Transcript
- 0:00Well, it's about to heat up in here because we're entering the judgment zone.
- 0:04We know, every Tuesday we like to talk to somebody who's got themselves
- 0:08in a bit of a predicament, and today that is an understatement. We're
- 0:12going to call her Leanne, and I think you'll understand why. We're going
- 0:15to have a little alias for her. All right, So she's on the
- 0:19phone now, Good morning, Leon. What's going on? So my husband
- 0:22and I have been married for eight years and we went through a rough patch
- 0:26recently and we separated for a few months. That's so yeah, okay,
- 0:30yeah, but we are reconciling now, and we even started counseling. But
- 0:35I came clean and admitted that I had a relationship. I mean, it
- 0:38was really like a one night er while we were on break. But he's
- 0:43having some issues with that, and I can imagine he has this idea that
- 0:47maybe we should go, like he should go have a night with someone different
- 0:51to like level the playing field. He thinks it will help, and I
- 0:54sort of agree, but I don't know. I'm not sure what to do.
- 0:58You're considering it, yeah, I am, because you do want to
- 1:00get back with him. You feel like you've moved on from your issues other
- 1:03than this one, and you feel like it's work do it. Yeah,
- 1:07I definitely feel like it's worth it, and I feel, you know,
- 1:10I feel guilty and if I get to do that, then he should get
- 1:12to do that. But but also I don't. I don't want him to.
- 1:15I was gonna say, I don't know if you could really get past
- 1:19that. It's easy to say like, oh, yeah, I did this,
- 1:22it'll make me feel better because of your conscience, But ultimately he would
- 1:26be with another woman, right, I think you just let him do it.
- 1:30No, I mean, if you really want to get back with the
- 1:32guy, it's sort of a hail Mary. I'll give you that. It
- 1:34might not work out either way. But you guys, it's like a process.
- 1:38Like she they were on a break, she was in a situation.
- 1:41So now he has to find somebody put a situation out there. Who knows
- 1:45what could happen. There's all sorts of websites for that. Oh my gosh,
- 1:48that's not the hard part, right, Len, here's what we're gonna
- 1:51do. We're gonna get some people's opinion on this. Of course, it's
- 1:53the judgment zone. So you're gonna hear some judge responses. Do not worry.
- 1:56It's all in the effort to help you. Okay, Okay, thank
- 1:59you all night. So the number is seven oh one two eight h one
- 2:01ninety eight seven. You can call us, you can text us, but
- 2:05either way, let us know what should Leanne do. You can't set this
- 2:07situation up like okay, I mean there's no I know this is not traditional,
- 2:13but in an untraditional circumstance, there's untraditional solutions. Okay, let's pretend
- 2:17she doesn't. Let's say they don't go forward to that. They just try
- 2:20to reconcile. You know that ain't gonna work, right? Is it ever
- 2:23gonna work? Then? I mean, you won't know it's your teat when
- 2:27it comes to a situation like this. In my opinion, I don't know
- 2:30it. She doesn't even understand how that is going to affect her. Yes,
- 2:34I know you hurt him, you were on a break all of that,
- 2:36But now to like create this situation of whatever it may be, maybe
- 2:42there won't be feelings if they cross that line, it doesn't matter. You're
- 2:46you're still having to communicate with somebody to go and do this. No,
- 2:49not seven o one two eight one ninety eight seven. Good morning. So
- 2:53here's a deal. When they were on a break, she knew the consequences
- 2:55of her having this one night of right, right, So if that's the
- 3:00way it's going to be, then let them do it. Also, you
- 3:01know, like maybe they should enter the possibility of like an open relationship deal,
- 3:07you know. I mean, Okay, if you judging Hugh Jackman by
- 3:09the way, you could talk all day. You have my full attention right
- 3:13now. You have a lovely voice. I get what you're saying, because
- 3:15even though they were on a break, I'm doing air quotes here. We've
- 3:19all been on breaks. We know what that means. You're supposed to be
- 3:22finding yourself. It's not just an excuse to go horse around because you know
- 3:25that. Still, if you're on a break, technically that means that you're
- 3:29going to go back, right, I mean, otherwise you would break up.
- 3:31Yeah, and that's why you said what you said. She knew what
- 3:35the consequences. She knew that would hurt him. So if you ever wanted
- 3:38to get back with them, either you shouldn't have done it, should or
- 3:40you'll let him do this. Guys, I just can't get best the fact
- 3:44that he has to like find somebody right now while they're working on their marriage
- 3:47to go through. I just I mean to be like, he already has
- 3:52somebody a little prospect. Hey, we appreciate your call. Where are you
- 3:58calling from the way to London, England worldwide? Amanda, look at us.
