- 0:42Speaker 2: that I found yesterday, and some people will probably laughing.
- 0:44Speaker 2: They'll be like, duh, you should have always been doing that,
- 0:47Speaker 2: But yesterday I got on the treadmill to do like
- 0:49Speaker 2: my hike. I haven't been very good at working out
- 0:51Speaker 2: this year so far either. Oh, well, you had an injury,
- 0:55Speaker 2: so we had an excuse me. Ever, I don't. But
- 0:59Speaker 2: you know, my little treadmill has a TV attached to it,
- 1:02Speaker 2: and I've never thought about like going on YouTube or whatever,
- 1:04Speaker 2: and I like landed on this, like live channel of
- 1:07Speaker 2: the Office, and they just basically show a full montage
- 1:10Speaker 2: of like best moments from the show The Office. And
- 1:13Speaker 2: I just got locked into this thing and I looked
- 1:15Speaker 2: up and I was like, oh my god, I've been
- 1:16Speaker 2: walking here, hiking for over thirty minutes not even noticing. Yeah.
- 1:20Speaker 2: So that's my life hack. If you are on the
- 1:22Speaker 2: treadmill or a stationary bike or something, watch The Office.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I like that. See. You know what mine is when
- 1:27Speaker 1: it comes to just staying focused or just being distracted,
- 1:30Speaker 1: is yeah crime stories. Oh so I get on YouTube
- 1:33Speaker 1: and watch like a dateline special, and I get so
- 1:35Speaker 1: into it. I don't even know what's going on.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it just takes you out.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah. And I can listen to them when I'm driving.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I listen, I won't watch them. Yeah, And I could
- 1:42Speaker 1: just drive for three hours and just crime story after
- 1:45Speaker 1: crime story.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah. It was good because it was just like short
- 1:47Speaker 2: clips of like funny scenes. You know, I don't even
- 1:50Speaker 2: know what was going on in the episode, but the
- 1:51Speaker 2: scenes were so funny. I just like, keep going.
- 1:53Speaker 1: You don't even have to really think about it.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my lifestyle.
- 1:56Speaker 1: The bad part though about me, though, is when I
- 1:58Speaker 1: watch these crime stories and then I'm shock that I
- 2:00Speaker 1: can't sleep.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the first thing you said to me today.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I have a nightmares. I can't sleep.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Oh, I watched so many. There's this one on YouTube.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's called e wu Oh. I don't even know why.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's like something explore with us. I think it is okay.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Their crime stories are so good, and I've been so
- 2:17Speaker 1: into it.
- 2:18Speaker 2: No, switch to the office, something easy watching.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You're right, we should.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I think it'll help.
- 2:23Speaker 1: And then yesterday I finally get to sleep, and I'm like,
- 2:26Speaker 1: everything's good. And I don't know if anybody's ever had
- 2:28Speaker 1: this happen to them. If you have a dog out
- 2:30Speaker 1: of nowhere. It's about one o'clock in the morning, and
- 2:33Speaker 1: I wake up in a panic because my dog, in
- 2:35Speaker 1: his sleep, is having a nightmare. Oh yeah, and he's howling,
- 2:38Speaker 1: oh like a wolf. Yeah wow, I mean literally like
- 2:42Speaker 1: full blown Oh what? And I wake up just panicking.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think there's a chup of cobbra in the house.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Firston doesn't howl, but he kind of like whimpers in
- 2:53Speaker 2: his sleep. Yeah, and I feel like he's like in pain.
- 2:56Speaker 1: No. Yeah, yeah, I've had that happen to but this
- 2:58Speaker 1: time last night, my dog Triggered was at the end
- 3:00Speaker 1: of the bed howling like a wolf, so I couldn't
- 3:03Speaker 1: see him, didn't know what was going on. Here's somebody howling,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and I'm like, immediately in panic mode that somebody's in
- 3:10Speaker 1: the house howling and trying to kill me.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Oh no, I'm just like, what is going on with
- 3:13Speaker 2: the crime story?
- 3:14Speaker 1: I have to I'm gonna watch the office producer pill.
- 3:17Speaker 1: How are you? Man? When did tires become so expensive?
- 3:21Speaker 1: Tell me about it.
- 3:22Speaker 6: Yesterday I had a flat and I pulled up to MTB.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Tire was almost one tire two hundred dollars.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, gosh. He hooked me up.
- 3:32Speaker 6: But I was like, God, I'm used to going off
- 3:35Speaker 6: thirty and getting those thirty five dollars.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I was gonna say, couldn't you plug it or something?
- 3:39Speaker 1: I was good to.
- 3:40Speaker 6: He's like, man, really, you can't plug this one because
- 3:43Speaker 6: it was on the inside of it.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, why why did you get a flat?
- 3:47Speaker 6: He pulled out a screw about like two and a
- 3:50Speaker 6: half inches. I was like, I ain't been around no construction.
- 3:53Speaker 6: He's like, yeah, Bud, it just happens like that sometimes.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Really Yeah, it was in the wall so you couldn't
- 3:58Speaker 1: plug it or what couldn't plug it?
- 4:00Speaker 6: Yeah, that was just like so two hundred dollars for
- 4:03Speaker 6: just one one higher. He's like, man, I got special
- 4:06Speaker 6: if you want to get all four and they're all warranted.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I was like, dude, I'm not about to do that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Everything is so expensive. Yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I was at the grocery store yesterday, like and usually
- 4:16Speaker 2: I know like my go to items, and I know
- 4:18Speaker 2: what the prices are. Everything was at least a dollar
- 4:21Speaker 2: more than it usually is.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And I try to be eat healthy now, so I
- 4:25Speaker 1: don't think what we Candis do when I'm at the
- 4:26Speaker 1: grocery store good. I'd be like, what would candids do?
- 4:29Speaker 1: And then I'm like, well, i'll tell you what. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: don't know what candis would do, but I know I'm
- 4:32Speaker 1: not doing this because the peanut butter you eat was
- 4:35Speaker 1: like eighteen dollars.
- 4:36Speaker 2: No, I don't buy eighteen dollars.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I swear to There was peanut butter for seven It
- 4:41Speaker 1: was like seventeen ninety nine.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I believe it though.
- 4:43Speaker 1: For organic cash you that's it.
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's the peanut butter with somebody's name on it. Yeah, Well,
- 4:51Speaker 2: like Justin or Uncle Roy, or yeah it's more expensive
- 4:56Speaker 2: to have someone's name on it, just by the three,
- 4:57Speaker 2: six five, or well, yeah, get value.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Give me the great value, Peanut Butter.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Tessa's tough stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid
- 5:05Speaker 3: in the.
- 5:05Speaker 7: Morning only on the new Mix one two point nine.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Again, we got a chance for you to go see
- 5:10Speaker 1: Harry Styles a trip on us. Let's make that happen.
- 5:13Speaker 1: We'll do it on the forties every hour, So six
- 5:15Speaker 1: forty your next chance to win? Cannice, what's up?
- 5:18Speaker 5: Well?
- 5:18Speaker 2: A woman issuing Atlas Energy for over one million dollars.
- 5:21Speaker 2: She says a natural gas league destroyed her home and
- 5:24Speaker 2: left her with life altering injuries. So the explosion happened
- 5:28Speaker 2: in Lake Dallas. She was in the home at the time.
- 5:31Speaker 2: She had to be airlifted to the hospital after neighbors
- 5:34Speaker 2: pulled her from the rubble. Her house, she says, though,
- 5:37Speaker 2: has no gas service or gas appliances.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 2: The lawsuit claims gas came from Atmos facilities into her
- 5:45Speaker 2: home before it ignited. They haven't released an official cause
- 5:48Speaker 2: for the explosion. But if you saw this, the house
- 5:51Speaker 2: was completely leveled.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Oh I think I did. I just saw it on
- 5:54Speaker 1: the news.
- 5:54Speaker 8: It was fair.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I didn't hear the sound, but if that was it,
- 5:56Speaker 1: that looked devastating. And I can't believe she survived.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, she's she's lucky to be alive. There
- 6:01Speaker 2: were I guess two other gas leaks a few days
- 6:04Speaker 2: before this, so people around there are like, we need answers,
- 6:07Speaker 2: like is it safe, you know, for us to live
- 6:09Speaker 2: in this neighborhood in Lake Dallas. There's supposed to be
- 6:12Speaker 2: a town hall meeting soon to discuss this, but they
- 6:14Speaker 2: haven't said when. But I just thought, in a million dollars,
- 6:18Speaker 2: I think she could get way more than that.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Wait, that's all she's so in form Yeah, a.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Million dollars, but I think she's still in the ICU.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, she deserves at least ten million. Yeah, at
- 6:27Speaker 1: least right for sure, they can afford it.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they can afford one hundred person who's her lawyer? Yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 2: I have no idea. But if your home is gone,
- 6:35Speaker 2: you know, you have physical changes that you're gonna have
- 6:37Speaker 2: to deal with, you know, once you do get out
- 6:39Speaker 2: of the hospital. Uh yeah, But I'll keep you posted
- 6:42Speaker 2: on that. Lake Dallas, y'all, hang in there, guys, Apple
- 6:45Speaker 2: has confirmed its Maps app. We'll start showing ads to
- 6:48Speaker 2: users starting this summer. So this is just one part
- 6:52Speaker 2: of a new service called Apple Business, which launches next month.
- 6:56Speaker 2: So these ads will look and work similar to the
- 6:58Speaker 2: ads you see in the apps, but businesses that want
- 7:01Speaker 2: to show ads and Apple Maps, they'll basically be able
- 7:04Speaker 2: to take your physical location and then pay to have
- 7:07Speaker 2: their business displayed at the top of the search results
- 7:10Speaker 2: come on. I know, so it'll be like so like
- 7:13Speaker 2: you get suggested friends and stuff, it'll be like suggested
- 7:15Speaker 2: places that'll be a section of the app.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Really, I know, Well don't they kind of do that
- 7:20Speaker 1: now with like sponsorships. I think if you search, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: don't think it's Apple though, I think it's someone else. Yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 1: it'll end up on the top, and sometimes you'll see
- 7:27Speaker 1: it pop up first. I don't like that.
- 7:29Speaker 2: At first. I was like, I don't like this either.
