- 1:17Speaker 2: Every Tuesday nine am, we catch up with a guy,
- 1:19Speaker 2: Nick Underhill, New Orleans, a dot football who joins us. Now, Nicholas,
- 1:23Speaker 2: how we're doing, how we living?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Sir?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Doing good? Doing good? How you doing?
- 1:27Speaker 3: Doing fantastic?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Obviously, I think we're all still excited about some of
- 1:31Speaker 2: the free agent moves that the New Orleans Saints have made,
- 1:34Speaker 2: excited about the upcoming draft in Pittsburgh coming up in
- 1:38Speaker 2: a couple.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Of weeks now.
- 1:40Speaker 2: But I gotta ask you, did you know that when
- 1:44Speaker 2: the Saints sun Travis etn that it was actually Travis Chan.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I had no idea. I mean, that's definitely the Pennsylvania
- 1:52Speaker 4: at me. I was blown away when I heard that.
- 1:55Speaker 4: It's like, there's no way that's it. I mean, look,
- 1:57Speaker 4: we put your people's names all the time. That's not
- 2:00Speaker 4: one that I would have like ask, hey, how do
- 2:03Speaker 4: you say this? Like it just seems it just seems straightforward.
- 2:07Speaker 4: I've been here for twelve years now, going on twelve years,
- 2:12Speaker 4: and that one, that one caught me off card. I
- 2:13Speaker 4: feel like I've acclimated pretty well, and uh, you know,
- 2:17Speaker 4: I guess I needed uh you know, I'm sure like
- 2:19Speaker 4: Bobby Avier, every's like, hey, you idiots like I had,
- 2:23Speaker 4: I had no idea. I had no idea.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Well at this point it's on him a little bit though. Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 3: like I'm going to back you up here. Uh, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 3: your name's your name?
- 2:31Speaker 2: And if Dabo Sweeney can't say you forced him to say,
- 2:34Speaker 2: like coach, it's not Etn.
- 2:35Speaker 3: That's not the way you say my last name. It's
- 2:37Speaker 3: a chan. I got a brother. He's pretty good at
- 2:39Speaker 3: football team.
- 2:40Speaker 2: His first year in the league either, right, he's been
- 2:42Speaker 2: a brother that we've called Trevor Etn.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, they both have microphones. That's not on you.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, like you get to a lot of
- 2:51Speaker 4: times you see people get to the league and they'll
- 2:53Speaker 4: change you know, you know that their name isn't what
- 2:55Speaker 4: you thought, like uh rel Reese, but just feels like
- 2:59Speaker 4: uh like Mike Stanton. You know, it just took him
- 3:01Speaker 4: like so many years. Then he comes out like you
- 3:03Speaker 4: gotta you gotta do it early, man, Like you can't
- 3:06Speaker 4: let us screw it up and just roll with it,
- 3:08Speaker 4: like you just got to tell us that we're idiots
- 3:09Speaker 4: and to fix it. Yeah, I was. I was surprised though.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that was so Now moving forward, are you when
- 3:16Speaker 2: you're talking about him as a new Saints player, are
- 3:19Speaker 2: you going Travis a Champ?
- 3:22Speaker 4: Yeah? Oh yeah, absolutely, Yeah. I mean you told me,
- 3:24Speaker 4: you told me your name is something different what I'm
- 3:26Speaker 4: calling you like, I'm not married to anything. I just
- 3:29Speaker 4: want to get it right.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I'm just gonna wear a rubber band and every time
- 3:32Speaker 2: I say eighteen, I'm gonna snap myself on the wrist,
- 3:35Speaker 2: just so I trained.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Myself to say it right. So we'll see how that goes.
- 3:41Speaker 4: For you.
- 3:41Speaker 3: A question for you, mel kiper overrated, underrated?
- 3:47Speaker 4: I think mel mel does a lot of work. He
- 3:51Speaker 4: put he puts a lot of effort in. You know,
- 3:54Speaker 4: it's it's it's tough like when you're your number one
- 3:57Speaker 4: quarterback and then like you're you're like defiantly like fighting
- 4:00Speaker 4: over it, and then you know, he goes into fifth
- 4:02Speaker 4: round and then he doesn't play that great when he
- 4:04Speaker 4: gets in the league. Like, you know, I think sometimes
- 4:07Speaker 4: like the biggest flot for people, I think in our
- 4:09Speaker 4: field and what we do is just like an inability
- 4:12Speaker 4: to say, like, hey, I'm an idiot and I'm updating
- 4:15Speaker 4: my take with new information and kind of rolling with it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: But like he even kept like fighting with that all
- 4:20Speaker 4: throughout the season, and I guess at that point, like
- 4:22Speaker 4: you got so much stock in it that that you know,
- 4:24Speaker 4: you just do it. But you know, I think Mel's
- 4:27Speaker 4: very good at what he does. But I think he
- 4:29Speaker 4: gets stubborn and gets married to some prior opinions, and
- 4:33Speaker 4: I just think that's a mistake. Like if I think,
- 4:35Speaker 4: you know, the Devon Beeley trade isn't good in September
- 4:38Speaker 4: and then he starts playing well in November, I'm not
- 4:40Speaker 4: gonna keep I'm gonna say, no, I was wrong, I
- 4:42Speaker 4: was an idiot, Like I gotta update my take. There's
- 4:44Speaker 4: no information, uh, you know, And it's I think sometimes
- 4:47Speaker 4: he gets a little caught up in that and it's
- 4:49Speaker 4: good for TV, but you know, it's just kind of
- 4:52Speaker 4: now like the next quarterback seeing like like I don't.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Know, I mean, I don't know what your problem is
- 4:57Speaker 5: with your or Nick, but it's a little ridiculous.
- 5:00Speaker 4: No problem when he's a fifth rounder. You can't keep
- 5:04Speaker 4: saying that he's that he's not, you know, like it's
- 5:06Speaker 4: just he kind of got to know and if I like,
- 5:08Speaker 4: if I'm hearing where where he's gonna go. No, Kiper
- 5:10Speaker 4: certainly has heard it before I've heard it. He's way
- 5:13Speaker 4: more plugged into that that than me. But it's just
- 5:15Speaker 4: kind of like, you know, they get to a place. Look,
- 5:17Speaker 4: I guess it's your opinion and not the league's opinion,
- 5:20Speaker 4: but you also got to understand like, hey, look this
- 5:23Speaker 4: is what I think, but this is where the leagu's going.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Like that.
- 5:25Speaker 4: That one just was tough for me. It was a
- 5:26Speaker 4: tough It was a tough U. It was a tough,
- 5:29Speaker 4: tough evaluation.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Yeah. So Melcaver had a new mock draft come out
- 5:33Speaker 5: this morning and at number eight with the New Orleans Saints,
- 5:36Speaker 5: Carnell Tait state wide receiver to the New Orleans Saints.
- 5:39Speaker 5: How do you feel about it? I know, if you've
- 5:41Speaker 5: talked about him on the show a little bit, but
- 5:42Speaker 5: that's the newest mock draft. How would you feel about
- 5:45Speaker 5: Carnel Ta?
