14 00:00:50,000 --> 00:00:54,000 Because the two things we were not allowed to talk about 15 00:00:54,000 --> 00:00:58,000 have now happened in the last couple of years. 16 00:00:58,000 --> 00:01:01,000 So, somebody stealing ideas from us, Jeff. 17 00:01:01,000 --> 00:01:03,000 I don't know who it is, but, 18 00:01:03,000 --> 00:01:07,000 I mean, you literally, at one point in the last couple of weeks, told me, 19 00:01:07,000 --> 00:01:12,000 I could not talk about this because there's the rule that we cannot talk about it. 20 00:01:12,000 --> 00:01:16,000 But it happened, so I guess we have to lift that rule now as well. 21 00:01:16,000 --> 00:01:18,000 Yes, we will have to lift the rule. 22 00:01:18,000 --> 00:01:21,000 We will get to the rule, and it's funny that you said that, 23 00:01:21,000 --> 00:01:24,000 because I went back and I listened to Last Week Show, 24 00:01:24,000 --> 00:01:28,000 and I thought it was said during Last Week Show, and it wasn't. 25 00:01:28,000 --> 00:01:31,000 I could have sworn we talked about it during the recap, 26 00:01:31,000 --> 00:01:35,000 or, excuse me, the pre-review predictions part, and it wasn't. 27 00:01:35,000 --> 00:01:38,000 So, that must have been like two, three years ago that we talked about, 28 00:01:38,000 --> 00:01:40,000 two, three weeks ago that we talked about that. 29 00:01:40,000 --> 00:01:43,000 I wonder if it was right after the humble, because I knew we talked about it. 30 00:01:43,000 --> 00:01:46,000 That, or that might have been that little bit of conversation 31 00:01:46,000 --> 00:01:49,000 since we had off-air after the show ended. 32 00:01:49,000 --> 00:01:52,000 Okay, so maybe it happened off-air? 33 00:01:52,000 --> 00:01:53,000 Yeah. 34 00:01:53,000 --> 00:01:56,000 Okay, because I immediately dismissed it. 35 00:01:56,000 --> 00:02:01,000 Because I know I had mentioned it back with the whole, 36 00:02:01,000 --> 00:02:05,000 when Jay won the rumble, I had kind of mentioned it. 37 00:02:05,000 --> 00:02:10,000 And then I think Last Week Off-air, I had asked you, 38 00:02:10,000 --> 00:02:16,000 we have made our predictions if we switched Jay and Cena. 39 00:02:16,000 --> 00:02:19,000 So, I listened to this part. 40 00:02:19,000 --> 00:02:23,000 Yes, I listened to that part literally about 20 minutes before we sat down on record. 41 00:02:23,000 --> 00:02:26,000 And we only talked about Jay. 42 00:02:26,000 --> 00:02:30,000 We did not talk about the person we cannot talk about. 43 00:02:30,000 --> 00:02:31,000 I'm pretty sure we have. 44 00:02:31,000 --> 00:02:33,000 Even though you kind of talked about it. 45 00:02:33,000 --> 00:02:35,000 I know we did. 46 00:02:35,000 --> 00:02:37,000 But I think you're right. 47 00:02:37,000 --> 00:02:40,000 I think it may have been off-air now. 48 00:02:40,000 --> 00:02:43,000 Yeah, because I think, because I think we're trying to lay out the logistics 49 00:02:43,000 --> 00:02:45,000 of how it could happen. 50 00:02:45,000 --> 00:02:51,000 I think we got done recording last week's show and talked about it off-air. 51 00:02:51,000 --> 00:02:56,000 I don't think that this was a conversation that made it during the February shows. 52 00:02:56,000 --> 00:03:01,000 Which makes me so mad because every now and then we hit something dead on. 53 00:03:01,000 --> 00:03:03,000 And I'm like, "Oh, it's on the tape somewhere." 54 00:03:03,000 --> 00:03:06,000 But then we, yeah, we just, we were rambling. 55 00:03:06,000 --> 00:03:09,000 My plan was to pull that audio and play it on the show. 56 00:03:09,000 --> 00:03:10,000 And then I listened back. 57 00:03:10,000 --> 00:03:12,000 I was like, "Man, this would have been the part that we talked about it." 58 00:03:12,000 --> 00:03:18,000 And I don't think we talked about it anywhere else in that episode because we did the awards. 59 00:03:18,000 --> 00:03:21,000 Maybe it was in the roundup? 60 00:03:21,000 --> 00:03:23,000 Maybe? 61 00:03:23,000 --> 00:03:26,000 I'll have to go back and listen to it because now you got to meet curious. 62 00:03:26,000 --> 00:03:30,000 Because I know we, I'm pretty sure we mentioned it on air because I remember you saying 63 00:03:30,000 --> 00:03:32,000 we can't talk about this. 64 00:03:32,000 --> 00:03:35,000 I think it was during the roundup. 65 00:03:35,000 --> 00:03:37,000 Now that we say it. 66 00:03:37,000 --> 00:03:38,000 It might have been. 67 00:03:38,000 --> 00:03:40,000 Yeah, I'll have to go back and try to listen there. 68 00:03:40,000 --> 00:03:43,000 But anyway, what are we talking about? 69 00:03:43,000 --> 00:03:44,000 Stay tuned. 70 00:03:44,000 --> 00:03:49,000 WWE of the Nation Chamber recap and review this past Saturday from the Roger Center in Toronto, Ontario. 71 00:03:49,000 --> 00:03:54,000 Canada, the first match here was Bianca Belair defeating Liv Morgan, Lexibleis, Bailey Naomi, 72 00:03:54,000 --> 00:03:59,000 and Roxanne Perez in an elimination chamber match to win a women's world championship match 73 00:03:59,000 --> 00:04:00,000 at WrestleMania 41. 74 00:04:00,000 --> 00:04:03,000 You and I both had Bianca Belair on this one, Dr. Trey. 75 00:04:03,000 --> 00:04:04,000 It was a hot start to the show. 76 00:04:04,000 --> 00:04:08,000 The Jade Cargill Naomi stuff had the crowd in the palm of their hands. 77 00:04:08,000 --> 00:04:11,000 Really good in-ring stuff from all the competitors and an enjoyable match. 78 00:04:11,000 --> 00:04:16,000 Bianca again, the win was nice as it's time for her to get back into singles competition after battling in the tag division 79 00:04:16,000 --> 00:04:18,000 for what I felt was too long. 80 00:04:18,000 --> 00:04:23,000 Rhea Bianca at this point in time was perceived to be awesome. 81 00:04:23,000 --> 00:04:25,000 Maybe it still happens at Mania. 82 00:04:25,000 --> 00:04:28,000 We'll talk about what took place on Monday's Raw here momentarily. 83 00:04:28,000 --> 00:04:31,000 But the match itself, Dr. Trey, your thoughts. 84 00:04:31,000 --> 00:04:33,000 Did I call this one correctly though? 85 00:04:33,000 --> 00:04:35,000 As far as Jade attacking Naomi? 86 00:04:35,000 --> 00:04:37,000 Because I thought I called this one too. 87 00:04:37,000 --> 00:04:38,000 See, we're getting on. 88 00:04:38,000 --> 00:04:39,000 Maybe not. 89 00:04:39,000 --> 00:04:41,000 Back in the day, I would be like, yeah, we said that. 90 00:04:41,000 --> 00:04:45,000 I, older I get, the less sleep I get, thanks to kids. 91 00:04:45,000 --> 00:04:46,000 This is what's happening, brother. 92 00:04:46,000 --> 00:04:48,000 You warned me about this. 93 00:04:48,000 --> 00:04:55,000 Yeah, I literally was like, I thought I called this, but yeah, like this, the crazy of this match, like I enjoyed the match. 94 00:04:55,000 --> 00:04:58,000 I thought the Jade stuff was Jade coming back going after Naomi was fantastic. 95 00:04:58,000 --> 00:05:00,000 I thought the assault was great. 96 00:05:00,000 --> 00:05:02,000 Like, it was brutal. 97 00:05:02,000 --> 00:05:08,000 I've never seen somebody slam the sliding door into somebody's head before. 98 00:05:08,000 --> 00:05:10,000 And then the rest of the match was pretty good too. 99 00:05:10,000 --> 00:05:12,000 Like, I really enjoyed it. 100 00:05:12,000 --> 00:05:15,000 I was really excited for Bianca and Jade. 101 00:05:15,000 --> 00:05:23,000 The weird thing about me though is Bianca was so inconsolable in herself when the attack was going on. 102 00:05:23,000 --> 00:05:27,000 I was like, in reality, Jeff, if you're bet, this is not mind you. 103 00:05:27,000 --> 00:05:31,000 This is also a person who literally abandoned a match. 104 00:05:31,000 --> 00:05:40,000 Earlier in this year or last year to go check on Jade that she comes out of the pot and she goes right to the match. 105 00:05:40,000 --> 00:05:46,000 Like, I was like, okay, you're inconsolable while your partner is getting attacked. 106 00:05:46,000 --> 00:05:49,000 But now you can focus on the match and win the match. 107 00:05:49,000 --> 00:05:51,000 That was my only issue with it. 108 00:05:51,000 --> 00:05:54,000 But overall, take that part out of the equation. 109 00:05:54,000 --> 00:05:56,000 I enjoyed the elimination chamber for the women. 110 00:05:56,000 --> 00:06:00,000 Yeah, it was, it was a really fun one. 111 00:06:00,000 --> 00:06:01,000 What do you think? 112 00:06:01,000 --> 00:06:04,000 Should we talk about what happened on Rod now or do you want to say it for the roundup? 113 00:06:04,000 --> 00:06:07,000 Sure, let's go ahead and talk about now because I was like, what the hell? 114 00:06:07,000 --> 00:06:10,000 All right, so let's get into it here. 115 00:06:10,000 --> 00:06:13,000 So Monday's RAW, EO Sky, Rear Ripley. 116 00:06:13,000 --> 00:06:19,000 I totally felt, and this is going to be like the theme for the show, Dr. Tray, in regards to the creative at WWE right now. 117 00:06:19,000 --> 00:06:23,000 I was like, okay, Rear retains, defeats EO and we get reaverses. 118 00:06:23,000 --> 00:06:25,000 Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. 119 00:06:25,000 --> 00:06:30,000 When, that was my initial thought once the match was announced. 