• 1:14
Speaker 1: Hello everyone and welcome back to the Abundant and Aligned podcast.
• 1:17
Speaker 1: I was about to say good morning but realizing it may not be morning when you're tuning in.
• 1:20
Speaker 1: It is Thursday morning.
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: Here.
• 1:21
Speaker 1: I have just had a couple of podcast interviews and thought I would sit down and have a chat with you guys.
• 1:27
Speaker 1: As you've seen, we've had some guest speakers on the show, which I'm sure you're loving, given we are in the launch of Her Empire, my business mastermind.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: By the way, there's only two spots left if you want to work with me as a business client in 2025.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: But given we're focusing on women in business and growing our businesses, I thought it would really.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: I thought it would be really fitting to bring on some women in business just to share their story, their wins, their challenges in business and, most importantly, how they're doing it all.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: And what's really important to me on my show is we are having those raw, honest, vulnerable conversations.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: Of course, I love women to come onto my show and talk about the success that they're experiencing in business, but it's also really important to me that they're sharing the challenges, how they're overcoming them and the realities of running a business.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: So I'm sure you're finding a lot of value from those conversations and, yeah, I hope they are inspiring you.
• 2:26
Speaker 1: But today I just wanted to sit down for more of a chatty episode with you all a few different things to share personal stuff, business stuff.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: As I said, just more of a chatty one.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: I feel like we've had a lot of learning, education type of episodes on the show and I know it's nice sometimes just to tune into more of a casual conversation, switch off a little bit and not always be in learning mode, which is actually something I'm trying to do a little bit more.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: So I was the person that would do my morning routine in the morning, work throughout the day and then at night, be reading personal development books or doing some kind of training If I was in the middle, work throughout the day and then at night, be reading personal development books or doing some kind of training if I was in the middle of a course or a certification and not really switching my brain off.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: So I've actually made an effort this year to read fiction books, watch Netflix at night and be okay about that, not feel guilty listening to just music instead of always having a podcast and just giving my brain a bit of a break.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: So I guess that's what this episode can be for you guys today Just enabling you to switch off a little bit and just and just tune into a bit more of a chat.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: So I guess, a life update, something very exciting to share with everybody.
• 3:42
Speaker 1: My hen's weekend is next weekend.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: We are off to Byron for the weekend.
• 3:47
Speaker 1: I have family and friends coming up on Monday for the week.
• 3:51
Speaker 1: Of course I'm having almost a week long hens.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: My sister did like a bio for the group chat and she emphasized that of course I'm having this extra long hens weekend.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: But girls, hopefully, we're only getting married once, so let's make this time all about us and make it super extra.
• 4:13
Speaker 1: So I'm really excited to share the content, the photos, the videos, exactly what we're doing for that weekend.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: But yeah, we have hired this beautiful big house down in the Byron hinterlands and we are doing like an Italian night on the first night, a garden lunch on the Saturday, and then we'll be hanging by the pool on the Sunday and this house is insane.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: So I'm really really excited for that weekend.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: So I've kind of been juggling a lot at the moment between business and my personal life and I wanted to share what I've been doing behind the scenes to try and find a bit of a balance.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: Planning a wedding is a lot if you have got married before and I want it to be a lot Like.
• 4:57
Speaker 1: I didn't want this wedding to be something that we just throw together and it becomes a burden in our life, like I really wanted to enjoy all the steps in the wedding planning process and make them a big deal, like when we're filling out the questionnaire for the celebrants, sitting down and having a wine and really getting into the questions or, you know, meeting our photographer in person and and actually catching that like embracing all of the moments.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: But it is obviously requiring my time and, with the hens coming up and family coming up, really just trying to juggle what's going on in my personal life with the business.
• 5:34
Speaker 1: And I did have the intention to wind down by now at this time of the year.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: But we are filling spots for her empire, which we always do at this time of year for next year.
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: So that's fine.
