Chase Ends in Arrest After Robbery Link | Wilmington News
A routine traffic stop in Whiteville spiraled into a high-stakes chase after officers discovered the vehicle was linked to an armed robbery. Driver Andre Alexander Freeman, 37, and passenger Marissa Garcia, 34, bolted but were quickly apprehended during a foot pursuit. Freeman faces felony charges including stolen vehicle possession, fleeing, and resisting arrest. Garcia is charged with drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