120 00:06:30,000 --> 00:06:35,000 When I watched the end of elimination chamber and the three of them, 121 00:06:35,000 --> 00:06:40,000 you had Rea and Bianca face to face and EO comes out and like, I wonder if they could do triple threat. 122 00:06:40,000 --> 00:06:46,000 What I didn't foresee is EO Sky defeating Rear Ripley to win the Women's World Championship. 123 00:06:46,000 --> 00:06:51,000 Thanks to like Bianca's semi-involvement cheering on EO Sky. 124 00:06:51,000 --> 00:06:57,000 Bianca playing a little bit of a heal, re-appre-completely blowing her WrestleMania chances. 125 00:06:57,000 --> 00:07:00,000 And I'm like, this is extremely intriguing now. 126 00:07:00,000 --> 00:07:01,000 We've got six weeks. 127 00:07:01,000 --> 00:07:03,000 This was not predictable, which is what we want. 128 00:07:03,000 --> 00:07:08,000 We don't want to always sit here and dislocate our shoulders and pat ourselves on the back like we're very harrow its. 129 00:07:08,000 --> 00:07:12,000 We want to be surprised and this surprised me. 130 00:07:12,000 --> 00:07:15,000 I still feel like right now my heart of hearts. 131 00:07:15,000 --> 00:07:17,000 This is going to be a triple threat match in Las Vegas. 132 00:07:17,000 --> 00:07:19,000 I don't know how we get there quite yet. 133 00:07:19,000 --> 00:07:25,000 But I think that opens up a door where I'm like, hmm, could they do a Becky Lynch return now with Rear Ripley? 134 00:07:25,000 --> 00:07:28,000 Because Becky hasn't been back to the WrestleMania season. 135 00:07:28,000 --> 00:07:32,000 All in all, right now EO Sky versus Bianca Belair. 136 00:07:32,000 --> 00:07:35,000 EO Sky, our new Women's World Champion will be taking place at WrestleMania. 137 00:07:35,000 --> 00:07:41,000 And Rear Ripley, one of the best in the business, is on the outside looking in at the biggest shows of the year. 138 00:07:41,000 --> 00:07:44,000 Yeah, I was completely blown away. 139 00:07:44,000 --> 00:07:48,000 Like you said, like on paper, I'm like, okay, yeah, Rear Bianca. 140 00:07:48,000 --> 00:07:52,000 EO is just kind of a filler to get to that match. 141 00:07:52,000 --> 00:07:58,000 But when they started hyping up, that Rear had never defeated EO Sky. 142 00:07:58,000 --> 00:08:06,000 I was like, well, it's weird they're bringing this up because one was the May Young Classic and that Rear was way different than the Rear we have now. 143 00:08:06,000 --> 00:08:11,000 And then the other one was NXT Rear is about to go the main roster. 144 00:08:11,000 --> 00:08:14,000 Let's move the belts off or make EO the big star. 145 00:08:14,000 --> 00:08:16,000 And EO is doing that weird, cool. 146 00:08:16,000 --> 00:08:18,000 And then the EO turned there, they look. 147 00:08:18,000 --> 00:08:22,000 But when they said, kept hyping it up, I was like, why are they foreshadowing this so much? 148 00:08:22,000 --> 00:08:23,000 Like, why are we playing it? 149 00:08:23,000 --> 00:08:28,000 It's like, I don't think anybody right now on paper puts EO on the same level as Rear. 150 00:08:28,000 --> 00:08:38,000 And that's why I guess I loved it because now you're kind of elevating somebody else into what should be our main event level caliber women. 151 00:08:38,000 --> 00:08:43,000 Like I think everybody on paper puts Bianca and Rear on the same level. 152 00:08:43,000 --> 00:08:45,000 And now you're putting EO in the mix. 153 00:08:45,000 --> 00:08:54,000 Now I saw some people frowning upon it, going back a few years when we wanted Becky and Rhonda and we got Becky and Charlotte instead. 154 00:08:54,000 --> 00:09:00,000 We all kind of want Rear and Bianca, but now we're getting Rear and Bianca and EO maybe in WrestleMania. 155 00:09:00,000 --> 00:09:06,000 But I love this, the other thing you thought of, this could be Becky Lynch coming back into Battle Rear. 156 00:09:06,000 --> 00:09:15,000 And then you still get EO and Bianca. By the way, I loved the last shot on a RAW is Rear on the floor calling herself stupid. 157 00:09:15,000 --> 00:09:18,000 I immediately got Randy Orton, COVID Kings and Flashbacks from that. 158 00:09:18,000 --> 00:09:20,000 Yeah, yeah, no, it's really good. 159 00:09:20,000 --> 00:09:24,000 There's some Becky Lynch layers you're all safe for the roundup. 160 00:09:24,000 --> 00:09:29,000 All right, let's get to the next match. Tiffany Stratton and Tristratus defeat Nye Jackson, Candace LaRae. 161 00:09:29,000 --> 00:09:31,000 We both had Tiffany Stratton in Trish in this one. 162 00:09:31,000 --> 00:09:39,000 Basically the purpose of this match was to set up Tiffany Stratton as the baby face heading into WrestleMania by getting the rub from the hometown hall of Famer and Tristratus. 163 00:09:39,000 --> 00:09:47,000 The match was fine and I thought it was a big deal and the right move that Tiffany got the pin on Nye and Toronto and not Trish. 164 00:09:47,000 --> 00:09:58,000 So I think this was like WWE's gift of giving Tristratus a platform Roger Center hometown girl performing front of your kids and help give the rub to Tiffany Stratton. 165 00:09:58,000 --> 00:10:02,000 The Trishy and Tiffany time stuff was very awkward and clunky. 166 00:10:02,000 --> 00:10:11,000 Like Trish was really helping her out there or like they would do the point, the Tristratus point and then she would like say now point to your wrist and they would both do it. 167 00:10:11,000 --> 00:10:18,000 I mean, if Tiffany Stratton is green a little bit in the baby face character standpoint, fine, she's an amazing heal. 168 00:10:18,000 --> 00:10:21,000 I don't really think she needs to change much if she does a baby face run there. 169 00:10:21,000 --> 00:10:23,000 But to me, that's what the purpose of this match was, Dr. Trayon. 170 00:10:23,000 --> 00:10:39,000 And I guess to close out the Nye Jackson canisterly race up because that did get a little bit clunky and awkward when she did cash in and Nye wasn't like Fuminer brains out that Tiffany did then and stabbed her in the back. 171 00:10:39,000 --> 00:10:50,000 Yeah, like I like the whole we're trying to separate the Tiffany and Charlotte characters a little bit like we try to make sure the baby face you guys don't want that. 172 00:10:50,000 --> 00:10:57,000 So she's got to be healed well that we can't do heal heal Trish and Tiffany that kind of gets Tiffany the rub. 173 00:10:57,000 --> 00:11:03,000 It is awkward though like I'm watching these two and I'm like it's kind of watching a mother daughter TikTok video. 174 00:11:03,000 --> 00:11:12,000 Like it's just it's like okay the mom's trying to be hip and cool and but not really there and the daughter still kind of it's a little weird. 175 00:11:12,000 --> 00:11:23,000 But you can kind of see like hey we got to set boundaries and delineate baby face and heal in these matches in WrestleMania which is something I harp upon on the show quite a bit. 176 00:11:23,000 --> 00:11:28,000 And I think they did a good job. I mean the crowd was you know was into it. They were enjoying it. 177 00:11:28,000 --> 00:11:31,000 It does kind of end the Nye run right now. 178 00:11:31,000 --> 00:11:38,000 It'll be your season what they do with her at WrestleMania season because she was a champion and she was queen of the ring. 179 00:11:38,000 --> 00:11:42,000 You can't just leave her off the show so it's gonna be kind of interesting to see where they fit her in. 180 00:11:42,000 --> 00:11:57,000 Do we see Candace and Nia break up you know what but yeah this kind of does close that chapter on that weird Bailey to Nia the Tiffany little storyline we add you know over the summer and fall. 181 00:11:57,000 --> 00:12:01,000 And I just want to say before we get to the next one here I was really happy for Candace the Ray. 182 00:12:01,000 --> 00:12:11,000 I think Candace the Ray is an phenomenal worker. She has worked her tail off in her entire career and I'm just happy to see her getting this opportunity that she did in Toronto because I think she deserves it. 183 00:12:11,000 --> 00:12:16,000 So major props to Candace the Ray for getting that shine at the elimination chamber. 184 00:12:16,000 --> 00:12:24,000 Next match here was Kevin and Owens defeating Sammy Zayn and an un sanctioned match. I had Sammy Zayn Dr. Trey I had KO Kevin Owens as you point out Dr. Trey. 185 00:12:24,000 --> 00:12:38,000 He really needed this win badly as it's been some time since he won a big marking match one of the more violently influenced WWE matches in some time the barbed wire chair that is something we have not seen it wouldn't what feels like 20 years. 186 00:12:38,000 --> 00:12:49,000 The rain New York returned made a lot of sense but why did he wait until after the match was over to help Sammy Zayn for receiving a potentially career career altering beat down. 187 00:12:49,000 --> 00:13:05,000 I loved the attention of detail in this un sanctioned match as well because the lights were low which was very easy to notice. No ref shirt which they pointed out but what I liked a lot if anybody goes back and notices this the turnbuckles are covered in black so you don't see the WWE logo. 188 00:13:05,000 --> 00:13:08,000 I really liked the attention of detail in this one. 189 00:13:08,000 --> 00:13:18,000 I really enjoyed this match the Randy Orton return did not make sense based on the amount of you know it was un sanctioned no DQ all that stuff. 