- 0:04Speaker 2: We're here in the studios saying, oh my god, it's
- 0:06Speaker 2: already so hot in here.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Both of us are sweating.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I think I'm going through manopause, and Katie's well, I
- 0:14Speaker 2: can't talk about it.
- 0:16Speaker 4: No, you're right though, Like they say, it's way cooler
- 0:19Speaker 4: when we wake up today.
- 0:20Speaker 3: The forecasters are all like, oh, this morning, it's.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Not it's not too did you notice I noticed it
- 0:28Speaker 2: a little bit late.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Last night and into this morning.
- 0:30Speaker 2: There's a weird like smell now because I think we've
- 0:34Speaker 2: gone so long without rain and then we got a
- 0:36Speaker 2: little bit yesterday.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it released.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Something from the ground and the plants. It's just a
- 0:42Speaker 2: weird musty smell this morning. And I was feeling it
- 0:45Speaker 2: last night. I walked outside to put the trash and
- 0:47Speaker 2: I was like, eh.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it stinks.
- 0:49Speaker 4: I was gonna sleep with my window open, and the
- 0:52Speaker 4: same thing. I opened it and I was like, I
- 0:53Speaker 4: don't like that.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Musty. Yeah, really really musty.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And I would imagine your coworker are gonna smell extra
- 1:01Speaker 2: musty today.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Maybe we're from home.
- 1:06Speaker 2: The amount of times over the past thirty minutes or so,
- 1:10Speaker 2: the word flouters has been said in the studio is
- 1:15Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Floutus's because it's never been uttered before, and now it's
- 1:20Speaker 4: like the main.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Word floud TuS. Oh good last night and flouts.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I went over to my friend's house shout out to
- 1:29Speaker 4: Violet and we like to cook together. We're going to
- 1:32Speaker 4: create a cooking show called Cooking with Violet and I
- 1:34Speaker 4: get to be really sous chef.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it's fun.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Why is it just Violet? If you're in there, she's
- 1:38Speaker 3: a great cooking about Violet and Katie.
- 1:40Speaker 4: You know what, I get enough attention, we're going to
- 1:43Speaker 4: get clout us.
- 1:44Speaker 5: It's just flouter clout us.
- 1:46Speaker 4: But she has taught me how to make so many
- 1:48Speaker 4: wonderful things, homemade salsa. Last night again we prepared flouts,
- 1:52Speaker 4: which is a.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Lot like lauds. That's a keto. It's the family flucause.
- 1:59Speaker 4: It's funny her you know, husband like he also was
- 2:04Speaker 4: just like, yeah, I had never had floutos before.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Flout at him for me either.
- 2:07Speaker 4: He's like, I always knew it as a taketo, and
- 2:10Speaker 4: when I was like, that's how I knew these.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But the flow to looks a little thicker, Yes, a
- 2:14Speaker 2: little more substance to the.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Flout what it's homemade.
- 2:18Speaker 4: And you can tell because you know when you roll
- 2:20Speaker 4: into a gas station and get one of those you know,
- 2:23Speaker 4: chintzy on the inside, not really delivering a whole lot
- 2:26Speaker 4: of goods.
- 2:26Speaker 3: But not familiar with the gas station flout. The gas
- 2:29Speaker 3: station taketos, you've never had them?
- 2:31Speaker 2: No, you know, Katie, I respect my body. Come on,
- 2:36Speaker 2: I can tell you right now. I don't think I've
- 2:38Speaker 2: ever purchased anything out of a gas station that is
- 2:41Speaker 2: warm or on a roller or in an oven, never ever, ever,
- 2:47Speaker 2: even on a road trip.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Okay, let me ask you. I take that back.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Does the breakfast burrito at the BUCkies count Yeah?
- 2:56Speaker 6: Okay, No, that's like gourmet shut there.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's not like rolling into a Sinclair off.
- 3:04Speaker 4: You don't have to try and out bougie me when
- 3:06Speaker 4: it comes to gas station food, like flowers, tiqitos are fine.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Tiqitos are fine.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Just give them in the frozen section a Safeway.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Buy a bag.
- 3:15Speaker 4: But you've had you buy a Costco and you know
- 3:18Speaker 4: that when you buy them and they're pre prepared, they're
- 3:21Speaker 4: you know, the.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Fish is a little A picture of yours was that's
- 3:25Speaker 3: a thick flat's.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Because I could put as much stuff in there as
- 3:27Speaker 4: I wanted to maybe got back. There was no rules
- 3:31Speaker 4: the healthy No, absolutely not not only that, but like,
- 3:35Speaker 4: so you're making the filling, right, and it starts with
- 3:37Speaker 4: chicken breast. You're like, okay, we're starting off okay here,
- 3:40Speaker 4: but then the amount of cheese. You add two bricks
- 3:43Speaker 4: of cream cheese and an entire container of the shredded
- 3:46Speaker 4: parmesan cheese into this on top of the hall of
- 3:50Speaker 4: panos and the onions, and you've got the seasonings and
- 3:52Speaker 4: the chicken and you mix all that up and you
- 3:54Speaker 4: shred it, and then you put this in the corn
- 3:56Speaker 4: tortillas and rolled it. And then Violet was like, we
- 4:00Speaker 4: can either do it in the air fryer. She's like,
- 4:02Speaker 4: it works in the air fire, or we can fry
- 4:04Speaker 4: him in lard.
- 4:05Speaker 5: And I was like, oh.
- 4:06Speaker 2: That last one though, so god like straight crystals, straight lar.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I had no idea you can buy it in containers
- 4:15Speaker 4: like sticks of butter, so you just buy large apparently,
- 4:22Speaker 4: so yes, we made our flouds hard and it was
- 4:27Speaker 4: the most amazing.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That's like one of the worst things you can eat,
- 4:31Speaker 2: so good that product.
- 4:34Speaker 4: We're sitting there and then she's like, and not only
- 4:37Speaker 4: the flautas. She's like, we're gonna heat up some rice
- 4:39Speaker 4: and beans, really.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Have us a fiesta. She's like, you know what these
- 4:44Speaker 3: rice beans need is this scoop of.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Large and she made them with lard.
- 4:48Speaker 3: But then don't get on that.
- 4:50Speaker 5: We sat there and we ate our entire plate.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I had four flautas and then she made me to
- 4:56Speaker 4: go thing for my way home.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I had one in the car.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I had five, Katie, And then you're like, can I
- 5:01Speaker 2: get a cup of that large to go as well?
- 5:03Speaker 3: Is that what you were eating?
- 5:04Speaker 2: I saw you sitting out in the parking that this morning,
- 5:06Speaker 2: scooping something with your fingers and putting it in your mouth.
- 5:09Speaker 2: It was Lord, it wasn't it. I feel like this
- 5:13Speaker 2: is like wine tasting music. So let me tell you
- 5:16Speaker 2: about mixed one hundreds of wine time that's coming out.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Not too bad.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Huh.
- 5:20Speaker 2: It's gonna be at uh the iconic main Street at
- 5:24Speaker 2: Elitch Gardens August twenty eighth.
- 5:26Speaker 3: It's not going to be a sub taste thing.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It's Dever's most unique wine tasting event. We're gonna have
- 5:31Speaker 2: about fourteen different hand picked wine stations.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I actually picked a few of them myself.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Did you really eat?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a classic bad Yeah. Welch's is gonna.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Be one of the stations good twenty one up event,
- 5:45Speaker 2: of course. And if you want to buy tickets, there's
- 5:48Speaker 2: VIP tickets because you bougie baby, and some GA tickets
- 5:53Speaker 2: week spring for the VIP.
- 5:57Speaker 3: A high be a baller, a high roller. Anyway, we're
- 6:00Speaker 3: gonna have a live DJ of photo booth.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It's a relaxed summer evening sipping wine at elitches.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Sip sip chair chair.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Where can I find all the details and buy the tickets?
- 6:12Speaker 2: We'll settle down.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I'll tell you makes one hundred dot com. Of course, Katie,
- 6:17Speaker 3: you and I I'm not drinking right now, and I
- 6:18Speaker 3: know you're We're a couple of teetotalers. You don't drink either. Drink. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 3: we might actually have to sneak in a bottle of Welch's.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I think to fake it.
- 6:30Speaker 2: What's the is it the Martinelli's. It's the sparkling juice.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Yes, it's like when you're a kid, you think you're
- 6:36Speaker 4: drinking wine.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Right, it was good at Thanksgiving for the kids exactly well,
- 6:42Speaker 2: let's you and I get some Martinelli's and we'll we'll
- 6:45Speaker 2: just tear it up.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Okay, Well, I know.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Even Josh isn't drinking, so like we get like two
- 6:49Speaker 4: or three bottles, bring it out there and.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Tear it up. Boy, this evenge just got a whole
- 6:55Speaker 3: lot of lamer.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Anyway, buy those tickets and have some fun with us
- 7:00Speaker 2: at the end of August for wine.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Time but timbers, yeah, mixed one hundred. All right, it's
- 7:05Speaker 3: time fors some sports.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I got a stack of stuff here. Gen Z is
- 7:10Speaker 2: just like me, thank you very much. A new study
- 7:14Speaker 2: has found that eighty percent a percent why do they
- 7:17Speaker 2: say it like that? Eighty percent of gen zs attend
- 7:21Speaker 2: live sports events, not for the game itself, but just
- 7:25Speaker 2: to see celebrities and the concerts that are attached to him,
- 7:30Speaker 2: and just to see the brands that are there. What
- 7:33Speaker 2: kind of brands are popping. They don't even watch the game,
- 7:35Speaker 2: they don't even care.
