- 0:00Speaker 1: What's saying that your boy Fredo bang be Me's in
- 0:02Speaker 1: Moon Rock Raader. I'm like, maybe the scared name of
- 0:04Speaker 1: me ain't telling the money'll make no since speaking catch
- 0:06Speaker 1: me on a bootleg kill partcad let go What the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Butleg Cap Podcasts Special guest.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Let's get his mic right? My guy Fredo bang is
- 0:22Speaker 2: back on the show. Finally. It's been a while, man,
- 0:24Speaker 2: been a couple of years. Good to see you, bro, Yeah,
- 0:27Speaker 2: been a little bit. Ah, yeah it was. I think
- 0:29Speaker 2: the last time you're on the pod, it was like
- 0:31Speaker 2: it was definitely two years ago, at least it was.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I think it was right maybe like a few months
- 0:34Speaker 2: before you got locked up. The last time two years ago.
- 0:37Speaker 2: So yeah, what's up? How's how's everything? Man? Getting ready
- 0:40Speaker 2: for the new project? Yeah, yes, I'm sad.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yeah, So what I'm saying explain so well? Basically, uh,
- 0:49Speaker 1: there's two reasons why I named it. That all the
- 0:51Speaker 1: music that's on this project I made when I was
- 0:54Speaker 1: going through a real rough time my life last since
- 0:57Speaker 1: I've been out of jail. And also it's basically like
- 1:01Speaker 1: it's like an iron and things like basically showing you, okay,
- 1:04Speaker 1: we can make regular music. And be sad as hell. Yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Also, thank you for that, because I feel like I'm
- 1:11Speaker 2: tired of just like I just feel like hip hop
- 1:14Speaker 2: needs to be a little more vulnerable, be a little
- 1:17Speaker 2: more honest, you know what I mean. So when you
- 1:21Speaker 2: say because because because it takes first of all, to
- 1:23Speaker 2: name your album, that that's a big that's a brave
- 1:26Speaker 2: thing to do. You know what I'm saying. Were you
- 1:28Speaker 2: going back and forth about doing it because to be
- 1:30Speaker 2: like that vulnerable publicly, you know, and and you're kind
- 1:32Speaker 2: of seeing as like a quote unquote gangster rapper.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. It was either that I
- 1:41Speaker 1: forgot what the other name was. I forgot what the
- 1:45Speaker 1: other name was, but it was namely that what was.
- 1:48Speaker 2: What about the last couple of years had you in
- 1:51Speaker 2: a little place.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It was just going to jail for nothing? And when
- 1:56Speaker 1: I went to jail, you know, I was at the
- 1:57Speaker 1: top of my career.
- 1:58Speaker 2: For sure.
- 1:59Speaker 1: It's slowed me down. I had the refund shows, I
- 2:03Speaker 1: had the just basically like I had just restart everything
- 2:08Speaker 1: on some you know what I'm saying, Because you lose
- 2:09Speaker 1: your you know, it's like you lose that that flow,
- 2:13Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, So just redoing that. And
- 2:16Speaker 1: then I had label problems with my main with my
- 2:19Speaker 1: independent label, so I couldn't put out no projects. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: haven't put out a project in fourteen months.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I was gonna say it's been a minute, it's at
- 2:25Speaker 2: least a year.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah, But it's not my fault.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So it's just so because for people who don't know
- 2:31Speaker 2: your well, I don't know if you still are you
- 2:33Speaker 2: still on deaf Jam? Yeah? Okay? So you had a
- 2:37Speaker 2: label that that deal was through, like your OG label
- 2:40Speaker 2: right from is that from Baton Rouge? Nah? Okay, but
- 2:43Speaker 2: just like an independent label that yeah. So because rich
- 2:46Speaker 2: HOMEI Kwan went through something similar with t Ig where
- 2:50Speaker 2: they prevented him from releasing music for years, right, So
- 2:55Speaker 2: what was what was the disagreement and how did it
- 2:59Speaker 2: end up getting.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Basically, they had a legal situation with a third another
- 3:07Speaker 1: party that kept them back from handling business with me properly,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and so it just was tied up, crisscrossed and just
- 3:16Speaker 1: just deep bringing the worse and worse, you know what
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm saying, And we just couldn't settled it for a while.
- 3:23Speaker 2: What ended up being the resolution, like what was the
- 3:25Speaker 2: typical I.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Want to get too too deep, But like I say,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't fault them all the way because it happens
- 3:34Speaker 1: right people you know don't like you said something. Just
- 3:39Speaker 1: my biggest thing was I felt like like they helped
- 3:43Speaker 1: me get to where I am. I wouldn't be where
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm at without them. But I feel like as the artist,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I am the initiatives that I take as much as
- 3:50Speaker 1: work I put in on half of both of us.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I feel like, you know what I'm saying. Sometimes you
- 3:56Speaker 1: got to swallow a pill for me, you feel me
- 3:58Speaker 1: because I do the same for you. So I just
- 4:01Speaker 1: feel like what I was going through I shouldn't been
- 4:03Speaker 1: going through even for that loan, right, I should feel
- 4:06Speaker 1: like she immediately got fixed.
- 4:08Speaker 2: What would be advice because we've seen recently similar situations
- 4:12Speaker 2: like Megan and fifteen oh one I think it was
- 4:15Speaker 2: fifteen oh one and Carl Crawford, they went through it.
- 4:17Speaker 2: If you're a young up and coming artist, sometimes people
- 4:23Speaker 2: can come into your life and, like you said, make
- 4:26Speaker 2: things possible for you right when you don't got nothing.
- 4:28Speaker 2: So you're just like, hey, let's do it. But is
- 4:30Speaker 2: there any sort of things people should look out for
- 4:32Speaker 2: or things people should do to kind of protect themselves
- 4:35Speaker 2: from getting into a situation where that you've that you
- 4:38Speaker 2: kind of like learned from this situation.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, no matter what you do and precautions
- 4:43Speaker 1: that you take, how the music industry is set up,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and it's not because of just the labels, it's just
- 4:49Speaker 1: how it should be going. It's so easy for us
- 4:52Speaker 1: all just to get fucked out of running like it's
- 4:55Speaker 1: just playing stuff. It's just easy, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It's not set in law. That just had has to happen.
- 5:00Speaker 1: That has to happen sometimes, like with l ods. I
- 5:04Speaker 1: even got l d's that's something to everybody. Get letter
- 5:07Speaker 1: of direction, letter dis and make sure what's old to
- 5:09Speaker 1: you get paid to you, and what's good old to
- 5:12Speaker 1: everybody else go to them so nobody get it. Collect
- 5:14Speaker 1: from somebody money and they got to wait for them
- 5:16Speaker 1: to pay them. I got those, but my ship still
- 5:19Speaker 1: messed up to it. It couldn't get put in and fixed.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So for people who don't know what a letter direction is,
- 5:25Speaker 2: it could be I'm not like a music lawyer. It's
- 5:29Speaker 2: just a sign document saying that it's it's also how
- 5:32Speaker 2: you can distribute masters too. Like so for.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Example, let's says, let's say you put an album out right,
- 5:39Speaker 1: your or like your l O.
- 5:40Speaker 2: D's would be sent to death Jam. So depth Jam
- 5:44Speaker 2: knows who to pay before it hits like yeah, someone
- 5:47Speaker 2: else's pockets and you got to depend on that person
- 5:49Speaker 2: to do right by you.
- 5:51Speaker 1: See, this is the thing, like, it's depth Jam is
- 5:55Speaker 1: the publishing side being out because it's so many different
- 5:57Speaker 1: sides of the music. You know what, the right side.