• 5:48
Speaker 1: I knew that launch was happening, but classic me has decided to throw in another launch before Christmas and get out into the world a brand new course, which I'm sure you've seen on my Instagram, but I'm launching a course that is going to help you start and scale an online business.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: My biggest value in my life, but within my brand, is freedom, and I'm here to help more women have more freedom time freedom, location freedom, financial freedom, freedom within themselves and I think one of the most powerful ways that we can do that is by having an online business that allows us to make money from wherever, at any time, and create this freedom.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: So I thought, after three programs, multiple one-on-one clients, a mastermind it was time that I showed you exactly how I've built my business to the point that does allow me to have that freedom that once was just a dream.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: Once was a life that felt too good to be true.
• 6:50
Speaker 1: You guys know my story.
• 6:53
Speaker 1: I grew up in a household where you work.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: You work five or six days a week, from the morning to the night, and that's just what life is like, and no one in my family had an online business.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: Well, we are really the first generation that even has the possibility to run an online business with the evolution of technology.
• 7:12
Speaker 1: But so, yeah, naturally, I didn't see anyone in generations before we have online businesses.
• 7:18
Speaker 1: So you know navigating the fact that a life like this was even possible was a learning curve for me.
• 7:27
Speaker 1: So to be able to sit here now and be like, yeah, I actually have that freedom, time freedom, location freedom, financial freedom, freedom within myself it's a really really cool place to be and something I'm really proud of and, more importantly, something that I want for you guys.
• 7:42
Speaker 1: So, yeah, I'm really excited for this course.
• 7:43
Speaker 1: It's called Becoming the Online CEO and it will be launching on the 2nd of December, which is a deadline that I had to put on myself because I kept putting this course off.
• 7:52
Speaker 1: I did want to launch this at the start of the year and just kept procrastinating and putting it off and just being too busy with other things.
• 8:01
Speaker 1: So I wanted it to be a 2024 goal and making sure that I'm still sticking to that.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: So I have announced it on my Instagram.
• 8:10
Speaker 1: I have announced that it's going to be a part of her empire complimentary, so now I have to get this course done.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: So, amongst wedding planning and having my hands and hanging out with my family, I'm also creating and launching a brand new course from the ground up, filling spots for my business, mastermind.
• 8:30
Speaker 1: We've also got the academy open for the six month payment plan, the wealthy woman is now available on the website.
• 8:36
Speaker 1: Like there is a lot still going on, but I really do want to wind down and I guess this is just a little nudge to you to try and take some time over the Christmas break to wind down if you can and I guess this is just a little nudge to you to try and take some time over the Christmas braid to wind down if you can.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: And if your business does not allow for that, then all the more reason to maybe grab becoming the online CEO or get into my business mastermind so that I can help you create a business that does allow you to step out without it impacting your growth, and set it up in a way where you can go and spend Christmas with your family and switch off from social media and have an actual break, but still make money and still know that sales is coming through the door or income is coming through the door.
• 9:17
Speaker 1: So again, if that's a dream for you, if you are in business and you are an employee within your business and you would love this sense of freedom, then just know I'm here to show you exactly how, if you are working, you don't get a break over Christmas, then let's try and find a way that you can, whether that is seeking out a different job, whether that's setting some boundaries, whether that's jumping into your own business.
• 9:44
Speaker 1: I would love for us all to slow down more often and enjoy these moments in our life without fear that we're going to be losing something, and I know that's the reality for some people.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: Like, some people can't take a break over Christmas because they need the money to come through their business.
• 10:02
Speaker 1: Their job doesn't allow for them to take a step back and still continue to grow.
• 10:06
Speaker 1: But, again, I would love to help you create structures, systems, business opportunities, so that you can do that.
• 10:13
Speaker 1: And, of course, that's possible, no matter what.
• 10:16
Speaker 1: No matter if you have no idea what a business would look like, no matter how, like you can't see that your business could even be to that point, but I promise there is a way.
