- 1:27Speaker 3: another week of foolishness here on Washington's Real Talk Radio
- 1:30Speaker 3: That's Right w R t R. My name is Marcus Smooth,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and I apologize up front for all of the the
- 1:39Speaker 3: shit that this pollen has me going through. Right now.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I'm so sick. I'm not sick, but I'm sick and
- 1:47Speaker 3: us You're gonna hear a whole bunch of throat clears,
- 1:49Speaker 3: You're gonna probably hear some sneezes. You're gonna hear me
- 1:52Speaker 3: Austin and all of that. So, yeah, my name is Marcus.
- 1:55Speaker 6: What's going on, y'all? It's your girl, miss Lyric.
- 1:58Speaker 3: How you do you do? How are you feeling?
- 2:01Speaker 6: I'm good.
- 2:02Speaker 3: I envy you, I envy those I feel you about
- 2:05Speaker 3: the fallen baby this. Did you know It's been probably,
- 2:12Speaker 3: I want to say, three maybe four years since I've
- 2:15Speaker 3: had to actually use my nebulizer from asthma, and this
- 2:19Speaker 3: year is the year I bound it out. So I
- 2:20Speaker 3: don't know what this particular brand of foolishness is going
- 2:27Speaker 3: on in the air, but my body does not like it,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and I'm just not well. I have low energy on
- 2:33Speaker 3: allergy pills. It's not great. It's not great over here,
- 2:37Speaker 3: but you look gorgeous.
- 2:38Speaker 7: Love your hair, Thank you, Thank You's occasion today, Yes.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Learks Groves, look for the.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Sag thing is happening. My son's promise tonight. Wow, work,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I cannot wait. I'm taking him. He got to be
- 2:59Speaker 1: there at steven this evening. And also it is my nephew,
- 3:03Speaker 1: which is my sister's baby boy's birthday today he turns on,
- 3:08Speaker 1: so shout out to Jam Happy birthday.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Boo boo.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I cannot believe it going on. It has been in you.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I remember when you drove down there. Wow, Tom is
- 3:19Speaker 3: Tom be timing? Don't it?
- 3:20Speaker 8: Yep?
- 3:21Speaker 1: It really do?
- 3:22Speaker 3: Oh my god? Where am I? Who am I? What
- 3:25Speaker 3: the fuck? Okay?
- 3:26Speaker 1: And then last weekend I watched my oldest walk that
- 3:30Speaker 1: stage in Shenandoah University is now a graduate.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And the same day it was Jakari, the one who's
- 3:39Speaker 1: promised tonight. It was his eighteenth birthday that same day.
- 3:42Speaker 1: So it's been a wild two weeks.
- 3:45Speaker 3: It really has. Listen, I'm gonna give a public apology
- 3:49Speaker 3: to miss Lyric because we actually recorded a podcast for y'all.
- 3:53Speaker 3: We recorded a whole entire show and my well, no,
- 3:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna blame this on technic because it's ultimately my fault,
- 4:02Speaker 3: so I do absorb that. But I will say that
- 4:06Speaker 3: it's very strange that when you go into the audio
- 4:09Speaker 3: file of the podcast lost that I still haven't deleted
- 4:12Speaker 3: because I'm not quite ready to not release. Like, I
- 4:16Speaker 3: don't know why the entire folder is clear. When we
- 4:20Speaker 3: recorded everything, everything was there and now it's just not,
- 4:24Speaker 3: and it's so strange just it disappeared. It just randomly vanished.
- 4:29Speaker 3: And we talked about some good shit on that particular podcast, so.
- 4:33Speaker 6: He talked a lot about a Trump shit too. It
- 4:35Speaker 6: was a lot, it was a lie, yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 9: Stuff.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Okay, So I don't always remember immediately everything that we
- 4:45Speaker 3: have going on. Sometimes I have to go back and
- 4:48Speaker 3: listen to the audio myself. But it's very interesting to
- 4:53Speaker 3: me that I'm not saying conspiracy because Trump don't care
- 4:56Speaker 3: about well, I don't know what the fuck does Nigga
- 4:59Speaker 3: care about, But I'm just saying it was odds. So
- 5:03Speaker 3: I apologize for wasting your time. And no, I mean,
- 5:08Speaker 3: our conversations are always good and they always fill us both,
- 5:12Speaker 3: but I just wanted to put it out there that
- 5:15Speaker 3: we didn't abandon the listeners. We did actually record a show.
- 5:21Speaker 3: It was literally before Mother's Day and then I thought, huh,
- 5:25Speaker 3: let's just release it Mother's Day week when because leading
- 5:28Speaker 3: up to Mother's Day week everybody's in a hairy you know,
- 5:31Speaker 3: everybody's just doing shit. But then I have to remember,
- 5:35Speaker 3: we're those muses in between when everybody is doing shit,
- 5:39Speaker 3: so maybe we should record during those times. So it's
- 5:42Speaker 3: just me getting out of my own ways sometimes. Yeah, anyway,
- 5:47Speaker 3: we're here for another week. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the show
- 5:52Speaker 3: For those of y'all that want to know, because I
- 5:55Speaker 3: wrote it, I still have the post it note that
- 5:57Speaker 3: I wrote it on. It's called it was called no
- 6:01Speaker 3: tucks or Fucks given, voting, race rollbacks, trump, astronautic insults
- 6:07Speaker 3: and lyrics, bad black business experiences.
- 6:11Speaker 6: It's what I interastic, is.
- 6:14Speaker 3: What I put in the dirror. Okay, okay, well anyway.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And they better be glad mm hmmm, because I checked.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I just checked to see if they've deleted my reviews.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Who is still up there?
- 6:30Speaker 3: Did they?
- 6:31Speaker 6: They do be doing that? I've seen people do that.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Because how the fuck you got five stars on Google
- 6:37Speaker 1: when you got one star?
- 6:39Speaker 6: Reviews. M there you go that go add up.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Just saying okay, oh okay, well for me, uh this week.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I think I'm being taken advantage of it work. And
- 6:51Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't mean that in a predator well,
- 6:58Speaker 3: I don't mean like you know, somebody who's out to
- 7:01Speaker 3: get my you know, Boygina or anything. I just mean like,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I just mean in a sense of my work ethic
- 7:14Speaker 3: and the things that I produce. I think that that's
- 7:16Speaker 3: being taken advantage of by one of my actual coworkers
- 7:20Speaker 3: because I work very hard. I love a job that
- 7:23Speaker 3: I can come in and have very little talk with
- 7:27Speaker 3: the people around me, because y'all have already proven to
- 7:30Speaker 3: me beyond the shadow of a doubt that y'all are nasty,
- 7:33Speaker 3: and I don't know how to deal with certain.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Types of people, right, right.
- 7:39Speaker 3: But what I do like about my job is the
- 7:42Speaker 3: fact that it keeps me physical, it keeps me motivated,
- 7:45Speaker 3: and it's doing something that I've done pretty much my
- 7:47Speaker 3: whole life, so I understand it very well. What I
- 7:51Speaker 3: don't like is that lazy coworker that sits next to
- 7:55Speaker 3: you and does the absolute very least just to get
- 8:00Speaker 3: by where your results are consistently demonstrated. Demons like you
- 8:05Speaker 3: can pull the stats and see my stats versus my
- 8:09Speaker 3: coworker stats, and you know they vary so much differently.
- 8:14Speaker 3: And that's fine. I'm okay with being an overachiever. What
- 8:17Speaker 3: I'm not okay with is that like days or weeks
- 8:21Speaker 3: like this, where my energy is low, where my allergies
- 8:25Speaker 3: of kicking my ass, and where I feel a little
- 8:28Speaker 3: less than myself. I don't like how you can slide in,
- 8:34Speaker 3: get the same consistent paycheck and do the very least,
- 8:39Speaker 3: and then when you see the numbers at the end
- 8:42Speaker 3: of the day, then you ramp it up and work
- 8:45Speaker 3: at the pace that I know that you're capable of doing,
- 8:48Speaker 3: but while omitting the entire day, week, month, or year
- 8:54Speaker 3: that I've worked and we've worked together. So that kind
- 8:57Speaker 3: of pissed me off this week. That's why I say,
- 8:59Speaker 3: I think that I'm being taken advantage of.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Does that make Oh, of course you are. Of course
- 9:04Speaker 1: you are okay. So people will do the bare minimum
- 9:09Speaker 1: for every fucking thing I give you get away with it,
- 9:13Speaker 1: especially when it comes to group projects and ship like that.
- 9:17Speaker 6: That's one thing I hated in school when I went
- 9:19Speaker 6: back to get this pint fucking projects.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I remember that on my nerves because I'm sitting here busting.
- 9:29Speaker 6: My ass and really doing the work.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And then you gotta wait on this person to give
- 9:35Speaker 1: this information and fill out this form and the ship
- 9:38Speaker 1: that they're pudding, you know, some bullshit you do. So
- 9:44Speaker 1: then you gotta go back and then have these little
- 9:46Speaker 1: ted talks with the group and say, well, maybe we
- 9:49Speaker 1: should do this to get to fix it, Like, come on,
- 9:53Speaker 1: just do what you're supposed to do the first time,
- 9:55Speaker 1: so everybody can get this ship over where with and
- 9:58Speaker 1: we won't be still here at the deadline when it's
- 10:02Speaker 1: fucking dude.
- 10:03Speaker 6: I cannot stand that neither.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I like to get my shit done early so I
- 10:07Speaker 1: can have some time to chill and relax.
- 10:09Speaker 3: And I feel like I've always been that way to
- 10:12Speaker 3: where I've always overachieved. But I also realize some of
- 10:16Speaker 3: that is stamped in trauma. So I mean, I get that,
- 10:20Speaker 3: I get where my motivation comes from. But at the
- 10:23Speaker 3: end of the day, if you see that you have
- 10:25Speaker 3: somebody that is consistent that works next to you, that
- 10:30Speaker 3: you see is doing the brunt of the work, why
- 10:34Speaker 3: would then you're not next instinct be you know what,
- 10:37Speaker 3: let me step up my game, let me do what
- 10:40Speaker 3: I need to do to then match his swag. Why
- 10:43Speaker 3: wouldn't you see that?
- 10:44Speaker 2: People, lazy fox.
- 10:45Speaker 10: That's why.
- 10:48Speaker 3: The truth is out there. Okay, So who do you
- 10:53Speaker 3: want to be like this week? Or do you want
- 10:55Speaker 3: me to go first?
- 10:56Speaker 9: You go first? All right?
- 10:57Speaker 3: When I grow up, I want to be like a
- 11:00Speaker 3: TikTok creator that I often follow. Her name is Goddess Miya.
- 11:04Speaker 3: From what I've witnessed in my time on TikTok, she's
- 11:08Speaker 3: been a force despite the mean and hateful comments, despite
- 11:13Speaker 3: losing her brother, despite her health challenges and this constant
- 11:18Speaker 3: goalpost moving of healthcare, she's remained a consistent creator who
- 11:23Speaker 3: you have all heard me feature on this very podcast
- 11:26Speaker 3: and some of my posts. This woman continues to drop
- 11:31Speaker 3: the knowledge and dissect some of those and some of
- 11:35Speaker 3: these ever evolving news stories that are sometimes buried, while
- 11:38Speaker 3: at the same time reminding us that this is her
- 11:42Speaker 3: little tag that diversity equals power and we can change
- 11:46Speaker 3: the world if we work together and protect black women.
- 11:50Speaker 3: And that's a powerful message because most people miss the
- 11:53Speaker 3: forest for the trees. She's not saying only protect black women,
- 11:59Speaker 3: and that's where she loses so very many lyrics. She's saying,
- 12:03Speaker 3: protect the most marginalized and everyone else will be okay
- 12:10Speaker 3: if we find value and protect the most vulnerable of society. Yes,
- 12:15Speaker 3: black women, and now we're realizing that it's even children.
- 12:19Speaker 3: If we protect the most vulnerable of society, the rest
- 12:23Speaker 3: of us will be fined by proximity. And so many
- 12:27Speaker 3: of you in the comments, you bone headed hicks in
- 12:31Speaker 3: the comments, be jumping in her comments like all lives,
- 12:35Speaker 3: mattering everything that she says, and it's so frustrating to me.
- 12:40Speaker 3: So goddes, Miya, you are my shero of this week.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Many thanks for your efforts and your talent. Who you
- 12:47Speaker 3: want to be like? This week? Miss Alert?
- 12:51Speaker 11: I see, but should win, but you know, I think
- 13:00Speaker 11: I'm gonna go with the one that I originally picked.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I would like to be like Kamara Johnson, who is
- 13:10Speaker 1: a seventeen year old Google Annual Doodle for Google Contest winner.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Wait, so those like when you type in Google and
- 13:19Speaker 3: they always have the different art.
- 13:21Speaker 6: And she's one of their Oh we're black girl, we see.
- 13:24Speaker 1: The grand prize included a fifty five thousand dollars college
- 13:29Speaker 1: scholarship and a fifty thousand dollars technology package for the
- 13:33Speaker 1: winter school. The theme for this year was My superpower Is,
- 13:39Speaker 1: which inspired students to reflect on what makes them unique,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and for Johnson, the answer was her hair. My superpower
- 13:47Speaker 1: is my hair and the family history it carries, she shared.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And I know y'all can't see the picture, but I'm
- 13:55Speaker 1: about to show Marcus the picture that she drew because us.
- 14:00Speaker 1: It's absolutely gorgeous, it says Google. That is so quick,
- 14:05Speaker 1: little black girl's hair.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I would love to see that on Juneteenth, wouldn't you?
- 14:09Speaker 6: Yes? Absolutely, so I want to be like you you
- 14:13Speaker 6: go girl.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely all. I love us. I love us and
- 14:21Speaker 3: our magic despite all the fuckery in this world.
- 14:25Speaker 6: And she's adorable.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Look at her, a very pretty all. Right, on to
- 14:33Speaker 3: the fuckery if it were later up next.
- 14:43Speaker 12: Okay, So I'm going to address this whole. They are
- 14:45Speaker 12: trying to take the midterms because they want to change
- 14:48Speaker 12: the Constitution. I have gotten some messages and I've also
- 14:50Speaker 12: seen some videos. I just want to explain to you
- 14:52Speaker 12: guys how changing the constitution actually works. For the Constitution
- 14:55Speaker 12: to be amended, there needs to be a two thirds
- 14:57Speaker 12: vote in the House and in the Senate. That means
- 15:00Speaker 12: there needs to be two hundred and ninety five people
- 15:02Speaker 12: in the House and about sixty seven sixty eight people
- 15:05Speaker 12: in the Senate to be able to change or amend
- 15:08Speaker 12: the Constitution, as well as thirty eight states need to
- 15:11Speaker 12: agree to change the Constitution. The last time there was
- 15:14Speaker 12: a two third majority for any political party in the
- 15:17Speaker 12: House and Congress was in the.
- 15:18Speaker 13: Sixties during lbj's presidency.
- 15:21Speaker 12: That was the last time there was a two third
- 15:23Speaker 12: majority in both the House and the Senate. So what
- 15:25Speaker 12: they're doing is going through the Supreme Court so that
- 15:27Speaker 12: the Supreme Court can.