- 6:00Speaker 1: We got the vilager side, so that's too. Right there,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you got death Jam, you got the people who collect
- 6:04Speaker 1: the pub they got the police, people who may collect
- 6:08Speaker 1: YouTube separately. They got motherfucking sound exchange, all of it.
- 6:13Speaker 2: It's just a lot, bro. So who do you depend
- 6:15Speaker 2: on because people I see people getting take advantage on
- 6:18Speaker 2: by lawyers too, Like you also got to kind of
- 6:19Speaker 2: make sure you got you hire the right lawyer.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I don't went through that too, because I don't had lawyers.
- 6:23Speaker 1: They don't even do shit, and then.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And they get a cut for nothing. It's like, hey,
- 6:27Speaker 2: you know, I could have probably just googled this contract online.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I mean it seems like, I mean, most people don't
- 6:34Speaker 2: know about the things we're speaking about most artists, So
- 6:38Speaker 2: for you, you kind of had to go through it
- 6:40Speaker 2: to be like.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I mean, that's sometime. Really it was all just learned
- 6:44Speaker 1: because like I'm savage to shit. You feel me, and
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm the type of person where I read shit three
- 6:48Speaker 1: full times. Like all my contracts I looked at, I
- 6:51Speaker 1: go over. I waited til our sign them. You know
- 6:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But sometimes you just don't fullip. You
- 6:56Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, understand until you go through it.
- 6:58Speaker 1: You feel me and then you learn and the next
- 7:00Speaker 1: go round is wrong. You get it right?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Would you say you're happy with Depth Jams so far?
- 7:05Speaker 1: H I'm happy in my position. Yeah, I feel like
- 7:10Speaker 1: there's always to be better. I can't follow death Jam
- 7:13Speaker 1: for a lot of things because they are for want
- 7:16Speaker 1: their legendary label. What comes with that though, is an
- 7:21Speaker 1: old horse. Oh yeah, you feel me, and I'm a
- 7:25Speaker 1: very new horse. Sometimes it's very hard for those old
- 7:31Speaker 1: horses to break habits, old habits. You gee what I'm saying. Also,
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's a bunch of new people stated comeing in.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Well, that's what I was gonna say. Since you've been
- 7:45Speaker 2: signed to Death Jam, there's been regime changes at the LAB.
- 7:49Speaker 1: We had like three different presidents.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Right, and that I always feel like, if let's say
- 7:54Speaker 2: the president who is there when you're signed, they're gonna
- 7:58Speaker 2: be the most excited about you because they're responsible for
- 8:01Speaker 2: your signing, right, or the an R whoever, whoever brought
- 8:04Speaker 2: you into depth jam right. Once they leave, it's up
- 8:08Speaker 2: in the air whether or not the person who replaces him.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Paulsberg one who brought me in A side shout out
- 8:14Speaker 1: to Paul Eminem's manager Goliath Entertainment a legend.
- 8:18Speaker 2: But it always, like I see it happen all the
- 8:20Speaker 2: time where somebody will get brought into a label situation
- 8:23Speaker 2: and then wants their whole squad that brought them in
- 8:26Speaker 2: leaves and goes through a different label, and then there's
- 8:27Speaker 2: a whole new people and then they're not as enthusiastic
- 8:30Speaker 2: about it or they don't understand it as well.
- 8:33Speaker 1: The good thing with me is and shout out to
- 8:36Speaker 1: the president like tounge of that right now, great guy,
- 8:39Speaker 1: and he'll very understanding.
- 8:41Speaker 2: He fort of orders like one hundred percent. He's solid
- 8:43Speaker 2: about aside as they come.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And it's hard coming in trying to fix it everything
- 8:47Speaker 1: for sure. Uh. The thing with me is, I'm pretty
- 8:54Speaker 1: different from a lot of orders. I don't wait on
- 8:56Speaker 1: the label to cut the chick to go get the video.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You just handle it.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I handle it and I wait to get it later.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So and then you'll you'll file like a reimbursement right
- 9:07Speaker 1: so out the gate, I'm productive.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 1: For two, I'm very budget savvy, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm not going fucking to go get a fifty thousand
- 9:19Speaker 1: dollars video that I don't need because you can spend
- 9:21Speaker 1: and I don't and I don't feel like it's gonna
- 9:23Speaker 1: make back, you know what I'm saying. And I have
- 9:25Speaker 1: projects that are in the green already.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Which nobody has right on major label systems. It's very tan.
- 9:32Speaker 1: If I could, if I can push, I can pushed
- 9:35Speaker 1: out with three four certifications, a bunch of chartings with depth,
- 9:38Speaker 1: jail with three different presidents and all this stuff going on.
- 9:41Speaker 2: What if everything was consistent.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Right, so everybody knows my work, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:46Speaker 2: That's interesting, Yeah, because for people who don't know, like
- 9:50Speaker 2: if you're an artist, I think a lot of times.
- 9:53Speaker 1: And I'm want of the top streamers over there. You
- 9:55Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, No shit.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I want to shot you out too, because I think
- 9:58Speaker 2: you're in a good position to depth because right now,
- 10:02Speaker 2: deaf Jam needs a star they don't have, like YG
- 10:08Speaker 2: left Big Sean's like mid cycle, Like you know, I
- 10:12Speaker 2: know Benny the Butcher's about to drop his album, but
- 10:14Speaker 2: like I feel like deaf Jam, like you're the young
- 10:17Speaker 2: star on the label now, which can only help you
- 10:19Speaker 2: because they need it, Like they really like that. It's
- 10:21Speaker 2: kind of cold over there. You know what I'm saying
- 10:23Speaker 2: in terms of like when you compare them to like
- 10:25Speaker 2: Republic or you compare them to Interscope or you know
- 10:27Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Capital or RCA. But it's funny you
- 10:31Speaker 2: say that your budget savvy, because you know, I always
- 10:34Speaker 2: tell artists because I have a recording studio, so I
- 10:37Speaker 2: was a artists, like, hey, I got the big studio
- 10:40Speaker 2: vocal chain and it's seventy dollars an hour.
- 10:44Speaker 1: But that's fine, seventy an hour with an engineer. But
- 10:48Speaker 1: but don't give me the label invoice shit.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Pay for the studio otherwise they're gonna send you to
- 10:54Speaker 2: a paramount where they're gonna send you to like, you know,
- 10:57Speaker 2: one of these big and it's two fifty an hour engineer.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I do pay. I do pay sometimes all the time.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I will. I won't is if I'm locking in for
- 11:07Speaker 1: like two three weeks and I got folks.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Sometimes That's what I'm saying. People, people you know thise
- 11:11Speaker 2: people will come to LA and they'll stay in the
- 11:12Speaker 2: studio for like a week straight and I'm like, bro,
- 11:15Speaker 2: you know how much that week cost you? And you're
- 11:18Speaker 2: over here ordering fucking Boston Nova.
- 11:23Speaker 1: When it comes to me bringing full five producers in flight.
- 11:27Speaker 1: So it's a lot more money involved. So just so
- 11:29Speaker 1: they know I'm not on some trying to eat it
- 11:31Speaker 1: at my budget type because some some weird people do that.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And I don't know why they do that, because you're
- 11:35Speaker 1: just taking money that you got to pay back.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Well, those artists they live off advances, they don't. That's
- 11:41Speaker 2: there's a lot of artists I know who they're like,
- 11:43Speaker 2: hey man, they give you get that advance and you
- 11:45Speaker 2: don't ever think you're going to see another Red Scent
- 11:46Speaker 2: off that album. So it's like I got to get
- 11:49Speaker 2: the next album, turn it in. Is I get my
- 11:51Speaker 2: you know, half a million or whatever? It is that's
- 11:54Speaker 2: that's dope you got. You got a bunch of music
- 11:56Speaker 2: in the green because that's not a common practice with
- 11:58Speaker 2: a lot of young artists because they that budget off.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I mean, and it's hard the custo. It was a
- 12:03Speaker 1: very hard to get in the green, Like your music
- 12:05Speaker 1: got have to do good and your budget has to
- 12:08Speaker 1: be low to getting the green fast.