- 7:31Speaker 2: But sometimes if I'm searching, I'm going to look for
- 7:33Speaker 2: like a smoothie place or like whatever it is, and
- 7:35Speaker 2: maybe I do want you to help me out here
- 7:37Speaker 2: and give me, you know, you have a spot.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Like a lot of mom and pops stores and local
- 7:42Speaker 1: stores can't afford to do that. Yeah, so they get
- 7:45Speaker 1: passed up. Yeah, the big companies can afford to do
- 7:49Speaker 1: that and pop up first. But look for the mom
- 7:51Speaker 1: and pop shops because they deserve the business too.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they're struggling right now too, for sure. Guys, real quick,
- 7:56Speaker 2: this might be the easiest sleep tip ever if you
- 7:59Speaker 2: share her bed with your partner. So, sleep experts say,
- 8:03Speaker 2: having only one blanket might be hurting your sleep.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:07Speaker 2: So this is a new trend called the Scandinavian sleep method.
- 8:10Speaker 2: It says couples do use separate blankets for better rest
- 8:15Speaker 2: and less disruptions at night. Really, that makes a lot
- 8:18Speaker 2: of sense to me. I'm like, how did we not
- 8:19Speaker 2: think of this?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I mean, can't it you You're
- 8:22Speaker 1: the only one in all this is said, You're the
- 8:23Speaker 1: only one in a relationship here. Yeah, I know, Yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 1: we're okay, We're fine.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but that does wake me up when he's like
- 8:30Speaker 2: pulling the cover and then the dog is pulling the
- 8:33Speaker 2: cover and I'm over here, like you know, with a
- 8:35Speaker 2: little corner, trying to like tuck under the corner.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Well, when I was in a relationship, I always lost
- 8:40Speaker 1: that battle. Yeah, I'd always just go just take the blanket.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Then I was just shivering in the corner.
- 8:45Speaker 5: You know.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And then there was also times I think she hit
- 8:47Speaker 1: me when she said she was sleeping that she wasn't.
- 8:53Speaker 1: She's like, oh, I'm so sorry. Did I hit you?
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, right in the face. Oh, I don't know,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. I must have been. I don't think
- 8:59Speaker 1: she was sleep No, it was pulling the cover.
- 9:02Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Oh, the PTSD is real.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Anyway, Canada get your blanket? Okay, I'm Kandaslopez. Those are
- 9:09Speaker 2: your Texas top stories of killer fake news.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Let's start it right now. I'm gonna give you three stories.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You gotta tell me which one is the fake story
- 9:16Speaker 1: out of the three. It's just a fun way to
- 9:17Speaker 1: talk about some ridiculous stuff in the headlines, and there's
- 9:20Speaker 1: a lot of it lately. Are you ready, Candace? Who
- 9:23Speaker 1: you ready? I'm ready? First headline. Sheriff resigns after she
- 9:27Speaker 1: was found creating and selling foot fetish content. Sheriff resigns
- 9:33Speaker 1: after she was found creating and selling foot fetish content.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Headline Umber one headline number two. Circus performer from Finland
- 9:41Speaker 1: sets record for heaviest vehicle pulled by nipples come on circus.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Performer from Finland sets record for heaviest vehicle pulled by nipples.
- 9:56Speaker 1: All right, headline number three, Looking for a new workout,
- 10:00Speaker 1: try rat yoga. What looking for a new workout? Try
- 10:06Speaker 1: rat yoga?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Rat yoga?
- 10:09Speaker 1: Three headlines right there? You gotta tell me which one
- 10:13Speaker 1: you think is fake? Candace, do you want to go first?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Would you like to pass to Pooh?
- 10:17Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna go first today. Why don't you
- 10:20Speaker 2: go and lock me in for that last story? The
- 10:22Speaker 2: rat yoga last story is no way anyone's doing a
- 10:25Speaker 2: rat yoga boats yes, then yoga yoga yoga.
- 10:30Speaker 1: We've talked about snake yoga. I almost said snack yoga. Oh,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I like that sounds good.
- 10:35Speaker 8: Let's go.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So you think that's fake? All right, let's lock it in.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Locked in, all right, Producer Pooh, which one do you
- 10:42Speaker 1: think is fake? Lock me in for that second story? Okay,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I don't think that. We just had another story like
- 10:51Speaker 1: this where somebody pulled some of this private party, right.
- 10:54Speaker 2: That's why I didn't pick that second story.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Well, you know what, Cannis, lock me in? You may oh?
- 10:59Speaker 1: I didn't lock you in? Yeah? Let me Oh, my
- 11:01Speaker 1: bad there you go. You're locked in. Now you can
- 11:03Speaker 1: officially lose. Channa Slopez is the winner today. The fake story.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Looking for new workout, try rat yoga? No, no thanks,
- 11:17Speaker 1: it's not real, although I'm sure if you look hard
- 11:19Speaker 1: enough you could find somebody doing it. There is snake yoga. Really,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I have seen snake yoga. I mean, there's go yoga,
- 11:26Speaker 1: there's everything. I don't want.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Snakes yoga.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Pubaby yoga makes sense. We did that one time. That
- 11:30Speaker 1: was fun. But really, who's out here doing snake yoga.
- 11:34Speaker 1: That's a real thing. No, I don't want that now
- 11:37Speaker 1: all right, let's get to the real stories and find
- 11:39Speaker 1: out about it. Customer, I mean circus performer from Finland
- 11:43Speaker 1: sets record for heaviest vehicle pulled by the nipples.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Why are we doing this?
- 11:46Speaker 1: A finished circus performer named as the Baron has set
- 11:50Speaker 1: a new Guinness World Record for the heaviest vehicle pulled
- 11:53Speaker 1: using his nipple piercings. Oh, hauling a carriage? Wayne? Are
- 11:56Speaker 1: you ready for this?
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Two thousan eighty four pounds. He did it on a
- 12:02Speaker 1: German TV show. Yep, and yeah he holds the world record.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Now he has the world's strongest nipples The feature top
- 12:11Speaker 1: the previous record, which was two thy and seventy nine
- 12:14Speaker 1: pounds pulled by Pou's ex girlfriend O Man tough, though,
- 12:25Speaker 1: how do you do that?
- 12:26Speaker 2: I'm just no idea. That's that's awful.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm grabbing mine right now.
- 12:30Speaker 2: No, I can't think of it.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The mind started hurting. Didn't you used to have your
- 12:34Speaker 1: nipples pierce?
- 12:35Speaker 5: Poo?
- 12:35Speaker 1: No? Wait, you didn't know? Are you sure? I never
- 12:39Speaker 1: did that? Just one, just one is, Wow, you had
- 12:46Speaker 1: something pierce, which is bad enough. I almost rather have
- 12:51Speaker 1: your nipples, but.
- 12:52Speaker 2: You never see it.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You tongue? Yes, I did until I started laughing. No yet,
- 12:58Speaker 1: which is all the time. So you'd laugh and we'd
- 13:01Speaker 1: see a flash in there. And then one day I
- 13:03Speaker 1: finally was like, is your tongue pierced? Yeah? He was,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and he said yeah, and I said, ew, which it's
- 13:10Speaker 1: not gross, I guess on anyone else. Yeah, But for
- 13:13Speaker 1: whatever reason, I just didn't want to experience pooh with
- 13:16Speaker 1: a pierced tongue.
- 13:17Speaker 5: No.
- 13:18Speaker 1: It kind of weirded you out too, gay?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 13:22Speaker 1: The next story, a sheriff was well, she resigned because
- 13:25Speaker 1: she was selling pictures foot fetish pictures. Yeah, I guess.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Her name was Brandy Tenlin. She was in Palm County
- 13:33Speaker 1: and she served more than twenty years with this agency.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Ran a subscription account focused on foot related content, earned
- 13:41Speaker 1: about six thousand dollars over sixteen months, which I felt
- 13:45Speaker 1: like she should have got more.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it seems kind of low.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems kind of low. What kind of got
- 13:51Speaker 1: The probe also found when they started looking at stuff
- 13:54Speaker 1: that she was the reason why I caused the problem
- 13:56Speaker 1: is because she was doing some of this inner uniform
- 14:00Speaker 1: so you can't do that. And then they found some
- 14:02Speaker 1: other activity that that just should have been happening once
- 14:04Speaker 1: they started diving into it. So she just said, I'm
- 14:06Speaker 1: going to resign and go ahead and just and now
- 14:09Speaker 1: she's got to figure it out, because if you're making
- 14:11Speaker 1: so much money doing foot fetish content, you're like whatever,
- 14:13Speaker 1: But you're making six thousand dollars sixteen.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Months high on that.
- 14:18Speaker 1: We had a girl call up that was making six
- 14:19Speaker 1: thousand dollars a month. Yeah, doing foot fetish cont some
- 14:23Speaker 1: people make more.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah supposedly, what do you mean? Well, I just don't know.
- 14:27Speaker 2: They say that, but are they really I just I
- 14:29Speaker 2: don't know. Show me the proof.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that. I think people are though, you know, really,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I mean the way people are making money on OnlyFans
- 14:35Speaker 1: right now, yeah, is borderline disgusting. Yeah, because we have
- 14:40Speaker 1: teachers out here working so hard and people working so hard,
- 14:43Speaker 1: and then you see that the average creator on OnlyFans
- 14:46Speaker 1: is making way plus.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Six figures to step in peanut butter or whatever. It's weird.
- 14:54Speaker 1: It is weird, but give me the peanut butter because
- 14:57Speaker 1: I'll do it right. Ask me this on into I'm like, oh,
- 15:00Speaker 1: we got to talk about it because it's such a
- 15:02Speaker 1: good question. They said, what little thing tells you a
- 15:06Speaker 1: lot about someone? What little thing tells you a lot
- 15:09Speaker 1: about someone? It's makes one of two point nine a
- 15:11Speaker 1: bail at a kid? Candice Lopez pretty sure? Who is here?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Don't forget Harry Styles. You want to trip on us,
- 15:17Speaker 1: make it happen. We'll do it on the forties every hour,
- 15:19Speaker 1: so another shot to wait in it coming up at
- 15:20Speaker 1: seven forty. So I'm thinking, I'm like, that's a good question,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and it came to me right away. I got mine.
- 15:25Speaker 1: If you got one at Billy on the radio on Instagram.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Mine right away was you know how I could tell
- 15:30Speaker 1: a lot about someone and who they are and how
- 15:33Speaker 1: they act and how just crazy they are. Right, it's
- 15:37Speaker 1: the person who never has their cell phone charged that
- 15:41Speaker 1: I don't trust.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Okay, they're not good at preparation.