- 7:36Speaker 5: And it's just like me, that's every Rockies game spectacle.
- 7:40Speaker 6: It's not so much of a sporting event.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Yeah, they're like me, I don't know, and it's all
- 7:44Speaker 3: like the food.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Also like trends, like they put a lot of pictures
- 7:48Speaker 4: of all the food in the stadium, social event people
- 7:50Speaker 4: go to get that in specific, So yeah, I like it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: New York Tequila Company has celebrated the end of the
- 7:58Speaker 2: FIFA World Cup by gathering dozens of people together to
- 8:01Speaker 2: play on the world's longest foosball table. You should see
- 8:07Speaker 2: the pictures and videos of this thing. Five hundred and
- 8:10Speaker 2: twenty five feet long. It is approximately the length of
- 8:15Speaker 2: one hundred and twelve standard foosball tables. So think about
- 8:19Speaker 2: the one that you see at the bar and line
- 8:22Speaker 2: up one hundred and twelve of them down the street.
- 8:24Speaker 2: What And that's how many people were playing the foosball.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That's the sport I can get on board with. Right there.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Oose Ball's the devil? Why is that game so frustrated? Really?
- 8:35Speaker 2: And for some reason, my wife wants to put one
- 8:37Speaker 2: in the basement. I'm like, nobody's gonna ever play that.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I know, especially don't buy that just like the kids
- 8:43Speaker 3: will love it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I'm like it'll get twisted around for about a month
- 8:46Speaker 2: and then it's just gonna sit there.
- 8:49Speaker 4: When I went out to the yard tales and stuff
- 8:51Speaker 4: this summer, there were.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So many because people buying them on a whim.
- 8:56Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like pool tables, ping pong tables, ball machines.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Nobody plays them. I got one final thing for you.
- 9:04Speaker 2: A couple of the players from Spain made it back
- 9:07Speaker 2: home from winning the World Cup, Fabian Ruez and some
- 9:12Speaker 2: gay guy named Javi, and they were celebrated in their hometown.
- 9:16Speaker 3: And here's what the hometown did for these two guys,
- 9:19Speaker 3: because they won the World Cup.
- 9:21Speaker 2: They celebrated by giving each of them their weight in tomatoes.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Oh so, Ruez got one hundred and eighty eight pounds
- 9:32Speaker 2: worth of tomatoes and Jav got one hundred and forty
- 9:35Speaker 2: three pounds of tomatoes in honor of.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Their hard work in the World Cup. Okay, so why
- 9:41Speaker 3: are you making a face like that?
- 9:42Speaker 5: I had no idea big fans of tomatoes in Spain.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I know you're gonna say waiting gold, Yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 4: silver tomatos waiting flow does I don't know, but too silly.
- 9:56Speaker 5: That's a little nun.
- 9:58Speaker 2: What do you do with all THEO do you instantly
- 9:59Speaker 2: go home and uh hurayum and canned spaghetti sauce?
- 10:03Speaker 3: I guess I freeze it last and eighty pounds throw
- 10:08Speaker 3: them at people. I would throw some at people.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I would get the neighbor kids outside throw them at them.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Of course, that's what you would do with your neighbor
- 10:16Speaker 4: prize tomatoes.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Take a few neighbor kids out. What else you got, Josh?
- 10:20Speaker 8: Well, the NFL season is finally upon us. Broncos are
- 10:23Speaker 8: opening up training camp next week, which is really exciting.
- 10:27Speaker 8: But one of my favorite things about the beginning of
- 10:29Speaker 8: the NFL season, like this, is the NFL team's social media.
- 10:32Speaker 8: They go crazy trying to interview players and get everybody
- 10:36Speaker 8: excited for the next season. The NFL Giants Football Giants
- 10:39Speaker 8: are no different. They wanted to interview all their new
- 10:42Speaker 8: team and see how well they know female products.
- 10:46Speaker 6: Okay, and the team failed miserably.
- 10:49Speaker 8: The men on this team do not know what women's
- 10:51Speaker 8: products look like at all. Everybody except for one person
- 10:54Speaker 8: who got one hundred percent of them correct. Braxton Burrios,
- 10:59Speaker 8: famously every single product that he saw correctly.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Okay, ready, eyelash curl pimp. I call him zipstickers. This
- 11:06Speaker 7: is for when you get a Patty Care to separate
- 11:08Speaker 7: your toad. This is to clean make up rushes. This
- 11:12Speaker 7: is setting spray. Is this for like a slick back gone,
- 11:15Speaker 7: is this for heatless curls?
- 11:16Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 11:19Speaker 8: Now what's funny about this and why he got it
- 11:21Speaker 8: correct is because he famously dated Alex Earl is the
- 11:28Speaker 8: social media influencer of the world right now. I mean
- 11:31Speaker 8: that girl is beautiful and she uses beauty products like
- 11:33Speaker 8: there's no tomorrow about this. That's how we knew it,
- 11:36Speaker 8: she responded, because everybody on her TikTok was like, you
- 11:40Speaker 8: trained that boy up correctly, and she said on her TikTok,
- 11:44Speaker 8: I see everything, and I am proud of myself for
- 11:47Speaker 8: teaching him correctly because the other guy knows this stuff.
- 11:50Speaker 4: That's really she's so pretty pretty.
- 11:52Speaker 3: And they're still on good terms since yeah they're.
- 11:54Speaker 6: They're broken up, but apparently they don't hate each other
- 11:56Speaker 6: anything like that. And he knows ball.
- 11:59Speaker 1: What's blowing up.
- 12:00Speaker 10: We've got receipts, We've got drummer, We've got Denver talking.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's the mile High hype where the jkj le icons
- 12:09Speaker 3: on Mix one hundred.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Just looking up at the TV that tropical storms sitting
- 12:13Speaker 2: in Louisiana.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Bertha, Bertha, Katy, we come up with the different bird.
- 12:18Speaker 4: It's really hard for me to keep a straight face
- 12:21Speaker 4: when I talk about something serious and then they're like.
- 12:27Speaker 3: The coast we get some extra waters and food. Birtha's
- 12:30Speaker 3: coming to town. I can't even That's not a scary name.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I think for a storm like freak havoc, like we
- 12:39Speaker 3: should just like not use.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Those names in certain instances. Betty's another one, Big Betty.
- 12:44Speaker 4: We don't need Betty, we don't need Bertha. You know,
- 12:47Speaker 4: maybe Barbara Barbara is a good one.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 4: I'm just saying, like these names are okay to use
- 12:55Speaker 4: the tropical storms because they don't make me laugh.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Birth Birtha's coming to knock out the power again?
- 13:04Speaker 3: What else is going on?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Tom Cruise may return for a Days of Thunder sequel
- 13:08Speaker 2: that was back in nineteen ninety.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Is that a smart move? I don't know, Are you cool?
- 13:15Speaker 3: Days of Thunder?
- 13:16Speaker 2: That seems that was that was pretty bad ass back
- 13:20Speaker 2: in the day, that movie.
- 13:21Speaker 3: But it's been so long now are we reaching?
- 13:24Speaker 5: Are we reaching a little bit with it?
- 13:25Speaker 3: I think we might be reaching?
- 13:27Speaker 6: Yeah, that one.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:28Speaker 11: Uh.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Tommy Lee, old school rocker from Motley Crue, Uh huh,
- 13:32Speaker 2: he's with that Britney Furlong.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Still, I believe?
- 13:35Speaker 5: Are they still together?
- 13:36Speaker 3: They're still together. Wow. I follow her on the Instagrams.
- 13:39Speaker 2: So anyway, he was on Dak Shepherd's podcast this week
- 13:43Speaker 2: and he was talking about when him uh in Nikky
- 13:47Speaker 2: six ran out I think it was cocaine and what.
- 13:50Speaker 3: They were doing. We pulled that up. I'll play it
- 13:53Speaker 3: for you here, here you go.
- 13:54Speaker 11: I was with my bass player and we were doing
- 13:56Speaker 11: hair when we ran out, and it's like we unscrewed
- 13:59Speaker 11: the cap on a fifth of Jack and then pulled
- 14:01Speaker 11: a couple of syringers and we're shooting Jack Daniels. I
- 14:05Speaker 11: was like, it was at that moment when I went, Okay,
- 14:09Speaker 11: we could just drink this, but we're shooting it. This
- 14:12Speaker 11: is wrong and somebody's gonna die.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Yeah, how is he still alive?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Those old school rockers, the stuff that they did and
- 14:20Speaker 2: shooting it into their veins.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Coming out and talking about it are just like fantastic.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Fantastic's a word, I guess. But I'm always.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I'm fascinated about the life of being, you know, a
- 14:33Speaker 2: rock star, and then you.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Hear stuff like that and you're like, I don't know,
- 14:37Speaker 3: I'm pretty puckered.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I could never I don't even like take an advillain.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Maybe having like a sip of wine.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, okay, I can't make kidneys are gonna
- 14:45Speaker 2: shut down.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Can't Max do that?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Oh Snoop Dogg biopic set to come out in August
- 14:52Speaker 2: of twenty twenty seven. Yeah, the biopic we all need
- 14:56Speaker 2: right now, That's what I'd watch.