- 12:10Speaker 2: What was something that you were able to like do
- 12:14Speaker 2: to kind of get out of the funk you were
- 12:15Speaker 2: in because you had so much momentum and you still
- 12:19Speaker 2: I mean, look, it's not like you don't have momentum.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just but you you had.
- 12:23Speaker 2: It was on the radio everywhere.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I'd be wanting more out myself, you know. But I'm saying, like,
- 12:27Speaker 1: how were you able to put yourself out of that
- 12:28Speaker 1: and just kind of like did it kind of like
- 12:31Speaker 1: make you hungrier? Like you get out of jail, are
- 12:33Speaker 1: you like super fucking laser focused or you just a
- 12:36Speaker 1: little discouraged? The first So when I got out of jail,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I had to go through a process of the rest
- 12:42Speaker 1: of my papers. So at first they wouldn't let me
- 12:45Speaker 1: go back home to my house. I was about had
- 12:46Speaker 1: to get a new house, so it was just in
- 12:48Speaker 1: Florida or Florida. They wouldn't let me go back at first.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So it's just there's so many things that I had
- 12:53Speaker 1: to go through, so my mind wasn't always focused, and
- 12:58Speaker 1: like I said, I forgot my rhythm. So now I'm
- 13:00Speaker 1: trying to fix it. I'm taking so long to try
- 13:02Speaker 1: to fix the labor issue. Right, I'm not focused on
- 13:04Speaker 1: getting my music out by any means necessary, you know
- 13:07Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And so it's just I wouldn't focus
- 13:12Speaker 1: and right now, and when you do get off focused,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you gotta find that confidence again because you feel me like,
- 13:18Speaker 1: that's when you can't realize.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's almost like when you're a basketball player and that
- 13:21Speaker 2: shots not going in. You just got to shoot yourself out.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Of the funk, right right, And so then that's when
- 13:25Speaker 1: the comments start getting to you. To that's when it
- 13:28Speaker 1: started sucking with you know what I'm saying.
- 13:29Speaker 2: So do you find yourself reading comments?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yeah? I read it. I watched it.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I watch everything. You gotta stop no, stop reading.
- 13:37Speaker 1: The reason why I don't it's because I want that
- 13:40Speaker 1: good up at.
- 13:41Speaker 2: You know what it is? Though you got here doing
- 13:45Speaker 2: you apologetically, what's going to happen is you spend too
- 13:50Speaker 2: much time reading the comments. Even if you don't think
- 13:52Speaker 2: it's affecting you subconsciously, it's affecting you subconsciously. You're thinking that.
- 13:58Speaker 2: One brother, you got to understand the type of human
- 14:01Speaker 2: beings that leave comments on YouTube videos and like these
- 14:05Speaker 2: posts like imagine sick flex. He said, Man, this shit
- 14:11Speaker 2: heavy hurt no, but imagine Like I always tell this
- 14:16Speaker 2: to people, like you know, because like I have a
- 14:18Speaker 2: YouTube channel and sometimes I'll get stuck reading the comments
- 14:21Speaker 2: and I'll be like, damn, someone left a paragraph under
- 14:23Speaker 2: this video they took three five minutes out of their
- 14:27Speaker 2: day to comment on a stranger's piece of content, something negative,
- 14:32Speaker 2: like imagine like how fucked up in your day's got
- 14:34Speaker 2: to be? Or your life gotta be.
- 14:36Speaker 1: It'll be sometimes it can be like it would be
- 14:38Speaker 1: the troll, but it'll be funny to me and sometimes
- 14:40Speaker 1: right number day, sometimes it make me mad. You know
- 14:42Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 14:42Speaker 2: It just yeah, like if I if something ever comes
- 14:44Speaker 2: across my Twitter timeline that's negative, I just retweet it, yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 2: because I don't give a fuck. I just like, shit,
- 14:51Speaker 2: you don't let the comments get to you, bro. I
- 14:53Speaker 2: would stop reading them on that ain't good for your health.
- 14:56Speaker 1: What is it good for you? Day, mushroom? I got
- 15:00Speaker 1: a lots a mental This is the mental drugs.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It'll help you. Yeah, I mean are you still on papers?
- 15:06Speaker 2: Oh you're not?
- 15:07Speaker 1: I finally good?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Good congratulations man, congrats. Yeah that's gotta feel like.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that was like I said, that was another process
- 15:16Speaker 1: I was going to.
- 15:17Speaker 2: So now that you're not on probation, it's almost.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Like I can go out to the country and everything.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You could do what you want now man, and like
- 15:23Speaker 2: leave that whole part of your life just in the
- 15:25Speaker 2: rear view mirror, like you know what I'm saying, Like
- 15:28Speaker 2: there's other bags to get now. Now you could go
- 15:31Speaker 2: Is there a country that I want to?
- 15:32Speaker 1: Bahamas? And got my first of the country chip, How
- 15:35Speaker 1: was it? It was beautiful? I love them Bahamas. I'll
- 15:38Speaker 1: get a house out.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Though, Yeah for sure. Now you just gotta like travel
- 15:42Speaker 2: for fun. Hey, I got a week off I'm gonna
- 15:44Speaker 2: take I'm gonna go.
- 15:45Speaker 1: See that's the thing, like fun and don't really exist
- 15:47Speaker 1: in my life right now because I'm rind album.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Yeah feel yeah, Well, once the album's out, once you
- 15:53Speaker 2: once the videos dropped the singles are out.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be happening to I just get into
- 15:59Speaker 1: a groove that is ways just more less stressful as
- 16:03Speaker 1: far as like it's just gonna do good. You know
- 16:05Speaker 1: what I'm saying. For sure, until I get back into
- 16:07Speaker 1: that group too, I feel like I can't. I feel
- 16:10Speaker 1: like I can't miss Yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well I think too. Like another thing is like nowadays,
- 16:15Speaker 2: just because something doesn't hit the way you thought it
- 16:18Speaker 2: was gonna hit, just keep going.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah, because a lot of times we put out shit
- 16:23Speaker 1: and then it ketch up later on, like Trust Issues
- 16:25Speaker 1: is gold not right? When I first put that out,
- 16:27Speaker 1: it had like seventy thousands viewsed the first week, and.
- 16:30Speaker 2: You were probably like, damn, I thought that brother the
- 16:33Speaker 2: Jid song with twenty one Savage the Round Sound, that
- 16:36Speaker 2: song as a year and a half old, real Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 2: the Ceiling Challenge song. Yeah, that song is from early
- 16:43Speaker 2: last year or no, early twenty twenty two, and it
- 16:48Speaker 2: popped up again in twenty twenty three because of TikTok.
- 16:52Speaker 1: That's how UBI doing it would be go viral on
- 16:53Speaker 1: TikTok or something.
