- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Were you reading the text that you just got uh about uh what I need to do?
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Well, I was told not to tell you on the air because I and I said, Why?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: And they said, 'cause he's gonna freak out.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, great.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: He needs to go to the E D Emergency Department Quick to make sure there's no blood.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Quick.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: To make Yeah, it says that.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: It happened 12 hours ago, but I gotta go quick.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: To make sure there's no blood.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: When you tear a muscle or tendon, it can bleed.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: No, there was definitely a ripping sound last night.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Well, that's the she goes on to say, uh, I heard a pop in my leg, and someone said to me, You should get checked out because it could be bleeding.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: I went to the ER ED in 12 weeks, no weight bearing.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: I guess it doesn't matter.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Go ahead.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: By the way, the popping, that may have been worse than the E uh than the uh tearing.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: So are you gonna go?
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: When did the I just got a text from uh uh from Tiffany?
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: She goes, Can you come today and get checked out?
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: And I haven't had time to respond yet.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: But my my thing, I this is what I had to ask.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: You said she said the ED.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: I don't have erectile dysfunction.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: I'm just letting you know, I'm not a walking commercial for the next uh you know medicine coming out.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: When did we change the name from ER to ED?
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: What what are we doing here?
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Like, can't we just keep it the things we know?
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: ED's a little too close to something I never want to have.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: That's where I don't really want to have an ED to visit either.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: ED was already established.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: So why are we stealing from ED?
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: I don't understand that.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: Can't we just go back to the classics?
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: ER.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: It's the emergency show.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: There was a TV show called ER.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: We all knew it.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: The TV show wasn't ED.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: I know, and that would be weird because a bunch of guys walking around not being able to get it up.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Jeez, that sounds like a great show.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Tad shuffling through the hallway.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: That'll be on CBS.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, yeah, Ted Dan's.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: I think it's called that CIS.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Anywho, um My awesome prank that I pulled yesterday.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I got some unfortunate news yesterday, earlier in the day, let's just say, that my two friends from Cleveland are there, they said, we can't make it.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: My friend Mikey is extremely sick.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: And he said, I don't want to get you sick.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: It just keeps getting worse.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: It's really the smartest thing to do.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: You don't need anything.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Right, exactly.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: And he offered up three other weekends.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: He goes, How about this weekend, this weekend, this weekend?
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Pick one of those, we'll totally come out.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Well, up to this point, I've been doing a lot of projects around the house thinking, well, Mikey's gonna be here.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: After he leaves, a couple days later, my college friend Elena is gonna be here.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: A couple weeks, uh week after that, my aunt and niece is gonna be here.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: So I wanted to get all these projects out of the way.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And Zach has been really helpful with that.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: This is great.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Except for there's a couple things that weren't done, but we were gonna go in hard last night.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: So I was like, what I'm gonna do is I'm not gonna tell him that Mikey and Kathy canceled.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Because I absolutely because I need these projects done.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: And if I if I tell him that they canceled, then they then it's not that they won't get done.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: They're gonna get done on his timeline and not mine.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Well, and that's not acceptable.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: And and I think it should be pointed out because you've mentioned this about him.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: He's a little bit more loose when it comes to urgency.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Think about this.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: He's an old man hippie.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So he just like he just, you know, you you know.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: I know, and and given the opportunity to stray off course, he would take it.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: I so then, and then this happened.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: He texts me and says, Hey, I'm gonna grab a drink after work with my friend Brad.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: No problem.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So he says, at one point, Brad says, What time do you have to be home?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: And he's like, It's great.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Allie doesn't care.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Except for I do have these projects I want to finish them off.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Right, I do the projects, yeah.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: I get what you're now.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Okay, so you have yet to tell him that they're not gonna make it.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, I finally did late last night.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Did the projects get done first?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I had half of them get done.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, then well because he went and had a beverage.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Right, and then he came, then he came back and he because he was like, I have to get back because Allie has these projects she needs me to do.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: This is great.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: You're training him exactly right.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Now, here's right.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Here's the one thing that you have to be prepared for.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: What?
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Because you've done this now, and uh so after you guys got through some of this, that's when you told him.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: What was his reaction when you told him?
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: I can't believe you held this from me.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, here's what you're gonna have to be prepared for.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: What?
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: You're gonna owe him one.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Why do I owe him one?
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Well, of course I owe him one because like he's the entire story you just told and how it resulted in an ending.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: That's why you owe him one.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Of course, I Does that really need an explanation?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Hold on a second.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: So the other day, because he has been doing these projects, I have been rewarding him handsomely.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: I took him to the planetarium to see the Pink Floyd show.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: I made it Oh, so you're keeping your scorecards so that when you have something like this come up, you feel that in your pocket, it's covered.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: I'm saying, well, yes, yes, it's already covered.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: And I made him a nice steak dinner the other night.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Wheelie, did you let him eat it or did you eat it and make him eat P B and J?
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: That seems to be a trend in your house.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: He got steak and I cooked it exactly how he likes it.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Am I right on this?
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Okay, you can't, no, that's not how it works.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Pre-the white lie does not count as all these bonus points.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: You've now unleashed the white lie.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Now I owe him something else.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Now you owe them something.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: And now not another steak.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Not another steak.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: It's gonna have to be a day, and this is gonna be brutal for you.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be a little bit more.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: It's when you want this is gonna be brutal for you because it's not another steak that you get to cook them to make up for it.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: This is gonna have to be one of those things where you're like, in your head, you guys are planning Marigold Sunday, and he says, but you know, I'd really rather go do this, and even and it'll drive you nuts.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Yes, because you have this thing.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have to give in to him and say, Ah, all right.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: So is that when I actually verbally say I'm cashing in?
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you could.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: Am I right on this?
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: You guys text us really quick.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Allie absolutely owes Zach for this one.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: She held the secret, even though there were things in advance, doesn't count.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Those were just nice.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: I'm doing something for you, you're doing something for me.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Until all of a sudden, you know, you gave the white lie.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: Now it's time for there, there will be a payback day coming and you owe them.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: I don't even know what I else I could.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes, I could owe him something, but it is But it's yet to come yet.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: We just don't know what it is.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: Like I said, I gave you an example.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: We don't know what it is.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: I'm not doing something on my time.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is a hundred percent his time.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: That's the point to it.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Am I right?