- 14:57Speaker 3: That one's really good and they can give you one
- 15:00Speaker 3: final thing.
- 15:00Speaker 2: There's an Australian woman in the news who had a
- 15:04Speaker 2: pregnancy and she gave birth and this was a natural pregnancy.
- 15:08Speaker 2: There was no IVF anything like that. Okay, they just
- 15:11Speaker 2: smashed They did it old school.
- 15:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Then get this had four babies.
- 15:19Speaker 12: It's amazing, to be honest, for this to be spontaneously conceived,
- 15:23Speaker 12: for the conception to happen, so one fertilized egg that
- 15:25Speaker 12: then splits not once, not twice, but three times into
- 15:28Speaker 12: four different babies who then share a pla center. That
- 15:32Speaker 12: is just amazing. And to end up with four beautiful
- 15:34Speaker 12: babies and a beautiful family now of.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Ten, ten a family of ten.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Oh but just out of nowhere, spontaneous four babies.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Four And then I'm yeah, I don't think i'd be
- 15:47Speaker 3: happy about that. You'd have to fake it. So hard
- 15:51Speaker 3: with that.
- 15:52Speaker 5: We are so blessed happy.
- 15:55Speaker 3: This is the unexpected happiness. This is true blessing.
- 16:00Speaker 2: And then kill me now, kill me now, Gus, we're
- 16:04Speaker 2: buying a van. I'm buying a cargo van.
- 16:07Speaker 3: You're buying a couple of vans. You're so happy.
- 16:12Speaker 5: To make two trips everywhere.
- 16:15Speaker 3: You got, Katie.
- 16:16Speaker 5: Okay, Well, this.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Story broke yesterday and like you said, Jeremy, a little sad.
- 16:21Speaker 4: We had an incident here in Loane Tree where somebody
- 16:24Speaker 4: hit a bear in their vehicle and that bear passed away.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Is it the same one that's been running around because
- 16:29Speaker 2: I heard it might be that same one it's been
- 16:31Speaker 2: sleeping in backyards?
- 16:33Speaker 5: Yes, And I.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Know that a lot of people are wondering about it
- 16:35Speaker 4: because I heard reports that it was like a cub
- 16:38Speaker 4: and then other people said it was that bear that
- 16:40Speaker 4: that had been sighted around the Highlands Rancherry and whatnot.
- 16:44Speaker 4: But just very very shocking yesterday.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Why am I so sad about this? Like I'm overly
- 16:49Speaker 2: sad about it? Because the poor guy, yeah, Hymns, was
- 16:52Speaker 2: just hungry. He's just you know, and there's droughts.
- 16:56Speaker 3: He's just looking for food.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And then yeah, somebody hit him and I went down
- 16:59Speaker 2: into ane and then they tranquilized him and then he
- 17:02Speaker 2: died on the way to the vet.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, right, So, and they're not saying again if
- 17:06Speaker 4: any people were injured in the crash, and I guess
- 17:10Speaker 4: they're saying it's a few miles from where a black
- 17:13Speaker 4: bear was seen in a tree and centennial a couple,
- 17:16Speaker 4: so they're wondering if it is the same bear. But again,
- 17:19Speaker 4: there's nothing that has confirmed it here. They are saying, though,
- 17:22Speaker 4: because we're seeing a lot. We've talked about that quite
- 17:25Speaker 4: a few times on the show, how there is a
- 17:27Speaker 4: high influx of bears this year in our area. The
- 17:30Speaker 4: warm winter has a lot to do with these You
- 17:31Speaker 4: are coming, they're coming further and further into the city
- 17:34Speaker 4: to find food and shelter and everything. They so folks
- 17:38Speaker 4: in Douglas County, they're just reminding people. They're like, you know,
- 17:40Speaker 4: if you see a bear in a highly populated area
- 17:43Speaker 4: like that and you are in your car honking your
- 17:46Speaker 4: horn making a lot of noise, that can scare them
- 17:48Speaker 4: and make them want to get away from the situation.
- 17:50Speaker 3: So there are things that we can do to help
- 17:52Speaker 3: try and keep them safe. But get them in the
- 17:54Speaker 3: car and do that that. Everybody's honestly a little.
- 17:58Speaker 5: Sad about it.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Good to know that, like just honking the horn and
- 18:02Speaker 4: being able to scare them. Setting off carl alarms is
- 18:04Speaker 4: another thing that you could to try and to turn them.
- 18:07Speaker 5: Well, but again, you could save a bear's lives.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Totally worth. Nobody wants to hear your car. Crazy situation happening,
- 18:13Speaker 3: the one that was out there. I had no idea.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I was talking to my aunt and uncle and they
- 18:17Speaker 2: live over there, and they were like, we were watching
- 18:19Speaker 2: the TV one night and they're like, there's our house.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Yeah, this was the video of the bear running by
- 18:25Speaker 3: is like right in front of their house, Like, oh
- 18:27Speaker 3: my god. We had no idea.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Well, I know like in Highland's ranch there was the
- 18:30Speaker 4: bear all summer and they named him Nate and so
- 18:33Speaker 4: like a hungry bear a lot of people, I think again,
- 18:37Speaker 4: and no confirmation as to what bear it was. But yeah,
- 18:39Speaker 4: definitely a sad story coming out alone.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I'm really sad about this. I'm pretty sad about it too.
- 18:45Speaker 3: He was hungry. That's a hungry I don't think that's bears.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Es. I do have something happy that'll lift your spirits
- 18:56Speaker 4: a little because the One Up our k Bar is
- 18:58Speaker 4: opening a new location in Lakewood, and a lot of
- 19:02Speaker 4: people were bummed, remember because they closed that original location
- 19:05Speaker 4: last month on Blake Street in downtown Tenver.
- 19:08Speaker 3: That was open for fifteen years.
- 19:11Speaker 4: And so yeah, when they said that they were going
- 19:13Speaker 4: to shut up shop there, people got mad. So very
- 19:16Speaker 4: excited about the new Bellmar. This is the Belmore shop.
- 19:19Speaker 3: They're going to go into Belmo, so it's going to
- 19:20Speaker 3: be the new old Lucky Strike location. They're taking over
- 19:23Speaker 3: the Bowling Alley.
- 19:24Speaker 4: So that's where the new One Up Bar is going
- 19:26Speaker 4: to pop in there. Yes, and so now they're going
- 19:29Speaker 4: to have the location in Lakewood. They also have Greenwood Village,
- 19:32Speaker 4: Westminster and that one on Colefax as well.
- 19:34Speaker 3: So but if you want up locations, yay.
- 19:37Speaker 2: They had to shut that one downtown. I was reading
- 19:39Speaker 2: about it because just rents and everything were way too high,
- 19:42Speaker 2: and I think people were just not going downtown as
- 19:44Speaker 2: much either.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, there was no revenue coming out.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Very smart to put it make some bank at Bellmar.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Belmar's great.
- 19:49Speaker 6: I love that one.
- 19:51Speaker 4: And then just one little sports nugget for you, Broncos
- 19:55Speaker 4: backup QB Jared Stidham. He's going to be at Panda
- 19:58Speaker 4: Express in Inglewood today from eleven until.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Fall one off while he's there the year that.
- 20:07Speaker 4: He's there to promote their new hot Honey Chicken.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah so yeah, yeah, yeah, what do you where's my
- 20:14Speaker 3: steady up song? I still have you? Still have it?
- 20:27Speaker 6: Wake up?
- 20:34Speaker 4: You can ask him questions and stuff they have like
- 20:36Speaker 4: hot orange Chicken takes is what they're calling it, and
- 20:40Speaker 4: they're gonna fire questions and you know, player appearances.
- 20:44Speaker 5: They do this stuff all the day.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Like players have to do these appearances exactly, so you know,
- 20:49Speaker 4: he's just part of the you know, it's in Inglewood,
- 20:53Speaker 4: the Panda Express they're located.
- 20:55Speaker 3: And take a Hungry Bear there today.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Okay, there you go, Jary, Katy and Josh.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I just noticed the most guy thing ever coming out
- 21:07Speaker 2: of the men's room here at Dounvers Mixed one hundred.
- 21:11Speaker 3: This is how funny guys are. Instead of like a
- 21:16Speaker 3: glade plug.
- 21:17Speaker 2: In in there or maybe a bottle of just your
- 21:20Speaker 2: normal air freshener. Yeah, you walk into the men's room
- 21:24Speaker 2: here at the radio station and some dude brought in
- 21:28Speaker 2: a bottle of fabreze fabric refresher. So I don't know
- 21:37Speaker 2: who did that, but now it's it doesn't smell good
- 21:40Speaker 2: in there.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sure somebody from this.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I just noticed Mark Moser wandering in and went in
- 21:46Speaker 2: that direction our sports station next door anyway, So now
- 21:49Speaker 2: it smells like that and fabrize, so you're it's not good.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Well, that fabric refresher leaves like a film that's supposed
- 21:57Speaker 4: to cling to the fabric.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I noticed that owner in there. There's like a film
- 22:02Speaker 2: on the counter. It's such a guy thing to do.