- 15:28Speaker 13: Reinterpret what is in the Constitution.
- 15:31Speaker 12: So when it comes to the birthright citizenship, they tried
- 15:33Speaker 12: to go in there and basically say that the fourteenth
- 15:35Speaker 12: Amendment was only for.
- 15:37Speaker 13: Slaves descendants of slaves.
- 15:39Speaker 12: So what they're trying to say is that no one
- 15:40Speaker 12: should have birthright citizenship. If your parents or your grandparents
- 15:44Speaker 12: are immigrants, they immigrated here to America, they shouldn't have
- 15:46Speaker 12: the privilege of their children being citizens if they were
- 15:49Speaker 12: born here. So again, they can't just wially nearly change
- 15:52Speaker 12: the Constitution. They just need the Supreme Court to try
- 15:55Speaker 12: to reinterpret things. What I think is happening is that
- 15:58Speaker 12: the South wants to secede from the Union with out
- 16:00Speaker 12: actually saying they want to succeed from the Union. So
- 16:02Speaker 12: they're trying to concentrate all the federal powers to the states.
- 16:06Speaker 13: They want everything back to the states.
- 16:07Speaker 12: Like I keep saying, the United States is like fifty
- 16:09Speaker 12: different countries working together under one banner. The Southern States
- 16:13Speaker 12: don't want to work under that banner anymore. They want
- 16:15Speaker 12: all the power, all the power that the federal government has.
- 16:18Speaker 12: They want all that power back to the states or
- 16:20Speaker 12: to the states so that they can create their own
- 16:21Speaker 12: crazy jimcro in the South.
- 16:23Speaker 13: That's what I'm thinking.
- 16:24Speaker 12: And because of this, a lot of people in the
- 16:26Speaker 12: South are leaving. There is a mass exodus happening in
- 16:29Speaker 12: the South. And what they hope is that the racist
- 16:31Speaker 12: people in the North will come down to the South. Now,
- 16:34Speaker 12: it's against the Constitution to succeed, but you don't actually
- 16:38Speaker 12: have to say that's what you're doing. You can just
- 16:40Speaker 12: try to petition the Supreme Court to bring all the
- 16:42Speaker 12: power back to the states and then basically leave the
- 16:45Speaker 12: Union without leaving the Union. And they want the people,
- 16:48Speaker 12: the minorities that are in the South to be their workhorse.
- 16:51Speaker 13: Now we in a different time.
- 16:52Speaker 12: There's a lot of minorities in the South that are
- 16:54Speaker 12: leaving the South, which will also create a problem for
- 16:56Speaker 12: the Southern states. They essentially want the poor white folks
- 16:59Speaker 12: in the middle class white folks to come over down
- 17:01Speaker 12: here so that they can continue to be their modern
- 17:03Speaker 12: day slave because they're only tricking white folks. Everybody else
- 17:06Speaker 12: see what's happening. And on top of that, they really
- 17:08Speaker 12: want black folks to go out in the street and
- 17:09Speaker 12: cause a ruckus. That is why they keep on messing
- 17:12Speaker 12: with us. The black community ain't even fucking with them.
- 17:14Speaker 12: We don't even care do what you do. But they
- 17:16Speaker 12: keep fucking with us because they want us to go
- 17:18Speaker 12: out in the streets so that there can be martial
- 17:20Speaker 12: law and that these draconian laws can get go into
- 17:23Speaker 12: effect quicker. But as far as changing the constitution, as
- 17:27Speaker 12: of right now, they don't have the numbers.
- 17:29Speaker 13: Will that change.
- 17:31Speaker 12: But as of right now, no, it doesn't matter how
- 17:33Speaker 12: many maps they redistrict. They're not going to get two
- 17:36Speaker 12: thirds in both the House and the Senate and thirty
- 17:38Speaker 12: eight states to agree.
- 17:39Speaker 13: To change the constitution.
- 17:40Speaker 12: Like I said, they're using the Supreme Court so that
- 17:42Speaker 12: the federal powers go back to the states.
- 17:45Speaker 13: That's all. So there's that. Remember diversity equal power.
- 17:48Speaker 12: We can change it while we work together and protect
- 17:50Speaker 12: black women until next time.
- 17:55Speaker 4: But definitely she would if.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Wreck up, y'all, I should girl, miss Lyric, and I'm
- 18:01Speaker 1: back with my segment if it were Lyric, why discuss
- 18:04Speaker 1: your situationships, relationships, friendships and everything in between. If you
- 18:08Speaker 1: want to continue sending me your advice, questions and stories,
- 18:13Speaker 1: please send them to my Gmail accounts at Lyric Provider
- 18:17Speaker 1: at gmail dot com. Now let's get into this shit,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and I mean literally, because this is the first one
- 18:24Speaker 1: that I ask no, please, no, a hot how of
- 18:32Speaker 1: stinking mass?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Okay, okay, it's not dealing with actual feces, is it.
- 18:40Speaker 6: Let's see.
- 18:48Speaker 1: The first one comes from Samantha, says dear lyric Her.
- 18:53Speaker 1: My name is Samantha. I'm twenty five years old, and
- 18:56Speaker 1: I lived with my roommate flash best friend who's twenty
- 19:00Speaker 1: and she has a boyfriend who is twenty two. Well,
- 19:03Speaker 1: let me tell you, she just moved in last month
- 19:06Speaker 1: and the boyfriend has been spending the night, I mean
- 19:10Speaker 1: most nights. He just naturally is socially awkward and often
- 19:15Speaker 1: comes to our house and won't say hello or speak
- 19:18Speaker 1: to me when we're in the same room. So one
- 19:21Speaker 1: day I heard him use the bathroom and turn the
- 19:24Speaker 1: fan on after he left. You live in a small apartment,
- 19:27Speaker 1: so I know he was the last person to use
- 19:29Speaker 1: the bathroom. I walk into the bathroom and immediately it
- 19:33Speaker 1: smelled terrible. Our shower is next to the toilet, so
- 19:38Speaker 1: the bath mat is on the side of the toilet.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I see where this is going, and I hate it.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Oh.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I looked down and there was a small puddle of
- 19:54Speaker 1: liquid shit on the light gray.
- 19:56Speaker 6: Bath moob, I know it's shit.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Trying to wipe it up with toilet paper, I ended
- 20:03Speaker 1: up just throwing the bath mat out and ordering a
- 20:06Speaker 1: new one on Amazon.
- 20:09Speaker 6: I'm not mad that he had an accident. I'm mad
- 20:11Speaker 6: that he left that shit on our back.
- 20:13Speaker 1: And there's no way he didn't see it or smell it,
- 20:17Speaker 1: because it was the first thing that caught my eye
- 20:19Speaker 1: when I walked in. How do I approach my roommate
- 20:23Speaker 1: about this? How do I even start that conversation?
- 20:28Speaker 6: Do I lie about why we.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Randomly have if she asks, I don't keep things from her,
- 20:34Speaker 1: but I'm worried she won't know how to handle it.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Can you help me, Samantha, Well, just tell her, you know,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I walked in or in the bathroom and your boyfriend
- 20:47Speaker 1: had left some ship on the bath back, so I
- 20:49Speaker 1: had to order another one.
- 20:51Speaker 6: Can you please tell him, you know, to be more
- 20:53Speaker 6: careful next time.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Here's the link on Amazon with the replacement matt and yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 3: you can just click to order and nothing else will
- 21:01Speaker 3: be said.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Y'all be scared to have these regular conversations. It's like
- 21:07Speaker 1: y'all be terrified to have conversations with people.
- 21:10Speaker 6: That's how I feel.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Tell her her boyfriend shit on the man and you
- 21:17Speaker 1: had to spend your coin to get a new one
- 21:20Speaker 1: for the bathroom because he left his liquid shit like
- 21:23Speaker 1: as you described it at the rhymes.
- 21:26Speaker 6: He needs to check his gut gross on the backback.
- 21:30Speaker 3: It's a nasty I cannot like, just you know, this
- 21:34Speaker 3: this is our home.
- 21:35Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 21:36Speaker 1: We don't mind you here, just you know, be more
- 21:38Speaker 1: cautious of when you're using the bathroom.
- 21:40Speaker 6: That's not a weird request. That's the same thing.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Let's say women they're on their minstrel I tell anybody
- 21:48Speaker 1: check the bathroom.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Before you leave it. You might leave flood or pisser.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Even my son's say, if you leave pee on the
- 21:55Speaker 1: fucking toilet and you miss aim, wipe that shut up.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Sometimes fellas, y'all know, we do miss aim. Sometimes you
- 22:04Speaker 3: be in the middle of the night. Sometimes you be
- 22:09Speaker 3: you pushed up to that very last moment where you
- 22:12Speaker 3: gotta grab your dick and squeeze it before you shoot.
- 22:16Speaker 4: And you know it.
- 22:17Speaker 3: You know this shit, niggas, you know this shit, and
- 22:21Speaker 3: y'all still will pee on the side of the seat,
- 22:24Speaker 3: or you still will pee on the floor, or you
- 22:26Speaker 3: still will hit somebody's shower curtain and do absolutely nothing.
- 22:31Speaker 6: Nothing about it.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Get nasty bitches. This one probably gonna get deleted to
- 22:38Speaker 3: the fuck because you nasty ass niggas. Gross Uh are
- 22:48Speaker 3: you ready for this next letter?
- 22:50Speaker 6: Oh?
- 22:53Speaker 1: Just tell the roomie. Don't make it a big ordeal
- 22:57Speaker 1: and I don't. We don't have to be you know,
- 22:59Speaker 1: sit down converse as, just say it casually. Yeah, I
- 23:01Speaker 1: bought a new I had to buy a new map
- 23:04Speaker 1: because Slim took a ship and forgot about it.
- 23:07Speaker 6: It's no big deal.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I cleaned it up and got a new mat just,
- 23:11Speaker 1: you know, tell them to be more cautious.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Next time, y'all.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Just don't make a big deal out of everything, Like,
- 23:17Speaker 1: just talk to each other.
- 23:19Speaker 6: That's my advice for that one.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Okay, So your inbox is different than mine, and I
- 23:25Speaker 3: got a dear Lyric letter in mind in box, and
- 23:30Speaker 3: I'm scared it's this one hit me. I was like,
- 23:36Speaker 3: kinda again, sorry if y'all for the throat clears, but
- 23:42Speaker 3: the allergies are allergy dear Lyric. So my husband and
- 23:49Speaker 3: I have been married for just over a year. Recently
- 23:53Speaker 3: I saw his camera roll a screenshot of my friend
- 23:58Speaker 3: in a bikini and pick that she had posted to
- 24:01Speaker 3: her Instagram for reference. We both know her. She's not
- 24:04Speaker 3: exactly necessarily a friend of mine, but neither of us
- 24:09Speaker 3: like her that much, but she's in the same circles
- 24:11Speaker 3: as people we know. I don't know if I should
- 24:14Speaker 3: bring her up or ask him about it. I'm really
- 24:17Speaker 3: bad at confrontation and would usually prefer to do it
- 24:21Speaker 3: over text slash phone rather than in person. But I
- 24:26Speaker 3: feel like if I do that, he will just lie
- 24:28Speaker 3: about it or delete the picture in the night. I
- 24:31Speaker 3: also don't know if I should ask him about it,
- 24:33Speaker 3: as he doesn't know I saw it, and I'm afraid
- 24:37Speaker 3: he will turn it on me and ask me why
- 24:39Speaker 3: I was in his phone and in his camera roll?
- 24:42Speaker 3: What would be your next move? With love to you both, mahogany.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Ooh girl, See, I'm allowed to be in my phone
- 24:54Speaker 1: and in my husband's one.
- 24:55Speaker 6: I got the pass where and I got all that
- 24:57Speaker 6: shit like, that's not a problem. You said anything I
- 25:00Speaker 6: want to go do?
- 25:02Speaker 1: You said not that I want to or need to
- 25:05Speaker 1: feel the need to all the time.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Didn't.
- 25:08Speaker 1: But there's no problem with me picking up his phone,
- 25:10Speaker 1: like ordering something from Amazon or doing you know, normal shit.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I don't know how you're gonna get out of this one, Bookie.
- 25:21Speaker 1: You're not supposed to be in that phone.
- 25:22Speaker 3: You're supposed to have answers you.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you might have to do a little I don't know,
- 25:29Speaker 1: picking over the shoulder and acting like you've seen something.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Act you know, set set the scene, ask him, take.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Your picture, you know what I'm saying, and then do
- 25:39Speaker 1: a little one too. Peek over that shoulder and be
- 25:42Speaker 1: like who that? He'd be like, who what? Get the scrolling?
- 25:47Speaker 1: I've seen what sell and sell in your phone? Girls,
- 25:50Speaker 1: sometimes you gotta do a little Oakie goat m. But
- 25:53Speaker 1: you shouldn't have been in his phone though, So.
- 25:55Speaker 6: I don't know how. I don't know. Just your husband now,
- 25:58Speaker 6: I don't know how.
- 26:00Speaker 3: I think I'm of two miles now.
- 26:02Speaker 1: It's a privacy thing, and maybe he I don't know,
- 26:06Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. This is this is
- 26:09Speaker 1: not the first picture she said this like multiple pictures
- 26:13Speaker 1: of her.
- 26:14Speaker 6: It's one of the bikini and some other stuff.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm of two minds. I'm of two minds because
- 26:22Speaker 3: I do agree that perhaps you should not violate somebody
- 26:25Speaker 3: else's privacy. I meant inadvertently or otherwise. However, I'm also
- 26:32Speaker 3: a fan of believe the things that you fucking see
- 26:37Speaker 3: In twenty twenty six, Maga, believe this shit if that's
- 26:41Speaker 3: right in front of your fucking face, Maga. See, I'm
- 26:47Speaker 3: just saying, you can create any reality.
- 26:50Speaker 6: You want in your mind.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Relationship, you can create whatever reality you have in your mind.
- 26:55Speaker 3: You can create that shit, and that is just what
- 26:58Speaker 3: it is. If you create, that's the shit you live,
- 27:01Speaker 3: and that's the being that you stay. But if the
- 27:05Speaker 3: ship is right in front of your face, fucking address it. Sorry,
- 27:09Speaker 3: I'm that person. That's just me. But you didn't ask me.
- 27:12Speaker 3: You asked if it were lyrics. So there, see, that's.
- 27:16Speaker 6: What I'm saying.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I'm in between because for me, I'm gonna ask those
- 27:21Speaker 1: questions me. I'm very much direct or. I might sit
- 27:26Speaker 1: on something for a week or so or a couple
- 27:29Speaker 1: of days and let some time go by to test
- 27:32Speaker 1: and check temperature of this and see, you know when
- 27:35Speaker 1: when's the right time. But baby, trust and believe, I'm
- 27:39Speaker 1: going to ask, why should you should you have to.
- 27:41Speaker 6: See I'm going to address it right then and day.
- 27:43Speaker 3: But hold on, Why should you have to stick your
- 27:45Speaker 3: toe in the water to figure out if it's hot
- 27:47Speaker 3: to address something that you saw right there in front
- 27:50Speaker 3: of your face? Why why are we doing that?
- 27:53Speaker 9: Like?
