- 0:00Are we ready, guys? Sure. Yeah. All right, good.
- 0:05That's music to my ears. We're talking about
- 0:15music in the paranormal. I did not make that
- 0:18connection. No? How did you not make that connection?
- 0:21I kind of forgot. My brain is like all over the
- 0:25place today. How could you forget because this
- 0:28was your topic? I'm gonna be honest. I don't
- 0:32even want to do this right now. Alright guys,
- 0:37welcome back to this episode of What's the Topic?
- 0:40Topic? Topic? What's the Topic? What's the Topic?
- 0:42Welcome to our podcast where we take deep dives
- 0:44looking at various topics through a paranormal
- 0:46lens. So Angela, you wanted to talk about...
- 0:52music in the paranormal i'm intrigued as to what
- 0:57like made you come up with this topic yeah what
- 1:02was the inciting incident because me and brie
- 1:05have dabbled in this before what made you say
- 1:09it like on a random it was like a couple days
- 1:12ago you're like let's we need to talk about this
- 1:15i was in class and we were talking about music
- 1:22don't remember why but we were and it was basically
- 1:27talking about how music like brings everyone
- 1:30together and it's kind of like a language that
- 1:34doesn't need to be understood but it still connects
- 1:36everyone i was like it's probably the same way
- 1:40for ghosts you know whatever and i just feel
- 1:43like when we're listening to music we're connecting
- 1:47on a deeper level you know like spiritually wise
- 1:52and I just feel like music could be like a good
- 1:57what's the word connector to the spirit realm
- 2:03whatever yeah yeah I I totally agree like what
- 2:08you were saying was um you don't have to understand
- 2:11music to enjoy it like and I think that holds
- 2:15true in any anywhere like No matter what kind
- 2:21of entity, spirit, person, anyone who you're
- 2:25communicating with, they understand what music
- 2:29is. It doesn't matter if they know what language
- 2:31it's in, if they understand the words. Music
- 2:36is music. You can enjoy it no matter what. It's
- 2:39a worldwide language. Yeah. It's interesting
- 2:44too because not even... i assumed we would be
- 2:47talking about this like you know using music
- 2:49to better communicate with the spirits but what
- 2:52you're getting at angela is making me think of
- 2:54bigger topic stuff you know before any any of
- 2:58the you know micro level how do we communicate
- 3:00with the spirit it's like could when you said
- 3:03like it makes us feel things music you know the
- 3:07sound the vibrations the frequency that's all
- 3:09music is is frequency and vibration a lot of
- 3:11people say that's what spirits are so yeah music
- 3:14can make you feel emotion who's like it makes
- 3:17perfect perfect sense when you compare it like
- 3:20that that a spiritual presence you can feel sadness
- 3:22you can feel these different emotions yeah yeah
- 3:26and i also was thinking about all the old theaters
- 3:30you know where concerts like all the cars are
- 3:33always so haunted you're so haunted And could
- 3:36that be why all the people congregating, having
- 3:38a shared experience in concert with each other
- 3:43and the performer and all this emotion, you know,
- 3:46bouncing off the walls, could that be the perfect
- 3:48environment to then the spiritual energy just,
- 3:51it all just kind of feeds off each other? Yeah,
- 3:55absolutely. Like, I totally agree. I mean, I've
- 3:58never thought of it that way either, but, like,
- 4:00that's a really great point. I mean, we talk
- 4:02about how emotions and stuff can create, like,
- 4:06create energy in a location that you can feel
- 4:15across a long period of time. And who's to say
- 4:21that music can't do the same thing? Because what
- 4:23does music do? It invokes emotion. Exactly. That's
- 4:29an interesting takeaway from it. You know what's
- 4:33really interesting, too? I don't know why I made
- 4:35me think of this. Back in the day, they used
- 4:38to use vinyl records, obviously, because you
- 4:42didn't have, like, you know. computers and internet
- 4:46they would have they would they would record
- 4:48evps to a vinyl record do you know about this
- 4:52angela and they would you would be able to get
