- 0:07Speaker 1: A pat from carrying each other to and Natty to
- 0:09Speaker 1: carrying each other.
- 0:11Speaker 3: On the air, there's prop control the.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Caines Studio.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's Off the Bench.
- 0:49Speaker 4: All right, welcome back in Now we're number three of
- 0:51Speaker 4: o TV. Here live from the Raising Caines Studio. It's
- 0:55Speaker 4: nine am on Tuesday, so you know what that means.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Our got Nick Underhill, New Orleans Dot Football joins us. Now, Nicholas,
- 1:01Speaker 4: how are we doing, sir?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Doing great?
- 1:03Speaker 4: How you guys doing doing fantastic? Lad to have you
- 1:05Speaker 4: on as always. The Saints had a rookie mini camp
- 1:09Speaker 4: over the last couple of days. We get a chance
- 1:11Speaker 4: to see the draft choices, the undrafted free agent rookies
- 1:15Speaker 4: out there.
- 1:15Speaker 5: So we'll start there.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Maybe some things that stood out to you for rookie
- 1:21Speaker 4: minnie camp and getting an eye for the first time
- 1:23Speaker 4: in these guys in a Saint uniform.
- 1:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean it's tough. Like it's it's an hour
- 1:29Speaker 6: long practice. We were out there two days. The first
- 1:31Speaker 6: forty minutes or rots on Aaron drills and then there's
- 1:34Speaker 6: like sixteen reps to seven on seven's with Easton stick
- 1:38Speaker 6: and you know, like the throws aren't necessarily sharp, so
- 1:44Speaker 6: it's kind of tough to get like big impressions.
- 1:45Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:46Speaker 6: I thought, I thought Barrion Brown looked good, like he's
- 1:49Speaker 6: he's obviously fascots on the field, had a really nice
- 1:52Speaker 6: downfield play. Jordan Tyson the first day he was out there.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Second day he wasn't due to maintenance switch.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, you know, I think it's.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Like a one on the Worriometer, like we aren't we
- 2:06Speaker 6: aren't going to see him back out of practice until
- 2:08Speaker 6: the end of the month. So like even if it
- 2:09Speaker 6: was something like, you know, so far out from camp
- 2:11Speaker 6: but looked really good that first day, runs very Chris Brouts, you.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Know, very obviously.
- 2:17Speaker 6: You go out there and you know, it's a it's
- 2:19Speaker 6: a it's a lot of guys that are going to
- 2:21Speaker 6: be doing something else in a couple of weeks, you know,
- 2:24Speaker 6: And and you want the first round pick to look
- 2:26Speaker 6: leaps and bounds better than everybody else, and and and
- 2:29Speaker 6: he did. And then brock reck Steiner just got signed
- 2:33Speaker 6: the Jacksonville state wide receiver. He I mean, like you
- 2:37Speaker 6: were out there for five minutes and it was like,
- 2:38Speaker 6: oh he's getting signed. Like he just looked way different
- 2:41Speaker 6: than everybody else. His dad's actually Scott Steiner from the
- 2:45Speaker 6: w W e WWF and and he just looks like
- 2:49Speaker 6: a like a freak man, like he's he's an athletic,
- 2:52Speaker 6: like he's just so so he was different, very violent
- 2:56Speaker 6: in how he played like a tacks the ball in
- 2:58Speaker 6: the air, like just kind of looked different than everybody else.
- 3:01Speaker 6: And you know, like I said, like it was like
- 3:02Speaker 6: five minutes and it was like, oh, number ten is
- 3:04Speaker 6: gonna get signed. And then he got signed yesterday. So
- 3:07Speaker 6: those are kind of the standout things.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I thought Oscar Delp moved pretty well, looks looks good,
- 3:12Speaker 6: looks the part just kind of in that that first
- 3:15Speaker 6: impression like okay, yeah that that that's kind of how
- 3:17Speaker 6: you want it to look. No overarching like major take.
- 3:20Speaker 6: So like I think everything kind of appeared as it should.
- 3:24Speaker 6: We saw Xavier and Harris. He's in a walking boot,
- 3:27Speaker 6: but I mean that is an incredibly large human being,
- 3:29Speaker 6: the old miss defensive tackle they signed as a ud FA.
- 3:33Speaker 6: But overall, yeah, I mean I think it. I think
- 3:35Speaker 6: it was a good couple of little days. You know,
- 3:38Speaker 6: I think it's really interesting how how Callen Moore approaches it.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Like he throws a lot at these guys, like your
- 3:43Speaker 6: receivers are first day of practice, first time they put
- 3:46Speaker 6: on a Saints uniform. They're lining up at all three
- 3:48Speaker 6: spots at receiver. There's a lot of motion, Like he's
- 3:51Speaker 6: throwing a lot of a lot at him, like very
- 3:53Speaker 6: very quick, which is which is different than the look
- 3:56Speaker 6: of like Sean Payton and then Pete Carmichael practice.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Like it was.
- 4:00Speaker 6: It's just a little bit of a different approach, and
- 4:02Speaker 6: like a year into it, like you're still kind of
- 4:04Speaker 6: seeing some things that are like, you know, that's different,
- 4:06Speaker 6: that's new. But yeah, I mean I thought it looked
- 4:08Speaker 6: pretty good for two days.
- 4:10Speaker 8: All right, So let's go back rewind.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You're not going to get away with air quoting Jordan
- 4:14Speaker 3: Tyson and not talking about his missed day for maintenance,
- 4:18Speaker 3: Like what's uh, what's kind of the feeling with you
- 4:22Speaker 3: and your counterparts of there in New Orleans, which'll think
- 4:25Speaker 3: is happening with that situation.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, so he obviously had the hamstring injury
- 4:32Speaker 6: all throughout the off season, and you know, you're going
- 4:35Speaker 6: on several months now, and yeah, it might be a
- 4:38Speaker 6: maintenance plan, but I mean, I think that's just a
- 4:41Speaker 6: cover word for you know, this thing isn't healed all
- 4:44Speaker 6: the way yet.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And look, I'd rather they have.
- 4:46Speaker 6: A plan for it and they and they're slow with
- 4:48Speaker 6: it then being super aggressive and pushing it, especially this
- 4:51Speaker 6: early in the off season. There were times, man like
- 4:55Speaker 6: under previous regimes where where there wasn't necessarily a plan
- 4:59Speaker 6: for injury and you'd see crazy stuff and people getting
- 5:02Speaker 6: hurt all the time, and and you know, guys with
- 5:05Speaker 6: broken bones being told to practice and stuff like this.
- 5:08Speaker 6: So I mean, like it's it's a much it's a
- 5:10Speaker 6: much better approach. It's much more cautious.
- 5:13Speaker 8: I just you know, I.
- 5:14Speaker 6: Don't know, like he's he's out there one day, he
- 5:16Speaker 6: looks fine. The next day, like he's not even watching
- 5:18Speaker 6: the practice. Like it was a little bit like huh,
- 5:19Speaker 6: like I wonder what's happening here, But like that might
- 5:22Speaker 6: just be that might just be how they.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Wanted to approach it.
