And Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only You would bless me and enlarge my territory! May Your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted the request of Jabez. — 1 Chronicles 4:10Jabez prayed'keep me from evil', and that's a prayer every believer needs to pray daily. Jesus told His disciples to watch and pray lest they fall into temptation. We're not strong enough on our own — we need the Lord to keep us, to deliver us, and to preserve us blameless. The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials.