- 15:45Speaker 1: It tells me a head so much about someone and
- 15:49Speaker 1: their life and how well they have it together, how
- 15:52Speaker 1: charged their cell phone is.
- 15:54Speaker 2: That's interesting because today I made sure to grab my
- 15:57Speaker 2: charger from the house. I don't know, we have a
- 15:59Speaker 2: long day at work, and I was just like, I
- 16:00Speaker 2: better grab my charger, see you know?
- 16:03Speaker 1: And why because you're prepared?
- 16:05Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Why because you're always on top of things and you're
- 16:08Speaker 1: thinking ahead, right like pooh, lawless, No my phone stays charged. No,
- 16:15Speaker 1: if we're out and we're not at work, okay, if
- 16:17Speaker 1: there's a good chance it's always running low. That drives
- 16:22Speaker 1: me crazy. Like people who start their day and they're like,
- 16:26Speaker 1: oh man, what percent of you at Can I use
- 16:28Speaker 1: the charger? And I'm like, what do you mean?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Don't you charge your phone all night overnight? R?
- 16:33Speaker 9: No?
- 16:33Speaker 1: What are you doing? I have so many questions. So
- 16:35Speaker 1: that's my little things.
- 16:37Speaker 2: It's your shoes. I can tell a lot about you
- 16:39Speaker 2: by your shoes. Mike If you're someone who wears sandals,
- 16:43Speaker 2: you're you know, easy going, you're you got like an
- 16:46Speaker 2: airy personality. If you have worn out shoes, then you're
- 16:49Speaker 2: down to commit, right because you've committed to that pair
- 16:52Speaker 2: of shoes for a while. Really yeah, stuff like that.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Okay, I'm that's interesting to me because I understand where
- 16:58Speaker 1: you're coming from. Yeah, Like if I look at somebody's
- 17:01Speaker 1: shoes and I go, oh, they're beat up there, worn out,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I don't necessarily think commitment.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Oh see I do. Yeah, you're committed to those shoes
- 17:08Speaker 2: for a long time.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Clean them shoes up. I do agree, though, if somebody's
- 17:12Speaker 1: wearing sandals, they're whimsy.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Okay, I have sandals on today, so I'm a little
- 17:15Speaker 2: whimsy today. But like bright shoes. You're an extrovert, you
- 17:21Speaker 2: have to be.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You want attention. Oh yeah, poo. So when I got
- 17:25Speaker 1: those lucas, Yeah, you're an extrovert, right, pink lucas? Yeah, yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 1: you want attention?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Oh wow? Yeah? Or you're like look at my feet
- 17:33Speaker 2: and nothing else.
- 17:36Speaker 1: All right, that's a good one. What about you eye contact?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Okay, okay contact?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, because the past.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Few days I went on, they really didn't pay attention,
- 17:47Speaker 6: you know, they look away and stuff.
- 17:49Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, yeah, well yeah, I don't know.
- 17:52Speaker 1: On a first date, I can understand because then it
- 17:54Speaker 1: shows that maybe somebody's a little bit nervous or whatever.
- 17:57Speaker 1: But if somebody never makes eye contact with you, yes,
- 18:00Speaker 1: you can't trust that person. You can't. You can't if
- 18:03Speaker 1: they never look at you, never look at you, right,
- 18:05Speaker 1: why you're not looking at them?
- 18:06Speaker 2: I feel like that happens to me a lot, and
- 18:08Speaker 2: I can't tell if it's just because I'm shortly, Oh
- 18:11Speaker 2: what the deal is?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Also, though, don't look at me for too long? Yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 9: No.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I took a class when I was working for Disney
- 18:18Speaker 2: and they put us in this class and I was like,
- 18:20Speaker 2: it was just talking about all sorts of different strategies
- 18:23Speaker 2: and it's like, yeah, make eye contact with one if
- 18:25Speaker 2: you're in a room of people, make eye contact with
- 18:27Speaker 2: one person for like three seconds, move to the other person,
- 18:30Speaker 2: hold for three seconds. Don't like dart around really quick.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Right then you look what I mean, then you look
- 18:34Speaker 1: snaky if you're just looking. If you're like, hey, they're
- 18:39Speaker 1: looking at everything, mean.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but like hold for like two three seconds,
- 18:43Speaker 2: move on and then also slow your process down to
- 18:46Speaker 2: where you're focused.
- 18:47Speaker 1: But if you're locked in too much, then it becomes creepy.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yeah, then I'm the one looking away, looking.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Away, then I'm like Or if you're a close talker,
- 18:54Speaker 1: oh okay, that's a good one. Candas, Oh I got
- 18:56Speaker 1: some coming in and you're oh, these are good at
- 18:59Speaker 1: Billy on the radio, or you could call me if
- 19:00Speaker 1: you got one eight three three seven eight seven one
- 19:02Speaker 1: o two nine. What's a little something that tells you
- 19:05Speaker 1: a lot about someone? Jason and Elis said what they
- 19:09Speaker 1: do at a four way stop sign?
- 19:12Speaker 10: Oh?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah, right is right? And what do you do? Do
- 19:19Speaker 1: you typically go? Okay? Well, to me, it would be
- 19:22Speaker 1: like whoever pulled up to the right side of me.
- 19:25Speaker 2: First, right, that's the law.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Right, that's the law, and I follow the law. But
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm also the guy who's like, you just go ahead
- 19:32Speaker 1: and go first, Okay, But I don't want to be
- 19:34Speaker 1: in a standoff if you tell me to go, I'm
- 19:36Speaker 1: never going to go. If we said go at the
- 19:37Speaker 1: same time, I'm say you know, you go, and then
- 19:40Speaker 1: we'll sit there all day if you don't go, because
- 19:42Speaker 1: I'm determined that you're going.
- 19:43Speaker 3: To go first.
- 19:45Speaker 2: To go boop stop go right.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that shows a lot about you.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I do the California role. Yeah.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Mandy and Grand Prairie. Oh, this is a good one.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It's so candae. How did they act at the grocery store?
- 20:01Speaker 5: Oh?
- 20:01Speaker 2: My god? Yeah, how do I act?
- 20:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I think there is some etiquette though
- 20:07Speaker 1: at a grocery store, Like are you the guy that
- 20:09Speaker 1: blocks the middle aisle with the cart? No, who is
- 20:12Speaker 1: just oblivious that anybody else is in the store.
- 20:14Speaker 3: No.
- 20:15Speaker 1: But I was.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Blocking the cheese seeds yesterday at the grocery store because
- 20:17Speaker 2: I was looking for oat milk and this, and the
- 20:19Speaker 2: guy kept telling her it's right there where she's standing,
- 20:21Speaker 2: and she's like, that's milk, And I didn't realize I
- 20:23Speaker 2: was blocking the cheeseeds for her.
- 20:25Speaker 1: You weren't in the middle of a dial, No, I
- 20:26Speaker 1: was in the corner. Also, do you take your cart back?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Are you that person who doesn't? Well, a lot of
- 20:30Speaker 1: people don't. It's lawless out here. Okay, a couple more. Oh,
- 20:33Speaker 1: these are so good, Gina and Plano. This is the
- 20:37Speaker 1: best one yet. She said, you could tell everything about
- 20:40Speaker 1: someone if they have one long pinky nail.
- 20:43Speaker 6: Oh, yes, never trust the person with long pinky nail.
- 20:51Speaker 1: That's a tool to Sandra and Dallas said if they
- 20:54Speaker 1: litter and tarn. Tarren said, never trust someone with bumper stickers.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Yeah, six, they're very expressive.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You have a bumper sticker. I do, Oh, I do.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I forgot about it. He just said, never trust somebody.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I forgot about it. Yeah, I gotta get it. Tell
- 21:16Speaker 1: what it says Texas Women's Universe.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Why is the previous.
- 21:26Speaker 1: The previous owner's car? Who doesn't take that match and
- 21:29Speaker 1: pull it up to a car and you look and
- 21:31Speaker 1: it's twu And you look next and it's pooh.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Jesus tough stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 21:39Speaker 3: Kid in the morning only.
- 21:40Speaker 7: On the New Mixed one or two point nine.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Well do you have a song this morning? Thank you
- 21:45Speaker 1: for that. We got Dirty Little Secret coming up at
- 21:46Speaker 1: seven thirty and right after that a chance to see
- 21:49Speaker 1: Harry Styles, a trip on us went a little vacation.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Candice Slow Paz, what's up.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Well, we're getting into the hottest part of the week
- 21:56Speaker 2: starting today before we cool down into the weekend, partly Claudie.
- 21:59Speaker 2: With the high of the upper eighties today, some spots
- 22:01Speaker 2: could hit ninety. I'm not ready for ninety again.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it's warm. Yeah, I don't know. I
- 22:07Speaker 1: like it better than fifties and sixties, so I do.
- 22:10Speaker 1: As long as it's like right around the eighties is
- 22:12Speaker 1: my range where I like it.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Okay, if it it's too arranged, then right now we're
- 22:16Speaker 2: in my range. Yeah, good, all right, sixty four degrees
- 22:19Speaker 2: right now, guys. There was a huge loss in court
- 22:22Speaker 2: yesterday for Meta. They're gonna have to pay three hundred
- 22:24Speaker 2: and seventy five million dollars for violating New Mexico law
- 22:28Speaker 2: in a child exploitation case. So the state accused Meta
- 22:33Speaker 2: of not keeping kids safe from predators when using apps
- 22:36Speaker 2: like Instagram and Facebook. The attorney general there sued Meta
- 22:39Speaker 2: after they did an undercover operation, so they basically created
- 22:43Speaker 2: a fake social media profile. It was of a thirteen
- 22:47Speaker 2: year old girl. They said the account was inundated with
- 22:51Speaker 2: images and targeted solicitations. Meta is denying these allegations and
- 22:56Speaker 2: says they will appeal. But the state says this is
- 22:58Speaker 2: a historic win and and that it's clear metaput profits
- 23:01Speaker 2: over kids safety, that their executives and knew their products
- 23:06Speaker 2: were harmful, that they disregarded warnings from even their own
- 23:09Speaker 2: employees and lied to the public about what they knew.
