: going to start in the center of midfield, which is
- 26:51Speaker 1: where we want him. I don't want him starting a
- 26:53Speaker 1: right back and I don't think the Liverpool fans do
- 26:55Speaker 1: either really because he's so important. When he moved into
- 26:58Speaker 1: the midfield, Liverpool looked a lot better. Yeah, he is
- 27:03Speaker 1: on set paces as well, so there's another route to
- 27:05Speaker 1: points ifs isn't available. I could see myself going from
- 27:09Speaker 1: Enzo to suppose lionstead yeap.
- 27:13Speaker 2: So here's here's my perspective on this. In terms of words,
- 27:17Speaker 2: him not being there just affects everybody like they were lost,
- 27:20Speaker 2: especially in that first half, on what to do with
- 27:23Speaker 2: the ball, including with Salah by the way, because we
- 27:25Speaker 2: don't see the same Liverpool where it just get the
- 27:27Speaker 2: ball to Salah. He's going to take on his defender
- 27:29Speaker 2: and then cross and create a chance or shoot. It's
- 27:32Speaker 2: just not the way Liverpool are operating at the moment.
- 27:34Speaker 2: They go a lot of you know, they go centrally,
- 27:36Speaker 2: Gatpo hasn't been as effective. So without Words, it was
- 27:40Speaker 2: it was just not working. And I, as an eqitk
- 27:42Speaker 2: owner who can we can also talk about, was just
- 27:45Speaker 2: watching this and going why do I own akitk if
- 27:47Speaker 2: Words is not playing? So even I, even though I
- 27:50Speaker 2: will not own words, I'm wishing that Words is back.
- 27:53Speaker 2: But to complete the words discussion, even if let's say
- 27:55Speaker 2: Slot says that he's he's better Liverpool play on a Saturday,
- 28:00Speaker 2: and then they play on a Tuesday, because as we said,
- 28:01Speaker 2: gave me twenty nine is a mid week that night,
- 28:04Speaker 2: So does he start both? Does he get ninety minutes
- 28:06Speaker 2: in both? It just puts into question the whole thing.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Then coming to Suboslai, I think we know that Frimpong
- 28:13Speaker 2: could be back, Gomez could be back, and the fact
- 28:17Speaker 2: that you know they reverted to the means. So first
- 28:20Speaker 2: thirty minutes Subosli started it right back. Then he then
- 28:23Speaker 2: Jones came into right back, or they were interchanging a
- 28:25Speaker 2: lot more in Suboslai was getting into the central spaces.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So I think subostl is a good pick if Words
- 28:30Speaker 2: is out, if he's in the he's still an okay pick.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So I'm not saying he's a bad pick regardless, but
- 28:37Speaker 2: I think he would be much better if it would
- 28:39Speaker 2: be words who's out and Frimpog is fit. That's what
- 28:42Speaker 2: I feel for Liverpool in general. But I think with
- 28:44Speaker 2: the fixtures that they have home to west Ham, away
- 28:48Speaker 2: to Wolves, I think those two are just good to target,
- 28:50Speaker 2: regardless of who you get.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels like Liverpool are an invest and I
- 28:55Speaker 1: thought that Nottingham Forest were going to be a d
- 28:56Speaker 1: invest to be honest, when I saw the new manager appointment,
- 28:59Speaker 1: I was thinking, well, the key asset and notting and
- 29:02Speaker 1: Forest so far this season has been Elliott Anderson. He's
- 29:04Speaker 1: been this defensive contribution monster, constantly racking up the point
- 29:10Speaker 1: but got them again in this one, by the way,
- 29:12Speaker 1: the eleventh consecutive match in a row that he's done that.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Three hundred and eighty one defensive contributions this season. He
- 29:18Speaker 1: has got. No other player comes anywhere close and I
- 29:20Speaker 1: wondered whether with the new manager in charge, we might
- 29:24Speaker 1: see a more attacking Nottingham Forest side again, a bit
- 29:27Speaker 1: more like we saw under Anipostacoglu, and maybe that might
- 29:32Speaker 1: have a negative impact on Ellie Anderson. In fact, it didn't.