- 27:53Speaker 3: Why do we feel like we have to little ourselves
- 27:57Speaker 3: down to ask somebody else? Oh excuse me, You've made
- 28:02Speaker 3: me feel very insecure when you did the very thing
- 28:05Speaker 3: that you did right in my fucking face.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Because people don't like confrontation, like you're saying, and some
- 28:10Speaker 1: people feel like if it's something that's going to mess
- 28:16Speaker 1: up the peace within their home, then they then they
- 28:19Speaker 1: would feel more comfortable keeping it to themselves just to
- 28:22Speaker 1: keep the peace. Me on the other hand, I like
- 28:27Speaker 1: peace too, but at the same time, I need my
- 28:29Speaker 1: clarity to have and keep my peace. I'm not just
- 28:32Speaker 1: gonna sit there and hold it, hold it, hold it,
- 28:34Speaker 1: and just keep thinking about stuff and let things build up,
- 28:37Speaker 1: because that's how resentment builds, and that's how you start
- 28:42Speaker 1: having real problems and mistrust and your relationship when you don't.
- 28:47Speaker 6: Address things had on.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Like if I see something I don't like and I
- 28:51Speaker 1: feel like you violating and you're crossing boundaries that I
- 28:55Speaker 1: put in place, and I let you know that I
- 28:56Speaker 1: don't fuck with We have a problem.
- 29:00Speaker 6: It's addressed.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Let's talk about it. Because one thing's for sure and
- 29:03Speaker 1: two things for certain. If you don't have those conversations,
- 29:06Speaker 1: and how is accountability gonna enter into the play?
- 29:10Speaker 6: It never will.
- 29:11Speaker 1: You have to have these hard conversations sometimes, even if
- 29:15Speaker 1: you do something that you feel is a violation of trust,
- 29:19Speaker 1: if you see something, just be like, hey, take your
- 29:22Speaker 1: accountability for that too.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Be like, hey, I look through your phone. I know
- 29:26Speaker 6: it was wrong, but I.
- 29:26Speaker 14: Saw this true.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Okay, love that that's what you do.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yeah, have these has and I know it's easier said
- 29:36Speaker 1: than done, especially when it comes to the level of
- 29:40Speaker 1: some of these relationships that I hear about nowadays.
- 29:43Speaker 6: But it has to be done period. So that is
- 29:47Speaker 6: my advice.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Yeah, just straight like that. Communication is the key. And
- 29:51Speaker 1: I tell y'all that all the time. Half the time,
- 29:54Speaker 1: y'all write me these long drawn out letters and I'm
- 29:57Speaker 1: gonna say the same thing, talk about it, talk about it.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Then that probably isn't the relationship that you need to
- 30:05Speaker 1: be in in the first place.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Appreciate that. Let so much for supporting my page because
- 30:10Speaker 3: you didn't know how to get I guess she didn't
- 30:13Speaker 3: listen and she emailed me trying to get to you
- 30:17Speaker 3: about this, So I appreciate that. Thanks Mahogany.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's what I would suggest. If you guys
- 30:25Speaker 1: weren't to continue sending me your advice, questions, and or stories,
- 30:29Speaker 1: please send them to my Gmail account at Lord Bravado
- 30:33Speaker 1: at gmail dot com.
- 30:35Speaker 6: And until next time.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Mine up next. How does your timeline look this week?
- 30:43Speaker 3: Sweet it? Because mine kind of piss me off a
- 30:47Speaker 3: little bit, so I'm in that kind of mood.
- 30:49Speaker 6: But yeah you anna Hanta.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Okay, Well, patrolling the timeline, we'll be right back.
- 31:00Speaker 15: The would be Christians are only comfortable saying that God
- 31:02Speaker 15: is on their side because God, for them, is another
- 31:05Speaker 15: white man that's just as bigger than racist as they are.
- 31:10Speaker 15: That's why they can't reconcile with the fact that God
- 31:12Speaker 15: is even a black woman or any other entity or being,
- 31:14Speaker 15: or that Jesus is even brown, because they know in
- 31:17Speaker 15: the world that they are living in that everything is
- 31:19Speaker 15: going to work out in their favor because they are
- 31:21Speaker 15: also white, biggot than men, and white bigoted straight men
- 31:24Speaker 15: in America specifically, do not have to worry about a
- 31:26Speaker 15: lot of the issues that are plaguing other people. These
- 31:28Speaker 15: plagues that are harming the rest of us don't impact
- 31:32Speaker 15: them in any way because they are shielded by their
- 31:34Speaker 15: white God aka devil Satan, build a bulb whatever. These
- 31:40Speaker 15: would be Christians do not pray for blessings for themselves.
- 31:43Speaker 15: They only pray to strip the blessings from everyone else
- 31:47Speaker 15: because they know that's the only way that they'll gain
- 31:49Speaker 15: access to anything. Not because they are pouring into the world,
- 31:52Speaker 15: but because they are taking from it. That's why they
- 31:56Speaker 15: claim that God's got it all under control, because things
- 31:59Speaker 15: are working out for them at the detriment of everyone
- 32:01Speaker 15: else around them, and that's the blessing that they pray
- 32:06Speaker 15: for every night.
- 32:08Speaker 16: That's why they don't mind that they have to pay a.
- 32:09Speaker 15: Little more at the pump, or that you know, they
- 32:12Speaker 15: take them a little longer to get through TSA because
- 32:15Speaker 15: for them, minor annoyances and inconveniences like that are nothing
- 32:19Speaker 15: compared to enjoying the suffering of other people that do not.
- 32:22Speaker 13: Look like them.
- 32:24Speaker 16: It was never about their lives being better, because for them,
- 32:29Speaker 16: being better only memes that our lives are negatively impacted
- 32:34Speaker 16: and we are suffering. That's what they consider a blessing.
- 32:40Speaker 15: I guarantee you every one of the white women that
- 32:42Speaker 15: you're suddenly seeing on your for you pages or feeds
- 32:44Speaker 15: talking about that they are very happy to give up
- 32:46Speaker 15: their right to vote in order to live in a
- 32:48Speaker 15: conservative nation are Christian women.
- 32:51Speaker 6: Christian women that have never actually read the Bible.
- 32:53Speaker 15: And before y'all try to educate them, please keep in
- 32:56Speaker 15: mind they know they haven't read the Bible. They do
- 32:58Speaker 15: not care what's in the Bible. The Bible would contradict
- 33:01Speaker 15: everything that they are saying and doing right now. These
- 33:04Speaker 15: are the same women that'll come on here and tell
- 33:06Speaker 15: you that, as a married woman, it's your godly obligation
- 33:10Speaker 15: to lay down with your husband whenever he wants, because
- 33:13Speaker 15: to them, sexual assault and abuse is ordained by God.
- 33:19Speaker 15: These women will also tell you that if that wasn't
- 33:22Speaker 15: your husband and he forced himself on you and you
- 33:25Speaker 15: happen to get pregnant in the process, that that baby
- 33:28Speaker 15: was a blessing to you, because again they think that
- 33:31Speaker 15: sexual abuse and trauma is ordained by God. There should
- 33:37Speaker 15: have never been a point where we reached across the
- 33:39Speaker 15: aisle with these type of people. There should have never
- 33:41Speaker 15: been a point where we debated and argued with them.
- 33:44Speaker 15: There should have only been a point where they were
- 33:46Speaker 15: locked away to never infect the rest of the public
- 33:49Speaker 15: with their cult like disease. Because this is exactly why
- 33:54Speaker 15: we ended up where we are and why so many
- 33:56Speaker 15: non white people are comfortable being there too, because y'all
- 33:59Speaker 15: brown as is believe that you're praying to the same
- 34:02Speaker 15: God that they are when they're the ones praying to
- 34:05Speaker 15: a demon and invited you to the fucking slaughter.
- 34:11Speaker 17: The Bible doesn't show favoritism.
- 34:13Speaker 18: Meanwhile, every time I turn around, you see women being
- 34:15Speaker 18: governed through male authority. Fathers deciding their futures, husbands controlling
- 34:20Speaker 18: their bodies, kings taking women, and don't forget laws being
- 34:24Speaker 18: written about women without women writing laws.
- 34:27Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 34:28Speaker 18: Shall we talk about Genesis nineteen and eight when Lot
- 34:31Speaker 18: offered up his daughter to the mob to protect male guests,
- 34:34Speaker 18: or should we talk about Jepartine Judges where he sacrificed
- 34:37Speaker 18: his daughter after making a vow to God? Or maybe
- 34:41Speaker 18: the instructions in the first Epistol the Corinthians or the
- 34:44Speaker 18: First Epistole to Timothy telling women to remain silent and submissive.
- 34:48Speaker 17: But I guess that sounds like divine neutrality to you.
- 34:51Speaker 18: The craziest part is how women still read these misinterpreted
- 34:55Speaker 18: texts and will accept a spiritual structure placing a man
- 34:58Speaker 18: between them and God, which is interesting because man doesn't
- 35:02Speaker 18: come before women in nature.
- 35:03Speaker 17: Life itself has to come through her. But let me
- 35:06Speaker 17: give you perspective.
- 35:07Speaker 18: If divine order was truly impartial, why did heaven always
- 35:11Speaker 18: reflect the social order of a male dominant civilization? And
- 35:15Speaker 18: I can't be the only one in history that notices
- 35:18Speaker 18: societies project their power structures onto heaven and then they
- 35:22Speaker 18: use heaven to validate the structures back on Earth, and
- 35:25Speaker 18: let's keep it real. If scripture was interpreted without favoritism,
- 35:29Speaker 18: sermons wouldn't revolve so heavily on preparing women for me.
- 35:33Speaker 18: They would equally work on the masculinity, creating the very problems.
- 35:36Speaker 17: Religion is teaching women to winder.
- 35:41Speaker 6: What's up, y'all?
- 35:42Speaker 1: It's time to throw that timeline. We're gonna talk about
- 35:51Speaker 1: everything educational, political, and entertainment, and we're going to.
- 35:59Speaker 6: Direct y'all this period, because that's what we like to do.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Drag and last mine are kind of interconnected and all
- 36:07Speaker 3: very political. Well, well, okay, I got one that's not political,
- 36:11Speaker 3: but go ahead, what you got how many?
- 36:14Speaker 6: I got two? In the possible? A possible?
- 36:16Speaker 1: I'll just go with the possible right now, because is
- 36:19Speaker 1: it possible that we can get.
- 36:21Speaker 6: Any more chaotic?
- 36:23Speaker 1: When I just seen on my social media timeline.
- 36:28Speaker 6: That blue Face and Chason is getting back a fuck together.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Okay, well, I have no idea. I still I refuse
- 36:37Speaker 3: to google these children.
- 36:39Speaker 19: I do.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I refuse. I don't care. You know what, I.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Hate it that said on last week, and that's probably
- 36:45Speaker 1: what JICKSI.
- 36:46Speaker 6: I just gave her her flowers.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Last week on the show. I got deleted.
- 36:53Speaker 6: She's turning her life around.
- 36:55Speaker 3: You know what you did?
- 36:56Speaker 6: You won her first match.
- 36:58Speaker 3: See that's God. What y'all call God? Ain't really God,
- 37:02Speaker 3: that's really God? Because see God was like, no, I'm
- 37:06Speaker 3: not Christan. You said what absolutely not this show. He'll
- 37:13Speaker 3: I'll be deleted. No, no, I'm deleted right back. He
- 37:29Speaker 3: had that holy scroll and broke that bitch. No, absolutely not.
- 37:34Speaker 3: You will don't say these things? No wow? Okay hmm.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Accord to the New York Times headline, secret Service officer
- 37:46Speaker 3: charged with the decent exposure at a Miami hotel. Have
- 37:50Speaker 3: you heard about this, miss lyric?
- 37:52Speaker 20: No?
- 37:53Speaker 6: What happened?
- 37:54Speaker 3: Huh? Okay, let's paint a picture right you as Secret
- 37:59Speaker 3: Service officer was arrested and charged with indecent exposure on
- 38:03Speaker 3: Sunday night after he was seen masturbating in the hallway
- 38:07Speaker 3: of a Miami hotel. According to the Miami Dad Sheriff's Office.
- 38:12Speaker 6: Well, a Secret Service agent is facing an indecent exposure
- 38:15Speaker 6: charge after being arrested at a Miami hotel.
- 38:17Speaker 21: I got some crazy allegations here that the person's on
- 38:20Speaker 21: administrative leave this morning. But let's walk you through what
- 38:23Speaker 21: folks are saying, here got hotel guests. They say that
- 38:26Speaker 21: the man you see here, John Spilman, followed them to
- 38:29Speaker 21: their hotel room Sunday night, dropped his pants, and then
- 38:32Speaker 21: they say he performed sexual acts. Well, they say they
- 38:36Speaker 21: even caught Spilman doing so when they arrived. He was
- 38:40Speaker 21: working as a security perimeter screening detail for screening detail
- 38:45Speaker 21: rather at Trump Doral for the president's visit, as he
- 38:48Speaker 21: attended the twenty twenty six Catholic Championship golf tournament.
- 38:52Speaker 13: Was off duty though when arrested.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Because we're a comedy podcast and we're gonna last shit
- 39:00Speaker 3: like that, it's it undermines the real actual situation here, Like, nah,
- 39:09Speaker 3: I can't, I can't even I can laugh at the
- 39:11Speaker 3: situation because my experiences shit like this randomly happens to me,
- 39:17Speaker 3: and because I'm me, I can handle it a little
- 39:21Speaker 3: bit better. So let's eat this a little bit. We
- 39:25Speaker 3: have a secret service detail that is directly tied to
- 39:30Speaker 3: our current administration to protect our current leader that is
- 39:36Speaker 3: allegedly accused of this type of shit. Just saying, you
- 39:42Speaker 3: want me to go next door, you.
- 39:45Speaker 1: No, because I want to talk about who the fuck
- 39:48Speaker 1: is running the White House Instagram page.
- 39:51Speaker 6: I really want to know, because did you.
- 39:53Speaker 1: See that They're facing backlash after mimicking Drake's new album cover.
- 40:01Speaker 3: The White House did not a.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Picture of a sign Michael Jackson Glove doing this sign?
- 40:09Speaker 6: Right?
- 40:09Speaker 3: Wait?
- 40:10Speaker 1: All black doing this sign against an all black background.
- 40:15Speaker 1: The White House took it upon themselves.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Look this up?
- 40:18Speaker 6: You steal that image? And what this.
- 40:23Speaker 3: White House backlash after memicking Drake's new album cover?
- 40:28Speaker 7: What oh mega maga on a Drake show his image
- 40:34Speaker 7: for his album cover and added a iced out chain
- 40:39Speaker 7: that says maga on it and posted it to their
- 40:43Speaker 7: Instagram page.
- 40:44Speaker 6: The White House White House Instagram.
- 40:48Speaker 3: You're not gonna like this? What if? What if? What if?
- 40:54Speaker 3: What if Kendrick told y'all what you should have heard
- 40:58Speaker 3: and you didn't hear it. What if?
- 41:01Speaker 6: Just I'm here. I don't have nothing to say that you.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Wait, where did you go?
- 41:15Speaker 16: I can't?