- 4:01We made it well, thanks sir? All right, bye bye,
- 4:04oh very nice. Obviously listening on the Big ninety eight point seven, app
- 4:09what do you think mesmeriz right now? Seven one two eight h one ninety
- 4:12eight seven? Should she let him quote get even? It's the judgment zone,
- 4:16so by all means get a little judge. Let us know it a
- 4:18Manda in the morning, Big ninety eight point seven. Of course, a
- 4:21lot of the conversation won't be about the super Bowl, whether you like it
- 4:26or not. You know, the super Bowl, though, it is kind
- 4:28of cool because it's a little something for everybody. You don't have to be
- 4:30a big football fan. In fact, I feel like it's non football fans
- 4:33who seem to embrace it the most. Yeah, we already have a couple
- 4:35of friends who are like, Hey, what's everybody doing for the Super Bowl?
- 4:38Do you guys want to have a party? Get the kids together,
- 4:40have a little fun. My only beef with the Super Bowl is why can't
- 4:44we I get advertisers and everything like later on and the later the better,
- 4:48but can we just have the game at like noon or one o'clock? Okay,
- 4:54I get that to your thing. But it's at like five. I
- 4:57mean it's it's earlier than most it's evening primetime football games. I know it
- 5:01just it feels like you have all day. Why can't you? I mean,
- 5:03I think a little earlier. I would listen to you if you said,
- 5:06why can't we do it on Saturday? Oh? Even better? That
- 5:09would be great, you know. And for me it's again, it's just
- 5:12become a tradition in my life that every year the Packers, they don't just
- 5:14lose in the playoffs, my favorite team. It's always heartbreaking and it makes
- 5:17me not want to even watch football or think about it. It's so sick
- 5:20when you care that much about something, Amanda, and I know you would.
- 5:23You would never understand having this sort of passion, Oh you or something,
- 5:27yes, but when it ripped your heart out like that, I just
- 5:30want to move on. I just wanted to be golf season. I don't
- 5:31want to think about football. I want it to be over. Will I
- 5:33go to a super Bowl party if invited? Sure, just because I,
- 5:39like many other people Amanda, in fact, seventy four percent feel like the
- 5:43food at the super Bowl party, oh yeah, is the best part about
- 5:46it. So that was actually the topic of our conversation in our little group
- 5:49chat. I had seen and I actually just saw one of my other group
- 5:54of friends. They did a chilly shark couterie. So you like you put
- 5:58together on a thing, you put like a whole pot of chili, maybe
- 6:00a couple of different kinds, and then they put like cheese, crackers,
- 6:03free doos, like everything that you like onions, like you'd put all the
- 6:06toppings. So they made that, and then another one I just saw that
- 6:10I really wanted to try, especially if we have all the kids together.
- 6:13You make different kinds of macaroni and cheese, but then you get the topping,
- 6:15so you could do like burnt and buffalo chicken, whatever you make like
- 6:19a big macaroni and cheese bowl. Wouldn't that be cool if you're willing to
- 6:23do it. And I appreciate people who'd go to those lanths, because I'm
- 6:26definitely the guy probably just gonna grab a bag of chips at the grocery store.
- 6:29The gas station on the rail guy was like, oh, yeah,
- 6:30no problem, we need me to bring anything, and hopes they're gonna say
- 6:33no, we got it covered, and you know're like, should I bring
- 6:35them bag of doritos just so we don't look like we're showing up empty handed.
- 6:39And they're the ones that sit on the counter and at the end of
- 6:41the night they're still unopened. Thank god I brought those. You know,
- 6:44I walk in with a case of cores, the light that it was originally
- 6:46a twelve pack, but there's seven left in there. Just being the cheapest
- 6:49man are you're the guy too. If you don't finish them, you take
- 6:53them when you leave because you brought them. Absolutely, Oh my god,
- 6:57I don't want to burden somebody leaving my loose beer can? Is that bad?
- 7:00I don't know. I love eating so much so Super Bowl. Really
- 7:03it's just the best combination of foods, like the wings, the chili,
- 7:08the dips. I mean, you can go all day with the dips,
- 7:11you really can. There's so many A French onion dip with ruffles, chips,
- 7:15buffalo chicken. I I haven't made that yet this year. The seven
- 7:17layer dip. Oh my gosh, anybody else hungry? This is killing me.
- 7:20The other thing, too, is the halftime show. I'm really excited
- 7:24about Usher. I think that's gonna be so exciting. I don't know.
- 7:27I know, it's good fodder, it's like fun to talk about, but
- 7:29at the end of the day, it is so at this point, we
- 7:31just accept the fact that it's lip saying the whole time basically yeah, and
- 7:34he's just a good entertainer, and we forget that. I mean, this
- 7:38guy has like the Michael Jackson vibe, goes spinning around dancing. I don't
- 7:42care. I don't need to see a grown what is he fifteen out?
- 7:44I don't need to see a man spinning around like that does nothing for me.
- 7:46I already read a headline that said, no, Taylor Swift will not
- 7:49be performing at the super Bowl, because of course, we all think that
- 7:54she just has that sort of power because her boyfriend is in the game.
