- 0:14Speaker 1: it's in between me and Josh Bay.
- 0:15Speaker 2: And Will Compton.
- 0:16Speaker 1: We had a rematch Alabama at Oklahoma. The boys will
- 0:20Speaker 1: be at that game this weekend. After that, Miami at
- 0:24Speaker 1: Texas A and m The boys will be at that
- 0:27Speaker 1: game this weekend. Muffin Tulane versus All miss we got
- 0:31Speaker 1: to rematch on our hands.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I wonder how that went last time.
- 0:33Speaker 1: And then we got number twelve James Madison, another Muffin
- 0:36Speaker 1: headed up to the Northwest against Oregon. Two rematches this game,
- 0:40Speaker 1: let's look over it. Last week a lot of conversations
- 0:42Speaker 1: took place. We had Army and Navy salute our military,
- 0:44Speaker 1: fifty stars, thir teen bars, these colosed you do not running, Josh.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Payton, want to oh incredible myself? Oh to one? Not great?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Will Compton one, and oh all together we're right here.

- 1:47Speaker 3: Now we may not see it. I own everything. So
- 1:50Speaker 3: I was sitting there. I was, I was listening to
- 1:52Speaker 3: you read and I was just like zoning out.
- 1:55Speaker 4: No, you know, once upon a time, in this relationship,
- 1:59Speaker 4: in this world we lived in, when I read it
- 2:01Speaker 4: was people came for me to read all ads for
- 2:04Speaker 4: you to be able to zone Now as the biggest
- 2:06Speaker 4: compliment I could have gotten.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I was gonna say.
- 2:09Speaker 3: One thing we can all agree on is that game
- 2:10Speaker 3: days hit different this time of year. The stakes rise,
- 2:13Speaker 3: the crowds get louder, and now Fandel is giving you
- 2:16Speaker 3: something a little extraly.

- 2:30Speaker 2: Where do we even start?
- 2:32Speaker 5: It's a great question. I know you seem conflicted mentally.
- 2:34Speaker 5: You're in a lot of different places right now. That
- 2:36Speaker 5: ad Rey was not one of them. It was not
- 2:38Speaker 5: one of them. But a pro does what a pro does.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Pro does you ask where we are? I'd love to
- 2:43Speaker 5: know where you are.
- 2:44Speaker 3: It's more of like I'm thinking of all the headlines
- 2:47Speaker 3: that have been going on with this is like you
- 2:49Speaker 3: come in at the shop and we just get on
- 2:51Speaker 3: the show. So we haven't had time to sit here
- 2:52Speaker 3: and talk about all of our little the internal dialogue
- 2:55Speaker 3: that's happening, whether it be Michigan, whether it be you know,
- 2:58Speaker 3: the portal movement, whether it be uh Nebraska hoops, Nebraska
- 3:02Speaker 3: basketball eleven right now, Yeah, Hey, the Nebraska Michigan sitting
- 3:06Speaker 3: at the top of the big tame.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It might be a fun market.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So that's where my that's where I am currently.
- 3:13Speaker 3: And then I'm like, what are some things to ask
- 3:15Speaker 3: Josh about that I want to learn more that I
- 3:17Speaker 3: want to learn more of.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Here's before we dive into these games.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Here's the best part about that question you asked yourself
- 3:23Speaker 1: is you don't really need to know what you need
- 3:24Speaker 1: to ask Josh. I called Josh seven times this weekend
- 3:27Speaker 1: at least, and one of those times he answers the
- 3:29Speaker 1: phone and we start talking. He goes, Hey, let me
- 3:31Speaker 1: just take over this conversation for us. You're gonna ask
- 3:33Speaker 1: me this, and I'll answer it like that, and then
- 3:35Speaker 1: you're gonna ask you this because you're a smart guy
- 3:36Speaker 1: and we think the same way. So I answered the
- 3:38Speaker 1: question like this, and truly I'm like, he really is
- 3:41Speaker 1: checking all the boxes I need for this conversation so bad.
- 3:44Speaker 5: You called me, and let's say you called me at
- 3:46Speaker 5: nine thirty one and I had a nine to thirty
- 3:48Speaker 5: five meeting. And you ever be in a conversation with
- 3:51Speaker 5: someone where you know what they're calling for, you know
- 3:53Speaker 5: where it's gonna go. Let's just let's just cut the
- 3:56Speaker 5: time in half and quay longer than the four minutes
- 3:59Speaker 5: you have yeah, yeah, I'll ask the questions for them,
- 4:01Speaker 5: then I'll answer him. So he just sat there and
- 4:03Speaker 5: I just walked him through his conversation, and at the
- 4:06Speaker 5: end he said, that's pretty much. I have a good day, man.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And you know what he made that meeting.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Did you see the the fodder I was building on
- 4:16Speaker 3: lesson On Twitter? Somebody somebody tweeted, Josh paid is the
- 4:20Speaker 3: king of knowing stuff five minutes after it gets you born.
- 4:24Speaker 1: It was after that Jurassic Park water gift.
- 4:27Speaker 5: That's been circulating this week and really this season. You know,
- 4:30Speaker 5: both of you can help me on this because I
- 4:32Speaker 5: do in the group text, which is encrypted so no
- 4:35Speaker 5: one can get into it. I do occasionally tell you
- 4:38Speaker 5: guys what the water gift means. Have I or have
- 4:42Speaker 5: I not bat at a thousand on that this year?
- 4:44Speaker 2: I think you have.
- 4:45Speaker 5: I've let you know so like you can vouch for me.
- 4:48Speaker 5: You can be my alibi because I can't let the
- 4:50Speaker 5: public know what the water gift means. Like last week,
- 4:53Speaker 5: I found out Debor was going to put out a statement.
- 4:55Speaker 5: I thought it was gonna be on Friday, so I
- 4:56Speaker 5: put out the water gift on Friday. That turns out
- 4:58Speaker 5: they didn't release it until Sunday.
- 4:59Speaker 2: The team rec wasn't as close as you thought, was there.
- 5:02Speaker 5: It was big tea right here.
- 5:03Speaker 2: That's why the water was Yeah.
- 5:05Speaker 5: So yeah, people people have been claiming that I'm engagement baiting.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I don't even know how to turn monetization on on Twitter,
- 5:11Speaker 5: so I still haven't made any money off of it,
- 5:13Speaker 5: but I am. I am engagement baiting and clickbaiting.
- 5:16Speaker 1: What is your statement to people saying that you're engagement baiting?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Isn't it farming?
- 5:23Speaker 5: Farming? Whatever? It's been a good crop yield this year,
- 5:26Speaker 5: it's been a really good.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Are you engagement for me or not?
- 5:33Speaker 5: I prefer engagement farming because if you go clickbaiting, then
- 5:36Speaker 5: they start calling you clickbait, pait and then Alex then
- 5:40Speaker 5: Alex hit you up, says can we make a T
- 5:41Speaker 5: shirt out of that? And I say, that's not what
- 5:42Speaker 5: we're trying to do here, Alex, really.
- 5:44Speaker 2: We might have to make that, yeah, exactly.
- 5:48Speaker 5: I can't conscious profit off of that.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Just a glass of water. It's right there.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Because anytime my hater comes out, like a hater comes
- 5:55Speaker 3: out and tries to go up to Joshua, just thread
- 5:57Speaker 3: it underneath by clickbait plate c bab and you know
- 6:00Speaker 3: what makes him such a pro to?
- 6:01Speaker 1: As I asked him straight up, what is your statement
- 6:03Speaker 1: about it? And his statement really wasn't even a statement
- 6:05Speaker 1: to claim whether or not he was clickbaiting.
- 6:07Speaker 2: He just likes the phrasing of the names better.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Which brings us into the Michigan thing, but which brings
- 6:12Speaker 1: us into Michigan because Kenny Dillingham and Kaiala de bor
- 6:15Speaker 1: Keayn de Bor comes out of a statement Alabama fans, geez,
- 6:18Speaker 1: like he put out a statement, he said he had
- 6:20Speaker 1: a press conference, and then as a Michigan fan, we
- 6:22Speaker 1: will look at it and go He didn't really, he
- 6:24Speaker 1: did kind of like laugh and say yes about twenty
- 6:26Speaker 1: twenty six.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six is January first? Yeah, what is January second?
- 6:30Speaker 1: And Dillingham's like, I'm all about people in my camp,
- 6:33Speaker 1: like well, I don't know, Like I'm here for my
- 6:34Speaker 1: people who are in the trenches of me. All these
- 6:36Speaker 1: things meant to warfare, but doesn't really say I'm for
- 6:39Speaker 1: sure going to be at ASU. So Michigan fans are
- 6:41Speaker 1: sitting there everywhere, sit in the house on fire, being
- 6:43Speaker 1: speculation saving this is gonna be one of these guys
- 6:45Speaker 1: are gonna be our guys.
- 6:46Speaker 3: They're witnessing games being played like we know as players,
- 6:50Speaker 3: like anytime, like when agents got hold of us, Like
- 6:52Speaker 3: there's a there's a way to go about the game
- 6:55Speaker 3: with your messaging, with your words and everything else. And
- 6:57Speaker 3: it's like even though uh dubor put out this statement
- 7:00Speaker 3: then had the presser and was answering questions in the
- 7:03Speaker 3: presser the way he was like, I wasn't completely sold
- 7:06Speaker 3: that he's sitting here.
- 7:06Speaker 2: He's like, he's not shutting it all the way down, right.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Which is smart even if your goal is to stay
- 7:11Speaker 1: exactly where you're at, Like, don't just shut it down
- 7:13Speaker 1: now you lost our leverage.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Yeah, he talks about the way the team is handling
- 7:17Speaker 3: the distractions. He's not, Yeah, where is everybody?
- 7:22Speaker 5: All right? So I used to when I would watch
- 7:24Speaker 5: coaching searches happen and I had nobody to talk to,
- 7:27Speaker 5: no source, know nothing, I would just watch it purely
- 7:30Speaker 5: as a fan. I would think that there was this
- 7:32Speaker 5: huge game being played behind the curtain, which to a
- 7:35Speaker 5: certain extent, there is. But the game doesn't work the
- 7:37Speaker 5: way you think it works, all right, So we fast
- 7:38Speaker 5: forward to modern day. I've observed it this week. Just
- 7:42Speaker 5: as an example, I'll go over on the Michigan on
- 7:45Speaker 5: three site and I'll look at the message board because
- 7:46Speaker 5: I love to see what fans are saying about it,
- 7:48Speaker 5: and I love to try and match it to what
- 7:51Speaker 5: I may know to be true and see what's real
- 7:53Speaker 5: and what's fake. All Right, So there's been this working
- 7:56Speaker 5: narrative this week. You guys have probably dealt with this too.
- 7:59Speaker 5: You go on your show, go on whatever platform you have.
- 8:01Speaker 5: People know that you know Kenny Dillingham. People know that
- 8:04Speaker 5: I know Kenny Dillingham. Anytime you advocate for a guy,
- 8:08Speaker 5: you know that's misconstrued as ah Man. He's in on
- 8:12Speaker 5: whatever the mechanations of this search are, and he's lobbying
- 8:15Speaker 5: for his guy to get a raise, and he's using
- 8:18Speaker 5: Michigan as leverage, and like, I know the truth the
- 8:20Speaker 5: whole time. And the truth is I've talked to Kenny
- 8:23Speaker 5: like five times in the past week. At no point
- 8:26Speaker 5: did anything even remotely coming close to that ever come up.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Same thing would like debor same thing with Alabama. It's
- 8:33Speaker 5: just if I'm talking about Kenny Dillingham publicly, it's cause
- 8:36Speaker 5: I think he's a pretty good coach. I think it
- 8:38Speaker 5: would be fun to watch him go to Michigan. If
- 8:40Speaker 5: I were Michigan, I would pursue him. That's kind of it.