- 16:54Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, like you never know, like just
- 16:57Speaker 2: and then also like you're you're you're smart to understand
- 17:00Speaker 2: like catalog like matters. So it's like, hey, you know,
- 17:04Speaker 2: whatever you put out, it just it's just gonna add
- 17:06Speaker 2: to the catalog. Speaking of catalog, would you ever see
- 17:09Speaker 2: yourself in a position one day to like a lot
- 17:11Speaker 2: of people are selling their catalog, selling their pub I
- 17:14Speaker 2: don't think you're there yet, but like let's say five.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Off off my pub a thousand times.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Oh you have not interested?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Real I was liking my chicks. Yeah, now they come
- 17:26Speaker 1: with something just outrageous, and then it doesn't have nothing
- 17:29Speaker 1: to do with the music I'm making for it. Maybe
- 17:32Speaker 1: it just it just depends on you know what I'm saying,
- 17:35Speaker 1: because pub mostly uh includes like radio and stuff. Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: so you gotta think.
- 17:40Speaker 2: And tops still getting paid all right.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Now, if I get to the point where I feel like, Okay,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't juice to ship do songs as much as
- 17:47Speaker 1: I can on radio and stuff, let me go ahead
- 17:49Speaker 1: and move forward, you know what I'm saying, Then.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I tend to say for you, like somebody who is
- 17:55Speaker 2: like kind of was broken like on YouTube and the
- 17:57Speaker 2: streaming world, how important because you you had a radio hit,
- 18:02Speaker 2: which is not a lot of people have had in
- 18:03Speaker 2: your position because they're streaming success and then once you
- 18:06Speaker 2: get a radio hit, it's just a little different.
- 18:08Speaker 1: A lot of radio nice, nice radio play, a lot
- 18:10Speaker 1: of radio support.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I was gonna say, like, when you get one of
- 18:13Speaker 2: them ones that like it is like a top ten
- 18:15Speaker 2: at urban, you know what I'm saying. And I think
- 18:18Speaker 2: I think, uh top was Top twenty.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Rhythm it got it got top fifteen, yeah, I think urban,
- 18:24Speaker 1: and I think maybe toe in one.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, rh yeah. But when you get one of those,
- 18:29Speaker 2: like that's got to feel good, like getting.
- 18:31Speaker 1: The first time ever feeling like a real rapper, right.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Because then you're doing you're going around. You gotta go
- 18:35Speaker 2: see the every every city, you gotta go see the DJ,
- 18:38Speaker 2: you gotta go program director.
- 18:39Speaker 1: All the time, it was just I'm I'm a numbers person,
- 18:42Speaker 1: so I'm I'm the artist that I have my autists
- 18:45Speaker 1: access to every single outlet of my music, so I
- 18:49Speaker 1: know exactly what my music doing in every different spot
- 18:52Speaker 1: if you got the numbers. So when Top came out,
- 18:54Speaker 1: and it should just like oh different said, so this
- 18:59Speaker 1: is what a radio looks like. The pub a whole
- 19:03Speaker 1: different way, all type.
- 19:05Speaker 2: So who do you got on this album?
- 19:07Speaker 1: I got Rick Ross, I got Rob for a.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Nine shot to Rob, A great guy.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I told a lot of people about Robb before he
- 19:14Speaker 1: popped off. Uh treated, I got Kevin Gates.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Gates, Hey Badridge legend. Ye have you hung out with
- 19:27Speaker 2: him yet?
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:28Speaker 2: He's a very interesting person. He's interesting man, but he
- 19:32Speaker 2: in the best way possible. I feel like he's so
- 19:34Speaker 2: like spiritually awoken. Now you'd just be hanging out with it,
- 19:37Speaker 2: but he just just he just got energy pouring out
- 19:39Speaker 2: of him, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I like to catch his shows that I can just
- 19:42Speaker 1: to get because his shows have a good energy. His
- 19:45Speaker 1: live shows are crazy homies jumping around and I feel
- 19:50Speaker 1: like he's just doing burpies his whole set.
- 19:51Speaker 2: That motherfuckers and so he's he's like ripped now and
- 19:54Speaker 2: ship we're doing a show with him. I gotta drive
- 19:57Speaker 2: to Phoenix tonight because the station on out there is
- 20:00Speaker 2: like it's like our big radio show and he's headlining.
- 20:03Speaker 2: So I'm looking forward to his set. Shout out to
- 20:05Speaker 2: Kevin Gates.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I think I've seen that fly. I got a couple
- 20:09Speaker 1: more people on that art.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a pretty random show. But it's Kevin Gates,
- 20:12Speaker 2: Tech nine, Young Nudy, Yeah yeah, Johanne.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Lucas, Oh yeah, I see, I've seen that.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Uh give me the dynamic between rob four Nines obviously
- 20:25Speaker 2: from uh from New Orleans, obviously, Baton Rouge New Orleans.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I feel like historically the vibes have been different musically
- 20:33Speaker 2: because it's two different worlds, two different worlds, two different places.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I've never I've only driven through Baton and Ruge, never
- 20:38Speaker 2: hung out. I've hung out in New Orleans a couple
- 20:40Speaker 2: of times. What is the relationship between the two places today?
- 20:45Speaker 2: And you know, I think it's dope to see you
- 20:47Speaker 2: guys working together, but like I feel like there should
- 20:49Speaker 2: be more like you know, pollination of the of everybody
- 20:53Speaker 2: kind of rocking with each other, you know what I'm saying.
- 20:57Speaker 1: So Louisiana is a real crab crab and buck bucket
- 21:00Speaker 1: type of place. So Bandon Ridge, New Orleans, we always
- 21:05Speaker 1: like had weird right, It's like it's like it's like
- 21:10Speaker 1: not a Seers rivalry, but it's like when Katrina happened
- 21:16Speaker 1: in New Orleans, came to Badon Roods and people's living
- 21:18Speaker 1: out like about fighting giving each other all types of stuff.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You feel me, It's just two different worlds. I think
- 21:25Speaker 1: New Orleans is more Uh, has a more variety of
- 21:29Speaker 1: cultures that influence them. Uh, but that's because it's it's
- 21:34Speaker 1: it's been a port. It's a bigger city. Yeah, you
- 21:37Speaker 1: fear meta. It's a trade city, so you always have
- 21:41Speaker 1: people coming in, coming out and influencing them. You know
- 21:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying. That's why they have more cultural stuff
- 21:47Speaker 1: than us. You feel me, that's fair. I thought what
- 21:51Speaker 1: I thought was dope was like the second line we
- 21:53Speaker 1: don't say line interesting. Yeah, you feel me like it's
- 21:57Speaker 1: just different stuff.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I I need to go hang out in bad Rooge.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Uh, it's really ain't nothing to matter.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Food. I say, the food I was invited to do. Like,
- 22:08Speaker 2: is it crawfish season? Crawall, No, there's somebody had told
- 22:13Speaker 2: me to go out there with him. Uh, there's like
- 22:16Speaker 2: a season in which you like can hunt crawfish out there,
- 22:19Speaker 2: like they're out and you just grab like raw crawfish everywhere.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You do that and random pawn.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Yeah. My thing is I don't like crawfish like that.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I like the meat, but I don't like the motherfuckers
- 22:29Speaker 2: sucking the heads off the ship. Pause, big paws, big
- 22:32Speaker 2: super back to back paw. I mean do you like crawfish?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Absolutely, yeah, Yeah, I don't know man very like like
- 22:42Speaker 2: you said, they're in ponds.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Like yeah, like you can go grab like a certain
- 22:46Speaker 1: times you can go grab a h crawfish out of ditch.
- 22:52Speaker 2: This is true.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Uh.