- 41:17Speaker 3: Are you.
- 41:19Speaker 6: Okay? Okay?
- 41:28Speaker 3: Speaking of music right, because that's what we talk about sometimes?
- 41:35Speaker 6: Oh my god, man, no more?
- 41:40Speaker 3: Okay? So have you? I made my way over to
- 41:46Speaker 3: e online this week Ray and I heard beat him down.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Brown's response to the criticism he's faced since the dropping
- 41:55Speaker 3: of his new his new album amid this tour, that
- 42:01Speaker 3: he a nurser.
- 42:03Speaker 14: We kicking the ass got dammit, we ain't letting up.
- 42:06Speaker 9: I'm gonna keep my foot on their neck and we
- 42:07Speaker 9: ain't stopping.
- 42:08Speaker 8: Chris Brown is clapping back at the haters after an
- 42:11Speaker 8: online publication left a scathing review of the singer's latest album, Brown,
- 42:15Speaker 8: calling it a quote piece of Chris takes to his
- 42:18Speaker 8: Instagram story's May twelve to say how he really feels
- 42:21Speaker 8: about the criticism.
- 42:23Speaker 22: I know people want me to get on here and
- 42:25Speaker 22: you know, say some shit that we kicking the ass
- 42:30Speaker 22: got dammit, we ain't letting up. I'm gonna keep my
- 42:32Speaker 22: foot on their neck and we ain't stopping.
- 42:34Speaker 8: Going on to say he still plans on going on
- 42:36Speaker 8: tour with us or in the coming months, the singer
- 42:38Speaker 8: even teases that he's got more things in the words.
- 42:42Speaker 22: Were doing this month tour more come. I'm not gonna
- 42:46Speaker 22: tell you what's more to come, but it's coming.
- 42:48Speaker 9: At the end of the day.
- 42:49Speaker 8: Chris end this message by telling anyone that doesn't like
- 42:52Speaker 8: the album to go listen to someone else.
- 42:54Speaker 22: I know exactly who my fans is, and I know
- 42:57Speaker 22: exactly who hearing this album. If you're not my fan,
- 43:00Speaker 22: I don't want you to listen to go listen to
- 43:02Speaker 22: the most It's all Larson with Somebody.
- 43:03Speaker 8: The singer's response came forward the after a Pitchfork published
- 43:06Speaker 8: their review of Chris's twenty seven track album, giving it
- 43:10Speaker 8: a one point three out of ten and calling it
- 43:12Speaker 8: a quote real. Piece of the article said, in part quote,
- 43:15Speaker 8: it isn't romantic or funny, or sexy or soul treat
- 43:18Speaker 8: It sold as hit chasing music with nothing going forward.
- 43:22Speaker 8: If you aren't personally invested in the Chris Brown culture, wars.
- 43:27Speaker 3: Enjoy girl Bye. I was never in danger click.
- 43:33Speaker 6: And play because I'm not interesting.
- 43:37Speaker 3: I never I was okay. First off, it took the
- 43:41Speaker 3: Internet to tell me that he was coming up with
- 43:43Speaker 3: an album. Because I'm not subscribed to anything that he's
- 43:47Speaker 3: a part of. I don't care. Mister Brown, you have
- 43:50Speaker 3: every reason for us to not support you because you've
- 43:56Speaker 3: never dealt with you. You are your own biggest obstacle
- 44:01Speaker 3: in my opinion, because you continue to be harmful. You
- 44:07Speaker 3: continue to be in the headlines, you continue to buy
- 44:12Speaker 3: your way through fame with harm. That's what you continue
- 44:18Speaker 3: to do in my humble opinion. So that's why I
- 44:21Speaker 3: don't personally support you and will not. I don't care
- 44:26Speaker 3: what you say. Your fans like your album. Your fans
- 44:29Speaker 3: know who you. I know who my fans is. Your
- 44:33Speaker 3: fans are the vulnerable. You like to see a whole
- 44:37Speaker 3: bunch of young and impressionable women in your crowd that
- 44:42Speaker 3: don't have the experience that those of us with a
- 44:45Speaker 3: little bit of season and a little bit of actual
- 44:49Speaker 3: experience have. So there you go.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Well well, well, well, well okay, let's see what I.
- 44:56Speaker 6: I mean, somebody's Netflix password.
- 45:02Speaker 3: I'm not gonna ask because I don't want an incriminated go.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Ahead, somebody dm Netflix fast words to some ship for myself.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 45:15Speaker 6: So apparently Kevin Hart.
- 45:20Speaker 3: I saw this on TikTok the only reason I didn't
- 45:26Speaker 3: need Netflix, and because TikTok was like, oh, ain't you
- 45:29Speaker 3: rage made it about this bullshit? So yeah, you don't
- 45:33Speaker 3: like Kevin Hart. I have never liked Kevin Hart. I
- 45:37Speaker 3: don't like Kevin Hart. I don't like Dave Chappelle. I
- 45:41Speaker 3: don't don't I don't even like Kat Williams. But I
- 45:44Speaker 3: believe that Kat is the only one out of the
- 45:49Speaker 3: entire bag of them celebrity coons. In my opinion, that
- 45:53Speaker 3: really is saying the things that need to be said,
- 45:56Speaker 3: because even Katz bought to some degree. And I get
- 45:59Speaker 3: it because I understand Kat's story. Kat was homeless for
- 46:04Speaker 3: years on the streets and had to just make shit happen.
- 46:08Speaker 6: I get Cat and adopted like eight children.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Yes, apparently Kevin Hart and Cat Williams had beef, I.
- 46:15Speaker 6: Mean real beef in yeah, but.
- 46:20Speaker 1: They invited Kat Williams to Kevin Hart's roast and Cat
- 46:25Speaker 1: Williams funniest ship. He started off by saying, damn, you
- 46:29Speaker 1: know you don't have no star power when Netflix and
- 46:32Speaker 1: writes your enemy listen.
- 46:36Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Apparently they squashed their beef live on television.
- 46:40Speaker 6: I want to see it for myself.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Because at the end of Kevin Hart extending the olive
- 46:46Speaker 1: ranch Kevin Car, Kevin says, fuck Kat Williams.
- 46:51Speaker 6: I don't know that reigned.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but see how that kind of spends it off.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Despite what Cat Williams said, I won't put a sound
- 47:02Speaker 3: clip right here on what Cat actually said.
- 47:05Speaker 10: For his ros.
- 47:10Speaker 23: Hello Kevin, Hello Cat. I'm surprised they invited me. That's
- 47:20Speaker 23: how little star power you have. They had to start
- 47:23Speaker 23: inviting your enemies.
- 47:26Speaker 14: I said, I hate him. They said, come.
- 47:28Speaker 23: Anyway, very humble of me to be at your goat
- 47:35Speaker 23: roast tonight, Kevin. I've wonted an Emmy award, but this
- 47:39Speaker 23: is gonna be my best acting tonight.
- 47:42Speaker 14: As I pretend like you are a.
- 47:44Speaker 23: Goat for the people at home, You're wondering, why is
- 47:49Speaker 23: the cat man doing this.
- 47:52Speaker 14: For the money, bitch?
- 47:55Speaker 23: This is my ri odd comedy festival, only one with
- 48:00Speaker 23: a soul.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Kevin, You're gonna.
- 48:04Speaker 23: Hear some things tonight that you're not familiar with. Those
- 48:07Speaker 23: things are called punchlines. Is this day it's the best
- 48:15Speaker 23: that the industry could put together for dear old ken
- 48:20Speaker 23: I'm not sure if the Illuminati is real or if
- 48:22Speaker 23: this is a junior varsity version.
- 48:25Speaker 3: But for those of you just.
- 48:32Speaker 23: Joining us, Kevin and I have beef, and I'll tell
- 48:37Speaker 23: you why, because privately, this motherfucker stole everything from me.
- 48:44Speaker 23: Before he saw my act. He was a six foot
- 48:46Speaker 23: three white man. I tried to tell y'all that Kevin
- 48:58Speaker 23: Hart was a plant because I keep burying him. He
- 49:03Speaker 23: keeps springing back.
- 49:05Speaker 14: The fuck up, just like a plant.
- 49:10Speaker 23: Yes, I said some things I'd like to take back.
- 49:14Speaker 23: Some things I said were misunderstood. I did say that
- 49:17Speaker 23: Kevin was a Hollywood puppet, and I want to explain that.
- 49:23Speaker 14: Because it might not be what you think.
- 49:25Speaker 23: I meant that the head of Netflix literally has his
- 49:29Speaker 23: whole hand up Kevin's ass and can make him do anything.
- 49:39Speaker 23: Kevin only has one rule in his movies, no inWORD,
- 49:45Speaker 23: and that in word is no. It's never fucking said it,
- 49:49Speaker 23: never ever, Scary Movie three right along.
- 49:54Speaker 14: Night School, Get Hard.
- 49:57Speaker 23: I turned down all of them because I was not comfortable.
- 50:01Speaker 14: Being a coon went right behind me for the same price.
- 50:11Speaker 23: If you're going to see a Kevin Hart movie, do
- 50:13Speaker 23: yourself a favorite. See it in a black theater so
- 50:15Speaker 23: you can hear words like I want my motherfucking money
- 50:18Speaker 23: back and I want my money back too, or this
- 50:23Speaker 23: is some bullshit, I want my money back. Even the
- 50:29Speaker 23: Rock can't save your ass. Kevin and the Rock have
- 50:34Speaker 23: what you call a bromance. That's when two actors secretly
- 50:39Speaker 23: fucked the shit out of each other. But seriously, how
- 50:49Speaker 23: can you not love Kevin? Only two people have done that,
- 50:54Speaker 23: me and his father. Kevin once said, if his son
- 50:59Speaker 23: was gay. He would take a dollhouse and hit him
- 51:02Speaker 23: over the head with it, which is arguably the gayest
- 51:05Speaker 23: way to.
- 51:06Speaker 14: Abuse a child.
- 51:16Speaker 23: But you cannot cancel Kevin Hart. You just can't do it.
- 51:21Speaker 23: He's made of tough flun They tried to cancel him
- 51:25Speaker 23: for being homophobic, and I don't get it. I'm saying,
- 51:28Speaker 23: the guy who's obsessed with shopping sprees and fitness, always
- 51:32Speaker 23: surrounded by ten dudes and Chelsea Handler and oiled up
- 51:36Speaker 23: half Samoan bodybuilders and a vegan restaurant and bought yoga pants.
- 51:42Speaker 14: You think that guy's homophobe?
- 51:44Speaker 6: That guy is a fairy bench is not.
- 51:48Speaker 14: That's a gays man.
- 51:49Speaker 23: I ever met you, Slay Queen, you do that. They
- 51:58Speaker 23: tried to cancel Kevin for the Diddy Park parties. They
- 52:02Speaker 23: hurled allegations at him, but thanks to all the baby
- 52:06Speaker 23: or the chargers didn't stick. Kevin famously was at a
- 52:16Speaker 23: brunch of a brunch. Kevin was at a bunch of
- 52:24Speaker 23: Diddy parties, but in his defense, it was only because
- 52:27Speaker 23: Diddy thought he was ten. Kevin even hosted a record
- 52:36Speaker 23: release party for p Diddy. There was a record number
- 52:39Speaker 23: of releases on the bed in the pool on the floor,
- 52:44Speaker 23: everywhere but the hopes. But I want to be clear,
- 52:50Speaker 23: just because Kevin went to Diddy parties does not mean
- 52:55Speaker 23: he did something wrong.
- 52:57Speaker 14: The fact that he gets all quiet when you bring
- 52:59Speaker 14: it up, that means he did something wrong. Yet people
- 53:13Speaker 14: give him awards.
- 53:18Speaker 23: Kevin, I have an idea for a movie where you
- 53:20Speaker 23: travel back in time and Mark Twain takes his motherfucking
- 53:24Speaker 23: award back and calls you the N word. Now, that's
- 53:28Speaker 23: a good movie, so I know you'll.
- 53:30Speaker 3: Pass on it.
- 53:34Speaker 6: Alright, Listen.
- 53:36Speaker 23: I could go on all night hating on Kevin Hart.
- 53:38Speaker 23: I have perfected it, but at some point you got
- 53:47Speaker 23: to look yourself in the mirror and say, do I
- 53:50Speaker 23: really wanna have beef with the rabbit Snowball from the
- 53:54Speaker 23: Secret Life of Pat Stew.
- 54:02Speaker 3: Yes?
- 54:02Speaker 23: I do, Kevin, Yes I do. Motherfucker would't even play
- 54:08Speaker 23: a black rabbit. Can you imagine the conary?
- 54:13Speaker 14: I'm out, good night and go ahead, thank y'all so much.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Yo, he didn't. I listened to this brother, and I
- 54:25Speaker 3: don't think that what he said was wrong.
- 54:30Speaker 6: He was clocking fucking tee he gave.
- 54:36Speaker 1: And that is the genius of Cat Williams. He knows
- 54:39Speaker 1: how to be funny but delivered the truth at the same.
- 54:43Speaker 3: Surgical It's almost surgical, isn't it.
- 54:46Speaker 1: It's just astronomically brilliant man just standing in front of
- 54:52Speaker 1: a crowd.
- 54:54Speaker 3: It's so surgical.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Sometimes it can go over people's heads because God, and.
- 55:00Speaker 6: You're not really paying attention to what the fuck.
- 55:03Speaker 3: He like for real?
- 55:05Speaker 6: Like I love Cat Williams.
- 55:08Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I ain't going that far.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I know he got his issues, but everybody got their
- 55:14Speaker 1: fucking issues. But that man has not let Hollywood tear
- 55:18Speaker 1: him or take away from him, and he's been standing
- 55:21Speaker 1: on businesses down.
- 55:23Speaker 3: And the more he will won't.
- 55:25Speaker 6: Do and conform to as a fucking black man in America.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know what, the more I get to
- 55:32Speaker 3: know about him, the more I'm inclined to listen to him.
- 55:37Speaker 3: So perhaps not a Shannon Sharp interview, but maybe let's
- 55:42Speaker 3: hear what you got, you know, I mean I can't,
- 55:45Speaker 3: but you know what that maybe is because I can't
- 55:48Speaker 3: understand No, Maybe because maybe because I can't stand Shake
- 55:55Speaker 3: and Sharp that I didn't hear Cat Williams. Maybe that's
- 55:59Speaker 3: what my.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Go back and listen to it. Please go back and
- 56:06Speaker 1: that's gonna be the homework.
- 56:10Speaker 6: Folk.
- 56:11Speaker 1: So much truth in that interview that it literally changed
- 56:17Speaker 1: the trow draft that year.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Let me write this down.
- 56:21Speaker 10: Hold on, you know, he.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Did not crack fucking the box open. He ripped that
- 56:31Speaker 1: bitch open like a badass.
- 56:34Speaker 6: Canday, it's fine.
- 56:36Speaker 3: I put it on and posted. Maybe ADHD will let
- 56:40Speaker 3: me do it. I don't know, we'll see, but listen.