• 10:25
Speaker 1: So, yeah, I just hope you can find some time to rest and just slow down, because otherwise the years just roll into the next and this is how we end up burnt out and not lit up by what we're here to create and do.
• 10:40
Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm really looking forward to a little bit of a break.
• 10:44
Speaker 1: Once this course is launched, these final spots are filled for her empire.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to just slowing down and just enjoying the wedding prep.
• 10:53
Speaker 1: Like I really want to dive fully into wedding prep and, like I said, I don't want that to be a burden and a stressful part of our life where we're like, oh, I've got to sit down and answer the questionnaire from the photographer, like, oh, my God, we have to figure out the songs that we want.
• 11:08
Speaker 1: So, yeah, I want to enjoy it all and yeah, I'm really grateful that I do have a business that will allow me to step back a little bit and focus on the wedding and just enjoy that process.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: So that's kind of what's happening in the background.
• 11:23
Speaker 1: Personally, as for the wedding, I'm feeling pretty organized.
• 11:27
Speaker 1: Everything is all booked in.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: We do need to get our ring still, but, as for all of the vendors, they are locked in.
• 11:34
Speaker 1: We are now coming up to the point where we need to start making the decisions.
• 11:38
Speaker 1: So what exactly I want in terms of flowers, what is the schedule for the photographer?
• 11:46
Speaker 1: Where do we want our photos?
• 11:47
Speaker 1: What do we want the celebrant to share?
• 11:49
Speaker 1: Get into the decisions part of this, but otherwise I'm feeling very, very organized, love everything that we are doing for the wedding.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: It is going to be a very classic that we are doing for the wedding.
• 12:00
Speaker 1: It is going to be a very classic, elegant, timeless wedding.
• 12:03
Speaker 1: So that's the brief and so far.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: The bridesmaid dresses fit the brief and I'm obsessed with them.
• 12:10
Speaker 1: The suits are beautiful, like everything is just falling into place.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: So so far, so good.
• 12:16
Speaker 1: Guys, so far so good.
• 12:22
Speaker 1: I'm actually going to bring Bart onto the podcast after the wedding and do a wedding debrief together.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: I think that will be quite funny to get him on the show.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: He has been asking to come on the podcast for a long time and I'm open to it.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: But I'm like, what are we going to talk about?
• 12:32
Speaker 1: Anyways, I thought that could be a good one to get him on for and just chat about our wedding, our experiences, what we thought about it, chat about our wedding, our experiences, what we thought about it, what we'd do differently.
• 12:44
Speaker 1: So, yeah, I will do that one once the big day has come and gone.
• 12:51
Speaker 1: Business wise, I did want to actually have a chat.
• 12:52
Speaker 1: So obviously we are past the financial year, so tax is something that we have to pay within our business, and just this month or last month, I got the biggest tax bill that I have ever gotten my business and I wanted to actually talk about how I'm navigating that, because paying tax was a big fear that I had when I started my business, that I had when I started my business, and I feel like that is a fear that is shared among most of us fearing the big tax bill and having to deal with an accountant and, yeah, I feel like it's definitely a common fear among us all.
• 13:33
Speaker 1: So I thought I would talk about how I've navigated getting this big tax bill and, surprisingly enough and you're going to fall off your seat when I say this that big tax bill excited me.
• 13:46
Speaker 1: I actually got excited and my accountant, when she sent it through, she's like sent all the figures through and how we got to that.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: And she's like are you still breathing?
• 13:57
Speaker 1: Like are you there?
• 13:58
  Speaker 1: Are you okay?
• 13:59
Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, I'm actually okay.
• 14:01
Speaker 1: So it was a bit of a shock for me because it is the biggest one that I've ever got.
• 14:06
Speaker 1: So I haven't practiced this before and, like I said, given the fears that I used to have, the huge blocks that I used to have around money, the old me would have been derailed by this tax bill and so anxious, so stressed as to the amount of money that has to be paid.
