- 0:48Speaker 2: Throwing it And if you don't get the joke either
- 0:52Speaker 2: Stevie didn't leave the beginning part in the beginning of
- 0:54Speaker 2: the episode, or you'll have to be a member of our.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I think I might leave it in this sweet We
- 0:59Speaker 1: got in to.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Some goofy stuff before we started rolling.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Welcome to b f Y, got some ship out, like
- 1:05Speaker 3: aired some dirty ass launder.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Hold on before we go any further. The worst part
- 1:12Speaker 1: is I didn't turn that bitch al So listen to everything.
- 1:17Speaker 3: It's not the worst thing. It's hurt, I'll be honest.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I mean it's not. But still, oh my god, I'm
- 1:23Speaker 2: not even gonna go into that. Welcome to b f
- 1:27Speaker 2: Y two w uh. It's gonna be a well deserved,
- 1:30Speaker 2: long earned chill show because it feels like we've running
- 1:33Speaker 2: hot for a little while. I can't remember last time
- 1:35Speaker 2: we had a chill show. We've we've done some great games,
- 1:39Speaker 2: and we gave away a ton of money, most of
- 1:43Speaker 2: it mine.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean that's the that's the thing about
- 1:54Speaker 4: you know, doing these shows for you know, and trying
- 1:56Speaker 4: to make them exciting by having some kind of stakes,
- 1:59Speaker 4: even though they're not the highest stakes in the world.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It was still an incredible game in all occasions, like
- 2:05Speaker 2: all of the games we played recently have been incredible.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Win Aaron Radels Money Tic Tac Dough was incredible. It
- 2:12Speaker 2: was such a good game. I mean, the first one
- 2:15Speaker 2: was pretty good, but the second game was so good.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It was brutal amazing. It was incredible. And then the
- 2:23Speaker 2: first episode of The Wrong Show Ever was an absolute banger.
- 2:29Speaker 2: If you not difficult, if you've not listened to that episode,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I highly recommend it. A lot of people seem to
- 2:33Speaker 2: like the show format, which is great, although the prevailing
- 2:37Speaker 2: comment seems to me that it fucks with your brain,
- 2:40Speaker 2: which I kind of like. Honestly, I kind of want
- 2:43Speaker 2: to keep that going. But we had another incredible game there,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and then just let last week another win Aaron Randolph's
- 2:50Speaker 2: Money Dealer, No Deal and Augie has an absolute banger
- 2:54Speaker 2: of a game, literally coming down to the wire. It
- 2:57Speaker 2: was so intense, genuinely incredible. We've had a lot of
- 3:02Speaker 2: fun lately, but but too much fun gets exhausted.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we're so much now we're gonna have anger.
- 3:12Speaker 2: So to recharge, we're enjoying ourselves a little chill show,
- 3:16Speaker 2: which means we're just gonna hang out. We're just gonna
- 3:18Speaker 2: talk about what's going on and what are the apps,
- 3:21Speaker 2: what are we interested in, what's been going on lately,
- 3:23Speaker 2: what's up in our lives? You know, like it? And
- 3:26Speaker 2: some people prefer our chill shows over our regular shows,
- 3:29Speaker 2: which you know that more power to them. Here's another
- 3:32Speaker 2: one for so, I guess I'll start. I don't really
- 3:39Speaker 2: have a plan for this.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Just we didn't do round robin if you want, yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 1: just like bam, you hit a topic and then we
- 3:45Speaker 1: discuss I hit a topic. We discussed all.
- 3:48Speaker 2: That's too organized. Usually when we do a chill show,
- 3:52Speaker 2: we do one person per segment, and that's usually enough.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Like you can talk about the stuff you're doing with
- 3:57Speaker 2: the past week. But to be honest, I haven't done
- 3:59Speaker 2: much to my world. Weirdly, Weirdly, after the pasting, I
- 4:03Speaker 2: gotten Dealer No Deal. I have been obsessed with watching
- 4:06Speaker 2: British Dealer No Deal. As I've heard there are so
- 4:09Speaker 2: many episodes of it on YouTube, so many that you
- 4:12Speaker 2: can just watch.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That's one where they randomly give you a case.
- 4:18Speaker 2: The the other players are people that you've been living
- 4:21Speaker 2: in a hotel with for weeks and months.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Which I loved. That's a reality TV thing.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Well, it makes it more emotional because everybody's tied in.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Everybody wants to see you win because they know you.
- 4:33Speaker 2: They you know, they've been living with you for you know,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and shows. Yeah, it's very interpersonal. A lot of players
- 4:39Speaker 2: talk about like the money doesn't matter, the experience of
- 4:43Speaker 2: being on that show was one of the best experiences
- 4:45Speaker 2: of their lives. That's usually what just because they spent
- 4:48Speaker 2: so much time with all these amazing humans and they
- 4:50Speaker 2: got to see, you know, some of their friends win
- 4:52Speaker 2: big relationships that way not do so well, and you know,
- 4:56Speaker 2: it's it. And what I think I like most about
- 4:59Speaker 2: the show, and something I didn't really pick up on,
- 5:02Speaker 2: is that each episode of British Dealer, No Deal is
- 5:06Speaker 2: pretty much completely different from every other episode simply because
- 5:13Speaker 2: the person playing adds so much to it. Yes, yes,
- 5:17Speaker 2: like not just their personality, because they get to like
- 5:21Speaker 2: move around, they get to talk a lot more than
- 5:23Speaker 2: a contestant on a game show would normally do you know,
- 5:26Speaker 2: especially on a US game show, all you usually get
- 5:29Speaker 2: is Hi, my name is Blah. I do this for
- 5:31Speaker 2: a living, and I did this one unusual thing that
- 5:33Speaker 2: the host will ask me about for two seconds and
- 5:36Speaker 2: then we're just gonna play the game and then there's
- 5:38Speaker 2: no interpersonal stuff at all. But in British Dealer, No Deal,
- 5:42Speaker 2: it's very different. Like the player will talk, you know,
- 5:45Speaker 2: about all the fun times they had with their friends
- 5:47Speaker 2: while they were you know, at the hotel or whatever.
- 5:50Speaker 2: They'll talk about how much they drank, which they apparently
- 5:52Speaker 2: drink a lot of show.
- 5:55Speaker 1: They I mean, to be fair, they don't have a
- 5:57Speaker 1: lot of access to the other alternative, that's right.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I mean they do have access to it, but drinking
- 6:03Speaker 3: is just a pastime for them.
- 6:04Speaker 2: But they also talk about, you know, their lives and
- 6:07Speaker 2: their families and you know, what's going on with them.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And they frequently have at least one person from their
- 6:12Speaker 2: family with them, you know, to help advise them as
- 6:14Speaker 2: they go on their their journey and whatnot. But yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 2: it's so it's so interesting to like, it's it's like
- 6:21Speaker 2: a soap opera contained in a single episode. It's it's
- 6:27Speaker 2: it's very It's like a revolving soap opera kind of.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Okay, yea makes sense.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because it is, it is the same game
- 6:34Speaker 2: every time. Well that's not necessarily true. Sometimes they do
- 6:37Speaker 2: some fun gimmicks and things that mess with the game.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Like one of my favorites I was just watching was
- 6:42Speaker 2: like for Christmas, they had either Santa or Scrooge, and
- 6:46Speaker 2: you basically picked one of like twelve baubles on this tree,
- 6:51Speaker 2: they would lift it up and if they revealed the
- 6:52Speaker 2: Santa Hat instead of after once you reach five bucks,
- 6:56Speaker 2: it's usually open three more boxes to get down to
- 6:58Speaker 2: two and then you get off. You picked the Santa Hat,
- 7:01Speaker 2: you get an offer after every single box. Holy huge,
- 7:05Speaker 2: which really gives the player a lot more power.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 2: However, if you picked the Scrooge, the banker gets to
- 7:12Speaker 2: look inside your box.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Oh no, banker.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Gets to know what's there, dude, that's cool.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Reaction.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and and ever, no matter what they picked, it
- 7:26Speaker 2: made the game very interesting interesting. Yeah, yeah, it was it.
- 7:32Speaker 2: So they had a they had a very they were
- 7:34Speaker 2: very good about not like introducing gimmicks that didn't really
- 7:40Speaker 2: do anything for the gameplay. Like I remember one dealing
- 7:44Speaker 2: no deal. They had like a celebrity cameo show up
- 7:46Speaker 2: in the middle just to be like, hey, cheering you on.
- 7:49Speaker 2: It's he's my favorite celebrity blah blah blah. I can't
- 7:51Speaker 2: remember who it was, Like there were there were a
- 7:54Speaker 2: bunch of them. Donald Trump did one, Like there were
- 7:57Speaker 2: so many different celebrity cameos on doing it was usually
- 8:00Speaker 2: like the player's favorite personality or whatever, and they would
- 8:03Speaker 2: come on, they would cheer them on and they try
- 8:05Speaker 2: to advise them, but obviously they didn't want to influence
- 8:07Speaker 2: their game too much. So yeah, you know, but like
- 8:11Speaker 2: it doesn't really do anything. It's a stunt.
- 8:14Speaker 3: It's a stunt, doesn't do anything no matter what you do,
- 8:18Speaker 3: whether someone else chooses it for you or you choose it,
- 8:21Speaker 3: it's all probability.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So but when they when the British changed the game
- 8:25Speaker 2: in some small way, it's usually to either suddenly change
- 8:30Speaker 2: the gameplay so it's now a little bit more interesting,
- 8:33Speaker 2: it's it's out of the usual. It's it's it's different,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and it might be more strategy or it might yeah exactly,
- 8:40Speaker 2: it'll be more unpredictable.
