- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Mark Simone, he's on seven TENR. Well, hey,
- 0:08Speaker 1: it's our number three. That's right, the third hour. Remember
- 0:11Speaker 1: we start at nine o'clock every day. Now it's nine
- 0:14Speaker 1: to noon every day for this show. If you're a Democrat,
- 0:17Speaker 1: cover your ears for a moment. Stock market way up,
- 0:20Speaker 1: record levels, record levels, Dow s and P record levels.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Oil prices relatively low in the mid seventies, way below
- 0:30Speaker 1: Joe Biden levels. That's for a barrel of oil, way
- 0:34Speaker 1: below Joe Biden levels. Straight of horn Moose, Well, it'll
- 0:40Speaker 1: the President says it's open. It's not really open, but
- 0:45Speaker 1: Ran says they're very very close to a deal to
- 0:48Speaker 1: reopen the Straight of horn Moose. That'll bring oil down
- 0:51Speaker 1: even more. Now, when you go in the drugstore and
- 0:56Speaker 1: everything's locked up, the shampoo is locked up, the aspirin
- 1:01Speaker 1: is locked up, you got to ring the bell for
- 1:02Speaker 1: the manager, wait an hour and a half for him
- 1:05Speaker 1: to show up, and then he's got the wrong key.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Then he's going to come back. That's annoying enough. But
- 1:11Speaker 1: in California, where everything is out of control, shoplifting, crime,
- 1:15Speaker 1: everything California is a mess crime wise. If you go
- 1:19Speaker 1: to the supermarket. They are now locking up things in
- 1:23Speaker 1: the supermarket, for instance, beef. If it's an expensive cut
- 1:27Speaker 1: of beef, it's locked up. They have anti theft measures.
- 1:32Speaker 1: They're taking it to a new level. People are posting
- 1:36Speaker 1: videos on Instagram showing the ribi steak and ground beef
- 1:40Speaker 1: wrapped in special security things. You know, like when you
- 1:44Speaker 1: go to a store and they have like a security
- 1:47Speaker 1: chain on the expensive coat so you can't take it
- 1:49Speaker 1: off the rack. They're doing this now on beef in California.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So crime just going crazy everywhere, getting out of control. Hey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: congratulations to mom Donnie. He's got welfare now at a
- 2:02Speaker 1: thirty year high, the welfare roles at a thirty year high.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I don't know that we can blame him, he's not
- 2:07Speaker 1: been in office that long, but you think he'd want
- 2:11Speaker 1: to get to work on that. Eight hundred and sixty
- 2:16Speaker 1: five thousand people on welfare. That's a thirty year high.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Eight hundred and sixty five thousand. Last time that happened
- 2:24Speaker 1: was under Rudy Giuliani, but then he got the number down.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It's a seventy one percent increase from twenty twenty two,
- 2:35Speaker 1: So you really think he'd focus on that. Forget the buses,
- 2:37Speaker 1: forget your supermarket for a minute. Focus on this. Now.
- 2:41Speaker 1: The New York City government, state for that matter, But
- 2:44Speaker 1: the New York City government wastes almost well, probably more
- 2:48Speaker 1: than half its budget. So there's about thirty billion dollars
- 2:52Speaker 1: just totally wasted that could be taken care of these
- 2:55Speaker 1: kind of things. Rosie O'Donnell, Remember she left the country.
- 2:59Speaker 1: She's leaving America, leaving the country. That's it. She's gone. Well,
- 3:03Speaker 1: now she's back. Nobody can figure out what the hell
- 3:04Speaker 1: she's doing here. She's doing a one woman show on Broadway.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's because no one else wants to work with her.
- 3:11Speaker 1: She's filling in for Jimmy Kimmel. And what is what this?
- 3:15Speaker 1: Jimmy Kimmel. Colbert goes off the air, perfect time to
- 3:19Speaker 1: take some of that audience beyond every night and win
- 3:23Speaker 1: over that audience. He leaves for the whole summer. What
- 3:26Speaker 1: kind of guy takes the whole summer off, especially when
- 3:31Speaker 1: your show's in jeopardy, probably because it's losing money every year.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You'd think you'd want to stay there and work. But
- 3:37Speaker 1: he's taken the whole summer off. A lot of guests
- 3:39Speaker 1: sos Rosie o'donald will be one of them. That's a
- 3:42Speaker 1: chance for her to go on and attack Trump. She
- 3:47Speaker 1: is doing a lot of interviews. She says Trump has
- 3:49Speaker 1: PTSD whatever she means there. She said he's triggered by me.