- 29:36Speaker 1: In fact, I'd say it was quite the opposite. Actually
- 29:38Speaker 1: we saw the still defensive securities of Ellie Anderson, still
- 29:42Speaker 1: picking up the defensive contribution points, but also joining in
- 29:45Speaker 1: the attack. So I think if you've got Elliott Anderson,
- 29:48Speaker 1: he absolutely remains a hold now because of all of
- 29:52Speaker 1: the teams that you have in the league, the ones
- 29:54Speaker 1: that have got something to really fight for, they're the
- 29:56Speaker 1: ones that you want to be investing in, Like you
- 29:58Speaker 1: want to be investing in Manchester City and Arsenal and
- 30:01Speaker 1: the title Charge. You want to be investing in the
- 30:04Speaker 1: Manchester United, the Liverpools, the aston Viders, the Chelsea's, the
- 30:07Speaker 1: ones that are competing for those Champions League spots and
- 30:10Speaker 1: at the bottom, the teams that are fighting to survive.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I feel like there's some good opportunities there, and Elliott
- 30:18Speaker 1: Anderson now feels like a continued hold. And maybe if
- 30:21Speaker 1: you want to change up the way that your investment
- 30:24Speaker 1: looks in your team and you want to go for
- 30:25Speaker 1: a cheaper fifth so that you can have three up top,
- 30:29Speaker 1: maybe Elliot Anderson is exactly what we need.
- 30:33Speaker 2: I don't disagree. I think he's been very consistent getting
- 30:35Speaker 2: a four point floor every single game, and then anything
- 30:38Speaker 2: else you get, whether that's bonus or an assist, just
- 30:41Speaker 2: comes on top is amazing for any player. The only
- 30:45Speaker 2: thing I would say is he was subbed off for
- 30:47Speaker 2: the first time this season, which for people who focus
- 30:51Speaker 2: fixate on expected minutes a lot, was a little bit
- 30:55Speaker 2: of a yellow flag. I want to see it another
- 30:57Speaker 2: couple of games and see is he getting subbed off earlier,
- 30:59Speaker 2: because you know what happens when you get subbed off
- 31:00Speaker 2: before eighteen minutes, your potential for defensive contribution comes down
- 31:04Speaker 2: massively because there's so many of these defensive contributions are
- 31:07Speaker 2: made in the final ten miutes. It didn't happen in
- 31:09Speaker 2: this game. He got his defensive contributions and then was
- 31:11Speaker 2: subbed off. It won't happen every single game, so that's
- 31:14Speaker 2: something to monitor, I feel. But otherwise I think you know,
- 31:17Speaker 2: he is competing now with some other very good mid
- 31:19Speaker 2: priced midfielders, which you will talk about in the main part.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I'm sure Dango Otara you're talking about taviniir or even Ryan.
- 31:27Speaker 2: So there are players that you can get some upside
- 31:30Speaker 2: with goals, that can compete with this floor that Elliott
- 31:33Speaker 2: Anderson brings. With the defensive contributions.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Well, let's move on to another couple of teams then
- 31:39Speaker 1: have those options in Rayan at Bournemouth and also are
- 31:43Speaker 1: kind of competing with Forrest Force staying in the Premier
- 31:46Speaker 1: League next season in west Ham. I did not expect
- 31:49Speaker 1: this game to play as a Neil noldor I bench
- 31:51Speaker 1: CENESSI this week because west Ham have been playing incredibly
- 31:54Speaker 1: well and Bournemouth have been chaos like brilliant games to watch,
- 31:58Speaker 1: high scoring games, but no defensive security, not this time around.
- 32:03Speaker 1: So the goalkeepers both covering themselves in glory in this one.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Petrovich with a clean sheet, two bonus points, three saves
- 32:09Speaker 1: He's made eighty three saves now this season, which only
- 32:12Speaker 1: de Bravka can better. And then at the other end
- 32:15Speaker 1: of the pitch we've got Hermanson, who has taken over
- 32:18Speaker 1: as the west Ham number one, it seems in the
- 32:21Speaker 1: last couple of weeks, second double digit hall since he's
- 32:24Speaker 1: now started starting for them in gamely twenty five, a
- 32:27Speaker 1: clean sheet, five saves and three bonus points. So it
- 32:31Speaker 1: was all about the goalkeepers in this one. They're not
- 32:33Speaker 1: particularly heavily owned, although I know a certain Frenchman on
- 32:36Speaker 1: the official pod who did play the Bournemouth goalkeeper this week,
- 32:39Speaker 1: so he'll be waxing lyrical about him on Thursday, I'm sure.
- 32:43Speaker 1: But it was a defensive It was defensively, particularly from
- 32:47Speaker 1: a west Ham perspective, they were very, very good in
- 32:49Speaker 1: this game, and I think west Ham will consider themselves
- 32:51Speaker 1: incredibly unlucky that they didn't knock out that Bournemouth clean sheet.