- 23:13Speaker 2: They also have a suit against Snap too, which is
- 23:15Speaker 2: in its early stages. But yeah, I think we're going
- 23:18Speaker 2: to see a lot more cases like this.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You know, we got to protect our kids.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:22Speaker 1: It's also scary too that you see that Instagram is
- 23:26Speaker 1: unencrypting their messages, so now basically your messages, your DMS
- 23:31Speaker 1: won't be private anymore.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Oh wow. See I think they did that with Facebook
- 23:34Speaker 2: Messenger too, or they said we're going to encrypt them,
- 23:36Speaker 2: but then you couldn't tell, you know, what activity was
- 23:39Speaker 2: actually happening.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so if they want to look at your messages
- 23:41Speaker 1: now they totally can. Wow. Yeah Facebook or.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Instrument Instagram Okay, wow awesome.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I feel like they could if they wanted to anyway.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes I'm dming on there and I'm like, huh,
- 23:52Speaker 2: I don't know where's this going, you know what I mean.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Not that I'm saying more than I would via text,
- 23:57Speaker 2: but sometimes those topics that you're talking about on social
- 24:00Speaker 2: media are different than what you would talk about on
- 24:02Speaker 2: your text because we're sharing the content.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah, interesting guys, Easter spending is expected to hit almost
- 24:09Speaker 2: twenty five billion dollars this year. That makes the average
- 24:13Speaker 2: around one hundred and ninety five dollars per person. Yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 2: it seems like people are really leaning into tradition with
- 24:19Speaker 2: big meals, family visits, of course, egg hunts, candy, food,
- 24:23Speaker 2: and gifts. It's like, we just really want to celebrate.
- 24:25Speaker 2: We love holidays.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I mean, now I get it, but it's so expensive.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Like what do you do with the kids. Does the
- 24:30Speaker 1: Easter Bunny come?
- 24:31Speaker 2: I know when I was a caster, bunny comes.
- 24:33Speaker 1: The Easter Bunny would come, but sometimes maybe he doesn't
- 24:36Speaker 1: come to certain houses.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Now they come to our house. There was also this
- 24:39Speaker 2: new survey by the way that said two thirds of
- 24:42Speaker 2: adults think they deserve Easter baskets just as much as kids.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Come on, yeah, so this is like remember adult a ween,
- 24:50Speaker 2: the trend where adults were like, we deserve our own
- 24:52Speaker 2: Halloween night guilt free. Well it's like that for Easter though.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Oh. You know what's funny is I dated a girl
- 24:57Speaker 1: one time, this was way back in the day, who
- 24:58Speaker 1: got upset with me because I didn't get her an
- 25:00Speaker 1: Easter basket really did And I was like, what, No,
- 25:04Speaker 1: you just didn't even get me an Easter basket. And
- 25:07Speaker 1: I was like, no, because you're grown up.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, weren't you the one who was telling
- 25:13Speaker 2: me that people are putting together Easter lists?
- 25:15Speaker 1: And now, yes, yes, I saw a parent online that
- 25:19Speaker 1: was like, my kid's getting his Easter list ready, now
- 25:22Speaker 1: it's Easter list.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I've never heard of what's on there? Like you you
- 25:25Speaker 2: say what candies you want or what I guess.
- 25:27Speaker 1: You know, my toys and gifts And it was like, oh,
- 25:30Speaker 1: I was like, what is happening.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we're just elevating every everything these days,
- 25:35Speaker 2: you know, and I'll see it on Instagram, balloon arches
- 25:37Speaker 2: and things for Easter. It's like, yeah, we're just taking everything.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Just tell us now if you expect an Easter basket.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Yeah please, I do know now that I know this time.
- 25:45Speaker 2: And by the way, I love Reese's Eggs. So if
- 25:47Speaker 2: you get okay, perfect, I got some of those. Thanks guys,
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm Cando slow Pez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 25:54Speaker 9: Get off your com mess you'll feel better.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Welcome to The Dirty Little Secret on Mix one two
- 25:59Speaker 1: nine and good morning to Bailey the Kid can slow
- 26:01Speaker 1: Pas is here. Producer who is here and your secrets?
- 26:04Speaker 1: Get them? Eight three three seven eight seven one o
- 26:06Speaker 1: two nine A big secret, little secret. I don't care
- 26:08Speaker 1: to no judgment zone. Maybe we judge a little bit,
- 26:10Speaker 1: but in a good way. Yeah, okay for the for
- 26:13Speaker 1: the most part, we're just overthinking a little exactly, and
- 26:15Speaker 1: a chance to see Harry Styles. We got that trip
- 26:17Speaker 1: coming up next right after Dirty Little Secret. We're doing
- 26:20Speaker 1: that all day, so get ready. How are you?
- 26:22Speaker 10: I'm great, How are you?
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm feeling good. I'm feeling dirty. What's your dirty little secret? Spicy? Today?
- 26:30Speaker 9: I feel a.
- 26:31Speaker 10: Little dirty and horrible, ready to say so loud, but
- 26:35Speaker 10: don't judge me. I've been divorced for about three years now,
- 26:38Speaker 10: and honestly, I haven't really been out at all, like
- 26:41Speaker 10: not at all, And the whole life's been working at home,
- 26:44Speaker 10: kids sleep, repeat, you know, on that full cycle. And
- 26:47Speaker 10: the kids are off the college now and I finally
- 26:49Speaker 10: hit a point where I just like need to get out. Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 10: so went. I went to this barn Frisco with a
- 26:55Speaker 10: couple of girlfriends and we had a lot of fun
- 26:58Speaker 10: and everything. But while I'm there, I run into someone
- 27:02Speaker 10: I never expected to see, and it was my daughter's
- 27:04Speaker 10: old high school friend.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Your daughter's old high school friend.
- 27:09Speaker 8: Yeah, so like one.
- 27:10Speaker 10: Of the kids used to come over after football games,
- 27:13Speaker 10: and like one of the boys who would raid my
- 27:15Speaker 10: fridge and call me miss and the kids.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'll bleep your name out just in case I don't.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Want to sleep your name out.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Okay, So this was a This was a guy that
- 27:26Speaker 1: a kid that you knew him.
- 27:28Speaker 8: He was around yeah, yeah, but he's not kidding.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Where is this going?
- 27:32Speaker 10: He was older and grown. Well, he recognizes me instantly
- 27:35Speaker 10: and I barely recognized him. And at first I thought
- 27:37Speaker 10: he was just being polite and like making small talks.
- 27:40Speaker 10: It wasn't. He was flirting, like clearly flirted. He was persistent,
- 27:46Speaker 10: like complimenting me and leaning in and buying me a drink.
- 27:50Speaker 10: I swear you, I rose like a deer in headlight.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Okay, because it's a different type situation.
- 28:00Speaker 10: Well, and it's been a long time, but like, you know, honestly,
- 28:03Speaker 10: it was like embarrassingly good to be noticed again. And
- 28:06Speaker 10: I haven't been hit on him so long, and I
- 28:08Speaker 10: forgot what it feels like to have somebody look at
- 28:10Speaker 10: you like that, like you're attractive, you know. Oh, and yeah,
- 28:14Speaker 10: so I didn't hate it, not at all.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to just go ahead, hold on, let
- 28:22Speaker 1: me just cut to this right now because I gotta
- 28:24Speaker 1: know same. Did you take him back to your pantry?
- 28:32Speaker 2: It's not but it's a number, dad, Okay, you got
- 28:35Speaker 2: his number.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Oh, you took his number?
- 28:37Speaker 8: I did?
- 28:38Speaker 3: Oh?
- 28:40Speaker 1: I feel about this.
- 28:42Speaker 8: I don't know what to do.
- 28:44Speaker 1: By the way, this would be totally different if it
- 28:46Speaker 1: was reversed. If this was a guy like.
- 28:49Speaker 2: My son, wouldn't like it.
- 28:50Speaker 1: No, I'm not saying, and you're I appreciate your honesty,
- 28:54Speaker 1: but you know you're coming out of a divorce. Well
- 28:56Speaker 1: you've been divorced for a little while, but you're getting
- 28:57Speaker 1: back into it. And you sound young. You're a cougar.
- 29:00Speaker 1: You are a full blown cougar. Let's just say it. Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 1: right now, right now, it's the cougars are shining. It's
- 29:08Speaker 1: their time. It's a cougar era right.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Now, is it?
- 29:11Speaker 1: You look online? All these younger guys are going after cougars.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Cougar's everywhere. Go to the shops, go to the Legacy West,
- 29:19Speaker 1: or go to the Star. There's cougars everywhere. They're posted
- 29:23Speaker 1: up goods. Wow, and they're beautiful.
- 29:26Speaker 10: Yeah, we just take care of ourselves.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You do know, it's not like back in the day.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Like back in the day, you know the older women were,
- 29:33Speaker 1: they looked older. Nowadays you can't tell what's going on.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I can't tell.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You can't tell anybody's age.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Are you gonna call them? What's the what's the deal?
- 29:41Speaker 10: Well, that's the thing, like do I let them take
- 29:43Speaker 10: me out? So I tell my daughter like it's just
- 29:45Speaker 10: something you need to shut down completely and just very deep,
- 29:48Speaker 10: deep deep, like it never happens.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, no, girl, I'm gonna know. I want to know
- 29:56Speaker 1: cannases pursue.
- 29:57Speaker 2: You know your daughter well enough, I would think to
- 30:00Speaker 2: know her thoughts on this, So you got to go
- 30:02Speaker 2: with that. But my guess is she's probably like and
- 30:05Speaker 2: who knows, maybe she had a thing for him, and
- 30:07Speaker 2: then that's extra weird.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah, over to make some cookies, okay.
- 30:15Speaker 8: Goods back in the day.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Well yeah, but let's be real, like where's it going
- 30:23Speaker 1: to go? If you want to just go out and
- 30:24Speaker 1: have a good time, then I'm not going to be nowhere.
- 30:28Speaker 1: See yeah, see that if you you know what, call
- 30:31Speaker 1: the guy.
- 30:33Speaker 9: Guy.
- 30:34Speaker 1: She's divorced. Now she should be able to enjoy herself.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Let this guy live.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's one of her daughter's old friends. If
- 30:39Speaker 2: you're going to pursue it, I think you have to
- 30:41Speaker 2: talk to your daughter.
- 30:42Speaker 1: No, no, her daughter's college.
- 30:45Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 30:47Speaker 2: And she's like, yeah, go for it, mom.