- 4:54vinyl records that had spirit voices on them
- 4:56really and playing yeah yeah i'll have to do
- 5:00some more digging um wait wait what is this again
- 5:03Back in the day before, like, you know, when
- 5:05you would have a recorder and you would record
- 5:07a EVP, you couldn't save it to, you couldn't
- 5:10upload it to YouTube. So they still have, you
- 5:13can still buy the old original when they press
- 5:16it to vinyl, like vinyl records. And you can
- 5:18see on the grooves where the EVPs were. They
- 5:22were getting other voices that weren't there
- 5:24in the original recording? Yeah, the original
- 5:26EVPs, the original Spirit voices. That's very
- 5:28interesting. i could be totally wrong it seems
- 5:31like this entire episode is just things that
- 5:33angela sparked in my brain from way back forever
- 5:38ago um yeah i saw this earlier and i didn't do
- 5:42any research into this so who knows if this is
- 5:45actually true or not but it's a frequency around
- 5:50the 396 hertz type of thing And it's believed
- 5:54to promote healing, reduce stress, and mental
- 5:58clarity. And I was just, like, that's another
- 6:02thing I saw earlier, too. And I was, like, music
- 6:07has so much power to it. I'm, like, think about
- 6:10it. If you can, like, use therapy, like, use
- 6:13music to heal yourself. Yeah, like, there is
- 6:17music therapy and stuff like that, too. And you
- 6:18know what's funny, too, is Eloise Asylum was
- 6:21one of the pioneers for music therapy, I believe.
- 6:24Oh, that's really cool. Interesting. Which is
- 6:26another haunted location we've been to right
- 6:28in our backyard. Yeah. I mean, it probably has
- 6:32other reasons besides music as to why it's haunted,
- 6:35but... Yeah. Yeah. But no, that's a good point
- 6:38that even music therapy, like, if music can heal,
- 6:40why can't it transcend? I mean, if music is healing,
- 6:45isn't that transcending spiritually already just
- 6:47within your... spiritual soul yeah exactly i
- 6:51was like well could this be healing to towards
- 6:53the spirit still like does it have to be healing
- 6:58towards the um living alive being can it still
- 7:02be healing to a um the spirits or whatever and
- 7:06then there was like wait wait wait we talked
- 7:09a couple episodes ago about how The joy of games
- 7:13and playing games could be healing towards the
- 7:15spirits. So this is making me think that same
- 7:18type of thing. Yeah. Next investigation, we should
- 7:21play a musical chairs, which might just be the
- 7:23ultimate healing. Dude, that would be so fun.
- 7:26Musical chairs with three people. And a ghost.
- 7:29And you know what we could do? Okay. we like
- 7:33three chairs three more chairs and then we have
- 7:36a cat ball in each chair so we're playing musical
- 7:39chairs and we go to a chair and then the spirits
- 7:42also have to go to chairs so they need to set
- 7:45off the cat ball so that's the only way we'll
- 7:47know if they're actually sitting down or not
- 7:49that'd be so fun might need to work it out a
- 7:55little bit because there's some i'm thinking
- 7:57what if you accidentally knock a chair or something
- 7:59and make the cat buckle off there's a lot of
- 8:01variables yeah musical chairs is pretty competitive
- 8:05and i am one of those people who if um i'm playing
- 8:09musical chairs and i have someone i'm going against
- 8:11and there's one chair left i will steal the chair
- 8:15yeah this is making me think about how angela
- 8:20uh told a prostitute ghost to sit in my lap one
- 8:23time and it is true but we the temperature and
- 8:27emf both were like fluctuating on my lap right
- 8:31after so maybe we can do something like like
- 8:34that just kind of see if there's something a
- 8:36presence on a chair oh yeah not a prostitute
- 8:40again though no well what happened if it's haunted
- 8:42by prostitutes wherever this next place we go
- 8:46and do this at then we'll do it in the next place
- 8:48after that okay fine whatever oh But yeah, I
- 8:56thought it was... We were overall just like,
- 8:58um, but, yeah, go ahead, huh? I was thinking,
- 9:04like, going into this episode, like, when you
- 9:08said, let's talk about music in the paranormal.