- 32:57Speaker 2: They were so close and conceding on most three expected goals.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Is just you know, if you if you started a
- 33:03Speaker 2: Bonemouth defender, I'm not jealous because I benched Hill, you
- 33:06Speaker 2: bench SINESI it was it was lucky, right, I mean
- 33:10Speaker 2: west Ham should have scored. Petrovich kept them in the
- 33:12Speaker 2: game multiple times, and it does actually bode well for
- 33:17Speaker 2: west Ham in general that their performances have taken a
- 33:19Speaker 2: massive updack. But staying with Bonemouth for a second, I
- 33:24Speaker 2: think their performance was typical of what they've shown us,
- 33:27Speaker 2: which is defensively very poor away from home, but very
- 33:30Speaker 2: good at home. And so it's a little bit of
- 33:33Speaker 2: a jackul and Hyde situation going on at Bonnemouth, where
- 33:35Speaker 2: you just play your Bonemouth defenders at home. You don't
- 33:39Speaker 2: have to play them away from home. Obviously they get
- 33:41Speaker 2: kept it lucky clean sheet in this one, but in
- 33:44Speaker 2: general their attack still looks decent. They did create chances. Yes,
- 33:47Speaker 2: west Ham were disciplined, but they did create chances. And
- 33:50Speaker 2: the big one was for me that Tavinir also came
- 33:53Speaker 2: back from an injury and looked fantastic in the final
- 33:56Speaker 2: twenty thirty minutes that he that he got and that
- 33:58Speaker 2: attack just clicks a lot better when teven years in
- 34:01Speaker 2: it with the added flare that the Wiguos bring in
- 34:06Speaker 2: Adli and Ryan who we talked about, So I think
- 34:08Speaker 2: their attack looks good as well if you wanted to
- 34:10Speaker 2: invest in.
- 34:11Speaker 1: It's also really interesting though, isn't it, because with Tamnau
- 34:14Speaker 1: coming back, you kind of have that, well, who's going
- 34:16Speaker 1: to be the player that misses out in order for
- 34:19Speaker 1: him to start the games and as a as somebody
- 34:24Speaker 1: who's looking to change up the way that my midfield
- 34:26Speaker 1: looks in the coming weeks. Rayane has been a player
- 34:29Speaker 1: that I've been really scouting quite heavily. I also have
- 34:32Speaker 1: Croopy Jr. As my third forward and I benched him
- 34:37Speaker 1: this week thinking but I was really I was really
- 34:42Speaker 1: on the fence about that because I kept saying, if
- 34:45Speaker 1: I see the starting eleven and he's in it, I'm
- 34:47Speaker 1: going to really regret this decision because the way that
- 34:50Speaker 1: borne with the scoring goals and creating chances, I do
- 34:53Speaker 1: think that there is a good opportunity for him to
- 34:57Speaker 1: to really excel in this time. He'd been ninety minutes
- 35:00Speaker 1: and he played the ninety minutes. So when Tavania came on,
- 35:03Speaker 1: he didn't come on for ray Ann or for Creepy Junior.
- 35:07Speaker 1: He came on Forever Nilsen. So there is a slight
- 35:10Speaker 1: concern now going into the next few weeks as to
- 35:12Speaker 1: where and how Bournemouth set up, because they do have
- 35:15Speaker 1: a lot of really decent options in that forward line.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I think Rayann has done enough over the last few
- 35:20Speaker 1: weeks to get the starts, but maybe there's the odd
- 35:23Speaker 1: one here or there that he doesn't maybe there's some
- 35:25Speaker 1: rotation around with Creepy Junior and ever Nilson, because I'd
- 35:28Speaker 1: expect to have an ear to come back in and start.
- 35:31Speaker 1: So I am probably now just going to wait a
- 35:34Speaker 1: week on Bournemouth's midfield, see how they play out in
- 35:37Speaker 1: the weekend's actions, and then try and make a decision
- 35:39Speaker 1: before game week twenty nine, but given it's a midweek
- 35:42Speaker 1: round again, maybe we see a little bit more rotation
- 35:45Speaker 1: because those two games come thick and fast.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I mean, I think you summarized it really well. It's
- 35:49Speaker 2: difficult to go for any one of them at the moment.