190 00:13:18,000 --> 00:13:37,000 I was the reason why I chose Sammy Zayn and then maybe this is me being better on the prediction was like that's when Randy Orton return that Randy Orton have a come out RKO you know Kevin Owens or distract him right have the music play and Kevin Owens is distracted and that's when Sammy takes advantage and then KO can lay out Sammy Walts like Orton's makin's way out. 191 00:13:37,000 --> 00:13:53,000 That could have made sense but I think the reason why none of that took place at the end of the day Dr. Dre is they want KO going into Mania and rightfully so with a victory especially if he's going to be involved in some sort of match that has Randy Orton in it. 192 00:13:53,000 --> 00:14:09,000 Yeah I really enjoyed this match and we've talked about these are two of our favorite guys in the history of SRTU and these guys can fight or tag up and they can come out there and do karaoke and I would buy into it. 193 00:14:09,000 --> 00:14:19,000 It doesn't really matter what they do I just enjoy these guys so much so yeah super super enjoy the match violence you know that we hadn't really seen a long time. 194 00:14:19,000 --> 00:14:37,000 I was okay with the Randy stuff because I can look at and go look if you're the baby face you want to give the other baby face a chance to win the match on his own before you get involved but you get involved to protect him from what you with or so. 195 00:14:37,000 --> 00:14:41,000 I understood why they did it. 196 00:14:41,000 --> 00:14:48,000 Yeah like it's for but everything the little subtleties they did like the lights the the term buckles all that stuff was great. 197 00:14:48,000 --> 00:14:57,000 But yeah KO definitely needed a win like he I mean like what we were talking about like a summer slam again one of summer slam matches like oh when his last five. 198 00:14:57,000 --> 00:15:09,000 Like he had really one a big match since him and Sammy one the tag belt or WrestleMania two years ago so it was just made a lot of sense and it sets it up for WrestleMania with Randy in Kevin which I want to have. 199 00:15:09,000 --> 00:15:17,000 I'm happy about their hand though like I kind of wanted to see Kevin and Sammy go at it again at WrestleMania because I think they also deserve that spot like is. 200 00:15:17,000 --> 00:15:34,000 It's not very often that we see two guys win the tag belt or WrestleMania and then fight each other WrestleMania just the who so maybe that's about it so outside of that like once again one of the better matches I've seen a long time I just really love that match. 201 00:15:34,000 --> 00:15:46,000 And then finally John Cena defeat CM Punk drew Macatar Logan Paul Damien Priest and Seth freaking Rollins in elimination chamber match for an undisputed WWE championship match at WrestleMania 41. 202 00:15:46,000 --> 00:16:00,000 We both had John Cena in this one really good men's chamber match the storytelling of this one most likely confirmed that drew Macatar Damien Priest and Seth Rollins CM Punk Roman Reigns will happen somehow WrestleMania. 203 00:16:00,000 --> 00:16:28,000 Cena did not dominate the match and had the closing segment to elimination chamber not happen which we will talk about here in just a second more I would have felt like Cena looked weak heading into an event match at WrestleMania 41 as he needed Seth Rollins help to win so it's very funny when you just watch the elimination chamber match at the surface and if the show just ended right there I think we'd be sitting here going man Cena did not look strong he needed like a miracle to win that match. 204 00:16:28,000 --> 00:16:37,000 I guess in a way he did need a miracle to win that match but what took place afterwards is what we will finally lift the lifetime ban on in just a second. 205 00:16:37,000 --> 00:16:40,000 Dr. Tre your thoughts on this match. 206 00:16:40,000 --> 00:16:49,000 Yeah it was I don't know I liked it it wasn't my favorite elimination chamber match we've had recently but I liked it. 207 00:16:49,000 --> 00:17:09,000 I think it started setting the groundwork for WrestleMania which is kind of what this needs to do is still kind of leaves Logan Paul on the outside looking in which why he's by the way why is he writing messages to Drake on the chamber wall I get that I didn't get but also they did not mention that Drake was there which was odd. 208 00:17:09,000 --> 00:17:18,000 Well I mean they don't want to get sued I guess I don't know there's a lot of kids in the crowd crap now we're getting sued anyway I digress. 209 00:17:18,000 --> 00:17:47,000 Yeah yeah I actually liked the booking of the way Cena won this match even like before the other stuff happened because this is an older John Cena this is not prime Superman John Cena this is John Cena who hasn't won a match in singles match in 500 summer days 25 I forgot the number was it was crazy number but I liked it that it was flukeish in a lot of ways that he won this and was able to pull it out. 210 00:17:47,000 --> 00:18:07,000 But you're right like on paper with that match in it I went yeah Cena doesn't look strong and I don't know how they're going to pull this off with him and Cody and make it interesting between now and then but yeah like I said like this it was a fine chamber match but the chamber match is not what's going to be memorable 10 years from now. 211 00:18:07,000 --> 00:18:17,000 All right paper view prediction record from this one I went three in one doctor when a perfect 4 and 0 now in 2025 did you see an big a J boom. 212 00:18:17,000 --> 00:18:18,000 And I did it. Whoa. 213 00:18:18,000 --> 00:18:19,000 Oh okay cool. 214 00:18:19,000 --> 00:18:31,000 25 favorite prediction records or PLA whatever you want to call it 11 and 3 me doctor tray 10 and 4 match of the night and event rating. 215 00:18:31,000 --> 00:18:39,000 I gave my match the night to the men's chamber match doctor tray and I gave elimination chamber a 4.2 out of 5. What's a you my friend. 216 00:18:39,000 --> 00:18:45,000 Okay now did you give it to the chamber match because of what happened or the actual chamber match itself. 217 00:18:45,000 --> 00:19:02,000 I enjoy the men's chamber match. I know you were a big fan of Sammie's and Kevin Owens. I thought it went on a little too long honestly I was not I was not overly I've seen and I think this is where this comes in so I don't know if this is your match. 218 00:19:02,000 --> 00:19:23,000 I have seen so many Kevin Owens and Sammie's and matches that I don't think that one crosses like the top 5 which is speaking very high praise because they have like match of the year candidates I think there was one that they did in WWE battleground like 2017 that was amazing and obviously the stuff that I saw back in the day. 219 00:19:23,000 --> 00:19:43,000 This one was not like I've seen a non-stanked match 2010 final battle our weight between these two guys that was much much better than this one but obviously they were on a bigger stage so that's why I did not choose Kevin Owens and Sammie's because I've seen so many of their stuff that I did not feel like that one was was on that level yet. 220 00:19:43,000 --> 00:19:55,000 So I did go Sammie and Kevin from my match tonight in its biasness it's what everyone call it but I just those guys can do basically as early they can do anything and I'm going to enjoy it. 221 00:19:55,000 --> 00:20:04,000 I gave a let me shame or 4.5 and a lot of it is because the closes show and the fact that this will stick on our memories for the next 20 years. 222 00:20:04,000 --> 00:20:33,000 So 4.5 for me for EC. Alright so let's get into it folks let it officially if there was a way to verbally do this we are lifting I feel like this is like a like we have a fault or what is it like a storage facility here with a lot of things we put away and we are forcing that door open right now and it is slowly creaking up and lifting the band of something that has been lifetime on this show. 223 00:20:33,000 --> 00:20:55,000 Literally stuff that we talked about ad nauseam in when this first show started when the show first started back during WrestleMania 28 and in WrestleMania 29 the rumors of it happening during WrestleMania 29 that came out years later and at one point we just said we got to stop talking about it because WWE is never going to do this and then they did it. 224 00:20:55,000 --> 00:21:05,000 So the band is lifted because ladies and gentlemen John Cena turned heel Dr. Trey your thoughts. 