- 22:04Speaker 2: You're using the wrong product, but you're.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Like, it smells good. It'll cover my turns.
- 22:08Speaker 5: And that's funny is if you go, which you won't.
- 22:11Speaker 4: But in the woman's bathroom it's the exact opposite because
- 22:13Speaker 4: there's like five different types of air freshener, candles, mood lighting.
- 22:18Speaker 9: Yeah, they're spraying motion. We got for breathe, like fabric refreshing, so.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Many ways to keep it fresh in there and moisturized. Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 4: so yeah, those are opposite ends. It's like it's like
- 22:29Speaker 4: this the Windex spray bottle too. You know that you
- 22:32Speaker 4: spray like on.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Clothes, so they're spraying that in the air there. Oh,
- 22:36Speaker 3: my god, guys are idiots anything.
- 22:41Speaker 2: This does go hand in hand with his story out
- 22:43Speaker 2: this morning. Have you seen these new toilet shoes that
- 22:45Speaker 2: are on the market. They are literally shoes that are
- 22:49Speaker 2: about how tall are these? They're like a seven to
- 22:53Speaker 2: eight inch uh, not even a heel, the whole base
- 22:58Speaker 2: of them. They're like old schools seventies disco shoes platforms.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah. So they're like.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Eight inches underneath each shoe that you're supposed to wear
- 23:07Speaker 2: while you're going to the bathroom because it improves your
- 23:11Speaker 2: posture as you go number two.
- 23:13Speaker 3: There's you know, you're not.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Supposed to hunch over yourself like a position, So these
- 23:19Speaker 2: shoes will help you.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Didn't they you're sitting on the toilet.
- 23:21Speaker 6: It's like the squad squatty potty.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you text in and talk about the squatty potty
- 23:26Speaker 4: and I invested in something like it.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Did you change your game?
- 23:30Speaker 3: Change? What did you invest in?
- 23:31Speaker 4: Well, like the same kind of thing, stool program to
- 23:35Speaker 4: elevate your feet like that, because the squatting position, it
- 23:39Speaker 4: strengthens your colon.
- 23:40Speaker 3: And your it makes come out of you.
- 23:42Speaker 5: It does.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's really good for you to have that
- 23:44Speaker 4: kind of stuff. They have the shoes, and I don't
- 23:47Speaker 4: know if I need to be that fashionable.
- 23:49Speaker 5: All that.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Like just learred way too much information about you.
- 23:55Speaker 5: To say like they don't need shoes.
- 23:58Speaker 3: The toilet shoes.
- 23:59Speaker 2: You can them online at take letloose dot com and
- 24:04Speaker 2: they're about seventy bucks.
- 24:06Speaker 3: What again?
- 24:08Speaker 4: Crazy to pay that money for something when you can
- 24:11Speaker 4: just make that happen.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Just find some old the Amazon boxes.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Find something that's fourteen to sixteen inches. There you go,
- 24:18Speaker 4: There you go, your set.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Some jokes there.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Gen Z gives us so much content for this here
- 24:24Speaker 2: goofy show so much stuff before we get to Katie's
- 24:27Speaker 2: funny Etsy story.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 24:29Speaker 2: There's a new survey out revealing wide, spad wide spread
- 24:34Speaker 2: fake productivity across the entire United States.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And guess who's leading the charge. Done to gen Zers.
- 24:45Speaker 2: About eighty percent of gen z or surveyed confessed that
- 24:49Speaker 2: they fake looking busy at work. Huh, well, we've been
- 24:54Speaker 2: doing that for years, exactly.
- 24:55Speaker 5: You're not the first.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Another thing gen Z thinks they're the first of you, yas. Shoot,
- 25:00Speaker 4: we were walking around with clipboards.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Look before you right, you just gotta walk really fast
- 25:05Speaker 2: in the hall with.
- 25:06Speaker 4: A clipboard and a pen behind your ear. Everyone thinks
- 25:09Speaker 4: here on a mission like getting stuff done.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Common tactics for the Zeers include moving your computer mouse around.
- 25:16Speaker 2: So I guess if they're tracking productivity, you got to
- 25:18Speaker 2: keep moving your house keeping decoy browser tabs open, and
- 25:23Speaker 2: deliberately delaying message responses because you're just so busy, so
- 25:28Speaker 2: tied down, I.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Can't get to you right now. So anyway, gen Zer
- 25:32Speaker 3: is leading the pack in faking productivity, faking that they're busy.
- 25:36Speaker 3: It's not surprising.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Yeah, and while they take their nap at work and
- 25:40Speaker 4: they go into their priy room exactly.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So Katie's also got this funny story about what they're
- 25:45Speaker 2: doing with weddings.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Changing up the game. Jeremy, I mean, Josh, look, get this.
- 25:49Speaker 4: So one they're talking about bridesmaids in general.
- 25:53Speaker 5: They're trying to do away with them. Groomsmen.
- 25:56Speaker 4: They're like, we don't need all these people who are
- 25:59Speaker 4: required to by.
- 26:00Speaker 3: All the clothes, so old school thinking.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Now all the parties are like, I don't need somebody
- 26:05Speaker 4: standing up there with me while I'm you know, saying
- 26:08Speaker 4: I love my husband more than anything else in the world.
- 26:10Speaker 5: Like we can do that.
- 26:11Speaker 3: So stressful the right people to be up there as well.
- 26:15Speaker 5: That's what they say.
- 26:16Speaker 4: You caused so many fights within your friend so they say,
- 26:19Speaker 4: like the gen Z or they took a little panel
- 26:22Speaker 4: here of five gen Z women and so it's like
- 26:25Speaker 4: all of their answers is what this article is about.
- 26:27Speaker 3: And one of them.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Said that that they created animosity within their friend group.
- 26:32Speaker 4: And she's like, it was like a MySpace thing where
- 26:34Speaker 4: you're trying to pick your top friends and everybody's mad
- 26:37Speaker 4: at each other.
- 26:37Speaker 2: And yeah, and my best man, I had two buddies
- 26:40Speaker 2: that I grew up with it we're just really close friends.
- 26:42Speaker 3: So I was like, I'm gonna have double best men. Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 3: He's like, I don't want to hurt any feelings.
- 26:47Speaker 2: But in typical dude fashion, one of the guys came
- 26:50Speaker 2: up to me a few days before He's like, I
- 26:52Speaker 2: don't want to do this.
- 26:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I was liked, all.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Right, one best man, It.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Is good for you for speaking of buddies.
- 26:59Speaker 4: And not just the bridesmaid and groomsmen. They're talking about
- 27:02Speaker 4: the whole feel of the wedding. So one of the
- 27:05Speaker 4: stories I thought was hilarious. They're saying, no Mason Jars,
- 27:09Speaker 4: no Converse and absolutely no barns. And how funny one
- 27:13Speaker 4: of my good friends got married in a barn. The
- 27:16Speaker 4: drinks were served in Mason jars, and she wore her
- 27:18Speaker 4: Converse tennis shoes.
- 27:19Speaker 3: So this is right now, Well it wasn't country, Yeah,
- 27:24Speaker 3: it was in twenty sixteen.
- 27:26Speaker 4: And they're saying that when you do that, you kind
- 27:28Speaker 4: of take your wedding and you put it in uh
- 27:31Speaker 4: you know, a timeline and people know exactly when you
- 27:34Speaker 4: got married. And one of the things with brides is
- 27:37Speaker 4: especially is you want to be timeless.
- 27:39Speaker 3: You want your wedding photos to last for years to come.
- 27:41Speaker 4: And when you do stuff like that, you don't you
- 27:44Speaker 4: shake yourself, yes, exactly. So they're doing away with all
- 27:47Speaker 4: of that. A lot of them are just eloping. A
- 27:50Speaker 4: lot of them are saying, we're gonna go get married
- 27:52Speaker 4: on our own in a courthouse and then have a
- 27:55Speaker 4: big reception afterwards. Yes, doing away with the entire wedding
- 28:00Speaker 4: all together. So the way that they're thinking with this
- 28:03Speaker 4: is one they don't want to go in debt because
- 28:05Speaker 4: of their wedding, which I think is smart.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I think that's a really smart.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Move to make because wedding so expensive.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Also they're saying, you know, it just it doesn't have
- 28:17Speaker 4: to be expensive, It just has to look expensive.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Uh.
- 28:20Speaker 4: So they have a lot of really good points when
- 28:22Speaker 4: it comes to their version of the New Wedding.
- 28:27Speaker 3: But god, it's making me.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Laugh so much. They're looking at Etsy weather.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Witches witch please.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Yes, they're literally looking.
- 28:37Speaker 3: At things on Etsy weather Witch.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Yes, and it is google it.
- 28:41Speaker 4: All of the stuff is going to come up for you,
- 28:44Speaker 4: and it is for I am.