- 7:57She's sorry, Usher, like, you know, you can do the period
- 8:00you get to the pregame, Amazon show or whatever. They did, break
- 8:03it all out, and the chances of her being at the Super Bowl are
- 8:05real good, real good? Is that right? Uh? You super Bowl
- 8:09commercial person anymore? Well? Advertisements? No, it never was. I
- 8:13never understood why we get so repped up about commercials. I love it.
- 8:18I just hate now that they usually release everything beforehand through the Internet. You're
- 8:22like, you know the internet, right, Yeah, they drop it on
- 8:24the internet. They drop it on the Internet and start sharing them, and
- 8:28I'm like, don't spoil it, because there are some times where you're just
- 8:31like, this is a great commercial. But I do think that we have
- 8:33our hopes so high for him anymore, Like the bar has been set high,
- 8:39so it would take a lot for you to go, oh, that
- 8:39was actually really good. That they're not as funny anymore because people are sensitive,
- 8:46you know what I did? There used to be like really edgy,
- 8:48offensive super Bowl commercials before we got all soft and woke. I don't remember
- 8:52that time, I guess. I mean the guys on the Budlight commercial going
- 8:58like that really no man? Did did that get them? Yeah? The
- 9:01Frog, the Budweiser, Clydesdale's did upset cry. Sometimes some of them are
- 9:07emotional like that, we're probably due for a good crying one. I feel
- 9:09like they sort of take some years off to let us recover, and then
- 9:13they hit us with another one where a dog dies or something. I don't
- 9:16know, I know, I know, maybe they're not, Maybe they Maybe
- 9:20I am more moved by the commercials. Yeah, I think so, Amanda
- 9:24in the morning on seven. Either way, man, we're gonna have a
- 9:28heck of a weekend. You and I wait, was chatting. We both
- 9:31have a couple kids' birthday parties. Yeah, my daughter got invited really to
- 9:35her first birthday party that isn't a relative or like a neighbor, friend or
- 9:41something. So really excited where she's making these friends I hope not the internet
- 9:45at school? Yeah, on her snapchat at five she's met somebody online.
- 9:48Oh stop it no, Uh that was fun at her take care. I
- 9:52know, I'm really excited about it. She's gonna be just giddy knowing that
- 9:54she's going to this. But it's just crazy that we've already crossed into this
- 10:00new life. It's like new parenting for me. It just feels like when
- 10:03they're young, it's its own thing, but now you're just eventually now you're
- 10:05like full on mom because now you got to start interacting with other moms,
- 10:09right, So what are you going to go to the party. Yeah,
- 10:11I mean, well, she can't drive yet, Pike, so I'm going
- 10:13to bring her there, can't she can't. Nope, she's she's not able
- 10:16to drive yet. Yeah, going to go in and going to go in
- 10:20and then yeah, it'll be two hours of mingling with people. I don't
- 10:22really know which how exciting, I know, just different. Yeah, Now
- 10:28do you get a gift for this five year old? Yeah? That was
- 10:31one of the first questions I asked. I'm like, okay, so what
- 10:33is this. What is your daughter into? It was arts and crafts.
- 10:35I'm like, perfect. It's the nice thing is is when they're around your
- 10:37age, you know. You know sometimes when you have a niece or a
- 10:41nephew that's a little bit older, you're like, gotta go gift card or
- 10:43figure that out. But the only pressure I have right now is kid's birthday
- 10:48is coming up. The end of March. Didn't even cross my mind.
- 10:50Because we have COVID kids, We've never really had a birthday party. Last
- 10:54year, we had a few neighbor friends over because she wanted to meet Raffle
- 10:58style birthday, so we got cupcakes. Not yes, remember Sydney want the
- 11:01five year old. Oh that's right, you weren't here yet. She wanted
- 11:05a spa meat raffle birthday. I'm not kidding you. What have you done?
- 11:09What did I do? She loves a meat raffle, So it was
- 11:13great when people were popping over to our house. It was just a weak
- 11:16night and my neighbor brought her like a thing of steaks and she was just
- 11:20so excited about it. I'm like, this is amazing. That sounds incredible.
- 11:24And now what the birthday party are going to is something less exciting,
- 11:26I'm sure. Uh no, it's gonna be at games galore, Oh for
- 11:30fun. How much are you spending on a five year old's birthday? Because
- 11:33I feel like that's just one of now going to be probably every month.
- 11:35You'll have another birthday party from now until i'd say twenty year under. Yeah,
- 11:41something like that, just a little craft kit something, yeah, because
- 11:43I would never you always to think I would never want to put that pressure
- 11:46on somebody else either. You know, you want to bring a gift because
- 11:48that's the polite thing to do and it's sweet. Yeah. Yeah, Well
- 11:52I got a big birthday party myself. Nephew's turning three, very exciting.
- 11:56What's the theme? Big, big, but no theme? It was sort
- 11:58of a last but Sunday morning is the time frame nine am we're talking,
- 12:03which you know, I imagine for parents it's like great kids are upping at
- 12:07it. Oh my gosh, your sister is a genie before nap time.