225 00:21:05,000 --> 00:21:15,000 So I think it's been an almost 11 year band was it rock scene a two when we really enforce the band. 226 00:21:15,000 --> 00:21:42,000 I believe so I was what rest like WrestleMania 30 29 29 so 12 year band that's pretty incredible because I think the only time we actually kind of creaked the vault door open was after the scene of Bray Wyatt cinematic match slightly because we saw seen in the NWO shirt during that match so it did open it a little bit but 227 00:21:42,000 --> 00:22:11,000 yeah this is honestly I had this conversation with my mother-in-law who's now a die heart wrestling fan and she never thought she's seen this coming I was like I thought there was a possibility of this but I didn't know if they either that they had time to pull it off correctly and be if they had the balls to do it because seen a merchandise still sells there is I mean you look that when they show the crowd shots after thing there was you know the last time is now she's going to be the last time. 228 00:22:11,000 --> 00:22:37,000 And the last time is now sure everywhere like there was a bunch of scene a merchandise in that crowd and to have the guts and the gumption to pull the trigger on it now is incredible like I literally I thought it might happen but I didn't see it coming but man it's it's up there top I mean I've gone back and forth all week long is 229 00:22:37,000 --> 00:23:06,000 really a real bigger than seen but in a lot of ways is very similar low both guys when they turn were about 15 years past their peak baby face time so when these guys both pull this pull the trigger on this it's it's incredible so and then just seeing him there and then you know the low blow the the belt shot the punch with the watch you all those things and then standing on Cody's head 230 00:23:06,000 --> 00:23:35,000 I know the shot people see you with his arms on his thigh with rock and Travis Scott for some weird reason being there because last time I think I saw Travis Scott he was with Jayusa so it's a weird thing but the fact of seeing seen a standing on somebody's head that that kind of level of disrespect is something we've never seen just do even when he was evil in his early days he was a standing on people's heads like that is like a concrete 231 00:23:35,000 --> 00:23:57,000 a conquering warrior super villain tight move I thought it was well done he has the best like blank empty stare I think I've seen in in a very very long time like it almost looked like I don't know if he knows it it looked like almost like his eyes change color like they would 232 00:23:57,000 --> 00:24:10,000 show close ups and it was just like there was nothing there he looks like the angry old man from Jeff Dunham's puppets a Walter see in the back always I know that is because I think I'm Walter now 233 00:24:10,000 --> 00:24:26,000 well I mean John seen it is only one month older than me like almost to the day so yeah it's just an amazing amazing thing they pull off and I applaud them for having the courage the guts in the balls to kind of take this route 234 00:24:26,000 --> 00:24:45,000 because the crazy is Jeff we've but I wrestle mania gets here he only has eight months left he said he was done at the end of the year so from wrestle mania to December 31 is like eight months like how do you get a heena 235 00:24:45,000 --> 00:25:04,000 a scene a heel run and then a potential redemption arc crammed into eight months because John Cena is not leaving the WWE as a villain he's gonna have to turn back at some point so these next eight months are going to be jam packed and maybe shotgun to 236 00:25:04,000 --> 00:25:25,000 bit but I'm here for the I'm here for I'm I'm wanting to see where this goes so there's a lot of questions and I was as you were talking I was like I wonder these are more complaints than they are questions so they may they may get in there so couple of things here so my initial thoughts are this proves along with the EOS guy thing and I think it's 237 00:25:25,000 --> 00:25:44,000 on a much lower level putting the title on the EOS guy what they're doing right now this shows that this creative team for WWE has the balls to do it they don't care about hindsight or what we've been told or thought forever they're going to do things that we so we did not see coming this is 238 00:25:44,000 --> 00:25:51,000 something we did not see coming because of what you said dr. this is the retirement or you got a figure and this is what I feel like you and I talked about when this was 239 00:25:51,000 --> 00:25:58,000 potentially brought up on the show or not we can't remember because we're too old men now was that we just felt like no this is going to be a great 240 00:25:58,000 --> 00:26:04,000 a sit for they they're not going to let them go out as a heel and and that's what they're doing they've decided to do the 241 00:26:04,000 --> 00:26:11,000 complete heel turn in the explanation behind it makes a lot of sense scenic would would be feeling the heat that he wants the record 242 00:26:11,000 --> 00:26:25,000 he he had it won a singles match in 2000 some odd days and he didn't know if if if he had it anymore and hustle loyalty and respect had failed him so he needed to sell out so that makes a ton of sense 243 00:26:25,000 --> 00:26:34,000 and they've got the the the gumption in balls to do it the things that I did not like about the situation is what you pointed out Travis got 244 00:26:34,000 --> 00:26:46,000 in there that does nothing for me I know that he radiates to somebody you know and I like hip hop music I like rap I don't listen to a lot of Travis got stuff I know he's a big star but that 245 00:26:46,000 --> 00:26:58,000 did a resonate with me so why he's in there in that moment made little sense other than they want to be able to put this out there on like entertainment tonight and those you know news broadcast sport broadcast but they could have 246 00:26:58,000 --> 00:27:13,000 done that because they had the number one movie star in the ring already with with Wayne Johnson and John Cena is a recognizable name and it was everywhere the other thing is it was a great moment and if you're comparing moments here and this is obviously 247 00:27:13,000 --> 00:27:27,000 going to be compared about to Holkogan in the NWO versus John Cena turning and citing with with the rock to me it is still Hogan joining NWO no questions asked because he wasn't 248 00:27:27,000 --> 00:27:40,000 at the downside of his career at that point Holkogan it was a lot of people were calling for it never thought it would happen he was kind of towards the very end of the prime a little bit in the WCW era they executed it and 249 00:27:40,000 --> 00:27:53,000 rejuvenated this I think there's a little bit of trepidation on the John Cena part because they we don't know how long he's going to be around for is the retirement tour that he's been speaking about just you know way to get us off the trail and 250 00:27:53,000 --> 00:28:08,000 and Cena is going to be around for a little bit longer we don't know that yet and I thought that there was no follow up on Monday's raw was a missed opportunity I don't know if seen has been announced for Smackdown yet as we record this but I felt like those were missed opportunities and and seen a 251 00:28:08,000 --> 00:28:17,000 should have addressed on Monday's raw because I think that would have been a great ratings boost for Netflix and if I'm Netflix I'm mad about it the second thing the crowd reaction from 252 00:28:17,000 --> 00:28:34,000 the beach 96 versus elimination chamber 2025 you could feel the crowd in that small arena in Florida that night I mean I mean small arena I mean what did I have over 10,000 people Roger center had 38,000 people I had a tough time watching at home 253 00:28:34,000 --> 00:28:42,000 doctor try what the crowd reaction was because when you're in a rena's like that or step baseball stadiums you know you'll hear the rest of 254 00:28:42,000 --> 00:28:57,000 the reaction goes up and literally everybody that's in that ring in those big events will tell you that they'll be wrestling in the ring and they can't hear the crowd so they don't know what they're doing is right because it's going completely up in the air and not bouncing back 255 00:28:57,000 --> 00:29:09,000 down off of the roof like it wasn't a rena so even though there was a great crowd reaction I was like I don't get the vibe for this and I was looking for people throwing stuff in the ring 256 00:29:09,000 --> 00:29:27,000 and I was like if people throw stuff in the ring as I was watching it I was like this is going to be a great moment people do it maybe it was just more shock and I thought WWE missed out on opportunities and they've done an after the fact you got to show me kids crying you got to show me adults crying were in the scene where and we were not seeing that in real 257 00:29:27,000 --> 00:29:41,000 time which I thought was disappointing and then lastly and I realize this is going to be very complaining because I do love that they did this move because of the options that they now have is I was thinking this one you won the match 258 00:29:41,000 --> 00:29:59,000 and then the scene has become so cartoony that I was like what has happened to this guy because his facial reactions are so much in bellishing and he's over reacting to stuff so much you want to be like who is this fake ass douchebag basically 259 00:29:59,000 --> 00:30:17,000 and then he did the