- 28:47Speaker 5: My fat thumbs are making it a little hard right here.
- 28:51Speaker 4: I did and then it went away. So the the
- 28:54Speaker 4: Etsy weather Witch. So what you do is you pay
- 28:56Speaker 4: someone on Etsy to cast spells for your big day
- 29:00Speaker 4: so the weather cooperatly, so you can have like a
- 29:03Speaker 4: sunshine spell.
- 29:04Speaker 5: You can have like a beautiful rainbow, a rainbow spell.
- 29:09Speaker 4: They have all these things and they range from like
- 29:11Speaker 4: six dollars from a spell, although we up to like
- 29:14Speaker 4: forty dollars for a spell. But if you search, you
- 29:17Speaker 4: give forty people, well a beautiful day, beautiful day for
- 29:20Speaker 4: your wedding. Well, I think you're just One person said
- 29:24Speaker 4: that they paid forty dollars for an Etsy wish which
- 29:27Speaker 4: to grant them beautiful weather for their wedding. The night
- 29:30Speaker 4: before was one of the biggest storms that area had
- 29:33Speaker 4: ever seen.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Well she ran out of eye of exactly.
- 29:37Speaker 4: But the next day was the most beautiful, picturesque wedding
- 29:42Speaker 4: day that this person could imagine, and she gives it
- 29:47Speaker 4: the credit to her wet etsy witch.
- 29:49Speaker 2: She better yelp that wey I know exactly careful saying
- 29:53Speaker 2: say exactly yep for five stars.
- 29:56Speaker 4: But again, this is kind of just something that is
- 29:58Speaker 4: now becoming a true addition for gen z. So you
- 30:02Speaker 4: could probably see this weather witch a little bit more
- 30:06Speaker 4: common in weddings in the we know we're.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Going to get married, because I need to consult a
- 30:10Speaker 2: weather witch right now to see if that's even possible
- 30:13Speaker 2: for that.
- 30:14Speaker 4: They can even do hexes and curses, so it's not
- 30:17Speaker 4: just the positive way.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Can we do it to imagine, can we.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Do some research today, find a hex witch and let's
- 30:24Speaker 2: put a hex on somebody and see if something happened.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Wait, we just got invited to a wedding. Should we
- 30:27Speaker 6: hex that rue?
- 30:28Speaker 4: We want that wedding to go, Well, let's do it
- 30:30Speaker 4: to somebody that want to put a hex on somebody
- 30:33Speaker 4: we want to put a hex on well, we'll have
- 30:34Speaker 4: to workshop that.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Maybe do it off the air like our competition.
- 30:38Speaker 9: Oh, we are going to hex the crap out of Alice.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Alice is going down. Watch yeah, on you watch? Yeah.
- 30:50Speaker 3: How much is the Hexes run? Six to forty dollars?
- 30:53Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Same, yeah, yeah, yeah, let's go big, exactly forty dollars.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Hex here we come. I like it all.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Hitch for that one, Thank you for all this ridiculous information,
- 31:04Speaker 2: g which please get really quick. I was thinking about
- 31:07Speaker 2: the weather witches during that song. We know what it
- 31:11Speaker 2: takes to become a weather witch because I think I
- 31:13Speaker 2: just found my side hustle. I'm gonna do weather witching
- 31:16Speaker 2: in the afternoons. Yeah, you can just completely.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Make everything up.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Takes a good to bake it up, bringing up some
- 31:22Speaker 4: business cards and you're good to go.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Write some fake Yeah, that's it.
- 31:25Speaker 5: That's all I have to do.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I will do it. Jeremy the weather Witch, I think
- 31:29Speaker 3: you're you're the male version.
- 31:31Speaker 5: Of a weather warlock.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Weather Warlock. Holy crap, that works. The joy in your
- 31:38Speaker 3: eyes right now is theation with that? That sounds awesome.
- 31:47Speaker 6: I do like that.
- 31:49Speaker 5: I do like that. You know.
- 31:52Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 31:53Speaker 5: We should probably do this.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I gotta get on to go daddy real quick and
- 31:56Speaker 2: see if weather Warlock dot com is taken.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Nobody take it all right, exactly, don't you take it?
- 32:01Speaker 3: It's mine? You make it mad, It's mine.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Good morning, The sun starts now with Fast five.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Silly little game that we play.

- 49:57Speaker 4: you know there's so much going on all the time.
- 50:00Speaker 4: You can just eliminate that and go be with your
- 50:03Speaker 4: thoughts and nature and the birds like active the even
- 50:06Speaker 4: young people can agree that that lowers my stress.
- 50:09Speaker 5: Just thinking about Yeah.
- 50:13Speaker 2: I started whistling back to them, and they.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Started very Disney. They started to me, they made your dress.
- 50:20Speaker 3: I know exactly. That's how it all works in the
- 50:24Speaker 3: world of happiness.
- 50:25Speaker 4: It's funny you mentioned that because I agree with this
- 50:29Speaker 4: first one. They say, when you have experiences over material
- 50:33Speaker 4: things that definitely makes you happier. Now, experts looked at
- 50:38Speaker 4: things here when it came to you know, uh, genuinely
- 50:43Speaker 4: content people and researchers have identified five specific things that
- 50:47Speaker 4: kind of separate content people from everyone else and experiences
- 50:51Speaker 4: over things.
- 50:52Speaker 5: That's one of them.
- 50:54Speaker 4: I can relate to this because when I go hiking
- 50:56Speaker 4: and I post all my stuff on social media.
- 50:59Speaker 5: The richest people on my feet are like, oh my gosh,
- 51:01Speaker 5: I can't believe you go and do that.
- 51:03Speaker 4: You know, because they say when you have an experience
- 51:06Speaker 4: that lasts with you so much longer than if you
- 51:08Speaker 4: buy something, that feeling it gives you when you buy
- 51:12Speaker 4: something right, like, you get excited at first, but then
- 51:14Speaker 4: that goes away, but the experience is something that will
- 51:17Speaker 4: last you life for a really long time.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Something that I've explained that to my kids. Because experiences
- 51:23Speaker 2: and things like that make you a much more well
- 51:26Speaker 2: rounded person. Is Yeah, you're able to carry on conversations
- 51:29Speaker 2: about things and like if people bring up random things
- 51:33Speaker 2: like the lady who just called about the Wisconsin Dells,
- 51:35Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, I been there, done that, let's talk
- 51:37Speaker 2: about it.
- 51:38Speaker 3: And I can't tell it makes you more of a
- 51:40Speaker 3: well rounded person.
- 51:40Speaker 4: How many people reach out to me about waterfalls like
- 51:43Speaker 4: deeitly I get people send me videos places I can
- 51:47Speaker 4: see waterfalls.
- 51:48Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not kidding.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Daily people send me stuff because they know how much
- 51:52Speaker 4: I like to do it, how much happiness it brings me.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Prioritizing relationships. This one's interesting because.
- 51:57Speaker 4: They got a group of elderly people to get and
- 52:00Speaker 4: they asked them, looking back on your life, what's something
- 52:03Speaker 4: that you wish you paid more attention to?
- 52:05Speaker 3: And that's what they said.
- 52:06Speaker 4: They're like, you know, life throws at you so many things,
- 52:09Speaker 4: good and bad, and what helps you get through it
- 52:12Speaker 4: are the people in your life. But you know it works.
- 52:15Speaker 4: On the flip side, they're saying that that's such a
- 52:18Speaker 4: good point because they're saying the bad people are just
- 52:21Speaker 4: as bad for you. So the toxic relationships getting those
- 52:24Speaker 4: out of that part of it as well.
- 52:27Speaker 3: I'm at that stage.
- 52:28Speaker 2: I am at that stage where I have removed people
- 52:30Speaker 2: that really just do nothing for me. I know that
- 52:33Speaker 2: sounds that that phrase help bad, but it's like they
- 52:36Speaker 2: do nothing for me.
- 52:37Speaker 3: I don't need to be around them.
- 52:39Speaker 4: You need to think what serves you like It's okay
- 52:42Speaker 4: to say that, you know, it's okay, yeah right, okay.
- 52:47Speaker 5: This is another though. I want all new people, do you.
- 52:51Speaker 2: I have talked to my wife about this numerous times
- 52:54Speaker 2: over the past year.
- 52:56Speaker 3: I want new people. I just want new people in
- 52:58Speaker 3: my life group.
- 53:00Speaker 6: How do you find it?
- 53:01Speaker 2: I need new people, and I think we need to
- 53:03Speaker 2: move out of state. I want to start fresh and
- 53:05Speaker 2: I just want new people. Oh, all new people, top
- 53:09Speaker 2: to bottom.
- 53:10Speaker 3: There's a statement I know that.
- 53:12Speaker 2: I know I can't be alone in that I'm just
- 53:15Speaker 2: by entire bubble everybody. Not my family, I love you,
- 53:18Speaker 2: mom and did not my family, but like just my
- 53:22Speaker 2: bubble of everybody.
- 53:24Speaker 3: I want you all new people.
- 53:25Speaker 4: I have moved to different locations multiple times in my life,
- 53:29Speaker 4: and there's something to be said for starting over, starting
- 53:33Speaker 4: from scratch, keeping the relationships that mean something to you.