- 5:25Speaker 6: But on the flip side, like Lorenzo Styles has a
- 5:27Speaker 6: little injury and he was still out there at practice
- 5:29Speaker 6: like watching, So it was it was a different approach.
- 5:31Speaker 6: He was very obviously getting treatment.
- 5:33Speaker 8: He wasn't watching, he wasn't out there on the field.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Now, he wasn't out there at all, but like you
- 5:38Speaker 2: might have been getting you know, treatment, like that might
- 5:40Speaker 2: have been the plan. But it's just kind of you.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Know, as I'm a reporter man like I look at
- 5:44Speaker 6: everything skeptically even and a lot of things I look
- 5:46Speaker 6: at skeptically end up being.
- 5:48Speaker 2: As they are.
- 5:49Speaker 6: But you know, every now and then it's like, huh,
- 5:50Speaker 6: like I wonder, I wonder if this is all the
- 5:52Speaker 6: way what's going on here? I don't think it's anything
- 5:54Speaker 6: to worry about. I guarantee he's out there the next
- 5:56Speaker 6: time we're out there. But yeah, I mean, like you'd
- 5:58Speaker 6: rather see a guy practice, not practice.
- 6:01Speaker 3: You being a reporter, like I would say, not being
- 6:05Speaker 3: a practice is a weird thing.
- 6:07Speaker 8: There's plenty of time to get treatment.
- 6:09Speaker 3: You can get treatment before after middle of the night,
- 6:12Speaker 3: right now, There's only so many times you're out there
- 6:14Speaker 3: on the practice field. That's that's weird to me. I'm
- 6:17Speaker 3: not saying there's anything that was part of their plan.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Maybe it was like, yeah, well this is the treatment
- 6:22Speaker 3: time for you instead of practice, But like that's a
- 6:24Speaker 3: weird thing. It's either the boat. Yeah, it's that's a
- 6:27Speaker 3: weird thing on Kellen, like he's got it. You got
- 6:30Speaker 3: to be out of practice.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Yeah, like I would have even just optically like it
- 6:36Speaker 6: was a fifty five minute practice, like if he's standing
- 6:39Speaker 6: out there watching when we go back and we're talking
- 6:42Speaker 6: about it on Tuesday morning on off the bench, like
- 6:44Speaker 6: it's a different time.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You know, at what point do y'all get to see practice?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Is it from the start to finish or do y'all
- 6:49Speaker 3: come in after they've already warmed up.
- 6:51Speaker 6: So for the rookie thing is basically start to finish
- 6:54Speaker 6: is walk through routes on air stretch, positional drills seven
- 7:00Speaker 6: on seven. So it feels like we're seeing pretty much
- 7:02Speaker 6: the whole entire thing. We're seeing the install all of it.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yeah, now that Jacob like great, Like if you're you
- 7:08Speaker 3: might have been different. But like the only time you
- 7:10Speaker 3: would ever miss a practice, especially a young guy, is
- 7:14Speaker 3: if like it tweaked, like at the beginning of practice
- 7:17Speaker 3: or like right forard or something like that, go in,
- 7:19Speaker 3: go in, get the immediate treatment.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Yeah, no, we'd have a script, like we'd have our
- 7:22Speaker 5: own script.
- 7:23Speaker 8: And we'd be going to follow through.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Do you hear you sit right next to the coach,
- 7:25Speaker 3: especially at a rookie mini camp.
- 7:28Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, all right, very fishing quotes right fish right there.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I didn't know he wasn't at practice, that is, I
- 7:36Speaker 4: didn't know that is well, I knew he missed, but
- 7:38Speaker 4: I didn't know he wasn't actually out there. So that's
- 7:41Speaker 4: something certainly to pay attention to, Like when's the next
- 7:43Speaker 4: time that the like we'll get a chance to see everybody.
- 7:47Speaker 8: When's that coming?
- 7:48Speaker 2: So the twenty eighth.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Yeah, And like I poked around a little bit with
- 7:50Speaker 6: some sources and they're like at like minor soft tissue things,
- 7:52Speaker 6: so like I think it that might just be the hamstring,
- 7:54Speaker 6: Like it might not be a major Like it didn't
- 7:56Speaker 6: sound crazy.
- 7:57Speaker 5: I mean he did miss all of like the combine
- 7:59Speaker 5: and everything.
- 8:00Speaker 4: He had his own pro day because like he wasn't
- 8:02Speaker 4: fully ready to go during that process, and so maybe
- 8:06Speaker 4: for you know, he goes out there for the first
- 8:07Speaker 4: time in practice and it just didn't respond the way
- 8:10Speaker 4: he wanted it to.
- 8:12Speaker 6: Yeah, he looked good, I mean he looked good throughout
- 8:14Speaker 6: the whole entire thing. So it was a little bit surprising, honestly,
- 8:17Speaker 6: Like when he was out there and then we talked
- 8:18Speaker 6: to him after that first practice and he's like, I'm
- 8:20Speaker 6: good to go. Yeah, So like, look, it could it
- 8:23Speaker 6: could be a plan. It could be out there being
- 8:25Speaker 6: extremely cautious with everything. But it just struck me as different, like,
- 8:29Speaker 6: and that might just be the way Colin does things too.
- 8:31Speaker 8: It might. Well, you just said somebody else different.
- 8:33Speaker 2: What I've seen him fifteen years of being around the league,
- 8:35Speaker 2: that's all.
- 8:35Speaker 8: But somebody else that was injured was out there. You
- 8:37Speaker 8: just you mentioned that, right, Yeah, the Renzo Styles.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Yeah, Christian Miller was injured too, and he wasn't out
- 8:43Speaker 6: there either though, So I don't know, maybe that's just
- 8:46Speaker 6: start there, all right.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Weird, all right, Okay, first three rounds, you don't have
- 8:49Speaker 4: to come out here get weird. Since four through seven
- 8:51Speaker 4: you gotta come watch, all right. You mentioned Oscar delt there,
- 8:56Speaker 4: and we were talking about this yesterday.
- 8:58Speaker 5: So Juwan Johnson no a fan.
- 9:00Speaker 4: You sign him in the offseason, so that's two veteran
- 9:03Speaker 4: tight ends, and you draft Oscar Delp early in the
- 9:06Speaker 4: third round. The Saints last year were an eleven personnel team,
- 9:11Speaker 4: sixty seven percent of the time. That's one of the
- 9:13Speaker 4: top in the NFL. They did not run a ton
- 9:16Speaker 4: of twelve personnel. They ran as much thirteen actually as
- 9:20Speaker 4: they did twelve personnel almost, I mean, not one for one,
- 9:24Speaker 4: but I think it was like sixteen percent twelve and
- 9:26Speaker 4: like nine percent thirteen personnel. So you can kind of
- 9:30Speaker 4: combine those if you want to. But I ask, or
- 9:34Speaker 4: bring it up to ask is that going to go
- 9:37Speaker 4: way up? Like is that twelve personnel number going to
- 9:39Speaker 4: go from sixteen point eight percent? Because again, like you
- 9:43Speaker 4: sign a tight end you have one Juwan Johnson that
- 9:45Speaker 4: you re signed to a bigger contract, you draft one
- 9:48Speaker 4: in the third round, do you think that they are
- 9:50Speaker 4: telling you they're going to make a shift to more
- 9:52Speaker 4: tight end personnels?