- 12:11Now for the childless uncle t T who had a week end to himself that
- 12:16he was not likely going to indulge in Saturday night, and it might be
- 12:20a little more challenging, but we're gonna be there either way because you only
- 12:22turned three once. It's at the YMCA. Are you kidding me? At
- 12:26nine am? Birthday? I love this. It's been a long time time.
- 12:30We used to swim. That was like a ride a passage. Growing
- 12:31up here in Fargham, wore going to the downtown YMCA on the weekend.
- 12:35I don't think I have ever been to the downtown YMCA. No, man,
- 12:39we had some times. I can still picture it, like is yesterday
- 12:43walking in, you check in, then you go down the stairs. I
- 12:46got the locker rooms on the left, the little playroom on the right,
- 12:48where, oh my gosh, id we have some good times. So so
- 12:50are you gonna get in the water. You're gonna play with the kids have
- 12:52fun. Uh, probably not. I don't think. I don't think Uncle
- 12:56Tt and Uncle yo Yo are gonna get wet yoyo. That's our nicknames for
- 13:00the kids. Got it, got it, got the kids for us.
- 13:03No, I don't know. It's been a while. They haven't recently installed
- 13:05like a swim up bar, a cabana at the YMCA pool. Do you
- 13:09know is a full bar? Right? I'm assuming, yeah, full bloody
- 13:13Mary bar and everything for you. Then we'll get Amanda in the morning.
- 13:16I now Amanda Stills. Let's see, let's see, well, I love
- 13:22this Gwen Stefani and No doubt are I guess getting back together for Coachella and
- 13:26you just forget. I mean, they live these lives and then they have
- 13:31a totally different identity. Their parents and Gwen Stefani's ten year old son,
- 13:35Apollo, I guess, came home and right before bad was kind of like,
- 13:39hey, mom, everybody's talking about you guys going to Coachella, and
- 13:41I hear it's like this really big festival. So she had to explain to
- 13:43him that and then she said she had to pull up the Don't Speak video.
- 13:46They were watching it. I'm assuming he's heard No Doubt music before ten
- 13:52years old, and this is the first time she's showing him that, Like
- 13:52if that was me, Lord knows if we have a kid, ever,
- 13:56the amount of time I'm going to spend showing him low standards music videos.
- 13:58I mean, it's gonna be like he's gonna have a memorize as soon as
- 14:01Lauren's pregnant, you're gonna be singing jams and all that stuff to her belly.
- 14:05And then also, I guess she had to explain because she was dating
- 14:09one of the guys in No Doubt at a point in that music video,
- 14:13so I had to point out, like that's Tony. Tony and I were
- 14:16together, daddy, and yeah, exactly before your daddy was with the maid.
- 14:20Oh gosh, I forget about that. Oh the was it the nanny?
- 14:26Sorry nanny? Is it? I don't know, They're two totally different
- 14:28jobs. Yes, people still called our maids a thing house cleaner. Yet
- 14:33I feel like it went the way of janitor. Oh gosh, just out
- 14:37the window, Taylor Swift. You can run, but you can't. What
- 14:41do you mean, Oh gosh, did you used to date a janitor or
- 14:43what a custodian. Thank you, Amanda. Oh yeah, Janitor. Anyway,
- 14:52Taylor Swift, God, you didn't get me like I didn't. Taylor
- 14:58Swift basically one of the Kelsey is. We're getting so much insight now as
- 15:03to how normal she is. People are trying to like blow this up and
- 15:05make it out to be like, oh, yeah, she's a superstar.
- 15:09We get it. But when it comes to her going to these football games,
- 15:11everybody who was in the suite with her after they won the other day,
- 15:16she's just hanging having drinks, party and doing her own thing, really
- 15:20supportive of him. But also when she was going down to the field to
- 15:24greet Travis, she was making sure that Donna and his dad and everybody were
- 15:28there. And I don't know, I'm just I'm here for it. I
- 15:31love it. The haters are gonna hate, but who cares. Well,
- 15:33She's just a normal person, yeh, in this situation, and I think
- 15:37she deserves this. It's just it's hard to imagine as as being really really
- 15:41normal people, you know. But at the end of the day, she's
- 15:43a warm blooded human being who feels the same things we feel and talks about
- 15:46the same things. It's just her job is a little unique. Yeah,
- 15:50and you can totally tell that they really are into each other. And Travis
- 15:54had said like I love you to her, and she whispered, trying,
- 15:58trying so nobody could hear, but they caught it. She says, I've
- 16:00never been so proud of anyone ever. Oh wow, I'm her ex boyfriend.