- 3:57Speaker 1: She's triggered. She calls him a I can't read this.
- 3:59Speaker 1: The wage is pretty bad. But the decades long feud
- 4:03Speaker 1: it all started. Remember Trump owned the Miss USA pageant,
- 4:09Speaker 1: He owned the beauty pageant, and there was some controversy
- 4:11Speaker 1: with a beauty pageant contestant, contestant and something there was
- 4:18Speaker 1: something Trump did about it or said about it. Something
- 4:20Speaker 1: he did, and that made it a subject on the
- 4:23Speaker 1: view and they started to discuss the problem with this
- 4:27Speaker 1: beauty contestant and Trump's actions. That was the topic. But
- 4:32Speaker 1: then somehow, when they went to Rosie O'Donnell, she got
- 4:35Speaker 1: really ugly about it and started imitating Trump and doing
- 4:38Speaker 1: like vicious, vicious attacks on Trump. And he saw it
- 4:43Speaker 1: and then he really went after her. This is years ago,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but long before he got into politics, and he really
- 4:48Speaker 1: went after her. And it went back and forth and
- 4:51Speaker 1: back and forth. So she said, he's so deluded, he's
- 4:56Speaker 1: got post traumatic stress syndrome for me. But it it
- 5:00Speaker 1: was just and that's the way Trump's always been. If
- 5:02Speaker 1: you punch him hard, he'll punch you back harder. It's
- 5:05Speaker 1: always been that way. But she was the one that
- 5:07Speaker 1: started the feud. And that's the last guy you want
- 5:09Speaker 1: to start a feud with because he he will never
- 5:12Speaker 1: back down. He's relentless punching back. And it just got
- 5:17Speaker 1: out of control. So people, even people that know Rosie O'Donnells,
- 5:20Speaker 1: say she's so deluded. Trump lives rent free in her head.
- 5:23Speaker 1: She's obsessed. It poisoned her soul and it just never
- 5:28Speaker 1: ever ever ends. Now, Hey, there's an interesting story in Connecticut.
- 5:35Speaker 1: They got a governor there, ned Lamont. He's running for
- 5:38Speaker 1: a third term, Ned Lamont, and I notice he's running
- 5:42Speaker 1: TV commercials all over the place, this ned Lamont. It
- 5:46Speaker 1: wasn't a bad governor in the beginning because he was
- 5:49Speaker 1: a business guy, made a lot of money, very successful businessman,
- 5:53Speaker 1: then became governor California. The good thing is if you
- 5:55Speaker 1: were in the business world, you have a little idea
- 5:58Speaker 1: of reality and common sense. But like a lot of
- 6:02Speaker 1: these governors like Cuomo, not as bad as Cuomo, but
- 6:05Speaker 1: he's going too far to the left. He's getting a
- 6:07Speaker 1: little crazy. So Lamont and this Connecticut state legislature. This
- 6:13Speaker 1: used to be the most common sense place Connecticut, but
- 6:16Speaker 1: they're getting out of control. They've passed all kinds of stuff.
- 6:18Speaker 1: And Lamont and the legislature where they can go into
- 6:22Speaker 1: every town and take control of housing. They can force
- 6:26Speaker 1: every local town. There's house built eight thousand and two
- 6:31Speaker 1: Special Legislative Session lesson. But this Lamont is behind. This
- 6:34Speaker 1: requires municipalities to prepare housing growth plans, requires them to
- 6:40Speaker 1: have low income housing, requires them to have this residential development.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And that residential development makes no sense at all. You're
- 6:48Speaker 1: talking about nice little Connecticut towns, whether it's Greenwich or
- 6:50Speaker 1: Ridgefield or Bethel, or where the state can come in
- 6:55Speaker 1: and decide where you're going to build housing and where
- 6:57Speaker 1: you're gonna have to have low income housing. It's appsbsolutely disgusting.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Greenwich has a very good mayor, Fred Camillo, excellent mayor.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So he held a press conference recently to stop this,
- 7:11Speaker 1: to absolutely stop this. Now there's a guy running for
- 7:14Speaker 1: governor as the Republican. You need to vote for him
- 7:17Speaker 1: in November. It's Ryan Fozzio. Make sure you vote for
- 7:21Speaker 1: him and get rid of this, ned Lamont. But Fred
- 7:24Speaker 1: Camillo and him great press conference bringing attention to it.