transformation and I'm sorry doctor I know you liked it I thought it came off hokey and then they showed the the graphic for the match on raw and they went with that face that he did towards the end where he's looking out and I'm like 260 00:30:17,000 --> 00:30:27,000 this is what are they doing here so I this is to say that I still really enjoy that they did this move but I thought that when you because a lot of people are doing it when you're 261 00:30:27,000 --> 00:30:37,000 comparing it to bass the beach 96 I think it's a different ball game because in 96 we did not expect that to happen in 2025 we did not expect it to happen but there was 10% 262 00:30:37,000 --> 00:30:51,000 of us that still felt like it was coming and as you watch that segment go on I'm like oh man they got to do this like I feel like they're going to do this but I could totally see the show closing out and then they went for it I'm like all I could think of was like yes this was 263 00:30:51,000 --> 00:31:01,000 executed very well and was well done but the number one thing to me doctor tray was this creative team has balls because you would hear seen a say that they were trying to push forward 264 00:31:01,000 --> 00:31:11,000 at WrestleMania 29 heading in that match with the rock and Vince was the one who denied it because Vince didn't want to lose the merchandise Vince didn't want to lose the make a wish foundation 265 00:31:11,000 --> 00:31:21,000 stuff they had a gear picked out for scene they had a new theme song reportedly picked out for scene of the whole nine yards and they went against it and to me that was like the bigger thing of this I was 266 00:31:21,000 --> 00:31:37,000 like this creative team has balls on it and that's what I felt like was my biggest takeaway from the entire thing yeah I I love your observations like the scene in the background when Cody is talking to rock 267 00:31:37,000 --> 00:31:47,000 and he is just so overly animated I'm like yeah that that's weirdly cornyish you know and then you know the blank stare 268 00:31:47,000 --> 00:32:03,000 so there are two reasons for me that the hogan turn is still bigger than this one number one is something you alluded to there's no follow up there's no there was no immediately right there tell me why this happened 269 00:32:03,000 --> 00:32:13,000 like with hogan at bash the beach jean oakland got in the ring there's hauling action hogan's on in the mic telling the fans the stick it the birth of the new world order 270 00:32:13,000 --> 00:32:23,000 of the new world order of wrestling as hogan put it and then the trash are flying it so you felt that emotion you felt like betrayed by this man 271 00:32:23,000 --> 00:32:31,000 you didn't get that was seen it like you just get them standing there once again Travis Scott for no apparent reason to stand there 272 00:32:31,000 --> 00:32:41,000 and there's no follow up in the ring right there there's no follow up on Monday like we're left kind of dangling as to why this is happening 273 00:32:41,000 --> 00:32:49,000 and jecturing and alluding and making assumptions as to why their rationale is going to be number two is when hogan joined the NWO 274 00:32:49,000 --> 00:32:57,000 it was the three of them sigh by sigh but I think you immediately felt that hogan was the guy hogan's still the leader of this 275 00:32:57,000 --> 00:33:09,000 hollownash are following his lead and with this situation scene is answering to rock like it's a turn but he's not the prime guy 276 00:33:09,000 --> 00:33:21,000 the prime guy is still the final boss calling the shots so it kind of puts scene a below rock in this pecking order visually of how this turn came about 277 00:33:21,000 --> 00:33:30,000 and he's just you know selling out for rock where hogan did it to just basically stick it to everybody and you know he was going to be the top guy 278 00:33:30,000 --> 00:33:35,000 so I think those are my two reasons why the hogan one is still above the scene has heard 279 00:33:35,000 --> 00:33:43,000 yeah the follow up was was disappointed because I did not watch the press conferences following but I know seen it came in which I liked it 280 00:33:43,000 --> 00:33:50,000 I like that he came in and did the mic drop and left but I would have liked to hear okay so on Mondays raw on Netflix 281 00:33:50,000 --> 00:33:57,000 this is why you should have a Netflix account now if you've been bought in yet john scene is going to explain what happened and why he did this 282 00:33:57,000 --> 00:34:12,000 I think when rock spoke in the press conference it was like out of character and I maybe completely off on this but the stuff that I saw was like yeah he talked like he was an executive and it's like oh my god like no like explain to me what happened 283 00:34:12,000 --> 00:34:26,000 did he so he did not address it at all you're saying no no he was basically corporate rock in the sense of he was doing Johnson board member of t.k.o holdings and by the way I don't know about you 284 00:34:26,000 --> 00:34:54,000 I don't know if I like the press conferences because I don't know who I'm getting like are we still in k-fade mode like seen it k-fade mode walked out mic drop leaves and then you get there's one part or they're asking triple H the creative process behind the decision and he's talking about the collaborative efforts and I'm like should we are we get like I don't know who 285 00:34:54,000 --> 00:35:01,000 mean while beyond the layer of the like you mean while beyond the layers like I haven't spoken in a home in jd. 286 00:35:01,000 --> 00:35:13,000 Yeah it's like like you were crying inconsolably inside the cell but when the character have spoken to Naomi or gone to go check on her or at least 287 00:35:13,000 --> 00:35:32,000 I said hey I tried to go check on my partner to find out what happened but she's too injured to talk like something but it says it's like now I haven't talked to Naomi or or jd yet but like the show is three hours ago you haven't gone to check on the person you were crying in the 288 00:35:32,000 --> 00:35:44,000 way that may have been the most hopeiest crying I've ever seen as well that was just over the top you thought Bianca in the in the elimination chamber I don't want to get down there so you didn't like that I thought you did a good job. 289 00:35:44,000 --> 00:35:52,000 I thought you did a good job too but then when she comes to the press conference she hadn't talked to them I was like you're saying that part okay. 290 00:35:52,000 --> 00:36:17,000 Yeah like the conjecture between what I'm seeing at the beginning of the show to what I'm hearing the press conference doesn't really match up because I'm like I got one person in K-Fave one person not in K-Fave I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing with myself and I'm watching this like is this a legitimate press conference is it still a storyline press conference is it some kind of weird amalgamy where I don't know which one I'm supposed to get I don't know. 291 00:36:17,000 --> 00:36:28,000 At least with the the the the the A. W. one's other than when Tony cons speaks is typically in character for the most part you know other than you know see a punk. 292 00:36:28,000 --> 00:36:39,000 Yeah well yeah that's different I'm just taking a look here I'm really wondering like looking at the calendar I wonder if. 293 00:36:39,000 --> 00:36:46,000 If they're saving scene to explain himself in Madison Square Garden just because of the location. 294 00:36:46,000 --> 00:36:49,000 Is that the is that the show on the 15th. 295 00:36:49,000 --> 00:37:00,000 No it's the next Monday the next was at the 11th I think I think I read when I talked about his next is book the appearances he's booked for that show. 296 00:37:00,000 --> 00:37:24,000 So see that's a thing it's like how do you not do an angle with both those guys that you film where maybe you know they're in a locker room post elimination chamber and Travis Scott is in the background smoke and weed or sage whatever he's doing and meanwhile punching legitimately punching Cody in the face given him a black guy in a and a bruise broken eardrum. 297 00:37:24,000 --> 00:37:27,000 Did you see that punch from Travis Scott to Cody. 298 00:37:27,000 --> 00:37:39,000 He lifted Cody's head up and just well it wasn't a punch it was an open hand slap but like his palm caught him the way he swung it the palm. 299 00:37:39,000 --> 00:37:55,000 Yeah around the eye and the hand was over the ear they won't do it because Cody's a nice guy and things have changed but back in the day that boy would be receiving a receipt for that one especially being an outsider back in the day the rock would have gave him the receipt backstage. 300 00:37:55,000 --> 00:38:01,000 So no and so they they they they glorified him as he came through the curtains and how much you loved it anyway. 