  Speaker 1: earned run. I believe had like eight strikeouts. I want

  Speaker 1: to say he looked, he looked really really good. Again,

  Speaker 1: it's the best we've seen Jared looking back to back

  Speaker 1: who were you most impressed with this weekend? Of their three,

  Speaker 1: We'll say Christian Curtis was a start as well. So

  Speaker 1: which of these three was the most impressive?

  Speaker 2: I mean, I think Christian Curtis, out of these three,

  Speaker 2: was just so impressive, just because he didn't really know

  Speaker 2: he was about to make this start. You know, his

  Speaker 2: like family only got so much heads up to make
• 2:35
  Speaker 2: it for his MLB debut, so he kind of got

  Speaker 2: thrown out of his rhythm, you know, just it's you're

  Speaker 2: making your major league debut. There's a lot going on,

  Speaker 2: and he handled all of that perfectly and looked great.

  Speaker 2: I mean, the velocity was really really nice, just like

  Speaker 2: the control. Uh, he was really efficient and like what

  Speaker 2: his start for this team. We were talking last episode about,

  Speaker 2: you know, Seth Hernandez willing to do whatever to help

  Speaker 2: this team win even if he's in the minors. Christian

  Speaker 2: Curtis stepped up and gave this team a crucial spot

  Speaker 2: start when they're about to have six games in five
• 3:14
  Speaker 2: days against two of the best teams in the American
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: League with the Yankees coming up next, and so him

  Speaker 2: being able to fill in and have Brax andn Ashcraft

  Speaker 2: bump his start to a team where it's the Yankees
• 3:26
  Speaker 2: with a much better ops than you know, the Cleveland Guardians.

  Speaker 2: That was I was just really impressed by Christian Curtis
• 3:34
  Speaker 2: and it's you know, it stinks that he got option
• 3:37
  Speaker 2: back to triple A, but I don't think that's surprising
• 3:40
  Speaker 2: at all. We knew after he pitched he's not gonna
• 3:43
  Speaker 2: be able to pitch again for four or five days.

  Speaker 2: So get him back back to starting, keep him stretched
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: out in triple A. And it's nice to know that

  Speaker 2: if we need help in the bullpen for more like
• 3:53
  Speaker 2: long relief like that, or a spot in the rotation

  Speaker 2: comes of it becomes available, that's a really good looking option.

  Speaker 2: And that's not even to mention like Wilburdjtel we didn't

  Speaker 2: see him this weekend. Another young arm that could possibly

  Speaker 2: fill that same kind of role where stretched out and

  Speaker 2: like maybe come out of the bullpen. What about you,

  Speaker 3: I'm gonna go Jared Jones because obviously I was gonna

  Speaker 1: a stretch to be proud of, and that includes Paul Skins.

  Speaker 1: a lot of help from his defense today. Oh yeah,

  Speaker 2: just linger in this bullpen because how can Don Kelly

  Speaker 1: just not happening, and it's time to go get some help.

  Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about Isert, who was the second

  Speaker 1: best player acquired for a draft pick. You know, you

  Speaker 1: need to go get a real reliever. Other teams are

  Speaker 1: doing it. The Brewers have made editions, the Cubs have

  Speaker 1: made additions. The draft is over, it's the it's the
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: back half of July. Go get them overpay It's time.

  Speaker 1: As long as it's not Seth Hernandez or Edward Florentino,

  Speaker 1: you gotta consider it. Man. You you traded for all

  Speaker 1: of these low level prospects last year. You load it

  Speaker 1: up in high A, low A, double A and all

  Speaker 1: of these guys. You have a stockpile of young shortstops.

  Speaker 1: You have a stockpile young third baseman, young catchers. Some

  Speaker 1: Zmerlin Valdez in that group where are you playing them

  Speaker 1: because they're not playing short stop next year and you

  Speaker 1: just trade for Jacob Gonzalez, So you got a logjam there.

  Speaker 1: It's time to overpay and go get an arm. It's

  Speaker 1: time and that means that will mean the departure of

  Speaker 1: Dennis Santana. It's just beyond time because right now then

  Speaker 1: everything else is fine. Gonzales looks pretty good at short

  Speaker 1: They kind of fixed that.

  Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that that was we said that was priority, and.

  Speaker 3: sure his confidence, you know, as a picture of Dennis Santana.

  Speaker 3: You know, relievers are told to have the shortest memory,

  Speaker 3: and getting hit the way, that confidence can't be at

  Speaker 3: an all time high. And as you said, Mark just

  Speaker 3: may not be as year, but if this is going

  Speaker 3: to be the Pirates year, they have to shake up

  Speaker 3: some things, and unfortunately that may mean, as you said,

  Speaker 3: Connor got hurt and they need to address bullpen was