• 14:30
Speaker 1: But I was so neutral and I was like, yep, it is what it is.
• 14:34
Speaker 1: Like obviously I have a business, obviously we have to pay tax.
• 14:37
Speaker 1: Like yeah, it's a lot of money, but it is what it is, and my entire body did not react at all and that was a really nice moment for me because that has taken a lot of inner work to get to that place.
• 14:49
Speaker 1: I used to be the person that would feel anxious every single time something came in the mail, for fear that it was a big bill or a speeding fine or something like that.
• 14:59
Speaker 1: And even if it wasn't expected bill, like my phone bill, which is the same amount every single month just seeing that the email coming through would just make me have this automatic anxious feeling within my body and it just would turn on without me even knowing it did, or like trying to.
• 15:17
Speaker 1: It would just be there.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: So to be able to work up to the point where I saw that bill and I was just so neutral.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: Nothing happened within my body and I was like it is what it is, was a moment where I was like, okay, this stuff works, this stuff really works.
• 15:31
Speaker 1: And so if you're at the place that I used to be, where you are feeling the anxiety when it comes to bills and dealing with your money, and if the thought of a big tax bill makes you feel sick and, as a result of that, you're holding back from growing your business, then just listen to all of this stuff we talk about on this show when it comes to upgrading your money mindset, upgrading that subconscious blueprint because it works like make that sleep meditation a part of your life.
• 15:59
Speaker 1: Every single night, wake up in the morning and listen to those affirmations every single morning.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: Practice metacognition, change the emotional reaction that's going on within the body.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: These daily habits and these daily practices do work, guys.
• 16:16
Speaker 1: And, as I said, having that moment the other day was evidence of the power we do have to change our mind and body and we don't need to be living in a place where we are constantly anxious and stressed when it comes to money and adult stuff, like there is a reality that exists where you can remain neutral and it doesn't derail you, and you can just be neutral about it and then figure it out and not everything falls to shit.
• 16:48
Speaker 1: Um, so, yeah, surprisingly, that tax bill kind of got me excited.
• 16:52
Speaker 1: It's also obviously like a big tax bill means that your business is doing well.
• 16:58
Speaker 1: So that's a new perspective that I've put on tax.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: It's yeah, it's an indication that your business is thriving.
• 17:07
Speaker 1: The bigger the tax bill, the more money you're making, and that's what I'm here to create.
• 17:12
Speaker 1: Anyway, I just got off a podcast interview with Tara, who is the founder of Self Events.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: If you've ever heard of that Tara, who is the founder of Self Events, if you've ever heard of that it's a networking community event for women up in the Sunshine Coast.
• 17:25
Speaker 1: And she said, because she's just made some changes within her business, which you'll hear in her episode, she's here to create her version of success.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: So maybe your version of success isn't money, but it's definitely my version of success.
• 17:38
  Speaker 1: I love money.
• 17:39
Speaker 1: I want to make a lot of it, a lot of it.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: I want people in my world to have a lot of it.
• 17:45
Speaker 1: I want you guys to have a lot of it.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: So, yeah, a big tax bill means that the money is growing and the business is scaling and that's an exciting place to be.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: So, um, yeah, I thought I would just share that with you because I appreciate that not everybody would have got excited by that tax bill and trust me when I say this, like the version of me even 12 months ago would have been so anxious and stressed about that.
• 18:14
Speaker 1: And you know, throw this into having to pay money for a wedding as well, Like there's a lot of outgoings at the moment and again, it still didn't stress me out.
• 18:24
Speaker 1: And it's really just required me to remain in a place of trust when it comes to money, like we are surrounded by all the money we could ever need, require and want in this moment, right here and now.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: Money is just energy and it is an unlimited resource.
• 18:44
Speaker 1: There is more than enough to go around and at any point you could have more of it, manifest more of it.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: So it's really required me to stay in that trust and that, knowing that it will drop in and it will be fine and when that amount is due it will be there, and I just know that and I trust that and that is a really powerful place to be.
