- 0:01Here's your host, Alex Darren. We are a day and a half away
- 0:06from kickoff in Baltimore between the Kins of the Chiefs and the Ravens. But
- 0:10on one leg up with Alex Garrett, I want to examine something a little
- 0:14darker, if you will, yes, darker. Do you know about the
- 0:19story with Jordan Willis hosting this party with friends and three of them end up
- 0:26dead in the backyard due to freezing cold temperatures because they went out there with
- 0:31no clothes on. Some say these three that died in the and froze to
- 0:37death, I should say in the backyard, Jordan Willis are stupid for having
- 0:42gone out there. We're drunk for having gone out there. But the families
- 0:46of David Harrington, Ricky Johnson, and Clayton mcguiney are and Clayton mcgheey are
- 0:51asking for answers. And the amazing thing to me about this is the fact
- 1:00that the Kissity Police Department has firstly not ruled this any kind of homicidal possibility,
- 1:10that three men froze in the backyard of Jordan Willis, and there's no
- 1:17investigation or suspicion, even though Willis went to sleep for forty eight hours,
- 1:23according to his defense attorney. The man who's getting answers for this might surprise
- 1:27you. On NewsNation, A council Perserno, it's good to have you again.
- 1:33This is not new criticism for you, but I do want you to
- 1:34clear it up for the audience. That's right, Chris Cuomo, the guy
- 1:38who was disgraced from CNN, and of course might have helped his brother along
- 1:42during his brother's trouble in the governorship. Governor Andrew Cuomo asking the tough questions
- 1:49to Jordan Willis's defense attorney, let's listen to this. There is a suggestion
- 1:53that there have been inconsistent statements from your client, through you and by him.
- 2:00How So one either he went to sleep and doesn't know what happened after
- 2:05he went to sleep, or he remembers them saying they were leaving and watching
- 2:08them leave. Which is it. It's the latter, and I'm glad that
- 2:15other people caught my typo, and i apologize. The initial press statement was
- 2:19actually read by three different people when I missed it. And then the very
- 2:22first paragraph, there's one sentence that says he does nor does he know how
- 2:25or when they exited his house? And then a few sentences later it specifically
- 2:30says the last time he saw them was when they left his house and he
- 2:34went to sleep on the couch. So obviously those two statements are inconsistent.
- 2:38Those two things could not have happened. That was pilot era. What is
- 2:42in there at the end is what Jordan told me, and I think at
- 2:46the time I used the word bed, which was an inartful way for me
- 2:50to say he went to sleep. I think I said he went to bed,
- 2:52which wasn't true either. So so either defense team is lying out its
- 3:00ass or or mister Will has to get a better defense team because the rationale
- 3:07behind these three people just freezing to death and the homeowner willis not knowing makes
- 3:15no sense and it may not happen by kickoff, But please, can we
- 3:20get answers, can study police department? Can you speed up the toxicology report.
- 3:25I don't know, do something, because the families that we're calling on
- 3:30welfare checks to the house of Jordan willis the families, the fathers, the
- 3:35mothers, all of them of these three men are very very concerned about what
- 3:40happened to their family, their son, to their fiancee, perhaps their brother.
- 3:49They want answers, and I think the Kinsadia Police Department is owed those
- 3:54answers. I'm tired of hearing the Jordan Willis defense because I don't we saw
- 4:00in the New York Post big windows. This home has big windows. There's
- 4:03no way Jordan Willis didn't see his friends freezing to death out there. And
- 4:11then this story really caught fire when there were speculations by the family members.
- 4:18One of the victim's fathers says, hey, maybe Jordan Willis drugged my son
- 4:25to the point where he went out there with freezing in freezing cold temperatures with
- 4:30nothing on shirt wise, and then you have others speculating that John Willis was
- 4:41caught or they had seen something they shouldn't have at Jordan Willis's home, and
- 4:45he's had to get rid of him. And then Wellis's father himself had to
- 4:49come to the aid of his son, saying there was nothing wrong. But
- 4:54after the whiffle, the waffling of this defense, and by the way,
- 4:59having been around Arthur Ideala Imron and yes, Mario Galucci Imoran, I'm sorry
- 5:04from aby kelat Mario Galucci working with him. The legal side of things is
- 5:11really intriguing me in this story, especially because I don't think the defense is
- 5:15doing any good for Jordan Willis. It's making him look even more implicated than
- 5:23they want him to be. Don't you think noise casele infones falling asleep for
- 5:28two hours for two days doesn't make sense to me? And it's concerning that
- 5:35the police department isn't ruling this a possible homicide. I think it is.
- 5:41We've got to get to the facts of this to ease the concerns of the
- 5:44family members at the very least, uh and get them answers. There will
- 5:48never get closure from this, believe me, but just to know might help
- 5:56them and might feel like someone's on their side and listening to them, because
- 6:00the defense attorney's not doing any favors for anybody as far as like it's own
- 6:05based on the stuff he's been saying since this all went down in early January.
- 6:14Now to the game itself, To the game itself as we look for
- 6:20justice for these three that were frozen to death in a backyard in Kansas City,
- 6:28to the game itself. I talked with Lou Terminel about it on one
- 6:30lay up on sports and Lou I had this to say this week Kansas City
- 6:34at at Baltimore. Baltimore has, in my opinion, has a better team
- 6:41right now than Kansas City. But I'm not going against Patrick Mahomes until somebody
- 6:46beats them. Well, hopefully maybe they play these games well, Lou.
- 6:51Hopefully tomorrow they're a little more fired up. But maybe they play in honor
- 6:56of these three that were frozen to death in a back yard in Kansas City.
- 7:01And we get answers for these grieving families because that's what they deserve,
- 7:09and the Kansady Police Department deserves to be held accountable. And by the way,
- 7:13I wouldn't mind the Chiefs lines way to end the season because that's where
- 7:19it all started in Kansas City in September, isn't it, and the line
- 7:25surprised and then imagine shocking on a bigger stage. Hey, it's football.
- 7:30Anything can happen. But I'd like these families, even if it's before kickoff,
- 7:36that'd be great to have some answers because they deserve it. And Jordan
- 7:43Willis is indeed culpable. Let's put the facts out there and hold them accountable.