- 9:10I'm like, okay, like, using music as a trigger,
- 9:15like, trigger? Because that's what we've done
- 9:18in the past for some investigations. Like, we've
- 9:20played music or have sang or... what have you
- 9:25to like see if we can stir up activity um and
- 9:30using it as a trigger i know there's like like
- 9:32we use the example of the howell opera house
- 9:34i know there's one investigation i did with msu
- 9:39paranormal society where we investigated a house
- 9:44and the person who used to live there was used
- 9:48to be a violinist so we played violin music um
- 9:53Trying to think of some other places where we've
- 9:55done. How can you forget about the Foot Rockwell
- 9:58Cemetery with the Beethoven? Are you seriously
- 10:04blanking? This is one of my favorite investigations
- 10:07we've ever done. Are you sure I was there? I'm
- 10:10positive because it was one of the like this
- 10:13was Brie feeling a vibe before you even like
- 10:16admitted vibes were real. So it was like memorable
- 10:19for that reason. Are you sure I was there? I'm
- 10:23sure. There's a YouTube video to prove it. It
- 10:26was part of the OG Afterlife Road Haunted Michigan
- 10:30web series. There's a video. I don't believe
- 10:32you. You're going to have to send it to me. I
- 10:34will. I will right after this. But we were investigating
- 10:37this cemetery. We had it scheduled that night.
- 10:40It was one of the rare investigations back in
- 10:43the day that we actually had something planned
- 10:44out in advance. And the... music the royalty
- 10:49-free music library i used at the time like dropped
- 10:53that morning just coincidentally a bunch of old
- 10:56classical like beethoven music so i'm like you
- 11:00know okay what if i just download a beethoven
- 11:03track and we can play it it's just coincidental
- 11:06with the timing and everything i remember which
- 11:08you remember talking about i remember okay yep
- 11:11i do remember and i do remember a whole bunch
- 11:13of stuff happened i totally forgot about that
- 11:16Yeah, I noticed a trend. Sometimes the most intense
- 11:18feeling -wise investigations, you might black
- 11:22out. No, no. I was going to say. We have been
- 11:25on so many investigations. Can you really blame
- 11:28me for forgetting some occasionally? That's fair.
- 11:32That's fair. I can't remember specifics to a
- 11:35lot. I can't remember half the early ones anyways.
- 11:38The ones that stand out to me don't stand out
- 11:40to you. You know how many interviews back in
- 11:44the day? people would like interview me about
- 11:46the web series or whatever which had like over
- 11:49200 episodes and they're like in episode 10 this
- 11:52happened how did that make you feel and i was
- 11:54like i don't remember half the time i was like
- 12:01did that happen that seems pretty cool if it
- 12:03did okay but anyways with the cemetery what happened
- 12:07we show up to the cemetery and i'm like i got
- 12:10this plan i'm gonna play this beethoven and then
- 12:13as i'm setting it up we start taking out spirit
- 12:15box and spirit box before i even play anything
- 12:17says clear's day beethoven like that exactly
- 12:22beethoven and uh we're like wait wait wait did
- 12:29it say beethoven and as soon as brianna like
- 12:31asked did it say beethoven and she starts like
- 12:34laughing a little bit under her laugh because
- 12:36you know she knew we had it it said again beethoven
- 12:39after that i started playing i was like i gotta
- 12:41play it and then i said a third and final time
- 12:43beethoven and then the vibe changed dramatically
- 12:47it did it did change so much it was so intense
- 12:51there but it like didn't last like it was there
- 12:55and then it was gone like but i feel like that's
- 13:00how it happens a lot of the time i don't know
- 13:03yeah i feel like it was like it seemed to like
- 13:05as a music rose like the vibe rose it's like
- 13:11they were like this is new when they came to
- 13:13check on the music and then as the music kind
- 13:15of like started to fade out like the vibe did
- 13:18too it was really kind of strange yeah it was
- 13:21it was definitely an interesting investigation
- 13:23um Now that you remember it. Yeah, now that I
- 13:26remember it. I just had to, like, think about
- 13:29it for a hot minute. You gotta, like, prepare
- 13:32me for these things so I can think about it before
- 13:34the podcast and be like, oh, yeah. Okay, I can
- 13:37talk about this. Well, nothing is prepared. Nothing
- 13:40is prepared. Angela was like, let's talk about
- 13:42music. And she dropped that, like, existential,
- 13:44just, like, mind -blowing, just, like, opening
- 13:46little spiel she did. And we all were just like.
