Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You know what's why he tells you why marximone he's
- 0:04Speaker 1: on sevent ten wor.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Well, Hey, besides fake news, there's hidden news. They like
- 0:16Speaker 2: to hide it. They don't want anybody to know about it.
- 0:18Speaker 2: And there's a couple of big stories yesterday that the
- 0:21Speaker 2: media had to carefully hide make sure nobody heard about it.
- 0:24Speaker 2: One was the Southern Poverty Law Center, you know, this
- 0:29Speaker 2: fake organization. Yeah, you should point out that Southern Poverty
- 0:32Speaker 2: Law Center in the previous century, especially in the sixties
- 0:36Speaker 2: and seventies, had been a good organization. It was trying
- 0:40Speaker 2: to keep the clan and other terrible things away from
- 0:43Speaker 2: certain Southern cities. They were trying to protect people. That's
- 0:47Speaker 2: back in the fifties, sixties, seventies. Somewhere at the turn
- 0:52Speaker 2: of the century, at the end of the nineties, maybe
- 0:56Speaker 2: the late nineties, people got a hold of it and
- 0:59Speaker 2: said we could it is this organization. It became a
- 1:02Speaker 2: left wing propaganda site. And if you were watching the
- 1:06Speaker 2: old MSNBC back in the Keith Oberman days, or you're
- 1:10Speaker 2: listening to Air America with Al Franken, you remember all
- 1:13Speaker 2: that stuff back in the George Bush George W. Bush era,
- 1:18Speaker 2: they would always quote these Southern Poverty Law Center study
- 1:21Speaker 2: shows that, and they would quote this organization as if
- 1:26Speaker 2: it were some prestigious organization. It was a left wing, cheap,
- 1:31Speaker 2: left wing propaganda site. And they would declare anything republican,
- 1:35Speaker 2: anything conservative as a hate group MSNBC or CNN. And
- 1:42Speaker 2: then that fake Wikipedia, which is Wikipedia is the most
- 1:45Speaker 2: left wing slanted by a site in the world. They
- 1:48Speaker 2: would always any legitimate religious groups or anything Republican. There's
- 1:55Speaker 2: been officially declared a hate group by the Southern Poverty
- 1:58Speaker 2: Law Center. There's officially as a hate group, and you
- 2:02Speaker 2: see a lot of that in Wikipedia. Well, it turns
- 2:03Speaker 2: out we always knew it was a left wing slanted place,
- 2:08Speaker 2: but it turns out not only were they slanting and
- 2:11Speaker 2: biased and lying, but according to the accusations actually indictments,
- 2:16Speaker 2: the Southern Poverty Low Center was now secretly paying people
- 2:22Speaker 2: Nazi groups. There are very few Nazi groups are claned. Luckily,
- 2:25Speaker 2: there's very few of these people. It's just a handful
- 2:29Speaker 2: and white supremacist there's like twelve of them in the country,
- 2:32Speaker 2: some in the Appalachian Mountains, some in the federal prisons.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But that's about it. But they were finding these people
- 2:37Speaker 2: and paying them Southern poverty los Center, paying them to
- 2:41Speaker 2: cause riots, caused disruptions. They paid them to go to
- 2:45Speaker 2: Charlottesville and create trouble. And by having paid them to
- 2:50Speaker 2: show up someplace and created a disturbance, it it was
- 2:55Speaker 2: the way Joe Biden was able to campaign. Remember when
- 2:58Speaker 2: Joe Biden launched his president campaign, it was about Charlottesville.
- 3:02Speaker 2: It was about fighting white supremacy, which wasn't a problem anywhere.
- 3:07Speaker 2: And that's the whole Biden campaign was about white supremacy,
- 3:10Speaker 2: even throughout his presidency. You make these speeches about white
- 3:12Speaker 2: supremacy and it would con people. I remember at the time,
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'm watching Good Day New York and Biden said it
- 3:20Speaker 2: so many times that Rosanna Scato says to the police
- 3:24Speaker 2: commissioner Dermott McShay was the commissioner at the time, New
- 3:27Speaker 2: York City Police commissioner. She said, what about this white supremacy?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Probably how bad is it New York? And I give
- 3:34Speaker 2: him credit. He said, you know, I really don't know anything.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Let me let me check into it, let me investigate.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I'll get back to you tomorrow. So the next day
- 3:42Speaker 2: in Good Day New York, she says, we've gotten a
- 3:45Speaker 2: response from the police commissioner. He investigated. Here's his response.
- 3:49Speaker 2: He wrote us a letter, and she read it. She said,
- 3:52Speaker 2: the New York City Police commissioner said, our department has
- 3:56Speaker 2: never encountered a white supremacist in New York City. It's
- 4:00Speaker 2: just a non existent thing being pushed by this crazy
- 4:04Speaker 2: Southern Poverty Law Center. So the Justice Department finally went
- 4:07Speaker 2: after them. They got a hold of some whistleblowers who
- 4:10Speaker 2: testified under oath to the Justice depart battle this stuff.
- 4:14Speaker 2: They took it into a grand jury. People testified under oath.
- 4:18Speaker 2: The grand jury has indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center
- 4:21Speaker 2: with eleven indictments, and it's pretty serious stuff. Now. You
- 4:26Speaker 2: could go watch the news last night. You didn't see anything,
- 4:31Speaker 2: nothing about nothing, nothing, nothing. Now, the New York Times
- 4:34Speaker 2: tried to do a little damage control for them and
- 4:37Speaker 2: talked about the fine work that they do, but they
- 4:41Speaker 2: never gave you the full or real story about the
- 4:43Speaker 2: whole thing. Now, the other covered up story. Do you
- 4:48Speaker 2: remember we were talking about this last week? Iran has
- 4:52Speaker 2: been executing protesters. This has been going on for about
- 4:57Speaker 2: eight nine months, almost a year. During the rebellions over there.