- 30:49Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 30:49Speaker 2: I know moms and daughters who are cool like that.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I ain't tell them. No, let us know what
- 30:55Speaker 1: happens this. This guy is living a lot of men's fantasy,
- 30:57Speaker 1: so I will say, I mean, let's just be real.
- 31:00Speaker 1: There's usually every guy that I know had a childhood
- 31:03Speaker 1: crush when it came to like a cougar crush. I
- 31:06Speaker 1: have cougar crushes right now. Martha Stewart, Yeah, take care
- 31:11Speaker 1: of a woman a cougar and Martha Stewart is a oh,
- 31:14Speaker 1: she's a what.
- 31:15Speaker 2: I don't know? What's after?
- 31:16Speaker 8: Cougar?
- 31:17Speaker 1: An elk Thunder Cat Thundercat Thundercata, thank you so much.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Look at you. You still got it. That's at least
- 31:27Speaker 1: you've got a confidence boost it. No matter what happens,
- 31:30Speaker 1: you left there going look at me, yes.
- 31:32Speaker 8: Exactly all right.
- 31:33Speaker 2: We need an update, though, my god, Thunder cat.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Thunder, What's after the Cougar.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I have no idea. No, it's got to be in
- 31:43Speaker 2: the cat family.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's gonna be like a puma.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Pumas are younger though, right I don't know.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I'm thinking. I'm not thinking straight right now.
- 31:51Speaker 2: No, let's go with Thundercat.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I'm all worked up.
- 31:54Speaker 3: He's court. He gets settled here with Billy the Kid
- 31:59Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 32:00Speaker 1: All right, for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez. Here she is.
- 32:06Speaker 1: It's a mix one O two point nine ability kid.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Candas is here, producer who is here? Harry Style's trip
- 32:10Speaker 1: up for grabs, don't forget we do it all day,
- 32:12Speaker 1: so another shot to win at eight forty, so on
- 32:15Speaker 1: the forties every hour, Candas, are you ready for today's case? Okay, Now,
- 32:19Speaker 1: if you have a problem, she could solve it at
- 32:21Speaker 1: Candas on air, at Candas on air, on Instagram, cent
- 32:23Speaker 1: or something whatever it is. Okay, Now, this is a
- 32:25Speaker 1: good one from a guy. Usually we get women right
- 32:27Speaker 1: in with their issues, but hey, this is an all opportunity,
- 32:30Speaker 1: all whatever show.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah alive, That's what I was trying to say.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I hope you all don't mind talking about this because
- 32:37Speaker 1: it's usually women with their stuff. But I need to
- 32:39Speaker 1: take this woman to candas court. I recently met this
- 32:42Speaker 1: person and invited her to go to a concert, thinking
- 32:44Speaker 1: it would be the show and a few drinks. Well,
- 32:47Speaker 1: that all changed when she was an hour late to
- 32:50Speaker 1: the concert that was supposed to start at seven thirty pm.
- 32:54Speaker 1: She apologized and bought me a drink, but then after
- 32:58Speaker 1: the show, which was about an hour late, I told
- 33:01Speaker 1: her I had to go because I had a pretty
- 33:02Speaker 1: long drive home. She then started talking about how she
- 33:06Speaker 1: was hungry and expected that we would go to dinner
- 33:10Speaker 1: after which I had not planned.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I told her we could reschedule for a longer second
- 33:16Speaker 1: dinner date, and she shot me down and said, no,
- 33:21Speaker 1: there will be no second date. What I don't understand
- 33:24Speaker 1: what I did wrong. I think it was the fact
- 33:26Speaker 1: that I didn't include dinner after the concert. But am
- 33:31Speaker 1: I taking this the wrong way? Am I overreacting? What happened?
- 33:35Speaker 1: What went wrong? WHOA, this is a good one?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 33:39Speaker 1: Canus your initial thoughts on this?
- 33:40Speaker 2: I mean, you guys were going to a show, Like,
- 33:43Speaker 2: wouldn't we talk about if we were going to dinner
- 33:46Speaker 2: after the show or if we were interested in things
- 33:48Speaker 2: are going really well, then we would try to see,
- 33:50Speaker 2: is there more time for dinner? Are we hanging out longer?
- 33:53Speaker 2: And that doesn't seem like that's the case. But you
- 33:54Speaker 2: were an hour late, first of all, so he's probably
- 33:58Speaker 2: kind of like, what the heck already, I'm.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Kind of sticking up for the woman on this one.
- 34:03Speaker 1: And I say that because I feel like, if I'm
- 34:06Speaker 1: assuming he asked her out, it sounds like if he
- 34:09Speaker 1: asked her out, and like most people are working nine
- 34:11Speaker 1: to five. If I ask a girl out and I
- 34:15Speaker 1: have plans at seven thirty and I know she's going
- 34:17Speaker 1: to be busy, I try to make sure food is involved, okay,
- 34:21Speaker 1: because when is she.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Going to eat well at the concert?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Right? Well? Right, but it doesn't sound like they did right.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Well it was in time?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Well yeah, But also being an hour late is awful. Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 1: it's not acceptable, but it happens.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's first of all, this is I'm trying to
- 34:38Speaker 2: think of when I've ever been an hour late, well.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Like fifteen for a day, No, an hour. But I'm
- 34:43Speaker 1: telling you, imagine I don't know where this concert was,
- 34:47Speaker 1: but you imagine trying to leave and go to American
- 34:49Speaker 1: Airlines Center at six pm. Yeah, and you're coming from Frisco.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Sometimes things happen. I've been absolutely forty five minutes late
- 34:57Speaker 1: because the highway, the tollways block, there's an accident and
- 35:00Speaker 1: you just get stuck and there's nothing you can do
- 35:02Speaker 1: about it.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Right, But she's mad that there's no dinner after all.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Take you hungry? Yeah, shelda ate she was an hour late.
- 35:12Speaker 1: She probably could have stalked through the drops somewhere.
- 35:14Speaker 2: He didn't meet her expectations. Guess in sid any expectations.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Well, you could look at this a couple of ways.
- 35:19Speaker 1: You could look at it like that, or you could
- 35:20Speaker 1: look at it like, hey, at least she wanted to
- 35:22Speaker 1: hang out longer.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Yeah, if you was.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Really into her. If I'm really into somebody, I'm gonna
- 35:28Speaker 1: make exceptions when it comes to no sleep and a
- 35:31Speaker 1: long drive, I'm gonna be like, yeah, let's go grab
- 35:33Speaker 1: a drink of some food. That'd be great. Yeah, and
- 35:35Speaker 1: I'll be tired tomorrow, but it'll be worth it because
- 35:38Speaker 1: I'm into you.
- 35:39Speaker 8: Right.
- 35:39Speaker 2: But he's saying I'm down for a second dinner date.
- 35:42Speaker 2: You know we can reschedule. He's saying I'm down to
- 35:44Speaker 2: meet up again too.
- 35:45Speaker 6: Yeah, you shot me down just because I won't take
- 35:48Speaker 6: your hungry.
- 35:50Speaker 2: We can't eat right now. I mean, I've been angry before.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I know how frustrating it is. But like to shoot
- 35:55Speaker 2: him down because he's not going to eat with you
- 35:57Speaker 2: right now when you want to eat.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Maybe that was the reason why. Yeah, doesn't say specifically
- 36:02Speaker 1: that's the reason. Why would you be Would you expect
- 36:05Speaker 1: a dinner after a concert?
- 36:07Speaker 2: No?
- 36:07Speaker 1: No, either would I. But would you expect the guy
- 36:10Speaker 1: to get you something to eat while you're at the concert?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you definitely expect him to be like, hey, you know,
- 36:15Speaker 2: do you want a hot dog?
- 36:18Speaker 1: She didn't speak up. I'm not gonna know. No, no, no, pooh.
- 36:22Speaker 1: See this, we're both single. This is part of the
- 36:25Speaker 1: reason why you're single. Though.
- 36:26Speaker 6: If we're at a console having a good time and
- 36:28Speaker 6: I get you some drinks, I expect.
- 36:29Speaker 1: You to be like, no, she shouldn't have to speak up.
- 36:32Speaker 1: You should take the initiative.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Decent, she was so late, sorry, go ahead.
- 36:36Speaker 1: She should have then you should take the initiative. Okay,
- 36:39Speaker 1: we like drinks. If you want to be you want
- 36:41Speaker 1: a pretzel or something?
- 36:42Speaker 2: No, but the show's probably already started. She's so late.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Now he's going to miss part of the show to
- 36:47Speaker 2: go grab her a vel because she was late.
- 36:49Speaker 1: No, he's gonna just grab something to have it in
- 36:51Speaker 1: case she wants to eat. Oh crazy, nobody that thoughtful.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Dog.
- 36:55Speaker 1: I ain't doing that. I am.
- 36:57Speaker 6: So I'm gonna be like, you're an hour late. Go ahead,
- 37:00Speaker 6: you go sit in our seats holding down. I'm gonna
- 37:02Speaker 6: sit in this long concession staying line. Get us something
- 37:05Speaker 6: to drink and to eat. No, I'm not doing all that. Yes,
- 37:08Speaker 6: and yeah, I'm already I'm already on second because you're late.
- 37:11Speaker 1: If you ask most women on a first date, they're
- 37:14Speaker 1: not going to say they're hungry. Let's be real. I am.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 37:22Speaker 1: When back in the day, there's no way you would
- 37:24Speaker 1: have Yeah, I know you're I know you.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I would rather have a drink though, d n I know,
- 37:32Speaker 2: but but it would be nice if the guy just
- 37:34Speaker 2: went and got something and said, hey, I got this
- 37:35Speaker 2: just in case you wanted to snack on it with me.
- 37:38Speaker 2: But if I was an hour late and it was
- 37:39Speaker 2: just sitting there getting crusty and cold.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You get it when she gets there.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how the communication was on why
- 37:45Speaker 2: she was late or like between that time, like, did
- 37:48Speaker 2: she give him a heads up? Hey, I'm an hour late,
- 37:51Speaker 2: I'm five minutes out.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't matter what I think anyway, canus. It's
- 37:54Speaker 1: all about you. I love that You're just like I
- 37:55Speaker 1: just want to drink. Yeah that's old, kayez I heard
- 38:00Speaker 1: it to seeing Candas.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Yeah, this lady's guilty of being a mil ticket Miranda. Oh,
- 38:06Speaker 2: I think she was just trying to eat when she
- 38:07Speaker 2: wants to eat, eat. This is a red flag.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I thought I was sticking.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Up for her, but yeah, you can, but I'm not.