- 22:54Speaker 2: What was it like? Did you win Rosslink when you
- 22:56Speaker 2: were in Miami?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Oh, we don't think col size, but to put us
- 22:59Speaker 1: on yeah, nah, suns to time. Yeah, because I had
- 23:02Speaker 1: got a feature for him from my uh he lives
- 23:05Speaker 1: in at somebody who used to be my orders. I
- 23:07Speaker 1: had got a verse for him from Ross and Dan
- 23:09Speaker 1: willing up.
- 23:10Speaker 2: You had to be okay, okay, okay. What's that like
- 23:13Speaker 2: like trying to do the label thing as an artist
- 23:15Speaker 2: who's still bubbling and on the come up yourself?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Oh, I'm kind of sad with it right now because
- 23:21Speaker 1: I just had a just a bad fall out with
- 23:23Speaker 1: my ex artist. But I'm I think I should just
- 23:27Speaker 1: focus on myself. You're right, because people just don't work
- 23:30Speaker 1: like you, and it's just people just don't understand the
- 23:34Speaker 1: business sometimes and some people just don't I don't know
- 23:39Speaker 1: they heart just don't be in the right places sometimes.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I also feel like artists sometimes if you're not, Like
- 23:47Speaker 2: I feel like the guy who's like the Golden Standard
- 23:50Speaker 2: is like Gotti, because Gott he had a twenty year
- 23:54Speaker 2: run and and like you know, he always had CMG,
- 23:57Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, But like I feel like
- 23:59Speaker 2: he really had so much. He had like solidified his
- 24:01Speaker 2: position as like a top dog before he really really
- 24:04Speaker 2: dug into the label side. So it was like, I
- 24:06Speaker 2: feel like if you're an artist that's like still kind
- 24:08Speaker 2: of working on like solidifying yourself, Like it's kind of
- 24:10Speaker 2: hard for you to like worry about so much at
- 24:14Speaker 2: the same time because you're worried about it's definitely because
- 24:16Speaker 2: it's so much mental. You only have so much mental bantage.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You gotta take care of your stuff and take care
- 24:20Speaker 1: of us. It was like trying to turn into projects
- 24:22Speaker 1: at the same time.
- 24:23Speaker 2: And you also kind of feel like you gotta kind
- 24:24Speaker 2: of baby if the other artists working like yours, you
- 24:27Speaker 2: feel like you're kind of babysitting.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Hey man, when you're gonna drop something, you know you
- 24:32Speaker 1: can't want it more than they want it, So yeah, damn,
- 24:36Speaker 1: what's the sound of this album, the new singles Dope
- 24:39Speaker 1: by the Way come Through. Yes, nope, you know I
- 24:42Speaker 1: shot that back last year and watched.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Oh so that's a that's an old video.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I just never dropped it. Wow, I'll be having
- 24:50Speaker 1: already really yeah, because I was gonna the situation had
- 24:53Speaker 1: got so bad to it. I was gonna drop the
- 24:55Speaker 1: album myself.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Just fuck it, yeah and just deal with whatever happened.
- 25:00Speaker 1: But I ain't want to go through the So this.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Album was the album for the most part, you were
- 25:04Speaker 2: gonna say, fuck it, I'm gonna drop the ship myself.
- 25:06Speaker 2: This is exactly Oh shit, So this is dope. So
- 25:09Speaker 2: you've already got you probably already got all the visuals
- 25:10Speaker 2: fucking ready to go. You've already had.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I'm working on my next project.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I bet now you got. You can't. You can't sit
- 25:18Speaker 2: on your hands like you did with the last album
- 25:20Speaker 2: because of the legal situation. What about are you doing
- 25:24Speaker 2: anything with your money, like, are you investing? Are you
- 25:25Speaker 2: doing anything outside of just like you know, typical fucking
- 25:29Speaker 2: having nice cars.
- 25:30Speaker 1: And I'm not a big spender though, I'm not into
- 25:33Speaker 1: all that because I've put so much of my money
- 25:36Speaker 1: back into so like for one project, I might spend
- 25:40Speaker 1: eighty one hundred thousand dollars on just videos and stuff. Yeah,
- 25:43Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So I'm more, way, more
- 25:45Speaker 1: safer than a lot of people. Plus I have a
- 25:47Speaker 1: mortgage and kids and stuff like that.
- 25:50Speaker 2: How many kids you got, I got to two kids.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Fatherhood something that has changed you for the better.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I bet it's just only the negative side of
- 25:58Speaker 1: it for me is having to overly care about I
- 26:02Speaker 1: have to. I have to care about you know what
- 26:04Speaker 1: I'm saying. When I have to, But I care more.
- 26:07Speaker 2: You have to. I mean, you don't have to.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying I care more about somebody else besides you, right,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you feel me. It's a new feeling, right, So my
- 26:16Speaker 1: work will get put on the back burner sometimes.
- 26:17Speaker 2: But yeah, if your kids sick or something, because it's.
- 26:20Speaker 1: A double negative, because okay, yes I love my child
- 26:23Speaker 1: with all my heart. But if I miss work, it
- 26:25Speaker 1: don't work. You know, you can't support you can't support you.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You got to make sure I'm around you all the time.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You feel I can't make money, It's called work life balance, bro.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You got to figure that out.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So I miss a lot of stuff.
- 26:37Speaker 2: But you know, as long as you're there for enough
- 26:39Speaker 2: of it.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I just hope that they understand when they get old.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I'm sure they do for sure.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Man, are you like a big Are you like a
- 26:45Speaker 1: big LSU football guy? Yeah?
- 26:48Speaker 2: What do you think of that? The quarterbacks supposed to
- 26:50Speaker 2: be like a top five pick? Did you watch football
- 26:52Speaker 2: this year?
- 26:53Speaker 1: What's that?
- 26:54Speaker 2: Southern college football is different?
- 26:55Speaker 1: Bro?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Like, y'all treat that ship like it's fucking like religion.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Bro. I mean l s U is in my hood.
- 27:01Speaker 2: So I'm just like, isn't it really like religion type
- 27:04Speaker 2: level dedication? Like when it comes to like the ls
- 27:08Speaker 2: US of the world and the Auburns and the Alabama
- 27:11Speaker 2: like these like, man, y'all are crazy.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Bron Yeah, it's I don't know, it's different.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And then it's so funny to me because I always
- 27:18Speaker 2: see these videos like Southern college football fans that are
- 27:21Speaker 2: obviously racist and unless it's Saturday, yeah, and then they
- 27:25Speaker 2: got a root for the black players. Like I'm tripping
- 27:30Speaker 2: right now a lot of except what's up? Man, Run
- 27:38Speaker 2: Bama Run? That's like what else? What else do you do?
- 27:42Speaker 2: These days? Just like like extra, like if are you
- 27:44Speaker 2: watching TV? Playing video? Games. What are you doing in
- 27:46Speaker 2: your spare time?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Video games that have been my like just ease my
- 27:50Speaker 1: mind type of time. I'm playing a lot of MLB.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Really the show.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't played the show, and like I love
- 27:57Speaker 1: playing GTA and stuff, but it's played a computer. I
- 28:00Speaker 1: had to get a new computer.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Oh you're on the computer. You're in the PC.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yeah, RP. Are you just the role playing in Grizzly World.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Oh you're in Grizzly World.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, well I haven't been in like three months. I'm
- 28:10Speaker 1: about to get back in.
- 28:11Speaker 2: For people who don't know.
- 28:12Speaker 1: T Grizzly has a the biggest server fi and if
- 28:17Speaker 1: you're in the game, you have to it's like acting.
- 28:21Speaker 1: You can't be. You can't be.
- 28:23Speaker 2: You can't break character. So if you broke character in
- 28:26Speaker 2: Grizzly World, what happens?