- 5:01Speaker 2: They shot forty thousand protesters in the street. Some of
- 5:05Speaker 2: them didn't die, some of them ended up in the hospital,
- 5:08Speaker 2: and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard was sent into the hospitals
- 5:13Speaker 2: to shoot these people in their hospital bed. If they
- 5:15Speaker 2: hadn't died, just shoot them right in the head. They've
- 5:19Speaker 2: been executing protesters, thirty forty thousand of them. And last
- 5:22Speaker 2: week there were four was it eight? And it was
- 5:25Speaker 2: eight additional protesters, young women, nice looking, young women in
- 5:30Speaker 2: their twenties, thirties, protesters. They were captured. They were going
- 5:35Speaker 2: to be executed in public. They were going to hang
- 5:38Speaker 2: them in public. Can you imagine that? Can you hear
- 5:45Speaker 2: the screaming? Oh god, I hear these kids out there screaming,
- 5:48Speaker 2: it's bring your kid to work day? And then a
- 5:51Speaker 2: soundproof studio. I got still here, these little brat. I mean,
- 5:54Speaker 2: I could still hear these children out there. So where
- 5:57Speaker 2: was I.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Oh?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, they were going to execute these women, eight of them.
- 6:00Speaker 2: They're going to hang them in public, televise it. Hang
- 6:04Speaker 2: these women. Now, all the Democrats women's groups in America
- 6:08Speaker 2: buried their head in the sand. They don't want to
- 6:10Speaker 2: know about it. They don't to do anything about it.
- 6:11Speaker 2: So President Trump is trying to restart the negotiations with Iran,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and he apparently went to the Iranian delegation and pleaded
- 6:21Speaker 2: with them not to execute these women and said, if
- 6:25Speaker 2: you don't execute them, cancel this execution. It'll be a
- 6:28Speaker 2: very good start for you. It'll be a good thing
- 6:30Speaker 2: in the negotiation. He does that a lot. It's one
- 6:33Speaker 2: of his tactics. When you're negotiating with a really tough opponent,
- 6:37Speaker 2: Iran or somebody, you ask for something before the negotiation,
- 6:40Speaker 2: just say just give me this, and it'll put you
- 6:44Speaker 2: ahead of me. I'll owe you going into the negotiation.
- 6:46Speaker 2: It sounds good to the other side, so they do it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So they canceled the execution. After Trump pleaded with them,
- 6:53Speaker 2: they announced they would not execute these women. The eight
- 6:57Speaker 2: protesters who are going to be executed tonight in Iran
- 6:59Speaker 2: will will no longer be killed. This according to the
- 7:02Speaker 2: White House, four will be released immediately and the other
- 7:07Speaker 2: four will be sentenced to one month in prison. That's
- 7:09Speaker 2: an amazing story that he stopped their execution and got
- 7:14Speaker 2: their freedom, and even more amazing, it didn't make the news,
- 7:20Speaker 2: didn't get reported anywhere. It wasn't on the news. Now,
- 7:23Speaker 2: no reporting except for the New York Times did one
- 7:27Speaker 2: of their fake stories. Wow, it was never clear that
- 7:29Speaker 2: they were going to be executed. We think that was
- 7:31Speaker 2: fake news the whole story to begin with. We don't
- 7:33Speaker 2: know that there was going to be any execution, all right,
- 7:36Speaker 2: what do you think about this? The House committee that's
- 7:39Speaker 2: investigating the Epstein stuff, apparently it's talked to Gallaine Maxwell
- 7:45Speaker 2: and they're thinking of getting her a pardon. The House
- 7:49Speaker 2: Committee could go to the President and ask him to
- 7:52Speaker 2: pardon Gallaine Maxwell. Now this would be in exchange for
- 7:56Speaker 2: telling everything she knows about Epstein everything. What do you think. Well,
- 8:02Speaker 2: in the committee, half the people are for it, half
- 8:05Speaker 2: the people are against it. They're totally split on whether
- 8:08Speaker 2: to get her a pardon. Now, the Epstein files are
- 8:12Speaker 2: up online. It's like six million pages literally, and it
- 8:16Speaker 2: has a search bar. You can search anything in there,
- 8:20Speaker 2: and it's pretty detailed. Now, I got a couple of
- 8:24Speaker 2: friends who are very, very very tied up with Epstein,
- 8:29Speaker 2: very close to Epstein, and a couple of them I
- 8:32Speaker 2: knew were involved in the women, not young Girls, the
- 8:36Speaker 2: young Girls was Epstein personally. Most of these guys it
- 8:39Speaker 2: was just women. So I'd go to the Epstein files
- 8:43Speaker 2: and I would look them up and the boy. I mean,
- 8:47Speaker 2: it's pretty juicy the stuff in there. So you can
- 8:49Speaker 2: read these Epstein files about him and the women and
- 8:53Speaker 2: all these the sleazy guys writ and back and forth.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I don't know why, but they put all this in writing.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I would never tell that stuff or put that in
- 9:01Speaker 2: an email, but they did back and forth talking about
- 9:04Speaker 2: these women. And then there was a million other things
- 9:07Speaker 2: in the file about him a lot. He was a
- 9:10Speaker 2: big stuck Like a lot of wealthy guys, they get starstruck.