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I like him. I like him. You know, I
- 5:50Speaker 4: think I think any any weapon at this point will
- 5:52Speaker 4: be a good will be a good pick, you know.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I I think I prefer maybe I like all them guys,
- 5:57Speaker 4: and if they took any of the three, like any
- 5:59Speaker 4: of the Big three, I'd be cool with it. I
- 6:00Speaker 4: got So it's kind of like you know, picking nits
- 6:02Speaker 4: with with people that are really good, and I think
- 6:05Speaker 4: they'd all be great additions to the team. I just
- 6:07Speaker 4: think that you can get a different skill set, and
- 6:10Speaker 4: there's a lot that goes into it, Like you got
- 6:11Speaker 4: to be comfortable with Jordan Tyson's injury stuff, like, and
- 6:14Speaker 4: that's a huge piece. You don't want to draft the
- 6:16Speaker 4: a A man, I just walked into this. You don't
- 6:20Speaker 4: want to draft like a you know, a proverbial Lemon.
- 6:23Speaker 4: But like I like McKayle Lemon, and you know, I
- 6:27Speaker 4: think he'd be a good fit for what they do.
- 6:29Speaker 4: So you want to be careful if you're going with Tyson,
- 6:31Speaker 4: just be sure, like have really good info on the
- 6:33Speaker 4: medical I like McKayle Lemon, because I think he kind
- 6:37Speaker 4: of fits. You know, if you're dividing the field out
- 6:39Speaker 4: into three quadrants, I think you have people that fit
- 6:42Speaker 4: into all three. Then if you take him and you
- 6:43Speaker 4: got like a really good underneath option little dump boss
- 6:46Speaker 4: over the middle of them, put crossers, quick slants, and
- 6:49Speaker 4: he can make someone miss and I can go And
- 6:51Speaker 4: I feel like, you know, Tate does a lot. I
- 6:54Speaker 4: just feel like that is a three. He's the most
- 6:56Speaker 4: similar to chrys Olave, and I feel like he could
- 6:59Speaker 4: in an ideal world if everything's clean and you feel
- 7:01Speaker 4: good about you know another. There's a lot of talk
- 7:03Speaker 4: about Kaye Limon's combat interviews. The feedback I've gotten is
- 7:07Speaker 4: that it wasn't an issue for the Saints. So I mean,
- 7:11Speaker 4: if you feel comfortable with that personality, you're good to go. Tyson,
- 7:14Speaker 4: you got to feel good about the injury stuff, you'd
- 7:17Speaker 4: be good to go. And I think Tate's really good.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I think he'd be a good fit. You can have
- 7:20Speaker 4: two of those guys. But if I'm if I like
- 7:23Speaker 4: all of them the same as the team and I
- 7:25Speaker 4: feel good about some of the other stuff, I think
- 7:27Speaker 4: maybe I go one of the other two first, but
- 7:30Speaker 4: Tate might be the right access of heal's ability off
- 7:35Speaker 4: field all that stuff, And if he is and he
- 7:37Speaker 4: ends up being your top guy, I'd be totally cool
- 7:40Speaker 4: with that.
- 7:40Speaker 2: My only worry with Carnell Tate is that he's never
- 7:43Speaker 2: been a number one receiver in college. Marvin Harrison Junior
- 7:47Speaker 2: was that guy two years ago. Jeremiah Smith and look,
- 7:49Speaker 2: those are really good player, so it's not even a
- 7:52Speaker 2: slight to him. But I would have a hard time
- 7:54Speaker 2: selecting a guy at number eight that has never been
- 7:57Speaker 2: the number one guy at his position on his college team.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I mean, and that's an amazing point, Like, yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 4: if you're if everybody's rotating to Jeremiah Smith and you're
- 8:06Speaker 4: just getting the advantageous look every single game, Like yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 4: I mean I think that's something you got to go
- 8:10Speaker 4: into it looking at too. You know what. It feels
- 8:13Speaker 4: like he can do everything. And I was at that
- 8:15Speaker 4: Penn Stake game when he went crazy, So maybe maybe
- 8:18Speaker 4: I got a little bit of you know, like judging
- 8:20Speaker 4: him too much off the highs or whatever, But you know,
- 8:23Speaker 4: I think I think he's good. But yeah, absolutely, like
- 8:25Speaker 4: can he be the guy? Can he carry team. I mean,
- 8:27Speaker 4: I think those are all things that you got to
- 8:28Speaker 4: you gotta have good answers for, and I think that's
- 8:30Speaker 4: that's probably at the very top of that list of
- 8:33Speaker 4: things when you're getting your staff together and you're discussing him, like, hey,
- 8:37Speaker 4: look like is he is he a beneficiary of everything
- 8:41Speaker 4: else that's going on here? We got all these guys
- 8:43Speaker 4: and and he's over here, and we might have the
- 8:45Speaker 4: best college wide receiver since Chase, Like what what, What's
- 8:49Speaker 4: what's the impact on him? So yeah, I mean I
- 8:51Speaker 4: think that's definitely something you gotta have an answer for
- 8:53Speaker 4: it too.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Hey, I want to go one more position, because I
- 8:59Speaker 2: know receiver was what got kind of excited about. And
- 9:02Speaker 2: then like you know, we do deep dies and you
- 9:04Speaker 2: and I were both in Indie, so you start to
- 9:05Speaker 2: hear the whispers of some guys medicals and where there
- 9:08Speaker 2: at an interview process like you mentioned there. So if
- 9:10Speaker 2: it's not a receiver, I love the Saints going monsur Delaine,
- 9:15Speaker 2: not just because he's an LSU guy.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I think he's a really good player. You lost Paulton
- 9:19Speaker 3: a debo two years.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Ago, you lose Alante Taylor this year, Kule McKinstry is
- 9:23Speaker 2: just not taking that step that you need him to
- 9:27Speaker 2: take to feel like you've got your guy for the future.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I think you need a corner on this team and
- 9:32Speaker 2: also like there's gonna be some teams because I think eight, nine, ten, eleven,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and twelve are going to want a corner, So you've
- 9:44Speaker 2: got some Like you're holding a really good spot as well,
- 9:47Speaker 2: because I think the Chiefs need to replace their corners.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Cincinnati needs all the defensive help. I think Miami and Dallas,
- 9:53Speaker 2: they all those teams could use corners. So you got
- 9:55Speaker 2: this like if you put it out there that you're
- 9:57Speaker 2: gonna select him too, Like, there's gonna be some teams
- 9:59Speaker 2: that want to, you know, maybe have a conversation with
- 10:02Speaker 2: you about that pick. So if you make the selection
- 10:06Speaker 2: at corner, I would feel really good about Monsieur delaying
- 10:09Speaker 2: at eight.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Are you predicting the Round one trade down for Mickey Bluhman, I.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Know, I know, Well, if it was anybody else, I'd
- 10:18Speaker 2: say it's almost guaranteed that's going to happen. The fact
- 10:20Speaker 2: that it is Mickey, I'm like caution tape around it.