• 19:06
Speaker 1: So I guess just a little reminder for you guys Like I know that it is a subconscious trigger, I know that this just happens unconsciously for us, but we don't need to be stressing about money.
• 19:21
Speaker 1: We don't need to be fearful of not having enough.
• 19:23
Speaker 1: Like it is an abundant energetic frequency that is just surrounding us in any moment, and and having more requires you tuning into the frequency of having more.
• 19:34
Speaker 1: So I know, I know this, that trusting that more will come is a hard muscle to build, especially when our entire life we've been told that money doesn't grow on trees.
• 19:46
Speaker 1: You have to be careful with your money.
• 19:48
Speaker 1: You have to put money away for a rainy day, an emergency.
• 19:52
Speaker 1: We are programmed to think, feel and believe that money is super limited, but I promise it's all lies, it's all just a perception.
• 20:03
  Speaker 1: That's not true.
• 20:04
Speaker 1: Money is energy, and there is an abundant amount available to you right now, and a scenario or an analogy that I often share with my clients and my students is imagine that you are standing under a tarp and it is pouring down with rain.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: You get to direct the rain to one corner of the tarp simply by lowering the tarp, and you could collect some water in a bucket underneath that corner by lowering the corner and directing the water that way.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: Meanwhile, though, the rain is still coming, and it doesn't care what corner of the tarp it goes to, it will just go wherever you direct it to.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: So that's the same with money it will go to whoever wants it.
• 20:48
Speaker 1: It doesn't care who, it doesn't discriminate, and all you need to do is direct it your way by trusting it will come, feeling worthy of it and taking the aligned action to attract it in, just like lowering the corner of the top.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: So something that I always remember money wants to come to us, money wants us as much as we want money.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: And, again, if we can remain in that, that energy of trusting, expecting and knowing it will drop into your life in ways you could not even predict or imagine, like the amount of the amount of money available to you is more than you can even imagine, and the way it's going to drop into you.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: There is unlimited ways that money could find you and you can't figure that out, you can't predict that.
• 21:38
Speaker 1: So, again, our job is just to trust and know that it will drop in.
• 21:41
Speaker 1: So, again, this tax bill is a big test for me.
• 21:46
Speaker 1: To stay in that test, that trusting energy.
• 21:48
Speaker 1: And, yeah, it was a moment where I was like, okay, amazing, it's paid off all of this work over the years to reprogram my money, my money program has paid off, um, so I just wanted to to share that with you guys.
• 22:03
Speaker 1: Um, essentially that's all I had for today's episode.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: Like I said, I just wanted to get in here and say hello.
• 22:09
Speaker 1: I know we had our 100K series and then we have had speakers on the show.
• 22:15
Speaker 1: It's nice to just have a bit of a solo catch up every now and then.
• 22:19
Speaker 1: Actually, this just popped into my mind I have a new TV show that I want to recommend to you guys.
• 22:28
Speaker 1: I am obsessed with quantum physics.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: I think it's so interesting and this show is kind of in the realm of quantum physics and, yeah, physics, it is called Three Body Problems, which I thought it was new, but I was telling Izzy this morning and she had watched it, so it's obviously not.
• 22:46
Speaker 1: It's not new, but me and Bart have been watching it and it's good.
• 22:50
Speaker 1: The first episode is a little bit confusing and you've got to definitely stick with it.
• 22:55
Speaker 1: We are probably three episodes in, I want to say, and it's starting to come together.
• 22:59
Speaker 1: I won't say anything more than that, but it is a interesting, are that?
• 23:10
Speaker 1: What we see in our everyday life is the tiniest, tiniest, tiniest part of what's actually out there and we, yeah, like, yeah, what we experience with our senses is just the 3D, but there is multi dimensions out there, different realities out there, like there's just more out there that we could ever understand, especially in our conscious state, and it's just a reminder that, um, yeah, like this life that we feel stuck within and what we experienced with our five senses is just a minute part of the possibilities that are out there and the infinite potential of this entire universe.