- 9:13Speaker 2: They're the most starstruck people in the world, these billionaires.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And if they can latch onto any celebrity and try
- 9:20Speaker 2: to get them to come to their dinners, come to
- 9:22Speaker 2: their lunches, meet their friends, come to their parties, they'll
- 9:25Speaker 2: do it. And some were vulnerable, like Woody Allen, had
- 9:29Speaker 2: nothing to do with women. Woody Allen, after his scandal
- 9:33Speaker 2: years ago, could not get financing from anybody in Hollywood.
- 9:37Speaker 2: No major studio would back them. So he had to
- 9:40Speaker 2: find guys like Epstein, you know, starstruck billionaires who wanted
- 9:44Speaker 2: to pretend they were movie producers and would give him
- 9:47Speaker 2: the funding for his movie. So he was at a
- 9:49Speaker 2: million Epstein lunches and dinners just because Epstein agreed to
- 9:52Speaker 2: fund his films. He dragged in, Dick Caviot, Dick Cavit
- 9:56Speaker 2: had nothing to do with anything sleazy with Epstein was
- 9:59Speaker 2: lunches and dinner. Is he had to, you know, sit
- 10:01Speaker 2: there and talk to all Epstein's friends and impress them.
- 10:04Speaker 2: And what Cabot wanted he wanted it. There was a
- 10:06Speaker 2: PBS special on him, and when they do these PBS specials,
- 10:11Speaker 2: you have to get the funding. If you can get
- 10:13Speaker 2: it funded, PBS will do it and run it. So
- 10:16Speaker 2: Cabot wanted to Epstein to fund the PBS special about him,
- 10:20Speaker 2: stuff like that. So but you can read these Epstein
- 10:24Speaker 2: files and they're pretty detailed. So I don't know what
- 10:30Speaker 2: we need Glame to testify about. And it looks like
- 10:34Speaker 2: she was the pimp dragging in a lot of these
- 10:37Speaker 2: young girls and arranging a lot of stuff. But what
- 10:41Speaker 2: do you think would you give her a part in
- 10:43Speaker 2: an exchange for that? I don't know. We'll see where
- 10:45Speaker 2: that goes. Kathy Hukel, She's gonna have a tough time.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman would be the best governor for New York.
- 10:52Speaker 2: He's a great candidate. He was always good, but now
- 10:55Speaker 2: he's much better. I've been watching him speak. He's powerful.
- 10:58Speaker 2: He's really moved than audiences. And she's getting crazier and
- 11:02Speaker 2: crazier with her tax they're rich, Make them pay their
- 11:04Speaker 2: fair share.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I need people who are high net worth to support
- 11:09Speaker 4: the generous social programs that we want to have in
- 11:12Speaker 4: our state. Right now, there are some patriotic millionaires who
- 11:16Speaker 4: stepped up. Okay, cut me the checks, I think, just
- 11:21Speaker 4: if you want to be supportive, but maybe the first
- 11:23Speaker 4: step should be go down to Palm Beach and see
- 11:26Speaker 4: what you can bring back home.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 2: You know, these millionaires and billionaires, they are the most
- 11:31Speaker 2: generous people on earth. I know from working with them,
- 11:34Speaker 2: especially with charities. If you go to them with a
- 11:36Speaker 2: great charity and you show them what you're doing. You know,
- 11:39Speaker 2: if you're like the Police Athletic League, which is the
- 11:42Speaker 2: best children's charity, and you show them exactly what you're
- 11:45Speaker 2: getting done and how the money's being spent, they will
- 11:48Speaker 2: write you a massive check just like that. It's amazing.
- 11:52Speaker 2: They do it all the time. They're generous. But if
- 11:57Speaker 2: you're the government with your social programs, the one look
- 12:00Speaker 2: at it, they find out you're overpaying by fifty thousand
- 12:04Speaker 2: percent for everything. It's a total waste of money. You're
- 12:08Speaker 2: totally reckless with their dolls. Why the hell did they
- 12:11Speaker 2: want to fund your social program Remember Deblasio sent up
- 12:14Speaker 2: those daycare centers, daycare centers for everybody, and they put
- 12:17Speaker 2: them all over New York. They spent hundreds and millions
- 12:20Speaker 2: of taxpayer dollars on the daycare centers. Well, now it's
- 12:24Speaker 2: years later and people are looking at them, and apparently
- 12:27Speaker 2: most of them never got used, never even opened the doors.
- 12:30Speaker 2: They put them in the wrong places. It's a government
- 12:34Speaker 2: government has no idea how to do anything. They didn't
- 12:37Speaker 2: do any kind of research or marketing or figure out
- 12:40Speaker 2: exactly where they were needed. That's true. So they were
- 12:44Speaker 2: empty and the people have looked at them now found
- 12:47Speaker 2: out most of the buildings are totally decaying in shambles
- 12:52Speaker 2: and have been sitting empty. And we've been paying rent,
- 12:55Speaker 2: We've been paying all sorts of stuff taxes on it.
- 12:57Speaker 2: We've been just wasting the money. This is hundreds of
- 13:00Speaker 2: millions just wasted on daycare centers that were put in
- 13:03Speaker 2: the wrong place and never used. So again, if you're
- 13:07Speaker 2: a rich person, why not, why woul't you give it?
- 13:09Speaker 2: You'll definitely give it to a private charity spending it correctly.
- 13:13Speaker 2: You can research that. But but government programs, it's just
- 13:19Speaker 2: all total fraud and waste. Hey, everybody loves diners. Everybody
- 13:24Speaker 2: loves to go to a diner. Things have changed. It's
- 13:27Speaker 2: a different world now. And on the good old days,
- 13:29Speaker 2: you'd be out in clubs all night and then at
- 13:31Speaker 2: four in the morning you go to the diner. It
- 13:33Speaker 2: doesn't really happen anymore. People aren't out till four in
- 13:36Speaker 2: the morning much anymore. The club world is different. It's
- 13:39Speaker 2: all different. So the twenty four hour diners, they're closing
- 13:43Speaker 2: at midnight eleven and many of them are going away.