- 16:04I'm a little offended, okay, And this whole situation has been uncomfortable
- 16:11for me for quite some time. And then when Kanye started posting pictures of
- 16:15his wife Bianca Sensory on social media where she looked like she was just a
- 16:18staged prop, almost like a mannequin, like he's parading her around as though
- 16:23she's I don't even know, like what would it even be? Like a
- 16:27show pony, A little bit like a show pony, if that's still a
- 16:30thing. I think it might have went the way of the janitor. But
- 16:34oh yeah, oh so I know she's very scantily dressed, not a lot
- 16:40going on there, So I don't know. I don't know what he's going
- 16:42for. But so her friends are saying that she used to be super interactive,
- 16:45so she was a model at one point, so she had her own
- 16:48Instagram, probably how he found her, to be honest with you, I
- 16:51don't know their whole entire backstory, but she has completely just dismissed everybody in
- 16:56her life. They kind of feel like she's trapped. They hate the fact
- 17:00that he has just taken her off of social media. He has told her
- 17:03and brainwashed her that she can't be on there because she couldn't handle the negative
- 17:06comments. But nobody would give you negative comments if you weren't posting naked pictures
- 17:11of your girl. No, And I don't know. She doesn't say a
- 17:12word like you said, so I don't know if this is what she wants.
- 17:15And she's enjoying every second of it. And I get if you want
- 17:18to be an ertzy, fertsy kind of guy. Cool. And that's where
- 17:22some people are saying, Oh, it's just art for him. This is
- 17:23a woman who has should have a voice, Like, why are we acting
- 17:26as though she's being captured in a shower captured in the show. You saw
- 17:32the picture where she's just a shower pick. Yes, oh yeah, the
- 17:36shower pick like a man in the morning. On Big Nutty eight point seven.
- 17:42We are in the judgment zone where, yeah, we are we're gonna
- 17:48call her Leanne. Sensitive situation. Her and her husband married eight years,
- 17:52had a little rough patch, as people do, went on a break and
- 17:56she admits to having a one nighter during the break. Now he wants to
- 17:59get even because they want to reconcile, but he said in order to do
- 18:02that, he wants to be able to have a night as well with somebody
- 18:06else. Yeah, And she said they're going to counseling, and she's she's
- 18:10actually leaning more towards like, yeah, go do your thing to make herself
- 18:15feel better. And I like it. I know it sounds crazy, but
- 18:17I think this is pretty much like the last ditch effort. Otherwise it ain't
- 18:19gonna work. Seven on one two eight h one ninety eight seven, Jessica,
- 18:23what do you think? So I had a family member who tried to
- 18:26do this and it did not go well. I tread yeah, tread water
- 18:32very gingerly. Do you know how it got arranged? Like how the whole
- 18:36one not you know, the get even portion of it. How that was
- 18:38It was a long Yeah, it was a long time ago. It was
- 18:41more I mean it it ended up being like turning into an open marriage and
- 18:45then it just kind of didn't work, I mean exploded from there. Yeah,
- 18:51gotcha. Okay, Well, interesting perspective. Thank you, Jessica,
- 18:53yep I big ninety eight point seven. Who's this, hi, Britta?
- 18:56What do you think? What should they do? I think think that regardless
- 19:00of what she did, whether they were on embrace, whether it was a
- 19:03separation, if they thought it wasn't going to work, if he's wanting to
- 19:07level the playing field and get even, they need counseling because it's not an
- 19:12adult relationship at all. Well didn't she say they had started counseling, So
- 19:18maybe that is some good advice, like talk to your counselor about it and
- 19:21hopefully they can nip this in the butt, because there's no way any counselor
- 19:25is going to recommend this. And like I said, I know it's very
- 19:27untraditional, but I feel like it's the options here are it's not going to
- 19:32work, or you try this and it still maybe doesn't work, but at
- 19:34least you tried. That's wrong man, anyway, I just there's something about
- 19:38the whole I have to get even I have to do exactly what you did.
- 19:41That's just not healthy, sure for sure to I mean, I guess
- 19:45like, if you love somebody and you're trying to make it work, you
- 19:48shouldn't want to be engaging with anybody else. Like how uncomfortable your heart should
- 19:52just be with that person exactly, big ninety a point seven. Who's this
- 19:56right? So what do you think? I think this a really bad idea.
- 20:00It didn't work out for Ross and Rachel, so why would it work
- 20:03out for that Rachel spoiler? We also the last episode they end up together.
- 20:08I missed this episode. It was full of drama, and you know
- 20:12what nowadays thinking about like actual health of it, there's pregnancies that could happen,
- 20:19STDs that could happen. It's just a bad idea. Well that idea,
- 20:23it sounds like he's gonna probably do it either way. So this way,
- 20:26if you're involved, you can control the logistics. Stop very pis It
- 20:30could be a very sterile environment. You know she's gonna be there, and
- 20:34then it's a whole nother situation like hey, can I drop you off and
- 20:38pick you up? Honey? I mean no, nope, Do you need
- 20:41to take an uber or should I pick you up? Weird around? Yeah?