- 38:17Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what I think, Candas. She is guilty
- 38:19Speaker 1: of bena a mil ticket.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Miranda.
- 38:22Speaker 3: This is tough stories on the Tents with Billy's the
- 38:25Speaker 3: Kid in.
- 38:25Speaker 7: The morning only on the New Mix one O two
- 38:28Speaker 7: point nine.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I know you want to see Harry Styles in New
- 38:31Speaker 1: York City. Let's make it happen. We're giving away this trip, right,
- 38:34Speaker 1: I mean, so many chances to win. So eight forty
- 38:36Speaker 1: is your next shot, eight forty and we do it
- 38:38Speaker 1: on the forties every hour, all day, Candas, what is
- 38:41Speaker 1: going on in our world?
- 38:42Speaker 3: Well?
- 38:42Speaker 2: United Airlines is going viral this morning after they announced
- 38:45Speaker 2: their new United relax row. Did you guys see this?
- 38:49Speaker 1: I saw this and I thought it was a joke.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Okay, so this is three adjacent economy seeds with adjustable legress,
- 38:55Speaker 2: and then you could basically raise or lower each of
- 38:58Speaker 2: them and create a bed.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:00Speaker 1: But here's my question. This is just pretty much three
- 39:03Speaker 1: regular seats with extended leg rests. Right, so you have
- 39:07Speaker 1: to buy all three seats.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Yeah, if you have all three seats, you can basically
- 39:11Speaker 2: make yourself a lie flat space. Or if no one
- 39:14Speaker 2: comes on your row, wow, and you just get really lucky.
- 39:17Speaker 2: You basically have a bed there. You can stretch out
- 39:20Speaker 2: whenever you want.
- 39:21Speaker 1: How often does that happen anymore?
- 39:22Speaker 2: I mean it doesn't. But some of us with like
- 39:24Speaker 2: kids and stuff, and we travel together like this would
- 39:26Speaker 2: be perfect.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And I thought to myself, this is going to be
- 39:29Speaker 1: too weird for me. Even if it was completely empty.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I don't know if I could just lay down and
- 39:34Speaker 1: make a bed around where everybody else is not laying down. Yeah,
- 39:38Speaker 1: but other.
- 39:39Speaker 2: People might be laying down because they're going to give
- 39:41Speaker 2: you a mattress pad, a blanket, two pillows. If you
- 39:44Speaker 2: have kids, they're going to give them a stuffy It's
- 39:46Speaker 2: not going to be available until next year on more
- 39:48Speaker 2: than two hundred of their planes, but each one of
- 39:51Speaker 2: them has like up to twelve of these brand new rows,
- 39:54Speaker 2: so everybody around you is going to have the option
- 39:56Speaker 2: to turn it into a bed. Also. Now it gets
- 39:58Speaker 2: weird if you have people in your row and somebody
- 40:01Speaker 2: wants to like use it, right, you know, well you can't.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't think, so, No, what are you gonna put
- 40:06Speaker 1: your feet on me? If I'm in the aisle row?
- 40:08Speaker 2: Maybe sit like crisscross apple sauce or something.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I guess you have to buy the all three seats,
- 40:12Speaker 1: And I'm like, who's doing that? And it's so expensive
- 40:14Speaker 1: as it is. Yeah, it's got to be a long
- 40:16Speaker 1: flight for me to want to do that.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I like seeing all the comments from
- 40:19Speaker 2: the tall people who this just would never work for
- 40:22Speaker 2: because I could totally stretch out all the way.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Yeah, but like my ankles would get me in the aisle.
- 40:28Speaker 2: You have to bend your knees.
- 40:29Speaker 1: The cart would hit my toe.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I was a hype about this, but I'm small. So guys.
- 40:36Speaker 2: A woman issuing Atlas Energy for over a million dollars,
- 40:40Speaker 2: she says a natural gas leak destroyed her home and
- 40:43Speaker 2: left her with life altering injuries. This explosion happened in
- 40:46Speaker 2: Lake Dallas. She was in the home at the time.
- 40:49Speaker 2: She had to be airlifted to the hospital after neighbors
- 40:52Speaker 2: pulled her from the rubble. She also says her house
- 40:55Speaker 2: has no gas service or gas appliances, though, so this
- 40:59Speaker 2: law claims gas came from ATMOS facilities into her home
- 41:04Speaker 2: before it ignited. ATMAS hasn't released an official cause for
- 41:08Speaker 2: the explosion, but her house was completely destroyed and when.
- 41:11Speaker 1: You see it, you're like, I can't believe she survived.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Thank God.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she says the same, She's lucky to be alive.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I guess there were two other gas leaks a few
- 41:19Speaker 2: days before this, so people around there, you know, really
- 41:22Speaker 2: want answers for what's going on. Is it safe to
- 41:24Speaker 2: be in this neighborhood. There's supposed to be a town
- 41:27Speaker 2: hall meeting suit to discuss this. They haven't said just
- 41:30Speaker 2: when yet, but hopefully she gets out of the hospital soon,
- 41:34Speaker 2: poor thing.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 2: We were talking about sleeping on planes a second ago,
- 41:36Speaker 2: but this might be the easiest sleep tip ever. If
- 41:39Speaker 2: you happen to share a bed with a partner. Sleep
- 41:42Speaker 2: experts say having only one blanket might be hurting your sleep.
- 41:46Speaker 2: So this is a new trend. It's called the Scandinavian
- 41:50Speaker 2: sleep method, and it says couples should use separate blankets
- 41:53Speaker 2: for better rest and less disruptions at night. I agree,
- 41:57Speaker 2: it makes perfect sense.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Makes total sense because if I ever used to get
- 42:01Speaker 1: in a fight with you know, like an X, yeah,
- 42:03Speaker 1: always over the blanket. Yeah, or their toenails, their toenails,
- 42:07Speaker 1: because sometimes I just get randomly stabbed at night.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 42:10Speaker 1: So I'm all for a pillow wall because I don't
- 42:13Speaker 1: really like cuddling. Yeah, I mean I will cuddle if
- 42:16Speaker 1: I have to. You will if you have one. First
- 42:18Speaker 1: of all, how would you know you don't like people
- 42:20Speaker 1: to touch you just because you want to cuddle with me?
- 42:27Speaker 2: I'm gand slow pez. Those are your Texas top stories. First, Oh,
- 42:31Speaker 2: that's a hot take.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Let us know what you think.
- 42:33Speaker 9: Here's today's hot take.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Hot Take of the Day on Mixed one O two
- 42:37Speaker 1: point nine. It's Bailey the Kid, Candae Low Pans producer
- 42:39Speaker 1: Poo and we were just talking about this because the
- 42:41Speaker 1: nostalgia trend online. You know, where were you in the nineties,
- 42:45Speaker 1: What were you like in the nineties? The videos are
- 42:47Speaker 1: just oh, they're so good, also so kind of sad.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Dude, it smooth's got me yes, all the old cowboys.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Photos and I just made one and I put it
- 42:56Speaker 1: out of me too, you did, Yes, I put it
- 42:58Speaker 1: on our mix account at ME one two nine FM,
- 43:01Speaker 1: about Hey Dallas, what were you like in the nineties?
- 43:03Speaker 1: And I just flashed back to a bunch of stuff
- 43:05Speaker 1: in the nineties, like crystals, crystals, Pleasa, Penny Whistle part
- 43:10Speaker 1: Penny was so par I'll put up a club.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Clearview on there, Troy Aikman and.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Of course Madonna, Mike Madonna holding up to Stanleys. That
- 43:19Speaker 1: was classic. But listen to this hot take speaking in
- 43:22Speaker 1: the nineties, what this girl went viral for saying the.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Nineties weren't actually better than nowadays. I think there are
- 43:28Speaker 4: childhoods through rose colored glasses. And every generation I was
- 43:32Speaker 4: growing up, people would always be like, oh, like, this
- 43:33Speaker 4: isn't like the seventies. The seventies were so much better.
- 43:36Speaker 4: But you know what, like nowadays, kids in twenty years,
- 43:38Speaker 4: they're going to look back and be like, yeah, the
- 43:39Speaker 4: twenty twenties, those were the best years. So like the
- 43:42Speaker 4: nineties weren't better than nowadays. We just missed our childhoods
- 43:45Speaker 4: having no responsibilities.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Wow, we do?
- 43:47Speaker 2: You're right?
- 43:48Speaker 1: Hot? Take right there?
- 43:50Speaker 7: What?
- 43:51Speaker 1: No, I think she has a point when she says that, yeah,
- 43:54Speaker 1: we miss our childhoods. Yeah, you cannot say that the
- 43:57Speaker 1: twenty twenties were better than that nineties.
- 44:00Speaker 2: No, girl, did you ever go to the computer lab?
- 44:02Speaker 7: On?
- 44:03Speaker 1: Did you ever play organ trail?
- 44:05Speaker 7: Come on?
- 44:06Speaker 1: Did you ever see the TV on the cart rolling?
- 44:09Speaker 4: Oh?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Yes, No, there's no way you could say that. I'm
- 44:12Speaker 1: not saying the nineties were the best decade ever, right,
- 44:15Speaker 1: I mean they're pretty good for us. Yes, I like
- 44:17Speaker 1: the nineties. Yeah, twenty twenties being better.
- 44:20Speaker 2: No, we went through a pandemic, right, I mean there
- 44:23Speaker 2: was a good balance of tech, and that's what I
- 44:25Speaker 2: look for. It wasn't invasive or expected. You could get
- 44:28Speaker 2: on AOL and some messenger if you wanted to talk
- 44:30Speaker 2: to somebody. No one had, you know, contact with me
- 44:33Speaker 2: anytime they want.
- 44:34Speaker 1: That's a really good point. Yeah, because I do think
- 44:37Speaker 1: right now we're not balanced. No, when it comes to
- 44:39Speaker 1: social media, we are totally thrown off. I think it's
- 44:43Speaker 1: really hurting us. You know they were talking about how
- 44:45Speaker 1: kids nowadays have more pressure when it comes to being
- 44:47Speaker 1: online and being on social media than smoking or drinking.