- 13:51That was deeper than we expected. Uh -huh. No,
- 13:54but is it sad that - Was it really? Yeah, no,
- 13:57it was. Is it sad that when you say Beethoven,
- 14:00the first thing I think of is this random cemetery
- 14:03in East Lansing, Michigan? I don't know. I think
- 14:07of Taylor Swift because, like, wasn't he, like,
- 14:12did Taylor Swift at the time? Like, you know
- 14:16what I mean? Like, wasn't he, like, popular?
- 14:19Like, this is the go -to guy that everyone likes,
- 14:21you know? I... What's that game where, like,
- 14:26you hold up a word and you have to say, like,
- 14:29the first thing that comes to mind when you hear
- 14:32it? I think you're the only one on Earth. It's,
- 14:34like, Beethoven. Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift!
- 14:42Something for our, uh... november fans only page
- 14:47is beethoven equals taylor swift yes question
- 14:51mark i gotta go down this rabbit hole now and
- 14:56see if that exists i mean look think about it
- 15:01like in like a few hundred years from now taylor
- 15:03swift music is probably going to be like playing
- 15:06in like a museum being like so this is the type
- 15:09of shit people like to listen to back in those
- 15:12days this was the go -to this is the stuff people
- 15:14went to see in concert and paid hundreds of dollars
- 15:16to see like and this is like that's they're gonna
- 15:20like put it into um like hey like i don't know
- 15:25high school orchestras are gonna be playing it
- 15:27in like high school orchestras already are playing
- 15:30it what are you talking about well it's like
- 15:32a classical piece Not like a fun pop song thing.
- 15:37You know how they always play some sort of classical
- 15:40piece or whatever? Instead of Big Tobin, it's
- 15:47going to be Taylor Swift in 200 years from now.
- 15:50Or Chapel Brown. I don't think so. I do have
- 15:59a question, though. Do you know Luigi? Cherubini?
- 16:05No. Who's this individual? I don't know. He's
- 16:10a contemporary to Beethoven. If I even pronounce
- 16:13his name right. What do we say? Just say it fast
- 16:14and no one will know the difference. I think
- 16:19in the circumstances it's actually harder. Why?
- 16:27What about him? What are you looking at? What
- 16:29was this guy doing? No, I'm just looking at contemporaries
- 16:32to Beethoven. Oh, okay. I think you're right.
- 16:34I don't think... What about... I'm not even going
- 16:39to try to pronounce that. What? No, I'm not going
- 16:42to try. Okay, okay. Franz Liszt's... Liszt's...
- 16:49Okay. You know, Beethoven... I feel like if we
- 16:53listen to these contemporary composers of the
- 16:55time... we as musical illiterates probably won't
- 17:01be able to tell much difference but we can pronounce
- 17:04beethoven's name and that's probably why to us
- 17:07he's memorable the go -to composer of the era
- 17:13because i can't pronounce any of the other no
- 17:14i'm pretty sure it's because his stuff was new
- 17:18and different at the time and people loved it
- 17:22Yeah, yeah. It's amazing why he's so well known.