- 8:43Speaker 5: We're sitting here, we're recording Wednesday morning, December seventeenth. I
- 8:47Speaker 5: have no idea how the Michigan search is going to
- 8:48Speaker 5: turn out. I don't know if Kenny would take the
- 8:50Speaker 5: job if they offered it to him. I do know
- 8:52Speaker 5: he would listen to it, because anyone would listen because
- 8:55Speaker 5: it's the Michigan job. But if anyone is sitting there thinking, oh,
- 8:58Speaker 5: this is as simple as Michigan offers debor, Debor says no,
- 9:02Speaker 5: and then it's just Kenny's job, it may turn out
- 9:06Speaker 5: like that. But it's not Kenny sitting there frothing at
- 9:08Speaker 5: the mouth waiting for the job offer and just anxious
- 9:11Speaker 5: to throw the deuces up to Arizona State. He's got
- 9:13Speaker 5: a really, really firm root system in Arizona State for
- 9:16Speaker 5: many different reasons that are unique to him in Arizona State.
- 9:19Speaker 5: So he may take it if he gets offered. He
- 9:22Speaker 5: may not get offered. It's just assumed that we understand
- 9:25Speaker 5: the pecking order at Michigan is it's de Boor and
- 9:28Speaker 5: then probably Kenny Dillingham for the record, I think that's
- 9:31Speaker 5: what it is. I don't know that though. You could
- 9:33Speaker 5: probably shed some light on that, because you can see
- 9:35Speaker 5: under the Michigan hood a little bit more than the
- 9:37Speaker 5: rest of us. We're just looking at the car from
- 9:38Speaker 5: across the street.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the problem that Michigan has right now
- 9:42Speaker 1: is there are essentially three or four different camps trying
- 9:45Speaker 1: to make the decision of what's taking place. So we
- 9:47Speaker 1: had a complation on busting with the boys on money
- 9:49Speaker 1: about it. If I was essentially if I could just
- 9:51Speaker 1: do whatever I wanted, who would I go after? Who
- 9:53Speaker 1: might number one be? And my answer would be Kenny Dilliham.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Now I've talked to you guys that he's coached with.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I've known him for a very long time.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Guy.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He is from an integrity standpoint, character standpoint, and so
- 10:03Speaker 1: he would be a perfect fit to go up give
- 10:05Speaker 1: some new blood to Michigan, a new energetic mindset, can
- 10:09Speaker 1: fix any offensive problem, and then put a great defensive
- 10:12Speaker 1: staff around him. I don't know what that noise is,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but oh, that dude's detailing outside.
- 10:17Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Now, that's that's what Christmas present you gotta love. That's
- 10:21Speaker 1: part of the show. This moves me back to the
- 10:22Speaker 1: train when we're on the bus, when we first started
- 10:24Speaker 1: the show.
- 10:26Speaker 5: I got a good story about that after you get it.
- 10:28Speaker 1: If I was if I was just say, hey, I
- 10:32Speaker 1: have to pay a coach. My coach is going to
- 10:33Speaker 1: be Kane Dalliam. If I could just choose whoever, it's
- 10:35Speaker 1: going to be, even over Kaylen, I think Klein him leaving, Yes, okay,
- 10:40Speaker 1: I think his guy one. I don't think Kalen's gonna leave.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I don't think that's an option in the perfect world.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Like if he goes, then the thought process of how
- 10:47Speaker 1: many of those aliens you bring from Tuscaloucid and Arbor. Now,
- 10:50Speaker 1: all of a sudden, does Michigan go from like what's
- 10:52Speaker 1: gonna happen twenty six two? We're looking at a collegeball
- 10:55Speaker 1: playoff team, Like, yeah, that's exciting. But if I'm talking
- 10:58Speaker 1: about the next twenty years, who's going to be our guy?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Think Kenny Dillion fits that profile for Michigan perfectly. But
- 11:03Speaker 1: then I start to think about it more and what
- 11:06Speaker 1: Michigan has is a much bigger issue than who the
- 11:08Speaker 1: next head coach is going to be at this at
- 11:10Speaker 1: the school, they have no president, they have interim president.
- 11:14Speaker 1: The AD is kind of sitting there and internally they
- 11:17Speaker 1: don't know how long he's going to be there. The
- 11:19Speaker 1: border regions have a meeting, they decide like, hey, he's
- 11:21Speaker 1: going to be there for now, but there's no like
- 11:23Speaker 1: long term. So if you're a head coach and you're
- 11:26Speaker 1: walking into a place that foundationally is cracked everywhere, my
- 11:31Speaker 1: now thought is stick with Biff Pog for twenty twenty six.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Gary Moehler was a head coach at Michigan in nineteen
- 11:39Speaker 1: ninety five. He had a situation go down where he
- 11:42Speaker 1: got fired from that job and an interim head coach
- 11:44Speaker 1: was named in there. His name was Lloyd Carr and
- 11:47Speaker 1: he was there for over a decade.
- 11:49Speaker 5: YEP.
- 11:50Speaker 1: So I've been told by players and by other people
- 11:54Speaker 1: that the kids have all said, if Biff Pog's the guy,
- 11:57Speaker 1: we will stay. And so if you are are taking
- 12:01Speaker 1: from a pr standpoint, we got to get this whole.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Like I've had people in the school be like this
- 12:07Speaker 1: whole Michigan man thing is dead, Like this isn't just
- 12:09Speaker 1: outside noise, like that whole phrase of Michigan man thing
- 12:12Speaker 1: it is dead and we want we need to bring
- 12:14Speaker 1: it back. What better way to bring it back than
- 12:16Speaker 1: if you sit there and go, hey, we clearly have
- 12:18Speaker 1: more issues than just who the next head coach is
- 12:20Speaker 1: going to be. We need a top down foundation. Who's
- 12:22Speaker 1: going to be the leader of this ship. We're gonna
- 12:23Speaker 1: name Biff for twenty twenty six. By the way, you
- 12:25Speaker 1: play Oklahoma, you play Indiana, you play Ohio State, you
- 12:28Speaker 1: play Penn State, and you play Oregon. That's who you
- 12:30Speaker 1: play next year. So that's a an absolute gauntlet for
- 12:34Speaker 1: a guy to come into losing thirty guys if he
- 12:36Speaker 1: were to come in, If if I'm hearing is true,
- 12:39Speaker 1: make Biff the internead coach use twenty twenty six to
- 12:42Speaker 1: find true leadership from a presidents standpoint, to figure out
- 12:44Speaker 1: what we're gonna do with your ad And if it's
- 12:46Speaker 1: still the same thought process, Let's say Alabama has the
- 12:49Speaker 1: same season they do next year, It's like, probably easier
- 12:53Speaker 1: to get Kaitlyn to born now, isn't it. If you're
- 12:55Speaker 1: looking at Arizona State and it's like, oh, okay, we
- 12:58Speaker 1: want we want Kenny. But Ken he still has this
- 13:00Speaker 1: belief that ASU can be this perennial blue chip program
- 13:05Speaker 1: next year if he goes eight and four again, the
- 13:07Speaker 1: reality sets in and it's like ASU is unfortunately like
- 13:11Speaker 1: it's a state school. It's not like it's not a Michigan,
- 13:13Speaker 1: it's not an Ohio State, it's not an Oregon House
- 13:16Speaker 1: State Nebraska. It's not a school that like the world
- 13:18Speaker 1: is talking about. It's really the reason that you're sitting in.
- 13:20Speaker 1: And it takes longer for guys to figure that out
- 13:22Speaker 1: because a lot of coaches go into ASU, they fix
- 13:25Speaker 1: the problems that take place, they have some a level
- 13:28Speaker 1: of success, they think, oh, this is the new norm,
- 13:30Speaker 1: and then a bunch of shit bags want to come
- 13:32Speaker 1: into Tempe Arizona because the weather's awesome, the girls are beautiful,
- 13:34Speaker 1: and you can party hard, and so it takes people
- 13:37Speaker 1: long and we get there, so maybe you can get
- 13:39Speaker 1: the same guys in the next couple of years or
- 13:41Speaker 1: next year without the price tag being as high. That's
- 13:45Speaker 1: kind of where I've sat since Monday, when I was like,
- 13:47Speaker 1: we need to go after Kenny Dillingham. I've kind of
- 13:50Speaker 1: looked at it from like more of a thirty thousand
- 13:52Speaker 1: foot view, and it's like well, Michigan's got way more problems.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Why not fix those problems. It's a better look for
- 13:57Speaker 1: the school. And Biff Pog every person I've ran across
- 14:01Speaker 1: is like, these kids absolutely love him. And then just
- 14:04Speaker 1: back in with resources. You still want to be competitive, Biff,
- 14:07Speaker 1: bringing your guys, NFL caliber quarterback, coach, a good oc
- 14:12Speaker 1: give these kids what they need from a development standpoint,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and play twenty twenty six.
- 14:16Speaker 2: And it fuck you.
- 14:17Speaker 1: That's a gauntlet, dude, Like it is a gauntlet. So
- 14:20Speaker 1: then if you go seven and five next year, it's
- 14:22Speaker 1: very easy to go. Hey, we figured out all the pieces.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Now let's go find our guy. What is your thought
- 14:27Speaker 1: to that.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I don't think I think it's viable. I think there's
- 14:32Speaker 5: a line on the piece of paper. So you have
- 14:34Speaker 5: one candidate, three candidates, five candidates, and then there's a line.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Wherever the line is, that's the point past which you're
- 14:40Speaker 5: not willing to go because anyone below that line is
- 14:43Speaker 5: too big a risk relative to just keep him. Biff, Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 5: I don't know how deep that line is on the
- 14:48Speaker 5: piece of paper. My guess is probably four candidates deep.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Let's just guess. All right, here's the problem and it's
- 14:54Speaker 5: little apples to orange. Is when you look at an
- 14:56Speaker 5: interim situation in the past versus now, kids can say
- 15:00Speaker 5: they'll stay if the interim is maintained, there's no way
- 15:04Speaker 5: to hold them to it.
- 15:04Speaker 2: True, there's no way. I agree.
- 15:06Speaker 5: And you say, kids, let's say there are fifty kids
- 15:11Speaker 5: in the locker room, sixty kids in the locker room.
- 15:13Speaker 5: All right, Let's say thirty two of them come to
- 15:16Speaker 5: you and say, hey, we're all staying, right. That means
- 15:19Speaker 5: you the consensus based on what you've heard is every
- 15:22Speaker 5: kid we've heard from says they're going to stay. Well,
- 15:24Speaker 5: the ones who aren't gonna stay probably don't have a
- 15:25Speaker 5: lot of motivation to articulate that to you. So there's
- 15:28Speaker 5: a reason why. It's like people who only tell you
- 15:30Speaker 5: look good, man, you look good, you look really good. Well,
- 15:32Speaker 5: no one really wants to look you in the face
- 15:34Speaker 5: and say you look kind of hideous, man. But there
- 15:37Speaker 5: may be a lot of people in the room that
- 15:38Speaker 5: think you're ugly. They just are not telling you. So
- 15:41Speaker 5: it could be similar to that. And also it could
- 15:43Speaker 5: just be that a kid says one thing and does
- 15:44Speaker 5: the other. Because once there's there's a difference between a
- 15:47Speaker 5: hypothetical and Michigan having a press conference saying Biff Pogey
- 15:51Speaker 5: is our interim this year, and then thirteen schools come
- 15:54Speaker 5: in your way, offering you as much, if not more
- 15:56Speaker 5: than Michigan's going to pay you, and saying we're set
- 15:59Speaker 5: up to win championship next year. You guys have to
- 16:02Speaker 5: play that schedule with an interim head coach that pretty
- 16:04Speaker 5: much the whole world knows is only going to be
- 16:06Speaker 5: there one year. That would be the pitch that would
- 16:08Speaker 5: work on some kids. And so I just don't know
- 16:10Speaker 5: if you can afford to go that route in the
- 16:11Speaker 5: portal era, but it still may make sense to go
- 16:15Speaker 5: that route if that If that makes sense, That's why
- 16:18Speaker 5: I think you really, if you put your crosshairs on Kenny,
- 16:22Speaker 5: you just got to offer truly, you can't say no.