- 13:46Speaker 2: New Jersey is like the diner capital of this area.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Four Jersey diners have announced their closure in the last
- 13:54Speaker 2: few months. Four the Coach House diner twenty four hours
- 13:59Speaker 2: Root four closed suddenly last week, all of a sudden.
- 14:03Speaker 2: There was a note on the door for staff and
- 14:06Speaker 2: customers saying it was purchased by El car Wash. It's
- 14:10Speaker 2: about to become a car washed Marikana diner Main Street
- 14:14Speaker 2: West Orange closed last month. It was one of the
- 14:18Speaker 2: few twenty four hour diners left in the state. Also
- 14:21Speaker 2: last month, Gotham City diner Ridgefield said it would close,
- 14:26Speaker 2: but that it's a sister diner, Fairloan would remain open.
- 14:29Speaker 2: They're going away, hey, Long Island. Same thing. All those
- 14:34Speaker 2: great twenty four hour diners, one by one they're vanishing.
- 14:37Speaker 2: West Chester, Connecticut. You're losing a lot of diners. Still
- 14:40Speaker 2: a couple around, but it's not the same. And twenty
- 14:43Speaker 2: four hours forget it, not anymore. Well anyway, let me
- 14:48Speaker 2: know what you think. One eight hundred three to two
- 14:50Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. One eight hundred
- 14:54Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Oh.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Also, you ever watched that crazy show The View. It's
- 15:00Speaker 2: a real low IQ kind of you. Listen, you have
- 15:02Speaker 2: high IQ shows, low IQ shows. Rachel Maddow, I guess
- 15:06Speaker 2: that would be the high IQ left wing show.
- 15:09Speaker 5: The View.
- 15:10Speaker 2: That's like the low IQ left wing show. But they
- 15:13Speaker 2: just say anything and everything. They never know what the
- 15:15Speaker 2: hell they're talking about. Woo Be Goldberg on The View,
- 15:18Speaker 2: a draft is coming. He's tried to scare the audience.
- 15:22Speaker 2: President Trump is planning to institute a draft to go
- 15:26Speaker 2: fight and Iran. She also she said America under President
- 15:31Speaker 2: Trump has run out of gas. We're running out of gas.
- 15:34Speaker 2: She doesn't know what the hell she's talking about. We
- 15:37Speaker 2: have more gas than we could ever use. We were
- 15:41Speaker 2: under Biden we produced four million barrels a day. Under Trump,
- 15:45Speaker 2: we produced fourteen million barrels a day. We could never
- 15:47Speaker 2: use that much. In fact, we have so much excess gas.
- 15:51Speaker 2: We are the biggest exporter of gas now in the world.
- 15:55Speaker 2: We produce fourteen million barrels a day. The Saudi's only
- 15:57Speaker 2: produced eight million a day. We have so much much gas.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Where the biggest seller of gas in the world. We
- 16:02Speaker 2: export gas more than anybody. And a draft will never
- 16:06Speaker 2: be a draft. First of all, we're not gonna have
- 16:08Speaker 2: a ground war. And second of all, the army, the military,
- 16:12Speaker 2: the Pentagon will explain they can't use draft ese anymore.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Can't be done. It's not the old days of infantry
- 16:21Speaker 2: with a rifle. You know, in the old days they
- 16:23Speaker 2: teach you how to march and teach you how to
- 16:24Speaker 2: use a Rifle's nothing like that anymore. Today's military is
- 16:28Speaker 2: so high tech. It's all digital, it's all computerized, it's
- 16:32Speaker 2: all the stuff. It's so high tech. It takes a
- 16:36Speaker 2: year and a half, two years to train somebody, So
- 16:39Speaker 2: a two year drafted there'd be no point, no point.
- 16:42Speaker 2: We can't use drafts. It's never going to be a
- 16:44Speaker 2: draft ever again. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next eight
- 16:47Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 16:55Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his
- 16:58Speaker 1: podcast to the Simon Show on w o R.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Jeff in Texas. Jeff,
- 17:07Speaker 2: how you doing good?
- 17:09Speaker 6: Good the Maxwell Hello, Yeah.
- 17:14Speaker 2: You said, I got an echo? What are you in
- 17:16Speaker 2: the bathroom?
- 17:18Speaker 7: No?
- 17:18Speaker 6: I uh, I'm on you on my app. I have
- 17:21Speaker 6: to hear an agent, and app goes right into the UK phone.
- 17:25Speaker 6: That's how that works.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Yeah, because I wouldn't be able to hear you without
- 17:28Speaker 8: so all right, anyway, I apologize for the echo anyway,
- 17:33Speaker 8: I think as far as Max Fwell is concerned, if
- 17:36Speaker 8: I'm her, I'm thinking, I'm saying in jail because that's
- 17:39Speaker 8: the safest place for me to be.
- 17:41Speaker 2: How did you, I know, look at Jeffrey Epstein. It
- 17:43Speaker 2: wasn't so safe for him.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true. But right now, as far as her
- 17:50Speaker 6: situation is, nothing has happened, and she's probably got information
- 17:54Speaker 6: that certain people don't want publicize. That's that's just.