- 9:55Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I mean, and within that twelve you're getting
- 9:57Speaker 6: tight end credit for taste from two and he wasn't
- 9:59Speaker 6: always n They're really like doing like real tight end stuff,
- 10:01Speaker 6: so that that numbers even inflated a little bit. I
- 10:04Speaker 6: think in Philly, I want to say, Colum was around
- 10:08Speaker 6: thirty two percent twelve personnel in Philly and then like
- 10:11Speaker 6: historically throughout his career he's been like twenty six, twenty
- 10:14Speaker 6: seven percent overall in that usage, so last year was
- 10:17Speaker 6: way way down on the twelve. Yeah, I think it's
- 10:20Speaker 6: I think it's an obvious tell that they.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Weren't to go there and be able to get to
- 10:23Speaker 4: it in Philly his last year, what was it, thirty
- 10:26Speaker 4: three percent in Philly is last year.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Yeah, So I mean, and he had two good tight ends.
- 10:30Speaker 6: So like he's playing to his personnel, but I think
- 10:32Speaker 6: very obviously he he wants to get to that and
- 10:35Speaker 6: it wants to be a thing that they want to do.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And you know, this is a young staff.
- 10:39Speaker 6: They study league trends, league trends last year where we're
- 10:41Speaker 6: going to twelve and thirteen on all those looks. McVeigh
- 10:44Speaker 6: kind of brought in a ton of thirteen and then
- 10:46Speaker 6: Clint obviously won the Super Bowl running it the whole
- 10:49Speaker 6: way through.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So yeah, I think they want to get to it.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I think last year a lot of stuff we saw,
- 10:53Speaker 6: probably on both sides of the balls, kind of by necessity,
- 10:56Speaker 6: like you're building the team and you have the players
- 10:58Speaker 6: you have and you can't get all your guys in there.
- 11:00Speaker 6: I think as we get more and more into it,
- 11:02Speaker 6: we're gonna see more of what they want to do,
- 11:04Speaker 6: but definitely, I think that's a direction they want to
- 11:07Speaker 6: go with it. And you know, you got you got
- 11:09Speaker 6: some real speed there a tight end too, like you
- 11:11Speaker 6: can get some really really good mismatches going on. Fans
- 11:14Speaker 6: got good speed, Delpscott good speed. Chawant's obviously, you know,
- 11:17Speaker 6: a big receiver, you know, And I think Delp being
- 11:20Speaker 6: able to do everything on locks it a little bit
- 11:22Speaker 6: and allows you to line up kind of everywhere and
- 11:25Speaker 6: get people into different positions. So yeah, I think I
- 11:27Speaker 6: think we're gonna see a much different offense next year.
- 11:29Speaker 6: I don't think it's gonna be like all eleven personnel,
- 11:32Speaker 6: which is interesting too because like they got ninety five
- 11:34Speaker 6: wide receivers right now, extremely deep at that position.
- 11:39Speaker 2: It's gonna be. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting.
- 11:41Speaker 8: Man.
- 11:41Speaker 6: There's a lot of speed out there, and they were
- 11:43Speaker 6: a very slow team last year. So I'm interested to
- 11:47Speaker 6: see what direction this goes.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Nick I was we were talking yesterday about the draft class.
- 11:51Speaker 3: We're talking you know, obviously a lot of Jordan Tyson,
- 11:54Speaker 3: but I think the guy that can make the biggest
- 11:57Speaker 3: immediate impact from this draft last could be Barri and Brown.
- 12:02Speaker 3: And I know LSU fans are fired up to finally
- 12:03Speaker 3: have an LSU guy with the Saints and get drafted.
- 12:06Speaker 3: But talk about of course from a return standpoint, But
- 12:09Speaker 3: you just talked about being slow last year.
- 12:11Speaker 8: He's the opposite of slow. He's a speedster.
- 12:15Speaker 3: And but I kind of gave him the comp especially
- 12:17Speaker 3: early in the season when people aren't going to be
- 12:19Speaker 3: really expecting. You're gonna have a lobby, You're gonna Jordan Tyson,
- 12:21Speaker 3: people are gonna be eyeballing, you got all these new
- 12:23Speaker 3: tied end I kind of gave him the comp. Yet
- 12:26Speaker 3: yesterday of last year, Tess Johnson with the Bucks like
- 12:29Speaker 3: a guy that could take the top off and can.
- 12:31Speaker 3: I think he has the opportunity to make some plays
- 12:34Speaker 3: early in the season because people won't really be expected,
- 12:37Speaker 3: and I think he can make one of these fast
- 12:39Speaker 3: impacts as a rookie.
- 12:41Speaker 6: Yeah, him and Bryce Lance, I think are both gonna
- 12:44Speaker 6: be able to do that. But special teams before we
- 12:47Speaker 6: even get to the receiver. Special teams was terrible last year,
- 12:50Speaker 6: like after they got rid of Shihed, like there was
- 12:52Speaker 6: nobody like the return game was was awful. So obviously
- 12:55Speaker 6: a very very quick place for him to make an
- 12:57Speaker 6: impact there.
- 12:58Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean, look, I think I think he
- 13:00Speaker 2: can get down the field and take the top off.
- 13:01Speaker 2: We saw it already, Like one play, I think he
- 13:04Speaker 2: got open twice down the field.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Once it was it was thrown behind him, and then
- 13:07Speaker 6: the other one like the it was an on point throw.
- 13:09Speaker 6: But I mean, very clearly an area where where I
- 13:12Speaker 6: think he can have an impact.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I mean, you talk about thirteen like it might be
- 13:15Speaker 2: a little bit of a tell.
- 13:16Speaker 6: But if you have a package with him out there,
- 13:18Speaker 6: and he's the long guy, and you know, you get
- 13:20Speaker 6: into thirteen, you're gonna get a lot of single high
- 13:21Speaker 6: looks and he can just run by everybody down the
- 13:23Speaker 6: field and there's a play that can be made. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 6: I think there's a lot of creative stuff they can
- 13:27Speaker 6: do with him just to get the ball in his hands.
- 13:30Speaker 6: He's a little bit bigger than I thought he would
- 13:31Speaker 6: be too, Like just seeing him, you know, in person,
- 13:34Speaker 6: like he's he's not like a little I don't know,
- 13:37Speaker 6: like you see like these speed guys or returners are
- 13:39Speaker 6: usually a little under like he's not like. So I
- 13:41Speaker 6: don't even think you're giving up a lot there putting
- 13:43Speaker 6: him out.
- 13:44Speaker 2: On the field.
- 13:44Speaker 6: So yeah, I think he's an interesting guy man, Like
- 13:47Speaker 6: he's elite at returning, he can probably be elite at going.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Down the field.