- 8:41Speaker 1: What's it going to bring more people? Because that's a drawling,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you know with that Santa Ship. I want to watch that.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Another thing that they did was they they had the
- 8:49Speaker 2: host had a little Christmas boxes, tiny little red boxes,
- 8:54Speaker 2: like wrapped up like you know for Christmas like presents, uh,
- 8:57Speaker 2: and inside each of them was a fifty pound note,
- 9:00Speaker 2: and if you did something that enhanced or added flavor
- 9:03Speaker 2: to the game, he would give you one of those boxes.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And that was to anybody, whether they were playing or
- 9:07Speaker 2: in the audience. What yeah, yeah, we just literally hand
- 9:09Speaker 2: out fifty bucks if you well, not fifty bucks, but
- 9:12Speaker 2: fifty pounds. But I think it's more than fifty bucks.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah, fifty two or yeah, fifty two something.
- 9:18Speaker 2: No, it's more than that. It yea. The dollar is
- 9:21Speaker 2: very weak right now, I think.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But anyway, Bush ups.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So it was just very cool. Like towards the end,
- 9:28Speaker 2: you know, he was obviously just like here, take the box,
- 9:30Speaker 2: just like just just starts throwing like tons of them
- 9:33Speaker 2: in people, and the players are like not like hoarding
- 9:36Speaker 2: them like an American would. They're literally like handing them
- 9:38Speaker 2: out to the other players in the row.
- 9:40Speaker 3: And I'm like, yes, Jesus, they have morals.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, they're not greedy.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Fucks Jesus greedy focks.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Back to.
- 9:54Speaker 3: The sentiment of intermotional stuff. I get that because in
- 9:59Speaker 3: a way we kind of have that here on our
- 10:00Speaker 3: own show. With some of the game shows we do, like,
- 10:03Speaker 3: I mean, case in point, the last game show we did, like,
- 10:07Speaker 3: even though it was your money, I was winning, you
- 10:10Speaker 3: were still cheering beyond Yeah. No, I wanted to because
- 10:14Speaker 3: we've been doing this for five six years.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I genuinely wanted his game to be exciting, which meant
- 10:20Speaker 2: I wanted the stakes to ramp up. And the players
- 10:24Speaker 2: listening knew when you had me beat, like, they knew
- 10:27Speaker 2: and that deal was like.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And so they were probably like, why is he still going,
- 10:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, he's still going, Oh my god.
- 10:32Speaker 2: He's risking it.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Someone drag him off the stage, And that.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Made the decision to go when there was just two
- 10:39Speaker 2: amounts left and you knew going in that one of
- 10:42Speaker 2: them would win and the other would lose. Yeah, the
- 10:44Speaker 2: fact that you put it down to a fifty to
- 10:46Speaker 2: fifty amazing.
- 10:47Speaker 1: It's awesome. I love it.
- 10:49Speaker 2: It was amazing. I would have it no other way.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It was so good. It was so good. So Yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 2: So I've been watching a lot of that I've been,
- 10:58Speaker 2: you know, adding episodes to my me service so I
- 11:00Speaker 2: can watch them whenever. Oh cool, Yeah, having a blast
- 11:04Speaker 2: with that, enjoying the deal and no deal goodness. I've
- 11:06Speaker 2: worked on a couple of really exciting game shows for
- 11:10Speaker 2: the gate Leabers Bonus Round, and we're recording two in
- 11:13Speaker 2: a row.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Oh shoot, nice.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Next week, I think just after next weekend, which next
- 11:19Speaker 2: weekend is gonna.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Be crazy going on I do.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I'm doing next weekend is gonna be nuts. You're not
- 11:26Speaker 2: gonna actually hear from me next weekend? Why because I'm
- 11:29Speaker 2: not gonna be here fuck Saturday all Saturday long. I'm
- 11:33Speaker 2: doing something called the Cozy Fall Book Crawl, and it's
- 11:38Speaker 2: it's in my hometown and there's a bookstore there that
- 11:41Speaker 2: I've been doing great business with and I absolutely love them,
- 11:44Speaker 2: and they're doing this thing where we set up little
- 11:48Speaker 2: tables and I don't know exactly where. I think they
- 11:51Speaker 2: might be running either up and down the sidewalk or
- 11:54Speaker 2: in the parking lot that's nearby. Oh, I'm not sure
- 11:58Speaker 2: exactly where. We're basically gonna there's gonna be a bunch
- 12:00Speaker 2: of local authors there with their books on display and
- 12:02Speaker 2: available for purchase and uh.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Are you one of those?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, So this week I'm going to be trying to
- 12:10Speaker 2: get myself a little like folding card table, something I
- 12:12Speaker 2: can easily manage because dear God, Okay, and just get
- 12:17Speaker 2: a chair and just I have to. The shitty part
- 12:20Speaker 2: is it starts at eight a m. Well, to be fair,
- 12:25Speaker 2: it starts at nine. But the yeah, I did so
- 12:31Speaker 2: on a Saturday. I'm gonna be getting up at seven
- 12:34Speaker 2: in the morning and I'm gonna be cursing this bookstore
- 12:38Speaker 2: out for all I'm wore. But to be fair, they've
- 12:40Speaker 2: been incredibly good to me, so I can at least
- 12:43Speaker 2: I can do this and maybe I'll get to sell
- 12:45Speaker 2: a few more books and put a little extra money
- 12:46Speaker 2: in my pocket. Yeah, to make up for all the
- 12:48Speaker 2: money that you took from me. So, to be fair,
- 12:57Speaker 2: one and I wanted him to win. Yeah, it couldn't help,
- 13:00Speaker 2: but cheering them on because it was so good A
- 13:03Speaker 2: great game anyway. So yeah, that's what's going on. That's
- 13:10Speaker 2: what's coming up. I'm really excited about those games I
- 13:13Speaker 2: put to go for. I don't want to ruin anything.
- 13:16Speaker 2: There are three bonus rounds left, and when I tell you,
- 13:20Speaker 2: they are going to be fucking epic. I am so
- 13:24Speaker 2: excited for for what I've done for for these they're
- 13:27Speaker 2: the good news is the work is done. I'm literally
- 13:30Speaker 2: just waiting to do it. So I'm super excited. It's
- 13:33Speaker 2: going to be great. Uh and anything we do with
- 13:35Speaker 2: the gate Leabers is a very fun a very fun time.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Actually, speaking of the gayly Bris real quick, we might
- 13:41Speaker 1: as well say it because I got the email today.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Oh really yeah, So I didn't want to say you
- 13:47Speaker 1: want to see you. I didn't see it, so it's in.
- 13:49Speaker 1: It's in our So I saw it this morning. They're
- 13:53Speaker 1: just confirming our dates and they are correct dates and stuff,
- 13:56Speaker 1: so I know you got to talk to them about
- 13:58Speaker 1: the one day, yeah, one time or whatever. But yeah,
- 14:02Speaker 1: the one thing, you know, we're all looking good for
- 14:04Speaker 1: Colorado Springs.
- 14:05Speaker 2: We are good.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah for December fifth and six. Yeah yeah, so yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 1: we haven't. I haven't read it all the way because
- 14:12Speaker 1: I was preoccupied of doing other things.
- 14:14Speaker 3: So yeah, episode just to say it at the edge
- 14:17Speaker 3: of says just kidding.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Episode three hundred. Episode three hundred is coming together. It
- 14:23Speaker 2: is coming together. It's gonna be Episodes two ninety nine
- 14:26Speaker 2: and three hundred or three hundred and three hundred one.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I'm not sure it's gonna be like three h ten
- 14:31Speaker 3: or some ship. Yeah, we sucked up our system so
- 14:37Speaker 3: long ago, and it's like, yeah, it's actually not. We
- 14:40Speaker 3: hit episode three one hundred episodes ago.
- 14:43Speaker 2: It's not the one hundred, good Lord, but it made
- 14:47Speaker 2: more like seventeen. Yeah, it's we did do a bunch
- 14:51Speaker 2: of funnal eight numbered it's double. That's all matter. Let's
- 14:54Speaker 2: just stretch out the time.
- 14:55Speaker 1: We wanted to make it special for You's all listen.
- 15:00Speaker 3: The number doesn't really matter. Tasks, the time we spent together.
- 15:03Speaker 3: The last six years have been six.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Years struggling to get this out. Task Master is such
- 15:08Speaker 2: a labor intensive show. It takes a lot of work
- 15:12Speaker 2: ahead of time to get it to work. So yeah,
- 15:15Speaker 2: it's you know, I'm still in the middle of doing it.
- 15:18Speaker 2: So we needed the extra time, and we needed it
- 15:20Speaker 2: this time. But this time we were smart enough to
- 15:22Speaker 2: prepare well in advance.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Such a year, a full fucking year buying the tickets.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Now, I'm surprised you waited a year.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I thought you would do more.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Honestly, I'd have been like two years ago.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Just too much going on.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I mean we we talked about doing it for episode
- 15:39Speaker 2: two hundred, Yeah we did.
- 15:40Speaker 1: We didn't it was too soon.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Instead, we wound up doing a huge game show montage
- 15:45Speaker 2: which was just about as much fun ye crazy as well. Yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 2: so yeah, that's what's going on episode three hundred.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'm excited for that ship man, so exciting.