- 56:47Speaker 3: I really enjoyed that part because I refuse to actually
- 56:54Speaker 3: pay attention to the way that Hollywood sells it. And
- 56:58Speaker 3: even with that, it was like, Okay, well, you know,
- 57:01Speaker 3: Kevin and Kat made up. I always wait until after. Honestly,
- 57:06Speaker 3: FOMO is a curse, y'all. I just oh fear missing out.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, I need it. I need it right now.
- 57:13Speaker 3: I need it when everybody's talking about it. I'm okay
- 57:16Speaker 3: with And maybe that's the ADHD gift, but I'm okay
- 57:20Speaker 3: with wait until the rest of y'all. I have said
- 57:23Speaker 3: what you got to say about it before I give
- 57:26Speaker 3: my opinion.
- 57:27Speaker 6: May though, I don't rush, like.
- 57:31Speaker 1: For instance, movies, everybody rushes out, rushed out to go
- 57:35Speaker 1: like see the Michael Jackson movie so they could do
- 57:37Speaker 1: their little content and put their little outfits together.
- 57:41Speaker 6: I'm like me, I don't feel like seeing I don't
- 57:44Speaker 6: want to see.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Y'all out love that into this. This is the BlackGirl magic.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Because I wanted to talk about the Michael movie.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Okay, it's cool to see you know down my timeline,
- 57:55Speaker 1: but if I'm spending my coin, I don't want to
- 57:58Speaker 1: see your broke down standing in front of the fucking
- 58:02Speaker 1: movie theater scream what I paid my good coin for and.
- 58:06Speaker 6: Trying to do the fucking mood walk. Get you sit
- 58:08Speaker 6: your black ass to fuck down.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Shut up. I chose to see it the week after
- 58:13Speaker 3: shout out the niggatree, right, because on my Mother's Day weekend,
- 58:18Speaker 3: I'm not gonna stay where I spent my Mother's Day weekend.
- 58:20Speaker 3: But when I spent my Mother's Day weekend, I was
- 58:23Speaker 3: in a place and they had the Michael movie on
- 58:26Speaker 3: their device, and I was like, okay, well, you know what,
- 58:31Speaker 3: I had no actual plans of actually going to see
- 58:35Speaker 3: this in theater, so I don't like Well, anyways, I
- 58:39Speaker 3: saw the Michael movie, right, did you see it?
- 58:41Speaker 6: Yeah? I saw it.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Tell me about your movie, your movie experience.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Are you gonna say you don't like it? Because that's
- 58:50Speaker 1: to me, it's one of the things you really do.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Got to sit in the theater and watch It's just
- 58:54Speaker 1: a different experience to me than watching it on a
- 58:58Speaker 1: phone or you know, because I watched playing stuff at
- 59:02Speaker 1: home and I'd be like, oh, I'm not watching that.
- 59:03Speaker 1: I'm watching that on my phone. But I wanted to
- 59:06Speaker 1: like really see that in theater. And I actually had
- 59:08Speaker 1: a good experience because, like I said, I watched it
- 59:11Speaker 1: the week after it was released, well a couple of days.
- 59:15Speaker 1: It was released that Friday. I think I saw it
- 59:17Speaker 1: on Monday or Tuesday, and I didn't have that mad
- 59:20Speaker 1: rush of people trying to like show up in their
- 59:23Speaker 1: Michael Jackson wiz and throw across rooms and people getting
- 59:26Speaker 1: up dancing and singing throughout the whole fucking movie like
- 59:30Speaker 1: some people were differing. Everybody was so chill, and we
- 59:33Speaker 1: actually got to watch the story unfold quietly. Of course,
- 59:37Speaker 1: people were clapping at certain parts, and that didn't really
- 59:40Speaker 1: FaZe me any because honestly, it was a great experience.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Nobody was doing too much. We just literally watched the
- 59:46Speaker 1: film and got to enjoy the film and the story
- 59:50Speaker 1: and how they put it together, and to me, I
- 59:53Speaker 1: liked the movie. I know they have to do a
- 59:54Speaker 1: part two because it was so much that they had
- 59:58Speaker 1: to like scrunch in for those two decades because they
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: only did what I want to say, the sixties, seventies,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: in the eighties, and they haven't even gotten to the
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: nineties and two thousand yet.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: The only part was I was cringey about was the
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: beginning where he was getting beat with the belt and
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: shit like. Of course everybody felt the way about that,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: but that was his life.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: Though.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: We can't leave out the bad parts just because we
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: don't want to see it and we want to cringe
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: from it. That was his life. That was what he
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: actually went through. So if you're going to tell the story,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: tell all the story all that.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: I felt like they didn't. I felt like they didn't
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: take well, okay, you know what. It wasn't a documentary though,
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: so we went to be entertained. But even in the
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: purpose that they went to entertain us, it really wasn't
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: anything that we couldn't dial up on Apple TV or
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Apple Music. Right now, It's really wasn't because it wasn't
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: like this kid was doing a different rendition of Michael,
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: which is what I kind of expected. I was like, oh, okay,
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: this is somebody from his family. Maybe he's a breakaway talent,
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: maybe he has some ship that maybe we don't see.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: And I got a little bit of that, But where
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: it mattered, I felt like, y'all kind.
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: Of I don't I don't think that's his fault though, no,
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: no it's not.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: It's not for this movie. It was of them.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You know, they didn't even mention her motherfucking ass because
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: she refused to sign.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: Over her rights to her like this exactly, Diana Ross.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: Exactly, So they couldn't put a lot in this. And
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: I get that. I feel like it's squeezing the Jackson,
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: the state a little bit about what assets you have
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: left that we can capitalize on. And it's less about
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: the impact of his music, the message of his music,
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: the talent of his music, which is what we should
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: be celebrating in art. And I felt like this was
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: nothing more than a cash grab. Y'all needed money and
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: what's the easiest way we can get it, because again,
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: you had so many people pulling away from this. Why
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: even make the movie if you can't tell this whole story?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if that's what your algorithm is
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: showing you. Mine is showing me the complete opposite. I'm
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: gonna have to be honest with you, honestly. More and
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: more celebrities are starting to come out and say how
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: they went too bad for him. Like Stephanie Mills, I
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: didn't know that she used to date Michael Jackson. Just
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: recently did an interview and she said she still got
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: beef for Oprah Remfrey and Gail to this day. For
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Oprah interviewing the so called fake victims of Michael Jackson,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: she said she had no business doing that. She knew
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: it was a lie, but she wanted to capitalize on
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: it in the moment. She said she knew that it
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: was wrong. She actually knew Michael. She knew him for
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the person, not for the music, not for the glam,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: not for the entertainment. She knew him as a person,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and for her to go out there and do the
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: things that she did for a paycheck was disgusting. She
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: said to this day, if she see Oprah, she ain't
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: gonna speak to her like they have beef.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: She don't funk with that lead.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: And what article did you read this?
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: Huh?
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: What article did you read this?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: She was on her She was on somebody's radio show podcast.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I've just seen it talk.
- 1:03:28Speaker 24: About your first boyfriend, because well, you're who you was
- 1:03:31Speaker 24: their first girlfriend, I should say, Michael Jackson.
- 1:03:34Speaker 25: Is that your He was definitely.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: As his girl.
- 1:03:48Speaker 26: That I'm like you said it because I read that
- 1:03:54Speaker 26: you would frequently call him the N word.
- 1:03:56Speaker 27: Oh absolutely, And people said, how could you call the
- 1:04:01Speaker 27: king of He wasn't the king of prophet.
- 1:04:02Speaker 17: I mean he was, you.
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: Know, manifesting it.
- 1:04:05Speaker 25: But I mean Michael and I were friends.
- 1:04:07Speaker 27: I stayed with him when he was filming the Wiz
- 1:04:10Speaker 27: movie or certain place.
- 1:04:12Speaker 25: And he's not a pedophile. I don't want nobody to.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: Talking about nobody.
- 1:04:16Speaker 15: I think that.
- 1:04:17Speaker 25: Okay, he was just a cool dude. He was just
- 1:04:21Speaker 25: smiled and cool.
- 1:04:22Speaker 24: But how did he keep the peace between you? And
- 1:04:24Speaker 24: because there's rumors that him and Diana Ross had something
- 1:04:27Speaker 24: going on at the time.
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: So y'all you said many times that you.
- 1:04:32Speaker 24: Loved Diana Ross.
- 1:04:33Speaker 14: Is that just for faith?
- 1:04:34Speaker 17: No?
- 1:04:34Speaker 27: No, no, I loved Diana Ross, but we were never
- 1:04:37Speaker 27: in the same place with Michael at the same time.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: Well, he was a slick player, then that's why, right, And.
- 1:04:50Speaker 25: I mean he used to just laugh. Yeah.
- 1:04:55Speaker 24: I mean, let's talk about it though, because then you
- 1:04:57Speaker 24: have the whiz right, which I'm at that time.
- 1:05:00Speaker 28: Was a very very big deal.
- 1:05:02Speaker 24: And one thing I'm gonna say, there's a lot of
- 1:05:04Speaker 24: people that came out and sung home, but it ain't
- 1:05:07Speaker 24: nobody singing home like you sung home like you got
- 1:05:10Speaker 24: the ultimate version. Okay, so now you sung home better?
- 1:05:15Speaker 20: Okay?
- 1:05:17Speaker 14: Did you bring that up? Like, did you say it
- 1:05:19Speaker 14: never came.
- 1:05:20Speaker 27: Out Diana because we were into what we were doing.
- 1:05:24Speaker 25: Diana never came up when.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: I was with Michael.
- 1:05:28Speaker 24: Wow, So how was it like dating him?
- 1:05:31Speaker 14: Like was he like, what.
- 1:05:33Speaker 28: Was your first date?
- 1:05:34Speaker 21: Like?
- 1:05:34Speaker 27: But you know it wasn't well I could I'll say
- 1:05:37Speaker 27: this our first date he had an interview with Andy Walker, okay,
- 1:05:41Speaker 27: and we went to that. I went to that with him,
- 1:05:44Speaker 27: and then we went to a show at Radio City
- 1:05:47Speaker 27: and we dressed tolike we had on brown velvet. And
- 1:05:53Speaker 27: see the thing about it is I would tell Michael like,
- 1:05:57Speaker 27: I'm gonna wear what you're gonna wear, and you're gonna wear.
- 1:06:00Speaker 25: I would tell him like, we're gonna match.
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:06:08Speaker 25: I was like, I don't know.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: I guess I was kind of bossy.
- 1:06:12Speaker 28: I was I was bossy.
- 1:06:14Speaker 27: I would breik his hair at night, and and I
- 1:06:16Speaker 27: cooked him some rice one time and I didn't really know,
- 1:06:19Speaker 27: but it was watering. And he was like he thought
- 1:06:22Speaker 27: LaToya cooked because Viatoria was standing there.
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: He was like, LaToya, this was like, I didn't cook you.
- 1:06:29Speaker 25: Step anyway. He was fun, he was He was nothing
- 1:06:38Speaker 25: like the media tries to make him.
- 1:06:40Speaker 27: And it really broke his heart when they put all
- 1:06:43Speaker 27: these yeah charges, Yeah, liked being around children because children
- 1:06:49Speaker 27: didn't want anything from him.
- 1:06:50Speaker 13: That's right.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: Oh they had.
- 1:06:52Speaker 27: He had a lot of people in his pocket, and
- 1:06:55Speaker 27: you know, they wanted everything, but children didn't. They just
- 1:06:58Speaker 27: wanted to have fun.
- 1:06:59Speaker 26: They were genuine.
- 1:07:00Speaker 24: I like how you spoke out against Oprah and the
- 1:07:03Speaker 24: thing she was doing as far as she was interviewing
- 1:07:06Speaker 24: alleged victims or the family, and you spoke out and
- 1:07:10Speaker 24: you basically said that she was wrong for doing he
- 1:07:14Speaker 24: was wrong.
- 1:07:14Speaker 27: She still is wrong. And I said, yeah, I'm not
- 1:07:17Speaker 27: apologizing for it.
- 1:07:19Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:07:19Speaker 25: And I didn't like the way Gail was talking about Kobe, who.
- 1:07:26Speaker 27: He just that I didn't wanted to bring up, you know,
- 1:07:28Speaker 27: something that happened in the past.
- 1:07:29Speaker 25: This man had just lost his life.
- 1:07:30Speaker 27: You want to ask Lisa Leslie about some mess in
- 1:07:34Speaker 27: a hotel?
- 1:07:35Speaker 28: Yeah, I didn't like the way she.
- 1:07:37Speaker 26: Did a Kelly, Have you ever had a conversation with
- 1:07:39Speaker 26: them about what you just said? No, before we move
- 1:07:41Speaker 26: off of Mike real quick and the fact you guys
- 1:07:43Speaker 26: have data, obviously I didn't, you know, move on into
- 1:07:46Speaker 26: the future. But have you ever thought about how talented
- 1:07:49Speaker 26: a child would be if y'all stayed together got married?
- 1:07:52Speaker 29: Wow?
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: What kind of child would that be?
- 1:07:55Speaker 25: What kind of child would that I should have stayed
- 1:07:57Speaker 25: around and had a child.
- 1:08:02Speaker 28: That would have been a beautiful Have you ever thought
- 1:08:04Speaker 28: about that?
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: Beautiful?
- 1:08:05Speaker 25: I thought about it.
- 1:08:06Speaker 27: You know, I thought about it because when we went
- 1:08:09Speaker 27: to the opening of the hotel and they invited everybody, Uh,
- 1:08:16Speaker 27: Michael was there and he asked to see me, and
- 1:08:19Speaker 27: I was performing, so I was doing the rehearsal, but
- 1:08:22Speaker 27: I never went back to see him. I regret that
- 1:08:24Speaker 27: I should have went back to see what he wanted,
- 1:08:26Speaker 27: because maybe we would have had a baby.
- 1:08:28Speaker 24: That's why I know. I mean, I don't know if
- 1:08:35Speaker 24: this is a little too much, but I'm gonna go
- 1:08:36Speaker 24: ahead and push the button.
- 1:08:37Speaker 13: Anyway.
- 1:08:38Speaker 16: Was it good and better?
- 1:08:40Speaker 24: He said, good girls, I'm so excited about Okay, my
- 1:08:52Speaker 24: last question about Michael Jesson, I'm sorry because I know
- 1:08:55Speaker 24: we have to move on.
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: But did he write any songs about you?
- 1:08:57Speaker 24: They said Dirty Diana was about Diana or I don't
- 1:09:00Speaker 24: know if that's true, But did he have any about you?