301 00:38:01,000 --> 00:38:24,000 Yeah I mean no follow up from rock or seen on Mondays raw was a missed opportunity if they're saving for masses were gone because location fine give me something something where it's rock and seen a backstage and Kathy Kelly Jackie Redmond is trying to get a word with them and they're they just don't say a word and they walk off give me some sort of 302 00:38:24,000 --> 00:38:38,000 follow up give me something where they pull a Kevin Owens and and Cody Rhodes is filming himself on FaceTime or taking a selfie video on what took place and hyping up his his you know he'll discuss it on Friday Smackdown 303 00:38:38,000 --> 00:38:45,000 blah blah blah like nothing I mean I got more excited about punk and Rollins kicking off the show. 304 00:38:45,000 --> 00:39:04,000 Then I did anything else and that to me it's like I really hate doing this because it did everything that it should have done this has been something that we're banging on the drum for such a long time turns in a year turns in a heal but the more I think about it the more I discussed it I'm like I think this may be five to 10 years too late again it's a very 305 00:39:04,000 --> 00:39:17,000 very ballsy move and I think the likelihood of this is in six weeks when we get to WrestleMania I'm sitting here going I've really enjoyed the build remember how I felt coming out of elimination chamber that we were pissed off that they did not follow up on that first 306 00:39:17,000 --> 00:39:28,000 immediate raw and it's played out great I think it has that capability because we've seen how well they've done when they turn Roman Reigns heal and let that run for as long as it's done granted that was two different types of 307 00:39:28,000 --> 00:39:41,000 negative teams at that point but it was so well done and executed and I fully expected that to happen as well but on the onset it's just like and I don't think it's one of those cases where it's leaving me wanting more where I want to like tune into 308 00:39:41,000 --> 00:39:52,000 Ron Smackdown I'm a die hard I'm locked in for WrestleMania season more importantly if you were getting the casuals based on what they saw on Saturday and they get a Netflix account or if they have a Netflix account and they tune 309 00:39:52,000 --> 00:40:06,000 into raw and the updates that they got on an entire situation that everybody is talking about on Monday morning whether it be sports center or your local newscast is punk and Rollins kicking it off and re and EO closed in the show all a very good 310 00:40:06,000 --> 00:40:19,000 episode of raw but no insane follow up I'm like what the hell are they doing so the follow up is what lyrgis like a little bit of the picture package yeah and again I don't know if they're 311 00:40:19,000 --> 00:40:31,000 going to have in it for Smackdown on the USA network on Friday or recording this on Wednesday afternoon for the Thursday download or whatever so it's very well possible that's what happens but it's like 312 00:40:31,000 --> 00:40:46,000 missed opportunity give me something if rock and scene have already gone away to go film whenever they're filming to wrap up these next couple weeks that's the reason why scene has been around in February so be it I also think that was a missed opportunity in the scene he'll turn is that he's been gone he was he was 313 00:40:46,000 --> 00:41:05,000 at Netflix for the first show gone until the rumble then gone from the rumble until elimination chamber so we missed any of the stuff we're seeing it could really ride home how desperate he needed to get this victory under his belt how badly he needed it and I just felt like those would have been nice little Easter eggs to plant 314 00:41:05,000 --> 00:41:23,000 the seeds to build up to something big and instead you know Cena was in like hungry or something filming a peacemaker I'm no fucking clue but yeah this really doesn't sound like it I really think this plays out well I like that they did the scene he he'll turn I'm 315 00:41:23,000 --> 00:41:34,000 really intrigued how this plays out during the retirement or but it's like all the stuff that could have been leading up to it that made it even more impactful all the stuff that would have been just as impactful coming out of it 316 00:41:34,000 --> 00:41:47,000 it just feels like it's missed opportunities because this isn't what they would create of one and do they would want to play in the seeds but they're working around a movie star schedule and that what makes it so damn difficult which is kind of what you hear about when it comes to the rocks 317 00:41:47,000 --> 00:42:02,000 creative to begin with so I think this all plays out great again such balls on their part to do this because they are theoretically you would assume losing merchandise numbers for this 318 00:42:02,000 --> 00:42:18,000 retirement or I don't think John Cena is going to come out on Mondays Raw if he's going to be there at Madison Square Garden where you can't see me shirt and Nick scholars because they're in Madison Square Garden or Rangers colors I don't think that's got to happen it may possibly if he comes out in 319 00:42:18,000 --> 00:42:28,000 jordan is normal t shirt and hat I'm going to be like oh god this is what the figure they doing they got to go 180 with the scene characters so it's crazy by the way I was 320 00:42:28,000 --> 00:42:40,000 shooting on a doctor tray I hate that I'm doing this I really do it's like I was so excited to talk about it but as we talk about I'm like fuck they they this is perfect but maybe they dropped a bag a little bit 321 00:42:40,000 --> 00:42:50,000 I mean I think they missed out on the raw thing that's the big thing me they missed out on the raw stuff I was going to ask you as funny you mentioned that because I was like because in my head 322 00:42:50,000 --> 00:43:06,000 so like I'm like you know me like you know me for god 15 years basically almost 20 in a lot of ways I'm fantasy booking this thing like long term out already I'm like oh what version of Cena are we getting are we getting 323 00:43:06,000 --> 00:43:14,000 Hollywood Cena like a list celebrity Cena like kind of like we're getting with final boss are we getting like that version or are we getting 324 00:43:14,000 --> 00:43:29,000 John Cena at a press conference in China in a suit and tie speaking Mandarin are we getting corporate Cena are we getting Hollywood Cena if we get Hollywood Cena you know it would be a really great fit into this if this goes out a little bit longer and seen a need to 325 00:43:29,000 --> 00:43:35,000 stable he needs to have the Miz with him I think you're going to say bring in I thought you're going to bring in Hogan because Hogan's getting 326 00:43:35,000 --> 00:43:54,000 no no I say bring in Miz because then you have the three a list stars to get rock Cena Miz but then that ties in that whole member Miz still brings up him beating Cena at WrestleMania when the rock was like who took off Cody that somebody else may take it on Smackdown 327 00:43:54,000 --> 00:44:11,000 yeah it was me yeah so I mean I love like tying all that together by the way how did you see the video of when Cody confronted rock like 15 years ago in the ring would he have he wrote him off right rock 328 00:44:11,000 --> 00:44:23,000 yeah but when he walked out Cena was laying on the ramp and Cody completely blew off John Cena to get in the ring with the rock to look at the belt and all that stuff and I was like so he's like this is great long 329 00:44:23,000 --> 00:44:35,000 serenatory selling and I'm like no that one's not that just coincident more than the else but yeah I'm excited I do have a compliment because you're talking about video packages I thought the video 330 00:44:35,000 --> 00:45:01,000 I did run on raw where they had like old scene eclipse did I thought that was good yeah yeah and to me like I'm really happy about the turn I'm really excited about where this goes my my critique is more the miss opportunity of the follow-up you know on Monday because like you said everybody was tall I got people texting me 331 00:45:01,000 --> 00:45:24,000 that I don't think have watched wrestling in ten years 15 years like John Cena turned heel are you serious like I'm getting exactly there was no father the other thing I'm excited about is or I'm trepidations about is like I said earlier you can't have seen a retire in December as a heel 332 00:45:24,000 --> 00:45:45,000 he has to go back to being a baby face and how are you going to cram in a heel turn to a redemption arc in eight months unless he goes past that in December line which triple H has said repeatedly in multiple press conferences when John says he's done I fully expect him to say he's that that's it and John has said this is the last year 333 00:45:45,000 --> 00:46:06,000 how do you cram all this in eight months let me ask you doctor trade did you think in April of last year that by October Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns would be teaming with each other to take on the blood line if you would ask me prior to WrestleMania I would have said no if you would ask me a month after 334 00:46:06,000 --> 00:46:29,000 WrestleMania I would have said yes because you've been off TV for a while and solo had to send it up. Yeah like it's it's one of those things where it's like how do you cram like look there is pretend I mean this this is a story because here's the other thing we still have not seen like really rock in Roman since WrestleMania together 335 00:46:29,000 --> 00:46:58,000 we have not seen any of that stuff we remember the solo standing on the ramp when rock came out and did the three and that's all part of the plan like we have a no follow up on that like there are some things that we've kind of had to kind of jump around and make loose that typically we would knock AW4 that we haven't really done with WWE because they're having to work around the rocks schedule but where does where does Roman fit into this post WrestleMania like there's 336 00:46:58,000 --> 00:47:18,000 a lot of meat on this bone to chew on but we only have eight months to chew it on basically so how do you cram all this stuff in there to really get the best out of what they're doing right now and then a potential redemption arc that probably leads to senior rock three. 