- 10:24Speaker 2: But if he's ever going to do it, they are
- 10:27Speaker 2: in a prime spot for what's probably going to be
- 10:30Speaker 2: available to whatever literally like the next four teams behind
- 10:34Speaker 2: them need.
- 10:37Speaker 4: It's a great It's a great point too, because he's
- 10:39Speaker 4: one of those inflection points in the draft that if
- 10:42Speaker 4: you do need one, like you kind of got to
- 10:44Speaker 4: go get them. And now they I think what they've
- 10:46Speaker 4: done in their moves through throughout free agency is, yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 4: when you start restocking the deck, now all of a sudden,
- 10:52Speaker 4: I wasn't really looking at the lane before He's It's like, well,
- 10:55Speaker 4: there's just too many pressing these other places, and now
- 10:58Speaker 4: all of a sudden, like they sign these guys and
- 10:59Speaker 4: you start you like Blane like it makes sense, But
- 11:02Speaker 4: whytn't he goes too? He makes even more sense. So yeah,
- 11:05Speaker 4: you you definitely if you don't want him, you can
- 11:08Speaker 4: definitely create the appearance that you do. It's fascinating to
- 11:12Speaker 4: them though, too, because like I feel like it could
- 11:14Speaker 4: be a good pick. I feel good about the two
- 11:17Speaker 4: guys they got by, I could feel better like I'm
- 11:19Speaker 4: not necessarily convicted to having Quincy, Riley and Coolly be
- 11:24Speaker 4: my my one two punch, Like I could add a
- 11:26Speaker 4: guy that that makes him be better if it makes
- 11:27Speaker 4: my team better, go do it, I know in the spot, like,
- 11:30Speaker 4: I think their preference is to kind of have a
- 11:32Speaker 4: more of a of a safety play that position. Then
- 11:36Speaker 4: then have it be a pure corner just for for
- 11:38Speaker 4: the flexibility and the stuff Daily wants to do. But
- 11:40Speaker 4: I think they'd be open to to, you know, going
- 11:42Speaker 4: that direction if they needed to too. And I know
- 11:44Speaker 4: they think Quincy Riley can play inside if he needs to,
- 11:47Speaker 4: so it could be a way to strengthen up your
- 11:49Speaker 4: whole entire group. The trade back is kind of fascinating
- 11:54Speaker 4: because if he is like Delane could be that guy,
- 11:57Speaker 4: and then I don't think there's a lot of people
- 11:58Speaker 4: that that. People are going to be desperate the trade
- 12:00Speaker 4: back in for so if he is there and you
- 12:02Speaker 4: don't want him, and you know, kind of the top
- 12:05Speaker 4: of the draft is a little bit weak. So if
- 12:06Speaker 4: you feel like your franchise changers are gone, can you
- 12:10Speaker 4: drop back a little bit there like he did? Do
- 12:12Speaker 4: you do you trade back? Get another second? You take
- 12:15Speaker 4: mesidor and and now you've got two seconds to go
- 12:17Speaker 4: wide receiver, whatever, dart, whatever you want to do. I
- 12:21Speaker 4: think Guard's still on the table. It would be a
- 12:23Speaker 4: really nice way to stack the deck if if you're
- 12:27Speaker 4: sitting there and I don't know, like you don't need
- 12:29Speaker 4: Jeremiah Lovely anymore. You know, I think he's probably out
- 12:34Speaker 4: of play. Uh, you know, a change seems like the
- 12:37Speaker 4: guy there. It feels like Alvin's not going to be
- 12:39Speaker 4: on the team. Maybe maybe you could draft k Tron
- 12:42Speaker 4: Allen if you pick up another pick or something. It'd
- 12:45Speaker 4: be it'd be fascinating to see them do that.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Heyday.
- 12:48Speaker 5: How many calls have the Saints received about trading Derek Carr.
- 12:54Speaker 4: At the combine? It was zero And I have not
- 12:57Speaker 4: caught a whiff of anything on that. And that feels
- 13:00Speaker 4: like something where you know, it would just be something
- 13:05Speaker 4: where the wind would blow and you feel the winds
- 13:09Speaker 4: like it's something like you know, there's just certain things
- 13:10Speaker 4: that like if someone called for Derek Cardon was about
- 13:12Speaker 4: to happen, it feels like there'd be some some pulse
- 13:15Speaker 4: there that that I believe would would come my way.
- 13:19Speaker 4: To this point, no, and I don't see the spot,
- 13:21Speaker 4: like where where's he going? Like is it Pittsburgh or
- 13:24Speaker 4: Butch At this point, if Rogers doesn't come back, I
- 13:27Speaker 4: don't know where else he would go. Uh, I guess
- 13:29Speaker 4: to sell him stuff on the idea of the Raiders
- 13:32Speaker 4: if they wanted them. But like, is Derek Carson? I
- 13:35Speaker 4: feel bad saying this, but like, is he a guy
- 13:37Speaker 4: you want around?
- 13:38Speaker 1: Like?
- 13:38Speaker 4: Is he is he the is he the mentor for
- 13:41Speaker 4: for a guy taking his job? It feels like no,
- 13:43Speaker 4: it doesn't feel like that's something he'd want to do.
- 13:45Speaker 4: So it feels like all the chairs are gone unless
- 13:48Speaker 4: Rogers decides not to play.
- 13:51Speaker 3: It was. It was kind of a joke. Obviously, nobody's
- 13:53Speaker 3: going for Derek Carr. I think he thought they were, though.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I really think like when he put that out there,
- 13:58Speaker 2: he's like, oh, oh hey, hey David, watch this bro,
- 14:02Speaker 2: And then like nobody called and he's like, oh boy, man.
- 14:06Speaker 3: They're they're out there signing to a tongue of by
- 14:08Speaker 3: Low instead of me.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Do you have to say it like that?
- 14:12Speaker 6: Man?
- 14:12Speaker 4: That was basic.
- 14:14Speaker 2: IM just saying like, I think you just overvalue like
- 14:16Speaker 2: what the market was going to be.
- 14:18Speaker 3: There's not a market.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Hey, did did Cam Jordan take a shot at Tomorrow
- 14:22Speaker 5: Davis last couple of days saying something about well, I'm
- 14:26Speaker 5: not gonna go to a team with three wins or
- 14:27Speaker 5: something like that.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Did you see this?
- 14:31Speaker 4: Was that? Was that the toront Armstead interview?
- 14:34Speaker 1: Uh?
- 14:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it was.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Actually Cam talks truly fast, and he says a lot
- 14:39Speaker 4: of stuff man that I think. I think people just
- 14:42Speaker 4: don't like the way he says that, like stuff just
- 14:44Speaker 4: flies on the Kim can go like stand at the
- 14:47Speaker 4: podium and shoot up the club and you don't even
- 14:49Speaker 4: realize it until lady like did he say that? I mean, look,
- 14:53Speaker 4: I was starting to Mario with in New York too,
- 14:55Speaker 4: but he's got to do his right, Kirk for him
- 14:56Speaker 4: and his family, so I get it. But yeah, I
- 14:59Speaker 4: mean camp situation is fascinating, man. I think they're really
- 15:02Speaker 4: in a in a I mean it's not even a think.