- 16:24Speaker 5: And there is a school of thought, by the way
- 16:26Speaker 5: I've talked to people about this, there's a school of
- 16:27Speaker 5: thought that if you're going to go hire a guy
- 16:30Speaker 5: who's like top of the mountain, if you were trying
- 16:32Speaker 5: to get Marcus Freeman or Kaylyndibore or someone like that
- 16:34Speaker 5: to come to ann Arbor, they're probably not coming there
- 16:36Speaker 5: unless they have the full understanding of the eighty situation,
- 16:38Speaker 5: the president situation, they're going to require full alignment. There
- 16:41Speaker 5: is a school of thought that a Kenny Dillingham maybe
- 16:45Speaker 5: and Eli Drinkwitz like a someone like that would almost
- 16:47Speaker 5: look at that situation as a little more advantageous for
- 16:50Speaker 5: them because they walk in and they get to be
- 16:52Speaker 5: a little bit more the center of the world instead
- 16:55Speaker 5: of the world already existing and them just being dropped
- 16:58Speaker 5: into it. Now. I don't know if they think that way,
- 17:00Speaker 5: but that's a school of thought that's out there.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think if you're a decision maker looking
- 17:04Speaker 3: at wherever the line is, like you have your top
- 17:07Speaker 3: four or five candidates and you're being kind of in
- 17:12Speaker 3: prison to the thought of I'm leaning to stay Biff
- 17:14Speaker 3: Pogi because the kids want him to stay.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Like to me, that.
- 17:17Speaker 3: That's that's a that's a recipe for disaster, unless unless
- 17:21Speaker 3: the decision makers truly believe that Biff Pogi is a
- 17:24Speaker 3: head coach. He's head coach calber like, it's a guy
- 17:26Speaker 3: that they want, not at all, Like you take into
- 17:29Speaker 3: account a little bit that the kids want them. If
- 17:30Speaker 3: you're leaning like we want Biff Pogi to be the guy,
- 17:33Speaker 3: then you have the sign offs by the players like
- 17:35Speaker 3: that to me is like secondary. That would be like
- 17:38Speaker 3: a secondary part of the decision. If I'm looking at
- 17:41Speaker 3: who I'm going to bring in as the next head coach.
- 17:42Speaker 5: What did you just get done saying about Sharon? Not
- 17:44Speaker 5: you like a lot of people got done saying it's
- 17:46Speaker 5: about Sharon. They were saying after the USC laws, after
- 17:50Speaker 5: the Ohio State loss. They were just looking at the
- 17:52Speaker 5: situations saying, if Sharon were if our job was open
- 17:56Speaker 5: right now and Sharon was on the open market, would
- 17:58Speaker 5: we hire him? And the answer was pretty much known
- 18:00Speaker 5: from everyone. I'd ask the same thing about Biff. If
- 18:03Speaker 5: if the job were open and you're just you're free
- 18:06Speaker 5: to go anywhere you want to and you're just working
- 18:08Speaker 5: with an open pool of hiring candidates, would Biff be
- 18:11Speaker 5: the guy? If the answer is no, you shouldn't be
- 18:13Speaker 5: your interim Unless it's a really drastic situation.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I feel like it's becoming. It does not feel like
- 18:19Speaker 1: for Michigan it's a very drastic situation. There's a tweet
- 18:21Speaker 1: that went out like this is this Michigan scandal is
- 18:23Speaker 1: the biggest scandal in culturalble since the last Michigan scandal.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Like at this point, I just think like it seems
- 18:30Speaker 1: like there's a lot going on, and I'm sure there's
- 18:32Speaker 1: there's a frame of thought from Michigan. It's like everybody
- 18:34Speaker 1: is just associated with the last five years. Let's get
- 18:36Speaker 1: him out of the building and just start fresh, which
- 18:38Speaker 1: I understand. I'm just trying to think of what is
- 18:41Speaker 1: the best long term move form Michian because let's sake, Canny,
- 18:44Speaker 1: don't sak the job. I'll be already from we're all
- 18:46Speaker 1: we all know Kenny, like we want him to be successful.
- 18:49Speaker 1: He is he going to have Is he gonna be
- 18:51Speaker 1: able to walk into the mission that we have right
- 18:53Speaker 1: now and truly.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Be successful right away?
- 18:55Speaker 1: I don't know that answer, as opposed to if you
- 18:58Speaker 1: give a guy a year, Biff, and it's like, hey,
- 19:01Speaker 1: you get to listen to the year. You understand, we understand,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you got to take this and we're going to all
- 19:05Speaker 1: limit our expectations on everything as you've got lit up
- 19:07Speaker 1: a schedule and we're gonna go find the right coach
- 19:09Speaker 1: and it could be Kenny and going into twenty seven, well,
- 19:12Speaker 1: now you have your present, you have your ad He's
- 19:14Speaker 1: been the choice all the boosters are behind it. In
- 19:17Speaker 1: the world that we live in now with an Il
- 19:20Speaker 1: now he's coming into a much more foundationally put together
- 19:23Speaker 1: school as opposed to this kind of mess that's taking place.
- 19:25Speaker 1: But it goes back to your thing of do you
- 19:27Speaker 1: want to be a center of universe or do you
- 19:28Speaker 1: want the universe to exist and be dropped into it?
- 19:30Speaker 1: And that's just basically their mindset because whoever is the
- 19:33Speaker 1: next guy, I just want them to be successful, And
- 19:35Speaker 1: it seems like this is I've gone from. This decision
- 19:38Speaker 1: has to be made before Christmas if you're going to
- 19:40Speaker 1: hire a coach, like whether it's to Board or dilling
- 19:43Speaker 1: Ham or whoever, it does need to be before Christmas.
- 19:46Speaker 1: But if it goes on past that, we just got
- 19:48Speaker 1: a punt because no one's going to.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Transfer none of that.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It's like, just keep these kids together for a year
- 19:52Speaker 1: or as many as that'll stay. Let's say they're going
- 19:55Speaker 1: to stay and keep it moving.
- 19:58Speaker 3: I'm just thinking in biff shoes, people want me to
- 20:02Speaker 3: have the job, but it sounds like I'll only have
- 20:05Speaker 3: the job for a year.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yeah, think about who Biff is though.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Coach It like a rental car, right, like thinking like
- 20:12Speaker 1: Biff is a self made multi tens of millions of
- 20:15Speaker 1: dollars guys, started his own Headshount got into coaching coach
- 20:18Speaker 1: high school football because he just loves high school football.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Met Harball started doing offensive line drills in a hotel
- 20:25Speaker 1: room with him on a dresser, and he's like, you're
- 20:27Speaker 1: you should come and work with us. He's been a
- 20:29Speaker 1: part of it, goes, takes a job at Charlotte, doesn't
- 20:31Speaker 1: work out for him, comes back as like this analyst
- 20:34Speaker 1: type of guy, Like, dude's not doing it because he
- 20:36Speaker 1: needs money or legacy. He wants to eat coffee, hoggin'dass
- 20:40Speaker 1: ice cream and hang out with his wife. Kind of
- 20:41Speaker 1: need that at Michigan right now. Kind of need a
- 20:43Speaker 1: guy who just gonna eat too much ice cream hanging
- 20:45Speaker 1: out his wife right It kind of might be perfect
- 20:48Speaker 1: for Michigan right now. So but I don't disagree, Like,
- 20:52Speaker 1: is Biff gonna walk away from this and he's gonna
- 20:54Speaker 1: have a bunch of calls for the head coach?
- 20:56Speaker 2: No, yeah he's not.
- 20:58Speaker 1: But if kids are saying they're gonna stay, which you're
- 21:00Speaker 1: absolutely right, there are you guys that are gonna leave?
- 21:02Speaker 2: Why not just keep this? Dude? In here for a
- 21:04Speaker 2: year and a kid might feel some type of way.
- 21:06Speaker 3: But I'll tell you the way these agents and everything
- 21:08Speaker 3: operate behind those doors, they make that pitch to them
- 21:10Speaker 3: like that, he can't you can't trust what's coming out
- 21:13Speaker 3: of these college.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Players mouse, no doubt, no doubt.
- 21:17Speaker 3: I would love to see the domino fall of the Boar,
- 21:19Speaker 3: because then we have a whole we have a well, yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 3: I guess potentially lame, but then you have a whole
- 21:27Speaker 3: nother drama series opening up with the University of Alabama.
- 21:31Speaker 1: And poor Alabama. Who's really had Nick Saban forever? Those
- 21:35Speaker 1: who gets a guy who was at Washington played in
- 21:37Speaker 1: the National Championship and like, all right, we're a SEP
- 21:39Speaker 1: for the next two decades, and then all this ship
- 21:41Speaker 1: goes down up north and they just get uprooted.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Poor Alabama. Alabama. No, there ain't no poor Alabama.
- 21:47Speaker 3: They gottled into this college football playoff that we're about
- 21:50Speaker 3: to talk about.
- 21:50Speaker 5: I will remind you, guys, if you were to check
- 21:52Speaker 5: the out cradle, I would remind everyone you know, the
- 21:57Speaker 5: New York Giants job is still open, right, Yeah, Mike Tomlin,
- 22:02Speaker 5: Marcus Freeman exists too.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Dude, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Hey, I'm a big fan of This is a painism
- 22:11Speaker 3: that doesn't just it doesn't just casually Yeah, it doesn't
- 22:15Speaker 3: just get casually thrown in here. This man doesn't give
- 22:17Speaker 3: a ship about the NFL. He just brought up the
- 22:20Speaker 3: New York Giants.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Out of nowhere. He had a Google where that was
- 22:24Speaker 2: the New York Giants. Job is opened.
- 22:26Speaker 5: You guys know they built met Life Stadius.
- 22:31Speaker 1: We're driving from New York for all people watching, and
- 22:33Speaker 1: we're gonna get back to that just again another way.
- 22:36Speaker 1: We're driving by and would you say. You're like, man,
- 22:39Speaker 1: how long has Met Life Stadium here? And we're like,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I think it's been here for a while, like over
- 22:43Speaker 1: He's like, no, it's been here longer than take You're like.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Oh, for sure.
- 22:46Speaker 1: That just shows how much you just you see their
- 22:49Speaker 1: letters NFL.
- 22:52Speaker 5: Man, I know my venues, but I just I lost
- 22:54Speaker 5: track of time. Met Life is the kid who you
- 22:57Speaker 5: saw when he was a baby, and then he shows
- 22:59Speaker 5: up at fan reunion and he's thirteen years old. He's
- 23:01Speaker 5: got a mustache, and you're like, where did the time go? Yeah,
- 23:04Speaker 5: I look at MetLife and he's my thirteen year old
- 23:06Speaker 5: cousin with a mustache, and I wonder where did the
- 23:08Speaker 5: time go?
- 23:09Speaker 3: So, yeah, where you have a pulse on everything is
- 23:13Speaker 3: the college football world. Now again, you just went you
- 23:16Speaker 3: just went out there. Hey, the New York Giants job
- 23:17Speaker 3: is still upen you never cared about the New York
- 23:19Speaker 3: Giants job. Now it seems like you know a little
- 23:21Speaker 3: something about the New York Giants if you go about
- 23:22Speaker 3: your cousin.
- 23:24Speaker 5: I just think Marcus Freeman is going to be in
- 23:26Speaker 5: play for the Giants job. I think a lot of
- 23:28Speaker 5: people in the college football administrative world know that Slash
- 23:32Speaker 5: expect that. The agency world know that Slash expect that
- 23:36Speaker 5: not a done deal. You know, I'm not going schefter.