- 17:57Speaker 2: My opinion, and it could be. But it's different now
- 18:00Speaker 2: because the Epstein files are out. Everybody, well I don't
- 18:04Speaker 2: know that. You know, it's gonna say everybody that was
- 18:06Speaker 2: involved as in those files. But like I said before,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I can't believe these guys are texting all this stuff
- 18:12Speaker 2: to them, typing all this stuff and the emails. Maybe
- 18:14Speaker 2: there were some guys are smart enough only to do
- 18:16Speaker 2: it over the phone. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 18:19Speaker 2: how you doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Yes, Mike, you were talking earlier about the Republicans not
- 18:26Speaker 3: having a ground game when it comes through many of
- 18:29Speaker 3: these issues through jerrymandering. Their boat in Virginia is the
- 18:32Speaker 3: most recent one, and the conversation you had with Steve
- 18:35Speaker 3: Moore kind of illustrates part of the problem. And he's
- 18:38Speaker 3: not the only one who does this on it as
- 18:39Speaker 3: a Republican pundit. But they Republicans always like to make
- 18:43Speaker 3: it a two sided argument. You know, they'll say well,
- 18:45Speaker 3: the Democrats did this, but we're just as bad. The
- 18:48Speaker 3: Democrats never make that argument. Their arguments are always one sided.
- 18:53Speaker 3: You will never hear a Democrat say we have the
- 18:55Speaker 3: jerrymander because we're just as bad as the Republican. You'll
- 18:58Speaker 3: never hear him say that of any issues.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I mean, it's you got to remember, though, it's different
- 19:03Speaker 2: for them. They got the media to cover up for them.
- 19:05Speaker 2: If they do. Republicans say one false word, it's a
- 19:08Speaker 2: fact checked all over the place.
- 19:11Speaker 7: It's true.
- 19:11Speaker 3: But it's why Republicans have to be even more strident.
- 19:13Speaker 3: And you know, and by but and you know, I
- 19:16Speaker 3: don't tell you them, don't care. It's the truth. They're
- 19:18Speaker 3: they're getting a point, they're making a point.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but again they got media air cover.
- 19:24Speaker 5: You're right.
- 19:24Speaker 2: And I don't think you can say to Donald Trump
- 19:26Speaker 2: you need to be more strident. I don't think you
- 19:28Speaker 2: can say that.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's well, he's but he's the only one
- 19:31Speaker 3: that's that's the problem.
- 19:33Speaker 2: That's true. That's a good point. Everybody should be more
- 19:35Speaker 2: Trump like, all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 19:38Speaker 2: Pete and Queen's Pete.
- 19:39Speaker 9: How you doing, Mark, how's life, how's things.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Let me check. Everything looks good, Everything.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Looks good, fantastic.
- 19:48Speaker 9: Well, before you went the commercial break, you were talking
- 19:50Speaker 9: about how much oil we produce, and straight the President
- 19:53Speaker 9: actually said that we don't really need but the prices
- 19:57Speaker 9: here are still.
- 19:58Speaker 3: So very high.
- 19:58Speaker 9: And maybe you discussed this and maybe I missed, didn't.
- 20:01Speaker 9: I apologize if you gave the explanation, But could you
- 20:03Speaker 9: just explain this to me? If we are producing so
- 20:05Speaker 9: much and have so much, no reason why.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, absolutely right. There's absolutely no reason that
- 20:11Speaker 2: we raise the price of oil. We have all our
- 20:13Speaker 2: own oil, produce it ourselves. We don't have to raise
- 20:16Speaker 2: it to match the worldwide price, which has nothing to
- 20:19Speaker 2: do with us. But the oil companies do it because
- 20:22Speaker 2: they like to raise the price. Now we could order them, hey,
- 20:24Speaker 2: put it back to where it's supposed to be. Don't
- 20:27Speaker 2: raise it artificially to match the rest of the world. Now,
- 20:29Speaker 2: the problem is if you did that, if you force
- 20:31Speaker 2: them to do that, and then they'll start producing less oil.
- 20:35Speaker 2: They'll claim they've got problems, they'll shut down some production,
- 20:38Speaker 2: and they'll produce less in order to cause a price spike.
- 20:42Speaker 2: So you got that little problem. So you could solve
- 20:46Speaker 2: the problem of them deliberately for no reason at all,
- 20:48Speaker 2: raising the price to match the rest of the world.
- 20:50Speaker 2: But it's not worth fighting with them, because all you
- 20:53Speaker 2: got to do is wait about four or five weeks
- 20:55Speaker 2: and then things will be solved. And once this irand
- 20:58Speaker 2: situation is straightened out, you're gonna see oil plunge. It's
- 21:03Speaker 2: gonna go to sixty dollars a barrel, which will be
- 21:06Speaker 2: absolutely amazing. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how
- 21:10Speaker 2: you doing.
- 21:11Speaker 10: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Marra Mark. How could we
- 21:14Speaker 10: be running out of gas when we have the four
- 21:17Speaker 10: gas bag ladies on the view? They could power all
- 21:21Speaker 10: our barbecues for the fourth Jarge July. Mark, ma'a Mondamie,
- 21:26Speaker 10: as we all know, is all smoking mirrors here yesterday
- 21:30Speaker 10: on Earth Day. He's talking about ripping up more streets,
- 21:35Speaker 10: adding more trees and bike lanes. Meanwhile, the people in
- 21:40Speaker 10: Saint Auban's Queens where that poor fifteen year old kid
- 21:43Speaker 10: was shot. The mother was saying, Mandami goes to visit
- 21:48Speaker 10: the criminal who tried to stamp the cops in his
- 21:51Speaker 10: mother and they had to defend themselves. Meanwhile, he didn't
- 21:56Speaker 10: he didn't pay her a visit at all. He didn't
- 21:59Speaker 10: go to that community. He's clearly for the criminals. The
- 22:04Speaker 10: mother said, well, he didn't come to visit me. He
- 22:07Speaker 10: didn't come to pay his respects. And if you were
- 22:10Speaker 10: to ask any person who doesn't have purple hair and
- 22:15Speaker 10: those rings in the city of New York, what would
- 22:18Speaker 10: you want?