- 35:52Speaker 2: If you have them, hold them, be optimistic, but you
- 35:55Speaker 2: can't be sure on their minutes because Irela loves Zevan
- 36:00Speaker 2: Wilson and so if he gets sixty odd minutes then
- 36:05Speaker 2: and he loves Tavinier, So who does the minutes come
- 36:08Speaker 2: out from. So I think you're right to say that
- 36:10Speaker 2: you can wait and if you have to make a
- 36:12Speaker 2: decision this week, I think it's okay to be a
- 36:14Speaker 2: little bit skeptical on the minutes and have high error
- 36:17Speaker 2: bars and just go, you know what, I don't have
- 36:19Speaker 2: to be the first one there.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Yeah. A little word on west Ham because the next
- 36:24Speaker 1: three or four fixtures really are such a shame because
- 36:28Speaker 1: otherwise I would definitely be buying a west Ham attacking assets.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Probably some of ill to be honest, because I've been
- 36:33Speaker 1: loving the way that he's been playing. But Liverpool up
- 36:36Speaker 1: next before Fulham and midweek Manchester City and then aston Villa.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Those next forward games are really difficult for west Ham.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Jarrah Bowen proving to be the defensive monster of the
- 36:46Speaker 1: forward line, picking up defensive contribution points again and now
- 36:49Speaker 1: has eight for the season, which is more than anyone
- 36:52Speaker 1: else in those attacking in the forward positions. It's difficult, though,
- 36:56Speaker 1: isn't it with west Ham? Given those pictures. I think
- 36:57Speaker 1: if you have a west Ham asset, if you have
- 37:00Speaker 1: Somerville or Bowen or anyone like that in your team,
- 37:03Speaker 1: then you hold them, probably because they do have momentum,
- 37:07Speaker 1: they have fight, they've got something to be playing for,
- 37:10Speaker 1: which is important. But I don't think you're going to
- 37:12Speaker 1: invest given the four fixtures that.
- 37:14Speaker 2: They have in the coming weeks agreed and nothing else
- 37:17Speaker 2: to add. I think if you have them, keep them,
- 37:20Speaker 2: otherwise no'll need to invest.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Let's move on to your team then, because this is
- 37:24Speaker 1: a team that I are very very nearly captain Bruno
- 37:28Speaker 1: this week Pras I so nearly did. It was between
- 37:32Speaker 1: Sameno and Bruno and I was back and forward and
- 37:34Speaker 1: back and forward, and I quite liked the idea of
- 37:36Speaker 1: still having the captain to play on Monday night and
- 37:39Speaker 1: Everton at home in recent weeks have really struggled despite
- 37:43Speaker 1: having a fantastic start to the season at the Hill
- 37:46Speaker 1: Dickinson Stadium, recently their home form has been their problem
- 37:50Speaker 1: and so I was thinking, well, this is a really
- 37:53Speaker 1: good opportunity and in the end glad I didn't because
- 37:55Speaker 1: no death con for Bruno in this one, in fact
- 37:58Speaker 1: picks up the yellow card and only gets the two,
- 38:00Speaker 1: so that's frustrating. In Bomo's owners though, it's five attacking
- 38:04Speaker 1: returns and six for him now, so he feels like
- 38:07Speaker 1: the right Manchester United midfielder to have. But Bruno is
- 38:12Speaker 1: Bruno and next week it could be very different.
- 38:15Speaker 2: I think so as well. Yes, so I own both
- 38:18Speaker 2: in Bumo and Bruno and happy with in Bumo's points,
- 38:21Speaker 2: although I have to say that it wasn't his best game.
- 38:25Speaker 2: You know, he did end up getting obviously that attacking return,
- 38:29Speaker 2: but and he had a big chance. So when you're
- 38:31Speaker 2: paying striker for an attacking team, of course you will
- 38:35Speaker 2: get those opportunities. But I did think that Kunia had
- 38:38Speaker 2: a very good game. I thought Bruno himself, like he
- 38:41Speaker 2: always does, has had a good consistent game. Ahmad had
- 38:44Speaker 2: a very poor one. So actually in the next game,
- 38:46Speaker 2: I'm expecting Cesco to start in Bumo to be on
- 38:49Speaker 2: the right and Cunia to be on the left. We
- 38:51Speaker 2: will see. But in terms of Bruno, look last couple
- 38:54Speaker 2: of game weeks, I feel Cunia has stolen his thunder
- 38:58Speaker 2: a little bit in terms of taking shots, because Bruno
- 39:00Speaker 2: has completely dried up in terms of shot taking. His
- 39:03Speaker 2: x G two game weeks ago was zero. Last night
- 39:06Speaker 2: was zero point zero three, which essentially means he's had
- 39:09Speaker 2: one pop shot in the last two games.