- 15:05Speaker 4: It's obvious like they're in they're in a standoff right now.
- 15:07Speaker 4: And I think he sees his value at one place
- 15:10Speaker 4: and I think they see it about where it was
- 15:13Speaker 4: last year, and uh, I don't know, it seems like
- 15:16Speaker 4: if they want to wait it out, like they can
- 15:18Speaker 4: wait it out. I'm kind of surprised how hard lined
- 15:22Speaker 4: this has been. I kind of thought, yeah, I would
- 15:24Speaker 4: take a couple of days if they're kiss and a
- 15:25Speaker 4: half and Kam's that tarn like they'll just need it
- 15:27Speaker 4: eight or something like that, and it just it doesn't
- 15:30Speaker 4: seem like there's a lot of budget right now. And
- 15:33Speaker 4: I you know, I don't know, like there's two sides
- 15:35Speaker 4: of this franchise, legend all that stuff, Like probably he
- 15:37Speaker 4: probably deserves better is giving back money before. And they're
- 15:41Speaker 4: also a team that's you know, you kind of want
- 15:44Speaker 4: a team that that that's value and rides it. You know,
- 15:48Speaker 4: I would think there should probably be a little flex
- 15:50Speaker 4: for Cam. Him becoming a top ten NFL all time
- 15:53Speaker 4: stat guy in your jersey and finishing his career here
- 15:55Speaker 4: I think has value for everybody, and that's a moment.
- 16:00Speaker 4: It's probably you know, worth a couple million bucks to
- 16:02Speaker 4: have in your building and have a memory for your
- 16:03Speaker 4: fan base. But you know, I get it from both sides.
- 16:08Speaker 4: I'm just surprised that's playing out like that.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, catching up with our guy Nick Underhill, New Orleans
- 16:12Speaker 2: Dot Football here on OTB. All right, Nick, I'm gonna
- 16:16Speaker 2: play this scenario out for the rest of the all season,
- 16:18Speaker 2: and you tell me how you would feel if this happened. Okay,
- 16:21Speaker 2: So for receiver, you look at what you have and
- 16:24Speaker 2: there's still veteran players out there. You've still got a
- 16:26Speaker 2: little bit of money to spend, and you go sign
- 16:29Speaker 2: Christian Kirk and Keenan Allen. They could be a one
- 16:32Speaker 2: year deal for Keenan Allen as two year deal for
- 16:34Speaker 2: Christian Kirk. After you do that, at eight, you do
- 16:37Speaker 2: take Monsieur Delaine out of LSU, So there's your corner.
- 16:40Speaker 2: And then at forty two you select cash is Hell
- 16:43Speaker 2: out of a and M or Derek Moore out of Michigan.
- 16:45Speaker 2: If they did that, how would you feel about what
- 16:49Speaker 2: the Saints have done this offseason?
- 16:51Speaker 4: I feel like you kind of just solved the off
- 16:54Speaker 4: season right there. Thank you like it. It's not necessarily
- 16:57Speaker 4: the past that I would have laid out if you
- 16:58Speaker 4: told me to go in all the splanks, but I
- 17:01Speaker 4: like it.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I mean, you think, listen to me at owners meetings
- 17:04Speaker 3: coming up in a couple of weeks.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Uh, you're gonna be out there.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna be out there.
- 17:12Speaker 4: I'll see you out there. Yeah yeah, man. Like I
- 17:15Speaker 4: like I like the path though, I like to I
- 17:17Speaker 4: like the path. I like the way they're doing it.
- 17:20Speaker 4: I really want them to get the young wide receiver
- 17:23Speaker 4: somewhere in there. I just feel like there's a lot
- 17:25Speaker 4: of value in that. And you know, you could get
- 17:28Speaker 4: the the RC cool version of Joe Burrow and Jamar
- 17:31Speaker 4: Chase by taking Chris Bell. And you know, I you know,
- 17:34Speaker 4: it's it's it's a good soda, like it might not be.
- 17:37Speaker 2: You think, like Bill's like a top seventy player, you
- 17:40Speaker 2: think maybe even in the third round, like he would
- 17:41Speaker 2: be available, or do you think you got to take
- 17:43Speaker 2: him at forty two?
- 17:46Speaker 4: I think if you like the knee, if the knee
- 17:48Speaker 4: checks out, I think I think probably probably in the
- 17:51Speaker 4: second like it's there, if it's sketchy on the knee
- 17:53Speaker 4: and it's looking more like an in season thing, you know,
- 17:56Speaker 4: probably around three. I've also heard some you know, whispers
- 17:59Speaker 4: about you know, just maybe maybe you know the the
- 18:03Speaker 4: the personality a little bit, just like some of the
- 18:07Speaker 4: you know, I think there's just some some questions there,
- 18:09Speaker 4: and I think that's why he came. He came here
- 18:10Speaker 4: for a top thirty visit. So usually when you're bringing
- 18:13Speaker 4: a guy in it because you got some lingering questions
- 18:15Speaker 4: or you know, in the case of a quarterback or something,
- 18:17Speaker 4: you want to get some expensive time with him. But
- 18:19Speaker 4: you know, I think that they wanted to check out
- 18:21Speaker 4: the knee, talk to him. I know Tyler Shock loves
- 18:23Speaker 4: him man, so like you know, and there's obviously some
- 18:27Speaker 4: you know, just aggressiveness with how he plays, and I
- 18:29Speaker 4: think that's good. I think that's what this team needs.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I think this team needs some of that personality, you know.
- 18:34Speaker 4: And and I didn't get the sense that there were
- 18:37Speaker 4: there were minuses on him the knee. The knee will
- 18:40Speaker 4: be the big thing, that'll be the determining factor. But
- 18:42Speaker 4: if you like him, like before the nagery, like I think,
- 18:44Speaker 4: I think he was the top fifty player kind of
- 18:46Speaker 4: kind of universally, and then that kind of introduced some stuff.
- 18:48Speaker 4: And then coming out of the combine and there was
- 18:50Speaker 4: a couple like yeah, I don't know about like the
- 18:52Speaker 4: interview or whatever, but you know, I think I think
- 18:56Speaker 4: if he's healthy, I take him there and I'd love it.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Like kind of an a Brown type player, physicality, all
- 19:02Speaker 4: that stuff, and look Kellen more like for all the things,
- 19:05Speaker 4: like he knows how to handle those type of personalities,
- 19:08Speaker 4: Like all those guys in Philly, nobody was crying about
- 19:11Speaker 4: not eating there, Like he knows how to feed people.