- 22:20Speaker 7: More trees and bike lanes or safer streets and safer
- 22:25Speaker 7: subways where we don't have maniacs pushing baby carriages and
- 22:30Speaker 7: leaving their kid alone in a baby carriage in Times
- 22:33Speaker 7: Square like that the homeless couple did the other nine.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Well, Vincent, that's a great point, excellent point. Good call
- 22:40Speaker 2: has always we got to go for the news. And
- 22:41Speaker 2: then when we come back, the great comedian and talk
- 22:45Speaker 2: show host now every night at nine on wo or,
- 22:48Speaker 2: Jimmy Taylor will be with us life next.
- 22:50Speaker 5: I'm back to Mark Simone on WOR.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Well, every night at nine, Jimmy Taylor does a great
- 22:58Speaker 2: shows every night at nine here on w R nine
- 23:01Speaker 2: to midnight Monday through Friday. And you know, on the
- 23:04Speaker 2: weekends on Saturday Night does the best late night show
- 23:07Speaker 2: on television on the Fox News Channel. Saturday Night's at ten,
- 23:11Speaker 2: and he's with us right now. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing.
- 23:15Speaker 5: I'm doing. I'm down in DC right now and I'm
- 23:19Speaker 5: about to head over to the White House. I got
- 23:22Speaker 5: a big day ahead of me, marks, so I'm on soon,
- 23:23Speaker 5: assuming I can get through security. It's going to be
- 23:25Speaker 5: a big day.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Wow. President Trump loves your Saturday night show. He's a
- 23:28Speaker 2: big fan of it. What are you going to be
- 23:29Speaker 2: doing at the White House?
- 23:31Speaker 5: Well, I am so this weekend I'm hosting, obviously Fox's
- 23:36Speaker 5: live coverage of the White House Correspondence Dinner. It's going
- 23:38Speaker 5: to be it's going to start at nine pm because
- 23:40Speaker 5: Trump is speaking, and they basically have me hosting a
- 23:43Speaker 5: three hour red carpet show because they don't want me
- 23:46Speaker 5: anywhere near an open bar, as you'd imagine. You know what,
- 23:50Speaker 5: It's not enough to do your hour, You've got to
- 23:52Speaker 5: do everyone else's hour too, so we know where you
- 23:54Speaker 5: are at all time. But today at the White House,
- 23:57Speaker 5: we're gonna be shooting footage that will air during that
- 24:00Speaker 5: During that show, so I got to interview a couple
- 24:03Speaker 5: of our White House correspondents, Peter Doocy, Jackie Heinrich and
- 24:06Speaker 5: I may Or may not have an audience with the
- 24:08Speaker 5: President later in the day, depending on how his schedule looks.
- 24:11Speaker 5: So this is the comp before the storm. Man, I
- 24:13Speaker 5: just got to get my act together and as long
- 24:16Speaker 5: as I can get my cocaine out of the White
- 24:18Speaker 5: House Balkers.
- 24:18Speaker 2: As the wind well President Trump has, he's quite an
- 24:24Speaker 2: ear to the ground. He'll know you're in the building.
- 24:25Speaker 2: If he knows you're in the building, he'll come find
- 24:27Speaker 2: you because he's a big fan of your fun.
- 24:29Speaker 5: So it would be cool.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I guarantee you by the end of the day you'll
- 24:33Speaker 2: be in a conversation with him, So.
- 24:37Speaker 5: I will keep you posted. Man, you never know this.
- 24:40Speaker 2: White House Correspondents Dinner. President, by the way, is one
- 24:44Speaker 2: of the great greatest roaster ever in politics. He's done
- 24:48Speaker 2: a million Friars Club roast, a dozen Comedy Central roasts.
- 24:52Speaker 2: He's an incredible roaster. At the Al Smith dinner, He's
- 24:54Speaker 2: going to let these fake news people have it Saturday night.
- 24:58Speaker 2: What do you think they're going to do to respond?
- 25:01Speaker 5: That's what I think is going to be interesting because
- 25:02Speaker 5: there's going to be half the room will be there
- 25:04Speaker 5: to protest and the other half I think will get it,
- 25:09Speaker 5: meaning this is an opportunity for a Kumbai moment, but
- 25:12Speaker 5: I don't know that Trump wants one. That's that's my
- 25:16Speaker 5: that's my concern. You know, Trump, Trump and the you know,
- 25:21Speaker 5: the media have this Hatfield McCoy thing going on, and
- 25:25Speaker 5: I think he kind of enjoys that. So my expectation
- 25:29Speaker 5: for real is that he probably is working with some
- 25:31Speaker 5: comedy writers and they're probably going to go on offense.
- 25:36Speaker 5: I would expect him to go on offense. Hopefully he
- 25:38Speaker 5: self deprecates just enough that the media can you know,
- 25:42Speaker 5: bear being the subject of a joke, which is hard
- 25:45Speaker 5: for a lot of those egos. But it's a spectacle
- 25:47Speaker 5: like I'll be there not I'm like, I will be
- 25:50Speaker 5: on the red carpet nine to midnight. I'll be inside
- 25:52Speaker 5: the dinner watching the whole thing like I want a
- 25:54Speaker 5: heckle man. It's going to be really lively. And I
- 25:58Speaker 5: think my only concern is the guy after Trump is
- 26:01Speaker 5: the mentalist. You know it was the mentalist? Oh was Pearlman? Yeah, Oz, Yeah,
- 26:05Speaker 5: that's right. He's a brilliant guy. Okay. My concern is
- 26:08Speaker 5: he's gonna guess the nuclear codes get us in trouble.