- 13:51Speaker 6: And you know that's that's sheheed Like, that's that's basically him.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Like he's corner post go.
- 13:56Speaker 6: I think I think he can do some of that
- 13:58Speaker 6: stuff too.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Nick.
- 14:01Speaker 4: One of the things that we always, you know, talk
- 14:03Speaker 4: about is the Saints are gonna keys an undrafted free agents.
- 14:06Speaker 5: They just they always do. And there's always multiple guys.
- 14:09Speaker 4: And I know you've already mentioned a receiver there, but
- 14:12Speaker 4: like being out at mini camp, was there anybody that
- 14:15Speaker 4: kind of flashed to you that maybe you didn't have
- 14:17Speaker 4: on your radar. Maybe hell, maybe you didn't even know
- 14:20Speaker 4: who they were, and you're like, all of a sudden,
- 14:21Speaker 4: you're writing down a name, like, Okay, this guy's got
- 14:24Speaker 4: something that I didn't know about.
- 14:26Speaker 6: Yeah, just rookies so far that we've seen, right, Well,
- 14:29Speaker 6: we'll see that, we'll see the rest of them. It's
- 14:31Speaker 6: a week later this year, so normally this would I
- 14:33Speaker 6: think this would be the week that there's ota is
- 14:35Speaker 6: not like the whole league's a week later, So like
- 14:37Speaker 6: there's this long layoff now, which is which is weird.
- 14:39Speaker 2: It's different than usual.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Schedule this week, and then I guess that's how they're
- 14:44Speaker 6: felling it in.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Because the league can't have a dead week anywhere.
- 14:47Speaker 6: But yeah, I mean, rex Steiner was definitely someone that
- 14:49Speaker 6: I think has a you know, it's so it's so early,
- 14:53Speaker 6: but I think he has the skill to make it
- 14:55Speaker 6: interesting at least going out there and you know, just
- 14:57Speaker 6: going off the heightweight, speed thing like Xavier.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Harris Man like he is.
- 15:02Speaker 8: He is a.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Guy that like I'm absolutely having circled, you know, it's
- 15:10Speaker 6: kind of just passing out there. Like some of the
- 15:11Speaker 6: other udfas that they signed, Herron is one. He's a
- 15:17Speaker 6: guy that that's kind of interesting, but you don't really
- 15:18Speaker 6: get to see anything from him. They got the pass
- 15:20Speaker 6: rusher from Central Michigan, Harris I think is his name.
- 15:24Speaker 6: He's another one that was like pretty good pedigree like that.
- 15:26Speaker 6: There's some guys out there that I think might have
- 15:28Speaker 6: a chance, but I didn't. I didn't really see anyone
- 15:31Speaker 6: else pop like that at wide receiver or cornerback or
- 15:34Speaker 6: safety yet.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And that's kind of really all you're seeing, Like.
- 15:37Speaker 6: None of the receive or none of the quarterbacks that
- 15:39Speaker 6: were out there, and you know, there was a one rookie,
- 15:42Speaker 6: and then it was Stick and the other guy that
- 15:46Speaker 6: was in Atlanta name is a brain fart. Kyle Trask
- 15:51Speaker 6: was the other one. But yeah, I don't think either
- 15:52Speaker 6: one of those guys are going to make a run
- 15:54Speaker 6: at it. I mean, I was kind of surprised how
- 15:55Speaker 6: how spotty it looked with them actually, But yeah, nobody,
- 15:58Speaker 6: nobody yet that I would circle, except for for re
- 16:01Speaker 6: Steinner Like he's I'm telling you man, like he looks
- 16:04Speaker 6: like a real football player, and it's it's just easy
- 16:08Speaker 6: to see, like very quickly it's out there. Could just
- 16:10Speaker 6: end up being a camp beast, but I think he
- 16:12Speaker 6: has a chance to make it interesting.
- 16:14Speaker 4: T Bob used to call it Eastern Stick Western Branch
- 16:18Speaker 4: on this show.
- 16:20Speaker 8: That's it.
- 16:20Speaker 5: That's what I know about him. That's right, that's where
- 16:23Speaker 5: it is. He was a Chargers back up and he
- 16:24Speaker 5: was Western Branch on the show.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah you wrestling you like Big Papa Pump you No,
- 16:31Speaker 3: I mean no.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Not really, Like I kind of watched it back when
- 16:34Speaker 6: I was in like eighth grade, and that was like
- 16:36Speaker 6: the like the Owen Heart Stone Cold era a little
- 16:39Speaker 6: bit all that.
- 16:42Speaker 3: When there was to wrestle. There's two professionals. One came
- 16:45Speaker 3: on US a w c W and w W S.
- 16:47Speaker 3: One came on TBS. One came on US A w
- 16:49Speaker 3: c W was Turner owned. Yeah, that was the That
- 16:52Speaker 3: was like the Wolf and wo time at the same time.
- 16:55Speaker 3: It's stone cold, it's right, hey, nick, I thought it
- 16:58Speaker 3: was like a Sean Payton thing.
- 17:00Speaker 8: Yes, it's just stuck around. Maybe it's before Shan Paygton.
- 17:02Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 17:03Speaker 3: One of the Saints going to stop putting those goofyest
- 17:06Speaker 3: name tags on their helmet.
- 17:10Speaker 8: Look so dumb.
- 17:12Speaker 6: They put names on the on the back of the
- 17:14Speaker 6: jerseys now though, so that that's a good thing like that,
- 17:17Speaker 6: there's one like the practice jerseys having name on the back.
- 17:20Speaker 6: I think they're doing logos on the helmets now too.
- 17:22Speaker 6: That was always a dumb thing to me too, like you.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Got to earn the logo, like all right, yeah, who cares?
- 17:30Speaker 6: I love the names on the front of the helmet though.
- 17:33Speaker 6: It was so funny, like shaum Will get so pissed
- 17:35Speaker 6: about like things coming out before he wanted them to,
- 17:37Speaker 6: and it's like, okay, well, I'm just gonna take a
- 17:39Speaker 6: pair of binoculars and I'm going to read the name
- 17:40Speaker 6: on the helmet and I'm going to fire off a
- 17:42Speaker 6: tweet and I'm going to know who's out here trying out,
- 17:44Speaker 6: Like they get pissed about it. It's like we don't
- 17:45Speaker 6: put the name on the helmet then, like that's the very.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Only one who does it outside the local middle school
- 17:52Speaker 3: but athletic type.
- 17:56Speaker 4: I think when I was my brief time in the
- 17:58Speaker 4: in camp mini camp, would the Saints, I had had like.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Like, I get it, okay, So for rookie mini camp,
- 18:04Speaker 3: I get it. You're not gonna know anybody's name. There's
- 18:06Speaker 3: a bunch of no names. Most of them aren't going
- 18:07Speaker 3: to make the team. Like that's fine for the coaching,
- 18:10Speaker 3: but like it was just goofy. When you saw like
- 18:12Speaker 3: breeze across his forehead.
- 18:14Speaker 6: I was like, well, especially when you get like a
- 18:16Speaker 6: long name and it's like it doesn't say it and.