- 19:13Speaker 4: You know, he he's young, recently played the game. I
- 19:16Speaker 4: think you understand if you have certain types of receivers,
- 19:19Speaker 4: they want to work, like they want you to give
- 19:22Speaker 4: them pasks to do what works, like you need to
- 19:24Speaker 4: get them involved more kind of does that. So I
- 19:27Speaker 4: think I think all this stuff will buying up. I
- 19:28Speaker 4: like them a lot, but I like your path man,
- 19:30Speaker 4: Like you get the bolster and corner is just starting
- 19:34Speaker 4: to feel better and better, and it's starting to feel
- 19:36Speaker 4: like maybe that's where you get the most bang for
- 19:37Speaker 4: your buck, Like yeah, I don't know, coming well, just
- 19:39Speaker 4: I mean.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It's so deep at Edge Rusher that I feel like
- 19:43Speaker 2: at forty two you're still going to get a really
- 19:44Speaker 2: good player. You're not going to get the same corner
- 19:47Speaker 2: at forty two that you will get at eight. Now
- 19:49Speaker 2: I'm not saying you get the same guy at Edge Rusher,
- 19:51Speaker 2: but if I get cash as Ou out of A
- 19:53Speaker 2: and M, who I think is a hell on wheels
- 19:55Speaker 2: off the edge, like you're feeling good about it, where
- 19:57Speaker 2: I just don't know nick to that corner at forty
- 19:59Speaker 2: two is going to have that same feeling. Because if
- 20:01Speaker 2: we're talking about corner at forty two, it's probably somebody
- 20:06Speaker 2: maybe you can get a D'Angelo Ponce.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Who I like a lot. He's got some some pisson
- 20:10Speaker 3: vinegar to him. He's five.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm with you on that, Like
- 20:17Speaker 4: you can get the dress for there. Look, I think
- 20:19Speaker 4: you could probably get one in the third. And you
- 20:21Speaker 4: feel good about just rotational too, like there's just a
- 20:23Speaker 4: lot of guys, man. So yeah, but it's a forty two.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I like it. I mean, I feel like you get
- 20:29Speaker 4: production there. You know, maybe maybe he's your third, but
- 20:32Speaker 4: you feel like really good about where he's at and
- 20:34Speaker 4: the arrows pointing up. So I'm with you, man, Let's
- 20:37Speaker 4: do a turn in the cart.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Hey, there we go. We did it. We figured it out.
- 20:41Speaker 3: NICKI the man.
- 20:42Speaker 2: We appreciate you every single Tuesday morning, so much so
- 20:45Speaker 2: that we'll talk.
- 20:46Speaker 3: To you next week.
- 20:47Speaker 2: All right, man, all right, Nick Underhill, New Orleans stuff football,
- 20:51Speaker 2: good enough to join us here. As we said, every
- 20:53Speaker 2: single week. Sometimes he remembers, sometimes he forgets, you know what.
- 20:57Speaker 2: He always answers the phone, which we can appreciate. I
- 21:02Speaker 2: do want to talk about that pick for Carnel Tait
- 21:04Speaker 2: though when we come back, so do have Like I
- 21:07Speaker 2: think it's a good player. But I would have concerns
- 21:10Speaker 2: selecting a receiver at eight that I've never seen be
- 21:15Speaker 2: the one yep, because it wasn't a two to one situation.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It was a one and a two. And I'll tell
- 21:24Speaker 2: you what I mean with a two to one situation
- 21:26Speaker 2: when we come back here.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Oh no, TV off the bench, all right.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Pelican Roofing does a lot more than just take care
- 21:33Speaker 2: of roofs here in Louisiana. They take care of the
- 21:35Speaker 2: community as well. So right now they've got something really
- 21:39Speaker 2: cool going on, and it.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Is called Run for Rufus.
- 21:42Speaker 2: It's a fundraiser where their mascot Rufus is running a
- 21:45Speaker 2: five k every day for thirty days to help raise
- 21:48Speaker 2: money for someone in our community going through a really
- 21:52Speaker 2: tough time. So all the not nations go directly to
- 21:55Speaker 2: help that family with medical bills and recovery call so
- 21:59Speaker 2: they can focus on, obviously what is most important, which
- 22:02Speaker 2: is getting better. So if you want to help out,
- 22:05Speaker 2: or if you want to learn more information and the
- 22:08Speaker 2: story behind it, all you have to do is go
- 22:10Speaker 2: to that website. It is Run for Rufous dot com. Now,
- 22:14Speaker 2: of course you can go to the website if you're
- 22:16Speaker 2: watching this on YouTube Pelican roof dot com as well,
- 22:19Speaker 2: and we already know what they are in the roofing game.
- 22:22Speaker 2: But they're more than just roofs. They are here, they're local,
- 22:25Speaker 2: They're in the local communities. So go to that website
- 22:28Speaker 2: run for rufous dot com.
- 22:45Speaker 3: By Smokey money smoking judge your head back.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Let's finished the cry ross can getting faced with Charlie
- 23:06Speaker 6: chim wait on my shipments.

- 23:12Speaker 1: This day.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Doublo puts the bill most definitely, well, I got a
- 23:17Speaker 3: castle probast smoke choking port on my face.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Come on you all this time and get nice.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Get kind of fucking me and the crew with Jnking breath, Monks, streaming.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Eye read.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Off the bench with take Up Hester and Matt Flynn
- 23:46Speaker 1: presented by community.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Still let the beginning. Hey Matthew, Hey Hugh, some call
- 23:55Speaker 3: you nobody? Uh I did, so that's somebody can nobody?
- 24:00Speaker 3: You said? Some people? Yeah, I've heard a logic call
- 24:04Speaker 3: of youth to you before.
- 24:06Speaker 6: Yeah, he was funny to me.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I like it.
- 24:08Speaker 3: I called another Matthew you and he didn't like it
- 24:11Speaker 3: as much. What I'm not gonna say, I like it
- 24:14Speaker 3: but I don't really care. You know, I'm not like
- 24:18Speaker 3: pretty much. My name is Sacred bro.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I pretty much saved your life for four years, well
- 24:22Speaker 2: one year, but I saved it multiple times.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Eight people were trying to hurt you, and I protected
- 24:29Speaker 3: you in college. Yeah, thank you, buddy. You're welcome. Uh.
- 24:36Speaker 3: If I was trying to feel like I was in
- 24:38Speaker 3: college again, where would I go? Uh?
- 24:40Speaker 2: That's easy. Yeah for juven me medical. Yes, thirteen locations
- 24:44Speaker 2: Louisiana and Louisiana. There's one in Mississippi. So if dig Dixon,
- 24:47Speaker 2: if you're listening and you want to feel youthful, you've
- 24:50Speaker 2: got multiple locations for you.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Bud, that's right, just like we have multiple locations. I'm
- 24:54Speaker 3: from Treeport. If you're driving from Tyler and you want
- 24:57Speaker 3: to stop in Treeport, you could are you you can
- 25:01Speaker 3: call ahead to schedule that blood work amployment if you do.
- 25:04Speaker 3: If you do a little call ahead schedule that blood work,
- 25:06Speaker 3: you get a little discount on that initial visit as well.
- 25:09Speaker 5: Or you can also just go to the one of
- 25:10Speaker 5: their fantastic linux walk in true asked talk to their
- 25:13Speaker 5: medical professionals about like what's happening, Like if you maybe
- 25:17Speaker 5: having low energy, maybe low drive in the bedroom, maybe
- 25:22Speaker 5: just not feeling like your younger self. They don't or
- 25:24Speaker 5: moon to place in therapy that's perfect for it. And
- 25:26Speaker 5: if you're gonna do it, why don't you go to
- 25:27Speaker 5: the Louisiana's leader for over ten years. Everything's medically supervised.