- 7:28Speaker 1: First of all, you know they try this stuff in
- 7:30Speaker 1: New York. They try this where the state or the
- 7:32Speaker 1: federal government can come in to your nice little town.
- 7:36Speaker 1: If you're Ridgefield, Connecticut and decide, you know what, low
- 7:38Speaker 1: income housing right here, right next to that beautiful candy
- 7:42Speaker 1: store you got in Ridgefield. It's awful. I'm glad somebody
- 7:47Speaker 1: is standing up to this and trying to stop it.
- 7:49Speaker 1: But if you're in Connecticut, get rid of this, ned Lamont,
- 7:52Speaker 1: get to vote for Fozzio, the Republican candidate in November.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Just stop all of this. So people are asking about
- 8:01Speaker 1: mom Donnie more about about his supermarkets. They're asking him
- 8:05Speaker 1: for details. There's not gonna be any supermarkets. He's never
- 8:09Speaker 1: gonna get this actually done. I mean, it's just talking,
- 8:12Speaker 1: talk and plan and talk and skip. So they're asking
- 8:16Speaker 1: him about will they have a butcher's No, he says
- 8:18Speaker 1: no butchers. What about hot food? No, no hot food.
- 8:24Speaker 1: But he said at our stores, eggs will be cheaper,
- 8:26Speaker 1: bread will be cheaper, so that covers breakfast. What about
- 8:31Speaker 1: the rest of the day. He can't say what will
- 8:33Speaker 1: be cheaper, but eggs and bread. So if you don't
- 8:39Speaker 1: mind a fridaygg sandwich for dinner, you'll be fine. He
- 8:44Speaker 1: said his shops will focus on selling a discounted core
- 8:49Speaker 1: basket of goods. So again, there's all kinds of problems
- 8:54Speaker 1: with this. It's not gonna work, but don't worry about it.
- 8:57Speaker 1: You're never gonna see one of these groceresters. He's talking
- 9:00Speaker 1: about twenty twenty nine. That means twenty thirty six, and
- 9:03Speaker 1: he'll be long gone by then, long gone by then.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Now he was not born in this country, so he
- 9:11Speaker 1: can't run for president. There's some people think that maybe
- 9:16Speaker 1: in a year or so, as a BN mayor gets
- 9:18Speaker 1: boring for him and he's not being successful at it,
- 9:22Speaker 1: that he may decide to jump ship and run for
- 9:25Speaker 1: Schumer's seat. Everybody thinks AOC will run for that seat,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and Schumer has absolutely no shot at reelection. He knows
- 9:33Speaker 1: that he'll drop out of the race, so it'll be
- 9:34Speaker 1: an open seat. So don't be surprised if Mom Donnie
- 9:39Speaker 1: jumps into this. He could become a senator. Now, this
- 9:41Speaker 1: guy in this nutjob el sayad in Michigan was born
- 9:46Speaker 1: in this country. So the crazy socialist are thinking, if
- 9:49Speaker 1: they need a twenty twenty eight presidential candidate, this guy
- 9:52Speaker 1: will be perfect. Doctor Abdul el Sayad, crazy left wing kook.
- 9:58Speaker 1: But that's exactly what the I'm looking for in twenty
- 10:02Speaker 1: twenty eight. So keep an eye on these guys to
- 10:06Speaker 1: go for that. As twenty twenty eight comes around, you'll
- 10:09Speaker 1: see Elsaya I think, talk about president. You'll see Mom
- 10:12Speaker 1: Donnie talk about the Senate and AOC. You know, she
- 10:17Speaker 1: was the original squad whatever it was. But but as
- 10:23Speaker 1: bad as AOC was, these people took way to the
- 10:27Speaker 1: left of her. Whether it's Elsayad or that Hong in
- 10:32Speaker 1: Wisconsin or Mom Donnie, they're way to the left of her.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So AOC's time may be over. It might be might
- 10:40Speaker 1: be a little too late for her. She might be considered.