- 20:45Well, thank you for the friends reference. I know Amanda is on
- 20:48cultured and doesn't understand it, but beautiful, thank you for And we got
- 20:56a few texts as well. We do. We got somebody saying I believe
- 20:59she should would in fact let him do something, But I don't think she
- 21:02should just you know, let him pick one random girl. Perhaps she should
- 21:06be involved kind of going up. Yeah, that's the compromise and maybe being
- 21:11there if you're picking up what I'm putting down really spicing things up. But
- 21:18there's also a husband chiming in. He says, as a husband, I
- 21:21wouldn't even want to do that. I mean, things happen when you're separated.
- 21:23It's just time to move on, go through the counseling, address your
- 21:26issues. If counseling doesn't work, I guess move towards divorce. If that's
- 21:30how you guys feel. Otherwise, you've worked through it through counseling and that's
- 21:33going to better your relationship. Yeah, I don't know. Does that feel
- 21:37like the best resolution? Well? Yeah, I think like option one would
- 21:41just be to call it. I feel like if you want to try it,
- 21:42it doesn't hurt you. Know, worst case scenario, you just end
- 21:45up divorced. Anyway, I think try it you think. No, no,
- 21:51try it. Just see what happens. I mean, that's fun with
- 21:56it. This isn't like a McDonald tappy meal. Just go grab the toy,
- 22:00have some fun with it. Like no big beyond there you go find
- 22:03some marriage the final judgment in our judgment zone. Have some fun with it.
- 22:07No, it's not my bike. It Amanda in the morning. Come
- 22:11on, get up on, big do my man go a little far with
- 22:15the proposal here. I get that it's all been done. Nothing's original anymore.
- 22:18However, this guy, well, he wanted to propose to the love
- 22:22of his life. Okay, Manda, this just happened. It's gone viral.
- 22:23Him and his fiance now are driving just down the road as you do,
- 22:27when suddenly a person on a motorcycle whips in front of the car and
- 22:33parks it, and another pedestrian who is on the sidewalk approaches the vehicle in
- 22:37an aggressive manner, and they're insisting that the couple of the man in his
- 22:41now fiance get out of the car. They also have a concealed gun.
- 22:45Stop, get out the car, Get out of the car, Get out
- 22:48of the Oh my god, they're freaking out. The guy and the girl,
- 22:51and we were getting carjacked right now. Then another motorcycle approaches. We
- 22:55got a full gang. Now there are five men with bandanas, and so
- 23:00the couple gets out of the car and so the man goes down on one
- 23:03knee while the woman they paw over to him. He dies, not the
- 23:08look on her face is she's horrified, as you might be if you were
- 23:12getting carjacked at gunpoint. Yeah, because mentally I'm about to die, Like
- 23:18there's no getting that out of your mind. So even if there is something
- 23:21so amazing happening to my other side over here, I'm not okay with that.
- 23:26Well, you guess it. Man on his knee pulls out a ring
- 23:30and proposes, and all the men the sticky bandits do they basically kind of
- 23:34like just sort of back off. So they're in on it. It's not
- 23:37just coincidence. Those are the grooms men probably. So what is his what's
- 23:42his thought process here? Well, his thought process he wanted to make it
- 23:45a memorable moment for his lady. And for her part, you can tell
- 23:49she's collecting herselves thinking, oh my god, is this real? And then
- 23:52she says yes obviously because they embrace, But she's doesn't like hit him,
- 23:57or she hits him gap or there's multiple slaps laughing, sort of playful.
- 24:02Yeah, I sort of like, oh my god, I really thought it
- 24:04was gonna die there as you might be. Do you think it's too far?
- 24:07I think it's great. I think that's super original. This is sort
- 24:11of like when you have a real bad dream and then you wake up and
- 24:14you realize it's not real. Like, what a relief. We should all
- 24:17be able to feel such a relief. I mean, I'm not gonna probably
- 24:19say no, but I'm also gonna be super annoyed by the situation. You're
- 24:23really not gonna say no. I mean, come on, are you just
- 24:26jealous? Because, let me guess, Nick probably just what got down on
- 24:27a knee and said will you marry me? Yeah? Well, I was
- 24:30in my gym clothes on a Monday after I brought home the ring. Oh
- 24:34come on, really, did I miss that detail? When you got engaged
- 24:38you brought the ring home? You remember this career? Remind me? Okay,
- 24:44So what ended up happening is after my mom had passed away, I
- 24:47had wanted I had gotten her rings. She had two rings and she had
- 24:51really big hands, So I wasn't able to like take those rings do anything
- 24:56with like there was no transforming it. So that was my goal, like,
- 24:57oh, that would be awesome to have like a sentiment of my mom.