- 15:58Speaker 2: And next week, like I said, I'm not going to
- 15:59Speaker 2: be here because that cozy fall book crawls. So instead
- 16:02Speaker 2: I cooked up a little something did you cook? Nothing?
- 16:07Speaker 2: Nothing tasty. I'm afraid it'll be audibly tasty as supposed
- 16:14Speaker 2: to audibly tasty, aurally tasty instead of tasty. I'm gonna
- 16:24Speaker 2: give you some al Anyway, I cooked up a game
- 16:28Speaker 2: for you to play while I'm gone, and I'm gonna
- 16:33Speaker 2: try and set that up today before I leave, so
- 16:36Speaker 2: that you're that you're ready to do it. But I
- 16:40Speaker 2: just realized something. It was funny, Like I struggled so
- 16:43Speaker 2: hard with like how am I gonna get this run without?
- 16:45Speaker 2: Because when you open this in the programs, you're gonna
- 16:48Speaker 2: see like the main slide, but then you're gonna see
- 16:51Speaker 2: the slides on the left to like, so you'll you'll
- 16:54Speaker 2: you'll be like ruined on three of the things. But
- 16:57Speaker 2: I just figured out on the drive over how I
- 16:59Speaker 2: can fix that. So I might need a few minutes
- 17:01Speaker 2: alone with your computer in this room.
- 17:04Speaker 1: No game system. Is this revenge?
- 17:10Speaker 2: I swear to god. We have a sparing sexual Everything
- 17:16Speaker 2: sexual I do is videotaped. You know that, I know.
- 17:19Speaker 1: But are you gonna video the suspiciously as he doing
- 17:25Speaker 1: to my ship in here?
- 17:27Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 17:27Speaker 1: His pants are coming.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Off, that's funny. I seen this happen.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I have enough to give money a hair and back
- 17:41Speaker 3: his money.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Amazing. So yeah, So I have a little game cooked
- 17:46Speaker 2: up for you.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Uh.
- 17:47Speaker 2: You are going to have to guess which cast member,
- 17:51Speaker 2: former or present cast member of B F Y t
- 17:54Speaker 2: W or guest. And you're gonna have to guess which
- 17:59Speaker 2: guest to buy their three favorite movies. So you'll see
- 18:03Speaker 2: a slide with three movie posters show up, and that
- 18:06Speaker 2: will be one of our or a guest's favorite three movies,
- 18:11Speaker 2: no way, And so you'll have to figure out which
- 18:14Speaker 2: guest that is based on their favorites. I'm so curious
- 18:17Speaker 2: to see what you're gonna say about some of these movies.
- 18:20Speaker 2: This is gonna be interesting.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I want to know what about I don't even know
- 18:22Speaker 1: what my favorite movie.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, you're the only person whose favorite movies
- 18:26Speaker 2: aren't on this list.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Practically, Oh I see, okay, yeah, so I'll be i'llere yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:34Speaker 2: If anything, I would like you to be in charge
- 18:36Speaker 2: of the the keeypboard and or mouse for this day.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Left me the keys.
- 18:42Speaker 1: God damn it. Well, you know I've never been in charge.
- 18:44Speaker 1: When you leave, it's always all but.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You get to play the game.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Like, because I'm the oldest stev mentally.
- 18:52Speaker 2: He's the most mature. That's not saying much, but yeah, no,
- 18:58Speaker 2: it should be really cool. I I got twenty people.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Holy I got twenty people to give me their at
- 19:06Speaker 2: So yeah, it won't be a slow down.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 19:10Speaker 2: If you just take like a couple of minutes talking
- 19:12Speaker 2: about the movies and like, oh yes, list out the
- 19:16Speaker 2: people who you think it could be like, I'll give
- 19:18Speaker 2: you a master list that will include one or two
- 19:21Speaker 2: red herrings people who are not in that list at all,
- 19:24Speaker 2: just to make sure it stays interesting.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Right now, do you know, I'm gonna ask him every
- 19:27Speaker 3: reason why he's making that choice. He's going to have
- 19:30Speaker 3: to justify.
- 19:31Speaker 2: It if you just take a few minutes like that
- 19:33Speaker 2: game should fill up the full episode. So that should
- 19:36Speaker 2: be a lot of fun, and it should be a
- 19:38Speaker 2: good treat for our video, Like why do you think
- 19:40Speaker 2: it's that par video watchers on Patreon or even if
- 19:43Speaker 2: you put it on YouTube. I mean that, Yeah, up
- 19:46Speaker 2: to you.
- 19:46Speaker 1: But oh my god, this's a great idea.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it'd be cool. But but like I said,
- 19:51Speaker 2: it's just a slide show, Like you'll see the three
- 19:53Speaker 2: favorite movies and the very next slides is the person's
- 19:55Speaker 2: name in their face. So you know, so just to
- 19:58Speaker 2: make sure you don't accidentally get spoiled, you have a
- 20:00Speaker 2: thing I'm going to do to fix that, So crop
- 20:02Speaker 2: it or something I'm going to Uh, I'm going to
- 20:05Speaker 2: add slides like a countdown like ready three two one,
- 20:09Speaker 2: so that when you load it you'll just see the
- 20:11Speaker 2: ready three to one and won't see any the spoilers.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Smart I like that.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I just came up with that. In the car
- 20:16Speaker 2: drive over here, I'm like, oh, ship, that would be
- 20:18Speaker 2: really easy. I can fix that.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Is this in uh what was that presentation program called PowerPoint?
- 20:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 20:23Speaker 3: Yeah, only presentation problem.
- 20:27Speaker 1: I used to rock this in school. When we were
- 20:29Speaker 1: in school, computers weren't that like available, man, And when
- 20:33Speaker 1: I would come up with a presentation, they just be like,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you get an A. I'm like, you damn right, because
- 20:39Speaker 1: I know how to.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Use a computer and you get a D.
- 20:48Speaker 1: If I said that to it, you can't. I wouldn't
- 20:55Speaker 1: if I did, I wouldn't not. Now, No, that's harassment.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Now yeah, yeah, that's just worker.
- 21:02Speaker 1: No, you don't do that. You don't do it at all.
- 21:06Speaker 1: That's not right.
- 21:07Speaker 2: That's how you get fire.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You wait till summertime.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Contract.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I feel like we've been talking about me and my
- 21:18Speaker 2: stuff for longer. So that's what I've got going on.
- 21:21Speaker 2: That's what's coming up for next week. So I hope
- 21:23Speaker 2: you guys enjoy that. You will be doing it without me.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Sadly interesting fun. I'm excited to hear it.
- 21:30Speaker 3: It'll be cats trying to wrangle cat situation.
- 21:33Speaker 1: We should bring the cats down.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Either fun or a major could be fun.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Which, yes, I'm excited.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I can see them getting very upset.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I'm excited to see what you do with I really
- 21:44Speaker 1: am all right.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be fun, all right.
- 21:49Speaker 2: In that case, We'll be right back and we're gonna
- 21:51Speaker 2: find out what one of these two weirdos is gonna
- 21:53Speaker 2: has been up to right after this.
- 22:04Speaker 5: If you like fun, then you're gonna love the beard
- 22:07Speaker 5: Out Podcast.
- 22:08Speaker 2: It's a podcast where we talk about.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Two of the greatest things in the world, beer and
- 22:12Speaker 5: weird Out. And frankly, we talk more about weird Out
- 22:16Speaker 5: than anything because he's the.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Gift that keeps on given.
- 22:19Speaker 5: So join us as we talk through weird Al's career,
- 22:23Speaker 5: what he needs to us, and we have some very
- 22:26Speaker 5: special guests on to discuss the magic that is Alfred
- 22:29Speaker 5: Matthew Yankovic.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Beard Out part of the Odd God Media Network. Hey man,
- 22:49Speaker 2: welcome back. It's well, it's a chill show. So it
- 22:53Speaker 2: doesn't matter who's.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Winning, nobody, we're all loser.
- 23:00Speaker 2: There's no teams. It's all in good fun.
- 23:05Speaker 1: It is.
- 23:06Speaker 2: So I've spent a bunch of time talking about when
- 23:09Speaker 2: I've been up to what about you guys, Oh.
- 23:11Speaker 1: My god, when you do some together things check this
- 23:14Speaker 1: shit out. Yea Oggie and I started building our own
- 23:16Speaker 1: computer desks.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Oh really rooms?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Okay, So I was on a website that I get
- 23:24Speaker 1: really good discounts on and they had the automatic electric
- 23:30Speaker 1: raising legs and stuff and old like one hundred and
- 23:32Speaker 1: sixty two pounds for three hundred and sixty eight dollars
- 23:35Speaker 1: off costing only sixty nine dollars. And I was like, well,
- 23:39Speaker 1: that's got to be a fucking sign. So I was like, oh,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I put one in my cart right away because duh.
- 23:45Speaker 1: And then I'm look at Auge. I'm like, yo, you
- 23:48Speaker 1: want these, dude. He's like yeah, I'm like, fucking do
- 23:51Speaker 1: with these bitches and the cartlets do this shit. So
- 23:54Speaker 1: they fucking came in and good packaging, great packaging actually
- 23:58Speaker 1: for what they were like everything gorgeous white, everything, all steel,
- 24:02Speaker 1: like it's good. It's not like the cheap metal and
- 24:05Speaker 1: ship or plastic. And I was so I was really
- 24:07Speaker 1: worried about everything's cool O. And I got the box
- 24:12Speaker 1: open in the living or in the kitchen, started putting
- 24:14Speaker 1: the legs together, you know, following instructions, having a good
- 24:17Speaker 1: time turning screws. And then he's like, oh, no, wait
- 24:21Speaker 1: a minute, we didn't even do that yet. No. We
- 24:23Speaker 1: went to the store first.