- 39:10Speaker 1: It got matter, let's take the positives.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It agrees it's on a right trajectory, which means he
- 39:14Speaker 2: left two pop shots in the next round. I think
- 39:17Speaker 2: with Bruno, I think you can say goodbye to defensive
- 39:20Speaker 2: contribution points in this new role Undercarrock, He's not getting many,
- 39:24Speaker 2: and I think he ended up with one or two
- 39:27Speaker 2: out of twelve that he needs. So you know, the
- 39:29Speaker 2: whole thing of Bruno's route two points, well, that route
- 39:33Speaker 2: is a little bit closed at the moment, but he
- 39:35Speaker 2: has more roots in attack. If it's a game against
- 39:38Speaker 2: Crystal Palace, which we're talking about next week, which you
- 39:40Speaker 2: guys will discuss in the main part, but I'm thinking
- 39:43Speaker 2: Crystal Palace have their own problems going on at the moment,
- 39:45Speaker 2: so they will they will enjoy playing them. I do
- 39:49Speaker 2: think Manorited don't do as well against teams that give
- 39:52Speaker 2: them the ball and against Bristal Palace will do the same.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Everton did the same. When Manuited have the ball over
- 39:57Speaker 2: fifty percent of position. They don't really know what to
- 39:59Speaker 2: do do with it, so they'll work on it. They
- 40:02Speaker 2: will have another free midweek they will work on it
- 40:04Speaker 2: and Palas will have a game midweek. So is Bruno
- 40:07Speaker 2: captaincy shout home to Palace. Absolutely, He's my current bus
- 40:11Speaker 2: team captain.
- 40:12Speaker 1: For Rembalmo because you've got both.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Yes, because I just feel Bruno has the route two points.
- 40:18Speaker 2: He will still take those set pieces, he will still
- 40:21Speaker 2: take that penalty if they win one, and ultimately he
- 40:24Speaker 2: can still get that goal. It was in Boomo who
- 40:26Speaker 2: got one or an assist this game, but there's no
- 40:29Speaker 2: reason to say Bruno won't do it in the next game.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Sasca is the interesting one here for me because obviously
- 40:34Speaker 1: as a Bruno owner, very happy to hold him and
- 40:37Speaker 1: Manchester United are a team that I think are really
- 40:40Speaker 1: helpful to us in FPL because the fixtures are nice ish.
- 40:45Speaker 1: There's some difficult games in there, but most of the
- 40:47Speaker 1: fixtures are quite nice for Mansternite over the next few weeks,
- 40:50Speaker 1: starting with Crystal Palace this time, and then like you say,
- 40:52Speaker 1: Newcastle have been busy playing lots of matches in the
- 40:56Speaker 1: midweek next week. Rilla's defense haven't been solid, Bournemous defense
- 40:59Speaker 1: have been solid, and then its leads and then Chelsea's
- 41:02Speaker 1: defense who haven't been solid. So I think, you know,
- 41:04Speaker 1: on paper, you'd look at those pictures and go okay,
- 41:07Speaker 1: well maybe they're a little bit mixed, But the reality
- 41:09Speaker 1: of those fixtures is I think there's goals in there
- 41:11Speaker 1: for Manchester United. So I'm very happy as a Bruno
- 41:14Speaker 1: Fernanderzona to just hold him and I'll probably hold him
- 41:17Speaker 1: right the way through to the end of the season
- 41:18Speaker 1: barring an injury. But I am looking at Manchester United
- 41:22Speaker 1: as the team in the league that are in good form,
- 41:24Speaker 1: that don't have any other commitments outside of these last
- 41:28Speaker 1: Premier League matches, and thinking this is a team that
- 41:31Speaker 1: I would like to double up on now defensively, maybe
- 41:35Speaker 1: I could go there. And I think if Dorgo was fit,
- 41:37Speaker 1: the world and its wife would have invested in Doorgu
- 41:39Speaker 1: over the last few weeks. But Cesco is really intriguing
- 41:42Speaker 1: to me because he's one. If Manchester United had a
- 41:44Speaker 1: guaranteed starting forward every single week, you just buy them
- 41:48Speaker 1: because the fixtures are there. The problem is we haven't
- 41:51Speaker 1: had that. But he's coming off the bench and getting
- 41:53Speaker 1: points on a regular basis now and there was definitely
- 41:57Speaker 1: in his celebration last night a I need to I
- 42:01Speaker 1: want you to start me. There was definitely a kind
- 42:04Speaker 1: of a Carrick moment of like, I'm here and you
- 42:08Speaker 1: could start me up top. I'm not going to do
- 42:11Speaker 1: it anytime soon because I think you have to wait
- 42:13Speaker 1: until we see a consistent amount of starts from him.