• 23:59
Speaker 1: I heard a stat the other day that said, oh, I'm probably going to butcher this now, but our universe is only 4%.
• 24:09
Speaker 1: No, what we can perceive is only 4% of what's actually out there and what's actually possible, which is absolutely crazy.
• 24:17
Speaker 1: But anyways, I'm going to leave today's episode here.
• 24:20
Speaker 1: It was nice just to catch up and just fill you in with what's going on within my life, how I'm trying to balance it all.
• 24:27
Speaker 1: Honestly, it's a trying of the balancing at the moment.
• 24:30
Speaker 1: It's a trying of the balancing at the moment.
• 24:37
Speaker 1: Um, I, I'm enjoying all of it, I love being busy, but it really is requiring me to make an effort to still slow down, because I don't want to end up burnt out.
• 24:43
Speaker 1: I don't want to end up resenting the growth in the business or all of the things that are happening in our personal life.
• 24:48
Speaker 1: So really really really being intentional with our personal life, so really really really being intentional with not saying yes to absolutely everything being okay about resting when my body is saying that I'm tired and I need to pull back a little bit and really just being mindful of, like, when to go and when to slow down and you guys know I'm big on alignment with your menstrual cycle and that is really really a big focus for me at the moment like looking at my calendar and if people want to get me on their podcast or I want someone on my podcast, or if we have events or whatever, looking at my calendar and doing them, if I can, during my week, during the week of my ovulation, and then trying to keep my calendar clear a couple of days before my period, because I just know I'm not in it, my body's tired, I cannot communicate very well, I cannot string sentences together, I'm not my best self during that period in terms of showing up and being on camera and chatting and, you know, being in social settings.
• 25:48
Speaker 1: So I'm like, instead of forcing myself instead of pushing myself.
• 25:52
Speaker 1: I am going to do other things during that period.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: So that's what's really helped me at the moment with, like, quite a lot going on in my life is it's it's still coming back to those basics of like, when am I going to show up my best and try and do the most then?
• 26:06
Speaker 1: Um and like, just like remembering the basics to fueling your body and making yourself feel good and even in the busy seasons of life, like morning routine, don't let that slip.
• 26:17
Speaker 1: For me, working out is really important, um, a good night's sleep, good food, like the basic stuff.
• 26:23
Speaker 1: Just ensuring that that's kept up to speed during these busy periods of life, um, so that we don't end up burning out and losing the passion and the excitement that comes with all of that.
• 26:35
Speaker 1: So, anyways, I'm going to leave that there have a beautiful rest of your day week and I'm really excited for you to tune into all of the incredible conversations that are either already out or coming your way.
• 26:51
Speaker 1: And, as always, please let me know what you think about these episodes.
• 26:54
Speaker 1: If you have any requests for the podcast, send them my way.
• 26:57
Speaker 1: If you are wanting to inquire about those final spots for her empire, there are only two left, so don't wait until the new year, because they will be filled by then.
• 27:09
Speaker 1: And yeah, I ensure they're filled because I want to get them all filled before Christmas, because you guys get a welcome pack in the mail and we confirm everything for the new year, so that we can just come back and start together.
• 27:22
Speaker 1: The Academy, my life transformation program that is open at the moment for the six month payment plan.
• 27:27
Speaker 1: It does end on the 31st of December, so if you want to get into the Academy and pay your fees off over six months, then just be mindful of that date.
• 27:35
Speaker 1: As I mentioned becoming the online CEO launching December, the Wealthy Woman is now available for you guys to purchase at any time and work through that money manifestation course which, given the conversation we just had around tax, if you are feeling like you're still in that place of stress and anxiety and fear when it comes to money, then the wealthy woman is literally made for you, so you can grab that.
• 27:57
  Speaker 1: Now.
• 27:58