- 24:25Speaker 2: I forgot.
- 24:27Speaker 1: We actually went to the store, the hardware store.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Any of us.
- 24:32Speaker 1: We went to a hardware store, and I bought wood
- 24:34Speaker 1: for the tops of our desks.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Are you as high as the whole time?
- 24:37Speaker 1: No?
- 24:37Speaker 3: I just don't think I remember any of this.
- 24:40Speaker 1: So yeah, we went to the store, got some woodtops,
- 24:44Speaker 1: came home. I started paint, staining mine and sealing mine.
- 24:48Speaker 1: That's the top of my desk, I see. Yeah, And
- 24:51Speaker 1: then uh, you decided, Hey, you know what, I'm not
- 24:54Speaker 1: gonna use the wood that we bought for his. He's
- 24:58Speaker 1: gonna see if he can take the top off his desk, like,
- 25:00Speaker 1: take the legs off the desk he already has and
- 25:02Speaker 1: put these new like like movable ones in. There's electronic,
- 25:06Speaker 1: oh shit, hydraulic ones. And we get the legs together
- 25:10Speaker 1: and he takes the top of his desk off, takes
- 25:13Speaker 1: the legs out. We bring it over. We screw this
- 25:16Speaker 1: bitch into it, flip it back over. He gets it
- 25:19Speaker 1: into place, gets all the shit hooked up. Its fucking dude,
- 25:22Speaker 1: describe this fucking thing.
- 25:24Speaker 2: So what he's.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Describing as a standing desk basically a standing sitting desk,
- 25:29Speaker 3: an electronic one.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I just plug it into a wall.
- 25:32Speaker 3: It's got a little device that you screw in somewhere
- 25:35Speaker 3: or just have it hang off somewhere and you can
- 25:37Speaker 3: control it going up and down. It goes up high
- 25:39Speaker 3: as like thirty eight inches and then as low as
- 25:44Speaker 3: like I don't know, it's something crazy, but basically you can.
- 25:49Speaker 3: For me, you can comfortably stand and be on the
- 25:52Speaker 3: computer at the same time or comfortably sit and be
- 25:56Speaker 3: on the computer at the same time. So this thing
- 25:58Speaker 3: just kind of looks like a you know, the freaking.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Ats t legs.
- 26:08Speaker 3: It's got like the knees, yeah, but instead of backwards knees,
- 26:12Speaker 3: they're straight, and the bottom part just kind of looks
- 26:15Speaker 3: like weird chicken feet. And we were worried that we
- 26:20Speaker 3: like this, he's gonna fucking tip, this is gonna have
- 26:23Speaker 3: too much weight on one side and just go But yeah, exactly,
- 26:30Speaker 3: and thankfully it works perfectly. And it's so great because
- 26:35Speaker 3: I've been having a lot of back problems sitting at
- 26:37Speaker 3: my desk for a long periods of time. Because now
- 26:39Speaker 3: I'm finally out of work, I take a lot of
- 26:43Speaker 3: time just sitting in front of my computer, and my
- 26:45Speaker 3: posture is fucking horrendous. So this helps a lot with it.
- 26:49Speaker 3: It also helps with at the end of the night
- 26:51Speaker 3: when I'm like I want to stay up and play
- 26:53Speaker 3: a game with Stevie before he has to go to
- 26:55Speaker 3: bed and go to work.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Which isn't long.
- 26:58Speaker 3: It's like I'm sitting there and we're like, okay, I'm
- 27:02Speaker 3: sitting here, I'm falling asleep, sitting up.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna go to bed.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Now I can be like I forced myself to stand,
- 27:08Speaker 3: force myself to stay awake, actually be able to still
- 27:11Speaker 3: operate late at night without having to worry about dozing
- 27:14Speaker 3: off in a chair halfway through a game, which is
- 27:17Speaker 3: quite often.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, So I'm I'm I'm excited because he's been
- 27:21Speaker 1: freaking loving it, and I'm like, man, I can't wait
- 27:24Speaker 1: to make mine and get it all set up because
- 27:26Speaker 1: right now I'm still using that giant l desk we
- 27:28Speaker 1: had before we had the studio and we were doing
- 27:30Speaker 1: the show upstairs, and that thing takes up a good
- 27:33Speaker 1: chunk of my nine by nine room. So it's like, okay.
- 27:36Speaker 1: So I talked to Pixie and she's like, I'll take
- 27:39Speaker 1: you it, and I'm like set, So I'm hoping later
- 27:42Speaker 1: today she has most of her office cleared out so
- 27:44Speaker 1: I could take it apart with Augie breaking all the
- 27:46Speaker 1: way down the stairs put it in there, put it
- 27:49Speaker 1: back together, and I can put that thing on my
- 27:51Speaker 1: legs and get mine up there, which would also like
- 27:54Speaker 1: free up a good like four to five feet in
- 27:56Speaker 1: my room. So I'm like, let's fucking get this shit excited.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And I got they used.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Tools and ship. That's very cool.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I enjoy I miss I missed doing like building projects.
- 28:07Speaker 1: It's fun. Man. No, I'm gonna what I'm gonna order
- 28:10Speaker 1: some shelves. You want to come over and put them
- 28:11Speaker 1: together with it?
- 28:12Speaker 2: No, I meant specifically like building computers.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And oh oh yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I built one game table and I was walked through
- 28:22Speaker 2: the whole way because I knew less than shit about
- 28:25Speaker 2: what I was doing. So I don't think it's wise
- 28:29Speaker 2: if I put up your shelves, they will collapse before
- 28:33Speaker 2: I leave the house.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So that's fair. That's fair. We got to start a
- 28:38Speaker 1: computer business. I'll tell you what we should all just
- 28:41Speaker 1: put all the parts we have together and see what
- 28:43Speaker 1: we can build.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Like a couple of decent graphics cards. I mean, they're
- 28:46Speaker 2: a little old now. I got a nine seventy nine
- 28:48Speaker 2: to sixty, but they're both.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Still do so all I got tons of drives and
- 28:51Speaker 1: rams and you could still.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Make us fans sweet retro system.
- 28:56Speaker 1: We should do that and try to sell I mean
- 28:57Speaker 1: get rid of our parts in a good way. Yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 1: you know it's that way. I mean somebody else is
- 29:01Speaker 1: using them. And Ship. I think it'd be cool, mostly
- 29:02Speaker 1: because I gotta get rid of the Ship in my
- 29:04Speaker 1: fucking hallway here and it's worse. Shit. I'm like, I
- 29:07Speaker 1: don't want to just like throw it out or anything.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I'm like, what do I use it for my backups? Obviously,
- 29:12Speaker 1: but it's like, come on, it'll be cool. Yeah, hell yeah.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Other than that, uh been podcasting with our buddy Jabbo
- 29:21Speaker 1: with our new mashed Potatoes thing Mashed. Yeah, we've been
- 29:26Speaker 1: talking about that. I can't wait. Man, he logos are great.
- 29:30Speaker 1: All he's joining us tomorrow. We're gonna record tomorrow and
- 29:33Speaker 1: like New Nish and Ship, I know you're busy and stuff,
- 29:36Speaker 1: but anytime we record, you are obviously walcome to come
- 29:39Speaker 1: hang out with us because I think it's it's a
- 29:41Speaker 1: fun destress. It would just be as man for like
- 29:43Speaker 1: an hour and a half. It sounds like yeah, yeah,
- 29:48Speaker 1: kind of energy House. I want to say this outside
- 29:56Speaker 1: of break time. I love Energy House. So much. We
- 29:59Speaker 1: went there again, and we've been getting these badass drinks
- 30:04Speaker 1: extremely healthy I added hydration or protein, whatever you really want,
- 30:09Speaker 1: and they're stupid reasonable Transit road in Lockport like right
- 30:15Speaker 1: next tours tater cakes too. I didn't go today because
- 30:20Speaker 1: I was feeling like I ate way too much sweets
- 30:22Speaker 1: the last two like weeks, so I've been trying to
- 30:25Speaker 1: cut back.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I bought one hundred and fifty five piece candy variety
- 30:30Speaker 1: bag and I had to have eaten one hundred and
- 30:33Speaker 1: thirty of them myself in the span of five days
- 30:37Speaker 1: eighty six. Yeah, so I was like, you know what.
- 30:41Speaker 2: To be fair, you do need to gain some weight.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I do, but I burn it so I burned sugar
- 30:45Speaker 1: so fast it doesn't stick with me. I need like
- 30:49Speaker 1: real weight stuff. Meat, yeah, yeah, pretty much meat potatoes,
- 30:54Speaker 1: Like yeah, I love meat and veg. But it'd be
- 30:57Speaker 1: the best I think it would.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Is that I.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Forgot we were doing a podcast.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Did I hear?
- 31:07Speaker 2: I heard?
- 31:08Speaker 3: I heard I heard beating badge?
- 31:12Speaker 2: You did. I'm just making sure I didn't.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Miss hear something because I'm like, literally said, I here
- 31:17Speaker 3: going he enjoys eating both.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I do. I really it's not going to be an
- 31:22Speaker 2: issue and not at all, not at all, mooral not oral.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I'm not going to turn that down. No,
- 31:32Speaker 2: not at all.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Second right, I'm trying to think what's been going on.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I've been just working my ass off, getting up at
- 31:42Speaker 1: five am and then at school at six and just cooking.