- 1:09:03Speaker 27: No, we were gonna write together, but then something happened
- 1:09:06Speaker 27: and we didn't write together. And then I went on
- 1:09:10Speaker 27: to have my career and the only time I came
- 1:09:13Speaker 27: back to Michael was when he did the Bad Video
- 1:09:15Speaker 27: because my best friend choreographed the Bad video Wow, and
- 1:09:19Speaker 27: I flew in to see them do the Bad video,
- 1:09:21Speaker 27: and that was my first time when he.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Was Also, I feel like, oh, his streams have went up.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: His streams have went up. People have been just celebrating
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: his music. And honestly, even before this movie came out,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: let's be clear, Michael Jackson's presence and legacy has always
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: been felt throughout the years. I've seen constant videos even
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: before this movie was thought of of people dressing like him,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: singing his songs, people playing his music for their babies,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and the baby's vibing out that baby.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: You'll no, no, Michael, you don't know nothing. I know,
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: Michael Jason won't even.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: Thought of it's girl girl. It's my opinion it's a girl.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: It's my opinion that that is the coach tail that
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: Chris Brown wrote himself off of. Because Chris as far
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: as vocal range, we can have an educated debate about it. However,
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: when we talk about actual talent, y'all like the way
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: that Chris moved because you thought that how in the
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: industry was promoting that it was like Michael Jackson, but
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: very much so was not. Mike had a vibe that
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: was original to him because of the knowledge and the
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: experiences and the shit that he absorbed. That's who he was.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: And I felt like this movie for me short changed that.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I just feel like, if it wasn't Michael Jackson himself,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you're not gonna get perfection.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: And I say that can't be application.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: He was perfect, but he can't be duplicated or replicated.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: That man is legendary. That man was iconic.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: That man came with a purpose on this earth, and
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: he was somebody that we will never see again in
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: this lifetime ever.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: Talent wise, wise.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Influence, influential. He's the first influencer. Get the fuck out
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: of my face.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: He made all of what y'all aspired to be. No,
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: he made.
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: Michael Jackson, he made it ship. He made shit.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Shape in every way, shape and form. All right, uh,
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: next story. I have one more, which guy.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Speaking of things that may be beneficial.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: Stephanie, don't block, I'm blocking. You were blocked? You are?
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: Do you know that in the nineteen forties?
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: No? No, oh, no.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Okay, butt plugs were marketed as a headache remedy.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: No like in the nineteen forties, but we're marketed as
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: a headache remedy according to what this looks like? Tmz?
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: Is this tmz? No, it's not what website did you
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: get this round?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: This is a real thing that a website has kept
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: back in the nineteen forties, and some think even back further.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: What plugs were sold as rectal dilators. They were not
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: marketed as sex toys, but as a miracle headache remedy
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and treatments for everything from insomnia and acne to nervousness
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: and even insanity. They were invented by a nineteenth century
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: figure known as doctor Young. The ideal rector dilators so
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: and graduated sets and advertises cures for a range a
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: wild range of conditions. The bad breath constant okay, and anxiety.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: Did you know?
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: I did not, And I hate that you used my
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: mental space to invade with this.
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: They're a pain in my ask.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: No, that is not no, it's literally it's a pain
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: in my ass because I should probably be seen by
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: a physician because of the pain in my ass. Okay, well,
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: we've troubed, We're moving on. We'll be right back.
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: I just got a question, and roll with me on
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: this one.
- 1:13:50Speaker 19: If white supremacists actually feel like they're supreme, why do
- 1:13:53Speaker 19: they have to work so hard to try to make
- 1:13:55Speaker 19: everything difficult for black people? I really wish I was joking,
- 1:13:59Speaker 19: but they near everything that complicates daily life for everybody
- 1:14:03Speaker 19: was just to deny black people access. Credit scores were
- 1:14:06Speaker 19: a means to stop black people from getting loans to
- 1:14:08Speaker 19: be able to buy homes and to be able to
- 1:14:09Speaker 19: start businesses. Marriage licenses weren't instituted until they wanted to
- 1:14:13Speaker 19: stop interracial marriage. Most colleges were free until desegregation. You
- 1:14:18Speaker 19: didn't even have a bar exam to become a lawyer
- 1:14:21Speaker 19: until the Reconstruction era because so many black people were
- 1:14:25Speaker 19: getting law degrees. Bridges were purposely built lower in some
- 1:14:28Speaker 19: areas to deny people from public transit access and to
- 1:14:32Speaker 19: deny people from being able to get too richer areas
- 1:14:35Speaker 19: more wealthy areas with that public transit, which also ended
- 1:14:39Speaker 19: up denying them from certain job opportunities. So your options
- 1:14:43Speaker 19: were limited. And now if you just happen to live
- 1:14:46Speaker 19: in one of those broke areas and you don't have
- 1:14:48Speaker 19: a car, the same thing still applies no matter what
- 1:14:51Speaker 19: color you are. We already know that cops got their
- 1:14:54Speaker 19: origins and slave patrols, tracking and controlling where black people
- 1:14:57Speaker 19: went and where they were allowed to go, and bringing
- 1:14:59Speaker 19: them back to where they wanted them to be if
- 1:15:01Speaker 19: they've somehow got out of that region, you feel what
- 1:15:04Speaker 19: I'm saying. And in California only passed anti open carry
- 1:15:10Speaker 19: gun laws because the black panthers were open carrying in
- 1:15:14Speaker 19: front of these cops and basically telling them what the
- 1:15:16Speaker 19: hell you.
- 1:15:16Speaker 10: Gonna do about it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 19: Usually people who feel supreme to another group of people don't.
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: Have so much fear in their heart.
- 1:15:24Speaker 19: They usually don't feel like they have to deny people
- 1:15:27Speaker 19: access because if we have the same access, you would
- 1:15:30Speaker 19: really be able to show how supreme you are because
- 1:15:33Speaker 19: you would outdo us in everything if we had the
- 1:15:35Speaker 19: same access.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:15:37Speaker 10: But that's the problem.
- 1:15:38Speaker 19: You're afraid that we would outdo you in everything mentally,
- 1:15:43Speaker 19: the same way we outdo you and everything physically. It's
- 1:15:46Speaker 19: the same reason they constantly prop up athletes and musicians,
- 1:15:49Speaker 19: you know, people that entertained, because that's what we're good
- 1:15:51Speaker 19: for a little tap dancing for the white man. But
- 1:15:53Speaker 19: they won't tell you about James Baldwin, er Angela Davis
- 1:15:57Speaker 19: or W. E. B.
- 1:15:58Speaker 10: Du Bois or you know those.
- 1:16:00Speaker 19: You a couple of Langston huge poems, but they won't
- 1:16:02Speaker 19: really dive into it and really tell you what he's
- 1:16:04Speaker 19: talking about for real, because he's talking about them and
- 1:16:06Speaker 19: talking about our strength and intellect as black people. They
- 1:16:09Speaker 19: don't want to tell you about Patrice Lamumba or how
- 1:16:12Speaker 19: Mulmar Gadaffi tried to unite all Africa because that would
- 1:16:16Speaker 19: show you that you have some power. That would show
- 1:16:18Speaker 19: you that you know, when your people come together, they
- 1:16:20Speaker 19: can really do something. Nah nah, oh, you're good for
- 1:16:24Speaker 19: sports and dancing and singing. Right. This is exactly why
- 1:16:28Speaker 19: I say that it's not white supremacy, it's white narcissism,
- 1:16:34Speaker 19: which is actually white fragility rooted in a massive inferiority complex.
- 1:16:40Speaker 19: A lot of y'all really just need to go to
- 1:16:41Speaker 19: therapy so you can grow yourself worth.
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: Oh pooky, why do you have broid?
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:16:50Speaker 15: Why?
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: Why do my children hate me? Are Real Radio? Why
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: Barn is out.
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: There explaining the unexplained. We're answering why to the questions

- 1:17:10Speaker 3: emails all the time at WRTR Real Talk. I'm sorry,
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: no WRTR radio at gmail dot com. Shit, that was
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: a throwback from the old days. M yeah, this is
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: the wifiles. Remember the truth is out there. You first, please.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Sure sure sure? My why comes from me? Yeah, I know,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I don't X surprise this week and shocked.
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: My why comes from me? And my why is as such?
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Why is Facebook having all these porno ads on it?
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Every time I get the fuck on there and I'm
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: looking at a real next thing, I know, I'm seeing
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: an ad for a honey tune. I'm seeing a pornographic
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: like fucking story my steps, the time I slept with
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: my stepfather, all times so weirdo.
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: Shit, like what the fuck is that with that?
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: But then when I post my winnings at the fucking
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: casino and I'm saying I won this that, and the
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: third you're talking about something I offended the community and
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I'm getting.
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: Flagged, Like what the fuck is y'all on? But y'all
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: got porn on?
- 1:18:21Speaker 27: You?
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: M make that shit? Make the fuck make sense?
- 1:18:25Speaker 16: No?
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: It actually it kind of does when you think about
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: how this oligarchy is taking people's minds and how the
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: shit they're trying to feed to you everything is such
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: sex sell ooh look and this is my dirty little
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: secret expells and blah blah blah. It's like they're fetishizing trauma.
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: It's it's weird.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: Fucking weird. You don't fetishize trauma, you dirty bitch as
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: you work down that shit with a counselor what do
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: you mean?
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: Like I can't even go on Facebook marketplace to see
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: if I can get a deal on something well seeing
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: a fucking add for a dildo or something.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: Like what the fuck is y'all on? Like for real?
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: So strange? And why why because y'all the nasty That's why?
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: And the truth is fucking out and it.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: Should be, but it ain't. I got a weird why
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: files question from the very red state of Texas, but
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: why question for podcasts in the subject line and this
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: wasn't a white question. Okay, but I'm gonna read it
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: anyways because it's interesting. Hey, y'all, I enjoy listening to
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: the episodes. I've learned a lot from listening to you both.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: I have two questions I wanted to hear. Okay, no,
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: I'm not reading that. I'm meant to omit that part.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: He wants to hear about my coming out story. I'm
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: I'm I don't know that I'm ready to give that publicly.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: So I ran into an old classmate and I haven't
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: seen or heard that I haven't seen or heard about
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: in years at the Chilies, I'm going to be real
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: that I knew that he's gay because they used to
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: make fun of him back in school. Plus he tried
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: to hit on me way back when we talked in
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: the bar. We talked in the bar for at least
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: three hours, talking about everything from old classmates to sports
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: to this maga bullshit. It was a good call though.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: We were both kind of lit and he didn't drive,
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: so we stood outside until his ride pulled up. As
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: we were saying our goodbyes, I gave him a hug
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: and just leaned in the kiss now not a quick
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: peck on the lips, but full long kissdom right after
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: I kind of low key skippity dude after. I feel
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: weird though I've never really liked guys, but I do
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: think he's cool as shit. He seems smart as fuck,
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: and I actually had a lot of fun with him.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Kept me laughing the whole time. I'm kind of scared
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: I'm going on Instagram or Facebook because I know he
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: sent me a message. I will be thankful for any
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: advice you have for me. So yeah, that is from
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: again Kent from Texas. Why are you glaring at me,
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: mis lyric? What advice would you give? Straight?
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: My segment is over, sir, This is all on you.
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: I don't have an advice segment, he asked.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: He said, listen, this is all on you. You go
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: right on the head, sir.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: Fine, Okay, what I will say is that if you're curious,
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: go with it. Who cares about the stigmas. Everybody comes
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: to you ship in their own time. Maybe you'll like him.
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: Maybe you won't. I don't know. I wouldn't recommend porn
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: because of the last shit we just talked about, But
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: I would just say that if your connection with somebody
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: as an individual is individual, and that is the energy
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: that it brought you to experience it, why are you
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: feeling shame? Because well, I'm sorry. Why are you feeling shame? Period?
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: And the answer I believe is because society tells us
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: that we should be shameful of anything that brings us
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: joy and pleasure. While you're sold what the image of
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: what you should have, that's what you're sold. But then
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: you look at what everybody out here is actually doing
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: versus what actually everybody's experiencing, and they are two very
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: different experiences. So I will, I guess, challenge you to
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: explore that thought process a little bit. Maybe be like,
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: you know what, I kind of like this person. Let
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: me see what it goes with. Maybe I don't have
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: to wave a rainbow flag out here in the streets
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: and fight for y'all. I don't know, trans but at
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: the end of the day, maybe I understand my experience
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: a little. Y'all keep projecting what you feel on other people.
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: This man just wrote us and told us what he
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: did and what he was feeling in that moment. And
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: now he's so devoutly pushed away the other person. Why
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: why did you push that other person away? Why are
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: they demonized for the pleasure that you feel?
- 1:23:46Speaker 9: Why?
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: Because maybe the truth is out there.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: For you, Brother Hurrie.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: That wraps up for this week's Wildfiles. Y'all knew the socials.
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: Let's get gross up next. He's making noxious.
- 1:24:02Speaker 30: So we talked about withdrawing our energy, and we also
- 1:24:05Speaker 30: talked about us being out organized. Now let's talk about
- 1:24:09Speaker 30: what we actually need to do. Because if we took
- 1:24:11Speaker 30: our energy back and we don't redirect it, then what
- 1:24:14Speaker 30: was the point? What was the point? Yeah, we cannot
- 1:24:20Speaker 30: pour back into a system that was never designed for
- 1:24:23Speaker 30: us to thrive. And I need y'all to really hear
- 1:24:25Speaker 30: me when I say this capitalism as it functions, patriarchy, massage, noir, massogyny.
- 1:24:33Speaker 30: These are systems built on extraction, on force, on in balance,
- 1:24:39Speaker 30: and we keep trying to win inside system that require
- 1:24:43Speaker 30: our loss. And let's be honest, we've been doing it
- 1:24:45Speaker 30: their way for a long time, a long time, and.
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: Baby, it ain't working.
- 1:24:52Speaker 28: It ain't working.
- 1:24:53Speaker 30: So what does it look like when we do something different. Well,
- 1:24:56Speaker 30: it looks like bartering, It looks like circulating our dollar. Intentionally,
- 1:25:01Speaker 30: it looks like building our own networks, our own systems,
- 1:25:04Speaker 30: our own infrastructure.
- 1:25:06Speaker 28: It looks like co ops.
- 1:25:08Speaker 30: Even if we start small, because everything big, great, magnificent,
- 1:25:15Speaker 30: Baby it started small. Yeah, and y'all already know it looks.
- 1:25:21Speaker 13: Like motherfucking gatekeeping.
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: Stop sharing our shit with everybody.
- 1:25:26Speaker 30: And I'm gonna say this again. If you have not
- 1:25:28Speaker 30: read A Sky Full of Elephants, you need to because
- 1:25:33Speaker 30: it pushes you to imagine a different way of existing.
- 1:25:36Speaker 30: And that's where we are right now. We have to
- 1:25:39Speaker 30: think differently so we can move differently. Because the truth
- 1:25:43Speaker 30: is what we feed grows. If we keep feeding a
- 1:25:47Speaker 30: broken system, they will continue to thrive. But if we
- 1:25:50Speaker 30: shift and start feeding each other, then, baby, that changes everything.
- 1:25:54Speaker 30: And I'm gonna say something that some folks might get
- 1:25:56Speaker 30: uncomfortable with, but y'all already know it is what it is.
- 1:26:00Speaker 30: We have to stop getting distracted, stay focused. Every time
- 1:26:06Speaker 30: we center, well what about or not?
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: All, we lose focus.
- 1:26:12Speaker 30: We can't be concerned with out liars. This moment requires
- 1:26:16Speaker 30: us to stay on our channel. This is about us,
- 1:26:22Speaker 30: This ain't about hey, that's the strategy. This ain't no
- 1:26:26Speaker 30: cooon by y'all with everybody. I know that's gonna make
- 1:26:30Speaker 30: some people mad. It is what it is. And let
- 1:26:34Speaker 30: me be very clear. I'm not saying be unjust. I'm
- 1:26:37Speaker 30: not even saying be harmful, but I am saying it's
- 1:26:41Speaker 30: time to be intentional. It's time to choose us fully
- 1:26:46Speaker 30: because if we don't, we will keep repeating.
