- 0:01Mizrahi Inspiration sheer #2 Yesterday we learned how vitally
- 0:07important it is to understand the true nature of the Jewish
- 0:10people, that we are a community chosen by Hashem for a purpose
- 0:15in the world, and the Torah helps us to manifest our
- 0:18national purpose and destiny, says Rob Svia of the cook Rob
- 0:23Cook's son. He said that learning to love
- 0:27our nation, Israel, was the foremost educational task of our
- 0:31time. Learning to love each and every
- 0:33single Jew. Once we recognize individually,
- 0:37once we get into our minds, once we live with a sense of pride
- 0:41and uprightness. In capitalistic language you
- 0:44could say Mohin the gutless, an expansive sense of self, not to
- 0:50the point of conceit or arrogance, but to recognize the
- 0:53opportunity that living provides us and what Jewish living is all
- 0:56about living. According to Tora, then we
- 0:59extend our hands in friendship and brotherhood to each and
- 1:03every single person. True ahava true love is an
- 1:10encompassing orientation to all of creation, which is really
- 1:15only achieved once we study Torah.
- 1:18And in Torah leads us to greater sense of emuna, of belief and
- 1:21faith and connection, not only to our Shim, but in ourselves
- 1:25and our ability, as in the lion, in Moda ani, rapper, emuna taka.
- 1:29Great is your faithfulness in me that I am capable of fulfilling
- 1:33the destiny for which and the purpose for which I was created.
- 1:39I think modern living has created these artificial cliques
- 1:43within our people that we don't recognize the other as being as
- 1:46valuable as ourselves. And perhaps it's manifestation
- 1:49of low self esteem, lack of awareness of the collective goal
- 1:54of our people. But we need to be attentive to
- 1:58each and every single human being, every single one.
- 2:01We must try to recognize their needs before they express them
- 2:04and be there for each other. That is the community that we
- 2:08are trying to create, Once after a class, a student arthroposvid,
- 2:14the cook. Which is preferable?
- 2:17To be religious and anti Zionist or to be a Zionist and not
- 2:23religious the Russia Shiva outside in a loud voice.
- 2:28We need to love all of Ami's trial.
- 2:30It isn't our task to judge the value of Jews.
- 2:35If you think this is just wishy washy fairy tales, can I just
- 2:38remind you that in the sit there we say every single day in the
- 2:41Brach before the Shama, say Ahavaraba Avtanu, you have loved
- 2:45us with the great love, Hashemilokenu shamao Gods kemla
- 2:50gidola, with we Tera Hammataleno and with surpassing compassion.
- 2:54Have you had compassion on us? Hashem has special love for each
- 2:59and every one of us. That's not a love for certain
- 3:05people, a love for the whole of our nation.
- 3:07Just as Hashem's love for the whole Jewish people encompasses
- 3:10everybody, so must we. And following the ways of
- 3:14Hashem, we have to love the whole of the Jewish people.
- 3:19How did the Kohanim give a broca to the people?
- 3:22They say the Varakhatamoy Israel, but I have to bless the
- 3:26nation. That's their duty.
- 3:28But they say it with love. That's part of it.
- 3:30And if there's a problem between the Cohen and the people, then
- 3:33he can't bless them because you can't bless someone that you
- 3:35don't truly love. So these concepts are all
- 3:39encoded in our doverning and the Torah.
- 3:44Let us manifest them as expressions of living life
- 3:48according to the the values that we espouse, the words we say in
- 3:52our press. The Torah we learn can't just
- 3:54be. Lip service has to penetrate our
- 3:57heart and our minds, and that is what we need to try and work on
- 3:59today and continue building our beautiful community.
- 4:02Have a great day.