- 23:38Speaker 5: We can press him and can kind of corner him
- 23:40Speaker 5: when we get up there, and we can ask him
- 23:42Speaker 5: what he knows about this. But my whole point is
- 23:44Speaker 5: if it's even a remote possibility, and it certainly is,
- 23:48Speaker 5: then that means the Notre Dame job may be open
- 23:51Speaker 5: as well. So the coaching cycle is not close to done.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Yet because you don't just bring up Marcus Freeman at
- 24:01Speaker 3: something you saw surface level.
- 24:04Speaker 5: I think I think the world just ended.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I hear that.
- 24:07Speaker 5: I think that was it word day.
- 24:09Speaker 2: We're just living on our own.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Wow, So this is what it's like. Huh Yeah, so
- 24:13Speaker 5: you know a little bit more, not a whole lot more.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Now I'm saying you know enough to know, like this
- 24:20Speaker 3: will be as serious that Freeman New York.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Yeah, he's gonna get a serious is serious. Absolutely he's
- 24:24Speaker 5: gonna get he is getting a serious. Look. Yeah, Now
- 24:27Speaker 5: what I don't so I when it comes to NFL
- 24:29Speaker 5: job openings from the college perspective, I have racehorse blinders on.
- 24:33Speaker 5: I have like one angle I can see it from. Yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 5: so I have like one sliver of the pie. The
- 24:38Speaker 5: rest of the pie. Got no clue about Got no clue?
- 24:41Speaker 3: Are you a portal guy? You know any direction Nebraska
- 24:44Speaker 3: might be going on?
- 24:44Speaker 5: I got Pete Nakos's number. What do you want to know?
- 24:46Speaker 3: I just want to know who could be on the
- 24:48Speaker 3: target list. I'm sure all the top quarterbacks are. Yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 3: if you leave Nakos can give me a sowreds BEA's number.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Gotcha.
- 24:55Speaker 1: If you heard the name DJ liveway, would you feel
- 24:58Speaker 1: excited about that or nervous about that?
- 25:00Speaker 2: Uh? Excited? Yeah? Yeah? He was on Josh Fate's top
- 25:04Speaker 2: ten sec quarterbacks.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Listen, number one.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Did you did you see uh Josh paid do his Hey, look,
- 25:09Speaker 1: we're gonna look back at our predictions for the year.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Talk about over. Yeah, now I'd be excited.
- 25:15Speaker 3: I think any quarterback that has the ability to be
- 25:18Speaker 3: like a dual threat possibility and can sling the rock around.
- 25:22Speaker 1: It would be wild to see Djagway.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Hey, let me just warn in a Husker Jersey. Let
- 25:25Speaker 5: me just warn you about potential. Potential is like hope,
- 25:28Speaker 5: it's a really really dangerous thing. Don't fall, don't fall
- 25:32Speaker 5: for it.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Can I tell you something? You said those words? He
- 25:35Speaker 1: didn't hear one of them, because this is just a will.
- 25:39Speaker 2: In a nutshell.
- 25:39Speaker 5: You got to show you.
- 25:41Speaker 2: You said.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Three weeks from now, we're gonna pull literally the start
- 25:46Speaker 1: of the new year. We're gonna pull up in nebrassic
- 25:48Speaker 1: Cornhusker schedule. Hey you go, boy, it's my craziest eight
- 25:53Speaker 1: ten to eleven one.
- 25:54Speaker 5: This is not a floor we're standing on. That's ten wins. Okay,
- 25:57Speaker 5: that's the floor.
- 25:59Speaker 2: I do nothing. I do nothing but consumer be careful.
- 26:05Speaker 2: We went seven to five this year. You know, the
- 26:07Speaker 2: potential and hope I was buying into before the year started. Yes,
- 26:10Speaker 2: you do.
- 26:10Speaker 1: You know what the exciting thing is eight and four
- 26:14Speaker 1: floor floor floor.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Four with the schedule next year, Yeah, we play them all.
- 26:22Speaker 2: That would have been catastrophic. We play them all as well. Oregon.
- 26:28Speaker 1: We gotta go to war together next year, arm in arm,
- 26:30Speaker 1: red and blue like the handkerchief thing.
- 26:37Speaker 3: This True Classic Game of the Week is brought to

- 27:04Speaker 2: So hey, we're starting True Classic Game of the week.
- 27:05Speaker 2: That's I'm here right now.
- 27:06Speaker 1: College Football Playoff, College Football Playoff, True Classic Game of
- 27:09Speaker 1: the League. Every Saturday's got games, but only one fits
- 27:12Speaker 1: just right.
- 27:13Speaker 2: This is the true Classic game.
- 27:13Speaker 1: But we go at number nine Alabama versus Number in Oklahoma,
- 27:18Speaker 1: killing bor versus brent A Venables Oklahoma Ie their last
- 27:22Speaker 1: matchup of twenty three to twenty one. Right now, Alabama's
- 27:24Speaker 1: favored in Norman and the total points in the game
- 27:27Speaker 1: is forty and a half. William, oh me, you can.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Be going up. I'm going Oklahoma. I'm going Oklahoma.
- 27:40Speaker 3: And people are probably out there saying, like, why is
- 27:43Speaker 3: will Will's anti Alabama? Now I'm not anti album. My
- 27:45Speaker 3: fight is never has never been against Alabama. My fight
- 27:48Speaker 3: has been against the system because it's broken and it's
- 27:52Speaker 3: nothing but corruption.
- 27:53Speaker 5: Yeah, crimson corruption, crimson corruption.
- 27:56Speaker 3: They're just happened to be part of it because they
- 27:57Speaker 3: did like the way that they ended the year they
- 28:00Speaker 3: got you know, they had their big bad.
- 28:02Speaker 2: You know father big conference. In this situation, come in deep.
- 28:06Speaker 3: State college football swaddle and put it passing in their mouth.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Tell them it's gonna be okay.
- 28:10Speaker 3: You're not gonna fall a lick in these college We're
- 28:12Speaker 3: gonna protect you as much as we can protect you
- 28:14Speaker 3: because we have another mission and that's the ACC and
- 28:17Speaker 3: that's squeezed out Notre Dame football. So my fight's always
- 28:20Speaker 3: been against the system, not as much Alabama.
- 28:21Speaker 2: They just happened to be. They just happened to be.
- 28:25Speaker 2: You know that target that I'm looking at.
- 28:27Speaker 3: But I got go ahead, you know question fish, I
- 28:31Speaker 3: have Oklahoma here because Oklahoma's at home. I'm kind of
- 28:35Speaker 3: favoring these teams that are getting to play at home,
- 28:37Speaker 3: getting that juice, the energy that they'll have. And in Norman, Oklahoma,
- 28:41Speaker 3: I'm envisioning a healthier Materier because we saw the way
- 28:43Speaker 3: Materia was going your favorite before the season started. For
- 28:46Speaker 3: the Heisman, I just I think a healthy Marterier. And
- 28:49Speaker 3: then I also just think something is up with Ty Simpson.
- 28:52Speaker 3: You look at his the first part of the first
- 28:56Speaker 3: the majority of the season, he was thrown for about
- 28:58Speaker 3: seventy percent completion rate, two yards, twenty two touchdowns, two interceptions.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Heisman A dude who is in the Heisman conversations, love
- 29:06Speaker 3: me some. Ty Simpson keeps the ball high and tight.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Don't forget Alabama keep the ball high and tight. I've
- 29:10Speaker 3: been at an Alabama guy throughout the year when I
- 29:12Speaker 3: picked when I picked you. But over the last three
- 29:15Speaker 3: Ty Simpsons throw for fifty four percent, averaging one hundred
- 29:19Speaker 3: and sixty yards of the year, four touchdowns, three interceptions,
- 29:21Speaker 3: and we.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Got to watch.
- 29:23Speaker 3: We watched the SEC championship game and something just looks off,
- 29:27Speaker 3: could be injured. And so my mentality is Alabama going
- 29:32Speaker 3: out to Norman Oklahoma. I like Norman, I like a
- 29:35Speaker 3: healthier materier that they're going to continue to stop Alabama's
- 29:38Speaker 3: run game. I know Oklahoma doesn't have much of a
- 29:40Speaker 3: run game either, but I'm rolling with the Sooners.
- 29:42Speaker 1: They don't small line, they don't they don't want to run.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:46Speaker 3: And then again, if you're leaning on ty Simpson and
- 29:48Speaker 3: I'm of the belief that something's up with ty Simpson,
- 29:50Speaker 3: I'm just not.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'm not getting in that foxhole with Alabama.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Okay.
- 29:55Speaker 3: And if I've had this stance of Alabama shouldn't be
- 29:57Speaker 3: in the college wall will playoff, I'm kind of I'm
- 30:00Speaker 3: sitting there seeing if they're going to drop this game.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I almost need them to lose so then I can
- 30:03Speaker 3: continue to beat that drum that they made the wrong decision.
- 30:07Speaker 1: This has nothing to do with the choice you're making
- 30:09Speaker 1: of which team, But if Oklahoma does beat Alabama, definitely
- 30:14Speaker 1: adds to a spicy storyline.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Definitely adds to a spicy storyline.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I've never been a believer that the playoff results have
- 30:21Speaker 5: anything to do with the selection process. Ie, last year,
- 30:24Speaker 5: a lot of people thought SMU shouldn't get in. I
- 30:26Speaker 5: thought they should have gotten in. They got their doors
- 30:28Speaker 5: blown off in round one. I still thought they should
- 30:31Speaker 5: have been in. It's just they played a much better
- 30:33Speaker 5: team on the road and they lost. But you get
- 30:35Speaker 5: judged on your body of work in the season, not
- 30:37Speaker 5: retroactively what you did in the playoff. So having said that,
- 30:41Speaker 5: I slightly lean Oklahoma, but I think I've got a
- 30:44Speaker 5: better side on this. I think I got a better
- 30:46Speaker 5: angle on this, and I think it's the under at
- 30:49Speaker 5: forty and a half. I feel the best about that
- 30:52Speaker 5: because I do agree with you about Ty Simpson. So
- 30:54Speaker 5: last game, when these two teams plays about a month ago,
- 30:58Speaker 5: they got their offensive production. Bama out gamed them four
- 31:00Speaker 5: h six to two twelve. They had a twenty three
- 31:02Speaker 5: to twelve first down edge, But it was the turnovers,
- 31:05Speaker 5: and they weren't freak turnovers, they were forced turnovers. Oklahoma
- 31:08Speaker 5: did a great job punching the ball, loose taking the ball,
- 31:11Speaker 5: and I wonder if Alabama is taking a top thirty
- 31:16Speaker 5: caliber passing attack into Norman. On paper, it says they're
- 31:20Speaker 5: number twenty three in the country. But we watched them
- 31:22Speaker 5: the last month of the season.
- 31:23Speaker 3: I was gonna say on paper, it's kind of helped
- 31:25Speaker 3: fluff them. Yeah, as well as they performed in the
- 31:27Speaker 3: first what eight weeks.
- 31:29Speaker 5: So you've had two weeks off. They are getting Josh quavisback,
- 31:34Speaker 5: Parker brails for it at center a lot healthier. You're
- 31:37Speaker 5: hoping you get healthier if they are like that, If
- 31:39Speaker 5: that switch clicks again for them, they could throw for
- 31:42Speaker 5: three hundred on Oklahoma because they already did, so did Ole, Miss,
- 31:45Speaker 5: so did Tennessee. So that's been done a few times
- 31:48Speaker 5: this year. My concern is twofold number one. Maybe it's
- 31:51Speaker 5: still not there, in which case you're talking about winning
- 31:55Speaker 5: with seventeen points on the board and hoping you hold
- 31:57Speaker 5: them to thirteen. And then secondly is BAM has been
- 32:00Speaker 5: dominated in field position against Oklahoma and also against Georgia.