- 1:26:48Speaker 10: A cycle that was never meant to serve us.
- 1:26:54Speaker 30: Stay focused, y'all, all right, good people, drink your water,
- 1:26:58Speaker 30: stay rooted, real and nological, and mind your black business.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: So used to make you nauseous. On w rtie are
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: Real Talk Radio, Let's go.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Some of the stories you might not read about the
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: New York Times, the Washington Post or the Wall Street
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: Journals news to make you nauseous, mister ladies.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: First, okay, so this one, it's very disturbing. I'm gonna
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: put a trigger warning. This is the trigger warning because
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: you have young children and you're disturbed by dastardy, which
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: I'm sure people are, but if you're especially sensitive, you
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: probably want to skip this part because this is treacherous, diabolical, bitch.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: I hope she gets the death.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: I amriologized.
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: Say what Florida, Say what A Florida mother.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Natalie Wagner from Port Saint Lucie was sentenced to twenty
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: one can executive life terms in prison. Lush an additional
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: eight hundred years. Convicted on over eight eighty criminal counts,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: she was found guilty of sexually abusing her toddlers and

- 1:28:22Speaker 1: and three year old children on Snapchat, charging between five
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: and fifty dollars per video. She was convicted of charges
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: including incests, using a child in a sexual performance and
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: transmitting child pornography. Wow the case was initiated. It was
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: initiated by two tips sent to Snapchat, which were forwarded
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: sub subsequently traced to the IP address in Port Saint
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: lucij sentencing Because of the extreme severrity of the crimes,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: prosecutors declined to offer any plea deals and the judge
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: handed down the maximum possible sentence as.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: The judge should have. Because you gross, disgusting bitches, What.
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: Do you mean, yeah, that's it, that's all die. I
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: your mother first.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: How could you do that to your fucking child? How
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: could you do that to any child? I just don't understand.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: And mind you that the husband was in the house
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: at the time.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: Like what the fuck?
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Oh baby, the way I would have just put a
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: bullet in that bitch and just let me shut up.
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: I'm staying too.
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: Much either way. Gross, Okay, I'm looking on NBC Connecticut
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: dot com all right. Worse.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: Some people just don't deserve to be fun and facing
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: this planet.
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: Say what, Meridian, Connecticut, say what. Meridian police have arrested
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: a woman accused of sexually abusing a dog. Authorities began
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: an investigation on April sixth, missed lyric. They obtained an
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: arrest warrant for forty five year Wait, that is my
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: age and I'm not touching dog. Okay. They obtained an
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: arrest warrant for forty five year old Christina Kennedy. She
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: turned herself in to police on Wednesday. The dog was
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: brought to a veterinarian and was found to not have
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: any injuries. Two cats were also taken from the home,
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: and Meridian is petitioning take custody of the cats in
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Florida court on Friday, because listen, I get it, I
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: was fucking the dog, but I mean my cat.
- 1:31:12Speaker 16: Oh my god, for real, You're.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: Not gonna take my cat, ye know. Kennedy is charged
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: with sexual assault of an animal, creating slash, distributing pornography.
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: She was released on a ten thousand dollars bond, once
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: again proving because listen, if I am accused of some
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: funck shit right now as a black man, and they
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: put my bail it ten thousand dollars, I'm not being
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: released because I don't have ten thousand dollars just sitting around.
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: But this bitch does fucking dogs. Apparently may never mind. Okay, well,
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: I mean because you know, I mean, I guess the
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: truth was out there last segment, but that's just making
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: me noxious.
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: I mean, I forgot to tell y'all this.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: Not only did she do these things to toddlers and
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: baby damn one one years old, she also made videos
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: of the family dog as well.
- 1:32:23Speaker 6: What the fuck is wrong with y'all doing stuff.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: Disgusting? This is sick?
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: You know what else?
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I really hope that they find out who purchased these
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: things too, and lock they asks up.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: Too, because but meanwhile, your algorithms are feeding you that
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: trans people that have no dictation whatsoever on your life,
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: only on what they want to do with their bodies
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: and their lives. Those are the people that's being that
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: are being weaponized and demonized against you. You're being fed
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: that gaze and people that have consensual same sex interactions
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: are the demons, while other people are normalizing and even
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: putting into a book that has all kind of incests.
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: That's what y'all are feeding to yourselves. And if you
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: want these and more nauseating news stories, make sure you
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: follow us over on the socials at WRTR Radio. We're
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: on Blue Sky and I'm over on Blue Sky at
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: Marcus Smoot and on TikTok at Marcus dot.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Smoot, and you can find me on Facebook, Instagram and
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: TikTok at a lyric pravitel.
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: So since she on our deleted episode last week, it
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: was she had such a good conversation, y'all, I swear
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: if I can ever retrieve it, I will post it
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: and I will just post it and label it lost
- 1:34:03Speaker 3: episode in asterisks. But if it doesn't.
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: Happen, now we're gonna lame it lost files go, Oh.
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: My god, it was so bad. Up next on real Talk,
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: we're talking about these age of disclosure videos on TikTok.
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: Because I wanted to be a little silly and less deep,
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: because I'm in my mind, all right, we'll be up
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: and next we'll be right.
- 1:34:29Speaker 9: Back a sober and thought that I had at work today.
- 1:34:33Speaker 20: I just started this job, so they decided to give
- 1:34:36Speaker 20: me a badge today. And after we got done taking
- 1:34:39Speaker 20: a picture for the badge and he printed the badge off,
- 1:34:40Speaker 20: he closed the window and on the computer desktop screen
- 1:34:44Speaker 20: was a picture of a beach and I said, wow,
- 1:34:47Speaker 20: working here, I will never be able to afford to
- 1:34:49Speaker 20: go there. And it absolutely just brought me back down
- 1:34:54Speaker 20: to reality. I honestly believe by the end of the
- 1:34:57Speaker 20: month that people will not even be able to afford
- 1:34:59Speaker 20: to go to work because of gas prices. Gas prices
- 1:35:02Speaker 20: comes to fluctuating.
- 1:35:03Speaker 9: Up and down.
- 1:35:04Speaker 20: I literally just paid the other half of my April
- 1:35:07Speaker 20: rent yesterday. Today is the first and I don't have
- 1:35:11Speaker 20: even a quarter of this rent, so I may not
- 1:35:14Speaker 20: be paying the rent altogether. A lot of people have
- 1:35:17Speaker 20: been asking, like, how can we support you? I don't
- 1:35:18Speaker 20: want individual help because individual help everybody doesn't have access
- 1:35:22Speaker 20: to that, so don't I don't want access to what
- 1:35:26Speaker 20: other people don't have. Like, what I want is an
- 1:35:27Speaker 20: overall solution. I want an overall action being taken. Fortunately,
- 1:35:31Speaker 20: the responses that I've been getting to this video have
- 1:35:33Speaker 20: been like overwhelmingly positive. There's like a five percent of
- 1:35:37Speaker 20: people who have said something negative. That doesn't really matter
- 1:35:41Speaker 20: because I guarantee you if any benefits come from this,
- 1:35:44Speaker 20: they're not going to turn it down.
- 1:35:45Speaker 9: People aren't getting to their wits end.
- 1:35:47Speaker 20: A lot of people are going to snap, like there
- 1:35:49Speaker 20: are still there are still layoffs that are happening, like
- 1:35:52Speaker 20: in this economy, people are still CEOs are still.
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: Planning to lay people on.
- 1:35:57Speaker 20: People are going to snap because people work on for
- 1:35:59Speaker 20: the very little that they actually do have, and they
- 1:36:02Speaker 20: don't want to see that be taken away. And if
- 1:36:07Speaker 20: these people lose their shit, then they're gonna lose their shit.
- 1:36:11Speaker 20: And if these people lose their shit, then somebody's gonna
- 1:36:13Speaker 20: lose their shit.
- 1:36:14Speaker 9: And that's literally all it is. I don't know why
- 1:36:17Speaker 9: they keep playing with these people's lives.
- 1:36:21Speaker 10: Okay, age of disclosure.
- 1:36:23Speaker 31: This shit sucks so I get paid twenty one dollars
- 1:36:30Speaker 31: and eighty one cent. It was just twenty one I
- 1:36:33Speaker 31: recently just got a raise for eighty one cent. Okay,
- 1:36:39Speaker 31: so the cost in look of living in Virginia, that
- 1:36:42Speaker 31: barely covers anything. Because my rent is almost two thousand dollars.
- 1:36:47Speaker 31: You got to let you build that's bringing just from
- 1:36:49Speaker 31: two hundred to four hundred dollars. And then I am
- 1:36:56Speaker 31: getting garnished from an apartment that me and my mom
- 1:37:01Speaker 31: got together when I was nineteen years old. I'm thirty now,
- 1:37:07Speaker 31: so this is a ten year old garnishment and they're
- 1:37:10Speaker 31: taking forty five hundred dollars out of my twenty one
- 1:37:15Speaker 31: dollar and eighty one cent check. And my rent is
- 1:37:20Speaker 31: almost two thousand dollars. Granted I do room with my sister,
- 1:37:24Speaker 31: but that's still half my check. And now they're taking
- 1:37:30Speaker 31: four hundred dollars from each check for an apartment. I
- 1:37:35Speaker 31: don't even stay it anymore. That apartment was in my
- 1:37:39Speaker 31: mom's name. I was co signing on it. But my
- 1:37:43Speaker 31: mom doesn't work a job, so they're gonna come and
- 1:37:46Speaker 31: get come after me. But that till I finished paying everything.
- 1:37:54Speaker 31: Thank god, I have overdrives protection let's just say that
- 1:37:57Speaker 31: it's hard out here. I don't know how to expect
- 1:37:59Speaker 31: us to live, but I think that's the that's the gag.
- 1:38:02Speaker 10: They don't expect us to live.
- 1:38:06Speaker 31: While Confederate groups in Virginia just got their tax breaks cut.
- 1:38:13Speaker 31: I but anyway, I know we all going through it.
- 1:38:21Speaker 31: So if y'all want to share y'all stories in the comments,
- 1:38:24Speaker 31: I really feel like, like Casanova Brown said, this is
- 1:38:28Speaker 31: we need to start talking about this shit like so
- 1:38:32Speaker 31: we can really get mad about this ship so some
- 1:38:33Speaker 31: shit can change, because this is ridiculous. We're we're literally
- 1:38:37Speaker 31: out here dying, becoming homeless, getting sent to jail because
- 1:38:43Speaker 31: we're homeless, all because a few families in this fucking
- 1:38:48Speaker 31: country are greedy beyond belief. So we just all have
- 1:38:52Speaker 31: to suffer. Fuck the fuck all of this. Just burn
- 1:38:56Speaker 31: this shit down.
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: What hundred it's Real Talk. RG are Real Talk Radio.
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: We keep it real.
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: We're back. We're black and into real Talk this week,
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: Miss Lyrics. So, how how much have you been actually
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: on TikTok this week? Why are you falling out? Because
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: I just started this segment? Why are you falling out?
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: You know how time looked up the segment the article
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: to read for news to make you nauseous. I don't
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: know why it's funny. Things just be randomly funny to me.
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: Why the fucking hooked on Phonics drink pop the on
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: the fucking between the article?
- 1:39:53Speaker 6: I'm like, I.
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: Swear it's so mind control for like the basic limited
- 1:40:07Speaker 3: niggas like it's oh, I love my neurodivergence because what
- 1:40:12Speaker 3: do you mean this article got to.
- 1:40:15Speaker 6: Deal with phonics beyond me? Ro like, are you fucking serious?
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:40:23Speaker 9: Learn to read?
- 1:40:24Speaker 3: I know, but you don't. But you don't actually you
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: don't actually read it. Okay, I'm sorry.
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: This random shit just be making me laugh for real,
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: I don't understand it. We're sitting here to reading about
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: child abuse and you're putting a fucking Hooked on Phonics ad.
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: They're like, oh, we can make it legal to kill you.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Let's see if we can write it into law that
- 1:40:55Speaker 3: we can kill you. And then we're like, oh, I'm
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: so angry. What do you know they are trying to
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: write it on paper that they are trying to In
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: my opinion, this cannot be real life. This cannot be
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: real life.
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: At least five times this week Honestly, this cannot be.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: You can't make up what's really happening around us in
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: the world. It seems like I am in a bad
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: to Be film.
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: Listen, this is horrible to Be and Tyler Perry produced it.
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: It's horrible.
- 1:41:34Speaker 14: Oh my good.
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: You know I had the third one in there all right.
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: Inside of Real Talk this week, we're talking about these
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: age of disclosure videos. Have you seen that?
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: Mm hmmm. I've been on TikTok like likes talking about
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: for real for real. I've had a busy week. So
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: what's they talking about on TikTok?
- 1:42:09Speaker 3: From what I see, it's a trend of creators kind
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: of just disclosing things for like what they're going to.
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: You know, everybody goes online to like stunt and you know,
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: pull off stunts and shows and conversations are now being
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: had amongst creators, by creators and for creators and for
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: the rest of us, honestly, just to show how bad
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: things actually are. Because I think that we all kind
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: of go online and we want to post the glam,
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: we want to post the glitz, we want to post
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: the best moments and show everybody that we're great. When
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: there are people out here actually really struggling. So take
- 1:42:48Speaker 3: I mean I played a few before this segment, but
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: take listen to two more, just to kind of give
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: you an overall sight to what people are going through
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: and how they're just sharing and keeping shit real on
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: how it is.
- 1:43:03Speaker 29: You know, I'm not here to compare my situation to
- 1:43:06Speaker 29: anybody else's situation because at the end of the day,
- 1:43:08Speaker 29: we are all struggling, especially in this economy, and although
- 1:43:12Speaker 29: my situation is not as worse as anybody else's, it
- 1:43:16Speaker 29: still is a struggle. So again, it's not about the comparison,
- 1:43:18Speaker 29: because in this economy, the overwhelming majority of US working
- 1:43:23Speaker 29: class people are struggling.
- 1:43:25Speaker 10: And I am one of the millions.
- 1:43:27Speaker 29: Of healthcare workers who's living paycheck to paycheck. I want
- 1:43:31Speaker 29: to give clarity on a couple of things. You can
- 1:43:33Speaker 29: make a lot of money in healthcare, but it comes
- 1:43:36Speaker 29: at a but it comes at a cost. I wanted
- 1:43:38Speaker 29: to hop in and be a part of the conversation
- 1:43:41Speaker 29: that Casanova started about truthful disclosure about your finances in
- 1:43:48Speaker 29: this economy, and some.
- 1:43:50Speaker 10: Of y'all gonna be like, you made good money. You
- 1:43:51Speaker 10: make good money.
- 1:43:52Speaker 29: I do, but when I look at my check as
- 1:43:56Speaker 29: a healthcare worker. I'm lucky if I get half my
- 1:44:00Speaker 29: check after federal taxes have been taken out, after state
- 1:44:04Speaker 29: taxes have been taken out, after my retirement has been
- 1:44:07Speaker 29: taken out, after all of the shit that they charge
- 1:44:12Speaker 29: me a la carte on my insurance, my insurance, my vision,
- 1:44:16Speaker 29: my supplemental disability, I barely get a little bit more.