- 31:46Speaker 1: It's been a challenge every week, but still doing it.
- 31:50Speaker 1: We're only in the third week. I don't know how
- 31:52Speaker 1: there's twenty six and a half weeks left. No, sorry,
- 31:56Speaker 1: that's incorrect, thirty seven and a half. Thirty six and
- 31:58Speaker 1: a half weeks.
- 31:59Speaker 2: If you're enjoying the show, share it with a friend
- 32:01Speaker 2: and have them share with friend and so on and
- 32:03Speaker 2: so forth, so we get the kind of listenership where
- 32:05Speaker 2: we can do this for a living. Please.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I do love it, though, but I am I'm able
- 32:10Speaker 1: to experiment more this year with the food, which is awesome.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I got a wide variety of a lot more ingredients,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and I mean.
- 32:16Speaker 2: You're completely in charge. Yeah nothing, You're doing everything.
- 32:20Speaker 1: It's crazy. I love it. I hate some things, but
- 32:24Speaker 1: it's like you know rules or rules, but I love
- 32:27Speaker 1: the cooking. Yeah. Yeah, I can't blare my rap music
- 32:31Speaker 1: in the back of the school kitchen.
- 32:32Speaker 2: You can't tell the teachers they're getting a D this year.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 32:40Speaker 3: It's a show, you know, I say, HR is just
- 32:45Speaker 3: there to protect a company.
- 32:48Speaker 1: By firing their cooking. It wasn't that D the.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Fourth one in the help a bit good luck?
- 33:05Speaker 1: That's funny. Another thing all three of us part took
- 33:10Speaker 1: in was D and D this week. Yeah, which we
- 33:13Speaker 1: got very very little done.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Why but I mean we got to so you really
- 33:23Speaker 3: don't need to rush into it.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, I feel like we fucked something up there.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I feel like I feel like we would have been
- 33:29Speaker 2: better off if we had just done what I suggested.
- 33:32Speaker 2: To be fair, my character is not He's not evil,
- 33:35Speaker 2: but he's not good either. No, he's just This is
- 33:38Speaker 2: the first, the first true neutral character I've ever played,
- 33:41Speaker 2: and I've actually kind of enjoyed it because that opens
- 33:43Speaker 2: up options to me that I've never had before. So
- 33:46Speaker 2: when we walked into this situation where they're the spectral beings,
- 33:50Speaker 2: were like, you know, one must die, one must die,
- 33:53Speaker 2: and we're all we're all talking about what can we do.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Let's just let's just leave. Whatever the penalty is, we
- 33:57Speaker 2: can take care of it blah blah blah, And it
- 33:59Speaker 2: turns out that's what we did. But the whole place collapse,
- 34:01Speaker 2: so we couldn't like explore or find anything new, and
- 34:05Speaker 2: we didn't really get to explore the whole place anyway,
- 34:08Speaker 2: Like we just kind of kept going in one direction
- 34:10Speaker 2: and kept finding stuff that led us straight there. So,
- 34:14Speaker 2: but my character offered the option that it's like, hey,
- 34:16Speaker 2: I have this robe of wonders thing that can provide
- 34:19Speaker 2: actual living beings. If I pull this patch, I get
- 34:22Speaker 2: a horse. And if I pull this patch, I get
- 34:24Speaker 2: two mastiffs. We can keep one mastiff. And they didn't.
- 34:29Speaker 2: They didn't like the idea of going, hey, let's kill
- 34:31Speaker 2: these animal.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Best part was like, hey, I got a patch that
- 34:34Speaker 3: makes me summon two masters. We could kill one of
- 34:37Speaker 3: the masters. And we all looked at it, like the
- 34:40Speaker 3: DM me the other players looked at I'm going, you're
- 34:44Speaker 3: gonna fucking kill a dog.
- 34:45Speaker 1: It's like, that's fucked up.
- 34:46Speaker 2: You're not.
- 34:48Speaker 3: The dark gods of this realm suddenly don't want you
- 34:51Speaker 3: here anymore, dude, that's up.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Even the spectrum Raith stopped chanting and they're like, WHOA,
- 34:58Speaker 2: all right, g.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Gotta like that.
- 35:02Speaker 2: The specterized, whoa we said one didn't mean to dog.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Largely it's human or something.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Usually one of you fools, What the fuck you're cultist,
- 35:13Speaker 3: not monsters, Let's get this straight.
- 35:18Speaker 1: But it was so fucking fun Like, god, damn that whole.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Horse idea that I'm just like, well, that could work.
- 35:25Speaker 3: That's so fucking funny. It's so smart, and you're gonna
- 35:29Speaker 3: just I was gonna make it the dumbest fucking horse period,
- 35:31Speaker 3: So like whoever had to do it, And I'll be like, oh, yell,
- 35:34Speaker 3: are it just like it just looks at you with
- 35:37Speaker 3: dirty eyes with his tongue. Hey, buddy, like we gotta
- 35:43Speaker 3: do that.
- 35:43Speaker 2: You won't even feel it. I swear it's.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Been a long night. The sun's going down, Bud. You
- 35:48Speaker 1: just turn around for me. Just watch the sun.
- 35:54Speaker 2: You're in a dungeon.
- 35:55Speaker 3: There's no suns.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's dark. Never mind click click, and we
- 36:04Speaker 1: got food, like you know, it's a wind.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Even if Gallagher the horse, it's still to say there's
- 36:14Speaker 3: still counting.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, is he like the only comedian you
- 36:19Speaker 1: can use as a verb for somebody kind of like
- 36:23Speaker 1: you can't Seinfeld the Horse's.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Because if you say, carratop, you're referencing somebody's right hair.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Mean calling anyone a Robin Williams is a fucking honor
- 36:34Speaker 3: and off.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I suppose you could carlin something. Finding a witty
- 36:43Speaker 2: wordy way to describe.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Something definitely be a compliment one.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Yeah, gall about necessarily it didn't. It is fucking funny. Yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 3: it is funny for splattering horse.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, we didn't wind We didn't wind up doing that.
- 37:03Speaker 2: We didn't because my my, the other members my party
- 37:06Speaker 2: are slightly more I don't know what's the word evil.
- 37:12Speaker 2: He bumble is not evil.
- 37:14Speaker 1: He's just no, just a summoned.
- 37:18Speaker 3: Which was bumble to a situation something worse it was
- 37:22Speaker 3: it was ultimately did in the.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Like here's an option. Yeah no, and it didn't say
- 37:26Speaker 2: he didn't just do it. If he was true evil,
- 37:29Speaker 2: he would have just done yeah horse, Yeah, it would
- 37:32Speaker 2: just pull the patch immediately and you know, vaporized the
- 37:36Speaker 2: horse or whatever.
- 37:37Speaker 1: And then the downside to that would have been would
- 37:39Speaker 1: have been awesome. Though, we find this giant horde of
- 37:42Speaker 1: money with this cart, but no horse to pull it then,
- 37:48Speaker 1: and that's when the DM is like no weight is
- 37:51Speaker 1: an issue this time. How much you carrying.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Fuck would have been very.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Shoot, like I understand it, but like these campaigns give
- 38:03Speaker 3: you so much ship and nowhere to stuff it.
- 38:09Speaker 2: I want. I wanted to just briefly ask. I know
- 38:11Speaker 2: we're in the middle of the podcast and whatnot, but
- 38:13Speaker 2: Hockey that idea, that that that the walter said to
- 38:18Speaker 2: actually let the ferry out of the automaton and then automaton.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Would that have worked?
- 38:25Speaker 1: I forgot about that.
- 38:27Speaker 2: The reason I ask is because I was I was
- 38:29Speaker 2: googling this particular event after the fact, just because I
- 38:34Speaker 2: wanted to see if we screwed it up. I felt
- 38:36Speaker 2: like we did. I wanted to see if we had.
- 38:39Speaker 3: So we were playing the traditional way, and that is
- 38:42Speaker 3: to say, the fairy and the war Forces are two
- 38:44Speaker 3: separate beings and not just one piloting the other. Yes,
- 38:47Speaker 3: because the Warforts would have his own soul. In this case,
- 38:51Speaker 3: the Warforces is being piloted by another person and therefore
- 38:53Speaker 3: doesn't have its own soul. Wouldn't have counted because you
- 38:56Speaker 3: would have damaged an inanimate object, not a he goes
- 38:59Speaker 3: through it entry mode. Interesting, now, if you would have
- 39:02Speaker 3: grabbed a rat off the floor, and stabbed it.
- 39:04Speaker 2: That would have worked. Were there rats in the room.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Just an example, can you some rats with your cloak?
- 39:11Speaker 2: Now I don't I would have.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Part of me would have. Part of me would have argued,
- 39:18Speaker 3: especially if he would have done it with his blade,
- 39:20Speaker 3: that if you would take a plant and killed it
- 39:22Speaker 3: on a block, that maybe would have worked. But only
- 39:26Speaker 3: if he did it because he had the flower slayer.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Right, motherfucker. That's pretty clever, that's smart.
- 39:32Speaker 3: But otherwise I don't think. I don't think anyone would
- 39:34Speaker 3: rule that as as that doesn't work, but it technically
- 39:38Speaker 3: as a living creature and therefore should Yeah, so, especially
- 39:43Speaker 3: in a world where there are living plants.