337 00:47:18,000 --> 00:47:25,000 Yeah actually think I was going to match that I think this is how this closes out I think rocks are excuse me see this retirement matches in a rock. 338 00:47:25,000 --> 00:47:35,000 Yeah that's kind of where I'm leading to but the here's the upside we're we kept saying we want to see it in Randy Orton well seen as a heel or is a baby face that's easier to get done now. 339 00:47:35,000 --> 00:47:43,000 Like I saw somebody post like hey see you go heel he could have some really good matches the next few months after us on mania with punk. 340 00:47:43,000 --> 00:47:53,000 Orton even a Damien priest leading to and then maybe even a Roman race leading to him turning on rock leading to eventually rock seen a three. 341 00:47:53,000 --> 00:47:58,000 So let me ask you this doctor try let's wrap this up before we get to our rest of 41 card round up. 342 00:47:58,000 --> 00:48:07,000 Which scene of direction would you have preferred scene of the baby face taken on Cody Rhodes or seen of the heel taken on Cody Rhodes. 343 00:48:07,000 --> 00:48:14,000 Uh scene of the heel taken on Cody Rhodes I like I think I've said like from a week's when this whole first idea of. 344 00:48:14,000 --> 00:48:25,000 And Cody Rhodes came up I hate baby face maybe face because your crowd gets split you're going to have the old fans cheering for for scene of the younger fans cheering for Cody. 345 00:48:25,000 --> 00:48:39,000 This separates those two this means you have to choose a side head against a wrestle made it and here's the crazy thing Jeff you might get a little bit of rock hogan here where you're going to get people that cheer for scene up just because he's john seen. 346 00:48:39,000 --> 00:48:52,000 Oh, 100. It's going to be there and I think that's why we got that crowd response we got in Toronto is there was a lot of 35 40 year old guys who were like F. Yeah it's about time he finally turned. 347 00:48:52,000 --> 00:48:57,000 And I don't think that's why it was as pronounced as once again. 348 00:48:57,000 --> 00:49:07,000 The sound in the building different also then what happened in a bash of the beach but there was a lot of people who were really excited to actually see this finally come to fruition. 349 00:49:07,000 --> 00:49:12,000 When we've been asking for for for 12 years at least. 350 00:49:12,000 --> 00:49:19,000 Okay so there you go there's a lot of talk about their john scene has turned heel I feel like we've gotten the last of our. 351 00:49:19,000 --> 00:49:23,000 What was the things that the Avengers were getting. 352 00:49:23,000 --> 00:49:30,000 Like their jewels or whatever all the infinity stones. Yeah I feel like we've got all all of our infinity so is there anything left now dr. 353 00:49:30,000 --> 00:49:39,000 Punk comes back. See it turns he was it was punk it was punk not it was punk returning we weren't allowed talk about scene. 354 00:49:39,000 --> 00:49:48,000 Turning heel we were allowed talk about I thought there was one more but I think that happened a long time ago there was originally there was three but one happened really quickly. 355 00:49:48,000 --> 00:49:52,000 Like after like we we did it and then like two years later that rule changed. 356 00:49:52,000 --> 00:50:13,000 It's bizarre but those were the two those were the two holy grails so to speak of what we weren't allowed talk about on the podcast so there you go john scene is a heel I'm sure this will be stuff that we would dominate in here in the coming weeks and should be fun the road to WrestleMania and I was crappin all over some of the stuff but it's because I wanted to be perfect and nothing will ever be perfect but it was. 357 00:50:13,000 --> 00:50:17,000 What was the compliment you said you had a compliment. 358 00:50:17,000 --> 00:50:22,000 The compliment is is they had the balls to do it. 359 00:50:22,000 --> 00:50:27,000 When I was talking you were like oh I got a compliment so okay yeah the balls yeah. 360 00:50:27,000 --> 00:50:32,000 I don't know remember what was it specifically was it to see a stuff. 361 00:50:32,000 --> 00:50:39,000 What was saying like when you mentioned the jerk like the New York Ranger stuff I'm like I wonder what john scene we're getting. 362 00:50:39,000 --> 00:50:52,000 I'm going to be like Hollywood scene or corporate and you're like oh I do have a compliment and by the way I have not told Sammy Franklin that john scene is a bad guy because that is the only wrestler. 363 00:50:52,000 --> 00:50:59,000 He can visually look at and identify like we rolled through a McDonald's the other morning to grab some breakfast. 364 00:50:59,000 --> 00:51:04,000 He saw john scene on the billboard thing there and with dad that's john scene. 365 00:51:04,000 --> 00:51:07,000 I haven't told him that john scene is a bad guy yet. 366 00:51:07,000 --> 00:51:14,000 He's not a video just shown the video in film it see what his reaction is he might be he might be happy about it because he has no idea who Cody Rhodes is. 367 00:51:14,000 --> 00:51:16,000 He might be okay with it. 368 00:51:16,000 --> 00:51:19,000 There you go natural heel he's a natural heel. 369 00:51:19,000 --> 00:51:20,000 All right last thing here. 370 00:51:20,000 --> 00:51:22,000 RESTO MANY 41 card round up. 371 00:51:22,000 --> 00:51:27,000 We have two new and confirmed matches Cody Rhodes taking on john scene for WWE championship. 372 00:51:27,000 --> 00:51:31,000 We just talked about that EO Sky versus Bianca Belair for the women's world championship. 373 00:51:31,000 --> 00:51:36,000 There is a belief potentially that maybe this becomes a triple threat with a really quickly getting back involved. 374 00:51:36,000 --> 00:51:41,000 I think we've talked about those two matches pretty much here throughout the entire show. 375 00:51:41,000 --> 00:51:47,000 Dr. Trey is there anything else you want to add about those two before we look into some rumored matches for WrestleMania? 376 00:51:47,000 --> 00:51:54,000 No I just I'm happy for EO I just don't know and I'm going to give him some time. 377 00:51:54,000 --> 00:51:59,000 I don't know if it's the right move yet because I think on paper Ria and Bianca is the bigger draw. 378 00:51:59,000 --> 00:52:05,000 But if they're trying to push you know this might be a gender mahal type move like we need to do that. 379 00:52:05,000 --> 00:52:09,000 We need some more viewers in Japan so let's put EO up there. 380 00:52:09,000 --> 00:52:14,000 I don't know like this I don't I got a weight to see how this plays out before. 381 00:52:14,000 --> 00:52:17,000 If it goes triple threat if they do two separate singles matches. 382 00:52:17,000 --> 00:52:25,000 I don't know where it's going yet like I'm happy for EO but I kind of like right now I feel like this that they shot themselves in the foot. 383 00:52:25,000 --> 00:52:28,000 Okay okay there you go so more on that in just a second. 384 00:52:28,000 --> 00:52:36,000 I'm going to go through some of the rumored matches I have down Dr. Trey say very quickly if it's got to happen or not happen or WrestleMania. 385 00:52:36,000 --> 00:52:37,000 Okay so let's see how you feel. 386 00:52:37,000 --> 00:52:40,000 Okay Drew McIntyre versus Damien Priest. 387 00:52:40,000 --> 00:52:42,000 Yes that will happen. 388 00:52:42,000 --> 00:52:45,000 So let's go versus Jacob Fato. 389 00:52:45,000 --> 00:52:54,000 I think it's going to happen but I'm not happy about it is that I guess that answers your question. 390 00:52:54,000 --> 00:52:58,000 So I'm going to give you okay that's fine does answer my question. 391 00:52:58,000 --> 00:53:02,000 I'm going to give you next match here and I'm going to give you two options and tell me which one is more likely. 392 00:53:02,000 --> 00:53:11,000 Roman Reigns versus Seth Freakin Rollins versus CM Punk or Seth Freakin Rollins and Becky Lynch versus CM Punk and AJ Lee. 393 00:53:11,000 --> 00:53:17,000 I'm going to say the triple threat match is more likely. 394 00:53:17,000 --> 00:53:22,000 I think Roman gets involved in this deal cage match some way somehow. 