- 26:12Speaker 5: So I got to keep that guy in check and
- 26:15Speaker 5: see where the trump thing goes.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I don't understand. See like you on stage,
- 26:19Speaker 2: you still tour all over the country. Unbelievable on stage, energy,
- 26:23Speaker 2: loud volume, you like fill the room. How's a mentalist
- 26:26Speaker 2: with a deck of cards? How do you play that?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Three thousand people in a ballroom?
- 26:32Speaker 5: The bricks A lot of the same questions you have.
- 26:38Speaker 5: You know, you're used to like the high octane thing.
- 26:40Speaker 5: But I've had him on my TV show a few times.
- 26:43Speaker 5: He is a very charismatic guy. And because he knows
- 26:47Speaker 5: where the trick is going, you know, he kind of
- 26:49Speaker 5: in his head has a lot of room to tell
- 26:52Speaker 5: you jokes along the way because he's kind of leading
- 26:55Speaker 5: the witness through his little narrative. So I would actually
- 26:58Speaker 5: expect him to do better then if I was there.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Two years ago, they had Colin jokes from Saturday Night Live.
- 27:05Speaker 5: He just bombed like it was tough man. Not only
- 27:09Speaker 5: did he like it not work, but he you know,
- 27:12Speaker 5: he was he accepted the fact that it wasn't working
- 27:14Speaker 5: early on and never tried to turn it around. Meaning
- 27:17Speaker 5: it's comedians. If your jokes aren't going over, you start
- 27:21Speaker 5: to make jokes about how your jokes aren't working. You know,
- 27:25Speaker 5: that's your way to get the thing back on track
- 27:27Speaker 5: and turn it into a win. And he didn't do that.
- 27:30Speaker 5: He just shouted the jokes into the night sky. They
- 27:33Speaker 5: fell flat. He'd make a smirk and he'd move on.
- 27:36Speaker 5: And I would expect, oh is I'm not kidding, to
- 27:39Speaker 5: do better than most comics, just because his approach is
- 27:42Speaker 5: a little broader, Like he's not going to be telling
- 27:45Speaker 5: jokes based on the results of the Virginia special election
- 27:48Speaker 5: on Tuesday night, which will help with the audience.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, I know you guys don't like people looking
- 27:54Speaker 2: under the hood, but explain some technique here, like like
- 27:58Speaker 2: jokes will come out and he's a little that's hi,
- 28:01Speaker 2: but real comedity. You another careal comman. You know how
- 28:04Speaker 2: to come out and boom. Just take charge of the room.
- 28:07Speaker 2: It's about volume, it's about movement. Explain that a little.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Well, this is the truth. In comedy. People always say,
- 28:15Speaker 5: you know you hear the phrase read the room used
- 28:17Speaker 5: a lot in politics, but in comedy you have to
- 28:20Speaker 5: you have to lead the room. You have to lead
- 28:22Speaker 5: the room, like and if everybody listening, things back to
- 28:25Speaker 5: like a Rodney dangerfield, you know, when they shoot him
- 28:28Speaker 5: out of a cannon. He absolutely positively came out there
- 28:31Speaker 5: and led the room, told his jokes, bounced around the stage,
- 28:34Speaker 5: made some faces, reacted to the crowd. He was very
- 28:38Speaker 5: much in command. That is the key to being a
- 28:40Speaker 5: successful comic. And you have to be in command of
- 28:43Speaker 5: the room. So if you think about it like you're
- 28:46Speaker 5: an air force you know, you're an airline pilot. The
- 28:48Speaker 5: pilot doesn't read the room. He doesn't say if it's
- 28:50Speaker 5: okay with you, we're third in line. We're gonna go
- 28:53Speaker 5: up to thirty seven thousand feet. He says, no, we're third,
- 28:56Speaker 5: taking off. Put your seatbelts on, shut up, thanks, line delta,
- 28:59Speaker 5: that whole thing. Yeah, that's what you gotta do it.
- 29:00Speaker 5: You got to lead the room. You got to be
- 29:02Speaker 5: in control.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you know you're worried about being nervous, but you
- 29:05Speaker 2: don't want to make the audience nervous. You got to
- 29:06Speaker 2: come out there like you're in charge. Don't worry, you're
- 29:08Speaker 2: in good hands. I can take care of this and yeah.
- 29:11Speaker 5: So yeah, because the other thing is, man, you're selling fun.
- 29:14Speaker 5: You're selling them a good time. So if you're having
- 29:17Speaker 5: a good time. It's a lot easier for them to
- 29:19Speaker 5: have one with you. That's why the other late night
- 29:21Speaker 5: comics and even Colin Joe's didn't do good at that roast.
- 29:24Speaker 5: It's because they don't look like they're there in the
- 29:26Speaker 5: name of fun. You know, if you show up to
- 29:29Speaker 5: a comedy show and the guy's scowling, you're not going like, Okay,
- 29:33Speaker 5: get ready for some fun, everybody.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Now, you do the best.
- 29:37Speaker 5: That's the big challenge.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you do. You do the best late night show
- 29:41Speaker 2: on television. Saturday nights at ten, you watch Kimmel or
- 29:43Speaker 2: Colbert come out, they look like they're going to commit
- 29:46Speaker 2: suicide later that night. They look so angry and bitter.