- 32:04Speaker 5: Against Oklahoma, I think OU had four drives start in
- 32:08Speaker 5: Bama territory and Bama didn't started drive past their own
- 32:11Speaker 5: twenty five yard line. So Oklahoma just tilted the field
- 32:14Speaker 5: as hard as I've seen in any big game all year.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Georgia did something similar to Bama. If they could correct
- 32:19Speaker 5: the field position stuff, and if their offense is just
- 32:21Speaker 5: a touch better, you don't need a ton of points
- 32:23Speaker 5: to beat Oklahoma. Here, everyone knows that Bama's defense has
- 32:26Speaker 5: been playing really, really good ball. It's just that their
- 32:28Speaker 5: backs have been put against the wall by the other
- 32:31Speaker 5: two thirds of the team. So if they can play
- 32:33Speaker 5: a standardized game, I would probably like Bama to win
- 32:36Speaker 5: the game. There's no guarantee I get that. What I
- 32:38Speaker 5: do think I'll get to a low scoring game, So
- 32:40Speaker 5: I'll take the under at forty and a half.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Do you think that John Matier him getting healthy and
- 32:45Speaker 1: having these three weeks arrest his hand when he heard
- 32:48Speaker 1: it and we knew what the injury was. This is
- 32:50Speaker 1: an injury that the only thing that fixes this injury
- 32:52Speaker 1: after surgery is rest in time. Because before he got
- 32:55Speaker 1: that injury, he was sitting there at a Heisman front runner.
- 32:57Speaker 2: He's your a.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Heisman guy, correct. He was the front runner when he
- 32:59Speaker 1: got her, right, he was a front runner when he
- 33:01Speaker 1: got hurt. And he was a guy that was dynamic
- 33:03Speaker 1: with his legs. He put the ball anywhere all over
- 33:05Speaker 1: the field. He could throw it deep to the sidelines
- 33:07Speaker 1: on a missile, a little arc on it, like he
- 33:09Speaker 1: was doing things. It's like, oh, this guy's a first
- 33:12Speaker 1: overall pick, top ten type of guy. Now we've gotten
- 33:14Speaker 1: these twenty one days for him to sit rest and
- 33:17Speaker 1: do some rehab on the thumb. When he comes back,
- 33:20Speaker 1: you're kind of rooting for him. He's like, Oh, what
- 33:21Speaker 1: a guy's got. Like he's over in Chipotle talking shit,
- 33:25Speaker 1: being like I'm playing this week, I'm doing all these things.
- 33:27Speaker 1: And so we've kind of seen them. They lose to
- 33:30Speaker 1: Texas and then we kind of all just forget about
- 33:32Speaker 1: Oklahoma and they just you know, continue to win and
- 33:34Speaker 1: do their thing and then make it in the playoffs.
- 33:36Speaker 1: The thing that's the biggest thing for me is one
- 33:38Speaker 1: they're at home. They're a great team at home Alabama
- 33:42Speaker 1: watching their skid the back half of the season, like
- 33:45Speaker 1: just kind of not put it together, their top twenty
- 33:48Speaker 1: three offense. But then we watched them against the SEC Championship,
- 33:51Speaker 1: we watched them against South Carolina, like we see all
- 33:54Speaker 1: these things kind of take place, and it's like, all right,
- 33:57Speaker 1: they're getting healthier, but they're not as healthy they can be.
- 34:00Speaker 1: The questions with Ty Simpson, like we love them high
- 34:02Speaker 1: and Ti he'sdapping the boys off as the game's about
- 34:05Speaker 1: to start. But I just think a healthy jo Mateer
- 34:08Speaker 1: Bretta Bennable's defense is the thing is the thing that
- 34:10Speaker 1: gets this done. So I'm half with you the first
- 34:14Speaker 1: half about caddling, swaddling and loving on a baby and
- 34:16Speaker 1: having them be Alabama.
- 34:17Speaker 5: I'm out on that, yea.
- 34:19Speaker 1: And I support you in good luck with the Crimson
- 34:21Speaker 1: the Crimson cult not my again.
- 34:24Speaker 3: The fight is and against Bama. The fight is against
- 34:26Speaker 3: the system. Okay, fair enough. So you believe the systems, right,
- 34:30Speaker 3: you believe the system.
- 34:31Speaker 5: You're a system guy.
- 34:32Speaker 2: System.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I think I think the way we talked about the system,
- 34:35Speaker 1: I think Alabama is in that the way I believe the.
- 34:36Speaker 2: System should still should be made. We agree, So I
- 34:40Speaker 2: don't think Alabama. He says process is broken, process.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Pruss is broken. Process is broken. Alabama fixed the process.
- 34:47Speaker 1: And I'm assuming our brains because you know, we think
- 34:49Speaker 1: very much alike. Based on the conversation I have whe
- 34:51Speaker 1: Josh pay took it over and asked all the right questions.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I think Alabama is still in there, but basically finish
- 34:57Speaker 1: the season. The job a tier getting healthy. I like
- 35:01Speaker 1: John Mattier.
- 35:02Speaker 5: I like Oklahoma if Alabama wins this game. Remember when
- 35:06Speaker 5: we were doing the alt cast, I said like thirty
- 35:08Speaker 5: seven different times, cause there were thirty seven different instances
- 35:11Speaker 5: where it was warranted how bad Bama was missing their tailbacks,
- 35:14Speaker 5: not because they were going to run the ball for
- 35:15Speaker 5: four at four point eight yards per carrier, because they
- 35:18Speaker 5: couldn't they couldn't incorporate tailbacks in the passing game. All right,
- 35:21Speaker 5: So jam Miller's back in this game, So that's a
- 35:24Speaker 5: really really important thing to watch, along with Quavis being
- 35:27Speaker 5: back and along with their center Parker Brerelsford not dragging
- 35:30Speaker 5: a peg leg around trying to start. So if Bama
- 35:32Speaker 5: does win, that's why it probably happened. But I just
- 35:35Speaker 5: feel so good that at least one team is going
- 35:38Speaker 5: to have their offense really throttled, maybe both of them
- 35:41Speaker 5: down to the point where I think the under is
- 35:43Speaker 5: the safer play for me.
- 35:45Speaker 3: And then also Oklahoma's just gotten due like keep to
- 35:48Speaker 3: themselves these last couple of weeks. Yeah, it's been about
- 35:52Speaker 3: just jo Mateer getting healthy because we understand the hand
- 35:55Speaker 3: and the rehab A lot of is just some rests
- 35:57Speaker 3: and everything else. But they've just been able to work
- 35:59Speaker 3: in the lab being the way nobody's talking about, nobody's
- 36:01Speaker 3: bothering them. Alabama, you need all of these things that
- 36:04Speaker 3: kind of you're hoping this gets back on track because
- 36:06Speaker 3: of what we saw in the first eight weeks.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Is something going on with ty Simpson, not to.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Mention too, the bar just being in all of these
- 36:12Speaker 3: in all this conversation with coaching, like, there are distractions
- 36:15Speaker 3: going around, and I have no doubt that the Alabama
- 36:17Speaker 3: team's handled it well, but we all know that that
- 36:19Speaker 3: can play a factor. And then you got to pack
- 36:21Speaker 3: up and go on the road to Norman, which again
- 36:23Speaker 3: I think is a will be a big X factor
- 36:26Speaker 3: for Oklahoma on Friday.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Josh, is there a possibility that Alabama goes on a
- 36:30Speaker 1: scores Earth type of thing like oh I State did
- 36:32Speaker 1: last year?
- 36:34Speaker 5: I don't. There's an outside chance if they were to
- 36:37Speaker 5: get the guys healthy at the right time, then they
- 36:40Speaker 5: could look like the passing attack that they looked like
- 36:42Speaker 5: earlier in the year. But remember even when they were
- 36:45Speaker 5: humming like there it's such a fine needle to thread,
- 36:48Speaker 5: they were still winning close games. The Vandy game, I
- 36:51Speaker 5: know it was a double digit game, the Tennessee game
- 36:53Speaker 5: was a double digit game. Those like turned on one play.
- 36:55Speaker 5: There was a pick six downder the goal line in
- 36:57Speaker 5: the Tennessee game right before the half. So they still
- 36:59Speaker 5: have to like thread the needle. But the answer to
- 37:02Speaker 5: your questions, yes, I'd have to see it to believe it.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Is it the answer to the question.
- 37:07Speaker 3: You believe Bama could go on a run and win
- 37:09Speaker 3: the National here's my question. He was the original pick.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I know, but I also want to pretend.
- 37:13Speaker 3: I also want to pretend, like part of me thinks,
- 37:15Speaker 3: like I don't think does he think that they can
- 37:17Speaker 3: really win the national title? Or does he know his
- 37:19Speaker 3: dad Savannah watches the show they have They they like
- 37:23Speaker 3: themselves some Bama. He knows the truth, but he's like,
- 37:26Speaker 3: I gotta go on, you know, I gotta I gotta
- 37:28Speaker 3: let him know if there is an outside an outside.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Wow, what's up?
- 37:35Speaker 5: Wow?
- 37:36Speaker 3: That's heavy with what in regards to what Josh got it?
- 37:41Speaker 5: Let him answer the question. You're asking a lot of
- 37:43Speaker 5: deep questions about Alabama. Here to be an anti system guy.
- 37:45Speaker 5: There was a question from the audience that is kind
- 37:49Speaker 5: of leading me to believe that maybe it is a
- 37:50Speaker 5: little more personal between you and Alabama than you've let on.
- 37:53Speaker 3: There, there there's some There is absolutely some personal ties
- 37:56Speaker 3: in it because everybody sits up here and they're also
- 37:58Speaker 3: pro sec about everything else.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Like everybody.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I'm the guy.
- 38:02Speaker 3: It's the system protected Alabama to be in this college
- 38:05Speaker 3: football playoff the way that they ended the year. They
- 38:08Speaker 3: are not a team in my opinion, that should have
- 38:10Speaker 3: been in the college football Playoff. So knowing that, knowing
- 38:13Speaker 3: that that's my feeling on perspective of watching the game,
- 38:17Speaker 3: understanding the system and everything else, do I think that
- 38:19Speaker 3: they can go on a run and win the national title.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I don't think that they're a football team that can
- 38:23Speaker 3: win the national title this year.
- 38:25Speaker 5: Josh Clump just handed me a trivia question. Name the
- 38:29Speaker 5: first team left out of last year's college football playoff
- 38:34Speaker 5: Taylor Alabama. That would be correct.
- 38:39Speaker 1: This man talked about I'm against the system. I'm not
- 38:43Speaker 1: against the Crimson Guide. And all it took was one
- 38:46Speaker 1: question to pull the thread. You'd be like, I'll be
- 38:49Speaker 1: honest as you see bias.
- 38:53Speaker 5: Everybody sits up here.
- 38:57Speaker 2: To be in the season.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Going SEC is the most death and my mouth, my
- 39:00Speaker 1: jaw hits the ground.
- 39:01Speaker 2: I'm like, bro what happened.
- 39:02Speaker 1: We've been a pro like, we've been very clear, we've
- 39:05Speaker 1: been biased Big ten guys this whole time.
- 39:07Speaker 2: You're like, bro, what's the truth?
- 39:09Speaker 1: And now it all comes back. You just mad the
- 39:13Speaker 1: elephants back in.
- 39:15Speaker 2: H This is blowing my mind.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Buddy, your words produced mine.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Yeah. The system, this system.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I can't be more clear here here you're talking to me, brother,
- 39:34Speaker 3: I know I got you. This system protected Alabama to
- 39:38Speaker 3: staying in the college football.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Player except for last year when the system boxed Alabama out.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Hey, come on, I'll tell you this right now. The
- 39:48Speaker 1: system did not protect Alabama. Alabama earned the right to
- 39:52Speaker 1: play the SEC Championships when you have multiple other teams.