- 28:28Speaker 1: I think you're like want to get suspended?
- 28:30Speaker 2: Do they shoot you? No?
- 28:33Speaker 1: If you break credit, you just like like kick you out.
- 28:36Speaker 2: So what's your character in Grizzly World?
- 28:38Speaker 1: I got too. I got one that's my name you
- 28:40Speaker 1: like adult and stuff like that in the streets, and
- 28:42Speaker 1: then I got another one called like Officer Bru stupid cop.
- 28:46Speaker 1: You're just fucking with people, officer brus stupid, so you
- 28:52Speaker 1: just pull it over it like do you have an accent?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Like, what's the bru stupid accent?
- 28:59Speaker 1: Give it to me a littleser, I got the drugs
- 29:02Speaker 1: that you want you pull you do?
- 29:10Speaker 2: They know it to you?
- 29:11Speaker 1: Some people know that, like the fans that watched my.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Twitch your twitching hard I was.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I slowed down all that.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Were getting money off of that.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I ain't never really seen those crazy. Most of us
- 29:24Speaker 1: seemed like two thousand dollars. So I just really be
- 29:26Speaker 1: doing it for fun.
- 29:27Speaker 2: For fun. That's so funny when you do something like that,
- 29:30Speaker 2: is to make you realize, like damn, I could fucking
- 29:32Speaker 2: act for real, you know what I'm saying, Like if
- 29:33Speaker 2: I really needed to, I could play. I could play.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Because once like because I bust out laughed and I
- 29:39Speaker 1: had to mute my mic and just bust.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Oh for sure, I couldn't do it, bro because I
- 29:44Speaker 2: see some of the like T. Grizzley, like they'll be
- 29:47Speaker 2: doing this like serious drug deal and ship and the
- 29:49Speaker 2: way they been talking to each other. I'm like, this
- 29:50Speaker 2: ship is man. I've only played the story mode on
- 29:55Speaker 2: Grand Theft. I've never played online. It's fun story mode.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I beat that ship like ten years ago. You know
- 30:00Speaker 2: what I'm saying. I can't wait for the new one.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Six is coming soon. So right now you're on MLB. Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 2: O Tahani the.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Asian man, No, he ain't know my ain't know my team, but.
- 30:13Speaker 2: He's a Dodger now.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I was hoping he came to Miami.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that shot to the Marlins. I don't know if
- 30:19Speaker 2: they're good or not. I don't really know.
- 30:20Speaker 1: They got a nice squad, but my team ned pitch
- 30:23Speaker 1: and roster a little bit from.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Arizona, so made it to the World Series, which made
- 30:27Speaker 2: me care about baseball for about two weeks. You know,
- 30:30Speaker 2: I don't give a fuck about baseball? Are you? Are
- 30:32Speaker 2: you but that your It's not your favorite sport?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Is it?
- 30:34Speaker 2: Is it?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Baseball's I played?
- 30:36Speaker 2: Oh you played? What'd you play?
- 30:38Speaker 1: Shortstop?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Shortstop? Just you gotta be on it? Yeah? Were you? Like?
- 30:43Speaker 2: How far did you go? I had high school?
- 30:46Speaker 1: I could have I could have do it something in college,
- 30:49Speaker 1: but a whole different.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Why do you think there aren't more? I feel like
- 30:55Speaker 2: the best baseball players come from everywhere else but here,
- 30:59Speaker 2: Like I feel like there's not a lot of like
- 31:01Speaker 2: like when we think of like high school basketball, high
- 31:05Speaker 2: school football it second thing. But I feel like baseball,
- 31:07Speaker 2: for whatever reason, it's a lot harder to get the
- 31:09Speaker 2: use involved.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Why do you think that is? Like what got you
- 31:12Speaker 1: into it? Like when I was little some friends? Yeah,
- 31:17Speaker 1: but baseball is real more. It's a lot more mental
- 31:24Speaker 1: and you gotta really be revealed, like it's you gotta
- 31:27Speaker 1: be super dedicated to be good at it, right, you
- 31:30Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Uh, And it's a sport where okay,
- 31:35Speaker 1: like football, if you run to play, okay, the catcher
- 31:38Speaker 1: gotta get to you. I mean the quarterback, the center
- 31:41Speaker 1: gotta get the ball. The quarterback you got help to
- 31:45Speaker 1: win a game. Baseball, when you go up there, that
- 31:47Speaker 1: ball come to you. You gotta catch and throw that motherfu.
- 31:50Speaker 1: You feel me, You go up the back, you gotta
- 31:52Speaker 1: hit the ball or not hit the ball, you feel me.
- 31:54Speaker 2: So that's what everybody says about golf, Like golf is
- 31:57Speaker 2: like golf.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Is fucking born.
- 31:59Speaker 2: See I never play.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I couldn't do it.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I've only played the top golf in Vegas where you
- 32:02Speaker 2: hit the ball and ship. But my homies are in
- 32:04Speaker 2: the golf and they're like, it's like you versus yourself.
- 32:08Speaker 2: It's all it is. You're you're against the course. Who
- 32:11Speaker 2: cares if you're playing somebody Like it's really the whole
- 32:13Speaker 2: game is just it's like mental like mhmm forty two.
- 32:18Speaker 2: They could keep golf. It's definitely boring. That's crazy Baseball. Huh,
- 32:21Speaker 2: so is your your team is the Marlins?
- 32:24Speaker 1: I fold the walls, plodding on the walls. I wouldn't
- 32:29Speaker 1: say nobody else is my favorite because I'm more of
- 32:31Speaker 1: a like I'm a fan of a person, Like, so,
- 32:34Speaker 1: who's your favorite player? Man Mirror is my favorite man
- 32:38Speaker 1: for him?
- 32:38Speaker 2: You know, Manny was a beast on the Red Sox,
- 32:42Speaker 2: so you were fucking with the Red Sox then and
- 32:44Speaker 2: then we went to the to the Dodgers. Yeah, so
- 32:47Speaker 2: right now it's like Oani's the guy. Yeah, it's crazy
- 32:51Speaker 2: because he I feel like he's been the only person
- 32:53Speaker 2: since like Babe Ruth has been good as good at
- 32:55Speaker 2: hitting as he is his pitching, because back in the day,
- 32:58Speaker 2: Babe Ruth was a picture on the the Red Sox
- 33:00Speaker 2: before he went to the Yankees.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Yeah, uh Cci Sabbatha was a good hitter too.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I don't remember shout out to C. C. I remember,
- 33:08Speaker 2: I don't know he was hitting though I didn't know
- 33:09Speaker 2: he was hitting.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, see, I don't think he ain't get as many as.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Bay are legend right there CEC Sabathia shout out to
- 33:16Speaker 2: him is a different and he got paid smart. He
- 33:23Speaker 2: kicked off because you know, in LA the taxes suck,
- 33:26Speaker 2: so he's only getting paid two million dollars a year.
- 33:29Speaker 2: And then after his deal's over is when all the
- 33:32Speaker 2: real money kicks in and he'll be fucking hill left
- 33:35Speaker 2: l A by then at tax money and Cali's you
- 33:38Speaker 2: were doing the right thing. Florida's where it's at no
- 33:40Speaker 2: state tax. You could carry a gun. You know what
- 33:43Speaker 2: I'm saying. You could do whatever. You go to strip
- 33:46Speaker 2: club at six in the morning, get some chicken wings.
- 33:49Speaker 1: All probably just ain't have enough.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah, what is you have a favorite Miami strip club?
- 33:55Speaker 1: You like?
- 33:56Speaker 2: I've been to most of them. Boo Booby traps. Cool,
- 33:59Speaker 2: it's just the.