- 53:37Speaker 4: But it's okay to you know, move on to another
- 53:39Speaker 4: point in your life and get some you know.
- 53:42Speaker 3: All new people.
- 53:43Speaker 5: Yeah. I can't hate on that. I can't hate on that.
- 53:46Speaker 4: I want all new drama from new people, all new drama.
- 53:49Speaker 4: Speaking of drama, this one, I couldn't believe it. So
- 53:52Speaker 4: they say a high salary is.
- 53:53Speaker 3: Not the ultimate goal.
- 53:55Speaker 4: And in fact, so just study was done about sixteen
- 53:57Speaker 4: years ago. So the perfect salary they I know for
- 54:00Speaker 4: the perfect salary they said sixteen years ago was seventy
- 54:04Speaker 4: to ninety thousand dollars a year.
- 54:05Speaker 5: So what would it be now?
- 54:08Speaker 4: That's what you're thinking, like one to one thirty is
- 54:10Speaker 4: probably where it falls. And they say it's because once
- 54:13Speaker 4: you get over that, you really consume yourself with your job.
- 54:17Speaker 4: People who make that much money all they do is work,
- 54:20Speaker 4: and that takes away your happiness. So they're saying, if
- 54:23Speaker 4: you know truly happy people again, happiness is not just money. Jeremy,
- 54:28Speaker 4: I don't know about that one, and no, I a
- 54:29Speaker 4: one hundred percent agree. Really, if you're spending, if you
- 54:32Speaker 4: spend sixteen hours a day, that's not healthy.
- 54:35Speaker 5: That's how you're making one hundred thousand.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Dollars not necessary. I disagree it's not necessary.
- 54:39Speaker 4: So they say high paying jobs are all consuming. It
- 54:42Speaker 4: really does, and I would agree with this. I agree
- 54:45Speaker 4: that the valuing time over money is very important.
- 54:48Speaker 3: There's a different magic behind that.
- 54:50Speaker 2: They say, the more money that you make, you actually
- 54:52Speaker 2: earn your time back. Now because you're able to hire
- 54:56Speaker 2: an accountant, a house cleaner is somebody to do your launch?
- 54:59Speaker 2: No you, Yeah, it's true. Who's mister wonderful what's his name?
- 55:06Speaker 2: Talks about this a lot. The more money you make,
- 55:08Speaker 2: you actually are able to buy your time at buy
- 55:12Speaker 2: You are buying your time back because you have people
- 55:14Speaker 2: to do things, the mundane things for you, essentially, and
- 55:18Speaker 2: you gain that time back.
- 55:19Speaker 5: I'm gonna listen to Biggie and then you're.
- 55:22Speaker 2: When your money starts making money as well? Yeah, you
- 55:27Speaker 2: make okay.
- 55:30Speaker 4: I know that you two both think this because you
- 55:31Speaker 4: value money a lot more than I do.
- 55:33Speaker 5: But they say, here's the thing.
- 55:34Speaker 4: They say that this specifical.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Story, I value it, but I'm incredibly smart with it too. Well.
- 55:39Speaker 3: They said that do you use money?
- 55:42Speaker 5: Okay?
- 55:42Speaker 4: A Harvard study followed a thousand students after graduation. They
- 55:46Speaker 4: said that those who went into the workforce and valued
- 55:48Speaker 4: time more than money tended to be happier when surveyed
- 55:51Speaker 4: later in their career. That didn't mean they took lazy,
- 55:54Speaker 4: low pressure opportunities. It meant that they had a line
- 55:57Speaker 4: at which the pursuit of money wasn't worth the sacrifice.
- 56:00Speaker 4: And so that's what they're talking about there, the line
- 56:03Speaker 4: where They're like, this just isn't worth it anymore, and
- 56:05Speaker 4: they understood the balance.
- 56:07Speaker 3: What is the balance in this?
- 56:09Speaker 4: But so that one, I guess you could take it
- 56:11Speaker 4: with a grain of salt because it depends on how
- 56:14Speaker 4: much you value money.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Also, you take care of yourself.
- 56:17Speaker 4: They're saying that people who are truly happy actually care
- 56:20Speaker 4: about the things that matter, the basic stuff, eating healthy,
- 56:24Speaker 4: exercising and getting enough sleep. So those things you know,
- 56:29Speaker 4: people who you know make sure that those things are
- 56:31Speaker 4: in check for them, they tend.
- 56:33Speaker 5: To be happier.
- 56:33Speaker 8: Yea.
- 56:34Speaker 3: So those are good five things.
- 56:35Speaker 5: Five good things.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I think should we go back a couple hours and
- 56:37Speaker 2: talk about all that lard that.
- 56:40Speaker 3: That's one day out of many, but you're happy with
- 56:44Speaker 3: actually made you really.
- 56:45Speaker 5: Hard, made me happy exactly, But so did the mango.
- 56:49Speaker 3: There you go, it's all balance about ballance there.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Bringing some smiles to your face today. Jk J makes
- 56:58Speaker 2: one hundred. It's from Benji. I wrote back and I
- 57:01Speaker 2: was like, well yeah, Benji, and he's out in Morrison.
- 57:03Speaker 2: So Benji from Morrison. He says, I got a dilemma.
- 57:07Speaker 2: About a month ago. I proposed to my girlfriend and
- 57:09Speaker 2: she said yes. Everything was amazing, and I thought we
- 57:14Speaker 2: were starting the next chapter of our lives. I gave
- 57:19Speaker 2: her the receipt for the engagement ring that I got
- 57:22Speaker 2: for her. She said, oh, thanks, She shoved it into
- 57:25Speaker 2: her purse and said, I'm gonna file this away and
- 57:27Speaker 2: make sure everything is documented for insurance purposes, which is
- 57:30Speaker 2: incredibly reasonable. Right, See, something happens she got the receipt
- 57:34Speaker 2: for the ring. He goes on to say something about, yes,
- 57:38Speaker 2: she'd get to it later because she did shove it
- 57:40Speaker 2: in a purse, and then he goes on in this
- 57:42Speaker 2: message and he says, about a week later, she came
- 57:45Speaker 2: home and told me something I wasn't expecting.
- 57:48Speaker 3: She had stopped by the jewelry store where I had
- 57:51Speaker 3: purchased the ring. She says, just to look.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Around, as the quote, and she found another engagement ring
- 57:58Speaker 2: while she was there that she actually liked a whole
- 58:01Speaker 2: lot more, and the jeweler told her that she could
- 58:04Speaker 2: exchange the one I gave her for a new one,
- 58:08Speaker 2: so she did. Oh, she flip flopped the rings. Now
- 58:16Speaker 2: he goes on to say, well, she wasn't trying to
- 58:18Speaker 2: hide it. She told me that day, and she said
- 58:21Speaker 2: she hoped I wasn't upset, but she just saw this ring,
- 58:25Speaker 2: fell in love with it, and she kind of liked
- 58:27Speaker 2: it better. Here's why I'm struggling. It's not really about
- 58:31Speaker 2: the ring. I wonder to love what she's got to
- 58:33Speaker 2: wear for the rest of her life. If she had
- 58:35Speaker 2: come to me and said, can we pick out a
- 58:37Speaker 2: different ring together, that would have been better. I probably
- 58:40Speaker 2: would have been fine with it. What bothers me is
- 58:43Speaker 2: that she made the decision without me. It felt like
- 58:45Speaker 2: something that was supposed to be our moment suddenly became
- 58:48Speaker 2: her decision. I put a lot of thought into choosing
- 58:51Speaker 2: that ring and to kind of shrug it off and
- 58:54Speaker 2: swap it out with even not even talking to me first.
- 58:57Speaker 2: He's like, that ain't cool. Now I'm wondering, is this
- 59:01Speaker 2: how we handle big decisions from here on out? Is
- 59:04Speaker 2: this what's gonna happen before we're even married, what happens
- 59:08Speaker 2: when we buy a house? Is she gonna flip flop
- 59:10Speaker 2: on that, raising kids, flip flop on that?
- 59:13Speaker 3: Am I making way too much out of this?
- 59:15Speaker 2: Or is this a red flag about how she's gonna
- 59:17Speaker 2: handle the decisions in our marriage?
- 59:20Speaker 3: What should I do? And that's from Benji.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Out in Morrison, if you have thoughts on this three
- 59:27Speaker 2: oh three six nine one one mix three oh three
- 59:30Speaker 2: six nine one sixteen forty nine. This is nutty. Yeah,
- 59:36Speaker 2: who does that? Who goes into a jewelry store.
- 59:38Speaker 3: And just flops out the engagement ring?
- 59:40Speaker 4: Well, I don't think she meant to do that, but
- 59:42Speaker 4: once the option was there, listen, she has to wear
- 59:45Speaker 4: that finally the rest of their relationship at least, So
- 59:50Speaker 4: I don't I can see both sides of this one.
- 59:53Speaker 6: I what I was gonna say.