- 39:54Speaker 2: No, no, I gave you.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I gave you, I gave you your chance. I let
- 39:58Speaker 1: you speak. I'll let you speak. I can do the
- 40:01Speaker 1: back and forth, and if you want for a little bit, I.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Can't be interrupted that a conversation.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Talk to me about how you agree with the system
- 40:05Speaker 1: of college football. I don't agree with how the totality
- 40:08Speaker 1: of the system works. But if we're talking strictly about Alabama,
- 40:11Speaker 1: Alabama was given the right to play in an extra
- 40:15Speaker 1: game and for you to hurt them so bad that
- 40:17Speaker 1: they can't play in the playoffs now would take away
- 40:20Speaker 1: from all championship games. So if you're saying, hey, we
- 40:22Speaker 1: should rid of championship games, then we can have a
- 40:25Speaker 1: whole new conversation. But as it sits right now, you
- 40:28Speaker 1: can't let Alabama be out of the playoffs after Ole
- 40:32Speaker 1: Miss and Oklahoma and A and M are also in
- 40:35Speaker 1: and they weren't good enough to play in the SEC Championship.
- 40:38Speaker 3: This is a much larger conversation because it involves several
- 40:43Speaker 3: different teams to where if you can't sit there and
- 40:46Speaker 3: see that deep state college football there was zero, zero punishment.
- 40:52Speaker 2: For that ass whooping in the SEC Championship, and then
- 40:55Speaker 2: you saw punishment going on with other conferences.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Big twelve B. Why you at large rankings. I'm not
- 41:01Speaker 3: talking about the collegewabill playoff. I'm talking about at large rankings.
- 41:04Speaker 3: If you can't see the puppeteering that was happening to
- 41:07Speaker 3: manipulate the system squeeze out another football team that I
- 41:10Speaker 3: won't name because everybody's like, oh, you want Notre Dame
- 41:12Speaker 3: in the collegewall playoffs.
- 41:13Speaker 2: No, no, no, no.
- 41:14Speaker 3: They you can sit there and look at it and
- 41:16Speaker 3: be like they got squeezed out and if you look
- 41:19Speaker 3: at everything that happened, all the insurance policies that were
- 41:22Speaker 3: put in place to make sure that happens because Virginia
- 41:25Speaker 3: couldn't win the ACC title game. I don't know how
- 41:28Speaker 3: else to explain it. I know it's getting directed to me.
- 41:31Speaker 3: It's just Alabama sec bias everything else. But this is
- 41:35Speaker 3: a much larger conversation because the system failed this year.
- 41:39Speaker 2: The system was broken this year. Can't tell you something.
- 41:42Speaker 1: You just talked about the system and how much it's failed,
- 41:45Speaker 1: but not one time brought up why Alabama should be
- 41:47Speaker 1: out BYU was never in it because on BYU was
- 41:51Speaker 1: never in it. Notre Dame. I understand your argument. Unfortunately
- 41:55Speaker 1: your argument is incorrect Notre Dame. Notre Dame lost to Miami,
- 42:01Speaker 1: and they had a head to head against another team
- 42:04Speaker 1: and Miami beat them by more later in the season.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Okay, so talking.
- 42:08Speaker 3: About time, what was that Miami that last part Miami
- 42:11Speaker 3: beat them by That played no factor in Miami getting
- 42:15Speaker 3: in the playoff. Miami is in the playoff not because
- 42:18Speaker 3: of their head to head win. Miami's in the playoff
- 42:20Speaker 3: because Virginia lost the ACC title.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I don't disagree with that. I don't disagree with that's
- 42:25Speaker 1: what ended up happening. However, if I sat there, I said,
- 42:27Speaker 1: look at it, Taylor, who should be in Miami in
- 42:29Speaker 1: her dame. It's clear Miami should be an over dinner dame. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: he's best, best, it's most deserving. Alabama did did nothing,
- 42:37Speaker 1: all right. They had the right to go play in
- 42:39Speaker 1: a game. Now, they had the right to go play
- 42:41Speaker 1: se championship. They earned it over everybody else in that conference,
- 42:44Speaker 1: and they get their ass swept, no doubt. There's the
- 42:47Speaker 1: day if you take them out of the playoffs, it's dead,
- 42:50Speaker 1: and that's crazy.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Alabama did nothing wrong here. B Yu was never in it.
- 42:55Speaker 1: They were a placeholder for these G five teams, and
- 42:58Speaker 1: you and I are very aligned on how G five
- 43:00Speaker 1: should not be in it. So BYU, you can just
- 43:03Speaker 1: crumple that throughout the window. Miami notre dame. I understand
- 43:06Speaker 1: your argument, but the reality is you're talking about best,
- 43:09Speaker 1: I'm talking about most deserving.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Both of our arguments play. If we live in those
- 43:13Speaker 2: worlds and Alabama did nothing to.
- 43:15Speaker 3: You, I see where I was wrong, and I see
- 43:17Speaker 3: where my anger has been zeroed in on Alabama being
- 43:20Speaker 3: in and me going as far as to say they
- 43:22Speaker 3: should be in the college football second, and that is
- 43:25Speaker 3: where I spoke out of both sides of my mouth there,
- 43:27Speaker 3: because when I'm making the argument about the system at large,
- 43:30Speaker 3: it came down to, hey, there's also a world where
- 43:32Speaker 3: I can see Alabama as long as they fall back
- 43:35Speaker 3: a slot. But there was zero There was zero repercussion
- 43:38Speaker 3: from what happened. Oh what we saw in championship, we
- 43:41Speaker 3: can't hear that. So I agree that my anger got
- 43:43Speaker 3: very much directed toward Alabama. My anger got very much
- 43:45Speaker 3: directed toward Alabama. But the system at large broke.
- 43:50Speaker 5: I think we're okay. I think we're okay. No, he
- 43:52Speaker 5: was doing the deep state color.
- 43:53Speaker 1: We can't shake hands. No you apologized. I'm like, oh great,
- 43:58Speaker 1: that's growth. Let me shake his hands. We can come
- 44:01Speaker 1: back together. And you're still mad. No, okay, all good? Yeah,
- 44:07Speaker 1: all good.
- 44:08Speaker 5: He was doing the thing he was doing.
- 44:10Speaker 1: So you're on Oklahoma for a multitude of reasons because
- 44:16Speaker 1: I think they're gonna win and you're on the under.
- 44:19Speaker 5: I have no idea what just happened. No, it was
- 44:22Speaker 5: a it was a two of five area. Coulde number
- 44:24Speaker 5: they they heard some stuff was happening on the.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Show, and you're directed at the Crimson Tide chicken.
- 44:31Speaker 1: So it's it's don't don't don't like that, Like that's
- 44:34Speaker 1: the problem, Like because you said no, you said I
- 44:39Speaker 1: you by you saying I understand Will's brain just heard
- 44:42Speaker 1: it's okay for me to do what I just did,
- 44:45Speaker 1: and we can't have it when someone's when someone's wrong,
- 44:48Speaker 1: it's okay for them to sit in it.
- 44:49Speaker 2: No, no, no, I you did this. Yeah yeah, yeah, back,
- 44:52Speaker 2: you did this. I got too zoomed in.
- 44:54Speaker 3: I got too zoomed in because my zoom out it
- 44:57Speaker 3: wasn't when I'm talking about it all at large again, really,
- 45:01Speaker 3: the at large ranking protection that happened in the acc
- 45:05Speaker 3: stuff is where my anger is about.
- 45:08Speaker 1: This is I take a wild guess at what game
- 45:09Speaker 1: you're taking who you're taking in Miami Texas A and m.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Notre Dame, Notre Dame being not it ain't being both
- 45:16Speaker 2: of them teams right now. Yeah, I know.
- 45:22Speaker 1: It's It was kind of sad to watch Marcus Freeman
- 45:24Speaker 1: tap him on the leg at the Heisman ceremony and
- 45:26Speaker 1: be like, we love verb the State of the Year, and.
- 45:27Speaker 2: He just smiled and nod.
- 45:31Speaker 5: He gowned the best.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Yeah wash, she the best.
- 45:35Speaker 1: But Freeman sounds like he's gone to going to that
- 45:38Speaker 1: brand new stadium at Life in New York, brand spanking
- 45:41Speaker 1: new next game.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Where's going man?
- 45:45Speaker 3: Nicole Bultrom Superior bragging rights for Superior Life here?
- 45:51Speaker 2: Now?
- 45:51Speaker 1: What is the record right now? Eight and seven? I'm
- 45:53Speaker 1: eight and seven. I believe I'm mating seven. I think
- 45:58Speaker 1: the tide. Do you think we're taught? Let's just go.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Rock shoot Superiors with.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Superior number ten Miami at Texas A and M A
- 46:21Speaker 1: and M is favorite minus three and a half total
- 46:23Speaker 1: ports of the game is forty nine and a half points.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Imagine being in both of these games, which we will be, Yes,
- 46:29Speaker 5: we will.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Can't you guys have fun? Man? I keep forgetting that
- 46:34Speaker 2: you're not. Yeah Will?
- 46:36Speaker 3: I love my family, I know I have a couple
- 46:38Speaker 3: of masters.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Yeah Will.
- 46:42Speaker 2: This is a great opportunity for you to be like,
- 46:44Speaker 2: I'm not going with these.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Games in South Indiana. To be in this game is
- 46:47Speaker 5: in South.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Bend in Miami, the A and M.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Neither of these teams deserve to be in Notre Dame
- 46:50Speaker 3: should be playing in this football game.
- 46:51Speaker 2: An m lost one one game.
- 46:54Speaker 5: To Texas at the end of the year for aud
- 46:58Speaker 5: alert forra aud alert, clump. I'm pushed my heart out.
- 47:01Speaker 5: I'm gonna text you.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Do you have you do have a heart out?
- 47:06Speaker 2: Do you need to go?
- 47:07Speaker 5: The heart out is not hard enough to where I
- 47:09Speaker 5: can't change it, gotcha, So let's just continue. I just
- 47:12Speaker 5: once we talked Deep State College, I had to move
- 47:15Speaker 5: my heart out back.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't have a big feel.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I leaned the again in this first round, especially between
- 47:25Speaker 3: the games with Oklahoma Alabama.
- 47:27Speaker 2: I lean in favor of the team that's playing at home.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Uh So I'm rolling.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Texas A and M in this situation, but I'll be
- 47:36Speaker 3: I mean, Miami has weapons, they have the defensive line,
- 47:38Speaker 3: they can get after the quarterback. Y so does A
- 47:42Speaker 3: and M so.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Does an M to run the ball, Miami does a
- 47:45Speaker 1: great job against the run. Which quarterback is going to
- 47:48Speaker 1: show up? Which version of which quarterback is gonna show up?
- 47:51Speaker 1: Marcehall Reid?
- 47:51Speaker 2: Who do you have?
- 47:53Speaker 1: Honestly, I go back and forth. I literally did not
- 47:54Speaker 1: make a decisions till I sat in this chair, And
- 47:56Speaker 1: as I'm even speaking right now, I don't really have
- 47:58Speaker 1: vision A piece of me wants to go I mean, now,
- 48:00Speaker 1: the bias in me of not having a whole lot
- 48:03Speaker 1: of respect for the ACC right now is really infiltrating
- 48:06Speaker 1: my brain because I'm sitting here with the SEC. It's like, yeah,
- 48:08Speaker 1: people want to hand out text C and M because
- 48:10Speaker 1: their schedule is really shitty. But it's still the SEC,
- 48:14Speaker 1: and it's a lot faster paced. It's Kyle Field, It's
- 48:18Speaker 1: I mean, it's the cult.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Wait what.