- 1:44:21Speaker 10: Than half my check.
- 1:44:23Speaker 29: And it's a lot of people in healthcare that make
- 1:44:27Speaker 29: well above minimum waves like I do.
- 1:44:29Speaker 10: That are still living paycheck to paycheck.
- 1:44:32Speaker 29: And I'll be very honest, I owe the irs about
- 1:44:36Speaker 29: twenty thousand dollars in back tax It's almost twenty thousand
- 1:44:38Speaker 29: dollars in back taxes that I.
- 1:44:40Speaker 10: Give them a payment for every month.
- 1:44:44Speaker 29: I have credit card debt, I have a car note
- 1:44:47Speaker 29: and I and I still have a small balance on
- 1:44:50Speaker 29: my student loans, but it's still debt. I live in DC,
- 1:44:55Speaker 29: and living in DC is not cheap, and I make
- 1:44:58Speaker 29: well above minimum wage. And even though I'm not struggling
- 1:45:02Speaker 29: to pay my rent, and the only reason why I'm
- 1:45:05Speaker 29: not struggling to pay my rent is because I took
- 1:45:07Speaker 29: my time to find something that I knew I could
- 1:45:10Speaker 29: pay without struggling. But I don't live in a luxury apartment.
- 1:45:14Speaker 29: I don't live in no extremely safe, nice clean neighborhood.
- 1:45:18Speaker 29: The neighborhood that I just moved to is pretty decent.
- 1:45:20Speaker 29: My apartment is more than decent, and my rent is
- 1:45:23Speaker 29: only twelve fifty in DC, but Southeast DC, that comes
- 1:45:30Speaker 29: at a cost. And the only reason why I'm saying
- 1:45:35Speaker 29: all this is because with all the stuff that we
- 1:45:37Speaker 29: are being taxed on the cost of living, it's crazy,
- 1:45:43Speaker 29: and I see why people crash out because you got
- 1:45:47Speaker 29: to go to work and you have to put up
- 1:45:49Speaker 29: with all the frustrations of dealing with what you have
- 1:45:52Speaker 29: to deal with at your job, and then when you
- 1:45:54Speaker 29: get your check, the overwhelming majority, if not all, of
- 1:45:57Speaker 29: your check goes to bills.
- 1:45:59Speaker 10: Me need cost of living.
- 1:46:01Speaker 29: And I have definitely made my mistakes when it comes
- 1:46:04Speaker 29: to my financial literacy has not been.
- 1:46:07Speaker 10: The best like most Americans.
- 1:46:10Speaker 29: So to all you motherfuckers that want to get on
- 1:46:12Speaker 29: here and try to be like, oh, you should know better,
- 1:46:13Speaker 29: you should know better, the overwhelming majority of Americans don't
- 1:46:17Speaker 29: have good financial literacy.
- 1:46:19Speaker 10: That's why so many of us are in debt.
- 1:46:22Speaker 29: But that still doesn't mean that the cost of living
- 1:46:25Speaker 29: does not need to be motherfucking addressed every because I
- 1:46:29Speaker 29: work hard for what I have.
- 1:46:31Speaker 10: Like right now, I got a stack.
- 1:46:33Speaker 29: Of tickets that I haven't paid because I don't have
- 1:46:35Speaker 29: the money for right now, every time I turn around,
- 1:46:38Speaker 29: I'll get a ticket in the mail. Even it is
- 1:46:40Speaker 29: that the cost of living isn't just your rent, it's gas.
- 1:46:44Speaker 29: It's the cost of living. It's the cost that you
- 1:46:46Speaker 29: have to pay if you take public transportation. Insurance is
- 1:46:49Speaker 29: sky high in DC because you don't have a lot
- 1:46:53Speaker 29: of parking spaces in DC, so you have to park
- 1:46:55Speaker 29: on the street, and they tax the fuck out of
- 1:46:58Speaker 29: you for regardless of it if you have a good
- 1:47:01Speaker 29: record or a driving record, and I don't have a
- 1:47:03Speaker 29: bad driving record, I don't. But like I said, I
- 1:47:09Speaker 29: got a stack of tickets that they keep sending me,
- 1:47:11Speaker 29: And the tickets that they sending me ain't twenty or
- 1:47:13Speaker 29: thirty dollars seventy one hundred, one hundred and fifty. And
- 1:47:19Speaker 29: then if you don't pay the motherfucker in thirty days,
- 1:47:21Speaker 29: they double it. In this fucking economy playing at the
- 1:47:26Speaker 29: end of the day, they still have systems in place
- 1:47:29Speaker 29: to keep you down even when you make good money. So,
- 1:47:33Speaker 29: like I say, even though my struggle is not as
- 1:47:35Speaker 29: bad as some people, it still is a struggle. And
- 1:47:40Speaker 29: at the end of the day, our system is broken
- 1:47:42Speaker 29: and it needs to be fixed.
- 1:47:45Speaker 10: That's it. That's all.
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: Bye, and here's one more.
- 1:47:51Speaker 32: Shit is not sweet? I graduate Friday. Maybe I'm speaking
- 1:47:54Speaker 32: for myself.
- 1:47:55Speaker 28: I don't know. Maybe I'm speaking for other graduates. Please
- 1:47:58Speaker 28: do me a favor.
- 1:47:58Speaker 32: Do not ask me what I'm doing postgraph. I don't
- 1:48:01Speaker 32: fucking know. I cannot find a job. I'm not going
- 1:48:05Speaker 32: to a doctoral program right now. I need a break
- 1:48:11Speaker 32: master's degree. Cannot can't even find a job. Mind you
- 1:48:15Speaker 32: if I did not have a master's degree. Because even
- 1:48:18Speaker 32: talking to my my friends, one is in dental school
- 1:48:21Speaker 32: about to graduate.
- 1:48:23Speaker 28: Job market is ass NBA.
- 1:48:26Speaker 32: Job market is as they want you to have so
- 1:48:29Speaker 32: much experience.
- 1:48:30Speaker 28: Who is going to give us the experience? Mind you?
- 1:48:35Speaker 32: Other friend Bukuo experience was a whole ass manager. Myself
- 1:48:41Speaker 32: worked in healthcare to about two years or so between
- 1:48:45Speaker 32: ABA and insurance.
- 1:48:46Speaker 28: Can't even go to another insurance.
- 1:48:48Speaker 32: Agency because they want you to have so much to
- 1:48:55Speaker 32: get paid thirty five thousand dollars a year. It ain't sweet,
- 1:49:01Speaker 32: because why do I have to pick between working a
- 1:49:07Speaker 32: career that's my passion and paying my bills? Because why
- 1:49:12Speaker 32: do you require a master's and you're only paying fifteen
- 1:49:15Speaker 32: dollars an hour? But I can go work in retail
- 1:49:19Speaker 32: and hate every single waking moment that I'm on my shift,
- 1:49:25Speaker 32: but be able to pay my bills and more, age
- 1:49:29Speaker 32: of disclosure shit is not sweet, because why in a.
- 1:49:33Speaker 28: Master's program are you.
- 1:49:37Speaker 32: Telling students not to work over twenty five hours a week.
- 1:49:43Speaker 28: If they're going full time. However, you are.
- 1:49:46Speaker 32: Only paying US GA T, a g R A whatever
- 1:49:50Speaker 32: eleven fifty a month. That is barely barely my rent.
- 1:49:59Speaker 32: That's barely my rent and my car note at that.
- 1:50:02Speaker 32: Because also why I told on my car in December,
- 1:50:07Speaker 32: Jesus fucking Christ got a new car.
- 1:50:11Speaker 28: My old car was new.
- 1:50:14Speaker 32: Why it's the car note for the car that I
- 1:50:17Speaker 32: have now? Mind you, my credit is better. The car
- 1:50:20Speaker 32: note is more than my car from back then, and
- 1:50:26Speaker 32: then they're the same year I would used card now.
- 1:50:33Speaker 32: Another thing, because people like to get in those job
- 1:50:37Speaker 32: hunk Facebook pages, especially the ones in a Kadan and
- 1:50:40Speaker 32: Lafia and Southern Louisiana because nobody has any empathy for anybody.
- 1:50:44Speaker 32: I saw this woman talking about how she has over
- 1:50:47Speaker 32: ten years of like, you know, health management experience and this,
- 1:50:51Speaker 32: this and that, and she's been applying to places like CBS,
- 1:50:55Speaker 32: CBS don't hire nobody, nobody, Oshner, Cardiovascular Institute of the South,
- 1:51:02Speaker 32: Business and that and cannot get hired on I've had
- 1:51:06Speaker 32: the same experience. People in the comments are no empathy.
- 1:51:10Speaker 32: Well did you email them? Did you call up there?
- 1:51:13Speaker 32: Did you follow up? Did you this this and that this? Yes, yes,
- 1:51:17Speaker 32: we've done all of that. Did you tell your resume
- 1:51:21Speaker 32: at every single job?
- 1:51:22Speaker 28: Yes?
- 1:51:22Speaker 32: I have over eight different versions of the same resume.
- 1:51:28Speaker 32: Do you have a professional something yes? Did you listen
- 1:51:31Speaker 32: core competent?
- 1:51:31Speaker 28: Yes? Yes. And it's like, at this point, the outlook
- 1:51:42Speaker 28: is so grim.
- 1:51:43Speaker 32: I feel like I have no other choice but to
- 1:51:45Speaker 32: go back to school, you know, just for something, because
- 1:51:49Speaker 32: I cannot pay back my loans, which I don't even
- 1:51:51Speaker 32: know if they're going to make me pay back my loans,
- 1:51:54Speaker 32: can't find a fucking job, So it's just like, what
- 1:51:57Speaker 32: what do I have to do? Know, I'm listening to TikTok,
- 1:52:02Speaker 32: I'm listening to the career coaches, and this, this.
- 1:52:04Speaker 28: And that still applied for the job.
- 1:52:06Speaker 32: Even though even if you only you know, hit seventy
- 1:52:10Speaker 32: percent of the targets, they want you to hit one
- 1:52:12Speaker 32: hundred and fifty percent of the targets. It's literally always
- 1:52:17Speaker 32: we regret to inform you. We appreciate your time, we
- 1:52:21Speaker 32: appreciate your consideration. We've chosen to go with another applicant
- 1:52:25Speaker 32: or my favorite. The position is closed. We pulled it.
- 1:52:33Speaker 32: What so you nobody's in the position now at all.
- 1:52:40Speaker 10: Like I'm not full time.
- 1:52:44Speaker 9: That job is not full time.
- 1:52:45Speaker 20: It is nineteen an hour, it is thirty two hours
- 1:52:49Speaker 20: a week. My lease renewal, I've got my third notification
- 1:52:56Speaker 20: about my least renewal. I cannot afford to renew this lead.
- 1:53:01Speaker 20: And I also can afford to move because if you move,
- 1:53:03Speaker 20: what do y'all do? Deposit admin fee, application fee, paying
- 1:53:08Speaker 20: for the moving trug, taking time off for where all
- 1:53:10Speaker 20: this extra stuff that you have to pay for. I
- 1:53:13Speaker 20: cannot afford to do either. One and a lot of
- 1:53:16Speaker 20: people are in this position right now. A lot of
- 1:53:18Speaker 20: people cannot find a job. And it's not because there's
- 1:53:21Speaker 20: just a natural scarcity when it comes to job.
- 1:53:24Speaker 9: It is a manufactured scarcity.
- 1:53:27Speaker 20: They're not hiring anyone, They're cutting ninety percent of their
- 1:53:33Speaker 20: workforce and getting the remaining ten percent to do the
- 1:53:36Speaker 20: work of the other.
- 1:53:37Speaker 9: Ninety percent while not increasing their pay.
- 1:53:41Speaker 20: The cost of everything is going up, but everybody keeps
- 1:53:43Speaker 20: reporting record profits. Nobody can nobody can afford to pay
- 1:53:47Speaker 20: their workers are liberal wage, but everybody has record profits.
- 1:53:51Speaker 20: But you know who does get paid the shareholders who
- 1:53:54Speaker 20: do absolutely nothing for the company. This is the state
- 1:53:59Speaker 20: of the economy, right like, this is a reality, This
- 1:54:02Speaker 20: is real, and this is where we all are. It's
- 1:54:06Speaker 20: a lot more people that are just too embarrassed to
- 1:54:08Speaker 20: say you should never be embarrassed about what this system
- 1:54:11Speaker 20: has done to you, because I'm not. You know what,
- 1:54:15Speaker 20: They keep saying that we're in the age of disclosure, and.
- 1:54:18Speaker 3: I think thoughts and comments.
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: But honestly, this generation is different. Think about it. Our
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: parents and their parents and their parents and their parents
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: and their parents were all taught to keep everything in
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: don't talk about what's going on with outside of your household.
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: What goes on in this house stays in this house.
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: That means certain topics like what the family's going to do.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: If you're struggling if you're going through this. That and
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: the third mental health type of situations, scandals, family drama.
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: Everything was put under this umbrella of hush, hush, don't
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: tell keep it, keep it all under the household, and
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: keep ship to yourself. Now, this new generation of young
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: people are coming out and they're like, fuck that we got.
- 1:55:15Speaker 6: I'm gonna let you know that.
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: I have anxiety, I'm an autistic, I'm going through this
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: is what's happening to me.
- 1:55:24Speaker 6: I've experienced this, I don't like this.
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: They're very much more vocal and outgoing with their self
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: expression and.
- 1:55:36Speaker 6: Telling their stories of what they're what they've been going through.
- 1:55:40Speaker 6: This is just a new age.
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: And social media elevates that to a certain degree. Everybody
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: has a certain platform.
- 1:55:50Speaker 6: Where they can get on.
- 1:55:53Speaker 14: And just talk and.
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: That voice for someone who may be going through the
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: same thing. And honestly, we all are fronts are going
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: through this, do the same thing.
- 1:56:06Speaker 6: Most people won't want to admit it, but in this.
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: Economy, you have to be going through something.
- 1:56:13Speaker 6: Financially, there's no have to.
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: You have to. Even the rich are going through things.
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: Nobody is balling out here the way that y'all think
- 1:56:23Speaker 3: that people are balling and yeah they y'all.
- 1:56:26Speaker 1: See people's pictures and stories and think that, oh, these
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: people are living this extravagant life.
- 1:56:32Speaker 6: Let's be for real. Most of these content.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: Creators are renting Airbnb's, they're renting these cars, they're renting
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: these jewelry, this jewelry. If their hair is always laid,
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: they probably have something worked out with another content creator
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: where they can get their hair done for free. Y'all
- 1:56:50Speaker 1: are letting social media run y'all life and think that
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: you can obtain this unattainable type of situation. And this
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: to me and this is not real life. I'm a
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: business owner and I still have a part time to
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: make ends meet. Yeah, that's my disclosure for your ass.
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: You have to do what you have to do in
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: this world right now where we're living in because they've
- 1:57:18Speaker 1: they're making it hard for you. They want to that
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: setting people up for failure, and you have to get
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: around that in any way that you possibly fucking can.