- 59:55Speaker 8: On the other hand, Katie, like, as someone who's possibly
- 59:58Speaker 8: thinking about doing something like this relatively soon, like I
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: would feel kind of slighted. I would feel kind of upset, like, oh,
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: you didn't like all the time, thought, money and everything
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: that I put into that.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: You know, I understand, I understand. I can see both sides.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: But he doesn't have to wear it, like she's the
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: one who's gonna have to wear it. But and so
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: I just to say she's become a guy's point of view,
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: you know, But to say she's gonna do it about
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: the house and the kids and everything else is crazy,
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: like that doesn't apply to just her.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: But why didn't she Why did she just happen to
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: make her way into that jewelry store too, like she
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: was on a mission. She should have spoke up too. Oh,
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: you don't just happen to wander into the same jewelry
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: store with the receipt in your person. I don't know
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: if she has without alterior motives.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: I think maybe, I don't know.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: That's not spontaneous, right, You don't just wander into a
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Jared's I'm not sure, or Shaneko.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Or one of the biggies. Hi Dana Banana morning? All right?
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: So is this a red flag? Was this cool?
- 1:01:01Speaker 14: It's a giant red flag and he knows it. That's
- 1:01:04Speaker 14: why he wrote. Yeah, he's got a nagging voice. There's
- 1:01:07Speaker 14: other red flags. He just needs someone to speak into that,
- 1:01:12Speaker 14: Like people need to listen to their intuition.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: So, you know, do you think he should just cut
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: and run at this point?
- 1:01:18Speaker 14: Absolutely? WHOA What a story she came up with? I
- 1:01:24Speaker 14: mean she talked to all of her girlfriends, you know,
- 1:01:27Speaker 14: like this was calculated and planned and carried out and
- 1:01:30Speaker 14: then told to him as if he's a dumb puppy.
- 1:01:32Speaker 14: He can be a dumb puppy smart, you know it?
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: Does you know? What you kind of made a good point.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Maybe she did start showing girlfriends and family or whatever,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: and they're like, I don't know.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: If you're a white gold type of person, you know.
- 1:01:47Speaker 14: It's not easy to swap out a diamond ring at
- 1:01:49Speaker 14: any jewelers. It's not easy. It's a thing. Yeah, it's
- 1:01:53Speaker 14: also I mean, she didn't show her girlfriends that way.
- 1:01:56Speaker 14: She showed them like, oh my god.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: But if she doesn't like it, she has no say
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: in that she's gotta wear this ring for the rest
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: of her life.
- 1:02:06Speaker 14: She has total say. She just treated her fiance like
- 1:02:09Speaker 14: a dumb puppy.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of that's my thing too, Like, I'm
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: fine if she didn't like it, have the conversation with me.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Let's go get something that you're gonna adore for the
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: rest of your life.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: Clearly he didn't have a conversation with her before he
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: got the ring, otherwise she would have liked it.
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Do you always have the conversation?
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I did with Nick Knak. We went in the jewelry
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: stores and I was like, what do you like? Ye know, Danna,
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: thank you, I have your vote for red Flag and run.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: We really appreciate you. Calling in. Here's Marky Mark.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Hi Mark, Hello Psych, Hi Clara, Welcome to the show.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Hi, hey girl, Red Flag bad idea. What do you think.
- 1:02:55Speaker 13: I'm kind of on the fence about it, because I
- 1:02:56Speaker 13: do see both sides. Like Katie said, I do think
- 1:02:59Speaker 13: it is a shows that she went there, uh, to
- 1:03:02Speaker 13: the jeweler store in the first place, because, like the
- 1:03:04Speaker 13: last color said, that's not something that just happens, Like
- 1:03:06Speaker 13: she didn't just wander in. Definitely premeditated, and I think
- 1:03:10Speaker 13: she has a right to, you know, obviously pick out
- 1:03:14Speaker 13: what ring she wanted and whether or not she had
- 1:03:17Speaker 13: communicated that prior. Like maybe it's on Benji. Maybe he
- 1:03:22Speaker 13: didn't actually listen to what she said, like, oh, I
- 1:03:24Speaker 13: told you I like gold, you got silver. You know,
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: we don't know the whole situation. Yeah, but I do
- 1:03:29Speaker 13: think that's that's something she should have communicated to him.
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:03:34Speaker 13: Yeah, And it does seem kind of shady that she
- 1:03:36Speaker 13: went behind his back and kind of like played it off.
- 1:03:39Speaker 13: So are you Maybe maybe she was trying to spare
- 1:03:41Speaker 13: his feelings though, you know, in her defense, maybe she
- 1:03:43Speaker 13: just thought that like, oh, he'd feel really hurt if,
- 1:03:46Speaker 13: you know, he spent a less time picking it out,
- 1:03:48Speaker 13: and I told him like straight up, like, hey, I
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: actually don't like it. I think that would maybe she
- 1:03:52Speaker 13: was trying to push in his feelings.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: I feel like that would have been even though it
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: sucks either way, that would have been the more gentle
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: way to do it, versus just going up with.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Something completely different. Even though it's a conversation that.
- 1:04:06Speaker 13: Yeah, they didn't communicate. I don't think necessarily this has
- 1:04:09Speaker 13: to be a deal breaker. I think, you know, I
- 1:04:12Speaker 13: think if there's other things that are going on and
- 1:04:14Speaker 13: this is kind of a trend, then maybe yes, that's
- 1:04:17Speaker 13: something concerning.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: So am I putting you under red flag? Talk about
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: this or cut and run?
- 1:04:25Speaker 13: I think red flag, but talk about it, okay. I think,
- 1:04:27Speaker 13: you know, I think they have that genuine conversation and
- 1:04:30Speaker 13: you know, maybe she admits like, hey, I didn't want
- 1:04:31Speaker 13: to hear your feeling. Sorry, it just is, you know,
- 1:04:34Speaker 13: I got in a little too deep and this is
- 1:04:35Speaker 13: what happened. And you know, I think they can move
- 1:04:38Speaker 13: forward from this. I don't think it's a deal breaker,
- 1:04:40Speaker 13: but I got in there, need to have a conversation.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Everything It was just so spark exactly.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: I couldn't control myself before I knew it, I walked
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: out with a different ring. All right, Clara, thank you
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: so much for the call. I got two red flags
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: right now, and we will go to Tracy.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: Hi, Tracy, Hey, how are you all?
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: We're super We.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Love these segments because it's like so juicy for us
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: that we deal with other people's problems.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: You know, write a songs that are not your own.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: I know that's what makes it fun.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Okay, So what are your thoughts on this guy's situation
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: and what's your advice?
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: So kudos to him for the effort in trying to
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: like get a ring on his own. But I was
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: given a ring as an engagement once and the ring
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: just didn't feel like me at all. And I had
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: actually needed paperwork, you know, to go get it insured.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: When I went to the jewelry store where the box
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: was from, they said that they didn't carry that ring.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Later I found out that that ring was not even
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: meant for me. It was a reuse rink. It made
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: perfect sense why it didn't feel like me. But I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: would like to make a suggestion to all the men
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: out there. If you're going to get married, and you
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: have been talking about getting married. Why not have like
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: three jewelry stores that you choose and you tell your
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: future fiance to go pick out two or three rings
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: at each store, and then the guy gets to pick
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: one of those rings that she already chose.
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: That she likes.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Perfect. That's probably absolutely perfect. Love that.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: It's very similar with what I did with my wife
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: where we went to the jwelry store and I was like,
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: just show me, give me five that really catch your eye,
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: and then I'll go from there type thing. Yeah, and
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: then I went to Cole's and got one that looked
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: very similar for way less, way lesser.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Jeremy. Sorry, ladies, I'm taking.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: The red flag. I don't think it's a red flag
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: at all. I think it's like more like a yellow.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: And like the other caller said, if there's other things
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: that have been going on that this is just a
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: you know, like the cherry on top. The communication is
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: key in all relationships, and so just talk about it
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: and see how each other was feeling.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good. Just talk it out. Believe it or not,
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: that usually works.
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: Have a conversation.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: You're gonna have a whole lifelong marriage.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Now you got to learn to talk to each other Tracy,
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: we have your vote, thank you so very much. Well,
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: right now it's two to one, so in favor of
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: red flag.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: I think it's a little bit of a red flag.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: But I'm kind of with our callers. Just sit down,
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: let's talk this out.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: Okay. I think that's gonna be your best move.
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: Yeah, that's gonna be the at least step one and
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: go from there. But you need to have a conversation
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: for sure, say please.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Don't do this again, like loop me in on big
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: decisions like this. Plea yes, Well that shound means a shine.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: For a makes one hundred Sports Report dipping our tone
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: into the world of sports this morning.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: This is a very sports heavy story.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Here.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: A tequila company out in New York just celebrated the
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: end of the FIFA World Cup by gathering dozens upon
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: dozens upon dozens of people together to play on the
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: world's longest foosball table.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: It is five hundred and twenty five feet long. What'd
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: be fun? And you're like, how many of those tables
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: is that?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Well, you'd have to line up a hundred and twelve
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: standard size foosball.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Tables and that's how you set a world record. Right now,
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: but I was looking at the pictures. It's not like
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: they just lined a bunch up. It was like one
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: just really long with a goal at each end. Isn't
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: that funny that it is?