- 18:19Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, you know.
- 18:20Speaker 3: I thought, I'm assuming that was a Sean Peyton thing
- 18:23Speaker 3: back to like the old school, let's get gritty with
- 18:25Speaker 3: it and put a tape on our helmet.
- 18:27Speaker 8: But I thought it would have gone done away by now.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Still there, man, all all.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Right, there he is.
- 18:33Speaker 4: I got Nick Underhill, New Orleans, stuff football good enough
- 18:35Speaker 4: to join us every single Tuesday here on O TV.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Nicholas, We appreciate the time, sir, though, let's take it easy.
- 18:43Speaker 8: Kind of forgot about that they did? You know it
- 18:45Speaker 8: all the time? I couldn't.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I just because Taylor kept putting up the pictures of players.
- 18:49Speaker 3: I was like, well that looks just goofy. Yeah, that
- 18:54Speaker 3: that is kind of dumb. Like what we talked about.
- 18:55Speaker 3: You got to earn the logo.
- 18:56Speaker 4: They get the label maker and they put Flynn and
- 18:59Speaker 4: put it on your Did you ever think you didn't
- 19:01Speaker 4: go to s camp with them?
- 19:03Speaker 5: Did you you sound like in the season, Yeah.
- 19:08Speaker 8: I heard the Saints camps were not much fun.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I only went to like mini camp out a situation. Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 4: it went too bad. I knew two full backs.
- 19:18Speaker 8: I went. It was hot.
- 19:22Speaker 4: It was hot, but I definitely had my name with
- 19:26Speaker 4: the label maker on the front. All right, we'll take
- 19:29Speaker 4: a right more ot B when we come back your

- 19:41Speaker 4: it for a long time. They've been doing it the
- 19:43Speaker 4: right way for a long time. They've been doing it
- 19:45Speaker 4: with a local flair for a long time, but they
- 19:48Speaker 4: do it with all the bells and whistles of any
- 19:50Speaker 4: national bank right because they've got all the online banking.
- 19:53Speaker 4: I mean, you see it right there if you're watching
- 19:54Speaker 4: this on YouTube. They've got everything that the national bank
- 19:57Speaker 4: has to offer. But the thing that the national bank
- 19:59Speaker 4: can offer is the local service you get at FABT
- 20:03Speaker 4: First American Bank and Trust. They make decisions right here
- 20:06Speaker 4: in Louisiana. They don't have to call and ask for permission.
- 20:08Speaker 4: They are local. You're not an account number. You are

- 20:25Speaker 3: that are holding your hard earned money of dollars and
- 20:28Speaker 3: making decisions about your financial future, being able to look
- 20:30Speaker 3: them in the eye and shake their hand, and there's

- 22:27Speaker 5: We were talking about this a little bit earlier.
- 22:29Speaker 4: We were talking about the Lane Kiffin and the Vanity
- 22:31Speaker 4: Fair article and what the internet did with it yesterday,
- 22:35Speaker 4: and Old Miss fans certainly had a lot to say
- 22:38Speaker 4: about it and that game in September. I don't think
- 22:44Speaker 4: that we're over selling what that is going to be.
- 22:50Speaker 8: Now.
- 22:50Speaker 4: You know, if it was in Baton Rouge, it would
- 22:52Speaker 4: be incredible and it'd be a sold out crowd. Obviously,
- 22:56Speaker 4: tailgating would be incredible that day. So, like the number
- 23:00Speaker 4: is just because the stadium difference isn't gonna be you know,
- 23:02Speaker 4: one hundred and whatever a thousand people, but whatever the
- 23:08Speaker 4: max attendance is involved him anyway, it's gonna be at
- 23:11Speaker 4: that and then probably then some probably gonna sell more
- 23:13Speaker 4: tickets and a half seats. There's gonna be people everywhere.
- 23:18Speaker 4: There's gonna be a ton of bel Shoe fans there.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Obviously it's probably gonna be a day that has.
- 23:26Speaker 5: A confrontation or two.
- 23:28Speaker 8: Do you think so?
- 23:28Speaker 5: Probably out there in the growth the grove probably.
- 23:31Speaker 8: So well, we talked about it.
- 23:34Speaker 3: LSU should have the advantage on any confrontation like that
- 23:37Speaker 3: because we'll have socks on better grow.
- 23:40Speaker 8: No loafers a lover your foot won't there there.
- 23:43Speaker 3: There's gonna especially if it's sweaty, there will be sweaty
- 23:46Speaker 3: in the loafers. Their their feet are gonna slip out
- 23:48Speaker 3: of those things. Yeah, they try to plant.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I can't, Like, I can't wait now.
- 23:55Speaker 4: And I've told you, I like to get to the
- 23:56Speaker 4: press box like you kind of got to go through
- 23:58Speaker 4: the crowd there, and so I'm going to enjoy the
- 24:02Speaker 4: process of the atmosphere there, and I would I would expect.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Now Elsh's got obviously a game with Clemson, and like,
- 24:13Speaker 4: I don't know what Clemson's going to be this year.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I know they lose a lot, but I'm just not
- 24:17Speaker 4: going to assume I guess that that's going to be.
- 24:19Speaker 5: That's not a rental win.
- 24:20Speaker 4: But I think the expectation is certainly for both teams
- 24:24Speaker 4: to come into that game undefeated. Now ole Miss has
- 24:27Speaker 4: an opener that's not going to be ruled the Helmets
- 24:29Speaker 4: out there either. They play against Louisville in Nashville on
- 24:33Speaker 4: that Sunday game. Right, we always get one of those
- 24:36Speaker 4: Sunday games else She's played it in a couple of times.
- 24:38Speaker 4: So that game is going to be in Nashville, so
- 24:41Speaker 4: that's not going to be, you know, a game where
- 24:42Speaker 4: you can just show up and win either.
- 24:44Speaker 5: I think Louisville does a really good job. I think
- 24:45Speaker 5: Jeff Brom does a great job.
- 24:47Speaker 4: One of your former teammates, Brian Brohm, is the office
- 24:49Speaker 4: coordinator there at Louisville. So they're a good team and
- 24:53Speaker 4: it's not going to be like just something where you
- 24:55Speaker 4: show up and they give you a victory. But I
- 24:57Speaker 4: do think we expect both teams to be undefre But
- 25:00Speaker 4: even if they're not.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Even if they're not, it's not going to change with
- 25:07Speaker 5: that game day atmosphere.
- 25:08Speaker 4: It might change maybe some viewership on TV, but it's
- 25:12Speaker 4: not going to change what the scene is going to
- 25:14Speaker 4: be like in Auction, Mississippi that day.
- 25:16Speaker 3: They're gonna have They have a lot of hate in
- 25:17Speaker 3: their heart right now, and they have a lot of
- 25:20Speaker 3: passionate anger. And I got a strong feeling that LSU
- 25:27Speaker 3: fans are going to travel well, and the ones that
- 25:30Speaker 3: do travel are going to be the ultimate pot stars.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I got a feeling that they are going to troll
- 25:34Speaker 3: all miss fans the entire time, and that it's going
- 25:37Speaker 3: to lead to a lot more anger than their hearts,
- 25:39Speaker 3: and then it's gonna lead to a lot of passion
- 25:41Speaker 3: on the field.