- 39:45Speaker 2: So one of the one of the reasons I asked
- 39:47Speaker 2: that question is because I looked up you know, something
- 39:49Speaker 2: people had done, and one person said, well, in our game,
- 39:54Speaker 2: I was dming and the players summoned their familiar and
- 39:57Speaker 2: killed it.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I would have done.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And I I let that blasphemous I thought.
- 40:03Speaker 2: It was I let what kind of I let that
- 40:05Speaker 2: through the familiar didn't trust him anymore?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean the same way I like some
- 40:12Speaker 1: of me. I'm out bitch later.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Yeah, if I was if I was playing my lawful
- 40:16Speaker 3: evil character was and he would have done it because
- 40:19Speaker 3: his familiar is no more than a servant to meet
- 40:21Speaker 3: an end, So would have been all, this is easy, Hey, buddy,
- 40:25Speaker 3: come here, stamp all right, We're good. Familiar would come
- 40:30Speaker 3: back fine afterwards. It's just, yeah, it would be upset,
- 40:34Speaker 3: but you don't give a ship to work for me.
- 40:37Speaker 2: That's why I feel like my character choice was perfect
- 40:40Speaker 2: for Bumble, because he's not like I'm going to enjoy
- 40:44Speaker 2: killing this or in fact, probably the opposite, you know.
- 40:47Speaker 2: He was just like, this is an option that will
- 40:49Speaker 2: result in a positive outcome for all of us. Right.
- 40:52Speaker 3: It's so, yeah, there was multiple options, and and yeah,
- 40:57Speaker 3: not doing it was also an option which us to
- 41:00Speaker 3: do it, and.
- 41:00Speaker 2: We got attached by a giant hill plant.
- 41:05Speaker 3: But the thing is is that you got like nothing
- 41:06Speaker 3: I could have done to you guys would have mattered
- 41:08Speaker 3: after that fact. So yeah, I did feel a little
- 41:10Speaker 3: I'll be honest, it did feel a little rush towards
- 41:11Speaker 3: the end, like I was shoving you out of the place.
- 41:13Speaker 3: That's mostly because I was because we can move on
- 41:17Speaker 3: to bigger, better things actually would be relevant to your
- 41:19Speaker 3: skill level.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Which is fair.
- 41:23Speaker 3: That boss was literally probably the only thing you had
- 41:26Speaker 3: to kind of sort of concern yourself with. And this
- 41:29Speaker 3: guy over here fucked up with his spell, with his curse.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that and the fact that he had a weapon that.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Literally literally had bonuses against him.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Yeah, again I did find it funny. You learned the
- 41:42Speaker 3: hard way that this and again the if anyone's not familiar,
- 41:45Speaker 3: the creature they fought was called a chambler, and the
- 41:50Speaker 3: shambler is a unique monster that even though it's yeah,
- 41:56Speaker 3: shambling mound, even though it's it can be called a
- 41:58Speaker 3: shambler too.
- 42:00Speaker 2: It even says so.
- 42:00Speaker 3: In the description, Uh it even though it's a living plant,
- 42:05Speaker 3: like a large plant, creature of unalignment for whatever reason,
- 42:12Speaker 3: like a construct, if you zap it with lightning, it heals.
- 42:19Speaker 2: So thank god I found that out. It was like
- 42:20Speaker 2: one of the first actual.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Ye after an initial thing and it and yeah, you
- 42:25Speaker 3: healed most of it back, but it honestly didn't matter
- 42:28Speaker 3: in the long run. It's helpful, meant nothing against his
- 42:31Speaker 3: ability to cancel out its terms, and then of course
- 42:34Speaker 3: your barbarian's ability and your ability to nuke it into orbit.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys were hitting out hard.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Like I had resistances, but none of it mattered because
- 42:45Speaker 3: you were scoring high enough or okay, half damage still
- 42:48Speaker 3: did a shit, right, So.
- 42:52Speaker 1: But I'm excited to get forward in that story.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah, we're getting close to the climax of our of
- 42:57Speaker 2: our adventure, and it's probably gonna take a cup full
- 43:00Speaker 2: of sessions just to get through that castle. Yeah.
- 43:03Speaker 3: No, that castle alone, unless you somehow miraculously be line
- 43:07Speaker 3: it to strad which I wouldn't put it past you.
- 43:09Speaker 5: Guys.
- 43:11Speaker 1: It's going to take a few sessions.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Don't be surprised if it doesn't. And you guys managed
- 43:15Speaker 3: to be lining to him because you've been having that
- 43:16Speaker 3: kind of luck this game.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Let me this, when we start that uh, that castle encounter,
- 43:23Speaker 1: are you going to roll randomly to see where Strawd
- 43:25Speaker 1: is or are you going to have a.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Place He's already predetermined with the terror cards at the
- 43:29Speaker 3: beginning of the game, the very beginning that we did.
- 43:32Speaker 3: It determined the space, determined the places that all the
- 43:35Speaker 3: artifacts were, determined where all all the allies you were
- 43:38Speaker 3: going to find were, and it determines where he is
- 43:41Speaker 3: in the castle.
- 43:42Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 43:43Speaker 2: That's so cool?
- 43:44Speaker 3: Already there waiting for you in that specific spot along
- 43:48Speaker 3: with the other two artifacts that you pretty much determined
- 43:51Speaker 3: are also in the castle, because they're nowhere else you search,
- 43:53Speaker 3: because you've literally been everywhere else except for like one
- 43:56Speaker 3: or two places, which we'll tell you right now it's
- 43:58Speaker 3: not in.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Yeah, we need to supply up and go. But yeah,
- 44:03Speaker 1: we played D and D Thursday, and I think we
- 44:06Speaker 1: agreed that the next thing we're gonna do is play
- 44:08Speaker 1: some hockey.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna take a short break and play some hockey.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:12Speaker 2: We played some hockey like three weeks ago and had
- 44:14Speaker 2: an absolute last so much introduced Walters to the game.
- 44:18Speaker 2: He took to it like a duck to one.
- 44:19Speaker 3: He was so nervous about it too. He's like, he's like,
- 44:22Speaker 3: I've never played these kind of games, and like, you know,
- 44:25Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm like, dude, I explained to him, like
- 44:27Speaker 3: when I was back during the House of Awesome, I
- 44:30Speaker 3: remember being invited over like we're gonna play hockey or no,
- 44:33Speaker 3: it was your apartment. Actually yeah, yeah, it would have
- 44:36Speaker 3: been the apartment because you were there for the six
- 44:39Speaker 3: and it's like okay, here you go, and you had
- 44:42Speaker 3: me on like defense, you just had me on like
- 44:43Speaker 3: left wing or or white ring or something like that,
- 44:46Speaker 3: or lefty lefty or some ship. And that's where I
- 44:50Speaker 3: was for like a good year that we played it,
- 44:52Speaker 3: and no, I didn't know how to play ship. I
- 44:54Speaker 3: was shitty at it. And then I started making saves
- 44:57Speaker 3: and then I almost got a few goals. After a
- 45:00Speaker 3: few years of us playing, and as we were going
- 45:02Speaker 3: along times like we started, you guys end up swifting
- 45:04Speaker 3: me over to center for some reason, and I started
- 45:08Speaker 3: getting really good and.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Mostly because Jesse stopped living with us. We need a center, so.
- 45:15Speaker 3: You put me on the center and I took to
- 45:18Speaker 3: it right away and like been center ever since and
- 45:21Speaker 3: just yeah, almost all the time. If I don't get
- 45:24Speaker 3: the puck, we get it shortly after. It's it's it's
- 45:28Speaker 3: fucking fantasy.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I love it.
- 45:29Speaker 3: And now I'm taking shots.
- 45:31Speaker 2: You are making.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Pay and I was and I told him all this, dude, Yeah,
- 45:36Speaker 3: it's like you at first, you don't know what the
- 45:39Speaker 3: funk you're doing.
- 45:40Speaker 2: You'll you'll pick it up.
- 45:43Speaker 3: They did it.
- 45:44Speaker 2: I scored his first goal before the first period was over,
- 45:46Speaker 2: I think.
- 45:47Speaker 6: Yeah, And it was just he was up there dog
- 45:51Speaker 6: ship like with us, like but you get energized from
- 45:54Speaker 6: all that ship like it, and it does, like everybody
- 45:58Speaker 6: feels it.
- 45:58Speaker 3: It's great, it's it's fucking fantastic. It's one of those
- 46:01Speaker 3: few sports games because I'm not into sports games either,
- 46:04Speaker 3: like at all. I couldn't care fucking less, but that's
- 46:07Speaker 3: probably the only sports game that I'm like, Yeah, this
- 46:10Speaker 3: is great. They did a very good job they did.
- 46:12Speaker 3: The mechanics are great. It's fun, and when you're playing
- 46:15Speaker 3: with friends, oh my god, holy.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Fuck it is.
- 46:19Speaker 3: It is better than watching a real game.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Hell, really fucking so much better.
- 46:23Speaker 3: It's more exciting and you're more into it, way more
- 46:26Speaker 3: into it.
- 46:27Speaker 2: And I wish to god I would get their ship
- 46:29Speaker 2: together and got a hockey game on PC. Eya actual
- 46:33Speaker 2: actual game, not a shitty port. They need to make
- 46:36Speaker 2: a new one game. Just upscale this one too, the
- 46:40Speaker 2: one we're playing. That's all.