- 17:25I mean, there's a lot of artists are remembered
- 17:29years later. Like, they don't meet critical reception.
- 17:34You know. I mean, think about it. The most popular
- 17:40at the time is rarely the one that's remembered.
- 17:44hundreds of years that is very true okay so maybe
- 17:47like taylor swift is actually just going to be
- 17:50like a piece of dust into history never to be
- 17:52remembered after she died and it's actually no
- 17:55that's not what i'm saying oh my god imagine
- 17:57imagine in the future when people are ghost hunting
- 18:00and they're like oh my gosh what music can we
- 18:04pull out to like draw these ghosts and they play
- 18:08taylor swift and it's all uh like the ghost is
- 18:11a swifty girl uh in her swifty girl era and what
- 18:19what cheese era would that be the swiss era i
- 18:25don't know what is funnier picturing a um a twailer
- 18:39a toilet A Taylor Swift fan as a ghost or a frat
- 18:47Chad as a ghost. Both hold the same energy and
- 18:51are equally funny. I feel like this exact scenario
- 18:56is the reason AI exists. So get ready for the
- 19:02promotions for this episode. Okay. Oh, Lord.
- 19:08I'm going to generate. images of Taylor Swift
- 19:11and Frat, uh, Frat. Chad the Frat. Me, Frat.
- 19:20He's the Frat Chad. What's happened to this episode,
- 19:31actually? Man, I don't even know. It went from
- 19:35deep to, like, okay we started out with the deep
- 19:40stuff and now we're getting into the bits instead
- 19:43usually we do the bits first and then we get
- 19:45into the deep stuff oh okay this reminds me i
- 19:49got another thing i want to talk about when it
- 19:51comes to music okay okay back on track okay because
- 19:57you're talking about bits so you're gonna see
- 20:00a pattern that comes up with what i talked about
- 20:03anyway um I don't know what kind of music this
- 20:08is, but it's common music or like frequencies
- 20:12or whatever that you hear in a lot of horror
- 20:14movie music, if you know what I'm talking about.
- 20:18And some people believe that, or not even some
- 20:22people, like this goes back a long time, that
- 20:24this type of music summons, is able to summon
- 20:29spirits and conjure entities and stuff like that.
- 20:34So could you actually... use certain music to
- 20:38conjure a spirit you know i mean i wouldn't believe
- 20:44it's out of the realm of possibility i mean like
- 20:48we say you can consider many things a ritual
- 20:52and it all depends on i guess the frame of mind
- 20:58and the intention and how you're using music
- 21:04I don't know what kind of music this is, or what
- 21:09it was called specifically, but I remember reading
- 21:13this in multiple different places, and I'm like,
- 21:16this is so intriguing. This is so intriguing.