- 34:00Speaker 1: I'm just not a club.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Just a lot going on there.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I like. I like that, a lot going on in Miami. Pod.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I like Tuttis though, so this is Tutis is just chill.
- 34:09Speaker 2: You can go sit off in the cut and have
- 34:10Speaker 2: a lobster tail and not be bothered. So you get
- 34:15Speaker 2: up on that second floor, got.
- 34:16Speaker 1: The kid and run around the parking lot harassing and ship. Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Booby trapped a wild place. Yeah, booby traps fun.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I'm just not a club person. I just I readther
- 34:26Speaker 1: be in the hollow playing video games.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And THATSS you're getting paid to be there.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Yeah. Anime?
- 34:31Speaker 2: What's your favorite anime?
- 34:33Speaker 1: My all time favorite any Yasha. But I've been licked
- 34:38Speaker 1: in to uh Black Clover, I've been liked in my
- 34:42Speaker 1: hero Academia. I've been locked into uh the new Bleach Bleach.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I've heard of that. My son. I just bought
- 34:49Speaker 2: my son the sword from one Piece. I bought my
- 34:53Speaker 2: sword from I'll tell you right now because I texted it.
- 34:57Speaker 2: What's your favorite enemey I brought him. I spent like
- 35:01Speaker 2: to on Christmas. I brought him this fucking sword from
- 35:04Speaker 2: this fucking anime sword.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 2: It's a attack on Titan.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Ah tack on something. It was good.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I can't stay and it was since his favorite character
- 35:17Speaker 2: is Amon and my top anime is Dragonball and Uto
- 35:21Speaker 2: and attack on Titan dragon.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Ball one of my tops. So they're just don't be consistent.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Almore, isn't there like thirty seasons? How do you like?
- 35:31Speaker 2: You know what is is?
- 35:32Speaker 1: You gotta think all the episodes will be stressed to
- 35:34Speaker 1: like like one fight will be eight episodes to.
- 35:37Speaker 2: See how any of that?
- 35:39Speaker 1: You know?
- 35:39Speaker 2: What is an anime? People don't give credit for it
- 35:42Speaker 2: being an anime? Is The Boondocks.
- 35:44Speaker 1: It's not an anime.
- 35:45Speaker 2: It is It's not it is it's not see that's
- 35:49Speaker 2: it is an anime.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I mean, if you go off the anime definition, it's not.
- 35:54Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 35:55Speaker 1: It's like Chinese animation.
- 35:57Speaker 2: It's Japanese.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I think, No, it's not.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Is it Chinese? Boon Dogs was made by Aaron McGregor,
- 36:03Speaker 2: But it's it's it was made very You've never seen
- 36:06Speaker 2: the fights in the Boondocks.
- 36:08Speaker 1: That's not anime.
- 36:09Speaker 2: It's an anime. Bro the Boon Docks is an anime,
- 36:12Speaker 2: just like Afro Salm Samurai is an anime.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I gonna say, just feel like his anime.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Yeah, first of all, the guy who created his name
- 36:19Speaker 2: is Aaron McGregor. You like you like the Boon Dogs?
- 36:23Speaker 1: I love The Boon Dogs. All seasons on DVD me too.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Season three was that was when the writers left.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I love all of them.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Season one and two, though, I don't think it gets better.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I got a radio drop from Uncle Ruckas. Yeah, the
- 36:38Speaker 2: voice actor was doing drops. Yeah, like ten years ago.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I got it. Shot to Uncle Ruckas. Okay, is it
- 36:45Speaker 2: safe to say? Would you say? The closest thing to
- 36:47Speaker 2: like a real life Uncle Ruckus we've seen is Charleston White.
- 36:57Speaker 2: I'm not sure it's close, right. He said some crazy
- 37:02Speaker 2: shit about his own people, and I'm just like, that's
- 37:05Speaker 2: very I was a little Uncle ructcy. He might be right.
- 37:11Speaker 1: He got he said, he got the honest nobody does.
- 37:17Speaker 1: He does have the I didn't even you know what,
- 37:19Speaker 1: I wasn't even thinking about that. Well. I think he
- 37:22Speaker 1: really be just doing that for the social media.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I don't know what was he nice? I mean, listen,
- 37:29Speaker 2: I've seen a lot of his content that I think
- 37:30Speaker 2: is hilarious, and I've seen a lot of his content
- 37:32Speaker 2: that I think is extremely.
- 37:35Speaker 1: When I'm middle, I just told Hi about like, I
- 37:37Speaker 1: don't agree with what you be saying, but you say
- 37:39Speaker 1: what you want say?
- 37:40Speaker 2: You know, right, is there anybody uh for you that
- 37:47Speaker 2: you know you you've obviously been on the other side
- 37:50Speaker 2: of being a hot new artist. Who's Who's somebody, Who's
- 37:52Speaker 2: who's come out the last year or two that you're
- 37:54Speaker 2: just a fan of. Doesn't he gotta be somebody you know?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Or there's been some dope ship coming out lately, like

- 38:20Speaker 2: helicopter and the guy lowered the helicopter. We put the
- 38:24Speaker 2: guns out of the helicopter. Just fucking mowing down pigs.
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's fun.
- 38:30Speaker 2: It's on YouTube for Yeah, this ship is so much fun.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Why you see that? Must not be on your channel.
- 38:35Speaker 2: It's doing really well now it's almost a million views.
- 38:37Speaker 2: It's on my channel.
- 38:39Speaker 1: It up.
- 38:39Speaker 2: It's fun. If you ever go to Texas.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I always wanted to do it, but I don't know
- 38:43Speaker 1: if I can.
- 38:44Speaker 2: You can. I'm an animal lover, I'm saying because I'm
- 38:46Speaker 2: a feeling well, they didn't ask me any questions. It's
- 38:51Speaker 2: Texas bro.
- 38:52Speaker 1: But if I had the signs of paperwork. I can't
- 38:54Speaker 1: if you to sell you that, you know, the felling
- 38:57Speaker 1: that's a filler.

- 39:12Speaker 2: It's Texas. I don't think in Texas. I feel like
- 39:15Speaker 2: they don't give a fuck. Everybody got a gun with
- 39:18Speaker 2: the fist though they don't give a fuck. This is true.
- 39:21Speaker 1: They're trying to everyd with air.
- 39:22Speaker 2: So you can't even vote. That sucks.
- 39:25Speaker 1: I don't really get into all that. Yeah, I don't
- 39:27Speaker 1: really kill vote. It's president.
- 39:31Speaker 2: I always tell everybody this, man, if if who's the
- 39:33Speaker 2: president has to do with how successful or happy you
- 39:37Speaker 2: are in life. You got the whole game fucked up,
- 39:40Speaker 2: because I'm gonna get it no matter.
- 39:41Speaker 1: What the saying is. If I can't do nothing to change,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I don't give exactly.
- 39:45Speaker 2: It's like you can only control.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Man. Wake your fat ass up.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Man, he's a snore. You've been sleep for a minute.
- 40:01Speaker 2: But the stores kicked. Did you're sorry? That sounded like
- 40:07Speaker 2: your officer voice? That sounded like what's his name? Officer?
- 40:12Speaker 1: What officer? Bro?
- 40:14Speaker 2: Stupid stupid bro? You should do a fucking skit. Would
- 40:18Speaker 2: you ever like try to do TV?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Like?
- 40:20Speaker 2: I want to do a cartoon that should be great.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Can't find about it? Let me do it?