- 42:17Speaker 1: But if we start seeing consistent starts from Cesco and
- 42:21Speaker 1: then the continuation of these returns that he's been picking
- 42:23Speaker 1: up when coming off the bench, he will be very
- 42:26Speaker 1: popular to FPR managers. It's just it's too risky to
- 42:29Speaker 1: go there now. But in the coming weeks, I think
- 42:32Speaker 1: he could be one that we look at if he's starting.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Maybe want to monitor. AMD did have a poor game,
- 42:37Speaker 2: I felt, and when you know, Ahmad's great in transition,
- 42:40Speaker 2: so when you play the tougher teams, I think Ammad's great,
- 42:42Speaker 2: but I think when you have when you play a
- 42:44Speaker 2: team that sits back. I do think we will start
- 42:47Speaker 2: to see this team where Sesco starts. But again, like
- 42:49Speaker 2: I said, Man United have two games in four or
- 42:52Speaker 2: five days. Again because of the mid week game week,
- 42:54Speaker 2: I don't see Sesco starting both.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Just a quick word on Patis then, because they're Manchester
- 42:58Speaker 1: United's opponents at the WA they played one nail draw
- 43:02Speaker 1: against Wolves, maybe that defense was a little bit lucky.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Muna's owners considered themselves fortunate that Dean Henderson saves that
- 43:09Speaker 1: penalty because if it's not for him, then they obviously
- 43:12Speaker 1: concede and the Munho's clean sheet goes again requires you
- 43:18Speaker 1: back from midweek. According to Glasner, that will obviously help
- 43:21Speaker 1: that back line. But I still don't think that this
- 43:23Speaker 1: is a defense that I want to be investing in,
- 43:24Speaker 1: particularly ahead of a game against Manchester United.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Agreed. I don't get good vibes from the team, from
- 43:30Speaker 2: the manager, and I think it's not a team that
- 43:32Speaker 2: you want to invest in. Do you need to absolutely
- 43:34Speaker 2: fire or cell No, not really. Their fixtures are okay,
- 43:37Speaker 2: especially they have a Leeds at home fixture coming up,
- 43:39Speaker 2: but I think if you're looking to investor or play,
- 43:42Speaker 2: I think consider benching, especially this week.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Do you know a player that I'm considering benching or
- 43:48Speaker 1: at least losing my temper with, and that is Morgan
- 43:50Speaker 1: Rogers because Aston Villa player are one one draw with
- 43:54Speaker 1: leads in this one. What a goal by Anton Stack
- 43:56Speaker 1: by the way, just a little shout out to him.
- 43:59Speaker 1: But Roger, this is so frustrating. I've owned him for
- 44:02Speaker 1: weeks and weeks and the fixtures remain lovely, and so
- 44:05Speaker 1: because of that you kind of look at him and
- 44:07Speaker 1: you go, can't really sell you because the fixtures are really,
- 44:10Speaker 1: really nice. But that's one goal in ten matches now
- 44:13Speaker 1: for Morgan Rodgers. And of the twenty eight shots that
- 44:16Speaker 1: he's had in this period, only one of them has
- 44:18Speaker 1: been defined as a big chance. So he's not exactly
- 44:21Speaker 1: in great form. Have you got Rogers? What are you doing?
- 44:24Speaker 1: Are you as frustrated as I am?
- 44:26Speaker 2: I don't have Rogers and every week I go into it,
- 44:29Speaker 2: you know, watching Villa's attack. I'm never you know, when
- 44:32Speaker 2: it's Chelsea and Joan Pedro Palmer, I'm at the edge
- 44:35Speaker 2: of my seat because I'm nervous when it's Rogers. And
- 44:38Speaker 2: this is the test really, you know, like the Foremo test.
- 44:41Speaker 2: I'm never afraid of Rogers not owning him. Of course
- 44:44Speaker 2: he gets goals, he's taking shots, but it's never huge
- 44:47Speaker 2: chances like you said, just won in the last ten games.
- 44:51Speaker 2: But look, he's still a good option and he's still talismanic.
- 44:54Speaker 2: But it's just that Villa don't score that many goals.