395 00:53:22,000 --> 00:53:34,000 And that's once again like do you want to have one thing we always have like the variety if you have if you do a triple threat in the women's match do you do a triple threat for this men's match then you have two triple threats. 396 00:53:34,000 --> 00:53:42,000 So I think the tag match is happening sooner rather than later mind you. 397 00:53:42,000 --> 00:53:45,000 I think it's. 398 00:53:45,000 --> 00:53:48,000 I could see that post WrestleMania. 399 00:53:48,000 --> 00:53:56,000 Who do you think we get is going to get a bigger pop AJ or Becky when they return AJ I think punk punk and AJ are going to be the baby faces in this one. 400 00:53:56,000 --> 00:54:07,000 Yeah they got bring Larry out of the ring side the bigger pop right there by the way I'll say by the way so I don't know there's a game on the mobile device that's called W. 401 00:54:07,000 --> 00:54:15,000 Super card basically like you collect cards and power them up Larry is now a card in that game. 402 00:54:15,000 --> 00:54:27,000 We have to download this now again two match options tell me which one you think is more likely to happen Kevin Owens versus Randy Orton or Kevin Owens versus Randy or versus Sammy Zane. 403 00:54:27,000 --> 00:54:33,000 More likely Kevin versus Randy but then Sammy gets involved. 404 00:54:33,000 --> 00:54:35,000 Okay. 405 00:54:35,000 --> 00:54:45,000 I have a live in Rock L defending against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross although there was a soft going on there between Alexa and live in an elimination chamber match. 406 00:54:45,000 --> 00:54:50,000 Yeah I think it's likely but then you know I still think you also eventually. 407 00:54:50,000 --> 00:54:55,000 Excuse me this might be like a four way match or some kind of ladder match where. 408 00:54:55,000 --> 00:55:01,000 You get Alexa Nikki but then you also get the returning Oscar and Kyrie saying together again as well. 409 00:55:01,000 --> 00:55:12,000 I could see Nyan Candace being at it and in the background of one of the segments on raw was Natalia and Maxine to pre talking so it's like a wonder if there was something there. 410 00:55:12,000 --> 00:55:16,000 So Zoe and Shayna that do nothing right now because Sony got fired. 411 00:55:16,000 --> 00:55:19,000 I let go just basically not resigned. 412 00:55:19,000 --> 00:55:23,000 I go yeah unfortunately because Sony I thought Sony was great I love Sony. 413 00:55:23,000 --> 00:55:27,000 Rey Mysterio and Big E versus the new day. 414 00:55:27,000 --> 00:55:32,000 You brought this up last week and if that happens I'm fork is a. 415 00:55:32,000 --> 00:55:41,000 We love us some big E I use big men slapping meat quite a lot when I'm describing a big guys fighting a rocket city. 416 00:55:41,000 --> 00:55:47,000 We do have a tornado tag team match on Mondays Ron MSG between new day and. 417 00:55:47,000 --> 00:55:56,000 I love the graphic of the tornado spin up there doing that all those shuffle things I love it was pretty funny I gotta be honest. 418 00:55:56,000 --> 00:56:07,000 A brawn breaker defending the intercontinental championship in a multi man match I think it could have AJ Styles Logan Paul Finn Ballard Dominic Mysterio and even Penta in it. 419 00:56:07,000 --> 00:56:18,000 Yeah I think that's the best way if you ever want to get the belt off brawn I think that in without hurting his character I think this is the best move to make is just have a multi man match. 420 00:56:18,000 --> 00:56:28,000 Penta is the hottest star on the show right now so you got to get him involved Kaiser though that triple throw match on the rock always go with the win. 421 00:56:28,000 --> 00:56:38,000 My friend Kaiser they're shameless I mean there's a lot of guys you can throw into this match I mean it might be a ladder match a gauntlet match something but it's a way to get the belt off brawn. 422 00:56:38,000 --> 00:56:43,000 If you want to move brawn up to either Jay or Gunther post WrestleMania. 423 00:56:43,000 --> 00:56:50,000 Shinsuke Nakamura defending against LA night LA night is the number one contender do they save it for Mania now. 424 00:56:50,000 --> 00:57:01,000 I don't know if it be a Mania match or a Smackdown before Mania match but I do think that's on the cards but by the way how much fun would be if LA night and Miz joined Johnson in the rock. 425 00:57:01,000 --> 00:57:09,000 I think that'd be pretty cool you have a little bit of a stable local little wasn't a Roman rain Roman rains once called LA night the redneck version of his cousin. 426 00:57:09,000 --> 00:57:17,000 Yes he did DIY defending the WWE tag team champion against the Motorcyle machine guns three profits and pretty deadly. 427 00:57:17,000 --> 00:57:27,000 Yeah it's going to be some kind of combination there I think all these guys are the way their position in the end it's going to be some kind of multi man tag multi team tag team match. 428 00:57:27,000 --> 00:57:32,000 And then finally I think it's as easy Jade carcola versus Naomi. 429 00:57:32,000 --> 00:57:40,000 That's pretty easy which means like do you save Jayden Bianca for summer slam or do you save Jayden Bianca for next WrestleMania. 430 00:57:40,000 --> 00:57:45,000 Oh I think you're doing now. Oh Jayden Bianca for next mania. Yes. 431 00:57:45,000 --> 00:57:48,000 Yes yes I feel like that could be a summer slam. 432 00:57:48,000 --> 00:57:50,000 Yeah I think that's summer slam. 433 00:57:50,000 --> 00:57:52,000 I think that's a summer slam for sure. 434 00:57:52,000 --> 00:57:59,000 Is there any is there any that I'm missing from you doctor try. 435 00:57:59,000 --> 00:58:06,000 I think I'll tell my head I think we've kind of covered most of the top guys. 436 00:58:06,000 --> 00:58:10,000 Yeah right now it's about all I can think of on my head. 437 00:58:10,000 --> 00:58:19,000 Okay there you go so feel free to chime in on the WrestleMania 41 card round up I'm sure we'll have more matches confirmed here in the coming days and weeks. 438 00:58:19,000 --> 00:58:28,000 And hopefully we hear from John Cena in the rock soon because I feel like so many questions and not in a good way it's not like the anticipation is like I can't wait to hear them it's like. 439 00:58:28,000 --> 00:58:36,000 I want to hear them like what are we doing like follow up on this the way the entertainment is nowadays and people get their information it's more and more and now now now. 440 00:58:36,000 --> 00:58:47,000 And I really felt like they could have continued to capitalize on this so it's been a wild couple days it's a great way to kick off the road to WrestleMania 41 there are no WWE PLE's in the way now. 441 00:58:47,000 --> 00:59:01,000 Except for everything during WrestleMania weekend this is nothing but WrestleMania build and it is the funnest time of the year with that said that's going to couple plugs and spots the way you can download show every Thursday or Friday at real guy radio dot com Russell Chatton that on X. 442 00:59:01,000 --> 00:59:15,000 And on the still real the show feeds wherever you get us Apple Spotify Amazon wherever don't forget to rate review and subscribe to help us out in any of those locations where you download this podcast the algorithms are king. 443 00:59:15,000 --> 00:59:28,000 You could follow us individually on X for myself at SRT you Jeff and for Dr. Franklin at the Dr. Trey and of course don't forget the fall show on X at SRT you podcast with that being said what is going on the one for world of Dr. Franklin this week. 444 00:59:28,000 --> 00:59:44,000 Well like Jeff said you can follow me on X at the Dr. Trey you can find me on Instagram and Facebook Dr. Trey Franklin when you're on Facebook check out Rockets in Championship Wrestling just had a really good show this past Saturday next show is March 15th. 445 00:59:44,000 --> 00:59:57,000 As we are on our own road to wrestling con coming up May 17th from the lovely Hazel Green Alabama we also have a big show coming up May 29th. 446 00:59:57,000 --> 01:00:05,000 A conjunction show that we're doing in Hazel Green featuring super crazy will be on that show as well so be sure to check out the Facebook page. 447 01:00:05,000 --> 01:00:15,000 Most importantly get out there check out your lovely independent wrestling where you two can go out there and watch a guy say go fuck yourself Rock even though the rocks not there. 448 01:00:15,000 --> 01:00:24,000 Hey I loved that they did not believe that that should be something I'll say I thought that was great don't believe it saving for that no longer a kid show I am. 449 01:00:24,000 --> 01:00:38,000 Oh this you believe it is a wild time of professional wrestling Johnson as a heel I don't know what else is going to be banned on this podcast now because we've hit them all and again it is a very fun time to be a wrestling fan with everything in the sake of place. 450 01:00:38,000 --> 01:00:55,000 Recymbany 41 card build continues next week's edition of SRT you have a great weekend enjoy spread the word about the still real show and don't forget to rate review and subscribe so until next week for Dr. Tray Franklin I am Jeff Pack this has been the story of the show.