- 40:24Speaker 2: You want to like?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Do you want to like write it? And then I
- 40:26Speaker 1: want to do a voice Oh, you'll find somebody can't find.
- 40:30Speaker 1: All you gotta do is in LA.
- 40:32Speaker 2: You got to get an agent on the actor side
- 40:35Speaker 2: and they'll try to pitch you for a voiceovers. I
- 40:39Speaker 2: don't know no so agents. I don't know any agents
- 40:43Speaker 2: on the acting side. I'm like the most I mean
- 40:47Speaker 2: for living in LA, I don't know much on the Yeah.
- 40:49Speaker 1: It's just as me doing a Disney movie.
- 40:51Speaker 2: How to be Fire. You wouldn't You wouldn't even have
- 40:55Speaker 2: to like, uh you, I wouldn't tell anybody like yo,
- 40:57Speaker 2: it's fraid o bang, just like your government name. Here's
- 41:01Speaker 2: some of my examples, maybe a couple of GTA clips.
- 41:03Speaker 2: So you playing officer fucking whatever the fuck? And I
- 41:08Speaker 2: think I think it's possible. Man, how fucking helped you out?
- 41:11Speaker 2: Fucking yeah.

- 41:14Speaker 2: Well listen, man, the album's coming out when because I
- 41:16Speaker 2: just saw you put the pre order up. You book
- 41:18Speaker 2: a pre order and try to unlock the artwork the
- 41:20Speaker 2: nineteenth nineteenth? How many songs?
- 41:23Speaker 1: I think like fifteen, but I'm gonna I'm coming right
- 41:26Speaker 1: back on like two weeks. Really yea deluxe or a
- 41:29Speaker 1: whole new album deluxe?
- 41:31Speaker 2: How many extra songs?
- 41:34Speaker 1: That's six seven? I'm still aside right now.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Shout out to that hey man, you get Hey. I
- 41:40Speaker 2: got a feeling were gonna get another album for the
- 41:41Speaker 2: end of the year from you too. I mean's fucking January.
- 41:43Speaker 1: I'm trying to get out three to three Okay.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Last question, give me your If you're on it, who
- 41:51Speaker 2: are the other three artists on the Baton roush hip
- 41:53Speaker 2: Hop Mount Rushmore? If it's freight Bang and you you
- 42:01Speaker 2: can exclude yourself if you want, but I'll leave that
- 42:03Speaker 2: up to you.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I think I think I'm gonna put another word game
- 42:06Speaker 1: and be on though.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Okay, so Fredo's on it, there's three three more spots
- 42:09Speaker 2: on Mount Rushmore. It's four people. Yes, Oh of course,
- 42:15Speaker 2: your cousin and Webb.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That's three, you said, Ben rude, little fat okay mm
- 42:29Speaker 1: hm m hm.
- 42:36Speaker 2: And dude and dude, I wouldn't visited dude.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I'm a.
- 42:41Speaker 2: He's a nice guy. And I also wanted to commend
- 42:45Speaker 2: you guys for the unity and the community thing. Was
- 42:47Speaker 2: that about a year ago? Mm hmm about a year
- 42:50Speaker 2: and some change ago, which was a big deal. I
- 42:53Speaker 2: was trying not to I was trying to be the
- 42:55Speaker 2: first interview ever where the dude wasn't brought up that
- 42:57Speaker 2: you've done any still technical ags and brought up because
- 43:01Speaker 2: he's just dude.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but I thought listen because I I really you know,
- 43:06Speaker 1: I really hate when people bring him up because I
- 43:07Speaker 1: feel like it be unfair because I feel like when
- 43:11Speaker 1: y'all not and I'm not saying this is no type
- 43:13Speaker 1: of negative way. I'm just I feel like when they
- 43:15Speaker 1: when people get even with Gelling though, Like that's why
- 43:19Speaker 1: I said, I'm not just saying that negative because I
- 43:20Speaker 1: fuck with y'all. You know. I feels personally when people
- 43:23Speaker 1: interview him, they don't be wanting to fuck up the
- 43:25Speaker 1: chance of the interview and stuff, so they don't bring
- 43:27Speaker 1: me up to him, and I feel like it's kind
- 43:30Speaker 1: of like, you.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Know what my approach with that interview was I felt
- 43:34Speaker 2: like I have had zero relationship with him.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I understand, but I just said, it's unfair my call
- 43:44Speaker 1: for me, because it'd be making me look like I'm
- 43:48Speaker 1: always talking about him, for sure. I know it's just
- 43:51Speaker 1: I know it ain't well.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I think you're and I think both of you guys
- 43:55Speaker 2: are like so mentally mature past whenever you guys had
- 43:59Speaker 2: whatever y'all had that, you know, That's why that when
- 44:02Speaker 2: I saw you guys did the community event with his
- 44:05Speaker 2: team and your and your team, I just thought that
- 44:07Speaker 2: was a big deal. But you know, my approach to
- 44:09Speaker 2: that whole situation was like, I don't want to do
- 44:13Speaker 2: more of what is expected, and that would be bringing
- 44:15Speaker 2: up I didn't understand.
- 44:18Speaker 1: And then they probably.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I didn't even see. It's a credit to him. It
- 44:24Speaker 2: was just him and I talking right and and and
- 44:26Speaker 2: and you know, uh, I just I knew. My approach
- 44:30Speaker 2: with that was like most people probably talk to him
- 44:34Speaker 2: like he's an alien, but he's just a dude. You
- 44:36Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. He's got kids, like I got kids,
- 44:38Speaker 2: like you got kids, Like let's just shoot the ship.
- 44:40Speaker 2: And I you know, I didn't want to get into
- 44:42Speaker 2: too much of that because I don't have a previous
- 44:44Speaker 2: relationship with him.
- 44:45Speaker 1: It's cool though, because I understand y'all got a job,
- 44:48Speaker 1: and you know what I'm saying. It's just be to
- 44:51Speaker 1: the fans and make it look like I'm always speaking
- 44:53Speaker 1: him because when they somebody when the blows, cut something
- 44:56Speaker 1: up and be me talking. You know what I'm saying, Well,
- 44:58Speaker 1: you're past it, man. I'm an over books, so people
- 45:00Speaker 1: can get that out of right. You feel you'll past
- 45:03Speaker 1: it man. Twenty twenty four, New Ship, New money, Finally,
- 45:07Speaker 1: new music, finally, Finally. January nineteenth, the new album is
- 45:12Speaker 1: out Yes I'm Sad, which I think is a great
- 45:15Speaker 1: as hey man, look so far, it's been a good
- 45:20Speaker 1: year for music because this is new twenty one Savage.
- 45:22Speaker 1: I want to hear before it drops. Have you heard
- 45:25Speaker 1: the new twenty one Savage album to drop yesterday? Far Fire?
- 45:28Speaker 1: He always got some good production.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Oh my god, his beats, man, I look forward to
- 45:33Speaker 2: hearing your album. Everybody should go.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Drake the best with grabbing a concept.
- 45:38Speaker 2: And Ross Ross got the best beats. It's Ross twenty one,
- 45:40Speaker 2: Drake h Ross and Ross's ears for beats.
- 45:44Speaker 1: It's crazy production was good, but as far as the
- 45:48Speaker 1: total package, twenty one and Drake always know how to
- 45:52Speaker 1: get a subject, wrap a theme around it and the
- 45:56Speaker 1: liver like that ship, the American Dream and that. Well.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Listen, your album's coming out on the nineteenth. Everybody go
- 46:03Speaker 2: support it. If you pre order, you get the full artwork,
- 46:05Speaker 2: right Uh. Kevin Gates is on it, Rob four nine.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Who else?