- 44:56Speaker 2: They don't create as much exchiees. So I think it's
- 44:58Speaker 2: okay to have him. He does have a great fixture
- 45:00Speaker 2: in game week thirty one. If you were one of
- 45:02Speaker 2: those planners and looking at the blank game week, you
- 45:05Speaker 2: might want to hold him. He does have a Wolves
- 45:07Speaker 2: game this week as well on a Friday, so I
- 45:10Speaker 2: think he's okay to hold. But I get the frustration.
- 45:12Speaker 1: It'll probably start my Friday hour off badly because it's
- 45:15Speaker 1: one of those where I look at him every week
- 45:17Speaker 1: and I think, right, there should be an attacking return
- 45:19Speaker 1: for you. And then it gets to the end of
- 45:21Speaker 1: every game weekend he's got two points and I think,
- 45:23Speaker 1: what is the point of this? Every week two points?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Because nine times out of ten, somebody on my bench
- 45:28Speaker 1: that I've benched to play Morgan Wodgers has got more
- 45:31Speaker 1: than two points this week it was SONESSI it's frustrating,
- 45:35Speaker 1: but it's Wolves up next in a derby game on
- 45:38Speaker 1: Friday evening, so I'm definitely going to give him this one.
- 45:40Speaker 1: But I am getting to the point where if I
- 45:43Speaker 1: don't start to see the underlying numbers looking better, because
- 45:45Speaker 1: it's not just shot, it's big chances, and it's big
- 45:48Speaker 1: chances created that I'm interested in. And if I don't
- 45:50Speaker 1: see those improving, there's a lot of midfielders that I'd
- 45:53Speaker 1: like even more. Some of them come from a team
- 45:56Speaker 1: that I was very shocked to see lose this week
- 46:00Speaker 1: in Brentford because despite you know how well they've been playing,
- 46:06Speaker 1: Brighton have been quite the opposite in recent weeks, but
- 46:08Speaker 1: this game was a complete role reversal. Now having spoken
- 46:11Speaker 1: to some Brentford fans, they all tell me it's because
- 46:14Speaker 1: Michael Coyode missed the game. He's so important. He missed
- 46:17Speaker 1: out not just in terms of the long throws, but
- 46:19Speaker 1: in terms of the way that they progress the ball,
- 46:21Speaker 1: and actually when I had a look at him, his
- 46:23Speaker 1: final third touches are the most of in that Brentford side,
- 46:26Speaker 1: so he is very, very important the way that they
- 46:29Speaker 1: move forward we have to kind of hope that he's okay.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I guess then, as Tiago or Dang or anybody else
- 46:36Speaker 1: from Brentford's owners, apparently it was a problem with his
- 46:38Speaker 1: back as well. Back seem to have been the problem
- 46:40Speaker 1: this week. But yeah, as a new Tiago owner, I
- 46:45Speaker 1: was very very disappointed. His only goal in the last
- 46:48Speaker 1: six weeks now that penalty goal against Newcastle. But in
- 46:51Speaker 1: this one he does have one that just goes over
- 46:54Speaker 1: the bar. He has a headed opportunity. Maybe he's a
- 46:56Speaker 1: little bit unlucky.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. Look, I think, like you mentioned,
- 47:01Speaker 2: their performance against Arsenal got a lot of us noticing exciting,
- 47:05Speaker 2: and then they go out and then they go out
- 47:07Speaker 2: and put this performance. I think let's call it a
- 47:09Speaker 2: blip for now. Their fixtures are incredible. They play Burnley, Bonemouth,
- 47:13Speaker 2: Roles and leads in the next four, which is really
- 47:16Speaker 2: really good. So I am hoping the open play thread
- 47:19Speaker 2: from Thiago comes back. I can also confess to making
- 47:22Speaker 2: an early transfer for Enzo to Dango, who I also
- 47:25Speaker 2: wanted in that team as the develop So let's hope
- 47:28Speaker 2: that things improve and Coyotes back in business.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Yeah, both Dango and Sharda both interesting pickcause I think
- 47:34Speaker 1: in the midfield Child obviously doesn't start this one, and
- 47:37Speaker 1: I was between the two of them as an Enzo
- 47:40Speaker 1: replacement potentially as well, thinking well I would like one
- 47:43Speaker 1: of them, but I'm not really sure who. When Shada
- 47:45Speaker 1: was benched, I thought, well they go, that's decision made,
- 47:47Speaker 1: or just get Dango. Actually Shada comes on at halftime
- 47:50Speaker 1: for Quinos Poster and I did think made a difference,
- 47:55Speaker 1: like it looked better with Charda there. So I still
- 47:59Speaker 1: think Dango is the best pick, but Shard is definitely
- 48:01Speaker 1: always there in the back of my mind as an
- 48:03Speaker 1: option that you could go to. Let's finish up then
- 48:06Speaker 1: on Sunderland versus Fulham, because as a roof So owner,
- 48:09Speaker 1: I was banking on this clean sheet. This was a
- 48:12Speaker 1: home clean sheet against the Fulham side that haven't been
- 48:15Speaker 1: set in the world on fire in terms of goal
- 48:17Speaker 1: scored over recent weeks, so I thought, right, here we go,
- 48:20Speaker 1: he's at least six points from my goalkeeper. No, that
- 48:24Speaker 1: didn't happen in the end, maybe because Mikhayale was forced
- 48:28Speaker 1: off in the eleventh minute with a calf injury. That
- 48:31Speaker 1: is worrying me as a roof Tayinger moving forwards.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, just like you mentioned with Coyote, I
- 48:36Speaker 2: think Mukhala is so important to them both defensively and
- 48:39Speaker 2: from an attacking standpoint, so I think that was not ideal.