- 25:42Speaker 8: My god, it's going to be absolutely electric.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I don't know if this is definitely gonna be one
- 25:48Speaker 3: of those games where TV copy is not going to
- 25:51Speaker 3: do it justice. It won't be able to feel attention
- 25:55Speaker 3: and the air and the tension, specifically in the pregame
- 25:59Speaker 3: before or plane walking out, pregame warm ups, on the field,
- 26:03Speaker 3: like all of that stuff is going to be awesome,
- 26:06Speaker 3: and it's not gonna be shown. Yeah, there'll be people
- 26:09Speaker 3: tweeting about it and post some videos about it, but
- 26:11Speaker 3: unless you're in that building, you're not gonna be able
- 26:13Speaker 3: to feel it. Yeah, and you don't know you and
- 26:15Speaker 3: you don't know like in the gameplay if it'll ever
- 26:17Speaker 3: get to that level of intensity. Of course a close
- 26:20Speaker 3: game will, but the intensity of right before the game.
- 26:23Speaker 8: In the build up, yeah, it's gonna be unmatched.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Oh, I mean, think about how many people that are
- 26:28Speaker 4: gonna be between the white lines that played for the
- 26:30Speaker 4: other school in that game, right on both sides. They're
- 26:33Speaker 4: gonna be coaches on both sidelines have coached at the
- 26:36Speaker 4: other school of the year before, so like, that's what
- 26:39Speaker 4: makes this one a little bit different is the fact
- 26:41Speaker 4: that LSU is gonna have a ton of former Old
- 26:44Speaker 4: Miss coaches.
- 26:44Speaker 5: Oh Miss gonna have a ton of former l Shue coaches.
- 26:47Speaker 4: There's going to be you know, personnel staff that there's
- 26:49Speaker 4: a ton flip flopping from each school. There's gonna be
- 26:53Speaker 4: former Old Miss players on Lshoe's roster, There's former Lshue
- 26:56Speaker 4: players on Old missus roster. Like, that's what adds to
- 26:59Speaker 4: the end intrigue, not just the good old fashioned hate
- 27:02Speaker 4: that's going to be in the stands either.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean, you know as well as I do,
- 27:07Speaker 3: Like there's not a lot of hate between players and coaches.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Maybe there's some, Maybe there's some people that felt wronged.
- 27:15Speaker 5: I hate it, but I know what you're saying, Like
- 27:16Speaker 5: in general, players about it.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Once the balls kicked, for sure, the players and coaches
- 27:21Speaker 3: don't dislike each other as much as fans dislike each other.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Now in college it's a little bit different, or I
- 27:28Speaker 3: guess we can only say it used to be a
- 27:30Speaker 3: little bit different now in the transfer world, Like when
- 27:33Speaker 3: we when we got to the NFL, I got Dragon
- 27:37Speaker 3: crug Steltz was with the Bears, and I remember getting
- 27:39Speaker 3: interviewed or like seeing people out They're like, oh, man,
- 27:42Speaker 3: I guess you. I guess you. You hate the Bears. Huh,
- 27:45Speaker 3: I can't you? Your friend just with playing with the Bears,
- 27:47Speaker 3: And I was like, I don't really care about Like
- 27:50Speaker 3: are they their rival? Like I don't care. I didn't
- 27:54Speaker 3: choose here, they chose they chose me, right, like those rivals, remember, yeah,
- 28:00Speaker 3: I have to grow.
- 28:01Speaker 4: I remember playing against like my former LSU teammates, like
- 28:04Speaker 4: we'd have some fun with it.
- 28:05Speaker 8: Yeah, on the field, there.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Was never I mean, my my feelings are there are
- 28:10Speaker 3: probably some staff members on each side that felt wronged
- 28:14Speaker 3: in some form or fashion. Not all of them, I
- 28:17Speaker 3: would say a small percentage of the people that have
- 28:21Speaker 3: switched jobs or switched universities. Every old miss fan feels wrong,
- 28:26Speaker 3: every single one, and every single administrator feels wrong.
- 28:30Speaker 8: But from a coaching standpoint.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I don't like, it's a job, right, Like some of
- 28:35Speaker 3: them might have felt, well, he didn't want me here,
- 28:37Speaker 3: so I had to go there, or vice versa. Yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 3: so maybe some of them do have a little bit
- 28:42Speaker 3: extra oomp from passion to that game and they but
- 28:46Speaker 3: both coaches staffs want to win the game right now.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Maybe there's some players that feel wronged and feel like
- 28:51Speaker 3: it's personal.
- 28:53Speaker 8: I doubt it.
- 28:54Speaker 3: They're getting they're all getting paid to everybody's an employee,
- 28:57Speaker 3: so you know, I don't know. I think the intensity
- 29:00Speaker 3: is going to be there way more for the fans
- 29:04Speaker 3: and the people on the field. Just it adds a
- 29:06Speaker 3: different dynamic, though.
- 29:07Speaker 4: I'm saying, in the fact that so many people have
- 29:10Speaker 4: so many relationships at both.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Schools, it's going to be as intense as a college
- 29:15Speaker 3: football game can get.
- 29:17Speaker 8: From an intensity like a pure hatred standpoint.
- 29:22Speaker 5: You're going to join me there? Y'all going where to
- 29:24Speaker 5: Oxford in September?
- 29:26Speaker 9: I want to plan a trip over there? Yeah, for sure.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Why would we go to feel what you're talking about?
- 29:32Speaker 8: The intensity? You mean? I thought you were like asking
- 29:36Speaker 8: us to like go do something cool.
- 29:38Speaker 7: I mean, the wolf Pack has separately been places, but
- 29:41Speaker 7: the wolf Pack has never been somewhere all together.
- 29:44Speaker 8: No, not at a game.
- 29:46Speaker 9: We need to do it.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I mean, I'll be there. I'll be up in the booth.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I've never been doing a Wigham as a not.
- 29:52Speaker 10: A player, not not not for l issue.
- 29:56Speaker 8: I haven't. I went to the Texas ball. I took
- 29:58Speaker 8: her to the text. But that that's that's a bold game.
- 30:02Speaker 5: You've never been to away game. I went to away game.
- 30:05Speaker 8: I would love to. I just.
- 30:08Speaker 4: I remember when LSU played at Auburn, maybe twenty fourteen,
- 30:15Speaker 4: Brandon Harris was the starting quarterback Fellowshoe at twenty fourteen.
- 30:17Speaker 8: Yeah, I left it halftime. I drove back to Montgomery
- 30:20Speaker 8: and when my hotel room, I said, I'm not watching this.
- 30:22Speaker 5: I think the last the only time I've ever left
- 30:24Speaker 5: an LSUE game early.
- 30:25Speaker 7: Away game I went to was USC in Vegas. I
- 30:28Speaker 7: think that's the last away.