- 44:51Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Like back in the name, that was our Oh yeah,
- 44:54Speaker 1: that was our peer pressure. Yeah, nowadays, no smoking and
- 44:57Speaker 1: drinking is not the pressure. The pressure is being online
- 44:59Speaker 1: in social media and living up to standards that don't exist.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Easy to say no to a cigarette, but an iPhone.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Yeah, if you asked me, best decade ever, you know,
- 45:10Speaker 1: And obviously this is personal to each person, but I
- 45:13Speaker 1: would say it's the early two thousands to two, two
- 45:19Speaker 1: thousand and two and ten, Yes, yeah, prime, I mean
- 45:24Speaker 1: I just think about especially in this in Dallas.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, we had so much fun.
- 45:30Speaker 1: We had the best time ever. I mean we had
- 45:32Speaker 1: have a nice day cafe, we had actual clubs. We
- 45:35Speaker 1: had clubs, Purgatory, Cowboys, college Night.
- 45:41Speaker 6: College Night, Jack's Pub, Jack's Jack Yeah.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Yeah, man, I will say my liver still hates me
- 45:52Speaker 1: for those days. But that's another thing too, Like kids,
- 45:55Speaker 1: and that's probably a good thing. Young people don't drink
- 45:58Speaker 1: like we drank, like I don't know why.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Yeah, they're all on their phone.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Like nobody tried to fight a garbage can, like.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Me, you won, you won?
- 46:10Speaker 1: I did win? Oh I got jumped? No you didn't.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Yeah you go. Oh yeah, that was embarrassing. One time
- 46:18Speaker 1: I came back from Jack's Pub and I was all bloody.
- 46:22Speaker 1: My knuckles were all bloody, and I was a little
- 46:24Speaker 1: bit tipsy, and you know, I get dropped off at
- 46:26Speaker 1: the station here when we were because we're been working
- 46:29Speaker 1: together for twenty years. Yeah, and I was like, oh man,
- 46:32Speaker 1: I got to jump these guys, and Poo's like, are
- 46:34Speaker 1: you serious? And the next day He's like, I can't
- 46:36Speaker 1: believe you got jumped, And I was like, man, I
- 46:38Speaker 1: gotta come clean. I didn't get jumped. I tripped over
- 46:41Speaker 1: a garbage can, got mad, punched it and fell.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Good time.
- 46:50Speaker 1: But your favorite decade ever.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Cant is, I mean early two thousand's what we just
- 46:54Speaker 2: talked about was awesome. But I did love the nineties.
- 46:56Speaker 2: I loved like going on AOL and getting that free
- 46:58Speaker 2: hours disc so I could go like look up Ben
- 47:01Speaker 2: Affleck and Matt Damon and in Sync and oh.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Wow, you were was my jam Tell you something. Cannis
- 47:07Speaker 1: was thriving in the nineties. Oh yeah, in the late
- 47:10Speaker 1: nineties with in Sync, you were so obsessed though.
- 47:13Speaker 2: To the point them all over the country.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you went, you followed in sync all over the country.
- 47:18Speaker 1: You led fan clubs.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't lead fan clubs, but I was friends
- 47:21Speaker 2: with the people who led the fan clubs.
- 47:23Speaker 1: You only missed one day of high school.
- 47:24Speaker 2: In your entire life eight nineteen ninety nine. Yeah, April,
- 47:28Speaker 2: because they were at plan they were coming to play
- 47:30Speaker 2: in Hollywood. I remember playing a Hollywood listen.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I remember, yes.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's when Justin had red hair for a hot second.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Oh that's right.
- 47:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Matter of fact, I think I met you before I
- 47:42Speaker 1: met you technically.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so too.
- 47:44Speaker 1: I think I was hosting something when you were in
- 47:47Speaker 1: I don't even know. You must have just been graduated, probably,
- 47:50Speaker 1: and I was hosting something at I don't know where.
- 47:53Speaker 2: It was at the club in Arlington.
- 47:56Speaker 1: No, it wasn't the team club. I think it was
- 47:58Speaker 1: at Tower Records. Oh yeah, yeah, downtown, and they did
- 48:01Speaker 1: something within sync and there's a video of you there,
- 48:03Speaker 1: and I know I was there, and I think I
- 48:05Speaker 1: may you then.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Probably so little did we know that years later you
- 48:09Speaker 2: could have been my insynct ticket hook up.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Wow, I thought we could be friends.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Fuck scarty little secret.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yes, I'm mixed one or two point nine. Good morning,
- 48:22Speaker 1: It's Bailey the Kid Candaslow Pans producer Pooh. Is here
- 48:25Speaker 1: your secrets anytime you want? Just bring them okay eight
- 48:28Speaker 1: three three seven eight seven one h two nine or
- 48:30Speaker 1: sometimes you know, we can set them up on Instagram.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Some people like that more. Yeah, they could DM Candas
- 48:35Speaker 1: if you want. Yeah, at candasan air tell you your secrets.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Maybe you feel more comfortable with her because whatever, yeah,
- 48:41Speaker 1: do it, don't DM Pooh. They'll just try to hook up. No,
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. I'm totally kidding, all right, but if
- 48:49Speaker 1: you got a secret, you let us know. Okay, bring it?
- 48:52Speaker 1: You got one? How are you good?
- 48:53Speaker 2: How are you?
- 48:54Speaker 1: I'm good? Thank you for asking. Okay, hot mess alert.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Apparently you got yourself into something. What's going on?
- 49:00Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, this is the stuff that like only
- 49:02Speaker 5: happens to me. Either you you either if you go
- 49:06Speaker 5: to the gym.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Yeah yeah sometimes I mean, don't judge me, but why
- 49:10Speaker 1: is this the true question? What's going on?
- 49:12Speaker 4: No?
- 49:12Speaker 5: No, no, Like, if you go to the gym, like
- 49:15Speaker 5: I go every I would say like four or five
- 49:17Speaker 5: times a week. So I'm committed. I finally got there.
- 49:22Speaker 5: And if you go to the gym every single day,
- 49:24Speaker 5: every at the same time every day, then you're like, okay,
- 49:27Speaker 5: you start to see the same people and they become
- 49:29Speaker 5: like your people, right.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you know you know what, I've never quite gotten
- 49:32Speaker 1: that much into a matter of fact, they like, are you.
- 49:36Speaker 2: A member here?
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I am. Okay, goes past the snacks. Yeah,
- 49:41Speaker 1: I go four to five times a year.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Go ahead, I'm not judging you.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Okay, good.
- 49:48Speaker 5: Well, so there's this guy that I always see like
- 49:50Speaker 5: he's like, you know, one of my people. You know,
- 49:51Speaker 5: I always feel like like, oh, how's it going, how
- 49:54Speaker 5: is your weekend? Like total friend vibe. Well, then all
- 49:57Speaker 5: of a sudden he came up to me and he
- 49:59Speaker 5: was like, hey, do you want to go out sometime.
- 50:02Speaker 10: Well, the first thing is he's little.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Like he's he's little.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Oh he's a little little boy, little got like little
- 50:13Speaker 1: as in like he's not he's not swollen enough for you,
- 50:16Speaker 1: not tall enough or just little like short king. You know,
- 50:20Speaker 1: he's like, oh he's a short king. You pat him
- 50:24Speaker 1: on the head when you see him.
- 50:27Speaker 5: Okay, that's not my thing, Like I'm side eight, so
- 50:30Speaker 5: I'm kind of tall for a female anyway, So it's
- 50:34Speaker 5: just not for me. So I'm like, just out of
- 50:39Speaker 5: my mouth is like, oh, I'm not into dudes like women.
- 50:44Speaker 1: You told you told him you're into women, you are
- 50:47Speaker 1: into women, or you're not to Oh my god, but
- 50:53Speaker 1: you're not into women in real life.
- 50:56Speaker 5: No.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Oh, this would have a real handy back in the
- 51:00Speaker 2: day for me.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Girls do that all the time.
- 51:02Speaker 2: I never thought of that.
- 51:03Speaker 1: You never just thought about saying I'm not introduced. I mean,
- 51:06Speaker 1: how could because I.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Lied before and said I'm in a relationship or I
- 51:09Speaker 2: have a boyfriend when I didn't.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Right, But they can argue with that. They can never
- 51:12Speaker 1: argue with the fact that he's not good to you
- 51:14Speaker 1: don't like plan.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Yes, it fell out. I couldn't. I couldn't catch it
- 51:22Speaker 5: fast enough.
- 51:22Speaker 2: I know that.
- 51:23Speaker 5: I'm like, oh, okay. So then he was like, oh,
- 51:26Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I didn't know, like really.
- 51:27Speaker 6: Cool about it.
- 51:29Speaker 5: It doesn't stop there. A couple of days go by
- 51:31Speaker 5: and he like brings some girl up who is like,
- 51:34Speaker 5: I've seen her at the gym before, but he's like, oh,
- 51:36Speaker 5: I just really wanted to introduce you to oh, no,
- 51:41Speaker 5: dig the whole.
- 51:43Speaker 1: No. So he's trying to set you up on a date.
- 51:47Speaker 1: He's like, I can't head you. I got somebody who will. God.
- 51:52Speaker 5: So I said, well, I'm dating someone.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Not only have you lied about being a lesbian, but
- 51:58Speaker 1: now you've lied about being a lesbian in a relationship exactly.
- 52:04Speaker 1: So I mean, what can you say to that? So
- 52:06Speaker 1: she says, okay, well then let me know or maybe
- 52:09Speaker 1: I'll see you around. I guess no.
- 52:10Speaker 5: I would do what be only a good person would do.
- 52:13Speaker 5: I would say, you know what, I'm gonna take your
- 52:15Speaker 5: number and if it doesn't work.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Out, oh my god, you took her number down? Yeah, okay,
- 52:25Speaker 1: look at you, you are living at you are a
- 52:27Speaker 1: completely different person at the gym, right, four times, I have.
- 52:31Speaker 5: To pretend I'm a lesbian in front of me. I
- 52:35Speaker 5: have to like eyeball her.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 52:38Speaker 2: And now there's no way you're going to meet a
- 52:39Speaker 2: dude at the gym because they all think you're Yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Now, if you do gym, yeah, you gotta switch gyms.
- 52:46Speaker 1: You know what? This is why I don't work.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Out is Texas to Stories on the Tents with Billy
- 52:52Speaker 3: the Kid in the.