- 48:42Speaker 2: I also played Alderette and it was not great, and
- 48:45Speaker 2: after weeks of getting outscored by Mouchiele, I was like, Okay,
- 48:48Speaker 2: if he's gone off, Aldoretta should outscore him. He also
- 48:51Speaker 2: gets a one pointer, right. I think that the main
- 48:53Speaker 2: talking point in this one was Harry Wilson getting defensive
- 48:56Speaker 2: contribution points pretty much by halftime, which was incredible for him.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Gotten his sister as well, so that was nice and
- 49:03Speaker 2: a bonus. So I think that's good. He's going to
- 49:06Speaker 2: be popular as well as one of the midfield picks
- 49:08Speaker 2: that we've talked about in relation to the Bournemouth ones
- 49:10Speaker 2: to the Brentford one, so I think that's those are
- 49:14Speaker 2: the real things to talk about. I'm not sure many
- 49:16Speaker 2: people are going for sun Olympics at the moment.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Anyway, No, I don't think so little shouts around him.
- 49:21Speaker 1: And as just before we end, that is his one
- 49:24Speaker 1: hundred percent Premier League penalty record maintained thirteen goals from
- 49:28Speaker 1: thirteen penalties very impressive. Fulham have Spurs up next and
- 49:32Speaker 1: that defense has been very vulnerable. I'll watch it a lot.
- 49:36Speaker 1: It's not very good and so that Fulham attack could
- 49:39Speaker 1: easily do well in this one. I don't necessarily think
- 49:41Speaker 1: we'll see defensive contribution points from Harry Wilson against Spurs though,
- 49:44Speaker 1: but maybe we see some attack in return. So yeah,
- 49:47Speaker 1: Fulham putting themselves on the radar because their fixtures are
- 49:50Speaker 1: really nice moving forward. So if you've sold Harry Wilson
- 49:53Speaker 1: in recent weeks, he could be a really nice option
- 49:55Speaker 1: to reinvest in that midfield.
- 49:58Speaker 2: So we do remember that we you won't have all
- 50:00Speaker 2: the big teams playing Champions League and other European competitions
- 50:04Speaker 2: this week, but Newcastle, Forest and Palace are in action,
- 50:06Speaker 2: and by the end of this week we'll also have
- 50:08Speaker 2: the draws for these European competitions, so we'll know who's
- 50:11Speaker 2: traveling where and when and how that impacts our FBL
- 50:15Speaker 2: decision making. So it might be time for some patients
- 50:18Speaker 2: with those transfers.
- 50:19Speaker 1: And if you can be patient, Jews, Kelly and I
- 50:21Speaker 1: will be back on Thursday. We'll be focusing in on
- 50:23Speaker 1: fixt to swings that are happening right now, the teams
- 50:27Speaker 1: that are benefiting from them and those that aren't, as
- 50:29Speaker 1: well as discussing the best chip strategy to target.
- 50:32Speaker 2: For the running interesting tip strategy. And if you haven't
- 50:35Speaker 2: done already, don't forget to join the FPL POD Mini League.
- 50:38Speaker 2: The code is x y six XPL Sam. It's been
- 50:42Speaker 2: great chatting with you. Good luck for this week.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Oh pras fingers crossed for some green arrows and three
- 50:47Speaker 1: points for both of our teams. Indeed you like everyone
