Spartanburgers Shut Door on Dash | Greenville News
Spartanburgers shut the door on their season series with a dominant 4-1 win over Winston-Salem, showcasing elite pitching and timely offense. D.J. McCarty struck out seven in nearly five innings, and the bullpen—led by Owen Proksch, J’Briell Easley, and Jesus Gamez—held the Dash to just two hits. Runs came early via a home run, then through smart base running and sacrifice flies, capped off by closer Kai Wynyard’s ninth-inning save. With momentum intact, they head to Asheville for a six-game series against the Astros-affiliated Tourists starting Tuesday night. Support the show:Get a discount…