- 30:30Speaker 5: That you didn't need that way, So you just haven't
- 30:33Speaker 5: been to like any.
- 30:34Speaker 9: Way, Like, oh wait, no, I went to Vandy this
- 30:38Speaker 9: past season. Oh yeah, yeah, I forgot about that.
- 30:41Speaker 4: We can get you in the booth. You can be
- 30:42Speaker 4: my spotter, yes, yeah, I don't think you want that.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I don't know anyone's name. Oh I don't need names. No,
- 30:49Speaker 4: you just just give me, like number eighty eight, the
- 30:52Speaker 4: playing hated playing cover three taking credit for these.
- 30:54Speaker 10: And that's like God with the purple arm sleeve just
- 30:56Speaker 10: had a twelve yard dig.
- 30:58Speaker 8: You ain't getting credit for my knowledge.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 31:01Speaker 5: I mean we give you a thank you at the
- 31:03Speaker 5: end of the broadcast.
- 31:03Speaker 9: Yeah, shout out Matt Flynn our response or a spot.
- 31:05Speaker 8: Or me Flynn. No one's listening at that point. What
- 31:08Speaker 8: if we win?
- 31:08Speaker 3: They are if you say every time Matt Flinn's are
- 31:11Speaker 3: those quarters?
- 31:17Speaker 8: Dude?
- 31:17Speaker 4: If I had time to even call out coverages with
- 31:19Speaker 4: the way these offenses go now, it's like there's sometimes
- 31:23Speaker 4: like between plays, I don't even have a chance to
- 31:25Speaker 4: like because it's radio, it's not TV. So Chris is
- 31:28Speaker 4: having to set like what the play is, trips, twins,
- 31:32Speaker 4: you know whatever, and so you don't even.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Have time to you know, yeah, time to do anything. Yeah,
- 31:39Speaker 3: then you gotta time it out with yeah, with Chris
- 31:41Speaker 3: what he's saying. And have you ever gone like a
- 31:44Speaker 3: handful of place without saying anything?
- 31:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah, two, not three, but two plays for sure,
- 31:50Speaker 4: because you just don't have time right to be able
- 31:52Speaker 4: to react. Then you'll try to go back on the
- 31:53Speaker 4: back end and be like, you know, a couple plays ago,
- 31:55Speaker 4: they ran the blah blah blah whatever. And I always
- 31:57Speaker 4: give my guy Jim Nickel a hard time because like
- 31:59Speaker 4: the first year I was doing it, I was talking
- 32:02Speaker 4: about the A gap, B gap, power counter landing spots whatever.
- 32:05Speaker 4: He's like, yeah, you know, probably like not all of
- 32:07Speaker 4: people know who the A like, what the A gap
- 32:09Speaker 4: is and the B gap. I was like, Jim, if
- 32:10Speaker 4: they don't know what the A and B gap, if
- 32:12Speaker 4: they don't know what that is, sorry, they're probably like
- 32:15Speaker 4: listening to the wrong thing.
- 32:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, he always gives me a hard time. Now when
- 32:22Speaker 4: I see Jim, he's like A gap.
- 32:23Speaker 9: Right, personnel groups. I'm like, yeah, that twenty.
- 32:28Speaker 3: One, that's right, that's right, Daniel And the chat said,
- 32:34Speaker 3: did Ole Miss just become our new Florida?
- 32:36Speaker 8: No, this is our Canada.
- 32:39Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, they hate us that everything.
- 32:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Sorry, I'm kind of pissed that Old Miss gets to
- 32:47Speaker 4: play Florida and we don't one of their I know
- 32:51Speaker 4: they're at Florida this year.
- 32:52Speaker 8: I don't that's one of their three thinks. So no,
- 32:55Speaker 8: it's not one of the three.
- 32:56Speaker 10: That's one of the ones that rules off.
- 32:58Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Uh, And look, you gotta be in order for us
- 33:04Speaker 3: to like hate you and be like a rival rival.
- 33:07Speaker 7: You know, OTV should go to Oxford, we should vlog
- 33:12Speaker 7: it and get him fights so that we can like.
- 33:16Speaker 5: Vlog us fighting and get arrested.
- 33:19Speaker 9: Sure, I mean, I'm sure we can put our monies.
- 33:22Speaker 8: Together, probably real well in Oxford.
- 33:27Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like we gotta get in fights.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Gollie, you have to put up with Menci that weekend.
- 33:34Speaker 9: I don't have to put up with him.
- 33:35Speaker 8: I'm not a fighter. Well lover.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Guys from Louisiana and talks about Louisiana all the time,
- 33:43Speaker 4: went to old myths.
- 33:45Speaker 9: See that's when you just don't pay attention to somebody,
- 33:48Speaker 9: which is what I do.
- 33:51Speaker 4: The only old miss fan that I got loved for
- 33:52Speaker 4: is Bunkie Perkins. Anyway, shout out the bunk all.
- 33:56Speaker 8: Right, will who he Willie? Yeah, at the end of
- 34:01Speaker 8: the show.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Well that's just yeah, that's that's known because like I
- 34:05Speaker 4: don't want to say anything bad about that man.
- 34:06Speaker 8: Yeah, you're scared of it, right good? Oh yeah, home,
- 34:09Speaker 8: this is great, good good man.
- 34:13Speaker 9: Club hands.
- 34:13Speaker 8: It's good, dude. I always had a club always what
- 34:16Speaker 8: to have him on, what to have him on? Dropping
- 34:19Speaker 8: s bombs on our show, dematic what he wants?

- 35:39Speaker 1: presented by Community Steel.
- 36:22Speaker 5: All right, welcome back in OTB.
- 36:27Speaker 4: I'm very excited to be working with Jen Gators, the
- 36:30Speaker 4: only Gators that will ever ever ever support here on
- 36:33Speaker 4: this show, because you'll want to be with them too.
- 36:38Speaker 4: For most backup generators, the engines made by one company,
- 36:41Speaker 4: the alternator by another, the controls by somebody else, So
- 36:44Speaker 4: when something fails, good luck figuring out who to call.
- 36:47Speaker 4: A color generator installed by gen Gators is built different.
- 36:50Speaker 4: One name on the engine, the alternator, and the controls,
- 36:53Speaker 4: one warranty that covers all of it. You're getting commercial
- 36:57Speaker 4: grade equipment right in your backyard, installed by the pro
- 37:00Speaker 4: at Jing Gators, backed by a ten year warranty.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Visit jing gators dot com.
- 37:05Speaker 4: That's Jen Gators with a Z Jing Gators power systems
- 37:08Speaker 4: built different again Jen gators dot Com.
- 37:16Speaker 5: Probably a lot of people in Beton Ruge.
- 37:18Speaker 4: That lost some power this weekend with the the arc
- 37:21Speaker 4: you we're about to have to have to get anywhere.
- 37:23Speaker 3: So our generator clicked on a couple of times, and
- 37:26Speaker 3: it was very nice to have.