- 48:21Speaker 5: He doesn't think that you said that. He thinks that
- 48:24Speaker 5: that was planted in you by the deep state. It's
- 48:27Speaker 5: still the.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Because he just looks over a gear like because it's
- 48:31Speaker 2: s It.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Is the SEC, and it's like there's a piece in
- 48:34Speaker 1: me living in Nashville for a long enough time. It's like, yeah,
- 48:36Speaker 1: that ship is pretty fast. They do operate a little differently.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Those defensive ends can really get after that defense flies around.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Marshall Reed can use his leg what.
- 48:45Speaker 5: We we we play some good ball down I'm just
- 48:47Speaker 5: waiting for we to come out of your mouth. That's
- 48:49Speaker 5: when it's done.
- 48:49Speaker 2: It is not we.
- 48:50Speaker 5: It's not we. It is not Still.
- 48:52Speaker 1: They do a great job playing football down here, south
- 48:56Speaker 1: down south, right, They do a great job but I mean,
- 49:01Speaker 1: Miami's done a really good job against mobile quarterbacks all
- 49:03Speaker 1: year long.
- 49:03Speaker 5: Oh yeah, tell me about it.
- 49:05Speaker 1: I know I've literally watched that. I got that information
- 49:07Speaker 1: from your prediction show on YouTube. So that's your information.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I'm just laying it out here right now.
- 49:12Speaker 2: You mean tell me that. You fucking said it.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Just there as you, right in the face, like he's
- 49:19Speaker 3: telling you something.
- 49:19Speaker 5: He's like, yeah, you have the idea. You don't ever
- 49:22Speaker 5: doubt how much I love you because you have no idea.
- 49:24Speaker 5: How many times this year I've sat here and watched
- 49:27Speaker 5: you have the audacity to look me in my eyes
- 49:29Speaker 5: and cite direct statistics.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Off from my show how almletna sits you with forty
- 49:34Speaker 1: forty eight total yard It's some dual threat quarterbacks.
- 49:37Speaker 5: And I don't even break a smile. I just nod.
- 49:39Speaker 5: That's great information. Yeah, that's awesome, that's beautiful.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Wow, I mean, you have to say it once. Let
- 49:45Speaker 1: me get to say it.
- 49:45Speaker 5: Who were they? They were Byron Brown in us F
- 49:49Speaker 5: It was the Kid at Virginia Tech. It was Kid Florida,
- 49:54Speaker 5: a DJ Lagway. They played him. They play Karen Jroones
- 49:57Speaker 5: with at Virginia Tech. They played two more Kevin Jennings
- 50:01Speaker 5: at SMU, so they play five mobile quarterbacks. This year,
- 50:04Speaker 5: the mobile qbs had seventy four combined rushing yards against them.
- 50:07Speaker 5: So I don't necessarily know. This is just kind of
- 50:09Speaker 5: segue to my pick. I just don't know if Marcel
- 50:11Speaker 5: Read's getting it done with his legs, which means if
- 50:13Speaker 5: they shut down A and M's ground game, it's Marcel
- 50:16Speaker 5: Reid throwing the ball three multi itt games in his
- 50:19Speaker 5: final five, so he kind of tailed off. He kind
- 50:23Speaker 5: of tailed off a little bit. That's what makes you nervous.
- 50:25Speaker 5: But on the flip side, okay, well, Miami didn't really
- 50:30Speaker 5: run the ball to the degree I thought they would
- 50:32Speaker 5: this year. To begin with, they're in the seventies and
- 50:34Speaker 5: rushing numbers, and A and M will shut you down
- 50:36Speaker 5: running the ball too. But the difference is A and
- 50:38Speaker 5: M has the number one sack rate in the country
- 50:40Speaker 5: with home field at their back on third down, and
- 50:43Speaker 5: so I ultimately think it's a Carson Bet game, it's
- 50:45Speaker 5: a Marcel Reid game, and whoever can get the job
- 50:47Speaker 5: done on third down without turning the ball over three
- 50:50Speaker 5: times is the winner. And if that's your prediction, that's
- 50:53Speaker 5: where I'm going you're not in your head. I assume
- 50:55Speaker 5: you kind of sort of agree with that. It's a
- 50:57Speaker 5: really high variance crapshoot of a game. So I just
- 51:00Speaker 5: took the home field team that I think may be
- 51:02Speaker 5: able to run the ball more consistently. But I have
- 51:04Speaker 5: no strong field, So I'm taking A and M minus
- 51:07Speaker 5: the points. I have no strong feel in this game. Yeah,
- 51:10Speaker 5: I'll take Miami. I'll take Miami.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Miami plus three and a half. Acc bias.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Show me something. This is the last time I'm gonna
- 51:22Speaker 1: believe in them.
- 51:23Speaker 5: This is it.
- 51:24Speaker 2: This is it. This is the last time I'm gonna
- 51:26Speaker 2: believe in Miami. This is it.
- 51:28Speaker 5: You don't want a playoff game on the road? Is
- 51:30Speaker 5: three and a half point?
- 51:30Speaker 2: Dog?
- 51:30Speaker 5: You're dead to me?
- 51:31Speaker 2: Nope, yep, Yes, that's tough.
- 51:35Speaker 5: That's where I improved every year down there.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Don't let Miami get blown out.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Don't let him lose.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Don't let Miami get blown out.
- 51:41Speaker 1: That would be a lot of what you would think
- 51:44Speaker 1: is a lot of armor or amo. Yeah, but it
- 51:48Speaker 1: still wouldn't matter. They could lose the game by twenty
- 51:51Speaker 1: one points, dude, they still deserve it being over over.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Notre dame, that's your opinion. What's your is your is?
- 52:00Speaker 5: I told you my opinion is. We're about to talk
- 52:02Speaker 5: about some games that are even more extreme, like Jmu Kulane.
- 52:07Speaker 5: My opinion wouldn't even change on who should or shouldn't
- 52:09Speaker 5: have made the playoff if one of those teams wins. Outright,
- 52:12Speaker 5: I don't base my opinion whatsoever on what the outcomes
- 52:15Speaker 5: of the games are. I look at your body of
- 52:18Speaker 5: work and I decide should you or should you not
- 52:20Speaker 5: be in the playoff. But like so, we disagree. In Alabama,
- 52:23Speaker 5: I think they should have been in. You don't think
- 52:24Speaker 5: they should have been in. But either way, you think,
- 52:27Speaker 5: to me, you should etch your opinion in stone before
- 52:31Speaker 5: the playoff game start, cause if it's not that's like
- 52:34Speaker 5: if you call a play on fourth and goal on
- 52:37Speaker 5: the five yard line, if you're a coordinator, Once you
- 52:39Speaker 5: call the play and it's in and the play starts,
- 52:42Speaker 5: there's nothing you can change. So it's ludicrous for a
- 52:46Speaker 5: fan to get to watch the play to see if
- 52:48Speaker 5: it works out before they decide if it was a
- 52:50Speaker 5: good call or not. And I think selecting the playoff
- 52:52Speaker 5: field is the same thing. You think what you want
- 52:55Speaker 5: about the committee. Put yourself on the committee. Make yourself
- 52:58Speaker 5: the committee. How are you choosing the play off field?
- 53:00Speaker 5: You're not choosing it based on how you think the
- 53:02Speaker 5: playoffs should go, or that's not how you should be choosing.
- 53:05Speaker 5: You're choosing it on comparable body of work or comparative
- 53:08Speaker 5: body of work, and you're trying to get the proper
- 53:10Speaker 5: twelve teams in. I don't say the best twelve because
- 53:13Speaker 5: that's not how we currently decide the playoff, or else
- 53:15Speaker 5: two G five teams wouldn't be in. So I think
- 53:18Speaker 5: Miami should be in no matter what they do. They
- 53:20Speaker 5: could win or lose by thirty. Same thing with Bama.
- 53:22Speaker 5: But I don't think, or let me rephrase, I don't
- 53:26Speaker 5: like that the structure allows two G five teams to
- 53:29Speaker 5: get in. But even if they lose by fifty or
- 53:32Speaker 5: pull an upset out right, I would still feel the
- 53:34Speaker 5: same way. So I don't care about the results as
- 53:36Speaker 5: it relates to who should or shouldn't have made it.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's more of the chaos that gets to ensue
- 53:40Speaker 3: on Twitter, which is what I'm excited about.
- 53:41Speaker 5: If you want to see chaos, let that two lane
- 53:44Speaker 5: Ole miss game be close in the fourth quarter. That's
- 53:46Speaker 5: when the chaos would ensue. You. You would see more
- 53:48Speaker 5: bad faith arguments than you've ever seen in your life.
- 53:51Speaker 5: You would see more people pulling old takes up of you.
- 53:54Speaker 5: You me talking about the G five, and they would say,
- 53:56Speaker 5: what now, that's why I'm already fuck you.
- 53:59Speaker 1: That's what's Yes, you just gotta have any drafts, You
- 54:01Speaker 1: just gotta have it ready to go.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Yeah, winter up this episode to bring you form Energy. Form.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Energy delivers best in class tastes with natural flavors and
- 54:08Speaker 1: zero sugar. Form Energy has natural caffeine derived from green tea.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Form comes in a variety of flavors. They have Screaming Freedom,
- 54:15Speaker 1: rocket pop inspired grapes, smashed blue Blitz, orange Fury. It's
- 54:18Speaker 1: perfect for those who put in the work. Form Energy.
- 54:21Speaker 1: We do the work. It'd be bad just send it
- 54:25Speaker 1: out there. Does too Lane have a shot against ole Miss?
- 54:27Speaker 3: S says sure, sure, spread on that game is a
- 54:31Speaker 3: ole Miss favored by seventeen and a half, not a
- 54:33Speaker 3: big shot over under fifty six and a half.
- 54:38Speaker 5: This game happened already blowout earlier in the year, what
- 54:42Speaker 5: was it, forty five to ten? It already happened in
- 54:45Speaker 5: Oxford that was a Lane kiff and led ole Miss
- 54:47Speaker 5: tea all right, So when I break these games, it
- 54:51Speaker 5: doesn't make much sense for us to just like make
- 54:54Speaker 5: the case for who's going to win the game. Ole
- 54:56Speaker 5: Miss is a huge favorite. The way I like to
- 54:58Speaker 5: look at these games, is there a shot the upset
- 55:00Speaker 5: could happen. I think there's a small shot here. I
- 55:02Speaker 5: don't think JMU has any shot. I think Tu Lane's
- 55:04Speaker 5: got a small shot. They got better athletes than JMU does,
- 55:08Speaker 5: so at least you know you got the regionality aspect,
- 55:10Speaker 5: you got coaching churn at ole Miss. When this game
- 55:14Speaker 5: happened earlier in the year, ole Miss got up quick
- 55:17Speaker 5: twenty three to three at the half and two Lane
- 55:19Speaker 5: had to throw their game script in the garbage and
- 55:21Speaker 5: they just had to try and throw to keep up.
- 55:23Speaker 5: So if they could have something better than four of
- 55:25Speaker 5: eighteen on third and fourth downs, if they're able to
- 55:28Speaker 5: force a turnover, Trinidad Chamdlis has not had a multi
- 55:31Speaker 5: in game this year. If that were to happen, I
- 55:35Speaker 5: don't know, like turnover special team stuff. If you were
- 55:38Speaker 5: to be able to pop them early and make it
- 55:40Speaker 5: a four quarter game, yeah, I guess anything could happen
- 55:44Speaker 5: outside of that, though, No, I think Ole Miss is
- 55:46Speaker 5: favorite favorite big for a reason. I'm taking them to
- 55:48Speaker 5: win and cover. Actually because this is if you think
- 55:50Speaker 5: about the point spread here. Sometimes in college football in
- 55:53Speaker 5: the season, when you have these big points spreads, it
- 55:56Speaker 5: means you don't have the favorites full attention. Sometimes it's
- 55:59Speaker 5: a letdown spot, sometimes it's a look ahead spot. This
- 56:01Speaker 5: is one of the only spots in college football where
- 56:03Speaker 5: you have these big spreads, but you also know the
- 56:06Speaker 5: favorite has one hundred percent of their attention on the opposition,
- 56:10Speaker 5: so you get the full weight of that team, whatever
- 56:13Speaker 5: it is, whether it's Oregon or whether it's Old Miss,
- 56:15Speaker 5: and that means they don't stop, they don't let up.