- 25:00So when I went to the ring place to like, hey, what
- 25:03can I do with these? Like can we do this? And they're like,
- 25:06honestly, your best bet is to just trade them in. I'm like
- 25:08okay, and they're like do you like any of these things? I'm like
- 25:11yeah, I guess. So I picked it out and then I brought it
- 25:14home. I'm like, here you go. Cause Nick knew. I mean,
- 25:15that was like the whole plan, but I thought I could create something,
- 25:18you know what I mean, Like it was all with it. You
- 25:19bring your mom's rings into the ring store, they say, well, here's
- 25:22what we can do. We'll take them. What it was just one of
- 25:27those more of like a trade out situation, you know what. Oh good,
- 25:33they didn't just steal them, like oh these are nice ring. Here's
- 25:37what's going to happen. We'll take the rings and you turn around and walk
- 25:41out here. Yeah that's how okay. So it wasn't like a surprise thing,
- 25:45but it was never going to be a surprise I mean, we had
- 25:48talked about it. It was a whole second marriage. Wouldn't have been a
- 25:52little more exciting if there was a gun involved, if he showed up at
- 25:56the jewelry shop and like it was a hecet tree. Now here's what you
- 26:00mean to know. Well, I, for one, was a little nervous.
- 26:04Alex Murda. Of course, he had a murder trial last year,
- 26:08and he was convicted in June of the murders of his wife Maggie and his
- 26:11son Paul. But there was some jury tampering that was going on, and
- 26:15there was a lot of question marks, people going could he maybe get out
- 26:21and have some sort of new trial. Thankfully, yesterday a judge rejected it.
- 26:25But he just he's a one of those guys, kind of a weasel.
- 26:27You're like, is he gonna somehow get released? Like figuring it out?
- 26:32I don't know. I just thought of this murder murder hmmm. Makes
- 26:37you think, Hey, dude, am I the first one to think of
- 26:41that? No? They have a whole Netflix Netflix show called the Murder?
- 26:47Oh yeah, well, I feel like I just come up with it,
- 26:51Bud. I think there might have been a few means too, like murda
- 26:53murder, convicted of third degree murder. Not funny because there's two people.
- 27:00Well, actually even more because there's still a lot of speculation about the random
- 27:07kid who had died. There's well listen, I told you yesterday, I
- 27:10said it out loud that I am very anti death in real life. Don't
- 27:15like it? No one, thank you. Yeah, I don't think a
- 27:17lot of people are. I know some people want to treat it like it's
- 27:18just some true crime podcast. It's real life. These are real times.
- 27:22I really get into it though, Like the Kansas City situation. Still waiting
- 27:26for the autopsy reports. There heep hitting refresh. I know what happened to
- 27:30those frozen guys. I can't blowing my mind. It's true, all right,
- 27:36American Airlines and United having a little fun with the Super Bowl Kansas City
- 27:38direct flights to Vegas have some fun names on the ticket numbers, uh nineteen
- 27:44eighty nine for a little play on Taylor Swift nice AA eighty seven. And
- 27:49then we've got two to eighty seven from Taylor Swift twenty two. And then
- 27:52somebody finally decided we're not even gonna go the Taylor Swift way. We're just
- 27:56gonna do fifteen and eighty seven for Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Fun with
- 28:00numbers. I did see now Taylor Swift fans who are not a part of
- 28:06loving football whatsoever, but they're watching just for her, the best thing I've
- 28:10ever seen. So what do we do for the Super Bowl ladies? And
- 28:12they're saying do we make friendship bracelets? And say eighty seven? Do we
- 28:17have sparkly parties? Do we wear dresses? I mean it's a Taylor's version.
- 28:22I don't know. Girls, Just have fun, do your thing.
- 28:27And the man who pleaded guilty to stealing the ruby red slippers from Judy Garland,
- 28:32I guess the museum night Rock ripped them off of her feet. This
- 28:37animal, there's no place like home. He is only getting a fine,
- 28:44twenty three thousand dollars fine in one year probation. He's not getting locked up
- 28:47for this. No, this has been going on since two thousand and five.
- 28:49Finally yesterday that decided they were going to rule on it. Well,
- 28:53I'm sure is Conscious will eat away out of the rest of his life.
- 28:56That'll be sentenced enough. Where do you think Terry John Art and goes around
- 29:00bragging like I'm the Ruby red slipper guy. Oh absolutely, wouldn't you?
- 29:03No, Yeah, I mean one of the one upsides of committing crime is
- 29:07that you can talk about it the rest of your life. For example,
- 29:10me doing that prank call. You know, a lot of bad things happen,
- 29:12but at the very least I get to talk about it. I guess
- 29:15I don't be bragging about that, though you have a missed ameme, not
- 29:19bragging. At no point am I bragging. It's a crime to prank call
- 29:23somebody, as I've learned. However, you know, so may say,
- 29:26now you're teaching others, that's right, what not to do? It's like
- 29:30somebody who It's like when you get a minor in high school and then you
- 29:34have to go talk to the kids in the elementary school about why they shouldn't
- 29:37drink in high school. I never did, really, really, I didn't
- 29:40know, and I didn't either. I just remember the kids coming in.
- 29:42Really am I like that as a form of punishment, but also sharing your
- 29:48story. Although college was a different story. I had a major in advertising
- 29:52and a minor in consumption. Whoops? Was that better than the murdoing?