- 25:31Speaker 5: It's not like, well, let's get high test bro. No,
- 25:33Speaker 5: it's not about that. It's just about like normalizing your
- 25:36Speaker 5: body's function in the way it's supposed to be. Some
- 25:39Speaker 5: people start getting low test as around like in their twenties.
- 25:42Speaker 5: That's that's not normal. Let's like just get normalized. It's
- 25:44Speaker 5: not about being high. And then also on top of that, peptides,
- 25:47Speaker 5: which I'm doing right now feeling awesome yep with PID
- 25:50Speaker 5: the wolverine peptide, not a big deal.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Just healing instantly.
- 25:55Speaker 2: That which is like and it's like real siml things
- 25:58Speaker 2: things that your body already makes.
- 26:00Speaker 5: It's like not about like what you feel from taking it.
- 26:01Speaker 5: It's like what you stop stop noticing right the lakes,
- 26:04Speaker 5: pains here and there, cosmetics, white loss, all the good
- 26:07Speaker 5: stuff right there.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Jummedical dot Com. All right, let's go around the room.
- 26:11Speaker 3: The New Orleans Saints selected eight and forty two.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Now, look, I know our guy, Ross Jackson put out
- 26:16Speaker 2: a mock draft and he's got cardneal Tate going there.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I just don't like the pick because I see value
- 26:22Speaker 2: in other players and this receiver class, to me, does
- 26:26Speaker 2: not have the game changer that you're looking for.
- 26:30Speaker 3: And again, I think cardial Tate's a good player. I
- 26:33Speaker 3: think he's gonna play a long time in the NFL.
- 26:35Speaker 2: But if you're going to select that position at eight,
- 26:37Speaker 2: it's got to be a guy that is a no brainer,
- 26:41Speaker 2: right because this is there wasn't like a Jeremiah Smith
- 26:43Speaker 2: and cardneal Tate situation, or a Marvin Harrison junior carneal
- 26:47Speaker 2: Tate situation where it was Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase
- 26:51Speaker 2: that was two ones. This isn't two to one situation,
- 26:55Speaker 2: which is okay, doesn't matter mean you're a bad football player.
- 26:57Speaker 2: In fact, you're a good football player. I can't Sele
- 27:00Speaker 2: liked him at eight right now. I would rather sign
- 27:03Speaker 2: two veteran receivers you traded for vele a young player.
- 27:07Speaker 2: You've got Chris Olave who's still in the first contract,
- 27:10Speaker 2: so you've got some youth in the position. You are
- 27:14Speaker 2: not set at corner right now.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Like when you look at the New Orleans Saints and
- 27:18Speaker 3: where they're at, you got kool aid and get them.
- 27:22Speaker 2: At corner that ain't gonna play. You're going to go
- 27:26Speaker 2: get another game changer. And I think Monsieur Delaine is
- 27:29Speaker 2: that game changer. And again this has nothing to do
- 27:32Speaker 2: with him being an LSU Tiger, and it's everything to
- 27:35Speaker 2: do with him being the best corner in the draft.
- 27:37Speaker 2: And you're sitting there at eight. I don't think that
- 27:40Speaker 2: you can get the corner you're looking for at forty two.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I think you can get a good corner. I don't
- 27:45Speaker 2: think you can get a Pro Bowl, all pro type
- 27:48Speaker 2: corner like you can get at eight now, Ed Rusher,
- 27:51Speaker 2: I do think you can get the game changer. There's
- 27:53Speaker 2: gonna be so many guys that are available now you're
- 27:57Speaker 2: picking the seventies as well. If you went corner a
- 28:00Speaker 2: rusher receiver. I actually think if you do make those
- 28:03Speaker 2: signings of veteran guys, I like that. I think you've
- 28:06Speaker 2: done a great job. I just right now, there's not
- 28:09Speaker 2: a receiver at eight that I think changes the math
- 28:12Speaker 2: of your franchise and put you in a completely different position.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Like if you select the corner or even if you
- 28:19Speaker 2: wanted to go edge rusher, if somebody fell to you
- 28:22Speaker 2: at eight and you went edge rusher at eight, I
- 28:25Speaker 2: think that makes you a better football team than any
- 28:28Speaker 2: receiver in this draft.
- 28:30Speaker 7: It's one of those things that you desperately need a
- 28:32Speaker 7: number one. You don't have a number one, and there's
- 28:35Speaker 7: one obvious path to take it, and let's take one
- 28:37Speaker 7: at number eight, and I get it. Some people say,
- 28:40Speaker 7: you know, is that too high for a men sword delaying,
- 28:42Speaker 7: it's a huge need for you. Like, I think you
- 28:44Speaker 7: have to take him because it's either him or Jermad McCoy,
- 28:47Speaker 7: And McCoy is not going to make it out of
- 28:49Speaker 7: the first round either. You could actually trade back if
- 28:51Speaker 7: you wanted him, but you can't trade out of the
- 28:53Speaker 7: first round.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Missed all of last season, so do that.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Yeah, and he's coming off of an injury. I'd be
- 28:58Speaker 7: good with them. Like you said, either receiver, I mean
- 29:01Speaker 7: a corner, edge rusher receiver or flip it to go
- 29:04Speaker 7: corner receiver, edge rusher one, two, three, because there's a
- 29:07Speaker 7: lot of edge rushers in this class as well, Like
- 29:08Speaker 7: you could get a guy like Ramelo height in the
- 29:11Speaker 7: third round early if you're lucky like that. That's a
- 29:14Speaker 7: guy that played a lot of football this year and
- 29:16Speaker 7: had a lot of sacks. He's overshadowed by some of
- 29:19Speaker 7: his teammates, but a really good player, I mean, Chris
- 29:21Speaker 7: Bell will be there. Like Nick said, Chris Brazzle from
- 29:24Speaker 7: Tennessee actually had a really good year. Big body, ran
- 29:27Speaker 7: a good forty at the combine. There are a lot
- 29:29Speaker 7: of options for you in the second and third round.
- 29:32Speaker 3: To your point.
- 29:35Speaker 5: About wide receivers drafted number eight overall, did a little
- 29:38Speaker 5: quick search here of the wide receivers that have been
- 29:43Speaker 5: taken number eight overall in the NFL draft, and these
- 29:46Speaker 5: are kind of what your your comp would be if
- 29:48Speaker 5: you're looking to take some a Tedero McMillan went last
- 29:51Speaker 5: year number eight overall. Do you have a guy that
- 29:54Speaker 5: you believe can be that Drake London twenty twenty two
- 29:57Speaker 5: take an eight overall? Do you have a guy that
- 29:59Speaker 5: could be a comp with him? And then the next
- 30:02Speaker 5: one goes all the way back to David Boston back
- 30:03Speaker 5: in the day. Oh, I get yeah, overall, but you
- 30:07Speaker 5: have to you have to be real sure if you're
- 30:09Speaker 5: taking that guy. It's the same thing with Corner. To
- 30:12Speaker 5: your point, he like, if you're taking that guy eight overall, yeah, corner,
- 30:16Speaker 5: you're overdrafting at eight. And I've said that I don't
- 30:19Speaker 5: think they should take man Sore at eight. I love
- 30:21Speaker 5: man Sore and I would love for him to be
- 30:23Speaker 5: on the Saints. But trading back in the first round
- 30:27Speaker 5: is the answer to me. You trade, you're not going
- 30:29Speaker 5: to get Monster de Laye. You're not going to get him.