- 46:41Speaker 1: You got one updated so we can play this one. Yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'll be happy with that. Better graphics update that like
- 46:47Speaker 1: Aaron be able to edit all this ship.
- 46:49Speaker 2: We need to head hit anyway, We're gonna go to
- 46:52Speaker 2: break yeah, because it's been twenty minutes, so we'll be back,
- 46:56Speaker 2: uh and we'll go over what else do you guys
- 46:59Speaker 2: have enough to in the past week's right after.
- 47:01Speaker 1: This, Hey, if you're in the Western New York area
- 47:12Speaker 1: and you are a fan of the Green head on
- 47:14Speaker 1: over to Peace, Love and Bud at three twenty self
- 47:17Speaker 1: Transit Road in Lockport, New York. Tell them b F
- 47:20Speaker 1: y t W A Santa able to hook you up.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Oh my god, the fastest five Welcome back to him Flash.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Welcome back. Can I tell you quite possibly one of
- 47:48Speaker 2: the most absurd, ridiculous shows we've ever done. And it's joyous,
- 47:53Speaker 2: absolutely joyous. But this is a chill show. We're just
- 47:57Speaker 2: talking about weird, just just talking about the ship we've
- 48:02Speaker 2: been up to recently, just somehow spun off into the
- 48:06Speaker 2: most ridiculous shit. If you're not a Patriot number seriously
- 48:10Speaker 2: consider it. I'm just telling you the stuff between the
- 48:14Speaker 2: breaks has been extraordinary.
- 48:16Speaker 1: It's worth it. It's not a lot at all. At
- 48:20Speaker 1: the end of the.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Episode allering for the amount of content you get, five
- 48:23Speaker 3: dollars a month is not a lot. I know, you
- 48:25Speaker 3: know you're getting compared to all these description services where
- 48:28Speaker 3: it's fomo.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Fear of missing out. Yeah, you don't miss out on anything.
- 48:36Speaker 3: It's all archived, all on the side, it's all there.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Can't miss it. If it's all there.
- 48:39Speaker 3: If you haven't seen it before, you subscribe to our
- 48:42Speaker 3: Patreon you'll see it then.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Uh not to mention video versions of the stuff we do,
- 48:47Speaker 2: which is incredible for the game shows that we've been
- 48:49Speaker 2: doing lately.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Oh my God to god. Yes, you can actually see
- 48:53Speaker 1: the game shows on the screen.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Yeah, awesome, And sometimes the context makes it even funnier.
- 48:59Speaker 2: You watch my you like to get to watch the
- 49:04Speaker 2: game and deal or no deal, you can see it happen,
- 49:07Speaker 2: just wash, all the high values just crash off.
- 49:10Speaker 1: It's like you're right there in the audience with the
- 49:13Speaker 1: rest of.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Using your head and laughing at this dumb twit who
- 49:19Speaker 2: just keeps losing everything.
- 49:20Speaker 1: It was so fucking fun Like, seriously, you.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Know what's so funny about Winner and Randolph's Money is
- 49:25Speaker 2: that I start that episode with an intro that says,
- 49:27Speaker 2: I am so confident that my game show abilities. So far,
- 49:31Speaker 2: I have tied and I have lost, I have not
- 49:33Speaker 2: won a game yet, all the sweeter.
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's just amazing.
- 49:38Speaker 2: It's ridiculous. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm talking a big game,
- 49:41Speaker 2: but I can't bring it.
- 49:43Speaker 3: That's the best. That's like the greatest part of the joke.
- 49:45Speaker 3: You're gonna going into it like I'm gonna win this,
- 49:47Speaker 3: and then you get slammed one time.
- 49:50Speaker 1: So far, it's like a wrestling prolo it really is.
- 49:54Speaker 3: He's the heel. He's gotta be the bad Guy's like, oh,
- 49:56Speaker 3: he's never He's gonna beat everyone's ass and then goes
- 49:58Speaker 3: and gets his ass.
- 50:02Speaker 2: So true. All right, So, Aggie, I guess you're all
- 50:05Speaker 2: that's left. What have you been up to that you
- 50:08Speaker 2: can talk about that you want to talk about anything?
- 50:10Speaker 2: You're looking forward to? What's going on?
- 50:12Speaker 3: Absolutely nothing by so that he was going to do it.
- 50:17Speaker 3: I'll yeah, Okay, So I've been up to some ship.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Most recently, I just finally ended my work season. I
- 50:26Speaker 3: even got a little note telling me my season and
- 50:28Speaker 3: it was kind of sad, but possibly back next year,
- 50:33Speaker 3: so no big deal there. I get to enjoy my
- 50:35Speaker 3: few months vacation in the winter, which is great because
- 50:38Speaker 3: it fucking sucks in the cold, especially if you're on
- 50:42Speaker 3: a bike, you know, But I digress. Other than that, Yeah,
- 50:47Speaker 3: as we mentioned earlier, we got brand new legs for
- 50:50Speaker 3: our desks, new standing sitting desks, which is great for
- 50:53Speaker 3: my posture as well as my fucking back. It's very cool,
- 50:57Speaker 3: Like it hurts so much.
- 50:58Speaker 2: You can get like a little tread that you can
- 51:00Speaker 2: walk on the whole time. Oh my god, yeah, holy Yeah.
- 51:04Speaker 2: My boss has one at work. Yeah, he has a
- 51:07Speaker 2: standing desk and he has a little treadmill that.
- 51:09Speaker 3: I'd be worried about how much noise it make shaking
- 51:11Speaker 3: up the floor. I'd have to get like a shock pad.
- 51:13Speaker 2: It is, it is noisy. I yeah, I have to can't.
- 51:16Speaker 2: I kind of can't avoid that.
- 51:18Speaker 3: But that's okay, But that's a good idea. I probably
- 51:20Speaker 3: just think about that because I would be like to
- 51:22Speaker 3: be active even during winter.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Right, and that would help.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 51:27Speaker 4: Uh.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Other than that, I've been using my new desk set
- 51:30Speaker 3: up with my new computer to play some new games,
- 51:33Speaker 3: including Path of Exile too. Path of Exile two is
- 51:37Speaker 3: really fucking good if anyone's ever played the first game.
- 51:40Speaker 3: It's free to play, and it's a Diablo like, so
- 51:43Speaker 3: if you played Diabolo, you'll probably like Path of Exile,
- 51:46Speaker 3: though you might not like what they've done with like
- 51:48Speaker 3: the passive skill system. It's quite extensive. It is crazy
- 51:54Speaker 3: what you can do with it, kind of like what
- 51:56Speaker 3: you could do in Diablo too, but maybe Diable two
- 51:59Speaker 3: is a little bit more restricted and still kind of
- 52:01Speaker 3: made a bit more sense for people.
- 52:03Speaker 2: I digress.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Still a great game. Second one just as good. I
- 52:07Speaker 3: come to realize I did not pay attention to the
- 52:09Speaker 3: lore at all in the first game, so as I'm
- 52:12Speaker 3: being lower dumped in the second one, I'm going.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Who the fuck is this?
- 52:17Speaker 3: Why are we here? Why did I just stab that
- 52:20Speaker 3: guy who was being eaten by a zombie?
- 52:23Speaker 2: What the fuck? What happened?
- 52:25Speaker 6: Uh?
- 52:25Speaker 3: But other than that great, great gameplay, there are a
- 52:28Speaker 3: lot of it's early access, so right now, if you
- 52:32Speaker 3: if you pay for it, I think, which is like
- 52:34Speaker 3: twenty five to thirty dollars or something like that, it
- 52:37Speaker 3: comes with some extra stuff, but you get early access
- 52:40Speaker 3: to the game, and they're still releasing things, including a
- 52:43Speaker 3: new Primal class and new Druid class, which looks pretty sweet.
- 52:49Speaker 3: And then each class has ascendency classes, usually three, So basically,
- 52:54Speaker 3: if there's like say six million classes, each of those
- 52:58Speaker 3: six have additional three ascendency glasses. So yeah, it gets
- 53:02Speaker 3: kind of fucking crazy, and then we've ever seen their
- 53:06Speaker 3: passive skill thing. There's just a giant fucking spider web
- 53:09Speaker 3: of all sorts of nonsense. Kind of cool, kind of intimidating,
- 53:15Speaker 3: but I love it.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Overwhelming and overwhelming. I look at it. He got me
- 53:19Speaker 1: into it, something got it for me.
- 53:21Speaker 3: I think, yeah, I did get it for you, because
- 53:22Speaker 3: I'm like and I'm like, Okay, I think you'll enjoy this.
- 53:25Speaker 3: And we've been talking about playing Diablo and or Diablo
- 53:29Speaker 3: like in a while, but we've had some other games
- 53:31Speaker 3: like Titan Quest or Torchlight, which are good Diablo like games,
- 53:36Speaker 3: but they don't quite scratch the same initch. No, but hey,
- 53:40Speaker 3: this whatever works the other game I've been playing that
- 53:44Speaker 3: we're actually about to finish up and move on to
- 53:46Speaker 3: the next one in the series, Monster Hunter World.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Holy fuck. Yeah, these fuckers got me into it hard.
- 53:53Speaker 3: I'm surprised we convinced him to get into it at
- 53:55Speaker 3: all because it is not his type of game. But
- 53:57Speaker 3: I'm kind of glad we got him out of his
- 53:59Speaker 3: comfort zone, which is if yes is any more into
- 54:01Speaker 3: like a souls like monster hunter. Literally, it's a manzer Hunter.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Is just that you hunt monsters. There's no other context
- 54:10Speaker 3: to it. There is a storyline, who cares, don't know
- 54:13Speaker 3: what it is. There's cats, the cats, the Palanko. Yeah
- 54:16Speaker 3: you got you got Palko the Palicos, but they're cats, walking,
- 54:19Speaker 3: talking cats and they fight with you.