- 37:29Speaker 4: It is the ultimate peace of mind. And you get
- 37:30Speaker 4: that with jing Gators, jing Gators dot com. The hero
- 37:33Speaker 4: of the house too, m you are why falls in
- 37:38Speaker 4: love with the Oliver again?
- 37:39Speaker 8: You got that?
- 37:40Speaker 5: Was it there when you built the house or both
- 37:42Speaker 5: the houses you put it in?
- 37:44Speaker 8: Yeah? Absolutely too, that big deal deal winning. Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 3: You know they say for a good, long lasting, healthy marriage,
- 37:53Speaker 3: you gotta you gotta, you gotta fall in love with
- 37:55Speaker 3: each other again ever, you know, yeah, every seven eight
- 37:58Speaker 3: years something like that, fall love again.
- 38:01Speaker 8: The generator helped.
- 38:05Speaker 4: He's not wrong. A lot of times he is, but
- 38:07Speaker 4: not in this case. Hopefully that was Jordan shooting that
- 38:10Speaker 4: shot because we want to make it.
- 38:13Speaker 8: I can't believe. I still can't believe Jordan only hit.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I mean, I know buzzer beater is rare, but nine
- 38:20Speaker 3: buzzer beater winning shots for Michael Jordan in his career,
- 38:23Speaker 3: which is an all time leader. That still seems low
- 38:30Speaker 3: for the amount of games that he won and as
- 38:33Speaker 3: long as he played. Now, I guess if you shoot
- 38:37Speaker 3: and score with the second left, that's not a buzzer beater.
- 38:39Speaker 10: I get it that and they were dominating people a
- 38:42Speaker 10: lot of the time. So I mean, how many buzzer
- 38:44Speaker 10: beaters did Jordan have to hit?
- 38:46Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 38:47Speaker 7: Uh.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Speaking of the NBA, Lebron James and the Lakers got
- 38:50Speaker 4: swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round
- 38:54Speaker 4: of the NBA Playoffs and Lebron was nine committal after
- 38:58Speaker 4: the game and his quote was, I think you guys
- 39:02Speaker 4: asked me about retirement, and I've answered those questions. I
- 39:05Speaker 4: don't think I've come out and been like, oh, retirement
- 39:08Speaker 4: is coming with my future, I don't know. Honestly, it's
- 39:12Speaker 4: obvious it's still fresh from obviously losing the series, and
- 39:16Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what the future holds
- 39:19Speaker 4: for me. I left everything I could on the floor
- 39:23Speaker 4: and the future isn't decided, true tire man. Yeah, this
- 39:28Speaker 4: time twenty three, I know you still got it. Twenty
- 39:34Speaker 4: three seasons. That is impressive. You don't realize he averaged
- 39:37Speaker 4: twenty one points, twenty six best in the NBA this year.
- 39:41Speaker 8: He's forty one.
- 39:43Speaker 10: He's a launder. Aren't even thirty yet. He's basically played
- 39:45Speaker 10: our entire lives. Yeah, but she was five when he
- 39:50Speaker 10: started playing I was six.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm the same age as him, so cool. Yeah
- 39:58Speaker 5: I could do that. But still, that's incredible.
- 40:00Speaker 8: Man.
- 40:02Speaker 4: This year he was twenty six in points per game,
- 40:04Speaker 4: forty seventh and rebound seventh and assists, and then twenty
- 40:08Speaker 4: eighth in field goal percentage. Like, love him or hate him,
- 40:11Speaker 4: however you feel about him, that is incredibly impressible.
- 40:15Speaker 10: He actually had a good playoffs.
- 40:21Speaker 8: Hey, what he actually had a good playoffs. Did y'all
- 40:24Speaker 8: realize that he's played eight seasons for the Lakers, now, I.
- 40:28Speaker 9: Guess I don't. I didn't realize it's been that long. Yeah,
- 40:31Speaker 9: that's crazy.
- 40:34Speaker 7: It It doesn't feel like it was that long ago
- 40:37Speaker 7: that that happened.
- 40:38Speaker 8: But they won the COVID Championship the twenty twenty.
- 40:41Speaker 5: People call that the the Mickey Mouse one.
- 40:44Speaker 8: What they called Mickey Mouse. Here's one in the bubble
- 40:46Speaker 8: in Disney outside COVID. No, it was one in the
- 40:49Speaker 8: bubble in Orlando.
- 40:52Speaker 9: Wimby is not going to be suspended.
- 40:54Speaker 7: That elbow told me everything I needed to know about
- 40:57Speaker 7: him embracing San Antonio culture.
- 41:01Speaker 5: But the throat I hit our got Nasri.
- 41:06Speaker 9: Should have been there.
- 41:07Speaker 8: I kind of respect it, though, Spurs better.
- 41:12Speaker 9: Yeah, they tied. The Timberwolves tied.
- 41:15Speaker 5: The series are salty. They better get it together.
- 41:18Speaker 8: NBA.
- 41:18Speaker 5: They played to nine eighty seven suspended.
- 41:21Speaker 10: NBA did not want women because like, let's be honest,
- 41:25Speaker 10: like y'all two from Texas, she's a fan. You probably
- 41:28Speaker 10: should have gotten suspended. Yeah, should probably should have. Like
- 41:31Speaker 10: the world when you're a superstar.
- 41:34Speaker 7: Would somebody else have gotten suspended if that happened, Yeah.
- 41:37Speaker 6: For sure.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Like if that's which, that's what's that's nas reed on,
- 41:41Speaker 4: Wimby would have been presented, Well here's.
- 41:45Speaker 9: The I mean, I think you can't really prove that,
- 41:47Speaker 9: but the world's.
- 41:50Speaker 7: Yeah, it's like showhy didn't get disciplined at all.
- 41:54Speaker 10: You protect your Every sport protects their stars, which is fun.
- 41:57Speaker 3: When we were in when I was in Green Bay,
- 41:59Speaker 3: there was a there was a rookie dB who got
- 42:02Speaker 3: cut for being late to a meeting and he was
- 42:06Speaker 3: complaining and saying, hey, I just saw Aaron Rodgers late
- 42:08Speaker 3: last week.
- 42:09Speaker 9: I'm like Aaron Rodgers, the.
- 42:11Speaker 8: World's not fair, buddy.
- 42:13Speaker 3: You go and perform, and you become a face of
- 42:16Speaker 3: a franchise or an entire league.
- 42:19Speaker 8: You could get away with.
- 42:19Speaker 5: More than and then.
- 42:23Speaker 8: In the world.
- 42:23Speaker 10: It's like last night wasn't ruey Hachi Murrow for the
- 42:26Speaker 10: Lakers was doing his postgame press conference sitting there. Lebron
- 42:30Speaker 10: walked in the door. He goes, all right, I got some done,
- 42:32Speaker 10: not up and left Lebron side down on chure.
- 42:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 42:34Speaker 10: I mean, like mid mid sentence, he goes, sorry, guys,
- 42:36Speaker 10: I gotta go to Lebronce.
- 42:37Speaker 4: To score like twenty plus least they got not just sports.
- 42:40Speaker 4: We had to take a break. We're gonna wrap it