- 21:21I'll have to look more into it. I'm trying to
- 21:24find examples, and I'm not coming up with much
- 21:28luck, but I am just trying quickly here on the
- 21:31spot. My first... guess would be like if it's
- 21:36like slow and kind of meditative already could
- 21:41it kind of put you in in a more meditative stage
- 21:45just kind of getting in a groove trance of the
- 21:48or does it have some sort of infrasound in it
- 21:51that's causing you to be more on edge and wary
- 21:56and i don't know yeah like i said i think it's
- 22:01still has more to do with intention but yeah
- 22:04i think intention is always a big part to everything
- 22:07but yeah intention and also going back to what
- 22:11you were saying brie um and also going back to
- 22:14our whistle episode talking about whistling it's
- 22:16like a universal language so if you have music
- 22:22that might sound familiar to a spirit um they
- 22:26might come towards and be like hey kind of like
- 22:28what we're talking about at the cemetery they
- 22:30were calling for beethoven yeah we played familiar
- 22:33music to them beethoven the taylor swift of the
- 22:36time it's like if you go if you go out to a park
- 22:40in the middle of east lansing michigan across
- 22:44the street from the cemetery but like a park
- 22:46a playground uh -huh taylor swift music all the
- 22:49swifties will come and be like hey there's something
- 22:52going on that's exactly what we're doing but
- 22:54the beethoven for the At the Dead Park. The Dead
- 22:59Park. So it's a universal language. You know
- 23:02how many tickets Taylor Swift sells out in countries
- 23:06that no one speaks English? Yeah, exactly. But
- 23:10they all understand. It's the same thing. It's
- 23:12the same thing. Now, you know what else is interesting,
- 23:18taking it back to a bit? The theory that music
- 23:23can... trigger paranormal activity is ironically
- 23:27called for some reason because they i can't find
- 23:31the origins i don't think anyone knows the origins
- 23:33all these articles i found they say we have no
- 23:36idea why it's called this it's called the singapore
- 23:38theory and our biggest event our biggest fan
- 23:43is from singapore singapore singapore so it's
- 23:48fitting that singapore fan finally gets his due
- 23:54Singapore theory about damn time. He's probably
- 23:57sitting there all angry. I'm from Singapore.
- 23:59They know I'm from Singapore. Why don't they
- 24:00talk about my theory, man? No one knows why it's
- 24:04called that. Huh. Interesting. I guess on an
- 24:09episode of Ghost Hunters back in like 2010, they
- 24:12were like, we're going to use the Singapore theory.
- 24:14And they just kind of caught on. Maybe it has
- 24:17something to do with singing. Singing up. I don't
- 24:22know. Should we do the say it fast method? What
- 24:26happens when we say it fast? Singapore. It still
- 24:29sounds the same. Singapore. It sounds the same.
- 24:35Yeah, it sounds like I said Singapore. Yeah.
- 24:39Sing and pour? But what would you be pouring?
- 24:44I don't know. Orange juice. What? How does orange
- 24:53juice help paranormal investigating? When you're
- 25:00singing. I feel like that's the last drink you
- 25:03want to sing. It's the first thing that came
- 25:04to my mind. You said, what are they pouring?
- 25:07And my answer is they're pouring orange juice.
- 25:11Not ghost energy drinks. My thought was like
- 25:17pouring their hearts out, you know, singing.
- 25:21You all took the assignment, literally. You all
- 25:25took it literally, man. I don't know why you're
- 25:27talking so literally. I'm so sorry. Are you bringing
- 25:33out your inner Grinch? I don't know. Oh, when
- 25:38he 100 % is. But you sound nothing like the Grinch.
- 25:42I know. But I'm a mean one. No, you're not. No,
- 25:47I'm not. Anything else you have to say about
- 25:49music? I think we've covered a lot, surprisingly.
- 25:57What do you mean, surprisingly? I didn't expect
- 26:00to talk that much. I thought we were going to
- 26:03talk about the Singapore theory, and now is it?
- 26:05Like, I didn't anticipate a deep dive right off
- 26:09the bat in, like, the things and the theories
- 26:13and the things. you know theories and things
- 26:16yeah i've lost my words it's it's okay we barely
- 26:22talked about the singapore theory though yeah
- 26:24we barely barely touched on it we should utilize
- 26:27it more it's just so difficult you know because
- 26:29we're filming a lot of these things so uh you
- 26:34can't just pull up a taylor swift song and play
- 26:38it because copyrights i was actually watching
- 26:41something or i say something i was watching ghost
- 26:44adventures before this who are we kidding and
- 26:46they used something similar like i don't know
- 26:49if you could call it singapore theory but they
- 26:53were in an old theater and there was someone
- 26:56who had like passed away during a show and they
- 27:01played a clip from the show that was playing
- 27:05when that person died to see if they would get
- 27:08a response and they did i mean they got a lot
- 27:10of things that happened in that theater i don't
- 27:12know if that's something that you'd consider
- 27:13singapore theory because it's not music but it
- 27:17was like a movie yeah wow that's interesting
- 27:20that's really interesting i feel like movies
- 27:24kind of have kind of have the same vibe to like
- 27:30I mean, people can sit down and watch a movie
- 27:34in a different film, but still enjoy it and kind
- 27:37of get a same vibe about what's happening. You
- 27:39know, I mean, who doesn't do that? Yeah, exactly.