- 30:31Speaker 3: It's fine. The Chiefs, the Bengals I'm not paying for
- 30:34Speaker 3: are all going to select him.
- 30:37Speaker 2: That's fine. But I'm not overpaying for a corner, which
- 30:39Speaker 2: can hurt a team. You think eight's overpaying for a corner,
- 30:44Speaker 2: that's not rhetorical. Yeah you think so. You're thinking fifteen
- 30:47Speaker 2: double digits, double digits? Yeah, well if you if you
- 30:51Speaker 2: trade that, because there's value going to be there, because
- 30:53Speaker 2: an eight holds a lot of value for a trade partner,
- 30:58Speaker 2: especially in this draft.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I mean, would I be mad, No, I don't be mad.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I just I'm gonna stick my stick to my guns
- 31:09Speaker 2: on this situation where don't overpay a corner.
- 31:12Speaker 5: And there's two types of capital. There's actual capital, there's money,
- 31:16Speaker 5: and there's draft capital right overpaying like you could trade
- 31:19Speaker 5: you obviously that an eight is way more valuable to
- 31:22Speaker 5: a trade partner than a ten. So like that's why
- 31:24Speaker 5: I say, And if he gets to the double digit
- 31:26Speaker 5: round picks, yeah, take a corner, that's fine, But like
- 31:30Speaker 5: single digit corner, it's hard for me to wrap my
- 31:33Speaker 5: head around because I just have not seen that workout
- 31:37Speaker 5: very often.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I do think there's a gap between where montsour
- 31:41Speaker 2: Delaine is and the next closest cornerback in this draft.
- 31:45Speaker 3: So like you have to keep that in mind. If
- 31:48Speaker 3: you are the New Orleans Saints.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Now if Reuben Bain falls to you because people are like, oh,
- 31:52Speaker 2: he doesn't have thirty one inch arms, then you select
- 31:55Speaker 2: Ruben Bain. I think he's a game changer. He can
- 31:57Speaker 2: play across the board. I've seen him play a wide night,
- 32:00Speaker 2: I've seen him play a five, I've seen him play
- 32:01Speaker 2: a three.
- 32:02Speaker 3: He can do all of those things at a really
- 32:04Speaker 3: high level.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So like, if that situation happens, then yet you gotta
- 32:07Speaker 2: be smart and you can take the best player on
- 32:09Speaker 2: the board in a position of need.
- 32:11Speaker 3: So there's ways the.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Saints can play this, but no way for me is
- 32:15Speaker 2: selecting a receiver at eight the best way. I think
- 32:19Speaker 2: d Rusher I would be okay with corner. I do
- 32:21Speaker 2: not think this draft is a selected receiver at eight.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I would now like tedor Roe McMillan liked him better
- 32:28Speaker 2: than any receiver in this class, and he that's obvious choice.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, offensive rookie the year like it panned
- 32:34Speaker 2: out and they were real certain he was going to Yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 2: and if you watch his table at Arizona, he was incredible.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I mean he can test to catch everything he did.
- 32:40Speaker 5: If you're Mickey Limis, you have to say, is there
- 32:43Speaker 5: another tetor Roe McMillan, or is there another Drake London
- 32:45Speaker 5: in this Those are the comps at that specific pick
- 32:49Speaker 5: in the draft.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Don't screw it up. You're in a great spot.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Like, don't screw it up saying it's like eight right
- 32:56Speaker 2: now in this draft is a prime location spot because
- 32:59Speaker 2: I think a really good player is either going to
- 33:02Speaker 2: fall to you or you're going to have the opportunity
- 33:05Speaker 2: to get a desperate position of need.
- 33:07Speaker 3: With your pick.
- 33:09Speaker 5: My thing is, if they pick somebody, it's going to
- 33:12Speaker 5: split the opinion of your fan base. Right, if you
- 33:14Speaker 5: actually take somebody if you if you trade back, I
- 33:18Speaker 5: would think the majority of people are gonna like it.
- 33:23Speaker 2: They would like it regardless of who it is, because
- 33:26Speaker 2: they'd be so excited on thee Yeah, I don't care
- 33:29Speaker 2: who you draft. Just trade back and then you're gonna
- 33:31Speaker 2: win in the quarter of public opinion. Yeah, all right,
- 33:34Speaker 2: we're long for a break. We'll take that break now
- 33:36Speaker 2: more ot B when we come back your way here
- 33:38Speaker 2: live from the Raising King studio.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 33:41Speaker 2: All right, we are so fired up to have Emerson

- 35:51Speaker 3: It was a long time ago. That was even before
- 35:53Speaker 3: you and I were here on Earth.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I was, So they've been doing things the right way
- 35:57Speaker 2: for a long time, right, But the employee owned part
- 36:00Speaker 2: is kind of cool because they're looking to add members
- 36:02Speaker 2: to the team.
- 36:04Speaker 5: Yeah, And the reason why they're looking at members of
- 36:06Speaker 5: the teams because they're growing and they're absolutely rolling right now.

- 36:58Speaker 2: I know, we celebrated this weekend. Are we gonna do
- 37:01Speaker 2: anything Saint Patrick's Day related? Are we gonna, you know,

- 37:09Speaker 6: I don't think I'm gonna do anything exacond, I'm gonna
- 37:12Speaker 6: jam to this YouTube.
- 37:13Speaker 7: No fish Orbano is at least. They are no fish
- 37:17Speaker 7: and chips for anyone.
- 37:18Speaker 3: I love fish and chip to that those British, Yeah
- 37:22Speaker 3: it is Irish.
- 37:23Speaker 7: I always see them in like Irish pub. I don't
- 37:25Speaker 7: really even like the Irish.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I mean Northern Ireland is part of obviously the United Kingdom.
- 37:32Speaker 3: They have fishing. In fact, if you put Ireland in
- 37:35Speaker 3: the United Kingdom, they don't really like.
- 37:36Speaker 5: That very much, which I get when I went. I
- 37:38Speaker 5: went to Ireland and a lot of bust plays. I
- 37:40Speaker 5: got a lot of smoked salmon. Okay, they like that.
- 37:44Speaker 3: They have more natural the most places in America. Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 3: the salmon. Some nice food there created. Yes, fish and
- 37:53Speaker 3: chips is definitely not.
- 37:56Speaker 6: I thought it was British.
- 37:58Speaker 7: I've had them in Irish pubs. I guess it's both.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I mean Irish pub and it's got fish and chips.
- 38:05Speaker 3: So these Irish.