- 54:21Speaker 1: And kids the major ass.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Yes, so they're pretty fucking sweet. But yeah, we're almost
- 54:26Speaker 3: towards the end.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 54:28Speaker 3: This guy got to master rank. Master rank is literally
- 54:31Speaker 3: the last rank in most Monster Hunter games, so he
- 54:35Speaker 3: actually got to the hardest part of the game, which
- 54:38Speaker 3: is very impressive.
- 54:40Speaker 1: They dragged me through it helped. I was following these
- 54:44Speaker 1: guys and I ran away.
- 54:46Speaker 3: However, playing with other Hunters is a mechanic of the game,
- 54:52Speaker 3: and if you're not using the mechanic of the game,
- 54:54Speaker 3: are you really playing the game? So and Monster Hunter
- 54:58Speaker 3: is about them?
- 54:59Speaker 2: Well, I turned off quick time events in every game
- 55:01Speaker 2: I've been able to, and I have missed a goddamn thing.
- 55:06Speaker 3: The thing is, if you want a soulo god, go
- 55:07Speaker 3: play fucking Dark Souls. But if you want to fight
- 55:12Speaker 3: tough monsters with your friends monster Hunters, the game to
- 55:15Speaker 3: do you effectively fight gods in some cases, but like
- 55:19Speaker 3: some of the fucking dragons you fight are just in
- 55:22Speaker 3: fucking say.
- 55:22Speaker 1: And the more players are health multiple yeah, and the.
- 55:25Speaker 3: More players are playing, the harder the monster technically gets,
- 55:28Speaker 3: but more like their health pool just goes up and
- 55:30Speaker 3: they have to pit harder.
- 55:32Speaker 1: They're just healthpool goes up.
- 55:33Speaker 3: So that way everybody gets kind of like everybody feels
- 55:36Speaker 3: like they're contributing, and it's not just the great Sword
- 55:38Speaker 3: just doing all the fucking damage.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Right, It is fun. And then everybody gets their own
- 55:44Speaker 1: weapon they want to use.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Yeah, there's like fourteen thirteen or fourteen different weapons to
- 55:48Speaker 3: choose from, each with different types. You can craft all
- 55:51Speaker 3: different armor sets that you give all of the different
- 55:53Speaker 3: monsters that you're fighting, and then each one has different
- 55:56Speaker 3: ranks low rank, higher rank, master rank, and even those
- 55:59Speaker 3: kind I have different ones because in master rank there's
- 56:02Speaker 3: Alpha Beta, and then when you get to arch tempered monsters,
- 56:05Speaker 3: it goes to fucking get It's it's insane. It's but
- 56:08Speaker 3: again a lot of fun, uh, And it's got the
- 56:11Speaker 3: air of difficulty that I got that you kind of
- 56:13Speaker 3: want in a video game where it's like this is
- 56:15Speaker 3: too easy, I'm breezing through everything, and then this game
- 56:18Speaker 3: is like Okay, this is actually took me some input
- 56:20Speaker 3: to win this, So I feel more satisfied because I
- 56:23Speaker 3: won that because of what I did, and that just
- 56:25Speaker 3: because I clicked two buttons.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it is satisfying when you do win. It's frustrating
- 56:30Speaker 1: when you get one shot. It's and it's like all right.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Which is unfortunately the nature of the game. But there
- 56:36Speaker 3: are ways around it in ways to prevent it as well.
- 56:39Speaker 3: It's just about learning the game, and as a hunter,
- 56:42Speaker 3: you learn your target, learn how to defeat it, and
- 56:45Speaker 3: then prepare accordingly. This monster does fire damage. I have
- 56:49Speaker 3: fire resistance, it's weak against ice, have an ice weapon.
- 56:53Speaker 3: What does it do? It roars a lot. Have some
- 56:55Speaker 3: earplugs so they're the roaring doesn't do anything to you.
- 56:58Speaker 3: What else does it do? Oh, it does this really
- 57:00Speaker 3: heavy ass attack Every once in a while that might
- 57:03Speaker 3: fucking one tap me. Well, I'll either get a health
- 57:06Speaker 3: boost to increase my health pool, so if I'm at
- 57:07Speaker 3: full health, I'm less likely get one tapped, or I'll
- 57:10Speaker 3: have this ability called divine protection, where it has a
- 57:12Speaker 3: high chance that'll just straight up reduce the damage I
- 57:15Speaker 3: take by sixty percent.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Wow, for like that one hit.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so there's there's a mental preparedness. You can't just
- 57:22Speaker 3: kind of face roll into everything. You have to know
- 57:25Speaker 3: what you're doing. And the only way you can know
- 57:27Speaker 3: what you're doing is to either fight the monster or
- 57:30Speaker 3: track the monster long enough to learn enough about it
- 57:32Speaker 3: to know what it's weak against, what it can do,
- 57:35Speaker 3: and all that shit and what parts it breaks and
- 57:37Speaker 3: gets shitting like that. And you do that by literally
- 57:39Speaker 3: tracking the monster. You sneak up behind it, you grab
- 57:43Speaker 3: its tracks, you grab it's dung, you grab parts off
- 57:46Speaker 3: of it, you fight it a little bit, whatever you
- 57:48Speaker 3: have to do. You gain a research level. And eventually,
- 57:51Speaker 3: after you fill out the research level so much it
- 57:53Speaker 3: literally gives you. You have a booklet that gives you
- 57:56Speaker 3: Hunter Notes, and you go into the hunter notes, and
- 57:58Speaker 3: it tells you everything about that monster, what parts are
- 58:00Speaker 3: weak points, what they're weak against, what they're strong against,
- 58:03Speaker 3: gives you a hint against dealing with certain aspects of them,
- 58:06Speaker 3: Like if a certain thing, if it rages after hitting
- 58:09Speaker 3: it in the face or whatever, Like if it rages
- 58:11Speaker 3: when you're hit in the face, try to prevent it
- 58:13Speaker 3: by hitting it in here instead, or use this to
- 58:16Speaker 3: knock it out of its rage date kind of thing.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Stuff You wouldn't know unless you looked at these notes
- 58:20Speaker 3: and it told.
- 58:21Speaker 1: You you actually have to do the research in the
- 58:24Speaker 1: game yourself. Now they are characters doing You actually have
- 58:27Speaker 1: to read this stuff and then apply it.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Yeah, or you could just do what everybody else does
- 58:31Speaker 3: and just google it.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I just do what they tell me, like, hey.
- 58:37Speaker 3: So we literally have the notes that we're actually literally
- 58:38Speaker 3: opening up books in front of them, going no, this
- 58:40Speaker 3: is what we got to do. It's like, oh, okay,
- 58:43Speaker 3: and then yeah, and then finally just kind of round
- 58:45Speaker 3: it all out. I still haven't finished painting my bolt
- 58:47Speaker 3: extra figures, but now I have the time to do
- 58:49Speaker 3: it because I'm out of work.
- 58:50Speaker 1: So, as he's been saying, for free six months, three years, yeah,
- 58:57Speaker 1: probably three years now, can't be that long. Yeah, I
- 59:01Speaker 1: think you're it might be four.
- 59:04Speaker 2: There's no way I've had I just hit six.
- 59:06Speaker 3: There's no way I've had those minis and a lock
- 59:11Speaker 3: pox sitting under my desk for four years. There's no
- 59:15Speaker 3: fucking way could be.
- 59:19Speaker 1: That's awesome, though, get on that, man, that'll be cool.
- 59:21Speaker 2: See stuff.
- 59:23Speaker 1: It would be neat, yeah, fun stuff.
- 59:26Speaker 3: So I'll be on the discord a lot playing games.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Yeah, follow follow us on discord.

- 1:00:17Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, the last time we had a party with
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: like fifteen people in it was ten years ago.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a long.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: We need to do like that. Yeah, well, I have
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: some ideas coming off after the New year, enough.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: To clean the fuck out of my apartment to hold
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: something like that.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: I mean we've had get togethers since then, but we
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: haven't had like video game get together forever. Yeah, like
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: land parties and ship Well Hockey.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Will have to hold us over until then. And now
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I think that's gonna be it for this episode. It's
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: been a good long episode. We covered a lot of
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: fun topics and I had a good time. I hope
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: you've enjoyed as much as we have. It's been very,
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: very silly. Like I said, if you're not a Patreon,

- 1:01:18Speaker 2: with you because they can. You know, it's it's it's you.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Then you get to hear the cool stuff as well.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: But you never know who could use a good laugh.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Right in Colorado, we've we've had people tell us that
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: our show has actually helped them out of some some
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: digressive states, which yeah, we.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Are honored that is. That is probably the best thing
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: we could ever hope for our show to do.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Honestly, if nothing else comes out of this show, then
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: I'm super glad that.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: If this show never makes a dime, but it does
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: that on a basis happy, yeah, yeah, I would never
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: complain on it.

- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Patreons get a lot of extra stuff from us. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: like I said, sometimes that preim mid roll is in
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: the show, and this is one of those. So if
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: you've enjoyed this episode, you will really enjoy the prem
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: mid role. But that I'm afraid is going to be
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: it from us? Why Because fuck you, That's why.