- 52:52Speaker 7: Morning only on the new one.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Got so much going on today. We got Harry Styles
- 52:58Speaker 1: a trip to see him. You want to win, We'll
- 53:00Speaker 1: do it at ninety shot all day. We do this, Candice,
- 53:03Speaker 1: What is going on in our world?
- 53:04Speaker 2: Well, we are getting into the warmest part of the
- 53:06Speaker 2: week starting today before we cool down. It going into
- 53:09Speaker 2: the weekend partly cloudy with the high in the upper
- 53:11Speaker 2: eighties today. Some spots could hit ninety. It's already seventy outside.
- 53:15Speaker 9: Though.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Chili's is assuring customers that they can wear whatever they
- 53:19Speaker 2: want in their restaurants. So they did this in response
- 53:23Speaker 2: to Ruth Chris Steakhouse, who recently went viral for their
- 53:27Speaker 2: dress code of business casual.
- 53:29Speaker 1: They have a dress code a rus Chris.
- 53:31Speaker 2: I don't know if they had this before, but it's
- 53:33Speaker 2: gone viral because they're saying proper attire is required and
- 53:36Speaker 2: they ask that you kindly remove all hats when entering
- 53:39Speaker 2: the restaurant. They say, if you wear a ball cap,
- 53:41Speaker 2: you got to eat in the bar, which is not awful.
- 53:44Speaker 1: No, that's pretty normal. That a lot of nice steakhouses, Yeah,
- 53:46Speaker 1: but is that at that level.
- 53:48Speaker 2: I haven't been to Ruth Chris in a long time,
- 53:50Speaker 2: so I don't really know. But they also go down
- 53:52Speaker 2: a whole list of clothing you can't wear in their
- 53:55Speaker 2: dining room, like jim ware, pull a tire, tank tops,
- 53:58Speaker 2: revealing clothing or a disposed undergarments.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I can't wear a tank top. You
- 54:05Speaker 1: mean to tell me I can't wear my hat my
- 54:08Speaker 1: tank top to get me a nice steak. Yeah, hail
- 54:11Speaker 1: with this place, Hail with you. I wear whatever I
- 54:15Speaker 1: wanted Applebee's.
- 54:16Speaker 2: That is true.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and it feels good rolling in the tank top getting.
- 54:19Speaker 2: A dollar mark, I think.
- 54:21Speaker 1: So, I don't know this.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Big shots versions well, Chili said, the only dress code
- 54:27Speaker 2: we have is that you be dressed. So that's why
- 54:31Speaker 2: my chili is going viral as well.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Kind of standards Chili.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Yeah, just be dressed when you come up in here.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I stopped going to Ruth's, Chris, because I used to
- 54:38Speaker 1: date a girl with a lisp. What And she couldn't
- 54:41Speaker 1: say she loved that place? No, she did, And every
- 54:44Speaker 1: time she would try to say it, I just I
- 54:45Speaker 1: couldn't say. I can't. You try to say, with the list,
- 54:48Speaker 1: I can't, No, go ahead that you still know, I'd
- 54:55Speaker 1: be like where and she'd say I didn't know what
- 54:56Speaker 1: you're saying. Let's go to Yeah, I'd be like, all right,
- 54:59Speaker 1: they let's let's go get your car, put on your
- 55:02Speaker 1: fancies tank top stick, a stick you want, a nice primary,
- 55:08Speaker 1: maybe a Feva fallot. Yeah, exit either.
- 55:13Speaker 2: On the fight. I can't real quick, guys. Easter's coming
- 55:20Speaker 2: up a week from Sunday. They're saying Easter spending is
- 55:23Speaker 2: expected to hit almost twenty five billion dollars this year.
- 55:26Speaker 2: That makes the average around one hundred and ninety five
- 55:29Speaker 2: dollars a person. But they're saying people are going, you know,
- 55:32Speaker 2: kind of back to the traditional big meal, family comes
- 55:34Speaker 2: in to visit. Of course, egg hunt, candy, food and gifts.
- 55:39Speaker 2: But there was also this new survey that said two
- 55:41Speaker 2: thirds of adults think they deserve Easter baskets just as
- 55:45Speaker 2: much as kids do. Yeah, they're saying, this is kind
- 55:47Speaker 2: of like the adult a wean trend that happened I
- 55:51Speaker 2: guess a couple of years ago, where you know, adults
- 55:53Speaker 2: were like, we deserve our Halloween night guilt free, but
- 55:55Speaker 2: this is Easter.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Let the kids have their time, have their fun, have
- 55:58Speaker 1: their Easter. As far as as adults, No, I mean,
- 56:01Speaker 1: come on, it's the same girl with the lisp. They
- 56:03Speaker 1: wanted an Easter basket. She did that. I used to date.
- 56:06Speaker 1: She got mad at me because I didn't have an
- 56:07Speaker 1: Easter basket.
- 56:07Speaker 2: For that's wild. I know who expects an Easter basket?
- 56:12Speaker 1: She did? Okay, God, did you need a deli?
- 56:15Speaker 9: Bet?
- 56:17Speaker 2: Just you take her to Chris?
- 56:19Speaker 1: I would have. I don't know we got that how
- 56:22Speaker 1: to get there?
- 56:23Speaker 7: You know?
- 56:24Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, no, because I didn't
- 56:26Speaker 1: know what she was saying. I'm like, where do you
- 56:28Speaker 1: want to go? I thought I didn't. I swear to you,
- 56:30Speaker 1: I did not know what Ruth Chris was for the
- 56:33Speaker 1: longest time.
- 56:34Speaker 2: I'm so done. All right, all right, I'm Canna Slowpez.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Those are Texas top.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Stories and get it off your chest.
- 56:41Speaker 9: To promise you'll feel better.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Welcome to the dirty Little Secret.
- 56:44Speaker 1: This chance to see Harry Styles coming up next on
- 56:46Speaker 1: Mixed one or two point nine. It's bailing the kid,
- 56:48Speaker 1: Canda slow Pez, producer, poo with your secrets. Confess any
- 56:52Speaker 1: time you want you just bring them. Make good eight

- 56:58Speaker 10: I'm great? How are you?
- 56:59Speaker 1: I'm feeling good? And I'm feeling dirty. What's your dirty
- 57:01Speaker 1: little secret?
- 57:06Speaker 10: I feel a little dirty and horrible. Ready to say
- 57:09Speaker 10: this out aloud, but don't judge me. I've been divorced
- 57:12Speaker 10: for about three years now, and honestly, I haven't really
- 57:15Speaker 10: been out at all, like not at all. And the
- 57:17Speaker 10: whole life's been working at home, kids sleep, repeat, you know,
- 57:21Speaker 10: in that full cycle. And the kids are off the
- 57:23Speaker 10: college now and I finally hit a point where I
- 57:25Speaker 10: just like need to get out.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:27Speaker 10: So I went to this barn Frisco with a couple
- 57:30Speaker 10: of girlfriends and we had a lot of fun and everything.
- 57:34Speaker 10: But while I'm there, I run into someone I never
- 57:37Speaker 10: expected to see and it was my daughter's old high
- 57:40Speaker 10: school friend.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Your daughter's old high school friend.
- 57:44Speaker 8: Yeah, so like one.
- 57:46Speaker 10: Of the kids used to come over after football games
- 57:48Speaker 10: and like one of the boys who would raid my
- 57:50Speaker 10: fridge and call me miss and the kids.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I'll bleep your name out just in case I don't
- 57:57Speaker 1: want to yea, leave your name out. Okay, So this
- 58:00Speaker 1: was this is a guy that a kid that you
- 58:02Speaker 1: knew him.
- 58:03Speaker 8: He was around yeah, yeah, like a lot.
- 58:05Speaker 10: But he's not.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Kiding where is this going.
- 58:07Speaker 10: It's older and grown well, he recognizes me instantly, and
- 58:10Speaker 10: I barely recognized him. And at first I thought he
- 58:13Speaker 10: was just being polite and like making small talks. It wasn't.
- 58:16Speaker 10: He was flirting, like clearly flirted. He was persistent, like
- 58:21Speaker 10: complimenting me and leaning in and buying me a drink.
- 58:25Speaker 10: I swear your eyes rose like a deer in headlight.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Okay, because it's a different type situation.
- 58:33Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, well, and it's been a long time, but
- 58:37Speaker 10: like you know, honestly, it was like embarrassingly good to
- 58:40Speaker 10: be noticed again. And I haven't been hit on him
- 58:42Speaker 10: so long, and I forgot what it feels like to
- 58:45Speaker 10: have somebody look at you like that, like you're.
- 58:46Speaker 8: Attractive, you know.
- 58:48Speaker 10: And yeah, so I didn't hate it, not at all.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to just go ahead, hold on, then,
- 58:57Speaker 1: let me just cut to this right now, because I
- 58:59Speaker 1: got to know. Yeah, same, did you take him back
- 59:01Speaker 1: to your pantry?
- 59:07Speaker 10: It's not but it's number.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Okay, you got his number? Oh you took his number?
- 59:12Speaker 2: I did.
- 59:16Speaker 1: How do we feel about this?
- 59:17Speaker 8: I don't know what to do.
- 59:20Speaker 1: By the way, this would be totally different if it
- 59:22Speaker 1: was reversed, if this was a guy like my son,
- 59:25Speaker 1: like no I'm not saying any and you're I appreciate
- 59:29Speaker 1: your honesty, but you know you're coming out of a divorce.

- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Nowadays you can't tell what's going on. I can't tell.

- 1:00:19Speaker 5: Do I tell my daughter?
- 1:00:20Speaker 10: Like it's just something I need to shut down completely
- 1:00:22Speaker 10: and just very deep, deep, deep like it never happens.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Yeah, very deep.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: No, girl, I'm gonna know. I want to know Cannis pursuit.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: You know your daughter well enough, I would think to
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: know her thoughts on this, so you got to go
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: with that. But my guess is she's probably like ugh,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: and who knows, maybe she had a thing for him,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: and then that's extra weird.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Yeah, to make some cookies. Okay, the did.
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: Love goods back in the day.

- 1:01:09Speaker 1: She's divorced now, she should be able to enjoy herself.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Let this guy live.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's one of her daughter's old friends. If
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you're going to pursue it, I think you have to
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: talk to your daughter.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: No, No, her daughter's college, I don't believe.