- 38:07Speaker 7: It was the Irish pub and Universal Studios. It's a
- 38:13Speaker 7: little bit of class here. Okay, what are we doing?
- 38:16Speaker 6: I just googled where did fish and chips originate? They
- 38:19Speaker 6: originated in England.
- 38:23Speaker 3: You got some bad news, go ahead, sorry, I what
- 38:27Speaker 3: was the.
- 38:29Speaker 6: Well? Okay, they were combined with Jewish fried fish techniques,
- 38:36Speaker 6: so they're actually Jewish. Okay, like Jewish immigrants from Portugal
- 38:41Speaker 6: and Spain brought fish and chips to London and Lancashire.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Hey, melting pot. Yeah Leicester.
- 38:52Speaker 6: No no, no, it says l A N C A
- 38:55Speaker 6: s H. I no, I don't know if I nailed
- 38:59Speaker 6: it it Lancashire, Lancashire.
- 39:06Speaker 7: I'm not British people are learning so much this segment.
- 39:10Speaker 2: You're about to learn something that I'm pretty upset about.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Christian Kirk just agreed to a one year deal with
- 39:15Speaker 2: the forty nine.
- 39:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I'll tell you that receiving duo. Now they can stay.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Healthy, doing pretty good. All right, Well, but we need
- 39:30Speaker 3: to too, and you can't afford Like Juwan Jennings is
- 39:35Speaker 3: gonna have to lower his price by the way. Yeah,
- 39:37Speaker 3: he's still out there.
- 39:38Speaker 2: And I appreciate you having self value, but the market
- 39:44Speaker 2: value was estimated to be twenty two point six per year. Dude,
- 39:48Speaker 2: you're you're a week in the free agency. Ain't getting
- 39:50Speaker 2: If you get that, it's gonna be like a literally
- 39:52Speaker 2: like a one year, heavy incentive based deal. So right now,
- 39:57Speaker 2: Juwan Jennings, Deebo, Samuel tyreek Hill, stephan On Diggs, Keenan Allen,
- 40:01Speaker 2: Hollywood Brown uh Sterling Shepherd Tim Patrick, who's forever back up.
- 40:06Speaker 3: But he's got a roll you know in the NFL.
- 40:08Speaker 7: If the price is low, I mean it's Jewan Jennings.
- 40:10Speaker 7: But to your point, like, what are you gonna get right?
- 40:12Speaker 3: You tried Brandon Cooks last year. That didn't work.
- 40:14Speaker 2: That's not the receiver you need. If you can do,
- 40:17Speaker 2: go get Keenan Allen and draft somebody in the third round.
- 40:21Speaker 3: I feel much better about it.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Yep.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Anyways, I promised still out there, I promise our listeners
- 40:28Speaker 2: we are going to get to ask the bench. It's

- 42:41Speaker 2: about the song, Oh.
- 42:44Speaker 3: I think I want one Guy's son. No, no, no,
- 42:46Speaker 3: that's Jacob Dylan of the Wallflowers. That one guy, that one.
- 42:54Speaker 6: Did you know he's still alive he's actually coming to Batterie. Yeah,
- 42:59Speaker 6: at the Center Theater.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 43:04Speaker 6: I can't remember the two first names.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Jeff George.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I love that.
- 43:11Speaker 3: I actually do love that. Hell yeah, Jeff George.
- 43:15Speaker 6: This is Jeff George.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's chritsiing, but it's now going to be Jeff
- 43:20Speaker 3: wicked game again. I won't remember it.
- 43:24Speaker 6: Butm like we were saying Isaac is spelled with a
- 43:26Speaker 6: K instead.
- 43:28Speaker 7: Of a C at the end, you would have been
- 43:30Speaker 7: right on Jacob Dylan would have been two first names.
- 43:34Speaker 3: So see, so I got it.
- 43:41Speaker 7: You're basically right.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I thought you were going I'm not going to I'm
- 43:45Speaker 3: trying Chris Isaac, Chris Isaac with a K. That's ridiculous.
- 43:50Speaker 6: Everybody complains in the chat how we don't do ask
- 43:52Speaker 6: the bench. Not one single asked the bench question in there,
- 43:55Speaker 6: not one single one. Here's actually I south it was one.
- 44:03Speaker 6: Would you rather be on home confinement for ten years
- 44:07Speaker 6: can't leave for any reason? Or be in state prison
- 44:09Speaker 6: for three years? I think state prison for three.
- 44:11Speaker 7: Years sounds better than ten, so I'm gonna go with three.
- 44:14Speaker 6: But also like state prison isn't what do you see
- 44:16Speaker 6: for any reason? I feel like people be vibing in
- 44:20Speaker 6: prison nowadays.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I don't take three years like you know,
- 44:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to. You're gonna survive, dodge a couple
- 44:27Speaker 2: of shanks here and there.
- 44:28Speaker 3: But I mean, so got an opportunity to join a
- 44:31Speaker 3: couple of friend groups.
- 44:32Speaker 7: Yeah, that's right. Yeah, work careful, be careful, you choose,
- 44:36Speaker 7: you know which brotherhood you choose. Yeah, don't shave your head,
- 44:39Speaker 7: that's right.
- 44:44Speaker 6: Got I love being at home. I'm a homebody. But
- 44:50Speaker 6: for ten years, I can't go anywhere.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Can I get like a like can it be a compound?
- 44:55Speaker 3: Go in the backyard and stuff?
- 44:57Speaker 2: Hashtag asked a bench how we taking in the World
- 45:01Speaker 2: Baseball Classic tonight?
- 45:03Speaker 3: Way I've been taking television.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I think they meant like you're getting food, like you
- 45:07Speaker 2: in a restaurant, you go to a bar. We're going
- 45:09Speaker 2: to be I know that we got base We have
- 45:11Speaker 2: a baseball practice today. So the beginning of it's on
- 45:13Speaker 2: the phone. The other half will be.

- 45:20Speaker 5: And then again I'm gonna say it again, absolute coward.
- 45:27Speaker 3: For not being available.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Hashtag asked the bench is anyone else happy the trader.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Aaron Nola lost last night for the Italian American team.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Hm hmmm. Actually would like to have him on the
- 45:37Speaker 3: American team m hm and bens of the team. That
- 45:41Speaker 3: was pretty electric stuff.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Hashtag asked the bench is there anything more untrustworthy than
- 45:48Speaker 2: someone with three first names for their full name?
- 45:51Speaker 6: Three first names? Have I ever come across somebody that's
- 45:56Speaker 6: three first names?
- 45:59Speaker 3: Jimmy Johns had like James, Yeah, but like I just
- 46:05Speaker 3: don't you see it? If you meet a John, Hey,
- 46:08Speaker 3: so man John, Paul James, you're like Tommy John. Yeah.
- 46:12Speaker 7: What's his middle name?
- 46:15Speaker 3: John? His last name probably.
- 46:20Speaker 6: Thomas, Jonathan, John Jeff.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Hashtag ass the bench. Can you see baseball still making
- 46:25Speaker 3: it to Omaha? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yes, we talked about