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: But it's also still going to be the same. Everyone
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: will play it once and never play it again. That's
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: how it'll work.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: That one jackass. He just spins it hard as he can.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: No game.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: It's like the same, Yeah, play like Mortal Kombat and
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: the same move over and over and over again.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: He's a Spinner's that guy? That guy, And if you're
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: on the other end, you're like.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Oh, my hand to see I would rather invest in
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: a popin shot next time you get the world's largest
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: you know, basketball game going on, you tell me about
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: that like that that's what it's.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Called, right, No, Yeah, I wanted to put one in
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: my basement. That was another thing. I was like, nobody's
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: gonna play.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: That's all the people would play that play pop and shot.
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: But foosball really is the devil.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: I was gonna play tricks on people too.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Made them really like heavy balls, like really really like
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: a watermelon.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: So you go over there and try to pick.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Them up, You're like, oh, I got one more final
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: thing for you, and then we'll hop over to Josh.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: But some Spanish midfielders from the Spain team that won.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: The FIFA World Cup, they went.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Back to town, back to where they came from, uh
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Fabian and some guy named Javi, and they were celebrated
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: in their hometown in a very unique way for winning.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: This goofy soccer match.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: They were given their weight in tomatoes as they congratulations
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: for the big w.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: The Spanish tomatoes though, right, I mean, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: get that.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: A Fabian guy got one hundred and eighty eight pounds
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: of tomatoes and Jav got one hundred and forty three
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: pounds of tomatoes.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Did I say potatoes? Tomatoes? That's a lot of tomatoes.
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: What do you do with them?
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: Made the world's sexiest bucket of salsa, That's what we
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: made with it, because it's there way and they're sexy
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: because there's soccer players, and so we made sexy salsa.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: Okay, that's this went like a completely different ange. Oh well,
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: we all know Katie's fantasy.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Now, two soccer dudes laying in a vat of salsa.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: Excuse me while I take a break.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Do you need to go lay down somebody getting this
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: girl a cigarette immediately. My goodness, you're into that, like
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: two naked dudes and in salsa.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: I feel bad for the dudes.
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: They never skip leg day.
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: If you're naked in salsa, Yeah, that's gonna get in
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: your ppding game and that's not gonna feel good at all.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: You don't want salsa in your ppding. Dame, I did
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: it once, never again, never again, never again.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: I'll tell you that much right now, Josh, what you got?
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: Moving on from the world of soccer to the equestrian
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: world of sport, A Montana teen is hailed as a
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: hero for saving a life at the Yellowstone River. A
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: fourteen year old Montana rancher is credited now with saving
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: a man's life using an unlikely tool, his rodeo lasso.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: Jory Thomas was camping out with his family in Montana
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: on July fifth, and over that weekend, he said, a
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: rafter and a paddle border struck a pillared bridge, throwing
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: people into the Yellowstone River. Three people were able to
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: reach the shore safely. However, one man kept drifting downstream
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: cleaning to his cooler that was in the boat, so
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: he wasn't able to get to the shore because sometimes
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: that river is just flowing way too quickly. So what
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: Thomas did was sprinted along the river bank and threw
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: his twelve foot lasso around the man. He said, I
- 1:11:35Speaker 8: got him first try. That is an athlete, if you
- 1:11:37Speaker 8: ask me, he got him first try.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: He actually lastoed him.
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: He lasted him, threw the lasso around him, grabbed onto him,
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: and pulled him safely to shore. He said, I pulled
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: him from twelve feet of chest deep water until first
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: responders were able to arrive. And his grandmother, as well
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: as many other people, noted that Jory had never previously
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: brought his lasso camping, so this was just like luck
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: of the draw here and now the whole community think
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: this man is a total hero as he is.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: See them interviewing that grandma.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: I'll show you he bring some lash He always leaves
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: lash os home. He's a one time he brings his
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: lash hos he's got from rivers.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Well, good for him.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: That's impressive to you, Jey Thomas.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: And still just a rope. He just threw a rope
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: out there. Okay, anyway, try it, Jared, I don't want.
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: To come on here.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: The man is flower. That's pretty solid.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: It's pretty cool.
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: He was clinging to a cooler Jeremy, there's your sports report.
- 1:12:29Speaker 10: We've got receives, we've got drummers, we've got Denver talking.
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: It's the mile high like with.
- 1:12:36Speaker 10: The JKJ Legends and icon on mixed one hundred.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Well, this will be a quick one because we went
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: a little along with showings to know.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: But Katie, what's the local stuff?
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: Should we do the fast happy stuff about one in
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: Arcade Bar opening a new location because that was FUNO. Well,
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: they were bombed when they closed the original spot last
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: month on Blake Street that was downtown Denver.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: And yeah when that happened, people are like what why?
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: So very excited about the new one up Arcade Bars
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: is going to be in the Bellmar shopping Center and

- 1:13:12Speaker 4: They're gonna put up a one up Arcade Bar so
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: that will join Greenwood Village, Westminster as well as the

- 1:13:27Speaker 2: too far.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: I'll get up there and play can wrecket Ralph right
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: up the road. It's exactly it.
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: And then one more for all you Bronco fans out there,
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: a little sports nugget for you because backup QB. Jared Stidham,
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: he's going to be at Panda Express today in Englewood

- 1:14:30Speaker 4: have to do it. I know he's lucky he gets
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: to have Panda Express here. I don't know why you're
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: feeling bad for him.

- 1:15:08Speaker 2: how are you?
- 1:15:09Speaker 13: Good morning?
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: I'm great.
- 1:15:10Speaker 14: How are you?
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: Guys saying, well, we're super dubes? Definitely super dubes. Tell
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: us a little bit about yourself.
- 1:15:19Speaker 13: Yeah, Hi, I'm living in Aurora right now. I've worked
- 1:15:24Speaker 13: two different jobs. I sell insurance and I work at
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: a restaurant, and I'm very excited.
- 1:15:28Speaker 15: It is my first time playing.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Hey, thanks for colling. Who do you sell insurance for?
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Private, privately, just privately. It's just Lisa's insurance company.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Yeah, She's like, I got you COVID, I got you
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: umbrella policy here for you.
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: Okay, you like what you do.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I love what I do.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: Good for you? That's huge, that is massive. Well do
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: you know a lot about stuff?
- 1:15:54Speaker 13: I think I do. I have a feeling Katie's going
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: to put me to the test.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: She's pretty good.
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: I bring it.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: But faith and you, Lisa, I think you got this. Yeah.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: She scrolls the internet and watches TV roughly eighteen hours
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: a day, so she's pretty tapped into everything.
- 1:16:10Speaker 5: I O don't know why that made me so proud.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Anything you want to say before you leave the room,
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Oh no, just good luck, Lisa.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: Let's have fun while we do it.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Huh, thank you? All right, get out of here, Lisa.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: She goes into a room where she can't hear anything.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: That's next to the studio. I come up with the
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: questions so there's no cheating, and then we'll find out
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: if you're right or wrong once.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: We bring her back into the studio. Are you psyched?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Are you ready to play?
- 1:16:35Speaker 15: I am so psyched.
- 1:16:37Speaker 13: I'm so ready to play.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: You have good energy, so let's do this.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Please tell me what two brothers squashed their long standing
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: feud to get the band back together and go on
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: tour for the first time in sixteen years.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Who was that band? I don't know.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: We'll find out if you're right or wrong once we bring
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Katie back, but I'll put you down for a waste.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Here's your second question, Phil and Claire dunfe Are from
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: what TV.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Show Modern Family?
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: Your third question, what was the pig's name in the
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: movie Charlotte's Web Babe Babe?
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Am?
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: I thinking of the wrong?
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: And your fourth question what band sang the song smells
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: like teen Spirit Havana? And your final question, what was
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Simba's dad's name in the Lion King.
- 1:17:37Speaker 15: Mufasa?
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: All right, let's get Katie.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Cat back in here making her way in.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: Okay, Hi, Hi, welcome back. How was your adventure? It
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: was great? Yeah, it was great. You in there tooting
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: or anything all about yourself?
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: We'll find out later.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: All right, you're ready to bring it? Let me yeah,
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: let me get them up here for Lisa.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Okay, Katie, let's do that damn thing. What two brothers
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: squashed their long lasting, long standing feud to get the
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: band back together and go out on tour.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: For the first time in sixteen years? Brothers, brothers. I
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: can only think of the Jonas brothers right now. Oh,
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: that's sad.
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: Lisa, what did you say?
- 1:18:21Speaker 14: Ooh?
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: And they did get back, they really did, and they
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: were fighting.
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: For so long. Okay, shake it off. Fine.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Phil and Claire Dunfie are from what TV show Modern Family?
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: That is also what Lisa say. Yay for you?
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Okay, okay, I love that show because Al Bundy's in it.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: What was the pig's name in the movie Charlotte's Web Wilbur.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: Too way? You said it wi Wilber? Sadly, Lisa, you said, babe, I.
- 1:19:00Speaker 13: Thought I answered too quickly.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: To so many pigs to choose from Katie?
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: What band sang the song smells like Teen Spirit Nirvana.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: That's also what Lisa said, He's too easy to What