- 56:17Speaker 5: What they try and do is get out of the
- 56:18Speaker 5: gate extremely fast and be up thirty five to ten
- 56:22Speaker 5: so that they can coast in the second half. That's
- 56:24Speaker 5: what their goal would be. I'm going to take them
- 56:26Speaker 5: to win a cover because I think all the motivations there,
- 56:28Speaker 5: and you got a coaching staff trying to prove themselves,
- 56:31Speaker 5: like people are asking, oh, what are they going to
- 56:32Speaker 5: be without Lane Kiffin. They didn't name an interim at
- 56:35Speaker 5: Old Miss. This is Pete Golding's team like he's he
- 56:38Speaker 5: is getting his staff in place. They're trying to prove
- 56:41Speaker 5: that they're of the caliber that you need to be
- 56:43Speaker 5: to be an sec staff.
- 56:44Speaker 2: And it seems like the roster's behind it too. That's
- 56:46Speaker 2: what I'm excited about.
- 56:47Speaker 5: Yeah, so I like him to win and cover.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm taking Old Miss like I've been.
- 56:51Speaker 3: I've been having this stance against the G five. This
- 56:53Speaker 3: is like a it's a predator. It's a predator, just
- 56:58Speaker 3: throw out the bait type of situation. I'm looking at
- 57:00Speaker 3: these the power forward games we have with Oregon and
- 57:03Speaker 3: James Madison and also Ole Miss and Tulane like I'm
- 57:06Speaker 3: taking Old Miss.
- 57:06Speaker 2: They're at home. They've already beat him before Golding, right, Yeah, Golding.
- 57:12Speaker 3: Him seeing him having this team and going out to
- 57:14Speaker 3: prove something with Lane gone and all the little things
- 57:17Speaker 3: that you see from the players, uh sitting on the
- 57:19Speaker 3: outside of it. After all this Lane kif itself unfolded
- 57:21Speaker 3: and seeing the excitement they have to rally around the staff.
- 57:24Speaker 2: I'm fired up to see Ole Miss.
- 57:25Speaker 3: I think they could make some noise depending on how
- 57:27Speaker 3: how big they win in this game. But I think
- 57:29Speaker 3: you could sit there and look at Old Miss facing
- 57:30Speaker 3: Georgia in a rematch, and I'm hoping to come out
- 57:33Speaker 3: of watching this game against Ulane is like excitement on me. Yeah,
- 57:37Speaker 3: what is gonna happen when they play Georgia again? Because
- 57:39Speaker 3: right now it's like, Okay, whoever wins this game Ole
- 57:41Speaker 3: Miss is gonna be Tulane. You're just assuming that George
- 57:44Speaker 3: is gonna win that game out right, Uh, but if
- 57:46Speaker 3: they come out with some fireworks, I would be I'll
- 57:49Speaker 3: be I'll be fired up for for that game against Georgia.
- 57:51Speaker 1: It was one of the most That game was one
- 57:52Speaker 1: of the most fun games to watch all season. Was
- 57:54Speaker 1: that Old Miss Georgia.
- 57:55Speaker 5: Ole Miss up two possessions in Athens and still lost,
- 57:58Speaker 5: still lost in the fourth quarter.
- 58:00Speaker 1: I don't have a say about this game. Ole Miss
- 58:05Speaker 1: win and cover ye, Oregon win and cover two for
- 58:08Speaker 1: here two for this is two for one.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Spech Wow you.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Lanner James Madison wins this game. Somehow, I will donate
- 58:16Speaker 1: money to their nil fund.
- 58:17Speaker 5: How much I don't know, name a number, A million dollars?
- 58:21Speaker 3: No, sure, you'll donate one hundred thousand dollars fifty cut
- 58:25Speaker 3: and half call fifty.
- 58:26Speaker 2: I'm just saying whatever it is and be like, hey.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I'll donate fifty thousand dollars to either to
- 58:31Speaker 1: laner James Madison if they can be either, they team
- 58:33Speaker 1: straight up, and I will go and I'll dress up
- 58:36Speaker 1: in the entire mascot outfit and sit in their diag
- 58:39Speaker 1: and I will apologize to every student that walks by
- 58:41Speaker 1: me for the greater part of a day. Will you
- 58:43Speaker 1: shave your head to sure, I'll shave my head.
- 58:45Speaker 2: What else?
- 58:46Speaker 5: I don't know what you're promising.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You get a nose piercing like.
- 58:49Speaker 2: What do you? What do we? What are the things? Oh?
- 58:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 58:53Speaker 3: I'm just I'm just miss some of the thoughts.
- 58:59Speaker 1: I've still this G five thing for a minute. Now
- 59:02Speaker 1: it's like, okay, now is judgment Day. I feel more
- 59:04Speaker 1: confident than ever that these seems will not win. So
- 59:07Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, you can put anything you want up there.
- 59:08Speaker 1: It's it's that's what's gonna happen.
- 59:10Speaker 5: So I got both those, So you're gonna addresses these mascots.
- 59:13Speaker 5: One of them is just a wave yeah. The other
- 59:15Speaker 5: one's a duke. Yeah, I don't know what what The
- 59:19Speaker 5: other one is I guess you could throw on the
- 59:21Speaker 5: little Green Wave outfit, but fifty K and then if
- 59:24Speaker 5: they both win, you're stroking one hundred thousand dollars combined.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Check. Oh yeah, yeah, that's good point. Yeah, somewhere all's
- 59:34Speaker 2: doing that.
- 59:34Speaker 3: By the way, and he donating one hundred thousand and
- 59:35Speaker 3: two Lane, which is.
- 59:39Speaker 1: You don't like that, bro, I just he said, My
- 59:42Speaker 1: wife and I we already talked about it.
- 59:45Speaker 3: He he's like leaving anywhere.
- 59:48Speaker 5: The Lane don school in his way out, you know,
- 59:51Speaker 5: Lane is so he operates on his own.
- 59:54Speaker 3: No coach sitting there like, yeah, I kind of feel
- 59:56Speaker 3: bad that I'm leaving him.
- 59:57Speaker 2: That's the type of team that's going to ole miss
- 59:59Speaker 2: this weekend.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Yeah broken, They're they're going to be so jacked up
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: for the first three minutes of that game and then
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: it's going to be over. And I'll said there and
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: me like, yeah, I told you guys didn't deserve to
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: be here.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: You did deserve it.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: But your problem is with the system, not with the teams.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: My problem is no, yes, yes, my problem is with
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the system. Like if a G five team, like we
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: talked about twelve to zero blowing teams out, Yeah, throw
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: their asses in there. That'd be awesome to see. These
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: guys don't deserve to be in sad onward.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: You know, you know when in Jurassic Park the water
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: starts to ripple yep, and that's when the t Rex
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: is approaching. But you know, if you fast forward, we
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: spoke about this earlier this week. When you fast forward
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: a little bit, there's another scene in Jurassic Park where
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: all of a sudden you look up through the Ford
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: Explorer sun roof and it's raining and it's dark, but
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: all of a sudden, that t Rex's head first rises
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: up above the canopy of trees and it throws that
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: little go in the back of its mouth and he
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: just crunches down. That brings us to the JMU Oregon preview.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: I think this is gonna be bad. I think it's
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: gonna be really bad. I hope so like paint the
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: walls with their blood splattering Sarah McLaughlin's special Scorched Earth,
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: Dan Lanning is using you as a tune up for
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Texas Tech Bad. So I think I'm gonna take Oregon
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: to win and.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Cover I'm with you just another movie analogies is like
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: when in Gladiator or they just throw unarmed prisoners out
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: in the coliseum where the outcome is already decided before
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: the gates even open. This is just for entertainment more
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: than it is about competition.
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: And you're standing there on the field in Autsin and
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: that crowd is chanting kill, kill, kill.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Dan Lanning says there and goes and they kill, and
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: they kill, and then they got and then we all
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: just sweet. Are we happy with all that? Are we
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: happy with what we just saw? Do we feel good?
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Yeah? And this close to Christmas too? Yeah, it's unfair.
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Oh and then your coach leaves.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because that was pretty brough. You guys played terrible.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I'm out of here, none.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Of you coming with me.
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: Good luck to you guys.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: So this will be an ass beating that we just
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: we feel uncomfortable watching.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Yeah, turn off at half times.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: Yeah, it makes you move around in your seat a
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: little bit.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe I went a little too far with this one,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: is what you start to think.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: So we feel good. So you're also on organ that
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: win and cover? Oh?
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: Absolutely all right, which gets us one step closer to
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: Oregon Indiana rematch. We would just be one round away
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: from Oregon Indiana rematch, at which point there's no way
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: Landing can afford to watch that show. There's no way
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: that he can afford to watch you reveal the text
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: that I know you'll get that week.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Who's to say he hasn't got it already. He's not
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: me saying I haven't been talking to Big Netty this
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: whole time.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: Yeah, you may not be the only one's been talking
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: to him, knowing him like I think I do, dirty
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: guy dirty. My dad spots dirty players, I spot dirty coaches.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're already calling you're You're already saying it
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: doesn't matter who get a Who's saying it doesn't matter
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: who gets to the next round? Texas Tech's going to
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: be out. One of the SEC teams was saying, Oklahoma
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: and Alabama.
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: Do you think that Oklahoma or Alabama would have a
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: better shot against Indiana? Which is just a mind boggling sentence,
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: But which one do you think would have a better shot?
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: I got a theory on that.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: I would say Oklahoma Oklahoma.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: I think Alabama would have a better shot because Oklahoma
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: is so offensively limited. If Alabama is playing Indiana, it's
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: because Alabama's offense was good enough to go in to
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: Norman and win, which means obviously the offense sort of
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: bottomed out and bounced back a little bit. And if
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: you then you get them on a neutral field, you
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: give them nine more days to heal up. Maybe you
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: get an lt Overton back in conjunction with these offensive players.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: I just think Alabama's offense at its best is way
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: more dynamic and can test your corners. Also a little
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: bit that's being glossed over. We're not breaking down Indiana,
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: but they lost one of their best defensive players for
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: the year in the big tension, and you know that
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: that's not really being talked about a lot.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Yeah, five of those guys that was just a freak acts. Yeah,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: just celebrating with the then got the shirt on.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: And they like, get the cart. What happened?
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: He just jumped in the air and high five to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: the kid and then buckled.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's brutal man.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: I'm more thinking of like a grittier game, Like let's
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: say John myttears healthier, and that does make a difference
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: because we all again got to see him before he
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: had that injury. Then I just look at more of
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: like the two other phases of the game, being defensive
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: special teams, and I think if you're going to compete
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: against obviously Indiana's gonna not have their best defensive player.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: But the way you kind of watch that Ohio State
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: of Indiana game unfold, if I'm picturing that for the
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: game again, it's whoever be Alabama or Oklahoma. I feel
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: like Oklahoma would just be better suited because they have defense
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: to match their defense, they have special teams where you
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: can play the field position game. And then again you're
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: just you're more hopeful that a healthier job materier like
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: just somebody's gonna make a playoffensively if it's not, you know,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: a defensive turnover and score.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: Playoffs are here.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Playoffs are here. Boys. Hey, thanks for tuning in.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: Great show, great show, big ug Shinney kisses. Don't forget