- 10:44Speaker 1: You know how they think of Schumer's this old fossil,
- 10:46Speaker 1: this old dinosaur out of time. Well they're going to
- 10:48Speaker 1: start thinking of her that way too. She's next on
- 10:51Speaker 1: that list. So hey, the Trump administration talking about banning
- 10:56Speaker 1: Chinese robots. You know, robots are the big thing right now.
- 10:59Speaker 1: They they do work in all the factories. There's companies
- 11:04Speaker 1: now that will build a house with robots, these robots
- 11:06Speaker 1: doing all kinds of stuff. But the Chinese robots that
- 11:09Speaker 1: are being imported, now, why would they ban those, Well,
- 11:14Speaker 1: the president says they may be loaded with all kinds
- 11:17Speaker 1: of spyware. It'd be easy to do it in a robot.
- 11:21Speaker 1: You know, a robot has all kinds of stuff in there.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So our intelligence services are reporting that China might be
- 11:28Speaker 1: loading up those robots with surveillance stuff, spyware, all sorts
- 11:32Speaker 1: of stuff. So there could be a full ban on
- 11:35Speaker 1: them from China at some point. Bruce Blakeman going after
- 11:41Speaker 1: Hokel and the MTA boss liber The spending is out
- 11:46Speaker 1: of control at the MTA, absolutely out of control. The
- 11:51Speaker 1: budget gaps, you know, the budget is like they have
- 11:54Speaker 1: a gap like two hundred and ninety five million, that's
- 11:56Speaker 1: the budget gap. The budget gap in a couple of
- 11:59Speaker 1: years will be five hundred million. It's absolutely ridiculous. This
- 12:02Speaker 1: is taxpayer money comes right out of our paychecks, that's
- 12:06Speaker 1: being wasted. Blakeman yelling and screaming, and he's right, there's
- 12:09Speaker 1: a big spending problem. Hey. By the way, Blakeman was
- 12:13Speaker 1: on the MTA board for a while, so when it
- 12:15Speaker 1: comes to this, he really really knows his stuff. So
- 12:18Speaker 1: listen carefully to him on this subject. Hey, I think
- 12:23Speaker 1: I mentioned this the other day. I'll mention it again.
- 12:25Speaker 1: If you drink tea, you boil the water. You put
- 12:31Speaker 1: the tea bag in and you let it sit for
- 12:34Speaker 1: a few minutes, and then what do you do before
- 12:37Speaker 1: you take the tea bag out. A lot of people
- 12:38Speaker 1: do this. They take the spoon before they take the
- 12:42Speaker 1: tea bag out. They squeeze the tea bag to get
- 12:46Speaker 1: whatever's left in there out of it. Experts saying, don't
- 12:50Speaker 1: ever do that. Don't ever squeeze the tea bag when
- 12:53Speaker 1: it's in the water. A tea bag is made so
- 12:56Speaker 1: when you put it in the water, all the good
- 12:59Speaker 1: stuff comes out into the water. If you squeeze it,
- 13:04Speaker 1: the bad stuff also comes out. There's other stuff in
- 13:07Speaker 1: that tea bag that's a little bitter, and when you
- 13:10Speaker 1: squeeze it, you bring it out, the bitter, dry stuff
- 13:12Speaker 1: that's not supposed to come out. You're physically forcing it out.
- 13:16Speaker 1: These are what they call concentrated tannins. So don't squeeze
- 13:20Speaker 1: the tea bag and you'll get a little better flavor
- 13:23Speaker 1: than if you do squeeze it. Hey, don't forget where
- 13:26Speaker 1: the show is now nine to noon every day. We
- 13:28Speaker 1: now start at nine am. Shows now three hours every day.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two
- 13:36Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number we'd like to
- 13:39Speaker 1: get new callers all the time. You never called before.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. We'll take
- 13:46Speaker 1: some calls next eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 13:50Speaker 1: ten