- 29:57At least? Yeah? Did I did? Sunny today. Hi you forty
- 30:03r. Nelson Hall caught me red handed. Yeah, anyway, what did
- 30:11they call them? Well, you had your on the dorm floor, you
- 30:15had your what do they call them, ah, the student who lived there.
- 30:18Let's go home monitor. We'll call them the home monitor. So they
- 30:21were there, and then of course you had campus security. If they decided
- 30:25all a thank you, there you go. Yeah. Yeah. So no,
- 30:29if they deem it serious enough, they call the police, and the
- 30:32police come and bada bing baa boom. All right, your grandma sees your
- 30:34name in the newspaper and says, I better not see your name in the
- 30:37newspaper. Wow, this is really triggering. It was quite the experience.
- 30:42Things not to do. I get a man in the morning seven. Well
- 30:47you got a little situation on your hands, don't you. I sure do.
- 30:49So what's going on with your kitchen decord? Well the other day is
- 30:52so we have in our kitchen above the cabinets. It's just a lot of
- 30:57wide open space. It's very open. It's a very white washed space.
- 31:03It is just for my I'm not saying it's good to bad. Some may
- 31:04call it a farmhouse vibe with like the black and white. I take maybe
- 31:08the farm out of it. But my husband is more of like, oh,
- 31:11why don't we put up the deer heads so to be fair, they
- 31:15aren't like the deer heads that have like the fur and everything on them.
- 31:18He's doing the ah, oh yeah, so that sounds nice. He had
- 31:26three of them that he put up on our upper area, probably a year
- 31:30ago, way up above the cabin way, above the cabinets, and I'm
- 31:33like, they've annoyed me, but I just haven't gone up there and taken
- 31:34them down. And so is what what annoys you about? Well, first
- 31:38of all, because they aren't centered the way they should be. There's a
- 31:41tall one that should be in the middle, because if you're going to do
- 31:44three, that's fine, but then you need to have the one that's a
- 31:47little bit wider in the side, just so it evens out. So when
- 31:48he's out in the woods providing for the family, he should really be more
- 31:52conscious of the antlers being absolutely And so this year he was. He shot
- 31:56a deer and he ended up having one that had more of a like a
- 32:00wider thick rack. It was a little bit taller. I got home this
- 32:02weekend and all of a sudden there's five of them in our kitchen. I'm
- 32:07like, what are we doing here? Like I was willing to compromise with
- 32:10three, we think five is too much. Yes, I think you look
- 32:14the photo you posted. Honestly, I think it's a nice little accent to
- 32:15what else, which is otherwise sort of boring got going on? I just
- 32:20I don't know, you know, I got a little surprise for you.
- 32:21I actually have called him. He's on the phone right now. So good
- 32:23morning, air Full, Good morning, Nick, how are you well?
- 32:27Good morning. I understand you you've been sort of redecorating the house, trying
- 32:30to go for the old all on your own. The Woodsman decort, Well,
- 32:34I had a pretty good week down an, I figure I better put
- 32:37them all up the one now. So Amanda is she pushing back about the
- 32:40fact that you want them all up in the kitchen? Whoa, We've been
- 32:44in here, what two and a half three years? There's nothing else up
- 32:46there. But I decided i'd better, you know, kind of make it
- 32:49my own house. Well, I mean you do live there. I imagine
- 32:51you pay part of the bills at least, So okay, I think it's
- 32:53only fair. There's nothing up there because nothing needs to be up there.
- 32:58It's a nice open space. I would nick. I mean, looking at
- 33:00some of the photos and being in your kitchen before, I mean it's very
- 33:04very depressing. Come on, so plain. Here's the thing. Five of
- 33:08them that is aggressive. He had three up for a little while. Now
- 33:13he has five in the kitchen. I mean, well, five is very
- 33:15symmetrical. Looking at the photo of it, I think you're onto somebody with
- 33:19five. I agree. Would you say, historically and you are an Amanda's
- 33:22relationship that generally you're the one conceding things and sort of letting her do things
- 33:28her way. Would you say that's accurate? She tends to get her away
- 33:30quite a bit. Okay, look around her house and tell me if you
- 33:32see any cheetah print. There is not an ounce of cheeta print in her
- 33:37house because you squashed it. I just turned around and saw a blanket.
- 33:43There's all a blanket. Literally, you gotta have one accent to the white
- 33:47walls and the white cabinets and the white counters. Now we have white deerheads,
- 33:53five of them in the kitchen. Deerheads tell a story at least,
- 33:57so do they know you're bland? Eggshell walls? I sit there and I
- 34:04think about all the memories I got. Next up where you have an Iowa
- 34:08state helmet with number forty two up on the No. No, that's a
- 34:13story. Well, what she doesn't know is I have a pheasant that duck.
- 34:16I need to go get it. Point two. I see, I'm
- 34:19gonna hang those from the ceiling. I'm thinking a big bear rug somewhere down
- 34:22the line. Stay strong, Stay strong, brother, I'm with you.