- 29:49Speaker 5: I know, it's like, I haven't seen a group of
- 29:53Speaker 5: people that upset since Mondani hugged the mes Maskot. You know,
- 29:57Speaker 5: it's it's put them on a twelve game losing. But
- 30:00Speaker 5: you're right and they don't. And that's the point that
- 30:03Speaker 5: drives me crazy as a TV host is we have
- 30:06Speaker 5: the most unique jobs in the world when it comes
- 30:08Speaker 5: to late night comedy. There's not a lot of them
- 30:09Speaker 5: out there. If you're lucky enough to have one, I
- 30:12Speaker 5: think you owe a debt to everyone who did this
- 30:15Speaker 5: before us to kind of do it in that traditional style.
- 30:19Speaker 5: I don't mean you can't come up with your own
- 30:20Speaker 5: scance of your own jokes. Obviously you should, but in
- 30:23Speaker 5: terms of the intent of the programming, it should be
- 30:26Speaker 5: there to bargain with the viewer in good faith, not
- 30:28Speaker 5: to tell them fascists are about to take away our
- 30:31Speaker 5: elections and women don't have rights. You know, it's just
- 30:34Speaker 5: a buz till you know when you watch those concerts
- 30:36Speaker 5: where they start lecturing you about climate change halfway through
- 30:39Speaker 5: and you're like, dude, shut up. We were dancing. I
- 30:43Speaker 5: was trying to get this girl's phone number, and now
- 30:46Speaker 5: you just told me the Ozone's gonna kill us all.
- 30:48Speaker 5: Thanks way to go Springsteen.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's fifty years later in the Ozone hasn't
- 30:53Speaker 2: cousted the problem. But Yo, the White House Corispondes Dinner
- 30:57Speaker 2: is Saturday night. You'll be hosting nine to midnight this week.
- 31:02Speaker 2: That'll be great. And then and you know they got
- 31:04Speaker 2: all these parties every night. You're going to any of those?
- 31:07Speaker 5: Yeah, man, we'll make the round tonight and tomorrow. What's
- 31:10Speaker 5: interesting about these is you see all the other TV
- 31:13Speaker 5: hosts there from the other network, So it's like kind
- 31:15Speaker 5: of a chance to mix, you know, mix friends a
- 31:17Speaker 5: little bit. Not that they're all very friendly, but I
- 31:20Speaker 5: get a kick. I get a kick out of going
- 31:22Speaker 5: to these things. And I get in easy because I
- 31:24Speaker 5: dress like a waiter, so they let me into just
- 31:27Speaker 5: about everything and I meet everybody, like, I'll have some
- 31:30Speaker 5: real good intel for you the next time we're on
- 31:32Speaker 5: next week.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not the greatest party because if you really
- 31:35Speaker 2: want to have fun, you don't want to be in
- 31:36Speaker 2: a room with Jen Saki and Rachel Maddout. I mean,
- 31:39Speaker 2: this is not the most lively.
- 31:42Speaker 5: That's funny. Yeah, no, I know. The worst was last
- 31:45Speaker 5: year when Karine John Pierre was there. The waiter asked
- 31:48Speaker 5: her what she was having and she had to go
- 31:49Speaker 5: through a binder to come up with an answer. It's like,
- 31:51Speaker 5: come on, man, to answer the question.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Hey, they keep talking about President Trump. Look at US
- 31:55Speaker 2: approval ratings, look at us you know they never mentioned
- 31:58Speaker 2: on any of these shows all this. Democrats in Congress
- 32:02Speaker 2: are at the lowest approval rating anything in the world
- 32:04Speaker 2: has ever been at. Isn't that amazing?
- 32:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's funny how that works. Because they always say, yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 5: these guys at forty thirty. But if they're at thirteen percent,
- 32:17Speaker 5: the headline should be Trump leads the Democrats by a lot.
- 32:22Speaker 5: That should be the headline. It should not be look
- 32:25Speaker 5: at Trump's numbers. It should be wow, he's way in
- 32:27Speaker 5: the lead. That's why I think they have a better
- 32:29Speaker 5: shot in the midterms than anyone's letting on.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah, now, the most interesting news is the news they
- 32:34Speaker 2: never report, like they take that the Southern Poverty Law
- 32:37Speaker 2: Center story. Oh yeah, and what a stupid name, the
- 32:41Speaker 2: Southern Poverty Law Center. What does it even mean?
- 32:44Speaker 5: I know, it's crazy. So what they do is, as
- 32:46Speaker 5: you know and your audience probably knows by now, they
- 32:49Speaker 5: are supposed to track the incidents of hate and white supremacy,
- 32:55Speaker 5: and then they fundraise off of that. They go, well,
- 32:57Speaker 5: look at all these racists. You gotta give us some
- 32:59Speaker 5: money so we can go get to the bottom of
- 33:00Speaker 5: this and alert the media and all these racists. And
- 33:03Speaker 5: of course they didn't have a lot to report on,
- 33:06Speaker 5: so they started staging events, and this is the criminal indictment.
- 33:09Speaker 5: As you know, they were hiring groups like the klu
- 33:12Speaker 5: Klux Klan and saying, hey, how about you throw a
- 33:14Speaker 5: rally and then we can report on this crazy clan rally,
- 33:17Speaker 5: and then people will give us money. And if you
- 33:19Speaker 5: look in twenty seventeen, the net worth or whatever the
- 33:22Speaker 5: money they have banked anyway went up how many hundreds
- 33:25Speaker 5: of a percent? Three hundred and twenty one or something? Crazy? Yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 5: bananas wow, And they're making it up.
- 33:30Speaker 7: That's the point.
- 33:30Speaker 5: It's it's Scooby Doo.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 5: See you end of Scooby Deal. You take the mask
- 33:34Speaker 5: off the guy that is the Southern Poverty Law Center.