- 27:45So how my head is going in a million different
- 27:47places. Are you OK? I'm OK. I'm just thinking
- 27:51now I'm thinking about what if we if we. Take
- 27:56some of the old photos and videos. We've investigated
- 27:59places like Simpson Hospital back like a decade
- 28:02now at this point. And when we first investigated,
- 28:07they were completely abandoned. Now the owners
- 28:09have done a tremendous job renovating it, bringing
- 28:13it back to its former glory. And it looks nothing
- 28:15like it did when we first went there in the best
- 28:18way possible. That makes me think because remember
- 28:23how you were talking about. a while ago when
- 28:26you film in a certain location it has its own
- 28:30sound yeah yeah if you play the sound of what
- 28:35stimson originally sounded like from those old
- 28:38videos in the stimson that it is now what kind
- 28:42of reaction would you get i was taking this step
- 28:46further and what if we project what the room
- 28:49used to look like onto the same wall of it now
- 28:52with the sound Interesting. And you have overlays.
- 28:56I like this. More theories. Future tests and
- 29:02theories. That's... And now that we're recording
- 29:06in all these places making immersive... audio
- 29:09and visual loops with the 8K 360 camera and 5
- 29:13.1 surround sound. It's going to be even easier
- 29:17to test this in the future. But Stimson, I just
- 29:21know we have so much original stuff because that
- 29:23was one of the ones I rented cameras and we had
- 29:26the stationary cameras in the basement and stuff.
- 29:30Even though it wasn't completely silent at the
- 29:33time, the basement morgue area of this old hospital.
- 29:38There was still a tenant that lived on the adjacent
- 29:41wall. Not in the morgue, but they shared a wall
- 29:44with it. About an hour in to the three or four
- 29:50hours we were investigating. I don't think they
- 29:54knew we were there. And especially recording.
- 29:57And it must have been a bedroom that was adjacent.
- 30:01And there was a man and woman in there. Having
- 30:04a lot of fun. And it was the creepiest thing.
- 30:10You should have like knocked on the wall and
- 30:12scared them or something. I didn't know. I didn't.
- 30:14I was playing back because I just had a camera
- 30:17down there. And imagine my surprise when it was
- 30:20like for an hour, just like baseline, like no
- 30:23sounds. And then I just see these spikes in the
- 30:26audio. And I'm just like, is this what I think
- 30:29it is? And I go back like a few minutes. And
- 30:33I'm just listening. In public. I think this was,
- 30:36like, in a coffee shop or someone just listening.
- 30:39Oh, God. I'm like, yes, that's not a bird making
- 30:44bird calls that somehow got trapped in the morgue.
- 30:47Let me lower my volume a little bit. Oh. I'll
- 30:52post it to the Only November fans. That seems
- 30:54fitting. I feel like that's not something you
- 30:57should have put to me. Why? Is this a two...
- 31:00Is Michigan a two -party consent state? I...
- 31:05Don't know. I don't know. Anyways. Anything else?
- 31:15We kind of veered away from music there. Again.
- 31:19You brought up an adjacent topic. The movies.
- 31:24I was just bringing up sex magic. Which is an
- 31:27adjacent topic. If you want to talk about sex
- 31:31magic. no we're not going there guys that's the
- 31:38end of the episode why do you want me to talk
- 31:40about that I'm just oh goodness gracious me so
